right now, super cool, it's a mix of like a handful of my favorite styles of games

But with that said, this is a very exciting day, very cool
Alex, how are you feeling with all the excitement, being able to like
hear the positivity and excitement as well, how are you feeling this morning?
Pretty good, definitely a busy morning
But I mean, I think everything is going well, it's always cool to launch something
and actually get people playing it
So I think, I mean, the team always loves this stuff
It's good to see like all of the love, like the meeting cartel community
Like this is definitely an homage to all of their lore
So I hope that comes through in like the game
and there's just a lot more work to be done
You know, so it's like this is season one, it's still really, really early
We have like already planned out, already started working on season two
And in season three, we're really gonna, you know, let everybody in, kick off the floodgates
And just like go totally mass market with this and that one will be a mobile game
So again, like everybody that's playing Serum City right now, like we've done our best
But just know that there's a lot more cool stuff coming
So that is actually a great question

So is this game mobile capable right now or is it only on the computer?
We did a desktop web for the sake of actual just like development speed
Is that, you know, deploying stuff to mobile and then, you know, doing test flight builds
And going through the submission process with Apple and Google can be definitely slowed down
So for the sake of speed, we are keeping this like desktop web for season one
But we're already starting to like optimize it for mobile
So I hope by like end of season one, maybe we'll have, or maybe sometime in the mid of season one
We'll have this thing more playable on mobile web
But for season three, like it's 100% going mobile because it'll hit the app stores and everything
For right now though, we're just prioritizing
Whatever platform will allow us to push the fastest and for right now that's definitely browser

So dennis and I have been making mobile games since 2009
So it's been quite a while. Um, it's always awesome. Just
Launching something like it's the launch day is always, you know, very cool and very special. Obviously, there's a lot of bugs

This is sort of what you live for if you uh, if you've been making games for this long
Dude that's awesome. I mean
let's let's tie this into uh,
one of the things that we really wanted to to highlight today because a lot of us
Are excited about the future of the creator suite
and user generated content
Clearly they're you know, and just for context
You know far away has just been on fire. Uh with announcements over the last like week
But also just over the last month we saved up a bunch. Yeah, it just feels like I think
You must have you know because
I don't think uh many people were even aware of far away
And I I think it became on a lot of people's radars within this particular community
When yuga labs announced that you guys would be strategic partners
You know for the other side and you know, just recently
It was announced that you guys will be collaborating on legends of the mara and the next
Version of it, which we saw some screenshots
Yeah, it looks real good. Yeah, well
What is there anything you can share about that?
Um, so I mean obviously this is going to be the the mobile game, right?
So that that's our specialty like dennis and I were just doing mobile
I think that's one way you you know that serum city's coming to mobile is that sort of our our bread and butter?
Um, you can probably tell that serum city was designed like ui wise and like gameplay wise to sort of
The the mobile, you know aesthetic
Um, but yeah, I mean yeah, so legends of the mara will be a mobile game
It'll also it's gonna have like a strategy component. You saw that ship in there
It's gonna give tons of utility to codas codamara's
um, it's just gonna be like a fun cool game and just another way to
Showcase all of the lore from like the other side
And of course, I give utility to all of these assets that that people have
Now I have to ask this when you say a statement like that and you don't have to answer it, of course
This is always what we do here is i'll ask a question
You don't have to answer it if you can't
But is this a place in this game perhaps where we start to use and and realize resources from the game and start to find out
What artifacts are perhaps?
I think they're I mean, of course, I think this is more of a yuka question
But uh, I think the goal with with any game that they make is to try to tell stories
About all of the lore that they've been developing
So my assumption is that there will be some some sort of lore here explanations as to you know
What these things are why they exist, you know, etc, etc
That makes total sense, you know already a bunch of us are pixel peeping and zooming into the screenshots
Just looking at the names of things seeing the different ship parts and
resources and some are you know icons look like artifacts and tools so
Uh love to see the community rally around that
I think that just kind of contributes to all the hype and let alone dookie dash unclog coming out
I think that's another thing that we're going to see very soon
And uh, that's going to be designed from the ground up
Um with you guys on mobile
and uh already the ugalabs gaming council had an opportunity to test that out and I see we have tfg
On stage who's part of the gaming council along with baron and you know, I um, you know, welcome by the way
But yeah, that's that's exciting because that incorporates the avatars and the user generated content
And I think that kind of stems in in terms of you know, the creator suite was announced for far away
And it was almost like a quiet soft launch
Of getting that going, you know in in in my perception
uh, and then when dookie dash unclogged came out and
You recognize that the end one of the features was the far away creator suite
Uh content would be able to be
Um used in dookie dash unclog. So immediately people started thinking how do I get my avatar in there?
How can I start designing my own vehicles or stickers?
And that is what the creator suite is, right? Would you mind maybe elaborating on what the far away creator suite is?
And then we can talk about where it's going to go. Well, I guess
First before that did anybody see my ape my 3d model ape walking around serum city?

So yeah, basically so the far away creator suite it's a place where you create like interoperable assets
Like interoperable meaning like these assets can be

You're just struttin why you know, it's like why have a have a have a grail m2, you know
In my opinion at least it's my it's my favorite one. Um, it has some history, too
So I uh, I treasure that one in particular, but why have it if you don't, you know strut around serum city with it

I'll get back to it. Yeah, so creator suite basically
Think of it as if you want a place. It's a place where you create like interoperable content
So you can take like our whole goal at far away is we're trying to create this
interoperable ecosystem of games
Right. So that's why some of the games we make ourselves
But then we partner on other games and then there's other games that are going to come out
That we don't basically just building on our tech or using our platform to create experiences that again
Give more utility to all of the content that's produced from this creator suite
To start off with we've prioritized like creating interoperable avatars just because that's basically the closest thing to
You know an interoperable identity layer that you have
So right now you can go and upload a 3d model
Right again. This is like a 3d like humanoid avatar
This you know, so that's what people are making apes people are uploading other types of cool like interesting types of avatars
Once you upload it to the creator suite you get your custom, you know creator storefront
Where you can then sell that asset any person who buys that asset from you can take it to you know
A growing ecosystem of games that can all use that asset and display it visually
So like my ape for example, you know, it's used in mini royale
You obviously saw a picture of it. I assume somewhere
In dukie dash you see it walking around serum city. So our whole focus is
We have a bunch of stuff that's coming out of the creator suite
We want more and more and more games to give it utility because it's just cool, you know
When you have something and it's not limited to like a single experience. It just continues to
Grow and grow and grow like in terms of the number of places where you can play it
so like we consider it more of this like, you know, if uh,
You know roblox was a more like decentralized experience, right?
Roblox obviously has a ton of creator content that's flowing into roblox
But it's basically captured inside of roblox
But our whole thing is like, you know, what would happen if that content wasn't, you know siloed in only roblox?
What if you could take that content from roblox that you spent a lot of time creating?
And you can take it to minecraft or you can take it to fortnite. You can take it to all these other really really cool experiences
Um because I think it's cool and I think I also think it's uh
I assume that if we're able to pull this off
players will sort of expect this and
I always believe that like
Once a player like expect something it's a complete
Like paradigm shift and how you need to make games because like, you know when free to play rolled out
It was like, you know players didn't players all of a sudden realized like they could get a pretty awesome game
Like by paying nothing, you know, and then player expectations change to why am I paying, you know, 50 dollars 60 dollars 70 dollars or something?
When I can play genshin impact for zero dollars and I can start playing without having to spend all that money up front
So I think like we've seen a few of these like huge paradigm shifts in terms of like consumer expectations
And I think having like interoperable assets
Um could very well be like another one of those paradigm shifts
I I I have to jump in here and say that this is
Absolutely by far the thing that got me most excited about having the early access to dukie dash
Uh, you know early on it was about can you compete with the likes of orangy and the other top gamers like tfg?
Like no, I can't i'm i'm not in that range
But what I can do is I can create user generated content
And I can I can really push my avatar into the world and hope that people rock it and support it
And the other day I was looking on your website up far away and I saw that the barons boutique
Which is my collection and my avatar was one of the featured pages, right?
That got me pumped and I was like
So excited to think that there's 40 people out there in the world that have my jason the ape avatar
That can choose to play it in dukie dash
they could have it roaming the streets of serum city and perhaps whatever other far away games you have right because
That interoperability that moving that asset around was always what
drove me crazy when I'd buy madden year after year after year the same fucking game like why couldn't I just
Keep my characters and my teams and develop them like how I would a fantasy team almost right?
So i'm excited about this paradigm shift and I think this is going to be a massive opportunity for people to
Put their avatars into an ecosystem. They didn't know existed six months ago. Yeah
Yeah, I mean we sort of saw that i mean dennis and i were at a studio called like glue like back in the day and they
Had a a franchise called tap sports baseball, right?
They you just every every year there was a new season and every you know
Every new season people's progress reset and they did the same thing that they did last season and
It's uh, I mean it just never made that much sense to me
So I I do think that being able to carry progress from different games and I think one important point
Is that these avatars like uh your jason avatar?
It'll be playable obviously in like yuga slash like far away ecosystem games
But it'll also be playable in a bunch of other games outside of our ecosystems. Like our goal is
We just want utility like we want a utility for this, you know cool content whether that comes from us
Or whether it comes from, you know other ecosystems
So that's why we've done these partnerships with like these other avatar providers like ready player me specifically
Where you know, they know their avatars are supported in a bunch of games
So it's like because we support their avatar system and they support other games
Like your jason avatar will be playable already in other games

something we've noticed with serum city when we claim these oaths, uh is that they're not listed on
magic eden or open sea or blur it seems that you guys are
Having your own marketplace
Get a little bit more information about that as it relates to the creator suite. Yeah. Yeah, so this is
Um more of a byproduct of these more i'd say generalized like marketplaces just not working for
Like game assets and then specifically game assets that are interoperable in many games
So we basically rolled out our marketplace. This is you know for the launch of serum city
But we have a ton of stuff that's uh that's planned for it to just bring it to something. I consider more
Like table stakes for you know, what's expected in the market
but um, basically we ran into this problem where
Game data like I guess so game items
In in general, right? They're like highly dynamic. It's like they
The levels are constantly changing the power levels are constantly changing
There's some event that's running in the game that is that is assigning
You know, they say is like this this item has a 300 boost on this specific day for this specific event
So a gain of items are very different than pfp's right and typical marketplace page pages didn't show that type of data
But obviously when you're a player and you're making a purchase decision
For an item you want to understand like what is the utility like what is the actual value of that item?
At that specific point in time in that game
So that's the main problem
That we've tried to solve with our marketplace, which is why you see this like feature if you go in the marketplace right now
You'll see this like feature traits
Section and all of that's game data that is off chain, right? It doesn't exist on chain
That's another thing you'll notice about like game data
There's just so many parameters that are constantly changing that not everything can obviously be listed on chain
Is especially it's like the the game parameters can change like second to second or minute to minute where it's and it's actually really important
When you're making a purchase decision to understand exactly what you're buying
So we roll it out of marketplace. That is like very very good
At communicating like highly dynamic like constantly changing game data
So that's one thing and then the second thing that we've been focused on in our marketplace is around communicating like interoperability
So it's like you buy this item where else can it be used and where else does it have like value utility?
So when you go to the item details page, you can sort of see a section
Um on it says like interoperability, so it's sort of hard to miss
um, but you can see a section that tells you here other here are all the other places where this
Um, if there are more places assigning like specific metadata to that item, you'll see multiple sections appear
So instead of just you see like serum city this item has these stats in serum city
You'll see like this is an item that has these stats in serum city these stats in mini reality stats in dukie dash, etc, etc
So there's a lot of stuff
For our marketplace that just wasn't possible on like a normal like pfp centric marketplace
So that's sort of why we we roll it out around here

What's to come with this when it comes to this far away marketplace? Um, you know these game assets

So, you know when it comes to serum city, we're starting to see that and it's it's available
To buy sell and trade on the far away marketplace and non other marketplaces, but I would also imagine this
especially for ugc, you know
As creators are a part of the economy
This is a core part of of that strategy as well, right? Like for user generated content
Um, this is one of the ways that you'd be able because there's splits on these uh, ugc assets
You know creators can get up to
Of the revenue from these ugc assets. Uh, you know, it can get split amongst different parties and wall
Yeah, and that's another reason from primary or secondary. That's right. That's another reason why uh
Why we wrote at our own marketplace because it's just not okay with us for like royalties to not be honored
So in order to enforce that like, you know
We can obviously enforce that with our own marketplace better than relying on some other marketplace to enforce it because I think the worst scenario is
A creator makes something that's awesome
And then they sell at once and it feels good, but they never make any more money from any secondary sales
And I think it's just like so unfortunate that uh, we needed our own marketplace to actually
Have the comfort ourselves that we would never be faced with that situation again

So it's a very exciting time for creators to get really inspired and do some wild things

for grace and alex like what are some of the
the common things that you know, most people
Ask about or are having trouble with that. You constantly have to you know, just reiterate and
And kind of clarify for them
Yeah, there's a couple things. I mean, it's a pretty new platform
So far the uploading process has been pretty straightforward
I think we get a lot of questions more around the technical requirements
so all of those are outlined in the faq which is just faq.faraway.com but
um for for newer models of modelers, I think some of them can be
Um a little more not difficult to work with but it's I mean
I I didn't know anything about 3d modeling before any of this and and there's just such a deep world of
Like nodes and skins and mesh meshes and materials
But yeah, I think most of the things people um have issues with is is really just
Understanding the the requirements and knowing
what can be like what the hierarchy looks like for a lot of these because
Aiming for for like optimal interoperability with as many different products as possible
We have pretty strict requirements around the skeleton that we can use for these right because you want to make sure that if something
Banana and and dukey dash that it can carry an ak and mini royale and jump around and hyper world and all these different things
So we they kind of need to have a certain
Like skeleton standard. So I think that that's one of the the limitations, but it's really the trade-off
Having the most interoperability with with products that like we don't even build, you know, so yeah, that's what I would say
No, that's a really good point and it actually makes me think about
something and i'm not really sure this is this is pretty technical and uh, this
could be something that there is no answer for right now, but
How have you all thought about interoperability when the tech specs are based on unity?
You know something like the other side
not the legends of the mara, but the other side in
The kind of 3d open world metaverse other side
Is based off of unreal engine. Is there some sort of way that?
These assets could be interoperable with unreal engine or anything?
You know, like what's the thinking behind that engine doesn't matter. It's interoperable anywhere
um, it's basically just uh
It's a 3d model file and unreal can render the 3d models unity can render it like you saw so serum city
Is a completely different engine than it then uh, it's like a very

Um, it just matters that whatever skeleton whatever you rig uploads matches the interoperability standards we have

Like you know that of course is just a hard requirement for us like this thing has to be playable everywhere

understand what are some of those

Pretty standard in in the 3d world and uh can be incorporated in a bunch of different engines
Yeah, we're gonna support like other, you know other 3d files as well, right? There's like fbx files as gltf files
We'll support other stuff
GLB is just the most straightforward to support like technically
Given all the validation that we need to need to run on it to make sure that it fits the requirements
like think of like validating a glb
Is like validating a jpeg versus if you validate a
FBX file it's like validating a psda like a photoshop file. So like the complexity increases quite a bit
Yeah, and this this is clearly the the kind of beginning stages of all of this
Especially like with the creator suite that just launched, you know, not even a few months ago
So where where's the creator suite going from here?
I mean, there's like a million updates to this like everything from
Improving the current user experience like making it so that people don't you know, of course have any make many as many questions on like the uploading process
um, and we're also doing stuff like
Enabling nft gated collections, right? So it's like, you know
Creator could upload an item or could upload a collection
And in order for a buyer to be able to buy from that collection on their storefront
They must own like an nft from any specified collection
So it could be something where a creator makes an item and says in order to access my new collection
Of ugc items you need to own an item from my old collection, right? So we're just trying to create
Cool, like creator economy like tools and features in the creator suite and obviously everything you see
Uh everything that's done in the creator suite will somehow be reflected in the shop
So let me ask you a question then based on what you just said is
There's a reality in which people can buy this jason the ape avatar. It's an nft. It's a token
They have it and for future let's say
Art drops that I might do I can give them like access to presale or something or you know gamify
You know the purpose or just add a hundred percent reasons for them to have it

Like creator codes on steroids or you you're able to launch basically you're able to identify quickly
Here are your top like followers top friends top
You know collectors and then we want to be able to build tools
That enable you to you know
More live operate your creator storefront and gamify things whether it's you know leaderboards for your storefront
Like we want to do stuff where like you can do like fusion on your storefront
Let's say you have a collection and in order to there's no buy for this collection anymore
It's basically you need to have this item from collection a this item from collection b
And then this item in collection c that you can only get by fusing together and burning items from collection a and b
So there's a lot of like cool stuff that you can do. Yeah, sauna sauna and I were

You know so to put that into like some context, right?

You can sort of do do whatever you want here
I think this is more up to the up to the creativity of the of the creator
Another thing that we're doing and this will this should all be like a pretty soon actually
Um is having the ability to have two creators per collection, right? So say, you know you and a friend
Um wanted to have a collection that you guys created together
You would just say when you're creating this collection every single time an item is sold instead of one creator address getting paid out
Two creator addresses need to get paid out, you know, and you can specify the percentages that need to get paid out to each
So that way if you did this like cool crafted vehicle
An other space vehicle that both of you shared the economics in like you'd be able to do that all from the creator suite
Man this is incredible and this is kind of the stuff that we all dreamt about for years and i'd love to see it
come into fruition because
it is really a way to have
The fan base of your avatar be rewarded, right?
And so I myself have been planning to do an art drop in the middle of the month
Now i'm thinking to myself anyone who has this jason the app jason the avatar
Maybe I can give them just a free nft for that collection or something because they bought that avatar or whatever. I dream of right?
What we can do now in a new beginning I guess
Yeah, and and that's not out now
But those are some of the things that you know
That's that's kind of the vision for the creator suite and it'll be up pretty soon. That's what's exciting where we have a go

We don't really announce something unless it's going to come out pretty soon. So, uh,
Well, uh, I can sort of as as you guys have seen a little bit now
Um, but yeah, it's we're we're uh, we're trying to get a bunch of stuff out for dukie dash launch
Then hell yeah, um, and I think that's where it's it's so exciting for a creator to just
Get some ideas and inspired just by doing i've learned so much
Just through the process of opening up a creator account hopping on the creator suite seeing how you know
There's price discovery then there's the community aspect of it
just knowing who the holders are being able to
Add value to the people who are supporting you as a creator and I think a lot of people can
Brands creators can really get behind that and to have more flexibility with like maybe someone who?
really great really creative
Great ip great art direction, but maybe not a 3d modeler
And they want to get a 3d modeler on board to create a collection with each other
You know, those are some of the things that it can enable
um when when you have those splits like that, um, so
That's uh, that's pretty pretty awesome. And we know it's going to be coming up soon
So that's that's exciting
Is it is there anything else that you guys wanted to touch on with regards to the creator suite and the ability to generate the content?
The ability to curate that's one of the things that
We're also planning to have live pretty soon that I think is you know, it's obviously part of the creator economy. It's sometimes
You know, you're not the best creator 3d model your your 3d 3d modeler yourself, but you're like a sort of a tastemaker
Right. And if you're a tastemaker, you're that means you're really good at getting discovery for other creators
And you should be of course, you know compensated for providing that value to the creator economy
So that's why we have this concept of a seller, right? Because sometimes the creator isn't the only seller
Sometimes there's this really awesome taste maker or influencer or whoever it is
That is doing a really really job really really good job like getting the word out about your creations
so we want to make sure that
Person that's part of this like value chain is getting like incentivized to stave a part of this value chain
You guys really started to look at the the different people
and things that come into play when it comes to that creator ecosystem
You know make it more healthy when people have steak in it and what's really dope is as soon as something gets purchased
There's no waiting to the end of the month for everything to accumulate like this
Immediately gets distributed as soon as that item gets purchased to
The creator's wallet totally and I think that's I mean, this is I think where crypto excels
Right. It's instead of I mean crypto and assuming it's pretty simple, right?
There's just a bunch of splitter contracts that
You know, we don't have to collect revenue and then pay it out. Everything is just paid at point of sale
Right. So I think on the payments layer that you can objectively say that like the blockchain like crypto, whatever you want to call it
Makes the payments like the settlement layer like, you know objectively better for everybody involved whether it's for us
Or for the creators or for the you know, the purchasers
Can I just say as I'm as I'm listening to the conversation and participating in it I have uh,
The serum city someone else is playing it next to me and they just got to a point where they get like
You know, uh some possible rewards and it's a bunch of serum city
Loot boxes that look very similar to things i've seen in legends of the mara game that i've gotten
You know the serum city one two and three box
So now knowing that you guys are making the far away, you know, legends of mara game and then this and all the interoperability
I just get so excited to think like where this is all leading and and seeing
What games intersect and what items intersect with what purpose, you know, because it seems like you guys have a lot of stuff planned
That's just right in front of us that we just don't really understand quite yet
Yeah, and I mean this is so expensive over at yuga and I mean the yuga team in general
Like they're also like very thoughtful around like interoperability and how big of a deal it is
So yeah, that's that that's sort of why you see these little hints, you know
Something looks you know, very similar that comes from legends of the mara and you see something similar inside of serum city or vice versa
but yeah, I think you know, it's really really cool to work with them because I think we all see the
Like just how gaming is changing in a very similar way
so it's been it's been fun and like a very collaborative experience and obviously like
Dennis and I go like, you know way back now. He's awesome. He was actually our boss at scopely
Um, so yeah, we we we think very very similarly and like obviously work really really well together
I i've listened to spencer on like a few different interviews and you know
Be on the forefront of this new paradigm shift like you were speaking of you know, and i've I think we all kind of
Just at least in the gaming industry, you know free to play has almost kind of taken over
how people develop games, especially
Some new ways of creating games. There's you know, even fully on chain games and things like that and then there's like play to earn
um, and so i'm i'm really curious about like how
Like what what translates really well and what doesn't translate well into like web 3 gaming?
Um collectibles they translate really really well
from like anything on the collectible layer, I think translates really really well from like the
The the free to play to like the web 3 angle
Items that you need to understand like scarcity like things where scarcity matters things where like the global supply cap
Of an item actually is is central to the game design like matters. That's why in serum city
Like, you know, of course you can produce a bunch of items, but there are global supply caps
So it's like scarcity actually matters where something cannot be minted
Unless something is burned first because there's a global supply cap there
when there's probably a bunch of stuff that
um that that translates that I probably need to spend more time thinking about but I think things that
Don't really translate. Well are like cosmetic economies like I remember back in
2021 everybody was like what if we made?
Fortnight, you know a web 3 game or what if we made league of legends like a web 3 game?
And objectively they'd be worse games. I've worse at least for monetizing
Um from like a game developer standpoint and honestly in that scenario like the this thick really cool skins
Wouldn't feel you know in my opinion like as cool

A lot of people are are really curious
Uh about like what are some of the most important aspects of what makes these web 3 games great?
fun being at the top of the list and
A lot of that contributes toward you know, how satisfying and fulfilling
These experiences are when you're able to just be in there play it see your characters
Like i'm looking at you walking around the block right now in the avatar
With your avatar, uh in serum city. Yeah, I think it's and that nft layer just makes interoperability possible in my opinion
Because or else you'd have to do all of these
Crazy integrations with every single game that wanted your assets
But but we're saying is you know what like this asset is
Like if you want to see the metadata or the model associated with this asset
Like just query whatever blockchain the assets on like no integration necessary
And if there's no integration necessary, it just means it can scale to that many more experiences
This is why you know, we're concentrating specifically on like interoperable games like interoperable ecosystems
Is because you know, we actually see a massive opportunity and a massive opportunity that's made objectively better with the blockchain as like its technology layer

And I think is I think the creator economy is just so important and I think this unlocks
Like the creator economy for games that you know aren't, you know, fortnite or roblox or minecraft
It basically unlocks it for everything because you can absolutely love a game
Maybe it's you know, not the biggest game in the world, but you want to create for it
And then you know, but you don't have this, you know
This like second thought like should I be creating for this game that I love?
You know, maybe it doesn't get that many sales because the game isn't that big
Maybe I should just create for roblox because i'm going to be spending a time doing a lot of this stuff
And then I want to make sure I at least get compensated for my time
But I mean right now it's because all of these assets are playable in like an ever growing ecosystem of games
You don't really worry about like hey i'm designing things just for this game and it's small
So maybe i'm not there's like an opportunity cost of doing that
But are you just saying like, you know, i'm designing something for a game that I love
Like I don't have to worry about
Being like only designing for this game anymore because I know this asset is also going to be used in a lot of other games
So the person that might buy my asset
Yeah, maybe he uses or she uses it in the game that I love
But maybe he or she is using it in some other game that I don't know about
So I think it just unlocks a lot of opportunities for
For creators that just weren't there before so that's why that's just such a big focus for us

An economy that's formed around this that far away isn't a part of but it's true
Well far away is the marketplace

We're talking about the creator suite and specifically the far away creator suite create
That's where you can just make sure you have that account and your far away connect account
Will go far in these different titles and games besides just creating because it will be your login for these titles
Creator suite allows you to create
Uh for yourself as a creator and upload
A 3d file to it and you can name it you can give it a backstory
Uh, once you upload it it goes through this click approval process by far away
And then once it's approved and it meets all the guidelines
Then you can deploy it and you can deploy it on one of three chains at the moment. You can deploy it on eth
Solana or matic or polygon essentially polygon
Um, and you set the price
Uh creators can get up to 90 percent of the cut on there with far away store getting 10 of the cut
As we were talking about it a little bit earlier
There's other people that can be a part of you putting up
User generated content, you know such as a curator or a seller someone who could really go out there and get this
User generated content in front of people
And so there's lots of different ways you can kind of distribute the revenue
With that and there's there's some really great posts and bailey put up an amazing thread bailey is a community member

So like, you know telling what what some things, you know, you guys have been building you have people who have been beta testing it
What are some of the the lessons learned from those that have had the opportunity to play?
You know that you'd like to pass along maybe some advice, you know, should we be you know dim?
Uh down in the audience. He he mentioned like hey, don't use those those gems like all too quickly
You know, um, but yeah, i'm curious like what's i'm just getting started
I'm on let i'm level five right now going through the tutorial really enjoying myself
Uh, but yeah, give me give me some some alpha and some hints on like how how I can
So i'll try to do my elevator pitch and you guys go ahead and put one of those
Hourglasses on me too and make sure the sand doesn't hit the bottom before i'm done
but first and foremost like one of the tips that we've gotten from some of our community, um is that
Um when it comes to your um slots for producing items
You'll cut that's one of the things you want to actually use some of your soul gems on is to open up additional slots
You can kind of get some of those
Um materials that you need in order to get some of the more
Rare items you're going to need later and all that stuff
But the like the first tip that we've seen from a lot of community members and I myself i'm deploying i'm not you know
Figuratively speaking blowing my load of soul gems right out the gate
Um, you kind of want to make sure that you have some you know, kind of kind of in your reserves here
Of course, there's always the opportunity to
Your wallet here by and wallet, but I mean your purse of in-game
Currency by using ape coin to further along but you know in the event you're a grinder you want to push forward
The opportunity there is the one, you know kind of save some of your soul gems there
Um two is to max out your slots
And three for a little tip if you ever see a drone flying around allow it to kind of
Rest above a building and make sure you tap it before it flies away because you get a couple of soul gems
Um for doing that as well as kind of in it comes up, you know every few minutes or something like that
It's on like a reoccurring schedule kind of thing
So as long as you have your browser open, um, you get the opportunity, um to max out a little bit more there
And then when it comes to the chaos
Yeah, so that's a that's a little tidbit
I'm not going to give too much but when it comes to the capsule of chaos
It's almost like its own new game there at at one point
So you guys will see it start to erect, you know out of the the concrete there the the floor of serum city to speak
Um, you'll see it start to erect as you slowly get closer and closer then when you get to level 20 it opens
Completely and from there you need to concoct special recipes
to craft the most rare of items which you will then be able to
Burn to get onto a leaderboard that will allow you to vault up
Um into the standings on our seasonal points and everyone too as well just as a little reminder
I shared one of the tweets here at the top of the space. Um, is that we have a massive prize pool?
Of course, um, you know grace had broke the news, um previously, um on other spaces
but look we have a massive prize pool that's coming, um for the end of season two and in order to
Like actually make an impact on it
You're gonna want to make sure you have season one points, um, you know started off for you at a certain
Rate because then that will only propel you um to get into the massive prize pool
That's at the bare minimum
$100,000 worth of a coin is up for grabs and for those of you who may be askering or maybe
Pontificating in the back of your mind. No, we did not create an aip to get that a coin prize
This is coming solely from novel labs in faraway games as a prize for our

Previously on the last space or today, but your nfts that are your passes are dynamic
So when you look at them at that same faraway shop that we spent quite a time talking about today where you can pick up
For your mutants or apes on that same faraway marketplace
You'll also see a serum city collection where all the passes
Belong and of course all the gear will belong that you can craft from the capsule of chaos, for example
But when you have your opportunity
To earn your spot on the leaderboard you will get
Updated metadata that effectively will be classified as a blessing
But in addition to that you'll also see what's called nft car parts and that
Um, I don't want to give away too much, but certainly, uh may have some inter operability functionality there with a
Legendary game that I think we're all waiting on and maybe there is alluded to
Um up top with another one of the shared tweets
But we'll go ahead and let everyone ascertain that knowledge, um at their own leisure here. Um, and that would just set you up

Sure that i'm not the only one, you know
Some people have been able to claim
Multiple passes some people have yet to or can even claim a pass
For those that have multiple passes is there a purpose?
To keep multiple passes and then my follow-up question will eventually be
For those that don't have a pass but really want to jump in
Like how what's what's the next step for them?
Absolutely. Um, so to start off that let me preface this real quick to just to kind of give a primer
There are three types of passes that you can claim
So the first one that went live on tuesday of this week was for all the mutant cartel oath holders
The first in our collection our passport for the cartel
The next were the mutant hounds. Uh, so the oaths, uh minted the um oath headquarters
The hounds were able to mint the hound castle, which is a separate headquarters and today live as of
7 a.m pacific 10 a.m. Eastern all mutants and board apes are able to claim the ape clubhouse
Which is now a third variety of headquarters
And what happens is the different headquarters that you hold allows you to
Create and craft different types of items that you will need
For that capsule of chaos, which I was alluded to a little bit earlier here on that
little elevator pitch and effectively
For those that claim multiple passes you have a variety of options
So one of the things that i've heard and again, you can do this if you want
I'm just you know throwing things out there and i'll allow it to stick on your wall if you feel it should
Is that some people have decided that they want to play with all three different types of passes because you
Effectively can play on one pass to get the stats
Um, so effectively they're gonna play with an oath headquarters
They're gonna play with the hound headquarters and they're gonna play with sorry hi tv. You got a hot mic
They're gonna play with the ape clubhouse as well
But they're gonna have to do that in different tabs effectively, right and by doing that they can kind of corner the different
Items that you could craft and effectively send it to one of the three that you know
If you want to kind of max it out because if it's smarter to max out on one pass if that makes sense
So there is that option for those that hold the three different types of passes your second option if you hold
A large quantity or larger than any quantity larger than one of each type is you can delegate your passes
Tech that allows you to share like a private key effectively for each individual pass and you can share that with someone
They don't even need a crypto wallet
They would just need to like log in with the email for example
Um to far away's page put in your your key that you provided them and they can actually play the game
Itself right there, you know effectively from scratch on the past that you're not already playing on if that makes sense
Oh, that's interesting. Okay. Okay, because yeah, a lot of these games are using the far away connect account
So i'm just kind of piecing things together now, but instead of having uh, you know
A web 3 wallet like you know and setting up a warm wallet and making sure the person that's playing has
A web 3 wallet you can actually just select. Hey this oath
I'm not necessarily using it at the moment, but the homie would love to get in and check this out
Delegate it to another far away account
And then they just log in with their far away account, which doesn't require a wallet
That is 100 correct you're accurate with that statement and and you know, it's one of the things we've all talked about
I'm pretty sure everyone here listening live and those listening to recording later
How do we onboard more people into web 3 and if you haven't asked yourself that maybe it's time you start doing that
Um, and this could potentially be a great way to do that, right is to onboard some of those that still find themselves in
The normiverse, um, so this for us, I think that's great tech that's available
And then also i'd be remiss to mention if I didn't also say there is another option for you as well
And that is to list your additional passes on the far away shop that same shop
we were just talking about also allows you to
Have the passes there and of course with the dynamic nature of the serum city pass again
You'll be able to see all this the stats for each pass
You can see whether it's been played with or not, for example, or you know, just like it was
For everyone who remembers dukie dash that first time around some people were you know
Kind of really playing their way to a particular status with their passes and then effectively
Trading them on on the marketplaces because you know
Some people want to acquire like an already advanced game and like a higher score and things of that nature
Instead of actually grinding there. So there is that option as well
So, you know, I just listed three, um, you know potential options from people have multiple passes
But you know just to let everyone know too
Like we want to see the pass numbers continue to elevate
We want to see as many people claim as possible on board as many others friends family
You know who knows like your significant others your mistresses or whatever the case may be
Want to see everyone on board at the same time, you know, certainly in order to play you just need one pass to be honest
Everyone, you know, i'll just be like clear cut about that
You know, I mean like if you you know, like some people have been talking about, you know
Because right now it's um, you're claiming one pass effectively per transaction
So, you know if the gas is up a little bit just sit tight
I mean, unfortunately, we don't control aetherium or gas fees
But if we could, you know, we'd snap our fingers and make it, you know, extremely
You know the lowest way possible, but at the same time, you know, this is kind of where we are with it
So you can get your one pass and boom you're there
So the way it kind of unfolds too is there's like a you know
People be able to core in the market with items they craft and even with the passes
So osu have the smallest quantity hounds will have the next
Um sizable quantity and then of course apes and mutants with you know, a little shy of 30 000 tokens out there
Will have the largest quantity so you can imagine, you know, the items crafted from each will kind of fall in line
Ah, very interesting. So let's say for someone like myself
Uh, i'm claiming three club houses today
Maybe I kind of want to trade or sell two of them and go get one of the other two that I don't have
Uh, because if there's like a rarity base to it
I might want to build on the rarer one, which i'm thinking you said would be the mutant hound, right?
Uh, the oath one. Yeah, the oath one that is certainly something that you can do. Absolutely
But alternatively if we have multiple
Like I love the idea that we can delegate
So like maybe some of our community members can play if they don't have one like I I can't stack them
Right. There's no value in having more than one
If you can play multiple games at one time, right?
Effectively at this moment. So, uh, but let me preface this too tech is constantly being improved
I mean, I don't even know how far away fits. Um, the 25 hours into their 24 hour days
Um, so certainly there could be um updates to this capacity, but the one
Um asset that really does allow you to stack in-game for those of you who may be a mutant hound holders
Is you can deploy your hounds in game to facilities. That's all that
Um, so for example, that's going to give you a little boost in production across the board
And if you happen to be a whale you will have opportunities to place as many hounds as possible
But certainly for now, you know, you'll see them. So there'll be little slots in-game
Like the hound yard, for example and and other instances where you can slot your it effectively
It's a soft staking, you know, it doesn't leave ever leave your wallet. It doesn't lose, you know
You don't lose control of it of any time. It's just that you you say you have hound 87 23
You know, that's the same hound that I have that matches my mutant id. I haven't placed in one of my facilities
You're unable to place a hound in any other passes facility. So effectively it like ties it
To that pass, you know, so it's nice
You know anyone who's interested in that, you know
We have a fellow hound holder jb up on stage and i'm sure some of us other in the audience are also hound holders
Um soon in the event that you do want to see if you can make it further
That could also be a way to boost things
I got two hounds equipped in the hound yard right now, so
That makes me want to have more hounds because I see the extra slots. I'm like, oh shit. Do I need more hounds?

What how can we how can we improve that and so it felt great to kind of be connected with the with the the?
The people building the game and and really kind of give a strong strong vibe. Uh, yes mutant hounds are have been uh,
Been a great addition. I've got i've got my hounds in there stacked in there helping the help of my production
Um, and uh, yeah, it's it's exciting to see everybody kind of coming in and flooding in asking the questions
Um, I wanted to I wanted to give a little tidbit. I don't know if it was uh baron or nana
You asked earlier about some insights. Um, yeah
The insights from the people have been playing
I i'm not going to give it a hundred percent away
But I will say this when you when you get up a few levels and you start opening some things the capsule of chaos
It comes into play. Um, I know a lot of people have asked. Oh, would you just spend a lot of money?
Do you just put a lot of gems in?
Like v said you you kind of want it
You kind of want to hold those gems for like specific things that you really maybe want to hurry up or or speed up
But you don't necessarily need it for everything
But when it comes time for that capsule of chaos and you get the opportunity to start looking into
Building these recipes and minting these special items and burning these or so on
My advice to to people that are listening to this right now is
Think about your strategy when it comes to what you are actually doing in the capsule of chaos
inside the capsule of chaos
You want to think about what you are putting together and to make that recipe
Um, and some of you that are listening to this know what i'm talking about. Some of you don't and I understand that
But you want to think about
Colors, you want to think about things you want to think about items everything that you're connecting inside that capsule of chaos
It means something think about that when you get to those levels. I'm going to leave that little tidbit for you. So

one of the updates was for the existing season right and
Catalysts have been added to the leaderboard for season two
There will be additional ways for voyagers to obtain seasonal catalysts beyond leaderboard rewards
And I pinned it to the top. Uh, if you want to check out the thread
400 ranks in each environment tier for those that are hunting the shattered will earn a seasonal catalyst
And so what do you need a seasonal catalyst for in legends of the mara you ask?
You use a seasonal catalyst
to transform your mara into a coda mara
And I don't know if you saw what the coda maras look like they're fire. They have
All three abilities of hunting farming and enchanting
Uh, but and they they have like unique traits as well
Whereas a lot of our maras right now look very similar and aren't very unique
Uh, well coda mara are and they look like mini codas
Um, and some don't look so many
But yeah coda mara seems to be
Something that a lot of people are going to try
And go for but in order to do that you're going to need a catalyst
Will have the opportunity to get a catalyst if you're hunting shattered
There's going to be more opportunities that have yet to be announced
Um, but yeah baron and anyone else playing legends of the mara i'd love to hear your take on that
Has that affected your strategy at all?
Um, you know what your thoughts baron i'm i'm excited right and and have been waiting for something like this
I'm much more excited now that I get to taste a little bit of serum city and see the visuals and go. Okay
You know alex said that's their bread and butter as a mobile app
I've been waiting to figure out
More or less what resources are for and artifacts and when dukotas come into play and you know
This kind of all fits into what they showed us in those mock-ups
Um, very excited for whenever that comes out and they suggested, you know, not too far off, right?
I don't think they're going to put a specific time on it, but that's exciting and then simultaneously and and a side note
They're coming soon a tab in the legends of the mara, you know hunt may actually be something that comes finally and we can mint
uh all those items out and i'm assuming
that when that happens that there's going to be a
Magic eating marketplace that's open to do so on you know, so maybe
Uh, I don't know that's just all speculation
But very excited because guess what we have things to speculate on that are all positive that are all coming
and very cool games ahead of us like
The serum city game is stunning excited beyond belief. I can't tell you
How much that excitement makes me more pumped for the legends of the mara update game
That's going to be coming to mobile app and especially the fact that dukie dash is going to be you know intended for
All these people to have to play free and possibly win items get these golden plungers
Which you're going to want to you're going to want
And get into these, you know big seasonal tournaments
There's going to be a lot of free to play games that offer big upside
That we may get to see our avatars in right so
Well, you you mentioned the loot, uh will
like season one, uh for legends of the mara if you earned any loot by defeating the shattered
Those will become available on tuesday february six
I wouldn't hold my breath for the magic even marketplace to coincide with that
but that but I will say that this
a really great unlock for so many different reasons because
Even if you think about serum city
You know, I don't know if you had any of those serum city chests that you won
Um, but you know, I I would love to be able to see how that plays into the serum city game
If i've earned any sort of loot from that
I think that's that's what's exciting is about the uh, the legends of the mara loot

I think there's two major takeaways from what we're talking about today, which is the interoperability
Between all of these different creatives, you know us working together hyping each other up. Uh,
All tides raise all boats or something like that. I'm sure it's more eloquently put than that
Just the idea that we're all doing this together that we're all building together
So that is super positive because when you get in any kind of business any kind of environment, uh, you know, there's always this
Competitive nature and it be it can become
Negative at times and I think in this space right now, it's super positive. Everybody's hyped
Everybody's building together and then I think the other part of it, you know, we talked about dookie dash
uh being on mobile and free to play for everybody is that
Going to mass markets, right? Like we want more people in this space
We want them to be able to enjoy what we're doing what we're creating
Uh the games the comics, you know
The the foods the snacks the blunts the vapes, right and you name it
We want people to enjoy because that's what we're enjoying, right?
So, uh, I think those are the two big takeaways. Uh with that being said I myself also have to dip

I mean, I think this is a perfect time to open up to the audience because I I kind of can only continually repeat how excited I am
Especially as the other side is the biggest nft purchase i've ever partaken in and many of us bought at the tippy top
So I want nothing more than this to be a fucking grand slam home run
You know where where not only do I recoup my bags hopefully but fucking
Get excited for what's to come because there's potential for you know ip opportunity. Hopefully
Seeing my coda utilize in some way that gives me more value than it does now
These are the things we hope for right like i'm trying to figure out do I
Do I move my positions around do I need 10 deeds or do I need one that I like put all the effort into right?
Because if it's going to be like serum city where you can only play one
You know, I don't know if that's the case, but I don't think it is though

The strategy does play into it and how much you hold or what you hold?

My take on this mobile game first off
It's really great that i'll be able to do this mobile, you know because
So many times i'm working the shattered

And the fact that it's going to be designed for mobile big unlock for me

and go into the obelisk and then there's that um
This is me going back into the speculation, but the aeronaut
Do you remember that obelisk piece about the aeronauts?

But who knows what voyagers might discover with a different perspective?
Um, i'm like, I don't know where we've seen that and you know what these could be
Very well early prototypes of just mocking up the app itself
You know, I think of other side this is other side if they put any sort of custom design into these icons
I don't I don't know of any existing character that looks like that and then
That kind of fits the the theme of what an aeronaut looks like maybe
Possibly. So anyway, it's called crew
So there's definitely some social component or clan component
Then they have ships which we know we're earning ship parts right now. So
It looks like there's some racing going on
Uh, there's the ability to have like a tournament
And then there's a shop there's quests and then world
So yeah, i'm really curious on how this is all going to play
Yeah, i'm also seeing that
There's some resources that are listed in one of the screenshots where you can
Your particular attributes or skills
so, you know potentially you have
Uh, like even right now each coda
Have a certain skill and ability and uh a level to that
What if some of these resources as you feed it, you know can help level it up?
Um so that you become better at whatever that skill is
So it looks like there's a way to equip certain items as well as upgrade it and then that's affiliated
With all these resources that we're seeing hovering around the coda in that
um, and then uh season and
Which is pretty cool because you get to see some of the prizes and those look like some
Uh cool prizes that you can potentially use in game
Yeah, man. I'm just uh, i'm just stoked that it's going to be on mobile and that
Instead of having to go to the desktop for legends of the mara
And click a button and move away. This looks like it's way more interactive
um a little more complex because there's more parts in it, but
Unravel the story be behind all of these different items that you know can bring some definition to these other deeds
I can't wait to to kind of see what you know
What's ahead when it comes to that, you know second half of 2024 is it's quite a ways away
However, we got a few things that we can focus on in the meantime, which is pretty cool
And I have a have a good feeling i'll spend a lot of time in serum city and dukie dash
Uh playing with these avatars
I I think I think that's kind of the exciting thing is now we have something in front of us to play with you know
And and to like when we had dukie dash the first time it kept us busy because we were we were grinding for a particular reason
Whatever, you know the prizes and pools. Let's be real. That's the whole reason i'm playing these games is for that
That extra little bit of money that maybe I can find an injection of but also have fun simultaneously
uh, because isn't that the dream right to to make money while having fun and uh
This sounds like this year is going to be lined up with a lot of release after release after release of products that have been developing
Over the last, you know year or so. So we'll see man. This is going to be an exciting time
Here's where my reality is is i'm not trying to put out more money on these games
I want to play them and hopefully yield something out of it. I understand
They're never going to promise me anything like that because of you know
How the government works and what legality happens with certain words and whatever but
My still human desire is to play them and make money
So I hope that comes. Uh, I hope that it's a fun experience and I think it will be we'll find out though

Is to become part of the economy?
Right, you know these games it has have an economy and we have the opportunity to become a part of that
And that's what's dope about the user generated content
That's to come along with the fact that we own these assets
And when you own an asset and there's certain games that have a certain meta
You know all the sudden they can become valuable for someone else and you have the opportunity to
Uh extract value from your own assets if you want to be able to sell it trade it
Delegate it. There's so many different ways you can kind of play this
So I think that's really exciting, you know along with other things while we wait for this particular game

Is has been in the works. Uh, I know there's a lot of really cool things. This is a highly anticipated

That's hitting the timelines right now from wagmason

That's loaded up with some toads popcorn. I'm definitely fomoing off of some of these other types of
uh classes as well, but just the concept and the um
How fun I think this project is going to be once it starts to reveal there's so many things that are gamified
And then there's so much thought
Are tied to these environments and these environment categories
So you're going to start to see in this upcoming
The grailed pfp collection you're going to start to see some of these tie into specific other deeds
You know and the thematic traits and the thematic rarity
Uh, you know will have uh, you know, you'll see a spectrum of some pfps that
But the more uncommon and rare ones you're going to see some of the thematic traits really tie in with each other
Really? Well, just like we see with like mega codas. You know what I mean?
Uh, I can't wait for that. There's a lot of information
That seems to be just coming out week after week as it relates to the grilled and I can't recommend it more to just tap in

And so at this point right now i'm
I'm just kind of like i'm going to give all my popcorn to nft traveler whenever it becomes uh, mintable and transferable
And and start to pay attention to it
but um, you know to be real honest with you like
I'll probably snipe one of the pfp's whenever it comes onto the market rather than doing all the gamification
Just because I don't have the the mental to like build it all out. That's

the the capacity and bandwidth to like get engaged and see how you can actually
You know get what you want out of it through the gamification of the popcorn and all the things that we're doing on chain and

So I I don't think people are gonna see this thing fall below 0.2 anymore

I don't know i've been telling people if there's a pfp you really want it's better to fuse two commons to get an uncommon
There's still a lot of uncommons left to be fused and at least when you have an uncommon
Whatever your most amount of popcorn is that's the class you're gonna have so you're guaranteed to have that
So if you really want like that, baby toads
You should get an uncommon and just make sure you have more baby toads popcorn than any other one
So i'm i'm ready. I got my rare tier
And uh, I got I got the toads popcorn ready to go
I wish I didn't add so much popcorn of the other ones
You know and just mint it because I would have just you know traded offloaded that popcorn and then
Loaded up load up even more toad popcorn. So hopefully I can get
You know, uh a better thematic rarity score so to speak

I'm really looking forward to seeing what other people get as well and how this comes about that video that came out

Thematic rarity is going to be based on total popcorn on your g tag. So you can have all those other popcorn there
It's going to help you get a higher rarity within your rare
You're going to get higher rarity traits and a better chance of having thematic rarity
You just got to make sure that the number one popcorn you have the most of
Is the toads then you don't have to worry you will have a baby toads and here's the other thing
I got to tell the people because bad teeth dropped this alpha the other day and I just think it's like super important
It's made me fall in love
Is if you have a rare your rare even the worst
Ranked rare, right? Like let's say it's rare with like one popcorn
Even the worst ranked rare is going to be higher ranked than any uncommons or commons
So if you have an epic you're gonna have a top 300 bfp in the collection
And so for people that have like rare you're gonna have like a top 700 bfp in the collection no matter how
Thematically aligned it all is you're gonna have some of the most rarest traits available
I think that's obviously it's a reason you still want to get popcorn because you still want to have better and even more aligned traits

You know in there's 10 categories. So tier is one of them
If you don't allow for random distribution
Across the rest of the tiers you wind up with a collection that looks very much the same in all the tiers
And so instead of doing that we're going to just have to go back to guaranteeing
What we said in the faq which is basically
You will get the rarest pfp in your class in tier based on the amount of popcorn you load. So
Um, I apologize for the confusion on that one modest
I know that you've been pushing on that but we did get a render today
That confirms that unfortunately that part of it is not possible
Well, i'm flooring it and getting the fuck out sorry guys this that's the end of that
But that being said if you have an epic g tag, you're still going to get some epic utility just as you've had
with the the different tiers of
Of your nft's and battle town moving forward. So
Um, that was always the intention. Um, we wanted to try and do this one extra thing
But it's literally not possible unless you want to have a collection that looks exactly the same in each class in tier
