how's it going man hope you guys have had a great week we've we've had a week's break from dashing
through the sewers and whilst we've got a little breather i thought i'd pull you guys up to the
nft show and just chop it up with you man how's it how's it going folks it's been really good it's
been really good you guys have uh might have been taking a break on the uh dukey dash but i was able
to get back in and play with their beta version by resetting you know some of the uh some of the
council commands so you know that's been kind of fun you know it's been like soloing and practicing
like behind the scenes and stuff dude wow wow this is how you do as fox no wonder fox has been
quiet in the chat it's addictive i'm not gonna lie you know when they turned it off i was just
like man how do i how do i there's got to be a workaround so i just started messing with the
settings as as much as i can you know and finally one of the combinations kind of worked and uh
you know i've been like playing solo you know happy to report since i'm the only one playing
i'm on the leaderboard let's go uh that's jokes um yeah i mean i've been i've been seeing screenshots
and things popping up in the in the chat and i'm thinking these these guys must have curated quite
a few screen recordings and stuff like they probably got tons of content no wonder they they're
posting new stuff all the time and here i am now kind of oblivious that you guys have been
practicing in the background so yeah cool man so um obviously dookie dash is back
um it's something that the community in this space um on the timeline have been kind of
crying for um and it seems like you know even though um it felt like we're getting radio
silence yuga were cooking up uh dookie dash unclogged in the background for us um and
they were just being really tight lipped about it um
first of all i mean how do you guys feel about dookie dash coming back
you know i i'd like to go first yeah honestly man i think it's it's uh it's a huge deal you
know i mean you go back to you know heavy metal which a game that wasn't super fun you know
obviously got a little bit of heat on the timeline but bringing back to uh bringing back dookie
dash is probably i think in my opinion a great way to uh to reheat the fire you know what i mean to
get us back on um on the gaming side to um really start uh playing competitive and like like the
tweet said you know garg is trying to get millions of people uh millions of people trying
to play this game and i think it's just right right right for right now especially that the
attention is down a lot it's not on just board apes across the whole entire fucking
nft space so i think it's a great way to um reintroduce the um the whole entity web 3
gaming back into the uh the web 2 shit you know get some prizes going and start making
some noises again like we did last year last year was fucking insane with dookie dash so it makes
sense it makes fucking sense that they're bringing this back you know yeah man squid i
saw you unmute there so yeah pumped man very very excited for dookie dash again this has been my
favorite game so far in the yuga ecosystem i'm a casual i'm a mid-gamer right and i've always
been a big fan of runners so i love temple run um loving all these things too so when we got
when we got that dm about you know this this gaming council and heard it was dookie dash i i got very
excited too because i've always been of the belief it's going to take a uh a game like this where
you know everyone can play doesn't have to see that it's web 3 but it's got the web 3 elements
and to me it has all the ingredients to potentially get a game to mass market which would be huge for
yuga which would be huge for the ecosystem and big for just web 3 gaming in general which is you
know it's a space that i've been working in since early 2001 full-time in this quote unquote web 3
gaming world but i uh yeah i'm really excited man i think there's gonna be a lot of opportunities
that come from this and i think the exposure once it's time to really fully market the game
is going to be wonderful for all of us yeah i mean you you raised a really good point there
it's really about um you know i'm a mid-gamer as well and um this when dookie dash um version one
came out um i'd recently just become a dad and i didn't have much time to to kind of sit there
and grind hours out on on dookie dash and um there were times where it'd kind of be the end of a
really busy day and i'd sit on dookie dash and i'd just play just to kind of just to have some
downtime you know just to play casually and not even go kind of you know pedal to the metal um
trying to beat my high score it'd just be kind of like just some downtime um casual gaming and
i thought to myself you know what this is such a great game that i don't feel like i'm grinding
this game out to get some kind of reward at the end of it i can just play it and just enjoy
the game for what it is and then when it came to those kind of sessions where i was trying to
beat my high score and you know i'd throw some ape in there and you know we'd have those kind of
like competitive rounds and um yeah so i'm really glad to see it come back and um it's gonna be fun
man um before we kind of jump into to all the nitty gritty of dookie dash obviously um this
version is going to be on multiple platforms it's going to come in mobile form um and then
you've got obviously the pc and mac versions um we're all kind of playing this um game and
experiencing it on different platforms so um i just want to kind of go around and see what what
platform um each of you guys have decided to to play the dookie dash unclogged alpha test on
and um how you guys are kind of finding the gameplay experience um how does it feel does
it feel does it feel comfortable does it feel nice and fluid um so yeah we'll go we'll go to the fufu
yeah man i mean uh you know dd one dookie dash one you know it was really good it was really
good i loved it but dookie dash to it for me at least i know probably some of the council members
would agree that it's just way way more fucking smoother you know it's a lot cleaner um and one of
the best things too is i know i'm a little off track is that the team really um once we have
concerns or any remarks or anything that we seem that it's not really that good or anything the
team really really hears us out and you know almost immediately jots it down make sure it's
that um it's implemented um and yeah but going back to uh the gameplay itself it's so much
fucking fun dude i mean every time every time i play i actually had to buy fucking um gamer gloves
just so my hands wouldn't get so goddamn fucking sweaty playing this game and um i just been back
to like kind of what you were saying to when you were uh buying a bunch of ape coin just to get
power ups dude i was doing the same same fucking thing uh i wouldn't even care you know i would
just like get so angry and at the same time having fun that i just want to keep fucking
playing so i just buy a bunch of power ups um get more ape coin buy a bunch of power ups again
and this is basically the same thing for me uh on dukie dash too i'm just fucking grabbing all
the power it's playing again playing again one time i fucking went two three hours not even
knowing that it went by but two three hours yeah i kind of missed out on a few things
playing dukie dash but dude it's fucking dukie dash you know you got to get some wins in
you got to get the practice going you know what i mean you're trying to get fucking trying to get
some some prizes this time you know well fox hasn't stopped playing i have not i know fox is over
here he's probably playing right now no no i am by far not a very good gamers i play games daily but
i'm not on any top 10 leaderboards trust me but you know just to add to what uh fov said you know
i thought it was very very reassuring to see that the uga labs team you know they had about 90 of all
of our concerns and suggestions already handled behind the scenes i mean it's like we find an
issue where a bug and the solution was already being worked on as the issue the issue was already
kind of noticed before the group was formed i mean they even showed us their enhancements list
which uh really included a lot of the bugs that you know we mentioned that needed to be squashed
so you know that was very very reassuring yeah no it was really nice man and also man i know that
you asked where i was playing i'm playing on mobile right now and into in the videos that you
guys have seen if you guys checked it out um i have two phones i basically have my iphone 10 and then
the iphone 14 and i'm playing on the iphone 10 and it runs fucking so smoothly and you know i'm
not trying to toot my own little horn but i got up to sixth fifth place on mobile you know but it's
just with the core team right now i bet once everybody comes out i'll get fucking wiped out
but still though you know it's still a good time especially for mobile um i know that there's a lot
of people out there that just don't have like pcs i'm one of them um and mobile works fucking
amazing beautifully on here but just wanted to throw that in there too that's crazy i thought
you were playing on pc i'll be honest because your scores are unreal yeah and then i straight
straight mobile yeah that's insane man and i've been seeing your tweets pinging out um about
you know a gaming pc so it sounds like you're uh you're gonna double down on uh when it when
the actual game rolls out um which is pretty cool yeah man i've been uh searching around for
gaming pcs i love my little math book you know it's great but like for great creating content
and creating especially gaming content and you know where i want to go with streaming and stuff
it's it's uh it's uh about time to level up you know especially when dookie dash comes out that's
gonna be fucking amazing but yeah man sick yeah squiddy so um what are you playing on are you on
pc or mobile i'm on mobile i'm on the iphone uh the fluidity is great you know i did not expect
that um because again i remember the last time when i was playing i was really playing just on
pc and have access to my pc at the time so again right now i'm definitely having some withdrawal
because the game you know i'm not smart enough to to crack any codes and do what you guys are going
here too i just got to wait like ignore me and settle my hands but i've been very impressed with
the mobile aspect so far and it's something that definitely feel like it is you know
considering that it's just an alpha and they're gonna make these little minor adjustments which
are going to go a long way to maintaining that fluidity um it's been it's been feeling great man
while i was playing it was definitely hard to put down which is a good sign for uh you know
a mid-gamer yeah absolutely i've been playing on mobile as well um and it's it's more difficult to
play on mobile than it is um yeah it's challenging because your finger is kind of like blocks some
of the obstacles while you're moving you know there's definitely an advantage um playing on desktop
i feel yeah and um i think because i because i've been kind of um so the mac version at the moment
was unavailable so they're still developing that um and i don't have a pc so um i was kind of
forced into to playing them the mobile version um and i've kind of been experiencing it and
trying to look at it through kind of the lens of like a casual player that um because the game's
going to be available on the app store it's going to be free to play um so it's going to be open to
to not just web 3 uh users but um just anyone that can find it on the app store so
i mean just kind of looking at it through that kind of perspective um you know compared to
other games in that category it's so much more kind of um built out and there's so much more
going on you know compared to your subway surfer or your temple run um there's just so more elements
and so many kind of aspects of game mechanics included in this game um which is just going
to make it stand out compared to anything else on the app store um you know in terms of kind of
obviously dookie dash v1 um and and now this unclogged version there's some new features
that have been introduced we've got the uh the magnet and um the snail mode is what i
what i call it um what what your thoughts man what what do you think because uh i think one
of the things one of my first uh kind of thoughts with uh dookie dash when when they
kind of announced that they were going to reroll it out um i thought it was out for
what four weeks was it the first time around and i thought you know that was kind of like
that was kind of like the perfect um time period for that game to be out because it left everyone
kind of wanting more i mean they they dropped this really sick game everyone was hooked um for you
know however many weeks it was out literally no one left their pc or laptop it was all over the
timeline and then you know once the game finished it just felt like man i just wish i had a little
bit longer to play this game and then they're rolling this game out now it's going to be out
for longer um and i thought well you know if they're going to be rolling out the same game
perhaps it's gonna it's going to become forged you know where people kind of start to get bored
of it after a while but it turns out they've actually rebuilt the game from scratch
which is why it feels so much better it feels a lot smoother um and it's you know it was built out not
by yuga themselves but by faraway um who are kind of like a really experienced game studio who
have just built out serum city and i think they've got mini nation royale uh which is out at the
moment which everyone's kind of playing um so yeah so it just feels so much better and they've
added these new kind of elements to the game to make it more interesting um so yeah i mean
just about the the new features that they've introduced what do you think um do you like them
how are you finding them i'll just roll it i'll just i think that i think that the uh the magnet's
going to be a game changer you know it's like you can kind of like pick it up and then focus
on doing the run and you know things are just gonna like you know kind of get drawn to you
you know what i mean and and for me that was like one of the main challenges it's like wow you know
during the first run right it was like kind of like you know do i focus on grabbing these uh
little pills or do i like focus on not dying right so i i think i really think that magnet's a
game changer i i don't i'm not a fan of this nail i'm curious what you guys think about this
because that throws me off dude i'm i'm a fucking oh sorry go ahead now no go on fff go on okay
yeah dude i um i love the magnet not gonna lie fox dude the snail i fucking i kill it with the
snail dude i uh but hear me out so first at first i don't grab any of the snails uh in the beginning
it's kind of a little bit of waste of time because you're just fucking sitting there while
this thing just goes there's no obstacles it's not fucking hard at when you're in the beginning
um but towards you know when the music gets intense and it starts to chain you're fucking
going a million miles an hour you want to you want to be getting some slo-mo's in there you
know what i mean get some slo-mos in there get catch it's like a little breather you know what
i mean once you get it you fucking take a breath you're like oh fuck dude and then you
fucking jump right back in but at first the slo-mo's kind of yeah whatever but
towards like when it starts to speed up and shit it's uh it's definitely useful uh yeah i guess i'm
just not like i guess i'm just not like up to your level fff like for me like whenever i pick up the
snail like the screen changes slightly and i'm not able to see it's far ahead and that really throws
me off and then you know the sudden like jump into like speed mode again you know that always
throws me off yeah no i i agree they i'm glad that they're gonna be um fixing that because it
was a big problem it was like a big foggy bright green yeah yeah it was kind of weird too because
once you grabbed it and then if you grabbed the second one it would like cancel it out the green
the green thing i'm not sure they know that but um yeah dude the but i i agree and the other one
was the fucking uh the wooden walls god damn do you gotta call yeah that's tough you gotta pray
to jesus god damn christ and let him take the wheel cross your fingers baby jeez so just to just
for the benefit of the audience um the two power-ups one is a magnet and it kind of acts like um
if you've played subway surfer um before it acts like the same way so you you hit the magnet
and then all the the different kind of pieces that you know the items that give you your your bonus
points um are drawn to you and then the snail mode thing is basically once you hit once you
pick up a snail mode it really slows down time so it's kind of like um the only thing i can
compare it to is like toad mode but just um the screen's not as distorted so you know how in
toad mode um you were kind of um you were traveling a lot slower um it's like as if you're you're kind
of uh under the influence a little bit um and and what um what ffe was just just giving us was it
was a bit of alpha um it's good for the snail mode comes in handy when you're trying to
um kind of navigate the uh the obstacle so when you're trying to go through the fan blades and
then you've got uh kind of like the the rails behind it um and you're trying to go through those
obstacles when the game's going really quickly that's when that snail mode comes in and i think
um it's changed the game dynamic a little bit because i remember v1 we were we were going for
like the the items that we were collecting had kind of rankings if you remember they had like epic
um rare and uncommon and they gave you different points based on um which ones you collected um
and you kind of wanted to go for the epics and the rares really because you wanted to get the most
points um i think the game dynamics change now where you you look for the magnets rather than
looking for just the pieces um so you're kind of looking at it's kind of thrown like another
dynamic where you can um you're looking for not just the rarer pieces you're looking for the
magnets um perhaps trying to avoid this snail mode when you're in the first part of the game
where things are easier to navigate um and then when things speed up um yeah i mean in terms of
obviously the obstacles one thing that i found was that um there's more obstacles i don't know
if that's something that you guys have found but i feel like there's there's a lot more obstacles
earlier on in the course right um we're having to go through more kind of like fan blades we're
having to go through more kind of boards uh there's more kind of rails and stuff i feel
like there's more cows as well um dotted about goddamn cows bro fuck yeah i felt like the obstacles
like in the beginning they were more stacked on top of one another as opposed to spread out
like in the earlier version yeah yeah 100 and i think because someone pink someone asked me
you know nash like what do you think in terms of um like how hard uh that you know dukey dash
unclogged is compared to v1 do you think um in terms of like getting a score and and kind of
my take on it was that oh you kind of uh you can get a higher score in terms of kind of like
the the number because um we're collecting more kind of pieces because of the magnet and things like
that but then you've got more obstacles to kind of navigate and um you know that way it kind of
balances things out so it's i feel like in terms of kind of difficulty it's probably on par with
version one or maybe slightly slightly harder um i don't know how you guys are finding it
compared to the first version yeah i i i know that you did mention that i do agree there is a lot
more stuff definitely a lot more fucking uh things that knock you across the room you know
and i don't know if you guys know i think you guys know but they if you hit those things um
it gives you points in the game me personally i don't think it's fucking worth it getting
fucking knocked across the room and then getting yourself wrecked out there but um yeah there's
it does seem like there's a little bit more obstacles it might be because i'm assuming it'd
be uh because of the new power-ups it might balance it out with slow-mo and uh with the magnets
because once you get the magnets you know you don't really have to like move around to grab the
extra points you kind of just have to dodge the obstacles with but without the magnet you have to
grab the fucking things while dodging the other shit and slow-mo too you know so i think that it
kind of balances it out but um i think if we have a like a tad bit less because you want to make the
game enjoyable you know you don't want to go in there and get fucking smashed on as soon as you
get on there you know so i think there is a little bit more um we might have to say something about
that you know just to take it down a bit you know nothing too much because you still want it to be
challenging you don't want to be too easy but yeah that's my two cents i got a question how
do you guys feel about the uh the screen size like old versus new screen size what do you mean like
the way that's the iphone oh the orientation yeah yeah the phone the way that it's laid out right
now is just the phone so i i i know we've talked about this is not the best you know we obviously
if you want to be like on pc or macbook you want to have the full screen nobody wants to fucking
play the game in the middle of your screen and that's it you know what i mean but i think
that um i think they're working on it i i personally only like it on the phone a little
bit distracting on the on the pc or macbook you know yeah but on the desktop did was it like um
was it jarring you know did it take time to get used to or you know are you comfortable with it now
yeah i'm pretty comfortable with it i i don't see any huge difference with it it's just like i
guess a preference i think a lot of people would would want i think uh to have the full screen on
because dd1 was full screen and that was really fucking cool you know yeah yeah i think in terms
of like the mobile experience um i don't know if any of you guys tried it with uh with the version
one um you had to play through like your metamask browser um and that was awful um there was uh
it was kind of like a swipe kind of thing so it was like there wasn't it just didn't feel smooth
you it worked with with metamask but it was a case of you were kind of swiping and kind of um
dragging your finger um across the screen to kind of um maneuver your diver through the sewers
the mobile version that they've created this time around um is really cool because when you you
start the game um and you you put your finger on the screen it produces a joystick um so in effect
kind of turns your mobile screen into like a handheld kind of console um so you've got the
the joystick to be able to kind of maneuver your diver around in in um more kind of subtle
movement so it just feels a lot better um and then the the boost you've got two options you can either
double tap on the screen or they've got a boost button so if you kind of think of uh like uh
like a game boy or something like that you've got you've got your kind of joystick on the one side
and then you've got the buttons on the the other side of the screen so you can if you can play
kind of two two-handed and use like both thumbs or um there's so many different kind of ways that
you can you can play on the mobile um i've just found that it doesn't matter which way i hold the
screen you know i'm not competing with any of you guys and leaderboard but um i found that the mobile
version um has been built out pretty cool um it just worked so much better than than it did with
v1 um i don't know about yourself squidia how did you play v1 on on mobile browser or um is this
the first time that you're playing duke it first time i'm playing on mobile yeah have you played
um i'm playing on mobile i've been doing the one thumb on it and then just trying to tap the bottom
left sometimes like i didn't tap in the right place and i get wrecked which was uh which is
unoptimal sometimes but that seems to be it seems to be a better option than to double click because
when i'm like rolling i don't want to take my finger off of the trigger yeah that makes sense
yeah yeah yeah i found the same i found using the dash but the boost button that they've got
in the bottom left um of the screen kind of worked better than trying to double tap
um whilst trying to kind of navigate through the through the pieces
um yeah man i'm super excited man for this game to to come out it's obviously still in very early
alpha test mode um they're obviously um just rolled out a very basic version for us to
to kind of um have a go at and they're still refining it they're refining the the gameplay
and then not only that they're adding new features to it all the time that they're not
telling us about and just kind of throwing at us and um seeing what we make of it um
and the way that you know that they're taking the feedback on um like you guys have said and and
kind of um really really getting to to work on it straight away um
you know in terms of obviously some of the some of the new stuff that's included in dukie dash
um they're going to be including uh user generated content um so not only are we going to be able to
um change what you know what our diver looks like and use our own avatars um we're also
going to be able to use different vehicles um you'll be able to use you know attach different
skins on your avatars um and then you'll also be able to to stick uh use stickers
and i assume probably put stickers on your vehicle um which is going to be pretty cool um i mean we're
going to jump into to the ugc convo but before we we jump into that i've got uh baron van hossel
another council member of the ugalabs council welcome to the nft show um we're just chopping
it up man just talking about the the alpha test that we've been doing with dukie dash unclogged
and just kind of um sharing our experience of uh kind of like the very early alpha version that
we've been testing so um yeah i mean i guess um first questions um what platform have you been
playing it on and how are you finding it yo uh stoked to be here man uh happy it's friday
love seeing all the a-pummies here i actually played it this time around on my iphone which
i did not last time i don't know if anyone recalls but uh i had to buy a whole new mouth
and uh started buying new computer parts and everything and still sucked horribly
but it was a mouth or a mouse a mouse now you have to buy a whole new mouth like they
bringing in some this crazy new technology that i'm not i'm not yeah it's the gaming
piece mouth you'll put it in your mouth you'll feel that you can't rush do we just create
the next billion dollar idea dude that could be fired no but dude if i get on your phone this time
around it was built quite well uh i didn't really yeah and i i look forward to playing it more on
your phone or on my phone rather yeah 100 and um yeah i mean um are you are you like going
going home because i remember like v1 me and you both ended up buying like the it was like
the kind of like the pro gamer mouse we we bought like um the most kitted out mouse that we could
enter and uh is you know it made some difference i can't lie it did make a difference
but this time around i'm playing on mobile as well and i'm kind of paying it through
kind of like the lens of a casual gamer that you know just when i've got five minutes here and
there i'll jump into dookie dash and have a few rounds rather than you know sitting there and
kind of um knocking back energy drinks and um you know getting my a point ready to
to slog out like an hour of intense um games you know i mean so um what how are you kind of
approaching dookie dash unclogged are you are you going to be are you kind of playing it through
the lens of uh trying to win some nfts and golden plunges or absolutely not yeah no not at all um
i'm focused on the part that got me the most excited when we were in the in the early on
testing which is the user generated content um you know shout out to the goat rita got my ape
into the far away shop today already sold six of them uh so that means there's five people out
there because i bought the very first one um that are going to be playing you know some variant uh
with my ape and i hope more and i see your mutant out there i thought that was super cool to see a
mutant already and i see spen collecting all the homies so as soon as i get done uh and focus
that's what i'll be doing is buying all the you know cox clod see adam i know i know a lot of
other friends are going to be up sooner than later so i think for me i'm really going to be
focusing on building the the content out uh with my ape particularly you know marketing that as much
as i can and hoping that people outside of our ecosystem uh desire to have a pink ape to play
in these these upcoming games right that's i don't stand to to beat any of these pro gamers
you know i'll play for fun i'll play if there's like a seasonal option or you know just something
like that um but i'm not going to be playing as aggressively as i did in some of these other
yuga games but the content that that we're about to create and and see like it's going to be what
a lot of us uh probably spend the next few years of our lives doing if if it can create enough of a
ecosystem for us yeah man it's yeah it's you know um we've all bought skins on on games before but
it just hits differently when you're buying skins that oh you know a your own ip and then
secondly you're buying your friends uh you know ape skins or pfps it's just yeah it's crazy man
it's like um yeah it's just you know i've seen like spen playing um mini nation's royale with
my mutant skin and um i've only recently found out that you know that game actually works similar
to call of duty where you can actually jump into a lobby with your friends and um you know form like
a clan and go at it so it's going to be pretty sick to now that we've got a few of us on the
faraway shop we need to sort out some sessions where you know some of us apes jump into a
clan and go at it uh and yeah it's going to be like the web3 takeover of uh of these games which
is well i have that screen up on my computer right now and it's so fucking cool to watch your own
character standing there in a form that looks realistic with the 3d form and it's moving
and it's kind of dustering right and right now guys for anyone who's new and wants to get on this
like there's clod there's grateful there's nash there's rita uh adam hollander spend myself and
that's about it for apes up there right now so you know not to say like rush but like get on it if
you're trying to get up there early because we saw dookie dash post soon that i plan on having all
those different skins so i can ride through as nash ride through as dr you know like ride
through as all the homies that i can collect and and just have some fun doing it so if you
haven't already uh start start looking into it if you're interested what's the best way for someone
who maybe doesn't have a 3d model on them right now to to get the rape in there and asking for
a friend and that friend's name is squidy yeah oh my bad i'm gonna say for myself i got it from
rita so i would say hit him up and he has a very clever way of of you know getting you your ape
and mutant or whatever it may be that's that's who i would suggest rita yeah so so rita is um an og
in in the uh the other side yuga community he's done some crazy he's been doing 3d animations for
like coders and yuga ip from from uh from the start really so um you'll definitely have come
across his stuff somewhere um but squidy i'll get you in touch with him um he did he did my ape he
did baron's ape he's done most of the apes that are on fire away he's just a wiz with um 3d
models um so yeah i'll hook you up man and uh yeah and um yeah i mean in terms of like obviously um
the ugc aspect you know we've we've got we've got our apes um just kind of going back to
baron's point you know it's a surreal feeling kind of seeing your jpeg come to life and um take this
kind of um take this form now where you know it's kind of gone into another dimension where we're
able to run around in a game and um other people are running around in um our ape skins and it
kind of uh has more meaning than just buying a skin off of a game that is just uh you know
there's no context behind it um in terms of like duki dash unclogged um one of the kind of main
one of the main aspirations for this game is to um get yuga ip and board ape ip um across to the
masses and and gaga treated himself when the game was first teased out that you know this is
going to be yuga's kind of way of uh having you know yuga and board ape ip in millions of pockets
um we've you've obviously you've put your your ip now on um the faraway store baron
and you guys are having this conversation on other space fm and i found it really
really interesting because it was something that i've been kind of um thinking a lot about before
i put my ape on um i wanted to kind of um run through your thought process with in terms of your
ape you've obviously you've put it on uh the store um i haven't been able to get into the store yet to
see what you've listed your ape on as um what chain so we've got three options in terms of
which chain you can pick i think it's it's polygon um salana and i think it's eath right
the third chain um so which which chain did you go for and um what have you priced your ape at
and uh kind of what was the thought process behind you making those decisions
so uh at first i was kind of thinking i was going to do a two three three nine kind of
thing and make it you know similar to my board ape number and try to find some some
what i thought would be funny cute whatever and then i saw everyone left there's infinite and i
went well okay there's only a few and i looked at every other board ape up and every single person
had it at point one uh except for clod he did it in matic and soul uh point one soul i mean so
i've been using soul a lot lately it was already set up on my computer easy peasy set it up uh went
with point one soul because that's about 10 bucks or so depending on the day and i've been
playing fortnite recently i bought 20 worth of a skin the other day and thought yeah i don't know
if i would want to do that a bunch of times you know so ten dollars like okay that's you know a
mcdonald's uh combo and no big deal kind of thing so thought okay i want it to be for the masses i
like the fact that if i sell it myself i'll get 90 percent of that cut so let's say i'm getting
point nine or so point oh nine soul all right an infinite amount who knows how many you can sell
but what i do know is that the instant payment works so as soon as they sell it it's already
in my soul count um it's pretty neat and now i'm automatically going ahead and going to be like what
other glb files do i have so i've got a party bear boom that's going to go up soon i got a
one of those fluff rabbits boom that's going up soon and i want to get to five verified pieces
because once you get five verified pieces um they take away a restriction and they they
they allow you to just start to create a little bit more frequently so um like i said earlier my
focus is going to be entirely on this creator economy probably for the next few months at least
and getting as many different files as i can up at most realistically like 10 bucks a pop
hey baron sorry what was the uh restriction can you go through that again so when you when you
submit your uh glb file it gets um just kind of checked by the company to make sure it fits all
their specs and requirements uh they require you to do that five times before you're a
creator or something like that that's a verified creator i believe uh and then once you have five
approvals by them they just allow you to upload as frequently as you want to because they trust
you at that point i've just uh i'm just checking out the shop baron's boutique let's fucking go
i love it i love the branded um ffe i've seen you've got an ar filter with your
ape um are you thinking of um sticking your ape on um the faraway store what your plans oh yeah
definitely um i had a dm from i think rita a couple weeks ago i fucking forgot to dm
and back so i just dm'd them back i'm gonna be trying to get up on there um that's cool i
didn't know that you um i mean i didn't know that you guys could sell it i didn't know that
it was 90 percent of the cut that's that's pretty fucking awesome i didn't had no idea i thought it
was like a kind of like a you know 50 50 or you know something like that but yeah i'm definitely
gonna be doing that the ape filter on my head i um that's a forever thing you know i got it from
uh this this this uh project called filter um yeah yeah yeah anyways yeah man i'm definitely

iconic ape as well um it's gonna be 16 that running around um and yeah dude especially
like creating fucking you know creating content and stuff it's gonna be good you know uh obviously
this is my pfp so like trying to making more relatable you know as i'm trying to
brand myself within the space hopefully that works well enough to where you know people
want to rock a ffv on on the games or some shit like that am i expecting it no but um
you know i mean it'd be cool you know it'd be cool but i'm definitely gonna be out there

um yeah i mean in terms of like um the 3d ape you know 3d apes that um yugas created
them halos look fucking sick bro like the halos and the blue beams were the ones that stood out
for me um the fact that they glow and uh they kind of uh set that video with kind of sunset
where it was uh slightly kind of like dim you could see the glow off it you can imagine you
know running through the other side at night and you see this halo running at you with a little
you know with a little cigar and a cigarette end glowing as well it's gonna look sick
um but yeah i mean just going back to it's obviously like the ugc convo and i know that's
a fee you've you've got a drop in a sec so um i appreciate you coming on man and kind of sharing

it's interesting because um obviously how you you know you're you're kind of the way that you've
priced your ape as well baron obviously um it was a similar similar kind of situation
when i put my mutants up it was kind of like looking at what's already available on the market
and then kind of pricing yourself um accordingly and and you're right i kind of went through the
same kind of thought process where i was thinking about it i'm not in the sense of um you know you're
you're selling an nft collection or anything like that it was a case of you know this is going to be
uh a game that's going to be free to play uh and people have got the option to be able to to
purchase a skin and you know as someone that's outside of kind of like if you take off your
web3 hat for a second and you're thinking about buying a skin in a game how much would you
be happy to spend on a skin in order to play a casual game um and kind of thought of it in
that sense and um in terms of obviously you know getting your ip i think the thing that resonated
with me was um the sentiment and i liked it the aim that you uh seems to be focusing on
and that's pushing the board ape and yuga ip to the masses and um you know gaga himself is saying
that he wants to have you know board apes and yuga ip in a million pockets um it's going to
be on the app store um and it's a case of kind of um you know in that sense i didn't want to
to stick like a limit on how many skins that people can buy you know if um if it's going to hit a
million mobile phones then you know you don't want to you don't want to cap that and um kind of
restrict how you know the reach of your ip and i think the other thing as well um that i was
thinking about was that eventually um we're going to be getting like official uh yuga 3d files for
our apes and i feel like um you know in terms of creating like a digital store
you've got obviously your ape your ape is your apes ip and your your kind of apes branding
within that you're going to have so many items and collectibles that you can release
you can have various different models for your ape for one you can have your ape wearing various
different outfits you can have so many derivatives and then you can have this kind of like this
official yuga 3d model which might be something that you kind of um mark it as more of a limited
edition or you know like a like a special item that um you know you kind of your biggest
collectors or your your biggest kind of fans want to to kind of get their hands on so yeah so um
that's kind of how i'm thinking about it i'm thinking about it as you know perhaps having
loads of um kind of lower entry derivatives and then perhaps thinking about more kind of like
official um yuga items and we're going to get 3d files for not just our apes but we're going
to get 3d files for for uh kennel clubs coders heavy metals uh and all that so um yeah man it's
this is obviously like a first dip in the pond but um it's going to be cool man to see uh you
know our ip um kind of being put to use like this i think what's also cool too is that it
puts it on a different blockchain like someone just dr dave just sent me a screenshot he grabbed one
of one of grateful and it's now it's like living on the salona blockchain in in a manner of speaking
you know and talking about interchangeable uh interoperable whatever cross chain sean and i
were talking about this yesterday like is there a world in where other side you know starts to
have nft assets that aren't on ethereum that still interact with the game and and the assets and
i kind of start to think yes just based on what we're doing right here right like
i imagine our interoperable avatars that we just launched on far away maybe in a future we'll
work in the other side right and if those are salona that's very interesting so
yeah i think uh the the cross chain kind of um narrative is is something that um when you
think about it now it's it's kind of like it's so obvious right you know um i don't understand how
we we can we get into this little bubble of you know we're just ethereum nft collectors or
you know we're gonna we're gonna dab into it to kind of salona but
realistically you know it doesn't really have you know in terms of like an in-game asset
does it really matter which chain it's on i mean salona for me was um was a choice that i made
because of um just you know in terms of kind of like gas fees and things like that it just
made sense you know if you're going to be buying an item for you know 10 10 bucks you don't want
to be spending you know uh 25 of that on gas fees you know so it's kind of like um yeah so um
you know these are kind of like the things that we have to start thinking about and
in terms of like other side for it to be scalable you know that's going to be a conversation that
i'm sure that they're having in the background all the time so it'd be interesting to see how it how
it looks when it when it gets rolled out but yeah yeah for sure that's what makes you so excited
about dookie is the scalability and the potential and how much easier it is to get mobile games
out in front of people just based on the sheared numbers game with how many more people have a
mobile device versus a pc rig or a pc setup um so and that's uh with something that you know
if anyone's not too familiar with me what we got rocking myself along with another ape the
absolutely legendary mr caldy we do a we've got a platform called superfine um working on
a few things there to get that involved basically it's getting kind of web three ready users
utilizing blockchain and traditional ad networks to help market and grow mobile games and we
currently service axi infinity right now which is you know i'm sure you guys have all heard of
axi if you guys have been around the space for a little bit um and they don't even have a mobile
app right now um but from a guy called if he's had like millions of downloads we're looking for
right potential solutions to maybe try and help power and help utilize that
for for dukey because since it's being it's going to be a downloadable game making sure that you know
getting the game out there from a marketing side with the right cost per install and on the right
networks and seeing what's happening is uh something we're very excited about on our end then it's
so much easier with a with a mobile game again with uh who doesn't want to race through the
sewers baby who doesn't want to race through the sewers so there's ads you get on instagram
there's ads you get on facebook or if people are still on there um it's gonna be it's gonna be
really it's gonna be really interesting because you know there's so many different accounts
right now too that you know they've signed up and they own a gaming nft and their emails associated
to it right or their twitter is associated to it and so many different ways kind of like
to take some web two gaming strategies and marketing strategies and utilize them with these
mobile games that it's gonna expose you know by bringing dukey dash to the masses and making it
free to play free to download it opens up all these different types of possibilities to bring
in new users to the ecosystem yeah man absolutely and um it's gonna be dope man just seeing kind of
some of these stories where people kind of stumble across a game and end up winning an nft
and then kind of you know end up uh falling through the rabbit hole into to the web 3 space
that'll be pretty cool um dukey dash v1 um was a resounding success and that was a token gated
experience that was airdrop to their existing holders but through that game they they expanded
their ecosystem by 40 percent so um you know you know making this game free to play and and
kind of available to the masses um i'm super excited to see what kind of impact that has
and then obviously you've got all the marketing and um you know all the marketing power that you go
it's capable of throwing out as well so that's gonna be cool i think um you know in terms of
like all these gaming experiences it feels like they're they're kind of throwing throwing out all
these um different mechanics that we're hoping to see in the other side um meta rpg and kind of
interoperability and um being able to you know put user generated content in their games and
have you know and be able to monetize it um super excited to see how that that kind of um
gets adopted and um how things go because at the moment we're seeing kind of
even obviously what we're able to kind of play the game and they've not enabled um ugc content
um in the alpha testing yet um that's something that they're still working on and hopefully
they'll be able to roll that out for us um for the next phase of testing and we'll be able to
kind of put some um screen recordings and things on the timeline showing kind of different age
um dashing through the sewers but i'm seeing kind of like this uh this really good kind of buzz on
the timeline where even people that um aren't actually testing the game are like interested
in getting their models ready and um have already put their models on the faraway store
even though dookie dash isn't out yet and people are jumping jumping on and picking up these skins
and then jumping into other games that are available on faraway um and and playing them
already so uh you know that it feels like the vibes on the timeline are sick um people are
really taken to the ugc side um really well there seems to be a buzz everyone kind of wants to
get their apes done in 3d um but not only is this going to be open to
uh the yuga ecosystem i'm excited to see all the other different ip and all the different
projects that kind of jump into it and we're seeing with you know nifty island and all these
are the games that are kind of like open to to just web 3 in general um and you're seeing
all the different ip running around it's gonna be fun seeing kind of like pudgy penguins or like
sappy seals on on kind of like uh these kind of dookie riders um you know driving through
the sewers and then you know not only can we customize the avatars you can customize the
vehicles as well so people can get really creative man um you know we've seen some some of the
customized vehicles that they've teased out we've seen um the the motorbike that they
uh that faraway created we've seen like the Cadillac that they've made um we've had some
sneak peeks of some more interesting ones um that i can't wait to kind of test drive and
share with everyone on the timeline um but yeah man i'm super excited to see kind of what um
what people you know take the ugc tools and run with it not just um you know what the yuga and
ape community do i think um i've got um obviously strong advocate for coders um at the moment
uh reader is trying to figure out how to get a coder on a dookie rider um it's not as simple as
as it's sticking like an ape on there because um and you know at the moment um the vehicles are
kind of designed for like a human shaped um avatar to to be able to to sit on the the vehicle
and go down uh and ride it so a coder obviously is a lot shorter and a lot uh stouter so it's uh
it's a bit it's a bit a bit of a challenge but i'm sure if anyone can figure it out reader is
going to be able to figure that out um yeah so that should be cool man i can't wait to
to see if we can get coders in dookie dash as well that'd be sick
but yeah i mean in terms of like um anything else in terms of um dookie dash um that you guys are
excited for um obviously uh you know squiddy we're gonna get your ape on uh on the faraway store soon
so hopefully we'll be able to dash with your ape and foxy you um are you thinking of getting your
um rainbow colored grin on there as well oh yeah absolutely i got uh i got a army that i
want to get onto the store so yeah in due time um one of the things that i wanted to kind of like
ask you because obviously you've got this beautiful ape lovely rainbow colored grin and then we've got
the yuga the models where all of the apes have got like the the bored face on there um and you
can't see your lovely rainbow colored teeth um so obviously reader's done my mutant model and i
don't know if you've seen that but he's kind of designed it so that it's got the grin
on there so you can see that the model kind of resembles my ape um what are your thoughts on
that do you think would you um would you want your ape to to be permanently smiling or would
you be happy for it to be hiding those gems i i think i'd want it to be permanently uh smiling
but yeah we were testing the yuga on the side uh demo you know that was one of my um
comments i was just like you know would it be possible to add like a hotkey emote so that my
ape could at least smile and you know show off that grin you know yeah that's that's it so um
um yeah man so i've just pinned up um bolu who's also got a rainbow grin and reader did his model
um just today for um the faraway store so he's designed um
you know bolu's ape with that grin smile on and i can see kind of from like i can see it from both
um perspectives um obviously we've got pfp's and we want our 3d models to try and
resemble our pfp's um exactly um but then i can also see it from kind of like a game design
standpoint where um when you when you have like a game character you want to kind of have the
mouse in a neutral kind of position and then when you get to kind of like cutscenes and things like
that they can talk and mouth moves and so forth it just feels more natural um rather than walking
around with this um permanent silly grin on your face um you know no matter what the situation is
that you're going through in the game um so i can see it from both that standpoint but um
yeah i'd love to see you know i'm interested to see whether they take that feedback from the
la test strip because it'll be dope to to be able to do like an emote and kind of flash those uh
you know those uh rainbow colored pearls
what your thoughts anyway squiddy because you're you're obviously
sorry uh can you say that one more time yeah so what your thoughts on the the 3d apes were you
were you able to use your ape did you go to to hong gong or did you go to the la test strip
yeah i was able to it was cool to use my ape in uh after other side testing in hong kong hong kong
was freaking awesome what up got my guy grateful in the house it's great to kick it with him
out there and see all these other other dope apes um captain coffee with captain took a
hilarious video that i was really excited when i was playing the other side and i was
dancing i had my thing and i was like brought the house down i broke a light
and he captured his own video it's pretty it's pretty funny content um
break breaking on through to the other side in a uh literally literal literal in a literal meeting um
so it was that was a lot of fun i tried to be a dj but you know just like the rest of my life i
can't dj and yeah i i definitely very much enjoyed it it's really cool to see it running
around and that definitely that definitely made me pumped and i gotta like gotta go back and forth
so i got my two apes and they you know my two alter egos um so that was a big challenge too
trying to figure out which one to to get in but the pfp is just it's just classic you know i'm a
floor guy it's a floor ape it's clean um so this is the one i probably kind of used since
the one i've had is the the pfp for a while but that was uh it was really cool man it was
definitely exciting and came with the father's updates yeah man it's going to be so cool to be
able to to run around the other side with your apes um with you know everyone running
around in the other side obviously um and hopefully you know yuga released the 3d files
after that the apes come home um that'd be sick please i'm interested 100 i'm interested to see
how they how they kind of package that up you know um in terms of obviously the 3d files um
what kind of format they use obviously that'll give us um more of an idea of kind of uh the
direction that they're looking at heading with um with other side you know um in terms of
interoperability and um yeah it'll be cool man it'll be cool to see how they package that up
whether we get ar filters with it whether we get um you know the 3d models whether we get various
different models in different formats um that's gonna be dope man and um you know in terms of
obviously the mutants that's uh you know it's it's gonna be a challenge um reed is killing it
designing um 3d models for mutants um they're definitely not easy to make with all the different
traits um you know a lot of artists struggle trying to create derivatives of of mutants so
no surprise that yuga's kind of um taking their time um before they kind of release anything or
or kind of throw any sneak peeks out but um yeah man super stoked to see what 3d mutants will look
like um on on the topic of kind of like 3d avatars um legend bailey um who's also a yuga labs council
member um made these one of one honorary mebit skins um for all of us to be able to test kind
of like the ugc function of dookie dash and they look phenomenal um his work is so clean
um bailey's just uh an incredible 3d artist he does um daily um you know blender he calls him
his daily blender renders which are just a really creative kind of 3d animations that he drops on
a day-to-day basis um and yeah man he and then he he does some phenomenal kind of animations with mebits
um so yeah man i'm super excited to be able to dash through the sewers with these um
with these cool mebit skins that he's done for us um the colorway that he's picked is so dope it's
got um dookie dash on the front of the t-shirt and then he's got our pfps on the back as well
so when we're sitting on those riders um you'll be able to see our pfp which is going to be sick
and um i was fortunate enough to to be invited to uh the berlin test trip which was um where we
tested out uh meep tropolis with grateful um and the rest of the gang and meep tropolis is sick
it's you know the way that they've built it out um it really kind of felt to me like a triple
a experience um and left me feeling really bullish about what they're doing with those
other sides i'm i'm excited to see how the swamp feels um didn't get a chance to jump in
um at l.a and and wasn't able to go to to the hong kong trip so
gassed man can't wait to to be able to jump into the swamp and kind of go and explore
i think um in terms of like you know that kind of nicely brings us to kind of like the
the last leg of uh the conversation which is that the tweet that came out from tank atf
i don't know if you guys are following tank atf um squiddy or fox are you guys are you
guys part of the project so you guys following what's going on with them i've tried my hardest
i've really tried my hardest to follow along what the fuck is going on there but i have not i have

to see that um come to fruition now so we obviously know that tank atf um and is gonna
is gonna become part of the other side and there's so at the moment where we're waiting
to to be able to create our pfp's um or tank atf um which we're going to be able to take into the
other side and they dropped a really cool video um which is quite interesting because it shows us
a little bit of the other side and um you know the swamp in particular and um we get to see kind
of like some of the features um of the other side swamp um in a little bit more detail so up until
now in terms of like tank atf we've had um a map drawn out of new tokyo and in the map you can see
all the different um different kind of quarters of uh new tokyo so you can see um where the the
club house is you can see where um you know wagmi-san's shop is and you can see all the different
projects they've got like their own um like hq's in the other side um i've just pinned up a tweet
from peanut um which shows us a still of um you know one of the um one of the frames from that
video i haven't pinned the video up um but in the video you can see kind of like the swamp there so
you can see all the different small islands uh you can see where the muting cavern is you can see where
the clubhouse is and one of the things that i kind of like picked up and you know again this isn't
like this isn't confirmed from tank atf but uh was quite intriguing to me was that we can see
kind of these objects hovering over the the water there which look like the spaceships that we're
we're putting together in in the other side legends of amara um which is pretty interesting um but with
that you know tank atf has been kind of like teasing out um sneak peeks of their pfps um through
various channels so you'll see kind of like a screen grab from a discord conversation you'll see
a screen grab that like some of the community members have managed to find somewhere and
posted on the timeline and what was interesting was that there was a screenshot of um a 3d version
of uh one of the pfp types um which got me really excited because um that kind of for me
kind of in a sense it's kind of like reaffirming that um that kind of speculation that eventually
this this the pfp that we're going to be getting for tank atf are going to be linked to a 3d file
that's going to be able to that we're going to be able to use as an avatar in the other side
so yeah man i'm super super excited man for for everything that's coming together now it feels
like um we're kind of getting to that point in um all of these different projects where
we're going to be you know yuga is going to be kind of like opening uh you know popping open that
the fizzy bottle that they've been kind of shaking up for so long and we're going to be getting
a lot of stuff uh delivered um quite kind of like quite imminently it feels like um and it's going
to be one thing after another um which i'm super excited about um so we've got obviously dookie
dash unclogged kind of in the in the pipeworks we've got apes come home and then we've got kind
of like the gray old um new tokyo uh the tank atf pfp's kind of um on the horizon as well
and then we've also got kind of like the magic eden uh yuga marketplace uh that's also on the
horizon so yeah it seems like a lot is going to be happening relatively soon um yeah man i'm
i'm stoked and you know in the meantime we're all having fun creating 3d versions of our apes
sticking them on the timeline and kind of buying each other's apes i've i've already bought um
gratefuls um i've started building a team i've got grateful in there um i'm gonna get clawed in there
um i've got spen to add so i'm gonna you know cheaters the cheater gang's not hanging about
man they're quick to the game um just like the the fur and speaking of cheaters we've got nana
who's requested to come up on stage um welcome to the nfc show nana how's it going man yo it's
going well it's good great show i love hearing uh the ugalabs gaming council takes uh definitely
getting some fomo as you guys are talking about it but i like to hear the strategy it just makes
me so excited that this is about to come out dude yeah man it feels like it's um
yeah i've got a good feeling for it it's going to be very different to um it's going to be very
different to the approach that yuga's taken um with their previous games um you know it's not
they're not pushing this for web 3d gens to kind of go into it's kind of
it's going to be marketed for kind of like the masses um there's obviously an aspect of it
that's going to be for um you know competitive gamers in terms of like the the e-sports
tournament and the nft prizes and the golden plunger and everything else so it's going to
have that web 3 aspect of it but it seems like the thing that a lot of people a lot of us are
kind of really excited about seems to be more um getting our ip into the game um creating kind
of user generated content getting our ip out um and everything else so um you know from what
you've heard now like what's the thing about this game that excites you and what are you looking
forward to yeah i think the the ugc component i think is like one of the the really cool things
that excites me um but you know the fact that it's open and available for anyone to play you
know i think they're leading with this ip with you know board a pia club and
um you know started off with that but you know as it gets to more and more players and
gets into more and more streaming communities and things like that hey if they have the
the faraway shop and they're able to upload their own user generated content and rally around that
like this this can go anywhere you know in terms of it becomes a platform almost do you know what i
mean um which all ties in to the lore and the story of um board a pia club so i think it's
a huge net positive for just the ecosystem and like gaga said just getting into a million pockets but
man i'm i'm excited you know i got you and grateful i got baron um so i'm ready to get into
these sewers i still need to collect some of the other homies it's dope to support you know some
of these creators and shout out to rita um it's it's awesome to to see so many so many of like
familiar apes and then just the whole ecosystem serum city that's coming into play and man it's
just uh it's exciting that to know like this one character will will be able to be showcasing and
all these other games um but you know i had a question because i brought this up and uh
taylor actually posed this question made me really think about it taylor nelson shout out taylor
at other page but um you know if like your avatar like playing as nash that becomes like a digital
identity and if creators are putting this up there for anyone to play in these games like
what do you guys think about other people playing as your character even if you were to jump in
to that multiplayer game and you no longer have that digital identity if there's other people
you know kind of running around as as nash so to speak so i was just curious to get
other people's thoughts on that because we're all uh uploading and in fact i just deployed the
milli meditate my ape on on the faraway shop you know and i did the same thing point one soul
edition size infinity yeah buddy let's fucking go i haven't posted about it but it's up there
it is rolling packs bro i've got three cheaters to add to the to the to the gang now so sick
yeah so yeah i'm just curious it's a good question though like yeah like what are your thoughts on
that dude yeah man it's it's a dope question and um yeah i think it in terms of like um
in terms of like the digital identity i think that's the beauty of the blockchain
you know um and that's where you can you know you've got that
you know that authentication of you know who the who the owner of the ape is you know it's um
it's the same i feel like the way that i kind of um the way that i'm thinking about obviously
having people play as my my ape in games and things is like you know you're selling t-shirts
with your apes um kind of art printed on them um and it's the same kind of thing it's kind of like
another version of merchandise you know um and i think in terms of obviously um
you know having that um having the the original nft you know if someone goes and looks up um
your ape's id they can see that it's sitting in your wallet and and that's really kind of like
that's really kind of all the authentication i need you know in terms of like digital ownership
and and digital identity um yeah i mean it's it's it's one of those things here you've got like um
and the thing is if you're building with your if you're building with your brand and
if you're trying to get your your brand out there it's going to be difficult to to do that without um
without you know letting people um without sharing your ip with people if you if you know
what i mean but um it's it's a it's a good question and it's something that i'm kind of
like toying with in terms of like the official yuga 3d model you know i think um at the moment the
way that i've kind of like thought about it is that i've got i've got i'll probably have
various versions of my ape you know in terms of like 3d models i've got one with the grin
i might have one that he's got a neutral face um i might have one where he's in tighty whities
you know because he's a 40 he's got trousers and boots on at the moment he might be sitting in
shorts he might be sitting um you know he might have i might have a version of my ape that's got
different clothing on sorry for the late night voyages over you know in the outskirts of the
infinite expanse you know what i mean so head over to freaky island so so so in terms of that
you've got that option you know you can have like loads of like derivative versions of your
ape and then you might want to hold on to like the official 3d file for yourself and and that's
going to be like your your own version of your digital avatar you know it's a good question though
and um it's one that's um that a lot of people are going to have to kind of think about when
it comes to kind of ugc content and um yeah i'm sure like as everyone's doing it is it even
something people are even thinking about first of all you know but uh also there's this whole
kind of just aping in into this new platform and trying something out and that's what we're seeing
as well you know it's like yo we got our shit i think the fact that it is ip that we own
and can be used in so many different forms then you know i've we've seen it with uh you know
certain streamers and players like put out of skin and call of duty and then everyone's rocking that
skin you know and it brings awareness to that person or or that ip so uh the fact that far away
is also going to be working on like the expansion for legends of the mara knowing that these avatars
and vehicles could potentially you know uh have a play in there if other people are going to be
able to play as your particular ape nash you know or my ape you know then it's going to show up
in ceram city for other people it may not be me it could be someone else and it's just something
that you know just kind of got my mind going in terms of digital identity uh but at the same time
there's ip and those aren't necessarily like go hand in hand like ip can can be something where
you do want it to spread and you know have people become more and more aware of uh so you know
there's certain certainly a lot of components that could actually go into digital identity
but yeah man it's just some food for thought and loved hearing your take on it and i felt
and you know squiddy i don't know if you have any takes on it either or sam man but the um
i am thinking about like yeah the official you know files from yuga labs you know and the other side
and what i was also thinking about was you know if one big difference you'll see with my ape
in the other side compared to um maybe someone else that has the same files is you're going
to see that gucci trail oh yeah you know i'm saying like there's there's things like that
that allow you to flex in different ways that kind of contribute toward your digital identity
and i think we're not even seeing the significance of many of these different things just yet
but we will yeah man really interesting um really interesting point um sam man welcome to the nft show
um is there anything that you wanted to to hop in with any questions that you wanted to raise
you know i'm i'm a little behind on the game aspects and i've seen everybody trading
skins of our apes and i'm just wondering where we're getting those from
um yeah so um the so the the game that um that yuga's kind of building at the moment is dookie
dash unclogged and one of the features of that game is that we'll be able to in input our user
generated content so we've got our road 3d files um onto the faraway store and then be able to use
those um those avatars and we can create vehicles or skins and we can use those in the game and um
what kind of started off as um people on the uh the yuga gaming council putting their avatars on
to to be able to alpha test um the game whilst they're still building it out it's kind of
turned into this um this this buzz of a lot of people um trying it out you know getting the
3d 3d versions of their apes made putting them on the faraway shop and then there are games
that um are not yuga games that you can already play um that incorporate ugc so you can you know
put your ape on the faraway shop and then jump into one of these other games that faraway is
built and and play as your ape eventually when um dookie dash unclogged is uh is finalized
and it's released um we'll be able to jump into that and and use our um our 3d files as our
characters um and and obviously now now that you've obviously got this information i mean i
just want to kind of like pose the question of um you know with your own ape um sam and if
if you had the option would you um would you want to keep the 3d version of your ape yourself
to use or would you be happy for it to be uploaded onto a store and um for other people to
to kind of purchase and be able to play as your ape um what are your thoughts i think it'd be
you know a fun experiment to to uh offer it up but um you know i'm just curious i'm developing the
ip myself and doing this cooking show and things so it's it's a he's developing as a character right
anyway and um you know it's just uh trying to reach into all the different aspects
of the other side and the opportunities there and you know what we can do with these apes and
characters irl and you know bouncing back and forth so i'm just curious about it and uh
i kind of found behind the gaming aspects and all the 3d stuff so i wanted to come in and say hey
man i appreciate you appreciate you being here and hopping up on stage um but yeah i mean squiddy
obviously um same question to you man um obviously now you're thinking about putting your ape on
um you've created some lore around your apes um in terms of like your alter egos um what your
thoughts now on um kind of like the conversation of um trying to protect your digital identity and
um kind of like your unique um ownership and um having your ip available um for the masses
i think it's gonna be interesting because you know i'm i'm a nobody right i'm just a
i'm just a dude in the swamp um i don't necessarily think that like and i'm not like
i'm not an influencer i'm not a uh you know someone who's like trying to be famous or someone who's
trying to get out there i just like doing cool shit and being part of an ecosystem
that i love and i represent man i think it's awesome that people are like starting to create
collections with their with their homies there um i think it'll be cool with like you know
some of my friends in the outside world if i'm trying to get them on board and some of my gamer
friends get them on and it's a cool way to kind of like support me in that regard um but yeah
it's just uh as these new opportunities continue to come up it's definitely really cool to explore
and see the possibilities that are around there then when the right opportunity the right situation
comes up at the right time make some moves and and see how see how we can connect and further that
for the ip and by furthering the squiddy ip it's furthering the the board ape ip and you know
trying to continue to bring more eyes to the brand and the ecosystem that we all uh we all love and
hold near and dear to our hearts yeah man i appreciate um i appreciate that take and and
you're not just a floor ape to me squiddy um you're a grail bro so um yeah remember that i appreciate
that i'll be adding a squiddy to my collection for sure i mean by the way there's so many like
i don't know how the great love in the space absolutely love the space and nft and i have to

conversation i think um and it's definitely one that's that's great to have um with everyone
um because it's it's going to be um it's going to be a dilemma that we're going to face when
it comes to the official other side you know and um we do have this kind of like um
this this exposure this mass exposure to um the board AIP and everything else
and how we're going to kind of approach that and tackle that um so it's going to be a it's
going to be a fun experiment i think um and it you know it's it's really kind of getting the cogs
kind of turning so um but in terms of like obviously um good just going back to you now and obviously
you you had this thought what made you then you know throw a hell mary and um kind of throw your
throw uh milli meditate on the uh the faraway shop um and how have you kind of like set it up so
in terms of like um i'm gonna have a little look and see if i can find millie on the on the shop
here but um how did you kind of approach it what what chain did you go for what what was your thought
process behind that um what have you priced it at and uh what quantity have you gone for
um i priced it at 0.1 sole so obviously went for Solana blockchain with that price and
yeah i'm honestly i think there's so much like traction with what's happening on Solana
and it didn't make sense for me to publish it on eath considering the gas and you know i wanted
accessible and uh i think also with all the upcoming things that are happening with magic
eden i feel like magic eden got the juice right now you know what i mean like the whole cross chain
uh multiple chains they have a wallet that they're going to be launching uh pretty soon that allows
you to you know essentially manage all of the different nfts from the multiple chains
whether it's bitcoin or uh Solana or matic or eath um so i think with all that in mind
it just made sense for me to you know publish it on sol i've recently become more and more
familiarized with it just degenning and um you know i think one thing in the space especially
throughout the bear is like if you're not working on your wallet like you're working on yourself
and you're hopefully doing both at the same time and uh certainly a lot of great lessons
and learnings that that i've been having over this span of time so you know when it comes to gaming
obviously these games can't just rely on eath you know maybe for a primary nft um but you know
when it comes to like digital wearables user generated content it just makes sense uh and i
love kind of seeing what the faraway shop is is doing with all of this and uh i think that's
the other thing is like the first mover advantage type thing this to me i like i got into other side
and was really excited about it because i felt this could be a platform that can have a thriving
creator ecosystem and with what's happening with the strategic partnership that faraway has
with yuga labs um if i just like take dookie dash unclogged you know and and just generalize it
it just seems like here's the strategic partnership in terms of like an implementation of user
generated content and a scalable platform that they can work with and so i think it's a it's a
big experiment as well and i'm really happy to be a part of you know creators that are willing to use
their ip and communities to support that you know and see like does this work what's the price
discovery all that stuff needs to get figured out by all of us and so you know if everyone just sat
there thinking about you know i'd wait for this or this doesn't look great or man i don't want to do
this because the tech specs aren't up to par it's like you know we just got to learn by doing it
and then figuring shit out as we go and that's one of the things i'm really excited about so it's
dope to see so many people within the community like just be like yo let's fucking go let's see how
this works let's learn from it and then you know conversations like we just had earlier today and
something that taylor brought up um in a chat earlier with him you know it's just like okay
what about digital identity if multiple people are around you it's like yeah you know what
you you don't really think about that stuff until like you start putting your shit up
for sale in an infinite edition size and people are able to play as your shit in all these games
you know it's like oh shit now it's happening so i love the conversation i love just being in the
arena and uh i'm stoked i'm really stoked to just see where this goes and yeah how people
resonate with it i think um i think just kind of going back to squiddy's point as well um
and just to kind of like um just to give like that you know the the take of
you know the fact that we've got this ip you put it out on the shop and um to see that someone
actually wants to to purchase your ip i mean you can put you can put something out on the shop there
but you know who you know what connection what is it unless you're like a top influencer that
you don't got kind of like a huge brand um you know it's it's a surreal feeling kind of seeing someone
um and i know that we're all kind of we're all friends here and we're collecting each other's
apes and it's cool to be able to kind of run around with you know uh as as one of your mates
in this game um but it's a surreal feeling seeing someone else using your ape skin and
you know being really excited about it and um you know us to see kind of like um like spen just
jumped into um uh mini rile nation and dim run you know jumped into that game and was kind of like
playing with all the different ape skins that he's collected um and then just going around and
going on a rampage and just having fun it's um it's a cool feeling man just to see that obviously
the you know the apes that we have and the ip obviously means something to us and it's got some
kind of sentimental connection to us but to see other people get some joy in um being able to
kind of um share your apes ip with you um also gives um you know that kind of like this great
feeling so it's uh yeah man it's it's definitely a an interesting conversation i think it's um it's
going to be cool to to be able to experiment um i think obviously that the first kind of um
the first experiment's going to be obviously um at the pricing point you know in terms of like
nfts and things like that it's it's interesting that now that we're thinking of things without
you know by taking off the web 3 hat and thinking about obviously um this game kind of reaching um
the masses and trying to think of um you know your nfts as not um like nfts or you know potentially
like um just skins in a game um it's cool man it's it's great that we're at this point now
where we're starting to think about these things and experimenting with it and i'm excited to see
how it how it goes when the game comes out for sure um and yeah man i can't wait to start
collecting more apes i've definitely got three cheetahs now that are on the list
cheetah game's wrong bro bro it's gonna be like a pack of cheetahs going around
minion nation just headshotting everyone it's gonna it's gonna be cool but um you know there's
something that i really like and appreciate about this real quick is there is uh
they have like serum city that's coming out they're part far away is partnered with like uh
you know other games besides like with yuga labs right um and then with these models
they're doing like some pretty unique things once you upload these like they can export
you know because they're all using like a humanoid skeleton um there they can export these as like
2d sprites as well and so you know you can see your ape and stuff like that as a as a 2d character
in some of these uh like games like serum city and things like that so it's just like
really cool to see like from a gaming standpoint how they are going to use all of this user generated
content and i think you know we're participants in it but i think most of all it's dope that
we're finding ways for users to become part of the actual gaming ecosystem you know as
opposed to just getting paid uh or the ability to monetize through streaming and sponsorships
you know that's that's kind of what the whole thing was you know with
just the gaming industry coming up over the last decade
and and that was the main way people were to monetize and going toward what squiddy was
talking about it's like you know i'm not like a a big streamer at all right so usually what you
have to have millions of people or thousands of people following you or streaming your shit in
order to get paid it's the same thing in music right like in music if you want to get paid any
substantial amount to like sustain and make music full-time you got to aim for the millions
but with what when you are part of the economy where you can actually have like in faraway shop
up to 90% as a creator of the revenue cut and the platform gets you know a cut as well
then you don't need to aim for the the millions you know you can actually create great content
focus on it and just tap in with a hundred or a thousand people within the community
where they see value in what you create and i think that's so exciting
yeah man for sure i can't you know it's it's definitely going to be interesting to see how
uh how this disrupts kind of like the current models um in terms of like gaming the gaming economy
and everything else so um it's gonna be dope man it's gonna be dope it's definitely um you know
i'm super super happy to see the 3d artists in the space are going to be busy as you know i mean
like um you know reader bailey i'm sure their dms have been blowing up um i need to i need to hit
bailey up um he needs to do some cool stuff with um some of the ip that i own because you know his
work's just phenomenal um but yeah man it's gonna be dope to see kind of like um these jpegs coming
to life um and um running around in these games um i'm just on the faraway website and i've just
seen that they've put um other side legends of the mara coming soon on there i don't know if that
was on there before on their list of games but uh hell yeah man so uh so they've put that on their
kind of list of games coming soon i think that's an update i think i would have i would
have noticed that if that was on there before so that's going to be sick um obviously they've
it's going to be the legends of the mara expansion um we don't have any details on how that's going
to look but it's going to be nuts if we can take our ugc characters into that game um that'd be
pretty sick um so yeah man so much so much stuff to get excited for you know far away they're
they're doing some cool stuff if you go to faraway.com which i think you're just referencing right
yeah it's mini royale nations uh they just you know soft launched the faraway creator studio but
now we're starting to really get into it we're starting to see creators that we know in the
web three space like put stuff up there um but if you look at their developer platform um they have
like a section right under their website where it has like the scrolling carousel of images
you just look at some of the things they've been building and the contracts that they've deployed
over the last year um you know from a token launcher um to something that's in development
which is shared clan treasury which allows for in-game clans to have a shared wallet
and a collection of resources that can move between members those are things that like
we would definitely benefit from if we're moving as guilds you know and it's like these are some
of the things and why i could see faraway would be a great strategic partner in all of this
so you know it makes me really happy to see the faraway team be so gracious to
jump into the spaces you know i saw grace in her earlier um there's so many people where you're
able to talk to alex the founder who jumped on with spencer last week you know on on this
on nft so you know it's just like they're they're building the foundation for some things that are
that could potentially disrupt the the gaming industry you know or at least go into a brand new
kind of direction that's being pioneered at the moment and we get to be a part of this so yeah
nash i'm excited dude and i'm excited that they're a part of legends of the mara and um
and the other side uh so to speak yeah man yeah i can't wait to see what um
what they've been cooking up with legends of the mara i think um
that expansion is going to look sick um seeing a little sneak peek of a spaceship in one of the

what's dope is that they're you know each one of these items are nfts like if i go in my
salon a wallet right now i can actually see all the avatars that i purchased you know which means
i can share them i can sell them um and if i'm a creator and you know have a world i could token
gate i can airdrop to these wallets that are holding these tokens there's so many different
possibilities you know and i think that would be cool like you know if if the nft show has
you know stickers um and whoever has like a nash avatar you know gets one and then the stickers
have some sort of utility like there's so many different things you can do with the fact that
they're nfts so i think that's one thing that's really cool is that these these things don't just
stay in the game they're in your wallet and then when you go to these different games
you know it shows up in different ways like you know i can't wait to be able to play in dukie
dash unclog with this but you know it's it's cool to see everything composited into these
different games but it's showcasing the value of ownership you know by the way nash are you able
to play as your ape in dukie dash unclog i know you have like the beta and the early
access because you're on the gaming council um so so they um the first phase of the alpha testing
closed um a week ago um and they're kind of uh just making some some changes so it's gone into
maintenance um so we're just waiting for them to to give us the the kind of updated version to alpha
test but this updated version is going to incorporate uh ugc content so we'll be able to
to run around with our apes um we'll be able to play dukie dash with our apes that are on the
faraway store um so yeah man um that's basically what um that's basically what prompted me to
get my ape on there um just to be able to to kind of test out the alpha test function um and then
everything else kind of like you know everything else kind of happens so um yeah man it's it's
gonna be fun man i've got i've got a bunch of apes now in my wallet that i'm gonna be able to

uh millie with grateful um with spanned i've got so many more apes to pick up as well so
i'll definitely be um doing some screen recordings with everyone's apes um and sharing those
but in the meantime um we've got many many royale nations um and you can play as your ugc
characters in that and um speaking to spanned um you can actually create um lobbies with um
other players so you can like um team up with people so uh maybe we need to set up um some
games and run around in that and and just go kind of like tdm in mini royale nations with our apes
um and anyone can jump on that um so we'll have to hook that up it's been fun watching spanned
make clips uh rocking different people's avatars and i was uh i was kind of anticipating that you
know like you know if i switch avatars and you never know what's going to be your best
run in dukie dash unclogged you know what i mean so it'll be interesting to see like what shows
up on the leaderboard which avatar was it by the way does it show that like does it only
does it apply to the avatar that you used uh in that when you look at the leaderboard
so at the moment um for the leaderboard you can personalize your icon so um so obviously with um
dukie dash one it was your pfp because it was just reading your token but obviously because
this game is going to be open to it's free to play it's not token gated so the leaderboard
you know there'll be people playing that will be on the leaderboard that don't own any nft's so
at the moment we're just playing with like the default um like pfp's or the default um icons
that we've set as our pfp's um i'm sure eventually we'll be able to to use our apes and by the
moment they haven't got that function up yet i don't think i don't think it's going to make
a difference what avatar you use for the run i think that's just purely the cosmetics when you're
playing um okay cool but yeah even on replays you know what i mean as people are streaming it
and things like that it's just fun man it's cool to see the personalization of these games you
know what you can do uh and that's nothing new right personalization but we're actually
taking ip from the community and the people that are playing it that's kind of what's what's cool
about it without too many you know uh gatekeepers or barriers to to kind of bust through in order to
get your stuff to show up in the game this kind of democratizes it as long as it meets the guidelines
and allows anyone to do it yeah 100 man and i think it just um i think it it because it's ip from
um the community i feel like it has just uh another level of kind of like um
kind of connection with uh with kind of playing with all the skins that we're playing with
um which is pretty fun but yeah man um it's interesting i can't wait to see who else
ends up on the um on the store i'm pretty sure we're gonna start seeing all sorts of different
projects jumping up on the store as well um baron shared that he's gonna start sticking all the
other 3d files that he's got um up on his um baron baron's boutique so i can't wait to see what
else he's got up there and um yeah man um it's gonna be fun cool i think that's gonna slowly

So there's no more details than that, but it sounds like next week maybe aligned with
I think the big thing I took away from this post was double check your delegations because
warm wallets will be able to claim and mint all your shattered and leaderboard loot
on behalf of the delegated wallet.
So they're not making you connect your cold wallet to be able to claim all that loot.
They're going to allow the warm wallets to be able to do that.
So if you have it delegated out to some other wallets and you're not really sure, just
double check warm.xyz and just make sure all that's squared away so you don't get
And I think, you know, I'm curious now because obviously I've been messing around on the
firewall website and I'm seeing that they've got Legends of the Mara coming soon on their

Certainly swung the pendulum.
I just thought it was worth noting.
I think one thing that I think one thing that it's kind of be the last few weeks is
kind of taught me is that you guys cooking, man, I think, you know, we we get a lot
of you know, we get periods of what feels like radio silence and we assume that there's
nothing happening, but there's a lot that's going on in the in the background.
They're obviously listening to all the feedback.
You know, I think one of the criticisms was that you guys kind of lost touch with the
community and what the community want, but it feels like they've got a pretty good finger
on the pulse from all the stuff that they're starting to ship out.
They've obviously been tight lipped about it whilst they've been working on it.
But it's starting to shape up to be a great year, you know, all the things that they've
been working on and cooking up over the last six months.
We're going to start kind of getting, you know, drip fed and yeah, man, I'm excited for it.
