it's really weird there's no music it uh it's uh
an odd way to to kind of sit in the audience and kind of hear nothing um
GM GM hope everybody is doing well today uh i have been asked to kind of co-host
the space for palette uh and kind of uh talk to the team today
and introduce you to kind of like what they're doing
uh i hope you're all doing well it is uh 3 a.m for me here in australia which is
shit uh but luckily the team is paying me
500 palette um you know behind the scenes to make this happen so
i'll be dumping on everybody later no that's a joke no i'm here because i
think it's it's cool to kind of connect with you guys and like to hear the team
have a conversation about what they're doing and kind of their
future plans and like kind of the i guess the ethos behind the project to
give you guys a little more clarity on like
where this came from and like why it's important and stuff
um i've got yellow and orb from the team up on stage
um i don't know if you guys know but cfw uh
doesn't speak on spaces um is that because he's yellow is alt
or is that because uh he's an artist and he doesn't want to destroy the brand by
speaking on spaces that's a question that you can ask
but he is real i know i've spoken to him multiple times
uh but no he won't be speaking today but he will be on stage with us
maybe i'll throw it over to yellow and orb and just say hello to you guys um
what's going on today uh how are you guys going i think it's
what the morning for you midday uh how are you doing how you tracking
yeah hey yeah i think uh yellow and i are both pretty close
in time zones it's morning here a little earlier for yellow
a little late morning for me uh and there's it's never a wrong time for
yeah i'm i'm i'm drinking one as we speak so
i agree with that sentiment completely um you're gonna be
you're gonna be up for a while well yeah i mean
i agree to do this without checking the time zone uh
conversion so that's on me that is my australian fault for doing that
no i'm happy to be here i think it's cool to connect with you guys and have a
chat about what the project's doing and kind
of give clarity kind of the whole list like where we're kind of
going collectively um but yellow gm how are you sir what's going on
gm i'm good it's uh it's just morning here for me so i'm also having a coffee
but uh looking uh looking forward to sharing a little bit
about my side i was just brought on as an advisor for this project
but uh i'm a longtime friend of cfw we've worked on some things together and
organized share a lot of circles uh really excited about
what palette is doing and uh i was drawn on to help
come up with a plan and uh i was in the thick of it for
the past few days and the past few weeks
yeah you guys have done an amazing job by the way like i think this is like
okay obviously there was uh some smart contract stuff at the start which
had an issue but that was resolved super quickly and i think that's like
a really kind of bullish uh thing to have done right to kind of like
owned the issue and kind of fixed it and then relaunched so quickly whereas
you know we have some other projects in this space i won't name them
uh i could tweet about them with uh smart contract issues and
massive gas issues who refuse to kind of acknowledge the problem which is
not the way forward so you know owning your mistakes and fixing them and then
relaunching successfully is like like i think people should be kind of like
confident when when when teams do that because it's like
it's it's taking a problem and fixing it and then you know
understanding that you know they fucked up partially
and solving it and providing value to hold us right i feel like that
that's something we should inspire confidence as opposed to teams that
do have problems in what's going on and they
they just ignore it and try to move on with it right and say nothing about it
like that's the opposite of what we need in this space so
kudos to you guys for doing such a successful relaunch i think it's like
it's really cool to see the the success of the project and like you know
uh new standards of contracts have issues
like if you if you're on the cutting edge of tech like you're gonna run into
problems so like i think you know kudos to like first of all
trying to push boundaries and second of all for fixing any issues with the
with the contract but um maybe i'll throw it over to you guys i
mean first of all is what i'll i'll say this like if anyone wants to
come come up on stage and sort of like ask some questions around the project we
can do that i i can't qualify what can and can't be
answered um because i'm not part of the team but
like do come up and ask some questions but i would say
try not to specifically ask about uh anything that's already transpired
try to ask about future state questions and maybe we can have a bit of a
discussion if we can answer those questions
um because like looking forward is kind of the most important thing
uh with this kind of stuff but um okay to that point um maybe i'll throw it
over to um orb or yellow do you want to talk about
kind of like the backstory here about like how
the project has come to fruition like what's the inspiration behind all of
this like what's the catalyst to kind of spur you guys on to
create this project i hate to derail you but uh we're not going to start
sorry we're gonna we're gonna start with a little message from cfw
and then i'm gonna break down what the project was about uh
how we got here because i think there's a lot of folks who have been with us
along the way who know the story and i think it'll be good to recap that
um but then there's a lot of new folks who have no freaking clue who we are we
all kind of know each other up here we've been grinding in the space for
over three years now um and i think it's important that a we
kind of get everybody to understand what cfw's
philosophy is uh what our philosophies have become over time
and kind of where we are now so uh if that's okay with you i'm going to start
there um and i do i agree with you i think
that questions should stay in context um but i also don't want to discourage
people from you know expressing their concerns or whatever else
i won't promise that we won't shoot it down uh because
you know if you're going to come up here and be a moon boy and went chart this
that you know we're probably going to shut that down and i'm from new york so
i have no qualms saying stop that please
without the please part but i'll try to be as polite as possible
um also a heads up if you're under the age of 18 and listening to this too bad
i curse a fucking lot uh so i apologize in advance to your
parents all right so let's go um all right so
this is a message from cfw personally um and we're going to start there
so here's here's what he wrote hey everyone uh before we dive in today i
would like to take a moment to express our gratitude
the journey with palette especially after three long years of creating art
in the web three space has been nothing short of incredible
the overwhelming support and love we've received in just two days
has surpassed anything orb and i have experienced before
uh every message every share and every interaction
has not gone unnoticed today's space is full of updates insights
and some truly bullish news that we can't wait to share with you
we're here to unpack it all uh while you may not hear my voice today
please know that your questions and thoughts will be addressed
as best we can let's make this face a landmark for a landmark event for palette
spread the word invite friends let's dive into this together uh thank you
for being a part of this every step of the way um and i and i can
confidently say that echoes my my sentiments and thoughts as well
we're incredibly thankful for where we've gotten this part
so i'm gonna dive into kind of the breakdown of where we came from
um and how this all started and where we're going all in kind of one shot
and we'll build from there uh so bear with me if this sounds like a
monologue for a little bit i apologize in advance
so okay the very beginning of this there was this place called foundation
where everything fucking started was a bunch of artists
got on web 3 and said oh crap i can sell my art here this is cool
what is this um and so we met over selling one of ones
trying to navigate the space together there's a group of friends basically that
came from those days that spring of 2021 specifically
since then a lot of us have branched out um done different projects
some have been incredibly successful some have stuck it through the bear and
you know really come to a good place through it
some have disappeared you know and we don't really judge anybody for it this
is a really cut throat space it's really hard to keep up it's really fast
it's been 84 years and everything fucking hurts
it's fucking exhausting out here you know but it's very rewarding
and so once we realized that there are rewards not just
financial rewards but as artists feeling like we have succeeded in something or
achieved something new instead of throwing the same paint at the same
canvas repeatedly since we've had that realization
cfw and i have been dreaming of building our own project incubator
it's been years when we did pill heads initially we really wanted to
like take any profits we got from that and go that direction
we're experienced enough in the real world and the digital world to know that
it's fun to make art but it's even more rewarding to work as a community
so that's always been our focus so first and foremost
we're artists that just needs to be clarified yes we can shitcoin and
dgen once in a while but the art is really why we're here
now we've experienced the best and the worst of this space
we've also experienced the best and the worst of the traditional art space in
various industries from web design and development to motion
design media manipulation like you know
photography video editing stuff like that right
and cfw and i are both also people who have worked with both physical devices
and software so the transition for us to the space
was very natural you know like because this place welcomes
digital editing digital output stuff like that
and i had actually quit writing code for a long time at that point so
it was web 3 is the reason i started writing code all over again
also if you're hearing cats screaming i apologize they're very feisty today
come on all right sorry about that uh so okay
after three years in the space we are more than ever motivated
to take the profits we've had with this project and begin
investing them in our communities so basically what we're saying here is we
are starting something new we want to elevate artists we want to
explore the crossover the intersectionality of on-chain art
and traditional mediums as well since we're both multidisciplinary art nerds
we really just kind of want to lean into the idea that like everything has
a space here so we're not trying to like say
we're going to do one thing what we want to do is take our time and our energy
and the you know amazing people we get to work with
and continue building things instead of stagnating
and you know just kind of falling off the the level of interest that we have
with art so like as an example personally with
iterative you know i would love to take the art
that i'm making tie it into biorhythmic inputs in a
physical space you sit in a room you breathe and you meet
you watch the iterations change with your breathing because it's live inputs
for runtime executable code right so stuff like that's really exciting to me
but it doesn't mean that we're also not excited you know saying hey do you do
photography do you do 3d development like what's your digital bridge like
how are you finding yourself in web 3 what is it you're interested in and
how can we help right how can we elevate all of these things
so anyway we're now in talks with multiple parties
like artists founders a lot of og's from 2020 onwards
and we're all kind of very excited to explore something new
and hopefully better than some of the options we have out there
um i do i do want to clarify one thing like we're making kind of a big
announcement here and kind of playing it off like it's a low-key casual thing
uh like like we're trying to build something big here
but we want to be clear that we're not here to like
compete with other services or marketplaces or incubators
that will happen anyway that's the nature of markets competition may or
may not occur we but that's not our goal um we're also
not trying to be the next fadenza or a ship a goose you know what i mean like
that's that's also something the market will
decide for us like we're artists like we just want to
make art and if other artists want to come and make art with us
and not come knocking on our door and say i want to be the next fadenza then
we're all about it because we don't want to
we don't want to do that that's a that's a bullshit bullshit approach
and i think the space has been plagued for that for a really long time
so we want to work with everyone but we want to do it right
right so we've gotten this far taking our time
uh we've been focusing and prioritizing our community
and shipping quality art and products hell it took us
what is it two years since pillheads to get where we are
you know we dropped at the worst possible time in the market
the team then was amazing the team now is amazing all of us stuck it through the
bear pretty much and i think that it's a it's a sign of
commitment and i would rather not be working with
anyone else at this point because we were there for each other throughout
this whole thing and we want to carry that energy forward with what we're
trying to do next right so after three years uh i think the
idea is uh you got to take your time and do
things right now i admit the hypocrisy of this because we shipped a palette in
15 freaking days which is like absolutely insane
um i have so much respect more respect than i had prior to anybody involved
with this because we just burned the candle at all ends
like this was an insane roller coaster um
and so one of the things that i want to emphasize here is that while you're all
looking at pngs like the first two steps we're taking with this is
one there's a second upgrade that's going to occur where
we kind of go on chain and then the ultimate final step for palette will be
to go to a third fully on state uh on chain
state um so that's just one of the things that
we're planning to do to give you an idea of how like these
things take time they can't be done overnight otherwise you end up running
into a lot of problems we ran into some massive problems um on
thursday night here uh where we shipped it everything looked
fine and then we found a problem with one of the libraries that was provided
with the bundle we got right it was not really a fault of anyone
except us um and everybody else involved in the space
because we wanted to move fast this is the nature of web 3 this is just how
things work here and when you move fast you break stuff
but we also moved fast and we fixed stuff um
i am uh i i'm still in disbelief that we found the problem
and shipped it in under five and a half hours after launch
um i i don't really know how to explain the feelings and the things that we went
through during that period but i'll tell you like we freaked out but
there was a lot of laughter and i am just so fucking humbled to be able to
work with people who can like ship something in a short period of time
like that especially a fix and a relaunch
so in that vein um i want to say we we would prefer not to do that again
uh so please be patient with us you know
chart this chart that whatever like things take time and i think we've
proven that i'm really proud of that i think one of the importance it's just
quickly so obviously like again i i talked to it at the start of the space
of like the the ability to kind of like
reship features is like obviously first of all like kudos to you guys for
doing it successfully like because it's like
most teams wouldn't have done that in that period of time
they would have taken much longer to kind of do it and first of all they
probably wouldn't have owned the issue so i think like you know
most projects only get one chance at a successful launch in this space
but the fact that you guys could be successful
in the second iteration of that and address the problem so quickly i think
it's super bullish and it made people very confident like
personally like when i saw the response i was out in dm telling people like hey
look this is not an issue this is actually
bullish because look at the response look at how the team is kind of like
coalesced around this problem look at the fix that they're rolling out like
look at who's gotten involved and how quickly they're responding like
you should be confident in the team going forward based on the response time
alone right because again we have precedence in the space
where like problems occur and teams just ignore them
they sweep it under the rug and they hope like that that nobody's going to
notice and they keep pushing forward and like
you guys are the opposite of that and like i think that really needs to be
pointed out like if that's the the way that you guys are behaving
with the very start of the project right before you have made any
any kind of profits right what does that look like long term
and i think like projects that behave ethically within the space
and have a team that is responsive and communicative
and kind of like willing to own their mistakes and provide solutions
in like a prompt manner i like the projects that you should be investing in
because like those are the people that are going to be here for the long term
right then it's not some pump and dump it's not some hype cycle where it's like
purely taking money and then doing nothing it's like okay people with a
vision getting together understanding a mistake happened fixing
the mistake still being super successful and pushing
forward with kind of like everything they need to do so i just wanted to flag that
as saying like that's not common and people should be
like aware of that yeah no thank you i mean thanks for
acknowledging that and we definitely feel seen um and you
know thanks for the kind words seriously and
i think some of the sentiment from the community also like made this possible
for us as well i mean like people really believed in us you
know and we're not used to that in this space
uh so again like this comes back to gratitude and
and actually thanks for mentioning that because it actually ties into the final
point i want to make before i end my uh you know monologue here
um because i want to pass this over to yellow in a second because he has some
input as well uh he was a big part of helping us make this happen so
um before that i just want to emphasize that we do have a tradition of gifting
um this is something cfw and i share from our respective cultures
um i might be a new yorker i'm also turkish um
and being from south asia cfw like we we share
a little bit of commonality in our cultures which is
we grew up saying it's nice to give people things uh you know like we don't
we're not hoarders uh we're actually awful capitalists we really suck at this
let's take our shit you know um so as an example like
cfw last this past year shipped the physical figurines that were promised
that launched two years ago a year and a half ago
um and we we were really over the moon about that the quality of it was great
you know it took time um but it came through and i mean mine is sitting on my
table right now i was so fucking floored when it like came out of
the box in my hands like it's just quality work so
thanks cfw i still love that thing um but so
to continue that tradition and to acknowledge that like
this is a community effort um and that we're working for you
and with you right uh we want to just emphasize that there will be more
snapshots there will be more cool things happening
and we are not abandoning the original pillheads generative collection
or any other stacy collections or even what happens to iterative after we
launch you know like all of these things are part of our ecosystem now
and we're just going to try to build something where
it respects all of these things and if there comes moments where we're like
okay maybe the relevance of this is kind of waning or whatever
we're going to talk to the community and decide what's best you know like there
are ways to evolve the things that we've created
i don't like this idea that everything built in this space
is a single thing standalone and you just move on to a new project
i think that artists require um some continuity between their
periods of work or directly between their pieces
and i'm not talking about consistency and styles i'm talking about
consistency and philosophy messaging uh an ethos and a philosophy so this is
all pretty esoteric and boring doggo shit for most of the degens but like
if you want to fucking invest in people that are going to give back
these are the kinds of people you need to look for in this space people who
put their heads down at one in the morning and crank
till 6 a.m to make sure a relaunch goes off without a hitch
knowing full well that the thing we're shipping is designed to keep giving back
with all the other products we've brought to market and all the art we're
going to continue to create well just on that note yeah that's all
i just want to push back on that saying that it's boring because i don't think it
is i think that what you are talking about is
founders who have built something in the past
and are rolling that into the future of what they're building right like it's
all an ecosystem and i think that is not
personally i don't find that boring i find that
interesting and like i find that sort of like
a founder or founders having a an understanding of like how web3 works in
that okay the people that got you to where you
are the people that you bring along on that journey
and you roll into the product going forward right again product we can use
we can omit that word but that's the word i'm going to use for now
right product or project and like understanding
how to build an ecosystem and to leverage you know existing tokens and to
build out that into something broader is kind of
super interesting to me and i think that there's so many
kind of projects in the space that dilute
their again i'm going to say product offering again
shoot me later uh by you know just constantly expanding and not really
working out how to you know weave all of that tapestry
together but with kind of these new i guess token
standards in erc 404s which i'm super bullish on by the way like
you guys have been able to weave together multiple kind of projects and
visions into kind of like this one uh i guess
i'm not going to say behemoth but like moving kind of like
art uh meta where as you said before and i'd like to expand on that if you can
it's going to be an incubator for the arts to kind of drive
that kind of thinking forward and i'm super curious about that because
basically what you guys have done is like
you've allowed the kind of fractionalization and tokenization
of art in a specific manner that appeals to both
people who like art people who like nfts and people who are part of you know
like i'm gonna say you know the meme coin
movement right so you've done three things in one go
allowing multiple projects to be included
um that's super interesting to me because you've kind of like
paved a new path for art projects going forward and it's
like laid the framework or you know the the train tracks or the rails for these
projects to kind of exist on um like what what was kind of what's
kind of your like i guess uh what's the word i'm looking for
like why what hmm what's the word i'm trying to put
what's the uh fuck i can't even think of the word
why did you guys why are you so forward thinking like what what what's
what's the catalyst to kind of choose to walk this path
as opposed to kind of just like putting out a completely separate project that
isn't connected um well let me let me answer one thing
first which is the the product word i mean look i'm a product person i have a
real world job too um i hate to admit it at this point but
yes i mean everything's a fucking product
ours just happens to come with a real art attached to it so
i'm not offended by using the word product you know
um that being said i mean i think the answer to your question is really simple
um we have experience making art um we're artists
first and foremost so when we create something
yeah we might be single-minded during the process of creating a thing and
shipping it you know or trying to make sure that we look at it once it's done
and not hate ourselves you know it's like we we want to look
at something we create and say i'm proud of this you know
um i'll tell you a secret i'm never proud of anything i create
because everything i create i look at and i see flaws and i'm like okay
i i need to do this better you know and which is which is why we just never
stop i think i think that if we do stop
we have a hard time making the stops between
art into vacations because we're plagued with how much better we can do
it's an obsession and i i think that there are there is a space
and a time for uh for taking a breath right
but these moments are not that like web 3 projects
every time you create something you're like wait what else can i do with this
it's not just the art anymore it's the technology you're building on
you know so i think that's our motivation i think that's why we're
always forward thinking um because you know if you're if you're
creating something and i'm saying this as an artist
not as a dev or as a product person or you know
anything like that like as an artist it's like if you're creating something
and along the way you're not having these thoughts of like wait what else
can i do or here's another project or there's that abandoned project in the
notebook that i never finished like if you're not having these thoughts
i'm curious what your inputs are or how much
damage or trauma you're carrying that you can't do that because
i have never interviewed an artist in my life that hasn't had multiple projects
on deck when they're dedicated to their medium so
so i think that roundabout way of saying that's a roundabout way of saying
this is just how we function man like i don't i don't know any other way to live
you know yeah and i think it's interesting because like
again just sort of look at the the precedence in the space and a lot of
artists came up through 21 22 put out a bunch of projects but they
haven't tied that together so like again kudos to you guys for kind of like
finding kind of a creative solution to kind of weaving a tapestry together i
think that's that's super interesting and super
bullish and i think like a lot of people in the space can kind of learn for this
example and i'm kind of really uh looking
forward to like where this incubator idea kind of like manifests because i
think like you guys have already set you know a
precedent of success like how how can this be done successful
and i think that anyone who's wanting to kind of mimic that
especially from the the art scene should basically be
be in your dms and asking you guys like how do they get involved and like what
do they need to do and like you know like uh pitching new guys like new ideas
because becoming part of like the arts ecosystem um of the 404
kind of like revolution i think is going to be something super
super kind of bullish for this cycle specifically like
i'm just going to say it like erc 721s and whatever 1155s are f***ing boring
i don't want to hear about them i want to hear about like the dynamic you know
and modular contract standards where like i can do multiple things at once
like to me having been in the industry for like
a number of years that's what excites me ecosystem plays excite me
kind of like i guess like building out a world
having kind of like currency having multiple projects you know woven
together uh and and having like you know a rising
tide kind of lifting all ships is kind of i think is a meta
and a lot of people are sleeping on that or haven't kind of seen the vision
so i'm kind of like i'm really bullish on the fact that you guys kind of
first of all like flagged it and then executed on it and i feel like a lot of
people can kind of learn from that um i do i don't want to interrupt you but i
do i do want to make one point of clarity here um i respect your opinion
um and i i'm glad that you feel that way i just want to
really emphasize one point here that we're fucking hardcore agnostic with
this technology i am not tied to one token standard or
another i see benefits to all types um i think some projects do not belong in
an erc 404 standard where other ones fit perfectly um i'm
going to give you an example uh so for example you can fractionalize
an nft i i work with feisty dao i i'm an admin there i'm on the multisig like i
i work with folks who work in the era in the in the arena of fractionalizing
data and nfts uh we have an erc 20 token you can buy on it you know and
look at the chart all you fucking want if you want to you know
um there are a hundred different ways to approach
one idea especially one of fractionalization
this is something that is not new um and but there are many new ways of
approaching it but it doesn't also mean that it's the
only way to do things um there's a reason i'm not launching
iterative as an erc 404 i think it's a right tool the right job
kind of space i think technology affords us the ability to make a
conscious and well-informed choice i don't think we should buy into every
single meta yes we absolutely flagged this and took
advantage of the moment it also happened to fit with what we
wanted to do and had been talking about but i want to emphasize this and make
this very clear that we are not tied to one standard
one idea or one way of doing things everything has its place
in this space um and um you know if you want to just talk about it
crypto punks will never die i'll always look up to that shit
terraforms one of the most amazing projects in the space
full respect to 113 and math castles like there there are one of one artists
out there who don't need anything but a 720 or 1155 to drop their art on
mad respect i see ever fresh in the crowd i see a whole bunch of people in
the crowd i respect like to the moon and back you know
and none of them need these things but if artists are interested in exploring a
new way of selling their art or exposing it to
crossover of tokenomics into traditional art world stuff
erc 404 is an excellent place you know to learn how to do this and see
if it fits your vibe you know so again like i i respect your
opinion i get where you're at but i also think that there is a space for
everything um some some of the rails that the
system runs on will never expire we're running on an evm man this is
like so fucking powerful there's other chains to explore too
how cool would it be if we did a collection drop on
as an ordinal set right like you want some ordinals let's fucking do that too
you know why not um did i just drop alpha
i don't know maybe i did yeah no that's good to hear like i mean i'm just very
i get so bored in the space that i love to do stuff right that's my bias
um but i i like that you guys are committed to kind of doing
all things i think that's that's a it's a smart approach to be dynamic and
flexible is the way forward uh but i want to throw to yellow i
want to hear from him um around some of kind of the tech
staff the launch strategy the distribution the LP
because i think this stuff like we're talking about 404s and like
a lot of people still don't even really know what a 404 is and how it functions
um i i personally was explaining this a lot to people on launch about like what
they specifically needed to do um but yellow like uh can you just sort
of answer some of these questions i don't have any specific questions for
you but maybe you just want to like uh chime in here and and give you a two
cents on kind of like this whole process
yeah sounds great uh i'll be the the nerdy number guy
to orb's cool collected uh artist who likes to throw out the
you know new york style street talk so um i was basically brought on by cfw
uh my background is primarily numbers i like spreadsheets i like things like
flooring protocol which has done fractionalization for
existing nfts uh and with erc 404 kind of doing that uh there's a lot of
things like lps that come into play but first of all let's talk a little bit
about uh why i wanted to do this uh i know cfw
uh for a few years he's been uh a great friend
uh an artist i really respect i'm i've also got my pillheads figure sitting
here on the shelf i love it i see it every morning it's
uh literally the only decorative piece i have
around me that's not uh you know some of my own work so
i really respect him uh and when he approached me for this he
asked me to help a bit with uh how to distribute the tokens
especially within his communities the vision for him and orb was always about
focusing on his holders and collectors uh pillheads is a project that he started
several years ago uh it was a free mint and he was able to and he's basically
supported it for several years uh he's always crazy he's always
sweeping his own floors he's always doing
uh different things and uh you know he did uh some manifold mints he's done
some personal ordinals on his side he's done all sorts of things to support his
community and it was clear from day one when we
talked about it that the vision should always be to focus on his holders and
collectors so part of that distribution plan was to
make sure that uh people who had his generative his
stasis and a couple of his other collections that they were definitely
taken care of in this case in terms of allocation
and that should be done in a way the cool thing about erc 404 is that we're
able to actually give people a partial allocation
whereas with a traditional mint or allow list you would have to do say
you must own three to get one but in this case you can actually allocate
one third of a unit to somebody uh which allows you to
also keep smaller people in play without necessarily shunning them
we also want to make sure that the windows were not
go ahead sorry just just to touch on that yellow like i think that's an
interesting thing about 404s um and this is kind of why i'm bullish on them
because like with traditional projects it's like okay
with the 721 like unless you own the actual token you can't participate
right but with 404s i can earn 0.1 and you can
own one and we're both in the project and i think that's kind of an
interesting thing going forward so like maybe that's redefining kind of like
project participation uh in this ecosystem you know like in that
fractionalization is allowing much more like a greater degree of holders to
participate in a project as opposed to people who own you know full full
tokens um which i think is interesting i haven't worked out how that
kind of plays out long term but it's something that i'm kind of bullish on
yeah absolutely i think uh one of the things that cfw has already
rolled out is uh the inclusion of people that hold at least 0.1 i think he
had uh some plans for that so he's already
started on that side i just want to talk a little bit more
on the distribution part there it's a little boring here but i think it just
kind of communicates a bit of the the ethos of what they had in mind then i'll
talk a little bit about the the lps that were pushed out
and just a little bit about the relaunch just uh just to kind of get some of that
stuff out of the way i'm not the dev for the project so i
won't talk on the the contract side there but the
distribution plan that we had was not over allocated we wanted to
have windows that were fair so we had a phase one that was
guaranteed and again this was heavily not over allocated
and also those people that weren't able to maintain that window could also
maintain the second which included all pandora holders we wanted to showcase
the synergy with pandora with uh giving a first-come first-served
section there as well as an airdrop over to them and
once we we launched uh you know the mints came in on the
guaranteed phase uh again it was never over allocated so the momentum was was
really good there uh you know people have to really
differentiate the fact that this is not uh one of these traditional whitelist
projects there's a blend of allow list here along with uh lp
public launch which is totally different from what you see from other projects
and again when i say not over allocated it was actually not over allocated
because from the past few years we're so used to
projects that say hey we're not over allocated
uh and then 100 and 100 of the mint is done in the first
two blocks like the first few minutes and you're like well how is that not
over allocated and then they just never talk about it again
so in this case it really was and it really reflects in what was minted
so let's move to the the public portion which was effectively done
with the lower band of the lp uh a lot of projects for 404 that we studied
basically just launched you know a v2 pool and for people
who aren't familiar with how pools actually work a v2 pool is
basically full range you just put in some of the token in this
case it's pallet you put in some eth typically in a half half ratio you set
the price and then you let it run to the races you let snipers
run over it uh you basically have this full band
liquidity and that's how a lot of shit coins work
but you know pallet is not a shit coin pallet
is uh an art project at the core and so we wanted to set this up for
success so part of what we did was we had
several targeted bands uh some of these bands had
only pallet uh and there was multiple of these bands
uh spanning from around our centered launch price which was 0.1
eth per pallet then we also had a thick liquidity band that was put under this
just in case uh launch didn't go as expected however
we had a lot of initial interest and it blew through all of our bands and into
the higher higher range of this um part of this could have been because
of how the contract was for the initial launch
and uh you know it's the problematic piece for some people there
uh this is again this is the first time also that a project has ever done sort
of this hybrid allow list and lp launch so we had
some advice from pandora as well on how to launch it they were
a little bit unsure how it would work with the allow list but in the end i
think it was set up pretty good there once we realized that there was a flaw
with things and that a relaunch was required
this was the amazing part about working with our dev and with cfw and with orb
uh yeah at this point i think cfw hadn't slept in 36 hours
and it was all it was immediately agreed look the only way to do this if we're
gonna migrate and relaunch is to do it asap
uh you know from the past this was mentioned earlier but
i think everybody's been part of an ft mint where things didn't go good and
then you've waited two weeks to relaunch and nobody cares at that point
uh it's unfortunate but that's the attention economy of the space
so we decided look this is not a difficult fix
uh but let's get this done let's get this done this evening
and we still have to figure out how we're gonna redo this uh gas is also
more expensive to airdrop these because it's both a token and an nft
but airdropping was the only option possible
we committed to relaunching as soon as possible and we also wanted to take into
account the fairest way for this given that it was the late night hours for
people in north america we also had to decide on a fair relaunch
price and we had to take into account uh the unis club action we took into
account uh the nft price that people were paying
on uh marketplaces such as openc and we also wanted to
make sure we got this done but then give people some notice to get some rest
catch up on things ensure that you know people had a chance to read over it to
be fair there's actually some people who minted had their allocation had their
nft uh got airdropped a replacement went overnight
and the price pretty much was where it was when they went to bed and they knew
nothing actually happened so another part of this was we had to
a pretty large snapshot for this 404s are a little bit different because they
actually don't show up with a whole token
uh if you check on etherscan for example so
uh our dev was able to pull together something and roll it a progressive
snapshot and there might have been a few fringe
cases missed with this but uh the team has been doing their best to
settle up verify these the mods and team have been
really attentive in addressing these when we relaunched our lp uh we we
thickened all the bands uh below because you know a lot of
people think immediately oh relaunch is a death knell uh this is
terrible it'll never work so what we did was we really thickened
up a lot of support underneath the price that we relaunched
that and fortunately because of the the speed of
rolling things over and because of uh you know i guess the the quality
of being able to do this uh there was a lot of attention immediately
um aside from that the the cfw was also really really proactive in
locking the largest lp position he had for 12 months and i saw some people
asking why lock liquidity there so for people who are newer to uh coin
action i mean a it's a security and b it's a
commitment to the project once the lp position is locked like that
uh he can't pull it um aside from that there has been some eth
that's also been added further into liquidity
and uh allocated for uh buybacks and things like that
so yeah i'll hand it back to orb or to boot there if you guys have anything to
add or any questions about that piece yeah so like the question i have like
um i think that a lot of people who are coming into 404s
are looking at them like nft projects and i think that's
that's not the way to kind of have the vision like obviously it's a hybrid
right so like we kind of like these minting functions
can you explain just a little bit more about the lp because like
in my lay person's understanding like there is no real
success metric in terms of mint numbers with this
with these kind of projects right it's like uh
like you know what i mean like it's going to work regardless of how many
people like you know are a part of a free sale or or get you
know token access before kind of it goes live like um
because you know when you launch a coin normally like
the coin doesn't require 100 of the coin to be owned right you know so like
can you explain sort of how the lp kind of pulls work a little bit more because i
think like that's what people are lacking
maybe understanding of how 404s function
yeah sure so the interesting part about this is that uh
while you have an nft that you are able to view
collect uh an exchange on on various marketplaces
the fact that this is tokenized means that you're able to
trade it via tools like uniswap or on decentralized exchanges and also
on centralized exchanges if they do add them which
you know you can see pandora announced a few partners like that recently
so so this is a bit different in that you can have people who are collecting
their art pieces and viewing the nfts and completely
ignoring the d5 side of it and you also have people who
can trade the token has a lot more liquidity so when i say
liquidity uh you can think basically you know are you able to buy and sell the
tokens easily like without uh and how does the price
change according to that so one one thing that blur did to really change
the game is that it added a lot of liquidity in the form of
bidding for people so it used to be you would have offers on open sea but the
spread was really big but blur made it that
you know you have liquidity on nfts and that you're able to
dump into bids or able to you know uh you can see
what that support kind of looks like so uh on our side
you can think of uh the liquidity pools as sort of
being that support so how a liquidity pool works is that you can either add
one side token you can add uh or you can add both the tokens and
basically liquidity is concentrated on a range
and uniswap basically spreads the uh eth in this case which is one token
and palette in the second token depending on how on what the price
action is so if you have a band that say only eth
uh below the current price if the token moves into that price range what
happens is you know you need to have some eth there for people who are
potentially selling so therefore uh that eth will be
converted to palette and basically serve as a support
in that price range and vice versa if you have only palette above the current
price and people are buying then some of that palette gets exchanged
for eth um when i say we added deep liquidity
that means you know we had many hundred eth
that was thrown in uh and basically we had to come up with
you know what is the current price going to be when we start this pool
which we ended up selling at uh 0.4 eth per palette
and so we basically threw a lot of eth in below that and the price uh
you know and therefore there is support there if people
want to buy tokens sell tokens you know all that is there
uh and that's handled independently without you having to worry about some
farmer pulling their their bids because uh you know they're not happy with the
market price or or you know if they want some points
there something like that does that help yeah i think that's
interesting because um a lot of people would look at a
project and say okay you had you know x number of mints
okay that's the revenue that you guys have taken from
the project right like what have you done with the
you know the thousand eth or whatever right like but in this case
with 404s like you know the amount of liquidity that has to be provided to
make these projects function is not you know it's completely different to
what nfts are so like i think i'm just trying to
highlight to people that like when when you do a 404 like
in order to keep the thing like everything healthy like the amount of
actual revenue quote-unquote revenue that you have to put into these
liquidity pools is is astronomical and like it's not
this is not like the the get rich quick kind of meta of
of 2024 like this is like uh people who are doing 404s are doing
things because they want to like you know create and build it and like
right like this is not a shit coin a shit coin is is
is the way to to instant instant liquidity for the
the founders right but if 404s is like deep liquidity
for everybody who owns the token and and like you can have a look at it like it
was like 2.2 million dollars or something at this point
so like that that's costly so it isn't like this linear scale of like one mint
equals one x you know one x profit kind of thing so i
think the more that people start to like
participate with 404s and understand you know more of the basics of 404s they're
going to see like how much work goes into this and i
think that's that that's kind of something that
people need to pay attention to because again
it's both nft and you know we'll say esc 20 token even though it's neither
but it has to fulfill both of those kind of camps and criteria and kind of like
what the expectations are you know simultaneously which is like
a super heavy lift and it's not the most profitable way for people to make money
in this space so like people who are building with this kind of standard i'm
kind of bullish on uh because it takes a lot of like foresight
and kind of like dedication to the craft um so like i personally find it
exciting i'm pretty biased but like yeah i kind of bullish on like what you guys
did there um but just a question then yellow like
okay so like what what kind of made you
come on and want to work with this project because i mean like for context
i want to give people a little bit of background i'm not going to
dox anything here yellow but like you're a really successful trader in the space
you have i mean you are the most successful trader i know
actually uh who's been able to like do super well throughout the bear market
um one of i think probably the the the best thinkers in the space around
like uh alpha and and like looking at
opportunities and and and like where to kind of like put your time so like
what made you come onto this project and say hey this is something that i want to
be part of from an advisory and kind of tokenomics perspective and like
like because again you don't need to do this but like what what made you come
along and think like this is something that i want to participate in and this
is something that i want to help
so you're really overstating what i do but uh
appreciate it but to be honest the reason i want to come on this project
is because i think uh cfw is one of the realest people i
know in this space um and if he if he asked me hey i need uh i
need a loan i need help on this i need anything
uh i would just say how much if he asked me to jump i'd say how high
and the circles that i know orb through uh he's highly regarded he's
highly respected uh you know he comes very highly vouched and also we both
fucking love terraforms so it was an easy choice to work with
these guys um and really it didn't come down to
you know i like what my expectations were going into it it's just that these
are really awesome people to work with uh they're doing something cool and
different and uh there's a way that i can help a
little bit with uh my knowledge and skill set and i'm happy to do so
yeah i'm going to push back and say that i'm not overstating your
your your contributions and and and ability and within the ecosystem but we
won't we won't push too hard at that but yeah i would just say like just to
bring it down like everybody give orb and yellow a follow because these guys
have been grinding and cfw as well and the pilot account
uh all of them have been grinding in the space for a long time and they're super
interesting people and i think that like you should try and connect with them
on maybe a personal level if they if they've got time at some point in the
future uh definitely people worth paying
attention to and definitely people worth knowing within the ecosystem
but maybe i'll throw it back over to orb and like maybe you touched on
uh you mentioned alpha before and you touched on
some some ideas around the incubator and even ordinals etc
is there anything you can speak to around kind of like that narrative going
forward like what can we expect from pallet in the future
yeah that's a good question um thanks yeah i mean
i think uh well first of all so thanks yellow for the kind words i mean like
this is really a really like a happy party
you know what i mean like it's not a bunch of people at a desk in a corporate
scenario yelling about profit which is really uh
very very healthy uh and i think that's also why we're kind of successful
because we we covered all the bases with all
the people that are good at what they do we got a delegate
in this space so uh so yeah thanks to everybody for that
now moving forward right so like we said i mean this
the biggest announcement here from us is that we are building an incubator and
with that comes a few things one is we obviously want to stay
relevant and we want to contribute to emerging
technologies and focus on the art right like so
those two things are at the core of everything that we're doing however
with pallet again we want to kind of evolve it
and that doesn't necessarily translate to like
everything we do moving forward will be another palette
right we have pill heads generative we have the originals
we have all the stuff that cfw has created over the last three years
and we're adding new projects to it as we go right so
part of the idea is to explore things for example ordinals where we can find a
more creative way to kind of not just create
something that's cool to look at but actually is an
ode to what those networks represent what that
specific blockchain in this case represents
you know we're look we're not like i sound pretty serious half the time but
we're total idiots most of the time like
you know my my initial thought with ordinals was just like why don't we just
do a 64 by 64 block and uh make it entirely based on the
current hash of whatever block we're on or what you
know like just like let's just get stupid and just mash numbers together on
the dev side for the art and see what the hell comes out right so
that those are the kinds of ideas that are floating around in our heads
but also like 69 69 i mean come on you know like
you're just doing it for the culture man you know so
we're having a lot of fun along the way um i don't think we'll ever ship
anything that we don't feel closely aligned with or that isn't fun
um but also i think cfw and i both have a healthy respect for the arts that
came before us and i don't just mean in nfts
um the reason we leaned into the bow house for this is related to cfw and
mine's backgrounds you know like he hasn't he has some
background like exposure to architecture motion design all this other
stuff i have a bit of an art background and
like there's we you know bow house is amazing
historically it's so relevant to so many things and
when we're talking about in this case what i've done is the art is
literally quantized but i don't like using that term because i didn't really
approach it like that but we're taking an original image
grabbing values from blocks we clut up in a in a grid right and then passing
them forward to the new reconstituted version of it so we're
we're kind of like mashing up an existing thing with the context of a
bow house approach so kind of esoteric kind of fun
whatever but it also ties in with the notion of a
fractionalized erc 404 i'm technically fractionalizing
elements of the original source file and carrying them over
to a new piece of art that happens to reflect kind of like
it's kind of like a parallel uh semantically right like of like what it
what it means to have something fractionalized so the art itself is
fractionalized as well as literally being fractionalized as a token right so
it's kind of crazy to think about so i think with other projects moving
forward before we get to them we do have a couple of upgrades that
we want to do to the existing art that we have now for palette
um so one of the reasons this didn't go fully on chain from the get
and that we ended up with pngs living on ipfs
is because we did ship this thing in 15 fucking days
the one thing that i emphasize along the way and i am so grateful for chance
because he is just so goaded like this dude is a fucking bad
ass like i there it's very rare that you get to work with a dev who is so
good at what he does that you ask a question and they're like yeah we can
figure it out you know it's just like wait what like what do you mean
um we worked with white lights a few years ago same level of work
like we we're just really blessed to work with people like this so when i
said to him along the way hey man i need to make sure that like we
can like update everything how it needs to be so that i can move this thing
fully on chain like i need to run time code like this is
this is part of my personal need you know what i mean and he was just like yeah
no it's not a problem you know we'll set up the contracts
properly get token uris pointed properly you know like all this stuff
right so uh there is an upgrade path uh we're
gonna do that first uh there'll be two upgrades there'll
be one in the next few weeks hopefully and then the following one about a month
or two after that um but we're doing this right and slowly
plus we want to give the community some options along the way to kind of like
have input on it and give them a little bit of choice along
the way um so we want to kind of empower the community and again like it's a part
of giving back like you spent money on this thing you've
been with us this long even the newcomers like
we respect the fact like we you may not care about the art you might just be
here to flip some shit it's fine like we we're not living in a
diluted state like we understand you know what's the word the culture that
we exist in but along the way we want to make sure
everybody's rewarded now if you want to come along and flood it i'm also
welcoming that because uh that's awesome like go ahead and talk to our
community and see what comes back like we fucking love
our community um not just because they're supportive of our art but because
they're all real ass motherfuckers like they know what
the shit they're talking about we got traders we got artists we got
people who build tech we got people in the real world
in web 3 they're developing amazing things um like
just come play with us you know and see where this art is going to go
like there's there's so much opportunity here for everybody to put in an idea
and have some output come out of it also on top of that um
i i just gotta say this because one of my biggest
issues with web 3 has been um what's the word
hoarding good shit not sharing um my word
of the year is compersion feeling joy for the joy
of others like it feels really good seeing others succeed i think the
problem with the space isn't collectors and curators
i think the problem with the space is artists that are jealous
and can't be happy for the success of other artists you know i've been saying
this for years now and i think that granted i get a little
worked up and i'm prone to getting really upset about like hardcore
capitalism um like it's just who i am um i i
also like i'm really happy when i see artists succeed
now to be somebody who is i guess considered successful i don't know like
we did a thing and we're really proud of it but like
being part of that now i i'm really humbled because now i know what it feels
like in this space this is a new feeling for me you know
but i'm not i'm not i don't think cfw and i are capable of letting go of that
notion that hey we want to see other people go through this like we want to
see other people succeed you know and i think our community is
defined by that um so again like please come join us on
discord so i'm going to take this opportunity for a hand it back to you and
kind of sign off mostly i think we're like
up to an hour at this point um we are going to be closing telegram
um there's a lot of reasons for that i'm not going to get into i personally
fucking hate telegram i don't know how you guys do it mad respect props
boot you are insane i don't know how you deal with that shit
props to you good job um but we are closing telegram like it's it's just
unmanageable and doesn't fit what we're trying to do
join us on discord we're moving everything there um it's easier it's
more efficient to handle our existing community there
um and you know for them to handle our shit you know because we're crazy people
um but also like we want to help onboard new people
in an environment that isn't spread across multiple networks
we just want to keep it in one place um so yeah i'm just kind of putting that
out there that we want you to come join us on discord
um and you know you said earlier being our dms please stop
sending us messages but god damn it there are so many messages
um but but yeah i mean we we want to talk to everybody you know there'll
there'll be a place where we can all have the conversation as needed
uh with both the serious folks and folks who don't know what they're getting into
you know we're happy to talk with everyone so yeah
yeah i think that makes a lot of sense so like okay yeah uh
closing out that telegram and like uh bringing all of the audience together on
discord i think that's kind of a bullish move
i think that makes a lot of sense because again
there's a standard in the space where kind of like coins uh
you know relegated telegram and like nft projects are relegated to discord
but this being you know both kind of things in one go
you kind of have to bring that core audience together so i think that makes a
lot of sense to kind of pull everybody into one place
so they can all come have a conversation and chat with you guys about
like what's happening going forward um no i think this is a good good kind of
space to kind of touch ground with you guys and
and get your thoughts and kind of like hear the perspectives of like
where your head's at with this this stuff going forward
um you know i like to keep these things to kind of like a tight 60 minutes
because it's really hard to pay attention to to this stuff for like
you know two hours of kind of like people going back and forth and saying
the same kind of things um if there are any questions about like
what uh the project is doing in the future i'd say probably
just go into discord and ask the question there i'm sure we'll do some
more spaces in the future and uh like ask the team like what's
going on what's coming up what kind of alpha we can get it i love to hear alpha
obviously that's my personal bias i want to find out specifically what's
going on uh but like i understand like if you guys
you know you've got so many things up your sleeves that are coming out and
rolling out that you want to kind of deliver that in an
in a very managed way so i won't poke the bear too much with that kind of
conversation at the moment and it is for me as well i mean that's
that's fucking hilarious actually i mean we i did want to open it up to
questions um we haven't really seen any on discord
unless people start writing in caps right now and ask specific questions
um also if anybody wants to come up um and ask a question like we're open to
that so i know we're on the hour i i just
don't want people to listen to me talking for fucking ever because
shit i hate hearing myself talk sometimes you know it's just stupid but
yeah if anybody has any questions you'd like
you know ask them we've got we've got some requests i can i mean i'll bring
them up i don't know what they're going to ask but i can bring them up on stage
and we can see how it goes um let me just take this thing here
okay uh two are connecting right now uh let's see how this goes
so color protocol i think you were first up
uh you're still connecting so let's go to
makarios like uh what's going on what's your question for the team today
hello hello hello question question question mark okay you're down
okay color color protocol uh gm what's the question that you've got for the team today
hello can you hear me i can i can gm how are you uh do you
have a question for the team today on stage
hello yes we can hear you yep what's the question
do you have a question can you hear us can you hear us hello hello hello
you know you gotta love twitter nothing works ever
i wonder if far caster can have a proper spaces kind of thing one day but even then
that'll probably be plagued with this bullshit too you know yeah okay so like i've got one more
request uh okay let me just pull this person off and then we'll work from there but like uh
if you can't hear i'll bring up color protocol again um but again twitter is always rugged with
this kind of stuff uh t yeah hello can y'all hear me what's going on sir do you have a question for
the team today yeah what's up uh shout out to everybody doing all the hard work shout out to
cfw shout out to the whole team uh respects to all y'all um i just have a question about the
incentives uh what future incentives do you guys have are y'all gonna do like airdrops with other
like with future projects or what does like the future hold for the whole um plp team so that's
just yeah i'll take that one um it's a really easy answer uh how how long ago did you tune into this
just out of curiosity have you have you been here for more than like 10 minutes uh maybe like
five minutes ago okay you missed the whole thing got it all right cool so we have a history of
doing this um if you go on our discord and ask the community this exact question i guarantee you
you will have 20 people jumping down your throat about where have you been it's been a lot of
incentives along the way uh the primary one being people love the art we are here for the art but
also like uh cfw and i are awful capitalists and we keep giving away free shit um we're trying to
get out of the habit of doing that uh but holders are always rewarded that is our priority our
priority is our community um we're not shit coiners we shit coin in our free time but that
is not what this is if you want to buy into a project and support it um this is the kind of
thing for you especially if you want to connect with the community and get down with the vibe
like we we party hard man and like we have a lot of fun um the you got to have a bit of thick skin
which sounds like you do uh to hang out in the discord sometimes because people are sarcastic
as fuck um but in the long term we just keep building man that's all we do so if you want
to have access to cool stuff that tends to come with what we do we just don't promise anything up
front okay cool uh respects to you uh another thing um i tried joining the discord um and it
was giving me a little bit issue i'm sure it's giving a couple other people issues um it wanted
me to verify something by like a transaction i did that and i still wasn't um able to join i don't
know if you guys can maybe change the verification to make it a little bit more simpler for more
people to be able to join um but that's just the only question i have yeah yeah i hear you bet like
it's uh we we've had to update a few things we were also token gating uh we we also like did not
open it up to the public because we're sick and tired of raids from bots um our setup is pretty
secure and does a good job but we're still kind of in growing pains right now reassessing how we're
doing verification and how we're letting folks in uh we are going to put out a tweet pretty soon
with the official link one of the issues we've been running into is that there's a lot of fake
discords popping up classic grifter bullshit um some some guy was impersonating me saying uh yeah
did you lose your mind when you were trying to say did you lose your money or whatever so it's
kind of hilarious but it's also like kind of stressful so we're just trying to do we're trying
to open the gates proper and get it right um so just sit tight with us if you're having verification
issues on the way in um but yeah we're gonna put out a tweet that clarifies that and we're
gonna reassess how the bots are working and verification works as well i just want to make
sure that uh you don't you know you don't join the wrong server or it's pretty clear when you
get there that things are legit you know what i mean okay thank you man thank you cool uh thanks
for the question as well i think it's cool to hear you guys come up on stage and ask this kind of
stuff um i want to throw it to north uh for the next question and then we'll go to pumper pumper
bunny but no what's what's going on yo what up what up uh no questions man i'm just uh
on stage here to give some of my boys their flowers uh cfw orb it's been a long time coming
fellas and uh i'm here for brother i'm just excited for your entire community um we rock
together we've been rocking together and we're going to continue rocking together so uh major
props to everything you guys are building um matt bullish on it and just uh excited to see what
the future brings but much love love you guys and uh i'll step down so that uh the rest can
hop up and and give you guys their questions yo we love you man mad respect uh you've been you've
been with us from the get and supporting everything and advising us and so many things
and it's really good to hear your voice uh we're overdue for a call man um you know talk to you
soon brothers thank you yep for sure man let's uh let's lock in soon and uh like i said love you
guys man congrats awesome uh thanks for that notes i mean you've been in this space for a long time
so like it's it's cool to hear like your endorsement of this project and the team uh you're also
someone that people should follow so give north to follow he's a cool guy and he's been building
some cool shit in the space for a long time uh pumper bunny what is going on uh what is your
question sir or madam might i'm not sure but what's your question hey what's up everyone um
i feel like shit but i think i couldn't miss the opportunity to help off and uh you know i don't
have a question but i just wanted to kind of do the same thing as not and congratulate the team
been um following you guys for a minute now um and just seeing the progress that you guys have made
and the amount of art that you put out is insane the quality is insane like everything so kudos to
you guys for sure i i guess the only question is when mid dev upgrade what up pumps um i will
consider upgrading from mid to some other state at a future point in time um dude i hope to see
you in new york again soon man it's been a while yeah i love you guys awesome thanks for the
question i appreciate you coming up and putting in your kind of two cents uh z d z m z modem nine
six nine six zero zero what the fuck uh what's going on sir like uh what's your question it's
my my name is is a filter to see how old school people are uh i just wanted to send flowers to
everyone on this team they're really some of the nicest people that i've ever encountered um
and i i'm kind of a donk i haven't been in in the community that much lately but i want to know
like where do i start where can i get some i just want to support you guys and what's the best way
for a modest um supporter to sort of like jump in and grab something i don't know thanks
uh first of all hi um and you're gonna make my age show man i remember when i had a 9600 quad modem
um do you remember when they went from they upgraded from z to y modem you could like
chats to the opera while you were downloading wares i mean those were the days asking crazy
uh 9600 baud i think that would have taken me what is like four hours to download two megs
six hours to get doom to something like that anyway okay enough nerdy shit um to answer your
question i think the best point of entry is what do you like uh you know the floor is really low
on pill that's generative right now uh always a good place to try i have to i have some pill
heads and stuff um this is this is genius for hire i just changed my handle just so you know
who i am um but um yeah no i i have some pill heads but i'm just an idiot i just haven't been
i've been you know absorbed with real life and i just saw i wanted to come and support you guys
so i don't really have an agenda i just want to give you some stuff well uh thanks i also
i knew it was you but i was just kind of stuck on the the modem jokes um so i don't know i mean
like you're already i think the question more universally or broadly answered is just uh
current the current meta i guess is pallet um so you can go by a pallet or either by the nft itself
on secondary um the links are on the website pallet.house it's linked in the bio of the main
account um and the links there are legit or you can come to discord click on the official links
there there's links for uniswap if you want to buy the plt directly um or you can just go to
openc and shop around for something that you like that's already been revealed cool thank you
yeah and also you can buy my bags uh just send me a dm i'm just joking there's no bags in this
project that this is this is uh something to be part of guys like i think that the bullish point
to note on this is like again we talked about it before i questioned yellow on this as well it's
like the the ability to participate you know 404 is not relegated to people who own one full token
it's relegated to not relegated it's open to anybody who has access to any amount of capital
you can spend one dollar on pallet and own a fractional share of pallet and be part of the
project or you can own a full pallet right that's the flexibility of kind of this contract
it's not a standard but this this contract so yeah there is no kind of like right or wrong way to be
able to participate in this kind of stuff so i'm super bullish and kind of like that
thesis going forward for these kind of things um but color protocol you can't so you want to
add to that oh no no go ahead do we have we have a question on discord but i'll get around to it
after color protocol okay cool and color protocol you came up before can you hear us now um what's
going on color protocol very bearish we're getting more bearish by the second hello hello
yeah spaces is just not great for everyone i you know i now every time i get on spaces i reboot my
phone before i do it so i could just start the app fresh it's just it's such a pain in the butt
well okay so maybe while they figure out if they can yeah hello hello yeah spaces is just
not great for everyone you know sorry we can now every time i get on spaces i reboot my
phone before i do it it's like just hilarious it's just such a pain in the butt well hello
sorry you're giving feedback of what happened one minute ago can you hear me
yeah if you could mute them or something because it sucks but they're lagged and everything it's
not going to work so let's get let's get to the question on discord and then let's wrap
the space i think that's probably the best way to do this so you do have that question
yes sir uh so there's a couple of questions and i'll answer the first one this person
r a sushi is asking please explain more about what is meant by incubator um so an incubator
is basically in the tech world at least or most product development teams something where ideas
come and they are grown with a team um like a baby in a container and then when the baby comes
to life finally it is shipped in the way we would like for it to be shipped uh we basically like to
take ideas and expand on them um so it's a it's a bit of an arrogant thing to say that we're going
to run an incubator and i realize that because we're basically saying come to us with your ideas
and we'll advise you on it or help you build it or help it come to life right um but you know it's
not just cfw and i like we have a really awesome team of people from devs to artists to market
movers stuff like that and the idea is that we work together based on our personal experience
both in the real world and on web 3 where we can actually make your idea come to come to life um
now you know again we're not financial advisors this is an incubator is about making cool ideas
come to life that's all it is we don't guarantee anything um but what we want to do is work with
artists that's like our our end goal we just want to make cool stuff happen um he did ask another
question uh that is really stressful when it's in capital letters so i did this i asked them to
write in capital letters please explain cfw comments yesterday on how the funds will be used
for plt and other projects what was meant by other projects well the answer is very simple
if you stick around you'll see if you look at our history you'll see there are multiple projects
there are more than one project uh many projects and in fact we have more projects coming like i
have repeatedly said so uh you know have some faith uh if you have some conviction in us as
a team you'll see that there are many other cool things continuing to happen stick around
cool yeah i think that'd be cool to expand on in a future space about like what kind of like
you guys see is the vision of the project going forward and more specifically around that i won't
poke into that now we can talk about that in the future but like probably uh i think we don't have
any more questions and we've gone over the hour uh so maybe we might wrap it here but like i really
want to say like thank you all for coming along to this space thanks for the team becoming along
and answering these questions uh we'll try i mean i'm going to poke at you guys to try and do more
of this stuff in the future i because i love your insights and i love to hear what's going on
uh i'm going to poke for alpha i'm going to try and crowbar that alpha out of you because i want
to know how to i'm going to pump my own bags but i understand that that's not necessarily uh
what we can talk about today and i really appreciate you guys coming up and being
so candid about like your answers and like where you see the vision for the project going forward
um i want to thank uh cfw and orb like really great vision here guys like super super bullish
on you guys to have built this project out um and kind of like stuck around in the space for so long
and then you know to have this kind of like moment of success like i mean you guys are really
glad to see you guys have a big win uh yellow i've known you for a long while in the space like
always bullish on whatever you're involved in so like that just gave me like a huge road of
confidence uh i want i want to tell everybody in the audience like do follow yellow do follow cfw
do follow orb like these are some amazing guys in the ecosystem that you should be paying attention
to uh if this doesn't prove it like what what they're going to build in the future is going to
be proving that even more so do give them a follow give palette a follow as well obviously
you're probably part of the project already and probably following that account do that
and follow me let me leverage some followers out of this uh it's 4 17 a.m here in australia i'm
sitting around in the dark uh talking on twitter spaces i need to eat too i need some followers
let me get a follower farm going on so i appreciate that as well uh but no thank you all for coming
thank you all for giving up your time today uh or tonight or whatever time it is for you in the world
uh would love to do some more of these spaces going forward appreciate all of you um i think
things are looking really bullish for this project going forward uh i'm proud to be part of this in
whatever capacity i can but like yeah we'd love to see you guys back for the next space and i hope
everybody's having a good time but um i can't end the space because i'm not the host so it's up to
to do so i'm just waxing lyrical here at the end but like thanks all for attending today and uh
let's talk again in the future and any more questions or anything you've got to say
head to the discord and get involved in the project there and uh yeah let's take this
project forward for the 2024 and like let's get involved and let's see art be kind of a new
metanarrative of the space going forward this year uh thanks all that's all i've got to say
bye yeah thanks for co-hosting um again like if you guys have any questions or anything like
said join discord uh just ignore telegram i'm gonna take that link down off the site like today
uh just come join us um and again if you're having problems joining we are working on it
um yeah thanks and thanks to everybody that supported us this far uh see you uh see you very soon
