it's better and better thank you so much for kicking it off with our theme song that was p
ymp for pimp radio plug your music please you guys know what it is please feel free to request if you
want to perform i see we have some people up here already that i would i cannot wait to hear from
so um yeah do what vivian just did and because vivian just did it first that means that vivian
gets to go first we all see what you did here right put your hand up it's because i'm a nerd
and a former teacher i'm like pick me please love it oh my gosh how are you i've missed you how you
doing i've missed you all too i'm i'm okay we in chicago in chicago well you're in canada we had
a deep freeze like freezing freezing freezing below zero for weeks on end and today i went
by the lake because it was a whopping 39 degrees and like raining and i was like oh my god it's
so warm oh my god yeah it's been freezing and we've been getting like um like we got snow obviously
canada things but we're getting like a lot of um it's been up and down so like it'll rain
and then it gets cold again and then the roads are just ice so we've had black ice too for
like the past couple days so yeah like i'm like oh my gosh uh my birthday's on saturday
and uh so i'm gonna be 49 i was like oh my god a bitch cannot break a bone now
no no slipping and falling for you um can i tell you guys something really cool um so
you know web three i like come in and out over time but um this past weekend do you remember
mela felice lizae do you remember felice yes yes i remember felice so felice is a backup
singer for this chicago-based group called uh drama duo who are huge and she was in town in chicago
and i got to like link up with her and watch her perform this awesome show and then hang out
in the green room so it was a really really beautiful cool like web three thing that i was
like oh shit that's amazing you know what i i need to connect with her it's been a really long
time i haven't seen her around in spaces and i know that's no excuse but um yeah i gotta connect
she's awesome she's la based and um it seems to be a backup singer with kanye she sang with
the killers like she's um but she's really into the tech stuff and on like with web three and the
whole time in the green room we're talking about nfp's and gamification and like all these things
and everyone else in her crew is like what the fuck are you guys talking about i love that i
love that vibe i love it when everyone's looking at you like what is web three so like oh my god
we're so early yeah literally i mean she was still like no vivine don't worry you don't know
the text she was like you're so early yeah no for real um but you know when people are people are
a little bit more like open to it now than they were especially back when when we were first
meeting like you know fleas and stuff when we were in spaces people are definitely more open to it
now oh yeah yeah i mean it's funny because she's like you know i mean this band drama duo by the
way awesome they do like singer songwriter sad shit but like to dance music so i was like oh my god
but like the manager and their pr all this stuff where like felice is like trying to like tell them
about nft's and they're like uh-huh uh-huh anyway i love bringing that to this conversation no that's
awesome i love that i love that you got to hang out with her backstage and talk web three
and uh freak everybody else out but i would love if you would like to perform that with you
that would make me even happier um sure i excuse me i was gonna say i'm gonna stick around for a
little bit i did miss you all hi fondue by the way you sounded amazing as always and i can't
believe you're sick and you sound that good so shut the front door thanks vivine i mean i mean
look again i just want to clarify i'm on like the back end of being sick i'd say i'm 95 better so i
don't want to sit here and have people think that i'm like in the middle of a cold and singing i'm
definitely not i mean it's still hard when you've had back-to-back stuff as a vocalist covering
it was it was brutal actually it was definitely and it sucks because you know i mean you know
because you play you play live so much like i was starting to get back into a rhythm
and then you get sick you know like ah well i need to let myself rest
great gonna lose all that momentum oh i feel that it'll come back though it'll come back like
i was gonna say so i'm gonna stick around for a little bit but actually on friday i know saturday
on my birthday um i have a double header so i'm playing a three-hour solo show at the epiphany
center in chicago and then right after i have to rush in an uber and go to this other show
that's like a latinx um variety show where it's gonna be like puppets and improv and poetry and
i'm the musical guest in common dude that's so cool what i know it's weird like i'm a broke
bitch but like i'm a linked-in broke bitch you know it's like the cultural stuff so
but amazing how do i i want to be a part of that i know we keep talking i'm gonna get to
chicago yes you're gonna get here and then we will work it out and we will make all the beautiful
things happen yes oh my gosh all right well everybody introducing the beautiful the talented
vivian garcia take this away i have been saying all day so what i don't know what i'm about to
sound like but we'll see
and my guitar is out of tune because it was by the heater sorry y'all
and i couldn't tune it before the space otherwise i wouldn't have come in
i don't know what's going on
baby you've been gone just a little too long
because i like it when you hear life's good when you need when you're coming back
when are you coming back when you're coming back
but yeah actually now i can
i swear people cycle in and out of your life watch out
if you're lucky enough to get older it will happen
uh i never did that
thank you that was awesome vivian thank you
it's so cool see like those are the things i wish i was good at you know the the little
vamping and in the middle of it i love it thanks so much i love this space i love what
you all like the space that you create for everybody to sort of like tell their stories
because that's what we do but also you know just like welcome so many different styles of
music into your room so yeah thanks thank you vivian um please feel free to post something up
to the top uh you know where where can people find your music um i know that you you had a
song that got into a movie if you want to post that up top you know i will find that and by the
way that movie now is available it's still screening internationally like in berlin and
some other places it's a movie called the persian version and i was released by sony pictures um
and i have a song in that film and now it's on like google and uh amazon and apple and all that
stuff so but i still don't have an isrc or iswc number so i'm not gonna like collecting my
mechanical royalties it's a longer story but but it's out there so thanks yeah i'll figure out how
to put it on the jumbotron cool yeah and into the comments too um i've heard the jumbotron
disappears after the space but the comments don't so that's a good spot to put them as well
i'm gonna take this moment to say everybody in the room thank you for being here please repost the
space and uh you know jump into the comments let people know what you think of their performances
get some conversation happening in there it's good for the algorithm you know um and also if there's
any musicians that you know on x or elsewhere let them know that we're doing this little jam sesh
they can come in play a song um whether it's you know live or not we welcome all types of music and
all forms of music so yeah um thank you i do just want to say um i mean yeah thank you for being
here but also there's nine reposts and there's 35 people in the room right now that are benefiting
from artists coming up here to perform for free right you can un-repost it after you leave the
space like no big deal but it helps the algorithm so go and hit that in there like you're in here
benefiting from all of our time the least you can do is help us grow this space you know that's
all i gotta say that's it you know that that's all brought to you by this is not a guilt trip
exactly not a guilt trip it's just not that hard um so we just suggestion go ahead what's up
no he this everyone was just tagging on thank you oh he's hanging on i i thought he had a suggestion
okay i'm slow um but i'm quick to read the comments and i heard that you wanted to know
if uh drum and bass i think that's what you asked about if we welcome drum and bass and yes the
answer is yes we love genres of music that's awesome hi everybody what's going on homies
what's good welcome welcome thank you for having me up i really appreciate it um does anyone have
the means to play that piece that i just dropped yeah send it uh send it send it over to me in in the
dm uh and i i got you i'm i'm set up right now is that fondue yeah that is fondue you are not
following me or yes i am i can't you are i can't yeah we both yes i can we both are yes there
we go don't play with dad i know there we go so this uh this track is called the switch up
and it is my most recent track uh the link uh and i'll pin it too if that's all right
yeah definitely i mean definitely pin it definitely throw it in the comments um here we go let's see
hope we're gonna hope this doesn't blow out my speakers okay guys give me one second because
i don't know how loud this is gonna be dot daddy on the goddamn beat oh there we go
I'll see you in the next video.
Much love, fam. I appreciate that.
Yeah, man. And I'll tell everybody, definitely go check out, like you, you know,
post it up top and post it in the comments, because the visual on that was really awesome.
I liked it.
I got to give a shout out to not play in the audience, or at least he was in the audience. Where'd he go?
He's the one who turned me on to Kyber, allowed essentially gave me his blessing to make beautiful work in that fucking AI.
That's awesome. Kyber's sick. I I've used it a couple times. I'm still trying to get the hang of it. So definitely.
If you ever need tips, I've been busting my ass, learning how to prompt in it. So cool. Yeah.
Hit me up in the knees. If you ever have any questions.
Thank you. Yeah. So just on the music side of things, that was dope.
Thank you for coming up and sharing that with us. Like I said, we welcome all genres, all styles of music.
And it's cool to have like, I don't know, like a pow wow with all these different styles and, you know, any goes here.
I absolutely concur. And I don't just make drum and bass. I make all sorts of interesting experimental music.
So feel free to check out 4K video is linked in the post.
It will bring you to my YouTube, which is where all my 4K videos live.
And you are welcome to watch and take a look into my mind a little bit.
Nice. Thank you. If you can post something in the comments and up top, that would be helpful for audience members.
I mean, Loki said that Nate's not here because he loves drum and bass and he would have been like just so hyped to hear that.
Share the track with them. Yeah, I'm going to definitely send that to him for sure.
I am scrolling through my highlights trying to find on the tracks. I'll put a couple in the comments for you.
Awesome. Appreciate you, Dad. Daddy. All right. We are going to go to the. Yeah, man.
We are going to go to the hands here. I've got cash. Bessie Joseph.
But before we do, I think we have some people up here who wanted to say hi.
I could make it really uncomfortable and call everybody's name out and and make you guys like race to the mic.
But I don't know if I want to do that.
The audio unmuted first. Oh, there's a skidding skidding stop.
Hey, yo, what up, everybody? I'm not even going to shout out all the names because it's just a bunch of legends in this space.
And it's amazing. Thirty one people and still after the announcement only 17 retweets.
Well, you know, hey, what are you going to do? But, you know, we could help each other.
I retweeted to no guilt trip. No guilt trip. No guilt trip. No guilt.
But, you know, I just wanted to say I saw Mela be in San Diego live and it was dope.
Absolutely dope. She was exactly as you would expect Mela B to be.
And so I did send those videos. Hopefully you got a Mela B. It came from MC seven at me dot com.
That's my email. So make sure to throw tons of span that way.
And I just wanted to say what up to everybody.
But, yo, that drum and bass track right there, that was there was some switch ups.
Definitely very interesting type of sway and the kind of speed of the song.
So that was really dope. Thank you so much, man. I really appreciate that.
Yeah, for sure, man. I like when it gets switched up and Vivian knocked it out the park.
But, yeah, I just wanted to say hi. And what up, Betsy?
Hi. What's up, dude? Thank you so much for coming out to San Diego.
I mean, you were you were nearby, but thank you.
Thank you for coming to the show. I really, really appreciate that.
And it was so cool to meet you in person and to, you know, jumping backstage and like having people come up and say what up.
And I don't know that that felt really good.
It was really cool to have people in the audience that have heard my songs before.
And it wasn't too bad. I felt pretty good about it, you know, regardless of not having a sound check and just kind of.
I don't know if I told you this, but two seconds before I went on stage, literally as Barry called me on to stage, my guitar malfunctioned.
And the part where you plug the guitar or the guitar cable in the washer and the nut, I guess, fell right off of my guitar.
So I was backstage just frantically like Dakota was holding the guitar up.
I'm trying to screw it back on.
There's a washer somewhere in the holding company that will live there on the floor forever because there's a piece still missing from my guitar.
And I don't know where it is. So, yeah, that show, it was total like it felt like total rock star moments because it's like, you know, like nothing ever goes right at a rock show.
You have to plan for.
And if it goes right, it's yeah. But yeah, for not going right. You just you knocked it out of the park. It was amazing.
And there was actually the band right before you as well was like really good. Then I had to dip out, get back to work.
But, you know, you for being under pressure of having the nuts fall off your guitar, that's really good.
Yeah. My guitar was nutless. It was castrated, sadly, right before my my set.
So I knew it. I knew you were going to go there. I had to. I saw an opportunity and I took it.
At least that's what I think Audiomatic was alluding to there. But yeah, I appreciate you.
Thank you for coming through to the show. Thank you for coming to Pimp Radio. Stick around.
I feel like we're going to have some good music tonight. We always do. But I can feel it in the air, feel it in the metaverse.
So let's get the party started. Fondue, where are we at?
We've got we've got even though it is down now, it was up. I've got Cash, Vessi, Joseph.
You know, we'll check in with John here and Thumper, our guy. But yeah.
And if there's anybody else who wants to come up and share, come on up, get yourself in the queue.
Because as it gets later, I'll tell you, that's that's where the time starts to press.
And then we get people coming up that aren't able to share.
Or I have to do the old camp bring you up on stage because we'll overrun until one in the morning thing.
So you guys know the drill. Come up something. And yeah, Cash. Well, can I actually hear Vessi first?
I'm excited to hear what she has more than my own music, of course, because like I know what I'm going to play.
Yeah, sure. Vessi, if you want to go, go for it. Well, thank you.
Hello, you guys. I love you. Every day. Not just on Wednesdays.
I did not know punk rock girl. Give me a chance, punk rock girl. Let's go slam dance.
We'll dress like Minnie Pearl. Just you and me, punk rock girl.
We went to the bill pizza company and ordered some hot tea. The waitress said, well, no, we only have it iced.
So we jumped up on the table and shouted anarchy. And someone played a beach boy song on the jukebox.
It was California dreaming. So we started screaming on such a winter's day.
She looked at me and her parents for a Sunday meal. Father took one look at me and he began to squeal.
Punk rock girl, it makes no sense. Punk rock girl, your dad's vice president. Rich as the Duke of Earl.
Yeah, you're for me, punk rock girl.
We went to a shopping mall and left at all the shoppers and security guards trailed us to a record shop.
We asked for Mojo Nixon. They said, hey, he don't work here. We said, hey, if you don't got Mojo Nixon, well, your store could use some pictures.
We got into her car when we started rowing. I said, how much you pay for this?
They said nothing, man. It's going punk rock girl. You look so well punk rock girl. Let's have a child. We'll name her Minnie Pearl.
Just you and me eating fudge banana squirrel. Just you and me. We'll travel around the world. Just you and me. Punk rock girl.
Dead milk man, y'all. Thank you.
I bet you have a bitch in Camaro, Vessi.
Bitch in Camaro. I ran over my neighbor. I love that song, too. Oh, my God, I do. I love the dead milk man. I can't help the cash.
So fucking good. Oh, my God. I love that. I love it. I love how you just whip that out.
You know, that's kind of what I do. You just whip it out. Yeah, I whip it out in front of everybody, you know, when I learned what a whip is like that is actually a car.
At first, when I first heard that word, I was like, what is what is my friend talking about a whip? Like, what's he talking about?
I thought it was something sexual, but it was actually it's a car. It's a ride. It's a whip. It's a car. I mean, it can be sexual if you want it to be.
It's it's a car. It's a car. Yes, it's a car, Vessi. Come on, get with the times, girl. Are you going to co-host audio?
I feel like I should. I feel like Tony's not here with us. And I feel like we should all just pressure audio into being our best tonight.
This would be this would be two nights in a row that he got pressured into co-hosting somebody's space. That'd be really funny.
You like to hop around. So it's good. Look at his PFP. Audio, if I send you the request, will you accept it?
I don't know. It's I don't even know. We'd have to see what happens. OK. Well, while we're seeing what happens, why don't we check in with our guy, Cash, and see if he's ready to share a tune with us.
Yeah, that was awesome. I love the best. I'd never heard that song before, but thank you.
You go first, Cash. Can't wait to hear what you play.
I've got I just finished an album, so I'm going to play the intro to my album. Let me get up away from my cat.
But yeah, I'm so I'm so happy to be done my album because I do this thing where I just detox and I don't listen to music for like months just to like tap in to myself.
And then I finally got to start listening to music like three days ago. And I was like, yeah, I have music. Music's awesome. Forgot.
But here we go. This is the intro to my album. It's called Hear Me Out. And the album is called Eternity. I hope you like it.
Fire reminds me of the comments you like, so I guess that's the hype around you. The reason I found you has got me overwhelmed around you.
And I start a fight just to crown you. Feel like the stars align at the right time to compare next to you. Girl, the glow is embarrassing.
I bet if you hear your words and you lose and don't ever occur to me, I could do this for eternity.
But in a long time, feel like myself fell right away. I hypnotize this naughty person, my brain. But I mean that sometimes.
But no, girl, that one's draining this thing some of the time. So I'm not a fling. You ain't never an angel.
Shouldn't have been, but won't heal the same.
They're not really far that you can change.
Just tell me one time you failed this time.
Just give me your love. I'll feel your pain.
Heaven's gonna shake just to set you off.
You'll never want to feel the same way.
God won't say you games till it gets across.
You'll never look at them this time.
Yeah, that's all I got. I'm just gonna play.
Yeah, that's all I got. I'm just gonna play.
Thank you, man. I always appreciate it. You're always supportive of what I do.
Yeah, yeah, I really, really liked making this album. Like I was so happy when I finally finished it because like the middle the middle progress when you like feel like you got it.
But those couple like things that are missing make you feel like it's horrible. We're just such a such a weird feeling to have for like a month. And then it just all came together one day. So I feel super so relieving to get it all out of the way. It feels nice. I'm glad you like that.
If it makes you feel any better, I've been feeling that way. You just described for like the last 15 years of my life. So, you know, it's it's like I've been writing. I've been writing albums for so long that have never gotten recorded and that I've like moved on from old ideas.
And now I'm in this weird period where I have all these songs. And, you know, this will be the first year where I think I finally, I finally complete one of these, which is really cool. But yeah, I can definitely appreciate that feeling.
Yeah, no, that's exactly what it is. Like there's been so many times I attempted to make an album and just like scrap it basically halfway through. And then this is the one time that I like fully went through with finishing. And it is actually as rewarding as I thought it would be. So like I hope to see the same thing from you this year with the album.
That song was beautiful. It was really beautiful. Like right away was freaking eternity. It's exactly what it sounded like. I loved it.
Please remember to post something up at the top and in the comments. Cash, that song was beautiful. Quick question for you. Do you perform in? I know you're from my area. I'm curious if I can see you live.
I perform sometimes here and there at open mics. I'm not really like a like a live performer. I'm just practicing just getting my feet wet, though. But yeah, I'll let you know next time I perform.
Cool. Awesome. Yeah, please make sure you let me know because I will definitely come out to see you.
And please make sure you start doing live performances. We had a huge discussion about this this morning on Emma and Josh Savage's space about like kind of how important it is to the longevity.
You know, I think some, you know, sometimes you can you can hit it big as a studio producer and musician. And but I think you really like pigeonhole yourself into a small audience, even though it seems really big.
You know, you're going to meet so many new people performing live and you're you're going to get different. You know, it's going to be just a totally different experience. So yeah, I definitely I encourage anybody if you're not performing live, like start trying to figure it out.
Rappers, you know, everybody like figure it out. Even if you even if you're up there and you're singing and rap into a beat, figure out how to do a live version of it so that you're not just rapping over your own words.
And I mean, I'm telling you, like there's some of the best shows. It's you cannot recreate live on a studio album unless it's a live recording. Just it's impossible to recreate that feeling.
I'm sweet. I'll come and perform it and see what you think. Oh, I mean, that would be dope. I don't even I mean, that wasn't what I was prodding about. I was just talking about more in general live. But yeah, if you want to come in and perform it live.
Yeah. And this is like the perfect space to be able to practice that. I feel like we have like just like a really good crowd of people here. Most people that come through are artists. So yeah, I feel like this is a safe space to practice live performance.
Not saying like this is me just saying like to anybody, anybody that feels like they need to practice their live performance.
What Mel was saying is she uses this to practice all her songs, guys. 100 percent. 100 percent. Yeah.
What's what's hilarious is you guys opened up the group chat right after you had me up as co-host and you're like, hey, I bet we can get cash to perform live next week. And then all of a sudden you did. And then you played it off that smooth. That was hilarious.
I think live performances are super important. If you wear a mask, here's a little alpha. You can just hire people to do live performances for you. Just play tracks in the background.
But if you do it live with no mask, that's even more impressive. And if any artist out there doesn't have more songs in their hidden folder than they have out in the public, you got to be more selective, you know, because an artist is going to write and make create.
So that just happens. That's that's natural. But that track was amazing cash. That's all I could say is like it was definitely I love how I checked your profile and I noticed it was like R&B, I guess, like I guess R&B.
And then that's kind of like what I when I was listening to it. It wasn't really just R&B. It was more, I don't know, melodic and the cadence was switched up throughout the song. So it just made it a little bit more deeper than just playing R&B.
So I love the fact your bio said that. Yeah, we do like in Toronto, we have like our own brand of R&B and people that aren't from here call it R&B, but it's called trap soul.
But like everybody refers to his R&B. So that's why it's like like that in my bio, because it's definitely not R&B. Like it is like its own like hip hop type of singing melodic sound. Thank you.
It had I'm going to jump down so you can make more space, but I just wanted to tell cash real quick. It had that with or without you vibes. It had the tone. You had it had you too. You know, it just it sounded like I want to run. I want to hide. It had that vibe, you know, right from the go. Really loved it.
I'm going to check that out. I was thinking more like city and color. That was that's like really big for like what I've been listening to this week, but I'll check out. You said it's a YouTube. Yeah, YouTube with or without you.
Really amazing song. I feel like you'll know it when you hear it because it was like really, really famous when it came out.
All right. Let's keep us moving. Sergeant Fondue is going to keep us just moving forward in a direction.
Go Fondue. Just a heads up. Jonathan can't put his hand up because he's on desktop and he wants to. Great. Okay. Thank you. Sorry, Jonathan. See that that makes a lot of sense. That's okay, Fondue.
I got you. I got you. I'm going to slot you in here now. Let's say hi to Joseph. I think this is it might be Joseph's first time here. Or maybe not. I kind of recognize that car. What's up, Joseph. Welcome.
Hey, some people know me from other spaces and a couple of different places. Excuse me. That's funny you mentioned that YouTube song. I actually worked on that video back in the day. Yeah.
So anyway, I'm technically retired film and music entertainment and Jonathan knows me. He knows a lot of my background as well.
I have an artist that I'm working with right now. New and I just made her a music video. So I want to give it to you guys. I want to get a feel for this room and get a response. See how you guys like it.
And who can I give this? Oh, Fondue. Oh yeah. Yeah. You can say, Oh yeah. If you need me to play it, I can play it. Yeah. I'm going to need you to fund me.
My bad. I like realized I'm muted before I could answer. Yeah. Yeah. I got you. I just followed you back. Cool. Yeah. I'm not looking for it. I'm just saying I got to do it so I can get it over to you.
No, no, Joseph. I know you really came up here to just like, you know, farm some follows and yeah, just trolling away. What can I tell you? Oh man. Let's see. Yeah. All right. Joseph, what did you do on that video?
I don't know if it, Joseph, if you can't hear. No, I got it. No. Okay. Yeah. Cause I'm so glad you asked him. I see my son's pooping his watches ringing. Things are going on over here and I was like, yo, are they just going to skip over the fact that he worked on the video? Oh yeah. It's just one of those things tonight.
Um, I got 35 plus years in entertainment. Um, I toured with some of the best rock bands. Um, I was, you know, some of the hip hop and you know, even, um, what'd you call it there? New kids, you know, so just stuff got tired of the road and I settled down in Los Angeles, broke into the film industry.
Uh, got about a hundred movies under my belt, about 250 music videos, um, couple hundred commercials, just things. Um, some things I did audio on, some things I did transportation on. Um, I was crew for most part on the YouTube video. I did transportation. So, um, you know, just dealing with the talent, dealing with the crew, just stuff. Just another day it worked for me.
All right. Well, I've got this pulled up. Um, how do you pronounce her name? It is Maya Tijon. T-E-A-J-O-N. Gotcha. Um, great. Well, while I'm playing this, maybe sure you post this link up in the nest and in the comments so that people can go back later and watch the video themselves. Um, but here we go. This is called energy.
It's favorite.
Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Very, um, very soothing, very like makes me want to float on a cloud type vibe. I could smoke to that.
Yeah. Smooth orange. You know, and, uh, for the people who know who Delilah is, some of her music, uh, some of her other songs will make it on that.
Cool. So, uh, quick question for you. In what capacity are you working with this artist?
Technically light management at the moment. Um, her father is a friend of mine and because of my background, he came to me with her music and I'm not locking in as her manager or anything else. I'm just bringing her out there and seeing where we can go.
Um, you know, I'm old. I hate to say it like that, but you know, uh, my rolodex is still pretty good, I guess, you know, and I know how to pick talent and I, yeah, she's got the chops and she can perform this life as well.
And, uh, she's a pretty decent pianist and you know, so our album is complete. We just have to work on artwork now. We have to do a couple of other things.
And then we have another video that we're going to start in production on the second week of February and that'll be ready for the first week of March to be released as well.
Oh, my bad. Yeah, that was, that was definitely a dope. Um, so I'd say the, the one thing that I could say that I think would probably benefit for her, especially if she's just starting out and you know, it sounds like you guys are really just starting to roll her out.
Um, she should be out here promoting these videos and these songs. Like, it's not that we don't appreciate having somebody come in and share it.
But like, for me, I really think that we're moving to a new era of the music industry. And I think artists are going to have to get a lot more comfortable with coming out and promoting themselves and making the connections with the fans.
Because we're doing this like full circle thing where like we've gone to where we're so disconnected from the artists through Spotify and through all that.
And, you know, even if I think even I think if you're not doing music, I think that the connection with the fan is going to be such a huge piece going forward.
Um, so I would definitely, that's the only, I mean, that's the only critique. It's not the song was great, but that's, that's what I would say is like, I would encourage her if this is something she wants to do.
She needs to start coming out and, and building a community around that because she can build a live community and this like kind of internet community, like what most of us are doing.
And I really think that that propel her long term.
Yeah, we've already started doing that. What basically I'm doing is I'm jumping into a bunch of different rooms, sharing her music and getting a feel for the vibe for, you know, what people are liking.
I've already had to come into a couple of spaces and do interviews and speak and the video that we're going to start, you know, going into production.
Um, we had special, uh, release of that on that space. So we're getting there. We're getting there.
Now, how often do you do this space?
This is every Wednesday night, um, eight, eight 30 Eastern. Uh, and then there's also, there's a mega music space on Thursday afternoons, usually around 12.
I don't know. I guess it would be two 30 Eastern. Um, and that usually runs a couple hours as well. And those are the two kind of big music spaces that I know of. I mean, there's a bunch of spaces where you can share music.
Saturday, Krover has beat street Saturdays and even merely hip hop. Um, they are kind of all about all kinds of music coming in there. Uh, so that's another good one. So yeah, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, you can always find a big music space.
There's also a very serious talent show on Thursdays.
So, uh, yeah, so Thursdays, I think, uh, fondu hosts it actually.
You know, it's fun. It's really bad that I forgot it, isn't it? Um, yeah. Yeah. Thursday nights. We, we do host the talent show eight 30 Eastern as well.
Yeah. You're, you're not going to be received well, if you come in with someone else's music though, you gotta be, you gotta do it live in order to get a good score there though.
You have to do one of her.
Oh yeah, that's true. She will, no, yeah, she will have to, if it's a talent show definitely.
Talent show is like a bunch of laughs, but really great talent comes through. And that talent that I just heard, she was on fire. That was beautiful.
Thank you. Yeah, no, we're definitely going to do that. Um, I'm going to try to remember that this is there. I think I saw this post from Jonathan. So, um, awesome.
And then, yeah, and also cash. I can't wait to hear more of your stuff. I like that song.
Thank you, Ben. I appreciate it. I hope you're here next week. Then I'll probably be here.
He'll be here. I'll make him be here.
And I did drop, I did drop the video down on the pill. So awesome. Everybody wants to take a peek at it. It's, you know, on YouTube.
Awesome. Thanks.
All right. Um, I want to check in with my co-host real quick, uh, before we push on and see if maybe she's ready to share a song with us. I don't, I know you said you were going to limit yourself.
So I just wanted to check in before we move on to Dave and Jonathan and Bobby. Um, yeah, I'll definitely sing something. I'm really excited to hear from Dave and Jonathan.
So how about we do them and then I will sing something after.
All right. That's great. Dave, thank you for coming and hanging out. What's up, brother?
Oh, here. I'm sorry.
Hello, Dave. Dave, is that you? Hey, guys, you there?
Oh, my God, Dave. Hello. Hello. Hi. Oh, my God. Dave from Long Island, right? Wait, where? You, you. Hey, what's up? What's up, guys? How are you? I'm doing great. How are you?
Um, I'm pretty good. I'm pretty good. Um, thanks for being patient with me there. I have to run up to the mic. Uh, yeah. Anyway, so hi, I'm Dave from Long Island. And can I play you my new song today? Yes, please.
All right. Awesome. Uh, shout out Patriots are what's up, dude. I see you down there. He was a text in me earlier. So this goes out to you. This is called water fools. This is my first song by me, Dave from Long Island. So I hope you like it.
Hey, I want to tell you a tune.
that is supercalifragilisticexpialidocious by Dave from Long Island.
Dave, I got a quick question for you. Are you, are you a fan of semisonic? So, wow. Um, I am. Yes. My, my cousin Rick that I showed this to, he said that song sounds like in a mix between Oasis and semisonic. It's so weird that you just said that Oasis. I hear semisonic. I don't.
I was going to say the same thing for both fans. That's awesome. All right. So I'm onto something here. Okay.
So I promise everybody, if I may real quick, that is not the riff to, um, not semisonic, but supersonic by Oasis. That is not the same riff. I checked and it's also not blink by Emma Miller. I checked. I'm obsessed with that song and that's frankly what the chorus is. So I checked though. It's not the same. No, we noticed the differences.
Excellent. That was so good. I love that song so much. And you said that's the first song from Dave from Long Island. Yeah, that's going to be the first day from Long Island song. As you know, I go by definitely not Dave. Well, I won't filibuster with all my 20 names, but yeah, this is going to be the first to me. So cool. I love it. I love the production on it. Did you do the entire production? Like, did you work with anybody on this song? Tell us a little bit. Yeah, no, I, um, I work a
song. I basically think I kind of like conceived the song during the week, usually at work, tapping away in my head. And, um, at night I'll kind of like lay down basic stuff like bass lines or kind of figure out drums and kind of like the structure. And then when the weekend comes, I locked myself away in a room and from, we rearranged my house. So I can't go in the laundry room anymore, um, in the middle of the night. So now I go to my car. So that was actually produced. I mean, it's mostly Midian stuff, but yeah, everything
Wow. Oh my God. That makes it so much fucking cooler. I love hearing those stories. I love hearing like, dude, I was, I was in the back of it. Like, I don't know. I love hearing those crazy stories. So that's all my songs. It's easy. I mean, it's a, it's a, I don't know if it's an upgrade. I think sound quality. It's an upgrade to be in the car, but it's space wise. It was easier in the laundry room. It was a little bit. Well, I'm so excited to write a
day from Long Island is our very first platinum member in the Melaverse. So if you don't want, if you don't know what that means, join the discord. It's the link in my bio. Get with it. Okay. But one of the perks of being platinum means that we get to write a song together, um, and release that song together. So I'm very excited. Very, very stoked. I have, I'm anxious for you to redeem that reward. That's what I'll say.
Wait, how do you become a platinum member? You can become a platinum member by owning 20 of my NFTs, 20 of my music NFTs, or if you're, there's like a whole little like gamified structure to this. But the easiest, I mean, not the easiest way actually, what Dave did was he went up, he went and picked up a goober alien, which was my first NFT project. And that bumped him right to gold. And then he picked up 10 copies of dance and cry.
Which bumped him up to platinum. So that's how Dave did it. But there are various ways to do it. So like I said, if you want to learn about the structure, jump into the discord. Um, I'm going to be releasing more NFTs, like more music NFTs. So don't worry. This isn't, it's not like if you don't get in now, you're not going to get in like, um, there's plenty of opportunity. But with that being said, dance and cry is still minting. So how do I get into the discord? I have, I
can get a goober if someone is so kind to sell others to you because it's on the secondary market. Same with the J pugs. These are projects from back in 2021 that were meme projects. But yeah, basically, those are on goober aliens and J pugs are on the secondary market. But I don't know if any are listed currently. Oh, so if I got 20 dance and cry. Well, yeah. Hold on. But make sure you understand those two besties. She's talking about the limited
edition. And not the not the forever editions. Yeah, the limited edition. Yeah, exactly. Yeah. So I'm excited, Dave. I'm very stoked. I have a feeling you're gonna write like a fucking banger. And what a great present to give to have a bunch of those to give to people. I mean, what's better than to give a song and especially one by you, Melanie. So yeah, how much are they for one for one?
So dancing cry is minting for 0.033. What is that about? That's about probably just under 60 right now. I think it is down right now. So yeah, they're on sale. USD wise, they are on sale right now. Definitely. They're currently on sale. I mean, that's how I see crypto whenever we go down. I'm like, fuck yeah, let's go buy more. So anyway,
enough about me. Got a quick quick question for Dave. Shoot. So Dave, WBAB, are they still doing? Yeah, I know. Are they still doing super late night Saturday or Friday night for new artists? Wow. Okay. I actually don't I can't believe I don't know the answer to that. I should. I probably can call my dad and he'll tell me. But wow, WBAB, man, hitting really close to home.
If you're still on the island, you might as well try it. Get your song out there. I like it. You playing any clubs in town? Oh, cool, man. Thank you. Um, no, no, I don't play live. I just stick to myself. I'm actually I'm a dad. I'm actually kind of quiet right now because my kids are sleeping. And yeah, this is like my hobby. My passion project. Kind of a loner. Yeah, not really out. Not into going out in the world. Well, I originated from LA from one island. Nice, man.
Yeah, went out to Los Angeles. If I said if I said the downtown in Farmingdale. Oh, yeah. I live like right around the block. Okay. Well, you know, the three hotspots for cars. Cars, Nathan's. No, no, no. Batch Road, Port Jeff. Yeah, sure. I used to cruise all three. Oh, nice. Very cool. Nathan's. Okay, I'm sorry. I'm never taken over Long Island. Strong Island, guys. Man, these guys from Long Island. They
never know. I'm from Manhattan. Don't hate on New York. Listen, listen, if we all talk too much about New York, Rocky is going to come up and tell us about how mayonnaise can't be on bacon, bacon, egg and cheese for like the next two hours. Yeah, no. No, see, we know we just come on. Let's just go ahead and skip right over that. That's all right. And cut to Sarc defend. I just love I just legit love Rylan New Yorkers up about Mayo on bacon, egg and cheese. Like Rocky taught me that this is
possible to do. So anyway, we're gonna we're gonna move right along. We got our guy Jonathan. Dave should DM Joseph so that Joseph can put him in his Rolodex. And then that way. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Well, thanks, guys. All right, so we're gonna go we're gonna go to Jonathan. And then we got Mela. And then Bobby, I got you, Shane, even though your hands on up. I got you too, because I know you're up here to play. And Lucius, I'm sure you're here to share something. And then
we got Rocky in the request. We had creme in there too. But it looks like he had to take off. Love you. No, I appreciate you. I love you best. All right. Jonathan. Yes, sir. Hi, how are you? Thanks for being here. Thanks very much. Fondue. Thanks. Mela B and audio as well for audiomatic for co hosting. Thanks very much. I am a huge mayonnaise fan, especially on bacon, egg and cheese. But I tell you, it's best on French fries. No, no mayonnaise.
Or no ketchup, no mustard, all mayo. And Mela B, I want to say that I applaud you pitching to radio stations. That was something that you mentioned in the discord, which everyone should join. And I think maybe you should check out that station on Long Island. And see if Oh, that was terrible. See if you know, you can get your music on there. If anyone's got a radio station that you want to pitch Mela B to let her know, because she's trying to get out there. And
we should support her because she's supporting us. Thanks for giving a platform for independent artists. I really appreciate it. And I also want to give a shout out to its Louie baby down in the audience, interviewing him on my show. And that'll be this Friday at 8pm Eastern. So I'm gonna play one of my more polished songs. This is I think I've probably played it on here, but it's been a while. This is a song about monetization. I wrote it when the ad rev share program came about. And everyone was trying to
be a reply guy. And that's just not a game that I like playing. So this song is reply guy funk.
When you hosted Wednesday night space. Yeah, was that a little weird for you? Well, not me. I think it's just a little creepy. You blocked me. That's why I made another account. Maybe three. I will get you yet. You can bet. I'll make sure that you never will forget. I'm your greatest fan.
And I'll win. Hold that thought while I reply because you just posted again.
Good morning. Here's a funny meme. Good evening. I'll reply while you dream to your schedule. Post while you're asleep. Your reply guy. Don't call me a creep. You posted something. I like it.
Of course, your family history is Long Island Greek Norse. I'm on account five because you blocked my first four. I love you so much. That is why I'm at your front door. Good morning. Did you not like my meme? Good evening. I'll haunt you in your dreams. I love you.
I swear it's true. Your reply guy. Do you love me too? Would you rate my penis? Because I sent you a pic. Can I chew your weenus? Did you like my small dick? Would you co host my space? It's this Friday at eight. I love you so much. And this song is fucking so great. Good morning.
Thank you, Malabi. Good evening. This is PYMP. I love you. Every single one. Your reply guy. Till the morning sun. Thanks so much everybody. Remember to take care of yourselves out there and each other. This is Jonathan Caruso signing off.
I love it. So, so good. And I love the the improvisation, you know, PYMP radio through my name in there. You get bonus points. Brownie points for Jonathan. Love it.
Thanks, Mel. Yeah, that was that was absolute fire. I feel like you spent a long time and doing sound production at some level or live entertaining. I feel like this isn't. Yeah, you're not wrong. This is not my first rodeo. I've been doing music since the sixth grade. I am now 37.
And so, yeah, music is a huge part of my life. I performed, you know, in middle school and high school and a little bit in college. Stopped performing. This getting on X is probably the first time I've actually performed music in front of an audience.
And, you know, I don't know, almost 20 years. So it feels good, man. I love it.
Basically, X is just rejuvenation for old men that used to do music. Fondue, did you have something?
You know, I'm not going to play into that. No, that was fun, Jonathan. Appreciate you sharing. I see audio. Audio just slipped in there that he was calling me old because I have a very similar story.
But, you know, we'll just we'll just leave that at that. I was trying to bring Rocky up, but I guess, you know, I guess not because I can't lift my tiny invisible desktop hand.
If there's room to hop back into the rotation, I would love to do another one. But would have a happily yield if you're doing only singles tonight.
He said weenis, though. Keep that in mind, Mela. Yeah. Well, listen, I'm not going to forget that. I don't even know how long I tried to slip masticate in there. It just it didn't work.
What's a weenis? The weenis is the the skin. Like if you put your arm out straight and you grab that loose skin on your elbow, that's your penis.
Whoa, whoa, whoa. All right. Hold on. It's not even it. Listen, it's not even degenerate. Let's let's let's let's pump the brain on the penis.
What's the skin? Like the equivalent? Oh, God, I can't do it, Mela. What's the what's the equivalent on the leg? Is it like the knee skin and what?
I had to. I'm sorry. I'm blasted right now, Mela. That was fucking hilarious. Oh, my God. Also, another quick question.
You know how we have armpits? Why don't we call our like you know, the pit of your leg? Like it's it's a knee pit. Like why don't we call it that? Why don't we put deodorant behind her knees?
I don't know. That's a good question.
They don't think like your armpit. Oh, my God. Okay.
There's not as much hair. No, no, no, no. No, no, no. I might not be able to mute.
But I think it's like a bird's nest. Okay. How how how is he fighting through it? One question. I can't. I can't mute, Mela. But I can mute all the rest of you.
I'm going to hear her absurd absurdities. It's not absurd. This is this is deep. Okay. There is depth depth to this question. Okay. You know how we have fingertips, right?
Why don't we call toe tips toe tips and furthermore, how come you can tip toe, but you can't tip finger, but you have fingertips, but you don't have toe. I don't get it, guys.
It's not the math is not math thing. Listen, everyone. This space is brought to you by marijuana. Clearly, like very quite clearly. I am too fucking high for that fucking question.
Well, don't worry. The perfect thing is nobody has to answer any questions because we can just make Mela play a song because she had queued herself up after Jonathan.
And so, yeah, we can just we can just move right along with the queue and and get things rolling. Uh, Mela, how are you feeling that I'm feeling good. I'm feeling good. Um, I'm looking at my toes, like, what the fuck?
Bring up with that. Um, hello, friends.
This is a song.
It's called Dancing Cry.
And it's minting right now.
I guess I had this coming. The rain was bound to fall, but I'm not ready.
How could you be steady?
I made the bed, but I can't sleep without you messing up with me.
Now I'm the mess ain't got funny.
I don't want to know.
I just got to know. Does she make you laugh? Does she make you cry? Does she scratch your back? Does she make you satisfied?
Are you satisfied? Does she know your past? Does she know your dreams? Would she give it all just to make you happy?
Oh, are you happy?
I know that I'm not perfect for you. I really tried how to let you slip away.
I can't bear another day.
Seems you've got new plans as you should.
Somewhere our names are etched in wood.
Ain't that funny?
I don't want to know.
I just got to know. Does she make you laugh? Does she make you cry? Does she scratch your back? Does she make you satisfied?
Oh, are you satisfied? Does she know your past? Does she know your dreams? Would she give it all just to make you happy?
Oh, are you happy?
I don't want to know.
I just got to know. Does she make you laugh? Does she make you cry? Does she scratch your back? Does she make you satisfied?
Oh, are you satisfied?
Does she know your past? Does she know your dreams? Would she give it all just to make you happy?
Oh, are you happy?
Are you happy without me? Are you happy?
Are you happy without me? Are you happy?
That's great as always, Mella.
You guys can pick up that track on sound.xyz. It is available today.
That's great as always, Mella.
You guys can pick up that track on sound.xyz. It is available today.
On sale. It's currently on sale.
Yeah, right. Currently on sale. Oh, God.
This is, you know, I'm going to play the other side of it where like this is like when the stores are like,
Oh, if you just buy this many, you will save this much money.
Because like one eath is still one eath, but but yeah, it's definitely on sale.
Yeah, love that, Mella.
Mella, what else you got? I feel like you get, you know, I feel like you got to have a song coming up.
You know, there's got to be something that you've got cooking in the background.
I kind of got used to your timetable where I was like, okay, you know, we're going here.
We drop one and here we drop one. I feel like, I feel like there's got to be something coming.
What do you got on the horizons?
Yeah, there's a lot, a lot going on in the background right now.
There is something coming soon. I'm not going to say what.
I'll just say there is something coming soon.
There might be something coming to the blockchain soon.
There is something coming to the blockchain soon.
Another song is coming.
I promise. So it'll be another opportunity for people to support and become a part of the Mellaverse and reap those rewards in the reward system.
And then also I'm going to be dropping some stuff on DSP soon.
If you don't know what that means, it's like Spotify, Apple Music, all of the major streaming platforms.
I will be dropping music there as well.
I'm really like hyper focused on recording still, like I'm still in the studio recording, but we're also practicing a shit ton because we have, you know, some stuff coming up live.
I've got, I think five shows coming up soon and then we're trying to book more for the summer.
So yeah, this year is just like a shit ton of live performance and it's not just me playing anymore.
I'm going to be playing with a band. I'm going to be playing with other people.
So that's crazy.
Like things are things are moving on up from LOB.
And I'm very excited.
So with that comes a lot of time just jamming and practicing because playing by yourself is one thing.
Getting everybody else on the same page.
Drums, bass, guitar, second guitar, like it's it's a lot.
So yeah, I we're trying to get everything worked out and ready.
So that way when we do have our opportunity to get because right now it's just me and Dakota, I guess like writing all the parts, you know, both in the studio and for the band.
And yeah, we're just trying to get everything tight.
So that way when we do get those other people involved, not going to say where and when, because that's a surprise.
But when those other people are involved, then it'll be super easy for us to to piece it all together.
So that's where I'm at right now.
That's awesome.
Can't wait.
I legit can't wait.
All right.
So let's let's let's check in on our list here.
And just a little bit.
You know where you're at.
And if I'd rotated you down, which I did rotate somebody down.
If you're still in here, I was trying to get Rocky up so that he could play a track.
But he's struggling.
So if I rotate you down and you're like, oh, no, I still want to share something else.
Come on back up.
Like it's no big deal.
Real quick.
I'm just going to step out.
I got to run.
Everybody for the space tonight.
It was amazing.
And I'll bring in.
I'll bring my next week.
Definitely do.
Thanks, Joseph.
Appreciate you.
All right.
So I've got I got Bobby.
I got Shane.
I got Lucius.
I got Krover.
I get casually.
And we're going to keep rolling right along.
Bobby, how you doing, man?
How you guys been?
It's been a while, I guess.
I'm not connected with y'all in spaces in a hot minute.
Yeah, we're doing good.
I missed last week.
I was really sick.
And I think, Mela, were you in the same week before that?
So like, yeah, I feel like we were off.
Yeah, we were off a week.
And then, you know, Mela hosted solo with a, well, I guess we were off.
We were off.
We were off.
We were off a week.
And then, you know, Mela hosted solo with a, well, I guess Rocky helped you
out, I think last week.
Excited to see you back here.
Thanks for coming through, dude.
Are you going to play something for us?
Are you just coming up to say what up?
I do have a sweet PSA, though.
Public service announcement.
I do have a sweet PSA, though.
Public service announcement.
This isn't for every artist, but like.
Y'all know how Joe Ryan is.
He plays a lot of dive bars, like show.
This is, we made this work very well for him.
We've been working on it for a long time.
Like Mel, you did a, we hopped on the zoom like six months ago or
something, and I was showing you some of this, but we have.
Basically gotten to the point with this alluvio company that they
flipped on our Apple TV access.
This is the first NFT that is on Apple TV and it's sick.
It's not available for purchase yet. So it's not a shell.
There's nothing to buy yet, but I pinned it to the top,
like a little video, just so that people can see what it is.
And I know this is a music space, but this is,
this is something that.
Web three musicians should be aware of because it's really a game
changer for Joe.
And I'll speak to his situation cause that's, you know,
I have experience with that.
So I can speak accurately to what he's doing,
but he has a bunch of video of like live performances of like,
you know, several variations of the same song that he's played at
multiple different venues and.
Shot in 4k and what we do.
And I think that's a good thing.
It's a good thing that we do a lot of videos of like,
you know, several variations of the same song that he's played at
multiple different venues and.
Shot in 4k and what we did was we packaged all these like video clips
of these different like, you know, songs from his different albums and.
Put it on here and it's basically like for, for him,
what's important is that if he's playing a show at a dive bar and
he has a little merch table,
he can have like CDs and stuff there and like actually like put food
on the table as a musician,
but with the SPs and things like that,
like that option has been diminished.
And so the solution that we found was he can have a QR code now
and just be like, you know, hey guys, you know,
I have a few digital album experiences out.
So if you want to like support me as an artist,
you can buy one of those.
Like you buy at the venue,
we'll give you a free t-shirt.
I don't know, but you scan this QR code,
you click, you know, sign,
sign up with Gmail or Apple ID.
Very easy for a person who's not web three.
You can check out with Apple pay or Google pay.
It's like literally double click the lock screen on your phone to pay.
And, you know, when you sign into the site,
you can download this app on Google Firestick Apple TV.
Most new smart TVs, you can download this media wallet app
and these people can pull it up and watch it.
And it's an NFT, but all the NFT stuff is hidden.
So it's not in competition with Ethereum or Ordinals
or any of the stuff out there.
It's just different.
It's for, you know, people that have family and friends
that have like wanted to support them as an artist,
but, you know, not necessarily capable of handling the process
to get Metamask or, you know, phantom wallet
and do all the things with the crypto.
Literally just pay with a credit card.
You like own it.
It's like attached to a wallet that's created for you.
All of the web three-ish things are buried.
But it is cool.
Like, you know, you can use your Apple TV remote
and sit on the couch
and we're going to embed Twitter spaces in it and stuff.
So, you know, you can watch, you know, hours of, you know,
video of you that you can actually live stream into it.
So like, you were doing some Zoom concerts, things like that.
We're just trying to make those things easier for web three musicians.
I just want to share that because like, this is a big deal.
Like Warner Brothers paid millions of dollars
to get this like Apple TV app up and running.
And I didn't think that they would allow a third party
to like utilize it, but, you know, they shouldn't work.
Like I have an NFT that I have on there.
And so, you know, by like March, I think we're going to,
Joe's going to like, you know, put it up for sale
to like mint or whatever.
But it's just really cool new technology
that I think people should be aware of.
And the people that have seen it are, they're like,
why don't like, why aren't people using this?
And it's different, you know, it's not in competition
with like what you've got going on on sound.xyz,
but it is another avenue for artists to, you know,
get paid for what they do.
Love it, Bobby.
Yeah, beautiful. Love it.
Thanks for the PSA.
I definitely want to hop on another call with you
so I can ask all the questions that I want to ask.
But yeah, like I have said from the start,
I am not only blockchain agnostic, I'm also platform agnostic.
It's not like I'm going to release every single one
of my music NFTs on sound.xyz.
I started there mainly because, you know,
like part of it is like a discovery thing
and sound.xyz seems to be the place that people
are actively discovering musicians in the NFT space.
So that's cool, that's a benefit.
But there are some, there's pros and cons to everything
and I'm not going to get into it.
I know Fondue and I could go off on a tangent here
about the pros and the cons, highlight, cock off the cons.
But yeah, I will let everybody know my next NFT
is not actually going to be released on sound.xyz.
It's going to be elsewhere and it's going to give,
you know, people an opportunity to support in different ways
and to be involved, you know, in the future.
I'm also going to be releasing on different blockchains.
So yeah, I think that's important to talk about
because something I've noticed in the NFT space
is I guess like people are feeling cornered
to the status quo sometimes.
People are feeling like they have to do things
a certain way because that's what everybody else is doing.
And I kind of want to break that down
and just say do what you want to do,
do what feels right for you.
If that means you want to release a different song
on every single blockchain,
a different song on every single platform,
I think that's awesome.
I think that's a great way to diversify yourself as an artist, right?
Just like we diversify our portfolios,
we need to diversify ourselves as artists as well.
And that's why I still release my music on DSPs,
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, et cetera,
is because it's all about diversification for me.
So yeah, thank you for bringing that up.
Thanks for the PSA.
I definitely need your calendly so I can book a call with you.
Yeah, let's definitely do it.
And last thing I want to say is like you're so right.
And it's kind of like the 80-20 rule.
Like 80% of the people that follow you
are going to basically, you know,
listen for free and are only contributing about 20%.
But there's 20% of the people that like you
that are going to contribute 80% to your business.
And so like we accepted that and it's like,
yeah, you know, there's stuff out all over the place.
We just wanted to capture as much as we can
and provide people with a way to like support.
And this is just another avenue.
And basically because it has blockchain,
it's technically an NFT, it has blockchain abilities.
There's a lot of things that can be done like token gating and such.
And so like people, artists that want to do cross chain type stuff,
like for Joes, we're probably going to like, you know,
give a free one to the people that have like a, you know,
collection of his, like they meet certain criteria.
So it's not necessarily going to compete with other collections,
but it's basically, I've talked to a few other people.
Shout out to Sima down down.
I saw him, see him down there.
We've talked to other people that are on all kinds of different chains
that are going to basically use this as like something that you get.
Like if you meant something on OpenSea,
then like you might get an airdrop of this
or you might get it like 90% off or something.
So I think more people should be open minded to coordinating
like cross chain type stuff because it's just really cool
that if you can like, you know, experience your, you know,
music and like you said, not be pigeonholed into a particular chain
because that's just silly.
Absolutely. Absolutely agree.
Cool. Thank you so much.
I appreciate you coming through.
This is what Pimp Radio is all about.
And I encourage, you know, not to blow up your DMs,
but I encourage people to reach out to Bobby
if you have questions on this.
Oh, blow it up. Blow me up.
Yeah, there we go.
I should have asked for your permission in the back end,
but blow up his DMs.
He wants the questions.
He's passionate, one of the most passionate people
in the space that I've ever met, actually.
So he's passionate about what he does.
He is willing to help.
So take advantage of that.
Yeah, one of the things last night,
Mela had Jaden's interview with Jaden Violet.
So he was doing the Rocky 2 Grammy radio show.
And one of the things he was mentioning is, like,
not even his focus on Web3,
but his focus on just being an artist out there
through, like, TikTok, Instagram,
you know, just any outlet possible,
YouTube, Spotify, everywhere.
Because at the end of the day,
I think one of the pitfalls
of kind of either pigeonholing yourself into a blockchain
or whether it's like multi-blockchains
or just the blockchain in general,
when the market goes down or gas goes up,
you're literally putting yourself against
one of the most challenging things,
even though certain chains are, you know,
cost-effective on the gas.
When the market, you know, goes down,
you can see lols,
and you can often use these other outlets
as a way to keep momentum, if that makes sense.
We're literally putting, sorry,
I know I said this, that was the last one.
This is really the last thing.
We're putting literally buy buttons
to Joe's Ethereum collections on OpenSea
inside the Alluvio NFT.
It's just a funnel. It's marketing.
It's all about the funnel.
I love that you just said funnel.
I just did, like, a conference
and we talked a lot about funnels.
Did any of them involve cakes?
Because I do like a good funnel cake.
Oh, I fucking love funnel cake.
Yeah, don't say that.
It's not to eat sugar right now.
I forgot.
I'm in a room full of stoners right now.
My bad, guys.
I didn't mean to set you off.
Let's keep it moving right along.
We got Shane up next.
Shane, how are you?
Thanks for being here.
Thanks for being patient.
Hey, yeah.
No problem.
I'm always patient.
I'm always playing guitar in the background,
right on me, right on me at all times.
But, yeah, I just wanted to go up, say hi,
and say that I have a deep dive interview.
NFT, AUK, radio, and cryptotherapist,
aka, what's his name?
Gosh, darn it.
Oh, that's Kirk.
That's Kirk.
Yeah, Kirk DeSoto.
They're going to be doing a deep dive on me on Friday
in the AM.
So if you're able to make it, that's fine.
If I know how the space goes and how much degenning we do.
So if you're not able to make it, that's fine as well.
But I just wanted to come up and kind of advertise that
a little bit.
Let's get some people in that space.
You know me, I'm kind of a character.
So it could very well be a very fun time.
I'll probably be playing some music as well.
It'll definitely be a fun time.
Yeah, I'd say almost always I make it to Kirk's space
on Friday mornings.
It's a good time for me.
And, yeah, it's always a good time.
They're a good host, so that'll be fun.
You got a track for us tonight?
Sure, sure.
Like I said, my guitar's always on me.
Or close, at least.
As long as it has all the strings on it.
Sure, yeah, I'll play a one that I've been playing
quite a bit recently.
It's about everyone kind of falls down on their ass
every once in a while, right?
You know, and you got to kind of pick yourself up,
dust yourself off, and get the fuck back moving again.
And I know that we've all kind of experienced that
within the crypto space that we live in.
So I think this song's appropriate.
It's called Fighting Back.
The road is not winding, and the sky is not falling,
but you can't tell by that look on your face.
You already saw a road where ever you may break
enough to this world that you hate.
Come on, have you ever thought about fighting back,
taking a stand, turning around?
Let me help.
Oh, grab my hand.
Together we can lift you off this ground.
Together we can lift you off this ground.
Oh, no, no, because I dropped you off on this island.
No hope of rescuing you except for fool's wish.
Fool's teeth are waiting for me to come a large file.
Roll the light that's shining through.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
Oh, the wall of darkness spread by you.
Follow it to the very end and welcome back.
Welcome back to this life you were meant.
You were meant, you were meant to begin.
You were meant, you were meant to begin.
Fighting back, though.
I swear that song's different every time I sing it,
but that's what makes it fun, right?
Well, that's the live performance experience.
I tell people that all the time.
I used to get complaints from, not from fans,
but complaints from friends who thought that it was their job
to be critical of what I was doing.
And they'd be like, oh, you know you don't sing this
the same every time.
And it's like, yeah, no, I know.
I'm fucking aware.
I'm quite aware.
And that's what it's like every time.
Sometimes you just fuck up, you know?
And then you gotta, and then you gotta...
You gotta roll with that, bro.
Well, you're gonna laugh at my term here,
but you gotta rectify the situation quickly and on the fly.
So, you know, as a musician, you learn that.
You gotta recover.
Yeah, yeah, you just learn how to do it.
And for some reason, it works for some people.
You know, Ben, the other thing is like,
so there's this thing called jam bands
and they've got a huge part of like the music evolution,
like since forever.
And they just get up on stage and never like the dead fish
or like Dave Matthews even to an extent.
But like, there's a bunch of bands that just like
every song is different every time, but the same.
Yeah, one of my favorite musicians of all time
is Trey Anastasio from Fish.
From Fish, yeah.
Yes, he's not that great of a vocal talent,
but I mean, he is in his own right.
But the way that he can riff and jam band his way
through the sessions is very, very, very impressive.
As are you.
Love it, love it.
Well, I appreciate you, Shane.
Stick around.
You know, I'd love, I know you got lots of tracks.
I am wondering, and you don't have to answer now,
but, you know, we've talked lots about you relaunching
one of your songs.
Let's not do that right now.
We're not going to fight for you.
I'm going to do it.
You know what?
I'm going to do it for you every week, though,
until you are like, yes, yes, I have one that's relaunched.
Fine, fair.
No, you know, I'm just giving you a hard time.
All right, let's keep her moving.
Let's go to my guy, Lucius.
Lucius, do you want to tell us a little bit about this song
before we play it?
And I do want a full disclosure for everybody.
It's a longer track, so I'm not going to play all of it.
Me and Lucius have talked in the background,
but I am going to get them to post the link,
but we're going to do a full disclosure.
And I'm going to do a full disclosure for you.
I'm going to add to that situation.
Jigsaw loves to make like eight to 10 minute songs.
And he's like, he's like, yeah, you know, don't, he's like, don't,
you know, don't play the whole thing.
It's better to hear it anyway, on good speakers and whatnot.
But yeah, Lucius, you want to tell us anything about this track?
always glad to see some familiar faces here. This is from my project called the ex-Animo
film music project and it's still in the works. I've worked on it for probably too long to
do finish it like I want. So I wrote this piece of music and had variations of, so this is
the second movement to Nocturne, which the the first one is kind of like a Chet Bakerish
Bill Evans style solo piano and you've played it on this space a couple of times and maybe
in some of your other spaces. So this is the second movement. It is a swing jazz version
with a I'm I'm I have a percussive loop that I played on drums and then on stand up bass
acoustic bass. And so I'm playing both of those and then I'm riding over the track on piano.
So kind of a traditional style you know eight track recording on hardware and this was done
on a roll-in electronic. It's the one I have in my in my storage unit. So I hope you guys
like it. It kind of there's three sections of it. So it goes into being about seven seven
minutes over seven minutes into eight and so there's an intro and then there's the middle
section the solo and an outro. So whatever you feel comfortable playing it gets it kind
of gets all over the place. It's it's in the key of F minor. So F minor a lot of like what
Duke Ellington and Chopin use F minor too because it's the it's the lowest bass note that you
can do the big drops on when you when you put two tones together like like like C and
D sharp together and then F and then you know G sharp all those notes in that in that pattern.
So yeah without further ado please yeah one do take it away. Yeah let's roll.
I felt like I was listening or watching I felt like I was like I was watching a pink
panther episode there. Yeah and you know definitely go it loses. Make sure you post that link up
in the Jumbotron and down in the comments if you haven't already. I think you already
posted in the comments. It's in the Jumbotron. Yeah it's up top. I actually wanted to pin
it up top and I've been like two things up and then I realized he already pinned it up
and I was like damn he already got it up there. He's efficient. But you know that was that
just made me feel you know that so we have 88.3 out here in San Diego and they do jazz
and it's like they used to it was publicly funded but now they don't get the funding
anymore and yeah that was like totally what I used to listen to on the way into work in
the morning and stuff like just Duke Ellington Sinatra and and the other thing that sucks
right now is like I know Lucius in a couple of the spaces I've been in Lucius I do not
tell people up to the stage ever. So that's always the other people that I may be up here
with but on a life's a joke radio I know you're trying to come up to the stage a bunch
but they were doing the interview but you know I really wish I heard that last night
as well. But man that was fire absolute fire and you did everything from the bass
to the keys to the so the comp is like sheesh. Well and I'll say to you I don't
know how much of the bass feel really came through you know we all know how
Twitter spaces is so definitely go bookmark that video and listen to it
through some good headphones or some good speakers because yeah that was just that
was definitely a vibe. I'm glad you were finally able to get some long form and
I know like I said I'd like and you know almost eight minutes I'm not gonna do
it to everybody straight through but yeah it's definitely it's worth going to
listen to you guys very very very high quality I'm glad I can't lose you I
can't wait to get some things done with you finally you know I feel like I feel
like we're almost there. We will and I'll probably I probably will be back
through Colorado this summer. I don't know if you guys know AJ but I'm thinking
about going up to Lake Powell for part of the spring into the into the
hot summer months and then I'll probably be through over there and
tell you right area tell you right and I visit there once a year at least so
thank you for the mic and love your space as always Mela and all of you very
talented people it's very humbling being in the space with you guys it's
really dope. Lucius thank you for coming thank you for blessing us with your
beautiful music. I can't wait to work with you one day to be honest I got a
bunch of shit I gotta send you but I know that that time can't come yet so you
let me know. Yeah I appreciate you always being here to support Lucius let's keep
it moving right along up next we got our guy Krover, Krover what's up my guy? Yo
what's up guys how's it going that last performance is really dope and and I
also got to give it up to Shane because I don't think I've ever heard you play
guitar and do your thing before man so kudos to you that was amazing for sure
for sure. Mela as always here dope as hell so I've been working on something
and another oops another something in the background lately and as like
everything all my shit is unreleased so I just be playing hard to get with it
all at this point but for good reason I got a lot of cool things coming from my
music so I just kind of want to make sure I fine-tune everything before I
really do it all. Don't mind me I'm sick as hell I probably sound like a fucking
dog however this is something new I've been working on no Stormy please you
were just sleeping give me 20 seconds and I swear to God you could go crazy
and all you want damn it's like every time I open my mic it's either hash brown
or Stormy yeah good girl want to go downstairs for a sec. Careful Krover
Fondu gets sick very quickly so he could possibly come get sick again I
don't know what the hell is rolling on I rarely get sick one time a year like barely
get sick and now I got sick three times in six months I don't know what's
going on here but it's not cool send help anyways I just want to be able to
see if you guys could hear this can you guys hear me okay like over the music
When I lost it all I got it back I need no Velcro and I gotta scrap my life to the
pop but I'm still intact stay true to my own never stressing that I get true to
the game when I'm off the bat y'all lying on the beat homie that's a fact time on
bars I ain't getting back maybe grind so hard till I get that check like fuck it I
need it all like who buys things is to get it gone if you never seen the thing
when the masses on y'all never seen a thing when the masses off I get dibs of
love like every day so many ways to get it you can pick a way though I might
yeah that was absolutely fire thank you different than what you usually come here
with but I'm about it cuz that was sick was it okay so like buddy sent me this
and I wasn't sure whether or not he wanted to be redo the hook and I was
like cable what is the fucking hook even saying and then he hit me back with the
lyrics on and I was like okay and then like I had this verse that I had already
and then so I threw it to this cuz it kind of fit to it did it sound decent
yeah I really liked it I just think there could be some times where I'm
where they do like the production I imagine it going like my vocals going
like really high-pitched almost like whoa whoa whoa and then whoa and then
kind of just matching the style of the song as I'm doing my part and I just
thought in my mind that would sound fucking ridiculous but I'm having a lot
of fun creating styles of tracks like this this is my second attempt at
somewhat of an EDM style trackie the other one that I have pieces is really
dope and that one's completed almost already I just got to do my my vocals
on it and get it sent out but uh this is another one and I'm really stoked on
this on this one sounds like it's really fucking fire so I just sent it
so this might be the only time you actually ever hear that and then I'm
gonna let him decide whether or not that's what he wanted on something like
that or I redo it and then we figure it out from there but yeah I've been
having a lot of fun making different styles in genres of tracks you guys
usually hear me spit some like hip-hop shit or whatever it may be but I've
been kind of branching off into all different styles I got some other beats
from some people in these spaces that are more like poppy and like like more
of like a pop rap style and just like some really dope shit that's coming I got
a lot that I've been sitting on that I haven't even shared yet but I kind of
been keeping that tight-knit to me so yeah I just thank you for letting me
share I'm gonna probably sit back for a little bit and hang out probably in
the listeners and then yeah I appreciate you guys letting me come and share
today thanks for coming and supporting Krover thanks for always being here
I mean you're here every morning we appreciate you and yeah that was I
I mean this is again this is this space right where we all get to kind of make
any of the music that we want to make it doesn't matter the genre and so yeah I
yeah I dug that was awesome yeah we got we got casually my guy haven't seen you
here in a minute how are you what's up what's Gucci I'm well how are you it's
good to be here a lot of great music being played it's been great tonight I
fucking love mela song like that's that's the one I don't know who muted me
when I was hard to sing it rude cuz you gotta let me hit them notes at least one
time um Krover I appreciate how like you're way of those bro just like be
like I like your fearlessness like you don't give a fuck like you just be
making music do whatever like I'm really with that your cat gets on my nerves
stormy and shit oh my god don't give me I got a spoken word piece for y'all
tonight I'm not gonna play music I'm gonna do a live spoke something I was
working on called it was ironically I believe Shane's was called fight back
maybe what was yours called Shane fight back fight back yeah yeah fighting back
yeah this titled fight ironically so I don't know I guess that's the theme of
the night if you just give me a second here I just ran out of breath for some
reason I was sanding wood and like you know when like you're almost done with
the piece right when you really got to go but like you've got to finish that
fucking board you know what I'm saying so like like I mean like I was really
getting after it like my spliff here take this I might do smoke with me you
know I mean all right I say like this I say most of the time when I start to
rhyme and begins with intellect but slowly it starts to intersect with
aggression and relentless interest on some shit I've seen on the internet
please don't disconnect I tolerate no disrespect because a different side of me
might interject and I'll take you to the darkest part of the deepest depths where
even the sharks show me my respect I've been correct I'm thin to flex I'll take
fins to next you better swim correct in the dark blue sea where the shipwreck
part of my mind loads up cannons ready for war at the drop of a dime respect
has been a problem for me in my time historically showing a rebellious grind
always against those trying to show me the light I fight because that's all I
know is fight wrong or right for better or worse so I usually would have put
myself first selfishness might be the curse but now rewind to the work and the
respect that I earn and that was returned in kind powerfully aligned the
paradigm inside that grew my mind introverted but inclined heartbroken
emotions I left unspoken alone and changed smoking hoping the beast inside
me ain't real woke in my fire continued to burn glowing so in conclusion let me
wipe all these illusions I'll be bruising and breaking necks on these
broke-dick wannabes they end up with the contusions I'm not here for the pollution
I'm here to create solutions with absolution no room for intrusion the
young padawan is learning and improving I'm grooving but today we break bread
like communion for pimp radio plug your music please the collective we cruising
I'm crypto casually I'm me present and all-consuming was Gucci beautiful as
always but that one I mean delivery wise I think that might be my favorite that
I've ever heard from you oh shit thank you that's really cool
not when expecting that look you know I mean it was perfectly tied to for just
title fight and his emotion through it and like I don't know it was like it was
genuine I don't know it was just I don't know it was just that was
crypto casually what up crypto casually has been a bit of man I do is the bear
market I don't want to be here yeah whatever good to see you yeah man
appreciate you coming cash yeah I mean I I feel like you've got such a good
balance in your in your repertoire you know between music and poetry I really
like that I don't always know what we're gonna get from you it's really
awesome you know if you have I feel like you have a few drops that are out so if
you want to if you want to plug any of them up in the jumbotron and down in the
comments me and definitely do and I encourage everybody to go check them out
I'll wait my turn for the second time around if I play if I play the music
I'll throw them up there when I do that I'll stick around till then okay yeah
as soon as sounds good sounds good man appreciate you all right let's let's
keep on rolling I got my guy rocky to grimey he finally figured out how to get
out of the the spinning wheel metaverse and onto the stage even though he thinks
that he was on the stage twice and somebody booted him down but the truth
is he just got crap internet he needs to get out of the McDonald's Wi-Fi zone
Jesus first of all first of all listen I'm gonna stop you right there this
is this is this is where this is where you got me fucked up fonduto because
look yeah I was okay with everything else you got his clown you will you will
never catch me near him no McDonald's you'll never find me near a McDonald's
okay that's why you mad at McDonald's no no see I knew it listen guys guys if
you think that I don't know how to rile rocky up like I do I know
McDonald's is his least favorite fast food restaurant that ever existed the only way I
would have gotten them more riled up is if I told him that I just ordered ten
bacon egg and cheeseburgers with with mayo with extra mayo or if you did
something first right that he thought he was gonna do first you know you're
making me hungry see I listen like I said I know how to rile my guy anyway
no no let's not it's let's not get lost in McDonald's I'm sorry guys I was
just trying to I was just trying to mess with rocky a little bit I could fuck up
a 10-piece nugget right now though I'm not gonna lie you know mela do Wendy's
Wendy's instead I was gonna say I'd go to Wendy's over over McDonald's for the
next stop eating McDonald's we just mess with you I would get a 10-piece
nugget McDonald's today how about you help us do better rocky and you tell us
what song you're gonna play tonight because that'll definitely help us do
better well listen I don't know if you you checked your text message or not but
I didn't I'm very indecisive so I just sent you a nice little email with a
bunch of random songs you have access to some rocky catalog here and I'm gonna let
you pick what you want to do whatever you want to play I'll give you the
context of the song before you play whichever one you pick but yeah I just
sent you a quiet tell us about tell us about addicted because that's that's the
one I'm gonna choose I was gonna I was gonna mess with you again and I was
gonna play Coco pebbles which is not in this email but I send it to you right
now no no I have it already oh don't worry cash I'm just not gonna do it to
my guy I feel like I've done it where I've just been like oh I'm gonna play a
rocky track and he didn't expect me to play Coco pebbles and he forgets that I
have it yeah tell us about addicted and then I'm gonna cue that up I cool
addicted was actually the second R&B song I've ever written in my life and
it was the first original R&B song that I ever wrote in my life it's off my second
album so it is on all platforms right now that's on the album is before I get
signed reloaded so it is a track on there I recorded this when I was like 16
so yeah this is definitely baby rocky right here I love it I didn't even know
that I chose that you know I always try to go back with rocky rocky I sent you
since you catalog man you got stuff to choose from now I see that I see that
alright well here we go this is addicted rocky
like a chill like a chill wait I mean
you know it's funny I kept waiting for Justin Timberlake to come in because I
feel like that's a that's a JT vibe right there it makes sense yeah and that
was around you know around the time that I did that I think he had just put
out no that was like right before his second album so yeah y'all know the
influence there the influence there is actually timberland who at the same
time he produced one Republic at that time right he made he blew up one
Republic because they had a million views on my space I don't know how old you are
bro I don't I don't know but timberland was in the industry at the time and
yeah like JT if I gave you a symphony whatever that record was that was that
was timberland you I mean your record sounds up there man with them I love it I
love that 16 you said you were 16 when you made that record yeah that was so
that was my my first attempt that writing an R&B record well my my second
attempt but my first original I wrote a song my first army song ever was a cover
of a neo song I did a song over his sexy love song and just like wrote something
different using his structure and this was the second song that I wrote to an
original beat so the producer back then I don't remember his name the guy that
produced it but yeah he had like a lot of like timberland sounding stuff so I
definitely see the comparison with that no it was that was great Rocky I love I
mean I love how versatile you are lots of stuff I feel I hope see like I hope I
was just telling I mean I was in oh I guess I was in your space telling Jayden
this I hope you revisit some of these records and try to recreate some of
them because I'd be really interested to see what some of these records would be
now like with your experience now with your knowledge now like with kind of
where you are where you're at I think you've got I think you've got some gems
back there that you could you could bring back get the album wait wait for
the album that's all I'm gonna say all right I like it I like it so next I
got I got Jonathan in danger on the list but I want to say hi to Festi's
which I believe Sima is the one who's behind the account right now so I want to
say hi to him lies all lies hi but can I can I come back after one of these guys
I'm gonna come back well I mean not just let one of them go in front of me
this fucking music yeah yeah that's fine so we'll roll right over to Jonathan
and then if Sima is still slack him we'll go to danger and if we get to
danger and Sima is still not ready we get to the end of that I'm gonna play a
song and and I'm gonna just make Sima wait because you know he's making me
wait so John as long as I get to hear you play and these guys play I'm down
for that okay just kidding and I'm not playing any fun do real real quick and
then I hate to interrupt and let you get back to it but Mela I know when we
scheduled this together you you specifically told me the time slot that
it was gonna be in and I unfortunately I cannot obligate myself past this point
in the space because I must put my son to bed that is but you know what you
don't have to send me any of the bulk that you're gonna send me for the space
it's cool but yeah I just I had a blast everyone who performed tonight and
showed us their music amazing Lucius you know like you stood out just because
typically it's not something you're gonna hear in a space and so I feel like
it's it's definitely something memorable in every space that you jump in and you
know casually with the spoken word thank you so much man thank you really you know
I'm worried thank you so much now I'm beyond kind words it's like it's it's
like when you hear someone sing like gospel or like symphony I don't know
it's just something way different that you're not used to hearing in spaces so
that was just really stood out and rocky little rocky at 16 there was like
16 years ago Jesus man yo that was like you had more emotion back then than you
do now man but no I love you in mela you're this frog
get my son to the peace out everybody enjoy the evening good night audio thanks
thanks audio thanks for co-hosting remember to clock out so that way payroll
doesn't get messed up okay absolutely I got you but the stick still so like when
we put that I'll DM you I wish that I wish that I could I could reenact
the DM that me and audio like we had this DM chain going last night during
rocky space that was the funniest I mean I was I was a little lit right like I
had my it was so unprofessional I have my Tuesday night wine space and and it
was the I mean I didn't stop laughing for like an hour and we were sure rocky
was gonna block us both at the end of it but yeah great to see you audio
thanks for co-hosting and you know enjoy the rest of your night let's go to
Jonathan Jonathan we're back and what's up guys I'm just talking to melody in
the discord right now you're not because you're not there I'm not talking
about you specifically but all of you other people who are not in the
discord what's wrong with you it's so much fun in there so I'm going to do a
rap and it's funny we've been we've been having a theme of fighting right now and
you know thought fighting is bad but my song is the first verse the first part of
it's got a little bit of a fight theme too and so this is uh yeah man I'm
getting nervous don't you know like I've as much as I have done this like I
still get nervous ever right before like my tight my chest tightens up I
flip-flopped my words and I've been sitting here rehearsing this pretty much
since I played my last song so with that I should probably have been vamping
over this part because the intro is really long and shout out to des K beats
on YouTube who is doing this beat right now and I didn't license it so I got to
give him credit six point three million views maybe you've heard this
one before this song I I've titled taken a lot I hope you enjoy it yeah dude I've
taken a lot knock to the bottom and back to the top but now I don't give it a
thought and take them a shot serve it up cold or red hot leave it or take it
yeah that's what I thought is that all I got some please this is the part where
I mention your knees kapeesh I got a million of these slicing it thinner than
provolone cheese burning hotter with no any freeze heard what I said do I need
to say please making it better than carrots and peas scam it faster with no
enough teas spam the space with more emojis writing these songs I'm getting
hungry this is the part where I get a snack this is the part where I think I
can rap and try to rap better than him I did not forget about him he's one of
the best and I am truly blessed and now that's off my chest I'll tell you all
the rest listen up because it's a hottest fucking mess I grew up on the
wrong side the wrong side of the tracks I had it hard as a smart kid which
honestly sounds whack I stuffed myself in lockers to try to hide the pain of it
try and make them laugh maybe they won't smash my brain to shit well dude I'm
killing it invoicing it then billing it erasing debt then chilling it Ramsey
snow skin is peeling it can't keep me down like whack-a-mole or crooks is man
I split my soul my boxers they might have a hole I like butter on a dinner roll
because motherfucking carbs every day I'm getting older everybody seeming colder
something's working underneath the fabric of our own reality dismantling
society destroying what we thought was free do you hear the rage against the
machine boiling inside of me is this the world we live in now antibiotics
inner cows just empty words and sacred vows should be raising more eyebrows
we're dead and medicated cruising through life while sedated eating
Soylent green and campus clinkin dudes think they're menstruating yet baby
Austin powers after evil would tell us our sharks don't have lasers but
they're coming sooner than later we got de dub warfare in the holy Middle East
we're living revelation and I'm Jonathan the fucking beast and this is
the part where I fade out the phone I thought I clapped over and you know
we've had people like talking as a part of their songs like Shane is Shane
is a classic one with the with the rug song that always gets me he's like wait
am I rugged and then he's back in it so you almost got me there Jonathan well I
need to like cut the beat and I should probably give this guy some money and
and license it and you know actually make it a track but I'm just playing off
YouTube and and it's a three and a half minute beat and my songs only two
minutes so you know I got to do something besides just hit the hard mute
button I mean you could you could write another another minute oh I could but you
know I'm thinking like with our attention span these days and and I'm just
speaking from my experience creating content not only music but I think I
think we're moving towards shorter songs and I think we've seen this with oh god
was it who who was it that did it first I don't even want to name the name
but ASAP ASAP Rocky comes to mind but someone you know started putting out
really short songs minute to two minutes and everyone's like what are you talking
about you know like song supposed to be three to four minutes you know five
minutes if you want to make a long song and or you know fucking 13 minutes
like Lucius over here which that was awesome dude I love that love that but
I think making shorter songs like maxing out at two two and a half minutes one
a lot of people aren't doing it and it almost kind of helps people hear most of
your music so that's kind of where I'm leaving you know leaning towards I could
write another verse but I don't know to me the song is done well I can
appreciate that yeah I'm the opposite I'm the I'm the rage against the machine
for it for the full length song still yeah I think I don't know personal
reference me too but you know trying to get music out there fuck those people
they make whatever music you want to make don't worry about these people that's
if that's the only I mean that's the only thing I could say I understand where
you're coming from but yeah I'm like no fuck those people they don't want to
listen to my three-minute song and you know two minutes is their number well
fuck them yeah I don't care appreciate you Jonathan let's see if Estes if
Estes Sima checking in with Sima are you ready or do you need another song to get
you well first I just want to say hi what's up L.D. what's up Rocky what's up
Fondue Sima what's up what's up we are chillin I was wondering I don't you know
I don't do music but I was wondering if I could possibly pimp the new collection
out as I do it really quickly I'd love to pimp that which is actually I was
actually going to ask you to so please do oh very nice of you thank you though
appreciate you I'll pull a music on the background so it's not my boring voice by
itself I am NOT gonna sing or anything I just like music so all right guys I want
to tell you a little bit about the Festi so this is something Sima downs are
working on and it's gonna come about shoot my thing of course does hold on
one second I love being prepared so we're launching the Festi Festi is a
unique collection of 5,000 entities launching on Solana blockchain each

more exciting is our collaboration with talented and passionate artist known as

troop 2025 his work his work is very cool fucking I mean he's just so dedicated
and passionate I'm so happy to be working with him he's becoming even a
good friend the collection is full of diverse characters and stunning 8k quality
but that's not all we're gonna be owning a Festi also means you'll be
joining a community of buzzing artists collaborations including exec exclusive
airdrops unique experiences I will be kicking off a marathon online with the
music festival from March 28th through the 31st and I'll be on Twitter here
you guys could definitely join in and hopefully some of you guys even be part
of that I'll be a three-day long fun adventure of music and like giveaways
and all kinds of cool stuff we'll be doing campfire sessions at night and
all that great stuff yeah this project is really close to my heart super
passionate about it it's definitely the thing that's gonna help Simba down get
to the next level and and bring our initiatives to life which we were working
hard on in the background like the events that we're putting together the
festival we have coming in May and all the other great things we're working on
like the Simba bus and yeah so that's the Festi's man I hope you guys can tap
in we're actually gonna be collaborating with a ton of awesome artists probably a
bunch of them that you already know even this little guy these two guys up
on stage the co-hosts here already been talking to them about joining this and
I'm hoping we find a lot more collaborations in it to come so yeah
thanks for giving me a moment and mela big take it away it's your space thank
you thank you Simba for always always coming out and supporting you know I
just wanted to say that now I can give it to mela yeah man thank you sorry
Dakota's in the background playing guitar I'm finally fun do I had so much
fun playing all those commercials in your wine space yesterday that was so much
fun definitely tap in guys it's an awesome place to chill was that
Tuesdays yeah yeah yeah a Tuesday Tuesday nights right now it's been seven
seven Eastern the time and day could change but right now right now it's
been working you know it's a yeah it's a great time I appreciate that way we
definitely had some good laughs last night yeah it was enjoyable quite quite
enjoyable sir yeah well yes Emma please post up at the top and in the comments
that way everybody can you know go have a thorough look all right absolutely
thank you Mel I'll do that all right so I've got we got some new people on the
stage originally we were doing hands but I've just started adding you guys to
the queue in the order that you came up to the stage so I just know that I got
you and then if anybody else wants to get back in the queue just just let me
know and we'll cycle back through for sure what I'm probably gonna do is I'm
gonna go to danger and then I'm gonna play a song and then I got mindset BP and
Mitch on deck after that and yeah danger how are you well welcome I feel
like it's been a couple weeks for me because I missed last week and then
Mellow was off last week the week before that so it's been a while I feel like
it's been a couple weeks for me too because last week like literally 10
minutes before I was gonna hit the request button my phone died cuz I well
it crapped out cuz I dropped it at Home Depot and the screen cracked and so I
got it back home and I was like oh maybe I can be on spaces and it's like
literally 10 minutes before I was listening to a metal space and just the
screen just went gray so it's just like so yeah it's been a couple weeks for me
too but it's yeah but I'm back I've got a new phone and yeah I just wanted to
play you guys a song that I wrote and I just want to shout out to Lucius man that
song was awesome you had me like just oh it was gorgeous man keep it up then
everybody out here just so freakin talented it's I've said it before and
I'll say it again it's so easy to be inspired when you come to spaces like
this because there's just so much talent it's just it's incredible it's just a
melting pot of amazing musicians and artists and singers and poets and
spoken-word artists it's just it's awesome and I love it and it's an
honor to be here and thank you so much Mel for putting this on and Fondue
for co-hosting and Rocky to your co-host now which is dope so yeah I'm
just gonna play you a song I wrote it's called her own games it's a little
little heavier but I don't know it's a fun one to play for me so I hope you
when she found me I was face down and out she lifted my head with her hand she
cried my darling wants me come all to you cuz I know there's so much more to
you man I didn't think I matter that she never really seemed to care cuz she was
always just playing her own games I didn't know that I was her fire and she
always held my flame
well she rescued me and nursed me back to myself but I'll never forget what she
said when she sent me away oh she told me honey you bling it here just long
enough for now go and become who you're supposed to be
I didn't think I matter that you never really seem to care oh but she was
always playing her own games and you know we found that fire and we'll always share that flame
she'll always be there for me at the end of the line no matter what any odds may curse may say
cuz when I love her she is mine at the end of every single day
I didn't think I matter that she never really seemed to care cuz she was always just playing her own games I didn't know that
I was her fire and she always held my flame I didn't think I matter that you never really seemed to care oh but she was always playing her own games and you know we found that fire
and we'll always share that flame
that was crazy bro sorry to not jump in front of the host but that was literally like insane
that was original yeah dude you are fucking insane bro that was crazy that's so good
danger yeah danger the the passion man yeah just absolutely fantastic I think
mela wanted to chime in too oh shit I get a phone call what hi no I I'm trying to
get a doctor my heart has melted and I have no well thank you so much thank you
guys very much like like I said it's it's not hard to be inspired when you
got so much talent in the room it's just it's awesome and I owe it to you
guys for putting on the space mel and fondue and rocky and auto automatic there
like I owe it to you guys for being able to put my stuff out here like this and
like I've never done it before it's all new to me and it's just it's so much fun
and there's yeah it's just good love it I find it hard to believe that you've
never done it before and this is new to you because it's it's just incredible
you're I don't know you leave me speechless every time you come up here
and perform seriously I was gonna ask you that was my question was like do you
perform live I've done like I don't know I've performed it like like like family
functions and socials and like I don't know I've never like I've done a couple
open mic nights and stuff but I've never actually like I don't know I used to
sing I used well I guess uncomfortable with crowds and singing in front of
people because when I was a kid I would sing in the choir and church I would be
in front of like you know three four hundred people singing and it's just
kind of like well this is what you do every Sunday you know so but I've never
really like tried to take my music and put it out there for anyone really to
hear so this is yeah that's wild go do your own tour and you'd kill it do you
mind me asking where you're from I'm from Manitoba Canada oh my god let's
go let's do together I mean we have we have a few in the web3 space but like
when I I don't know like I try to meet my local friends here and it's just it's
hard to find so you're in California right no man I wish oh I'm in Ontario oh
snap really wow oh my god you are like a stone's throw from lake of the woods
aren't you
at least half a dozen and then like I don't know I've got a pile of covers so
awesome love this well we're gonna have to connect I would love to play with you
for sure that would be dope I would love it did you say you've never
recorded anything no like I've recorded it on my home computer but I've never
done it like in a pro studio or whatever like I've got I've got a decent
recording system at home but it's not like high-tech BP don't you just want to
like just hit me up man let's have let's have a chat sometime let's let me help
me just talk to you for a bit BP is not going to bite he's like a crazy talented
musician himself so definitely connect with him okay well I just followed him so
yeah it's it's on come bring your music to deep notes on Friday also buddy I
like it it's awesome brother oh sure and fondue I'm sorry I missed Tuesday man
that sounded like a hell of a space I wish I was there life's a joke radio
we're back baby no he ain't talking about life's a joke bro he's talking
about rhythm and wine radio I forgot the place that you were at so you could be
completely fucked up for my show you know what if you guys want to know
something really funny rocky seems to think it's a good idea to have me
co-host on a regular basis or at least audio thought it was a good idea to add
me to the flyer for next week despite the fact that I was definitely hammered by
the time I got to rocky space so I can just tell you it's gonna Tuesday nights
are gonna be a party they're gonna be a party and I don't know if Rocky's
gonna love that or not yet but listen I'm gonna tell you right now go to fun
doodle space you know to see the before and come to my space to see the
after yeah I mean I thought I did a good job asking good questions despite
being really hammered and the only thing the only thing I was incapable of
doing is by the end of the night I was not able to play anything like you wanted
me to play a song on the guitar I was like yeah I'm like no I'm horizontal on
the couch right now yeah danger man keep coming back and and please like on
Tuesdays even you're welcome to come share I mean I always tell people like
my Tuesday night space is definitely not like music share centric space like
especially people that I've hung with in spaces like I'm pretty loosey-goosey
with that rule you know it's like we're there to hang and review wine I see my
my co-host Kara down there you know shout out to her but yeah you're
you're welcome to come share man and anytime I love that that song was
absolutely it was fucking awesome thank you so much guys all uh oh yeah I'll
drop back down so you can make some people I mean you can hang out if you
want we got it we got oh yeah we're in good shape tonight everybody's
everybody's chilling and listening so I'm gonna take this little co-host
privilege and I'm gonna play a song and and then we're gonna say hi let's
see who do I got next just so everybody knows what we got we got mindset we got
BP we got Mitch Rocky wants back in the queue it looks like we got another
request of somebody I don't know so perhaps my co-hosts can can vet them out
and yeah so I'm gonna play I'm gonna play this song that's actually gonna be
my next drop and it's part of this like three-piece acoustic series that I've been
I've been trying to get out before this this album that I start working on this
year and so I haven't played it in a while I think maybe you know I played
it a bunch when I first wrote it and then I kind of I kind of let it breathe a
little bit but yeah this song is called take my time and I think that I'm gonna
drop it next month but we'll see I haven't really decided yet here we go
break down the path I laid out keep falling on my face all alone in a
strange town someone explain how I keep the gun out my hand and a roof on my head
questions check off the lessons sit with the sorrow of a life that made you
all that you are press paper reflections failed intuition at the heart of my
suspicion if I take in my time
around wait for the stars to align
stay high sink in a way he saw water crash on my face no wonder hear me
deep breath process the secrets exit the spiral spinning round keep pressing tiles
seeking home where my peace lives a place to be still kick up my feet before I ask
myself the consequence if I keep taking my time
stars to be like my feet just around I scream I gotta stay high sink in a way
saw water crash on my face don't want to hear me complain
if I keep wasting my time sitting around when we put the stars to align won't feel my feet just around I know I always stay high up in the clouds
I'm breaking me through the doubt ain't got no need to complain
I don't want to hear you cry
I don't want to hear you cry
I don't want to hear you cry
Jesus holy guacamole fondue every time without fail you blow my mind crazy wait
I do I run away see where's Shane right now Shane see Shane left before we could
do the oh no he's down there he left before we could do the blow me away
joke we're keeping that alive forever Shane I'm sorry like it's it's never
it's never gonna die any space that I'm in I'm gonna try and slip it in there
that's what she said yeah no thanks guys that'll be like like I said that'll be
this third drop to go along with brown eyes and silhouette and you know I've
kind of I'll find the tweet and pin it up to I'm gonna do a vinyl pressing
for people holding certain amounts or certain combinations and so there will be
there will be an actual physical copy and then one of the things I'm still
somewhat undecided on is what's gonna go on the back side of the vinyl there's
been some talk of like some pure like raw acoustic versions more than just like
the produced acoustic versions there's also been some talk of some unreleased
stuff that could end up there so I don't really know exactly what's gonna go on
there and then I'm also gonna be rewarding holders with another drop
that'll be a song that'll only be able to be got by holders of these tracks
and it's gonna be just like a yeah I mean no secondary or no public sale like
that's it I'm gonna be I'm gonna open it up for people who have the the
combination of NFTs to get it and that's gonna be it and if you guys want
to try and sell them on secondary go for it but that's gonna be my little gift to
you guys so yeah I have mine now no no you're still short you're still short
the next drop so good good luck to you that's all that's all I gotta say yeah
that's the first time I heard you play that one day actually I'm kind of upset
because I heard this before tonight but yeah let me like it that was really dope
oh it's tough you know I've got a lot of I've got a lot of things to promote as
you as you very well know so I sometimes you know I sometimes forget
like oh yeah that's right I've got this other drop that's coming up and yeah
this is it's a good one it's you know for me it's like it's a little bit
about addiction and not so much like addiction that I suffered per se because
I'd like I haven't I've been fortunate in my life to never really deal with any
real addiction but like addiction can mean so many things like you you can be
addicted to a concept you can be addicted to a feeling like it doesn't
have to be drug related and I just kind of pulled from I kind of pulled from a
lot of places there and I actually the the second verse in that song was
actually written by a friend of mine she she was writing like poetry stuff and
her name is Lisa and she she'll get credited on the track for sure because
she just like she handed me this poem that she had written and she was like
hey I don't know if you could use this but like you know you were saying you
wanted to write something together and yeah she sent that in that second verse
just like I mean it was it was right there in the poem is so good and so
yeah it's it's cool it's like I think that's it's I think it's the first time
I'm collabing on like a on an actual finished song here and I know I mean me
rocky got some stuff where we're working on so there there'll be some things oh
whoops did I spill it again rock my bad anyway I you know I you guys heard
nothing I don't mind that this is a recorded space you heard nothing he's
drinking yeah man I hope that's the case yeah sure go for it and lay down some
of my so I have some other skill sets too so different than what you were
playing but let me let me just lay down some lyrics real quick so my boy fondue
he's got a disease he smoked so many trees his eyes as Chinese we brothers
like Siamese rhymes colder than mr. freeze doing crime sprees with these I can
make in mine sees I tie you up to pine trees to use fine bleeds can't touch the
lines in these rhymes skids I kidnap your blind meet nice and drop her off at
Harvey Weinstein's with nine freaks and a nest of giant bees get rid of the
evidence so you can't find leads oh it's just Lucius that alcoholic kid off his
medicine yet again he's got that hollow grin I stole the Dali llamas following I
don't know where that that came from that it rhymed in my mind I like it yeah
those that was dope Lucius that's so funny see this is this is why we love
this space guys you literally people can get inspired to do things on the spot
like from the space and you know we we love all of it we're here for all of
it yeah appreciate you Lucius so I did want to before we go to mindset here
because I do you know mindset BP Mitch rocky I didn't forget about you guys I
didn't want to check with Mela you know because we I do this a lot right like
Mela puts her account in the corner and then sergeant fondue comes out and
he just like pushes through the space and you know we've had to remind each
other like oh hey people sometimes like to hear us play so we should do a
better job of like making sure that we're doing so so I just want to see if
Mela wants to share a song before we get on with our cue here and you know no
pressure at all Mela except all the pressure all in favor say aye peer
pressure aye okay that thumbs down was by mistake yeah I just want to say
casually I don't know where you're at right now but you're definitely about to
miss Mela he's missing it again he always listen listen he's lucky he got to
hear one he got to hear one earlier though that's that's probably why he got
his fix in today Mela I just want you to know for your song choice and I'm about
to light this blunt love it let's go I just ate an edible maybe like 25
minutes ago so I'm gonna see how this goes my voice is still tired from
yesterday kind of baked how about for old time's sake is this the right key
that sounds right okay give me one second
the great thing is is even if it's not does that take me down
yeah okay I know some of you know the lyrics by now so like don't unmute just
sing along and I'm gonna picture you guys singing with me oh my god it's
still out of tune this okay so I flew with this guitar and on the way there
they made me check it which was whatever it was fine and then it was fine for the
gig I played in San Diego but then on the way back I think it got a little
fucky could also be just like the weather change I went from cold to hot
back to cold so one second sorry guys okay that's the last time I'm trying to
tune it so if it's not in tune you're just gonna have to deal with it
there she is
I said hands up I got a question for you he said shoot I shut him down I bet he
learned his lesson cuz this Smith and Wesson won't leave you second-guessing
second-guessing no I said hands up no one gets hurt if no one moves he said
please ma'am my ladies at home and the kids are at school I guess he thought
I'm bluffing but I taught him something a desperate person doesn't care for
nothing can't for nothing no
take me oh take me down take me before time runs out take me oh take me down
take me before time runs out
they said hands up and put the weapon on the ground I said take your shot me
the best man be the last to hit the ground they didn't see me come in thought
that I'm pretty something could never manage but I'm back to running back to
running yeah I said heads up I got a secret baby boy keep that pretty mouth
shot or be my next falling toy you might not guess where I've been no the
trouble I'm in no the trouble I'm in take me down Oh take me down take me
before time runs out take me oh take me down
take me before time runs out my baby shot me down
that was awesome Ella I miss I miss the I miss the promo tour for that song you
know where like you you were so tired of playing it and I feel that right like I
did that with brown eyes a lot too but yeah I missed hearing that song in
spaces I'm glad you decided to play that one thanks man I feel I feel like
you know I think you should go right into that next song if you were ever to
perform that and then just do the whole Nancy Sinatra bit actually whoever's on
stage with you though yeah go ahead it goes like the end like my baby shot me
down and then like bright into one thing not you because it's just like the
perfect transition that sounds like shit cuz my guitar see it's not staying in
tune but like it's just the perfect transition from take me down to what to
one thing not you she just like misnamed her own song cuz I'm pretty sure that
song is called boiler room oh shut up I'm dude I'm gonna end up changing the
name of the song cuz nobody is gonna know what the actual name of the song
is because of you and I'm gonna have to change it to boiler room but like
nowhere in the song does it allude to the fact that it should be called boiler
room so here's my question do you have any songs where the name of the song
is not something that you've alluded to in the song itself hmm dude you're making
me think I got a lot of songs that tells me you don't because if you if it was
right there you'd have that answer right away so that tells me like you need
to mix it up a little and maybe maybe have a song where the name is something
different yeah I just dropped a whole album where every song does not relate
to the song at all every title step it up keep up what I was what I was
saying is that you could go transition on stage directly from that song and to
I was five and he was six yeah we rode on horses made of sticks you were black
and I were white he would always win the fight bang bang yeah that'd be sick
that'd be really really cool actually I gotta I gotta get that cover down I have
a funny story about that song actually and then we're gonna go to mindset I
promise you mindset I'm sorry man I every you know you know how these don't
apologize do you think um so the funniest story that I ever had was like
when that song came out we were all pretty obsessed with it right like it you
know Kill Bill was just this phenomenal film and that track was just amazing and
I actually remember I had this car and and this is the problem with smoking weed
right is that you sometimes things happen to you and you're not sure if
you're just really high and it didn't really happen or if it did really happen
and then when you can when you can't recreate it for anybody else then you
really think it was just because you were high but I was sitting in my car and I
played that song on my CD player you know back back in the day we were
making mix CDs I played on my CD player and I shit you not the song
played all instrumental no vocals all the way through and fucking fucked me
up because I listened to it later that day in somebody else's car and it played
all the vocals never again did it ever happen but I swear it happened I you said
that there was cannabis involved in this experience I can either I can either
confirm nor deny my my state at that moment but I was it really loud I swear
to you that it was only the music that played like I don't know how it's
possible well what that was the song really loud yeah no I mean not
necessarily it was in a car yeah it wasn't a car is was the car speakers
fucked up I don't think so but why would all the music play and the odd and the
the vocals wouldn't maybe the cable was messed up how but how does it how
does it change that I mean so you're saying it was messed up in the
frequency didn't play was cold no I lived in South Florida it's never cold even
it even if you are fucking with me BP it doesn't matter you can't fuck with me
worse than I fucked with myself I was really trying to help either way I
appreciate you because like it can't get worse than that day and going
through that experience and literally not being able to recreate it for
anybody so anyway that's my crazy story about that song mindset thank you
so much for being patient and yeah my we got mindset BP Mitch and rocky and and I
feel like by that time it's you know we're getting to the later hours so I
apologize if you requested and then you disappeared because you thought I was
ignoring you I wasn't really ignoring you I just you know I'm not I'm not
always sure at this point in the night how long it's gonna go so mindset
appreciate you how are you thank you for being here you know I am good you know
just out here on my practice y'all know how I do I'm in right in mode so I'm
trying to get some stuff going on and you know you know why not share you
know why not share most is gonna be freestyle cuz this is like really like I
literally just started writing this so most is probably gonna be freestyle but
uh you know we got some bars so I'm gonna get y'all this and then we gonna
keep it rolling yo and y'all vibing tonight what a night here we go can you
hear that can I get a thumbs up cuz I can no longer hear you oh yeah ladies and
gentlemen non-binary my name is mindset makes money and tonight I'm in the house
with P Y MP radio shots out the mother be fondue ha first time I heard the beat I
got caught into the rhythm then I was trapped trapped in the system that do
nothing but spread this division so what I wanted to make a difference so I'm here
I'm here to fucking claim vengeance for my people that's locked with no sentence
and I'm on baby in the streets with the fucking trenches I'm dressed dressed in
all black ready football when this time I'm bringing it to your door knock knock
everybody laying on the floor I must say it like I never fucking said it
before I need my 40 acres crediting talks mom motherfucking beheading the boys
see I try to go with peace but giant want that y'all wanted me to bring out
the beast now the beast is ready to lay people to the CC RIP to anybody in the
way of me cuz me and the team we don't equal greed but me and the team is
hungry and we surely gotta eat don't try to take off our plate and it's part of
your faith to go ahead say bye to the pearly gates I said wait mindset please
take it easy they blind and they surely couldn't see me but now they eyes is
open cuz they vision real clear so I let one go so I could clear out the air to
let them know that we had and we don't care we ain't got no fear go ahead and
look nigga I don't care about glass cuz I am a beast untamed you know my name in
my brain been so free and y'all wrapped in those chains so open up and let it
go I had the free staff I had to let it flow to my mind and keep dripping like a
faucet I learned it somewhere but I can't tell you who taught it man the
cost for the boss I paid it and y'all I waited and that shit was so heavy so
I passed it away to my man so we could balance it out and then we could make
up a plan where nobody get in our way cuz can't nobody stand and y'all never
understand but it was part of God's plans so I breathe catch my breath let
one go it just might check your chest so please take it easy you don't want to
catch your death put your coat on it's cold nigga you might catch your death
mama told you but your ass didn't listen then you went missing and everybody I
glisten tears falling they all calling man me and my boys we still ballin out
here feeling like a liquor and I ain't talking about the paper I'm talking
about the palm trees with a feeling like beta slice them in half with a fucking
life saver I'm telling you take my advice this could be a lifesaver man
they don't listen
yeah I love that mindset that was a different that and you know it's cool you
usually you know you do a lot of spoken word and this was like I think this
might have been the first time I heard you kind of close to like rapping over
this beat rather than just straight spoken word I was rapping you ain't never
heard me rapper I don't know cuz I think it's always it's always been you
know I always listen you know I'm sorry to all you here but I've always seen
you as this like motivational speaker that comes in and does these like
amazing spoken word pieces so yeah I don't think I've ever heard you rap Wow
yo you know what can I give you a written can I give you something
written you got the floor let's go no commercial
I should have checked what beat this was but
like professor it's all good I got it don't matter what it is you know say we
got it's written so you know we got a tight right you know I'm saying I ain't
gonna get y'all the ladies and gentlemen non-binary y'all know it's all love we
just waiting for beat drop it was all good just a week ago nah I don't like
this what the fuck I don't like this nasty I don't know what that was that
definitely wasn't me
with some acne in the backseat of the taxi
can't even see that over there going on okay I got you my guy ah it was all good
just a week ago I'm sorry y'all I apologize I'm telling you it's gonna be
worth it maybe that's not the one I mean I was gonna say if you want it if you
want to hold up his neck mindset if I don't roll now it's not gonna go you know
I'm saying I'm in this weird flow it's really like you know like I ain't
practicing for days this is why I tell you I practice all the time this is the
exact reason more out of rhythm and shit but I'm I'm good
money was all good just a week ago now the people out here on the east
float on a Bitcoin but nowadays most of these people out here pushing all these
shit comes they forgot the launch pad that we sit on about to make the bad
contract straight get gone my said dad you heard what I said I ain't gonna say
it again just get it in your head call me the winner since a master splinter
I've been a savage for this game I'm eating niggas for dinner I chin check
you in New York how you feeling like you went Kenya days and can't breathe lost
and can't remember how you get there or where you're going the only thing you
know in the kingdom doing me wronging and I ain't claiming to be the voice of
the people but I got the eye of the eagle so of course I see you get it in
between my scope then maybe I leave but I'm tired of the murder tired of the
kill tired of feeling like I'm a dot worry about my children spend the rest of
my life in jail for the random nigga that killed them I know these are my
emotions but can anybody feel them can anybody feel them these are my emotions
can anybody feel them I'm tired of the murder I'm tired of the killer and I
know these are my emotions said I'm tired of being lost and not knowing
where we going I'm tired of rivers flowing in the oceans overflowing I'm
tired of the fucking posture and I'm tired of the fucking lion I'm tired of
being the pain I'm tired of all of the crying I inspired to inspire the mind
but most of the time niggas just want to walk on the line and they talk tough
about moving but they ain't about the crime I told you now is the time I
mean now is the time they trying to lock this in the box and throw away
the key and I'm telling you if you like me you want to be free cuz that freedom
is wings and with the wings we could fly in the sky is not the only place
that we strive to be seen they want us blind blindness can be they want us
dumb death and idiocy I'm telling you they want us building a sea of pain
from the chains that they locked around all of our fucking brains I tell you
they want us all the same they want us fucking crazy they want us not doing
what's best for all our fucking babies I'm telling you this been happening long
way before the 80s before mama gave birth to me and my brothers and all the
other seeds
all right thank y'all yeah that was that was fucking dope mindset I appreciate
you yeah it's me and that was cool okay I get a new I get now I got now I got a
new you know a new version of mindset in my head so I won't always just think of
you as one way that's that's fucking dope fucking dope well let's keep it
let's keep it rolling unless I mean mela unless you got anything to add yeah I
just wanted to say mindset you're crazy I did not anticipate that from you I'm
not gonna lie the first two times when the beat messed up I was like hmm how's
this gonna go is does he you know is he gonna perform here what do we get in
what are we getting from mindset today but then you came out and you just
fucking killed it so it was like third time's a charm type shit you know thank
you mother rhythm rhythm you know like I like I know we all be like you know he
be jana if I don't practice if I don't practice I'm all out of rhythm and you
know it's something else so like I'm getting into rhythm tonight you know
I'm saying but I appreciate y'all you know and a much love to everybody
you're in danger man goddamn damn man like yeah brother saying it'd be
something else if he really something else yo bro and I don't want a rhythm
without it having Armageddon oh my gosh love it yeah definitely go to freestyle
Friday Lucius at mindset appreciate you man sergeant fondue is gonna keep us
moving right along we're getting into those wee hours I want to make sure we at
least get through the people who haven't gotten to gotten to share anything yet
BP thank you for being so patient and this is my first time meeting you so I'm
sorry it's just how it goes I'm just happy to be here you kidding me
thinking I'm just happy to be you know that shit's good I'm happy to be here
what's up I feel like oh you know what I just realized fondue wasn't here for
the space that you came to so that's why he said this is his first time
meeting you fondue hosts with me every Wednesday so I was I was very confused
I was like wait no BP has been here that's okay though I mean I don't care
firstly I was like but I should just introduce you as like BP and I go way
back and we've written some bangers together we write yeah FaceTime often so
we we know each other quite well I got to see him live in Buffalo I was fucking
dope and I'm really hoping he's about to play us a song because I would love for
everybody to play a song I can play a song yay
Mela I love you dude thanks for having me thanks
co-hosts rocky it always confuses me cuz I go into Rocky Point holiday so every
time I'm here I'm like holy shit are they talking to me wait no Rocky's the
host what the fuck fondue it's nice to meet you I actually don't host this show I just happen to be here two weeks in a row it's crazy
that's hysterical I love that all right um I just dropped an album it's my first
fully self-produced record I usually take a lot of time like years to record my
music and put it out and this one I started recording last summer at home and
I just really wanted to put it out I didn't think that I could ever do it
better than what I did for I don't know how to explain it kind of call it
like Democore but it's like genre flow and this one's the track seven on it
most of it's more like emo Midwest emo type stuff but this one's this one's
probably my favorite on the record this one's track seven this one's not
midwest emo it's a guess it's a little it's a little anyway I'm gonna start a
complaint all right
what am I doing
hey you're a friend I heard you at it again how have you been these days been
there before and I can tell you I still barely feel okay I'm okay I'm okay I'm
okay I'm fine the grass is greener on the other side okay I'm okay I'm okay I'm
okay I'm fine everything will be all right
hey you but I hope you're doing well I bet you're doing better than you think
another day another story to tell another reason for another drink we're okay okay you're okay
we're fine the grass is greener on the other side you're okay you're okay you're okay you're
fine everything will be all right we're okay okay okay okay okay okay okay fine
okay okay okay okay okay we're doing all right
that was awesome bb thanks it was pretty good for drunk right
oh my god I love it I love love love it we're okay we're okay we're okay that's so catchy
hey yo thanks connecting my album to the top yeah of course you don't even need to put it in the
comments too because there we do get a decent amount of replays on this space and we're pretty
certain the jumbotron does not show up in the replay but all the comments do good to know thank
you yeah man no appreciate you um thanks for having me thanks yeah I'm trying I'm trying to think of
what it reminds me of it definitely like it has a feel of some of some music I've heard but then it
also has this like I don't know this really interesting unique quality I liked it a lot
like Mala said the lyrics are the lyrics are very catchy um so yeah appreciate you please
then please we're here every Wednesday man come come back I'd love your love thanks everybody
else for sharing your stuff I love hearing other people's music it's always inspiring
you guys are all very talented too BP can you do me a favor as well and post up at the top your
um and in the comments maybe like I don't know if you can tweet out um a link to your Spotify
or like wherever you want people to find your music and stream it because I have a feeling
there's plenty of people here that have never been acquainted with you before so it'd be good to
get them on there um I would say my my suggestion is start with drag on when you go to rocky point
holiday on Spotify or apple music or wherever start with drag on then I would say pack a punch
and then oh if you want to listen to a song that I co-wrote with him face down I co-wrote and
actually there's some harmonies for me on that song so if you want to hear me harmonizing on
top of BP's lovely voice face down by rocky point holiday damn see we're we're getting the
outfit tonight guys if I can uh also say really quick that my uh most recent record is only
available on uh band camp but uh I do have a bunch of other stuff on Spotify so I'll share
both of those at the top thank you so much for letting me share again with you guys
yeah man I'm definitely gonna check out that track with uh with mela for sure I'm uh I feel
like mela has all these like secret tracks lying around and we're just you know we're like the
onion we have to peel it back and find the layers um super fucking cool uh all right I'm
gonna keep us moving along Lucius uh are you are you trying to share are you just trying to
trying to uh chime in on something because I want to go to Mitch first if you want to share and
then we can come back to you um but if you just want to chime in go for it um yeah yeah I was going
to uh I was going to perform if that's in the cards I don't want to mess up your space but yeah
no no we can we'll we'll we'll we'll do is we'll throw you in right after Mitch because Mitch
hasn't performed I'm trying to flex I'm trying to flex my my my talent on this space because
what what if this becomes a whole nft later in the future what if because what what if mela and you grow
up to be some of the biggest baddest artists of all time and this is this whole space becomes an nft
and I'm on it and Rocky's here and we got all this other talent here and I'm on and I'm a part
of it so I want to I want to perform my song got you but let's get some other people here well
right I got you lucius you're gonna you're gonna go after Mitch and then and then we got Rocky and
then we're probably gonna shut her down um unless if mela ever wants to check her dm she can she can
let me know if that's uh excuse me I just answered come on oh damn of course I'm overlooking
all right no perfect no that's what I thought see I don't I don't like to assume I just like to
I like to check um but all right yeah Mitch welcome uh I we've had you a couple times here
I mean I obviously know you um I think a lot of people here know you but uh thank you for coming
out and uh can't wait to hear what you got for us well thanks for having me uh yeah I'm oftentimes
just hanging out in the listener section there's a lot of good music that comes in and out of here
uh yeah I just wanted to do a quick little guitar improv thing this is kind of the thing I do um
got a full-length album instrumental thing that I'm working on um I'm my birthday's on Monday I'm
gonna be going out and buying myself a bunch of birthday presents and getting my home studio like
all set up the way I want it uh yeah so so yeah the the album should be out in the next
couple months hopefully um but yeah I also put down in the comments uh mela I saw that you liked it
as soon as I tweeted it um I uh on my website there's a link to like a couple partnership things
I have going on um there's a string company here in Salt Lake City called Black Harbor Strings
they're kind of more geared towards like heavy music so if you play like an eight string seven
seven string guitar they can do custom string sizes and stuff like that uh their strings are
fucking awesome all my guitars hold their tune like really well it's kind of crazy like acoustic
and everything I highly recommend them just they don't pay me or anything I just like have a
discount code so if you use the discount code take over on Black Harbor Strings I can't remember
their exact website I'm a terrible representative but uh the I put a tweet in the in the comment
section so that's there um but yeah uh 20 off on those strings and everything but
it's twitter spaces and you don't get the full stereo thing because I'm playing out of a
meager three channels tonight um but yeah I'm just gonna do a little doodling I've got a loop
I may or may not turn it on we'll see but um I'm just gonna do a little doodling like I do
this is a piece I call one of a million different ways I've been doing this for
fuck like 22 23 years now uh this is just something I used to like put myself to sleep with
I had a little accident with a saw blade and lost a tip of a finger and had to kind of like really
fixate on effects pedals and stuff like that to kind of get around my little hobble but um yeah
I'm just gonna noodle around for a minute and uh I hope you like it as I like to say before I start
playing smoke them if you got them seems like everybody in here's uh already on that page so
I'm gonna go ahead and mute my microphone and do a little doodling and I hope you enjoy it
Hey, that's incredible. Yeah, that's fucking awesome
Mitch oh my god. Sorry you guys are gonna hear me chewing on a Tums right now, but
That was beautiful and I just got to say I really appreciate you and I appreciate like what you bring to the space and
Your vibe and you're always down to help and and just like everything. I really really do appreciate you
We don't get a lot of guitarists in here
At Pimp radio. I mean we have a ton of guitars, but we don't get a lot of people that come in and just like
Let us sit with their sound
And kind of just like resonate with the guitar on its own
So yeah, I really really appreciate you coming through and playing that for us. Thank you
Do you like Chan
Yes, I do you like covet oh
Ho ho ho covet. Oh my god
That girl is so not only is that girl so talented at the guitar
Have you seen the paintings she does on guitars?
Holy shit. Yeah, dude. I know the drummer
That whole band like everybody in that band is so goddamn tell it's saying that drummer is
Super group it's pretty sick
You you make beautiful music that was the first thing I thought of I can I love chat, that's great. It's very cool
Well, thank you so much
Yeah, like I said, I've got a full-length album. I'm working on it should have been out already, but I I
got working on my demos and realized like wow my computer can't handle what I'm trying to do I
can't afford a new computer yet, so I've been saving up for a while and
My birthday is coming up. So yeah, like I said, I'm this weekend. I'm going out and upgrading my whole home studio situation
So I'm gonna be have you dropped music before
It's complicated so I've been in a lot of I'm like primarily a guitarist in like bands and stuff like loud rock bands
There's a lot of background noise, I don't know where that's oh, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. Okay, I
Yeah, so on my soundcloud, that's basically the only place I have stuff up
I I've been in a bunch of bands and I'm sure there's a bunch of people in this room who've like
You got in that band and it was like the the band you were gonna fucking get there
You were gonna go you're getting ready to go on tour and then like your drummers
girlfriend got in a fight with your guitar player and your whole band followed fell apart and just like I
there's a lot of people in this room and a lot of musicians that have gone through the same experience where it's like you get
Right to that cusp of like, okay, we're ready to release this album. We're ready to get there
And yeah, so all I have is like
Early demos and stuff like that. But if you look up Mitch Cooper on soundcloud, it's kind of hard to find these days
I was looking for it yesterday actually and
You have to keep scrolling for a while
But there's a picture of me in a weird
Goofy looking suit that looks like I got it from a thrift store with a gold tie and I'm like eating a breadstick
That's my soundcloud account, but you can you can just DM me and I'll get the link and
But yeah, so I don't have anything on
Spotify or any of the big streaming services currently
But I do have if you go to will take over doc or William take over calm
Both of them work will take over calm will take you to the short film that I put out a couple falls ago
There's some of my music on that short film
But William takeover calm will kind of take you directly to a page that will explain like all the audio visual art pieces
I've been putting out for the last couple years
Other than that, I don't really have like music on streaming platforms
Yet, but once this album's out, I want it to be everywhere and as accessible as possible. But there's also gonna be like a
digital collectible
edition version of it, but
Yeah, I don't want to talk too much about myself because I started real awkward about it when that happens
I vote I have a lot of experience in that genre and in that world if you want to
Just have a call sometime if you're unexperienced in it
And if you want advice and if you wanted to have a chat
I'd be more than happy to just shoot me a message, you know, I
I'm turning 38. So I've been around I've been around the block for a little while. That's cool
2000s, but no the the emo vibe that you were throwing down I was I was all about that I was loving it. So
That's BP. I'm talking to right. Yeah. Yeah, that's BP. Okay, cool. Cool. Yeah
Loving loving what you're throwing down. So it's just a big fan. So if you connect anyway, I'd love to yeah
Awesome. Well, appreciate you as always like just absolutely
entrancing
Yeah, fucking amazing. All right. We're we're winding it out here
We got Lucius and rocky and then me and mela are gonna close this out
So I'm so you were in the requests and I XG out. It's not cuz we don't want you to share
It's just cuz we're winding down and you know
This space could go on forever. Every anybody who hosts a space knows if you don't cut it off at some point
It'll it'll go all night
so Lucius
You're up brother stages here
You know you guys so Lucius he's um, he's actually he's typing something in his typewriter right now
But I just want to tell you guys
If you guys touch me deep down in my inside of my Christopher Walken, and I mean I've never heard of
Talent as great as yours on the space. I
Mean you guys don't need any sort of cowbell at all
I mean, it's like you're already at the place you're supposed to be
You know, it's really great
astronomical
Infant is mole. I could put a lot of other words in there, but okay here he comes
You know, he's gonna he's gonna grab the mic for two seconds. I mean
Lucius the rapper we didn't know he was a rapper, right? I mean, I didn't even know that
Okay, we got my guy
Lucius really great amazing
Thank You Christopher, thank you. Thank you
Yeah, I mean it was like over done
Okay, Chris like next time just like chill the fuck out and do wait I hired you to do
Okay, please you're not supposed you're just supposed to do the voice
you're not supposed to do anything like you're not supposed to like
tell me that I'm typewriting and then shit and it don't tell people that I typewrite because
Nobody uses typewriters
anymore, okay, so
Anyways, I'm sorry for my my friend
He's a little autistic
So you guys okay, so getting ready to close the space
Yeah, okay, so I wanted to sing a record I really love
Is from a an artist that I'm studying
He happens to be one of the most prolific artists and in the history of singing and the very first
teen pop idol model and
The enterprise is worth 150 million dollars and
This is where Michael Jackson got his
He got his moose from was Frank Sinatra and and actually Elvis too
You know throwing him in there, but I love this guy
I don't think he gets enough credit, but but it's way after his time
So I'm gonna sing this record. I love this record
It's called the summer wind
Right and I'm gonna do the soccer pelo cuz I'm not sitting at my piano currently and we know this story all together
And if you want to know more about this story just text Fondue or melody, so I've said that many too many times so
All right, here we go
Now the summer wind
Came blowing in from across the sea
And it lingered there even touched your hair
And you walked with me
And all summer long
We sang a song then we strove that golden sand
Two sweethearts and summer wind
Like painted kites those days and nights
They went flying by
The world was new beneath the blue umbrella sky
And softer than
this Piper man
One day it's cold to you. I
Lost you to the summer
Now the autumn wind and the winter wind they have come and gone
Still those days lonely days they go on and on
But guess whose side
My fickle friend you and I the summer wind
Whoa that summer wind
Warm summer wind. Oh
the summer wind
That was awesome Lucius
Your first talk of the night, too. So that was absolutely fantastic
H being here in Britain
And I just want to remind I've seen a few requests down there and I'm sorry
I know I just brought Cristiano up a he'd literally told me on the back end
He is not coming up to perform. That's the only reason I brought anybody else up
So nobody think that oh, no, he just letting Cristiano up. Not like no, no, I literally mess you know, we're wrapping up
So I'm sorry. We are wrapping up tonight. We're here every Wednesday night 830 Eastern
We also have a mega music space hosted by Violetta and probably Tony and Cristiano tomorrow
I think Cristiano, can you confirm with me? Is it is it 2 or 2 30 Eastern that we usually start?
We started to Eastern to Eastern. Okay, so to Eastern guys
Please come through tomorrow. You'll be more than welcome show up early requests early
You know, we know we know how V feels about the the late requesters, huh?
Just as Darius
Yeah, I have I have a I have a I have a really quick
Scale to to it to announce just like a really quick
like like
From a scale from Taylor Swift to Frank Sinatra. How did you guys feel about my Frank Sinatra?
impersonation from a scale of Mike Tyson to gay you can also scale it that way
Or from from Taylor Swift to Frank Sinatra. How good was my Frank Sinatra?
From 10 to 10
Literally like literally I'm like, yo, I don't think that's a scale like I
Taylor Swift being your Taylor Swift being at a very zero. Okay, and then
You know, but you can't put her it is you I will not rate that scale don't you may say my taste hey
Yeah, no, I know I won't I listen I look to be honest
I would never a fan of Taylor Swift and I wouldn't consider myself a fan now, but after I watched her
She she did kind of like an unplugged type
Mmm documentary series on one of her albums and it's on Disney Plus after I watched that I got mad respect for her
So yeah, I won't I won't degrade her by it by having her called a zero and rating you Don Taylor Swift to Frank Sinatra
It was a great performance Lucius. It was great
We loved it, but I'm gonna keep us moving because it's we're at the end of the night, bro
We're at the end of the night. We're already 20 minutes past the hour
So I'm gonna keep us moving forward
Let's say hi to Cristiano and then let's play a rocky track and then me and Mel are gonna close us out
And then we are gonna rug this space
Okay, so Cristiano, how are you?
Hi guys, how is your acting out that good advice? It was great. You guys were doing a great. You're doing a great job
You're doing a really great job. I love all three of you. I love everyone in this room and in case you guys
Everyone have everyone follow is really great
You the greatest of all time
And we're gonna vote you in as president and everybody's gonna love you. Everybody loves you
It's very tremendous very incredible and I love you
Thank you
Just wanted to say and tell everyone if you haven't yet follow these three up here and follow each other
That's how we make this web 3 web a little bit smaller
So we all connect with each other so look to your left look to your right up down
Follow each other don't follow the people diagonal because that's weird, but just follow up down left and right. Yeah, we good. Oh
Oh my gosh, it's so ridiculous. Thank you Cristiano. Thanks for coming by man. I know it's it's late for everybody
Oh, it's not too late for you. I think you're solid. You're back on the West Coast. Maybe it's not so bad for you
Yeah, I'll be up degenerate all night. Don't worry. I love it. I love it. All right, Rocky. We're here
We made it what what would you like to do for us here tonight?
Man, it's on you. You got a rocky catalog over there
So go ahead and pick your poison, you know, you know, this is the problem, right because I'm
I'm tempted to play Coco pebbles even though it's not on this list
But I'm not gonna do it. Okay
And so what's your all right? What would you what is the most?
Sent back that that isn't I picked addicted. It was like 16 years old. What's the most recent one that you sent me?
The most recent would that I think this in that email is probably they don't love it freestyle which was oh, yeah
I remember I want to say I want to say that was July of last year because I recorded that
While I was in the midst of the the culture tape
competition and that
Freestyle is the direct response to the first gym session of that competition
Oh, I remember clearly and for me who wasn't there for that night
the whole group decided to really meant rocky and
And leave him until the very last of the top 100 that got whittled down from I think I think French
He said like 600 people entered that contest. So, you know
It was hysterical to say the least me and Rocky were talking in the back end during that whole thing
I think I was in Vegas actually
All right, cool. So I think I want to play that cuz I don't know if anybody's heard that yet before I do
Mitch, what's up?
Well, I was I was just gonna try to request a live version of the recent collab that you guys did because it sounds great
You're ruining all the fun I was gonna do that already Mitch and you just
Sorry, you just don't sit in the corner over here. No, it's so funny. That's actually really funny
No, I so legitimately that was the that was the song I was preparing to close us out with on my end
So yeah, you will get exactly that
All right
We're gonna play the they don't love it freestyle Rocky to grimy I gotta say I really like this track a lot, especially because
It was you know, it's something for me
I was in this same contest and so I remember all these things going down and you know
Hearing somebody take that and turn it into something the very next week ready to go
Was just was just awesome. So here we go. Let's roll. Oh, I guess I got to open up the link first, don't I?
All right. Here we go. Now we're not
Was murdering beats just so long. They still ain't stop me
They just wonder why I'm still so cocky Jim session and it's it for right
You haven't seen that they write it. There is no rocky thick and dark shop
That's we play such a playing games that be fighting in the space where it's on the same
I mean, this is Destiny's writings on the ball. I go claim. It's insane. Even if somebody is the money
I'ma tell you right now. I'm with it. It's big. This is shit
Can't I'm fixing but John tell us a lyrical piss
I never know that in the space didn't do it like this
But I can't be a whole trip if I shoot and I miss it's too late like I'm pretty much going to six
They don't forget. Oh, it's a boom in the mix
Whatever I guess I told him
Yes, and if I get the chance I give him my best I see no competition but I
Don't want it
But if they don't suck it, yeah in the league of my own not know what I think you should leave me alone
See this attempt to get me in a zone and I put hate to eat the one of my own
But I'll do it. I promise that I'll do it. Yeah, stupid. I lose something. It's not music. I can feel the shit in my veins
It's not for which I've always been aware of my dreams
It's not you say to my whole brandy and said I want to work with him after the session
I'm gonna cook her dinner real salmon hill salad. Miss granny. I'm gonna be down with
Fucking a I mean I gotta say it like the also again
Like if anybody wasn't listening that space when they did this to Rocky like French
He was was audibly just laughing at what they were doing cuz like he kept he kept like hinting
About rocky a little bit, but then we just like move on and when they would announce somebody else and he couldn't keep it together
So that's great rock. That's great. Love it. Absolutely. Love it
Well, Mela, I figure I figure I'll go first and you close this out. What'd you think?
Sounds good to me. All right. All right, so
Mitch already spilled the beans. I was you know, it's gonna be a surprise that I was gonna do it live here
But I actually like that. It's that it's getting requested live to you
I I did this to Rocky in a space where you know, he was originally like oh, let's let's play the record
Let's play the record and I was like, no, I think I'm gonna play it live
He's like, no, no, no, let's play the record
I know I think they're gonna like it live and we let the room vote and of course like immediately the the host is
Like oh, no. Yeah, we want to hear it live and I just died because yeah, there's something about live performance, you know
So just want to say shout out to everybody in here
I see vegan and Darius and Krover still here jigsaw Sima cowboy Hermes Satoshi John crypto crypto Nick smiley
Dave Oh God too many people. We appreciate you guys all being here. Some of you I've seen since the very beginning and
Yeah, I mean you could be anywhere on your Wednesday night and you're here with us at Pimp radio
So and thanks to everybody who performed and and really made this a great night
so this is my
I just want to make sure
You're coming a little choppy for me. Like is that for anybody else or is it?
Yeah, boy choppy fondue
Yeah, I was I wasn't sure cuz there was some moments like during when you were playing a song
Where it was like happy, but I saw you said that you and I didn't
Get to the root. You were fine for the majority of the night
It wasn't until like you were playing my song and I thought I was just tripping because I seen people throw in the emojis
So I'm like, oh, maybe they're hearing it like it sounds good. But then I'm like
I don't want you
We just accept a certain level of trash from Twitter that that's the problem
Literally, we're just like, ah, it's just there
I'm gonna I heard I heard the song perfectly clear. It's just when you started talking it got choppy. Oh
You know what? Oh my god. Wow. I don't even want to tell you guys what it was
We're gonna just pretend we're gonna just pretend no, no, no, it was Twitter's fault first
We're gonna just pretend that I switched off Wi-Fi and that that's what it helped
We're gonna forget about the fact that I went to cook dinner in the middle of all this and and may or may not have
Switched my mic setting just maybe possibly
Sorry, Rocky. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, bro. I
It's my fault. It's all my fucking fault. Oh
I this is my
And you can hear the
Usually I don't give a fuck now, I don't give a fuck
Back in this mine stay
Respectful
Used to give a fuck
I give a fuck less. I'm coming
After we're too much stress. I do it too much death. We should bring back telly
Kill me brothers, madam
Kelly thinking about my ex
Give me all depressed turn me to a new me forget about
She almost made me lose me only good thing. She ever gave me was that cool. She can't forget
Talk to me, keep a clown and F.T. I will never be a joke, I don't quit slowly, but I'm still
with the joke, and anything I wrote, the lyric that I spit, there's something you can quote,
I always had this gift, and I don't mean to gloat, but we have to admit, I'm the brother
of the goat, fuck you think this is, man I'm done with all that hope, forget about a wishlist,
the only thing I know is spitting bars and writing hits, it's like the only thing I know
is how to give it to your chick, and if I don't know nothing else, I know that I'm already
rich, yeah, don't talk to me, think you're going to fool me, riding in the backseat,
riding in movies, dragging me along, thinking I don't see the bullshit, stuff that ain't
going to trap inside of the illusion, yeah, don't talk to me, playing with ego, digging out
in my web 3P stroke, yeah, don't talk to me, so don't talk to me, I've been working on my
mind, I'm focused on my spirit, Chantel says she knows some real music, would you hear it, I tell
her that I'm grateful, what would be the odds, I'm not even in the space, she can parrot me to
naz, and that made my whole year, back in 2022, now it's 2023, and I can't be fooled,
and I'm getting my streams, and I'm getting more views, I've been drinking more water, I've been drinking
that bullshit, well don't talk to me, think you're going to fool me, riding in the backseat,
riding in movies, dragging me along, thinking I don't see the bullshit, stuff that ain't going to trap
inside of the illusion, yeah, don't talk to me, playing with ego, digging out in my web 3P stroke,
yeah, don't talk to me, don't talk to me, you don't talk to me, so don't talk to me
beautiful, sorry I was late to the button there, oh you're good, I was definitely on some kind of a slower
tempo, the whole wide spectre mode messed me up, beautiful as always though, so good, I love that song
the lyrics are great, yeah I wonder where they came from, this fucking guy, oh my god, leave
it to Rocky to tell us how great his lyrics are, no I mean that was cool bro, I think actually
really that was the first co-writing collab I guess in a way, I mean you had already written your
part, I mean writing that hook was definitely my first co-writing in web 3, so you can say
that, you were the first person to get fondue to co-write a song in web 3, yeah I know
yeah and you're technically, I mean it's a cover so but technically that would be like
my like the first official song that like, I can't say because I didn't write it all, you wrote the hook
so I guess it's a collab, the first songwriting collab that I've done
on the blockchain in web 3 and eventually probably on BSPs as well, so that's when I got fondue.
Yeah man, I appreciate you requesting it Mitch, even though I was already gonna play it it's always nice to
get the request because no because for real it's like who knows, I mean sometimes I decide
last minute to change my mind, I'm like no I'm not gonna play this, people are done here in this
and I play something else so it's always good to hear and I'm you know like I told Mela earlier like I
was stoked to hear her play take me down so it's like it's nice to hear him come out. What's up Rocky
and then we're gonna go to Mela and then we're gonna shut her down folks. Yeah real quick I just
wanted before Mela does close this out I just wanted to say and I'm gonna post it up in a second
we'd love to see all you talented individuals at the big talent show tomorrow that is hosted by my
guy Fondoodle. I will be there in the co-host position as a judge and we are going to do kind of
what we're doing here only not just music you can do whatever you want you can do poems you can
come up there and you know smoke a bong or something a lot of y'all like marijuana in this
space so you know you can you can do that it's been done you know actually a couple weeks ago
somebody uploaded a video to the jumbotron of them rolling a blunt in about 30 seconds so uh yeah
there's 30 35 point 35.6 seconds to be exact good damn it's impressive it was slightly impressive
um i don't remember when i gave it i think i actually gave it quite a low score um we are very
unserious we're clowns i will have this clown face on when i get there i did just pin it up
to the top so if y'all want to come hang out with us you you know might be able to win some prizes
we give away nfts and it's just a hilarious show so yeah well and i just want to make sure that
i let people know uh one of the biggest differences because rocky very much compared it to tonight
um but i'll tell you the biggest difference is uh you will be judged at the talent show
um and so be be prepared uh you know and i hate to say it but sometimes it's not always
the absolute like best musician or performance that wins um we are clowns uh so like sometimes
it's about playing to the judges you know we make jokes about greasing the judges pockets
but there's all kind of ways to to play to the judges it is a clown show um but it will
we ran it a couple going to a lot of fun um so yeah come through and then again i just want to
remind everybody mega music thursdays with violetta and christiano and tony and myself and
and lots of other amazing people will be there uh 2 p.m eastern that will start um and then the
big top talent show is 8 30 p.m eastern so hope to see you guys there and without any further ado
our wonderful host mela whoa sorry i was low key just practicing something
i'm trying to work out um i'm not going to play it today because like i said i'm not feeling great
um but for rocky actually this is dedicated to rocky
because a little birdie told me that his favorite mela b song is shine
i don't know if that still holds true actually it's been a while since we've talked about it
but i love that song i'm working i don't think i've ever heard it live i don't think i've ever heard
it live no you haven't you haven't so i'm working it out um because it's one of the few songs like
it was a collaboration effort there were a couple producers on it um it started out as a beat
rather than me being like i i didn't play the guitar and and write the guitar part so
it started out as a beat which means it's very backwards to what i usually do
um so i kind of i'm i'm working it out it's it's not hard it's basically me just needing to
practice it and i refuse to be subpar um even though i'm gonna be subpar anyway because my
voice is tired anyways i'm gonna stop rambling now um i am going to play a song
and fondue is going to tell you what the name is
there's this great amazing amazing track phone like it is a fucking incredible tune and it's
gonna be out soon i i know that mela's gonna release it soon and just a little backstory
it was originally recorded in this little room next to a book and that's where it got the
name boy room and it will forever be enshrined as boilerwood
let's see the emojis guys let's dance
you don't know me like you want to
and i'm sorry but i don't think you ever will
no you don't know the full truth and it's funny that you seem to think you do
because i got one thing on my mind i got one thing on my mind i got one thing on my mind
and it's not you you don't need me like you say you do trust me baby i can't be the one to pull you
through you just tease me and you make me feel so small so why should i put you on a pedestal
because i got one thing on my mind i got one thing on my mind i got one thing on my mind
and it's not you no it's not you no i got one thing on my mind i've got one thing on my mind
i got one thing on my mind and it's not you i guess i'm just bad at writing love songs
in fact i don't think that i've ever written one at all
because just when i feel like it's my time to fall you come around and prove that i was better on my
own because i got one thing on my mind i've got one thing on my mind i got one thing on my mind
and it's not you no it's not you no i got one thing on my mind i got one thing on my mind
i got one thing on my mind and it's not you
Yeah, and that was Boiler Room, folks.
Don't let her tell you any other names that it was.
We're going to force our hand, alright?
The Cabal in Web 3 has spoken.
That song is called Boiler Room.
Find the Cabal.
Oh my goodness.
Well, that was fun.
Because I'm a pimp.
Um, guys.
You're a monster.
You're a monster.
I'm a pimp.
I'm a pimp.
Guys, one day I'm going to have to like do a PSA somehow of like, what does this mean?
Where did Pimp Radio start?
How did this become a thing?
Why Pimp?
Why Pimp?
Do you want me to go get, you know, I could get the sound bite from, uh, I could go pull
it and we could just play it at the beginning of every show.
We could.
And we could speed it up.
So I sound like a chipmunk.
I think that'd be cool.
I don't know why.
Just because it's going to be long.
I have a request.
What's your request?
Now I have another request and I just remembered that you didn't do my other request.
Um, cause I told you to sing me a Spongebob song and you didn't, but, um, now I want
Yes, you did.
Yes, I did.
I did sing you a Spongebob song just cause it wasn't the one that you want.
Beggars can't be choosers.
You still, you still gotta do it, but I'm just going to put it on your to-do list.
Um, but the next one that I have is, um, you gotta sing me like Alvin and the chipmunk
Like there's a bunch of them.
So you gotta do them, but you gotta do them in like somewhat of a chipmunk voice.
Maybe just put a voice changer on, like just put a whole, you know what, just sing
a melody song in a voice changer.
Now requests like these requests, like these, this is why she doesn't respond to your DMs,
This is why she doesn't answer your DMs.
Also, also respond to my DM from 2023 melody, please.
And thank you.
I, wait, did I not respond?
Listen, you responded, but then you got, you know, conversations, you know, like, so
you responded, but then you stopped responding.
So then it stopped the conversation.
So we can, we can finish the conversation in 2023.
I will answer, I will answer your question right, right now, like literally right now.
And then we will continue our conversation.
But your question, I, I think that I could pull off the chipmunk thing, but
it's at a cost because like this, this is going to take effort.
This is going to take work.
Like, come on.
I, I'm not a monkey that just dances.
I need to be enticed to dance.
You're not con doodle because I literally whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, what
are you trying to say, bro?
Because you got me, you know, he, because he thinks, he thinks that because he got me
one time to do a song from South Park called uncle fucker that I just dance.
He, but like, that's the way I sucker him in is I do one and the next time he asked
for something, oh, this is where I pull a mela B and I'm like, Oh, well, it's going
to cost you.
It's going to cost you.
Like, if you want me to sit down and record that and like do the chipmunk voice, like,
Oh, no, I just wanted you to do it live.
You don't got it.
Oh, you want me to do it live.
Oh, my God.
That's even more expensive.
You're kidding.
The price just, the price just doubled rock.
The price just doubled.
Actually it's doubling by the second year.
So it's it's far out of like anybody's budget in this room right now.
So by the by the second, like keep going.
You didn't even know what my price was to begin with.
So you should be afraid.
But guys, if we don't close the space now, we will go forever.
I still have a couple of things I got to do before I go to bed here.
So to that, I say I'm a pimp.
