Only 5'7, but my money's not proportionate
Y'all ain't stopping my plans, got too much in my hands
Calluses, spices on my gym, never dropping it blame
Calluses, cheers into my wins, cup filled to the brim
Calluses, just me and my friends, never letting y'all eat
Calluses, that's it, I'm walking like Jackson
On top of the fraction, you healing it, but I feel different
I'm big dog, like a mastiff, every line is a cash-in
Make it hit her for ad-libs, said the dog would happen
When I try to take the head, head get blurrier
Fresh on me to the little bitch, I care like a courier
She told me to slow down, don't burn out, she a worrier
Told her, don't worry about it, I stay solid, I'm sturdy
Yeah, I'm back in it like I never left
Head banging like a metalhead
Ain't nobody above sea talking musically
It's a treble clef, my spot marked like a letter X
That's how you know that they treasure this
They treasure this, they treasure this
Take this shit out and I'll send it back
I'll pop out and I'll send a flash, I don't remember that
Men in black, I tip toe to a pole
Whatever's still, never get covered
Skate on it, man, go figure this out
Ice can't hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me, hold me
That's it, I'm walking like Jackson
On top of the frags, say you're human, living
I feel different, I'm big, dog, like a mastiff
Every line is a cash in, make it here for ads
Live, said the dog would happen, and it happens
Good afternoon, everyone, how are we doing today?
Guys, if you haven't already, bottom right hand corner
Let's go ahead and repost, comment, bookmark
We're gonna get this moving a little bit
Um, if you guys don't already know
We are here with Metropolis World
If you guys haven't already, let's go ahead
And leave some questions in the comments
Because I do want to open it up for community questions
I think that would be fair for everyone
But we'll ask the questions for you as well
As we go through all of these questions
So, I want to go ahead and check in here
Metropolis, how are we doing?
Doing well, doing well, how are you?
I know, I basically just asked the whole city
A whole world to come off mute
And just everyone addressed me at once
No, no, no, I'm just kidding
I'll start a little by little
Vashid, how are we doing?
And I apologize in advance for anyone's name
It is just part of my thing
Vashid, how are you doing?
Good, good, great to be here
Very pumped to see our space is coming back
So, you know, very excited
It's really definitely chapter two
It's the beginning of a journey
Where I lost about the happen of Metropolis
So, very excited about this new chapter
Man, I'm really bad with names
I can help you, I can help you
That was way better than what I was going to be like
Rania, you know, it was going to be really, really bad
Just think Tania with an R
That's what I tell people
Rania, how are we doing today?
Yeah, definitely chapter two
And a lot in store for our new spaces
You know, I don't want to check in on anyone
That doesn't want to be checked in on
So, you know, no one else came up
So, I will respect the mute button in this instance
But just as a quick refresher
Whether it's Rashid or Rania
Why don't we start with a quick refresher
Of what is Metropolis world
And we'll take it from there
And we'll get into the questions a little bit
I mean, if I had to do it in one line
I'd say Metropolis is the capital cities of the metaverse
The coolest, most happening ecosystem
But really, what we're ultimately doing
Is building a world where you have avatars
You have commerce, gaming, quests
We're bringing it all together with rich IP
An amazing roster of partners
We have about 400 major brands and creators on board of us already
So, it's really a very ambitious project
We're taking it step by step
But it's really starting to come together
And this is a big year for us
Where we start to really unleash a lot of our products
And bring it all together
And I want to follow that up real quick
What was the inspiration behind all this in the first place?
So, actually, you know, I got into NFTs
As a music producer in I think it was 2022
And when I started getting into all these different NFT projects
Getting in the Discord, seeing their roadmaps
And I really felt that just the background that I had and Rania had
With 20 years of world building experience
I mean, she was doing what we called Multiverse
Long before the metaverse existed
We felt that we could really bring something very rich on the IP side
We felt that it could just be something very unique in the space
And that was what triggered the idea to start Metropolis, I think
I don't know, Rania, if you wanted to add to that
Yeah, no, I think world building's always been something we've been doing
And interested in even before the term metaverse was ever used
So, when we started looking at the space
And we were like, look, we could create something really insane
And in terms of the art, the depth of the IP
So, yeah, it all started about, what, almost two years ago
Just two years, is that it?
No, just kidding, that's a joke, that's a joke
No one takes that seriously, please, for the love of God
But no, in all seriousness, I want to remind everyone just one more time
I do have one more question before we dive into it a little bit deeper
If you guys haven't already, go ahead, repost, comment, and bookmark the space
To make it super easy for everyone
I've attached the, I pinned it to the top of the Jumbotron
So, all you have to do is go to the top of my head right here
Click through on that, repost, like it
Comment any questions you have
All the good stuff, you guys already know
If you guys are on spaces, you've been through this thing before
So, we're going to get into it
But as we're going through, I would implore anyone who's listening
If you have any questions at all
That you feel like we're missing
That you do want to ask, that you want to know yourself
I'm not shy, I'm not afraid to ask questions
I might warn them in advance
Hey, this question's a little hard hitting, so get ready
But that's about all the warning that they're going to get
Otherwise, you know, it's going to be like this
Just straight up air horn to the face
Straight up air horn to the face
If you guys haven't already, go ahead
Feel free to throw any questions in there
We're going to get this going
There was just one more question that I had
You know, when we're in the web3 space
There is a lot that comes and goes
There's all sorts of different cultures, vibe, mixes
In general, just on a daily basis, right
We're in a global ecosystem, whether we think it or not
Yes, obnoxious Americans like myself
There is a world outside of the Easter standard time zone
Okay, daylight savings, fuck this
And I will not stand for it
But anyway, I digress, I digress
Sorry, we just changed an hour ahead
And it has been triggering ever since I woke up on Monday
But there's a lot that comes and goes
So from your perspective, and how you see this
As a team as well, what do you see
That makes Metropolis different overall?
I would say, and around you, feel free to follow
But I would say it's a few things
We're building in a way where we don't hype
As much maybe as other projects
Because we're focused on this long-term vision
Of building the best possible product
Having the best possible partners, best possible investors
And that's something that we really pride ourselves on
You'll see that in even our partner ecosystem
The quality of the products we release
Everything is really well sought out
For the short term and the long term
And we feel like we're a very lean, mean team
But everything in our thesis is starting to come on trend
And we're seeing a very clear vision
Of what metaverse should be
Digital commerce should be
And I feel we're right on the path for that
I think we're building a city, as you say
In Metropolis, we're building an ecosystem
We're not building a one-off drop here and there
In the space, people just come
They drop stuff, and then that's it
But for us, it's so multifaceted
Many layers, and it takes more time
But Joby actually is on here too
I'd love for him to jump in as well
I mean, I think what's happened is
Basically all those others that faded away
Just gave up when they realized they weren't Metropolis
Joby, you and I are going to be friends
We're going to be friends
Who is the team behind Metropolis?
I know you also have Vami up here
Obviously we just talked with Joby
But what's the background looking like?
What's the kind of credentials I get
I dare I say for lack of a better way to say it
So I guess, Rani, let's start with you
Because I think as the world-building awesome expert
Which would start with you and get your background
And then we can give you a bit of each person on the team
Okay, yeah, background and film
Then moved into immersive experiences
Built something called Pips Island
Which opened in Times Square
And it was a whole sort of hero's journey
And families that took them
At the time we called it a multiverse
So they went through like a one-hour immersive world
And they were like graphic novels and animation
And all the gaming associated
But yeah, I would say a lot in film
A lot in immersive world-building
Rani is very modest by the way
It was called The Future of Entertainment
By Forbes, her Pips Island
So it was a very big event
And again on the world-building side
Years of expertise on building that
So why am I giving you a background?
No, it's fine, I wouldn't like to hear what you have to say about me
So I started as a professional cyclist
Went from that into finance as a stockbroker
And then from there into entrepreneurship
Disappeared down the crypto rabbit hole
And here I am trying to figure out
How I ended up in this situation
But yeah, so I haven't taken the traditional CTO route
But I think that's better really
Because you've got all the other experience
Along with just pure code
And by the way Sansa, on the technical side
We also have Adam, he's not here with us today
But he's one of the earliest engineers at Squarespace
And that's why when you start to look at some of our products
They're very beautiful from the UX, UI side
So he's a real beast when it comes to that
And Jeff as well here has been with us from day one
Jeff, if you wanted to do an intro, it'd be great as well
Well, hey, what's up everyone
I am primarily like a writer, actor, producer
From like the theater and film world
I've been working there for like the last almost 10 years or so now
I tend to focus a lot on like experimental non-traditional storytelling methods
Across like social media or other platforms
Yeah, I kind of met Rania on a couple of projects
Before we started doing Metropolis World on a couple of other films
I met her at like Pips Island and stuff
And you know, invited me on this project
Probably two, almost two and a half years ago now
To kind of like help develop the world, the storytelling
And figure out how to like, you know, tell stories within this space
And make it an entirely new experience
And we got a lot of exciting things coming
That I'm not allowed to talk about just yet
But you know, we got it coming along
It's super exciting and I'm going to be really, really happy
Once I'm able to reveal some of the things that I'm working on
All right, then keep your secrets, Jeff
I just got the visual of Jeff wearing a trench coat
And he had just opened up the right side of his trench coat
And it just shows secret one, secret two, secret three
And then there's just a whole row right underneath each one
So, you know, I don't actually have any secrets
I just have a lot of pieces of paper that say the word secret on it
That's how you got to do it
And it's very obvious that there are
You know, there are valid credentials and backgrounds
When it comes to something like this
Because, like you said, the interface is super friendly
I think that that's something where we need to appreciate that more
I feel like we take that for granted here
Over here in this little Web3 ecosystem that we have
Which is like, well, why isn't the website beautiful?
And it's like, my brother in Christ
You can't be taking that for granted
That's something that's a luxury, not a necessity
And so, I want to dive a little bit further
And I want to remind everyone just one more time
If you do have questions or any comments that you want asked
Feel free to throw in the comment section
If you want to go to the XML, tag me
So I can make sure I know exactly where you are
But in the Metropolis bio as well
And kind of what we discussed
We mentioned commerce, gaming, social fight
Oh, art, oh wow, I can't talk today
This is what happens when you don't have your second cup of coffee
Early enough, honestly, this is my fault
But let's rewind, shall we?
In the bio, and what we discussed
You mentioned commerce, gaming, social fight, art, and culture
So I want to dive into that just a little bit
What was it that one that brought all these concepts to the table
That you said, hmm, this might be a good marriage
And then on top of that, what made you decide, you know what, we're going to tackle this
So I want to kind of throw that over to you guys
I think for us, it's been looking at what is the most vibrant city made up of
So one of the big things that kept coming up was commerce
I mean, in a city, you've got people exchanging goods, exchanging ideas, buying, selling, trading
So that was a really big piece for us
In terms of just one of the key pillars of the company
And there's a lot we're doing with commerce
That's quite new in terms of how commerce will be applied to both the physical and digital world
And then we brought on board all these great partners, musicians and artists and filmmakers
So how do you bring the culture and the commerce together?
That's a big piece of what we're doing
And then gaming really is something that just makes so much sense in our ecosystem
So this idea of gaming to earn products
Gaming commerce is a big thing that we're currently working on
So those three pillars are a big piece of any city
And where we felt we need to build product to really allow people to engage
And then of course social is something that makes up a city
It's how do we interact in the city
How do we do what we want to do, engage, throw events, come together and make connections
So it's very ambitious in the sense that a city is this melting pot of all these different people
And things happening and events and experiences
But we feel that we've taken the time to develop a product and the rollout of this product
That allows these things to happen in the best possible way
And that's what we're constantly focused on here at Metropolis
And it just folds out the tongue over here at Metropolis
In the great city of Metropolis
Don't mind me guys, I'm just auditioning for a voice acting gig here
By the way it sounds like we're going to have to do a property for you
That's a given, so that's something we've got to talk about at some point
And so I actually wanted to kick
I don't know why I went into that random impromptu audition
But I want to remind everyone one more time you haven't already reposted the space
And don't forget the book market
You never look at your bookmarks anyway
Half of you don't even know where your bookmarks are
But here's a little bit of alpha
So help us, help you, help us
Totally make sense of what I just said
So in turn, in TLDR, bookmarks the space
Let's get this going, let's keep this moving
But I also want to just do a quick little side trip here
I want to get your thoughts here on RWAs
Because this is kind of what it reminds me of that
And I'm curious, because it is a hot topic
That's been a while a little bit
It's been around for a bit
But at the same time, it's also been a topic that people are kind of taking for granted, I feel like
And so I want to get your thoughts here on the general
Just general thoughts and takes here
Not looking to make this into a whole discussion
What are your general thoughts and take towards RWAs?
Just to be sure, when you say RWA
How we tie back to real world assets
Yeah, real world assets like Pokemon cars
Trading card games have been pretty popular when it comes to utilizing that aspect of it
A big ethos for us are ideas that
Just because you exist in a digital world doesn't mean that you ignore the physical one
So for us, it's always been this tie back from digital to physical and vice versa
Which is why we're working with so many amazing artists that have real world prints
Or fashion designers that you can actually go and buy their stuff and their merch
I think it's huge and I think, again, it's just how we are in life
We always look at everything we produce and we're like, well, how do people exist?
They really care about their stuff just as much as they care about their digital identity
So that sort of connection and interplay is, we feel very important, at least for us
The mute button, I got a little nervous for a second
Because the mute button sometimes does this thing where you try to unmute
And it says, no, you cannot come up, no
And then I have to do this awkward thing of leaving the stage
And making it look like I'm just leaving you
Even though I'm not, I just have to leave and then come back in order to fix it
So thankfully, we don't have that problem today
But I like the way you said that, Armani
I think it's something where, you know, it's one of these things where people don't realize
Is short of Armani up and up a little bit
But it's also still further developing
And in order to make sure we can have that aligned
As opposed to just doing it for the sake of doing it
Is a very, very, very, very different ballpark
We're in the ecosystem of, you are doing it in order just to do it
And there's no other reason for this to be happening, right?
So I do like that there is an intention and a purpose behind everything
Which is underrated, honestly
But I want to bring this back
I want to mention this as well
Because I was scrolling through
And I saw the work that you guys have kind of collabed with
And doing with graphic designers and illustrators
Because I just saw it yesterday
So I can pin it up on top
As well for people to sort of get an idea of it
Like we had the shirt as well
We also had the Mercedes-Bazan
California-based graphic designer as well
I want to kind of ask you a little bit
You know, again, I pinned these up on top
How is that? What is that process like?
Can we dive a little bit deeper into this one?
You mean the process of working with different creators
Yeah, I mean, it's great usually
It's great, most people are pretty receptive
It's more about, you know, first the curation
It's like, who are the people we like, we admire
And then we sort of share the vision of what we're doing
With the fashion line with Mercedes
And all these amazing creators like Brian Brinkman
And Steve Ioki, musicians, blondish, all kinds
For them, it's been great
Because they get to kind of think of their art
Or think of what they do through digital fashion
Or through a digital collectible and the trait
And then also thinking of how that trait could, you know, unlock something
Whether it's a real world product or experience or event
And then the fun of it is kind of taking their art or their look or their brand
And then metropolizing it, I guess, to work with our avatars
So that's, you know, another creative process, a back and forth that we do
I don't know, Jeff, maybe you want to speak to this
Because it's something we're always working on together
Yeah, no, I mean, a lot of that is pretty much
You gave a pretty good summary of how we kind of bring these people in
I think one of the core things that we look at, or at least I look at
When we're deciding what partners we want to work with
Or who we're releasing is, do we, what is their work like?
Is it someone that we really respect?
Because we don't necessarily want to be having these people up on our platform
Who we're not necessarily in love with their work either
Like, a lot of these artists are just that, they're artists
They're not necessarily like people who are out here to make money
People who are out here trying to commercialize every aspect of who they are
We want to be this platform in this city of real people
Who are filling it with their real passions
At every step that we're trying to create all of these things
Because that's the biggest thing about creating this city and bringing it to life
If we just have like a hundred commercials or a hundred brands
That's what the city is going to be
So it's really important that these artists are incredible and passionate
And real human beings with real causes outside of those things
There is no other more bullish indicator than elevating creators
And so I think that's the best part of this
Just out of curiosity, what was the birth of this?
What did it stem from in general?
If you don't mind me asking
Because this is not something that every business or project thinks to do in the first place
And so I hope you don't mind me asking that
I think the big part of it is that we're all creators
I'm a musician, Ryan is a filmmaker, Jeff in theatre and acting
So just generally the team understand what it is to be a creator
And pour your heart and soul into your work
And find ways to actually get it out there
So we can create a platform that empowers that
This creates the creator economy
And I think blockchain and web 3 really enables that in a great way
When executed in the right way
So I think that for us has been something that's just personally a passion for all of us
We understand it as creators ourselves
And I mean not to, or just to kind of like add on to that
I remember like way back when we were kind of designing the city
Like you know the first couple of months that we started working together
And we had these dreams of building these like online cities
That were their you know self functioning ecosystems
That were all incredibly diverse
But also kind of built and curated around individual communities and interests
Because right now one of the huge problems within like the art industry
And a lot of problems for like up and coming artists are
You know you have platforms like X
You have all of these social media platforms
And everything is all kind of smushed together into this one platform
And it's incredibly difficult to find people who are passionate about your work
Or about who you are, what you're doing
So if we can create these you know ecosystems
Which are specifically curated with communities
And pair them with like artists and like entire experiences
That are curated specifically for them
Then it really assists you know the communities
To feel like they are having this more curated experience
But also artists who are looking to build a community
And connect with people in a more authentic way
So that they're not having to you know play to trends
Or play to algorithms like they have to do on like X or something like that
How dare you make things easier
We want to grind all day every day until we burn out, Jeff
No one take that seriously
Out of anything to take seriously
And so I kind of want to also you know
With creators also comes activations in general
So I want to ask you guys in general
What are the activations that you've already done perhaps
And as well as the activations that are to come in the near future
And kind of like you know because again
As someone who has also created myself
Obviously not to the extent of you beautiful talented people
I'm just a guy with a mic at the end of the day
You know I just talk like this whenever I want
But no in all seriousness
What are those activations looking like
And more so what activations have you done already if any
I think the activations we're looking and actually currently working on
Is basically this questing, questing commerce
And that's a big one you know you have now the avatar builder
And you have this incredible city with all the lore and stories
And then you have all these amazing creators
So the idea of bringing that together
Where you can go and get a Brian Brinkman t-shirt
And that unlocks the Brian Brinkman quest
That maybe takes place in his property
But then it sends you to other properties
So that's a big one for us
This kind of questing commerce
That uses your digital identity
And that is powered by a creator
And you know maybe the reward in the end is a digital collectible from that creator
Or maybe it's a workshop with them or an event or a product
And I think you know questing
You know it just makes me feel like I'm back on my Pokemon days on the Gameboy
And I'm on my way to the first Pokemon gym
And I'm grinding away in the grass a little bit
To get my Pokemon to a level
So that I don't get absolutely murdered in the first battle
With this Pokemon gym leader
You know and so that's what I kind of like about that
You guys are expecting that ending
But now in all seriousness I like that idea
I don't want to make you feel like you have to give me all your secrets
Which I will get a secret out before the end of space
Can you dive into what a typical quest might look like Rania
I'm going to get Jeff to answer that one actually
So a lot of you know what instead of detailing exactly like what the quests are
You know maybe it's better for me to describe what's important to us
When we're looking at some of these platforms that are engaging
Or how we're looking to design our questing platform
You know I look at a lot of like play to earn games right now
And I find them to be kind of like not very engaging for me
It's all about grinding, it's all about fun
It's just specifically about making money
And it's a different kind of investment that we're looking for
When it comes to Metropolis world
We're looking for people who are invested in our stories
Our world, our characters
Who are more intrinsically connected and building something within our world
Beyond a purely monetary standpoint
So when we're designing these quests
We're looking for them to be dynamic
We want them to be engaging
And we want them to be able to
We want them to be something that you can play your way
No matter who you are or what you're interested in
So there are those people who are interested in
You know specifically just grinding
We want to give people who are interested in
You know building a character
Or we want to give people that opportunity to
Play a quest or go on an adventure
Or do these things that are exciting to them
Within our world in a more
That allows them to play and tell the stories that they want to tell
Yeah that's meaningful as well
I think everything we want to do at Metropolis
And we hopefully are doing
It's not just random stuff
You know something else for us is we have an incredible community
You know really amazing property owners
Who in themselves are incredible creators
They have their own lines, merch lines
They're adding mythology to the world
So we also want to empower them with this questing platform
That they too can you know create their own quests
It's not just us having to create all the quests
So the owner of Robot Clinic for example
Can you know sponsor his own quests
And he actually has his own fashion line on Metropolis X
So even the community and the property owners
Start to kind of become part of this ever growing and sustainable city
And I think this also kind of speaks to
Another big point of what we've kind of talked about
In terms of like building the city
Or the lore that we kind of created for it
And you know that extremely extensive process
Of just creating all of these one of one buildings
With all of their stories and everything
Was it's really important that this city
And all of the art that we're creating
Is more than just these blank storefronts
Like we kind of relate it to you know a regular city
Like New York or LA or something
You know every storefront has its own story
Whereas you go into another video game world
Say like World of Warcraft even
Like you know there are copy paste buildings
Which have just like nameless NPCs
Or you can't even enter them
And when you're in a real city
Every storefront started from someone's passion or dream
It has some kind of purpose or history within that city
So it's really important when we're developing this questing platform
To kind of bring that to life in a way
So that we can kind of you know make these buildings
Make all of what we have built
Come to life in a way that feels real
That feels like a real city in the digital world
At what point do I catch them all
So that I can you know do that
That's one of those secrets I was talking to you about
And I don't think I'm allowed to say it
Because I'm not at the top of the totem pole here
Well Jeff you are you are proving your work right now
That is just insane to me
I would have caved in by now
Would have caved in about 15 minutes ago
You're welcome to keep trying
Chipping away slowly but surely
And I like the way that you
Were able to describe that without it having to be straight up
Like this this is exactly what's going to happen
Because the reality is at the end of the day
People you might realize people may not want that
But you could still have the same goal and concept
But different different structure to get there in the first place right
And so I think I think that's worth that's worth
And I'm saying this more so as someone
Who has been hosting spaces for the last
So I say this as the way of that
It's important for projects and businesses
To have that little bit of a fine line of transparency
And not in the way that we're all thinking
In terms of like 2021 bull market was like
We're building in silence everyone
We're building in silence for six months
You'll never hear a peep out of us
You know just more of like
Just more of like you know
The slow drip of announcements
Instead of blowing your load all out in one week
When you know you could probably set it at you
When you probably all set it out
Week after week of the slow drip of
Here's announcement number one
Here's announcement number two
Here's announcement number three
Here's what we're going to do
And how we're going to do it
Let that let that kind of sink in
For the community that's listening paying attention
So that they can do it appropriately
They can do it in the way that they want to
As long as they have the right information
I want to throw it over to you real quick
Well one thing that you kind of spoke on
The notion of transparency
When it comes to a lot of these
You know revealing of plans
And you know in the sake of transparency
What some of these ideas are
You know some of what we're not speaking on
With the Questing platform
It's one of those things where
If this was kind of revealed
We're like really excited about it
A lot of different places
Could be really excited about it
But if it's done too quickly
It's not going to necessarily be up to
The kind of storytelling that we
Believe is possible with this kind of thing
Part of the secrets is like
Us really kind of holding things
So that we can release something
That's going to be amazing
Overcomplicating the market
With like a hundred really bad
Like we're super excited for
The day that we actually do
And you know start dripping out
Jeff is slowly getting the custom
He's slowly getting the custom
I do want to say one thing
Please feel free to leave a question
Some of you are in group chats with me
Feel free to tag me in there
You don't want to do it publicly
But let's start with this
How can people get involved
Just whether it's as a creator
Whether it's as a consumer
Whether it's as whatever you want to call it
How can they get involved
So that was a funny moment
I'll give one piece of alpha
I start giving away too much
This new hub of Metropolis
Which is going to bring together
Into one cohesive website
It will really kind of start to explain
How everything comes together
Of course we'll talk about it
The simplest way to access Metropolis
If you want to dive deeper
Behind the Metropolis account here
That's heading up our community
A lot's happening in Discord
We're going to be doing a lot of events
And really bringing the community together
I think that's kind of the first piece
Just always just feel free to reach out
We're always looking for new creators
To launch in our marketplace
That's something we're constantly doing
Working with exciting young creators
Get a hold of all the assets
I should have just said that
Directed people to those two slides
I think Toby still wanted to hear
How you were going to roll out
The red carpet for him earlier
That he didn't get to hear that
A little bit of what they're thinking
What is it that you enjoy the most
What are you looking the most forward to
There's so much to look forward to
I'm not going to tell you anything
And for all those of you who've been with us
And are playing around with all the different
And everything we've got for them
All of it is starting to come together
We've got all these pillars
Which are going to hold up
Of something pretty spectacular
I'm looking forward to all of that coming together
I mean obviously I have to work with the Rashid
So you know nothing's perfect
It's absolutely incredible
We've got loads of stuff coming up
And I actually want to throw this question over to Rashid
What are you guys personally looking forward to?
As someone who has worked in multiple projects before
Dig in a little bit of what each team member
I've noticed that every team member has their own thing
That they're personally excited about
That's different from their respective other team members
Vani, let's start with you
What are you looking the most forward to?
Making a lot of our current assets
We're working into bringing them into 3D
So that's been a really fun process
Working with Polygonal Minds
And we have our in-house 3D specialist Walter
And then I think the thing personally is
We spent so much time working on the lore
And the storytelling and the properties
We started focusing on other things
So I'm excited to go back to the storytelling
And bringing that to life
And bringing to life the characters
Because I think they kind of were on hold
And now as we come full circle
Seeing that world come to life
I think it's really interesting
Something that brings a lot of people together
And there are people who just enjoy hearing others
You know actively trying to come up with my own
But I definitely love hearing
And seeing how other people do it
And so I want to throw this over to you
So I'll kind of talk about
Where I'm putting a lot of energy right now
And I'm really excited about it as our token
So I think that's something that's pretty imminent
And I'm excited just because
One, we've just finished a seed round
We've brought amazing investors on board
Which has just helped the project generally
In-depth group now of advisors
It opens up a lot of great partnerships for us
And generally just the whole process
Of getting this token ready
Bringing the utility of that token together
And we spent hours with the team
How does a token kind of play in the city
How does the air drop work
All these different elements to me
Have been really exciting
So just as a project that's very imminent
And it's going to come to market really soon
I've been very excited as it's just
I would say that's another little alpha
And it probably needs a whole space
And we're very excited about
What that does for the whole ecosystem
Jeff, you got to get your man
You got to come get your man
Jeff is probably sweating right now
He's spinning secret number five to the wall
And ripping off secret number six
I don't know what I wanted to
That really weird random voice
That is totally not Jeff at all
But one more thing that I want to ask
Well, Jeff, I didn't really get to ask you this
What are you the most excited about?
It's the secret questing platform
I am genuinely sad that I can't
But you should hear me in our team meetings
I'm the most annoying person in the world
I could nerd out about it for hours
Well, go ahead and nerd out about it
Stop tempting me! I'm not allowed to!
I don't know why I went into the evil app, I'm sorry
But yeah, look, look, next time
That wasn't the right one
That wasn't the right line for that
And then we're going to start
Any closing remarks from myself
And then we'll play some music
Again, this is everyone's chance
If you do have any questions
For yourself, for the Metropolis team
Please, this is the time to ask it
I will ask it right away for you
So just a heads up for everyone there
Can we at least talk about
What the very next activation is
The one that is the soonest upcoming
Something that we always try to make consistent
Our whole model here is about
Like every week you have something exciting
I wouldn't label that as activation
Or maybe that is an activation
But when it comes to the big milestone
A lot of information is going to roll out on that
On getting this hub ready
But yeah, that's pretty much, I think, the big piece
That we're all going to be working heavily to
Just slide me one percent of the supply
That's not the right joke
That's an inappropriate joke
I have a feeling people are understanding here
What's coming next for Metropolis, chapter two
I feel like we covered a lot
I want to check in with you guys, the team
We covered the bases that you wanted it covered
This is the time to cover those bases
So anything you guys want to add
On top of everything we've already talked about?
From my side, I'd just say
I think this is a great name, chapter two
Because it's been a lot of bringing stuff together
And now it's going to be just
Never-ending, consistent releases
There'll be product releases, partner announcements
So what I'd like to say is
Stay tuned, come join these spaces
Because a lot's going to be revealed
And it's never, ever going to stop
For the rest of a different time
And Discord is back with our woods here
Now, you guys might be like
What do you mean? Jeff didn't tell us anything
Well, let me tell you this
I want you to listen back to the spaces
And I want you to listen to Jeff
Between the lines of everything he was saying
He left you a little code
Some of you might be like
Sansa, are you being serious?
Or are you making this up?
Also, a little bit of Joby
The listener Joby, too, as well
He was giving a lot of authors there
She just straight up gave us the Alpha
So there's no reading in between anything
Arania was, you know, she was serving it up
So again, again, I'm giving you all the clues that you need
Giving you all the clues that you need
It's all right there, right in front of us
So, guys, I hope you enjoyed these spaces
And I hope, when you listen back to this replay
If you're listening back to the replay right now
And you're like, holy shit, did I miss something?
We will see you guys soon
Next week and the week after
Forever and ever and ever
Guys, you could have gone to any place today
You should have come to this one
And we appreciate every single one of you for it
I just keep on winning while I'm swimming with the door of fame
I don't need a door, I'd knock that thing right off the door of hands
I put it so big that we'll be driving eight coordinates
Series of events that led to this was not unfortunate
Only five, seven, but my money's not proportionate
Y'all ain't stopping my plans, got too much in my hands
Calicis, spices on my jam, never dropping it bland
Calicis, tears into my wings, cup filled to the brim
Calicis, just me and my friends, never letting y'all in
Calicis, that's it, moonwalkin' like jacksing
On top of the fraction, you healin' it
But I feel different, I'm big, dog, like a mastiff
Have a great day, everyone. We love you
