Let's go, ladies and gentlemen.
All our hard work, all of your participation,
activities, content, memes,
all the hard work from the founders, from the artist,
to this moment right here.
Hopefully you guys can hear me okay.
It says my mic is working.
Hopefully you guys can see me okay.
I am very proud to be hosting this live stream experience today.
We're going to be going for 12 hours today, at least.
It's going to be two six-hour blocks.
Mr. Boussa, the legend himself, will be kicking off the second one.
And we already got some homies in the chat.
Who was the first comment?
Of course it was Mr. Forty.
Shout out 40, always holding it down.
Usually, we ask y'all to share the spaces stream or spaces link out.
Go ahead and retweet the stream.
I will be active on Twitter as well.
So if you see me looking down, that's just me checking the phone so that I can be active on Twitter as well.
But we're here, ladies and gentlemen, it's Mint Day.
I know a lot of y'all already got your pre-sale OKDs air dropped.
Shout out to you. We're going to be looking into those. We're going to be going to be going over the website. We're going to be looking at the mint experience for anybody who's confused. White List is going to start in just two minutes. So for all the homies who have been active, who have been showing up to the spaces, who have been rocking with us in the discord, collecting candies and really just being a part of this community before we even mint.
That goes out to you guys.
So shout out to you, whether you were able to pick up pre-sale, whether you were able to pick up White List.
And, of course, the team was super intentional about leaving the majority of this apply for publicmen.
So a lot of opportunity for folks to get in on public.
We got the chat already going.
They can't, the good folks at home can't hear you just yet.
But I'm about to add both of you, Elfi and KT.
Punctual, of course, two of my favorite OKD homies.
I'm going to just add y'all to the studio.
And we got the chat popping off.
We're cooking. We're cooking with grease. Okay, we're doing the thing. KT, I'm adding you to the scene. Give me two minutes. Ladies and gentlemen, if you have received your presale already, if you're ready to men, it's 12 p.m. on my side. So, um, white list men should be live. Whiteless men should be live. Okay, D. Season is here.
And I'm gonna add these two legends to the stream.
And okay, transition, chat popping off.
All right, you guys are live.
Hey, Ms. Helpy, what is going on?
KT, I'll throw it to you first.
I got my okay Ds in the wallet.
I'm excited. I'm excited to see the rest of the traits and just, you know, just get back to like the 2021 vibes where you're just looking all day.
Like this morning, I was just scrolling through the traits that were available.
I'm curious to see what else might be popping off as we see more of the collection reveal.
So I've already got a couple of favorite traits.
So yeah, I'm super excited.
I'm really happy to have you.
I saw you posted this today.
You got this one on the left, and I commented this, the combo is clean as heck.
I mean, it does feel very KT.
I think that's the one I first saw.
So that's the one I'm like really viving with out of the two.
But you know, I'm like already like partial.
I like I really want like a Shelley because I do want like a female OKD to like PFP.
So I'm just waiting to find like the one that was dropped in the group chat, the Shelley with the like snap back backwards.
So that's what I'm like looking for.
use some of those candies that we've talked about
and maybe be able to figure something out on the,
after the collection mince out.
I believe, and I am manifesting that for you because I cannot wait to see you PFIA.
Alfie, throwing it over to you.
This is my first time meeting you somewhat face to face.
You're even more lovely than I could have imagined.
Happy Wednesday, happy OK Demente.
Now I'm blushing. Thank you. Thank you. Hello. You should have been to my streams. You should have been watching me killing some cowboys, man. Come on now.
Oh, say less. Hold on. Tell us. When do you? I didn't even know you stream. When do you stream?
I just started. I just got accepted by abstract. So I'm trying my best. I'm trying. I'm trying. But right now I'm hell nervous.
Like, I haven't minted yet.
Like, I'm waiting for the spirits to tell me, like, this is your time to mint.
This is when you'll get, like, the baddest female in the collection.
Like, I'm trying to feel the vibes, but I'm nervous.
So I can imagine how you guys are feeling, man.
Well, if you're nervous, I'm nervous.
Well, not if you're nervous.
Just know, I'm nervous, too.
It makes me feel, and I told this to KT in the chat or in the DMs,
having you guys here makes it that much more awesome.
And we got plenty of time to settle in.
I'm going to be rocking here for at least the next six hours,
probably longer because I'm going to be rocking while bosses here too.
Look at all these legends in the chat too.
Shout out DCVA, OKD on top.
Shouted to Kila, says Elfie.
Shout out to OX Harris Singh says GM y'all happy mint day.
Dad Bob, keeping it short and sweet.
Shout out to N. O. No creed.
So if you guys have minted, I mean, we're four minutes into whitelist mint.
So if you've minted, make sure to throw those on the timeline.
We're going to be going over everybody that we can that we see cooking on the timeline,
If you PFP it, even better.
I got early access a little bit.
So I've been rocking my OKD for a minute.
KD, I think so far from what I've seen,
This is probably my favorite.
Yeah, it's giving me like the salana vibes with the eye mask.
Like, that's like the salana colors.
I do like the, what is it?
And once again, so the team worked hard to go through all of these
and do some quality control to make sure that the final...
collection all looks solid and it looks good.
Let me give some love to this one on the right too.
I mean, these are some traits that actually I haven't seen, which is nice to, I know J.D.
and the team were keeping some secrets, some, some things to be discovered on Mint Day and
this jacket I hadn't seen before.
So I'm really excited to dive in.
Yeah, have you seen, like, do you have a favorite trait so far?
Have you looked at, I know it's like where we got airdropped ours like super early this morning.
Well, early for me because, you know, I'm on, I like to say the best COSA that could be debated, I guess, in the group chat.
I know, you know, my brother's right here.
But yeah, just kind of looking through just the traits are, I mean,
Obviously, like one of the craziest one, obviously the onesies, you know, we've talked about
the teleteen onesies. But I saw that there was a TumTum onesie. So that was like, I was like, whoa, that is, that's pretty fire. And then obviously we got the, what is it, like the dino onesy.
The ones these look good.
I'm probably, a part of me is probably just hating on Coke.
Well, because it's so fun to do so anyway.
Yeah, but he can handle it.
He's like, he's got like a hundred pounds on me.
That boy stays in the gym.
So, but this is, this looks great.
I know all of the onesies.
I'm looking forward to discover more.
Yeah, there's like a, like a, yeah, the TomTom
Woonzy, though, to me just like went off because I wasn't expecting
to see like an OKD face and then just like,
I was like, I mean, but it makes sense.
Wait, there's a, there's a, there was one out there.
Because I was filtered by onesies just to see the different onesies.
And I was like, yo, this snapped.
And then like Nola, obviously that they have a,
one-z. So it was just like there's so many things that I feel we're going to discover as like more of the collection gets minted because all you could see right now are the ones that have been minted.
But yeah, like the traits just snap.
And you could tell, like, there was a lot of, like, thought that went into making sure combinations work.
You could just tell there was, like, a labor of love for sure, like, going through all that.
I would love to see more of, like, those throwaways, like, you know, how a razor posted.
Because there were so many.
Like I just, I want to see some of like those bloopers, you know, like, oh man, this, this is what just generated, but we didn't think it worked that great. But yeah, it's, there's some fire stuff in the collection already. So I'm just super excited to see more.
Who else had to look up the UTC time?
I don't think I've ever seen.
No, it's a real thing, bro.
If you were, listen, 2021, like, that's, it just keeps it universal.
Like, so no one's just like, all right, what did it say?
So it's definitely a real thing.
I was cracking up when I was listening to the last thing.
I was like, bro, gambler, are you living under a rock?
Like, just is a real thing.
I need to educate myself.
As a mod, we had to use a lot of
we have people like everywhere.
Fair enough. Let me make sure
to the legend, the man himself.
I'm getting to see a lot of you that I have never seen
in, like, face to face before.
This is my guy, Mr. Legend,
we share multiple communities together
and every single one is better because he's in it.
How are you doing, brother?
Thank you so much for being here.
Hey, good. Happy Mente, OKD. I'm so excited. I'm going to get on it. I'm still at work, so this is actually my office space. But I'm glad to be here. Thanks for the invite. And thank you for the kind words. And so happy to see you. I mean, I've seen your face time to time. I was supposed to meet you in New York, but I never got a chance to. But hopefully next time around.
Look, J.D. was actually convincing me yesterday to make it to New York this time.
I mean, they're talking, and we're going to get into that today, too.
They're talking about a serious activation, OKD activation in New York.
Are you going to be there?
If they need help, let me know.
And you guys, by the way, from the bottom of my heart, like,
Elfie says she just started streaming.
I don't know if she's ever streamed before.
Stormy, I don't know if you've ever streamed before.
But I hit you guys up literally one week ago and said,
yo, are you down to jump on this stream with me?
Are you down to be a part of this experience?
Like I just started the stream with, like, a lot of that was just because, like, man, I didn't want to be up here by myself.
And I know the team's going to be, the team is working hard right now, cooking, doing behind the scenes stuff to make sure that the men go smoothly and all.
But from the bottom of my heart, just.
Thank you, for real. Thank you, KT. Thank you, Elfie. Thank you, Stormy. Thank you all the homies who will be jumping in. Hopefully we can get Sun Wen Moon here. The homie Klaus, the homie, so many friends. I mean, we're going to have Jeremy in here. We're going to have Ms. Katz in here. We're going to have Expresso from the TDA. It was actually live right now doing his regular spaces. So.
Thank you, Legends, for not just being a part of this community, but being here with us on this historic day.
Like, shout out to you guys, for real.
Stormy, have you ever streamed before?
I mean, I've done some podcasts, not web-through related.
I don't think I've actually ever streamed per se, but I've jumped on calls here and there.
I'm not afraid to show my face.
If somebody wants to get me, they can come get me.
Yeah, dude, that's how I feel, too.
Like, it's not even, it's not even, okay, we got a bunch of homies.
JD, I'm just going to have to jump into dynamic stream soon because I'm just putting, I'm just putting cameras all over this.
Gambler, I tagged you in the TumTum onesie.
I see Thomas is in the studio as well.
So just so you guys know on the back end, this streaming service is pretty cool.
I'm using Will's laptop right now, Joy Boy.
So we're just kind of figure it out as we go to.
But yeah, Mint's going well.
I was just hopping around my laptop to do some work.
But nice to see you guys.
I'll probably try to log in on this account, Gambler,
so I can help you with the setup because I know you are just adding
I'm just throwing all over the screen, bro.
we need to get Thomas in here, though.
You add him to scene and you'll auto do it.
So just so y'all know, like I said,
like this is a really cool platform.
On what I'm seeing is what you guys can't see,
And then there's a live mode, which the live is what is everybody can see.
And the studio mode is me, like, putting it together as best as I can.
And then I transition it.
But dynamic, so the good thing with, like, there's also two settings.
You can do pro, which is like custom, essentially.
And dynamic, it just throws us all exactly how it's supposed to be, which is why it's clean right now.
And if all else fails, I just throw it over dynamic and it does it smooth.
But we got Mr. Thomas in here with us, joining us.
This is absolutely another one of the legends from this OKD community, Pooks community.
Thomas, how are you doing, brother?
On your day off, we got the man here rocking with us on his day off.
Happy, happy Wednesday, happy mint day.
I'm doing good, man. Happy midday. OkD. Stay odd. Pooops. Everybody. I'm glad to see everybody up in here, man. This is fun. Like I said, it couldn't be a better day. I mean, I'm off from work. I got to pick up the kiddo in a couple of hours. So we're just hanging out, chilling with everybody.
Absolutely, bro. Yeah, happy to see you. Have you been able to land any of your OKDs yet?
I have not. I've not been able to land an OKD yet, but I do have three pooks that I'm going to be burning for an OKD.
We'll see how that goes later.
Same, same. I'm looking forward to burning. I have how many? I had I had nine pooks.
and I had to get a 10th one because I am not burning my droid.
So that's just not happening.
But I'm going to have to burn, I mean, I'm going to have to burn my shark onesie,
which like I'm not super looking forward to that.
I'm going to have to burn my, what is it, my bonk, my bonk hat.
My bonk hat, pook, which I'm not looking forward to.
But I'm going to get to, yeah, literally grails.
Like, I'm going to, but I'm going to get to hold on to my,
Well, my OKDs, but also my joy.
Also my joy, there's no way that you're going to get.
Okay, I'm just seeing this tongue time.
Okay, let me share this screen.
That's a one Z that I need for sure.
There's only one in the collection right now.
Just like I said, kind of for those that, you know, we don't know kind of the background of everyone.
It could be people's first time minting.
But, you know, there's right now, I think it says it's a 609.
So, you know, traits are going to fluctuate in rarity and all that kind of stuff.
But yeah, right now there's only one of the TumTum onesie out there.
Wow, look at this. Hold on. Let me blow it up.
I'm not going to lie, I do like the bubble, the bubble bath one-de- also.
You beat me to it. You beat me to it. I really, so does that, is that categorized as a onesie?
Yeah, so the one-sy so far, cloud, dino, bubble bath, pig, um, tum-tum, hippo, and fox.
Wow, you got KT is out here, trait hunting.
You got the whole, you got the whole rundown.
Okay, look, shout out to the team.
for keeping some surprises for us because this is, I love Tom Tom, bro.
Like he just reminds me, I think Bossa said this, but it was definitely Bossa said this recently.
And it's just like a minion vibe.
And once he said it, like I couldn't get it out of my head, like little like just mischievous like minions.
I'm really looking forward to seeing what the team cooks up with this with this IP.
TikTok is messing with it.
We went over this last stream.
But if you haven't made it over to the OKD TikTok, we're going to go on over to the TikTok, the website, mint process, all that stuff.
Right now we're just warming up.
But look at this, man, a million views, 2 million views, 1.3 million, 300K, almost 300K here.
And it's like, it's just such a good contrast to keto.
Because Kido literally has no mouth, so it's like his expression is very minimal.
So he's just like, you know, this like tum-tum is like shaking the booty.
Like, he does just like, anyway, okay, don't let me run out.
Not for nothing, that the Tum-Tum onesie also looks, you know, a little Asian reference here.
Kind of looks like a dumpling.
He does kind of look like a dumpling.
Yes, you guys are making connections that like a part of my brain made, but I like I didn't get there all the way.
Well, let's keep looking.
I give you a little history.
I mean, since we're honest, I mean, I learned about poofs through, I think one of your first spaces gambler that you did with JD and then the gang.
I think I just hopped on randomly.
And I think Mint probably happened a week before prior to that or something of that.
And I knew nothing about it.
But once I hopped on, I heard how hyped you were.
And I was like, all right, I got to get me some.
So I went real sniping that day.
It was one of the ghost eyes with a tatted skin and like a black kimono.
So that's the one that resonated with me a lot.
Not that I have tats, but I want tats.
So maybe I'm hitting him up one day.
And then I also, I think I picked up the, was it the tiger onesie?
And those are the ones I had since then.
Fast forward later on, and I've been on probably almost all the spaces that you hosted with them, if I'm not mistaken.
And then, you know, once we learn more about OKD and then you got hints, you know, from the alpha and the spaces regarding the burn, I started sweeping up a few.
So now I'm up to like about 15.
So I'm ready for burn and stack my wallet with OKDs.
And it's stormy, like I said, like,
and this goes to all of you as well.
Like you guys just, you make every community
And I mean, you guys feel me too,
because you guys have been around the Web3 space
for a minute just like I have.
And when you put your name behind a brand,
It's not something you do lightly, right?
I mean, we make jokes and there's truth to it too
about how the space has the memory of a goldfish
and that there's truth to that.
But there's also real truth in the fact
that your reputation matters and in many ways,
all you have is your reputation, not just in Web3, but in life.
And so when you put your name behind something
or besides something, you don't do that lightly.
You do it with high consideration.
And for me, I don't, you know,
God forbid I ever consider, you know,
refer to myself as a KOL or anything like that.
I don't consider myself anything like that.
I don't think I have motion, but I know.
But what I do know for sure is that I have friends that I care about very much in the space.
And again, as much as the term community member has kind of lost its meaning, thanks to so many grifters and bad actors in the space, I pride myself on that.
And so I know that I have people in the space and friends and you guys are many of them that.
put some weight on what I have to say, right?
And so when I put my name behind something like OKD,
behind something like OK,
which is the other team I work with
and been working for over a year,
something like definitely nothing.
Shout out to Josh the boss who leads that community.
Who's also been bullposting OKD today.
Shout out to him and he's been a part of the community
since Pooks since forever as well.
taking forever to get to my point but it matters to me right i don't do that lightly and so when
i have homies who jump into the community with me it puts that much more weight on it and responsibility
and there was consideration before but after that happens it's like man i just want to go that much harder
so stormy for you to say that it's like i feel you and i know again i know you you don't do it lightly
and k t and elfi and thomas like
And then the punchline is like when we get to the point where like we're here, you know,
It's been it's been forever.
And you guys are happy and you guys are comfortable and you guys are like, this is, this
Like this is where I want to be.
Like that's everything, bro.
Like that's what we're here for.
Like that's what I'm here for.
You know what I'm saying.
But I know how to identify, you know,
People who are here to stick around.
The odd kids are here to stick around.
Shout out to all of you once again for being here.
All the Glaze Fest, just take it.
One day, I'm going to go back to trolling shortly,
but just bear with me for today because I'm feeling myself.
I do have a question for you, Gambler.
One of the traits is, you know, your famous McDonald's visor,
but, you know, they call it Wechdonald's visor.
Do you know, do you have any alpha for us?
Hey, you know, it's just for the culture.
But we know you're, before you change that PFP, you know, you were Mr. McDonald's man.
JD is, JD is in the background.
So this is, this is lore now at this point.
Like, because this is there's traits that like.
We know, like, certain community members, you know, that they just embody that, right?
And so when I first saw one of these, I was like, bro, if I don't see my brother getting one of these, I mean, there's something, there's something wrong.
Like, it just- I do embody putting the fries in the bag.
But hopefully, you know, I know, like, you're very big on the manifestation of the certain traits, right?
Like, think about Lao punks.
right the attach rate right we were talking about that and boy almost sold his loud punk and didn't even realize he had a um a
super rare super rare there's only three of those in the collection so i feel like this i hope i'm manifesting for you when you go to burn that you do get one of these uh mc mc mcgmy
McDowd, what is it called? It says
So hopefully you get one of those.
If not, we've got to find a way
to get one that's life with you.
I believe. I believe. I think,
yeah, and man, you just, you dropped
a whole lot of lore that, you know,
And the McDonald's visor,
that was my PF, it was, by the way,
for those, you know, it's just the classic
WoJack, right, with the McDonald's. I had that
forever. I would change it maybe a little bit and not for long. But now I change it more often.
I had before I had my OKD, I had my base angels. Shout out to the base angels. Love them.
But I had that WoJack for the longest time. And actually my my poop,
The team was really dope, and they put together a really cool poop for me previously, which also had the red McDonald's.
Yeah, yeah, and I was rocking that one for a minute.
By the way, the tattoos, too, you mentioned.
I'm waiting to see a tattoo trait on these OKDs because...
JD knows I love the tattoo trade on the poops, and they haven't given me or us any sneak peeks.
I thought I saw one in Discord.
Yeah, it was like the one with the bandana you're talking about, right?
Yeah, they got them out here.
There's four right now in the collection that have the black tank top with tattoos trait.
Like, sleep, yeah, it's like the neck and on the arms.
And so this is lore, for those of you don't know, J.D. is actually or used to be a tattoo artist.
So that was something that really excited me.
I mean, when it came to the Pooks collection and this collection as well, when you look at this, like this is coming from an actual...
tattoo artists, right, who like puts this art on people's bodies, actually. So like the quality is there.
I mean, you can't miss it. J.D., what's up, man? Tell us about, well, tell us, shoot, how are you
feeling? I know you're running around, but now we got you for a second. How are you feeling? Don't pull all your hair out.
I know you probably got a million things you're cooking, but how are you feeling today on Mint Day?
First off, I appreciate you guys for being here, as always.
Second off, look above my head real quick.
Yeah, so we, there's a little bit of some fun stuff coming.
So you can see some more sneak peeks up here.
But yeah, Mint is going well.
We got everything approved.
Phantom approved us, everything is good.
And right now there's 64KD's minted total.
So yeah, we're just gonna see how the day goes.
I think, you know, we always wanted to do more of like a slower and mint anyways,
compared to anything that's super, super hype driven.
So the way that we've been doing it, we're super happy.
We have the whole team here.
They're all cranking something in the back.
Everyone has something to do right now.
But yeah, Will's right next to me here.
Yo, you want to be real quick?
This thing is going to, this thing is going to not be too happy if I rotate.
Can we get a closer look at that?
Because I can't wait for mine to arrive, man.
Yeah. This is just a mock up that we had for four months ago.
So our actual design is a little bit different and a little bit smaller.
This one is we wanted to do it this big, but we thought it was a little too big.
It's got some weight on it.
So yeah, we cranked it down a little bit more so like a Coke bottle, Coke size.
So it's just going to be a little bit better that way.
And you mentioned, well, not you, but I saw something on the OKB page regarding a golden ticket.
Do we, is there anything you can tell us?
about these golden tickets.
Look out for a golden ticket.
Here's Tom Tom and all of his mischievous glory holding a golden ticket.
Is there anything you could tell us about that?
So for the golden ticket, we actually have, it's a minting.
When you mint, there's a chance of you rolling the golden ticket, which is, oh my God, it's going to be an NFT that's going to be airdrop to you.
And basically, you can use that to claim one of these later for free.
So you guys will be able, yeah, it's a fun little mechanics that we wanted to add to add more fun to the mid, right?
Because I think the space and everyone just loves a little bit of surprise, a little bit of it.
So I hope, I've seen people send me screenshots that they've gotten the golden ticket.
It's pretty rare, but people have been getting it.
So if you mint and you see it, you'll pop up.
And even if you did the pre-sell, you already have a chance.
Yeah. So if you did the pre-sale, what would be the experience of knowing that you got a golden ticket in that case?
You'll receive in your wallet in a week if you get it.
Oh, okay. And you said it's so it's an NFT. Yep. It's an SBC. Okay.
So about token. Yeah. This guy.
But yeah, Will's here if you guys want to talk to.
You keep calling him Will, boo.
I don't know who Will is.
You keep saying, that's Joy Boy.
You guys are calling him, boy.
Months of hard work has all led to this day.
We're super excited and I can't wait to get those toys onto your hands.
You know, we put a lot of effort in making it.
So, yeah, I'm excited for you guys to start all posting photos of it
or, you know, when you guys receive the keto toy.
Okay, so actually we got one of, I keep saying legend, but I'm sorry, it's just accurate.
Another legend from the community, Akila says he's actually got a golden ticket.
Yeah, so he says he got one of these things.
I mean, we have enough people in the community at this point where I did put in the chat recently.
I'm like, like, the odds are like, we're going to mint some rairs.
Like there's going to be some rars just floating around because there's enough people.
So to see Akela get a golden ticket, that's that's super dope, man.
Akela's been rocking forever.
He puts out some of my favorite OKD content.
regularly and he's been cooking on the okayD image generator the AI image generator which we're
going to go into today as well he puts out some of the most fire like AI generated
renditions man so shout out to Akila Kila if you haven't posted it yet consider that because I would love to see
your golden ticket and i want to see what it looks like on your side uh when you mint so like
if you have a screenshot of that miss babbs is here let's go through these comments so we are actually
some of you may miss this we're going to be doing a giveaway
Every hour. So every single hour of these next 12 hours in this live stream mint experience, we're going to be doing at least one OKD giveaway. We'll see if I can squeeze out a little bit more from the team. But at least one OKD giveaway, every single hour. Shout out to Babs. And, uh,
I don't know. What's up? Should we do a quick giveaway right now for the people rocking with us these first 30 minutes of the stream?
I'm going to put it on my lovely guest here to pick because that takes all the pressure off of me.
How are we feeling, gang? Should we run a quick one? Now they can't say no or else they're the bad guys, right? They have to say yes. KT, I can't hear you.
Oh, sorry. I had muted myself. Yeah, no, I mean...
Listen, early bird gets the worm.
Early bird gets the worm.
We're actually just going to throw in a little curveball here, just disgusted with JD.
But we're actually going to be, we're going to do some couple giveaways.
We have three to give away for the golden tickets.
So if you are a, if you minted OkD and you didn't get a golden ticket, this is your chance.
And, you know, it's going to be up to you, Gambler, how you want to do this, right?
But we have three golden tickets that we can throw in the game.
so this is where I'm a squeeze
this is where I get to squeeze out a little bit is that for the
is that three for the entire 12 hours or is that three for
the first six hour block and then there may be another three for the second six
It's going to be for the host dream.
we got three golden tickets.
Look at chat popping off now.
Look at chat popping off now.
Subreys says he's got some fire.
Maybe tag me so I don't miss it, but post it on the timeline.
We want to see these PFB changes.
We want to see y'all excited.
That's why we're going to be here rocking.
This is I keep calling it an experience because that's what we want it to be.
So I got to, all right, three select.
I got to save some for Bossa then.
So let me not, I might, I might, I'm going to be very conservative with those.
But we are going to do at least, we're going to do one, okay, big giveaway right now.
Chita, you know, gambler, let's be fair.
I convinced J.D. here, we'll go, how about you get two?
Say that. Say that. Okay. So two, two for this first six hour block, two for the next one. We got six hours, six hours. So maybe we'll do like one in the first three hours, one in the second three hours. And then Bossa can distribute how he wants. All right.
If I haven't mentioned a giveaway in some time, just bug me and be like, yo, gambler, what's up?
We got to get these out, man.
We got to get at least two golden tickets out.
We got to get at least six OKDs out.
So enough yapping, at least for now because we're going to be yapping the entire time.
But I want to get one of these.
I want to get one of these OKDs out.
It was only five minutes.
You went from one to four.
I'm not mad at that at all.
Look, that's all you got to do.
The team, and look, all praise to the team, too, man.
Like, Stormy was talking about earlier how he first got into the community.
He said it was, like, a week after the Pook's meant.
And I've said, I've mentioned this story a million times now.
If you've heard it a million times, I'm sorry, but...
I went from being somebody who was, you know, going to be in and out of this collection
to somebody who was really just genuinely impressed with the team and how they moved.
You know, I mean, at the end of day, that's what impresses me is intention and action.
And from when I very first got into the Pooks community, I remember JD and Joy Boy and Razor and all the founders work.
chatting active in discord.
They put out a open invitation for anybody to schedule a meeting with them.
right? And I, you know, I love to, yeah, so I jumped on that real quick. And I scheduled a meeting with JD. We chopped it up. I could tell he was, you know, he was about what he said he was about. And I think, I don't even know if it was before or after that. But at some point, I was in the discord and I was like, yo, like, let's do a spaces. Because I'm just the spaces guy, right? Or whatever. But that's what I'd like to do in the space. And
And they jumped on a spaces or they agreed to it immediately.
That was, shoot, who knew that it was going to turn into this, right, over a year later?
But they jumped on the spaces, just down, right?
Down to actually connect with the community.
Down to actually build together.
And, you know, we're growing this community.
Shout out to KT and Elfie and Thomas.
Who's been here rocking since forever.
And, okay, yeah, I've been yapping.
There's an active challenge in the chat for the OKD,
and I'd love to see this play out.
It's from More Than Hype.
He said he'll do more squats against you for an OKD.
Yo, gambler, I'll do squats against you for an OKD.
I can't really say no to that, like right now on this live right now.
So hype, if you want to jump on this stream right now, and look, also...
The OK, look, this is one thing I love about this community, too.
It's very fit and active.
Like there's a very high, and there's some friendly competition, like hybrid and Coke posting his big strong man posts every other day.
He just took 100 pounds bigger than me, so he gets to get trolled.
But, hi, if you want to jump on this, if you want to jump on this live stream right now and do some squats, you've got about a minute.
to confirm in the chat and then we'll make it happen.
Otherwise, we're going to get it out another way.
I can't pretend I didn't see it.
I'll lose some squats right now, bro.
Bab says, I attest gamblers have been shouting out the team for years.
If all shout out to evolve.
It's all about the art community for me.
Everything else is a plus.
Feel that on a spiritual level.
Hype, I've been awfully quiet since, uh,
since, uh, I've been offly quiet.
Let's get, let's get this out.
You want to do some spots?
Yeah, I could just, I'm going to have to, I'm going to, I'm having.
Rethinking his decisions right now.
I have to stretch out a little bit.
While we give hype, two seconds.
Also, G, Akila did post the golden ticket, just FYI.
Akela did post the golden ticket.
He did tag the OKD account, it looks like, as well.
Okay, do you just hit the wallet already?
I'm on my phone now, so I can't check.
But I'll check it as soon as we're done.
I could be sitting on a golden ticket myself.
Well, if you did pre-sell, I think, didn't they, Joy Boy just said it'll be about,
or J.D. said it'll be about a week that we would know because it'd be airtime.
I love Sunwin moon so much, bro.
His AI images that he's been popping out is like six.
So this is what it looks like.
This is what you can look out for.
If you mined, let me blow this up.
And you do, you are one of the lucky ones.
And these are, so if I'm not mistaken, there's, I like that 6,900, nice little Easter.
If I'm not mistaken, there's only 200 of these in the entire 6,500 collection.
So if you got one of these super rare, and actually if you're sitting on this stream right now,
There's a, I mean, one, what is that?
If we're given out 4, 1% would be 2.
So does that mean 2% of the supply is being given out on this stream?
If I math, my math is right.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.
But I think that's right.
If we're giving out four and there's only 200, 1% would be two.
The math is mathing, right?
Two percent are being given out right here on this stream.
So shout out to y'all from stopping by.
She says, you've also won a golden ticket.
This soul-bound token will be air-drop post-min
and can be used later to claim a physical, collectible for free.
And if you're just jumping in here, oh, Elfi.
Mented my first and it's a class.
Elfie, what are your thoughts?
How are you feeling about this okay?
It's like the Yoki, the...
face. I don't know. For a second, I was like, this isn't revealed, right? Because they all
reveal right away. So I had to double check my magic hidden. Okay, this is actually the one I got.
I mean, it's a classic. I mean it's a classic. Yeah, I like the clean. I like the clean ones.
I like the expression and like, you know, there's no mouth. So like the expressions are super limited.
But it's, I like, I appreciate how the team managed to still get some emotion through.
And like these eyes, he's ready for business.
And meanwhile, we got hype over here challenging me to a squat competition for the first.
Like, if you think, like, he was in the chat.
He threw it in and it's something fun.
So if you guys got other ideas for challenges,
We're going to be given one of these OKDs away every hour.
And let me go ahead and send bro the invite.
So I'm going to spotlight myself real quick so I don't blast the zero DMs that I get.
First person to send an eggplant to...
Hype. Okay, here you are, hype.
I'm going to send you this invite because you really, you want that smoke right now.
So I can do, look, I don't know how many squats I can do.
Bodyweight squats, I feel like we're going to be here for like a minute.
Like body weight squats...
I feel like I don't know if I can't remember,
or I don't know if I've ever tested myself
on just body weight squats,
And shoot, so what does that mean?
That means, yeah, if he can't do more than me than somebody else, nobody else has to do it, right?
We'll just find a different way to give it to somebody else.
Say what's up real quick.
Thank you for joining us.
Lovely, lovely charming gentlemen here.
Pleasure to see you joining on stream.
Like I said, you know what?
I was just actually doing some exercise.
I'm old right now, so we'll see how this goes.
No, don't start with the excuses now, bro.
Don't start with that now.
We're cooking with grease now.
Yo, yo, but I had to rock the sweater, bro.
It says, just do nothing.
That's appropriate in some ways.
We'll see how many squads I can bust out.
How are we going to do this?
How are we going to do this?
Because, you know, like, it's rated PG, right?
You just rep two more than gambling right there.
Like, hey, you used to save that for the competition.
I'm already in squat position, bro.
I'm already like feeling it.
Shoot, is there a way to just blow me and hype up?
For real, though, as much as I'm going to do these squashes for fun,
and I don't need anything for me.
I always wanted to get on here just to say congratulations to the team.
From a founder to other founders, you know, it's definitely a grind and I appreciate what you guys are bringing to the space.
You know, obviously Joy Boy, J.D. and the rest of the team, you know, this is what Web3 is about, right?
It's about having fun and content.
So, you know, Matt, I love to you guys and Matt I'd love to.
the whole entire team that's putting this together and it's you know welcome to web three as a
project even though pooks have been out um welcome okay absolutely man appreciate you saying that
appreciate you jumping on the stream uh full squad position by the way like full on squad position so it should
be like a squat time position like it's like a wall sit all right uh how should we do this should we do
them at the same time yes and we'll have tabs out first
I guess we're fucking doing this.
I guess you're doing push-ups next.
So you might get a full body workout.
Hype, but I'm going to try my best here, all right?
Not because I don't want you to get the OKD,
just because I'm not about to let you just come up on this stream and just cook me,
not without a fair fight.
You got a fair advantage right now, bro.
You've been sitting down.
I've been sitting in a squat position for like that.
I'm going to be standing for six hours.
My setup is my setup game is weak.
I just started streaming, you know, a few literally weeks ago.
I'm going to be standing for the next six hours plus because I'm beyond when,
Look at all of the homies.
All you had to say was do's bust some pushups.
if the person that you go against the pushups,
then I think you might have to run with a hybrid.
So you're definitely getting to work out.
You can't be like certain,
put all these other fucking challenges up, bro.
I'm saying also my push-up game, I already know hybrid can do more push-ups than me.
Let me send this- Anybody want to do pull-ups in the chat?
If you want to do pull-ups, you've got to get this guy.
Now KT's just volunteering me for all this work.
Bench press, we need bench press, we need pull-ups.
So what are you doing since you want?
We need some chess-wise from there.
oh, we could go, we can go free throws, we could go three-point shots, we could do one-on-one, whatever.
Let me stop because KT gets down.
Hybrid, are you, are you from L.A., by the way?
once in a bit a couple of times a year.
Are you from the West Coast?
Yeah, I'm up in Canada, bro.
I'm up in the West Coast.
Oh, that's not the West Coast.
But the West Coast is the West Coast.
I'm not going to let you do all that.
I'm not going to let you do that today, tomorrow.
I'm pretty sure if I live on the side of Pacific Ocean, I'm on the West Coast.
You know, that's not really how we do it down here.
Yeah, you just added another hundred squats to what I can do.
All right. I sent it to Hybrid. A quick check of the chat. Evolve talking about we doing pushups for a giveaway. Shoot, I'm going to lose that one. But if you guys, like Babs is hyping, hyping up hype. You got this hype. Hybrid is added. I'm going to add him before we do this so he could talk his little mess.
Yo, what's up? Hybrid. It's been a minute, bro.
All we had to do was start talking about some pushups and squads.
Cokes about to jump in you, too.
Hi, Bray, how are you living, bro?
If Cokes coming in, I'm out.
We appreciate you joining the stream, bro.
You are, again, one of the, you know, one of the,
Just most of the legendary representatives of OKD, of the community, you hold it down.
Thank you for stopping by.
And, you know, especially, you know, I know we all got lives outside of this, man.
So appreciate you stopping by and saying, what's up?
So are you here to take my spot in this squat competition against hype so that you guys can do it?
Or, I mean, that would actually, I might do it with them.
No, man. I mean, yo, hybrid's got like how many pooks? He probably can burn enough to just get as many OKDs as you can do any squats.
No, man, I just look, the only reason I came up, first of all,
is because the other week, JD was like, man, why aren't you on the space?
So that's why I'm up here now, just to represent and support.
And I got my work out of everything.
We got hybrid in the pull-up spot for later on.
And we'll need to let Gambler take a little break in between.
It won't be all fitness stuff.
We're just having fun with it.
But I appreciated hype dropping that suggesting the chat.
You know, we're fluid here.
So if you guys got other challenge suggestions.
All right, let me not switch up the rules already, though.
I are now setting the squaw position for the last eight years.
So do we need, do we need, like, judges?
So maybe one of y'all should be watching me,
and maybe one of y'all should be watching hype.
You don't have to count live,
but you don't even got to tell us, like,
if you didn't count it or not.
Oh, I'll count for a gambler.
What happens if we see, like, a half-rep?
Are we doing below the knees?
Are we doing at the knees?
I need a full range squat.
So I need to, you guys really want to.
You just got to back up, gambling.
Is there any way, G, that we could just put you and hype on the screen?
Let me come over here and go back to this mess of, okay, I think we can do this.
Let me remove, give me two seconds.
I'm just going to do it custom.
And I'm just going to put, yeah, I'm just going to put me in hype on the screen.
I think Babs is really concerned about you guys, so she says we should just do at the knees.
I got some range of motion.
Bro, I ain't got no motion.
I can get down, you know what I'm saying?
I can't let Coke and hybrid freaking just do everything.
But it got to get hot and bob, too.
They all make me freaking go to work, bro.
This is just me and hype.
I got a backup and I got to lower this.
If I start breaking the sweat, mind your business.
Okay, T, let me do a practice one.
Yeah, let's do the time because we could go forever.
Let's do like whoever can do the most in 20 seconds.
I thought we were, I wasn't.
That might be, that might be more.
And just so you know, guys, I'm, if I win this, it's just, I'm giving this to my community.
So this is sacrifice, bro.
I'm going to be minted later, but I'm just doing this for the community.
He's going to get one of these for me,
So we'll do one minute then.
One minute, 60 seconds, yeah.
KT's watching me, who's watching hype to make sure he goes down?
I can watch him, I can count.
All right, Elfie, good, look at that.
I knew what he's watching me, Gabbler, told you.
Hybrid, can you be the clock for us 60 seconds?
Or somebody keep the time?
And you just count them in when you're ready, hybrid then.
I got to lower the camera.
All right, hold up, hold up, hold up.
Give us like a three, two, one.
His legacy's on the line.
Y'all really got me working out here.
Bro, in pants, suit, it's crazy.
Yeah, below the knees, bro.
We're going down for you, bro.
Shout out to the 1400 eyeballs over here.
That's crazy. Y'all out here really watching these boys.
The funny thing is gambler has to stand for another 11 hours after this.
Oh, you said you can't speed up? You think I can't speed up, bro?
Yeah, bro. I'm tired. I'm done. 20 seconds.
Ooh. How many I got compared to this guy? Let him let's go. Let's go. Let's go. This is easy.
Nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one.
I'm going to virtual fistpump you there again.
You gotta go get some water?
I think you're gonna cry.
And he still had one more than you.
Somebody plotting against me.
Do you all know if Jadie's coming through?
They're like in the background doing stuff.
I feel great. I'm going to go.
Ice gas. You got to soak or something.
No, man, I'm good. I'm good. No, I appreciate it. Like I said, we're going to give this out to our community.
We've got we got we got bingoes tonight. So I'm going to give up to some of our community and bingo tonight. Let's go.
You know, because he was doing the half ones.
Yeah, I'm not going to lie.
The replay might show some things, but hey, we're here now.
And congratulations, hype.
You're taking it home to the community.
I thought I was going to get to, like, come in and be like, you know what?
We're going to give it to him anyway.
You know, we're going to, we're going to throw his way anyway for working hard.
I know I did more than him.
You know, it would actually been even worse if I would have stopped when he stopped.
And then I thinking I had it like, okay, well, whatever.
Elfi got a little tum-tum smirk on her.
But you can play it back.
I might need to run that back.
Send me your wallet address.
Good luck with the rest of the men.
And yeah, if you got pooks, burn them if you can,
But yeah, either way, guys, peace out.
Highbrids, good seeing you, bro.
The rest of you guys, I'm going to go.
I'm going to take a laugh.
There's something going on.
I don't know about that one.
I'm really about to drop this on him,
but I'm going to be the bad guy forever.
You just got to do better.
they were critiquing you in the chat,
I don't know if he's going to go here.
Hey, did you really take the loss that bad?
All right, anybody that wants to do push-ups, we'll send you the link.
We'll let him take like a five-minute break and you'll be up against him.
And then, yeah, we'll just keep the workouts going for a gambler.
He'll probably lose by one push-up, too.
It didn't cut the stream?
I was like, don't tell me.
We thought you just couldn't stomach that long.
Probably could be Sepaku over there.
I just couldn't take the hell.
I had to just hide my face.
Oh, there's the man himself coming to, I mean,
Yeah, and you got to remember, dude's pretty tall.
So, like, going that low, I mean, I mean, you should have just let us say to the, you know, like Babs was saying to keep it safer.
But you got, you got cooked by one, bro.
I'm telling you, I thought I was going to come in and be like.
Yeah, I had hope for you because you started picking it up when Akila was like, go faster.
I was like, bro is going hella slow.
I don't know if he's going to be able to keep up with this guy because this guy was like,
I think that's why you had to take a break because he was giving it his all.
You literally got cooked by one and that man took like a five to ten second break.
There's a lesson in here somewhere.
It's always a lesson in everything.
I'm going to try to figure it out, but.
You didn't quit, but you didn't win either.
Always give 100% no matter what.
No, I don't think you were giving 100% to be honest,
because it was the comment that said,
go faster that fueled you.
So to me, you were giving me about 75%.
And then that comment, and then I saw you, like, really start to go.
If you would have kept that pace from the jump,
you would have won by I'm giving at least a solid five.
All right, well, let's look, you guys, you guys got all these opinions.
Someone's good slow and steady wins the race.
Gambler, I think it's, I think it's time to get some,
I guess some tips from the one and only.
The one and only, you know what?
Bob has not been giving me his Chad tips of the day lately,
I needed, look, IC's talking about WallSids.
Evolved is laughing at me.
Icy said, KT said, get this work.
Look, no more challenges from chat.
You guys want to hop on street, say something.
Kids said, can't be working his whole body today.
Bob said, you got the push-ups gambler.
I've been practicing, but I've been practicing because they're my weak point.
Hype looks like he wants to smoke.
Man, I'm just getting cooked in chat today.
That's what I'm here for.
Can you put up the tip of the day from Bob, please?
Is there something in chat?
It's a little late for that.
Edmoneys, shout out to the legend and monies.
We're going to get Eddie in here soon enough.
Him and Miss Brittany are going to talk traditional, traditional stocks in investing because
you know that's important.
Look, all I do is roast Coke and hybrid.
Go ahead and just get on my head.
The rabbit and the turtle.
I don't know what you're trying to say.
Well, because someone said slow and steady wins the race.
And I said, no, it didn't.
When there's no time to the face, maybe.
And, you know, I, yeah, tough loss, Babs.
And I actually, I, I motivated, or I mean, I rooted hype to keep going, too.
I was like, bro, keep, come on, what you're doing?
And then he kept doing, he busted out, man, that's.
You're going to live, like, this is going to sting for a little bit.
That's lore. That's like.
Oh, I like Dad Bob's new PFP.
And he says, got to do better.
Thanks for the, thanks for the tip.
Let me, how am I going to, how am I going to live this down?
How am I going to face my family after this?
And yeah, I might need to, it might have been my mistake choosing Alfie as the judge, too.
It might have been like you're right.
You can't blame this on her.
Listen, this was all, this was a you problem.
I wish he was here to cook.
I don't know if he was here, you would not hear the end of it.
And it would just pile along on top of that.
Can we just all agree all of us seven people plus the 1,500 eyeballs, almost 1,600 eyeballs that we're not going to tell Coke about this?
You miss gambler getting cooked.
Oh, man. All right. Fair enough. Fair enough. Fair enough. Fair enough. All good.
That's what I'm here for. Look. Is it too late to say, look, you know what? I let him have it. What can I say? What was I going to do? What was I going to do? Not let her look. Hiro. All right. Oh, no, no. I ain't going to cop. He did that. He did that. Fair Square. Scanty says, I'm so sorry, gambler. Yo.
but we all agreed we're not going to tell coke right deal no it's already in the group chat
so that's the first uh yeah let you know what let me check because y'all y'all love to yap
let me check this group chat real quick because y'all love to yap let me see y'all jump on screen and
yeah let me see oh dad bob said send me the link all right let me send homie the link real
quick so we get all the homies in here
Too many keyboard warriors.
You missed Gambler getting cooked on the stream.
Lost the squat challenge by one.
Oh, you guys have, you guys got jokes today.
Hey, look, I haven't said anything.
You haven't said anything, but almost your silence is almost more deafening.
I mean, everyone's doing what they got to do.
Coke said LMA because he don't squat.
Let me put this on stream real quick.
I want the family to see this.
I'm going to put our OKD chat so people can see what they're missing.
I've been inviting people to this chat in like almost every places.
And not enough people have been taking take.
Dad Bob, what is going on? King.
I've been live in a minute.
Doing great. Minted my two OKDs. Can't wait to burn some pooks later. Dude, I'm chilling. I'm actually, I've been out working while you guys have been yapping. If you're not utilizing AI to, like, build apps and just do crazy shit, then I don't know what you're doing. Thank you. My man, I'm doing that right now and some work.
It's crazy the opportunities that are in front of us. It's almost odd, some would say.
Tell us about it. What are you cooking?
Let me tell you. Let me tell you this. Let me tell you this. Gambler can attest this.
Sometimes I yap too much and I learned that that can be too much.
If you yap too much, you're tricking your brain to make it you think that you're getting stuff done.
You know what I'm saying?
So it's better just get it done and then show up like, boom.
Look what I've been doing.
So that's kind of where I'm at with it.
That's real, bro. Hey, shout out to you, and you know you got support from all your homies here in the OKD community for whenever you're ready to drop that. We're here with you. Let me see. Look, so this is our OKD Twitter chat. Let's see who's roasting me in here.
Well, Coke is here, by the way. He is in live chat right now.
Yeah, yeah, but he ain't here here. Coke, hop on the stream, bro. Stop playing with me. I don't want to see you. Hold on, Dad, by you are using VO and...
cursor oh actually no so i i got accepted to marad um and it pretty much is an ai agent that does it all for you
So I'm basically copy and pasting, but the fun part about that is I'm starting to learn like the little basics of how to use the terminal and understanding like how to open up files and get them.
You know, things that were like hieroglyphics to me before.
I barely know the English language, not alone a computer language.
Um, so it's like, um, it's pretty fun.
I'm like, it, it pumps me up, you know, because it's something so new.
It's like, it's challenging.
It's like when you're a kid and you're getting into something new.
It's like, it's actually exciting and not redundant, like so many things are these days, you know?
Definitely a game change.
Yeah, yeah. I mean, we had a we had a spaces on Monday about AI.
Boutoshi, I got a shout out Boutoshi. Who else?
Lord, I mean, there's so many people. Lord World Peace, the homie DAV from the V-FRIEN's
community if you know him.
And AI, it's not going anywhere.
It's, it makes any goal that you have easier.
Right now, I'm very basic with it.
But I do use it for like my workouts.
I've been logging my workouts for the last year plus.
And so I'll just copy paste that, throw it into chat GPT and be like, yo,
what do you think of my workouts?
And it'll be like boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.
This is like what you can consider.
I'll take pictures of my meals.
and I'll send it in there.
I'll be like, yo, what do you think of this meal?
Can you estimate the calories and protein for me?
I think that's underrated right there because we get so much workout and diet routines from people who have different bodies and upbringing situations and health complications than us.
Where you give Chad GPT your health history and all your specifics and hey, my father's from here and my mother's from here.
And they had these complications in their 50s and it can give you a more like, oh, you actually need more magnesium in your diet.
specifically, you know, and then you start taking some magnesium.
You're like, you know what?
These workouts are getting easy.
Oh, shit, that's all I had to do, you know, and you wouldn't know.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, I know we've had a great run.
But unfortunately, the man himself has joined us.
We were having a good time.
And now our favorite tell it to be is here to say what's up.
Coke, how are you doing, bro?
We can't hear you at my friend.
We can't hear you, brother.
Yo, I was trying to figure out how to unmute.
I heard you lost a squad competition.
How many did you do, man?
How many squads you put up, man?
You weighed like five pounds, bro.
And now we can't see you.
Yeah, I know. I'm DPS and I'm driving. I had to pop in and save it with stuff, though.
I love to the, to the Oaks squad.
It was how many we could do in one minutes, all right? That's what it was.
And somehow I'm not going to lie, some, he took a break. He took a break and I still lost.
So, but I was doing full range. You don't know nothing about that, Coke. I know you don't know nothing about full range. I know you'd be doing them little.
them little prison, prison reps, you know what I'm saying?
But I was getting down with it.
And, you know, that's what had happened.
You know what I'm saying?
So put that on my tombstone.
You were, yeah, ass, grass, take the floor.
Well, Cog, I know you're running around, man.
Thanks for jumping on while you're working, but.
Ed Money said, Coke, put me on to Dorito back.
How do we get like you so we can post those big brawny pictures on the timeline every day
with your muscles and your veins popping out?
So you want a Dorito bag, do laps.
Lap pull down, wide grip, close grip, rows, T-bar rose, seated, chest-supported rose.
I got a 255 bench press PR yesterday, too.
That's three times your weight, Ghandler.
I got to, he just lobbed me.
I got to hit this one out the park.
He said, Coke, one leg day.
Akela says you skip leg day.
Bro, I'll put three of Akila on my back and then do Bulgarian split squats.
And if you don't know what Bulgarian split glasses, that tell us all we need to know about you.
He looked right at the camera when he said that.
I wonder who he was looking at.
He looked straight at the Kibbe.
You're right in the middle of the screen, so it's.
He looked into somebody's soul when he said that.
They call me the Bulgarian split squatter.
No, I do be doing the Bulgarians list.
I'm working on it, fellas.
I'm going to keep it coming.
Stormy's fixing his connection.
Akela, I'm still happy Akila got the golden ticket.
We're all over the place.
on the schedule for today.
And of course, we would love to have all you guys rocking with us to stay on.
We got cats, the one and only miss cats.
If you know her, you're blessed.
If you don't, you can have an opportunity to know her here on the stream.
She's going to be here with us at 2 p.m.
She's the events queen, right?
Events, queen. Yes, could not have put it better myself. She is running the world, whether it's NFT, NYC, Miami, L.A., international. She started with takeover IRL with the V-Friends community, which the V-Friends community is so goaded. If you don't know, you don't know, but...
A lot of them actually are overlapped here in the Pooks community, in the OkD community.
Events Queen, she's going to be live with us at 2 p.m. 2 to 2.30 talking events.
And also, she stays putting us on to all the events.
Like she's always hooking up, she's been hooking up the pooks for over a year now and all her events.
And that's something else that, you know, I'm confident that she'll continue to do,
giving us opportunity to show up to these people.
dope experiences, which like, if you know, you know, IRL is one of my favorite parts of this space.
I mean, streaming is cool, too, though.
Like, honestly, like, this is a cool, this is a cool opportunity that we get to do this now.
But IRL is, you know, it's a whole different animal.
And Katz is the events queen.
JD, you're not going to tell us to smile before you start, you know, taking selfies.
I was hopping around, Discord and getting a bunch of DMs, yeah.
I think you were taking a selfie.
We've been recording, you know, we'll do like the vlog series of like the whole behind the seat of just building the brand.
But obviously, tough to do, right?
Just hopping around right now.
So, yeah, again, so top of the hour and then shoot.
You guys don't really see Dexter.
Dude, you know, I've been here the whole time.
And all I'm hearing is you're just going to chirp, man.
Worth the love for Gambler, guys.
Bro, did you see that squat?
I will say I didn't see the squad, so maybe you'll just want.
Gambler, I appreciate you.
I appreciate you for being an easy target.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much.
My boy, I can't wait to meet you in either NYC or if you're going to be in Las Vegas at Bitcoin.
Don't let the light skin fool you.
This guy is a yapper also.
Professional, some might say.
He gives it, but he can take it also.
Ed Moni says, was it hard to set up streaming?
He knows about streaming.
Like, I'm not going to lie.
JD, if it wasn't for JD, like, you know, telling me that put my foot on the gas,
like, I don't know if we'd be here.
But like anything else, it's like riding the bike.
You know what I'm saying?
Once you get it, you get it.
Uh, the homie, Thomas says he's got a bounce. So let's say goodbye to him real quick. Thomas,
appreciate you stopping by brother. This stream would not have been the same without you.
Any final thoughts before you get up out of here.
Don, not much, man. Just appreciate each and everyone to you.
Did you, uh, you're waiting much. I'll be back on later.
You're waiting. You're waiting to burn, right? So we can't see your, your okay.Ds just yet.
Yeah, not yet, I don't think.
Well, thank you again for stopping by.
Yeah, I'm going to try and get to move on.
Yeah, feel free to jump back on whenever.
You know, we ain't going anywhere.
I'm going to be here, see how long I can stand.
Have a blessed day, King.
We are, again, about 20 minutes in this next hour.
We got another giveaway to do.
We don't need to do it right now, right now.
JD, did you say something?
Should I check the timeline real quick?
Let's see what's going on over here.
You got some, I've seen a couple of fire stuff about OKD on the timeline.
Carlo from Bearish, he posted his.
And then the owner of the Tum-Tum onesie retweeted it with theirs.
That's like the size of my head.
I just had to show you all.
Coke just stays flexing on us.
Let us go back to, yeah, I want to see some, I want to see some, some okayDs on the timeline.
So let me jump over here.
Who haven't I picked on in a minute?
Elfie, I don't know, man.
I thought we were friends.
I think he posted on Discord.
I think his name is Howie.
He pulled the really sick one.
It's like a full puffer, like full glow.
It's on Discord, you said?
It has like a, what is it?
What is that skin type color called?
It's Ike, but then it's the purple.
That's a full bubble bath.
Feel free to ask questions, right?
Like if people are in chat, right, feel free to ask any questions.
I don't know if you heard my question earlier about the,
Was that inspired by gambler?
A lot of these traits are actually inspired by the community.
So the visor was definitely,
and, uh, yeah, sorry, I just saw a question,
but hopefully that answered your question.
Yeah, so somebody says, shout out to Soda for being here. He said, he or she says,
excuse me, do you think there will be stock enough for public mint? Also,
price for public is 0.45 sole, correct? Correct. The, the, the, the, the, the, the, the,
the white list price and the public price is the same. The only difference is that it's guaranteed
for people in the white list. And then the rest of the supply will roll over into public. So,
we mainly want to do a bigger public anyways, because that's,
the way we like to do things.
We don't really think white list is the best method all the time for really growing your community.
But yeah, so we will, I don't know the exact supply that we'll have for public,
but I know that there's going to be a minimum 1,000 plus rollover.
Babs really wants a bubble.
JD, you said the bubble's super rare, right?
It's basically kind of like we treat some traits like one-on-ones.
In a way, we don't like one of ones as much.
We like more like rare traits, rare, like super rare traits, super rare, yeah, super rare traits.
Sorry, I'm just like looking at a bunch of things, but yeah, super rare traits so that it kind of acts as like a one-on-one community.
So let's say like people who gather these traits can kind of, you know, feel like they belong in some sort of group or they can collect together, right?
That's the whole vibe of it rather than one-on-ones where it's only one person getting it, right?
So we don't really want to put too much emphasis on one-on-ones.
Rather, we want to put emphasis on traits.
Well, I was about to ask the clothing because I'm over here on Magic Eden looking at this ice cream cone.
I think it's only one of them, right?
There's a couple, but that's also one of the super red traits.
Yeah, the ice cream cone.
That one is, we didn't reveal any of that one just because we want people to kind of see kind of like a creative take on traits.
So there's ice cream hat and there's also ice cream full body ice cream onesie.
I'm scrolling looking through at some of the traits.
So Bab says, is there a possibility there won't be any for the burn?
She's talking about the bubble trait.
Is there a, I mean, it's just evenly, it's distributed how it's distributed, right?
So the odds are the same whether you're minting or whether you're burning.
Yeah, you're not, you're not, you're actually not minting in chronological order.
So let's say you're like the 500, 500, uh,
Minter, you're not getting OKD ID number 500.
We made it so that it's all random.
So, and I think in terms of that question, I think she meant like, is there any possibility
that there's not enough OKD for pooks to burn, but we have reserved the right amount,
I don't expect the collection to reach 6,500 anyways,
just because I don't expect every single pooks to be burned, right?
Like even one, two, three years from now.
So that should be a fun though mechanic that we put in there
that would last forever for the pooks burn.
But yeah, that means that I don't think OKD will ever reach max supply.
Could it sell out before burn?
No, not possible because we reserved amount.
I mean, the white list...
portion yeah we could sell out yes but there will always be allocation for the burn so let's say
it sells out and all the phases before burn yeah um it'll be fine it'll be fine if you have
allocation to burn you'll be able to burn yeah yeah you it will it will never ever sell out
for the burn unless all five thousand pooks get burned which
Yeah, I don't think that will ever happen.
It will be just too, too many.
I'll keep three pooks in myself just to make sure that it never happens.
And public will be live in, what is it, two and a half hours, three hours?
Yeah, there's a countdown on the website.
It should be two and a half, yeah.
Okay, I got a question from Mr. Josh, OG poop.
He wasn't able to mint his okayDs.
Was he supposed to like, if you had Pooks, did you have to mint? Did you have to submit a wallet?
Yeah. Pooks had a lot of options. They had access to pre-sale. They had access to whiteness and they also have access to the burn. And we let people choose whatever they want to do.
Right. And so you were able to choose from one of three or three of three. And you just had to submit your wallet for the white list. And if you participate in the pre-sale, that was just pre-sale. It was open for all pooks. So yeah.
The reason why we did that is because we don't know how many pooks are going to be wanting to be in the white list, right?
Which means we can allocate those wallets to other people or other communities are also interested.
So that's why we did a wallet submission.
Because there's probably like 800 wallets for pooks.
Not 800 will always mint white list because, for example, like most people here up here participate in the pre-sale.
So they would not want to be in the white list, for example, right?
But the public, honestly, I think the public is going to be, we want to do a bigger public
so it's kind of playing out how we want it.
There's plenty on public.
And then when, when is public?
Is it two and a half hours or three and a half hours?
brother you're going to keep making me look this k t he just said he just asked that and he
already confirmed it was two and a half hours you're not all right all right look you got to use
your listening ears bro i was using my other years my bad so for for example right um
Do you know the minus and the plus on it?
That is basically in reference to UTC.
UTC is always going to be the universal time zone.
And the minus and the plus goes from UTC.
So if I say 12 p.m. UTC, for example, for me, it would be minus 7 because we're on the West Coast.
So we take 4 p.m. we minus 7, which is 9 a.m.
So that's a one way for you to see it or to know your own time zone.
So the reason why universal time zones use is because, you know, there's people in Asia, right?
Like if I say 9amPST, they're going to be confused.
But if I say UTC, they might know the plus four.
And they'll be like, okay, easier for me to know.
Okay, and another question.
When does the actual burn mechanic open for poops?
Ideally, we're going to push it right away.
But obviously, there's going to be some unfreezing the collection first, so on and so forth.
So there's possibly like five, ten minutes.
So we set it to be up to 24 hours, but we're going to try to push it as soon as possible.
But allow up to 24 hours just in case anything we need to roll after phase two ends.
Okay. So within the next 24 hours, we should be able to burn our pooks.
Well, it depends on when mint out is.
Everyone, if you have any questions on like mint mechanics and stuff, tokenomics.okinomics.okitvers.com.
That's where all the details are.
And you guys can take a look all there.
And I'm basically just reciting what is on that page for the mint info.
Beautiful. I got that out. Let me send this link to Ms. Katz before I forget.
Somebody makes me do another 45 squats.
Ah, ha, ha, ha, ha ha ha. Ha ha ha. Ah, so funny, so funny.
What did you think? What did you think of my squats? What did you think?
I think they were pretty solid.
I was on the side talking to our doves,
and I completely missed you guys squad.
I heard the chirp after, though.
So I assume that you didn't do what you're supposed to do.
Yeah, I didn't do what I was supposed to do.
I'm sending this link to Katz,
and then we'll scroll through some of these timeline posts.
Yeah. What was that? Okay.
Where are we at? I want to see some of these OKDs. Let's see. This is Blue Tiger. Just got my OKD air drop. So this was pre-sale. Guaranteed starts in 20 minutes. Wooop. Only for odd kids. Yes, sir. Yes, sir. Here's a puffer. I really like these. I like your hoodie one too, J.D.
The one you've been using it.
Yeah, we wanted to do full hoodie, but we didn't want to do a traditional full hoodie.
Kind of like, you know, people just have their hood up.
We wanted to be like more fun, so we scrunch that thing up.
Yeah, we wanted to make it extra.
If you guys have any of that pop out too, just let me know.
You can DM them to me or.
I'm gonna say, I've been through my, the one, the vest that mine has, right?
There's only 10 of them and mine is the cleanest by far.
in love with my classic baby right now.
And look, Gambler, I swear to God I didn't cheat.
Just please don't hate me because it wasn't my fault.
Blame your weak-ass legs instead.
I couldn't ever hate you.
Elfie, thank you so much for stopping time.
Man, I'm never going to live that down, am I?
Yeah, it was the weak-ass legs for me.
It felt weird thanking her after that.
I felt a little conflicted.
But we're going to roll with it.
You know what trade is pretty dope?
It's the headware where it's the party starter with like, you know how you put the cans on the side and then it, you know.
Oh, yeah, yeah, I know what you're talking about.
Those ones are pretty dope.
A lot of great stuff out there.
Yeah, I love to see the PFP changes.
Is this pre-sale dad bought?
I couldn't get them at the time.
But honestly, I like this, the one that I have PFP right now with the hot eyes.
I think the hot eyes is one of the dopest things.
But I really want to get a cloud head, so I might try to do some trading around.
In all my, you'll probably find a cloud.
It's just always been a thing since I was a kid.
So anytime I see a cloud trade, I'm going for it.
You know what I'm saying?
Have you seen the different cloud colors?
Scrolling on Magic Eden real quick and seen one with a cloud hat and was like, I'm on them.
This other one is clean too, though.
I like that one, but I'll trade that one for a cloudhead.
So if anybody gets a cloudhead and wants that one, it's for trade for a cloudhead.
There you have it, ladies and gentlemen.
This one is, yeah, I like the color coordination.
I feel like that's something you guys were considering when you were going through quality control, JD.
Yeah, you want to speak a little bit about QC?
Yeah, yeah, tell us about it.
Yeah, we looked at every single one after we got it up and running to make sure that qualities could obviously
A human error could have happened, but we hope not.
But the whole, there's also like different palettes that we did.
So like, for example, blue hats are more likely to generate with a blue hoodie, blue shirt, blue glasses.
and then let's say more monotone traits are more likely to generate together and obviously there's
mixes too but the reason why we did that is so that there's some sort of coherent cohesion
between colors and palettes because some people really like blue and so they might go for like the
all blue some people like a little mix so they'll go for a little mix so we make sure that there's a little bit of both
into it. So a little bit of fun in within the random aspect of it, right? We didn't leave it to
100% be random. Okay, that makes sense. We added some rules to it, some possibilities. So we
we just added some some sort of dating to it. Yeah, I think it shows because some of these,
the color coordination is
Yeah, my like legit just like baseball, baseball fan.
Like it looks like it was almost designed for that.
Like somebody who really loves baseball.
Somebody said to Dodgers.
I definitely can see the coordination.
Some of these I'm looking at.
And that's some really cool mechanics.
Was that hard to like put it into the,
There's certain rules that, yeah, it was tough playing with the numbers and the possibilities and making sure things generate the right amount, right?
And then we also had traits that are unisex, traits are female focus, trade that are male focus.
So making sure that those are our certain going together too.
So there's just a lot of layers and complexity.
And then also if you look at the hats versus the eyewear, certain hats have like brim, right?
Which means the high eyewear have to be below the layer.
But like for example, beanie eye wares would be above.
So we had to make sure that the layering is correct or else it will look really bad.
And so just a lot of different rules and possibilities behind the scene.
But this guy's mentioned.
So this is, again, we'll look at this and we'll do another giveaway shortly.
But once again, if you guys, if you meant it, if you got a golden ticket,
Cosmos likes your, your New England, your Boston accent, dad Bob, he says,
Better be a soft one to say.
If you're going to remember,
somebody else is getting rusted instead of me.
Pa the car down, by the bar.
Before the car, before the game by Fenway,
Hey, this splatter pop jacket is fire.
Where is it? I want to see.
I mean, I'm not a magic eating, but it's called the splatter pop jacket.
Yeah, it's blue and pink and white.
Yeah, the colors on that one.
I do have a question for JD if he's able to.
Just I know on the, I'll wait until he comes back because I don't want to repeat myself.
I'm jumping over the magic,
so I can start seeing these ones that you guys are talking about.
But, so just my one question, though, is in case I do have to pop off here in a second.
Like, I know in the sketchbook, you know, merch is listed there.
So my one question would be is, like, are any of the traits, I guess,
preludes to the type of merch that we will see.
So like the beanie, you know, like the hats.
Like one of the shirts in here, it was so simple but so effective.
Black shirt with like it looked like it was a rose.
And then it said, I think it said something neat.
I think, I don't know if it's like keto or something underneath it.
But like simple items like that, you know, just seem.
That it just seems like...
Like they're meant to be merged, right?
So, oh, I see it right here.
So it's just got the roses,
but then like that nice keto script underneath it, black.
I mean, it's just simple, but it's like...
I don't know, it's effective.
Less is more sometimes, you know what I mean?
And then, like, even the baseball jerseys,
you could definitely see people rocking these around the city.
It just seems like it would just translate over really well on the merch side of things.
Yeah, that was the whole goal is to create traits that are very...
relatable and it resonates with daily lives right because that's that's how we want people to rep
the brand it's just a bunch of people that are just doing their own stuff that looks like these characters
that wants to be a part of these and represent them this digital identity so that's the whole reason
and then obviously you know when we do merch well merchandise includes a lot of things but the first
thing is going to be the toys right and it's already replicating a lot of the the trades and then
next we'll probably be doing some more like uh
clothing, fashion, but the main focus first is obviously going to be the toys and then
we're going to transition. And yeah, a lot of these traits are going to be one way or another
a part of collectibles or IRL items so that it translates between the two worlds.
Perfect. Gee, you just clicked on the next thing I was going to tell you to go to 3671,
the one that you just clicked on it's up on my computer like it's fire yes we have a we have a
similar taste it drew my eye immediately as soon as i seen it i like this the hoodie this is
the same style that like jd's is but i hadn't seen this hoodie before this specific one like jd like
i know you have a background in like tattoos right but even when it came to the pooks right like the
There's a clear eye for like design.
I'm saying like a lot, but for design and fashion.
Is there where was that inspiration drawn from?
I mean, are you guys just got it like that?
Does anybody actually have experience in design or like, what, where did?
Because it's clear like somebody, you guys know what you're doing, right?
Yeah, it's the whole team plus or so, plus just everyone chiming in together and working through it, right?
I think that's the whole thing is that we're all very aligned in our vision, the way that we think, the way that we...
dress the way that we look. So a lot of things kind of come naturally to us. And then obviously
working with Erso, he also puts his twist into the art. It's not completely us. It's collaborative
effort. So it's always for us, it's a team vision thing. Right. And then we put it together.
Yeah, I don't know. I met you and I don't know if you got this much drip, bro. I don't know if I've
seen this much drip on you. All right. See you in New York.
Oh, you're going to step out in New York.
Me, Joyboy, and Dexter, we're about to go get some crazy drip just for New York.
And return it right afterwards.
Yeah, and we'll return it right at Soho.
Soho is the shopping district?
Well, there's multiple places, but.
Yeah, Dexter here lives in New York.
So he knows he flew back just for the mint.
Babs, L.O.L.L. Gambler, you guys know what you're doing, right?
We don't. We don't know anything.
They know a thing or two. They know a thing or two. Because they look good.
You know, this green Hawaiian shirt definitely is a vibe.
No, it's a, it might be down a little still, but it's OKD 4879.
about was talking about before
That's what I think is important.
Like, if you're scrolling something.
Asually to buy, you see that.
You're like, minimally you're clicking it.
At lowest of minimum, you've clicked it, right?
So I think that's, that was really dope because it really, really, really like, it was
Like you click the bold button just for that.
You've seen that the bubble gum? Did you see the bubble gum one?
The like it's like the gumball machine.
This oversized glow puffer is pretty dope.
No, I've just been scrolling.
Like I've got, I've been scrolling them since I woke up and I saw the alert that the air drop happened.
I was like, all right, head into Magic Eden.
This is my style all day right here.
I want something like this.
Hybrid, you said the glow puffer?
Yeah, it's an oversized glow one.
Yeah, that's a oversized glow one, yeah.
You guys, yeah, the team did a really good job keeping some surprises.
Yeah, that gumball one is 1174.
You could just type it in the search and it should come up.
And then did you guys see that background?
It's like the good and evil background, good versus evil.
I really like that gumball machine.
Shout out to the hottest.
What was that one right there?
This is my favorite trait.
This is my favorite trait.
That's my favorite trait.
Evil Tum Tum and Angel Tum Tum.
Oh, J.D., you were really holding out on me, bro, bro.
That's not even a background trait, is it?
No, yeah, it's the background.
Well, I couldn't find it.
Bab says, will there be a trading chat or spot on the Discord or website?
Babbs is hunting that bubbles one.
If you guys get a bubble.
We ran into a lot of scams before.
It's never really, right?
So we just recommend people to just list, sell, buy, right?
That's the best and safest way.
The famous Fox FFF trading platform if you want, but to be honest, it's scary.
I've seen so many people get targeted and scams through it.
Maybe we have to moderate real better this time, but to be honest, it's tough.
So that's the official answer from the team.
But I would say humbly, unofficially, if you're in the OKD chat on Twitter,
you know, we know those people in there.
But, you know, Babs, use your best discretion.
But if it went in doubt, run.
But the OKD chat, you know, you can drop some in there and have some conversations,
at least, you know, have some conversation.
And you can always still just list.
I don't know if you can do private listings on Magic Eden.
I know you used to be able to do that on OpenC.
Yeah, they used to have the, they implemented those, like, the deals on OpenC
where you could, like, you know, someone could offer you and then you accept or not.
But I don't know about Magic Eden if they have something like that.
Yeah, this good and evil one is my new favorite trait.
I wish that was like, I wish this was available like on the overlay on the customizable thing because this is so sick.
Tum Tum Tum is my favorite.
Can you tell us anything else about Tum Tum Tum?
Are we going to be seeing more of Tum Tum Tum?
Yeah, you'll see Tum Tum Tum.
Tum Tum is a very important character of our universe.
We plan on growing it, but obviously we start with, you know, two because that's where
people fall in love with the brand and the characters first, and then we start expanding.
Yeah, that jacket right there.
Oh, this is what you were talking about, having?
But it specifically pops with that.
I think we're talking about the same one hybrid,
the one with the lumberjack, like the flapper hat.
You know the number on that one?
I don't have it up right now.
Yeah, I found it right here.
Shout out Babs, been rocking with us.
Shout out Island Advent, too.
These look dope. Can't wait to mint.
And all the colors just popped.
Like, they work so well together.
So, J.D., is this one of the ones where, like, you made it more likely that this jacket comes with, like,
this hot? Yeah, we made it female traits. So female traits, there's a set of color palettes that we went
with. So just so that there's variations, right? And this was one of them that kind of made it.
I'll still rock that jacket. Yeah. Yeah, no, I was like that. But yeah, there's there's just color
palettes that we kind of play around with. Obviously, you know, it's not going to be perfect,
right? But yeah, that's kind of like the idea.
Also, can we talk about the Letterman jackets?
Because who, I'm a sucker for a good nice.
Man, I'm a sucker for a jacket too.
Listen, that green, that green one?
Gambler, you didn't play no sports, man.
I actually, I played baseball.
I'm going to say nothing to you.
I see, no, I could see you playing baseball.
I played baseball through high school.
You know what that fits, yeah.
Yeah, yeah. I played soccer too. And then I did cross-country in college. It was worst semester in my life. Not zero out of ten recommend, but it was something. Where was I?
Yeah, I like that jacket.
Like coming up with a whole, like, category for female traits?
Like, what was that like?
Because that's not something you see too often in most NFD collections.
And how was it to actually pull it off?
Oh, actually what somebody was talking about.
It was mainly Erso and Razor and Erso's wife.
We wouldn't ask fast people on it.
They gave us ideas and we cracked them down because I suck.
Yeah, there's a bunch of traits.
But yeah, some didn't make it past QC either.
There was a crop top that we didn't really like.
Yeah, it did not look good.
And then there's, what else did I kind of QC?
There was a male one that we didn't like that we got rid of.
Yeah, I'll take a look and write maybe a thread on it.
I can't remember on top of my head.
I just remember the crop top was the one to be done.
Yeah, I could kind of see that.
Because, yeah, I don't know.
I think we kept one variation and then one variation within Lidavit.
Yeah, and like the whole purpose of this collection, you know, like a lot of the traits, we just, you know, we always had that mindset of, you know, is it going to look good on a toy, right?
Is it going to look good as a physical product, right?
So that everything that we kind of went through, especially during the QC is like we always took that first kind of like first approach as well to see if, you know, would these traits work with toys, right?
So it's one of the big things that we were looking at.
Yeah, which one do you guys like the most right now, like you get that you see that you want us to kind of like look, look and, you know, make a make our next version of our physical toy?
Not a toy, just more merchandise.
I told you, I'm the Snapback Shorty.
I want an OKD snapback real bad to add to the collection.
Yeah, actually, yeah, let's dive into that a little bit.
Well, hold on, I kind of want to answer his question, though.
I don't think I've ever seen like a toy, and I think it will resonate with an audience,
hoodie, I don't know, it's different.
I think that would do all right.
Scrunch hoodie for the one way.
That's my favorite trick.
Yeah, I think I'm starting to think that's kind of mine now.
Yeah, just really simple.
That's why the whole collection is very simple.
But the whole goal, right, was that we wanted to be simple.
But when you look into it and the details and the traits and different traits,
you're going to see the complexity behind every single thing, every single trait.
So that was the whole goal, right?
But the whole brand is very clean.
The whole brand is very minimal.
We don't want to overcomplicate things.
And then that starts with the NFTs.
I would have to say if you, toy-wise, since you do have the keto, I feel like, I feel like Tum-Tum would be, you know, something.
I would collect that over...
Keto. I don't know. Something about
Tum-Tum and I've seen some of
the gifts that are going around,
you know, the butt shaking and all that stuff.
I don't know. I just feel like if you
put a little, I don't know, how you make you.
Yeah, plus you would be good at Tum-Tum.
I like that Snoopy reference, too.
That's always been the idea.
No, like, yeah, TomTom is our Snoopy.
And, you know, keto is, you know, more, it's a different type of audience that we're kind of targeting,
especially if it comes to, like, you know, physical products, whether that be toys, right?
Like, you know, we won't make TomTom a vinyl toy, right?
That's something that we won't quite pursue with that row.
But with keto, yes, right?
More of kind of the, you know, art designer toy, um,
route that we're taking with that.
So it's kind of like a different type of audience space
Bab says, will we eventually do stickers?
Like physical stickers or like stickers or like stickers
I think she was talking about,
I think she's talking about physical, but...
Yeah, we're definitely going to be doing them.
Those are quite easy to do, right?
So, I mean, you know, if you get a little hand, if you get the golden ticket and you get the physical keto, right, you're going to be a little bit more goodies inside too.
Bab says physical stickers for water bottles.
No Tum-Tum-Toy, sad face.
Oh, okay. Say less. Beautiful. We are almost at the top of the hour. We should have cats in here soon enough. All of you are more than welcome to stick around while we grill her and help me grill her. Again, she's been a part of the community forever, but she's just all over the place. So, you know, she's not going to be.
I'm just glad, gee, you got her on during the daytime and not the nighttime hour. Why? Oh, so we could be here?
Yeah, cats after dark, you know.
I love Katz so much, bro.
Like, she is literally one of my favorite people.
I was going to say, could you go over a golden ticket again?
Because I know some people probably just popped in.
I actually had it up over here.
I actually got to drop off.
I appreciate you, brother.
And then we're going to do another giveaway too shortly before Katz gets in here.
Because we're going to do one every hour if you missed that.
Oh, it's in the, it's in the ticker at the bottom, too.
OKD giveaway every single hour.
Make sure you're like in the stream retweeting it.
I'm not too active on Twitter right now,
but I'll jump over there and check that shortly.
But in regards to the golden ticket,
there are 200 of these things.
If you've minted or if you got on pre-sale,
you do have an opportunity to earn a golden ticket.
Shout out to the homie Akila,
who has been in the community for a minute,
I'm really happy to see this go to somebody
who's just as active as he is.
And this is what you'll see.
It's has been successful.
And it says, shush, you've also won a golden ticket.
This soulbound token will be AirDrop Postman and can be used later to claim a physical collectible for free.
And the model that we do have right now.
Well, this is actually a sneak peek of the box.
I mean, you can see KT, you and me are both about quality.
And you can see the weight.
Yeah, we already know the quality is going to be great.
Like even with the free merch that we got, right?
Like, I mean, it's undeniable that we know we're not going to get a shabby product.
Yeah, I'm not going to lie. I still have the t-shirt hanging up. I have not worn it. It's just so, it's
too good of quality. I'm like, all right, I got to, I got to just put it on. But I've worn the
hoodie plenty of times. And, but the shirt, I'm like, that's for when I'm going to step out and
do something, you know? When I'm back in the bay, that hoodie literally is like an
Like it's heavy, you know, I can't get over.
I need heavy weighted gear merch in general,
whether it would be my T-shirts is Kirkland.
If you know, you know, Kirkland T's.
You know what I'm saying?
Kirkland T's are the ones.
And the free merch that KT's referencing is from the Pooks days.
This team just gives and delivers, you know what I'm saying?
So they gave out free merge to some of the top active folks in the community.
All you had to do was pay shipping, and it was quality.
And so, KT, you got a hoodie and a T-shirt?
Because people snoozed, and I appreciate all of y'all that snoozed.
And I just caught the ping in Discord, and I was like, please.
And got my little, hey, you've been approved.
Go ahead and go to this website.
And got that thing in there.
And yeah, when it came, I'm like, even the packaging,
you could tell even with the pack, like, the box you just showed.
Like, there's no detail, no corner left on turn.
everything is just so well thought out. And that's why I didn't expect anything less from the
collection either. Like you could just tell there was so much pride up and like put into it. No corner
on turn. Like all these traits. Like I'm still looking at things and I'm seeing all the like the,
you know how we had like the animal hats in the Pooks collection? Like seeing animal hats like
I see, I think it's a bull. I'm not going to click on it because I saw another one that I was really with like the koala.
And I'm like, bro, like these hats are, I would rock one of these hats out in public.
Like a little koala pook's hat. I'm like, oh my goodness, this is amazing.
But yeah, there's just so many different traits and you're going to be getting quality whatever OKD is doing.
I'm hoping I get a golden ticket.
But listen, I might be having to, you know, going secondary.
Hopefully somebody wants to sell that and we figure out a deal or something.
But, yeah, I'm super excited just to see all the things coming down the pipeline for OKD.
So, JD, for folks who aren't lucky and don't get a golden ticket,
How are they going to, is there a chance for them to get their hands on one of these toys?
First drop, we might put some up for sale, but not.
And then the second drop will have more option.
But then the first drop you can do, there will be a way, it will be a system in place to get it.
And then there will be giveaways, raffles, whatever, so on and so forth.
There's going to be opportunities.
So the alpha is like KT just did.
Make sure you have notifications on for the Discord.
Make sure you're in the Discord.
Make sure you're following OKD on Twitter.
Make sure you have notifications on for JD because JD loves to do spaces.
And he loves to give Alpha that he doesn't give other places on spaces as well.
You can grill JD, I swear.
You can get him to spill some beans.
And we got an extra golden.
Actually, oh, I haven't given out any golden tickets.
Okay, we have two to give away.
And I also have to give out another OKD.
For the, yeah, for the last hour.
With the last hour, KT, keeping me honest.
We got Eddie, who's going to be joining us with Miss Brittany in 30 minutes,
talking traditional finance, stocks, how we can make bread,
and really just be responsible outside of this Web 3 casino,
as much as we do love it here.
But he also has, he's a professional...
when it comes to packaging.
I'm just, I'm trying to get us back to this original screen.
But yeah, we're going to have Eddie here soon as Britney.
Okay, so let's do a giveaway.
JD, how do I add a screen share?
I deleted it earlier because I wanted to.
Oh, right here, I got it.
I got it. I got it. I got it. I know the thing.
I know the thing. I know the thing.
Okay. So we're back on, we're back on this one.
I'm not doing any more squats.
I want it to be, I want it to be chat related.
We're going to do a giveaway.
Well, I did, you know, you guys know, Keto and Tumtum.
He did say he took a lap.
He took a lap and he's back.
Maybe we saved that for a little later, though,
because we're actually going to be doing the meme.
Like, we're going to be going over it.
And I want to give people a minute to actually, like, make, you know,
But I'm definitely going to be playing.
And Dad, Bob, you've been cooking with the meme generator as well.
Actually, I can jump over there and we can...
I honestly actually just made the stickers.
I haven't really used the meme generated too much.
I made the stickers on my iPhone.
Like, if you take a screenshot and then you go to your images,
you can, like, hold down on a still object.
That's like a clear object,
and you can make stickers on your iPhone.
And then I take those stickers,
and I just add them on some cool pictures.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, that, like, if I see a vibey, like, Tokyo picture,
I'll be like, all right, Tom Tom Tum belongs there.
One of the tips that JD shared with this was like putting your prompts in like a chat GPT to like have AI, AI, the AI type vibes.
No, that's a really good tip.
So again, what KT just said, and we're going to go over all of this.
a little bit later when we actually dive into it, but I just sent myself the link so I could open it here.
But if you have like a favorite meme, which all of us, if you don't have a favorite meme, like,
how do you not have a favorite meme?
But if you have one, you can take that image and you can upload it into your favorite AI,
whether that be ChiGBT or GROC or I'm sure there's a bunch of others,
and literally ask it to give you a prompt.
And then feed that prompt to the meme.
Yeah, and then copy, paste that and feed it into the AI generator.
So when we say AI generator, I'm going to pull that up right here.
And we can go through actually like, it's great.
If you haven't been there yet, right?
Oh, I just docks all my DMs, didn't I? Okay, well, fair enough.
Okay, well, fair enough. This is the AI meme generator. Log me in. Thank you.
Okay, boom. And you just come here. If anybody wants the link, I mean, just let me know, but it's literally just meme deck.xyZ. Oh, I stopped sharing my screen when I wanted to.
Here you go. One second. So it's meme deck.xy z. Don't mind my crazy, wacky organizing of this screen right now. We're just going to, we're just going to roll with it. But meme deck.xy z.
And you can come up here and just put keto.
Should come up very quickly.
And you can come here and this is all the pre.
And look, it auto generates a random prompt for you.
If you don't like this one, you can use the keys and it will just, I don't know how to do this for my desktop.
But I know on my phone I can just keep scrolling and it'll keep giving you new
generations of random prompts.
But this is what people have already created.
JD worked hard behind the scenes.
Oh, and you're seeing, look, sometimes you got to play with it.
So there's going to be like a bunch of these because I was working to get it to get the hands
Like I really liked this one, but it just kept messing up the hands.
So AI still isn't perfect with the hands yet.
So sometimes you got to play with it.
But if you just keep generating the same prompt over and over again,
it will spit out different ones.
And this is everything that people have been making, right?
And then like the morning routine guy.
So again, I mean, we can make one right now if we want.
Let's see. Oh, I need to do a giveaway.
All right. What do we want to do? What do we want to do?
We're going to do a meme contest later.
Ed Money said he used an app called Jif slash Jif.
Bab says how to make the sticker.
Ed Money says you can use an app called JifJif.
Oh, you can count chat comments.
Yeah, Babs has been pretty active.
Babs has been, all right.
That'd be my pick, to be honest.
Oh, so you just want to, you just want to just straight give it.
I'm asking questions, good questions.
We're just going to give it to Babs.
Babs, you have won an OKD.
You are a second winner on this historic.
live stream mint experience that we are doing here.
Babs, go ahead and send over your sole wallet.
And I will make sure that the boys send over an OKD.
And I will cross my fingers and hope that it is a bubbles.
But I cannot make any guarantees.
If they sent you a bubbles off the rip, that would be actually, that would be the easiest thing in the world for you, huh?
Just Babs, yeah, no problem.
I'm not mad at that at all.
And what was I going to do?
Say no after you suggested it?
No, I'm not going to say no.
And we have still two golden.
We got prizes, but let's be.
I mean, maybe the golden ticket, you got to have a okay DPFP.
You got to have an okay DPFP.
Let me go follow the rules.
Yeah, I could just give it to you, right?
I'm going to give it to KT.
Absolutely is going to get one of these golden tickets.
We need to make sure that she gets.
And I know you're going to hold the down.
Listen, you already know.
And this is what I'll do.
If I end up getting air dropped one, I'll do a giveaway of one of one of my tickets.
One golden ticket to miss.
This is when I just wish I just had a million to give away.
I don't want to keep going.
I just want to keep going.
We'll pause on the giveaways.
Pause on the giveaways for now.
But boom, we give, so our first winner was hype.
Man, our first winner was hype.
Yeah, over one, one squat.
Okay, look, here's a question.
And we got J.D. here with us.
Sundro Meda says, if there is any up for grabs for public.
Can you tell me why should I mint?
J.D., I'll throw this one over to you.
I already know what you're going to say.
Because you fuck with the brand, because you fuck with the brand, because you like the community,
or a vision although there are going to be opportunities that can potentially come our way
but that's our main focus our main focus is to grow okay d as a brand that's going to be built out
by the community for the community which means that we're going to be growing in different
multiple venues on our website there's there's a bunch of stuff that we have listed down and
there's a bunch of products that we have and the reason why you should meet is number one you
should love the characters and number two you like what we're doing and then number three
You know that we're not going to be here for a long term.
And if you like it, you like it.
Boom. Hopefully that answers your question. Friend, Sandra Ometta, we really appreciate you being here, stopping by the stream. Also, speaking of people being here, 2,430 sets of eyeballs have stopped by to see me, us hang out, but to see me lose a squat competition.
To see KT win a golden ticket live, to see Babs win an OKD live, to see hype win an OKD live,
to hear from the founders, to hear from the real, real community, Dad Bob, KT, Thomas, Elfi, hybrid, Coke in here just to get on my head, which I wouldn't have it any other way.
Sandra Meda says magnet and thumbs up.
We appreciate you, friend.
So she must be running around doing some important cat stuff.
But hopefully she can join us later.
In 14 minutes, we will be having the legends Eddie and Brittany jumping on.
Looking forward to having them join the stream.
I love listening to Eddie and Brittany, man.
If you're not following Eddie and Brittany yet,
They have been live streaming.
They are educating the people on financial literacy, again, on just like outside of even just this Web3 space, which we love Web 3.
But there are other ways to create opportunity for yourself as well.
And some of them are often, you know, a little bit safer and less volatile, which can be a good thing as much as we love the volatility.
Yeah, that one, Rally Dude 555.
That's the OKD, the one with the green Hawaiian shirt I was talking about earlier.
The comment you just penned, the PFP?
I wish I can get a bigger look at it.
Do you have a number or no?
Green Hawaiian shirt. It's going to be number 4-8779.
4-879. Boom. Look at the quality on this.
I'm so saying. Like, look at that.
Like, I would rock that. I would rock that shirt.
That's so good. It's like, you can zoom in on this stuff and it looks really good.
JD, how hard was it? I mean, this doesn't really apply on this one.
But how hard was it during like quality control to make sure that like, and you guys probably did this before quality control.
Quality control I met and was like the last thing.
But to make sure that like everything layered appropriately and how you wanted it to.
Yeah, it took a lot of time.
I don't think it was like a matter of difficulties.
It's more so a matter of time.
Yeah, making sure that we look into each of them.
And then obviously there's mistakes and we just adjust.
I think from past collections, there were learnings from there.
Like the note that he made about how, like, hats can't go with certain eyewear, right?
And the layering for that.
I think we learned from them mistakes, more so from JD from, like, when we did QA previously with a proofs collection.
We noticed that issue, and then we had to, like, do some adjustments.
So experience definitely helps.
I'm not sure why my camera is going haywire right now, but I should have that back and up shortly.
Sundromeda says how many one of ones are there?
There's super rare traits that only appear like five or ten times.
So that's basically the way that we're approaching one of ones is we're doing more trait-wise rather than actual one-on-ones.
I think one-on-ones create...
Yeah, this separation between those guys and the rest of the collection, in my opinion, for a lot of projects.
I really like products that take the approach of more base.
Like, for example, doodles.
They have, like, these golden base.
Like, we have, like, the bubble traits, right?
Bubble base, bubble Mona will be the most rare.
And then there's also, like, the onesies that you guys see, like the bubble bath and all those ones.
So it should be fun for those.
I mean, and I guess technically they're all...
one of ones technically right because there's no doubles i mean there's not meaning double but i guess
when when people say one of one in nfts they mean like those whatever the but you guys did a good
job kind of distributing those rare traits throughout as well yeah sorry what was this what was
inspiration behind the ice cream one bro that one is so out of pocket like the whole ice cream cone
The whole vibe, it's odd kids playground, what the whole theme around it.
We did a lot of clouds, a lot of food base, like, you know, gummy bears, just fun, fun
little traits that we can kind of insert.
We have like these gummy bears glasses that basically is just normal glasses, but in the
color of a gummy bear in the bubbles.
So we just kind of play with that theme and we just went along.
Like, okay, ice cream, cotton candy.
So we just kind of played around with that whole theme.
And then the whole, the ice cream was just, we wanted a onesie.
We wanted an ice cream onezy.
And then we started with just the onesie.
And then we're like, you know what?
J.D., I'm going to jump out real quick and come back to see if that helps my camera.
I'll be around answering questions and hang out.
Well, I was actually going to ask you, J.D. I don't know if you've answered this in a previous space before, but what is, like, what does odd mean to you? Because obviously, if you probably know me a little bit now, I'm odd, right? So when you said odd kids, I was already sold.
Right? Because, like, that's what I'm looking for. I'm an odd individual. I was that kid that sat with the odd kids. Like, we were the outcast, the, you know, the, that was us. Like, that was being odd. If you were odd, you could come to my crib and you'd be accepted, right? So essentially, that's how I viewed odd kids. Like, you're, it's for, it's more group for kids that are, that maybe the odd ones out. You know, so I'm wondering if that aligns with.
how you view odd kids and how you view how are you odd i guess is the question i'm asking uh yeah
it's exactly what you said the way that we view it is is odd is defined by just being yourself right
being everyone is unique everyone is odd in their own way so that's that's really the whole meaning
behind it even from what we're doing right now right right
You don't see a lot of people do building, building out businesses, building out projects, inspiring people, building out these characters, right?
It's a very odd thing to do.
So, like, we have three individuals here that are our kids at heart, and we're odd in our own ways, and we're doing odd stuff together with odd people.
So that's the whole vibe, right?
This is basically pretty ordinary odd kids.
kind of like this word where we use it
Like you're such an idiot,
And we kind of brought it over
Played around with it, obviously, Pooks, identity we wanted to stay.
And so we kind of removed the pretty ordinary.
And then Odd Kids was born.
And we kept identity the same.
It's just the branding is a little different.
And then even from our characters, right, like Hito and TomTom, they're super odd.
The way they interact, the way their personalities are.
And so, yeah, that's the whole key element and our core identity right there.
And we just kind of branch it off from there.
Sorry, quick note before.
Yeah, just verification is live.
I'm pretty sure it auto verifies since you guys already connected.
But yeah, you guys should have your role on Discord.
But I'll push out an update.
But yeah, go ahead with what?
I just blanked completely what I was going to ask.
It'll be ADHD and the odd.
Yeah, no, I mean, in general, I think that that's how I kind of see it.
I think also like the, oh yeah, I remember what I was going to ask now, Tum Tum.
So obviously Tum Tum, the beloved character, you have a lot of ideas of,
do you have an idea of like a voice in mind for Tum Tum?
Like, do you hear it in your head?
Let's turn that question back to you actually.
I hear like, because obviously odd,
like I hear a really like devious fucked up little kid.
you know like kids trunks,
you know, like remember that kind of aura,
That's how I hear it and see it in my head.
but then he puts on a mischievous face
and does like fucked up shit, right?
It's funny because we are producing these,
We call it kind of like short form cartoons, but obviously not, but more towards like more teenager and adults.
So we're actually, we're in contact with voice actors right now.
And the way you describe Tom Tom's voice is exactly how we described it to the voice actor.
And we're producing episodes right now.
It hasn't been released yet, but we're transitioning some of our content into more of that to really tell a story.
Like the current content is fun.
and it gets eyeballs, but we really want to tap into how do people fall in love with these characters?
And for one is adding voices, adding more personalities, adding more interactions.
So we're going to start producing that.
pretty soon yeah and it's about like uh yeah he's in charge of it touching touching touching on what jd
just said too right like um we have different content pillars right especially when it comes to our
web two side right so um you know the videos that we're doing right now right it gets it gets it
gets it you know we clearly see that people love the character uh they love um they love tom tom
they love keto um but you know how can we kind of you know sort exploring different avenues to
more diehard fan base outside of this NFT, outside of the Web 3 space, and then in the traditional Web 2 space, right? It's
It's a, and it's a challenge, right?
And, you know, not every single brand will be able to achieve that, right?
You know, I know building an IP within Web3 has, you know, a lot of projects are doing it, right?
But, you know, is there a product market fit, right?
Do people love the characters?
Or people resonate with the brand, you know, odd kids, OKD.
You know, there was so much thought coming in because, you know, building the brand, building
the messaging is, you know, we have an idea of what we want to convey the brand to be, but
the hardest part is showing people, right?
So, you know, you saying, you know, how you envision Tumtum to sound like is it's kind of like,
you know, bringing us more confidence on like, you know, that we're slowly doing that.
Like we're slowly showing people how the brand feels like.
And that's like, I think the hardest thing to achieve with building any brand is getting people, you know, getting, you know, getting,
you know, people to really resonate on what we're trying to convey.
And what we want to make them feel and how to get that messaging out is the hardest part.
Well, that's dope because, I mean, it came, it, it, it,
showed me that naturally, right?
Obviously, I don't talk to any of you guys,
and you guys were able to,
obviously I'm, like, in the chats and stuff,
but I was able to pick up that vibe
because I just, obviously, I love Tum Tum
the most out of every, the IP in general
So, and I'm a dad of Dottas.
So, like, that's going to be their thing.
You know, they always pick the cute stuff
and whatever I'm, you know what I'm saying?
If I'm watching a TV show,
they want to identify with, like, the cute character.
and I'm reping my okay D, they're going to be over there playing with with Tom Tom, you know what I'm
saying? So I love to hear that. You know what I'm saying? And also I want to, I want to say that
Tom Tom Tom itself has its own like, uh,
like storyline that brings it into okay d and i think from my view that seems like what you guys are
trying to do even on ticot like fall in love with that character then you're hearing the voices
then you're seeing it all and then they come here and they see a community built around it and um
That's again, that's why I minted.
I'm not minting things right now.
Like I minted that specific aspect right there.
I'm like, I'm interested in that.
So no, I'm really, it's, it's crazy because like, you know, like, you know,
IP brands have such, you know, really foster and developed IP brands have such a big
right, where, you know, right now there isn't really like a,
I guess, like an avenue for them to like connect and talk
and maybe except for outside like a, you know,
maybe a Facebook page, right?
But who, like Facebook group, right?
But who uses those nowadays?
So like, you know, our idea is to kind of like
you really bring that Web 3 community of, you know,
you meeting your friends,
meaning your meetups to also the web two collectors, like, you know, the traditional web two collector space, right?
And, you know, hopefully we can kind of introduce that same feeling that it's kind of, we feel like it's a missing piece in that market right now where, you know, there's all these collectors collecting Snoopy, right?
But, you know, they don't really get a chance to kind of interact with each other on a scale that, you know, Web3 allows, allows us to do.
Great questions, Dad Bob, and actually inspired me.
Let's go ahead and pitch that question to the chat.
We'll do our third giveaway a little bit early.
We don't have to wait for the top of the hour.
What does it being an odd kid mean to you?
We'll give it five minutes or so for folks to go ahead and answer that question.
And while y'all do that...
I think the idea, hold on, I want to touch on this real quick.
I think the idea of allowing kids and adults to come value that we are all odd and unique.
This is an amazing message and could be healing.
She says, I'm a holistic coach.
And this is more of what our world needs.
You're so well-spoken, Babs.
And of course, right on time.
Oh, Katz is he, Katz, how long have you been?
Okay, I'm like, there's no way.
Okay, well, we got all the homies here.
It's going to be a party.
We're going to make it work.
We got Miss Katz here with us, the lovely Miss Katz.
And we also have Eddie and Brittany, all honorable guests,
joining us on this OKD Mitt live stream.
My friends, my homies, thank you so much for taking some time.
I'm going to say hi to Katz Fertz Katz.
How are you doing, family? Happy Wednesday.
Happy Wednesday. Well, I haven't been in one of this in a minute, whether it's on spaces or this live broadcast.
Let's see a few friendly faces. I want to see, hello, Katie.
A few new faces here, so I'm not going to lie.
But I'm really happy to be here.
I just got back from New York from DAS last week.
I've definitely been on three different time zones.
So I'm the only one in the whole world who doesn't know what UTCs.
You don't know the UTC time zone?
I am learning. It's very important today. Yeah, no. But I know a few. I mean, I know, I mean, I guess I know the basic ones. I know like, obviously I know ETC. I know West Coast. I know CTC. And yeah, that's it. I know the basic ones. I need to become more culture. That's why I have you guys around so that I can educate myself.
but we'll get there we'll get there cats i appreciate you being here we do have um eddie and
brittany here with us as well who are my favorite quants when it comes to the traditional stocks and
and just, you know, bettering yourself in the space.
I mean, it's like it's nice to see content on my timeline that isn't all crypto related.
You know, I like to Djan. I love the casino.
But you guys do a really good job of reminding us that there are other opportunities.
in many ways, better opportunities.
And some of these stocks that you guys call out, I mean, they're moving.
We say they're less volatile, but they're moving sometimes, you know, 10, 15, 5, 10, 15%
I mean, and they're much safer.
You know, Robin Hood isn't going anywhere.
Tesla isn't going anywhere.
Microstrategic isn't going away.
And you guys are just educating me on the streaming thing, too.
I'm still freaking learning, learning how all this stuff works.
And you guys just got it down pat.
Brittany, Eddie, how are y'all doing?
Thank you for being here.
Yo, Ro, thank you so much for hosting us.
Dude, you guys are killing it, man.
We've been tuned into the stream all morning.
I know it's tough trying to set up when you first get going.
But, you know, once you're there, keep it set up and just press play.
But no, thanks for the, I mean, thanks for the cool introduction.
Obviously, our, our path actually started with stocks and then we got into crypto and kind of just went back to traditional finance.
Overall, I think there's just so much underlying that like common denominators between the two.
And I think that like overall, like people can learn a lot just from being in both spaces.
You have an advantage is what I'm trying to say.
If you hang out in traditional finance and you know about crypto and stuff, you have an advantage over the old heads.
And vice versa. If you're in crypto and you're at places where these guys are not, you have an advantage as well.
Also, when Tradify markets are in a free fall, you can turn to crypto. It's a little bit nicer. And usually they do play off of each other. So it's nice to have that portfolio diversification. It feels good on those red days.
Yeah, people want to say that stocks are a lot safer, but it still hurts your soul seeing your net worth drop.
even 15%. I know crypto guys got balls of still and it kind of goes you can 50% drops.
You guys are okay with that. But I would say even on our end, like we like Robin Hood,
the stock and that moves in tandem with Bitcoin. It moves in tandem with the market.
So yes, there is an underlying business there and there's revenue coming in, but it's still
like the market is the market and it's going to do what it does in the short term.
But yeah, I mean, it's pretty volatile as well.
So you got to kind of be a kind of got to be prepped with the crypto spirit to enjoy a stock like that.
But obviously, this is where the money is made.
This is, you know, without risk, no rewards.
So in this volatile, if you bought that dip on hood or if you bought one on.
all these things were just crashing.
It felt like the markets were in a free fall.
I'm up at least 20% on some of those dips that I bought.
I established an Nvidia position.
I added to my hood position.
And all of that has just been returned like,
times 10 in what three weeks three weeks like nothing yeah it's been it's been a wild first quarter of the
year but uh happy to be hanging out with you guys for sure this is a refreshing like cat said that we
haven't done one of these in a minute it's been uh it's been a minute yeah it's been so happy to join
old friends and new friends too
Well, it's great having you guys.
And like I said, both of you guys, favorite accounts to follow.
I know you guys recently created this hood retail account.
Tell us about this and how it's going and what the inspiration was behind it.
Yeah, we just started our 24-hour hood retail show.
We've been doing some live trying to get...
We did 28 days, 28 videos for the month of February.
We just talk about Robin Hood and retail investing.
so similar to bag pumping like community spaces and you know we're like trying to talk about a project
youtube is where that is really happening for the chat-fi positions yeah and i and i would i would just
echo on that too it's like one of the biggest common denominators is community and that's your
um in stocks like you see you can see it with Tesla like people who just think about Tesla they're
like yeah that's an electric car company you know but investors see it as like a robotics company
an electric solar like there's just a different mindset when you become an investor and I think
the community is really like power some stuff there so um
Yeah, I mean, overall, like, I just want to echo that even more.
It's like I think I learned more about community in the crypto space and, you know,
putting that over to traditional finance. And I mean, you see it in a Reddit form. You see it in
these random stocks. I think X really became the place where it all comes together because you would
have to go to Reddit. You would have to find where the cult communities are. But since X and since
spaces, it's really turned so many of these amazing companies have cult followings because of
these bag pumping spaces. I don't want to call back.
punctun spaces, but because of these hype spaces that people are learning about the project,
the brand company, and they're getting interested, they're getting on board, then obviously
that all equates the price going up when people buy in. So it's exciting times for both retail
and defy, trap-fi, everything is just, it's an exciting time to be here. Yeah, thanks for showing the,
new that new Twitter or X account that we started.
We mostly post all of the content on YouTube.
So it's just, it's actually a live,
it's actually a video show that streams live on Thursdays still on X.
mostly everything is on YouTube.
And we gotta do better making the,
venture from YouTube to X because we have been lacking on our ex presence as of late,
but it takes a lot to get the YouTube channel back and going.
Well, look, you guys, look, you know, I did it right.
I didn't have to click the subscribe button.
I've seen you guys, look at this.
And so like I love that you mentioned community.
Obviously, this is a live stream celebrating the OKD live mince.
I know you guys are more.
And like that's where we connected, right?
So like I got the pleasure of meeting you guys through the Loud Punks community, which KT just, you know, she mentioned a little bit earlier.
Loud Punks to this day has to be.
as played out as the word utility is at this point,
it's just the most utility you can get for any JPEG, right?
It really is because I'm looking at my portfolio.
It is probably my only, my only JPEG still providing utility like that,
that would I signed up for.
What you signed up for them.
So it's, for those of you don't know, Loud Punk's NFT is the official NFT of the Rolling Loud Music Festival.
If you know anything about music festivals, you've heard of it before.
And they dropped, man, time flies like two, three years ago at this point.
It's two years ago, yeah.
2,500 piece collection roughly,
and every single JPEG gets you lifetime VIP access
to every, I mean, it sounds crazy, fucking say it.
Lifetime VIP access to every single rolling loud
all around the world forever.
It started with eight shows.
It turned into three shows now a year.
i mean it is what it is like you really paid for some access to a festival and it's it's everything
everybody wanted in the crypto space as far as like something that mattered that actually got
you in where there wasn't any like gatekeeping no like secret party that you had to like
know somebody to get into it was just like you buy the token you get access and you you can
kind of like count it out you're like oh if i spent 2,500 on a mint
and a VIP ticket is $800.
You're like, roughly after three shows,
I'm pretty much good, right?
But simple math like that gets you excited
because then you start meeting friends.
I know I had some of our friends from Loud Punks.
I'm sorry, you couldn't make it bro,
but I had some friends that came out to the wedding.
And we've had business deals with some of those friends as well.
We've also had some of those people enjoy our NFT events when we would hold them in New York, too.
So the community part is just all, it just echoes through everything.
You're like, you find these people, you become friends, like real friends,
and you end up trusting them more than you're like trusting these people who get paid to do these jobs.
You're trusting people who put their money where their mouth is.
So when it comes to JPEGs, obviously you guys are all over the place and have experience on the traditional side, on the crypto side.
And JPEGs, you know, we're not, we may or may not see anything like we saw in 2021 ever again.
But I'm a big, I'm a big community guy.
And this is a testament to it too, right?
Having you guys here, having Ms. Katz here, like, what is something that makes JPEG's
valuable in 2025. I mean, you're still holding your loud punks. Loudfunks is easy, right? But like,
what is what's the use case for NFTs in 2025? What, what can they still bring to the table to make
people's lives better than they were before or at least add some value?
I think you need to have utility with IRL.
When 2021, that it was so amazing because it was where you're finding community after being locked in your house, being isolated from everyone.
So it was like, oh, this is my place.
And it was a different feeling.
Now people are back outside.
They want that IRL connection or a physical commodity.
Something they can touch, something they can feel.
Well, I'm trying to think, what is that project that Max was a part of?
They gave you the discount on the clothing, so you got to get that with the, you know,
you have some kind of perks, either clothing,
shoe, artifact had the shoes with Nike.
Those kinds of projects, doodles, obviously.
Doodles are still pushing with McDonald's.
companies that are already established,
I think that's going to be huge with partnerships right now.
having something a deliverable,
something you can experience,
I think those communities are going to make you right now.
anything you'd like to add there?
if you want to take anything away from it, I would take just even just a simple factor of the
technology of tokenizing things. Ironically, I mean, my real thesis is that stable coins will bring
back Ethereum. And so it's like, it's kind of crazy to be like, oh, we were jumping off of
Fiat to be in these decentralized contracts. And.
And now we would be basically going back to Ethereum to use these stable coins.
And I think stable coins introduce a lot of power to the world, not to people in the United States because we have so much good access to U.S. dollars, but more so into other economies that don't have access to U.S. dollars.
And I think the stable coins will really...
really like ramp up over the next couple years.
There's only like two major ones right now,
USDT who don't really operate in US and USC,
which is owned by Coinbase and Circle.
But yeah, I would say the tokenization,
just that technology, that simple technology
of what you would do to how you like tokenize an NFT,
that right there will be useful in the future.
maybe in private equity, maybe in like predicted markets, which just came live at Robin Hood.
But yeah, I just think, yeah, just tokenization just for sure.
And I think a lot of that is going to be integrated with the U.S.
global dollar network through Paxos.
Robin Hood just became a partner,
Krakken just became a partner with them.
Once we see that more rolled out in the states,
like a lot of APAC countries have already accepted it,
adopted it, and they're utilizing it,
countries that don't have access to US dollars.
But once we can yield off of stable coins again,
and you get paid for contributing to the network,
we're going to have a big boom in crypto.
Yeah, NFTs will come back after that.
Yeah, you just need this regulation, though, but you can't even hold, you can't even hold a stable coin in yield just by holding it.
But that happens in other countries right now.
So it's like this type of technology exists and they're not offering it to us.
But once that becomes available, you'll be able to tokenize valuable stuff again like NFTs.
People who know, no, and you can't deny it.
But unfortunately, I think it's something that folks, you know,
that are maybe more on the D-Gen side.
I say that with love, including myself.
aren't as excited or you really aren't paying attention to stable coins.
It's like, what the heck is a stable?
It's a stable coin, right?
But yield is something easy that people can understand.
And also just liquidity is something that we can understand, right?
And when you have, if you look at the market cap of stable coins, that chart,
like it's like that chart and the Bitcoin dominance chart have been like the best charts of the last.
you know, whatever, two months or whatever. And it's up into the right, stable coins, up into the
right. And so what that does for, you know, even if you're not as interested in the stable
coins, it's bringing liquidity to the market. It's, it's people opening up a crypto bank account,
you know, whatever and making that reserve available to them so that when they do see an
opportunity, whether it be it Bitcoin or that next NFT mint or whatever, it's, it's,
it's opening up that ecosystem, that much more, right?
And then yield is easy to understand, right?
It's like, reminds me of the Celsius days before we got absolutely regrettable.
Alex Machinsky, but everything that we were promised, you know, you can borrow against your
Bitcoin, you can, you have like, you can leverage your stable coins, you're yielding, you can
self-custody or you can earn on it. All of that that we thought we would be able to, you know,
get a piece of this innovation is, I think we'll be seeing that actually happen very soon this
Yeah, I'm looking forward to. And you mentioned IRL, right? So I'm really happy we have Katz here.
Katz is like one of my favorite people in the space. And every community that she's a part of, she makes better.
We have Bren in the chat saying, BeFriends is doing a great job with the IRL experiences and physical stuff.
That's where me and Katz had the opportunity to connect. Katz built takeover IRL, started off in VFriends. Now it has just...
exploded. She's working with Forbes. She's working with all these... Nolcha in Miami.
I mean, her events make it impossible for me to miss any IRL. And when I do, it's always like
Not that I missed the conference, not that I missed anything else.
And if you see me at any of these IRL things, like, what are you doing?
I'm like, I'm going to be moving around, but I'm going to go to Katz's thing.
Like Katz's thing is at the top of my list.
So Katz, it's an honor to be in every single community that I'm in with you.
And I appreciate you always showing love in terms of just opening up the doors to the pooks, to the eclipse community, to obviously the V friends community.
You, like, what is it like to be able to create so much of the value that people who are part of these NFT communities enjoy?
Because like that IRL component, like Brittany was just touching on it.
Like, none of this would be the same.
I don't know if I would be nearly as passionate about this space if it wasn't for that IRL component.
And you just do such a good job of putting it together.
Like, what does that mean to you?
And like, what can you tell us about that?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Well, before he keeps going, I want to say,
Pat, thank for that last V-Friends event.
It was great to connect with you there.
Thank you so much for hosting that.
That was just so much fun.
Yeah, thank you so much for the kind words, everyone.
And thanks for all of this.
You know, my heart is filled with gratitude.
Of course, like, I've been doing this for a minute.
I moved to the United States right at the cusp of COVID and found a new passion.
And it was very, very, it's not been easy, obviously, to run a business in the events sector.
It comes with its challenges.
But the most rewarding part is, and I almost say this as a reference to the restaurant,
the kitchen is always chaotic.
But what is beautiful is when you go out to the restaurant is people just smiling, having a good time and making those memorable moments.
And those moments are something that bring people closer.
We've been able to throw experiential elements through and through, which has been incredible.
And that's what I really strive on.
I knew very quickly that this is not Web 2, this is Web 3,
and communities at the forefront of everything.
And if we can empower community through great IRL experiences,
through great experiences, through memorable meetups,
then we can signify a very solid process.
community bond and that will take any community and any friendship to the next level.
And I'm happy to say now that it's been three years, specifically last year alone, we've done 18 years.
plus global events for almost 26,000 people around the world.
And we're officially growing and building in this space.
And we have become even more dedicated towards what we do.
We've become more focused.
what works, what doesn't work.
And the idea is not just your code and code doing X, Y, Z, wherever.
It comes with a lot of planning and understanding that,
oh, this works at a token, or this works at a Denver,
or this works at a Bitcoin conference.
And that's really been our forefront is understanding what to execute where and for who.
And we have been able to build an incredible...
I mean, just I think footwork, thanks, Papo.
Just of what we've done, and the reason why it's been different is because people like who support us and show up.
I always feel like nothing's ever one-sided, right?
I mean, we grow because you support us to show us the love and you come and enjoy.
So we hope to keep doing that for 2025.
And we're going to token.
And I always bring the alpha to Eklos and to Gambler's spaces.
We're going big. We're always looking for the next thing.
People always ask me, like, Cas's like, where do you find these venues and where do you come up with these ideas?
And the honest to God truth is, if I went to a new country and if I wanted to hang out with my homie,
and I wanted to have a really good friend, where would I pull up?
And so we've kind of just pivoted and navigated towards those venues and those execution,
because why should people in Web 2 have all the fun?
You know, we in Web 3 can also have elevated premium experiences.
So we were just trying to head that way.
And so for token, we're going to have an opening party in Dubai.
This will be our second takeover in Dubai.
Hopefully this time with no flood or rain.
And we're very excited with the programming.
We're going to have some announcements come through here next week.
But if you are around, please come say hello.
And so it sounds like you've done an event in Dubai before already.
Yeah, so we were at Amazonico.
Last year, we did a rooftop party with Atamoka brands, Forbes.
We had a bunch of other partners, Samurai Saga, some amazing partners there.
And we did that in 48 hours.
We turned around quite a cool party, but we're more intentional this time.
Okay, and how about Bitcoin, Vegas, NFT, NYC, Miami?
Yeah, so this year, oh my gosh, we were at E. Denver.
We hosted the speaker dinner.
So for the first time, E.Denver opened up their doors to Bitcoin panelists.
And we helped curate speakers and host a VIP dinner at four seasons with Magic Eden and a couple of our partners.
And that went really well.
Obviously, we are at Token.
I don't know, am I supposed to announce my partners?
We're going to be a token with some significantly cool people, so check that out.
And for Bitcoin Vegas, it's probably going to be our most premier event this year.
We are hosting bidgala 2.0.
Last year we were at Nashville, we took over the Parthenon.
We orange-pilled inherited site.
And we had goddess Athena, the goddess of wealth right in the middle.
And I told everyone, go and rub your hands on this goddess because Bitcoin's going to reach all-time high.
And people are like, Katz, you're kidding?
I'm not. And so whilst we were at our event, actually, Bitcoin reached all-time high. So it has happened. And we're going to celebrate with all the bitcoins in the space for Bitcoin Vegas. May 26th, actually, we're going to be at the Wynn Hotel, which is one of the most luxurious hotels in all of Vegas. And we're overseeing the sphere, which is the largest screen in the world. So...
The planning and execution is going to be top-not.
So, yeah, those are our plans.
I mean, I'm like baffled.
Like, I just came in like, I'm like, I'm just looking at four people.
I'm like, oh, it's just a month.
This is not recorded either.
It's always Max FOMO after I talked to Katz.
Yeah, so NFTNYC, we really want to do our basketball.
So I was actually on the call with Sunny last night.
I'm like, yo, homie, this is got to be an annual thing that we do.
And we actually spoke to VFriends as well.
I was at their gift goat party.
And there was another party from VFriends.
Yeah, and we discussed New York.
So we definitely, I think Gary and his brother is...
They still have a match, basketball match, that is pending.
So I'm hoping that we're able to round it up and do a basketball situation at NFTNYC.
And also for all my AI friends, I think someone mentioned OD Labs.
We want to do like an AI, ARVR event at NFTNYC.
So those are two plans in the making.
Do we have any dates for those yet?
No, NFT NYC honestly is the only one that I haven't planned as yet.
But I think we're going to do it in the cusp of permissionless and NFT NYC.
I think they're bleeding into each other.
So I think we're going to pick one date very soon.
But we're going to let you know.
We're definitely going to do some amazing things.
Boom. And we know that the OKD team is planning something special for NFT NYC as well.
So if you're listening and you're going to be there, stay tapped in, make sure NFTNYC is one that I do my best not to miss.
Art Basil, I absolutely never miss. Like, just buy your ticket now and make sure it's cheap.
Just buy a ticket now. Stuff's happening in NFT. Yeah. Are you guys going to do with NYC?
You know, so if we did something this year, it'd be our fourth year doing something.
You guys throw dope events too, by it.
You guys are just too much.
You guys are everywhere, crushing it everywhere.
I remember the AOU event.
Was it last year or was it the year before?
Well, we did one the year before, too.
In Broadway, we took over Broadway.
And now that was cool to be a show off Broadway.
And we try to do like panels and stuff to like,
it was first to like mimic nfty nyc but then we realized we were not nfty nyc and that's where the name
came from we're like all right the name's going to be not nft t nyc and then um and then yeah we
took it from from like this hole in the wall bar where we we did a podcast with alex finn he was nfti god then
It just popped up and we did our first event.
It was just us four and like 12 people showed up and it was cool.
We just had a bar and like some giveaways and stuff.
Then the next year we went to Broadway, like she said,
had a lot of people pull up and, you know,
it's all community thing too.
however you want to look at it.
Last year we did it with MetaBetties.
So we connected with them.
That was at the World Trade Center.
This sounds like all great stuff.
I always want to collaborate with people.
this place is so competitive.
we're just all complimentary.
We just haven't figured out.
We should all be complimentary.
I think it's been shelved for almost two years now.
I've been wanting to do like a comedy show,
That's right in our realm.
That's right up our alley.
I'll let me just say they hosted a Web 3 roast one time and Eddie.
thought my jokes were so good.
He thought they were AI generated.
That was before, God, three.
I wish he could cook like me.
And the delivery was perfect, too.
I can't leave my guy waiting any longer.
Mr. Expresso, my brother.
Shout out to the daily alpha.
Nothing but legends up here.
Good. Hi, Katz. Katz likes mom. She actually got me a birthday cake. My birthday was at Bitcoin, Nashville, and she's the only one that actually celebrated with me. She got me a birthday cake. Never met her before and talked her on the spaces, showed up to, what's that Roman Cathedral? I don't even believe.
Athenon. And she had a cake for me. So love cats.
So this is it. Like, you know, like, this is my favorite part about every JPEG community I'm in. Like, you know, I just think JPEG communities do it best. Even through the bear market, I always said JPEG MFs are having the most fun. We were turning up at all these, you know, different venues, different spots. We still have these relationships, still building new collaborations, you know, like you guys already met, but.
taking what seeing where you can expand it further and like that's always going to be my favorite thing of jpeg community so like when i think of utility in 2025 what makes projects you know the difference between a project succeeding and the project not doing so well is like who are the people that make up that community and like it really is an honor all the glazing i promise i'll go back to trolling later
But it really isn't on it to like be connected to you,
legends and know that I could hit you up and bring you on those cool stuff like this.
And you know, let you share a little bit of the game that you guys are just so good at sharing.
So we are at the top of the hour, little housekeeping.
I owe these folks a giveaway.
So I asked them like 10, 15 minutes ago what it meant to be an odd kid to them.
I'm going to go through these real.
Eddie, Brittany, do you guys want to pick, pick one?
You can see the chat, right?
Yeah, you can scroll through.
So if you go back 30 minutes, 29 minutes.
So it starts with Mrs. Hossette, inclusivity.
Akela says being an odd kid is like being part of the cool club where you can be yourself.
Evolved says being an odd kid to me is accepting who you are, accepting others.
We're all odd in our own way.
The cuteness of the IP shows flexibility and style.
Um, world time buds, buzz-d-I don't know what that means.
Uh, although I'm not a kid anymore, people still think I'm odd.
Uh, most probably, because I'm still trying to get them into crypto and FDs.
I'm not sure what that is.
Let me know what that is, Cosmos.
Being accepted for you are.
You wouldn't believe this, though, but like even investing in stocks, bro, it's so odd.
It's like I have, I can only come online and talk about like stocks and stuff because nobody that I know in real life.
So it's like you can be odd in so many different situations.
But it really, when I'm thinking of odd kids, though, it actually reminds me back in the day, like old L.A.
With the graphics and the visuals and just being different from like everything at that time.
You know, I think this is coming straight out of like,
the you know you had to have singy songy hits type of era to where these guys were just making this
by themselves um dolo and so i just think being odd though just really throws to that where it's like
you can just be so different in in what would seem like a common thing and it's like maybe just in
your life though you're the odd one like you're just not in the right situation and like it's
almost like a plug and play like you just
Boom, plug yourself somewhere else.
Odd future is a time, man.
Tyler the creator, Earl's sweatshirt.
Man, like such, and like their whole.
Frank Ocean, don't forget Frank Ocean.
Frank Ocean was a part of that shit too.
Bro, that's what I'm saying.
I'm going to let you all, I'm going to let you all pick one of these, one of these answers to be our OKD winner for the last.
Who's the artist of them all?
I love this, this person's response.
I love evolved ones response.
Being an odd to me is accepting who you are, accepting others.
We're all odd in our own way.
The cuteness of the IP shows flexibility and style, in my opinion.
He might have been dropped.
The hyphens, the hyphins always give it away.
It's stars in front of it and stars after it.
So we'll give it to Evolve.
It was 30 minutes ago, so he may or may not have jumped in and out because I lagged a little bit on getting to the giveaway.
But either way, I'll hit him up on the side.
Evolve if you're still listening.
Shoot me your soul, Addy.
Please don't let me forget, bug me,
and we will absolutely get an OKD going your way.
We also still have one more golden ticket to give away,
which for those of you don't know,
there are only 200 in the whole collection.
that automatically gets you a free solebound JPEG of the golden ticket,
but you also get an actual collectible of the OKD toy.
Who chose it to be a gold ticket, man?
I'm saying gold is on the tip.
of everybody's tongues right now. Everybody wants a piece of the gold. Yeah, well, gold just
said a new all-time high recently, right? Yeah. We had the Robin Hood gold card, Trump offering the
gold, the gold backs. We have the Lost City of Gold awaits today at 6.30 p.m. Robin Hood will be
revealing their all their new collection pieces, everything that they're about to roll out and ship to us.
Gold card from OKD meant now.
It's just adding to the gold lore.
It's like, you know, it just means more and more to us now.
We're not even playing around like for this whole month.
Like, everything has been gold for us.
It really hasn't, though.
Like, why is he giving out gold cards?
So speaking of gold, like where, and this can be a question for Expresso as well.
Like, where do you guys place gold, silver, like precious metals?
in like a responsible portfolio and, you know, in relative to like stocks, crypto.
And you can just give us like a whole rundown of like how you would, how you would advise.
This is not financial advice, but like how you would consider all those different assets in a portfolio.
We like precious metals, to be honest.
It's not like, I don't think that it's any real crazy benefit.
I had collected a lot of silver.
And then Brittany has her own, like, coin collections as well.
But yeah, I think, I don't know why.
We just have a good relationship with the precious metals.
But they don't outperform stocks, to be honest.
And it says, like, if I ever were going to think about buying gold,
I'd probably think about buying a,
like a minor or somebody who like, you know,
A business underlying the gold.
And so, yeah, that's just my opinion, though.
When it comes to precious metals, like investing in palladium, stuff that we need for computers,
for things that we need every day, yeah, I would invest in that.
When it comes to purchasing gold as a commodity, like as a physical to hold, no, I wouldn't invest in that.
But precious metals, there is money to be made there for sure.
There's got to be something there, right?
Isn't that like, I feel like that's some ancient time.
Like, gold has been around for thousands and thousands of years.
So there's something there.
There's value just in that alone, right?
But there also might be some utility there that we haven't really tapped into.
I mean, I don't, we can only have to get conspiracy, but this might be some,
this might be like some old alien sourcing.
Like, this might be one of our most precious materials on Earth.
Are you saying the aliens are trying to dump their gold bags on us?
No, they're trying to take on us, bro.
Hold on to your gold bags.
We just heard that for Knox, we're not sure if the gold is there.
The European Central Bank, all the gold, we think all the gold is missing because they've been late on their payments for that.
And so there's a lot of all around the world, there's a lot of talk about gold right now.
So the okay D gold, that is so on brand.
Are you giving out the gold card this hour or next hour?
So I have two to give out.
I have another three hours on this stream.
So I might be, you know, we'll see.
Somebody might inspire me in the comments, but I'm in no rush.
But we are doing an OKD giveaway every hour.
I have one more golden ticket to give away.
X, what are your thoughts in terms of like precious metals and just like overall portfolio allocation for the basic average person?
Like what are some things to consider?
And also let's not forget digital gold, right?
Yeah, I mean, one of my worst investments back in 2008 was actually purchasing silver at the all-time high.
And if I would have spent that money in Bitcoin in 2008, I wouldn't be here right now.
But it's the safest of the state.
Like you said, it's been around for thousands of years, all the gold bugs.
It's about confidence, right?
Confidence in the market.
And I feel like when there is corruption and there's volatility in the markets, people rush the gold.
And look when Trump is talking about tariffs, what is one of the top all-time assets that people fomoed into.
And that's why it's going up in price.
But I think gold is at a point of.
Of exposure because Fort Knox, what do you think happens to the gold price if we do a live stream and the gold isn't in Fort Knox?
It probably goes down to price.
And then you have Elon Musk basically going up.
Like a freak out? Like people start selling it?
The market could freak out and I feel like maybe people buy it up more because they realize, oh shit, all the gold we have is all the gold we have.
But it's about trust and you just got lied to.
And then you also have Elon Musk going up in space
and they're going to be mining.
They're saying there's gold on top of asteroids.
So if we can mine an asteroid.
I have not heard this theory yet.
So Dave Portnoy, back before he was getting into Bitcoin,
he had the Winklevoss twins come to him
probably five or six years ago
and trying to convince him to get in Bitcoin
arguments was that there's no one knows how much gold is actually on the planet earth,
but no one knows actually how much gold's on asteroids.
And their pitch was Elon Musk is going to go up.
This is mining before SpaceX.
It's going to go up in space and mine asteroids for precious metals.
And they have basically done.
I guess, I don't know, research or carbon test that there's actually these precious metals on these things.
And, you know, five or six years later, SpaceX is now moving.
And now there is hints of going up in space into mining these asteroids for gold.
And now we'll just imagine if we bring the most gold we've ever mined from an asteroid to Earth.
The supply and demand is going to be offset off top of trust issues of it not being forked knocks.
So I think this might be the peak for...
And actually this is kind of the forefront of where we're going to see Bitcoin kind of take over because of the digital infrastructure, but also it's trackable where you can't just say that's not there.
It's all traceable on a blockchain.
So I think this is where we've had thousands of years of corruption.
And I think blockchain technology is the light that's going to shine.
Shining on all this stuff and I just need cold precious metals everything is going digital and everything's going to have to be accounted for in the future or we're going to get back in this mess a hundred years from now
Yeah put all government spending on chain. I want to see it all
Every line item you from that how far are we from that by the way because not far
With the government like accepting Bitcoin they're they're legitimizing the technology and
Right? So like how long they have, like how far can they really kick this hand down the road?
Once every corporation has to hold some on their balance sheet. Every country has to hold some on their on their on their reserve. It goes crazy.
And what are the implications of that when these politicians have to actually be held accountable? How much does that actually change? I mean, we can all agree it's going to be better in the long time. Who watches the watchers?
So now this is bringing accountability to people that have been using the U.S. government and taxpayers as like a slush fund and like it's very political.
So it just brings light to and like just imagine how much money that people, how much destruction happened during the past two elections based off what were votes and what wasn't real votes.
Just imagine a voting system where one vote equals one vote, how much better society and how less.
destruction there would be if this is actually all confirmed on the blockchain and there's no like
what who's counting what votes and shit so i think it ultimately brings up society because there's
less corruption and i think that's where we're heading for right
I agree, but do the MFers at the top just nuke everything before we even get there?
If you're not in on it, you'll be dead in 30 years.
And then the people that grew up with it, you know, grow up with it.
So blockchain technology is you can't put the toothpaste back in the bottle.
And so my children that are growing up in it are eventually going to be politicians.
And they're going to know no different.
And the people, the reason why people are holding strong to this is because they make a lot of money and off.
this corruption. So they're going to be kicking and screaming out the door. That's ultimately what
criminals do, right? Yeah, it's crazy because the whole gold situation, though, if it's not
at Fort Knox, the invocations are going to be insane. Because right off the top, though, I think
they would have to somehow replenish it, right? Like, they owe a bunch of people money if Fort Knox is
Who's the first people that they would confiscate from?
And they've done it before.
People probably don't know that.
They've made it illegal for people to own gold.
They've confiscated people's gold and then up the price the next week.
So that was just like blatant robbing, right?
And it happens more often than not.
But I think we've reached the edge, we've reached the real edge of what we can do as far as inflation.
And it's something's going to break.
And so it's just, it's good to be on a path that needs to be fixed right now.
I mean, the Fort Knox has been, it hasn't been audited since 1975 and Bitcoin was audited
So it's like it's more efficient, right?
I got this pointer, dude.
Do you have you seen these pointers where the guy like taps on the screen all the time?
It took like three weeks to get this, but I'm going to go ham on this thing.
I will see if I get good engagement on videos.
If I could just hit that like button, right?
Yeah, hit that light button.
So obviously, X, you run TDA.
You mentioned your birthday a minute ago,
but TDA just turned three years old this month.
Shout out to the Daily Alpha.
If you're not following the Daily Alpha yet,
And what's funny is actually,
Over a year ago, the Daily Alpha space is where I first learned about the Pooks original mint, which is the Pooks is the original collection by this OKD team.
They, you know, launched it, started a community.
That's where I got started with them.
And the IP wasn't connecting with people as they wanted it to, which is why they launched OKD.
Now they've got, you know,
millions of views on TikTok.
They went back to the drawing board and tested this IP on, you know,
Normies to see if I would resonate and it's doing well on IG and TikTok.
But anyway, the Daily Alpha is where I first got that game.
Tuesday through Saturday. You've been doing it for the last three years. Shout out to Chief,
who also runs that with you. And obviously, we got Eddie and Brittany here holding it down on the
hood retail YouTube channel. If you're not subscribed to them, you should be 23K subscribers.
Ed Monies has been doing the thing for a minute. I want to ask a simple question. Like, how do you
DIYR. We tell people all the time, do your own research. And it's just so much more, you know,
tempting to just go online and just turn notifications on for somebody and hope that they're
going to tell you exactly how to get rich. It just doesn't work that way. So how do you, how does one
DIYR? How do you do your own research? I've always been very,
trying to find the source of information ever seen i was a 90s baby and the internet came up and
i was just like i'm trying to find as much information and it took me probably two or three years
to find the source and how to do my own research but now with AI and deep deep search it's
easier than ever to do research you could just plug in say okay d into twitter and tell them tell me
But it hasn't been this easy before.
So I have a bunch of tools at my disposal, a bunch of people that are reputable, that I follow, that give me hints.
So it's got a culmination of just a lot of a time in the market and getting burnt a bunch of times and just finding out what's reputable and what's not reputable.
you just kind of understand by like who's following it if there's vc's involved the IP the team
if there's enough attention that they could drive to actually sell outments are this to be
sustainable so i have like twitter scraper's that kind of alert me if like smart followers or find
certain projects and that's and that that's a paid tool and i'm not going to shout them out on
this because they don't need free marketing but
Just using tools and the things of your research, but also time in the market is a, you just can't come in here expecting to do your own research and find gyms.
Like it takes a lot of flipping over rocks and failing to start understanding like what actually pumps in this market or what actually gains attention in this market.
So it's like time in the market, but also having a lot of tools at disposal.
And it's easier than ever for that now with like the deep research and all the AI that's now integrated into Twitter and stuff.
So it's kind of how I do it.
Yeah, it's much easier with the AI stuff for sure.
Also, with trap-fi markets, I think you just read everything.
The white papers, you know, their roadmaps, they actually come to fruition or else, you know, they have people to answer to.
They have shareholders that they have to explain things to.
So, immersing yourself in that space, like,
545 market open stream, you're listening to a pod 8 a.m. after the stream is over,
you know, you have a, what, 1245 market closed stream, listen to another pod after that.
And it's just like on, you just, it's your environment.
So when you're in that environment, you go back, you first thing with AI,
research, all of it, you just have to be immersed. You have to actually love what you're doing,
I think. If you're not looking and I'm loving this, I'm actually so intrigued by this, I want to
know more, I'm hungry, I'm thirsty for the knowledge, then it's not going to be as easy to DYOR.
100%. You have to love it. And I think that's where I stem from is because since I'm a kid, I've always tried to be early to trends. If it's fashion, if it's music, if it's video games, if it's platform, if it's technology. I'm always the one that, you know, when I was growing up was like kind of like the leader or the trend setter. And like, how did that benefit me? Like I was early to a musician and I knew they were going to be huge.
But now if you're early to something in crypto, there's a mutual benefit and a monetary benefit for doing that.
So I felt like if I'm going to spend a lot of effort of trying to be early, why not doing it in a space where being early is actually beneficial?
I think even without saying, it's like people are able to, not even to not even to quote Gary V, but they trade attention. And it's like you see that there's even though in the past you couldn't be early, know something and there was no reward for it except for you were early. And that was enough to be like, yo, I have my stripes off that.
But I think over time, now things have come to where if you have early information and you know, there's ways to profit off of it now.
And whether that be with meme culture, whether that be with a celebrity meme coin or something like that.
And when it comes to traditional markets, you know, something could happen on like...
on a Reddit forum that nobody else knows about and you peeped it or it could happen on a Sunday and these industrial
you know these these guys don't have access to their markets or whatever and you know boom 24 hour
markets comes into play on a Sunday for you and I just think
now you can profit off the news, whether it be prediction markets too.
That's like a real big thing.
It's like you don't even have to profit for the win.
Like a lot of people don't even realize that this news, there's value in the news.
People buy advertisements in between these programs and stuff because their news is valuable.
The attention is so valuable and it.
I think even if you just have a little bit early jump on the news, right now is the time where things you can actually profit off of.
And it could be as simple as a basketball game.
You could know that this team's going to beat them.
It's 80-20 though, right?
By the time it becomes 90-10...
And that team is really going to win.
It's the fourth quarter now.
And so it's almost more certain that they're going to win.
You can profit just in that thing.
You can close out your contracts then.
You don't even have to wait until it's 99 to 1.
You know what I'm saying?
You can profit off just being early on the news.
Like, hey, I'm watching the game.
Let me trade a prediction contract real quick.
So I just think it's just, it's insane world right now where you can be early and get rewarded.
It's internet capital markets.
you can basically make money in any market now because it's about attention.
Like we just saw BitBoy get arrested in a token pumps.
Like you see the Jubilee, the Chatsy BT that happened today.
Now there's a Jubilee token.
So it's just like if you're paying attention and you understand like this now that there's this
infrastructure and crypto where you can trade prediction markets, you can trade tokens.
You can long and short this stuff too.
And it's just like there's not a day that goes by where there's not a money making opportunity,
You can short the market.
And that's making money. You just have to have the tools around you so you can take advantage of stuff. And the only way you can do that is if you experiment. There's no way that you're going to take advantage of a prediction market if you never use Pali Market. There's no way that you're going to take advantage of shorting the market if you never use leverage. So it's like getting out there and using these tools and and like focusing on it is how I've been doing it. And I think.
I sit here and, you know, I've done the daily alpha for three years.
And while you're doing five shows a week for two hours a day, you really have a come to Jesus moment.
And I come down to this single point of why I'm here.
I love being early more than I like making money.
Like I said, I've been someone that's been trying to trend set and front run trends and it's not been profitable.
And now I can do it in crypto.
And being early is way better than making 100x.
Like when you're into something and you're the first 100 follower on it and you go on the space and you let everybody know.
And then three weeks later, all the KOLs are fighting over it.
way better feeling than 100x, 100 times in a row, dude.
It's just the fact that you had the perspective and you had confidence and you were there and
you let people know and were aware about it.
The fact that I was sharing it for freely and it gave people an opportunity to get in early
and make money is something that's way more fruitful than like,
just like 100x are making 100x in my opinion yeah when your conviction pays off pays you and other
people that feeling that's better than anything in the world yeah you can get both you can get the
hundred x and be it's so good yeah if the hundred if you being early can create 100x for under
people that's that's that's a double down that's probably yeah what's what sucks though is i've
seen it so many times and time again we were yelling about hood under like 10 bucks and and
And we wrote it to the top.
we dipped a little lower.
don't think that you can't.
It's a curse because being early is a curse.
The fact that you early, I have this problem with myself, you have a bagholder mentality because you were the first to see it.
And it's very hard to sell something that you told everybody about that early about.
And I'm learning that too.
Just because you're early doesn't mean you have to be a bag holder.
You know, there's an investing quote that I don't know who said it, but they said,
it doesn't matter if you're early and right.
Sometimes if you're too early, it's just as bad as being wrong.
And that is touch the case in this world.
Yeah, because it could really hurt you being really early.
But I think when you're always thinking in long term, though,
these little moves, especially being early and being able to call it,
And that just that alone right there really will put you ahead of the pack.
That's what we call alpha in traditional market.
So you got beta, right, which is just like the market, like how tied you are to the S&P.
And when the market goes up, how much does your portfolio go up?
Alpha is what separates the investor from other investors.
It's the skill an investor has to put that on their portfolio.
So I just think there's alpha in being early all the time too.
So it's like you could be early just for the day.
You could be early just for the month.
You could be early for the year.
But I think overall, if you're early in a long term period and you stay where you need to be, you'll end up on top.
I've heard an interesting analogy of like you say like being early is not always great.
It's it was during like when highways were being paved.
And this is a great analogy is like you could have seen that all these highways were being paved and invested in all the thousands of car companies because you knew that people are going to be driving more.
So say that you saw the highways being paved and you invested in all the car companies because you knew cars are going to take off because now there's a place to travel.
Well, that was one of the worst investments because only out of all those hundreds of thousands
of car companies, only three remain. It's like Ford, Chevy, and some others. So it's like,
you could have had the perspective and invested in all that stuff and you still would have been down
drastically. So it's just like sometimes.
Sometimes it's a gift and a curse.
It's not always trying to be early.
It's trying to get in when it's now consensus and understanding when people start being confident in it before people are confident on the timeline.
Get the information early, but maybe make the move, take the action when it's the right time.
I want to go to this comment.
Somebody said, the world is being gamified.
Somebody responds, the world has been gave it.
Oh, Evolve, you won your...
Yeah, I don't know if you've all missed it, but you're back.
You won an OKD, thanks to your odd comment.
And also, thanks for continuing to participate.
The world has been gamified.
What were you going to touch on?
Yeah, I wanted to say the world has been gamified, but it's now publicly gamified.
Before, it has been privately gamified this whole time.
businessmen in China betting on our the u.s these people are addicted to their credit cards are they
going to pay their credit cards this month in full they literally take bets on our debt like that
and they're making so much money off just prediction markets off of behavior markets so this has
been privatized for a long time but now i think with
Robin Hood crypto with so many things happening that we, the little guy, the retail investor,
finally is getting access, finally has a way to actually engage and get involved, which was before just for the 1%.
Yeah. And even just to tie this all back, I mean, this all started with how to do your own research, you know?
For me, I was like, I'm looking at this and I'm like, this is not...
This, like you said, it was not available to us now, right?
But if you pull this example out of, of like the news during the election,
they want to keep you on the election the entire time.
You don't really find out who wins until like whatever the next morning when you wake up.
But in the prediction markets, it priced him in at 95% chance of winning already.
And that's people, that's like a real measurement of the market.
And before you just had to watch the market fall, you just had to watch the market open and hope you were positioned correctly.
Now you can kind of sway it with your vote.
It's like they say the stock market is a voting market in short term and a weighing market in the long term.
They came out with stats.
I think it was just this past week that polymarket is 90% right on the winning bets.
So it's actually like predicting the future of what's actually happening because I feel like it's a lot of insider trading that's going on.
But where people put their money at is typically where.
the alpha lies and like these prediction markets are actually predicting the future with air drops
and all kinds of stuff it's kind of yeah and just think about it if it was like a basketball game right
let's just say it's in the fourth quarter when the last two minutes is there you when you're looking
at the score you can kind of see where it's lopsided right it's not going to be a 50 50 chance if you're
down by 10 with two minutes to go it's not going to be a 50 50 chance but
So these markets are giving you this news slightly early.
But like Brittany said, this is going to be very transparent when it comes to predicting our news in the future.
Because the news we have have advertisements.
They have pharmaceutical companies they need to please.
They have food companies they need to please.
Like they can't fuck up certain industries based off of telling us facts.
So they have to please these companies.
And so then you start, you're like, oh, this is bad.
I got to get independent knowledge.
The independent knowledge has now been.
kind of streamlined from guys like gambler and the Daily Alpha and Hood Retail Show.
Like we all have our voices and we all talk.
But when it comes down to a prediction market, that's where the actual votes are going.
And we can all, we can do all the predicting we want.
But it's all going to lead back to a market where you can see the actual chance of something happening.
Yeah, somebody equated it to gambling.
This is prediction with enough information.
almost every behavior makes sense so if you have enough information you use
statistics every single day in your life, which route would be better for work, what food would
be better for lunch? You're using, which would have the less traffic, all of this kind of stuff,
and putting it into the financial markets. Now we have the tools. We have the access. It's an
insane time to be invested. Doing your own research now is AI prediction markets and like really
looking at likelihood. Before it used to just be propaganda, what's on the news, what you get from
24-7 podcast, spaces, the town hall, which is X. We have everything at our fingertips. There's
money to be made and we actually have the tools at our disposal now.
And it really is no excuse, right?
I mean, with AI, you can plug all your holes.
But like all of your gaps, all of your gaps in knowledge, you can fill all those weaknesses
with AI and it just takes a little bit of curiosity and actual genuine intention and wanting
to figure out what you want to figure out.
I host, you know, a space every Thursday on like trying to.
to discuss what's going on in the market.
Oh, look, Jeremy's jumping in.
And I am not, you know, I say it all the time.
I am not a, for Jeremy, how are you doing, brother?
You put me front and center, bro.
I'm going to do a little dance for the folks at home.
Jeremy didn't see that I said live stream until just now.
But he's like, wait, we're live.
I'm like, yeah, is that fine?
And he's locked and loaded, of course.
Jeremy, how are you doing, brother?
Yeah, I'm great, man. I just got a mega download from the team on what we're doing. So I'm kind of fired up. It's been a great day. Hey, Brittany, hey Eddie. Hey, everyone at home is it an espresso. Let's go.
You're cooking. All my favorite people. I need to mint. This is like, I have like 20 minutes. So this is my moment. I'm here, but I'm also in the background. I got to be pressing some buttons because I'm hyped on this. Yeah, absolutely. Mint.
I want to see what you get.
Public is going to be starting, I believe, in 30 minutes.
So that'll be fun to start seeing those flood the timeline as well.
AI, yeah, there's no excuse.
Oh, that's what I was saying.
I'm not a macro guy, right?
Which is why I rely heavily on like,
pages like the Daily Alpha in Hood Retail. But the other day, like the FOMC meeting happened.
And I literally just jumped on to GROC. It was like, yo, GROC summarize the main points from the
FOMC meeting and what happened. It's like boom, boom, boom, boom. It was so helpful to do that.
And again, there's just no excuse now if you really are interested in opening up
Yeah, doing that with earnings calls as well.
Maybe you're not going to be able to sit through that.
You're not going to be able to listen to the whole thing.
You need to just synthesize that information and get it quickly and go.
Doing that, hey, download this earnings call.
What are the key takeaways?
What should I be expecting?
Grop does the new version of Grop does a great job.
up on that. Yeah, it does. So I know we have you guys for a limited amount of time. I want to
tie a bow around this conversation. I'm going to go to hood retail, hood retail friends,
and then Expresso. Like what are some fundamentals to being financially responsible and
financially successful, whether that be crypto related or otherwise?
I mean, for everyone, it probably starts with your personal finance for sure.
You got to make sure you're right there before you're betting the house on something that you think you like.
But yeah, it starts with personal finance.
And I think it really starts with trying to figure out how to do your own research.
So I thought that was a really great question.
You really should tap into like,
what a prediction market is, you should really tap into like whatever asset your class you're trying to find and how to study it.
I just think there's so much opportunity out there.
Yeah, that's probably the...
Don't allow consumption culture to...
your goals financially, mentally, spiritually,
don't allow consumption culture to take away
from your happiness or where you wanna be in the future.
You spending $10 today could be $60 with that time in the market.
Compounding is key and you giving away your dollars frivolously just like giving your attention away
The way that you can be learning every always be learning always be by you know always be learning we can always be doing so much more so don't allow
Attention consumption physical consumption things that are your money is your energy and if you're not spending your money wisely you're not spending your energy wisely and
And if you are, it's going to come back to you.
So it's going to come back to you and refill it.
If you're doing the right things, do the right things.
And, yeah, watch those profits multiply.
You know, thanks for having us, bro.
We definitely appreciate hanging out with you guys.
We'll have to come back and kick it with you guys again.
We'll be checking it out for sure.
This is the art that we love.
If you guys are hanging out on X, we'll be doing a live stream tonight to watch the gold event with Robin Hood.
It'll be streaming at 630.
It'll be on YouTube, X, and some other platforms.
I don't know what Lour has planned for that.
But yeah, if you guys want to catch up with us, go ahead and just plug us on X and hit us on YouTube.
Is there a link for that on Twitter right now?
Yeah, go to Britty's Bliss or, no, go to hood retail and I just reposted it actually for the, uh, where you want to get the live link today.
Did I get something special?
Did he just get a gold ticket?
Did he get a bolt ticket on screen?
It says shush and I literally, the first thing I do is like, show everybody.
This is the paper ends moment.
I just, I told you I was going to mint right now.
Thank you so much for the meeting and supporting.
Eddie, Brittany, love to you guys.
Going to check out the stream tonight.
Thank you for all the game.
You know, congrats, Jeremy.
Jeremy pulls, somebody said.
X, before we move on too far,
I want to get that answer from you.
Like, what are some fundamentals
to just being financially responsible for folks who
want to do better for themselves, you know, and possibly use crypto in the markets to help them do that.
Yeah, I'm going to have to leave after this one, but I think people confused trading attention with investing.
And what we're doing in these spaces and on the timeline is trading attention.
And training attention is an investment. You need to get in and out of these things. You shouldn't be bagholders.
Investing is having a time frame longer than one to two years. And dollar cost averaging and that means that you have to have confidence and have to do your research, do that. So I only think the only asset that I have confidence in for the next two to three years is Bitcoin. So you need to take all that attention trading and put that into Bitcoin or stablecoins to.
survive. And I think that is the key point here, survival. And the only way you could survive is
surround yourself with a group of people and your tribe, but also security. That's something that I
found out the hard way is you can have the best trading year of your life. But if you get hacked or you get
you're done. And it's about surviving and a lot of people can't recover from that.
So I think a big portion of it is security, your friends,
but also understanding that training attention isn't investing.
That's how you get out of this space.
And I think people also need to realize that,
There is no more risk-free way to get ahead in this world.
There's no way that you're going to sit comfy in 2% stock,
and you're going to be able to retire and live the rest of your life.
There is a point in time where you're going to have to make a risk in an asset,
and it's going to feel uncomfortable,
but that is your ticket out of your 9 to 5 or out of the rat race or your retirement.
Because if you look at the numbers...
Gen X, Gen Z is going to need over $3 million to retire.
And I don't think anybody has that in their savings.
So you basically need to invest your money in assets that are outproducing inflation.
And that is a very hard thing for people to understand because your savings account isn't going to multiply enough for you to retire.
And if the government doesn't fix anything, people are going to be living and working past their 60s.
I think people need to realize also that the dollar is an inflation is an invisible tax.
And the only way you're going to get out and actually have freedom is actually taking risks.
And that's all I got to say.
But taking risks, like I said, is hard because you have to remember, you have to surround
yourself with people that aren't trying to extract from you and use you.
So you have to have a good head on your shoulder and identify personalities and people.
But you also have to have your security involved.
but you also got to understand that you can't have all your money in attention.
You need to have some kind of investment.
So that would be my three or four goals of being financially free and investing,
like, with kind of like having your head on your shoulders and not losing it all, I guess.
So appreciate you having me on, bro.
And I would add, man, surround yourself by people who want to see you do better and who know their stuff.
One way you can do that is by following Expresso, following Chief.
Make sure you're following the daily alpha with notifications on.
And shout out to you, brother.
Hope you have a blessed rest of your day.
Good seeing your face, brother, man.
always man what thank you so much yeah the daily alpha changing people's lives literally every day
i'm so i'm so happy to see you man and i'll see you soon i'm sure yeah we will i'll see you guys
later you guys have a great rest of your day and good luck on the mint i minted my two so uh we'll see
how it goes brother appreciate you i appreciate you king talk soon peace let's go later
And then there were true.
You took the words right out of the mouth.
Jeremy, how are you doing, bro?
I hope your day wasn't too busy.
And, you know, you got a chance to come hang out.
You saw the golden, dude, bro, I don't even know what that means.
I've been like, following you guys for feels like over a year, year and a half.
And on this in particular, I'm like so tapped out.
You see me jumping into the group chat like, hey, do I just do something?
You can tell them, Jeremy.
No, no, no, I was about to say it's hard to keep up with things anyways.
Because, I mean, the way we did it, we did it very low-key anyways.
We didn't, we did everything organic.
There's no, nothing was kind of like, you know, paying influence, KOLs and all those guys.
So, yeah, so we did it in a very different way.
And, you know, if people...
You know, our whole thesis was if people like it, they like it. They like it. They don't.
Right. So we'll see how it goes in the next 15 minutes, 20 minutes.
But yeah, congratulations of the golden ticket.
I'm excited. I've got. I'm glad you got it.
Me too. I, you know, I don't even know what to say.
You still haven't told them what it is. Okay.
You don't know. No, don't even tell me. Don't even. Is it a secret?
No, no. It's not a secret. It's what it is.
And also we have one more to give out live on this space, on this stream.
There's only 200 in the whole collection.
And what it means is you get a soulbound NFT of the golden ticket.
But you get, let me show not tell, right?
Well, it's going to be the box first.
Bro, the content on Instagram, I mean, it's kidding.
And actually, JD has one.
I think JD has one nearby.
Is that the only way to get it, or are you going to sell these later on?
We're not the first, the first version, we're not going to sell.
So this guy, yeah, so this is just a mock-up.
So the eyes are changing and all those things, but this was our first iteration ever.
We made it a little bit smaller because
This is, yeah, you guys can see how big it is.
And so we're making some changes.
Obviously, the color is a little bland because this was just a test model.
We're cranking up the contrast, the colors.
But yeah, this is our first guy, and then we're going to keep making them.
I can't believe it went to Jeremy, bro.
And, like, I was like, like, you know, like J.D. said, it's hard to keep up.
So I only put one wallet on the list.
Like, I thought I had others and they're not on it, which is fine.
But the fact that my one wallet with one poop in it, not even like my, my like, poop
fault, I got one poop in there.
Bro, GGs. Well, Jeremy, well, public's going to be live in 15 minutes or so. So shout
it to everybody waiting on that.
I'm going to jump off, by the way. I have a meeting right at four, but I'm all yours until then.
All good. Sounds good. Shout out to everybody in chat. Shout out to the 3,000 sets of eyeballs
that have tuned in. We really appreciate you. Jason, I'm holding it down, Brittany.
I'm not sure I've had the pleasure of meeting him in person,
but I love all of my interactions with him online.
Yeah, anytime I run into him, it's a good experience.
Yeah, Oweis is our dev, by the way.
He's tuning into the stream.
He's tuning to the stream.
I heard the devs did something.
Like a lot of projects, what they do is they go to the launch pad, right?
So we took it to our own.
And I like the playground branding too because I've been saying for a long time and I feel like
this is kind of common knowledge or common sense.
It's like this stuff has to be fun.
And when I think about playground, I think about, you know, being young, jumping around,
How was the mint experience, Jeremy?
Because you didn't even know there was a golden.
How did it feel when you got that message afterwards?
I saw it on a tweet somewhere, but like I didn't like do any research on it.
Well, the thing is, so I, like, I minted my two.
I don't know how well you can see that.
So, like, I took a screenshot.
And then as I took the screenshot, it, like, flashed the golden ticket.
And I was like, wait, wait, wait, what?
So, yeah, I felt, I felt special, you know.
Well, I do want to pick your brain a little bit because when I think community, I mean.
I kept getting calls and then I got sent off and then I was here and then I wasn't here.
Did you see you got the golden ticket?
What a fucking wizard, dude.
All homies from the original, man, first NFT community and really real community that I was a part of in Crypto and Web 3V friends, man.
Leading the way in terms of collectibles, IRL events, VCon.
One of the best IRL events you can think of.
Like, what the heck does community mean in 2025?
Like that word has unfortunately been put through the way of ranger by a lot of bad actors and, you know, people that don't necessarily have the best intention in the space.
But there are teams like V-Friends.
There are teams like OKD.
There are communities like the Daily Alpha and Hood Retail that are absolutely embodying all of that.
So what does that mean in 2025?
And people have been asking me this for years.
It doesn't look any different in 2025 than it did in 2021 or like maybe the medium has changed.
But communities are built on communication, right?
Like I think a community is a group of people who share resources and information to better themselves toward a shared goal or vision.
I don't know. I just pulled that out of my ass, but it sounds kind of good.
Like a community is just relationships.
Like, I'll give you a reasonable example without spelling any out.
There's something coming that we've been working on.
And it's like, it's cool.
Like, it's going to be really awesome.
And when anytime you have to claim something, the worry is like, oh, is the person going to miss it?
And I had a meeting with Andy.
And he was like, for this one, I want you to call everyone.
I want every single person to get a call.
because we think it's that important.
We want people to have it.
And, like, that call is going to mean the world to somebody.
Like, even, like, you see Gary just leave a comment when somebody gets a new V-friend.
For Gary, that's, like, five seconds of him maximizing time.
But for the person on the other side, like, that might be somebody that they've looked up to for years,
acknowledging them for the first time.
So like it's not built on validation.
Like nobody needs a Gary V follow to feel like they're a part of V friends.
every single touchpoint, like every way you communicate, whether that's a DM or it's a social post that's relevant to them, or is saying GM in a Discord server, like it builds that network.
And the reason, one of the reasons that BeFriends is such a, like, good example of a real organically developed community is...
That, like, like, there are people who have fallen in love, like gotten married, had babies, started businesses together, and you just spend time.
Like, you can, and I tweeted this randomly this week is like, time is a very underrated factor in literally any equation.
Actually, you know, espresso was, was dropping off.
And he was talking about risk.
Like we're in a period now where you don't have the luxury of not taking a risk.
And one of the frameworks I picked up from my performance days involves risk.
It's the four key ingredients to a great story because I was doing theater, but I think it applies to a lot of things.
And those four ingredients are risk because you have to step outside of your comfort zone if you're going to try to like achieve anything new or make progress.
momentum because if you don't have some tailwinds, like if you're not consistent, if you're
doing, you know, 10 pushups and then you don't do them for a month, you're not going to feel
that better if you need momentum. You need, don't forget, effort. Like, it's not just going to happen
for you. Like, you need to actually go out and do something. And then the last ingredient is joy.
Because if you're not doing something you love, then what the fuck does it matter? Like,
You got to have fun along the way.
So, like, effort, momentum, risk, and joy.
So in a way, that's also kind of the ingredients to making, like, a real community.
You have to do the one-on-one, like, show up to the video call when your homie says,
But you also, like, have to stay consistent.
And sometimes, like, I replied to a tweet today of somebody who was not happy.
But I jumped in because I want to empathize with their perspective and hopefully give them an opportunity to see mine.
That's a bit of a risk, low-level risk, but risk.
And then, like, that's fun for me.
You know, that's why I do this.
So there's no one right answer because, like, a community can be built on a community, a community can be built on things that people don't, like,
A community can build on any kind of shared values.
And I feel like the shared, like, that's the magnet that brings people together.
And then the relationships they build are the glue that keep them together.
Well, said, I think that that example you just gave of, like, you jumping in and responding to someone directly.
I think in order for that to be fun, I think you have to actually trust that your intentions are pure.
Because I think that's where like the real fear and insecurity stems from.
I mean, we all have insecurity, right, even with the best intentions.
But I think when you know that nobody can look at you and say you did this because you're malicious or you were trying to hurt someone in some way, then what are you afraid of?
Like this conversation isn't going to go in some crazy direction.
It's at the worst, it's going to be a different risk difference of perspectives.
right and and at the best we get to hopefully come away from this learning something from each other
so i really appreciate what you said and shout out to soul in the and the listeners who uh summarized
it's a good formula it's a good formula i always liked it effort joy um i'm glad you i'm glad you
i'm glad you brought intention because like
talent is also a really big part of this too.
Like good intentions does not make a good product.
It does not make a good experience.
It does not mean that you're infallible or always right.
Like you can have the best of intentions and still do wrong by somebody else, do wrong by yourself or others.
And like, I think kind of to bring it back to this, like,
With the pivot that the OKD team made to actually build a brand and put in the work and find virality on social and build the community and bring them along for the pivots and survive the NFT bear.
Like that takes hard work.
And just because you're putting in the time doesn't mean that you're going to see the results.
So I think it's like you're right.
Good intentions will get you a long way, right?
They'll help you navigate in tough moments, but you also have to have the grit and the talent to stand out among a sea of other people who are also trying to win.
And I think, like, the thing that I think J.D. would agree with me on and that we believe at V Friends is that there's plenty for everybody to win.
VFriends is not competing with OKD or any of these other NFT projects.
The more that we win in this space for our own projects and for our communities,
it's just the pie gets bigger and bigger and bigger.
Like, you know, we talk a lot about PVP in the space, you know, especially with, you know,
meme coins that don't last an hour or two.
That's a part of our space.
there's like competitions for liquidity of the day.
But when we're talking about culture and communities and scaling blockchain products to the masses,
nobody here right now this early is competing.
We're all building for the same goal.
And we have a lot of shared values most of us.
Sorry, just to touch your point real quick, Jeremy, at the end, we're not competing with Web3 projects.
We're competing with the other guys.
On social media, I want chimpers, I want Pudgies, I want all these NFTIPs to win.
But we're competing with the other guys.
We're competing with the other giants.
And that's where I think, you know, it's a good way to end off before we kind of hop into our public mint in.
I'm going to have it queued up and ready to go.
What's the, what's the mint limit in public?
Right now it's two, but I'm actually talking to the dev right now to crank it to four.
I think, you know, it's just easier for people to mint if they want to pin multiple, right?
And it's point of just going to or five or?
Yeah, it's the same. It's the same.
But yeah, thanks again, Jeremy, for being here.
Your insights are always good.
You know, love your back, man.
Hopefully you get another golden ticket, to be honest.
Yeah, and then maybe if you have two, we'll find a way to,
because we're going to do multiple drops for the toys.
If I get a second one, I'll probably,
I'll either give it to my brother or maybe I'll give it to be friends.
It'll be a fun, like, be a fun giveaway.
Jeremy, you've been here a minute, man.
What are some of just your favorite highlights from all of your time in Web 3?
And like, why do you still have a connection to JPEX?
Those are two very different questions.
I think some of my favorite moments are when something weird and wild happens, and then suddenly everyone you know is in the same Twitter space trying to catch the update.
Like that happened a lot on Leap spaces over the years.
It happened on Amy Street space recently when Elon Musk came in.
I love the moments that, like, bring the space together.
Like, there was that terrible commercial that's a lot of put out,
and I saw tweets that was like,
I haven't seen the CET united about anything like this in a while.
And obviously, like, I've had a lot of personal triumphs and challenges
that, like, I could, I could rattle off that are special to me.
As far as my interest in JPEGs, I think it's maybe like a,
trifold. It's either like a dual or a trifold reason. The first thing comes to mind is like,
I am an artist and I come from a background of appreciating art.
So when I came to the NFT space, like I also felt that it was irrational that these things were being valued at such crazy figures.
Like I remember my first exposure to NFTs was a podcast about a New York Times writer who had minted an article that he wrote about NFTs.
And then he expected it to sell for a couple hundred bucks and it sold for like tens of thousands.
And I was like, what the...
what is going on and then people happened a few months later and then I got into the space in April.
But so not only do I value art, but I value the artist.
Like I value the creative spirit of the whole entire human species.
Like I think it's, I think actually everyone is born an artist and that life is a creative adventure.
So that's like a little, you know, romantic.
But like, I really do think that there's value just in the simplicity of art.
Whether or not you're trained or you have a pedigree or if you had a high ticket sale, like I think anybody can be an art simply by deciding to create.
Number two is really the thesis on BFriends, which is the programmability of NFTs.
the artwork itself on the token is meaningful, but the composability and the programmability
that I can know exactly everyone in the world who owns a hearttrooper NFT in two minutes by
looking it up on ether scan. And I can say, hey, if you own a hearttrooper NFT, I'm going to
randomly give you this statue that I just won from an OKD gold. Like, like,
Like, the permissionlessness of the blockchain is actually really, really profound.
And we've only just begun to, like, tap into how far that can go in terms of community, events, value creation in a lot of different ways.
Now that I'm on the big stream, I feel like this third reason has to be really important.
But I haven't thought of it yet.
I feel like the cop-out answer is community, but it's kind of true in the sense that I would not still be here at Vee Friends if it wasn't for the community.
The network state, the network effect of all of a shared, having a singular collection, contract address, group of assets that bring people together.
that encourage them to develop their network is exactly the reason I am who I am.
Because when I started making content for V-Friends, I thought I would do it for like a couple of days, maybe a week.
And then suddenly I'm having like profound conversations with people around the world around business and empathy and the next generation of tech and like all of, I'm learning so much.
It's the people that kept me here.
That is true to this day.
Like some of my best friends I see once a year or less, but we talk almost every day, you know, or very frequently.
And so, yeah, it is a superpower of JPEGs to be able to bring people together.
But that's always been the case, right?
Like famous art and feats of creativity.
even like in the sports realm like think about the way that like the Olympics when they were ancient would always bring masses of people to Rome so or yeah to Rome so I would say those three things appreciation for art like genuinely whether or not it's valuable and therefore the artists the programmability of the Ethereum blockchain
the smart contract functionality, the permissionlessness of the space.
And then without having a better word for it, the community, the relationships and the network
effect of being a part of one thing or another.
I know you said you have a meeting.
Your life for 12 hours, right?
Yes, sir. Yeah, we're going strong. Four hours in.
I'll pop in and out. I'll see what I'll see. I'll try to make my way back.
I'm going to mint right now. I'm going to go to my meeting and then I'll text you.
All right, brother. Talk soon. Hope your meeting goes incredible. Thank you again for the time.
Love you guys. Congrats on the Mint. We'll see you soon.
We're live, ladies and gentlemen. We are live. The public mint is here. We are four hours into the stream. Miss Sol asked what are we minting. Minting. I missed it. Well, that's exactly what we're here to share with you. We're minting OKD. OKD underscore XYZ. You can check us out on Twitter.
The team has been cooking for the last year, plus getting together to make sure that this is everything that they wanted to be.
They have plans beyond post-mint here already.
Point system for collectors, unique badges.
We already given out one golden ticket live on this stream, which is going to guarantee that individual.
a soulbound JPEG, as well as one of these OKD figurines collectibles.
So we also got the pleasure of watching Jeremy Mint live and secure one of these golden tickets live on the stream as well as a bunch of other cool things that we've
been able to experience together. So shout out to you, man. Shout out to everybody in here.
Shout out to rally, dude. I see you. Let's fucking go. Erso says it's live. Ms. Hossette says she's got
two. Let's go. Post those, post those on Twitter. If you guys feel so inspired, change those
PFPs. I can't wait to see more and more. OKD start to flood the timeline.
uh we're live jd how you feeling we made it public mint phase yeah sorry give me give me a moment
i'm just sending out a bunch of course of course do your thing do your thing dad bob thank you for

Dude, just being dad, Bob, as always.
Dude, couldn't ask anything more and wouldn't want to from you.
Dad Bob is exactly, exactly what we're looking for.
Publicman is live, ladies and gentlemen, the link is live on OKD underscore XYZ.
Akela won a golden ticket as well.
Love to see all the homies who have just been rocking with OKD for such a long time,
be able to secure some of these golden tickets.
So make your way over to the OKD underscore XYZ page.
Make sure you're triple checking links, right?
And we are cooking with grease.
How are you living, brother?
And we are doing the thing.
So if you missed the last four hours...
Quick recap. We have been giving away an OKD every single hour. We had a bunch of legends
joining us from just cornerstones of the OKD community. Dad Bob's been rocking with since the
beginning. We had KT in here. We had Ms. Elfie in here. We had Stormy in here. We had hype in here,
beat me at a squat competition where he was able to win an OKD.
And we had some amazing guests as well.
Shout out to Eddie and Brittany from Hood Retail.
Shout out to Expresso from the Daily Alpha.
Shout out to Jeremy and of course Ms. Katz for jumping in here as well,
sharing some game with us regarding events, financial education, financial literacy.
We just got wrapped up with Jeremy.
All right, public is live.
Good luck on public, guys.
I was about to say the S word, but I'm in front of my daughters.
I hope you guys have a beautiful day.
And if you're going to be still streaming later, I might hop back on.
So if you guys are going still be going, I might hop back on and get pumped up again.
We'll hope to see you soon.
Appreciate you spending all the time with us that you did.
We got KT back in the house.
let me pop back in here real quick.
I do have a question for you from the group chat.
are those going to be available for the burn also?
Like if we're burning pooped,
I just had to think for a second.
it's only for the first seven days.
Because we're air dropping all the golden tickets within a week.
Okay, so there's an incentive to get your burns in.
And, you know, everything is random.
We don't have anything predetermined.
So, yeah, even from the mint to the burn, you'll be getting random.
Just double checking chat to make sure I'm not missing anything else.
We're doing the thing, though. Let's go.
So we're going to be live for another couple.
Well, another, what is it?
Bossa should be jumping in here.
And yeah, I wanted to highlight some content, of course, that we get from the community,
because it's always fun to see.
This has been a fun, a fun ride, man.
And the community has been making it that much more fun by just putting together content,
I wanted to make sure that we highlight the AI generator, of course,
which you guys have been having fun with.
Shout out to Sun Wen Moon, putting our guy, Kido, just in all kinds of funny situations.
Sun when moon is the meme god, man.
So I'm thinking we can start playing with the AI generator and see what it spits out, actually.
This is all just, I just want to go through some of these bookmarks because I've been having fun collecting them over these last three months leading up to this mint.
Got hand-drawn stuff. Again, not all of it is the AI.
Onku has been cooking, for it.
I love what they put out in terms of OKD content.
Vera, shout out to Vera holding it down.
Is there going to be the option to increase it to four?
Is it still just at the two?
Right now it's still two.
Good question, Ms. Kteen.
I'm here for the community.
So these are questions coming into the group chat that I'm just checking in.
And appreciate this post you put out actually.
Man, this is back in January.
I'm telling you, the lookbook was like, the sketchbook, sorry.
That was like, there's so many hidden gems and just so much like to get excited about looking through that.
So collectibles, IP licensing.
merch. I'm so excited about the merch, bro. Like, KT, I'm still stuck on your question from earlier.
Soul says, super new to Web 3, where can I mint? So, Sol, if you just go over to the Twitter page, OKD underscore XYZ, right here, I think my screen is sharing. I'll make it big, so it's easy. But it's OKDXYZ.
This is what it looks like.
Make sure, make sure triple quadruple check that you are on the correct OKD underscore XYZ page.
You'll see this community, 954 members.
Make sure, just quadruple check that you're on the right one.
And if you want, you can also just...
go directly to the Mint page, which is mint.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
Not live, but over over the period of four hours.
I will tag you here at Seoul.
I will go ahead and retweet it actually as well to make it easy for folks.
This is the OKD Mint live stream.
Again, we're going to have Basa in here joining us soon.
Miss Hossette says, hubby got a golden ticket.
Let's go. We love to hear that. Love to see all these golden tickets making their ways around the community.
And I'm really excited to see keto start taking over the timeline because I know I'm going to be posted mine all the time.
He's going to be going to the gym with me. He's going to be going to the beach with me.
I told JD, I don't love to post myself that much, but that's exactly what I'm going to use young keto for.
Oh, I meant to blow this up, make it bigger.
So then you collect your wallet and yeah, we're live, public.
So plenty of opportunity.
The team made sure to leave most of the supply available for public so that if you wanted an opportunity and you're paying attention and you're here, you can be a part of this community.
And I wanted to keep highlighting KT's post.
I mean, we can check out the whole website actually.
If we go to the OKD website, refresh it.
This is the OkD page if you guys haven't made it to the website yet.
I always appreciate how this was put together.
The playground coming soon.
My collection coming soon.
That's where you'll be able to actually check out your OKD collection,
which is pretty self-explanatory.
Where Boring Goes to Die.
Again, I just want to go over this.
If you haven't had a chance to check out the website yet,
I think it's really cool the way they put it together.
OKD is a premium IP brand for the odd kids by the odd kids.
You can learn a little bit more about the characters.
It's not just keto and tum,
This is the one that most people are probably familiar with
because you see him all over the place.
He's also the one that is featured on the AI generator,
image generator right now.
And again, we're going to play with this a little bit more in a bit, but just to show you exactly how it works.
It's literally just meme deck.
Meadek.xy, and you come up here, type keto.
It'll take you to this page.
And what it does is it gives you a random prompt at the beginning if you want to just use this as zombie singing in a space station in the middle of a hurricane.
Click this and it will...
populate that. It looks a little different than what it was before.
I was a zombie passionately singing in a futuristic space station.
Surrounded by swirling winds and debris from a fierce hurricane outside with glowing control panels and floating musical notes.
Generate and it splits it out. It's pretty quick.
If it's taking longer than like a few seconds, maybe just hop off and try in a bit because sometimes it can be a little buggy.
But it should generate usually less than a minute.
And there it is. This one actually came out really cool. That's supposed to be a space station. Okay. So, or you can keep it simple, right? What? As, uh, or just keto sitting on a hill over looking the sun set as it sets over a city. Let's see what it spits out.
Give it a second. I really like how these came out. Again, it's not perfect with the hands. So sometimes you got to do it a couple times.
And this would have been cool if the head was, if there were no eyeballs here, right? So sometimes it could use a little work.
But once you play with it a little bit, you'll see that you can do a lot with it. Right. So that's keto.
Hopefully in the future we can put together some more.
some more tools like that so we can get, you know, Mona in there and Chuck, Ike, Braun, Sting, Bob.
Again, the team model a lot of these after traits from people directly from the community.
Bob is probably the is actually the best example of that.
There's a absolute legend named Bob in our community.
He's actually an OKD ambassador.
Shout out Bob if you're listening.
And this is, this is, this is Bob.
I was born in the Midwest of the US.
He loves hunting nature and hiking.
Although serious due to the nature of being a head sheriff,
he loves to be a joker around his buddies.
So you can check this out.
And again, from here, you can jump over to socials,
which the team has been doing a great job of getting
You can see for yourself, 17,000 followers on TikTok.
Top pinned videos, 1 million views, 2 million views, 1 million views.
So if you enjoyed the animation, by the way, the original animation that the team posted, it was the first post ever on the page.
Then you're going to enjoy jumping over to the TikTok and seeing more stuff like that.
But this animation, if you haven't seen it yet, I'll go ahead and play it.
It was literally the first post ever. Here it is.
Our introduction to Kito and Tumtum.
Have you got a golden ticket.
nothing but love for you,
Appreciate the good energy.
Good luck on your stream.
I love to see you cooking, too.
A lot of the people we had on today
have been doing their thing on the streaming side.
Expresso from Daily Alpha.
in 30 seconds or 40 seconds,
at just encapsulating the energy of these two characters.
I mean, it makes me want to see more of Tumtum, for sure.
And again, the ability to express emotion from a character without a mouth or eyebrows,
not the easiest thing, I think, but they've been able to do that.
bro it's such a grind it is a grind soul says she minted let's go w welcome to the community soul
we appreciate you make sure to post that up so we can see it uh yeah streaming is a grind
but yeah we are cooking i mean when jd first brought up the idea of a 12 hour stream i was like
i don't know how we're gonna do it but one thing led to another here we are and we're
doing the thing 3200 people listening or you know had jumped in
Iceworld says there's a fire animation.
So this is the first post that the team actually put out ever.
We're doing the thing, bro.
Actually, it should almost be time for our next giveaway.
Listen, listen, can I just tell you when I wrote Jeremy Pools, it wasn't just...
Because this man has literally been on fire with the V-Friends community, whether it's cards, whether it's pins, like...
The dude has got the hot freaking hand.
So I'm not surprised, one.
Him getting the golden ticket was already like, okay.
And now he thinks he's pulled a rare, which he probably has.
Jeremy, drop that in the group chat, please.
Now I'm just like very curious.
For him to say he pulled a rare and a golden ticket.
Oh, he got, oh yeah, he definitely.
Thomas, you're back. How you living, brother?
Yo, I'm living, man. Just chilling outside right now.
Just doing some stuff out here.
Had to swap that PFP real quick.
Jeremy, listen, can I do it with your keyboard?
How much did you pay J.D., bro?
I literally, I have to go, but I just like, I minted, I minted right before my meeting, and then I was like going through my wallets on my phone, like, do I have any more soul?
I found one, and I fucking minted.
I literally found one soul and I was like, yeah, let's go.
I think that's got to be a right.
Wait, so you're telling me on the one account that you originally had submitted for whitelist, that's the one you got the golden ticket on.
And on this new one that you found one soul, you just happened to mint a rare.
There was a little more than one soul there, but it was one, yes.
I'm just going to let you mint for me from now on.
I'm going to send you the funds and I'm going to tell you to click the buttons because
he's got like a cloud body,
but he also has cloud glasses.
It's probably like a onezy.
He's got the cloud glasses.
Hey, you know, it's so deserving.
You've got the hot hands, man.
Couldn't go to a better first.
We'll just give it back at the next opportunity.
Okay, I got to jump, but I love you guys.
Are they going to up the mint limit?
But I do have a question, though.
Is it like, if you were technically to just mint, like, do your odds increase, I guess, is my question.
If you were to mint one...
Like if I go in just multiple times at one to get a golden ticket versus if I do a batch.
I think it'd be better to do one at a time because there's a randomizer on the mint.
The question is, I don't know, is if you mint two, does it give you two rolls to get a golden ticket?
and if so or is it per mint transaction i would imagine is per mint tx i believe it's per mint transaction
so you're correct technically if you want to increase don't call me on this i can double check
but i'm pretty sure how the logic works is each mint transaction equates to one random that man
jeremy's about to be in meetings just that makes sense i mean you it wouldn't really make
sense to program it otherwise yeah like
All right, Jeremy. Appreciate you.
I swirled to answer your question, how much was meant?
Were there fees, by the way, on top of that, or was it a clean?
I have not minted any others because I was a part of the pre-sell.
Yeah, I'm waiting to burn.
I can't wait to burn. I'm looking forward to burning my folks, which is something I thought I'd never say, by the way.
Yeah, funny you mentioned Bob.
Bob was asking, is there an incentive to burn 100 pooks at one time?
Yeah, him and his subtle flexes, bro.
It's not, it's not by per transaction.
It's, yeah, it's by per NFT minting.
You push the transaction all at once.
You technically get, let's say you burn, you're minting 10,
then you get 10 chances, for example.
Yeah. Good to know. Okay. So save yourself the time. Don't try to do it. Yeah, don't try to, yeah. Do it as a batch and you'll get what you get.
Base world. He said, wait, this man has a clone.
Aquila, you are lucky. You minted two and you got one. You're crazy. I want to see who else got golden tickets too, man.
Shout out to everybody who jumped in the stream and, like, just learned about what's going on today and decided to men.
I know at least Seoul did that.
And we love Seoul from the V-Friends community.
Shout to all the V-Friends homies who have been shown love.
A lot of the similar values, you know, in terms of community, IP, doing the thing the right way without worrying about, you know, superficial hype or...
you know, saying things just for the sake of whatever.
Like, you know, anything besides building this IP, building this brand, and adding value back to the community.
Thomas, how's your day going, bro?
You're looking forward to burning it with me, too, right?
He might have to jump back in.
There's a couple that I thought I was never going to burn like my shark onesie.
I really like my shark onesie.
And there's a couple other ones, too.
when I met with my T, I went to zero and I had to eat water.
Ice Road, you better not pretend like you weren't eating water before that.
Oh, that guy's hilarious.
I've been getting cooked in this chat all day.
I think that's just part of the,
I doesn't think it's just part of what happens when you're streaming.
Like, you just, that's how it goes.
The cooks are definitely cooking.
And also, like, shout out to hype because that is, that was fun.
And it will forever be a moment in this live stream experience.
Look, he want to go back and watch the replay of that just to make sure.
Because he definitely was doing like half.
I thought I wanted it, but looking back, maybe I clearly didn't want it enough.
I could have wanted it more.
I think it was you who said it.
Yeah, when Akila was talking mess, he was like, you got to go faster.
He's like, he's going so slow.
And you're like, oh, is this slow?
And then, oh, boy, he's, listen.
Kila, you don't want that.
You don't want that smoke.
I don't think, I don't think gambler's going to make the same mistake twice.
He said, give me 36 hours.
I think the SWAT actually helped me because standing for six hours is kind of wild.
It's kind of, it's kind of great.
You at least have like a like a padding or anything?
Dude, I am standing up in some slippers right now.
You guys are my support keeping me up.
Mosher says, how can I join this, bro?
Let me DM you over the stream link.
And we can have you up here so we can bug you as well, join the conversation.
Shout out to everybody, man.
This has been an incredible stream so far.
I swear, when J.D. first mentioned doing this, I was like, dog, I don't know how we're going to do that.
And it's just been, it's been a great time.
And shout out to all the surprise homies who've been jumping in as well.
Like, unforgettable, really.
Streaming really is a different animal.
But, you know, compared to spaces, it's, I love my spaces.
I'll never be somebody who completely ditches spaces either, but.
I used to say spaces was like the closest you can get to like actual real connections without IRL.
And it's impossible not to say streaming is taking that rule.
I was going to say to hype, if you're waiting a specific number, good luck, because it's all randomized.
JD mentioned that earlier, that even if you are the 500th mentor, you're not getting Pook ID 5.
Unless you just got some freaky luck and you get that.
they might need Jeremy to mint for you if you want that kind of luck.
you got to get Jeremy to plug in that keyboard, man.
Between him and Jassum, man,
Is everything they touch?
Jassum is just the NFT god, for real.
Like, Jassum knows what it is when it comes to NFTs.
If you ever get NFT alpha from Jassum, mint,
Yeah, we can go. So this was a cool thread by Razor. We went over this in the last live stream, but he does a really good job of covering like the vision, OKD, the plans moving forward. It's not too long, but it does just a great job of covering what it needs to cover.
validated and ready. So we'll go over this in a second. It is 430 on my side. So maybe it's about
time. Jasm said it'll hop on soon. Say less bro. Mosher also I sent you the link. So if you want to,
it's in the back in. Oh, wait. Mosh, let's go.
Okay, well, you just wanted to flex that setup and have pretty smile.
What are you guys talking about?
We're talking about OKD, brother.
This is the OKD live stream mint experience.
OK, the team with the last year.
And they're minting right now.
So the team had the founder, Mr. JD, had the great, incredible idea to have us do a 12-hour stream.
And you're sticking around for the whole 12?
I'm sticking around at least for six, and I'll be popping in and out for the second six.
The second six, I don't know if you know, Bossa.
He's going to be hosting the second six.
Yeah, and we've had some, you know, dope guests join us already
who have shared some great information.
Expresso from the Daily Alpha stop by a lot of the dope community members like KT.
You know KT, right, Mosh?
KT, Mosh, be friends, homies.
Jason is going to jump on soon.
Jason is going to talk about him trimming up his beard in my space.
So, you know, I've got high expectations, Jasim.
So you better hurry up and get on stream, mate.
So how do you feel, Mosh, in terms of like the difference between like streams and spaces?
Is there a part of you that's considering like rotating, pivoting completely from spaces just directly to streams?
Or do you see a benefit in spaces that?
is worth keeping on that path as opposed to just going all in on streams.
I think the touch points are different for streaming as opposed to spaces.
I think obviously one's an audio experience and one's more of a visual and an audio experience.
But I just do, I feel as though you can actually consolidate both of those things.
If you can get the technology, right, I was, prime example, right?
I was streaming just a minute ago just because, I mean, like, look, man, I don't really, like, I
I'm exhausted. I'm trying to stream and I'm playing this game and I can't even do the puzzles on the game because I'm so tired.
I'm like, oh man, this is not going to make for a good stream.
Actually, maybe it might actually make for a good stream if I can't do the puzzles.
They're pretty basic puzzles but I couldn't do them.
But I was actually trying to stream, so I was streaming to abstract.
And I was like, how can I stream my stuff from abstract also on Twitter, right?
And I was kind of, I was doing the guide live, to be honest with you, but I was too tired to comprehend what I was actually reading.
But I think that if you can do both of those things and consolidate them, I think it, you know, we were talking about this a bit earlier because it's not just about your touchpoints wherever it spaces versus streams, but also, like,
Because where we're at right now,
I think first mover is predominantly,
like, I think you're a great personality
for streaming anyway, I think we know that anyway, right?
And so like the long tail approach will be,
you know, the people that can build relationships
with their audiences over a long tail approach,
I think will really prosper.
So I think first mover advantage will do well initially,
but if you've got a great person,
if you got a, you know, if you're personable,
and you've got first mover advantage, then you can, I think you can stack up well against people that have well established.
I mean, like 100,000, 300,000 followers on Twitter to really distinguish yourself.
So I think it's exciting that.
Like we were just talking about just generally, you know, where the blockchain is going right now and how Abshack could be the next YouTube.
Because the only, you know,
The only real difference, apart from the decentralization aspect of abstract, I don't know if we're digressing here, but so you'll have to pull me back on subject, is the incentivization structure around it.
So, you know, through the reward structure of YouTube, you get rewards through your audience base through advertising.
So, but then you've got to have an audience.
If you don't have an audience, then you need to build momentum relationships to actually or build rapport or, you know, with your audience in order to get that revenue stream.
Whereas with abstracts, not like that.
It's like, it doesn't really matter about the audience at this moment at time,
because if you're streaming and playing the games and interacting with the blockchain,
then you still get your XP.
So I think it's an important delineation there.
You know, there's no real...
It's the first time I've seen his face like.
It's the first time we've...
I've been speaking for like three years.
I didn't even seen him on like this before.
This is what I'm talking about, though, right?
Because, you know, going back to your point about touch points,
I haven't even seen you on a FaceTime before either.
That's the point, though.
And I think when you take into consideration,
augmented rarely virtual reality, right?
sunglasses that I actually got through like a price glitch. So they were down from like $500 down to like 120. So I thought, I'll just buy them anyway. And like you put them on and you can they have like an augmented reality thing. And I think the closer we can get to in real life, there he is.
No. What's he? Is he biting off his shirt? Is he going to work?
But, I mean, I think the closer and closer we get to, you know, the humanistic reality of actually being in the room with somebody, I think that, I think we have a lot ahead of us.
But by default, Isaiah, I think people like you, people that have this personal approach to people, they are set to prosper by default because I think we're going...
I think we're going beyond the points of actually your competency and your knowledge base.
And I think the real meta is, is how well you can be a human being to somebody else, if that makes sense.
Yeah, well said. And just before you jumped on, I was mentioning that to KT and Thomas as well.
Like I used to say spaces are the best substitute for meeting someone IRL, besides obviously just meeting someone IRA.
But it's hard to say, you know, it's hard to look at streaming and not say it's absolutely feeling that role that much better.
And again, IRL is always going to be IRL. But seeing someone's face.
And even just, like I said, I love spaces because just hearing someone's voice, you can hear their cadence and you can hear lots, nothing like text, right?
And what I was going to say earlier, too, is there's no real competitor to YouTube right now.
But there's so many problems with YouTube.
And, you know, just, you know, from the advertising, from the age restriction, there's a lot of things that could be improved on YouTube as much as I love it. And it's the only thing I really stream. I don't, I don't use Netflix. I don't use Hulu. I don't use Disney Plus.
Do you watch TV anymore? That's a question. Do you watch regular people? No, YouTube. YouTube.
Yeah, but predominantly mine is interest and then like,
If I want to sit with my girl and literally discuss something that we may or may watch for 30 minutes, then we'll look on Netflix, but usually it will take too long.
Because there's so much choice.
Because I think the thing is, the mediums through which people are absorbing media, right?
It really comes down to where we can already have our attention absorbed by whatever forms of media.
But like, I feel as though it's like, how do we actually make the right decisions to actually choose what media we actually absorb?
Is it a hybrid of both of those things?
which I think, again, is a forward-facing dilemma that we have yet to, I mean, really talk about. I mean, like, not to digress the conversation too much, but, you know, if you think about, as I was saying, AR, you know, alternate reality, virtual reality, you know, the games that we're going to be having and that are going to be platforms, you know, of course, in Web 3, no doubt, are going to be so realistic. I think,
you know, I always have this tagline, which is like, how realistic, how real do your kills in
Caller Duty need to be before people get PTSD off the back of it? So there is like a, you know,
a human aspect of conflict there where it's like, well, what happens in the future? And I guess
we'll cross that bridge where we come to it. But there's at the same time, there's so many
exciting things to come. It's going to get some water. Yeah, yeah, do your thing. Yeah, a lot of good
points, Mosh. And again, that's why we wanted to make sure we prioritized doing this live stream.
It's like literally my fifth or sixth live stream ever.
I finally got the technical difficulties or the technical is exactly how I want them.
And just in time, just in time for this okay demon experience.
By the way, you're just jumping in.
We have been live for four and a half, a little over four and a half hours.
We are going to be live for another.
six, seven, eight plus hours.
This is the OKD live Mint experience.
We're here with a bunch of homies hanging out.
Shout out Mosh, Thomas, KT.
Jassum, how the heck are you doing, bro?
What was Mastra on your head about?
He said a haircut or what?
I was on his space earlier and I was shaving my beard.
That's like the trash is looking at all right now.
You still got a five o'clock shadow after a shave.
Clemente put out a post the other day and he goes,
I'm not shaving my tash until we hit all-time hires again.
What is it with crypto bros?
You're here long enough and they grow this, everybody,
they grow this same mustache.
It looks like a strong tash, man.
You look like the fat controller from fucking Thomas the Dengenjew with that thing.
It's getting to the point where I'm going to like twist it around and stuff, you know?
Have you had the opportunity?
I'm not sure if you're burning pooks or if you're...
What do I need to be doing right now?
Well, actually, it doesn't matter if you submitted wallet for whitelist because it's now in the public phase.
And the most recent link on the OKD page is actually the official link for public.
And if you have four pooks, what you can do is after public, we will have the opportunity
to burn three pooks for one, one okayD.
So for every three, you'll get one.
And that's going to happen within the next.
day or so whenever public ends.
And then you want to do that within the next seven days for sure
because we just got confirmation from the team that that's the window to qualify for the golden ticket.
There are 200 of the golden tickets.
And what that is, Jeremy was actually on here earlier.
He won live on the golden ticket.
You won the golden ticket live.
And then he jumped off, said he had another meeting.
And he was like, oh, let me see if I have any soul.
He said he found one wallet with soul in it.
And ended up minting a rare, like a cloud trait.
one of the cloud trade okay ds which you haven't seen the art yet because i know a lot of people
are like just jumping in we're on magic eden this is the actual okayd collection let me blow this up
and then i do see your question so we'll jump to that in just a second
Yo, so is eventually all like, so you were saying I can burn pooks to get an OKD?
So is like the goal to burn all pooks eventually?
You just, you can keep your pooks and your pooks are still earning you.
points on the leaderboard. So you're still getting points on the leaderboard, but you do have to own at least one OKD for those points to count.
But you're still earning points for rarity or how long you held.
And all those points, if you've been around, which you have, you know, that goes towards benefits as a holder, which there's been air drops in the past.
We did the howdy hats forever ago on the pooks, which ran up to like 11 soul, free merch.
you were able to claim a Pook's hoodie, which was super high quality, and all you had to do was pay shipping events.
So this is stuff that the team has been doing.
And actually, this goes straight into Seoul's question here.
She says, can we discuss utility or is there a place?
So if you check out, so this is like just the collection.
But if you go on the Twitter, all the information is here or even the website.
The website is really well put together, man, too.
So I wouldn't mean to go over the website, but...
Really well done. I love how, you know, the team is just so much intention behind what they've done here with OkD. And
This is like some of the characters. It's super interactive website where you can click through, learn about the lore a little bit.
Kido is the most. He's kind of the poster child right now for the collection.
But then there's also Tum Tum. And so if you click through, and this has all been available for months now, the team put this out.
Sketchbook. So this is one of my favorite parts of the website. If you haven't checked out the sketchbook yet, it's very cool. Again, very interactive.
Collectibles, IP licensing, merch.
And if you look, I mean, we talked about this earlier,
but the traits on these things, KT said you'd be like this Hawaiian one,
it's just well done stuff, man.
I mean, you either like it or you don't.
But for someone who appreciates quality art,
And even just fashion and kind of pop culture, there's something, there's, there's female traits, right?
There's something here for everybody, unless you just see this and you're just like,
Did you just see that purple puffer?
Like, this is just, it's quality, you know, and I can appreciate quality.
And part of that comes from.
JD, one of the founders, he was actually an actual tattoo artist before, which isn't everything.
There's all kinds of different artists, but I think it shows.
And also in terms of just like the design and fashion in these combinations, right?
And then to jump back to the shout out to Erso, who's in the chat, he was one of our artists.
To jump back to the sketchbook.
collectibles. So this again, already in production. And if you jump over to this thread by Razor right here, this is a great place you can see what the plans are as well.
I wanted to go over this.
We'll go over this and then we'll go over the website.
This is another one of the founders.
He lays it out very black and white here.
Test the IP before minting to ensure it resonates broadly.
So what does that look like?
This team went on TikTok and Instagram.
And before ever even announcing a mint to the web through community, they started building this IP on TikTok, on Instagram.
They've had success, right?
They've got a million views here.
This is just one of the clips.
Is it 78? I swear it said 730,000 likes or my mistake.
Oh, no, go back, go back.
737,000 likes on the main page.
Oh, oh, yeah, on the main page.
This is, you know, the pudgies is pudgies, but they're doing a lot of things right.
And if you look at what this team is doing, there definitely are places where it overlaps.
Just normie content, normally, super normie friendly, but they're doing, they're incorporating the web three because it's hard to beat a better place for community in vibes.
So as usual, the right way to do it is all the value funnels into your top supporters.
And that's going to be holders of this collection.
So 1.3 million views, 2 million views, 1.1 million views.
If you look at the website again,
Collectibles, so in terms of collectibles, when you talk about the golden ticket,
which I just alluded to before, I mean, I'm kind of all over the place.
Let's go over this first.
Test the IP, so that's what they did, spread the word and onboard true believers.
The IP, so a year ago, we launched Pooks.
So that's where, I mean, a lot of us know each other from V friends, but we then got into
Pooks, which was the collection that launched over a year ago, as an essentially free mint to test the waters.
While we build a strong core community, we realized the IP didn't resonate as much as we wanted.
So they pivoted. Even though the community was there and they were adding a ton of value for holders,
Web 3 just wasn't resonating with IP as expected.
And so what they did was they went back to the drawing board, created this new IP,
went to Normie internet first, tested it, was successful there, then came here, validated and ready.
This time around, we made sure to test OKD in Web 2 and Web 3 before bringing it to the blockchain.
With over 10 million plus social media impressions, we knew we hit the spot.
The Mint next week we're doing our things our way, curated white list, large portion open to public.
So the team was really intentional about making sure that the majority of the supply was on public.
So that folks had opportunity to get access to it if they wanted.
The art, the bubbles, man.
We'll see who gets the bubbles. I really like the bubbles one.
Postman plans. Okay. So we've seen it too many times. A project man stang goes quiet for months, not us.
We're ready to roll toys, a point system for collectors, which if you're from poops, you know what that looks like a little bit.
And you know the benefits of that. It's not just some, you know, vanity metric. It actually plays out.
You know, my hoodie is one of my favorite pieces of merch that I own. Unique badges. Also,
What kind of sometimes gets overlooked when it comes to these point systems is how it does a great job at valuing midrares.
Oftentimes midrares get lost in collections because they're midrares.
If you don't have a super rare, it's kind of usually get priced as a floor.
Well, what these badges does is it rewards you for how long you held.
It rewards you for different traits that you hold.
And that plays out into once again, air drops.
opportunities, toys, collectibles, merch,
and the team has examples of shipping
all of this stuff already in the past.
And it says more surprised.
Look, this is exciting for me.
I tried to get more out of JD in the team for this,
but he was very tight-lipped.
A free non-dilutive collection for holders.
So looking forward to seeing what that looks like.
I have some ideas, but I won't speculate too much.
and it's for the odd kids by the odd kids this is tum-tum this is keto i also asked j jd if we're
going to be seeing more of tum-tum along the way he confirmed yes but kind of left it at that
collectibles toys and drops okayd universe comes alive with vinyl toys blind boxes and collectibles
so when it comes to the toy and the golden ticket
If you did mint and you saw a golden ticket, which Jeremy just got one earlier,
what that means is you're going to be getting one of these toys,
which is already in production.
It's going to be shipped soon.
And the team has already posted a preview of what these toys will look like.
But animations, again, this animation is really cool.
This was the first post they ever put out.
And so that, you know, I know I went way longer than answering your question, Jessum.
But yeah, if you have three, if you have four pooks, you're going to be able to burn three.
And you can hold on to that last one.
You're still going to be earning points on the leaderboard, but you're going to need to at least hold one OKB.
Just to speak a bit more to that, Isaiah, just looking at those metrics about likes and impressions.
So if you look at like those impressions that was like, you know, over 10 million impressions,
so that would indicate, in my opinion, the reach that is being gained as a result of the platforming on TikTok, right?
And then the likes, in my opinion, is the engagement and the appetite for the actual brand.
When you compare that to, I literally, when you were talking,
I literally pulled up V-Friends on TikTok,
there is no, like, and V-Friends is a billion dollar valued company.
there is a stark comparison between those two brands in terms of the reaching impressions that they're getting.
So, for example, I'm just literally tuned from the hip bit.
So, you know, 10,000 likes by comparison on TikTok on the same platform.
So I really do feel as though when it comes to this specific brand, there's a lot more traction.
You know, I think it's certainly walking in some very big boots for where it's out.
And just like, I mean, those figures are incredible, man.
when you really stack it up against, you know, these massive brands that are like V-Friends that are also in the space.
Yeah, well said. And, you know, props, props to B-Friends is doing a lot of things right.
And this team has been around the block.
You know, so they're looking at what other teams are doing.
They're considering metrics like these.
And again, this is just one example, but they went out and made sure that they got,
the validation from the market, from the attention market,
before coming here and shipping this new IP.
So this is something again that most teams do after the fact.
which is just something that kind of happens in business and in life in general, right? Oftentimes,
people can create a product or a service. And, you know, that's why they say you're supposed
to make a minimum viable product because people put so much time and resources into shipping this
thing that they think everybody wants, only to then find out that, oh, well, it's not as in demand or as in need, or it's not
you know, solving the problem as much as, you know, you may have originally thought.
So this is just one example, but it is, it is one that matters, right?
Also, if you, if you want some wallpapers, they have wallpapers here on the, on the Instagram,
almost 4,000 followers on the Instagram, that's loading.
Gambler, can I also mention just Discord.
So if you're not in the Discord, I know people have love, hate relationship with Discord.
So I might be projecting a little bit.
But you do want to pop in there because there are quests that you could start doing to gain these candies.
And candies are something that are going to be in the ecosystem that are going to be meant to be used to...
you know, unlock different things.
So I know like SoulJ just purchased,
go to the OkD Twitter page,
Go directly to the link there.
Get into the Discord, verify ownership.
And there are, I believe, some, like, starter quests that are already out there.
But as J.D. mentioned in the group chat, if you're not collecting candies, you're not going to make it.
I'm just relaying the message.
to anyone that is listening to this recording or may have missed that, but it sounds like they've got a idea of what they want to do.
And we've kind of talked about as a community on some of the previous spaces of things we potentially want to see or, you know, could potentially use candies on.
So you might want to just start going in there.
collecting those candies and keep an eye out for the quest.
Make sure you hit the little reaction bot to get the questing roll.
So you will get pinged when the quest do go out.
And I will say I am a part of other discords where they have this kind of thing.
And there's not nearly as many pings for the OKD quest because the one thing I do respect about this team is they've gone about creating this kind of organic following.
So they're not just trying to get people farming for candies.
by trying to get all these quests done.
They're very, I would say, like, methodical.
And, yeah, they're very intentional about the quest that they're having us do.
So I will say it's one of the, it's one of the discourse that I'm in where I'm like,
okay, I know if I get this role, I'm not going to be inundated like 10 times a day with
get some candy. So again, if it's something that you're, you know, into, I'm doing it because I do
believe in this team and I do want to be able to unlock all the things that they have coming down
the pipeline for us, but they did stay candies are going to be something that you will need to,
you know, one use case, and I'm comfortable saying it because JD already had put it out there,
but it's like you could redeem your candies to get a full body,
maybe you have the artistic skills to be able to maybe do that.
But, you know, like myself, I don't have the artistic skills to do that.
So that's something that candies would be a use case that I could potentially redeem my candies
and then have my OKD have a full body.
So, you know, that's just one use case.
But there's so many other things that I know they're working on that they're cooking.
So I just wanted to mention that.
No, that's a great point, KT.
additional kind of context there.
As soon as, dude, I don't like Discord.
I'm not alive, but that just is a testament to the discourse that I am in
because, like, those are the ones that, you know, I actually get something out of.
That's really what it comes down to.
Dude, like, we all have lives.
And I actually just really love Twitter.
So that's just what it is.
But the communities that I am in, it's because...
It's because it's mutually beneficial, right?
And so when it comes to hearing about candies and quest,
a part of my brain definitely just wants to turn off.
But your point about your extra context about,
it's not that many pings.
the pings that you do get,
they result in like tangible stuff.
this is one example that I have up right now.
It's just a meme generator, essentially.
Well, we have the AI meme generator,
which is something else that I'll go into in a bit.
We were looking at it earlier.
But this is, you know, just helping creators create.
I mean, even this live stream, I'm getting a little off topic,
but this team, part of their North Star
is to support and elevate its community members.
And they do that by paying attention to what's going on in the space.
Bringing it to the forefront. Even what JD did with JD did with me. He's like, dude, live streaming is the way you got a live stream. Like that's what we're doing. So like let's figure it out. We hopped on multiple calls, figured out the technical difficulties. And that just makes me a whole better.
create tour in general. You know what I'm saying? Not only that, we got the homie KT up here.
We got Thomas up here. We got Dad Bob up here. We got hype up here. Hybrid. You know, Coke.
Some people, Elfie, some people, it may have been their first dream. Some people, they may have
been doing it for a long time. You know, Mosher, Jassum, a lot more experience. Some people were just
getting started like Elfie. But the thing is...
The team is there to support, right?
Like if you want to start a spaces,
if you want to put out content and you reach out to JD and the team,
they will be open to that idea of helping you create, you know, a graphic, you know, something cool to help you get it out there.
And this is just one example.
I said I got a little bit off topic with the candies, but this is directly tied to the candies.
Like this customize your OKD.
That's how you can do this.
KT mentioned the full body rendition of your collectible.
And at the end of the day, that's what these things are, right?
They're JPEGs on the blockchain.
You get to be a part of the community.
You're going to get access to all this stuff in terms of IRL events.
I love this sketchbook, by the way.
IP, the team has mentioned down the road.
as they continue to build out this IP.
You do own your IP rights too, by the way,
every single one of your OKDs.
man. I was literally, I'm doing notes on what you're saying. And then you said that and I was like, I can't have to buy in and say this brand's got to figure out like they really are taking like a 360 degree approach when it comes to the brand positioning plus the discord. Like and then you guys are telling us about the discord about the fact that you're only literally given a literal tangible actual things that you are required to be made aware of. I don't think God like finally a brand that understands people have like normal lives.
and that only offer like something that is required of them
when it comes to actually notifying them with Discord.
Because like, you know, Discord for me is like chat rooms amongst chat rooms
and trying to navigate is overwhelming in itself.
So I really think, I mean, just like every, it just seems like
It seems like the founders have been in Web Free to, you know, to an extent where they understand all of the holdups that are in Web Free currently and have just essentially overcome all of those things with the token holders in mind and platform the brand so well when it comes to like, you know, just those, those metrics that we were looking at earlier, man.
So literally like, and then you said the IP rights and I was like, oh, fuck this.
This is like, this is like everything you'd want for from a brand man.
So but listen, I've got to go.
Yeah, I'll let you speak to that and now I just got a bounce man.
No, I'm just going to say, you know, you're very impressed.
You say you say overcome and that's the goal is to overcome.
But at the very least, they've looked at these things that we've all seen over the last three years.
At the very least, they're addressing them.
They're looking at and they're saying, how can we address this concern, this gap in value that is missing from unfortunately so many other projects?
And how can we look at the projects that are succeeding in certain ways in those gaps and apply that here so that it makes our holders happy at the end of the end.
And it's still not going to be for everyone, right? But if it is,
It's a really great place to be.
But Masher, thank you so much for stopping by, man.
One day I will have a setup like that.
Until then, we will be standing in front of this computer.
But appreciate you, brother, and we'll be talking soon.
Man, Mosher is a critic, too.
And it's just, it's comforting.
Like you said, like it's not for everybody.
But you cannot say that the team did not look at what's working and what's not working in the space and apply those concepts, those ideas to this.
And it's just, I keep going back to this and KT feels me.
The essence of quality and everything that they do, like this website, like it's just, you can say it's just a website and it is just a website.
But essence of quality, right?
The art, you know, it's not for everyone.
Again, it's not for everybody, but, but it's, it's, it's there, you know, like you
can't say okay, be fashion.
Like me and KT are looking at these and we're like, dude, like when merch, when
The teeth, I'm telling you, as I'm scrolling through and like now that more people are minting, like we're getting new traits that are popping up.
I'm just like, geez, Louise, like just send me a custom snapback now.
I want I want, I want beanie.
And I don't even wear beanies like that.
Like some of those hoodies look so comfy.
And then, you know, that speckled jacket,
we were talking about, the paint splatter one.
Like, that's a piece right there.
I'm just like, man, this is giving such, like,
2021 vibes where you just like would just stare at traits like I literally would be in like the dapper dynos we would be in spaces and we would just be scrolling through traits all night like dang we never saw that trait so it's just like when you have the good art there it just it just makes it just easy collecting like I don't know it's just something about it it's just like dang they really did their big one with this
You either dig it or you don't, but the people that are here for the ride, you know, you know why you're here.
You know what you're going to get out of it.
And it's either for you or not.
The team is very straight up.
There's no smoking mirrors.
And that's what I appreciate.
You know, I like the JPEGs, man.
I've always liked the JPEX.
Shout out to everybody who's been rocking with us.
Merch is what, well, the toy too.
KT, I'm glad we could get you one of them golden tickets.
Listen, I'm really hoping.
I really am hoping that I get an airdrop and I get one air draft I mean.
And then like definitely it's coming to you, bro.
I was going to make sure my bro got one because, listen, if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have known about no pooks.
I wouldn't have been in this community.
So I got to always make sure to take care of the fam first, you know.
I'm glad I could get you one.
A couple things happened in this stream already.
It's like, what the fuck?
Jassum, you know, I lost the squat competition earlier to.
Actually, that reminds me, you got to do another giveaway.
But somebody said, somebody challenged me to a squat competition for an OKD.
and I lost. Can you believe that? Can you believe that?
Well, it's got to give the context first because you just.
No, that's horrible. Look, that's how I know.
It's bad when the guy that was squatting against him stopped halfway through and he's still lost.
You got to give the context.
It's not like I just did 43.
You have to say because it's important.
that it was how many you could do in one minute.
So I could have kept going.
Actually, I guess 43 isn't bad in general, but I could have kept going, but it's one minute
and he beat me by one, but KT is right.
That's the context you wanted to add that he stopped off.
That's the context that you wanted that.
I thought I had it in the bag.
I do think that if you would have just, if we didn't put a time on it, that would have
been very interesting, but I just didn't know how long it was going to go.
what we know, we should have just went the distance.
Yeah, knowing yet, because he stopped.
He stopped, like, literally, like, 40 seconds into it.
But he did have a very fast pace.
Like, he started off very strong.
And I think that's where he got you because...
If you would have started out strong the way that you put it into another gear when you saw that comment that said, you're going too slow, definitely you would have taken off.
We got the little lady joining us.
Spending some time with pops today.
It looks really sunny where you guys are at.
Yeah, it's shining, but it's still cold out here.
But we got to touch grass every day out here, man.
That's what it's all about.
Thanks for sharing pops with us on his day off, little lady.
Having a good time over here.
She's got your light, bro.
You can tell that spirit.
Thank you, man. Yeah, she loves the, she loves all this stuff. We were scrolling through some of the, um, okayDs on there earlier. I'm going to have to, uh, wait until these things, uh, hit the, hit the streets for secondary, because, uh, there's some, I'm eyeing for her, for sure.
Oh, man, I want to see what she ends up with.
I can't wait to jump into my phone and just like dive into like everybody who's posting, see who's changing their PFCs.
Add some people to the group chat.
Get some fresh blood in there.
So I don't have to hear the same bozo jokes every other hour.
Coke spamming his super flex, super dude.
Coke is ripped though, bro.
Like that is actually goals.
Like don't tell him I said that.
Coke, if you're watching, you didn't hear that.
But Coke is doing his thing in the gym.
And shout out to the O.C.
Gee, I'm about to pop off, but I'm going to hop back on when I get home.
We're going to bounce two real quick.
So how long are you on this for today?
How long are you on stream?
50 minutes, but I'll probably join, I'll probably hang out with Bossa a little bit. But I don't know how we got five hours into this, man. That is five hours in.
That's crazy, Brian. And I could not have done it. You know how it is, bro. You can't do it. I mean, it depends what you're doing. I guess if you're gaming or if you're, you got some talent, unlike me and you're drawing or something or trading, there's certain things you can get away with, but.
I'm doing a lot of yapping and I couldn't do that if it was just me up here.
So we've had some homies coming in.
Eddie and Brittany from Hood Retail.
We had Expresso from the Daily Alpha, like just.
And then surprise guests like yourself and Mosher and Thomas's little lady.
KT has been holding it down too.
Dad Bob, they've been rocking for a good, significant portion of this.
I'm never going to forget this, dude.
I remember two, three, four weeks ago, I was like, the thought of a stream just was like, no.
Like, I would much rather just do spaces.
But at the same time, at a certain point, push comes to shove.
And you're just like, you have to acknowledge that streams aren't going anywhere.
And I don't really consider myself a creator like that.
You know, I'm just somebody that has fun on the internet.
You got it, you got to, you got to kind of, if I, if part of what I.
Yeah, that next level, like you're, you're, you're, I know you're like a spaces guy.
It's just like that next, the next level, right?
More, more, more interactive for the audience and, uh, absolutely.
Like you say, you've been sitting here yapping for the last however many hours.
It's just great practice.
So it's like getting that muscle going, just, just yapping.
I've been finding that doing my abstract streams.
Like I'll be sitting there and maybe like the first, I don't know,
first 20 minutes, half hour, there's like three people.
And I'm just like, and you're not talking to anyone.
So I'm just talking like trying to like make conversation.
It's pretty hard to do, man.
It takes a lot of practice for real.
Yeah, it makes me actually want to figure out how to stream gaming or something that's a little bit more interactive.
Gaming is like the first thing that comes to mind.
Maybe fitness, but like, I don't know if I have that confidence yet.
So, like, you know, but there's a chick and she does Pilates on Abstract.
Yeah, which I think is dope.
I was saying this to someone earlier.
Like, if you go into Abstract right now and you look at the streamers, there's probably
about 30, 40 people streaming.
and they're all playing the same games.
They're all playing abstract games.
I feel like someone to more exciting things like that.
Like someone doing Pilates or I don't know,
some in real life streams would be cool.
Like, yeah, definitely good.
I do walk a lot and I am out here like in PR.
Like maybe something like, you know,
GoPro vibes or something.
I would have to figure out the technique.
how do you pull that off?
how do I stream on the street?
I can't carry my fucking monitor and shit.
I think you just do it from your phone, right?
you would need one of these like OBS platforms as an app, right?
Because Julie, Julie, who was on our spaces about streaming, she said that she just pulls out her phone and streams sometimes.
You know, what's unfortunate is that Twitter, the video function doesn't function as a basic live stream yet.
It just, first of all, it's very glitchy and doesn't, it's not reliable.
But even if it was, it functions as a spaces plus video.
So the algorithm still doesn't push it.
It doesn't get that pink border around it.
It's still behind all the live streams.
Not to mention all the bugs that unfortunately come with it as well.
So that would be an easy way if they could incorporate it straight into the Twitter app.
But man, they can't even, I love Twitter and I love spaces, but they can't even get spaces right now.
You know what I'm saying?
Like I'm getting booted out of spaces every other day.
Thankfully, I guess maybe because this is going through a third-party app, maybe that's why it's more reliable.
But I haven't had issues with any streams so far, like besides my own fault, you know, on the back end.
But you could fix that too.
A lot of that is addressed just by...
jumping in the studio early in testing.
Plug your mic in, make sure everything's working.
Have somebody else jump in with you to make sure it sounds good and looks good.
But how are your streams going?
You feel more in the groove lately?
I might, um, I might hop on one in a little bit.
I've kind of like the last week, I've, like, trading memes has felt good again.
So I might, uh, I might just, I might just chuck the stream on, but not, like,
just trade memes and chill for a bit.
I'm like, I'm just about to smoke up.
I'm just going to go smoke and chill, but they're going good, man.
Yeah, it's just, it's just going to be a slow grind, you know?
Like I say, most, especially on abstract, if you don't already have an audience of streaming,
or you're like a well-known creator.
Like, I consider myself a very small creator.
I only have like 3,000 followers or something.
So if I'm streaming, there's only, I think the most people I've had on a stream is like 10 people.
I'm just enjoying the practice and the journey at the moment.
like just setting up my fucking camera and downloading OBS
and learning how to work everything out
and all the cables I needed.
I had no idea about any of this shit.
I feel like I've learned so much in just the last few weeks
just from, like, fucking around me streaming.
Even if they're not the most, like, crazy streams
hella views and shit like that.
I do what like one of my next smaller goals for streaming is to figure out and I think I might just need a chord,
like a specific chord, to get the audio from my laptop to play into my phone so that I can properly actually do stream and spaces at the same time.
Like, and actually I know it's possible because, uh, nifty portal.
Dude, those, those MFers are so ahead of their game.
Like, they've been doing it forever, like forever and ever since YouTube days.
Uh, Stormy, what's going on, brother?
Stormy, you know, BASM, Stormy?
Yeah, I've seen Jassam stuff.
Chilling. I was watching the stream and then I saw Gambler bought a couple people up and I was like, yo, let me come hang with the crew.
Yeah, I mean, I know Gamble was doing six hours, so I wanted to support as much as I could.
Dude, you're a legend. All of you, all of you are too good to me, despite all the roasts for my weak squat game. But yeah, you guys have made this like super fun to be in the final stretch. I do actually, this is perfect time. Let's do another giveaway. And we only have 45 more minutes. I have another golden ticket to give away as well.
One per two hours, right? I believe. No.
Yeah, well, I got two for the six. I tried to break it up.
Look at that. Time flies, bro. When I step away from this computer, it's going to be a weird feeling.
Because I've been standing in front of this thing for the last five hours. So when I like go back out into the real world, I'm going to be wondering where the studio buttons are.
How do I bring people up? I'm like, oh, my God, this is.
But okay, I think if my, if my, if my, if my memory serves me correct, I've given out three okay these to hype, babs, and elevated.
Oh, I'm glad babs go one.
Yeah, we had to get back.
She was cooking in the chat.
So let's see who's the chas slowed down a little bit.
We went over the website, we went over the mint page,
we went over a couple threads.
We're featuring the collection here right now.
If you're in chat right now, say what's up, let us know.
We've done all of the giveaways through active people here in the spaces or in the stream.
I'm going to keep messing that up for another week or two.
But say what's up if you're here.
If you're here, you have an opportunity to win an OKD right now.
And otherwise, we'll give it a few minutes and let some people jump in, give somebody the opportunity to win.
Is that a, I see a Lasaget in the chat.
Shout out to the Lasagetz, represented for Bitcoin.
Yeah, chat on Alasaget's here.
Okay, the homies are here.
I see a bearish in the crowd.
It's like the number one abstract, like PFP,
the bear with the head phone.
That one's still cooking, right?
That one's still doing well.
I bought my first one the other day.
I know they have a solid community so far.
So I put a post up, right?
I bought one and I posted up on Twitter like, oh, hey, I've just bought a bearish thing.
And my tweet, yeah, it had 70 views, but it also had 70 likes.
But it grew up, it went crazy, but I was like, how the fuck is the view to like ratio like that?
Like literally every person that had seen it must have liked it.
It was, yeah, crazy engagement.
I love that when an NFT community are good at raiding.
Dude, that's, yeah, ratios are important, right?
Like, it's not always about the final number, but it's like how many people viewed it,
how many people are fucking with it actually.
Yeah, it just gets you excited, doesn't it?
When like just people are going crazy and, yeah, like an active NFT community like that.
It's just the most fun thing in crypto.
So on Twitter, this is a little bit off topic, but in terms of metrics, on Twitter,
What I look at sometimes is like impressions.
I've heard impressions is just the number one metric.
And I've heard someone else say that bookmarks are the number one metric.
I think both are important.
But the ratio from likes to views is,
I think like I used to look at that and I'm like the higher ratio I can get to views the better.
But I think the algorithm will kind of make it so that you'll always end up with like a five to kind of not even 10, but like more like four to like seven percent like to view ratio.
And I think when you're above that, when you're hitting like maybe 10 percent or 20 percent.
then you'll get boosted more and you'll get more views.
And the algorithm will continue pushing that tweet out until people start liking it less.
And you end up because I see like mostly all of my tweets have like a five,
like I said, five to seven percent like to view ratio.
It's kind of a nerdy metric, but...
It's caused me to kind of not look at that specific ratio as much because I have a theory that the algorithm will kind of make it balance out to in that five to seven rate percent range. Does that make sense?
So I don't know. But I do appreciate the take that like impressions in general.
I think that's, I think I would agree with that.
I think impressions, if you're looking at metrics, if that's something, you know, you like to consider.
I think impressions is probably the number one I would, I would put in terms of indicators.
We do have a few friends in here.
Haymakers here, Miss Hossette's here, Raleigh dude is here, Cosmos is here.
If anybody else is here, tap in.
I'm probably just going to, well, not me.
I'm going to take the pressure off me.
But I'll let Jassam pick our next giveaway winner here.
So Jassum, you can pick, give it, I mean, another minute.
I'm just picking someone randomly.
I might even get a little.
You can make a little, you can change it up.
You can pick somebody randomly, however you want to do it.
I'm going to set up a spinning wheel and chuck the names in quickly.
Like a haymaker, Jassim, you look great, bro.
Hey, Sid, I just threw a, you look good.
They're glazing, they're glazing.
We all know Jassim does not look good.
We don't know Jassim the best compliment wins.
Have you been working out, he said?
The spinning wheel is good.
So you're a better man than me.
I'm always too lazy to pull up the spinning wheel.
And I'm just like, I either put it on somebody else or I just pick myself.
Yeah, rally dude, Cosmos.
Mrs. Hossett, you could just put Mrs.
Rally, dude, making sure I'm not missing anyone.
And yeah, okay, one more time making sure me.
If I'm missing you, speak now, forever old your peace.
Speak up if you want to get added in.
We've got Haymaker, Rally, dude, Cosmos.
You could pull one of those golden tickets, too, no?
We could, yeah, it's going to have to happen within the next. I mean, yeah, within the next, you know what? I might leave that to you. Yeah, I might leave that to you. You get to pick the last golden ticket winner. How about that? That's a lot of pressure, man. That's a lot of pressure.
You can say no if you want.
If you want to say no, I can take care of it.
I don't even have a way to, like, check these chats.
Okay, okay, fair enough, fair enough.
All right, I'm gonna spin this wheel.
Fuck, I'm not my speaker over, bro.
Congratulations, Rally, dude.
Right, I'm shooting off, man.
I appreciate you having me up.
Good luck with the rest of the space.
And I'll speak to you guys soon.
All right. And then there were two. How's your day at work going today, Stormy?
It's going, man. Meetings. I'm glad I was able to chime in during my lunch. No one bothered me earlier.
Met a lot of cool people, man. That was great watching you do the Squat Challenge live.
I mean, that was like a cool...
I guess you could say I did do a little bit of fitness on the stream.
It was a little bit of a fitness.
Maybe that's your next calling, right?
You can do your spaces for Web 3, and then you can do live streams for fitness content.
That's what I was just talking to Jasum of actually before you got here.
By the way, is my camera laggy on your end, or is it just me?
Some lag here and there, but it's not like consistent, so it's okay.
Wow, this is me after five power.
You got to upgrade your Walmart collection.
Let me turn off this blur back.
The blur effect does, it takes up a lot of memory.
All right. That's much better. Okay.
Boom. Congrats to route. Dude, I'm like, for the life of me, I hope I didn't forget anyone.
Like hype, Babs, elevated, Rally, dude.
Elevated, Babs, hype. If you're in the chat, okay, laggy for Haymakers, I just turned that out, so it should be fine.
If you're in the chat and you won, I know I said, so Rally, dude, make sure you DM me your soul address.
If you're in the chat, and I said this after every winner, but I'll say it again now,
make sure that you DM me your wallet address, your sole wallet address.
And if for some reason, no, I have messages open, so you should be able to do that even if we're not connected yet.
So does that mean how many do I have left?
I have 30 minutes left here.
And we did, okay, one, two, three, four, five, five.
So I should only have five to give out.
Not six, even though it's six hours.
The first hour, 12, well, no, actually 12 to 1.
I don't even know how many you had to give out?
So one per, so that means I'm behind.
So I mean, did I really, but I'm like having trouble believing that I see.
I'm having trouble believing that I really missed two people.
Like didn't give out too.
I'm just hoping I didn't forget anyone.
The team is just going to have to give out an extra one if I mess up.
But hype, Babs, elevated rally dude.
Just in time to troll me, of course.
I got you on my list for sure.
Thank you so much for that reminder.
I see. Well, you know what? Actually, not you mention it.
Hype, Babs, elevated, rally, dude, 12 to 1, 1 to 2. I know this is stupid, but 2 to 3. I just want to make sure 3 to 4, 4 to 5. 5 to 6. So 6, so I should have 6.
Oh, yep, I just got the message that my live recording will automatically end in 30 minutes.
But then Boussa is going to start up another one right at that time anyway.
Yeah, I was going to ask how that transition was going to work.
Yeah, so the plan that we're on, here, I'm hearing an echo.
Yeah, the plan we're on has six hours.
So I see said we're just can't.
I just want to make sure that I have six to give out, which of course is basic math.
Well, Stormy, you know what?
I'm going to give one to you.
So I'm going to put you down.
I don't know if you saw what I minted.
Nothing crazy to my knowledge, but I did get that gold face with the green skelly hoodie.
I put it in the Discord as well as the action chat.
Let's see what you're talking about.
I cannot wait to burn my...
Yeah, I got a few to burn, too.
But now that you bring it up, like my two that I've held since that first week,
if it accumulates more points and badges, maybe I won't burn those two.
Yeah, and actually that's a good point, because if you have a rare,
it does make sense to continue earning on those points.
It's not just an aesthetic thing.
Like my droid is going to keep burning me points.
So it actually doesn't make sense to burn that one.
I missed out on getting a droid.
I mean, there's still chances to get one, but I remember Mello was trying to get some liquidity.
He sold that one to Coke, that droid.
And that was the one I was looking to purchase, but then I got sent out for a work trip, and I completely forgot.
And then Coke ended up with it.
But that was a nice droid.
Other than that, like I said, my two other ones, I mean, they're ranked high, but I don't really know if it's actually rare.
Did you say you dropped yours in the chat?
Yeah, it was in the X chat, what I, when I meant it.
It was a picture of four of them.
What's up, Babs? How are you doing?
The echo should be gone now.
Let me know if you guys still hear it.
Stormy, did you post it on your page or you just shared it?
It was in the X chat or in Discord.
Okay, well, we'll see it later.
I'm trying to find it in the X chat.
But it's great seeing all of these new men's, man.
And I saw, I don't know if it was intentional, but the goggles kind of has like that salmata colors-ish to it.
Somebody else was noting that too in another one that we were looking at.
I still got to, if you want me to call it.
Let's have all the friends up here.
Let me ask you, Gamler, how's it feel to do one of your longest dreams ever?
I don't know if you would put yourself through this again.
Man, I need a better setup because standing for six hours is crazy work.
Uh, Icy wants to come up. Say less. Okay, let me send this over to Icy too.
You go, I see. Um, it feels great though, man. Like, it's almost like a marathon. I mean,
I guess I wouldn't know because I've never ran a marathon, but in the metaphor, in the metaphorical
sense, I've done spaces before too, right? But it's it's a whole different animal. And I can't
remember the last time I've done it.
Six-hour spaces. I mean, that must maybe last bull run like it's you know maybe three four hours
Brand what's up brand? Get up here. Get up here.
What was the last time you stood for six hours man? Well, you know actually I walk a lot
So like especially out here and
It's not super uncommon that I'll just put a backpack on.
Not with a goal of walking for six hours,
but just end up walking six hours or plus or whatever.
No, we're waiting for the friends to jump in here.
So that, you know, but like walking.
I'm hearing an echo again.
Testing, testing, testing.
You guys are just playing with me right now.
So I just got a, I just got a testing, testing.
I just got to turn my mic off and on.
No, but there it is again.
Yeah, standing for six hours.
Standing for six hours might be harder than walking for six hours.
So I used to, I did some, when I was back in college to make some money, right?
I was doing security for a bank at some point overnight, a bank corporate building.
So, I mean, there was times where I had to stand for seven hours.
But like, it gets to a point where...
I'm not to say you don't feel it, but you kind of get numb to it and you just kind of like do it.
The human body is amazing, bro.
The human body is, especially your legs.
People don't understand how much strength is actually in your lower body.
Obviously, because you're using it all the time.
But in general, this was really cool to see like 3,600 people came in and out of here.
There's nothing like being, even if you don't jump up on the stream, there's nothing like being able to directly engage with the chat like this.
Spaces doesn't doesn't compare.
Miss Babs, what is going on?
Oh, I don't know about that, but here I am.
You look like you accomplished all your goals today.
I've been on this face a lot, so that was one of my main goals was to be here, be supportive, to just enjoy the whole process.
These are my favorite times.
And we're in the final stretch.
I still have to give out one more OKD.
Yeah, and I have one more golden ticket.
That one's kind of a lot of pressure.
That was a lot of pressure, yeah.
It's so good to see both of your smiling faces.
I don't know, Stormy, if I've ever seen you.
So that's part of the reason.
Yeah, because I've never seen you in, I don't know, person, but like this.
But we've chatted many times for sure.
Stormy, we got to get you out to one of these IRL events, bro.
Art Basel was so much fun with the eclipse.
I saw your pictures and definitely missed out.
I do get FOMO, but it's one day.
But there's things you got to do.
Hey, New York's happening.
I mean, I can't say no again, like, if you come to New York.
So, OKD is actually planning something.
The first time I met the OKD team in person was NX, Y, C.
Yeah, well, yeah, Chick-fil-A.
It's just I got something, a meeting came open.
Yeah, it was Chick-fil-A, and it was just us.
Jeremy was there and the founding team, Razor, Joyboy.
It was amazing meeting those guys.
Of course, yeah, Dexter and of course my goat, J.B.
And of course, if you remember the lore, you guys probably do Babs.
You might not be aware, but the whole joke was like Pooks minted for the price of a Chick-fil-A sandwich meal.
And so that was always the joke.
And so when we, we didn't have anything big plan for NFT and YC,
but we're like, we want to get together.
And so we went, we went to Chick-Polay.
It was delicious because who doesn't love some chick-fil-a.
Yeah, so guys talk to me about NFT, New York.
I'm thinking about going, it's a long, like I'm from California.
It's like all the way across.
I'm also feeling a little bit more scared about that than going like to art basil because I'm like I'm New York City single woman.
I kind of got the sense of like of what it's like.
People are amazing like the clips.
People were amazing and stuff like everybody kind of did their own thing unless you were really tight with somebody.
I'm not really tight with anybody.
like, what do I do, like, as a single woman?
Is it, like, because New York City seems a little more scary to me
than Art Basil did, if I'm being honest.
I think you do my take, you know, I've grown up, I've born and raised in New York.
I'm definitely jaded to a lot of the things.
And like you said, you know, you have the female aspect.
I don't, I can't say what it's like to experience it from that angle.
I mean, like, if you stay in a city...
And during a day, I would say you're fine, right?
I mean, you're not venturing out into, like, the burbs or neighborhoods where you shouldn't be, right?
And most of these events are in main areas.
So I would say, with that, you don't have much to worry about.
However, you know, there's always some crazies here and there, right?
Oh my god, Street Street.
Okay, can I have my hair?
To be honest, I have a big baby fan, but that baby is actually really cute.
There should be a little mic.
Right above the bottom line.
Did you say you're not a big baby fan?
That's the funniest thing I've ever heard.
If my friend has a puppy, I'm like, can I come?
I'm like, oh, congratulations.
I love the honesty, though.
That is the funniest thing.
And I never, ever would imagine that would come out of Babs' mouth.
What is it? Is it the throw up? Is it the drool?
It's the floppy neck. It's to throw up. It's the, it's, it's, they're scary to me.
Like, they got that floppy head and you can do all.
Oh, man. This is the best laugh I've gotten on stream.
Eight months, nine months old. Then they're better at that point, but, you know, a,
Baby, like that baby, she was also so cute or he was so cute, like the big eyes and that was very cute.
No, that's what is, that's her name, right? That's the newer baby. I see.
And then Eli's our boy and he's upstairs because I needed a break because he just stopped
napping now all of a sudden.
And we get to see Eli all the time too because Coke takes him out on walks and I love
You guys had some much needed wholesomeness to my timeline while Elon is trying to get me
to watch triggering videos all day long of fights.
and things just, yeah, I wouldn't.
And then people are like, oh, the algorithm is suited to you.
I feel like every one account that I block, 25 new ones come up.
I mean, even if you block Elon, you still get his stuff.
I rarely, I usually get something from him, but I don't rare.
I don't get much from him at all.
I feel like if I block or mute someone, it does a decent job.
The one thing I will say is if you mute someone and someone else retweets their stuff,
And that's kind of annoying.
So then I have, but you could, the good thing is you can turn off repost for people.
No. No. I don't know that.
You can, it's that if you don't want to mute completely or block, you can actually go to someone's account, click the three dots in the upper right hand corner and click turn off reposts.
So you won't see any of their retweet. Some people retweet a lot. I used to retweet a lot. So it's kind of a good tool.
I need that because I have somebody blocked and I see them all over. Like they're haunting me.
Yeah, turn off reposts. Just turn off reposts for that individual.
And then it should have something new every day.
And did you know that according to the algorithm, apparently reposting is not as healthy for your health account as you can quote repost.
Oh, and here's something.
I don't know if you, I even forget to say this one.
This is like all over the place.
Shout out to any of everybody in here.
This is the OKD live in the screen.
We're going to be here for another 15 minutes or so.
We have one more OKD to give away and one ticket, which makes you.
qualify for a physical collectible. So tune in. Let us know you're here in the chat if you are
so we know who's going to be eligible. But this is a tip. And I don't know if it's actually
maybe Elon has fixed it since I fixed it for myself. But it used to be a big problem where I would
get like mass tagged by bots.
and you just get like mass tags because they physically they like because you can turn off getting
tagged in pictures but you can't turn off getting tagged in like just a regular tweet someone can
at you right so um if if that's a problem for you what you can do is you can go into your
notifications and you can turn off notifications you can adjust them however you want but there's
a setting to where you can turn off notifications from people you don't follow
So I don't get any notifications from anybody that I don't follow,
which can be the only downside is when you get followed by someone.
It's actually not the worst thing in the world because...
You don't feel bad if you can't follow them back.
Well, that will really, I want to see when you're engaging with my stuff.
So like if you comment on my stuff, I'll see you.
And I'll see you that way.
But if you just follow, I don't need to follow everybody back.
Anyway, but we're so all over the place.
15 more minutes, probably a good time to do another giveaway.
It's so cute, though, little baby.
Like, that's, that's stinking cute.
She's really, really cute.
She's becoming a little human.
She's so perfect, and then she rips my hair out.
She keeps me up all night.
I mean, I keep things simple, man.
I got one more to get about.
I've already given one to Babs.
I've already given one to Stormy.
I don't know. I think it would make sense to, or maybe Anni.
Baby, give it to the baby.
I don't even know. What are you giving away? Because I have no idea.
An OKD. I'm giving away an OKC.
So she's rejecting you? So she's saying no.
Annie, are you saying no? You want it, right? You want no. She knows her name.
Her eyes lit up when she heard OkD.
She's an odd kid at heart.
She's trying to steal her, she's trying to get her food for her.
So what are you saying? So she doesn't have a wallet, so I should pick someone else?
No, so I need to make one right now.
There you go. All right. Say less. I'm going to put it down. I'm going to put Icy. I trust that you will make sure it gets to time.
Ani turned it off the camera.
Icy turned off the camera. She's like, she's making the wallet. She's making the wallet. That's what she's doing. She's making the wallet.
This is the strategic JPEG reserve for Ms. Annie.
She keeps closing me out.
She's like, time to make the wallet.
It only takes two seconds making your wallet, Mama.
And somehow, one way or another, ladies and gentlemen, we have made it.
to the final 13 minutes of the six hour block.
It's actually going to cut me off just shy of six of the top of the hour because it's going
to cut at six hours and I started it three minutes early.
It has been a fun ride. Stormy Babs, you guys were here from the beginning, not the whole time, but often throughout.
What are some of you guys' highlights from this six hours?
Yeah, I love just seeing the ethos of the team.
I've loved, because you guys all have known them.
I'm newer to the whole OKD and the pooks.
And I mean, though gamblers talked about them and Stormy's talked about them for years,
But it was just lovely to see them, see their integrity.
I'm always about supporting teams.
And so I think that that was really cool.
And just the other people who've been on, I wasn't able to stay for, I was there when
Katz was there and the other two folks were there, but I didn't get to hear everything.
And it's just so lovely to see your faces.
And Gambler's smile is always one of the best things around.
Yeah, I just wouldn't have been the same without you, Babs.
So happy to have you here.
So, I mean, for me, it's, you know, we're part of a few communities.
I've been a part of many communities, just being in Web 3 since 21.
It's, it's refreshing when you see projects, team members that, you know,
actually still have that same passion from day one
till whatever day we're at.
I mean, again, it's the second...
I guess iteration of the project per se.
And I know it's different, but same team.
But very rarely will you see a team pivot and make changes and find another way when they realize something wasn't working.
Or at least they realize they needed to tweak something, right?
I think that in itself is what kept me around, right?
And just very eager to see where they can go from here, right?
Again, exactly what JD touches on all the time, right?
You know, they're coming out with...
the products first. So like things are always going to work, right? You never see that in this space.
Everyone's thinking about collecting that money first and then trying to figure out what to do.
I like that they kind of put their money where their mouth is and do everything first just to show that they can actually deliver, right?
That's probably one of the most refreshing things that I've seen from this project.
and just kind of go back with Puss, right?
On the leaderboard, I think I qualified for like
just a shirt at that time, based on the points.
But, you know, talking to the team, I forgot who exactly, it might have been JD,
but he hit me up, he's like, listen, man, I know you've been around since whatever week
one, but he ended up hooking me with the hoodie anyway.
So, like, I always appreciated that.
Again, merches and everything, but just to gesture there, considering all we had to do
Just being a holder was great.
And I think forever they'll have my support.
It also helps that, you know, people like you are part of the community, Babs, and whoever,
it's just hard to find a community you want to stay in.
At the end of the day, you have only so much time and attention that you can give to Web3
and a Discord you're in, their projects, spaces you're in.
At the end of the day, I've narrowed it down to probably the three communities that I'm really active in.
And, you know, Pooke's just kind of one of them, at least on Seoul, right?
I have a few on Bitcoin Ornals as well.
But you really got to cut down and focus on the projects that you believe have
deserve your time, rather.
You can't be everywhere, you know, unfortunately, but also fortunately, right?
You don't want to be everywhere, and it just makes it that much more special,
the ones that you are able to be a part of.
And again, I can't, you know, say enough, like, how much it means to me to have people,
you know, look at something that I'm saying, hey, look, this is cool.
And in this case, it's a community and a tribe and to...
believe in me enough to say, hey, that matters, you know, that holds some weight.
And then to actually join the community and to actually be happy about it,
you know what I'm saying to actually have that feeling of validation,
not because I need validation, but because that's what it's all about.
Like it's about this, as corny as it is. Like that, this is what I'm here for, man.
I'm not the best traitor. I say that day in and day out. I show up.
I know a thing or two. I pay attention. But
This is what I'm here for.
And it really is cool to be a part of projects like Eclipse, like OKD, like Pooks, like The Daily Alpha, like definitely nothing, like fearless bulls, where that energy is not only appreciated, but reciprocated.
You know what I'm saying?
I also really love the, like, because I'm all, just the whole good that this can do for the world.
The good that this message of it's okay to be an odd kid, all really odd kids, I think that that's a beautiful message to be able to put out in this world.
So I think that that's also another piece that I was super excited to hear about.
And just, J.D. always talks about that.
This is always like, you know, hey, we're all a little bit odd, but we're all odd.
A little offbeat, but still part of the rhythm.
We have three minutes left.
I have one more golden ticket to give out.
You better take care of that, buddy.
I'm going to make it simple because I don't do the whole picker wheel.
The first person to comment golden ticket,
unless you already have one or unless you've already won something in the chat.
First person, golden ticket in the chat.
Who's going to be the first?
Golden ticket, Miss us! We got a winner!
It pays to participate. It pays to play.
She had her, yeah, she had her trigger fingers ready.
Haymaker was off. It says here six, she sent that 16 seconds ago.
Haymaker sent his 12 seconds ago.
It's been weird if there was a typo, huh?
How do we figure that after it was a typo?
Oh man, good point, good point.
I'm glad I didn't have to worry about that.
I'm noting it down so I don't forget.
If you are in there, make sure you send me your school address.
Sorry, what did you say, Bavs?
You should go into really quickly what the golden ticket gives.
Yeah, so if you missed it, the golden ticket gets you a soulbound JPEG of the golden ticket,
But it also gets you a free vinyl collectible.
come along with it. Did they say that? Yes. When I was mentioning stickers, he said, oh, there could be
some other things that come along with it. I'm like, what the stickers? I want the stickers.
But so yeah, I think they said, okay. Oh, yeah, you know, I could see that. I remember when they
sent out the hoodies, there was a really nice card. I think I got a, I think there was a
sticker. I'm not mistaken, but there was a really nice card that came with it.
Funny thing is I was going to bring my hoodie to work today.
I was going to put it off for the call, but I rushed out this morning and I forgot to bring it.
I think you mentioned that to me.
Without a doubt, I know if and when.
I'm sure not if by the call.
You got 45 seconds, gambler.
You're about to get 15 seconds.
30 seconds. We did this. Shout out to Babs. Shout out to Stormy. Shout out to KT. Dad Bob Thomas,
Hybrids, Elfee, Haymaker in the chat, Sun Wen Moon, Miss Hossette, Cosmo, everybody,
everybody, Jeremy, Eddie, Brittany, Expresso, of course, JD, Erso, our artist,
Everybody who made this what it was, we're still just getting started.
Bossa is going to start his shortly.
It's going to cut me off.
Thank you so much for the time.
