Hey everyone, we'll just give everybody a few minutes to join and then we'll kick it off.
So before we get started, Thomas, Mick, how are you? Doing good, doing good, just over here plugging away, met the office for a little bit for that. Just crashing just another beautiful day in Los Angeles. How's everyone doing?
I'm also very good, really thrilled to be here today. And yeah, it's just a really cold day in Montreal, but everything's going pretty well. Thank you. How about yourself, Tenth?
Yeah, I'm good. It's a rainy day in England. No surprise there. I'm off paternity, though. Now if there is such a thing, there's been off paternity leave. So just getting back into the Swinger things, built some momentum again.
get back in the saddle, you know, that kind of stuff. It's a month is a long time in crypto when you're, say, part time. A lot happens, you get behind on stuff quickly, so I've got my work out this week.
Yeah, I feel that man just getting back on the saddle sometimes is is pretty tough. I mean when you have a longer stay and you just everything backed up on everything then you're ready to go but it's always good feeling you know.
Yeah, sure. Yeah, it's it.
bit of sanity after the chaos. If anybody's had children, they'll know exactly what I mean. I saw a reply you once made very recently about how you treat your weekends just like everybody else, sort of like a break.
That's a must be good at sometimes people have the idea that you're like working constantly and stuff but a break is really necessary at times especially in the space. Yeah, yeah for sure. Yeah, you can get too far down the rabbit hole. I mean, you know, it's a break as much as
I'm not in the office and I'm not coding or doing research and stuff but the brain never shuts off right so I've become very skillful thinking about crypto stuff and the real boss has no idea because I'm still in the room it's been it's taken a few years to craft that.
So I can be off in crypto land and then she asked me a question and I've heard it at the same time. It's multitasking. Maybe I'm the only male in the planet that can do this, I don't know. You'll be hard pressed to find. I mean, those ladies are looking for men that can do it. It's always a good thing when the real boss is had.
Yeah, well, you know, has this a happy wife happy life apparently and I'm not trying to I don't think I'm quite there yet, but I'm working on it and working on it Anyway, let's get this off So welcome everybody to hopefully the first of many
and pitch your Radix projects. So the motivation behind this is, some of you may have seen me in a kind of shark tank style spaces over the past few weeks and it works really well for projects to pitch.
So I thought, hey, why not do this for Radix projects? So if you were a project in the Radix ecosystem that's not part of the grants program, then this is an opportunity for you to get a bit more exposure. You can pitch the project.
to me and my co-hosts. The format is you get about two minutes to do your pitch so keep it sharp, concise to the point, convinces what your project is, why we should be interested in it etc etc.
And then we'll have five or six minutes of Q and A after. People in the audience, if you have any questions, then please raise your hand and we'll try and get your proof. Time is available for you to come up and ask your questions. From my point of view, this isn't an
endorsement and anything like that for any projects. I just think it's a cool way the projects can kind of showcase and pitch what it is they're working on. And if you do a good job then hope for the other pickups and followers, some listeners may follow you, they may decide to participate in your projects or whatever.
So this is an endorsement, this is just a way for you guys to use me to maybe get a little bit more visibility. Any thoughts? Thomas, Smith? I think that's a great way, honestly, to hear about some of the other
