This is a ballad song
is what I'm going to
hear of the gig.
This is a volt for a girl
and the kid.
Let's grow.
It's about to grow down.
To plant the trees and grow.
Two or three and grow.
Besides the change,
don't happen to itself.
It's wrong.
What you know about building and things?
losers on board in the way.
One at the station and that's a continue
with 10 attestations like that's in the bay.
Shout to the Beatles I never gave up.
I said Jimmy and the team will never run.
Let me give it up.
The outcome of the naked year we go.
You gonna give it a huge low.
We got a big jails really on chain geeks.
You'll find no tricks and I put a course.
Do you like the source?
Do you contribute like to you a part of the course?
So no, we can take a break now.
This is our time.
The precautioning, do it right now.
As opposed to Haiti and the back talk, let's collaborate and find out now.
Because the future is bright and green, we make it more green.
I'll plant more trees.
In 17 seconds, I grew this, tell me what you're excuse it.
Let grow, build on chain and grow, with innocence grow.
Build the people like you land and trees and grow.
Two of three and grow.
Make you impact known.
Societies of change don't happen by itself is wrong.
You guys know societal change doesn't happen in a day?
This is grown, baby, and we grow in it.
We grow in all kinds of impact.
We got so much impact alpha for you today.
But we're going to need you to utilize your abilities to grow the public goods
Movement, baby. In that bottom right hand chat, you see the little purple icon right there.
Shout out to Liana. Everyone do like Rihanna. Okay, she did the hashtag, let's grow.
Shout out to Ayahuaca Uganda, all right? They did the hashtag, let's grow.
Everybody else, we're going to need to see some hashtags.
We need to see some comments.
If you want this Impact Alpha, you got to let the people know, okay?
Drop it in the group chats and let's get this show on the road.
Okay, amazing.
So, we got a lot in store for you today.
First and foremost, right now, y'all should be thinking about your Gitcoin grant applications.
All right, Gitcoin grants, they are giving out not one, not 1.1, not 1.2, but 1.3 million dollars for public goods.
And you can be applying right now to get your thing funded.
All right?
If you are building in Web3 infrastructure,
if you are building in dev tooling,
if you're building some DAPs and apps,
if you're more of a mature builder,
if you're part of the communities,
specifically neighborhood software, hyper-searchs,
for nature stewards.
If you're in Rifi, Mediterranean,
if you're Gitcoin grants,
a decentralized science builder, all right?
If you're a Web 3 for universities contributor,
if you are a part of Gitcoin Grant's Garden,
if you are in Rigen, Rio de Janeiro,
you can be regenerating in Rio.
If you are part of the regeneration movement,
then you should be thinking about
Regen Coordination.
The Regen Coordination Global GG23 round funds proven regenerative finance networks
that contribute meaningfully to ecosystems.
Building on GGG21, this initiative unites refi Dow, Greenpill Network, and partners
to support global communities using Web3 for real world, impact, and local needs.
Also, Good Dollar is doing their kickoff round, their inaugural round.
All right. Good dollars doing some good things. Public goods are good. I don't know if you heard that. But they also got retro funding happening from token engineering comments. If you've been supporting token engineering education, if you're growing the token engineering things, then you should definitely be applying for that as well.
But all these things are on grants.gitcoin.co.
Okay, louder for the people in the back, it is grants.gitcoin.co.
Don't be like Jimmy and leave your application until the last second.
All right. You need to be doing this early.
So, you know,
Okay, let me give you some alpha on how to write these grants just real quick, okay?
Formatting on GitHub is not super obvious.
Like if you want images or gifts or headings or bold things like that, right?
You should go to HackMD.
dot i.o that's hackmd dot io okay and the way that you do this is basically it makes it easy like
it's a split screen you can just upload image you can just hit bold you can format it really easily
like you would in like a google doc or something right but on the right side is the fancy codes and
letters and stars and you know things that uh basically you would just then copy pasta into
builder dot gitcoin dot grants
All right.
Sorry, builder.gitcoin.co.co.
Builder.org.com.
That is how to launch your actual grant itself.
But don't be fooled and think you've done it.
Some people, they build their grant.
It says congratulations or done.
That's not done. You then have to go to grants.com.co and you apply to the specific round and answer their specific questions, but then you link to your grant, which you built on chain.
Number one, step one, design grant, hack MD, that's the alpha.
Step 2, builder.gitcoin.co.
Step 3, grants.gitcoin.co.
Shout out to Let's Grow Dow, who's an official partner of Gitcoin for doing onboarding and education.
So if you have any questions whatsoever, just jump on in to the DMs of Let's Grow or our telegram or even in the Gitcoin telegram.
There is actually, I think it's 8 to 12 hours a day.
They're answering questions.
And, yeah, I think it's definitely more than eight hours.
So all the time, if you have questions on how to do this correctly, just ask.
Don't be shy.
And they'll be there to help you along the way.
All right.
We got the amazing wasabi and Jerry and a bunch of amazing people.
Kingfisher's Media, of course.
Will T, who is doing a lot of the educational work around that.
E&S is happening right now.
It's too late to apply, but I have heard through the grapevine for Giveth that the next round is not too far,
potentially actually in April.
And so they have what's called a givers NFT.
Okay, they got their own NFT.
It's 100 Buccuruchis in Dye.
And the utility of this NFT is you actually get to nominate one grants to be in the round.
So you can actually get a project into the quadratic funding round, plus they have give-backs,
they reward donors, and they match the donations to make you more impact on give-eth.
Alpha is that's happening later in April, and you're going to need a giver's NFT.
So if you know someone who's got a few, great.
I made the mistake of thinking you could nominate five projects.
Don't be like me.
It's one per NFT, but the maximum that one individual can nominate is five.
So I guess don't buy more than five is the thing there.
So there you grow.
All right.
There you grow.
So other fundraising opportunities you might want to be on the lookout for.
I mean, there's Websterior Foundation grants program.
I'm going to link to these in the comments.
Optimism is on a rolling basis.
A bunch of other ecosystems, you know?
I mean, we are Ethereum aligned here at public nouns, but...
You know, B&B, Solana, all these guys, there are technically running grants.
Avalanche, at least that's EVM compatible.
SELO, there's a SELO community fund, which is cool.
You might want to check that out.
Let me post this up.
ZK Cash, Lido ecosystem, Filecoin, got 50,000 grant.
Polygon has got a pretty big grant program happening, so you might want to check out
Polygon. All right. Now we're going to be sharing some, oh, welcome Lumina. Let me, let me grow host you if you want to grow hosts. Good to have two grow hosts up here.
So, you know, all right. Okay, while we're on the topic of Gitcoin, actually, before we move to the next topic, you know, launching a grant is one thing, right?
you then have to get grownations, right?
Like you can't just launch it and be like Dundies, okay?
We Gucci, nothing more to do there.
No, you actually have to hustle for two weeks and get those grownations, okay?
Now, I is Jimmy.
I'm behind public nouns, but I am Jimmy.
All right.
Now, I am the co-founder of Tree Gents.
which was voted first place three times on on gitcoins so i do know a little bit about
about uh you know spreading awareness and getting contributions of course you have to have an
amazing grant page you have to design it well you have to have a great idea and a great startup but then
you also have to make a lot of noise and you got to shine light on what you're doing you know if
you're not marketing it's like doing business in the dark pretty difficult right you got to shine the light so
So a couple things that I would recommend.
First and foremost, let's grow Dow.
You see that vortex in the audience, the listeners,
that Let's Grow Dow vortex.
Each of those dots, imagine one of those as a public goods builder
or startup, a Dow, and the vortex is everyone coming together
to share, to cross-pollinate, to support, to amplify,
one another, right? Because, look, a lot of us who are into public goods and regeneration in Web 3, it's a niche within a niche.
within a niche, and maybe you're an amazing developer or builder or community builder,
or you have a great solution, but you haven't been putting a lot of time or focus into building
a massive audience.
So when you post it reaches 1,000 or 10,000 people, right?
And so what we've done, and we've done this for six Gitcoin grant rounds so far.
It's something called Let's Grow Live.
Okay, you already know Let's Grow Live, but some of you are newbies and you don't know what I'm talking about.
So let me just quickly share what is happening and how this is continuously evolving.
Every round this evolves and we run some experience, we try some new things.
But basically, let me give the rundown of what this is.
We grow live for 24 hours soon.
for two weeks straight, practically non-stop on spaces, first and foremost, okay?
And then we amplify that on video.
So we also do video live streams.
You know, we're going to bring a bunch of special guests.
Grawakie has been coming through pretty much every time.
Griff has been coming through, Gregory Londew, some legends in the space.
They come through, right?
They come through for the community.
And we all share the Let's Grow
live and we give a platform for anyone to come and share their passion, share their stories,
and frankly build connections. I know there are a lot of people who are looking to find a
co-founder or they're looking to find a developer or they're looking to find a designer or
they're looking for a way to navigate a specific challenge and that's what this is the perfect
container.
for y'all to do because we're all coming together,
we're all sharing our audiences,
we're all sharing resources,
we're all sharing alpha,
we're all connecting and just like coming with this,
this, you know,
this mindset of how can we support one another to maximize our collective impact, right?
And so that's what Let's Grow Live is about.
Shout out the Wasabian audience.
He runs a lot of what we're doing on the tech side.
It's a lot to do video and audio and we're doing the special guest.
Now, what's going to be different this time is we're going, we are growing.
We've got a whole grow vocabulary.
We're growing to branch out.
from exclusively Gitcoin grantees.
It will be mostly Gitcoin grantees who are hosting these spaces, right?
We all take shifts and we host, you know, different hour slots.
But we're also going to be branching out to other aligned and experienced spaces hosts, right?
So for example, Tricky, he's a community member who typically comes through our spaces,
but he's never hosted yet.
But he's a very talented spaces host, and he has a great audience of people who, they
They vibe with what we do.
They're good people, right?
Matthew's always been coming through for a while now.
I mean, he's never been a grantee.
Actually, he was nominated as a regent, you know, citizen last round, which was really cool, the regent citizen round.
Rest in peace, Izzy, who started that.
And, but, but we're branching out.
We also gonna have, you know, geysers, geysers in crypto.
They've done like, I think, 600 episodes of spaces so far.
And they're just great vibe people.
They're super supportive and they got the whole social bees community.
And they're coming through and they're gonna be hosting.
And they're gonna be bringing that community through, right?
And so it's gonna be very much getting out of our echo chambers, right?
We have this core, you know, fertile ground.
of what is our culture, what is our vibe, you know, what we're doing here with public goods,
but now we can additionally invite in new communities to experience what this is like
and to bring their communities as well so we can all, you know, branch out and grow, right?
So, so, so that's, that's what's, that's what LGL is doing for GG23.
Stay tuned for how you can apply.
You can DM the Let's Grow Live page in the audience if you want to be a part of it.
But, you know, if you want to, yeah, like even if you don't have a Bitcoin grant, this is an amazing opportunity to build community.
It is really an accelerator in and of itself, right?
we will accelerate you.
And because you're going to get exposure,
we're going to take the audio from spaces,
we're going to put it on video,
and we're going to amplify going live
on a ton of different social media pages
at the same time
and really get you out of this little echo chamber
into a whole new audience of people
who potentially support you as customers,
as supporters, as people who vibe with what you're doing.
Okay. So stay tuned for that. But if you want to have the early dibs, just DM at Let's Grow, Dow. He's in the audience right there, the swivel. In the end, we are so much more capable when you reunite and join hands. And we, you know, there's an old expression. It's an African proverb. If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together, right?
And I would tweak that a little bit and say grow together, right?
Because we really do have a long way to grow here, right?
We've got a long way to grow.
A lot of you all are trying to free all of the elephants.
A lot of you all are trying to solve climate change.
A lot of you are trying to solve the experience issues of working in Web 3
and how non-user-friendly it can be at times and all these different things.
Like, you're solving huge problems.
You have to grow far.
You cannot grow a little bit and fast.
This is a long game that we're all playing here.
We're playing infinite games, right?
We're always trying to build up ourselves to grow and grow and grow every day.
And ultimately, we have to grow really far.
And that is why we need to grow together.
And let's grow down is the perfect, you know, unifier of all of those.
So that's the amplification opportunity that I wanted to share with y'all in this space is wasabi, my guy.
High five.
How you doing?
So one question.
When are applications to be host open?
Like when are the ones that are going to be open?
It's a good question, broskey.
Where's, uh, we're just waiting on a little palm?
I mean, I can make, I can make a Google phone.
I mean, we'll make the Google Doc.
Or, but, but listen, I shared the farm last night before I went to school.
Oh, oh snap, my guy.
Okay, so shout out to Wasabi.
He's got, my bad.
Okay, I didn't mean to make a new suggestion.
I just discovered these app, uh, automations on Google Sheets, how you can automate stuff.
But if you did that, that's amazing.
I think you heard it here first, fam.
Is it, let's grow, what's the, what's the URL?
The sexy, beautiful URL?
It isn't, it's in the homepage of Let's Grow website, but it's slash form.
Like, it's the same.
Let's grow.network slash form.
You heard it here first.
Let's grow.
That network slash form.
Okay, boom, it's in the comments.
It is in the comments.
And now it's in our beautiful garden.
It has been planted.
Oh, wow, look at these comments.
LFG, let's forever grow.
Okay, great.
Everyone who puts hashtag, let's grow in the comments
is getting a retweet boost from penowns,
from Jimmy, from all the things.
Yeah, 1.3 million, Lisa.
That's right.
You heard it right.
Let's grow.
It's a lot.
It's a lot.
And, you know, if you're doing open source,
Actually, Wasabi, you're in the grants council.
Maybe you'd be a great person to speak about this.
What is Gitcoin doing differently now in terms of not just the regular, degular
And how will this impact the grantees?
I will say that this round is the most early builders centric round so far in Gekcoin
because of the retro funding and the segregation between mature builders and early builders.
So now you don't need to compete with, let's say, give it.
You don't need to compete with all of those huge communities in the QF rounds.
So they are now aggregated into retro funding,
tailor made for material builders.
So yeah, now is the most fair distribution so far
of quadratic funding, in my opinion, you know,
because like, you know, it's not fair to having to compete
with those communities that has thousands of users or thousands of supporters.
You know, so yeah.
Yeah, that's a game changer for OSS. It really is.
So they have a $600,000 retro round where they put the big boys in, right?
Those big, you know, established with thousands of user grantees who typically dominate QF
because just if you're kind of learning more a bit about quadratic funding, the way that it works,
You can go to WTFSQF.com if you want to see the exact formula, but essentially the formula, which is co-written by Vitalik Buter, and heavily weighs the number of contributors over the amounts they contribute.
The amount that contribute is also a variable, but it's not nearly as impactful as the number of contributors.
And so if you have a thousand donors giving a dollar, it's a lot more impactful in terms of how much matching that results in compared with one person giving $1,000, right?
So the matching really does depend on the number of contributors.
So that's why it's important to be posting consistently.
I gave some alpha on Let's Grow live.
And that's remember, let's grow.network.
slash form, or if you just go to let's go.
Dot network, you can easily just click the button right there.
Um, on our page.
Uh, oh, and if you, if you know, so if you want to host, great, be a regular host.
If you want to be a special guest, right?
Zen Digen, welcome, my friend.
We're going to have the geysers regularly hosting on Let's Grow live this time,
which I think is going to be a real great vibe.
And I would love it if you would come through as well for some wellness Wednesdays,
you know, share some wellness vibes.
We're going to be live 24-7, and that's a great thing.
You also, you know, you do want to attend the Gitcoin spaces
to make sure you got that calendar mapped out.
You set some alarms there.
You're going to want to be...
posting consistently, put the link in your bio, okay?
Link in bio.
And if you navigate to become a professional page,
just in the settings of your page,
You can actually click Professional and then in the location section, some alpha, you can actually
put a second link right there.
So if you go to the TreeGens page or Jimmy page, you'll see we got this location and there's
another link you can put right there.
So that's some alpha for you.
You can have two links.
Bing, boom.
And that's actually pretty prominent because, you know, when you post links, right, X doesn't
really like that too much.
They don't want people leaving the platform.
Obviously you want to get people to your grant page.
But you want to only post links sometimes,
or maybe you want to post a thread and then wait a little bit
and then add a post with the link at the end
so it doesn't limit your reach.
But, you know,
having it in your bio is an easy way because people are going to see your page and then they can click right there.
So that's an alpha for you in terms of promoting there.
Another thing is people typically post, hey, I just donated to Gitcoin because they're prompted to do that, right?
So what you can do if you want to reach some new people to share your grant page is you can just type, I just donated to at Gitcoin.
And then what you can, and then you'll see all the people who just literally donated and they're sharing that on X.
and you can comment right there, right?
You can comment and you can post your link and say,
hey, check on mine too.
If you like this, this and this, you might want to do it on here.
But don't copy pasta the exact same message
because then it's going to see, like, show a spam or whatever, right?
You've got to be very careful with that,
not to just copy pasta too much, but feel free to grow for it.
Lumina and Vision, my trusted grow hosts.
Great to have you, my friend.
High five, what's growing on?
Ah, Jimmy, hello, I know anybody.
I went at the last year.
We already have the schedule for the host club, and not yet.
I want to host a time.
I'm in the better rehearsal.
Lumen is going to host a...
grow live. I love it. Illumina, you're a whole other vibe. And no, we actually just seconds ago,
maybe minutes, but very recently announced the link and the application. It was announced
for the first time live here on the spaces. I just put it up in the garden. So you apply.
Oh, there's good. Yeah. Please in the forum, add all the possible times that you can host.
I believe there's a form to say, okay, this is my preferred time,
but this is all the times that I can possibly host in a day,
same time every day for an hour.
That's the, and we might, we might, we might,
we'll likely have 30 minutes slots and you can, you know,
you can be there as much as you want really, right?
But there's the responsibility.
We have people sign up for an hour,
and then we'll narrow it down to 30 minutes slots where we can, right?
But the point is that like,
We got to fill 24 hours for two weeks, and so it's important that people put all times they possibly can,
just so that we can try to make that happen.
So yeah, please grow ahead, apply, apply, and we will email you and let you know the slot
and the whole sketch as soon as that is finalized, which will not be day of the Gitcoin grants this time.
I promise, it's going to be...
at least a day before, or hopefully two or three,
because, yeah, it can be intense.
What's up, elabs?
Since it is your first time looking at the form,
you probably are not aware,
because I can tell you didn't saw my video,
that I did a video recording of the improvements in the form.
So now there is like a button that it says next.
So the form is a two-step form now.
So first, you provide the information to host.
And then in the second step, if you want to become a steward,
you can also provide the times or the days that you want to see where the space.
You can signal your interest becoming a steward for less girl life.
So yeah, that's the improvement over last season.
Awesome. Yeah, okay, that's great. Thank you for doing that withabi. So stewarding, for those of you know, it is not the same as hosting. The basically responsibility of a host is to maintain conversation, ask people questions, facilitate combos.
boot the trolls if they come, whereas Stewart is a longer responsibility.
It's two to four hours a day depending, but all you have to do is literally just open the
space and leave it open, right?
You might have to click, send co-hosts, but it's hands-free, like you literally do whatever
Someone just got to keep the spaces open, so you actually sign into the official Let's
Grow account.
And by the way, we will be giving our stewards and our hosts grow tokens, which is a reputational token,
you know, which you can, you know, use when you apply for future things and say, hey, I have this on-chain reputation.
I supported the public its ecosystem by, you know, holding down this 24-7, you know, community initiative.
Now, we're going to experiment with multiple things.
Not only we branching out to other human hosts.
But we will also be inviting up AI speakers.
So imagine if you could shill your grant to Vitalik Buterin or Leonardo da Vinci or, you know, enter, enter whoever, right?
We will train these AIs and we're partnering, you know, with a bunch of different groups to do this, right?
Like, yeah.
We're going to try to integrate from Infinite Regen, the project of Milwaukee, Grohaki,
who has some really well-trained AIs, and they're going to be able to come up and speak
and maybe they'll grill you or answer your questions of how you can improve, which is pretty cool.
Like, we will have some awesome, like, actual cool people come through with special guests, like, as humans.
But like whenever you want to just like get Vitalik's two cents on your startup, this may become possible this round.
Who knows?
It's an experiment that we are definitely trying and it will be an interesting experiment for show.
Anahele Chukwu.
I just followed you back, my friend.
Welcome to Public Good Saturday.
How you doing?
Yeah, I'm doing great.
Thank you very much.
I love how you pronounce that name.
It was actually correct.
So that's my name to name from Yippo tribe in Nigeria.
Yeah, I'm super excited to be here and thank you so much.
I love the work you guys are doing.
We're following up for several years now, you know, you pushing the tree gens, planting trees
and we do a whole lot of work at environmental stability.
That's really amazing.
And yeah, shout out to Seville, Monke, Leo.
I've also been seeing you around and some of my...
What you guys are doing are really impactful. Thank you so much.
So I'm just joining in. I got to learn about public goods ending of last year.
And I didn't really put more interest until this year I got to learn more about it.
And then I came to realize that there's a whole lot of people or a whole lot of communities that are really doing great stuff that kind of deserves...
recognition because but they are barely seen.
And one of them is a community which I'm part of,
plug in Nigeria.
It's more like a group that picks plastic waste,
you know, within university communities.
And then I think I remember one time reaching out to plastics, which is a project on
SELO ecosystem.
I'm sorry I didn't mention earlier.
I also worked for Sela Africa Dow as a senior contributor.
So when I reached out to them, they were like, oh, they are currently live in US and they are
not really ready to get on in Africa, but when they do, they will definitely let me know.
So then I wanted to like link up blogging Nigeria with them.
But then coming to realize about public counts,
I think this would really be a great opportunity
to talk about that.
So coming to learn about public now,
even through John, who I met in real life
sometime two months ago, I guess.
We had a great discussion regarding that
and we've been talking.
And you know, he's really doing great.
Although he's been busy at this moment,
but then, you know, his impact is quite loud.
You know, and then I've also been seeing the work that my friend has been doing, Trinity at Carbon Copy,
that he's really also doing amazing.
I say that for public plug in Nigeria, we kind of put up three activities for an event we are planning towards May June.
So it's going to be engaging three activities.
The first one is a plug-a-ton.
It's a marathon combined with picking up plastic waste.
So we call plugging, picking up plastic waste.
So people come together, get...
get wastebacks to compete on who's going to pick up the most, the highest number of plastics, you know, from public.
And then the winners are going to be rewarded for, you know, participating in the Plogaturn Marathon.
And then the next one is a hackathon, which is going to involve people who are developers to build on projects related to environmental sustainability.
And then the final thing is more like a conference.
I actually put up a proposal on the public style firm,
so maybe if you want to get more details about that,
you can maybe you want to check it out.
Yeah, and then I think that's basically,
it's really appreciate you guys work.
Thank you so much.
Yeah, let's fucking grow.
Let's fucking grow.
Thank you for sharing, my man.
I love hearing not just proposals in written form,
but actually coming through and sharing more about it.
And yeah, I would love to learn more.
Thank you for coming up here.
But Lumina has had her hand up.
So, half-five.
What's growing on, Lumina?
Oh, I wanted to say hello to our friend from our blog in Nigeria, but I will not pronounce
you may correct.
But I'm familiar with Aunt Loggers from the time when we picked up to support the campaign
in the university.
And students were cleaning out and using our application.
And we added some rewards for them.
I think it was 120,000 used in law.
And thanks for freeing to actually for making this all happen.
And Atlantis App also was participating.
They were up now in the humanities over there.
And it was kind of cool collaboration between Deepenaf and Atlantis and Atlantic.
I want to do more.
So please keep us in touch.
If you have some similar campaigns in the future, we would like to do this again.
Did you say Green Pill Nigeria?
No, Alflogas, Nigeria.
Did I say that right?
The name of this initiative?
Well, yeah, Lumina and Vision.
Yeah, okay, great.
I know you're doing some really, really cool things with your
Ecosynthesis X and D cleanup startup.
I know you're very involved in both like the ReFi and, you know,
Green Pill networks.
And so it's amazing.
And I love that, you know, some collaboes are happening.
This is like really, you know, back to LGL super quick, right?
Let's go live.
It's also a really great collaboration facilitation, uh,
opportunity, right? Because we all come together with a similar kind of mindset or, you know,
vision or vibe or intention, right, to support public goods and solve some similar problems.
But we might have a different piece to the puzzle, right? A different piece to this big solution,
which could likely jive together, right? You know, like a lot of really cool collaborations have happened
thanks to LGL to create this fertile ground, it's kind of like a networking event in a sense, right?
Of course, people are promoting their grants.
It's kind of chill, chill, chill for the first few days.
But, you know, then after that, people really open up and tell stories and really start to think outside the box of how we can all support one another and collaborate and do the thing in a more impactful, meaningful, and fulfilling ways.
So I love it.
And, yeah, friends, if you know of a great spaces host...
that has been holding it down consistently or is this great on the mic i'm looking at you leanna i know
you're great vibes with civil uh when you guys do your thing that's always a really amazing vibe
that's definitely someone who i have in mind as well love to invite y'all but if anyone else comes to
mind please don't hesitate to let me know if you want to be a part of it apply if you know someone
recommend them and uh and let's get that growing okay so shout out to all the okay so uh
Zendijan said, you know I love me some 24-7 spaces.
I'll check my calendar, get the schedule, host, or steward.
Yo, Zendizan!
I love it.
Okay, so, by the way, I just retweeted, you know,
anyone who does hashtag let's grow or any Let's Grow in the comments is going to get a retweet from multiple pages.
So shout out to you.
Thank you for doing that.
And, yeah.
You know, I got to say the social bees community that Zen Dijan is a part of and the geysers are a part of and Will T, who's a grow founder of LGL, of Let's Go Dow rather.
The social bees inspired all of this.
Like, honestly, that's how I got into Web 3.
was 24-7 spaces of these amazing bees who were buzzing around 24-7 just like anytime whenever I had time in my funny time zone in East Africa like I could just jump in there and
And people were very welcoming and they would answer my questions and I would share my ideas and they would give me great feedback and connect me with people.
And there was even a member of social bees in Kenya who I met up with IRL.
And like it's just such a cool community because like you can get to know these people digitally.
And it's just a matter of time until you meet them in real life.
Like when I met Will T.
It felt like a family reunion.
When I met so many people that I met, you know, through these spaces, I
It feels like a family reunion.
I don't say that like it's an exaggeration.
I know a lot of people exaggerate when they say family,
but like if you spend two weeks straight with someone
and you hear all kinds of stories,
like you really get to know them, you know?
And we've done six of these so far.
So like, it's a really beautiful thing.
And those networks of people that you know you can rely on
when things inevitably get challenging,
And they're going to celebrate the wins with you,
and they're going to catch you when you're going through challenges
and offer support, even when we're not doing these 24-7 spaces.
So I think it's just such a beautiful thing to facilitate those connections.
And yeah, big shout out to Social Bees,
because I wouldn't be here without you guys.
And I'm super grateful that we can carry this tradition forward
and continuously iterate on it and try to see how many people we can possibly onboard.
because, yeah, we need to grow it.
Web 3 is still small, and public goods within that is still small,
and regent public goods of Web 3 within that is, you know, like, that's our mission, right?
Let's Grow Dow is to unite and grow the Regen movement.
because it really needs to grow, but we all have to unite.
Even if you don't consider yourself necessarily a re-gen today,
you can still be a part of it, and you can still be a supporter of it,
and it can support you in many different ways.
So that's a bit of...
A bit of alfalfa in terms of amplification.
And by the way, we do this public good Saturdays, you know, every Saturday with the intention of, you know, shining light on impact alpha.
So if anyone here has their own impact alpha, please don't hesitate to raise your hand.
Come up, share.
If you know of an opportunity to get funding, get exposure, whatever may be, come through and share that with us.
I would be remiss if I did not share.
the impact alpha that is public nouns, right?
So we are at Dow where 100% of what you spent
to mint our NFT goes to a treasury,
which you vote on to fund public goods.
100%. It is one of the more affordable nouns.
Like nouns Dow, the OG is, I believe tens of eph each.
Outers 0.33, which is relatively affordable,
and literally 100% of that goes towards making an impact.
And we're typically giving out five ETH grants.
It kind of ranges, sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more.
But it's typically around that range.
And if you got a public good, you can apply.
The process is that you do need three pen nouns to put it on chain.
First, you should get feedback.
You can get feedback here.
You can get feedback in our Discord.
I can link to the Discord if y'all want.
But get some feedback.
I recommend DMing.
All the penound holders, right?
Jimmy's one, wasabi's one.
I think civil's one.
A bunch of cool people in the space.
The legendary Griff of Gibbeth is a holder.
You know, Grohawki said he fucks with us.
He was going to fuck around and find out.
I don't know.
I think he's going to get one.
I think it's pretty soon until Grohawke gets one.
You know, there's a bunch of ledges in the space who have these,
and you can slide in their DMs and say, hey, this is my proposal?
You know, what do you think?
And they're probably going to give you feedback.
And then you put it on chain.
And then we vote.
And one NFT, one vote.
And that's how it be.
That's how it do.
So, you know, if you can invest 0.33 and get a 5-eath grant, great.
If you just want to make a massive impact, like,
It will go to a great cause.
Like, we have funded some incredible causes.
Shout out to Ioweka, Uganda.
We funded his regeneration.
Shout out to the tree gens.
It's kind of a shale, but, you know, we did a get us wall record for most trees planted in a day by one person, right?
That was me.
And it would not have been possible without public nouns.
And that's why I'm so grateful to host these spaces and to support this Dow because it changed my life.
And it's going to change so many people's life because that was a stepping stone towards breaking the next world record, which is most trees planted by any number of people, by the way.
616 million trees in a day is that record.
Ethiopia said it.
They keep breaking their own record every year.
We've now partnered with the Ethiopian government, so we're actually not stopping at that number.
We're trying to get a billion trees planted.
We've got six.
governments and soon to be an additional 12 Pacific Island countries joining this
grow elition and we're trying to get a billion trees planted on June 5th and um
And I'm in the DMs of Gary Vee and the V Friends community, which might support our grow elition.
I'm in the DMs of Beast Philanthropy, which might support the growlition.
And if it wasn't for public nouns and me getting this Guinness World Record with the credibility, none of that would have been possible, you guys.
It's because of that that led to this.
And so, you know, P. Nouns love funding scalable solutions to positive impact.
You know, if you're doing a public goods experiment and you're, you know, you can make an impact with the funds, great.
But what's the roadmap?
What are you going to do after that?
That's stuff that we'd love to support.
And so please do, you know, be a part of this community.
Get a noun if you can or connect with the noun holders and try to vibe with us, you know?
Earth, we funded Earth token, you know, that they're doing all kinds of,
you know, regenerative farming and solar,
rest sustainable energy, and they have a whole solar punk currency.
And that was actually our first impact investment,
because now we're getting yield from those impacts investments
into those regent solar punk investments.
And it's actually yielding like 20%, 25%,
and then native token of Earth.
So, yeah, it's a relatively stable token,
and that's another thing that we find.
There's so many things.
So if you just go to public nouns.wtf,
public nouns.wtf, you can see everything.
And if you go forward slash Dow after that URL,
public nouns of WTF slash Dow,
you can see all the proposals,
the ones that got approved, the ones that didn't.
And you can learn from those and maybe put your own on chain.
All right, go ahead, Lumina.
Yeah, you have a question about the announcement, but you told me
that it's better for our case to apply to
but the process is different
I have to get the feedback, see what I have to get feedback, is it?
And how would I do that?
Because I didn't understand exactly, I have to share my deal on this part,
and I have to be able to become holders.
How would I do that?
Yeah, so phase one of getting a public nouns.
And that's cool you're thinking about nouns doubt too,
because obviously they have a lot, they have a lot more money, right?
We got around 35th in our treasury to give out.
I mean, we've got some plans to replenish it,
so we're not going to go away when that does grow to zero.
But, yeah, obviously nouns dows, they're loaded.
So if you can get funding from them, amazing.
But yeah, the process with public nouns is,
is, yeah, get some feedback on the grant proposal before it goes on chain.
And that's also probably going to help the actual performance of it, right, if you get some feedback.
But it's the process.
So, yeah, we have a Discord, which is also our forum, right?
The Discord, the forum, same, same.
It's the same thing.
So you basically post in our forum by posting in the Discord.
Let me get a link for you.
And yeah, like, you know, the thing with Dow's, at least our Dow, and I think probably a few of them, right?
It's not like you get a notification or an email when something goes on chain.
Probably, I personally think that should be fixed, but with ours, it's a website. It's a web app. And so you put it on chain.
You know, unless you're a super diligent Dowel member like Wasabi always sees things.
You know, we might not see it.
And I might love your proposal, but not see it, right?
And so, yeah, once it's on chain, no, it's okay.
I'm giving you a solution as well.
Once it's on chain, just DM everyone, right?
I mean, even better if you DM before it's on chain, so we give you feedback on it.
But then we'll know, we'll be ready for it too, right?
So put it in the Discord, DM a bunch of noun holders, ask for feedback, get a badass proposal, put it on chain, then DM everyone, right?
So a lot of Dow members are in our Public Good Saturday Telegram.
If you want access to that, let me know.
I'll drop you a link.
But yeah, also like we're all in the Discord.
So you can just DM them on Discord.
Sometimes their X is there.
You know, sometimes the same handle as their telegrams.
So just like triple tap.
If you, you know, it's five-eath, right?
I think it's worth spending like a day, like DMing people.
It's probably only a couple hours, really, right?
But, you know, it's worth it.
Like, most...
Most of the ones that don't get past the finish line are not because it's majority no.
It's because they don't get enough votes, right?
So, DM them.
Hey, would you mind voting?
You don't have to say vote, yes.
Just say please vote.
And Anaele Chuku.
Yeah, thank you very much.
So when you talk about DM, I remembered you because I know you're very good at that.
So, but then I just have...
a different side of it.
I feel like, you know, it's best to maybe, like, post and tag them to it, you know, rather than sending DMs, because most times, most of the DMs I see on Discord are maybe usually these cameras or people who are just trying to repeat or something.
But then I think if you're just tagging them in a group or finding a way to, like, you know, sending them a...
maybe just tagging them in the discussion chat for them to check it out or
tagging them on the telegram as well maybe rather than DMs i don't know but then i feel like
you know tagging is safer than sending DMs yeah
Okay, yeah, cool. I mean, yeah, that's good advice. You're right that a lot of Discord DMs are straight up scams. That said, though, like, you know, if you're a public nouns holder, you know public nouns. WTF slash Dow is where to go, right? So I don't even have to click your link. You could just tell me, say, hey, please go vote.
And I'll just, I know which link to go to already.
I don't have to click your link, right?
So there's that.
And then, yeah, Telegram, great, like, tag them, Discord, tag them.
That's probably a pretty good strategy.
You can probably, I think you can go at all in Discord, too, which is, like, pings everyone.
But if you're talking about posting on X, I would not recommend tagging a lot of people.
Actually, that limits your reach a lot.
You're not allowed to tag a lot of people on X.
Like, I think, like, one proposed is kind of okay, but beyond that, wouldn't recommend.
So, yeah, that's why, like, when we do tree dedications, like, by the way, we plant, we're dedicating one tree from this Guinness World Record, not just on Tree Gen's and Jimmy page, but also public nouns.
So if y'all follow public nouns.
Uh, we'll, you'll get a tree dedicated to you, and you'll get it in your DMs.
Originally, we tried to tag everyone, and then nuke the reach.
Did not do well at all, because...
You know, because of that reason.
Not allowed.
Don't tag a lot of people on X, but do DM.
But in other cases like group chats, Discord, that might be a good strategy.
But again, when you DM, you don't have to share the link.
You can just say, hey, I've got a proposal live.
Please go vote.
It's for public nouns.
We know where to go.
So that's all good.
All right.
Welcoming up to the stage.
Civil monkey.
What's up, buddy?
Hello, hello.
So, thank you all for the thoughtfulness.
This is, yeah, I think how to go about it.
I mean, there are many different ways.
And this space is also one of the social infrastructures that I think...
At least it's a little bit helpful of getting the word out in your proposal and getting a discussion going.
I also do have the hope that common ground where the developers are kind of accessible and public nouns has a server on common ground.
And I think actually common ground is also in the current round on Giveth and
We'll speak on the Octane space on Monday.
And point being, maybe there's a way to integrate that,
to integrate those notifications when...
there are proposals going on.
But yeah, and there's also lots to learn from the broader nouns.
They're always revamping, like, front ends,
and there's so many different people working on, like, different frontends,
like nouns.com and nouns.world, well, I mean, that's a different thing,
but nouns.com is kind of one of the main front ends that people use to see the discussions,
and it's...
It's becoming more and more of a reality
where there's actually diversity in the front ends
that people can use, which is just enabled by everything
being on chain, which is kind of fascinating and interesting.
One thing I wanted to say also regarding getting involved and perhaps supporting public
accounts, if you feel like it, currently there's also the opportunity to get your donations
matched towards the public noun's operations budget on Giveith.
That's a project.
That is just going to operations.
So that's not being used for grants funding.
That's just being used to sustain and to have some kind of buffer and to have a budget
for public non's operations.
and also, yeah, to put lists together and all kinds of stuff.
So, yeah, that's currently in the QF round on Givereth that is funded by Octant and EnS.
And then what I wanted to bring up, and what is the second pin tweet at the moment, is the link to Nounsel.
And in my opinion, this is a massive, massive opportunity to get to know Nounstow more and to actually get feedback on proposals for Nounstahl.
And also to actually vote.
in this collective of...
So basically what noun is, it's the council, basically.
They have 30 nouns delegated to them.
So people who maybe were like, well, maybe I have a noun,
but I don't really have the time to follow everything and whatnot,
delegated it to Nounsel,
or also just to people when I have democratic inputs
and decision-making of people who don't have to buy a noun.
So the way that you can get in the group to vote.
So first of all, the calls, so they do weekly calls every Thursday, I think,
10 a.m. or 8 a.m. Eastern in the Discord. So a few hours before now on Thursdays in the Discord.
You can also, again, if you go to the Twitter profile at Nounsel N-O-U-N-C-I-L and just scroll for a little bit, you'll find the Discord link.
So that's totally open. And then...
At some point, if you really want to be part of the voting group, you can request that.
And then you stay part of the people who can vote on where those 30-nowns votes go.
You stay eligible to vote if you have a voting participation of, I think, more than 69%.
So, yeah, you really got to be active and engaged to stay active, which I don't know, I think makes sense overall.
But, yeah, like, overall, this is just, I've been, I finally started participating in them and, like, joining the calls and listening.
And, yeah, it's really, really great to hear from people who are putting proposals in and also to hear kind of what the sentiment is.
And, yeah, in my opinion, it's...
incredible opportunity just like joining that regularly and yeah getting involved in
Nounstow and the whole ecosystem I mean at the end of the day there are quite a few things
that are trickled down from Nounstow to the rest of the NAMG ecosystem but yeah that's an
open call and yeah
Love that. Thank you for sharing that alpha, my guy. That's what it's all about.
Coming here, dropping that impact alpha.
That's really cool. Yeah, of course, Nouns Dow can give bigger grants.
And they have also funded a lot of public goods as well, right?
They're just not exclusively public goods.
So that's really cool.
And yeah, we'd definitely recommend following those tips of my guy, Civil Monke.
Go ahead. What's up?
Yeah, I just wanted to say thank you to Civil for that alpha.
You know, it's very much needed because we at Coconut are working on a few,
let's say, it's not like grant proposals, it's more like collaboration grants,
you know, because we want to create wing-wing scenarios.
Yeah, a little bit of alpha is that
We have public nouns proposal coming up.
Hopefully we're gonna be posting it next week.
We are now, as of right now,
gathering feedback from nouns holders.
So yeah, I'm used, I'm going to reach out in the DMs to you, Seville, and to you, Jimmy.
I see, I see John here.
I really, I kind of like told John a few weeks ago that I had this idea in the works.
So yeah, I'm going to be reaching out to a bunch of public nouns holders.
Because, you know, I want, besides of, you know, trying to get social support, I want feedback because we really want to create these wing-wing scenarios between the coconut ecosystem and the nouns ecosystems.
I mean, the noun ecosystem.
I feel like we are kind of aligned because if you think about it, every noun's branch has like a,
a different purpose. So we want to use the coconut framework in a way that we create
outcome-based farms. So we can fund those purposes that also the Nouns branch, every Nouns branch is
working on that intersection. So yeah, I'm very excited. Yeah, let's go.
Oh, my bet. I was just trying to drop something in comments.
That's amazing, Burski.
Can't wait to see your proposal.
And speaking in terms of Jimmy right now,
necessarily from the whole doubt.
Yeah, I'm bullish on you, my friend.
And it was an honor to delegate my P-Nown to you.
By the way, cello, if those of you don't know,
cello is a super-region,
chain. They in the next few days are going to become an L2 on top of Ethereum and a part of the
Optimism Super Chain, which means if you're building on Sello, not only can you get grants from
from this thing that I just
planted up in the garden.
They're live on charmverse.
competre.xy.
So it's through charmverse.
They've already done
an apricot grant round of 160K
and a mini-grant round of 132.
They just opened almond grant round,
which is 271,000 total.
And I believe you can apply for
I think it's up to 20K or something.
I can confirm exactly how much, but there's that.
Plus, since it's a part of the optimism super chain,
that also means that you're eligible for retrofunding on optimism, right?
So optimism will also fund retroactively.
They do this, I believe, right now it's happening on a rolling basis.
And so, yeah, you need like 420 on-chain transactions and like a thousand...
total transactions or something like that.
There's some of the criteria.
You want to check out the optimism portal there.
But yeah, it's a part of the super chain,
which means you're eligible for that.
Plus there's this presentie grant right now that's open.
The deadline for this is April 18th.
Plus, by the way, during Gitcoin grants rounds,
like, Selo has done a...
they've done a community round, right?
They actually have...
pretty sizable amount.
I believe it's in the millions.
I'm not sure exactly how much.
Maybe it's like tens or hundreds of miles.
It's a lot.
It's a lot.
They're a community fund.
Maybe what's that.
I don't know if you can confirm.
But we should get Monty on here.
There's quite a lot.
And so they're going to be planning a lot of community rounds and retrofunding rounds.
And I mean, even right now, if you run your Gitcoin grant round,
cello matches it to an extent.
And so they're very active in the Gitcoin grant community.
So, you know, that's kind of a trifecta right there.
You've got optimism retro funding since sell is a part of the super chain.
You've got direct grants.
Right now it's happening through presenti.
And then you've got Gitcoin grants happening as well.
They're not running a specific round right now, but they have in the past and they might even mid-round as well.
Just keep that on your radar.
If you're a regent builder,
Cello's super like regent since that they're carbon negative.
They launched on Earth Day and...
And yeah, they're one of the foster growing chains.
Of course, you've got to bounce that out with activity and whatnot,
but a lot of folks are going multi-chain in the future.
And that's definitely something to keep in mind.
So I planted that up in the garden,
and if you swipe one to the right, you will see the Discord.
So that's basically the form of public nouns.
You can jump in there and you can, you know, do to Ting.
If you really want to...
By the way, the reason I found that link is...
Gap. KarmaHQ.XYZ slash funding-hyphen map.
There are like, how many?
It's like 445 different public goods funding opportunities right there.
I mean, what a time to be alive, you guys.
you know it used to be few and far between where you know if you're if you're building
uh... open source or regenerative finance on the blockchain that you could get funded
you know in a in a reliable or sustainable way you know gitcoin grants happening every
quarter gives us happening even more frequently it looks like and there's literally
four hundred and forty five opportunities you probably uh...
apply, you know, you probably qualify for at least some of them, you know.
So, so check it out.
Make sure you're getting your grant proposal in early.
Wasabi, when should be, I know the deadline is the 31st,
but when do you recommend OSS builders get their Bitcoin grant in
to ensure revision before the round opens on the 21st?
Is that the 31st or do you think even sooner?
Because sometimes there's a bit of back and forth, you got to fix something, la-de-da.
I would say that as long as you submit by the deadline, you're going to get the same treatment as everyone else.
Like, yeah, the same white glove service, like reviewers reaching out in case that something is missing.
You have room for the appeals in case that you are rejected, you still can appeal.
Like, what we're looking for is that.
we are not approving new grants proposals after the round began.
You know, because, sorry, last season, still one week into the round,
we were approving last minute applications.
So, yeah, that's why we're closing up to the two days before the actual debt,
uh, run start. So we can process everything, um, everyone's gets to
be in the round when the kickoff happened,
you know, the round kickoff happens, yeah.
So you will get feedback,
yay or nay,
if you apply before the 31st,
In my experience, you might have to update something on GitHub or Read Me section or something,
you know, if it's OSSS, you might, I would personally recommend a few days before the 31st deadline, right?
Just to make sure in case you get feedback and then you got to update and then da-da-da-da,
because you want to be live on the second.
You don't want to be going through that feedback back-and-forth process and you miss out the first few days
because then you lose momentum, right?
Like once you have momentum and it shows the forecasted matching number,
and it's looking good.
It's going to lead to more contributions, which leads to more.
So you don't want to miss out on that momentum.
So get it in early.
Start next week.
Recommend submitting.
And but yeah, let us know if you want feedback on anything.
Remember, there's 400 plus grant opportunities right there.
There's a lot of really cool ones.
that you might want to apply for.
And then another really good one.
And this is a tool that's, you know,
if you're wanting to make a big proposal
or might even help me with your Bitcoin grant, honestly.
I mean, it was a free version,
depending on how much you want to write,
but Grant Orb not only helps you write grants using AI,
but they also share some pretty cool opportunities.
So if you just scroll to the bottom of that page
or actually midway through,
you're going to see...
Some interesting ones here, you know.
TD Friends of Environment Foundation, right?
That's like, okay, that's a smaller 8,000 grant,
but, you know, these things can grow a long way.
So you might want to shoot your shot,
and nowadays, thanks to AI, doesn't take a whole lot of time to do that.
You know, you can do that pretty quick.
And, yeah, there's some interesting ones here for sure.
Get it in, friends.
Does anyone have any other public goods impact alpha that they want to share before we conclude?
Anything you all want to say before we conclude the spaces?
Outcome space aspect for the wing, bro.
That's the new meta.
That's the new, you know, that's the new.
That's, you know, that's the way to grow.
Oh, Wasabi, maybe do you want to share a few specific events from the Massive?
Let's Grow, UnlockedG Protocol, Gigi 23.
Can in the list just like name a few, like, dates, times?
How does all of that work for people who don't read?
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, we have, I would say that the most important events happening next week as part of the
Geekoi onboarding program is on Tuesday, a Karma Gap live session with someone from the
karma team, they're coming, you know, they're going to do a live session, they're going to answer
questions, they're going to do a hands-on walkthrough and on the 26th.
Wednesday, the 26th, we have the GICT-Coin Security Council, you know?
We have a bunch of hacks going on.
We have a bunch of social engineering going on to steal your assets.
make sure to attend to the event on the 26 because it's not going to be recorded for security purposes.
You know, we kind of reveal the playbook to scammers. So you need to be there. And we are going to promote those two events in every
public books, social channel, telegram, Twitter, everywhere.
We're going to blast those events, like right after this call.
I'm going to start promoting them.
But they already listed in the ULock collection of events for the program.
And you want to make sure that you attend at least, like, if you care about grants reporting and Marston's attend to the Tuesday event, and if you want to be like,
bulletproof for this upcoming Ginkoing season, but also, you know, those, that knowledge is useful.
It doesn't matter if you are a grantee, a donor, or use another WebTree regular user, like, make sure to attend because it's going to be jam-packed.
with data and make sure to take notes.
Because this secret advisor, he's next level and he's really good at his craft.
I love that, brother.
Yeah, dude, hacks are happening all the time.
They are coming for your crypto.
Dude, Will T's Telegram got compromised like a few hours ago.
And fortunately, that got fixed pretty quick.
But yeah, dude, like, I got a DM and I was like, this looks catchy.
And, yeah.
And, dude, people getting crafty, man.
Like, some guy tried to pretend he was a reporter of Bloomberg.
Look pretty legit.
I got on a legit Zoom call with them.
They interviewed me.
I pitched my heart out.
And then they had a pop up and, like, you want to give them control of your computer?
I'm like, uh, no.
He's freaking guys were posing as Bloomberg reporters.
Just, yeah, you got to be extra careful out there, fam.
Like, they will get crafty.
But, you know, you put in all this work and you get some funding finally for your startup.
And then you click a fishing link and boom, it's all over, you know?
Don't fall for that.
Please don't fall for that.
That is some great alpha right there.
So I'm glad that these things are free.
The sessions on how to not get wrecked are free.
And that within itself is a public good.
So, cheers to that.
I hope you'll have an amazing rest of your Saturday.
Remember today is...
We got another person that just came up on stage.
Okay, Hina.
Hey, everyone.
Well, I know we're wrapping up, but today is World War Today. And I, if folks didn't know, today's World War Today, if there's ever a day to think about water, it's today. And I have a poem that I wrote about water that, if we want to wrap up with that, I can share that. But if we're ready to wrap up,
Right now, we can do that too.
We never say no to your poem about water.
Water is life, my friend.
Absolutely.
Take it away.
All right, thanks.
This ain't a lecture.
It's a love song to the mother that's held us all along.
In the beginning before borders or birth, water held the memory of the ancient earth.
So take a minute, bow your head.
Remember this.
Water is sacred.
Switch two letters and sacred becomes scare.
I'm afraid, because we never cared.
We saw water at a commodity, something that's here for you and me.
But last time I checked, water's not an object.
Let's show some respect.
It's time to reconnect.
With the life force that runs through all things, revel and rejoice in the song that it sings.
There's nothing more sacred than H2O.
It brings life wherever it goes.
So how can we be more conscious?
that we are water and water is us.
Bless the water, you know your ought to protect it now for our sons and daughters.
Dried up lake beds, all our seas polluted, let's say instead, water is sacred.
Waters 70% of a human body.
That's a pretty big majority and it's 70% of the surface of the earth.
Seems quite coincidence for what it's worth.
The same water we drink was always here,
yet it's been recirculating for millions of years.
So whatever our background or our nations,
let's protect it for future generations.
Think we'll solve all our problems with technology.
One day it'll be too late to send my grandkids an apology saying sorry.
We defiled the essence of life. Sorry.
Greed and corruption were rife. Sorry for every lake, river, cloud and sea that we exploited selfishly.
We could heal the water crisis with a shift in perception if every person had a conscious connection with water and always acted for its benefit.
When we look at water, it reflects us.
Every day it preserves and protects us.
Water heals and sustains.
Be aware of it.
It takes care of us.
Let's take care of it.
Let's connect with water.
No longer ignore it.
Working hand in hand, we can restore it.
Bless the water, you know your ought to protect it now for our sons and daughters.
Dried up lake beds, all our seats polluted.
Let's say instead, water is sacred.
Water is shapeless. It takes on any form.
A cup of tea or a thunderstorm.
Be like water. Then you'll understand.
Be water, my friend. Let your consciousness expand.
Every religion includes water in ceremony.
It's an integral part of our shared history.
But our polluted hearts will create more of the same until we remember who we are.
And from where we came.
We have to protect water, make sure it's clean. Come on, really, how hard does that seem?
But somehow as a species, we started regressing. Somehow we forgot that water is a blessing.
Mother Earth is calling. Mother water is sick. Let's show her our gratitude and do it quick.
Bless the water, you know your order.
Protect it now for our sons and daughters.
Dried up lake beds, all our seas polluted.
Let's say instead, water is sacred.
Bless the water, you know your order.
Protect it now for our sons and daughters.
Without water, we would all be dead.
So let's say instead, water is sacred.
He now, my guy.
You're a poet. I didn't know it, but now we all know it. You're a legend.
Yo. Okay, thank you so much for doing that. That was the perfect way to conclude the spaces.
And I really hope you come through Let's Go Live as well, starting April 2nd for two weeks straight 24-7.
You come in any time and share your poetry. We'd love to do more.
For sure. We'd love to. Thank you.
Much love everybody.
Until next time, keep doing what you love.
Keep spreading love.
Yo, before we go, bro?
Sorry, I have my hand up.
Oh, yeah, you did.
Oh, yeah, I forgot it, but...
Yo, it's crazy because, you know,
I can attest to everything that he just said
because my water service is down right now.
Something broke in my building,
and we don't have water for at least three more hours.
So, yeah, I can say that, yeah,
it's a critical...
need for us as humans,
same as farmers, you know, even farmers.
Like, everything we eat depends on rely on water.
And we rely on farmers.
So at the end of the day, yeah, water is everything.
I can, you know, I can feel the pain right now.
I hope that's sorted for you soon, my guy.
But yeah, don't you like...
You don't realize what you have until it's gone, right?
Like you...
You spoke for thousands of years, right?
Yeah, I experienced that a few times when I was living in Kenya.
Like something happened with the water.
And, of course, there's severe water scarcity.
You know, not everyone knows this, but for seven years of my life, I was completely dedicated towards solving the water crisis.
I was doing like water wells. I was building biosan water filters.
I was teaching people how to make biosan water filters. That's actually the original reason why I went to go to Africa back in like 2020 was to do that work.
And it's, yeah, definitely a...
a cause that's near and dear to my heart.
So if people have, you know, great solutions for this,
please let me know.
We love to support however humanly possible.
You can use coconut hosts to create water filters.
Oh, snap, dude.
My guy knows everything about coconuts.
Yo, I'm learning a lot of time about the use cases.
But, yeah, there's so many coconut use cases.
Yeah, it's crazy.
It's crazy.
It's crazy.
There you grow.
By the way, I didn't knew that.
And I learned that during a less-grow life space with this guy from Portugal,
how's his friend of endangered trees, like,
He's like, I don't remember the name of the project.
OxyGeng, yeah, yeah, yeah.
I think they're actually, they're doing pretty well, I think.
They were doing a few water projects in Asia.
I think they are based, I think they might be speaking Portuguese, but I mean,
in Brazil, traveling around, but yeah, I think also Brazil.
Yeah, definitely.
I met the founder IRL at COP 28, I think it was.
Yeah, COP 28.
Yeah, great guy doing great stuff.
Oxygen chain.
Yeah, great memories.
Thanks for reminding me.
We should reach out to him.
Try to get him involved again.
He was not in Gitcoin.
Great dude.
Connection's bad. Can't speak.
Okay, Dane Z says, I just wanted to ask where I can find your website to learn more about your project.
You can join the space because they interact with the founder of Tree Jens.
I think he's talking about public nouns, right?
Okay, let me share this.
Public nouns.wtf.
Everyone can check out that website.
Some cool stuff on there.
You can learn all about our Tao.
And, yeah, this is the...
This is the spaces that's hard to conclude.
We love the spaces.
And there's always more to share.
There's always more alpha.
But yeah, make sure you're following us.
You will get a tree dedicated to you.
And we're going to be posting other Impact Alpha as well on our channel.
And we're going to be doing this every Saturday.
We might even be regularly hosting as PNounds during LGL.
on April 2nd. So yeah, make sure y'all are applying for Let's Go Live.
If you got a Gidcoin grant or not, you can be a part of it.
You know, we are branching out beyond the grantees, and we definitely want to invite all the
communities to participate because...
Together, we are so much more stronger and capable of making a scalable impact, and we got to all join forces to really make this change that we want to make in the world.
So much love, everyone.
Until next time, keep doing what you love.
Keep spreading love and making impact.
