All right, I think we're live.
Hi, everyone, good morning, good afternoon, good evening.
Thank you so much for joining us today for this Stellar Community Fund mainnet demo day.
My name is Gemma and I'm on the ecosystem growth team here at the Stellar Development Foundation.
I'm so, so excited about these projects that we have lined up to present today.
But first, in case you're new to SDF, new to SCF, I want to give you a little bit of context on how they got here.
The Stellar Community Fund is an open application awards program that's meant to boost the development of developers and startups building on the Stellar Network.
It's different from other funding programs that are run by the foundation because it relies on community input for the allocation of awards, project support, and review and governance decisions.
Since the beginning of the program, SCF has distributed over $32 million worth of XLM to over 540 projects.
This is a little recap of what we did in 2024.
We awarded $17.5 million to 279 projects across 10 rounds.
We just wrapped up our second complete round of 2025.
So here's a little stats recap from SCF 34 and 35.
31 projects were awarded out of 159 submissions received.
In SCF 34, we introduced a project abstract review, where at the very beginning of the process,
projects submit a short abstract and then a panel reviews them and decides which SCF program
would be the best fit for them.
This was a successful first experiment, and we received 144 interested project abstracts.
that got sent primarily to either the SEF Build Award or the SCF Kickstart program.
So these are exciting stats. Love to see them. Great to be distributing these grants. But
let's hear from the people behind the numbers now. I'm going to stop talking and I'm going to hand it off
to our brilliant projects that are presenting today. We've got a bit of a lightning round today.
So please, I encourage you to stick around to hear from all of these wonderful projects.
This is our lineup. Each project is going to have five minutes to present.
Please feel free to engage in the chat, ask any questions, but keep in mind that projects might
get back to you later because we are on a separate platform. And without any further ado then,
I'm going to hand it off to Ruth from the project Cash Abroad.
Hi everyone. Hi, Star Community. Just this in there.
Hi everyone from the stellar community. We are cash abroad. We are revolutionization
trade finance for global imports and exports. In 2023, global trade payments reached
$56 trillion. The US-Mexico corridor alone is worth over $600 billion, are losing up to 6% of
their revenue due to high...
hidden fees, and delaying payments.
This is because they are still using traditional payment rails
that kills efficiency, profitability,
and reduces opportunity for growth.
At Cashabroad, we want to empower international trade
to blockchain technologies.
Jorge is a lemon exporter in Mexico, and since discovering cash abroad, he manages his finances more easily than ever.
Now, when he receives a payment in his digital wallet, he can convert part of it to pesos for local expenses and allocate the rest to generate yield.
With cash abroad, he also gets notifications about favorable exchange rates.
helping him grow his money.
With instant working capital, Jorge secures the funds in minutes, not months.
The lemons arrive safely to his customer, who is delighted and ready to place another order.
Worried about exchange rates?
With Cash Abroad's crypto forward, Jorge locks in a fixed FX rate for the next 40 days,
ensuring a secure transaction.
Cash Abroad, the smart wallet for the exporters of the future.
And at Cash Abroad, we provide a smart wallet that is designed specifically for exporters and imported needs.
They can now have finally have high tickets for payments and also access to cover us,
hedging and also shorten trace finance loans.
This is a massive opportunity. Just in Mexico alone, there is over 80,000 small medium enterprises in industries around logistics,
maintenance and repairment, manufacturing, and many industries that service oil and gas, automotive and electrodomestics.
We just launched a few months ago and how already started on boarding our first
around 1 to 2% spread on each transaction.
We have also participated in the Tech Starts Payment Program along with Draper University,
and also been in this journey with Sellar since the beginning since we started out.
And the first month, we moved it around 10K in gross transactional volume.
And right now we are moving around 122K in gross transactional volume.
and in industries around oil and gas, freight forwarders,
and also other types of industries.
Right now we are from raising $1.5 million that will propel us to reach 600K in one transactional revenue
and that we will use in growth, product development, and in building the right partnerships.
Hi, everyone. I am Rudy Dalgo. I am from Mexico. I am CEO and co-founder of Cash Abroad. And I want to invite us all to build the next era of trade finance. Thank you.
Thank you, Ruth. Oh, my gosh. S. CF 11. You have been with SCF longer than I have. You're an OG.
with the but yeah yeah yeah all right well thank you so much great to hear from you
congratulations and i'll leave i'll stall for a couple more seconds so people can get your
contact info all right thank you moving right along our next project another before my time
scef project is stellar qt sdk benjamin take it away hi everyone oh
It's not working, that I...
I am Benjamin Nogal, a software engineer from the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain.
I have been passionate about programming since I was 12.
Although it started as a hobby, over the years it became my profession,
gaining 15 years of experience, working mainly with C++ with a strong focus on the QOT framework.
Today, I would like to introduce you to you the Sterarchut SDK.
I wanted to build a simple wallet to participate in the Stellar Challenge,
but while working on it, I realized there was no C or C++ full feature SDK to deal with Horizon.
So as a potential missing piece in the ecosystem,
I decided to develop two projects in parallel.
The Stellar QT SDK, a library to interact with Stellar Horizon IP,
and a VEGA wallet, a stellar wallet that utilize this SDK,
serving as both a real-world use case and a way to validate the SDK capabilities.
I always preferred the QT framework for its power and portability.
QT allows developers to create high-performance applications with minimal resource usage,
running smoothly across multiple platforms.
Unlike web-based apps that rely on embedded browser and predefined net components,
QT applications provide full control over the user experience and can access low-level device capabilities.
This is especially useful for ensuring smooth performance on older hardware and making applications more accessible in different regions.
I participated in Star-Arts Challenge in both in 2017 and 2020.
I was honored to receive awards three times in 2017,
one award for Vega Wallet and another later for the development of the SDK.
In 2020, an award for maintaining and updating the SDK.
Keeping up with the stellar rapid evolution has been a challenge, but I try to integrate important updates over the time.
The SDK also implements several stellar ecosystem proposals, including the following.
Additionally, it includes a full suite of unit tests to ensure functionality and reliability.
Vega wallet is available for free and you can download it from Google Play using the QR on the screen or searching for Stellar Bega
It was initially released for Android and it also runs on Windows, Linux and other platforms.
Thanks to QT portability, the wallet could also be adapted to iOS with minimal effort.
One of its standout features is offline transaction signing, something I found other wallets
If you're interested in the code, I will be happy to share it or work you through specific
And this video, I am showing the right phone is completely offline and is signing the transaction.
And after it is scan on the left one, and it is having internet and is publishing the
the Transrasse. Since this is a personal project and I work on it on my free time alongside my full-time job,
I know there are still some missing features in the SDK.
Now that the latest version of Horizon is considered feature complete, my goal for 2025 is to implement
the RPC protocol and update the SDK.
The stellar awards I received were an important recognition of my work and it also motivated
me to keep improving the SDK and wallet, ensuring they remain useful for developers and users
So if anyone is interested in using the SDK, I will be happy to collaborate on any project and wants to give it a try.
Feel free to contact me at BegaWallet at gmail.com or at LinkedIn.
Thank you so much. Another one, you've been around getting close to 10 years now on this.
Congrats on sticking with it and on your work.
All right. Great. We're going to move along now and we're going to hear from Reflector.
Raff, are you with us? Okay. Oh, there he is.
Oh, there you go. Perfect. Perfect.
Okay, I'm Ralph. I do business development for Reflector.
Reflector is a decentralized, sorry, let's see from the slides here.
There you go. Reflector is a decentralized price code oracle for the seller
DFI smart contracts and it supports financial derivatives, lending borrowing protocols,
algorithm of stable coins, as management contracts, and many other DFI use cases.
So why oracles are so important?
Well, price manipulation is one of the most common vectors of attack on Defy.
Almost every single week we hear about new successful exploits.
So the rule of thumb when writing defy contracts on top of oracles is choose price feeds for your projects wisely.
So the Reflector or network is controlled by a multi-sake protected consensus of reputable organizations in the ecosystem.
Some of the biggest organizations on Stellar are node operators for Reflector.
You can see it in this diagram here, which guarantees reliability, fault tolerance, and regular price-seat updates.
Reflector relies on a quorum and connected directly to the Stellar code validators.
So there's kind of two different approaches to Reflector.
We have on-chase price fees that are free for everyone.
Anybody can connect to it.
It's pushed out every five minutes.
The interface follows step 40 compatibility standards.
All the price feeds are stored in a contract itself on a fixed timeframe.
So the data is readily available for all consumer contracts.
They can use the Oracle quoted price results in the same function.
It is efficient, optimized for low fees,
and greatly reduces the number of contract costs.
Subscriptions on the other hand, and I'll show you guys kind of a bit of an overview of this in a second here,
provide more kind of like a fine green access data access,
where users can divide custom-triggerling conditions with a five-minute sampling, so a little bit faster.
This service provides access to much wider range of available price feeds,
private web-whip invocations in the combination with on-chain execution proofs,
and then that guarantees stability and security.
So the Reflector operates as a DAO if you want to have new price feeds or if you want new sources or if you want to invite a new Oracle operator.
You need to make a proposal to the DAO and this is done with XRF tokens, which represent the computational power required for NOVA operators to process these prices.
For example, we recently listed Glow Dollar, USTRY, and C-T's from Etherfuse into our price feeds, and they made a proposal.
There was a vote, and then their price fees are now available.
And now because their price feeds are available, they're able to get listed on something like Blend.
because there's a requirement to have an Oracle.
So Reflector is probably D-D-factor or Oracle on seller
and it allows assets or asset providers to be on other protocols like Glenn
or be plugged into other smart contracts on seller.
Yeah, and here is actually something really cool.
We recently just launched FX rates and commodity rates on TestNet currently.
We're just finalizing the last process.
And this is actually going to be used by different parties' ecosystem.
We have the Orbit CDP team and Hermes that are currently building with this.
Lots of cool things once we have these assets on chain.
and then finally subscriptions you can kind of see kind of an overview here this is kind of our our pro feature
again letting you get reporting of assets or changes of prices before these get published on chain and again
faster sampling, which is extremely important
for algorithm stable coins or where that five minute interval
So this allows for more fine green control
and quicker reporting to projects or protocols
And this is paid with an XRF token,
and then that kind of as the nodes,
the set on prices, they use those tokens for competition.
So with that said, our next things that are coming up here are we have, we're finalizing the FX rates and commodities for PubNet.
And then we're working on better onboarding experience, for example, docs and support.
And then finally, we are looking at offering support for other seller projects to be reported on for chains or different tokens from different chains to be reported on seller, offering better cross-chain services for the seller.
So if you guys are interested, here's a little QR code.
And yeah, pleasure being able to present us.
Thanks for hopping on while you are all over the world evangelizing for Stellar.
Next up, we're going to hear from Meru.
Thanks, Jemma, for the invitation to present.
So I'm going to share with you some updates on where we are with Meru at the moment.
Okay. So Meru was launched in 2022 and it was basically a solution that was allowing freelancers from Latin America to land their hard-earned dollars into the local country.
So most of the flow was bringing PayPal dollars into
So that was back in 22, early 23.
We have since continued to build our product
and now we are not afraid to call it a new bank
or a banking solution as we allow our users
to accept payments or deposit to save,
So we have built a pretty complete solution
that is no longer far away from what a bank does.
This is our team, so three founders, two people, two persons from Venezuela, and myself, who I am a Colombian,
working remotely for this company who is incorporated in the US, serving customers in Latin America and Europe.
And this is something that I wanted to share.
Okay, so our basic product is built around a non-custodial stellar wallet.
And so this is an example, for instance, this is a home page.
This is not an up to date version of our UX.
However, this is a wallet.
The user has $159 and he can audit his account.
So when he types the audit my account, there's an explanation of what a self-custody wallet is.
and he can go through stellar expert and look into his balance.
And so he can corroborate that he has 159 dot,
whatever the decimals are there.
But it is a truly non-custodial stellar solution,
and that is the route that we decided,
because we found that with stellar, we could do gas sponsorship.
We could do a lot of clever things with regards to
to the keys, to avoid having our users to deal with cryptography or pass phrases and so on and so forth.
So that's basically one of the biggest contributions that we are trying to do is bringing or lowering the learning curve to any user, any person in any country to start benefiting from Web3 services, non-custodial Web3 services with all the benefits that it brings without the learning curve.
This is a very quick, well, this is a screenshot of one of our dashboards.
So that's a real-time picture of where our users are located.
And so most of the countries in South America and many countries in Europe,
so Portugal, Spain, France.
And so we have managed to build a product that is being used by more than...
15 nationalities of people that are resident in more than 20 countries.
And this is a little bit of our traction.
So this is only on the Stellar Network.
And so we have issued more than 60,000 wallets,
of which more than 12,000 persons have a balance, a positive balance there.
And if you add up all that balance, it is more than $3.5 million.
And this is a very good sign that Meru has earned the trust and the recognition from its users
because it is no longer used to just deposit money and withdraw.
So the balance would be basically zero at all times.
So it's a very nice indicator that our system and our support,
and in general, our product has the credibility and the trust from our users
for them to be holding more than $3.5 million at the wallet.
We also did a very appreciated integration to the blend protocol.
And so we are allowing our users to earn yield through blend.
And so there is more than 4,000 people who have tested out the blend protocol.
And half of them, close to half of them, are holding more than $1.5 million in their blend yield generation smart contracts.
And so this is an indication of how our stellar activity has evolved.
Of course, we have other types of transactions that are not depicted here,
like the card transactions, which I was telling you,
we allow people to spend their money directly real time via the card
or through integrations into the Brazilian instant payment systems such as PICS.
So that is all. I just want to speak to Stellar. And we have been benefited by three awards from the Community Fund. We have been benefited by marketing grants. And we also have Stellar on our cap table very recently. So there is a very clear path and a very clear
support from the Stellar Development Foundation through the lifetime of our project, which I invite
people to try to pursue to. And I will be very happy to share with anyone our experience
navigating this journey. Thank you very much.
Thank you so much, Carlos. You're doing all the shilling for me. I don't even have to. This is great.
Your growth has just been monumental. It's so impressive to see those statistics.
So congratulations on what you've been doing. And I can't wait to see where this is going to take you.
And next up, we are going to hear from Shivam from ZK Cross.
Yeah, Ma, thank you. Hi, everyone. This is Shivam Tandon, founding CEO at ZK Cross Network.
So after the year of development for the very first time,
I'm thrilled to showcase,
I just didn't go with one second.
After the year of development for the very first time,
I'm thrilled to showcase EK Cross Dex on Stellar,
the first fully unified cross-chain decks
specifically for the Stellar blockchain.
So we set out to remove all the different complexities,
generally associated with Defi,
delivering an experience that is seamless,
Suzuki Crossdex enables instant cross chain swaps, gas abstraction, automated liquidity balancing,
and hence moving assets between Stellard and major EVM blockchain has never been simple and faster.
So in order to achieve this, we entirely reimagine DIFA infrastructure for ground up,
creating an ecosystem that's secure, fast, and reliable.
So our innovation includes cross-chain interoperability with cross-chain
bridges, messaging protocol, equity aggregation, smart contract interoperability,
account abstraction, including wallet and gas abstraction,
market chain account management, enhanced security, oracle abstraction, and the transaction automation.
and giving users a unified experience with Fiat Gateway supporting more than 120 fiat currencies across the world.
With ZK Cross 6, you can effortlessly trade over 5,000 tokens across Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Arbitram, Avalanche,
Optimism, Polygon, base and stellar, hence covering more than 75% of the entire DFI ecosystem.
So let's go through a quick demo.
I think there is a lack once in a yeah.
So you can visit stellar.zikrosse at Exchange,
login with your stellar wallet.
We support Freightener, Expo, Lobster,
or you can also create a new one.
Once logged in, you can connect to an even wallet.
At the moment, we support Menawas,
trust wallet, Coinbase, or wallet connect.
And then you can select any of the assets.
Over here, we're converting BNB on Binance Smart Chain
to Excellum on Stellar with one click.
You can enter the amount and click continue
and then confirm on your wallet.
Once confirmed, ZK CrossDex handles the rest,
like fully automated bridging,
swapping, gas fee management,
so your assets will be security credited
to your Stellar wallet in many seconds,
Now you can also track all your assets in our like one view portfolio where we showcase all the tokens that you have on your stellar and
Ethereum blockchain on one interface so you don't have to venture out on different platforms.
So the transaction just went through and you can also check it on chain.
Moving on, so let me also go through
Our like roadmaps over the past year we have deeply integrated in these stellar ecosystem
supported by grants from SCF 25 and SCF 30. So our like detailed roadmap, it's structured into seven phases,
phases one and two, which is already live. We've introduced like cross-iniquity infrastructure
integrating with all the major avian blockchain. Phase three introducing account abstraction,
social logins and a simplified one-click cross-chain sticking.
Phase 4 will introduce advanced AMMDX functionality with very simplified portfolio management.
Phase 5 will have perpdex trading with leverage and unified order books.
Phase 6 will be fully decentralized token launch pad for fared and transfer in token launches.
And then phase 7, supporting the end devs with open sourcing a technology with comprehensive SDK2s.
Please join us in shaping the future of Defi on Stellar,
become an investor and participate in our upcoming cross-Aid token sale,
test the text and share your feedback to announce the entire
You can earn rewards through our upcoming Frontier Divorce Program.
You can connect with a growing community and spread the world.
Explore by being a part of our team as well.
So you're really excited to what we have launched and the future it holds.
ZKKKKKKKKK network, making every blockchain speak the language of DFI.
Oh, there we go. Thank you, Shavim.
And can you remind me what you said earlier, which is this is the first time that this, your completed product has been demoed live?
Yes, this is the very first time and we have been building for over a year.
So it's a huge moment for us and me as a founder, I think we've been through ups and downs and all the support that we've got from the entire SCF team and the entire community.
It's been amazing and we finally achieved it.
The entire product is live and yeah, just like pretty much like really excited to onboard the end users now.
Well, congratulations. That's a huge milestone. And I know we feel lucky to have gotten to
give you this platform to showcase this for the first time. So thank you so much.
And our final presentation for the day, another old school SCF project. If you've been around
Stellar, you know them. We're going to hear from Allbridge.
Hey guys, pleasure to be here. Hope everything is well with the bike.
Yes, you're good. I can hear you.
How do I navigate the slides?
Do I have the permission to sort of navigate through the slide option that you have here?
I'll send it again in the private chat.
I will continue the cross-chain topic.
in ZK Crossestead. So I'm a member of the Oldbridge team.
Specifically, I'm a head of business development.
And we've been building cross-chain infrastructure for many, many years.
Today I wanted to talk about our flagship product,
Old Bridge Corps, which was built with the help of the stellar community
and funded via the ESCF program.
that enabled us to connect Stellar and Sorbon to wait a number of different blockchain ecosystems.
And together we're helping to shape the interoperable future.
So here are some quick notes about Old Bridge Corps if you've never interacted with it before.
So we've tackled the solution that was problem that was present where there are many mint and burn time for solutions. We've
developed and deployed this product to make it seamless and accessible for users to
hope between different blockchain ecosystems.
So for example, you don't need to unwrap the asset once you arrive on the stellar side.
Everything is done natively via the liquidity pools that we have.
We, you also, if you never interact with Stellar before,
and you don't have any XLMs,
you don't need to go to the centralized exchange.
Anything can be done inside the web UI that we have.
You can attach a small portion of the XLM
to your cross-chain transaction,
and once you arrive and receive the transaction
with your Lobsar wallet or freighter wallet,
you don't need to do any additional hurdles.
You can just simply get started with the network immediately.
So we've also been live since May 2024.
and since then worked on expanding the routes that are connected to Stellar.
We've processed already and facilitated almost 4 million in breached volume with your help.
And we've also been growing significantly our TVL
that enables this swap of the native assets.
I also wanted to highlight some of the, pardon me, some of the most interesting
collaboration that we had. We've partnered together with espresso cash to create an infrastructure
and enable the cross-chain swap from Solana to Stellar, which is quite a unique region
destination that we power. And with their help, you can unrom and off from Stellar USDC in
many different countries worldwide. And we're proud to have been a part of this solution. And
Yeah, we are also going to be heading to Stellar House early next month.
So if there are any project that is interested in integrating and onboarding cross-chain
functionality where our SDK, we are more than happy to meet and agree.
Please drop us a line if you would like to and we'll be more than happy to connect and chat
Yeah, and yeah, that was a bit brief, but thank you very much for your attention and time.
Thank you. How can folks get in touch with you? Can you go to Twitter and drop the website?
Yes, you can, can I drop a Twitter handle here in chat? Yeah.
Okay, perfect. You're tagged on the live screen with that.
So that's perfect. All right. Well, thank you so much.
You know, belated, as always, congratulations on your Stellar inaugural I-3 Award.
And yeah, I mean, you all, this has been such a fun group of folks who have really been around
and really sort of set the stage for like what it looks like to be successful building on Stellar,
and you're one of them. So thank you so much.
Thank you. It was always a pleasure to join one of these community events.
Well, folks, that is all that I have for you today
in terms of SCF projects pitching.
Oh, they've got one more slide.
I thought this, yeah, I thought this didn't click
and it wasn't included in the presentation.
So, but yeah, I talked about it shortly.
But this is like some of our things that were
planning to the bridge in the future once they
as part of our continuous development process.
All right, well, we will see you next week then at Stellar House.
Perfect. Thank you very much.
All right, everyone. Thank you all so much for coming to all last time I checked 3.2K of you who watched this live.
I want to give a big shout out to all six of these presenters.
These were really strong presentations.
We had a great mix of folks who have been around since, like I said, before I joined
the SDF team, as well as people who sort of are newer and just have been heads down building
We're talking cross-chain.
We're all over the world.
Thank you so much, everyone.
