Just bear with us a couple of minutes, guys, before we get started.
I was a bit late starting off, so sorry for the delay.
All right, who have we got behind the HiHoo PFP?
It's Casey. How are you doing today?
It is Casey. I saw your PFP up there and I was like, I wonder if he's just joined with both of them and he's actually behind the HiHoo.
Yeah, I'm good, mate. You?
Yeah, I'm good. Enjoying the nice weather for once. It's been a busy few days, but it makes it easier when it's still nice and sunny out at nine o'clock at night.
Yeah, it is. I actually, I'm just going to sit in the garden now for 10 minutes. I won't want to come back in to sit at my PC.
My office is outside, if that's the right term. I sit outside with the laptop pretty much all day until it runs out of charge. Then I leave it plugged in for a little bit and then I come back to it outside. So when the weather's like this, I really love it.
Yeah, that's the way to do it, mate. So, yeah, unfortunately, I have got a laptop, but it's not good enough for half the stuff that I do. So I have to get on the PC, I'm afraid.
Or make the most of it whilst you're on the space.
Yeah, yeah. I do look forward to the summer and doing this space outside in the garden, I must admit. So we've almost been running for almost 12 months now. So I enjoyed last summer sitting in the garden, running the space. It's quite nice.
Yeah, definitely not the place to be in the winter. I think you'll end up freezing before the space ends. People will hear you kind of shivering.
Well, this winter I probably would have got wet as well quite often.
Oh, it's been, yeah, it's been horrible.
Yeah, it's been the worst one for a long time. So, yeah, it's not been a good one.
But anyway, we're actually into the summer now and it's been lovely the last couple of weeks, as you know.
Yeah, I'm actually off to Spain tomorrow. So the weather looks very nice there as well. So looking forward to that.
But I think for those of you that are listening in and the weather isn't as nice, they're probably sick of us talking about how nice it is for us.
So apologies for that. But thank you guys all for joining this evening.
Looking forward to sharing a little bit about what we've got going on and then rolling into your first tournament in about 50 minutes from now.
Yep, I'm looking forward to hearing you going through it all again, mate.
So, yeah, can't wait to get our first one under the way.
So I see we have Team Mum's jumped up to say hello.
I'm here. Sorry, my husband was talking to me.
I wanted to stop in and say hi. It's been a long time.
Yeah, you said this week you were going to jump in and say hi.
Yeah, we've got an art music fest going on this weekend, so we're headed out to the porch.
We're going to set up a little maybe bonfire if it's not going to rain later and listen to some music.
Lovely, lovely. So you'll be looking forward to that then.
Yep, and I want to wish you all, all you fathers out there, a happy Father's Day.
Yep, won't be long now. I'm seeing my Father's Day a couple of days.
So, yes, looking forward to that. See what surprises I get off my boys.
Are you doing anything special?
I've no idea. I haven't got a clue.
They're going to surprise you?
All right, well, I do. I wanted to jump in and say hi.
Maybe next Friday I'll stay a little longer.
Yeah, that's fine, Bob. No problem.
We've got a busy one tonight with the poker kicking off.
So, yeah, it'll be nice to have you next Friday and have a good chat.
Yeah, I have to get in on those poker games.
Yeah, you'll have to get in on it.
All right, well, you guys have a nice, a great weekend and enjoy your Father's Day.
And I'll speak to you next Friday.
Yep, we'll catch you next week. Thanks for dropping in.
You're welcome. Have a good one. Bye-bye.
All right, mate, over to you.
I don't know if you want to kick off. We've not got many people in here yet.
I'm hoping that a few's going to join.
No doubt you'll get halfway through it and we'll get a few more people jumping.
Well, that's absolutely fine.
I will get started. I'll give you guys kind of an overview of the plan, at least in my head anyway.
We've got the tournament starting in about 50 minutes from now.
So for the first 10 minutes or the next 10 minutes or so, I'm going to give you guys a bit of an overview of the project and more specifically the platform.
If anyone's got any questions, feel free to come up and ask.
I'll then explain exactly how you guys all join the tournament and get ready to get started tonight.
There'll be more than enough time for me to help anyone that's got any issues.
At that point, I can jump into a Discord and screen share my screen so you can watch along with what I'm doing if that's going to help any of you.
And once we've got all of that sorted, if we've still got a little bit of time before the tournament starts, I will share some more details on some updates we're working on,
some events that we've got planned that we're going to invite you to participate in and a few other exciting bits and pieces that we're working on at the moment that you guys will all be able to experience on the site.
But I will start with, like I said, giving an overview of the platform or the whole project.
And to kick that off, the HiHu network is a two-sided project.
So we have our own NFT collection and we're also building a public-facing business.
That business is a network.
The network will grow every year.
We're going to add a new site into that network.
Every single site that we launch is completely open to the public.
They all run on our off-chain HiHu token.
And on every single site, anyone with a smart wallet has got the opportunity to win NFTs for less than the cost of gas.
So the first site in our network launched back in October of last year.
It's called HiHu Raffles.
On HiHu Raffles, anyone can connect their smart wallet, purchase HiHu tokens for 0.007 Ethereum each.
They're essentially just entry tickets and use those to enter into our public raffles.
We've run a little bit over 80 Ethereum of raffles since we launched in October.
We've had more than 90 different NFT collections in the prize pool.
And we have had more than 3,500 people connect their wallet to that site.
So that's the first site in the network.
We're going to be completely updating the UI to match that of the poker site.
And it will be doing a launch 2.0 at some time in the next couple of months.
But now to get to the poker, which is why we're really here this evening,
HiHu Poker is the second site in our network.
It's a poker platform with two major differences from existing sites out there.
The first of those is that in our public competitions,
you'll be competing for NFT prize pools rather than cash.
And the second is that on our tables, you'll be able to play as any NFT avatar in your wallet.
So I'm pinning a tweet now, which is going to show the tables.
If you play in any games hosted by us,
this is not the table that you guys are going to be playing on this evening.
And I am going to get to that very shortly.
So I'm also going to put up another tweet,
which explains a little bit about how the site works.
You can go on the site right now and click through as I'm talking to see this for yourself.
Some of the UI needs to be tweaked.
It will look exactly like the photos in this pinned tweet.
Right now, it looks pretty much like that.
I think there's a few kind of little small parts missing.
But if you follow this pinned tweet, as I'm talking, it's a thread.
The first one you can see is the homepage.
So that is what you will arrive on when you go on to Haiku Poker.
In the top right hand corner, there's a little purple wallet connect button.
You use that to connect your wallet.
And I'm going to go into security and that side of things in a little bit more detail in a second.
Once you've connected your wallet, at the top, you can see the profile tab.
On the left hand side of the screen, you'll see any NFTs in the wallet you've connected with.
You can select one of those and it will appear at the top in the middle.
That is the NFT, your players on the table.
You can come back to the profile tab and change that at any point.
And on the right hand side of that page, there is a box that says username.
That will be populated the first time you connect with your wallet address.
If you can delete that and enter whatever you want your username to be on the site,
it can't contain any offensive words and it also cannot contain any spaces.
And it will glow green if you've done that correctly.
So that is kind of coming onto the site and setting up your profile.
We don't need any more details from you.
There's boxes right now to connect your Twitter and Discord.
Those aren't working, so don't worry about doing that right now.
That's one of the final tweaks we've got to make.
And from that profile page, if you ever want to enter into our public tournaments,
you will be able to, or you can right now, purchase Haiku tokens.
So that's where you do that.
To get back to the home screen from any of the pages,
you'll see the Haiku poker logo in the top left-hand corner.
And now to explain a little bit more about the site.
Now you've kind of, that explains how you come onto it and connect to your wallet.
On that home page, you'll see that there's four different lobbies.
We're going to be adding a few more lobbies.
And if we have time, I'll explain a little bit about what those are going to be
But right now, there are four lobbies.
Each of these has its own tweet in the thread explaining a little bit more about it.
And you can follow it down with me as I'm talking.
But the first two lobbies, which are the two you can see on the left,
are both completely open to the public.
So anyone can come onto the site, connect their wallet, like I just explained how to,
and purchase Haiku tokens and use those to enter into our tournaments or sit and goes.
And in those, have the chance to win NFTs in the prize pools.
So like I said, both of those lobbies are completely open to the public.
You just need to buy Haiku tokens and use those to enter.
The third lobby is for holders of our NFT collection only.
The tournaments there are completely free to enter.
And the prize pools are funded by 50% of the profits from the first two lobbies that I just mentioned.
And the final lobby is a partner project lobby.
So that is where you will find tonight's game.
So NFT RT, as well as 75 plus other NFT projects and communities,
are now using the site to host poker games for their own communities.
Your game this evening is password protected.
So if you click into the partner project lobby,
you'll see there are a few games up there right now from different projects we're partnered with.
But if you go into the NFT RT one, there is a password to join.
That password is NFT RT, all in capitals, and it is case sensitive.
So you need to get that right to be able to join.
Once you do that, the page will reload and the register now button will change to a join table button.
If you click on that, you will see the background of the NFT RT poker room,
which is different to our background.
You will see a countdown, which will have a little bit over 40 minutes on it right now.
And when that countdown ends, the table will automatically load in.
The cards will start being dealt and you'll be playing as whatever PFP you selected in the profile section.
So that is kind of a combination of a little overview of the site and how things are going to work this evening.
Hopefully some of you guys have already registered.
If you haven't registered yet, it's only available on desktop for this evening.
Mobile is fully designed and that's going to be implemented in the next seven to ten days or so.
So apologies if you were hoping to play on mobile.
You're going to need a laptop or computer for this evening.
And also, if you can avoid playing on Firefox, you can play on any other browser.
But we're having some issues with the play buttons on Firefox right now.
So if you can join from a different browser and if you need any help kind of doing that, I can explain.
So just ask questions or I'll be able to help.
You need to do that before the tournament starts.
So because if you haven't registered when it starts, you won't be able to join.
And there is a really great prize pool this evening.
So there's six NFTs in it.
I'm not sure I'm going to actually be able to remember them all off the top of my head.
But you can check them out.
They're all advertised on the site.
So in the Partner Project Lobby, when you're looking at the tournament, you can scroll across on the right-hand side and see all of the prizes in the prize pool.
So those are all up for grabs for people competing this evening.
That is kind of a little bit about onboarding and joining instructions.
The one thing actually before I kind of open up to questions or to begin talking about what else is going on on the site, I want to mention is the security side of things.
So when you connect to your wallet, that is – firstly, before I get to that, the wallet connection works in the exact same way as it does on the raffle site, where we've already had more than 3,500 wallets connect.
It's a read-only signature.
And it is completely safe to interact with if you want to.
And I think you should want to, as a kind way of saying my opinion on this.
You can delegate your wallet via warm.xyz and connect with the delegated wallet.
So if you don't know about warm.xyz, I'm going to pin a tweet.
It may be worth jumping out of the space for three minutes or whilst we're in the space, just loading up this video and watching it.
It's an explanation much better than the one I'm about to give on why you should use warm and how to use it.
But for those of you that don't know, warm.xyz is a wallet delegation service.
It is used by Ugalabs as well as a number of other blue chip projects whenever they require their holders to connect a wallet to any site.
And what it allows you to do is link two wallets together.
So you connect your wallet with your NFTs in to warm.xyz.
Like I said, Ugalabs encourage their holders with some of the most valuable NFTs in the space to use the site.
It's completely safe to interact with.
Once you've connected that wallet, it allows you to link a hot wallet.
You have to pay a small gas fee to do so.
And all of the NFTs stay in the original cold wallet.
But you can now use the hot wallet to connect to our site and any other site that's also integrated with warm.xyz.
When you do that, you'll be able to play as any of the NFTs in the first wallet on the site.
But none of them will actually be stored in the wallet that you're connecting with.
So even if our site was hacked or you accidentally connected to a site imitating ours or any other site that had malicious intent,
none of your NFTs would be vulnerable because they're not actually in the wallet that you're connecting with.
So that's how I mean, I obviously have complete confidence and faith in the site.
But my wallet is all set up on warm.xyz anyway.
So I connect to the site with a hot wallet.
I play as all my NFTs in my other wallet.
But none of them are actually in the one I've connected with.
There's a much better explanation in the video in the pinned tweet.
But if you want to do that, it doesn't take long to set up.
It's a small gas fee and you've got more than enough time to do that before the tournament starts this evening.
But also, like I said, it's completely safe to interact with the site.
So feel free just to get straight on there and join in.
I do have a bunch more stuff I can share on the site.
But I want to check if anyone's got any questions, if anyone's had any issues joining or if there's anything you wanted me to mention or you want to mention.
No, I think you've just about covered everything.
If anybody has got any questions, please request to come up.
As I just mentioned about the safety side of it, obviously, I'm very security conscious and people are concerned about connecting the wallets to various sites with everything that goes on in the space.
What I would say to anybody that's got any doubts or anything, you could always put an NFT into a burner wallet and connect that way so that you're only exposing yourself with one NFT.
Obviously, that's another way that you could go about it, guys.
Obviously, do your own research on everything that Casey said.
Have a look at the information that he's put up at the top.
But yeah, if anybody's got any questions, guys, please don't hesitate.
Jump up on stage with us and ask away.
Yeah, please don't be shy.
I can see that seven people have registered now.
You've got a pretty good chance of winning a prize if you do jump in because there's six NFTs in the prize pool right now.
So if you haven't registered and you're going to be around, it's going to be well worth your time.
Yeah, there's very good odds on you winning something tonight.
So if I could ask you all to do one thing and go down the bottom and retweet the space for us, let people know that the space is going on and let's see if we can get some more people into the space before the tournament starts.
Yeah, and I would just second that with saying, please invite people to join in the tournament where it's great to get kind of different communities together.
I've got an hour after the tournament starts before our next space.
I'm going to be playing as well.
So I will either be in the NFT RT Discord VC or our own Discord VC.
So if you're having any issues or you've got any questions, that's the best place that you will be able to find us.
But whilst we're kind of waiting to get going, anyone feel free to interrupt me with any questions you've got.
But I will go into some detail on some more stuff that we've got planned happening on the site.
Some things you guys will be able to participate in.
And I will come back and remind everyone that hasn't already joined tonight's tournament in a little bit and go back through those joining details just in case anyone new has popped in.
But to tell you about some things coming up.
So you've obviously got all the games you can participate in hosted by communities that you're part of.
Tonight's game is Password Protected and the password is NFT RT, all in capitals.
Other games on the site may be token gated to your collections and you will need to own an NFT from that collection to join.
And some you'll be able to join just by clicking on the link.
So like I was saying, you'll be able to join kind of all the ones hosted by your own team.
But there will also be a bunch of other tournaments going on on the site that you'll be able to just browse the site and jump into also completely for free and have the chance to win some really great things in prize pools hosted by other partners.
So there is another tournament going on this evening.
A couple of hours after this one starts, it is completely free to join.
There's no password or anything like that.
And there are a couple of NFTs in that prize pool as well.
So there's going to be more and more tournaments available for people to join as we get more and more partners on boarded.
We've hosted six or seven partner tournaments so far.
We've now confident we've ironed out all of the bugs.
There's a few features and tweaks still to be made.
Some are being literally done as we speak right now.
And hopefully a couple of them will be pushed in time for the tournament.
But right now the site does everything you would expect it to do.
So like I said, a bunch more free events for you guys that we'll have going on.
We're going to begin running our public paid tournaments that you can enter from some point next week.
If you are not an experienced poker player, I wouldn't recommend jumping straight into those.
There'll be a bunch of free stuff going on the site where you can practice your skills and there will still be great things for you to win in the prize pools.
But if you are a more accomplished or confident poker player, the public paid tournaments is going to be a fun place for you to try out.
We ran one paid tournament a little bit prematurely when we launched the site.
And before we ran into a few issues, that was a lot of fun.
There was a very different feel and atmosphere to the game than the free tournaments.
I think you may get that tonight with such a stacked prize pool.
But it is a very different game than joining a free tournament.
So like I said, if you fancy your chances as a good poker player, there's going to be more and more paid public tournaments that start popping up for you to join as well.
Beyond all of those standalone tournaments, either hosted by us or partners, we're going to be running some events as well.
Those events will take place in two structures.
One of them will be a knockout structure and one of them will be a league format.
So at some point, probably in or almost certainly in July, we'll be kicking off the first one of these.
It will be for partner projects.
You will be invited to participate.
It will be a knockout format.
So depending on how many partners sign up, it will either be 32 or 64 different projects all competing.
You will come up head to head against different partners each week or however, whatever intervals we decide to run the tournaments.
There'll be a scoring system that will take into account how many people join from your community.
And it will take into account how your community does in that tournament.
One of the two projects will progress and that will continue until we just have one partner left.
There'll be prizes along the way in each tournament for individuals and for the community.
And there'll be grand prizes at the end of that as well.
So that is coming first in terms of an event where we're going to be putting our partners up against each other head to head.
Once that has concluded, in the background, we'll be doing some dev work so that we can set up leagues on the site.
And we will be running a HiHU partner league, again, inviting all of our partners.
Some of those games, you'll come up head to head against other projects.
Some, there'll be multiple or all of our partners invited to participate.
There's no limit to how many people that can join.
So, again, there'll be a scoring system.
The league will be, will create a season.
And at the end of the season, one of our partners will be crowned champion again.
And, again, a whole different prize pool that will be available for that tournament.
So all of those or both of those things coming that we're doing to try and bring the whole Web3 community together.
We want to make the site a gathering place of people in Web3.
We're looking to build an experience rather than just a poker site.
And I think it's events like that that will really help us do it.
So those are the first two events to talk about.
I'm going to leak a little bit of top secret information about something that we're going to be sharing more detail on in the next few days.
So hear me out as I'm explaining this, because it is not what you first think.
But we are going to be introducing a new NFT collection.
That collection is going to be generated by AI.
The artwork is going to be inspired by our original collection.
There's going to be 250 pieces.
And you cannot buy this collection.
This collection is purely for the winners of select tournaments.
So it will go in the prize pools of some of our public tournaments.
They will also be available for our partner projects to co-design and go in the prize pools of some of the tournaments that you host.
And they will also go in our own holder tournaments.
So beyond the artwork being incredible, which there's no point in me talking about, because until you see it, anything I say won't do it justice.
But it is it does really look incredible.
There is some utility attached to this collection.
So anyone that wins one of these NFTs will firstly appear in the Hall of Fame section on our site.
So if you've been on the site, you'll notice one of the tabs at the top is Hall of Fame.
There's nothing there right now.
But this collection is called the HiHu Poker Hall of Fame.
And winners of these NFTs will populate in there with the NFT they won and where they won it.
They will also have the option to update the metadata of that NFT to include their poker username in the image and as a trait.
Those are both kind of vanity things and bragging rights.
As a more practical utility, the holder of any of these HiHu Hall of Fame NFTs will get a seven and a half percent discount on HiHu tokens that they purchase on the site to enter into any public tournaments.
And they will also have the opportunity to enter a champions tournament that will be token gated to this collection.
It will take place on the last Friday of every month.
At first, we're just committing to putting HiHu tokens in that prize pool, but it will be a free opportunity to win some of those.
And as the site scales up and grows, we plan to start putting NFTs in the prize pool as soon as that becomes kind of sustainable and feasible.
So that is a little bit of sneaky alpha on that.
I'll give you guys, if you're listening from the teams of any of our partners, a heads up that you have got the opportunity to co-design these.
It will be on a first come, first serve basis.
So we'll be putting this announcement out.
We'll be tagging all our partners.
But if you want to be involved, get in touch.
It will be an additional prize that will go into a prize pool of a tournament that you're hosting.
So more details to come on all of that.
And I think when you guys see the artwork, you'll be as excited as I am about it.
And just another little thing that we're doing to help kind of create an excitement, engagement and kind of give the people that play on the site an opportunity to show off and brag about what they've won.
So that is a little bit on that.
And guys, I'm going to continue on a monologue unless anyone interrupts me.
So apologies if you're sick of hearing my voice.
But all you need to do is request to come up and ask a question or you can even sing a song and that will keep me quiet for a little bit.
But if you don't, I'm going to keep talking.
You carry on pitching for HiHoo and explaining everything to everybody.
I definitely want to be involved with the NFTs that you're talking about.
So I'll give you a shout about that.
But I don't think anybody wants to join us on stage tonight.
Luckily, there's a bunch of things that I can tell you about.
So we won't be sitting here in awkward silence until the tournament starts.
But really, please feel free to get involved, ask me any questions or to clarify anything if you guys have anything coming up.
I was just going to say we've got 24 minutes until tonight's tournament starts.
So if you haven't registered already for that, there are joining instructions in our Discord.
I presume there are joining instructions as well in your Discord.
There's links in ours to yours.
So, yeah, if anybody's got any questions about joining, then, you know, feel free to jump up and ask.
I think part of the problem, Casey, is the fact that you've not got the mobile side set up as of yet,
which is probably costing us quite a few entries tonight, to be honest.
Yeah, apologies for that.
That is coming really soon.
We've had to spend a little bit more time than we expected tweaking the desktop version.
But it is something we know people kind of regularly play from mobiles and it is being worked on.
So hopefully by the time of your next tournament, depending on when it is, we will have all of that set up.
We're probably looking at seven to ten days.
Yeah, we were going to do one on Sunday, so you won't have it ready for now.
So if anyone has a desktop available, it's you just need to install MetaMask.
You can play from a wallet with no NFTs in.
Hey, what's up, everybody?
I'm going to invite you to speak.
But you can play from a wallet with no NFTs in.
You'll be able to select from some of ours to players on the table.
And if you want to appear as a red mutant ape, you can do that by just not selecting any NFTs as your profile picture.
So if there are a few people appearing as red mutant apes, that is why that is going to be changed.
They will appear as NFTs from our collection.
But if you see a bunch of those on the tables tonight, it's because people haven't selected their profiles or their PFP they want to play as.
Just as a quick reminder before I start going into a few more details, if you are playing in the tournament tonight, once you come on to the site and you've connected your wallet, go to the profile tab at the top.
Choose an NFT from your wallet that you want to play as on the tables.
And on the right hand side, there's a username box that's populated with your wallet address the first time you connect.
You should change that to whatever you want to be known as on the site.
And that will glow green if it's worked correctly.
You can't put any spaces or offensive words in there.
So just a reminder, otherwise you'll show up on the tables as your wallet address.
And I mean, we will kind of know who you are, but it'd be better if we could see your names.
So whilst we watch the clock tick down and wait for the tournament to start, I'll go into the detail of a few more things.
Firstly, beyond mobile, the first major update that's coming is that we're going to be adding audio chat to all the tables.
So you'll see tonight if you're participating that in the bottom left hand corner, there's a little chat box in there.
All the game actions are described by the dealer in yellow font.
The winning hand is described by the dealer in the green font.
And you can chat in there and it comes up in a white font.
We will be adding audio chat, like I said, to the tables.
You'll be able to chat with anyone on your table and you'll also be able to chat with anyone in the tournament,
depending in which voice chat that you go into.
But all of that is coming as one of the first major updates.
We're also going to be adding a few different styles of poker.
So right now you can just play Texas Hold'em.
But for the more experienced poker players among you, you may want to spice things up with a few different varieties.
So we're going to be adding Pot Limit Omaha, Five Card Stud, anything else that is regularly requested by the community.
And when we do that, we're also going to be introducing a few of our own made up game modes that are going to have some sort of twist on traditional poker.
So an example of one of those is a game mode where the only actions you'll be able to take is go all in or fold.
There are going to be a few more games you can set up with kind of twists like that.
Probably something you won't make use of every time you come onto the site.
But if you're using it regularly, I think it's a good way to spice things up and give people another way to play.
So all of that is coming as well.
One big update that we're working on, which I think is one of the most exciting ones, is an achievements slash a progress page.
So there will be two variations of this, one for each of our partner projects.
They will work in pretty much the same way in that there will be a list of tasks for you to complete or achievements.
Some of those you will be able to complete in one tournament.
Some you'll need to come back onto the site multiple times to work towards.
Examples of some of the ones in the individual side of things would be join 10 tournaments, win a tournament, win seven hands with pocket sevens, a whole variety of different things.
And each of those will have a reward associated with it.
So some of those rewards will be Haiku tokens and some of those will allow for greater customizability of your own profile on the site.
And those customizability benefits that you'll unlock will be very much visible on the tables.
You'll be able to show off and brag about things you've done and completed on the site.
And everyone else will be able to see that.
For the partners, there will be a separate list of achievements that as a community you can work towards as you complete each one of those.
Again, there's a reward associated.
Some will be Haiku tokens, which you can then put in the prize pools of tournaments you guys are hosting.
And some of them will allow for greater customizability of your own project profile on the site.
So the only two things that you guys have not designed in the poker room so far are the front of the playing cards and the dealer chip.
You will be able to design those and then update them as frequently as you want once you've unlocked the relevant achievements.
But until then, you'll be playing with the standard Haiku versions.
So things like that we have put in place or we're going to put in place to make people excited to kind of come back to the site to work towards something.
I think people like progressing.
And the way that we play poker at the moment is generally you turn up for one tournament.
You finish however you finish.
You either win a prize or you don't.
And we want to create kind of a more ongoing experience than just that.
So that is a big focus of what's coming with the achievements page.
I'm trying to think what other little bits I can tell you about.
I'll just jump in and interrupt you for a minute, Casey.
Mark, good evening, mate.
This man can't stop talking.
I'm very happy as a holder to hear all the alpha that he's dropping over here.
And I've got two questions.
One, is there an app coming up so you can play mobile?
Sorry, I don't want to interrupt.
But just in case this question is for me, Mark, I can't hear you.
So I don't know if Mark can hear me.
But I'm going to quickly leave and rejoin the space because that normally fixes it.
But if that doesn't work, Mark, if you can do the same, I think it will be one of us.
And I'll be back in one sec.
I don't know why Twitter's funny sometimes with spaces.
That's Twitter for you, mate.
Twitter spaces are a nightmare.
So, anyway, Mark's back as well now.
So hopefully you can have a conversation.
Mark and I'm sorry if I interrupted you.
I just didn't want you to get too far into what you were saying in case I need to answer it.
But first, I would like to ask the two questions, is there going to be a mobile app, so people can be invited and we can get an affiliate link or something like that, that would be very beneficial to the holders of the hero network, I think.
And can you tell us something about the artist who's made the second collection?
So, we have no plans for a mobile app right now.
It will be browser-based, so you just go on the website.
In terms of getting a referral link, that is something that we could still build into a browser-based site.
It's not something on the agenda for right now, but it's definitely something that will probably come as we build up the site.
And the artist for the Hall of Fame collection is someone who I think you probably know quite well.
It is Mr. Greenity, who's in the audience.
He has become an AI expert, and when you see the images he's been working on, I think you're going to be blown away.
They look absolutely incredible.
I think you're lucky to be part of Kong Club, because I think he's working on, or I don't want to give away any alpha, but you may see some Kongs.
That he's been working on at some point soon.
But, sorry there if I put my foot in it.
I was already halfway through saying what I was saying, and I realized I maybe should have said that.
But, yeah, no, the art is really incredible.
So, it is inspired by our initial collection.
So, to tell you a little bit about our NFT, I know you know, Mark.
But just very quickly, for those of you that don't, our collection is very much utility-focused.
Every single site in our network that we launch is open to the public.
It's revenue-generating, and it's profit-generating.
And with those profits, we fund a new set of utilities for our collection with each site.
Every time we do that, the first utility is always the same.
So, on the raffle site, 50% of the profits from our public raffles fund completely free-to-enter raffles for our holders.
And we've run a little bit over 25 Ethereum of those so far.
On the poker site, 50% of the profits from our public poker tournaments fund complete or will fund completely free-to-enter tournaments for our holders.
And so on with every single future site that we launch in the network.
So, the artwork for our – there's a number of other utilities, but I'm not going to go into them right now.
But the artwork for that was not done by Mr. Greenity.
That was done by a guy called JL Giles.
This is something that was a red flag in the space at one point.
I think people have kind of moved past it now.
But he is a Marvel artist.
He's been with them since 2015.
He's worked on all their major collections, bar two, which off the top of my head, I can't remember what they are.
And it is inspired by the image of dogs playing poker, if you can imagine that, but with 10 different animal heads.
So, we have got polar bears, Tasmanian devils, frogs, lions, bisons, and a few other animals.
And that is what has inspired this new collection.
But it's completely AI-generated.
It's very much focused around celebrating kind of victory.
There's a whole bunch of other things.
But if there are people out there in the NFT space that genuinely buy NFTs just for art,
regardless of the utility that we've attached to this collection,
I think it will be very popular.
Hopefully, that answers your questions, Mark.
Hopefully, he'll come back in a minute, Casey.
Do you want to run through everything, again, for anybody that's new in the space with us?
We're only nine minutes away from starting.
Were you talking away there, Mark?
To be honest, this is not the first time.
No, probably won't be the last either.
If you give me the chance.
You know, it's always fun on a Friday night.
Things never go to plan in this space.
No, but I love the pitch, the story, all of it.
I'm very curious about the future for that project.
So, thumbs up to the team.
So, I'm going to bed, man.
Thanks for coming up and joining us, anyway.
Yeah, as I say, Casey, we've eight minutes to go.
Do you want to just answer everything again for anybody that hasn't joined yet?
Yes, I will do that right now.
So, time is getting a little bit tight.
If you haven't registered, you've still got time.
But it may be worth doing this as I'm talking about it.
So, you can get registered if you haven't already.
I've seen that a bunch of people have jumped in as we've been talking, which is great.
But to join the tournament, you need to go on HiHuePoker.xyz.
And you can jump in our Discord.
There's links there to all of this.
And I'll actually, I'll pin a tweet that has got the link in it as well for anyone that hasn't joined.
So, you need to go to HiHuePoker.xyz.
In the top right-hand corner, there is a little purple wallet button.
You click on that to connect your wallet.
And once you have, that is permissionless.
It's a read-only signature.
We are integrated with Warm.xyz.
I'm not going to go into the details on that again, but there's a pinned tweet in the space if you want to check out more on that.
Once you've connected your wallet, if you go to the Profile tab, there you'll see all the NFTs in your wallet show up.
You can select any of those by clicking on it.
That's what you'll appear as on the table.
You can come back to the Profile section and change that at any point.
And on the right-hand side of that screen, there's a username box.
If you delete your wallet address, which will auto-populate there and replace that with whatever you want to be known as on the site, no offensive words and no spaces in it, it will glow green if you've done it correctly.
Once you've done all of that, you're ready to join the tournament.
If you click on the top left corner on the HiHue Poker logo, it will bring you back to the home screen.
Tonight's NFT RT game and all our partner games populate in the partner project lobby.
So if you click into that, which is from the home screen, you'll see the NFT RT game, which is at the top because it's the next one starting.
You click on register now.
The password is NFT RT, all in capitals.
It is case sensitive, so make sure you enter that in capitals.
And instead of saying register now, it will say join table.
If you click on join table, the background of the poker room will load in.
You will see a little countdown.
It will say just over five minutes or just under five minutes now.
And when that countdown ends, you'll be loaded onto a table and the cards will start being dealt.
Just a couple of bits for those of you that are joining.
When you're on the tables, when it's your go, the play buttons load in in the bottom right hand corner.
You can use those as you would on any other poker site.
You've got 15 seconds to make a decision on what you want to do when it's your go.
If you need a little bit of extra time to think, there's a request time button in that in your play buttons.
You can use that once every three goes and it will refill your time bar.
So you have a little bit more time to think.
Like I said earlier, the chat box is in the bottom left hand corner.
Obviously, the table is in the middle of the page.
In the top left hand corner, there's a button that says tournament lobby.
If you click on that, it will show you how many people have registered for the tournament,
how many people are still in and a leaderboard for the tournament.
The UI of that is being tweaked, but it shows you all the important things you need right there.
In the top, in the middle, you can see the current blind levels and how long until the blinds will increase.
And if you go off the tables at any point during the game, there's not a button right now to rejoin the tables.
What you need to do is change your URL to forward slash play.
Hihupoker.xyz forward slash play.
And that will bring you straight back to the table.
But yeah, Andrea, jump in.
If you've got a question, I want to make sure we can sort you out before we get started.
Andrea, sorry, did you have a question?
Andreas, if you want to unmute your mic and ask a question, Mike.
Yes, we can hear you now.
If you see join table, if you click on that, it will load you onto a screen.
And as soon as the game starts in about two minutes, you will be put on the table.
And what you explained at last with the slash play, then do I have to do that?
You only need to do that if you click on, if you go off the tables during the game.
So if you just don't load onto another page, if you don't go back to the profile page during the tournament, you won't need to do that at all.
But just in case anyone goes off or accidentally closes, to get back to the table, you just go hiupoker.xyz forward slash play.
And Mr. Greenity, who is part of the con club team or is one of the founders of the con club and also part of our team, will be around during the tournament.
I'll also be around for the first hour of the tournament before I jump on another space.
So if you need any help or you get stuck with anything, we will either be in our Discord VC or your NFT RT Discord VC, or we may stay in the space, whatever's easiest.
I think potentially being in a Discord might be easier just so we can share screens and you can see everything that way.
But we have got two minutes now.
So if you haven't registered, this is your very last chance for tonight's tournament.
Do you want to post your...
Thanks for coming up and asking.
Casey, do you want to post your Discord link up at the top?
So if anybody has got any queries, once we start, they can jump in your Discord and ask away.
Yes, if you give me one second, I will...
It's in our bio, but I will tweet it at the bottom of this space.
If you give me one minute.
Because I'll keep this space running for the duration of the tournament.
Not sure how much talking will be, guys, but I will keep the space open.
We might have a laugh or two at a couple of bad beats on the river.
We all know how poker is.
Sorry, so I'm just trying to help someone in our Discord.
I've just seen a message popping up saying they're struggling to join.
I think it's probably going to be a little bit too late for them, but good luck to everyone that is playing.
You should be loaded onto the tables right now.
Yes, the game has started.
So anybody that's missed out, sorry, guys.
Do you have a late registration function with this at all?
It's not working right now.
You need to set it up before the tournament, which I didn't do because I knew it wasn't working.
And you'll be able to set that kind of as long as you want.
Sorry, I got distracted grabbing that Discord link.
That site that we try and do is set up a late registration link, just in case anybody has any problems or they're a bit late.
That is definitely coming.
I mean, it's built into the site right now in your admin options.
People won't be able to register.
I have just commented a Discord link in the purple chat box on the spaces.
So if you are not in our Discord and you need any help and you want to just type in the chat rather than come up and talk,
that's a good place to do that.
Oh, I'm getting drawn heavy into my first hand here.
He must be on the other table to me then.
Yeah, I am playing with Mr. Greenity, Mortgage Buster, FL Andy and Alex MPC right now.
And if you click the tournament lobby, we've got 15 people registered.
Someone has already gone out, it looks like.
So I think we're going to be on three different tables right now.
That will rebalance us as people get knocked out the tournament.
If you want to see how the tournament's going, top left tournament lobby, you can see...
Houdini has got a bit of a runaway lead at the moment.
And just quickly, one thing I didn't mention when I was talking about the features before,
if you fold it out of a hand and you want to see what cards you did have,
if you hover over your profile picture, your cards will come up and you can then regret folding
like I am doing right now because I had a three and a five and there's a three and a five on the flop.
I have just noticed something and that is that when we have uploaded your cards,
the sizing has gone wrong somewhere.
So other players' cards are appearing smaller than they should do or the back of them.
You can just kind of see them sticking out of the right of the profile picture.
And when the community cards come out, you can kind of see a small version of the back of your card in the middle.
That we can sort out straight after this.
Unfortunately, we can't change it for this tournament.
But that will be done then.
And if you can remember to change the dealer image for me.
I don't want to play with my PFP and people think that I'm cheating, dealing myself cards.
Did you send us an image to change that too?
Alejo, who sorts out all the tables.
His IRL job is crazy over the weekend, every weekend.
But he should have some time before.
He will have some time before your game on Sunday to sort that.
Yeah, I can also reassure someone, you have no influence over the cards coming out.
You're purely there doing as instructed.
So, I'm just going to check if we've got any questions.
Mr. Greenity is in the poker chat in our Discord, in the VC there.
So, if anyone needs any help and wants to do it in a little bit more private setting, feel free to jump in there.
He's an expert on the site and he can guide you through any issues you're having.
It seems like everyone on our table is doing fine.
I know Mortgage Buster, Mr. Greenity and Alex have used the site before.
But this is the first time I've seen FL Andy.
Well, I hope everyone that is playing is having a smooth experience.
One thing I actually will just mention, I don't think this has been fixed.
I'm playing with the site muted right now because, oh, I riveted everyone there, because it's going to interrupt the spaces otherwise.
There's a bunch of in-game sounds.
As your timer ticks down, you will get a ticking noise.
If someone messages in the chat, a little noise will pop up.
You get a bing when it's your go.
If you win a hand, there's a noise for that and a few other noises.
There's an issue that occasionally, and I think this happens when you're switching between tabs and your timer is running out when you do so.
The countdown noise can get stuck on, which is very annoying.
So, you can either right-click on the tab at the top and just mute the site, or if you refresh the page, you won't leave the table or anything.
It will just reload, and that will have stopped happening.
Sorry, mate. I was just busy concentrating there.
Yeah, it's tough to play and talk at the same time.
I think people on my table may get lucky if I don't realise what I have at some point.
But, Mr Greenity, I'm not calling that one, I'm afraid.
So, right now, some of you, we've had feedback quite a lot that some of the picture cards are a little bit difficult to read.
There's two fixes coming for that.
One is that when everything scales correctly, the cards, at least for me, are very clear.
On some devices and on some browsers, that's not happening right now.
So, that's being resolved.
The other thing is if your table is loading incorrectly and you're still struggling to see,
overnight, before your tournament on Sunday, the UI is going to be tweaked.
So, the table is going to be about 20% bigger.
The cards will be 20% bigger.
The community cards will be 20% bigger.
The cards for the players will be quite a lot bigger because they're not showing correctly right now.
But everything will be more clear at that point.
But for anyone struggling to see, the kings are orange, the jacks are blue, and the queens are red.
And those are one of ones from our collection that are kind of the artwork behind those.
Yeah, the picture cards are a bit difficult at the moment to see on my screen.
Yeah, so, I think specifically the queens are the hardest of the three.
But we will definitely, or we are, resolving that.
That's fine, so long as you're dealing with it, mate.
Talking of which, I've just got a queen dropped on the table in the flop.
I can see what you mean there.
Just a couple of other small things that people may have noticed.
The dealer chip moves around the table clockwise like it does on every other poker site.
You can see it on the bottom right-hand corner of the profile picture,
or depending on where they are on the table, it's on the bottom corner of each player's profile picture.
Actually, it is always the bottom right.
So, when it's not your go, the play buttons disappear, and you have got two pre-action boxes.
So, if you want to fold to any bet, you can click that, and it will fold straight away when the action gets to you.
If you want to check, you can do that as well.
If someone makes a bet, it will give you the option to call the bet straight away as well.
There was one thing else I was going to say, which I've lost whilst I was thinking.
Oh, actually, I remember one of the things.
Above the play buttons, it tells you what hand you have, or your best hand.
So, Mortgage Buster is listening.
I don't think I'm going to win this hand anyway.
I've got a king high right now.
So, if you don't have anything, it will say whatever the high card is.
If you've got a pair or anything like that, or better, that will appear there,
and it will tell you exactly what you have.
The blinds are going to be going up in about four minutes.
Oh, okay, I remember what I was going to say before.
If you let your timer, and I'm not sure if anyone's playing on any tables
where someone has registered but is not actually in the tournament,
then after their timer has expired three times in a row,
and they've not made any actions,
they will be automatically folded when the play reaches them next time it does.
That will continue to happen until they click I'm back.
So, if you leave the screen and it happens to you,
an I'm back button will pop up.
You need to click that, and then once you do so,
you'll be free to play the game as you usually would.
But that way, people don't end up waiting around
when people aren't at their computers for the timer to tick down every time,
and the game can run a bit smoother.
Is there a sit-out option?
It would work in the exact same way as that,
so it's something that's going to be hopefully really quick for us to add.
You would just be able to kind of volunteer to sit out
rather than having to wait those three hands.
But it's not there right now.
The other actually biggest request we've had,
and we had four partner games yesterday,
and I had this request three times.
So, given that, it's going to go towards the top of the priority list.
That's kind of how things work.
The more people that request things,
the faster they will be implemented.
But that was the option to reveal your cards at the end of a hand.
A lot of people, at least yesterday, wanted the ability to do that.
That is something that was always going to come.
It wasn't at the top of my priority list.
I would say as much as you guys might like to show off
and tell people that you've been bluffing
or that you actually had a good hand or whatever,
good poker players never would choose to show their cards.
So, that's kind of why we've just kind of overlooked that feature for the time being.
You don't want to give people more information about the way you're playing
than you absolutely have to.
So, personally, I would never choose to reveal my cards
if that option was there.
But that will be coming because I know quite a few people do like to do that.
So, that is one of the features.
There's a lot of people that like to show what the cards were.
I like playing against those people.
I'm completely with you, mate.
I never, ever, ever, ever see on my cards.
There's an awful lot to be read out of seeing cards from somebody else.
Yeah, it's something that I never do.
But I do know a lot of people like to do it.
And I like them to have the option to do it
so I can see exactly what they're up to.
And, I mean, just whilst we're playing,
I guess we could give a few small tips as to playing online poker.
Obviously, that is something that can give you more insight
into the way people play.
But you want to try and notice as much as going on in the game.
If you can understand when people bet,
depending on what hands they have,
it will give you a kind of a better judgment call
that you can make when you have to decide to call them
or bet back against them or to fold.
So, I think it's important to kind of watch
what other people are doing whilst you're playing,
how they bet, what patterns they have.
Some people will bet the same way if they're bluffing.
Some people will always fold unless they have something.
And you can pick up on those small things
that will help you get further into tournaments.
Another just quick pointer is that
the best place you can be to play a hand
The reason for that is because the order in which people go
starts from the left of the dealer
and the person in the dealer seat
is always the last person to make a decision
once the cards start coming out.
So, you can see what everyone else thinks
of the cards that have come out before you can,
And that gives you a bit more of a decision to make.
The vice versa of that is that
the worst position to be in
is to the left of the dealer
because you're always going to go before everyone else.
So, given that, if you're in the dealer seat,
you might be more tempted
to play a slightly weaker hand.
Whereas, if you're in the seat past the dealer
or to the left of the dealer,
which is called under the gun,
you may want a stronger hand
than you would normally have
if you were in a different seat
if you were going to play that
just because you don't know
what everyone is going to do after you.
I don't know if you've got any other tips
or pointers you want to give people.
Yeah, I mean, I think the best way to learn
And as, I mean, poker is not a game of skill.
Sorry, it's not a game of luck.
There is definitely a luck element to it.
But another really big component is focus,
which is really difficult to do
when I'm talking the whole time.
But if you are paying attention
to all the small things going on on the table,
You'll just notice things
if you were talking on a space
whilst you were trying to play.
I mean, I'm not taking much notice
of what's going on at the table
But obviously, I'm hosting this space with self.
Yeah, it's a tricky balance.
Hopefully, everyone else can listen in
We've still got 14 people out of 15 left in.
The short stack is Ranger Mikey
with unfit in second right now.
And the average chip stack is 10,700.
So, another pointer whilst we're playing
is that traditionally in poker tournaments,
when you have 10 big blinds left
that's the point where you would consider
because you kind of need to double up
pretty quickly at that stage.
You've only got a certain amount of rotations
of the dealer button left
before you will just be blinded out
And you kind of want to make a stand
at a point where you've still got enough chips
that if you do double up or triple up,
it puts you kind of back in a firm position.
So, when you get to having around
that's when you should start considering
going kind of or playing more aggressively.
I think you probably don't need to go
or more experienced poker players,
unless they really felt like
they had the read on someone
the people they were playing against
had a much shorter stack.
But yeah, that's a little bit.
Alex has picked up some chips on my table.
Something else I've just noticed,
when you're betting pre-flop,
you've got the settings there
In terms of what percentage of the pot
because I'm trying to work it out.
You've got the request time button
Let's see, I've just folded a grate on there.
in terms of setting those
at different percentages?
Yeah, I was the first to act.
It wasn't letting me bet enough.
Can you actually change the figure manually?
I've not got it up on the screen.
you've got the type to enter box
and then you've got those presets.
That'll take a bit of getting used to.
It's a nice little pocket aces.
I don't know when that happened.
going to run to the bathroom
If anyone's got any questions
Mr. Greenity is in our Discord VC.
obviously if you want to request
and ask any questions here
sat here waiting for you.
Very different space tonight
We're hosting this poker tournament.
I wasn't watching your table
They are on 28,000 chips.
You've got the dealer seat
the position you finished
the tournament leaderboard.
the prize that you've won
and that's being tweaked.
when you get a tournament
algorithm that is designed
players around there um we
a bunch of players around
only 10 blinds that you've
yeah so uh i think this is
gonna yeah exactly i'm uh
get dealt face down on the
table and if you hover over
one will be incorporating
right okay i don't i don't
yeah now yeah they'll come
out face down so you won't
won't be yeah i know i i'm
when you fold on the river
sorry again see if i can watch
history uh yeah we someone
is on 200 chips so i think
blind to take them out when
um oh here we go we have reach
congratulations to tau to
unfit to fl andy to houdini and
to score pro score prox um who
are all on the final table
um there are two distinct
front runners which is houdini
and tau um i think they're
definitely favorites to take the
yeah i tried to watch your
stream again but it's actually
about a minute behind what you
um well we're down to the
final six we're on the final
um and the blinds are now going
up in seven and a half minutes
which is right when i'm going to
have to probably oh yeah i'm
going to have to jump off this
space straight into another one
um but i will play out the
remainder of the tournament
one thing that's missing right
um is i will need to get the dev
team to give us kind of the
finishing positions um that will
show up in your admin panel um
that just hasn't been added that's
one of the things that's right at
the top of the priority list
um so i will get that across to
you before i go to bed this
yeah if you could do mate that'd
be great and i'll uh i'll just
so we've got a 22 and a half k
between the two biggest stacks
and oh it'd be an interesting one
oh wow it was uh two pair fours
and sevens which were matched in
one player's hands and the other
player had king eight and on the
last on the river um the board
matched so there were a pair of
twos that were out which gave him
two pair as well but the higher two
pair um so i don't know if you guys
could follow that description um but
that was a little bit of a tough beat
um and we now have uh six thousand
chips then seven and a half thousand
then eight thousand then nine thousand
and then fifty five thousand and sixty
thousand um so i think it is a matter
of time before between the four lower
um yeah they could well be going out
this is uh all we've the two big stacks
of playing this one out um i am making
with seven and a half thousand chips
it's been called by two players
they're both bigger stacks i have got a
pretty good chance here there are three
hearts out on the flop another heart
which just came out which was the ace
of hearts means that i will win my
side pot because i've got the king of
um so the two others are playing for
um i don't think i can be beaten no
one can have i mean depending on the
last card someone could hit a straight
i'm pretty sure i didn't go out there
oh yes i did so what did he have
must be a straight flush there
yeah i think he might have had
uh oh actually no it couldn't have
uh i'm gonna look into what that was
give me one second i'm sure it was
um half concentrating and looking at
sixth um there are five players
five thousand nine thousand uh five
thousand eight thousand nine thousand
and then forty four thousand and
um it will not be long at all now
that's actually worked out a very
um so um if it's all right with you
i'm gonna jump off and quickly run
and make a coffee before i jump into
um yeah that's fine mate you go and
get yourself sorted and uh good luck
