Yeah, I get to speak before we get started guys. We're gonna wait for a couple more people to join and then we're gonna talk about all the things Joshua it's super super super nice to meet you. I've got a couple questions. So I'm excited to chat with you But too bad we don't have Alex here playing his emo music from sysquim because we all
I don't know that Alex loves dashboard professionals. He loves his emo music. And oh, there's Alex got to get the room. Hi, Alex. What's going on? We don't have any emo music from you. Come on, man. Come on. I'm just kidding, guys. But you have a couple more minutes. I just retweeted this. If you all can do me a favor. Oh, Alex is a co-host now.#
better play that music. Did someone say dashboard confessional? Shut up. Also to you guys I like to joke around a bit so you'll hear me joking and laughing because that's what we do. That's when I joke and laugh it's a really great way to kind of break the ice. I'm not the most tech savvy person and
And it just makes things easier for everybody to understand. That's why we've got super smart people like the guys from the folks from Cisco and Joshua from super articles talk about stuff, but do me a favor if you're in the chat or if you're in the space right now. Please drop a comment and retweet the space we'd like to get more people here just to do some basic education.
Shimble, wait about one more minute Alex plays some music for us all we wait I'm just really excited to have all these smart people on this spaces and Wendy How do you say how do you say Larry and us menu?
Larry? Yeah, say it, say it in Spanish. Larry. That's it? Like the name Larry? Well, because I always say, listen Larry, but anytime you say like a name in Spanish, you say something in Spanish, the translations from English and Spanish is always like way more dramatic and it just sounds so much funnier.
a school chame Larry. No, there's no Larry in Spanish. Oh, you got me. Stump me on that one. All right. I'm going to shut up now. Do you guys want to, you guys ready to get started? First off, Josh, how are you?
I'm great glad to be here. I'm excited to talk to you. Is it Josh or Joshua? You can call me Josh, not a problem. Okay. I like Josh better. So before we get started, I would like you just to give the audience a quick brief on what is it and it's super or super. Super super. Yeah.
Okay, so give us like a quick breakdown of what that is. I need to know, well, I already know what it is, but I want you to explain it in basic terms to the entire audience. So they know about it and they can start to understand why we're having this discussion with Super at Oracle's and Cisco.
So you know blockchains in general they are closed loop systems. They don't communicate with the outside world. They don't communicate with each other. Anytime you need to get external data on chain, do crushing communication, bring on randomness to a blockchain. These things all require oracles. And what we do at Super
that's different than others is that we were actually applying layer one consensus principles to solve the Oracle problem. And we've taken this problem deep and far and have created a very innovative and clever solution to try to fix the Oracle problem once and for all. So, you know, you
I might have all heard of DeFi Summer a couple years ago and how there's so many Oracle manipulation hacks. We're actively looking at strategies and then approaches to make these, make these people. And yeah, so that's the high level what Oracle's are. They can help smart contracts do so many more things that they otherwise would not be able to do.
I've got a quick question. So we hear, well, I've got two actually, but we hear about like because everybody was super bullish on chain link for quite some time because it was like one of the top oracles that were available in the space and it was like chain link, chain link, chain link. But I noticed that your guys' response time is quite faster than chain link.
Can you kind of talk to us a little bit about that and then I've got another question to kind of piggyback on that. Yeah, absolutely. So, you know, first of all, you got to give Chainlink credit where credit is due. They're the first move in the states, right? Now, oftentimes that gives you a huge advantage, but that doesn't mean that there should only be one dominant Oracle.
really healthy to have competition. Now there are three categories that really matter in the Oracle space. The first one is data accuracy and security, but the second one, as you are alluding to, is speed or finality. Now, Supra, we actually, our backbone technology are core consensus algorithm. This isn't really public yet.
But it is appearing to be the fastest in the world. And because our underlying backbone technology is an extremely fast finality layer one technology for finality, we're going to have the fast finality oracle. Now you can't deliver oracle data to other ecosystems until it's final first, right? So you need that finality.
And the Oracle that has a fast finality that can deliver that technology, not the technology, but deliver the Oracle data to the destination chain. The fastest and that smart contract that ingests that data is going to have the advantage over a smart contract on that same chain that ingests data slower from a slower Oracle.
Okay, so we all know that a lot of NFTs utilize smart contracts and that seems to be very important, especially when we're talking about IP and royalties and like all of those different things. Are you saying
that super oracle is going to be able to help facilitate those types of initiatives faster. You know, so the final I was referring to has to do with us communicating with multiple
