A busy week, a busy month upcoming, so we'll chat everything about their ecosystem, the game, and then what's going on with the upcoming MXM token.
So give us a second. We'll get this thing all set up. We'll let some people file in here, and then we'll get started.
All right. Awesome. Who am I speaking with behind the MixMob account today?
Hey, Joni. What's up? It's Simon, co-founder and CEO of MixMob. Pleasure to be here, my friend.
Yeah, very nice to have you up here. I think, like I said, you'll have a lot going on, so a lot to dig in today. Excited for that.
100%, 100%. I see that Jorge's here. Jorge, my friend. How's it going, man?
Yo, yo, yo. I am excited for today's space. I heard we are dropping alpha, but before we drop alpha, I need everybody in this crowd.
If you really want us to get juicy and just tell you everything, retweet the space, like the space, share it with your friends, share it with your grandmother, share it with your ex-girlfriend.
I don't care where she's at. Send it to her. If she's on a movie date, even better. Send it to her and tell her, join now, because we're going to do life-changing money calls, token calls, whatever you want to hear.
We got it all. I'm excited for today's space.
I know Jorge well enough to know. That's like a three-coffee-deep hype voice. I don't know. Correct me if I'm wrong, Jorge, but two or three.
One large cold brew, a monster, and just cracked another one, so I'm ready to go.
Wow. Okay. Man's got a long day, apparently, if he's cracking two monsters. All right. That's a different animal right there, but let's go ahead and dive into this thing.
I think, you know, with the essence of time at mind to try to squeeze in as much as we can in this hour session, I want to send it over to the MixMob account and let you kind of just maybe give a quick TLDR for anyone who doesn't know what you've been building in the ecosystem or what exactly MixMob is.
Can you give, like, a quick TLDR? What is MixMob?
Let's do it, Johnny. Let's do it. So, first of all, before I even start, shout out to everybody that is from MixMob here.
I see all these PFPs. Everybody from the community, it's so good to see you.
So, let's start. For all of you that don't know us, MixMob, or me, I'll start with me, and then, you know, that will transition into MixMob.
My name is Simon. I'm the co-founder and CEO of MixMob.
I've been building and designing games for 15 years, started designing and creating Facebook games, and was lucky enough to be part of one of the fastest-growing games on Facebook at the time.
This gave me a really good, solid process on how to create and develop games fast, at speed.
And through that process, I got a really good opportunity to go to EA to lead the innovation part of FIFA.
And this was just a new department that was just starting to create features faster.
And so, I joined. I worked there for many years.
And then, I got a really good offer, similar situation, but at PokerStars.
And then, I worked there for many years.
And then, I went on to work on other different kind of gaming companies like Lego and Disney.
And then, eventually, went into crypto 2016, and then, never looked back.
And in 2021, we saw what Axie Infinity was doing.
I pinged, you know, my co-founder pinged me, and then, I pinged my other co-founder, which we've been working together for the past 15 years.
And we were like, okay, we can bring some innovation here.
And we started MixMob in June 2021, when it was when we officially kicked everything off.
And just a little bit about MixMob.
MixMob is the world's first card strategy racing game.
Picture Mario Kart meets Hearthstone.
So, the best of racing and the thrilling of an adrenaline-inducing of racing paired with the strategy component and the collectability of cards.
And that's the innovation we're bringing to the space in terms of gaming.
It's something new.
You don't even see that in Web 2.
And we built MixMob like that.
We started with this game because we did a huge interview poll, 2,000 survey, right before we start even the game.
And what we realized is that players wanted something more exciting in crypto games, something that was more synchronous, competitive.
And they also, but they want to retain the collectability and the tradability of cards.
So, we merged those two things because of that.
We launched our first NFT collection in 2021.
We sold out.
And that kicked us, gave us the ammunition to go raise money, kicked off the community.
We raised 7.5 million, which is what's giving us all the ammunition to keep building.
We've been building for two years.
And we are about to be on the most exciting part of our journey, which is our token and MixBot launch.
I'll tell you a little bit about that in a second.
But right now, the cool part is we are in incentivized beta.
What that means is in traditional game development, you have alpha, you have closed beta, and then you have open beta.
But we are in web 3, so we create a new category.
We're calling incentivized beta.
What that means is you can go and play right now.
The game is free, browser-based.
You don't have to download anything.
So, go check it out.
Participate.
Go check the features.
Everything is in crypto, in blockchain.
So, we're keeping track of all the chain activity, and we're going to reward you all.
That's the alpha.
I'll give you more alpha.
But for now, I'll stop there, and I'll pass it back to you, Johnny.
Go check us out, MixComp.io.
Our collection is a magic, Eden.
Turn notifications on, because today is an exciting, important day for us.
Yeah, absolutely.
Now, the enthusiasm up here today is tremendous.
I mean, I love it.
And what's not to be enthusiastic about with everything you guys have in the pipeline?
So, you mentioned there is an incentivized game out there right now.
What does the gameplay loop look like, and how could someone maybe go jump into the game?
And I haven't even had my coffee.
So, Jorge, I'm catching up, man.
This is it.
I'm drinking my coffee right now.
You know, it's early time here, Pacific time.
And, you know, we're getting there, guys.
Let's do this.
So, I'm about to say, I'm going to Uber Eats you right now, a monster, to get you going, man.
I'm excited, man.
Look, people, one of the things, like, you know, MixMob is here.
One of the things that I've been bullish on, and he's going to lead into it, is that in this space, we have been asking for how long for real game developers with real resumes, with real background, with real experience to come into this space.
I mean, it's the talk of the town all the time.
And finally, it's like, okay, great.
Now they're here.
Now the whole space is like, when gameplay, when gameplay, oh, we're going to wait for these big names to, like, hopefully develop.
And, yes, there's a lot of great stuff happening right now.
You have shrapnel.
You have wild card.
You have Dr. Disrespect.
Those are coming, which are very bullish on.
But now MixMob went ahead of the game and said, hey, we're ready to launch.
And to me, like, that's the things that I'm really excited about going into this space right here.
So, again, sorry, Simon, but I just want to let you know why I'm excited and bullish.
No, I love it, man.
And, honestly, you nailed something that is really important before I answer Johnny's question.
Is, you know, I built AAA games before.
I know how long it takes.
I know how much budget you have to put into creating these games.
Plus, even with, you know, ADA and other, I won't say which company right now.
But I was part of a huge, huge budget AAA game development.
And, you know, I'm talking about 50 mil at the time.
And even with that amount of money, the game was not guaranteed to succeed.
And, you know, I had to transition into another part of the company to help another division.
But even with that much money and a huge team, the game wasn't, you know, as successful as the company thought.
And so, it's, you know, creating a AAA game, it's a huge risk.
So, what we've done on MixMob, and with my experience, we said, okay, let's start with a AA game.
Let's validate the IP.
Let's validate the game, the game loop, the economy.
And then, let's see how that does.
Because from there, then we can launch, you know, we can branch into a AAA game once we have all these things validated.
And that's what we've been doing for the past two years.
So, Johnny, back to your question, my friend.
What is the game loop?
So, what we've done is we're doubling down on Web3.
And I remember, just a quick parenthesis on this.
I remember when I was building mobile games and Facebook games, and my friends at console that were developing console games, AAA games at the time, they were like, man, WTF, what are you doing building these, you know, tiny little shitty games?
And I was like, I don't know, guys, like, there's something super freaking special in these, you know, platforms and hardware that allows to create really cool game loops that are not possible in other devices.
So, I wouldn't ditch these things, you know.
And, you know, we doubled down at the time on Facebook and mobile development.
And look at mobile right now.
It's overpass console, right?
Because it creates a new category.
It's a new way of gaming.
It has new components, new game loops, and new features.
And we're doing the same with Web3.
So, I'll tell you how it works.
In our game, so, the lore of our game is, what would you do if an AI deleted our culture?
That's the lore.
It ties with the crypto culture perfectly.
And in the story of our game, we masked up.
We created these masks to protect us from facial recognition.
And we built these robots to go fight the AI.
But before we fight the AI, we raise these robots.
So, you know, when I said Mario Kart meets Hearthstone, instead of Karts, we've raised robots.
And these robots, what you do with them is you can go into different arenas with these robots, like different tracks, for example.
But here's the crypto, the Web3 crypto component, which is pretty cool.
We have a free mode, but we also have a high risk mode.
So, you put an anti down.
So, Johnny, let's say you want to raise with Jorge.
So, you go into the arena and you put an anti down, some crypto, and make them take 10%.
So, immediately, that's already a sustainable business model.
You guys get the 90%, the rest of the 90%.
So, you guys are fighting for that.
So, that's part one.
So, you're racing.
You're climbing the leaderboard.
It's super exciting.
It's a new game mode, like new game mechanics that you don't see on Web2.
And then, from there, you can actually, we build this for the community.
You can go and watch and bet.
So, I can go and watch your guys' races and bet on you guys' crypto, right, which is super fun.
And then, from there, what happens is in a traditional game, like, for example, I play a lot of poker, right?
I'll take my money.
I will win.
First of all, my money will come when I win.
It will take, like, days, if not weeks, to arrive.
And then, it will be hit by, like, 30% fees from all the providers.
But here, you get paid right away.
And then, what happens is instead of taking the money out of the ecosystem, you can stake it on those arenas.
And by staking it on those arenas, you participate on those, you know, that 10% fee we take.
We give up to 30% of that fee back to the arena pools so you benefit from staking in a sustainable fashion.
And then, from there, you're incentivized to refer your friends to those arenas because the more people are on those arenas, the higher the fee, the higher the payout, you know, the higher the staking pool increases.
And then, you get a referral fee for that.
So, at a macro level, that's the loop.
And it's so exciting.
It fits the Web3 component.
And I can go deeper into the mechanics.
But I'll pass there for a second, Johnny.
Back to you, my friend.
I mean, I've jumped into the game.
I know a lot of people within my community have jumped into the game.
And, I mean, it's a really fun game to just be able to hop in and compete against other people, which I think is another element that you guys have that most games don't.
Most games, you really can't do that type of thing right now.
Most games are not player versus player or multiplayer in those circumstances.
So, I definitely love that.
And when you say, like, incentivize game loop at the moment.
So, like, I know you earn things at the end of each race.
Can you describe maybe what some of those things may be the benefits of those in the future?
Yeah, absolutely.
So, we have a free mode where anybody can go play for free, try the game out.
And what we're doing with our tokenomics is we're locating a part of our tokens to give airdrops to those leaderboards.
So, this is what I mean by incentivize beta right now.
Anybody here can go to our website, Maxwell.io, play the game.
It's for, like, you know, free mode.
Climb those leaderboards.
You're ranked right now based on wins.
And so, just go try to win.
Play with our community.
And then climb those leaderboards.
And what happens is even on free mode, you're climbing those leaderboards for airdrops.
So, that's one thing.
The second thing, it's in the game, in the game loop.
Every time you win, you win something that we call glitch pod.
And a glitch pod is like a treasure chest in Hearthstone or in any other game.
And you get currency there, but also you get other collectible rewards.
And those collectible rewards, those NFT rewards, are tradable in Magic Eden.
And if you finish all the collections, you participate also on airdrops as well.
So, you know, at a macro level, that's how it works.
Now, if you play on the ranked arenas, which is the high-risk arenas,
you can up to 10x your entry fee, which is super cool.
So, it's high risk, high reward.
And, you know, the glitch spots and the treasure chest that you open there have higher,
obviously, higher rewards as well.
The leaderboards have higher allocation of airdrops.
And the collections have higher, you know, those have rare collectibles that you collect.
So, and it's, you know, think about this for a second, everybody that's listening.
So, I jumped on Jupiter the other day, the exchange.
And I was like, I had the thrill of doing a trade, right?
And it was exciting, right?
I won't tell you the whole strategy, but he gave me this thrill.
I put some leverage.
And it was exciting, right?
But that was it.
And then, you know, it was cool, da, da, da.
But now, imagine this.
Imagine you have 10 minutes.
You're waiting for a doctor's appointment, whatever.
You jump into MixMob.
And you go into this high-ranked arena, 10x or 5x.
You know, there's different ones.
Right now, it's 2.5x.
And you go there.
You compete.
You have fun, right?
And every time you win, you win part of that anti-back up to 2x.
So, you get the fun of playing.
You get the fun of, you know, gaming.
And, you know, you can risk it at your own skill base, which is the fun part.
Yeah, that's Web 3 right there.
You know, the risk.
But it is skill-based risk.
So, it's not considered, you know, gambling under the legal scope, which I think a lot of projects also have an issue with.
The lack of skill-based games in the space that are just more like click and simulate based on your character's, you know, traits.
So, I do love that aspect as well.
And coming from the esports side, you know, I used to do wager matches against people all the time.
Like, 2v2s, 4v4s, and everyone puts up an ante and you're competing against each other.
I do see that as a big thing.
And I'm a huge fan of the future of risk-based esports within the space.
So, like, esports is a hard model to crack.
And even the biggest esports leagues in the world, for the most part, they don't make money.
Like, the biggest esports organizations, maybe like the Optics and the Phase, they make money because of their brand.
But if you legitimately aren't the best team, it's really hard to sustain that model.
But the ecosystem underneath it of players that compete against each other and do wager matches and tournaments that are a lot more sustainable when it comes to the model that they run on,
I see that as a huge opportunity.
So, I definitely love that.
And I've been seeing you throwing up the hearts.
So, I think you probably agree with that.
A hundred percent.
A hundred percent, Johnny.
And, you know, we just – esports.
This game is designed with esports in mind.
And the cool part is we've been building for two years, validating it.
We had our first big esports event two months ago.
We had 4,000 viewers.
We have over 500.
Like, I think it was like 600 bets going on.
We had a bunch of content creators come play, had a great time.
And then this literally happened this Sunday.
We cut the wave of G2 Esports.
And through our Solana partnership, they're one of our investors.
They were like, hey, we want to stream Mixemob.
And, you know, the game looks super fun.
And we had G2 Esports, which is the biggest or one of the biggest esports organizations and teams in the world.
I believe they have like 1.5 million followers on Facebook.
They stream our game, man.
It was so surreal.
It was so cool.
The streamer, Thais, was having such a good time.
He pinged me later.
He DMed me.
He's like, dude, this was so fun.
Yeah, thanks for, you know, building this.
And it was so cool.
So esports is huge for us.
And here's the fun part and something that I'm super bullish about what we're doing with Mixemob and our MXM token.
So our MXM token not only unlocks, you know, the crypto, full crypto experience of our game, but it also unlocks our MXM league.
And what that means is you as a holder of MXM, you own the league.
And what that means is you can participate on the next event, vote on where the next event is, the prize pool, the tournament rules.
You can also, let's say, Johnny, let's say you are amazing at content creation, for example, right?
And not for example, you are amazing at it, right?
So then you go into our DAO, into the league's DAO, and you're like, hey, DAO, I'm going to, I need X amount of budget to create content for the league.
And, you know, this is what I'm going to do.
Let's do it.
And then the league votes, and then Johnny can participate in the league by being a content creator.
Simon can participate in the league by, you know, voting on different rules and tournaments, et cetera.
Like, we all own this league, and it kicks off, A, the transparency of leagues, which, you know, we all know.
Like, I'm a big soccer, football fan, and, you know, we all know how corrupt and opaque FIFA is.
And then, so it unlocks that.
And the second thing, it unlocks user-generated content.
So I'm with you, my friend.
Esports is huge, and user-generated content is huge.
But back to you, my friend.
And I think y'all are hitting the nail on, oh, Jorge dropped off here.
I'll bring him back up here.
But I think y'all are hitting the nail on the head when it comes to that side of it.
And I want to ask, like, obviously, Solana heated up so hard over the last couple of months, and that goes without saying.
What was the initial decision for you guys?
Because I think y'all are building primarily on Solana, if I'm not mistaken.
Yeah, we've been building Solana for two years, and it was our first choice.
You know, remember, 2021, the options were Ethereum, other kind of, like, early chains, or Solana.
And, you know, I've built actual, like, I've downloaded the Ethereum.
You know, I have nodes on Ethereum.
I've built on Ethereum before.
And it's such a pain, man.
I can't tell you.
So when we kick-started Mixed One, I was like, no, it's got to be something.
It's got to be Solana.
Once I dove into the tech and how it works and how fast it was, I was like, no, it has to be Solana.
So we went into Solana for, you know, fast transactions, gas, cheap gas, et cetera, and also for the tech, right?
And when all of this stuff happened, we, man, we were like, holy shit.
And, but the thing that kept us inside of the Solana ecosystem was a couple of things.
A, the community, man.
The community is crazy good in Solana.
B, Tully and Raj, the co-founders of Solana, they pinged us.
And they're like, guys, let's chat.
We want to support you, anything you need.
They looked so tired, man.
But they were like, you know, just there supporting the projects.
So massive respect from that.
And then we were like, you know, our investors were like, hey, multi-chain, let's go, let's go.
And I was like, no, we, we're not going to go multi-chain because let's, let's, let's build a Rolex first.
Let's build a great game, web pre-game first on this chain.
And then we can go multi-chain, whatever.
But like, we just need a really good game.
If I start going multi-chain, like the UX, the, it just dilutes so many different efforts.
And I just, I just want to build a Rolex of this category.
You know what I mean?
Like, we want to be number one of this category.
And it doesn't have to be a zero-zum.
All I'm saying is on this category, we just want to build a Rolex of this.
And then they understood.
And we stayed.
And now look, look where we're at now.
Like Solana is, by our predictions, the chain to develop games is fast.
Like, I've tried other ones.
Like, I've, we looked into Polygon.
We looked into Immutable.
Like, all of them.
And at the end, I was like, no, it's got to be Solana fast.
And that's why we're still here.
And it's honestly, like, when you go to a game, you're doing a lot of transactions on the chain.
And you don't even know.
Yeah, absolutely.
I mean, Solana is obviously carving their way in the space to be one of the, you know, people are saying, you know, the Ethereum of the next cycle.
And I don't quite disagree.
I think that that's definitely possible.
So, I agree with that sentiment for sure.
We're almost halfway through the hour here.
So, let's shift gears to, obviously, we know, I mean, the ecosystem itself right now is quite impressive.
But the big thing going on right now is the anticipation for the MXM, the MixMob token.
So, we'll kind of go over a few key points here.
First of all, what's going to be, like, the utility?
And why should, like, someone inside the game deem MXM as desired within the ecosystem?
The reason I ask is because, you know, most games just do a token.
But it's not really integrated into any core part of the game.
That's like a sustainable method.
So, what exactly is the MXM token?
And where are going to be the utilities within the ecosystem?
Yeah, I agree.
I agree, Johnny.
There's a lot of, there is a lot of games that, or not even, but like any, like people that launch a token without truly thinking about how integrating to the project.
And for us, MXM is the token that unlocks the MixMob League and unlocks a lot of things, unlocks our revenue sharing.
So, when you go into these arenas and you stake, you stake MXM.
And by staking MXM, you are in that arena.
You're unlocking its arena revenue sharing system, which then, like I mentioned in the previous conversation, was we, from that rake, from that 10% rake, we give 30% back to the staking pool of that arena.
Now, here's the cool part.
We have the top guilds as part of our investors and supporters, Merit Circle, YGG, and Avocado Guild, just to name a few.
And the idea here is when we're ready, this is coming very soon, we're going to unlock these guilds arenas.
So, Merit Circle is going to have its own arena inside of the MixMob ecosystem.
In order to do that, they have to stake MXM, they unlock that arena, and then they can craft the rules of that arena.
So, for example, instead of saying, hey, we're going to give 30% back to the staking pool, they can say, hey, we want to give 40% of our revenues to the staking pool because we want to make it more attractive and gain people, we call player liquidity, to that arena.
Now, they can also say, instead of three labs, it's going to be one lab.
And instead of three cards, it's going to be four cards.
You know, like, they can change the rules of that arena and making it attractive for other players, but that gets unlocked with MXM, right?
And so, at a player level, you're unlocking with MXM the revenue sharing of the arenas.
At a team level or organizational level, you're unlocking arenas with MXM.
And at a player team level, you can create teams inside of the esports organization through staking MXM.
So, let's say, Jorge, Johnny, Simon, we want to create a team inside of the MixMob MXM League.
Well, we stake MXM, we stake some of our NFTs.
That is the pool that we have.
And then we start competing inside of these arenas and we form the team.
So, the MXM token unlocks the MXM League, unlocks the esports component, the teams, unlocks the organizational parts of it, unlocks revenue sharing for leagues, for teams, for organizations.
It unlocks the referral rewards.
You're incentivized to refer people to your arena.
So, let's say we like the MixMob Arena.
We're going to incentivize people to go there because the more we stake and the more people we bring there, the higher the payout is going to be.
And then it unlocks the governance of the MXM League.
Okay, got it.
I like the different intricacies within the ecosystem, especially, you know, some of the things that are just baked right into the gameplay.
And obviously, the revenue sharing is super exciting.
I think for anyone who sees the potential in the ecosystem or in Web3 Gaming, obviously, getting a piece of that pie is possibly a pretty lucrative proposal.
So, I know, like, right now there's, like, what is it?
It's like the pre-sale packs or something like that.
Can you describe kind of, like, how that process works and, like, how could someone get involved with this on an early stage?
Yeah, so, here's the Alpha Johnny, exclusive to you, my friend.
I know you know Jorge.
Jorge is a good friend.
So, this is exclusive to these spaces.
If you own a mask, our Gen Zero masks, that I mentioned early on, which we launched in 2021, December 2021.
If you own one of those masks, you are, you can participate on our pre-sale.
Now, there's different ways to participate in our pre-sale.
We're making it really, really interesting.
But here's the Alpha for you and for everybody that is listening.
Today, nobody knows this, not even the community, but they're about to know this.
So, everybody that's listening to here, here's the Alpha.
Today, we are unlocking the first phase of this pre-sale.
Now, you need to own a mask, but not only that, but you need to go to our Discord and get the OG, get the Gen Zero role by registering your mask through Matrika.
Once you do that, once you verify your mask, our NFT through Matrika in our Discord, you're going to get a Discord role.
Only people that have that Discord role will be able to participate on the pre-sale today.
It's starting today.
Now, if you don't do that and you're like, I don't know, I'm thinking about it.
Well, end of this week, I won't say exactly when or exactly what time, but end of this week, there's going to be another pre-sale section of our pre-sale where if you just own a mask, you'll be able to participate on that pre-sale component of it.
But you have to be whitelisted.
Those are the two things that need to happen.
So, you heard of here first, friends.
Today, if you own a mask and you register that mask through Matrika on our Discord, you will be able to participate.
And these people, these are our OGs.
These are like, they have been in our community for two years.
And we're giving them the best, best deal up to 30% if you buy two or more packages.
So, it's a really good deal.
And the way the packages work is we're bringing another innovation into the space.
Instead of doing a token launch like traditional protocols do, we're doing a package, an NFT and token package.
And the best analogy I can give you, Johnny, is, I don't know if you remember this.
I was a big Transformer fan.
And when I was a kid, I would go to the store.
I would be so happy.
It was a toy store.
I'll see my Transformer.
I'll pick it up in a box.
It was so cool.
So, I'll go home, I'll open it, I'll transform it.
And then in the box, there was, you know, let's say a little brochure, a little pamphlet.
And it was like, claim your in-game coins.
And you go online, transformers.com, whatever.
You put the code and you get like the tokens.
Well, we're bringing that nostalgia into this token launch.
So, you go, you get your Mixbot, which is the robots that you raise in the game.
They have massive utility in the game.
They have different speeds.
They have different attributes.
They have different powers.
There is two different categories.
And not only that, but they have different factions.
So, it gets super strategic.
They're super cool, these robots.
You should see them.
And then not only you open it and you craft it, but then you get the equivalent of the cost in MXM tokens.
So, it's a whole experience.
And this is something new.
We're bringing to the space and we're super pumped.
And today, you can participate, but only if you have a mask.
And registers it and you verify it on Discord.
Let me just say something real clear.
This is not the alpha I told them to say.
So, now you guys are going to get more alpha than scripted.
I was hoping he was going to give you the token date sale.
So, Simon, might as well give that alpha out while you're at it and make it my job harder.
You know what, Jorge?
This is my job.
I am the alpha extractor, okay?
We're going to get the alpha one way or the other.
So, don't hold him back now.
Let him cook.
You know, this is the recorded show.
So, I guess maybe I got to start doing a better job of scripting this stuff.
Simon, take it away.
Give us the dates now.
Hey, when the bullet train goes, there's no stop, my friend.
You know how it goes.
So, last bit of alpha for everybody here.
Johnny, I appreciate you, my friend.
Jorge, the script went down the toilet, but we keep going, my friend.
So, another piece of alpha.
And not a lot of people know this.
Early January, more specifically, and to be honest, to be discussed and confirmed,
but very likely, January 11th is going to be our launch, you know, full sale.
And that's going to be open to the public.
Anybody can participate there.
And we're giving whitelist.
There's going to be a whitelist component to it.
And so, you know, if you're still on the fence, that's your last chance to get these packages
and to participate in this exclusive experience.
All right.
So, here's one more alpha.
I just pinned to the space.
We haven't made, no one knows about this, but we picked up an S1 Neo Tokyo to be part of the Neo Tokyo community.
And I figured what's best as you and Johnny and you, you and I are both citizens to kind of release this information here
and, you know, get the crowd kind of rallied up with what's happening behind the scenes.
I really can't talk too much behind the scenes, but I think everybody knows what's coming.
Yeah, yeah.
All right.
So, we just got the deal that if you have the mask, go get verified in Discord and get that roll.
And you could potentially, if you get those packs today, you're eligible for the pre-sale.
Maybe not confirmed, but semi-confirmed.
January 11th was the day that was dropped to potentially have that maybe not confirmed, but semi-confirmed pre-sale date.
And then also picking up an S1.
So, all right.
Well, that was 12 minutes ever since I said, let's get into the weeds on the MXM token.
And I think the alpha per minute here has been very solid, to say the least.
Johnny, that's how we do it.
You are the master of this, man.
You got us.
You got the alpha.
I, you know, this is not an extraction game mode, but I am the extractor right now.
So, let's keep it flowing.
So, explain these packs.
So, like, people might be hearing about the packs for the very first time.
What exactly, you know, what's the price points on these?
And what kind of access to the pre-sale do those give you?
So, the way the packs work is the pack costs, I'll tell you the cost right now.
It's $250.
It costs $250 to get the pack.
Now, here's the exciting part.
The exciting part is what you get is you get your unique Mixbot NFT, which is the robot you raise.
And it has really cool components.
Like, the whole experience is super cool.
You open the pack.
You get a cartridge and a robot.
You merge those two.
And then you get your Mixbot.
They have different attributes, factions, categories.
There are mutants.
There are mechas.
So, it's super fun.
Like, just that alone, it's super fun.
But you not only get that, you get those robots also.
It's not just a pretty picture with attributes.
You can go and play those robots in the game.
And they give you different play styles.
Ones have more speed.
Ones have more durability.
Because when you're racing, you're also battling against each other with health.
Some others have more willpower.
So, they're, you know, easier to drive and maneuver.
And so, they have different, you know, attributes.
And each Mixbot has its own power.
So, to sum it up on the NFT side, you get a beautiful NFT with a beautiful experience.
Super fun.
But it's not just an NFT.
It has tons of utility in the game.
Because the game is super strategic.
So, you get to play it in the game.
You get to see it.
It's super accessible, the game.
You get to strategize with your Mixbot.
Like, it's like the Mario Kart in Mario Kart, right?
Like, it's your kart in Mario Kart.
But then, that alone should be worth, like, you know, the price.
You know, we get these PFPs, these pictures.
You know, we just got an S1.
Like, never mind, you know, the cost of that.
But, like, you get this beautiful NFT that has utility in the game.
And because we're doing this experience as a unique experience, you get the cost of that in MXM.
And the MXM is our governance token.
You get the equivalent.
Those $250, you're going to get $250 worth of MXM.
And we just went through the, like, you know, the MXM utility.
But here's the cool part.
To reward our OGs and partners, we're giving them, and this is part of this pre-sale, we're giving them a 15% to 30% discount depending on how many packages you buy.
And, oh, sorry, not discount, bonus.
Sorry, it's a bonus.
So, if you buy two packages or more on top of that $250, you're going to get 30% more MXM.
And so, that's the beauty part of our pre-sale.
And this is a way to thank our OGs, a way to thank our partners, and to leak this alpha only on certain groups that are important to us, that are part of our network, like Johnny, like you, my friend.
And I'll pause there for a second.
Let me know if you have more questions there.
I mean, I'm loving the detailed answers.
I mean, I feel like at least if it's a confusing concept to people, you've been doing a really good job of kind of laying that out in an easy-to-digest format.
So, I applaud you for that.
And, yeah, so the token, it'll be on Solana.
Obviously, if the pre-sale is the 11th, would you say shortly after that TGE, or, you know, no dates asked here, but, like, when would you expect the TGE, the timeline potentially after the pre-sale?
So, the cool part is we are calling this that's happening today, this week, the pre-sale.
Then, on January 11th, we're calling that the public sale.
Now, to get the token out, what I can tell you in a bit of alpha here is right after that, there are a couple of really cool things that we're cooking.
And the alpha is we're talking to the top three exchanges, centralized exchanges out there.
These are, you know, top, top, top, and they love what we're doing.
And we're working out something really cool with them for the token.
But not only that, we also want to be part of, obviously, the decentralized ecosystem.
So, we already are in partnerships with Orca and Jupiter.
And so, that is also brewing at the same time.
So, there are different ways in which this can go that I won't release right now.
But I'm just telling you, giving you that alpha, that right after the sale, which is potentially, you know, not 100% confirmed, but almost kind of confirmed, January 11th, we're going to move really quickly with these partners.
Okay, awesome.
All right, that's good to know.
I figured it would be pretty quickly after the pre-sale.
So, and I just want to clear this up because I'm kind of monitoring my Discord here while we're doing this.
So, the process for today.
So, what do people, if there's a call to action today, what is that process that they need to go through?
So, the mask, the pre-sale pack, et cetera.
Can you lay it out kind of maybe in like a call to action format?
Because I think that's the one thing I'm getting asked quite a bit about.
Yeah, for sure.
So, the three key call to actions and alpha calls here right now are participate in our incentivized beta by playing the game.
Even for free, we're keeping track of all of this.
And it's called incentivized beta because we have an airdrop allocation to everybody that participates in the ecosystem.
So, go play the game.
MixBot.io, go play it for free on browser.
You don't have to download anything.
It's as accessible as it gets by design.
So, go play it.
That's the first call to action and alpha that we're launching here.
Second, we have a pre-sale of our MXM token and MixBot package happening today.
That's the second alpha that is only you know, Johnny, and everybody that's here that's happening.
It's opening today.
To access it, go buy a Gen Zero mask right now.
Go to our Discord and verify it through our Metrica integration and get your Gen Zero role.
Now, like, that's it.
And obviously, turn notifications on on our Discord and our Twitter so you know exactly what's happening, what's cooking.
Because today, we're opening that part of the pre-sale.
Third, everybody that plays the game will benefit through not only just playing different features, but also through going through our leaderboards.
So, if you go test the game and you're like, dude, you're going to get some airdrops, but if you want to get more, climb those leaderboards because the higher you are, the more airdrops you're going to get.
And those are the call to actions, three alpha call to actions that you need to do right now, obviously, on top of turn your notifications on, on our Twitter, on our Discord, and just go check us out at MixMot.io.
All right. Absolutely. So, I think that was a good summary there as far as what to take action on today.
And just to clear it up, too, it's on Magic Eden. What's the collection? Is it just MixMob or what's the collection name for people to be able to search up?
Yeah, go to Magic Eden and search MixMob.
We have a bunch of collections, but the main collection is called MixMob Gen Zero.
Okay. Got it. MixMob Gen Zero. You can head over there, check out those, and then get involved with the pre-sale packs and get that alpha from today and put it to work. That sounds good.
Is there anything I haven't covered? I feel like we have covered a lot of ground in this space here.
So, is there anything that you guys wanted to hit on that I maybe didn't ask?
I feel like I did a good job, like I said, getting the alpha out of this space for the audience here.
But anything that maybe you guys had on the agenda to cover that I didn't hit?
No, I'm ready to mute Simon, man. I mean, this is not part of the script. The guy's giving out the whole marketing strategy here, man.
Horry, I'm unscriptable, my friend. I told you. I just go, man.
And especially in things like this with Johnny, you know, this awesome community, you got to go unscripted, my friend.
And this is the place, Johnny. You are the alpha extractor. I have to agree with that.
The only thing that I'll add is we just, last week, we launched our white paper and light paper.
We've been cooking this for two years. We've been validating our theses, our hypothesis.
We didn't launch it by design, by the way, because we wanted to validate, A, is our game fun and the mechanics that we have fun?
And we validated that right like three months after we started building, just to give you some context here, we launched our first prototype of our game to our community holders, NFT holders.
And we wanted to validate if the game was fun.
We got from 5000 NFTs and at the time it was like 50 percent of them held our NFT, like 95 percent of them went, tested the game.
Tons of them gave us feedback and they were like, holy shit, this is actually a lot of fun.
And remember, this was three months after it was the game was rough.
And we were like, OK, heck, yeah, this new concept resonates.
It makes sense. We got tons of feedback.
Then the next validation was the economy.
We were like, OK, does our economic model make sense?
Bringing real money frameworks and DeFi, does this make sense?
So we launched a soulbound token.
This was an innovation at the time.
And nobody, I still believe not a lot of people in the space are doing this.
But we, our token right now in the game, it's an in-game token like V-Bucks, whatever, but it's on chain and it's soulbound.
So Johnny cannot send it to Jorge.
Johnny can only interact with that token with Mixmo, but it's on chain.
So it has all the transparency of blockchain, et cetera, all the benefits, but it doesn't, it works like as an in-game token.
So we launched that to validate and test.
And, you know, guess what?
We validated that our economic model works and it's sustainable and it makes sense.
And the community loved it.
And now we summarize all these findings in our white paper.
So go check it out.
It's just a scientific paper.
We also built our light paper that it has more graphics and it looks more, it's a summary, nice kind of like graphical summary of it.
We launched that last week.
Go check it out.
And the link is in our medium or in our website.
Go to our Flip Web 2 part of the website.
And it's really exciting.
I would love to see what you think.
If you're on the fence and you want to learn more, that's your go-to.
And we're here for the long run.
We're doubling down on Web 3.
You know, there's a lot of games that are going Web 2.5 and, you know, hiding that they're Web 3.
Our take is similar when we were building Facebook games or mobile games.
This is a category of its own.
And we are freaking going all in on it and using all the new mechanics and unlocking all the cool features that Web 3 brings.
And, you know, that's our stand.
And actually, our marketing campaign, it's called Flip Web 2 because we are about to Flip Web 2.
And we're so excited.
Johnny, thanks so much for having us here, man.
It's been such a pleasure.
Yeah, 100%.
I mean, thanks to Jorge for kind of putting this all together.
And it's been exciting to kind of just see behind the scenes what's going on with Mixed Mob.
And I think this token has, you know, this is my spiel, right?
I cover this all over YouTube and stuff like that.
I truly think at the valuation it's launching at underneath the Solana narrative as well.
I think this has a lot of potential in the future underneath the Solana GameFi ecosystem.
So, obviously, it's never financial advice.
But that's just my honest take.
And I give my non-financial advice over on the YouTube shows as well.
So, I'll see you guys over there in a couple hours.
But it's been a pleasure to have you guys up here and share this alpha.
And really just, you know, I feel like the audience did get a lot out of this space.
And luckily, a lot of things they can go take action on.
And if you guys haven't played the game, go try it out.
Like, genuinely.
I'm not – it's not like a tradition – it's not like a Forza racing game, the one that's live right now.
But it's more just like a – I would call it like a hyper-casual but competitive racing game with different elements, power-ups, et cetera.
That I think if you hop in with a friend, you're going to have a great time doing so.
Yeah, luckily for you, you don't have to race me because I know that you don't want to meet me on the tracks.
But, hey, man, anytime you want to smoke, let me know.
I'm ready.
You know, that's funny.
I mean, Simon, this guy, this guy, we hopped into a racing simulator over in Miami at Art Basel this last week.
I don't know if Jorge completed lap number one, bro.
I think he crashed like immediately, and I'm serious.
Did you complete a lap, Jorge?
The computer got frozen.
It jammed, bro.
You did the typical – you did the typical gamer.
You unplugged my internet connection.
You know that you unplugged my internet connection so you wouldn't race me.
No, I was just cruising, man.
I was Max Verstappen out there, and you were like a Formula 10 driver, bro.
You were F10.
I just think we were in a different league, bro.
Maybe we will have to match up on MixMob.
You are – you know, you're on the inside scoop.
Maybe you'll whoop me on this one, but race number one was in favor of me.
Guys, we got to solve this dispute on MixMob.
There's a race here cooking.
We'll stream it on MixMob, on live.mixmob.io.
We'll go bet.
No excuses.
This is it.
Winner wins forever.
I think this – who's writing this down?
I'm writing this down.
Jorge, let's do this, man.
Fuck the script.
Hey, man, and we can place bets on it.
I know the whole TTO community right now is going to put their bets on me because they want to make sure that –
it's easy 2X return.
I mean, come on.
All right, all right.
Well, I heard this too before I whooped them in Miami, so it looks like I'm going to have to hit a round two here and just see what we can do.
We'll definitely put this together, some good fun, some good entertainment, some good competition, and it's all love.
I love my guy, Jorge, but when I meet him on the track, he is not a friend of mine.
I like it.
I like your strategy, my friend.
I'll coach you.
And on that note, just to end this, I'll tell you this.
Solana has been so supportive, and one really cool part of our Solana partnership, you know,
that one of our investors is probably the biggest Solana figure in the space.
I'm not saying, like, inside of Solana.
I'm just saying in crypto, the biggest Solana personality, it's coming to play our game tomorrow.
And we're going to stream it, and it's going to be huge.
Like, I'm just talking, like, almost Vitalik, you know, status.
I won't say any more, but come tomorrow, turn your notifications on, because it's going to be huge.
This person is going to play the game, stream it.
We're going to stream it in our platform, and we're going to be able to bet on this person.
Whoever beats this person is going to get one of our packages, and it's going to be so fun.
It's going to be huge for us.
So I'll leave it at that, Johnny.
How's that for more alpha?
Yeah, yeah, that's perfect.
So that goes down tomorrow?
Just everybody turn notifications on.
We're going to leak the date, the exact hour.
But it's tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow.
Thursday, Pacific time, Pacific time, in the afternoon.
Jorge, fuck the strip.
Okay, okay.
We got all the alpha, but we can't get a time.
All right, all right.
Well, follow the MixMob account.
That's their job.
That's their job.
We have to follow for more updates.
I can't get all the alpha here today, boys.
Follow the MixMob Twitter account for real.
They have a lot going on over the next month, I would say.
Yeah, almost right on the dot of a month until that pre-sale date that you dropped earlier.
So shoot them a follow.
Shoot Jorge a follow.
He's working with MixMob closely, and he does amazing work in this space as well.
And a big shout-out to all of you guys in the audience that sat through, absorbed all the alpha, maybe took some notes.
And I know we got some action takers, because I see in my Discord some people went and made some scoops during this space.
So guys, thanks so much for joining me.
And if y'all want to close it out with a few words, go ahead, and then we'll wrap this thing up.
Yeah, I love it.
Thanks for having us, Joni.
It's been a pleasure.
This is so fun.
Jorge, thanks for arranging.
Guys, if Jorge doesn't answer, it's because he's training for Joni's and Jorge's competition on MixMob.
So be patient with him.
I think he's nervous right now.
But, Jorge, I'll coach you, man.
Don't worry.
And fuck the script.
Y'all heard it here.
He's about to get training from the top level.
All right.
All right.
All right.
All right.
Joni, I'll train you too, my friend.
You know, I love this space.
I love your community.
So let's do it, man.
All right.
There we go.
Now we're on and even playing field boys.
I'm back to the betting favorite.
I think Jorge, you know, he's really considering this because he's not even speaking.
So, but I'm letting him have his time.
This is his community.
I don't want to, like, embarrass him or anything.
This is his community.
Like, he has to show up every day and tell them, you know, he lost to Jorge.
Like, I don't want to put any more on that.
Like, poor guy.
So, so for all you guys, thanks for tuning in.
I appreciate everybody that came today to today's show.
As you all know, Johnny always gets the exclusive knowledge, the exclusive alpha, and we wanted
to make sure we shared it with you guys.
You guys are always a big supporters of everything we do.
And again, thank you very much.
Have a great day.
All right.
We will see you guys on the next spaces.
And I'll be live on YouTube in 90 minutes if you're going to head over there.
So I will see you all there.
As always, y'all have a great day.
Thanks to the audience for sticking through.
Thanks to our amazing guests.
Give them a follow.
And we'll see y'all next time.
Thanks, everybody.
