Cheesh! Cheesh!
That's Terry on Tap.
It's actually just called Cherry.
Spotify, Jesse Roper.
He's from my city here. hell of a tune that one actually
quite like that man fuck monday morning the markets are bloody i guess most of that blood
came yesterday for bitcoin by the looks of it uh like i was talking about last week too if we
you know we lost that major support at 86K, in my opinion.
And then we had a little bounce at 80,000.
There was a little block of volume there.
Since dumped that out, we're sitting 78.8 right now after hitting into 74.
I think the low was 75, 74 range approximately for the low.
Like I said, if we lost 80, 80 000 it was going to get more bloody
uh that's what happened more pain in the market and now seeing that bounce so what i see now like
i've been watching the weekly chart i know a lot of people like to trend on these shorter time
frames and and get all bullish hype and make you think that everything's gonna come back to a win
immediately uh but what's happening i've been watching the weekly chart. So the weekly chart gave out that support.
Closed yesterday.
Monthly closed underneath this support.
And now we're going to retest that support as resistance to see if we confirm further bearish price action.
Or if we can get back on top of this.
Now, what is now resistance?
Get back on top of that. flip that into support and carry on.
But I don't necessarily think so,
and I don't see any reason for it to do so in any short time frame.
So, you know, like I said, we could still see some more pain yet
before this thing gets going.
There's a big window of just open kind of air on the volume chart
between here and, say, maybe as low as mid-60s here, 67K.
So, yeah, that's what I'm going to say about the markets.
And if you've really cared and paid attention, you would have known that, you know,
well beyond what is sitting in the entire crypto market was swept out of precious metals.
Silver is behaving like Bitcoin or even worse, to be honest.
It fell 35% in 24 hours, which is far worse than anything Bitcoin has done.
So it's like, I'm not going to begin to say I'm smart enough to what's going on,
what the pressure geopolitical events is that's causing uh these massive market
swings but um you know gold gold may continue to outperform i believe it probably will silver
though to me it's like if this just created demand more demand for silver it's like people will
invest in it now that there's more demand they'll pull some more out of the ground and there's no
reason for it to just fucking run to a thousand dollars an ounce for no like just because so it's
like i feel like a lot of people were sold that hype at this level you know what i mean they ran
in there ran to a hundred retested it ran to 120 i think 121 dollars and we're now down $77 today. Like that's 40% swings on silver is just, it's crazy.
It's disgusting.
5,000 year old, you know what I mean?
Like it just doesn't make any sense.
So now that there's also demand for it,
people have some money they pulled out of it.
They can invest in mining it and get that supply up again too.
So, you know, I don't know.
I could see gold still being a big player there,
but, you know, I'm just a Bitcoin guy myself.
So that's where I'm going to continue to stack.
Yeah, like I said, there's probably more pain coming.
And so far it has been.
And if you listen to some of the recorded spaces I did from last year,
and I wasn't popular around that time either.
Like March, April last year, I was saying, like, i i we again we we had the run to the high but that was what printed this big giant
negative divergence on the weekly that i talked about for almost a year if you paid it like i
said if you paid attention to those other spaces but um you know it's it's playing out and it play
it's playing out over a longer period of time but uh we had extended the the charts in the market
so there was no room to to really continue much higher and sure enough uh pain is what has been
brought upon us it's funny how crazily bullish a lot of crypto spaces still are and think like
i don't know man like there's people like the space has just been selling hype for fucking
since like the 2018 altcoin market run, and nothing has happened.
And I just, fuck it.
It's wild to see.
So, anyway, man, I'll stop rambling about that.
T-Bone, man, how are your thoughts?
What are you feeling this morning?
How are you doing?
When have you ever been popular, bro?
Like, you know.
Yeah, thanks, buddy.
I was just joking, man.
You always seem to be the bad guy, man.
Everybody's always calling you the bad guy.
But, you know, if you wait long enough, you end up being right.
TA doesn't work, though.
Everyone fucking hates the TA guy.
Yeah, exactly.
Everybody hates reality.
Let's just live in the fantasy world.
You know what I mean?
It's a lot funner.
It's way more fun to live in the fucking fantasy world and think that you're gonna land on the moon one day you know what i mean like
there's footprints and an american flag on the moon somewhere and everyone thinks they're gonna
fucking end up there and sign it it's crazy crypto is not a place for nice people i've figured that
out it's like you have to be ruthless killer bro I feel like you know the thing is is like it you know spaces are really fucking like I really like spaces
Because they do give us an ability that no other app and platform guys
I'm like I know a lot of people want to complain about X and this and that but like
What where else can you go and connect like this in a space and just converse share opinions share ideas?
Grow together network whatever like on the
app 10 12 no that's so true right actually actually spaces is kind of like a microcosm of like what
twitter used to be like twitter was the place you would go where you could like potentially have a
conversation with like a celebrity or like a like a sports figure like anybody and you still can
there was random like there's random
people talking to celebrities or celebrities popping into places at different times you know
what i mean and like are you still in the matrix there nba what the fuck um yeah yeah and you know
and like not a massive celebrity but i fucking i got to have a conversation with Ghostface Killa and tell him how my buddy stole my fucking 36 Chambers cassette tape in the 90s.
Did you ever think you would talk to him in your life, bro?
No, absolutely not.
Of course not.
And 14 years later, my buddy moved back from the other province and had my cassette tape still.
And I got to tell Ghost about that story.
So, like, that's crazy to me.
You know what I mean?
Like, X does a lot of things for people that a lot of apps can't.
And, like, aside from whatever the complaints we want to have,
that it's not comparing with the other apps, right?
So, I'm still pretty slow.
Just to address what you just said about the cassette,
I think everybody that, if you're of a certain age,
if you were around during the time of tape cassettes everybody had everybody had at least one cassette stolen from them or
something you know what i mean like there was always some i you know what i mean like
stole your cassette or you're like yeah i remember my car got broken into and my book of cds like my
binder full of cds got stolen and i was choked like that was like oh dude remember when
that that was like devastating i remember one time um dude i was choked like that was like oh dude remember when that that was like
devastating i remember one time um dude i was on the highway and i was blasting music and i had the
cd case up on the dashboard and had the windows down and i like made a turn and it flew out
the window bro just went off the dash right out and i like almost was gonna like i was almost
gonna like get myself killed like pull over in
the middle of highway to go get that you know what i mean like that's how much i cared about it
and now it just doesn't even exist you know what i mean like the shit that you'll die over bro
you know what i mean it's like 20 years later it doesn't even exist yeah yeah it's weird man and
like you know yeah for me like man, I don't know.
I guess I'm trying to be more involved.
You're like doing these spaces again, be more accountable, like be more a part of this.
But like, I enjoy, I enjoy the time.
Like, I really like being in places that make me forget about my phone.
You know what I mean?
Like as much as, as much as possible.
But at the same time, I do want to, you know, give back to the community of artists and talent that give me what I
You know get out of acts, you know what I mean? And that connection, right? So yeah
Just for you, I mean, I'm sure it does for you but like for me spaces
Well, I'm on a space time goes really quick. It's really weird. Like it's like a time warp
Yeah, that's why and it's funny because I've lived in these two worlds right where it's like i've been a you know bitcoin guy for a long
time so i like the crypto conversation but i don't really i don't join them a lot anymore
because it's just gotten really tired so you either get really fucking bored of the conversation
it's dry as fuck because you can only talk about bitcoin so much you know what i mean
unless you like keep it newcomer friendly where you have really fucking you know like like i don't know more of an entertaining environment that attracts a
newcomer to say hey okay what's going on how do we get involved or whatever you know who wants to
hear some guy talk about like he paid off his house and he's got like every four years who
wants to hear that shit yeah yeah no i'm just kidding uh but yeah no but you can do that but
that is the that is the reality with bitcoin is
and as boring as it gets and you don't want to hear that that somebody's already won and you're
sitting there and you haven't won and you don't own any bitcoin or whatever you know what i mean
but also i wouldn't be sitting there taking advice from somebody who only fucking holds
fucking 10 or 20 fucking solana and they've never made any money in bitcoin like that's another
fucking crazy thing out here too like you're listening to people who haven't made money in 10 years well dude i hope you bought your
solana boomer money yeah well i hope you bought your solana phone jewels because uh you know yeah
if you didn't buy it now you're gonna miss out now on my salonophone yeah the future is you're
gonna need a solana phone bro oh you're not gonna i mean like i'm not opposed to having a salonophone someday like i like i i think that there's room for the crypto space to build
but majority of it is like everybody just tried to be the next best bitcoin right like and it's
like no one will invest in the in the reason that this market started everyone says d y o r do your
own research but everyone just no one does any research on anything it's like you
can't tell crypto wouldn't exist without bitcoin you don't honestly you don't hold bitcoin you hold
altcoins and meme coins and you tell me that you've done done the research and like i don't know man
like that's this it's just like i just feel like it's everyone's just trying to take a little bit
of bag from the next person because that's all that you can do out here right it's like did you
ever see the show um where we take each other's money back and forth and joke about it
and remember deadwood bro remember that environment you remember the show deadwood
you remember that shit deadwood uh i didn't watch it no oh my god dude dude deadwood if anybody in
here watch deadwood deadwood is crypto i mean it's literally it's is it like it sounds like an old
western is that what it is or what it's yeah it's kind of that time it's a little bit forward it's
it's more like the gold rush and all that stuff and like these towns that popped up like um because
of gold rush and different things and and um or silver whatever the whatever it was that that town had
you know what I mean that area had and uh it literal like lawlessness like wild west and then
what would happen is like the big money would eventually come in and like fix it like the big
money would be like the bitcoin like some like like railroad tycoon would come in and um you know then that was that like and and i feel like
bitcoin's the railroad tycoon guy is the bitcoin guy you know what i mean and everybody else is
just down there like fighting over like killing each other over every you know what i mean and
then well can you and then you get to like to me i still feel like bitcoin is such a small network
i want to let nba weigh in his suit because he's throwing emojis over but
but uh you know i feel like bitcoin is still such a small network at this point it's a small network
of people with a a solid understanding of what could be you know what i mean and unless we get
into some doomsday talk where the internet goes down and there's no computers and you know what
i mean and like i don't know that's all that's just a crazy conversation to me you know what i mean but um you know it's just still such a small network so it's like
in in comparison to the amount of money that's moving in gold and silver it's really fucking
it's so small at this point so i don't i don't even think it's at this like tycoon point where
like everyone's like oh it's you know and maybe it's being suppressed a little bit in some way
yes like possibly they're trying to slow the gross of this down because it's very disruptive why else would you see precious metals
just triple in like no time flat and they never they don't do that you know what i mean
no it's the perfect analogy if you've seen if you've seen deadwood because you're a tycoon in
that town but like if you're not not back east you know what i mean like you're a tycoon in the
middle of nowhere yeah if you because you come in which it's like being it pop it's like being like
somebody has money and sitting out at the no limit table it just smokes everybody out and didn't they
it wasn't and i haven't paid much attention but did they just tie bitcoin to the epstein
fucking thing in this file jules it's 2026 and they're tying Bitcoin to Epstein.
Yeah, so that's like that, you know,
and it's funny because we talked about this last year.
It's like whether, like what happens first,
the TA or the narratives, right?
So it's like generally, like, I don't know,
money only makes more money if it moves, right?
So they have to rotate liquidity.
So it's like, you've got to find,
find what's exceptionally valuable or scarce invest
in it hold on to it until it has your liquidity rotation and then possibly move on i don't move
on and maybe i'm stubborn that way but like you can see it happen so my gold and then it went to
silver you see some some inflow to copper or nickel or whatever before everything fucking
dumped out but it's like money's always moving to make to to create
more and then there's something that goes on whether it's bombs in the east or fucking the
epstein files come out or whatever that's the reason it actually makes the fucking market
stump out but i'm not i'm just saying that 90 are always going to be taking from the market like
people just think that these things are going to go up and they should stay up and they're upset
when they don't it's like when when you green, you need to fucking learn to be taking profits
and rotating your fucking liquidity out of the markets
so that you have buying power when the markets tank and they always will.
It's like everyone's like, oh, that was the last one.
They got 1.5 trillion.
It's like, oh, shit.
Two months later, oh, shit, they got 3.6 trillion fucking dollars.
You know what I mean?
And then it's like it just keeps happening over and over.
And now we're seeing it happen more often more frequently in larger amounts like 15 trillion dollars out of
the gold it's a precious metal market well dude you know I don't know if it it would totally
actually make sense if Bitcoin was tied to Epstein I'll tell you why real quick I won't go to the big
deep thing most people don't actually know a lot about Epstein.
Most people just associate him with all the stuff that,
all the really super, like, you know, all the sex stuff.
But, like, the dude is, like, a mathematical, like, genius type of dude, right?
a math like a mathematical like genius type of dude right and he got in with like literally was
in with these banker dudes because he attended some the rockefeller school thing for underprivileged
kids blah blah blah so long story short he he if you listen to old interviews of him he'll talk
about the financial system and most like 99 people don't actually understand how it works.
The financial system, the bank, the world banks are based on their net value is based on money that they're earning from interest, not on money they actually have.
So like they, you know, they're they're valued at eight times what they actually have.
So like if they have a dollar, they're valued at eight. But they actually have so like if they have a dollar they're valued at eight but that's on projection on interest coming in right right and there's no
way to beat that like bitcoin would be so most people are trying to like like say you're a
criminal bro right like you can't even make your money disappear like the banks do like the banks
like are playing with literally fake money and I'm not I get it the fiat money's fake but like
it's literally not there like their biggest fear is a run on the is a run on the banks like what
happened in the depression like when people tried to withdraw our money all at once and there's no
money there you know what I mean like and bitcoin's structured to print for another hundred years
you know what i mean like that is such a like it's such a long time frame like
it's it's so far beyond what most of us can you know would fathom on a regular basis you know
even like 10-year horizon like most people can't think of that that's the other thing too it's like
if you had a 10-year horizon on anything that you put your money into instead of a one-year horizon
like you know what i mean like all of a sudden like investing is supposed
to like have a turnaround of six months or one year or something like that because of the crypto
market like everyone's just like gone insane but uh bitcoin's math is it's is structured to print
for another hundred years so it's like that's what i mean it's like its network is so small at this
point that you know it's it's fight fight against whatever you want to call it,
inflation or the monetary policy that we have now is just a much longer road.
And it's like maybe it's sound enough to replace it or maybe it's not.
But either way, people will collect it for another hundred years
just because it's fucking scarce and it will run out.
They'll want it for their families or whatever the case may be.
Unless, of course, we go back to that doomsday conversation.
So, yeah, I don't know.
Anyway, NBA, man, what's up?
Good morning.
Yeah, good morning.
I just wanted to dedicate the space to CZ.
CZ, we love you. CZ, you are the best. Please pump our bags. This has been work, too. I did this in the space earlier this morning.
You think CZ is hates CZ and he says that we're not having a super cycle because of the fun on the timeline So I'm here to praise CZ CZ. We love you. You are the best. It's it's funny
It's like as much as people wanted to think that four-year cycle was over it
It's still played out. Yeah, just a little earlier, you know, but a little earlier when did it top October 6th
So yeah month a month earlier month and a half earlier than usual
Maybe yeah, no, no, no, we're good chilling. I might get more aggressive with my DCA and Bitcoin
It's a really good time to buy according to past metrics. I ice the mayor multiple
Yeah, I scooped the balance yesterday, but I like I said, I do think this could still confirm this as resistance and
Have some more bearish price action there's just no reason for the market to just turn around and
slam and pump up right like you know don't mba don't spend your money on solana phones like
mighty did don't go out and buy like six of them things dude unless unless whatever family's just
pocketed trillions of dollars no no i I'm taking money from Shiny, apparently.
I'm extracting meme coins.
I'm trading it to acquire more Vine.
Is that why they were mad at you?
Because you flipped the Glizzy chart on them?
So I bought Glizzy at $20,000.
Then I took profit at $40,000, $60,000, $80,000.
I didn't kill the chart.
And Vanity is tracking my wallets and like giving me shit
and i'm like i'm using see what happens when you guys turn into fucking trench fucking mentality
people you start cutting each other's throats in your own community that's crazy it's funny because
he's not in any of these positions and he's like ready to like slip my throat and like I'm buying buy he hates crypto
He hates crypto. Yeah, but then you guys create you guys create a fucking coin about a hot dog
And oh jewels jewels. I got something for you. I saw the damnedest thing yesterday
Someone clipped 10k into glizzy at 30k. It was the wildest shit. I've ever seen it is the most deep
No, no, he locked the court. He locked the coins. Isn't that what did it?
He bought the coins. Yeah, he locked the court. He locked a hundred thousand coins or something
That's what made it go up the slippage and it was and and Jules it was up. It was up
It was up like three seconds and somebody sold of course
What do they you guys got into what 76 K or something?
No, not me. I have like 20 bucks worth
Yeah, so I'm just trying to support
He went for third
I'm just trying to support the community support. I really am
I was making videos
Don't let them fucking get into trench mentality Jules. They hate me when I take profit. They all turn on me.
It hurts my feelings.
We're going to change NBA's name to Bram Stoker.
Don't play musical chairs with fucking NBA.
He's got more money than you, and he'll fucking cheat sooner.
Dude, Vandermeer's all over me, man.
He's like a bulldog, man. He might fly over from wherever the hell he's all over me man he's like a bulldog man he's ready he might fly over from
france uh from from wherever the hell he's out to get you man you know nba the funniest thing is in
the morning when you come into the chat the one chat and nba is like and you just see nba go
they ignore all that the chat turns into india overnight don't just ignore it that's funny
uh you know that's you know You know, it's okay.
It's all good.
Man, just go, what's wrong, baby? What did I do to you
today, you know?
That's funny. Okay, I'm going to
run a track. I want to go stir up another coffee here.
I got my man Thanos sitting
in the fucking lounge down there listening.
This is a song
CryptoCam made a video for.
I produced the instrumental mixes track up. This one's called Candy. This is a song CryptoCam made a video for.
I produced the instrumental mixes track up.
This one's called Candy.
Oh, it's going to take a minute.
Oh, it didn't take a minute. Oh Oh She got the honest flavor, she like an hour later That's just around for paper The traffic was far worse, jump in the car first And it ain't picked but a finger to make the star burst
Huh, taste the wrinkles like she was shittles
In my hand, you break down like peanut brittle
Oh, you ridiculous and easy to chew
Like cherry licorice, your girl's got cookies
Wish condoms, so let me head back in candy pie pie
Like Pest Spences, plus I heard she fall you to death.
So, wreck it.
Yeah, that's my partner.
Don't call Kitty.
Come on, she really gone.
Cause the ticket that you get at the last of me, will it?
I don't have candy.
I don't have candy.
Because I'm sweet, I can't. Oh I hurt my soul like sourpast, yeah. I'm like, watch the snaps to get all up in your guts.
Prince vanilla, p.k., chocolate, then I feel.
There's always room for yellow, girl, I don't give a prop.
Carol on Sunday, okay, you doing just too much.
I mean, you funny there, I hold a pie belly.
She told me, get me big.
Can you leave because the receipts?
I spent some money here.
A few cavities to beat the pause.
Wreck the plastic on the cheek of stick I'm going on
We're plans on traveling and I can wave it loose the course
Now every time we talk she's sick of up with no verlongs
Now everybody getting candy if the price is right
She went from Amos to Amy, Mike and I
And had heroin nurse called she probably insult her to six months
She got married to a child of rain
I call Lousy Oh, so sweet candy. Oh, so sweet. Yeah, it's a good one. I am Thanos to myself. We're going to put out an album probably about a month from now. Should have it all ready to go.
About a month from now, should have it all ready to go.
Anyway, I'm back.
Spun up another coffee here.
Purpose of this show, again, we are here to chat markets.
We're here to chat TA, do market updates in the beginning.
But then get into this music, man.
Between what I do in the music spaces and what I do in Web3,
trying to bridge that gap between the two,
I know there's a lot of people curious from the Web3 side
about the music spaces that we do that they don't come to, and then vice versa.
A lot of people in our kind of Web2 music spaces, I guess, that are interested in the blockchain, the markets, as well as putting their music out in NFTs.
So, yeah, that's why we're here.
Anyway, what's going on?
Still there?
NBA's still there.
Yeah, I'm still here.
T-Bone's still there? Yeah.? NBA's still there. Yeah, I'm still here. T-Bone's still there?
That was a good song.
Yeah, that is a good tune.
I'm going to send Karamia, the co-host, here for those moments.
I'm spooning up coffees and things.
Good morning, Karamia.
Oh, she's not up here.
Mella B's down there.
What's up, Mella B?
Mella B's down there. N down there nuts nuts is in the fucking
building oh that guy's uh he's a beauty uh dude rose nose i could see everybody thanks for popping
in thanks for popping in i think i like it when there's like light music playing in the background
makes it less awkward for me, I think.
Yeah, Monday morning.
Awkward time.
That's when I came back to it with a new coffee here.
Maybe I need this fucking second coffee in me here and really get going.
Morning, Kara.
Good morning, Mella.
How are we?
Hey, good morning.
How are you? Doing good. How are you? Hey, good morning. How are you?
Doing good. How are you?
Yeah, it's Monday morning.
If I could talk, it would be good.
But yeah, I had movers come on the weekend, get the rest of my fucking shit.
Bigger furniture to my new place.
Yeah, so yeah new place. Yeah.
So, yeah, man.
Yeah, it's Monday morning, but I'm still here.
You sound good.
Great show so far.
Good stuff.
Must be nice to be able to afford to hire a mover.
If you're over 30, definitely hire a mover.
You're back.
You need to appreciate you for it.
Because I moved most of
my shit slowly like over the last whatever month i guess a few weeks uh yeah but yeah for the bigger
shit yeah definitely it's like i'm just you know what i mean like when you get to this age and
you're just like you know you got fucking body aches and shit you don't want to call your buddy
with other body aches and fucking pains and be like hey now and get to pick up trucks and fucking pizza oh dude totally dude you'll
bury yourself you'll be like you did that shit when you're 20 but it's like now you just like
you want somebody else to just come in throw it all in fucking a truck and get it done oh you
you try to get that you try to like channel that that high t energy you know i mean bro when you
blow out your back or you blow out like a like a hernia or something trying to show hey fuck get
out of the way i just want to move the washer by yourself and you know what i mean or mountain lion attacks
you when you're trying to put a recliner in the truck or the mountain line could attack you yeah
yeah did i think he i think she's gone now i haven't i didn't see her last night she's not
that but that's a big cat man that thing must have weighed at least 150 160 pounds i don't know man
how what's the max weight how big does a a fucking grok that? How big does a
mountain lion get? Because that thing was
about as big as they get, whatever it was.
Make sure you put
where you're at because it's
going to be like regional, man.
Some of them are smaller.
Those California ones are a little smaller.
We need to have a deadliest animals draft.
Who's living near the deadliest animals?
Yeah, something like that.
We need a glizzy.
220 pounds for male cats.
And then like 60 to 140 for females.
So pretty big.
240 for females.
Yeah, and I couldn't tell.
It's too just too dark. I couldn't see.
I can't tell if it's a male or a female. It looks big, though.
You can go greet it and find out.
I mean, I tried to call it over the one night, but I don't think I really wanted to hang out.
When you get older, it's harder to tell from a distance who's a male or female, too. Your eyes go.
Your eyes go.
It's 2026.
It's 2026. You just can't tell anymore.
You just can't tell anymore.
Oh, I put in the chat, Jules, a long time ago.
There was a photo of Zendaya.
And what's that chick's name?
I can't remember.
But it was actually a dude.
And I think everybody picked the dude.
It was poor Aaron.
Don't tell him that he picked the dude.
Well, that's the thing.
When you get to a certain age, you don't care about anything anymore.
I just, that's why I don't, I try to not to pay a ton of attention to social media as much.
Because, like, I don't, like, I hate sitting there trying to decipher what's what.
Or what's AI and what's not.
Or at this point.
You know what I mean?
Or what's, like, what's just a rage bait or a decent news story or whatever it was it's just he picked hunter schaefer over zendaya and and the photo i
gave him and there was someone else yeah the ai no it's the ai dude it's it's ai you faked that one
dude i'm calling it you picked hunter schaefer too bro it's okay bro it's yeah and especially
especially in crypto twitter like ct like i just don't trust anybody like especially
like yeah anyway oh jules be in one of those blank speaker spaces bro and you won't trust it
dude you'll be convinced you're in the Matrix by the time you leave that dude's space. That's funny.
Good morning, Melody.
How are you doing?
How are you?
How was your weekend?
Oh, my weekend.
I just finalized a move.
So I just said, yeah, I'm in a pile of boxes and unpacked things.
And yeah, it's...
Don't get me wrong.
That's exciting.
Yeah, it is exciting.
I'm really...
Like, this fucking place is absolutely amazing. I'm the night and day difference, uh, and just
kind of quality of life at this property specifically. But, um, but yeah, everybody
knows how fun moving is for sure. So yeah, moving's fun. I, when we moved into this place,
um, there's no elevator and we're on the top floor. So we had to move all of our stuff.
elevator and we're on the top floor so we had to move all of our stuff it was actually intense
and it was like the middle of summer so it was a great workout though it is a good workout and
like you know it moving gives you a chance to purge and i like fixed like i fixed my my uh
my very first because i had some time to move i like i knew i was moving for a while i had this
place for us so and yeah i like had my very first electric guitar for example was like fucked and broken and didn't work i like
pulled it apart and soldered the parts and made it work again you know what i mean and it hasn't
worked for like 10 years at least um so i mean yeah give me a chance to purge and fix some things
that like didn't work and figure out you know what i mean so it's uh it you know it's a month
after new year but i feel like this is kind of like my New Year and fresh start.
Now I'm up at this place, got a nice view,
nice property for my dogs, et cetera.
And yeah, it's good.
Except for the mountain lion that's fucking been stalking my dogs
the last few nights, which was pretty fun.
I don't know if you heard that story, Mello, but what happened,
I saw a mountain lion walk through one night
and I didn't think much of it.
Thought it might have taken off because I saw some deers the next day or whatever.
So it gets really foggy up here.
I'm up on this like really kind of dense fog mountain pass.
And the next night I'm out with my dogs.
I have two dogs.
One of them only has three legs.
So he's hopping around.
And we go out for, you know, do our nighttime business.
And I let the dogs inside.
I close the door,
turned around to finish my joint, like walk towards my car to finish my joint. And this
fucking 150 pound mountain lion is like eight feet away from me, had followed me and my dogs
back to my front door. And I turned around this fucking mountain lion was like right there behind
me. So it had been stalking me and my dogs for a couple of days, but, uh, yeah, that was pretty
interesting. That was also scary. in my week yeah they're they're
like oh man i don't know if you have mountain lions in your area oh you know you're in south
toronto so did you just think you were tripping the first time bro like on that joint did you
think we're just like seeing us like a like a lunar moth or something i'm like my my buddy's
like why don't you just fight it stab it i'm like i was sitting there with a joint and a big lighter
like what am i what am i gonna do to this yeah like rambo just like hand combat of a 200 pound mountain lion
bro yeah i was just like homer to the hedges you know what i mean like took a few pieces back and
slid into my door like i was like holy shit yeah man it's uh because yeah there's a lot of scotch
broom and just dense fog up here at night so you can't see anything those things are
i just i was thinking of like the jurassic park movie when he's being hunted by the fucking
raptors and he's like clever girl you know what i mean oh dude they can see in the dark
they can see in the dark you know what i mean like they're they have like night vision bro
so they they don't give a crap about the fog you know i mean like they just see you over there
still pretty cool because i mean i've seen him around and i got a buddy who hunts cats too but like i've never been that close so i mean it wasn't like i mean a little
too close for comfort with the dog there the one night but it was still really fucking cool to see
a big cat that close murder kitty anyways yeah mella how was your weekend how was uh i didn't uh
i think i was in and out of the bloom room last one. How did it go? It was good. Yeah, it was a good conversation.
Most people thought that I was running it on Sunday.
I got messages after.
So I need to be better at sending out the link, but that's okay.
Yeah, it was a good conversation.
And then my weekend was good.
I was in the studio on – well, actually, it was good, but not so good.
On Saturday, my car wouldn't start so i had to cancel
a gig which was extremely frustrating um but kind of expected with uh my vehicle and how cold it's
been so there was that and then on sunday my car did start and i was able to get to the studio and
record some stuff so we ended up restarting a track that i sat with for
some time and wasn't happy with and we ended up just saying you know what let's open up a new
session and see what happens and it turned out that i was right the tempo was way too fast so
yeah we are uh starting over on it if you don't mind my asking, because there's actually one of your songs playing in the background right now.
And I'm curious,
what is the tempo of your tracks?
Are they like mid-70s?
It is a nice,
it's a very nice pace to listen to.
It's very easy listening.
I'm curious because you have like a range.
What is the tempo range?
That's a good question.
That's a good question with um silly games i don't know
might be half you guys might do them the halftime too i'm not sure so yeah so like yesterday um
what did we say it was um i believe i had the metronome set initially at like 62 or 63
and um and then we ended up slowing it down to like 58 i think oh wow so quite slow even it's
a slower song yeah it's a slower song nice yeah so it just depends depends on the song
easy listening for me like I like
to smoke and relax when I listen to music so I mean it's yeah I really
enjoy your stuff thank you I like this low tempo and even
really? should I bark a whole lot hey mountain lion's back what are you doing?
mountain lion watch out maybe a mountain lion
dude you can't talk like that when the lion gets here bro you can't talk like that when the lion
gets here bro who are you barking at anyway sorry fuck i'm that my dog's never barked in a space
before and i hang out in the spaces quite a bit that's so messed up yeah i have new new place
new property lots of things going on outside. Who knows what she's barking at.
Anyways, um, totally lost my train of thought there.
Tempo of music.
Instrumentals.
Like I've been lately on the, on the slower tip lately, but, um, like 72, 74 seems to
be, it's 70 seems to be the pocket I like to play in.
They say that it usually aligns with your age, which is funny.
They say like your your your heart rate tells
you what kind of tempo you like with music apparently so it's interesting that's funny
that's funny yeah my just slowing down in my old age i guess so why not yeah they do say like as
you get older the tempo of the music that you tend to listen to becomes a little bit more slow.
I think little kids really like upbeat, fast music because their little hearts are going a
little bit faster than ours. So there's something I've heard. I don't know how accurate it is.
Are you at home? Are you in a position where you can play when you come to these spaces in the
morning? I don't want to put you on the spot.
Like if, if not.
I could, yeah, I'm home.
I've got my instruments.
Am I warmed up?
Absolutely not.
But I could warm up.
Maybe a morning song would be nice.
Like I can, I'm like, I mean, I'm,
I'm happy to one run your songs as well.
Cause I'm sitting here, but I'm just curious.
Like I probably should have asked you that in the DM.
Like, Hey, before being like,
I don't want to put you on the spot but since we're here um anyway no that's okay I can um just give me a
little bit I'm gonna warm up I need to warm up my voice anyway because I gotta go teach so I might
just forget get that done now yeah I'm just asking like no pressure at all but like that kind of
answers it there just uh yeah it wasn't didn. Yeah, it'll take me no time.
Like five minutes, five-ish minutes it takes.
And I'm doing this now.
Like I used to be the type of singer that would just like go for it and not warm up.
But as a vocal coach, I'm kind of like, I feel like I need to like take the advice I give my students or else I'm just a hypocrite.
That's pretty funny.
Yeah, I tell them, I'm like, you need to warm up before you sing you got to do
your do your stuff i have like a little routine i've given them so i'm like i can't not do it
myself or else i feel bad that's funny oh man i why is there somebody actually knocking on my
door why is there somebody at my house at 9 a.m on a is this going to turn into a true kind of space bro like are we going to hear you
strangled or by some like crazy canadian person in the middle i'm just going to run that while
mella gets ready i'm going to run a track by 1g this one's called see you in cleveland by 1g
and then hopefully we'll get one from mella here I'm going to see what is going on on my door.
1G, another Canadian artist that you can find
in spaces. I'll see you in Cleveland.
And it'll be a snowy Sunday afternoon.
You'll be wearing blue jeans and a cubicle hat at that bench down on Main, right across from the blue
Here we go again, blasting on the world to see
Rise up from the ashes after being caught off at the knees
Deep inside the bones, then you can tell it in the air
This kind of steps from hand to skin, then no one even sees
You can tell it in the air, try to stitch and bone
Cause sometimes life ain't there
A complex where we're wrong, emotion always comes out
No you're not alone, cause there's millions in the way
I'm trying to take up all the triggers anybody who
On any given day, you know we've lasted through it all.
And so, this paints a sad picture for us all.
But we went through it all.
I'll see you in Cleveland.
It'll be a snowy Sunday afternoon.
That is See You in Cleveland by our man 1G.
Another artist from Ontario who actually records all this stuff on his own in Southern Ontario.
Mixes it up and puts it out on Spotify.
You can find him under 1G.
That was some security guy.
I don't know why they got called here. But there's no reason for security to be here.
I don't want to.
Madeline, do we buy you enough time?
I'm still warming up.
I didn't realize you were talking to me.
That's fine.
Yeah, just a little bit.
Then we will just move on.
Now, how do I move on into more?
How do I move on from that into a conversation that hasn't been started at this point?
What am I talking about here?
We're talking about the mix between the music that we have in Web2 spaces and the blockchain tech.
All these people that are curious about the markets, why metals are moving so much, why Bitcoin moves so much.
How do they get involved with NFTs?
Is there any value in NFs for musicians and independent artists i do believe there is and this is kind of a radio show to focus on the musicians on x and the talent that i know
on both the web 2 and the web 3 side and hopefully just uh yeah create a little spot kara has curated
this community drop the mic where a lot of us have just come together to share our music and vibration with each other as well as all the listeners that are in the community as well.
But, you know, we're coming into this world where we're trying to decentralize from the capitalist middleman that's been profiting off everyone's back, right?
off if everyone's back right so um you know maybe maybe there's room for independent artists to go
grow and and monetize as they see fit and and people can can give back uh in different ways
uh when it comes to web3 or different decentralized streaming platforms like one we've recently
discovered t-bone you got a hand up high five man. What's up? Yo, did you ever end up opening an account on that thing over the weekend?
Oh, I fucking, no, I totally fly.
I shouldn't have committed to doing that because I hired movers
and was doing shit this weekend.
So, no, I totally forgot about it.
I did not open my account on that platform.
But, I mean, like we said before,
like I'm just at that point where it's like, I got to just open the account and see like what's
beyond that point. But so far, it just looks like your average streaming platform. They don't
advertise anything blockchain on the front end. It doesn't say that it's integrated or has any
sort of amalgamation at all, but it is. And you can move NFTs through it
and things are secured with a blockchain network,
it seems to be, on the back end somehow.
But it's just like Spotify or whatever YouTube.
It's a nice-looking streaming platform,
but you can monetize and sell your art as you see fit.
But you can also build your community
and connect with the community there, I think.
And I think moving forward, that's going to be the benefit so like mela herself is looking into
streaming more i think this like in this this world of kind of ai and robotics people are just
craving more human connection so whether that's hanging out in a space and being able to hear
people's voice and determine whether you think they're real or not or you know watching someone
like melabee who will perform live on her streams etc I think that just being able
to connect with your community is gonna be how you build value moving forward
your you know your reputation is gonna be help you build credit moving forward
so if you're hanging out with scammers and extractors like that's that's what
you're gonna be like I think that that's what you're going to be. Like, I think that, you know,
these things are starting to come out in the wash.
That's why nobody's really made any fucking money in the,
like they can talk about, like, I'm obviously, you know,
you can play music with chairs and pull the chair on somebody
for a few thousand bucks here and there.
But like, what real value does that have?
You know what I mean?
Like, I'm just, I'm not with that djn or trench mentality
so um yeah i don't know just trying to put on a different vibe and just uh you know hang out and
be with all these people who are really authentic and just be my authentic self i want to hang out
play some music i like to trade and chat markets so uh yeah i don't know man i just um yeah i don't know i just i just did it like here
we are like i'm winging it i'm really planning this thing kind of as i go and uh so far the
turnout's been really great i appreciate all the artist support the people who have reached out
um yeah man we're just gonna wing it and see what see what happens i don't want to be like
i'm building out here and i'm building i show up and i'm building it's like you know what i mean
i don't know uh just out here
just out here winging it because i fucking i love the artists that i've that i've met and i don't
want to see people get taken advantage of like they have for five years in in crypto anymore
you know what i mean like it's just become so corny like it's just destroyed what value there
actually really may be in nfts and um and in and i don't want to say the rest of the network,
because who knows?
Most cryptos do exactly the same thing.
That's the issue.
There's no crypto that does anything different
than what Bitcoin already started and does.
You know what I mean?
And like, sure, there's, like I said,
there's a few that offer some logistical problems
and solutions, but it's like,
are people really going to give up decades and decades
of high performing you know
server systems etc etc like i again this is parts of the conversation i really don't feel like i'm
even intelligent enough to fucking speak on but you know it's just um yeah i don't know mba that's
kind of more your central is it centralization suffices for most companies. You don't need a blockchain, you know, with just relational database, SQL, Python, R,
that'll do for someone's business.
You don't need to have it decentralized.
I think a lot of crypto is vaporware.
And for the ones that do actually provide, like outside of Bitcoin, like, man, poor Chainlink.
The price doesn't move at
all so um it's just bitcoin and a couple of cryptos that don't move that actually do things
and there's only one that's performing next to bitcoin and it's it's funny that the price is
kind of relative based on you know a decimal point uh and people hate them but bnb oh yeah 700 it's 778 dollars or
whatever it is bitcoins is 78k right like uh you know it's interesting that's really the only one
that's performed uh even close in my opinion but yeah no finance and and it was Doge too, but Binance is really the only other one that really is the horse that comes close.
And I think that, you know, all this other, like all this other idea, all these other ideas that things are just going to run just because they've been created.
It's new tech, this and that.
Like I said, they don't, nothing does anything different.
It just gives you the ability to send money from one spot to another without the need for a middleman.
Right. different. It just gives you the ability to send money from one spot to another without the need for a middleman, right? So it's like, you know, how many of them will end up being success stories if they don't actually offer some real world solutions, right? So it's like the XRP folks,
right? It's like the banks have already had this technology. XRP might be great for like a bank in
Thailand that doesn't have it. it when it comes to artists coming into
this though like how do you how do you separate this idea like i think people's people come in
here with you know whether it's meme coins or whatever brings them into the ecosystem before
they buy and find bitcoin and they get rugged but like what how do you how do you separate like i
think the drug is people believe they're gonna just wake up rich one day like oh
I came into crypto and I bought fucking fart coin and they just expect like the next day they're
gonna wake up a million dollars in their wallet like people are just addicted to the idea that
there might they might get rich yeah so absolutely how do you separate the the mentality from people
like thinking they're gonna get rich if they buy an nft or a fucking marketplace and like build value in the product because there is value for independent artists here to go direct
to consumer right and without having a middleman whether it's spotify or some sort of distribution
service or some sort of promoter or whatever and artists should be able to sell direct to consumer
and have nobody else claim any any you know unless agreed upon for some sort of, you know, fair promotion, right?
But what I don't like, it's crazy to see the same bullshit capitalist techniques of industry standard come into a Web3 marketplace,
and even worse percentages, things like that, right?
Like, it's just weird to me.
Most people are just here trying to capitalize on what other people offer as a service, right?
But artists, they have utility in just their music alone.
So they're selling a product.
So how do they put together a piece of visual art that is attractive to collectors in a digital market and have the music be high quality enough that that's enough to buy as a product and not expect more kind of in return?
Like everyone wants a
utility it's like nothing off what the fuck offers utility in this market please show me
a crypto that offers something that bitcoin doesn't i some some give me some utility that
is fucking useful or beneficial to anybody in any way i try to be devil's advocate i did see someone
using the brave browser a couple of days ago okay i saw that
and then polymarket with besides outside but outside of gambling it's just been like the
brave yeah yeah and there's a lot and i do think there's a lot more value to nfts for you know
like individuals independent artists etc etc like i you know. Like, you know, like, you know, but I guess, again,
that's up to the market to decide.
Like, no one could have predicted that, you know,
fucking whatever Pokemon card that is that sold for $32 million.
It was like the market decides, you know, say, fuck,
five, 10 years from now what these things will be valued as.
But I think for independent artists,
they should be able to build that value in their own product.
I like Polly Vine's new NFT.
Did he show you yesterday?
Dude, that's awesome.
Oh, with the no face?
Or like the no expression face?
The white.
Is that an...
I actually thought that was really cool.
Polly, there you go.
He should make one for the whole show, I think.
Or at least the key character.
I think he made it just a joke.
It wasn't an actual NFT.
Well, even...
We've gotten glizzy out of it.
Oh, my God.
That's strong.
Jesus Christ.
Even the...
Even the... The one that.... Even the one that accidentally come out always seem to be the best.
You know what I mean?
Like the whatever mammoths.
The mammoths.
Like the best picture was the mammoths in the car with the seatbelt buckled up.
You know what I mean?
Like that was kind of organic and funny, right?
Like I think some of the best that was kind of organic and funny right like i think
the some of the best ones just kind of happen did you see that video poly made dude
if anybody hasn't seen it go to poly vine's page he made this video you know how you go to like a
a place and they have like a like a diorama like a like a set, like, you know, these train, these, like, Lionel train setups
or something like that.
He made, like, people
going to see, like, an old-knit,
like, western town
with miniature people running all around,
like, real people.
Crazy, dude.
It looks real.
Like, it looks like you're there
watching, like, little tiny people
running around.
Are you talking about the God Glizza?
Sorry, I got distracted.
Sorry, I thought you were referring
to the fucking God Glizza.
No, not that.
But that's got like 21...
Dude, that's got like 25,000 views.
I didn't make that.
No, I'm talking about how hely made his video, which is crazy, dude.
I think he's been working on it for a few days.
Like I said, I've been thinking Pauly was an insider since like last March
or maybe even like last year.
Pauly's very talented.
He seems to have a lot of good knowledge about these ai platforms and
the prompting and make putting the videos together
so you never know joseph man how you doing
doing okay what's happening uh just winging it man i'm just winging it it's groundhog day
chatting the markets, chatting music.
How are you guys doing? I'm going to do these spaces Monday, Tuesday.
Or no, sorry, Monday, Wednesday, Fridays.
So I'll have to check out The Girl That Loves Pink.
I haven't tapped into that one yet, so I'll have to check that out tomorrow.
You want to tell us about that?
Yeah, we're just Spaces Media, the 24-hour guy doing... we figured we'd just jump in because it's hard for me to get oh okay come into a space okay okay
so we picked noon on tuesday because when she's working she takes noon you know her lunch break
comes in sings chats with everybody you know so cool let's bring everybody
to my cool so yeah if you're not familiar with uh maya tejon she's a singer songwriter on x
uh she's in the last year or so been performing the anthems baseball games etc in the states
like where you guys are florida florida area right um so Spaces Media, if you guys are familiar, yeah.
If you want to post the link up, go ahead.
Spaces Media, they run 24-hour spaces on X,
and what they do is rotate hosts and shows and different talent on X
that kind of come through there and do shows.
So, yeah, noon EST on Tuesdays.
You can catch Joseph and Maya Tejan in there.
Yeah, appreciate the plug. Yeah, nojan in there. Yeah, appreciate the plug.
Yeah, no worries, man.
Yeah, that's the idea here.
Like, I, you know, I like to trade in chat markets.
So it's like I've kind of been like I tiptoe in crypto and I tiptoe in the music spaces.
And I've never, I've never shilled anything fucking crypto to anybody in the music spaces.
And I've never really kind of poured my music or anybody else's music
onto anybody in the crypto spaces. I kind of just left them separate to me, kind of like my,
like a business and pleasure thing almost, you know what I mean? But yeah, like I just, you know,
I'm tired of, you know, seeing the tomfoolery that happens out in here and, you know what I mean? I
just want to, I want to hang out. I want to chat the markets, what little knowledge I do have with
the people who hopefully have more, you know,
some insight to share with me, as well as put on for the artists.
So, you know what I mean?
I'm curating these playlists of artists and musicians on X from both sides,
whether it's Web3 or the Web2 side of the music spaces that we're in.
Yeah, man, and just...
You know, it's been fine for me.
You know, I don't invest in it.
Do you know what you want? Yeah, that's fine, yeah. I mean, we put Maya's been fine for me. You know, I don't invest in it.
Yeah, that's fine.
I mean, we put Maya's product up for sale.
We have a couple of, you know, Ada, Salama, and XRP.
Yeah, and you guys just sold out Indica Dream on Launch Mind FT with One Got Beats and Thanos, which is great.
So there is a marketplace
there's there's people out here that want to collect collect music and the artist should get
the artist should get all that you know what i mean yeah well and then in return what happens is
when we're working with an artist and we're taking we're using one of their beats. We can pay in crypto.
And, you know, it just gets rotated back.
But, you know, we've got another song that we can put out there.
So it's just rotation.
That's all.
And I'm not looking at it whether the market goes up, goes down.
It's going to be what it is.
So that's my outlook.
Yeah. I mean, if it didn't go up and down i wouldn't look at it uh because i trade i mean that's what i hope it does is go up and down if it didn't move
no one would be here so well you know xrp is down to 150 now and you know who knows what are they
going to be doing next with it yeah i yeah i just i don't yeah i mean xrp i just you
know i don't want to say that i'm a bitcoin maxi because like i hold i hold vine and like that's my
the you know my one little you know kind of fun play on the side of bitcoin but um you know that's
not to say that xrp won't do well Like, it's the Ripple network specifically that offers, like, a massive, massive amount of savings to the financial system and remittance payments globally.
So, like, I mean, we're talking probably the hundreds of billions of dollars so you know i like things like that like i said things that actually have some purpose or serve some purpose or like see some benefit to some industry like there will be
a like a handful of exceptions in this ecosystem but the majority of crypto is is fucking trash
garbage uh yeah i know even even silver like silver like like i the last time bitcoin dumped
as much as silver did was over 10 years ago like and i'm
talking about as fast like okay so in the bear market we fell 77 sure but silver fell fucking
35 in 24 hours like if if like that's insane if that was any small fucking crypto or stock like
trading just would have been shut down on it they would have fucking closed the fucking
closed trading on it you know what i mean like it would you know so i don't know it's
just weird like nobody can predict what's going on in this market the amount of money that's moving
around is just fucking absolutely ludicrous but um yeah just hold on to your fucking hats and uh
yeah i i just think that the marketplace of crypto nfts whatever is so new so it's been washed out of this hype that it had you
know 2018 to 2021 2022 um and whatever whatever's left like you know what i mean there will be some
things that survive the wash here but um you know it better have some value you better have a good
quality product you know what i mean otherwise you're just going to be you know a degen trencher
which i guess will always have a place here too the casino is not going to be, you know, a D-Gen trencher, which I guess will always have a place here, too.
The casino's not going to stop, I guess.
But it just, yeah, when everybody wants to onboard more people, it's like that I'm going to, you know, I'm going to cheat on you for a fucking 2X or 3X mentality is, you know, crazy.
It hasn't done us any favors.
Anyways, anyways, we should play some Anyways. We should play some music.
We should play some music.
You got any hip-hop?
Of course we got some hip-hop.
We were letting Mela B warm up.
I'm ready.
I'm ready.
She's awesome now.
We're going to get a live tune
from Mela B here.
I haven't heard you live in a while.
I haven't been in your spaces.
Really looking forward to it.
Is now the time?
Absolutely, yeah.
Take it away.
Okay, cool.
Yeah, we'll see.
We'll see how warmed up I am.
I kind of gave up halfway through.
I got distracted by something.
All right. I kind of gave up halfway through, I got distracted by something. Um, alright.
Um, what do I want to play?
Let's see. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr You don't know me like you want to And I'm sorry but I don't think you ever
will No, you don't know the false truth
And it's funny that you seem to think you do
Cause I've got one thing on my mind I've got one thing on my mind, I got one thing on my mind and it's not you
You don't need me like you say you do
Trust me baby, I can't be the one to pull you through
You just tease me and you make me feel so small I'll be the one to pull you through
You just tease me and you make me feel so small
So why should I put you on a pedestal?
Two, three, four
Cause I've got one thing on my mind
I've got one thing on my mind
I've got one thing on my mind I've got one thing on my mind and it's not you
No, it's not you No, I've got one thing on my mind
I've got one thing on my mind I've got one thing on my mind
And it's not you Guess I'm just bad at writing love songs
I'm just bad at writing love songs
In fact, I don't think that I've ever really won it all
Cause just when I feel like it's my time to fall
You come around and prove I was better on my own Cause I've got one thing on my mind
I've got one thing on my mind
I've got one thing on my mind
And it's not you, no it's not you, no
I've got one thing on my mind
I've got one thing on my mind I've got one thing on my mind i've got one thing on my mind i've got one thing on my mind and it's not
what that was the wrong sound effect
oh man uh that is mella b one thing on i think it's just called one thing there might be some
it's one thing open bracket
not you close bracket
and you can find that on Spotify
man last episode I did it's so funny I was like I
thought I was putting this links to the songs I played in
the right spot but I was putting up on one of the previous
promo posts so anyway I think what I'll
do is just wait till
I close the space and then I'll probably go and re-comment
the songs that have played
in that space that day so that
people can find them. But yeah, that's One Thing
by Mellow Beat. You can find that on Spotify.
And since we got Protector Joseph
putting on for Maya Tejon
always out there and
trying to spread the word of Maya.
Again, singer-songwriter you can find on
X. This is...
This is the right one.
Yeah, Maya Tejian, We Can. I don't want to call you back, but the time is so slow. I never touch you from my home.
I wonder when you're coming back,
because I don't want to be alone.
Because I know that ain't nobody love you like I can.
Make you want to get away and drive for the weekend.
Ain't nobody do it like we can.
Like we can.
Ain't nobody love you like I can.
Make you want to get away and I wanna leave, yeah.
Ain't nobody like we can, like we can.
I can't go into you without your love.
Everything I need is in my touch.
I feel like I've never been so mean.
If you want to, I want to stay ahead and stop. I've never been so seen You're welcome
What's there as now?
Just as if we do so hard
What's the best thing you would need?
We let go of the past and our burden
And everything feels like home.
What the reason I started all over is not coming down.
Can't nobody love you like I can.
If you want to get away and drive for the weekend.
Ain't nobody do it like we can, like we can.
You always hear yourself alive.
And I didn't think that's it inside.
You're like nothing's there with this on me.
I don't wanna say that I'm not.
I don't wanna say that I'm going to get away and drive on a beat. like we can like we can Can't nobody love you right back in
If you wanna get over and drive
on a weekend
Can't nobody do it like we can
like we can
like we can
we can my tajon beauty such solid vocals on that man
i'm gonna readjust my phone here
t-bone loves the music man I appreciate you guys coming through.
This is Kara's lovely community.
Drop the mic.
Kara, would you like to chime in, say hello this morning?
You've put out your first original song yourself.
Are you working on recording your second original song, I hear?
Oh, of course she's not going to do it.
No, I'm here.
I don't know how to answer that because I've struggled with recording.
So I kind of gave up, but I need to get back to it.
You know, red light syndrome is a real thing, especially when you're recording yourself.
Like you can, it's so easy to just hit record again or like think you need to do more takes
and just keep going and never thinking it's good enough.
But that was the point of your first and only recorded song.
Good enough, I guess, which is fucking solid.
So yeah, anyway, no, I hope you do. I hope you record the second one and I know you're a good one. I'm not sure if you're a good one. I'm not sure if you're a good one.
I'm not sure if you're a good one.
I'm not sure if you're a good one.
I'm not sure if you're a good one.
I'm not sure if you're a good one.
I'm not sure if you're a good one.
I'm not sure if you're a good one.
I'm not sure if you're a good one.
I'm not sure if you're a good one.
I'm not sure if you're a good one.
I'm not sure if you're a good one. I'm not tabs again, losing my train of thought.
We can just have a little meditation.
We can have a quick meditation sometimes, too, I suppose is all right.
This is why I like the background music.
I've got to get back to my background music.
I feel like it's better than just silence and the sound of my computer fan.
Well, I'll fill in a bit for you.
And over the next couple of weeks...
Jesus Christ. Sorry, go ahead.
Yeah, over the next couple of weeks,
anybody that's going to be coming down to Florida for vacation
in Tampa, Orlando, or whatever,
come check out where Maya's going to be singing national anthems at
between the Phillies, the Pirates, the Yankees, you know, all their minor league teams.
And hit me up for tickets.
Yeah, that's great, man.
I think that's awesome.
I don't know if I can sing the national anthem like that a cappella in front of people.
That's pretty cool.
It's a great thing because I can't book her in front of 50 to of people that's pretty cool it's a great thing because i can't book her in
front of 50 to 100 people normally but i can get her in front of 6 000 people at a game right and
that's like you know what i mean if you get her to a game she sings the anthem they probably run
a couple of tracks at the baseball game you get the word out people hear her name oh yeah no they
they've been playing weekend in in the playing weekend in the parks while she sings.
Right, yeah.
You know, so we get that.
And then we got something special this year as well that we're releasing during baseball.
Something special.
Something special is coming.
Does it have to do with things kind of – is it music specifically or does it involve other industries as well?
There's a whole bunch of things, yes.
I've been quiet for the last couple of months
because we're working on a whole bunch of stuff.
We've been in the studio, and I've got the writing team working on the movie.
Cool. Interesting.
Very interesting.
Background of TV and film sound himself
Protector Joseph
thanks for coming through man
appreciate it
what are we doing here
what do you think T-Bone
how are you feeling
do you want to chime in on anything going on
in the video creation world
as far as the X market is concerned
yeah I was just actually
trying to make a video while we were so sorry i'm uh sometimes it's tough because um
like an idea will come to your head man that's so simple and easy. Like you said earlier, the best things are the easiest.
And I was talking about that cool-ass video
Polly made, man,
but I know how much work he put into that.
And that'll get like 100 views, dude.
And it's like the craziest thing.
I know he probably put a couple hours into it.
And then you'll make...
And I've done that before, too.
I've made things on here like um that i thought were gonna be like amazing uh that people were gonna react to you know spend a lot of hours on it and then people don't really react to it
and then like you know some idea will pop in my head i'll make a three second it'll take me like
five minutes to make it dude and it'll just blow up and people will like love it it's it's so crazy man
that's the connection between all the arts you know what i mean like art is just like that whether
it's music visual anything you just never know what people are going to like really man you think
like because because you're trying to create something from your head that you like you know what i mean that's how it starts it's weird that like
you know because there seems to be a focus on people that are sharing news writing articles
etc on x but there's also a focus now for video creation tools like and if they're if they're
competing to be in in like the creator realm, whether it's live streaming video through spaces that they seem to be working on or, you know, like, what is the – is there a real market for all this AI creators?
Oh, my God.
Like, people don't want to just sit there and watch fucking bullshit people made with AI all the time.
No, you're right.
That novelty has to get old and boring at some point, right?
You're making a great point because this is the problem.
Like I actually was thinking about this a lot the other day.
First of all, there's a whole group of people that most people actually hate the AI videos.
It's like they're fun to make.
Don't get me wrong.
Like I've made a few short, but it's not like like like i just feel like it gets old fast you know it does
and and and listen as far as as grok has come just go on the cap cut it's not even close to
cap cut i'm sorry it's just not like cap cut has a million filters and and um like templates you can use and it's much more designed for
bringing your own image in which i think is probably going to be the future of it like
x you know and again not i'm not trying to be mean but like it's a bunch of engineers you know so like i'm an
industrial designer i focus on the creative side of stuff and the engineers are the ones that make
it happen but right now on x it's all engineers making these videos that's why it's all weird
like anime and just like futuristic like you know stuff that nobody really like as cool as that stuff looks like what are you going
to do with that like there is no future for that like and that's and again i'm not trying to figure
out a reason to bring it back into vine but like if if they think that they're just gonna like
try to get people to spend time on here making videos and imagine just because yeah it's not going to happen like
divine vine gives people a reason to come back to the space you know i mean because it's a
it's about creating multiple things not just this one segment like the the idea would be imagine
would be a tool kind of like cap cut like for people that create on TikTok. You know what I mean?
If they're trying to build a platform around Imagine, dude,
it ain't going to go anywhere.
But it's like, I've got a lot of tools at home,
you know what I mean?
And I don't wake up in the morning being like,
I can't wait to get to my screwdriver.
You know what I mean? I don't know.
I just think this whole idea of like, I don't know.
It just, you you know comparing the
phone and like these these addictive fucking dopamine sources to like tools is like a whole
other conversation psychologically i think but i just like i said i'm just curious if the market
is even there so it's like yeah we can talk about vine in these spaces this is music and markets on
x the only other marketplace i have a few bucks in is is vine
outside of bitcoin right so i don't mind talking about it so it's like i'm still curious where
where is that marketplace so it's like you know holding for a year now um and it's like
the like i don't know it's like well talking about vine the coin is boring talking about vine
yeah the app but even just even just the development even just the development in the video tools in ai or fork rock or 4x involved like in the conversation like we know that elon's been
involved in the conversation so it is interesting right it's like there's a reason people are are
buying into the idea of the coin too right but like where is the actual marketplace if they're
if they're if their focus is to especially if they're like knocking out grifters and like spam creators and slop creators and like they want to focus on people who are creating quality articles, etc, etc.
It's like it seems to be like counterproductive to this idea that they're going towards some sort of like, you know, more powerful video creative place.
It feels more like they're trying to push things the direction that they think it should go
and not as much going with the direction that people want to go, you know?
I don't know if that makes sense.
You know what I mean?
So are they just trolling everyone then?
Like is Nikita's job to like not only you know run products and do what
he does but he's like does he just troll and piss people off like on the timeline well that's just
he comes like i know everybody likes him but he comes from a very specific like like um
type of background that could be amazing but like the guy's thought process i mean he's like um
Like, the guy's thought process, I mean, he's like a 4chan, you know, like, type of person, man.
He has a, like, he's very, like, militant in what he thinks things should be.
You know what I mean?
Like, and I don't know how you breed creativity with that kind of stuff.
You know, like, for example, like, you actually made a really good point.
I was actually laughing about it because it was funny to see.
It's always funny to me when you get riled up about stuff.
But, like, you actually made a really good point.
Like, I saw you comment on his thing and said,
but why do you need to take the coffee thing away?
What's it hurting anybody?
Like, why would you just take that away?
But you made a really good point.
Like, that's the point.
Like, why are you fucking with that?
There's so many things on here that need to be fixed, and you're fucking with that.
Especially for someone like me.
The thing is, is, like, I don't want to jump through hoops on the app that I pay for to be, like, and, like, don't get me wrong.
If you want to be a reply guy and you've somehow monetized that way, that's fine.
Like, it's just not, it's just not for me.
It's not my vibe.
Like, I just, I would rather go find ways to make fiat outside of this app than fucking chase replies for a couple hundred bucks every two weeks i think
that's fucking nuts so i can't monetize on x because i don't want to chase engagement like
that you know what i mean so it's like what what is who am i hurting by putting buy me a coffee
link in there when it's like the like people in the music spaces were looking for a place to send
me tips it's like because i don't have them set up on x so it's like you know what i mean unless i fit
into their box of whatever it's like i you know what i mean i so it's like there'll be some sort
of flag label on anybody's account who has buy me a coffee in there because they're you know
attached to a few grifters too like it just doesn't make sense like who cares if somebody has a link
i don't know you know what i mean like who
cares yeah even if it's screwing up the algorithm like dude like then your algorithm algorithm's
trash like how come the chinese can figure this shit out how come they can figure out how to fix
their algorithms but like elon musk team team can't figure out their algorithm like it's i don't know
yeah and like even even myself like my it like I said, I don't chase a
lot of engagement on this app. Like really what I enjoy here is just has been using spaces lately.
You know what I mean? And, you know, once in a while I'll jump into a friend space and join
a conversation. But I don't like, I don't necessarily care to argue opinions or share
a lot of opinions. I just feel it's like kind of just ends up being redundant. But, you know, I like this ability to connect people with here.
But like even my like is for a small account, the difference in my experience and who engages
with me, even with a small following is like night and day difference from a year or year
and a half ago.
And that's a problem like they want to force people
to build a following but like um they're also restricted for building a following it's it
seems the best way to do it is like just like being a reply guy or like almost engaging with
stuff you don't want to engage with because it's ad revenue or whatever but it's like
how does that better the app or the
social structure you know i don't know to me it's just it's a it's a weird vibe like i i struggle
like i don't don't like i i really do struggle with like and we'll see like i really hope i can
be consistent and keep this space going like another reason to start this space was to hold
myself accountable to try and be more involved with social media because it's become such a big part of of everything but i really like i go in and out it's like i i'd like i'd
rather be outside with my dogs or or whatever or go fishing or you know what i mean like well dude
it's here's what you're saying like here's what's messed up i i average maybe 500 to a thousand
views on my videos i spent a lot of time on i I have to troll like a Nicki Minaj account like post.
Wait until she posts like a minute later.
And put like a Nicki Minaj like kind of funny video.
You know, that was funny.
I thought Glizzy Minaj was funny.
It's like, don't get me wrong.
Like when I see my friends stuff that they're doing, like I'm not like, oh, I'm not.
You know what I mean?
Like Glizzy Minaj was funny.
I thought that was fucking funny.
But it's like I just personally yeah i could never like i i don't think i would ever want to like have that be the way that i
grow it's hardly i could just chase replies or put notifications on for a bunch of shit i don't
care about just to like try and to reach some level of number like that's the other thing like
the metrics and the numbers it's like to me that's like and that's the whole that misses the
whole point of what x actually offers which is ability for us to connect and network across the globe and build
the audience right um well i'm not monetized so like i my motivations for doing things is a little
different and sometimes i'll just do like a little like social experiment just to see like i it
actually cracks me up that it worked that way like you could you could you could do a video like that
It worked that way.
You could do a video like that on an account like that and get thousands of views just because you're one of the top things on her comment.
It's such a big culture.
It breeds such a bit.
It's like crypto.
It's like you're just preying on people, man.
It's like crazy.
Even the times where I've – don't get me wrong. I've replied to things, but it's not because're just preying on people man it's like crazy when i and like even the times where
i've like i like don't get me wrong like i've replied to things but it's not because i'm
chasing replies like i'll see a video that actually like sparks a reply for me say it does
well like i get to about 500 likes on a reply and i fucking delete it because i don't want
to see the notifications keep bringing me back to those posts which is which is i guess
counterproductive to my social media or whatever.
But like I said,
I don't like when you chase numbers,
numbers are infinite.
You're never going to be happy because you'll probably,
like there's going to be one day that you'll,
and it's like,
you'll never match that peak again.
You're always going to be chasing a high.
it's like the chasing numbers and metrics.
I just think it's like heroin fucking.
the early days of YouTube...
It's just a different dopamine fix.
You know what I mean?
The early days of YouTube was completely organic.
Like people would blow up and make millions of dollars on monetization
just because they made a really cool music video where they were...
or they were like doing a cover of somebody's song or they...
You know, like that kind of stuff that should, that's how it should be.
Like, and, but the algorithm is very important to that.
If you have the wrong algorithm or if you're trying to curate an algorithm
that's pushing away from that, then you're, you're, they're,
they're deciding who becomes viral.
Otherwise,
and the only way you can break out of that
is to do what we're talking about here,
is to go rogue and do weird shit.
Which is why that ends up under the surface
is some real creativity and art and things like that.
I don't know why people don't
want to engage with that you know what i mean it's like it's it's easy to engage with something
that stirs emotions or gets you a little upset or makes you laugh or whatever but it's like
there's a lack of engagement when it comes to like authentic creativity and and art and and
things like that on social media especially like especially if you're trying to grow on one of the
other social media apps where you're showing to grow on one of the other social media apps
where you're showing to a lot of local people.
Until somebody blows up, the people locally around them
probably likely won't engage with their stuff
until they get a decent following.
Then it's like, oh, hey, I knew that person or whatever.
You know what I mean?
Well, Google got it down somehow, bro.
Google has this shit figured out.
I've posted, and I don't even give a shit,
I'll randomly post every blue
moon, like, a picture of something I really actually
liked, like, on a review on,
like, Google Maps. Just, like,
it's so rare that I do it, dude.
I'll get, like, an email,
like, six months later. Oh, your
review's blowing up, and
it'll be, like, 100,000, like, people
seeing the picture. And, like, I don't even give a shit about that like there's people that live on that but like
like google has it figured out to where people can see things and they spread it around like
they haven't figured out like i x is do x you have to be like when i first got into this whole vine space and like the like those designers
a great example of this right that account and i used to think oh i used to think his posts were
like great and all that then after like a couple months of just see like and then it clicked and i
realized you see this vast network of people that just vampire like they're just like parasites on
elon that just literally bullpost everything he
does and like he'll repost their stuff and then people think like that's a hidden elon account
and it dude it's and after about six months of that it's like i don't follow all those people
i can't even stand it anymore actually like it's like it's so weird like the like that um yeah
there's a there's a strange mentality on X and it's like,
don't get wrong.
Like a lot of people are,
they found monetization that way and ad revenue drives their checks.
if you found a way to get a couple thousand bucks a week or every couple
of weeks out of X,
you know what I mean?
So I get it,
but it's like,
I feel like,
I feel like the algorithm or whatever,
hopefully whatever Nikita is doing is,
is helping that because like, you know, I don't know how long it takes, but, like, authenticity will resurface.
You know what I mean?
The value will end up in human creators, in my opinion, and not all these slop accounts or people just, like, recycling other people's content.
They don't actually do anything of their own.
You know what I mean?
But we'll see. We shall see.'s uh it's a little grim for everybody i think but
that's all right i think that's why people retreat to things like this though because
like the music spaces where people are actually still doing creative things and making things
i think people retreat to that area that's why space is so great because
that's what you really want you don't want like to be part of this that whole subculture that's
on here of people just like regurgitating it's it's horrible man yeah yeah that's the slop that's
the slop i see i mean a little ai slop too i've got a hand up here. Is it just Lord Neil?
Yeah, Lord Neil Walter Donaldson.
That is a mouthful.
What's up, man?
Good afternoon.
Hello, everybody.
Thanks for having me up.
Excuse my voice.
I had operation.
I'd just like to tell you my side of the thing with regard to what you're speaking about,
as I've gathered, over December I was in hospital.
I had a medical problem and I had a legal problem.
And I asked Glock to help me.
It was on the ball.
It was on the go.
And we were in a good accord with each other.
And then everybody started painting fucking dragons, you know.
And every dragon looked the same and coming out of fire and with Elon's wings.
And yeah, I also got sick of it.
That's what I wanted to say.
Yeah, you see a lot of that or like yeah there was a lot
of the the dragons cyberpunk nba is gone but i know cyberpunk was a personal favorite the anime
yeah a lot of repeat stuff and like i think that's weird too like and you know elon's a quirky dude
whatever but like i think this like you know really anthropomorphizing some of this ai especially on like it's like a sexual side
is very strange i'm not i'm just not into that it's cool it's cool but uh you can't have anything
of two of anything you know you can't have too much of anything you know that's that's true it
doesn't matter what it is doesn't matter if it's sugar,
even water. You shouldn't drink too much water, to be honest.
Even air. That's my greatest addiction. As a call to addiction goes. As far as I'm concerned,
heaven is a nice place. So why don't we want to go there by breathing air and then eating and drinking.
Yeah, myself, I just, I mean, I suck back a lot of black coffee
and smoke a few joints.
So, I mean, I, you know, everything in moderation, I suppose, but...
Except the joints, the joints you don't have to do in moderation.
Don't have to use moderation with joints? I mean, I try to to gotta get outside you gotta get outside every day you gotta get outside every day
even if even if it's for 15 minutes you should get outside every day and get the blood
no i've been outside three or five times today it's cold here today i'm lucky here it's uh
what is it 44 degrees fahrenheit here today it's not bad how many degrees centigrade is
that please oh man we actually have a celsius person here hang on a sec i'm you know it's
funny because it's up there don't you that's about seven uh it's 47 here so that's about
nine degrees celsius okay we've got minus nine
degrees Celsius. Okay, we've got minus nine. Minus nine? Yeah, see it's warm here. I'm from
the warm part of Canada. And it's funny because I actually, it should be snowing here. I'm
like, I moved to a fairly high elevation. There's generally snow up here this time of
year. But even our fucking the ski hill where I'm at has been absolute shit conditions this
year. It's just been raining really hard. You know, I was in Lapland in Suami, they call it actually, in 1984.
1984? I wasn't even alive in, I was not alive in 1984.
I was in Lapland, Suami in February without a tent, without a telephone and on my own.
And I spent five days outside, it was minus 52.
Where are you from?
South Africa.
Pardon me, sorry?
South Africa.
Oh really? Nice.
Man, yeah.
Hello, hello.
Hello, hello. oh really nice yeah yeah i used to i spent my winters when i was a young man i uh i spent my
winters in the oil field so i've worked some i've worked some cold days i think the the coldest day
i was up the stick pulling pipe out of the ground it was minus 48 with a wind chill it was like minus
67 or something like that.
That was probably the coldest day I worked out.
I was 60 feet up the tower.
We were pulling fucking three kilometers out of the pipe
or a pipe out of the fucking ground.
I was, yeah, I've worked some cold days.
I've worked some cold days.
But I'm grateful to be in a fairly warm part of Canada, to be honest.
The winters are pretty mild.
A friend of mine lives in Alaska and bitches about the weather. I told him, hey, you don't
have to live there, you know.
Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I don't live in the cold part. I don't live in the nasty parts of Canada.
Our man Danger is one of the
colder parts there.
Are you talking about Danger,
David? I am, yeah.
He lives in a really nasty part of Canada
where it's flat, fucking minus
30 every day
and windy as shit. And he builds
tree houses. I wanted to ask him the
other day. He might build tree houses.
I'm sure he does. Yeah, he does. Big tree houses, like 140 square feet. But I think it was even bigger. I'm not
sure. But I've noticed nowadays they've got very good insulated, isolated, waterproof gloves with heating with heating yeah that's uh you know it when you're the difference
between working in like the midwest in the middle of canada compared to say ontario quebec or bc
is it's as dry as a fucking bone like in alberta and man saskatchewan manitoba in the winter it's
dry as a bone like you're not gonna unless you fall on a river or the lake, you're not going to,
you're not going to get wet.
You actually want breathable material.
Like I would just wear, layer up in wool because you, you sweat so much.
It might be minus 30, but when you start working, your body heat gets going.
You sweat like a mother.
Even when it's minus 30, you sweat like a motherfucker.
And if you're not wearing wearing good wool that breathes,
then you get wet from the inside.
And then when you stop working as much,
you fucking freeze.
You work up a mighty sweat when you're pulling up the pipe.
You know what I mean, bro?
So that marina wool and like just wool,
wool coverings in those environments for sure.
Or else you're, yeah, organics and wool,
or else you'll, you'll end up freezing in your fucking sweat.
And the other part of Canada is that wet.
Pardon me?
The other part is that wet.
Yeah, I'm in BC, so I'm in a rainforest.
It's been like an atmospheric river here for the last fucking week.
Doesn't that feel colder?
Yeah, it gets to the bones.
I got quite a lot of metal in my body, too.
I've had quite a few reconstructive surgeries. So yeah, when it gets, when it gets
damp, especially, you know, it's funny, it's not even the metal that I feel. The worst one is my,
is around my hip. Cause I had an IM nail put into my femur. So what then, and so they fucking pull
your femur out of the hip joint and pound the rod down through your femur.
So that thing actually feels the ring of the mouth is my hip, which is weird.
Oh my God, oh my God.
Did you use the ride bikes?
It was a bike.
How did you know?
I rode bikes because I had too many bike accidents.
Yeah, I've had a couple.
Yeah, because I rode off-road for a long time and then I got into street bikes. So yeah, I've had a couple. Yeah, because I rode off-road for a long time, and then I got into street bikes. So yeah, I've had a couple.
I rode off-road, under the road, next to the road, sideways off the road, upside down on the road.
Yeah, all of the above, eh? All of the above. I appreciate you coming in, man. Lord, Neil, it seems like you know a few of our friends from the music spaces, so you must be a consumer and a listener of music, so I appreciate it, man.
It was nice to be here.
I've got to leave you guys alone.
I've got something to do, but I'll listen in the meantime.
I'm listening.
I'm just not going to be reacting, okay?
No worries, man.
I appreciate it.
God bless.
Who's this?
This is Dr. Bruce.
This is another thing too.
A lot of these people, in my opinion, in these music spaces are highly underrated.
Dr. Bruce is... I took a ride, money comes, money goes, better let those feelings die. It's a cold world that you see here before your eyes.
Just be strong, keep on, I know you're gonna be fine.
All my life, I done push through the struggle and always get bustling.
All my life, I stay out in the ground and gain to be bustling.
All my life, I done push through the struggle and always get bustling. Now I'm gonna make it, so I push through my troubles and Yeah, that's All My Life by Dr. Bruce, AKA Bad Karma.
Pardon me choking on my coffee here.
One thing we should talk about too is like,
I feel like marketing on X should be a part of the conversation.
One thing I hate is when I go to try to find a,
especially if you're a musician or artist
or someone who's really trying to expand reach and growth,
and if your name and your at are two different things,
especially after updates, like I can't find you.
You know what I mean?
But anyway, that's Dr. Bruce, a.k.auce aka bad karma so i think his at is actually bad karma but uh super dope artist out here highly
underrated um anyway i want to so come to the bottom of the hour here i'm going to keep these
things to two hours so we got about 15 minutes left here i want to tap in with mella maybe she'll
bless us with another uh live tune or maybe some more conversation before we
we head out here and then Joseph if you want to if you want to send me another Maya joint I can
maybe close us out with that I want to say let's say hello to Suavecito man that came up how you
doing man yo what's up bro some jewels oh yeah hey Mela what's going, bro? What's up, Jules? Oh, yeah. Hey, Maud. What's going on, guys?
We're doing our thing here,
a little music and markets chat on X.
I don't really know nothing,
but I'll ramble a bit
and hopefully talk to some people who are not.
I mean, well, I'm selling myself short a bit,
but yeah, harbor some conversations
about music and markets on X,
so whether it's conversations in gold and S&P
or the Bitcoin market,
which I like to trade personally,
and then blend it in with all these lovely musicians and artists
that we have on the platform in a little radio segment.
Hey, let's go.
Okay, okay.
Are you going to be doing this on a regular basis?
I'm going to do this Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays from –
So what is that?
It's going to be noon EST to 3 p.m.
Noon to 3 p.m. EST.
That's 9 p.m.
Or sorry, 2 p.m.
And then 9 p.m. to 11.
Oh, my fucking God, man.
I needed more coffee or less coffee this morning.
I'm not sure.
But I'm struggling with the time zones here.
I started this at 9 a.m. my time.
I'm going to go to 11 a.m.
I believe that's noon to 2 EST, Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
That's a more coffee
Maybe more coffee.
Whenever I have too much coffee, I do that.
I start rambling.
Just rambling and tripping over the
words and jumbling the sentence back
and forth. It's my Lex Dixia.
Lex Dixia lex dixia let's go yeah no i don't think i have that yeah what are you up to man how are you doing how's uh what do you
what are you starting this week off with oh i'm good i'm good um so i'm in real estate
and the winter time is like the winter months is like kind of where i settle into some research
um so i'm in hibernation mode for the most part.
But I'm also looking at a couple other things to do and get into.
Because I actually don't like not doing a whole lot.
You know what I mean?
It's terrible for my mental health.
You don't like the slow months because moving keeps you more sane.
Yes. Is that what you're saying? A yeah absolutely you know yeah yeah it's funny because i i've battled with
that like i was really a workaholic young um you know my life started really young you know what
i mean without getting into it too much like my you know need to work and
sustain started young you know what i mean so like i was a workaholic to just bury that shit
for a lot of years uh like through my teen years uh and then all through my fucking 20s and then
up right up till you know the last couple of years that i've had to like more time to slow down and
could just kind of enjoy my life so i'm like i'm at the i'm like
it's a double-edged sword for me because i agree where it's like i now it's like when i like you
know spend more time relaxing or just enjoying the view it's like now it's like okay but i'm
an adult now i feel like my ability to process the information from earlier is is is stronger now so
um but i get it man i get it the, you know, like I said, it's been absolutely fucking pouring rain here for a week, which keeps me inside.
And I like to be outside a lot.
So, yeah, man, winter months are slow, but we have this app, X, and we get to connect with each other.
And bounce it back and forth.
So what did you say?
Well, I said, hell yes.
This is the best part about X.
I thought you said fuck X.
No, no, no.
I always say that. This is the best part about it. I thought you said fuck Axe. No, no, no. I'm always going to say that.
That's funny.
I mean, I have critiques, but I'm not going to say fuck Axe.
It's crazy.
I think it was 1G that said it the other night.
We got to look at the positives, man.
It gives us the ability to hang out, connect with each other on here.
Because a lot of us, if you're anything like me, I stick to myself a lot like i've got a handful of friends that i've kept you know over 20 years or whatever
but really i keep myself a lot you know i mean i work and i do what i gotta do and then i spend my
time with my dogs or hiking fishing and you know i don't i don't really hunt too much anymore but
maybe i'll get back into that you know what i mean like yeah i don't know man i just uh
i i really enjoy these spaces so that's what i you know this starting this space too is another
it's like you know kind of holding not only myself accountable to myself and doing more to connect
with people but also you know doing what i can to contribute to the community that's given me so much on spaces
just enjoying the music and everything else right so how can i do that i i enjoy the music i enjoy
spinning the music so i can talk in a radio show and i also like chatting the markets and i can i
can read a chart fairly fairly well and i've been trading for a half a decade now or something right
so yeah man that's uh that's the vibe here yeah, we're all fucking human beings. We all go through these trials and tribulations.
Winter is not easy for anybody.
Well, I mean, maybe it is easy for you.
Maybe you're happy in the winter,
but I'm kind of like Suavecito
where I struggle with that too.
Anyway, we got one more speaker here.
I'm going to wrap this thing up in about 10 minutes.
Like I said, I want to keep it to two hours.
So that's about 10 minutes from now one more speaker we got blink
measy that just came up we'll say what's up and then uh i want to tap in with mella like i said
did you want to play another one mella before you head out or it's up to you yeah sure i can play
okay uh yeah blink what's going on he might have just came in on the speaker panel without knowing
He might have just came in on the speaker panel without knowing.
Yeah, that's fine.
I've got the speakers open, so he might have just, if he's following me, he can just pop out stage.
He might not even know that he's here.
Anyway, all right then.
Mella, do you want to take us away with another ride?
Let's see.
Sorry, I've been kind of multitasking, but I have been listening to the conversation.
It's been fun.
I like these spaces, especially on Mondays.
Monday morning's a good time for it.
It's much appreciated that you're here, Mella.
Yeah. Take your shoes off, hang your coat, stay white, baby, it's cold out there
We could play a crokinole, you always win, no it's not fair
It's okay, I love that smile, always stare
Promise me you'll never leave Oh dear, still care
I know that you say it
I wanna see it, I want you to cry
So I know that you love me
I want you to hurt
So I know that you care I want you to fight when you get angry So I know that your heart is still there
I've been hurt, I've been wronged
I've played alone to silly games
On the surface it seems so perfect
Until it's too late
Maybe we could say the things
We seem to hide away, hide away
You and me, we are a team
This year, a child's play
I know that you say it, but I want to see it
I want you to cry, so I know that you love me
I want you to hurt, so I know that you care.
I want you to fight when you get angry.
So I know that your heart is still there
So I know that your heart is still there.
All right!
Mella B, ladies and gentlemen,
Canadian singer-songwriter.
Thank you so much for hanging out.
Really do appreciate it, Mella.
You can check her out,
space once a week in the Bloom Room.
Excellent conversations about personal growth in that space as well.
Again, I think everybody is looking for ways to be more accountable
to not only themselves, but the community they're trying to connect with on X.
And I think Mela is doing a great job at hosting that conversation as well.
So definitely check her out.
Myself, you can check out Monday, Wednesday, Fridays on this show.
And it seems like, you know, audience is actually picking up a bit later.
So maybe I can even run it later. I was feeling like i wasn't doing it earlier enough but i wonder
it just because of the difference in our time zones if um a little bit later might even be
better for me pushing in an hour longer uh but that is just not your problem mella did you want
mella cara joseph suavecito you guys want to wrap us up with any thoughts?
Let's go to Mela first after that song.
You want to tell us where we can find you and what you're doing?
Yeah, sure.
As usual, the link in the bio will take you to all of my stuff.
So if you want to listen to my music, it's available on all platforms.
I have some new stuff coming out very soon. So I'm very excited about that.
And then yeah, regards to the the bloom room, I started the community on school as well,
just to kind of have another place for the conversation to continue. And I'm kind of
using it as a way to create like, tangible, like prompts and stuff that we can use as a community to kind of keep us on
track together because I know that regardless of what you're doing whether it's music or any other
form of creative outlet or entrepreneurship whatever it is it can be quite lonely and it
can be hard especially on Mondays it can be hard to conceptualize what you know,
your days, what your weeks, what your months, what your year should look like. So yeah, I'm
treating the bloom room as a cool way for us to connect in that in that regard. And not only hold
each other accountable, but also just be there for each other. Because like I said, it can be quite lonesome.
So I actually posted one of those prompts today.
It's like a Monday reset prompt.
I went ahead and I answered the prompt in the comments myself. So that way nobody's got to be first.
But yeah, so if you click the link in my bio, you'll see there's the school community on there as well.
I think it's the little button that's jiggling.
It's wiggling to entice you to click it.
So, but yeah, I would love to have more people in there.
It's free to join, by the way.
It's free to join.
I'm going to use it for multiple different purposes.
But so far, it's for, you know, exactly what I was just saying.
But I might be putting up some vocal lesson stuff on there, some piano, some guitar stuff. I don't know, just using it as a way to
share information that I have. Um, just cause I know that there's a lot of musicians in the space
that could benefit from that stuff as well. Um, and after, I think I started back in August,
I started teaching at this school in person, teaching music lessons in person at jam school.
And I feel adequately prepared to be able, because I've done some virtual lessons and stuff too,
I feel adequately prepared to be able to help people in that regard now after some time.
So yeah, I would love to have as many people join that community as possible and i
appreciate the opportunity to to shill it a little bit thanks jules yeah absolutely that is the whole
point of music and markets or markets and music i feel like i lex dixie had the title between what
i was posting last week too uh but yeah thank you mella i just i honestly am like you know i don't
want to say i'm your number one fan but like I spin a lot of your music anyways.
Like, you know what I mean?
Like I've connected with your music for a long time.
So I really appreciate you like showing up and being a part of these conversations.
Like I'm really grateful that you're, that you're coming through.
So happy to let you show up.
But this space is to definitely promote all the artists that I've grown to know.
Like any artist, like whatever.
It's just going to be a radio show.
Like I want to, I really think that there's room for, you know,
more human creativity to be shared and connect with on X.
Like I think that's what everybody's really craving in this kind of,
you know, robotic and AI development.
But yeah, anyway, so yeah, check Mela out in the Bloom Room.
Go to Joseph there.
Joseph, you want to say what's up or say anything about my life maya or oh yeah tomorrow plug your space
for tomorrow morning yeah just uh hit on anybody's you know uh link that's right there me my it was
maya steak or zam we'll all be in there uh noon, East Coast time. Mella, thank you.
Great to hear you live.
And everybody, wonderful space.
Appreciate it, Joseph.
Yeah, yeah.
Just, yeah, yeah.
I, yeah, yeah.
My thing is, like, I really hope I just stay accountable.
Because I tried a space, like, I ran a space for about three months last year.
But I was doing it five, five days a week in the morning uh for I didn't it was like it was yeah anyway just
in last I hope I hope I stick it out like it's not really like I said it's not really about the
numbers kind of trying to trying to hold myself accountable to to being connected um and and
sharing the music and getting it out there but yeah yeah, we'll see how it goes, man.
I appreciate you coming through.
Yeah, man, life happens to everybody.
But yeah, the goal, we'll break it down to three days a week.
Hopefully it'll burn out, keep it to a couple hours.
And yeah, focus more on, like I said, the creativity.
It doesn't have to be music.
If you're an artist in the space and you're making,
like I don't want people to think it's not just about,
or it's only about music. Like I really value just artists and creativity in general and so that could
be just digital collectibles and NFTs and things like that like if people want to buy NFTs because
they just resonate with the art like there's I've heard of music NFTs being purchased because
somebody just liked what the NFT was the visual was and what each side of the NFT product itself
did they didn't even care or know
about the music specifically so i think there's just a lot of room for creativity and like you
know real art and real artists in the space and that doesn't have to be music so um you know i'm
happy to to like you got i got dude and nuts here i don't even know i should probably look into it i
have no idea what that project is i'm guessing that's some sort of nft project i see these these
pieces around and they're interesting, right?
They're not like what you'd usually see,
and they actually look like they were, you know,
potentially not made by AI.
You never know.
So, yeah, happy to just really, you know,
put on for any artist in this space
and make it more of a radio show.
It's not about me trying to build as an individual out here.
This is why I wanted to do it from Kara's community.
Kara's like a huge part of the reason I've been able to connect with people more out here, share my music more, get involved in the conversation more.
Because I'm really just like, you know, aside from just conversing bullshit and TA because I like the idea of trading and the idea that I can get ahead.
Like I really have just been a man of few words on this app and just like to hang out in the music spaces. So huge kudos to Kara for just kind of getting me out of my shell,
making me co-host, drop the mic spaces with her,
and really connect with these music artists and potentially making music more than a hobby for me,
which has always been, you know what I mean?
Because, like, fuck, I've made dozens of songs and I've just never put them out.
I just really enjoy the process.
But, yeah, Thanos and I got an album coming this year,
and I'll probably drop a bunch of personal music as well um so I'm looking forward to that but um yeah the goal is
for for everybody to come together here so if you're an artist you want to come and talk about
an NFT project that you know is potentially hopefully created by a real artist and not just
AI extraction slot no offense offense to those people.
But yeah, anyway, that's a lot.
I'm saying too much at this point.
Suavecito, Karamia,
do you guys want to say something
before I wrap up?
I got another song by Maya I'll play here.
No, I actually can't wait to come back
for your next show.
Wednesday, right?
Yeah, Monday, Wednesday, Fridays.
And I might, we'll see.
Yeah, if I bump it an hour, you'll just see the post.
But yeah, it seemed like more people started popping in and out as the time went on there.
So yeah, anyways, Cara Mia, would you like to say anything?
Great space.
I'm really happy to see you doing this.
you doing this appreciate it thank you care um yeah check out kara myself stash every thursday
Appreciate it.
Thank you, Cara.
