I mean, I did like an I did an hour and a half yesterday of looking for eggs and I have to say it's
actually quite addicting because I was only gonna do like 10 minutes of it
but then after 10 minutes I'm like, well
now I'm at like 30 eggs. You're like, maybe I want to get to 40. It's like like hmm four doesn't sound like a good number let me get the 69 it's like i got 69 but then i
was gonna log out and then i got 70 i'm like well might as well get to 100 now right and you just
kept going and going and it's actually kind of addicting it's kind of fun um but i do see that
now there are a lot of people who are camping the spawns and i was talking to jay vegas about this
a little while ago um because apparently people are just like you know sleeping overnight just
standing in one spot which is fine you only get like four to five eggs an hour i did that
i did that and uh i woke up with like 24 eggs okay yeah there you go that's that's crazy i
think i think you do get about like four to five an hour. Yeah, I'll tell you, 24 eggs, I probably slept for like, I don't know, four and a half, five hours, you know, to be real with you.
That's what it felt like.

But yeah, and then I was thinking like, wait, what happens if we just like get like 30 accounts, just stop every single egg from spawning?
But no, I mean, I've been having a lot of fun like i think starfield park is like the place to be for me
i i see like a lot of eggs spawn around there that are not being camped so i do my rounds over there
um but yeah i mean i've been having fun looking for the eggs if you don't have your sound up you are trolling when it comes to the eggs because the sound is everything it's literally everything
when it comes 100 i know people were like telling me the routes and stuff they're like they didn't
have their sound on they're like how are you finding eggs so fast like the sound like you
could hear them everywhere like they literally tell you exactly where they're at so and then
once you learn where the spawns are
you can kind of develop your own route and just go around collecting the eggs and we have no clue
what you're going to get for getting all these eggs but i imagine uh you'll get something
potentially so i mean i would just do it for fun just go around collecting as many eggs as you can
try to collect every color there's a bunch of different colors of eggs i think some are more rare than others i'm not sure but it's it's a lot of fun collecting them and looking for
new spawns and see if you can find every single spawn of egg on the map because i think even j
vegas was telling me like i thought i found every single spawn but like i found like a couple more
a couple more like 10 minutes ago you know so there's there's so many spawns for these eggs

yo um i i really just to echo your sentiment like when the egg hunting out here in um star
field park and i would like to hear some anybody else's would like to chime in here in a minute but
like um i really like searching around the runes and the different areas that they spawn at in the
runes and then like just like running across the way that they spawn or out around the crystal cave and stuff
like that like i don't know i haven't gotten none from inside the crystal cave yet so i don't know
if there's any spawns in there but like the runes area has got to be one of my favorite area for the
way that they spawn stuff like that there are some spawns in the crystal cave i did manage to get some
in the crystal cave um i think one of my
favorite places to go look for them are on the deeds the ones right here around dakota temple
i mean they're probably a lot harder to get but i like going on the adventure to find them and
listening for them and just exploring the deeds to find some eggs um i know below us is a botanical
like in the glass dome there's a spawn you have to climb the
three platforms and there's an egg up there sometimes um so it's really cool just exploring
the d's and stuff just exploring the map and i know i was talking to someone else earlier today
um i think it was otter he's just like he thinks that you know this is like a stepping stone for
people to explore every crevice of the nexus for you know get us familiar with the map so for
future activations you know maybe we'll utilize like every it will utilize this map for something
bigger you know maybe like another project dragon event or something crazy you know um so it's really
good to just collect these eggs explore the map uh get familiar with everything give us all ak's
and just let us run around this map like we did it would
be tremendous that would be tremendously fun like just like just you know i'm saying like all out
like yo we're going for the guinness world record part again we're trying to beat ourselves you know
what i'm saying we're just trying to like get you know why not why not that's how it's supposed to
be like once you're at the top you have to beat yourself, right?

um the render pool has taught me a bunch of things this past week so um you know what i mean like
just listening to the space that they had with uh command line with blitz and stuff like that
and like you just you start to find out about a lot of uh how uh optimization is important and just like just hearing some of like the the
tech talk a lot of the stuff that we don't usually get to hear the way you format it this past week
drop it was very very insightful and uh glad to be a part of it bro dude oh man i'm i'm so glad
you brought that up yeah dude it was just like an opportunity to uh uh reveal some things on game development uh you know we talk about odk other
sides so much and uh you know i think uh there's a there's a big side to it that we don't see that's
maybe not so romantic or or uh pretty or maybe fun uh so it's uh it was nice to get the so he was the
art director and uh he's two things.
He's the art director, but he's also the lead environment artist.
He goes by the name Giraffe Man, and he came on with Matthew.
Matthew is one of the founders.
So it was really nice to get them both in there to talk.
So Matthew can provide a lot of, like, insight on, like, delivery, kind of overall, like, you know, like high arcing kind of like points.
And then, you know, Giraffe Man was able to go into like detail as far as like developments and, you know, dev work and behind the scenes stuff.
I mean, you know, Matthew knows a lot of it, too.
But with this position, you know, he's kind of running a lot of the things, you know, as far as like all the different departments.
He's kind of overseeing a lot of the the things you know as far as like all the different departments he's kind of overseeing a lot of it uh so it was really cool to get giraffe man's take on the thornwood map
and how they like you know use the assets to create a little bit of narrative you know in
the environment uh you know doing cool level design uh so that like you get uh you know
interesting kind of player pathing.
You can hide behind stuff, block yourself from attacks coming in,
and it all kind of says a good narrative to it.
It was done very smart, but it looked good.
It's a cool, well-laid-out environment.
Very different from the bathroom, you know.
So it was good to hear his take on it on like why they went a different route and kind of kept it a little tighter, a little smaller.
But I think there's a lot of levels, you know,
you can kind of go up and down and weave through different rooms.
It made it a lot of fun.
And yeah, yeah.
So, you know, hope people got some insight into like how to optimize assets you know
making things a little leaner so the game runs better things like that I'm excited for next
week too so we had the command line team the past two weeks but this week coming up we're
gonna have figgy on the show and we're just gonna kind of dip into, you know, general other side stuff and ODK.
So that's going to be exciting.
