I'm good, thanks.
Thanks everyone for joining.
Looking forward to this space.
We also have Trey in the building, another core team member.
How are we doing, Trey?
Happy Friday.
Hey, happy Friday.
Really looking forward to hearing what these projects have to bring today.
Thank you, Trey.
We do also have more team members.
Some of them, one of them, which is Miss Evie.
She's running a little late to the space tonight because she's got some IRL stuff to handle.
We also have Mike Smart, who's also the CEO of Meta Builders.
He's always working hard, building, developing, networking, so he may join us, he may not.
But either way, he's in support of who we are and what we do always because he's helped hugely.
So, in the meantime, we've got Paul Pilar on stage.
So, because you're here first and we will feature you first tonight.
Paul Pilar, welcome to the stage.
Thank you for joining us.
Happy Friday.
Hey, happy Friday.
Thanks for having me.
Great to be here finally.
Yeah, definitely.
Super excited.
I've been really looking forward to this, actually.
And, you know, we appreciate you taking an hour out of your night if you choose to utilize the full hour to join us.
So, we appreciate that.
Yeah, no problem.
I'm here for the next couple of hours either way.
So, I'm good.
Well, that's awesome.
We appreciate it, you know, because it means a lot to us.
And, you know, we have people who listen to the space, but we also, we probably have more people who listen back to the space.
When we initially, originally started our spaces at 9pm UK time, it was a very quiet time in regards of any other spaces.
But then over time, more and more projects have been putting spaces on at the same time.
So, they can't always join, but they do, to be fair, which is awesome.
They do listen back to the recording later.
But we also upload them to YouTube as well, to turn it into a podcast, just to increase the reach and help also highlight your project even more.
And we also sometimes break down the content a little bit and make some YouTube shorts and stuff.
So, we do try and keep it as clean as we possibly can.
Obviously, we're all human.
We're all adults.
So, swearing, you know, happens.
But if we can keep it to a minimum, that would be awesome.
No worries.
I don't swear.
So, I'm good.
Well, I can't.
Many people do and that's totally fine.
We're not against it.
We just obviously, mainly for editing purposes, but also the more child friendly we can keep it, the more we can promote it everywhere without any problems.
So, yeah, it's just more of a win-win situation, really.
So, we'd like to start these spaces by sort of getting an understanding of your journey into Web3.
So, like, you know, how did you get started and then how did you sort of progress from there?
Myself, I've been in tech since 2000.
I went to school.
I might be a little older than most of you guys here, but I went to school, business school, then I studied some computer science.
And I've been in tech since 2020, sorry, 2000.
I entered the Web3 crypto space in 2011, mainly as an investor like everyone else and a student.
So, I've been learning for the past, you know, 12 years or so.
Understanding everything about, you know, blockchain, you know, and everything, NFTs as well.
And, you know, we started Poplar in 2013 as well.
So, we've been around for 10 years.
December 13th will be our 10th year as a company.
So, mainly I've been in tech building, you know, different software for different companies.
I have a company as well that we build the software for Poplar.
And we've built other software, you know, in the past, apps as well.
And we don't do websites anymore, but we do mainly web-based applications, you know, even .NET applications for Windows.
We do apps for iPhones, Android and whatnot, stuff like that.
So, that's my journey, myself.
And I can speak about Poplar at the moment, if that's okay.
We started Poplar in 2013, mainly as a global platform for animal lovers to share information.
So, mainly for pet parenting tips and adoption and lost pets.
There was a lot of lost pets everywhere.
And then we had an app where, you know, people lost their pets.
And they can just send out a notification within the radius of where they live.
And it sends a notification to whoever in that area.
It could be five people, ten people, but at least they're all pet lovers.
And with that, they can help you out with finding your pet.
And we grew to almost 100,000 users, mainly on Web2.
And we are in Canada, basically based in Toronto, Canada.
So, almost three years ago, we entered the Web3 NFT space.
We are on Polygon.
And we're mainly focusing on animal warfare.
So, our first step towards our Web3 vision is a walk-to-earn Gamify app, which is available currently in beta.
We're hoping to get out of beta by the end of January, hopefully.
It's a free app, available on Android and iOS.
The app promotes healthy lifestyles for pets and their owners.
So, the way the app works right now, you have to walk 10,000 steps daily.
And you're supposed to take your pets out for walks twice a day.
So, two daily walks, each lasting at least 30 minutes and 1,000 steps away from your home.
And there's a two-hour difference in between.
So, you start your first walk manually.
You do your 30 minutes, at least 1,000 steps.
And then you have to wait two hours before you start your second walk.
And when you do all of that, you earn 10 tokens daily.
These are just a beta side of you at the moment.
Eventually, you'll be able to walk more than one pet.
But you need to acquire different NFTs.
So, at the moment, you don't need an NFT.
It's a free app.
Anyone can download it.
Anybody can earn.
After that, we will be releasing our Petsco Caller NFT.
And with that, you can add additional pets by staking that NFT to an extra pet.
Let's say, myself, I have four pets.
I would acquire three more NFTs.
And now, I can take all my pets out for a walk.
At the same time, I earn a multiplier of four tokens per day.
So, it would be 40 tokens daily instead of 10.
We have some key features for our community.
So, for pet parents, you can share ownership of your pets with your family members.
With that, let's say I own the NFTs.
I can't walk my pets today.
A family member of mine that I share ownership with can walk the pets
and earn the same amount of NFTs that I would myself.
You can create NFTs of your pets.
And you can create an avatar NFT of your pets that will live on the blockchain forever, even after your pets pass away.
And on top of that, you can maintain pet records and more.
So, all pet records will be maintained on Popular.
So, let's say you switch the vets.
A couple of years back, I had to switch to a veterinarian.
So, it cost me about $200 to just bring my records over.
So, with Popular, you can maintain your own records.
And with that, whenever you switch to veterinarians or you can have access to your records anytime, all powered by the blockchain.
In the past, we did have giveaways.
So, you can engage in giveaways.
The giveaways were in the form of digital products.
So, let's say a company that has a new food for dogs, then they want to give it out in, we say, Toronto, Canada.
We know everyone who has a dog in Toronto, Canada, and what we do, we just drop them a digital coupon and they go pick it up from, you know, PetSmart and whatnot.
We will have a profit sharing from ads on the platform.
So, we'll have ads on the platform.
With that, you have the option to turn that off and on.
And if you do turn it on, we do 50-50 profit sharing from all ads, for all money generated from ads.
So, these are some of the key features for our community.
So, a few key features now for businesses.
So, we have a business NFT section, which is NFT as a service provider.
So, we invite pet service providers to join our platform through business NFT.
With that, they can offer the services to our community.
So, all animal service providers can list on popular and run their business through our platform only by acquiring an NFT.
So, there's no monthly fees for that.
With that, we give them essential tools to run their business.
For example, a booking system, a calendar, invoicing, a way to run their team, and so many different other options that we did have on Web 2.
And we were bridging over to Web 3.
On top of that, they can take payments in cryptocurrency.
And they can create their own NFTs as well.
So, if they're deemed to create some utility NFTs, they can do that on our platform.
We do have a social impact section as well.
With that, non-profit organizations can list on popular by going through a manual process.
So, whoever lists, they put in their application and we review each one manually to make sure they are actually non-profit.
With that, we give them a platform to create their utility NFTs as well and accept donations in the form of cryptocurrency and NFTs.
And all users can allocate the percentage of their tokens earned daily by setting up an automatic...
So, let's say if I want to do 25% of my daily tokens earned towards a certain non-profit, I can do that and the system will do that automatically for me.
So, we will have an adoption section as well, which we did have in the past, but this time is only available for non-profits.
With that, we give our users the chance to pay for the adoption fees.
So, all our users can actually pay for the adoption fees by allocating their tokens, their NFTs and other cryptocurrency as well.
We will start with Polygon and eventually we will probably add different cryptocurrency as we go on.
All adoptions are recorded on the blockchain for transparency reasons.
As well, we have an assisting animal needs section that is anywhere in the world if you see a homeless animal or an animal that's in need.
You can take a pic, drop a pin and then an alert will go out.
With that, anyone that's in the area will receive the alert.
They can either donate their earnings or they donate their other cryptocurrency or they can actually allocate their time.
So, if they don't have any funds, they can help physically with that.
We put a physical tracker together, which is an IoT tracker, which uses an ultra-wideband technology, 5G, different than GPS.
GPS is always better, but with that, what it does is connects to any Android phone, iOS phone, and any phone that has a popular app on it as well.
What it does, it connects your NFTs to your pet.
That way, now we know that you actually walk in your pet.
And with that, you get more than tokens as rewards.
You will get, you know, NFT rewards in the form of, you know, vet visits and, you know, roommate visits and whatnot as well.
And what the tracker does is it monitors pet activity levels, for example, steps taken daily, calories burned, active minutes.
And it has a built-in NFC.
So, if anybody finds that pet, they can scan a QR code on it.
And with that, it takes them to our website.
They can scan the NFC and they find out who owns that pet.
When the NFC gets scanned, the owner of the pet gets a notification automatically that their pet was found at that particular location.
And anyone that has a popular app within a certain radius of where the tracker gets scanned, they will receive a notification to see if they can help as well with that.
So, these are some of the key features.
So, we are allocating 24% of all our tokens to donations, adoption fees, assistance for strays, and changing outdated laws.
We know there's a lot of bad laws out there that don't favor animals.
And we're here to change that.
So, these are the features that we have.
We will be having, our app is released.
We have about 20,000 downloads so far on beta.
We will be having some updates coming up by the end of this month, early next month.
You know, step challenges for your, with your pets and step challenges by yourself.
As well as we will have community challenges.
So, communities can challenge each other, you know.
And then, that way we can see who from our community is actually walking.
Because most of us are, you know, in tech, we just sit on our desk all day.
We don't walk as much.
So, we're just creating some, we're just creating ways to help people get out of their house and walk with their pets.
And even by themselves to create a healthier lifestyle as well.
So, that's what I have.
So, it's just a small project then, isn't it?
It's just a small project this is.
You've got so much stuff going on.
It's crazy.
That's, I mean, we've been around for 10 years and we've tried.
We've done a lot of small things to help animals, but we just want to make a bigger change.
And then, we have a lot of partnerships happening at the moment.
And real life stuff with, you know, wolf punks as well.
I met Brandon last month in the US, face-to-face.
And we read on certain things to how, you know, to combine certain things that we do.
You know, they do certain things.
We do certain things.
We combine them together.
That way, we can just do them together instead of wasting our resources or, you know, do them separately.
And, yeah, we're connecting with a lot of other projects as well just to, I mean, to make a change.
We love animals.
Most of us do.
We just want to make a change in the world.
And now, we love tech as well.
We're in Web3.
So, we're combining them together and try to make a bigger change around.
That is absolutely fantastic.
I must add, I think that that's brilliant because it's clear to see that this is a passion-driven project.
And that's why we like to ask, you know, how did you get into the industry?
You know, we like to, you know, really emphasize on what you're doing and why.
Because I think that's extremely important for people to try and really warm to what it is that you're doing.
Because, you know, one of the hardest things to distinguish in an industry like this are people's intentions.
And that's the thing people are more skeptical of.
And rightly so as well.
So, it's brilliant to listen to someone's passion and get a better understanding of what it is that you're trying to accomplish and how you're trying to do that.
And it helps really shine a light on where you're trying to take your ecosystem.
But I think that it's brilliant that you've managed to integrate multiple things that you're passionate about and help it add value to both sides.
I think that's a really difficult thing to do.
And it sounds like, you know, a lot of time and energy has gone into making that a possibility.
And that's really, really impressive, I must add.
Thank you so much.
It all begins, I live in Canada at the moment, but I come from a third world country before I came to Canada, which mainly in the Middle East.
So, the way people treat animals there is just not the way you want to see it.
But it's just not because of people are cruel, just because of what they see and what they learn.
So, you know, you're born there, you grow up and you see it daily.
So, you think it's natural.
So, then I moved to Canada around 1990.
And I see how people treat their animals here.
And I was shocked that, you know, how we did treat animals back home and how people treat their animals here.
So, that's where my perspective has changed.
And that's what I wanted to do, what I wanted to do, because we always had animals back home.
You know, my parents always had dogs and cats and whatnot.
And we loved them a lot.
And, you know, most people leave their animals outside.
And then there's a lot of stray dogs and cats and they all have rabies and stuff like that.
And people just, you know, end up abusing them.
So, it's just a tough world out there.
But, you know, when I came here, my mind has changed.
And then it changed a lot over the years.
And that's what I wanted to do.
I wanted to do this more to help, you know, mainly worldwide.
Because in Canada and the US, I know there's still a lot of, you know, bad spots out there.
But it's nothing compared to like a third world country.
So, my main thing is to help in a lot of third world countries.
Because now with social media and then people are seeing other countries, it has changed a lot since I left.
You know, there's sanctuaries now.
There's a lot of more people having pets in their home.
So, it has, it did change a lot.
And that's what's opened up my mind and my eyes, I mean.
And that's why I wanted to do this.
And I've been doing it for a long time.
Even before I started popular, you know, I just wanted to, you know, helping animals, saving animals, donating as much as I can.
And I've been running this for the past 10 years mainly on, you know, we haven't raised any money.
It's only mainly like, you know, we work hard to just keep this going and then make it happen and then grow it from there.
So, to make a change, we don't want like, we don't want to bring somebody in and then that way they take over and then make this only a business in a way, right?
So, we just, it's not only about, you know, it's mainly about making a change for us in the world before we leave.
So, that's what we are, that's why we built this.
And as well, with the Web3 side, again, like I said, I come from a third world country.
So, where my country, where I come from is that what the banks did is, you know, all your money that you had in the bank, the bank lent them to the government.
And what the government did is just, they went bankrupt. So, all your money that you had in the bank, in your bank account disappeared.
So, at the end of the day, everybody in my country lost their money.
So, that's why most of us there love Web3, we love crypto, that way, you know, you are, you know, everything is bankless.
You are your own bank and you're in charge of everything together.
And that's where my journey started with Web3 and me, you know, being eager and learning, you know, since 2011.
And, you know, we combined both together and that's where we are today.
So, whereabouts are you sort of within this kind of roadmap?
How much of this stuff is out there and sort of working and doing the things?
So, at the moment, the app has been released.
At the moment, right now, we're working on the next phase, which you will be able to stake your NFTs.
And, excuse me, just a little sec.
So, you'll be able to stake your NFTs to your pets and that way you can walk more than one pet at a time.
And hopefully, we'll have that done around the end of January, early February.
And then, I guess, we'll go from there with that.
That's our next, on our roadmap, that's our next phase.
And then, after that, we'll be releasing our token and then working towards our tracker.
So, we're hoping maybe April, May or next year, we'll have the tracker available.
And then, by then, maybe mid-year, we'll have a service provider section available.
It doesn't have to be fully built, but we just, you know, release what we have built.
We've built in the past.
We've had that section available in the past.
So, we'll just be bridging it over and then updating the code and whatnot.
And then, we'll go from there.
So, we're mainly in the second phase of our roadmap at the moment.
And we're hoping to build and be ready for the bull market and then, that way, take off from there.
Yeah, no, that's absolutely brilliant.
And, you know, it's interesting that you say that, you know, you came from a third world country and you got to really see that, you know, animals aren't being treated the way that feels morally wrong.
And I think that's really important because, you know, regardless of how you're educated, when something doesn't feel right, that's what you go with.
You go with your gut, don't you?
You go with how you feel about a situation.
And I just think that it's a really amazing concept that, you know, you recognize the problem in the world and you wanted to do your part to try and change that.
And you integrated that into something you understood and was passionate about to create the ecosystem that you're currently creating right now.
And it's, you know, it's really brilliant to see.
And I think having that fueling you to fuel your ecosystem, I think will, you know, be very obvious to people that are looking at what it is that you're building and want to play their part in helping add value to that.
I mean, yeah, you know, everything that I've experienced in my life brought me to where I am today.
And, you know, the experiences that I went through in a way, you know, even when I was younger, you know, most of my time spent in my country was, you know, when I was younger, until I was, you know, early teenage years.
But I saw everything that I needed to see that at the same time, we lived in a war time.
So when I was there, war was going on and then it gets worse in the war.
So, you know, even before the war, people abused animals and whatnot.
When you're in the middle of the war, like you don't care, you know, at the end of the day, everybody cares about themselves, about survival.
So animals were like classed.
So that was, that was the thing.
And it did teach me a lot, because, you know, we did have animals ourselves, we'd have dogs and cats, and then we loved them so much, but we didn't understand how people were.
And by coming to Canada, you know, like, and seeing it here firsthand, and that's, that has, you know, at that time, like, I need to make a change.
And the good thing is, you know, making a change in a third world country is a lot more, in a way feasible than it is like hearing, you know, like, in the US and Canada and Europe and whatnot.
Like, you know, like, you know, I connect with a nonprofit back home, and they do feel like they, I donate a certain amount of money every month, and like $1,000 can feed like three, 350 dogs a month.
So it's like, it's a lot more feasible to do it there than doing it here.
Not saying that I don't want to do it here, because we want to build a sanctuary in the US and in Canada, as well for, for, for disabled animals as well to help as much as we can.
But yeah, experiences, you know, put me to where I am today.
And even with tech as well, and with crypto, you know, love Web3, love, love everyone in Web3, people always helpful way more than Web2.
And, you know, it's been, it's been a great journey so far.
We just, you know, we, we did have our release of our NFT.
It was sold out, it was free NFT, but we sold out in July.
It's, you know, that I don't, I know some of you guys maybe have the NFT.
The NFT, it's the story behind the NFT.
It's a, it's an elephant NFT, which is crying elephant NFT.
And we'll have a, we'll have different, different animals as we go with the same story.
The story behind that, it came from poaching.
So the, the point of this, this elephant is, you know, the, the head, the head is an elephant.
The body is a human being.
And, you know, we are humans.
We're killing elephants for their tasks.
So what, so what the body is, is breaking the task of the elephant and the elephant's crying.
That's why it's called cry elephant.
So that's the story behind that NFT.
And then we will have, then our next one will be a rhino NFT as well.
And then we, we will have that hopefully towards mid year or so.
And 50% of the sales of this, of that NFT will go towards helping poaching in Africa.
So 50% of that will go straight directly to that on top of other tokens that we're actually allocating to, you know, to donations and adoption fees and a system for strays as well.
So we'll be helping a lot of nonprofits with when, when we build our business and our token has more value, you know, than what it would at the start.
Yeah, that's brilliant.
And, you know, it's, it's great to talk to a project that is really making the effort to make an impact in the world in such a positive way.
And, you know, as you can tell by all the plus signs and, you know, our logo that positivity and adding value is something that we, we look to in high regard, because, you know, if we can, if we can live our passion and we can build something that we enjoy, but also add value to the world at the same time.
At the same time, there's no greater force than that, than, than, than adding value to the universe in a way that, you know, really makes a difference.
And the fact that we're, that we're in web three, because I know you talked about, you know, web three, having more support and more value to what you're trying to do than web two does is amazing because, you know, it means we can, you know, attain our integrity and our, our self sovereignty and build our own ecosystems and add our, our own value without the necessities or the needs for anything outside of that ecosystem.
And I think that is extremely important for people to, you know, really, really value because that is, that is, that is a real game changer, especially for an ecosystem like yours, you know, because, you know, where else would you be able to get support financially and physically in, in, in, in an area that is very, very difficult for people to, to stand up and speak on, you know.
And I think in a decentralized situation, I think that really does support what it is that you're building because, you know, you can really find support in places that it wouldn't exist and we can, we can do many things to add value to what it is that you're doing.
You know, people can speak out on social media, people can, you know, get involved in your ecosystem financially and purchase your NFTs and purchase your token, knowing that, that, you know, there's a good cause at the other side of it.
And I think that that is, that is a really an amazing ecosystem that you're working on.
Thank you so much.
I appreciate that.
Web3 has been very, very helpful.
I mean, everyone in Web3, you know, that all of us, we have, you know, dogs, cats, whatever, rabbits, animals.
We love animals and we love Web3.
So together, you know, most, I always say most animal people are more helpful and more loving than people who hate animals in a way.
So it was just like my experience over time.
And most people that I've met in the Web3 space, you know, most of them have animals on their own.
It could be dogs, cats or whatever it is.
And they are in Web3.
So they're always open to help one another.
So like when we came, when we came on in Web3, you know, we didn't have much, you know, traction and whatnot.
A lot of projects have helped us along the way as well.
And we do the same for, you know, for other projects.
As long as they're more, we always look only for legitimacy because, you know, we have done some collabs and then, you know, some of them just were robbed and we didn't appreciate that.
So at the moment, we always look for, you know, you can have like 10 followers, but as long as you're a legitimate project, we're good with that.
We're not looking for you to have like a lot of followers.
And, you know, like I said, Web3 has been like amazing meeting a lot of people.
Like you guys, you know, meeting so many people along the way on spaces and everybody's been helpful and everybody's been, you know, like brought us in with open arms in a way.
Absolutely.
And that is exactly it, you know.
And, you know, we're all just people trying to play our part in adding value and doing what we love.
And I think that that is one of the things that really does make the difference.
And, you know, I won't, I don't want to try and talk about us when this is to feed to you, but I just wanted to highlight on what you're saying is that that is exactly what we're trying to do is we're trying to highlight all the good sides of the industry.
You know, there's been a lot of bad things and bad incidents and that doesn't reflect the industry at all.
You know, there's great people doing good things to make a real impact in the world and that's what we're trying to highlight.
But not only are we trying to highlight that, we're trying to bring those people together to create that support network so that there are 50, 100, 200 ecosystems all building side by side.
And even if they don't, you know, even if there's no partnership or there's no connection, but there's a level of respect that each ecosystem is building to try and add value in some part of the world.
And people don't have to work together or support each other, but they don't have to tear each other down to try and fight for a top spot when there's enough room for everybody.
So it's great that that's the way that you're building.
And that's what we're trying to highlight.
And we're really trying to build up that network to really support that.
And that was just leading on to my next question about partnerships.
You know, so I imagine you guys probably already have some partnerships in place already, but I can already think of multiple ecosystems that would probably work well partnering with you guys.
You know, for example, Doglins, there's Hangry Animals, Salty Thorks, you know, three animal projects just off the top of my head, two of which I think are in the space right now.
Are you guys open to partnerships?
And, you know, if so, is there anything specific?
I'll say cat coin as well.
Don't forget cat coin.
Absolutely.
Can't forget cat coin.
No, I mean, we don't have anything in particular as long as the project is just like, like we say, we look at legitimacy.
That's all we look for.
We're open to work with anybody.
You know, we've, like the one, like we've, we are working now with Wolfpunks just because they do a lot of, you know, they do a lot of animal, like they do like a lot of animal stuff that like so many different things that they do.
Like Brandon and whatnot, like we've connected and we're actually going to be working, like, not just like a partnership on, you know, and this, like, for example, on Twitter and whatnot, just an actual IRL partnership where we can do things for each other and help and, you know, help with, you know, adoption, transportation, stuff like that.
So we will be doing all this together and we're open to any project, any project in this space that interested to do business with us.
No problem.
Hit us up on Twitter or, you know, we're always, we're available anytime.
We're always on, even, you know, Discord, if you're on Discord as well, open a ticket, but you can hit us up on Twitter, even Instagram, wherever you are, just, you know, drop us a message and we'll go from there.
Whatever it is, the case could be, it could be, it could be, you know, a giveaway, it could be IRL event, it could be anything.
We're open for all of it.
Yeah, no, that's fantastic and it's also great to hear as well, you know, and that is exactly what we're about, you know, how this, how this community, communities all started was, you know, lots of people building, but we, they had no funds, so there was trading in, in, in skill set and in support.
So, you know, where, you know, where, where people couldn't invest into each other's ecosystems, what they could do is offer the services that each ecosystem couldn't provide, you know, so if you can build websites and someone else can build discords
and other people can make content and we're collaborating in that, in that manner to help build out each other's ecosystems to get it to a point of monetization.
And I think that that's just an absolutely beautiful representation of what Web3 really is.
And it's great that you're building an ecosystem with that mindset, with many other people with the same mindset, because we can only add value to each other, you know, and I think that that's a great thing, that we can, you know, support each other.
And if funds are coming into our ecosystems and then we're supporting each other, then it just strengthens every, the ecosystems for everybody.
And I know I say this every space, you know, but, you know, we want to, we want to lift each other up so that then we can all win, you know, and I think that that's, that's definitely a brilliant concept to have.
So, um, but just to dive a little deeper, if, if you don't mind, um, you know, so, you know, you talked about your entry into Web3, why you're here, you know, your vision, how you feel about your project and why it is that you're as passionate as you are.
Um, you know, what stage are you at with your ecosystem?
You know, for someone on the outside looking in, who wants to get involved, you know, where would you say that you're at with your ecosystem in regards of where people can potentially participate or invest into the things that you're building?
So, uh, at the moment, uh, you know, if you, you can download the app and just try it out.
That's it.
I would like, I always say, you know, even if you, um, don't have use for the tokens, you can just donate them to any nonprofit when that's available.
Our next, um, um, our next, uh, mint would be, uh, a physical tracker and, uh, and an NFT together.
We're just trying to raise some funds for the tracker and have that available.
So that, that would be our next, um, mint that we will have.
Um, we might have more than one NFT including just to, uh, uh, you know, give out as much as we can for the, for actual, um, for, sorry, I just dropped my arm.
Sorry, guys.
So, yeah, just mainly, uh, just mainly, um, you know, wherever we are at the moment is just, uh, we're, we're mid.
In a way we're, uh, we're in our, on our second phase and, um, you know, our, um, mint, uh, we're going to have a mint just to raise some funds for the tracker, but you will be getting a physical tracker.
And then it could be up to three or four NFTs with that just to, you know, to reward everyone that's going to be buying that mint.
And, um, we'll go from there.
So mainly is, you know, our app would be, uh, made hopefully, uh, out of beta by the end of January and, you know, we, we, we are there.
So we're just working on, you know, we had to update because we, when we released the app, which is mainly an MVP and, you know, sort of, you know, we had to upgrade the database and whatnot.
We didn't expect that we're going to have, you know, 20,000 downloads in beta, but we did have, which is great.
So at the moment we're updating that backend and stuff like that.
So we're hoping towards the end of January that will be available.
That's fantastic.
So you see, you see, you've had over 20,000 downloads on your app.
That is absolutely incredible.
So congratulations.
That is absolutely brilliant.
Like that, they're huge numbers, especially when, you know, you're so early on in your ecosystem and you, you know, not that that would take anything away from what it is that you're doing, but I just think that that's absolutely fantastic that you've reached such a high number of downloads for your, for your app, which is only a small part of your ecosystem.
You know, and I wanted to say as well, I think that your website is fantastic.
It's, you know, very simplistic, but, you know, very easy to navigate.
I mean, we tried the, you can see with our colors as well.
We tried to make it, even with our app, that's when we will have our next mint, our phase, we're making it as easy as possible because we do have a lot of Web2 users as well.
So in our next phase of minting, you'll be able to mint through using credit card.
And as well, if you don't have a knowledge in Web3, you can actually still purchase an NFT and then leave it off chain.
And whenever you're ready, you can bridge that off chain as well.
So we're making it as easy as possible for the Web2 users and then we're trying to educate them as much as possible to bridge them over eventually.
Yeah, no, that's brilliant.
You know, and I think that it's really exciting to see that, you know, it really does offer many ways to add great value, you know, in regards of the donations that, you know, the walk to earn, which is, you know, promoting, you know, a healthier lifestyle and getting out in the world.
And that's exactly the way that, you know, Web3 should be utilized because not only do people get to buy NFTs and crypto, but also get to play games, but they also get rewarded for doing good, good things and healthy things.
And I think that that is, you know, a really amazing ecosystem that, you know, more people should really get behind and support.
I mean, we appreciate that.
You know, we're trying, like I said, again, we, we try to make a change and we can't do this alone.
So we want to give back as much as we can to our community.
And then that's why we connect with a lot of people.
And a lot of people have been helpful because of our mission as well.
So, you know, that's, that's where we're at today.
Yeah, no, that's fantastic.
And do you guys utilize Telegram as well?
I know that you utilize other, other social media platforms, but I don't see.
Yeah, no, no.
Yeah, no, I think it's definitely something worth considering.
You know, there's quite a lot of people that do love the, the Telegram app.
You're right, because a lot of people are, have, a lot of people don't like to use, for example, Discord.
So I guess Telegram would be, would be good or even an Instagram channel, whatever you want to call it.
It also helps as well.
And I know this might sound a bit odd, but it also helps because if, if, if someone that has got bad intentions
sees that there's a platform you're not utilizing, they may utilize it to try and take advantage of that situation.
You know, if that makes sense.
Yeah, you're right.
I have, I have seen that happen before.
So, you know, even if it's not something that you put much time and energy into, as long as you've got the, uh, the, the original page,
at least then people know that any other ones aren't you.
Well, thank you.
Thank you for the feedback.
We'll look into them for sure.
Yeah, no problem.
No, that's fantastic.
Um, and you know, is there, is there any other aspects of your ecosystem that you'd like to dive into a little bit?
You know, is it like, for example, you know, with your app, you know, once someone downloads, downloads the app,
you know, like what, what, what would you suggest that they do next?
You know, is there multiple options that people can, can do?
So at the moment, uh, you know, the app is very simple.
All you do is just download it and create a profile for your pets.
Um, because since we are on a, uh, still early on, uh, you cannot, uh, do too much.
So mainly just, you know, download the app, create a profile for your pet and start walking.
You can only choose, you can only walk one pet at a time.
So hopefully with our next phase, which we will have a bigger profile for your pets.
So that way you can, you know, add as many, uh, pictures, you know, add, uh, more, you know, vet visits, uh, you know, uh, any prescriptions and whatnot.
So that's, that's our main sort of focus besides, you know, the NFTs and whatnot, because we want to make, um, uh, you know, one quick thing too.
It was just like, because you can like the, the way our app works too, as well, um, you can, um, transfer ownership of pets because, you know, for example, now we're connected with, uh, wolf parks and they do a lot of rescues.
But, you know, what they do, let's say they have a dog and then, uh, you know, dog needs all this work and stuff like that.
What you can do is create a profile for you, for, for that, that particular dog and enter all the information that you need that, that was done to that particular dog.
You know, a surgery, um, this type of medicine, this vet business, whatnot.
And whenever you want to adopt that pet out, you can actually transfer all that information to the new owner.
So that we have that option as well, which is pretty cool.
And, and, uh, you know, a lot of, uh, a lot of rescuers love that.
So, so we're hoping to build more pet features, you know, first.
We love WolfPunks over here.
He's, he's one of our favorite dudes.
He's out there.
He's out there doing the real hard work and, uh, yeah, yeah.
We appreciate him big time.
He's amazing.
He just, yeah, absolutely.
They had, uh, he, uh, he, uh, he rescued a dog.
And then yesterday, uh, they had a surgery where they had to amputate the dog's leg.
And then he took him in and then, you know, he spent the day there and stuff.
So he does, he does do a lot, which is amazing.
And, you know, uh, and we need people like that.
You know, I, I myself don't do the physical rescues, but at the end of the day, I choose
to, for example, try to save a lot more pets.
And then, but we still need the people like Brandon and other organizations to do the
We just want to funnel in the funds to help them out and make it easier for them because
no matter what, you need funds, no matter what you have.
Absolutely.
And there's nothing wrong in wanting to make money, even just for the sake of making money,
you know, that, that, that's okay.
That's why we're all here, you know, and I know it sometimes can feel like a bit of a
touchy subject, but, you know, we also, you know, there's a lot of people that want to
add value to, and, you know, and sometimes a lot of the time it has to go hand in hand,
you know, for, for you to do what you're doing, you need to be able to, you know, have an income
for that to be possible.
And it's, and I think that's, that's the beauty of partnerships, especially in web three,
you know, because that is the point is that if, if you can collaborate with people that
can do things that you can't, that, that adds more value to your ecosystem because
now you can, you know, and I think that's the, that's the vital point of it.
And, um, Doglins has just, uh, joined, which is Christian Abbott.
He's the founder of Doglins and, uh, the Stray Dogs Club.
Um, they are also another ecosystem who help animals.
They also help people learn how to make passive income.
Definitely a great conversation to probably have with him, um, with what they're trying
to do with helping animals as well, you know, because the more ecosystems like you guys,
like Wolf Punks as well, that collaborate and work together, the more you can help these
I think that's the whole point of it.
And that's the beautiful part is that, you know, you can, you can share the,
you can share the wealth to help each other's ecosystems grow.
And also if, you know, someone asks you for a service you can't provide, but Wolf Punks
can, you know, you can pass them over and both of you guys can benefit and then you can
keep doing what it is that you do.
Yeah, definitely.
Definitely.
Like I said, at the end, like anything needs money.
So just for them to save animals, like for example, the dog that they saved yesterday, like, sorry,
last week, we did surgery.
So surgery costs money, you know, traveling costs money, medicine costs money.
So at the end, like anything that we do needs money.
And then we're hoping to provide as much as we can eventually.
Like we're hoping in the future to save, you know, millions of animals a year if we can.
That's what, that's our, our target is.
And then we're, we're, we're going to work towards that.
Absolutely.
And that's exactly the point, you know, because, you know, there's people that want to purchase
NFTs, but knowing I can purchase NFT that can also help someone help animals.
That's, that's beautiful.
You know, that, that is, that is a really an amazing way to, to do what it is that you're
And, and that way everyone benefits and the fact that you're also trying to then add
value to the people doing that, it's a, it's a, an even better way to go about it.
So yeah, that's exactly it.
And, you know, this is why we have this platform to help highlight people like you doing what
it is that you do.
You know, we do really appreciate you taking the time out of your day to come in and,
and showcase your ecosystem.
And, you know, we're honored to have the, you know, the platform to be able to help you
showcase that and everyone listening in as well, you know, a massive shout out to everyone
listening in.
We really do appreciate you guys coming in and listening and, you know, adding value
where you can, and you'll be surprised how just, you know, just a retweet, a post, it
only takes one person to see one thing, one time to change the entire dynamics of the entire
situation.
So, you know, anyone that adds value, we appreciate it.
And a massive thank you to everyone reposting the space as well.
You know, we do really appreciate you guys helping us showcase other people.
So, and, you know, anyone that does repost the room, if it does, you know, clutter up
your feed, you can always undo the repost after the space and it's still added the value
during the space as well.
So, we appreciate that as well.
But yeah, no.
So, I don't know if you want to break down a little bit more about, you know, like your
team, for example.
Have you guys got a team?
How many people are there?
You know, what roles do they play?
So, we have a development team that has been on popular since day one, which is about 10
years now.
And, you know, we've lost a lot of people along the way.
Usually, any startup or any project, we're not generating enough funds.
But most of the guys that stayed on, they're there for the mission as well as, you know,
the money.
Everybody needs money like we talked about.
But it's mainly the mission.
So, we have a developer team.
There's about five guys.
There's one web developer and three app developers.
And then one just in charge of all the guys.
We have our Discord.
You know, we have the usual Discord, five, six guys.
We just added Pat as an ambassador.
You guys probably know him from a lot of different projects.
And if NFT card is, he's our new ambassador slash advisor.
So, he's been added to the team.
There's myself.
And we will have some more announcements in the next week.
So, we have some more people that we're adding to the team.
And I'm not going to say much now.
But, yeah, we do have some more people.
So, all together, we're close to maybe 15, 15 people all together with the Discord guys,
the developers, myself, Pat.
And, yeah, so that's our team.
But we have our own developers.
They've been there, like I said, for 10 years.
And, you know, they're going to be on, hopefully, until this mission is done,
which is probably by the time we pass away so much.
So, yeah, I was just going to say, yeah, the mission is never really over.
You know, I think at a minimum, we'll just be passing on the talk to, you know, future generations.
But, no, it's amazing to, you know, to speak to someone that is really trying to do something incredible.
And you clearly can tell by, you know, just the way you're speaking that you are going to do whatever it takes
legitimately to make that possible.
And, you know, this is why we like to have these, you know, more long-form conversations,
just so that people can get a better feel of you and who you are.
Because now I've spoken to you personally, I've got a really good feeling about you and your project.
And it really warms my heart to know that, you know, there's a guy out there who's built this team
and this ecosystem and adding value and supporting animals.
And, you know, they can't help themselves.
You know, they can't control their environment, especially with the way the world is.
So, it's amazing that you're doing everything that you can to try and change that.
And you're making it an easily enjoyable experience that enables people to learn more about things
that are going on in the world that people may not particularly have known about.
And that's why I really love the Web3 integration into all things,
because it gives you the power and the freedom to really build an ecosystem that can make a difference.
But it also helps everybody else get involved in support and in ways that we couldn't before.
You know, when we're just only able to give to a charity and you don't know where the funds are going,
and you don't know what impact's being had, but we can have a personal relationship with you and your team
and you can show us firsthand what's happening.
And, you know, it's all taking place on the blockchain.
So, you know, it can be, we don't have to, we don't, we don't have to trust you.
You know, we can just verify it.
And I think that that is a much safer way to support an ecosystem like this.
Yeah, well, thank you so much, guys.
And I thank everyone for always, you know, listening to us, attending the spaces,
listening to us, helping us spread the word out as well.
You know, we can't do this without anyone, without help.
You know, we all need help.
You know, if I could have done this myself, it would have happened 10 years ago probably.
So, and I know, you know, we all need help, but we all need to help each other in any space,
in the Web3 space only, and even in the animal space.
So, thank you guys for listening, and I appreciate everyone's time, including, you know, everyone listening here.
And we have a giveaway as well.
I don't know if you guys want to, I posted it up.
So, we're giving away a rare elephant.
It's worth about $50, Matic.
It's not the price.
You know, it's the story behind it.
It's, you know, and that elephant comes with, you know, with a lot of utilities,
free governance token, airdrop, and other stuff coming up with it.
But, yeah, we're giving that out.
Anyone in this space that stays building in, and just follow the instructions.
Follow us.
Follow the host.
Like and retweet, and we'll do, you know, a Twitter picker at the end.
And anyone in this space that opens a ticket in Discord, we will give 1,000 pop print points.
You can use these points to buy NFTs in our Discord as well.
So, anyone in this space, open the tickets, share a screenshot, and we'll drop you the points.
Thank you so much, guys.
That is incredible.
Thank you so much.
Really appreciate that.
So, yeah, everyone, make sure you do that, because that is awesome.
I'll definitely be downloading the app.
I'll be sharing it out, you know.
Me and a few of the team are also content creators.
We love to create content and highlight amazing ecosystems.
I'm sure that, you know, we can make some content around that as well and try and help you spread your amazing message.
And, you know, we appreciate you doing a giveaway as well.
We'll be more than happy to do that at the end of the space.
That is awesome.
And you're right.
It isn't the price.
It's the story behind it.
And it's the impact, you know.
And I think that you're really doing something incredible.
And, you know, just from the experience that we have in what we do, we know the amount of hours and sacrifices and sleepless nights and, you know, the toll that it takes to do what it is that you're doing.
And that's one of the reasons why every Tuesday at 9 p.m. in our Telegram we have a mental health space and a community walk-in so that people can just know that there's a place they can go and speak and open up if they ever wish to because this is a very difficult industry to be in.
It's very stressful.
And, you know, we're doing this around our actual IRL lives, you know, around our jobs, around family and friends that just don't understand or see the value in a world that, you know, we're trying to walk a path of truth in a world full of lies and it's very difficult.
So, it's great that we're all here to support each other and, you know, we appreciate finding another person out there doing the same.
So, yeah, huge respect.
Thank you so much, guys.
Appreciate that.
And I appreciate everyone's time listening to us here tonight.
And, like I said, if anybody wants to connect, there's a lot of people out here and I'm not sure.
Sorry, I can't tell who everyone is.
Just hit me up.
Anything, you know.
It could be a giveaway.
It could be IRL events, IRL business, whatever it is.
We're open to it and we're here to help each other and, you know, anything that I can do for you, you know, anytime we're here.
Thank you, guys.
Yeah, no, it's an absolute pleasure and thank you.
And, yeah, in a moment we will be getting full play NFT on as well.
So, we'll introduce you in just a moment.
We thank you for being amazing and waiting the first hour and supporting a different ecosystem.
We've got a few people that have come up on stage.
I think they may want to maybe ask some questions or touch on the topics that we've been talking about.
First off is Bella.
Bella, hello.
Happy Friday.
Great to see you.
How are you?
Oh, we are so blessed.
We are doing great.
I just want to check on, Haley, how are you?
I know you've been sick.
I hope you're feeling better.
Yeah, thank you.
That was what was on my mind.
Thank you, Bella.
Appreciate that.
I'm getting better.
I got hit on the way back.
I traveled for a bit and on the way back I got pretty sick.
But I'm getting a little better.
Thank you so much.
Appreciate that.
That was the main thing I was concerned about.
Thank you, brother.
I love you.
All you legends.
All right.
I'll stop now.
That was my only question.
You never have to stop.
We appreciate you, honestly.
Thank you for always being amazing and always feeling blessed.
Because every time you say it, you know, it reminds me that, you know,
regardless of how hard things are or how hard things get,
that we're always blessed to be in the situation that we're in.
So thank you for always spreading love and positivity, Bella.
We appreciate you.
We have to be blessed.
We have to find the positive.
That's why we rocked the plus.
And Gunnar said, hey, he's on my coattails.
Send Gunnar our love as well and how I'm for in the family.
You know, we love all you guys.
You're absolutely amazing.
And, you know, the fact that you guys rocked the plus really means everything.
You know, I can't tell you how much that means.
And I'm sure that you know that already.
You know, we really do appreciate that.
All right, guys.
I'm going to drop down.
But I just wanted to check on my friend there.
Make sure he was okay.
Thank you, Bella.
Thank you, Bella.
We also had Bagel in the building.
Bagel, long time no speak.
How are you?
And thank you for joining us.
How are you tonight?
All right.
How are you here?
I'm doing good, though.
Good to see you.
How are you?
Biennale, thank you for joining us.
Have you got any questions you'd like to ask a popular?
I've actually talked to him in a previous space before.
Oh, that's awesome.
I'm just here to vibe, you know?
Yeah, absolutely.
Well, thank you for joining us.
I hope you're good.
We've not spoken a little bit, but I hope you've got.
I see you doing your thing every day, which is awesome.
Yeah, well, thank you.
We appreciate you for joining us and showing the support.
It always makes a difference.
But, yeah, if anyone has any questions for popular, you know, now's the time.
You can put your hand up and we can get you on stage if you're not on stage already.
But, yeah, Pele, honestly, thank you for joining us tonight.
We appreciate you.
This won't be the last you hear from us, that's for sure.
So, there's a few ecosystems in our community that may want to look to collaborate and,
you know, join forces or, you know, add value to what you're doing and vice versa.
One of them is actually on stage that I had in mind right now, which is Andrew Minton,
who's the founder of Hangry Animals.
He's actually on stage.
Can you speak, Andy?
I can indeed.
I can indeed.
My voice may sound different because I've been at an 80s disco Christmas party for the
last four hours.
So, folks, it's time to party.
I'm on my way home on a train.
Yeah, super, super awesome to kind of listen in.
And you're doing some great stuff, really are.
And, you know, I think there's a lot of ecosystems around this space that are looking to sort of
benefit and support animals, you know, creatures of this earth that really don't have a say
and have a voice.
And it's great that there are so many projects and ecosystems looking to really elevate and
raise awareness of the plight of animals on this planet that, you know, we seem to brush
So, props to you guys.
Popular, you know, it's an amazing app and project.
Would love to connect.
I've heard you on a couple of spaces of late and I think it's a fantastic venture.
So, great traction.
I would love to collaborate in whatever way we can figure out because, you know, we're
building an open world RPG for a multitude of projects to come in and benefit from an
earning mechanism with a charitable donation mechanism that goes to those that really need
it the most, you know, not the big global corporate charity organizations, but those smaller entities,
those smaller charities and non-profits that really need it.
And that's where we can add the most value.
So, let's connect, man.
I think it's a great, great idea.
I mean, just imagine how much more someone like Wolfpunks can do, you know, with extra funding,
A hundred percent.
A hundred percent.
You know, if we can find a really seamless deal flow for charitable organizations to benefit
from the kind of ecosystems that we're building, then, you know, everyone wins in that scenario.
And, you know, for a lot of people, this is about money.
But for us at the end of the day, this is about making an impact.
And I think we're all here for different reasons.
And I believe that we have, as a collector, the ability to make massive, massive impact
through doing the things we're doing.
You look at Epic, right?
You look at Epic Games.
Over the period that they've had Fortnite running, they have run one charitable skin
for the entire existence of that money-making machine.
They have pumped out one charitable skin, which has the ability to give back to a charitable donation.
We can help change that dynamic.
And put in place the ability to flip the script.
It feels kind of dirty, doesn't it?
It does, you know?
It's a big money-making machine.
And they don't realize, at this moment in time, they don't realize that if they were to
change that whole narrative to be, actually, there's a deal flow here.
We can put, like, 10% of every skin sale.
15% of any V-Bucks exchange.
If you were to flip the script and put all of that entirety of the sort of transactional
mechanisms towards a charitable donation, or even a treasury fund that then gets allocated
to whatever charitable donation that we see fit, then it's going to attract a lot more
interest and a lot more gamers and a lot more advocacy than what they do now, you know?
A million percent.
And imagine if V-Bucks was actually a digital asset as well, the value it would be.
And as well, just to put that into perspective, Epic Games make equally as much money from
the servers that they own as the game Fortnite.
But also, in its first year, it made, I think it was $3.2 billion in profit, which was more money
than 27 countries, just to put that into perspective.
It's crazy, right?
The gaming industry makes $187 billion a year in profit, in money terms, right?
Now, people don't see that as a great thing to be giving to charity from that perspective.
But if they were to understand that there's a better deal flow, there's a better structure
to be put in place for any of these ecosystems, you know, gaming, entertainment, you know, tokenomics
of that kind, then they would attract a lot more interest because it's not purely about
a financial transaction.
It's about an impact.
It's about a narrative that helps rather than just takes.
So, we've got a big responsibility in what we're doing to actually push the agenda for
that forward.
So, I'm a big advocate for that.
And that's what we're building with Hangry and trying to incorporate a lot more projects.
Trying to incorporate a lot more projects than just what we're building.
You know, it's narrow-minded for us to think in an isolated mindset.
Sorry, I'm on the train.
Yeah, no, don't worry.
This is what Web3 is.
We do it on the go.
And we appreciate you joining us whilst you're traveling as well.
I hope you're traveling safe.
But, no, you're absolutely right.
And people are willing to spend $107 billion a year on an asset that they don't even really
own that contains no actual value other than the enjoyment they experience whilst utilizing
that game.
So, to, you know, create an ecosystem in Web3 where you can add value to an asset that
you actually own, that you can do what you wish with, is an absolute game changer.
And you're absolutely right in what you're saying.
And thank you for putting that so beautifully in.
And it's amazing that you're building the way you are.
And this is what gives me so much hope about Web3 is when there's people like you and
Pele and projects like, you know, Doglins and Wolfpunks trying to really add value.
It can't fail if you don't stop.
And if you all collaborate your efforts and your energy that, you know, anything is possible.
And that $107 billion a year that goes into nothingness can go into something that can
contain more value than we can actually calculate.
And that's really exciting to know that we have the ability to do that.
So, I'm excited to get to our second guest.
Absolutely.
Go for it.
Absolutely.
So, you know, Andy, thank you for saying that, Pele.
Thank you for joining us.
We really appreciate it.
You're welcome to stay in the space if you wish.
If you have to go, we understand that we have things going on.
But we are going to move on to our second guest.
Thank you to everyone that's been sharing out the room and inviting people in as well.
We appreciate that also.
More of our team members have joined the space because they're always working hard in the
background.
We've got Miss Evie, who will get on stage as soon as we can, and Doglins as well, who
have also joined from the community core team.
But without further ado, we'd like to introduce our next guest, who very patiently waited an
hour to speak.
So, thank you for that.
The Full Plate Projects.
Happy Friday and welcome to the space.
How are you tonight?
Doing all right.
Thanks for having me.
It's an absolute pleasure, and it's definitely way overdue, so we really do appreciate you
joining us.
How are you today?
Is everything good?
Yeah, just had a little bit of a decent day, just watching the market because the recent
spot ETF, they got approved.
I'm really excited about that.
So, yeah, just things are looking up.
And, yeah, I'm here to share.
I'm really excited because we've got the event coming up that I'm going to talk about in a
little bit.
But, yeah, just thankful that you reached out and had me come on up here.
Yeah, no, absolutely.
Thank you for joining us.
We're really excited about this because what you're doing, I think, is absolutely incredible.
And I can't wait for people to learn about it because I'm almost certain that everyone
would be excited to get behind you in it.
You know, I can't wait for you to explain it.
But, yeah, you have a full hour to break this down so there's no rush to squeeze it all
You don't have to use the full hour if you don't wish to.
But you just know that the next hour is completely for you.
You can pin anything at the top of the space that you wish to.
You can break down any aspects of your ecosystem you'd like to as well.
Normally, how we do it is to help make it easier for you, just to ease you into the space
is we ask, you know, how you found Web3 and what it was that brought you into Web3 to
do what it is that you're doing.
So if you could just give us an introduction about you as much as you would like to and
give us just a brief introduction of how you entered into the Web3 space, if that's
Absolutely, and an hour long.
I mean, I don't think I'm going to talk, you know, just straight for an hour.
But, you know, after I talk, if anyone has questions, I'm more than happy to answer.
But, you know, hi, everyone.
I'm Ex-Bohiti, a.k.a.
Spirit Bear.
I'm the creator and operator of the Flip Blade Project.
I've been an artist and musician for about 10 years and been learning and developing in
Web3 for the past four, almost five years now.
And I'm building a lot of different projects, but obviously today I want to focus on this
one because it's a project that's incredibly close to my heart.
I learned about NFTs, you know, just before I get into all that, but I learned about NFTs
actually, you know, from learning about crypto and stuff like that first, because figuring
out that, you know, there's a whole nother side of finance and all that stuff was just
so interesting.
And then being an artist, I was like, wow, okay, wait, I can actually tokenize my art
So there's like a whole nother thing.
And then music as well, you know, because I do that too.
But yeah, so that's how I kind of got into it.
And yeah, so basically this is about how we're using innovation and community spirit to make
a real impact in the lives of those experiencing homelessness here in Chicago and soon across
the world.
You know, winter's obviously getting colder here and in many parts of the world.
And as the temperature drops, the need for assistance with food and heating supplies becomes
more and more urgent.
And it's not just about staying warm, right?
It's a matter of life and death.
So we ask ourselves, how can we come together to tackle these, this growing need that's these
challenges, right?
But these challenges don't stop there.
Chicago has become a landing point for migrants, immigrants, and refugees with approximately 1,200
new arrivals every day.
That's about 10,000 people a week being bussed up from the border and coming from other countries.
And these people like you and me come to our city with dreams of hope of a better life.
And they're trying to get away from war, natural disasters, extreme poverty, and, you know,
dictatorships, all kinds of things.
Yet many find themselves facing the harsh reality of homelessness and a lack of basic necessities
upon arrival because of the lack of necessities available, you know, and resources.
So we must remember that these are real people and it's our duty to lend a helping hand to
You know, so what's our approach to addressing, you know, these issues and all those things
that are going on, right?
Seems like so much, but we've harnessed the incredible power of the metaverse, a digital
realm that's rapidly evolving.
And I've taken the time to learn Blender and Unity and how to build websites and basically
like a one-person studio to build my own spaces like the full plate NFT virtual auction house
on Spatial, as well as others.
And through NFTs and virtual auctions, we found a unique and innovative way to raise funds.
So these digital spaces unite people from all across the world, all brought together by
a shared desire to make a difference.
Now, here's where my personal connection comes into it, right?
It's like, okay, why are you doing this?
But so I've been homeless myself.
I found myself living in my car after having to leave an abusive household before I was able
to care for myself financially.
Thankfully, now I'm living with my wife and her family and all that.
But, you know, it was rough.
And I felt the desperation of the Chicago cold, the harsh reality of not knowing where
your next meal is going to come from, all when I was back living in my old 1999 Saturn.
And that's why this project means so much to me.
It's not just a noble cause or like, oh, look at what I'm doing, right?
It's personal.
And I'm letting the memory of my experiences fuel my passion to help others who are currently
experiencing the same things or worse.
And the virtual charity benefit, you know, it's the heart of the initiative.
What makes it stand out is our commitment to using 100% of the funds generated from the
event to buy food and essential supplies for those in need and being completely transparent
through the whole process on how the funds are used.
Every item, every penny donated goes directly towards making a real impact of the lives of
homeless and newcomers to our city.
And there's video proof of all of it, as well as verification of the records on the website
and the blockchain.
So this project expands beyond the digital realm.
It's tangible.
It's real.
It's making a difference in the lives of individuals and families that people often ignore until
it's too late.
And then we see the reports on the news, right?
So we're taking a step towards a more compassionate society where we come together to support our
fellow citizens and those starting a new life in our city.
And I invite each of you to join us in this journey, to explore the potential of technology
as a community, and to be part of a movement that showcases the power of unity in the face
of adversity.
As we enter the season of giving, remember that the warmth of our hearts can provide much
needed warmth of shelter and food to those in need.
We have a virtual charity benefit every two weeks.
This one, the next one is set for the 16th of this month.
And everyone is welcome to attend to enter the go-kart race that we're having for a chance
to win $10 in Matic.
Here's some music from community members.
Check out some amazing artwork and participate in our auction.
And we also have forms available on our website to sign up to perform at the event if you're
a musician or a performer or even a comedian, something like that.
You can also donate auction items if you're owner of an NFT collection or even we've had
vinyl records auctioned.
We've had all kinds of stuff, even Reiki sessions, right?
And so we have forms available for that as well on the site.
And to become sponsor of the event, to advertise yourself at the event and in the stream, or
even to get raffle tickets.
And this time around, the raffle is going to be a completely custom-built spatial space
So you might want to get those because it's literally just a dollar.
It's like one Matic per raffle ticket.
So in closing, I'll leave you with this thought.
Every act of kindness, whether in the metaverse or the real world, has the power to transform
the lives and create a brighter future for many people, right?
Let's continue to come together, driven by our shared humanity, to make Chicago a city
of hope, compassion, and support for all those that spread across the globe.
So thank you for your time and thank you for your commitment to this cause.
And instead of waiting for someone else to make the difference, together, we can be the
difference.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us and, you know, being so open and vulnerable.
You know, that is a really tough thing to do and, you know, we appreciate that.
And I would personally be absolutely proud to just invest in you as a human, you know,
because of who you are and what you're doing, what you've been through and what you're trying
to do on the back end of that.
You know, you could have taken many paths in life through your experience and you chose
a loving, impactful path to take.
You know, you chose the hard choice and I just think that's incredible.
And, you know, just looking at you and your, because I recommend everyone in this space
to check this man out.
Go and watch his videos because this man documents everything that he does.
You know, you can go and see his content and just see how real and real this really is.
And I think that it's absolutely incredible that even through your hardships that you're
taking this path to make a difference to people that we forget about, you know, and we don't
forget about it because we're bad people.
We forget about it because that's the way the world's designed is to keep us busy, distracted
and preoccupied.
So it's amazing that you're doing what you're doing to help remind people that, you know,
there are people out there really suffering in the most brutal time of year and you're
out there trying to make a difference.
I just wanted to just say that to you.
Absolutely.
I really appreciate that.
I mean, I love the projects, you know, it's, it's, it's admirable.
Um, I was homeless for a period.
Um, I was on the street for a period as well and it fucking sucked.
Um, uh, you know, there's little to no help.
Um, you know, you're, you're, you know, there to fend for yourself.
Um, so yeah, you know, just having, you know, someone out there, especially in somewhere
like Chicago, because homelessness is a real problem.
It's a problem everywhere.
Um, but Chicago in particular, I think, you know, it does have a particular issue, um,
with a lot of addiction and stuff as well.
Um, and, uh, yeah, you know, people need help and, um, you know, it's easy to put that
into the back of your minds, like, like Ruff was saying.
Um, yeah, that's, that's a great point.
I'll go ahead.
Yeah, no, you go first.
It's okay.
I was just going to say, it's a, it's a great point.
Um, actually to like anybody who's interested on the website, um, full plate project.
That site, we do have a roadmap and, you know, cause I, I realized that we can't solve
hung, you know, you know, this issue just by giving people food.
Um, so I'm going to expand beyond that.
I'm actually going to go into things like addiction counseling, helping find, um, you
know, permanent, um, employment as well as building transitional housing, things like
So that's all within, you know, the plan is not just going to stop at the food.
And that's incredible.
I just wanted to say as well, um, you know, I know that all you're, all you're going to
want to do is highlight the people in need.
Um, but one of the things I want to highlight, because I think it's probably more important
for the benefits that will come off of it is, you know, what's the best way
approach people can take to help you personally?
Because I think that is absolutely vital because in helping you enables you to continue to help
other people, which is obviously what you're passionate about doing.
And I know that you being the person you are, you're only going to highlight the ways in
which we can help other people.
But, you know, what is a report of the ecosystem that enables people to help you personally?
Cause I know, I know that you're a musician as well, aren't you?
Yeah, I've got a lot of different things I do.
If you want, um, you can follow my main page, um, at X Bohiti, X B O H I T I.
Um, and I didn't realize that was you, man.
And, uh, yeah, so I do a lot of different things there.
And, um, so if you wanted to, you can go check out that stuff, but, um, even if you still
wanted to, you know, support the project directly and still kind of help me out, um, there's
the full plate NFT, which was the first thing that I did for this project.
And 20% of the sales from that does go to me.
So, um, 80% still goes to the project, but, um, as for the, you know, the events that we
have a hundred percent of that goes towards donation.
Yeah, no, that's brilliant.
And that is really important as well.
You're doing what you're doing.
Um, I have pinned, just for everyone who's listening, I have pinned, um, a tweet of the
full plate NFT so that you can find the website much easier.
And I've also pinned the post from his main account as well.
So you can go and support that and go and check that out.
But I strongly advise, go and check out the website, go and watch the content that he
He's on all social media platforms.
You can find it all through the website anyway.
Um, but he does many amazing things.
This man is an incredible human being and obviously, as you can tell, very selfless as
And it is very easy to get involved and show support to this ecosystem that he's building.
Um, but I do also have a few questions for you as well, just in regards of your ecosystem.
You know, for example, I imagine, you know, you, you have partnerships already.
I know we talk about this a lot because we do think it's important.
Um, but you know, are you open to partnerships and if so, what type of partnerships are you looking
for to support your ecosystem?
Um, absolutely.
Thanks for asking.
Um, I'm definitely open to partnerships.
You know, we, we have the sponsorship role that you can take up.
Um, there's the form you can fill out, but if you wanted to, you know, go beyond even just
a sponsorship and actually make a full on, uh, partnership.
That's definitely something we can, you know, discuss.
Um, I'm looking for projects that, you know, are doing what they say they're going to do.
Um, right.
Not just putting a roadmap out there and then, you know, expecting that they're going to
make a million dollars off a roadmap.
Um, you know, like actually putting into work, what they're saying they're going to do before
they even make that money.
So, um, also to people who are very serious about this and, and, uh, you know, actually
believe in the cause.
Cause if it's just trying to help each other to promote just for the sake of promoting,
then I'm not, I'm not really about that.
You know, I want people to actually, who really believe in and understand what we're doing
here and want to promote it because they want to actually see it succeed.
Um, and obviously I'd be doing the same for you.
So, um, yeah, that's basically what I would say for that.
Yeah, I think it's sick.
I love it.
Um, you know, like I say, it's, it's something that obviously, uh, I've got insight to, um,
and, you know, I met people that were helpful, um, and that's kind of how I got to where I
am now as, as part of that journey, um, you know, was there were people that lifted me
up, um, and, uh, and that got me back, um, you know, facing forward and moving forward
because, you know, it was a, it was a moment of like despair, um, you know, and self-preservation
and, and, and not a lot else.
Um, in my, in my own way, I, I do my own things to kind of help.
So quite often, uh, Christmas parties in London, um, and I will load my pockets up with, um,
big, like woolly, woolly, woolly socks and just ask people if they want them.
And if they don't want them, I say, look, if you don't need these, you know, gift, gift
it to the next guy.
Um, because something as simple as a pair of socks could be the difference between
making it through the winter and not.
Um, and it's not the sort of thing that's going to be a priority for, for, for that person
to buy for themselves.
Um, so that's my, that's my little thing that I like to do.
And that's great, man.
You know, every, every little bit counts, you know, it's people think that, um, oh, what
I'm doing is not going to make a difference, but if we're all at least doing something
small, you know, it does make a difference.
So good on you for that.
I mean, I'm, I'm not like rich and stuff.
I, you know, I can't afford to really have an impact on something like that as much as
I'd love to.
Um, but it's just, it's something small that I can do that, that costs me relatively
And, and really quick before, um, I finished up here, just, I want to mention that I am,
you know, realizing how much work this is taking.
So we are hiring people, um, volunteers as well.
Um, anybody who is interested in helping with editing videos, um, also giving out donations
if you're located in Chicago, even people who want to start, um, a part of the full
plate project, wherever they're at.
Um, and, you know, trying to build this out so we can really help each other and work
And of course, you know, I can help out with things that you might need as well, but yeah,
you know, that's, that's what I'm going to finish up there.
Thank you for having me up and, uh, if anyone else has questions, feel free to ask, but
yeah, thank you.
No, it's an absolute pleasure.
And thank you for joining us.
Um, and yeah, I, I personally would like, I would like to definitely help, help out, especially
with content.
You know, that's something that I do enjoy doing and that is something I can, I can fit
into what it is that I do already.
So no, I think there's, you know, and I think that I won't be the only person that would
be happy to, uh, you know, make content about what it is that you're doing.
And, you know, if, if you do need help with content creation as well, or content editing
and that type of thing, we can definitely have a conversation and see if, if this is
anything I can do to help add value for you there as well.
So I personally would love to get involved with that for sure.
And, uh, and like I said, you know, you, you're welcome to dive deep if you wish, you
know, I understand that we're all trying to do this around real, our real lives as well.
So, you know, if, if you've covered everything you wish to, and you want to call it that,
that's absolutely fine as well.
Um, but, you know, we do really appreciate what you're doing and it's really important
that this exists and, you know, I'm glad that, you know, people will, are, will definitely
be in support of, of, of this also helping you personally so that you can keep doing this
for other people as well, because, you know, that is something that we, we, we celebrate
because the more we can help ourselves, the more we can help other people as well.
So I'm glad that there's a, you know, something within the ecosystem that helps you personally.
I mean, both of these, both of these projects today, you know, the kind of projects that
I envisioned in the NFT book, um, that we're creating, uh, do you want to tell them a bit
more about the book?
Yeah, absolutely.
I'd definitely love to do that.
So, you know, we also have our own projects.
Um, and the reason we're so passionate about it is because the whole point of it is to
highlight everybody else and showcase the true power of web three.
Um, so just to quickly give a brief example of what it is, it's basically an NFT book
also going to be a physical book as well.
We're aiming to find between 50 and a hundred projects to get involved.
It's only, we're going to do a series of 10 books and each book is going to go up in
And the point of it having a value is to help that fund the team to build the project
and also to help the team stay in web three doing what it is that we do.
Um, so the first book, it's only 150 matic per double page.
One side will have artwork of whatever it is that you're putting in the book.
And the second page will be the story that we're telling.
So the best way to help it make sense in your mind is your NFT character will be playing
a role in a story that we're telling.
And the point of the story will, we're yet to release to everybody, but it's basically
going to be a story that you can read to your children.
It's a story that people can read and enjoy.
Um, the point of this is for the, the, to showcase the power of collaboration.
So you can, if you can only imagine between 50 and a hundred projects all working together
on one thing that uplifts everybody, that's a massive amount of support as well.
You know, we're aiming to get the book into the crypto magazine, which is the largest crypto
publication in the world currently available in 23 countries globally.
Also, we are very fortunate to be in collaboration with Hangry Animals, who was just speaking
before, Andrew Minton, who, who is helping us build the book.
And it's also going to be integrated into the Hangryverse as well.
And it's also being integrated into the Yeet program, which basically helps sponsor children
to utilize facilities in America that enables them to have access to a music studio, a boxing
gym, a basketball court, and an industrial kitchen, and also entrepreneurship training
as well to enable younger generations to be able to learn about different ways in which
they can build their own brand, their own business, and just economics in general, so
that they stand a chance to learn things that we were never taught.
So the point of the book is to help highlight projects, is to help uplift Web3, is to help
showcase collaboration.
But it's also to help us highlight everyone else in the most effective way possible.
And we're doing that by effectively utilizing our network, which we've been growing for
around once you're factoring the people in our team and the ecosystems around five plus
years of networking with different brands, businesses, projects, ecosystems, and individuals
in and out of the Web3 space, utilizing all of our skill sets to put this book together
so that we can showcase different brands, we can showcase our skill sets, and we can showcase
the way that we can collaborate in ways that you will never see anywhere else on the planet.
So yeah, so our book, the first one, it's 150 mic for a double page spread.
I think we currently at the moment have around 30 projects that have collaborated with us
that are involved in this, which I think is absolutely mind-blowing to know that there's
30 ecosystems that all want to support this, which is incredible.
So if people want to get involved in the book, they can.
You can check out our website, which is communityofcommunities.world.
You can reach out to anyone that's got a plus in the name, which is another little factor
of what it is that we do. We put the plus in our name to help highlight positivity, adding
value, Web3, and the community of communities. And it's a way that we can sort of represent
each other without having any implication on our own brand and our own visibility. So
it doesn't affect your name, your profile picture, but it shows people that we are working
together, even though that we're different ecosystems. And we are also strong advocates
for mental health, as I touched on earlier. So every Tuesday, Miss Evie, who's in the
audience, is in the community. Community's core team runs a mental health space in our
telegram. And we used to do it on spaces, but we was getting quite a lot of trolls. So
now we do it in the telegram because it's a more laid back environment and people only
normally join the telegram because they want to be a part of the community. You can also
join all of that stuff through the website as well. But yeah, thank you for listening
to me talk about that. I know that we're here to feature you guys, but everything that
we do, the whole point of it is to highlight everybody else, help bring people together,
help strengthen each other's networks, and also help provide a platform which enables
people to come together and create partnerships. Like for example, Hangar Animals and Popular
may now collaborate and build something or add value to each other's ecosystems. And you know,
we also appreciate everyone giving us your time tonight, listening, adding value, sharing
the space and everything that everyone does, you know. So yeah, thank you guys. I appreciate
you letting me turn that to you up tonight.
I think we could call it there unless we haven't got more things to talk about.
Yeah, no, absolutely. I'm more than happy to call it a night there. It's been an amazing
space. Two absolutely fantastic ecosystems. You know, we really appreciate the good you guys
are doing. I mean, just two projects, you know, doing things for animals and for people,
I think is absolutely outstanding. And you know, you guys gave us a few hours of your
time and we really appreciate it. But yeah, we normally play out on a song that was made
by someone in the community. They made us a little song that they gave us the rights to,
so we have permission to use it. So I will play out on a song. Just really quick before we
do call it a night, I just want to do a shout out to Mike Smart. He isn't here because
he's always building and developing and networking. He is the CEO of MetaBuilders,
which is MetaBuilders and Community Communities are two different entities, but it's the same
ecosystem. So they have a community of communities of developers. They have everything you can
imagine that you would need to do any service that you could possibly require in the Web3
space. So, you know, they do everything. They've got an incredible ecosystem and network
and we're very fortunate that in us being the same entity, we can help provide any services
anyone would need in Web3. And they also have lots of amazing attributes to their ecosystem
as well. You know, they help plant trees. They also help with feeding the homeless as well.
So there's definitely room for collaboration with you, Full Play NFT. So yeah, really amazing
ecosystem. So thank you to them as well. And on that note, we are going to play out on this
song. We always say, if you've got the plus, you're one of us. But thank you everyone for
listening to us tonight. We really appreciate the love. We are back tomorrow at the same
time, 9pm UK time. We are featuring Serenity Shield. That space is pinned at the top. If
anyone wishes to set a reminder or show any love to that post, we'd appreciate it. Please
show love to the guests tonight. Go and drop them a follow. Go and check out their pinned
posts. And also as well, there was a giveaway, wasn't it? I just remembered. So yeah, please
make sure you interact with that post that's pinned at the top so that you can have access
to that giveaway. Yeah, has anyone got any final remarks you'd like to add before we play
out on a song? I just, yeah, I just wanted to thank you guys for having us. And we look
forward to having, I guess, the plus sign and for our name shortly.
Let's go. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much.
And I did the draw as well. Trey won it. Trey won, I guess.
Let's go. Trey's a legend. Yeah, Trey's a legend. He wins everything as well, but he
deserves it.
Yeah, I did the Twitter picker and I guess they picked him. So I'll, him or her, I'm not
sure. So I'll reply back in the tweet. Thank you guys. Thank you so much and have a great
weekend everyone.
Yeah. Thank you, Pele. We appreciate that. But yeah, massive shout out to Tricky as well.
Tricky is also a community community's core team member. I know he's not on stage. He's
normally co-hosting with us because he's also one of the co-hosts. He's currently at an event
right now. So he's in like nine places at once, which he always is. But yeah, massive
shout out to Tricky. I hope you're safe. Hope you're having a good weekend, Tricky. And
thank you for showing up to the space, even though you're probably doing nine different
things at the same time. Yeah. Thank you, everybody. We're going to play out on this
song. We will be back tomorrow at the same time. So until, until next time, thank you
everyone and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
All right.
