Oh my god, I thought I was talking okay. Hi
You think I would learn by now
But I haven't
Hi everybody. Welcome to another episode of pimp radio pyp plug your music, please
Episode I don't know cuz I don't keep track but we're waiting on
Tony is unable to make it tonight. So it'll be
It'll be fondue and myself and
Yeah, we'll see what happens. Um, hi DJ Satoshi. How are you?
I'm doing very well. Just doing some late night
grocery shopping
Radio, you know parking in the parking lot
Was thinking you were doing 830. So I was like, oh crap. I already missed the first song
I know Mel is probably singing something and then I'm like, oh wait
She posted 845. I'm in luck. It's my lucky day. So I figured I'd join in and repost the space and
Send it out to some of my group chats
Get the get the hump day going right? So how you doing? Are you feeling better from last week? So yes
Yes, a lot better
Hanging in there
It's been good. Hence why I started wait. I needed the extra
time to get myself together here, but
Yeah, I'm excited next week
I don't think we will have PIMP radio on Wednesday because I will be in New York
doing a few performances for NFT NYC
events happening around there, so
Yeah, next week will be postponed or just skipped all together depending on how the rest of the week goes
What was I gonna say if there was something else I was gonna say and now I forget that's awesome
I hope you have a lot of fun. Where are you performing in New York City?
Sorry, I'm eating M&Ms. Um, so the first
No the second I'm performing with third planet studios, I couldn't tell you the venue
For like any of them. I just I just know where I need to be when I need to be there
But um, yeah, so the second is there and then also peppy punks on the second
And then this Thursday, so I guess that's the fourth
It will be at the actual like NFT NYC event
So yeah, it should be good should be fun. I'm excited
Thank you, that's awesome. I hope you have a lot of fun
Thank you
Fondue, how's it going? How you doing?
He's moving oh my god
No, everything's good
It's been a long day. I got we we took an order for
For some shirts from a guy who's running for County Commissioner over where we live
And it's not like it wasn't like a huge order, but you know 20 shirts that I've been I've been doing it all day
My gosh, that's good though. Yeah. Oh, I mean easy easy easy money
I feel bad for the guy cuz like he waited till the last minute
So like we couldn't place an order for the shirts we normally get which are really high quality and very cheap on our cost
So like he literally had to go buy them at like Walmart or wherever he bought him
So he paid like six seven dollars a shirt instead of like the the two or three dollars a shirt that we would have paid
And then still I mean, you know still paid us five bucks a press for just a single logo. So
Yeah, oh gosh. Yeah, I can't even imagine buying just from like Walmart
Things would get really expensive really quickly
Well, he tried to he tried to get this he tried to get this deal that was
It was like a whole pack, but we told him like yo, it's got to be at least 65% polyester
He's like, all right. I understand. I understand. What do you think he brought hundred percent cotton this fucking guy?
So like as soon as he dropped it off
I called him back as I go you might as well turn back around and come get these cuz I can't do nothing with this
And his excuse he was like, oh, well, we had already bought him before your girl told us that they had to be polyester
I was like, well, what does that have to do with you bringing them to my house?
then cuz like that means that you knew that I couldn't press these and
So for being such a pain in the ass he he actually so we you know
We made five bucks a shirt plus the he brought me a six pack of one of my favorites the Kona big wave the liquid
So there you go. Yeah
Man, I swear people
People do the dumbest shit. Sometimes I can I can relate there's something that recently happened with
I'm not gonna get into it because I'll just I'll just rant but yeah people do that. You gotta tell it now. Come on
No, it's like okay. So scheduling things is
Really difficult when people just don't understand the fact after you've said several times
Hey, we have no availability
From the first until the 7th of April. We're away. What like I don't mean is you got availability on the third
That's what I heard
No, the first of April until the 7th of April though, and then she's like, okay
But what about that week and I'm like, no, I've told you three separate times
We are not available. Oh my god. It's like
People really don't give a shit. They just they're like, you know what? I'm gonna ask
They're hearing you like they're hearing you say something but they're not listening to you and understanding what it is that you're saying
Yeah. Yeah, they they don't give a shit. They're just like in their own little world
But yeah, no, it's it's frustrating back and forth for no reason because people don't know how to listen
But enough of that we'll we'll push on well, we're gonna have a good pimp radio episode tonight
I have a feeling that we might get the theme song. Is that happening Fondia?
Sergeant I
Mean is is that the feeling that you have I have a feeling I my feeling is that we're gonna get that tonight cuz you
We didn't get it last time
So I feel like we're due for it
I mean, yeah, I mean we didn't really get it last time
I I intended to come in and just play it right away. And then we just continued down the list of people
But this is why I see you it's coming you let it get out of control long before I arrived
Sometimes you just gotta ride the wave and just accept what it is
I can definitely play it. Hopefully I don't cop like yesterday
So yesterday I was in the middle of a song and like I had a tickle in the back of my throat and had to
Cough so fucking bad. And so I just start hacking all of a sudden in the middle of the song
People were like yo fine. Did you just take a bong rip in the middle of while you were playing?
I'm like guys that no like no, I just I the allergies are still running. Yeah, that's what I do every time
That's not what I do every time this yeah, I don't lie
I don't gotta I don't gotta make it up
I don't you know, it's like no I don't smoke a lot of weed these days and so it's
No, it's just we're still in this like springtime. All the leaves are blooming like literally everything is is popping off right now
So, you know, well, I'll try not to cough. I'll try that. I'm gonna try to keep it in my range that doesn't
Doesn't mess me up but yeah, listen guys, I don't think mela said it yet
But if you don't repost the damn space, okay
I'm gonna personally go and grab the attack pigeons and I'm gonna launch them from Grand Junction
To make sure that wherever you are in the world
All right, you're gonna have attack pigeon poop on your front doorstep
Okay, so go ahead and go and repost that space and let's go
Admittedly, this is the first song I'm going to play it all day

Don't be a bitch
Don't be a bitch
You ain't got no property
fucking killer as usual yeah that that was our our theme song pyp if anybody
wants to come up and chat or perform or whatever now's your time while there's
little people here because we all know what happens later we get down to the
the red sheet and we're like okay guys gotta hurry up so now's the time if you
want to come up and say what up speaking of which let's say hello to Thumper
right when I'm inviting everyone hi how's it going I like drunk fondue you
should come to the called something in wine I don't know well it's called it's
called rhythm and wine mela mela's been there once we didn't see her there last
night but we did go six hours and and fondue did make it to whiskey yeah it
was supposed to be it was I was literally telling everybody like okay I think I'm
gonna close it down soon this was it like hour four I was like alright I think I'm
gonna shut it down here in like 30 and and then we got this so we got a request
from somebody that had zero fault and was following zero people so of course like
everybody was really sus right like they immediately like oh god like what are we
gonna do and I was like alright guys look I've had enough drinks you know he
might not be here or they he or she they might not be here to put dicks up
in our jumbotron and I kind of put him through there kind of put him through
the wringer a little bit to kind of see if he was serious about wanting to come
up and he came up and then didn't say anything and I was like okay I was like
well you're gonna have to speak if you want to be up here and and then I
realized like oh man maybe this is a kid and you know he just doesn't want
to speak and it was a 13 year old kid who was at home up way too late I'm
not feeling good about who his parents are after after meeting him I gotta
say he he led me to believe he does not have parents who were who are doing their
jobs very well but that's besides the point he was a you know nice enough guy
just joined X that day I was the first space that he stumbled into so I was
like okay I was like I'm gonna teach you the ropes and I was like cuz you might
stumble into other ones where people a you're not gonna be very nice B they
might try to take advantage you you know try to scam you whatever they're
gonna do I was like so don't fall for none of that either don't be clicking any
links don't you know all this shit I gave him gave him the whole run down and
actually was funny cuz he what you were father fondly I really yeah I was being
I was being pop a fine I was I was like you know I took him under my wing okay
took him under my wing I said yo man if you got questions you know you can
DM me I said but if it's questions about anything other than how all this works
I don't want any of that I was like don't send me no don't send me nothing
inappropriate I was like I ain't about that life my name ain't P Diddy you know
I'm not about it and so we had we had some good laughs and then we had
somebody in the space by the name of May who always gives Rocky thumbs down as
like a troll joke and she's actually a really good singer as well but so like
we were making this joke about how we all needed to thumbs down rocky and we
we legitimately were thumbs downing him the whole space for like 10 minutes it
was just straight thumbs downs for rocky and then Devin taught this kid that like
oh by the way if somebody follows you back and you follow them you can send
them private thumbs downs as much as you want and all of a sudden rocky comes
on he's like bro he hasn't stopped in 20 minutes like it's and I was like oh
that's cuz he's 13 and he's got nothing better to do than just hit this
thumbs down and he so he spammed rocky with thumbs down for the entire rest of
the space was for like an hour and a half fucking hilarious like I was that's
awesome oh my gosh Papa fun do made a friend that's so funny well I don't
know if I made a friend but I you know and she's you know I it's I felt like
you gotta show the ropes cuz then there's there's fucking terrible people on
these spaces sometimes I've been in some horrible spaces before where I'm just
like what the fuck am I listening to you so yeah I yeah 100% I was good well on
the pork you try to start a space right after I closed mine I felt bad cuz I was
like oh now you're gonna learn that you know that's not how it works like you're
you know you could try but that ain't gonna that ain't gonna go well that kid
and just walking in and then you sang a fucking country song on do you sing
country oh yeah well so I asked him because I asked you know I was like oh do
you like music you know what what kind of music do you like and he's like oh I
like country and I only know really like three country songs that are not Taylor
Swift you know and Taylor Swift is already borderline you know she's like
pop country so I played Chris Stapleton Tennessee whiskey for him and he's like
oh my god I knew that song I was like oh yeah yeah so you know had to bring him
in I told I said you stumbled into the right space I said you ended up in a
space with a bunch of musicians and so I was like this is the right group to be
around you know there's a lot of shitty groups you could end up in on spaces
but like you ended up in a good one somehow just luck of the draw wild
send by the men listen if he stumbles any stumbles in I'm not making a habit of
inviting 13 year olds did to follow me around everywhere you know look he got
his pop a fondue moment I gave him I gave him the information that I could he
had a good time but yeah no I'm like if I listen if I wanted to be surrounded
by children I just go and move back to Florida and spend lots of time with my
nieces and nephews who are like seven and ten you know so it's risky out here
listen it's risky business out here making friends with children especially in
this day and age everybody thinks you're a fucking psychopath so yeah no I know
I'm not bringing them in if he shows up but no it is good of you if you're so
awesome I mean I have two sons so I understand really that kids should not
been in that space I mean you should not like kids it was one in the morning
well and he said he's like oh my parents took me out of school to home
school me I was like oh boy you're you're in trouble bro I was like that's
gonna be that's gonna be rough cuz a lot of that is is just like pure you
know home indoctrination they don't want you to be indoctrinated at school they
just want to indoctrinate you at home so it's like you know it's special you
don't get and I don't know where do you learn your social skills if you're not
put through like the public school system or a private school system or so
like where the fuck are you gonna learn your social skills I don't know
I feel like it only makes sense if it's like the Amish and they have like
children and they're like yeah I'm homeschooling my children and they're
gonna learn how to milk cows and make bread like that shit makes sense to me
fuck yeah absolutely put little Billy on the tractor at six years old he's good
to go you can go get the hay it's fine you know I feel like that shits that's
totally that's totally simpler times yeah simpler times guys let's get the
show on the road how does that sound I mean I think we want to hear this
song from you at least it seems like it seems like we're we're starting you know
all the spaces have actually been pretty slow paced the last two weeks I
feel like everything's been like Mercury is in Gatorade yeah it's something
there's something yeah maybe it's that it's there's definitely something in
the air right now nobody you know nobody doing what they usually do so you know
you never know mela this could just be a mela and fondue show all night you know
we don't know what's gonna happen okay that's I wasn't ready for that but I can
I'm surprised it's actually decently into my bubble bubble bubble what should I
play those are my favorites okay okay okay okay okay okay okay one second I'm
gonna see you hear how not excited she is about it I'm excited I'm trying to get
Dakota's attention he's outside smoking a joint and I want him to come play the
song cuz we're practicing if he's smoking a joint that's not happening oh he's
coming hey like I knocked on the window and he's confused and that's how you get
a man to come and and listen as you confuse them if you would just ended
that sentence there I was gonna fucking die because that was a long pause all
right that was a long pause and and I was like oh my god is mela really
pulling out the cum joke this early I wish decoder heard that whole sentence he
only heard the tail end of that one do you want to play one thing not you with
me not really please I'm putting you on the spot Dakota Dakota if you don't
we're gonna keep making cum jokes the rest of the night all right so please
like something to help us change course those are my kind of jokes you just
missed you just missed your girl making a good one I don't even think she meant
to do it she just had a long pause between some words in a sentence and
already this is the way too baked version of this
song perfect
you don't know me like you
And I'm sorry but I don't think you ever will
No, you don't know the full truth
And it's funny that you seem to think you do
So I got one thing on my mind
I got one thing on my mind
I've got one thing on my mind
And it's not you
You don't need me like you seem to
Trust me, baby, I can't be the one to pull you through
You just tease me and you make me feel so small
So why should I be you on a pedestal?
So I got one thing on my mind
I've got one thing on my mind
I've got one thing on my mind
And it's not you, no, it's not you, no
I've got one thing on my mind
I've got one thing on my mind
I've got one thing on my mind
And it's not you
guess I'm just better at some love songs. In fact, I don't think that I've ever been
because just when I feel like it's my time to fall, you come around and prove that I was better on my
own, because I've got one thing on my mind, I've got one thing on my mind, I've got one thing on my
mind, and it's I, you know it's not, you know, I've got one thing on my mind, I've got one thing on my
mind, I've got one thing on my mind, and it's I. Cool. Thank you.
Wow. Okay, so I haven't heard you guys. I've seen pictures of you guys playing together,
but I haven't heard you guys play together yet. That was fucking beautiful.
Thank you. He's running away. Thank you. That was fun. That's a boiler room, I guess.
Yeah, not you guys. That's what it is. I heard you call it some other name. I thought you were
about to play something else. I was like, you know, what fucking song is she playing? I thought
we're playing boiler room. And then I remembered you're still convinced that you're going to be
able to name this song whatever name you had for it. You know, I don't even remember what it was
because it's just boiler room.
Okay, I I'm leaning towards switching the name only because I know if I don't switch the name,
I will forever get shit from Oh, we're gonna fudge you. We're gonna fudge you every day.
You can release it however you want. Like this, you're the artist, you do whatever you want.
But I promise you, we're gonna fudge you for the rest of your life over the name.
Oh, my gosh, it's not a bad name. It really isn't. Not. It's not bad at all. I will tell you, so
we brought somebody to the stage. Well, you did because I don't have the coho spot yet. But
Nachi is a good pal. He, he's part of the group that actually gave me a stage to play on early
on when I came into spaces. And, you know, he and I are definitely going to work on some stuff
here as, as time goes on. He's a really, really talented musician. Nachi, you trying to?
Yeah, no, I wanted to come and plug our coming space because I think it's cool for
what I'm doing. Oh, nice. Because I'm donating my time with kids where I'm at my new space.
I'm an old man musician. Like, I'm playing with a new band here in the space and only location,
but more country. They're starting to, I'm trying to inject more punk into our sound.
But more of the kids, like, inspired me and what you guys are doing like that. I'm talking about
younger kids are learning music because I, I give my time, I give musicians,
I give them instruments or fund them instruments. But so I wanted to do something on space where
they could listen to eventually. It's about just how songwriters actually think through when they're
writing a song. Does a hook come first? Are they writing around the hook? Or did a poem
come first? Or just to have a discussion like a singer songwriter night, like a rock contour,
like a showcase where you just got to show up with your instrument and your voice and talk about,
because we're not going to do like collaborative writing. Like I want to do that eventually.
That's harder to do over online. But, you know, this is more about, hey, how does a songwriter
cause like Fondue takes some really interesting beaded songs into his guitar and now has to like
change the rhythm, then change the phrasing. That's like a super cool talent. That's original
to me in a lot of ways. I mean, words his or not, because it's so flipped upside down. So
when I first heard Fondue come into my space, like being an older musician and having my time
and doing my time all over the place and played many places in New York. So bless you. I do not
MVU now, but I did then. So have fun here out there. They can get wild. Just kick them in the
face. Just spit on them and kick them in the face. You're tough. But no, but it's a great rock
town and it's got great rock culture, a singer songwriter culture. And especially when you
get like in Harlem and in evolving Bronx has a lot of good spaces too. So all around this country,
if we can get the technology, when we're all in these virtual love wetsuits of music,
you still have to show up and play. And I think there's a day coming when we'll have pimp radio up
in the cloud and people get to hang out because there's ego, like I'm fucking going to be god of
the stage music that won't go away because people want it. Like, yeah, you want the best of the
best. But then there's like campfire music, right? So then there's like the music that
is the soul of everybody singing together. And there's there's legacy, like choirs and
choruses of voices sung. So we want to do that with multiple different artists. I'm trying to
get my friends to get on and Fawn and Mel and I'd love anybody else to participate that wouldn't
normally participate even if they're using your account just to talk people through like
it ain't easy to write a song. That's kind of what I'm saying. First and second,
not only is it not easy to write a song, it's not easy to share your original material because
it's so raw and usually that original song comes from an original experience.
And so talking through how to get through like that part is super cool. And so I just want to
be the old old man in the room supports everybody. And I just love the song. I love the song you
guys just played. I love the controlled discipline of the guitar I'm hearing in the background. Those
are left good left hand good disciplines and and and I just love good musical discipline.
So I'll credit that young man. I don't know who that is in the background. He did a great job.
Yeah, that's pretty hard to like get play behind that disc. Like he did a great job like fitting
into her like and and really still featuring her and he had the skill to feature himself,
but he still featured her. So great job to that young man. Honorable musician to feature the
singer and do that kind of stuff. It's just little things like that. It's not even because
that guy could have just gone probably ripped on fucking fires. But we just didn't have him plugged
in. I'm sure he had. Yeah, for sure. I could feel it. And I'm like, it's just cool. He's not
so he's like get high. Let me get let me play. And that's super cool. And I love that. I love
that about all you. But we have to keep the music going in the essence of if music online,
this part of it is going to exist, which is still an interesting scientific lab experiment.
But it should it should come with like helping each other out, right? And that's what I hope to
hope to do help promote your success because where I'm in my music careers, I just want to see you
all be very successful and doing what you're doing and in any way that I can.
Except for playing piano, I can't do that right now. But other than that,
and do most anything right now, we'll get to piano one day. But yeah, if you want to hear
the old man thing around here, but you guys play, I'll just I'm just hanging out.
Oh, if you well, look, if you want to play, we'd love to have you play. I can tell you that right
now. I speak for the other day. I just experiment because I did a live kind of thing. A showcase
of somebody like these guys are big country song. You guys will probably figure out maybe
potentially who this is. Maybe you won't. It's kind of hidden. But well, and before
you play, I do the one thing that we want to mention. So me and not here are doing this space.
We're Monday night, right? Monday or Thursday? I didn't know which one you wanted to do.
Whatever day you want. Are you Monday? Yeah, yeah, Monday. Monday, we're doing for me.
Monday's on. So Monday. And then what time? Six o'clock. Is that your that's your time?
Okay, so six, six, six p.m. And maybe do these monthly. Just artist check in a place
for artists. And maybe, you know, there's times like fondue, you know, he can write a lot of
good shit. But sometimes, you know, he's not hearing something. Maybe you can hit and I can
hear something. And he's done the same thing for me. And we've learned that. And it's happened
online, which is super cool. It's led to even one of his first minted, like the bridge was super
fucking awesome. I didn't write it. All I just said, dude, is there's just one more piece you
got to do. And he did it. And it's fucking awesome. That's like sometimes all we need.
Like that's the cool collaboration. Just somebody saying, dude, that's sexy stuff.
This is a very narcissistic society. So it's very important that we try to step outside
ourselves and really work on. And this is to myself because I was a performer, helping each
other because that's how things really, really progressing get awesome. And performing is super
hard. So like what Mel has to go do and expressing like that's not and Fawn's been on stage. It's not
easy to be on stage. Super hard, super taxing to your emotions and everything. So we got to
support each other, have a place where you could just say, fuck, this is so hard because it is
hard. Why do you think there are so many addicts that are in the industry? Because it's not easy
to do if that's what you choose to do. It is very hard. And I pray and I am for all of your
success. So I'll play the song. I've been just playing around, like just injecting some of my
lyrics around originals like I like to do because because I can, I guess when that kiss you in the
face, freedom shows up.
You'll find me raising my hands up, raising my hands up for more.
When that lightning strike, both freedom hits you to the core.
Fuck man, you'll see me raising my voice right with you, right to the Lord.
Wake me up when the season's gone, cause I've wasted all my thoughts on you.
So what do I do? Oh, what do I do?
I get fucked up just cause I'm scared. Love's just a not fat drug. I've grown a victim too.
So what do I do? Oh, what do I do?
They say all is fair and love is war. So what the hell are we even fighting for?
I'm on the front porch begging for my dog's back. Give me my goddamn records and my clothes back
cause I'm through who I'm through. And by the time she wakes, I'll be halfway to my mama's house.
It just dawned on me. Life is as fleeting as the passing dawn.
And it was my mistake cause she never said a thing about Jesus.
I miss my mother's southern draw and her prayer through the walls in the evening.
So go ahead, please, give me my dawn's back.
Everything that dies makes its way home back. I lost a little heart attack.
I need just one small victory. Oh, give me my dawn's back.
Everything that dies makes its way home back. I lost her last July heart attack.
I need one small victory.
When that kiss you in the face, freedom shows up, you know.
It's real and you'll find me raising my hands up, raising my hands up for more.
You know, it's like lightening that freedom when it hits everyone at the core.
You'll find me right in the center in the circle, raising my voice with you right on too.
Wake me up when the season's gone, cause I've wasted all my dawns on you.
So what do I do? What do I do?
By the time he wakes, I'll be halfway to my best friend's home.
It just dawned on me life is as fleeting as his passing dawn.
And I should have told him twice, I believe in something bigger than both of us.
I miss going out to bars, shooting stars, not going about what is after us.
Yeah, you can just give me my dawn's back.
Everything that dies makes its way home back. I lost her last July heart attack.
You know I need just one small victory. Everything that makes it
home. When I kiss you in your face, freedom shows up.
You'll find me raising my hands up, raising my hands up for more.
When I kiss you in the freedom, like right to your core,
lightening shake up for more shows up. You know I'll be raising my voice, raising my voice.
And then when I got fucked up just cause I'm scared of love,
just another drug I've grown a victim to.
So what do I do? What do I do?
That was awesome, Nosh.
Absolutely. Beautiful. So much emotion, man.
Passions, passion, emotion, everything we got. We gotta spill it out.
I hear it in you, so you can say to me what sticks on you, what sticks on me I guess,
or whatever that goes, you say.
I think that's an I'm rubber your glue joke.
Yeah, but I'm out like.
Yeah, your emotional passion too, I am too, sticks on your going and everything.
Yeah, man. No, phenomenal, phenomenal. I'm excited to do this space with you on Mondays.
We'll do like once a month, check it. Just a pulse check. What are you writing? What do you
want to test out? Like I'm really probably just going to just listen as much as I can and
be a part of like and even learning how to record when you're on the road, like tips,
fawns, found a good little system with iRig Duo and you know just how to
you know record some of your ideas if you haven't done that before.
Some of that stuff, help the arc go forward.
Yeah, it's going to be fun and I'm excited to see who who comes through for it.
And you know, just in general excited. I mean, not you, I've missed I've missed being in the
spaces with you guys, you know, I mean, you know how it goes. You had your, you know,
you try to be all over the place and it's and you can only be stretched so thin. So yeah,
when you reached out to me about that, I was really, I was really stoked. I was like,
okay, cool. That'll give us at least something even once a month. I mean, that's once a month
is a great commitment because it's, it's not too much. It's just a check in lab. And if it needs
to be more, it will, but just like this, I don't know what you can call it yet, but I'll call it
something like just a songwriter lab or, you know, I don't know, we'll come up with a name.
I'll come with a name something first. We'll just discuss it in the beginning, but it really should
I just my vision for it is just to be where performing artists can get some tips, maybe some
sound tips, different things that I've learned just playing piano, whatever it is, like you
want your backing structure to sound good and not, you know, and depending on the size of any
that's important. Like there's all kinds of advice we can give to people based upon our
level of experience. And I don't even have the top level experience. More people have other level
experience. So it's just bringing that to the forefront. It's why it's important to me is
because they're trying to take kids away from learning music, yo. And so like,
that music theory gets taken away from our kids. And it's just small pockets. They're just
going to have a limited amount of voices singing songs and playing in the future. And that's
not good. So my goal, my mission is just to invest into the reproduction of who can make music and
you guys are like doing it. So I just want to be that channel where hey, how do you how do you
check in? How do you continue to reproduce help people be better? Because a lot of people say,
hey, I'll remember you when I get there. And that was the old story of the famous one before
there was a get there or anything, because there was no social media. But it was like,
they were so wrapped up in the devil's horns. They didn't even know where they were
again once they got on that side. Oh, man. So at least I mean, we're learning a lot about what's
coming forward today that hey, can we get a real good cleansing around art and around control
around control of art. And you can see how important art is based on what's happening in
the news today, man. So it says there's there's need for true people to say no,
no, no, no, no, no, no. And I'm still gonna write my art. I'm still gonna do the thing. So
and I think the right youth are doing that here online. So keep going. Keep fuel on the fire.
Pimp radio. Love it. And radio. Let's fucking go. Love it. Well, thank you for coming through.
Thank you for performing. And we hope to hear more of you tonight. We'll see how
tonight goes. If anybody wants to repost the room, or if you know any artists that would like
to come through and play. No, no, no, not if you want to fucking do it. Or we're sending the attack.
Okay, we're doing we're sending the attack pigeons.
Um, cool. So let's push forward. We've got the one the only Tommy D. And I know it's very
late over there for you. So wow, thank you for coming through. How are you?
I'm good. I'm good. I'm good. I'm just you know, finishing off a bit of work. There's a lot to
organize for next week. So I've just got you guys going on. And I just want to say you are
you looking forward to performing next week? It's great to have you. I've got to say we're so so
honored that you can come play. It's brilliant. Absolutely. I'm so excited. And I am honored to
be on the bill. So thank you for having me. For those of you who don't know, Tommy is hosting
a lot of artists performing on the main stage, one of the main stages at the NFT NYC event next
week. And I will be performing on Thursday. But there's a ton of amazing musicians performing.
So if anybody is going to be around New York City next week, then please come through.
Yeah, no, you have to be registered. So you have to be at the because it's actually in the
conference. It's actually in NFT NYC. Right. You have to be so if you're going to be at
the conference, come along and see us. We'll be we've got artists performing from midday through to
about six every day. And as Mel said, we've got Violetta is playing Emma Miller, TK Jazile,
Nessie, Cristiano Covino, Tony Parisi. Oh, God, I forgot off time got it in front of me now.
I just shut my laptop. Dave G. Yeah, I mean, oh, Bryson Cyrus is playing Miley's brother.
So many, so many people, 34 different artists. We've got it's amazing. And it's so much work to
organize this type of thing is so daunting and difficult. It's a lot of work. So I appreciate
you. Thank you so much. No, I think it's going to be really good. And there's loads of other
events going on and stuff like that will be really, really like, I just think it's going
to be a good one this year. I've got a real good feeling about it. I think there's a good
energy back in the space and people are a bit more excited. And yeah,
I think it's going to be really, really cool. So I'm looking forward to meeting you
properly as well, you know. Yeah, same. Oh, my God. And I feel like I picked a really good year
to come out to NFT NYC. I've done Miami. I've done Austin for consensus. And I never got a chance to
do NFT NYC yet. So I'm very excited that this is the year I'm doing. And it seems like like you
said, like it just seems like there's a good energy about this year. So especially with how
the market's looking, everybody's all excited and happy. And yeah, bull run vibes for sure.
And I just think, you know, like, for me, you know, it started back in 22 when we did the event
around NFT London. And we did a whole day of artists performing. And for me, the whole thing
is like, you know, everyone bangs on about obviously the art NFT scene being huge,
and how music NFTs haven't really got their thing. And I think that's partly because
people don't present music NFTs in the way that is most powerful, which is actually
it's just performing, you know, just reminding people that music is made by human beings,
and having those human beings perform it on stage. I think that really gives like some kind
of human element to it, you know, and everyone's obviously get lost in the PFP projects and the
mean coins and the shit coins and all that and the degenerate, but actually seeing real musicians
performing up there, and then them talking about their experiences are using this new
emerging technology, I think is really powerful. And I think, you know, we did it again,
last year, we did it block down festival, hosted a stage there hosted a stage at Zebu London,
which was a big conference. And it just there's something about it. It just makes people kind
of go, Oh, right, music NFTs. Yeah, that's a thing, right? You know, people suddenly start talking
about it. And it's just just quietly pushing away, trying to chip in a way, trying to get people to
get more enthusiastic and understand it as a real value to musicians using this technology
in a different way. It's community building. That's what the whole thing is all about is
about community building and understanding how you can use this technology to manage communities
in a more efficient way than maybe, you know, using a Patreon or email or subscription, that
kind of model. A lot of discussion about that recently, obviously, with James Blake and what
he did. But, you know, just being able to remind people that there are real human beings
behind these projects. And not only are there real human beings, but they're fucking talented
human beings as well. That just gives it just that little extra nudge that reminds people that there's
other ways of doing things in this space than just meme coins.
Absolutely. Yeah, I totally agree with you. And the the in real life experience of consuming music
or discovering an artist, I don't think anything will ever replace that feeling.
It's like the true connection that you get between an audience and a performer
that I don't think is replaceable in any form. So utilizing it because it is such a precious thing,
utilizing it as a form of marketing ourselves is just so important. Right.
So and we've had this conversation just you and I before where it's important
as an artist to, you know, develop your performance, like develop what is it that
makes you you? Why? Why is someone going to stand and watch your entire performance?
You know, so I think that's a skill that is like just really important to exercise and
utilize as promotion. So I'm excited that this is what is being focused on right now.
So thanks, Tommy. Appreciate you. No, it's my pleasure. I'm going to I'm going to jump down,
but this and have a great space, make some great music, and I'll see you next week.
Whoo. Oh, my God. I'm so excited. It hasn't really set in that I'm driving out to New York
in what is it? Four or five days now. So very, very stoked. So yeah, thank you again.
Let's let's push on. And I have a feeling we're going to have some great music tonight here in
Pimp Radio. We have the one and the only and the lovely Kara up here with us. How are you?
Oh, hello. Hey, guys. How's it going? Good. Good. We're doing fantastic. I don't have a hangover.
Oh, God. Despite despite drinking a lot yesterday, I do not have a hangover. I was wondering about
you last night. So, I don't know if you know, but we had a space. It started at eight. We pushed it
back an hour. And this space ran. I dipped out, I think, at like hour mark, four and a half,
because I had to get up to go to the office. And Fondue kept it open until like, I don't know,
1 a.m. or something. EST. So like another good hour and a half to two after I left. And he had
moved on to whiskey because he didn't have any more wine. He wanted to open up and drink. And at the
time, the highlight for me in the space was there was someone who was requesting profile had like
zero followers, learned that it was like a 13 year old kid named what Rod G or Rod B or I don't
remember. It was Rob. Yeah, we we did a whole we did a whole bit about about the 13 year old
early in the space here. It was hilarious because Fondue was asking him questions and asking him what
kind of music he likes. And then he started playing him a song. And I was like, Oh man,
I have to go. And then that space carried on in my absence for a long time. So I am very happy
to hear that you do not have a hangover. That is impressive. I mean, it's easy when you don't have
to wake up early for work, right? Like I have to wake up early and take care of the dog. But
yeah, I feel like the hangover sets in when you have like a lot to do. Like I had I had to make
what I did 22 shirts today for an order, a shirt order that we got. But like that,
that wasn't very labor intensive. And I was able to start it whenever I felt like it. So
yeah, but no, no, I'm surviving. I will survive. That's good. That's very good to hear.
Proud of you. Oh, my gosh. Yeah, he, he told us about the 13 year old. And then
we kind of told we reminded ourselves that we can invite 13 year olds to the space because
that would be creepy. I don't know. They can wander in on their own. They can wander in.
But we can't be like giving outreach to them to be like, Oh, come hang out with this kid,
honestly. Okay, it's actually really funny. I used to laugh about this all the time. There was this
kid that used to show up and actually probably still does. But at the time he was quite young.
He was I think around the same same age, like 13, 14 years old. And he used to go into spaces
that were like purely D gen spaces that were just talking about crypto and NFTs. And what's
the next big project? Where should I? What should I ape today type thing, right? And
I always found it like, like, I was kind of like the person in the room that was looking around,
like, is no one else finding this weird that like, you guys are essentially giving financial advice
to a 13 year old boy right now? No one else is finding this questionable? Come on. But
well, I'm sure they said, I mean, look, I'm sure they said NFA DIY are and so they're just off
scotch free, you know, you don't got to worry about after you. That's literally whenever anybody
says NFA DIY are, you know that they're about to give financial advice with no. Yeah, pretty much.
Yeah. It's, it's funny. Like, I just find it funny. Because it's like, come on, guys,
have some class. But it is what it is. At least fondue wasn't, you know, he was genuinely trying
to look out for the kid, which is important in these spaces, because as we know, there's some
pretty fucked up people out there. Very true. Yeah, he did a very good job at that, too. It's funny,
because he was telling him before he came up, he's like, if you spam the space, the nest with
pornography and, you know, pics or whatever. Oh, no, I just went straight. I said, if I said,
I swear, if you put dicks up in our fucking jumbotron, I'm gonna lose it. Like, I'm gonna
fucking lose. I was trying to keep it a little bit. I don't know, low key with what I was saying
there. But that's exactly what I said. I just listen, I got I don't hide who I am.
That's exactly what I said, because that I just want to be honest, right off the bat,
that that is that was my biggest fear was that someone was zero followers and following zero
people was going to spam our jumbotron with dicks. And I was gonna have to spend the next
hour deleting them out of the jumbotron. That's a very valid fear. Fair enough.
Yep, did not happen. So that was good.
Sorry, I'm like, so Kara, do you think you want to play? Yeah, yeah, I do. Yeah,
I have a song. I have a song. I've been practicing this one. And I think,
fine, you probably heard it like once. I haven't played it that much. But this is going to be
a cover song of five seconds of summer. And it's called Youngblood.
Remember the words you told me, love me till the day I die.
You used to call me baby, yeah, you're calling me by name.
Yeah, you're calling me baby, yeah, you're calling me baby, yeah, you're calling me baby.
Youngblood, do you want me? Do you want me? Out of your life, and I'm just on air.
They're walking tonight, but you need it, and you need it, all of the time.
Youngblood, do you want me? Do you want me? Back in your life, and I'm just on air.
Barely from there tonight, if I need it, yeah, I need it, all of the time.
Barely a conversation, act like I'm a mastermind.
One of us cats told John to come back upon his eyes.
Oh, you've been calling baby, nobody could take my place.
Looking out for strangers, homes are gonna stick in my face.
Pushing, you're pushing, I'm pulling away, pulling away from you.
Give and I give and I give and you take, give and you take.
Running around and I'm running away, running away from you.
Pushing, you're pushing, I'm pulling away, pulling away from you.
Give and I give and I give and you take, give and you take.
Youngblood, do you want me? Do you want me? Out of your life, and I'm just on air.
Barely from there tonight.
That was amazing.
Oh, thank you so much.
Beautiful.
Thank you, Mella.
Sorry, I was trying not to talk over you, Fondue, because I saw your chat.
I know, it's all right, and she didn't give me any credit for telling her it was great.
Oh, I didn't hear you.
I know, I know, it's okay, it's okay. I accept that I'm not that important.
Oh, of course you are, Fondue, thank you so much, I appreciate it.
No, I'm literally just fucking with you. No, that was great, Cara.
That was really great. You sounded really comfortable, too, which is always nice.
I know sometimes you're not always comfortable on stage, so really, really cool to hear you
settling in and getting more and more comfortable.
You sound like you've had sedentary mushrooms or something, dude.
It's probably the wine.
That was really good, man.
Listen, I am drinking a Kona Big Wave tonight. This episode is unofficially sponsored by Kona
Big Wave, because the guy who paid me to do these shirts, he felt bad for me.
With Kona Big Wave, is that the ale?
This is the Liquid Aloha. Kona Big Wave, I think is their ale.
It's the ale, right?
To be honest, it's the best one.
Oh, is it beer?
It's the best one.
Yeah, yeah, it is a beer. He felt so bad for being such a pain in the ass that he's like,
oh, what kind of beer do you like to drink? I got real specific.
I was like, oh, I want Kona Big Wave. You're going to get me beer.
Ladies and gentlemen.
At least get me what I know I want to drink.
Unofficially sponsored by Aloha.
Nachi, you would love the Tuesday night space, because my whole bit is that our
whole space is unofficially sponsored by whatever wine maker.
Whatever you're unofficially sponsored by.
Yeah, yeah.
Well, but I tag them.
But I tag them in everything.
Does anybody ever do bum wine as a sponsor?
Unofficially sponsored by Night Train?
You should have like...
No, no, it's always...
Why does the bum wine get me sponsored?
People are drinking that.
They need sponsors.
Fondue, please say the unofficial sponsor from last night,
the Spanish wine in your Italian accent.
Ah, fuck. What was it?
What was it? It was Viejo.
Campo Viejo.
Oh, it's the Campo Viejo.
We are drinking that Rio, ha.
Tempradillo.
See, I didn't even forget today.
Like, I didn't butcher it all night.
I just, I kept doing it with an Italian accent,
which was fucking hilarious, because it was from Spain.
And yeah, that was like the whole,
that was the whole bit of the night.
Normally, the bit of the night is that I pick wines
that I can barely pronounce.
And so by halfway through the night,
I've butchered it so bad.
There was one...
God, what was the one, what was the one
that I was doing that I, like, I wasn't even...
You're on a trigonometry at the end.
Yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah, I got, yeah.
I got so far away from what the name was
that I felt bad that I even, I felt bad.
I even called them our unofficial sponsor
because I had tagged them in it.
And I was like, man, if they ever listened back
to the space, they're gonna be like,
what a fucking asshole.
He got this name wrong like a hundred times.
But my goal is to eventually get that space sponsored
by a winery, either local or from afar.
We'll see how it goes.
But we just keep building it and having a good time.
That's all I really care about.
Like, you know, come in, let's have a good time.
We all like to see Fawn, you know,
get a little buzzed and see what he's gonna say.
You know, is he gonna go off on Sound XYZ and David?
Is he not?
You know, is he gonna get the whole space
to thumbs down Rocky all night?
I don't know.
We just don't know what's gonna happen.
But that's the fun of it.
So every Tuesday night, it's like a great,
it's a great warmup for our Wednesday night
pimp radio space, you know,
because it's not a music show space.
You can come show your music because I say it every time
that it's not a music show space
and then we end up like shilling our music all night.
But, you know, it's, yeah, it's come hang out
on Tuesday nights and then this coming Monday.
Kara, you should definitely,
if you're available on Monday, you know,
you were expressing a little bit of angst
with writing original music.
And I think that this space that me and Nachi
are gonna do on Monday
is gonna be very beneficial for that.
So anyway, I'm gonna shut up now
and let Mella host a little,
unless she's smoking weed, in which case I'll.
No, I'm not.
I'm currently being attacked by my cat.
She wants to cuddle so badly.
She's just like pushing on my face.
Luna, it's fine.
I'm not going anywhere.
I'm gonna be here all night, all night.
Oh, I can hear her purring.
She's so cute.
It's ridiculous.
Yeah, I feel like I don't know what I was gonna say.
You know what we need to do?
We need to get some music up in here.
That's what we gotta do.
I see we have two new speakers on the stage.
We've got Safi and Wen.
Wen put his hand up.
And I know he doesn't want to share any music.
That's weird.
Yeah, he put his hand up.
Yeah, I know he doesn't.
He might want to share some music.
I doubt it.
But if he does, we'll figure it out.
But I think he just wants to say what up.
What's up?
How's it going?
Hi, Mela.
Thanks for respecting the hand.
I came up before that incredible performance
of that incredible song to give a shout out to Carter,
that 13-year-old that we all used to give financial advice to
who still comes in spaces now and is like 15 or 16
and gives all of us financial advice on all the new farms
coming up on Solana.
He's the one that gave me the Alpha on Deflow.
He gave me Alpha on Getgrass.
He gave me the Alpha on Uprock.
I used his ref code on all three of those back during Epoch 1.
Yeah, he's still around, and he's doing great.
He's now getting us in the bus.
I'm glad to hear that.
I'm really glad to hear that, actually.
I was always just so worried that this kid had his parents'
credit card or something and was just like
about to do something terrible for his family.
I don't know that him telling everybody about the farming
means that he's not using his parents' credit cards.
Let's just be clear.
He could still be using his parents' credit cards.
He's probably funding his parents' credit card right now.
He's an unofficial ambassador for Clano
because he's too young to be officially employed by them,
but he's employed by a Pixar-related NFT collection.
He's doing really well for himself.
And yeah, just this 13-year-old kid, actual 13-year-old,
that's just genius and used to hang out in
degen spaces that he really shouldn't have been in,
but made the best of it.
That's awesome.
I love it.
I love it, love it, love it.
Safie, how are you?
Ace queen, what up, melody, what up, fondue.
I have a bone to pick with fondue.
I feel personally attacked because I heard him say earlier
the only people that get hangovers
are poor people that drink frenzy.
And I just feel really judged.
And because if I didn't have a job,
I wouldn't get, if I wasn't a pleb
and I didn't have to get up early,
I wouldn't have a hangover.
So you're saying?
You're just talking about get your box one without sulfites,
just pure firebox.
OK, I was wondering how you landed on
that I said something about poor people not getting hangovers.
Because I was like, how the hell did you say that?
I was like, roll the tapes back, roll them back,
because I never said that.
As plebeians only, no, you didn't say that,
but I think I just feel guilty because.
Yeah, but maybe I implied it.
I mean, I accidentally implied it, I guess,
like it wasn't I didn't purposely imply it.
But hearing you say that back in that way,
I'm like, oh, maybe maybe that was what I was.
Luckily, I don't drink wine.
I'm a I'm a 420 fan.
So I wouldn't know about that life either way.
I just thought it was funny to teach you.
He could have gone to like Magdom.
Like he could have gone really deep into poverty zone.
He could have gone like you get it on the straight up street
paper beer, but he didn't.
He didn't.
So he kept in the mail somewhere.
Well, I have a bone to pick with you.
Is it not she?
Oh, it's not with me.
Yeah, I love that.
Let's pick some.
I like it.
It's like a vampire.
So my bone to pick with you is how you going to represent
M.D. 20, but not for five hours of 35.
What's up with that?
Well, cold 45, just the M.D.
You were kind of rugged.
I don't know if you heard.
I didn't hear the whole thing.
I hear cold 45.
And you guys really know how to.
You all know how to ignore us when the when the.
No, no cold 45.
Are you serious?
That's an important.
Yeah, come on.
We're going to do M.D.
Listen, I blame you on the ball to understand.
Drink a couple of balls and see how you do.
I mean, right.
I mean, if you drink a couple of balls,
drink an eight balls now.
What are we drinking?
Oh, I thought you said we're drinking.
You drink two eight ball, 40 ounces and like a couple.
You're fucked up, dude.
I don't care.
Oh, those are different.
I was thinking different eight balls.
Yeah, okay.
If you add that eight ball in with the other eight ball.
Holy shit.
That's how problems happen.
That's how people die.
That's what happens.
People start not finding advice.
I wouldn't mind doing it.
I think my I like this song.
Wait, wait, wait.
Did you just say you wouldn't mind?
Did you say you wouldn't mind going?
I've been rugging all day.
I don't know what's going up if my phone's preparing
for this eclipse.
But boo, is it still doing that?
I guess I'm not going to do this song.
No, you're good.
No, it says I lost connection.
I think and it sounds like there's like a significant delay.
I feel like there's a big delay happening here.
All right.
Well, I'll test it another night.
Maybe next week I want to take a poll
because the song that I like the most,
I think is a little too whimsical.
And I don't worry.
People might not take me seriously.
I may have done it.
I don't know if I've done it in spaces.
Can I pet that dog?
But I just don't want to get.
Do you want to drop down and then come back up
just to kind of reset?
Yeah, I'll try.
But I've had crappy internet all day.
So I might end up doing it next week.
Are you trying?
Well, wait, are you trying to perform live?
Or are you trying to press play?
Because I can press play for you.
No, it's not recorded yet.
That's why I have to use my I'm balling on a budget.
So I have to use my studio dollars wisely
and do piece of meal for now.
So I'm trying to figure out,
do I want to spend the money on to do this song
only for me not to use it right away?
I think I definitely want to record it
and put it on a project.
But I don't know if it's like a good first song
because it's kind of funny and playful.
And I don't want people to think I'm well,
I don't want them to know I'm a goofy broad.
So got to hide it a little bit.
So I don't know.
I'll try to drop down.
But if it don't work, I'll just wait for another night.
But I've been enjoying the combo, you guys.
You're funny.
Safi, you got to be you.
Don't be afraid to be you.
I love that you're a little goofy and you're serious.
And you got, you know, OK, I'm going to say this
for the first time on Spaces.
I'm sorry.
But you got this little sexy side to you too.
You know, you got like all of it going on.
So like, you know, don't be afraid to be you.
Somebody who appreciates the totality of you,
they're going to love that you've got some goofiness to you.
I appreciate that.
That was like the sweetest, most genuine compliment
I've got in a long time.
You're quite welcome.
Quite welcome.
All right.
Well, while Safi tries to de-rug herself,
what do we want to do, Melana?
Do we do you want to circle back to us
and we want to play some music?
Since I see lots of things in the space,
but it seems like everybody just wants to listen to us play.
They don't want to come and plug their dick, please.
Which I don't understand, guys.
Come on up and plug your music, please.
What I'm going to do, this is what we're going to do.
Fondue, if you don't mind playing a song,
while I pour myself a drink,
and then I'll play a song,
and we will hope that a bunch of musicians
are going to come up while we're doing that.
Yeah, we're going to get flooded with requests
as soon as I start playing.
They're like, oh, that's with this space.
That's right.
We're supposed to come up and plug our music, please.
Okay, any requests from anybody who's on stage?
A recommendation, a production recommendation
for the musicians in the room
when you record your music to incorporate a rug effect
as part of your production effects.
Throwing that in there.
The people that get it, that know you from Twitter spaces,
would get the joke,
and just having layers sporadically sputtering cut out.
Oh, my God.
Okay, I wasn't sure what you were talking about
when you said a rugging effect.
I was like, what are we going to,
are we going to ride a magic carpet, like Aladdin, or?
No, like, like rugging in Twitter spaces,
like the way a person would digitally rug,
or like that, that sputter cut out effect,
that would make a really interesting effect.
All the normies, all the normies would be like,
oh, this fucking asshole didn't even, like,
record his fucking song right,
and all the Twitter people would be like,
oh, I get it, I get it, it's artsy.
Okay, well, that was a great suggestion
that also wasn't helpful on the request line.
All right, I'm going to do this one.
I'm going to do, I'm going to do this one.
Play Slayer.
Oh, okay, well, okay, I'm not playing Slayer.
Go for it.
So I happened to listen back to a little bit of the space
that I missed when I was in South Carolina,
and I swear I heard you do a cover of Avril Lavigne, complicated?
Oh my god, did I do that?
Would that be something you could play?
Uh, it probably would.
That's funny.
I don't remember doing that.
I remember.
But that was one of Fawn's heavy whiskey nights, I'll tell you.
Fawn drank the whole bottle of wine in the first hour
and realized that he had no more wine to drink
very early in the space, and we ran for five hours.
Well, I only listened to like 30 minutes,
so it was one of two songs, I think, that you played.
And I was like, wow, I have that song,
and I tried it, but your version sounds way better.
Yeah, I mean, I guess it's okay.
Okay, all right, I got you.
All right, complicated by Avril Lavigne.
Let's go.
Chill out what you're yelling for.
Lay back, it's all been done before.
And if you could only let it be, then you would see.
I like you the way you are when we're driving in your car
and you're talking to me one-on-one
but you've become somebody else around everyone else.
You're watching your back like you can't relax.
You're trying to be cool.
You look like a fool to me.
Tell me what you got to go and make things so complicated.
See, you're acting like you're somebody else.
Get me frustrated and you fall and you crawl
and you break and you take what you get
and you turn it into honesty.
You promised me never going to find you faking.
No, no, no, no, no, no.
You've come over running out dressed up like you're something else
where you are, where it's at you see.
You're making me laugh out when you strike your pose.
Take off all your preppy clothes.
You know you're not fooling anyone.
You've become somebody else around everyone else.
You're watching your back like you can't relax.
You're trying to be cool.
You look like a fool to me.
Tell me what you got to go and make things so complicated.
You're acting like you're somebody else.
Get me frustrated life like this.
You fall and you crawl and you break
and you take what you get and you turn it into honesty.
You promised me I'm never going to find you faking.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Chill out what you're yelling for.
Lay back it's all been done before
and if you could only let it be
you would see somebody else around everyone else.
You're watching your back like you can't relax.
You're trying to be cool.
You look like a fool to me.
Tell me what you got to go and make things so complicated.
You're acting like you're somebody else.
Get me frustrated.
And you fall and you crawl and you break
and you take what you get and you turn it into honesty.
You promised me I'm never going to find you faking.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Why'd you got to go and make things so complicated?
See, when you act like you're somebody else
gets me frustrated.
Life's like this and you fall and you crawl and you break
and you take what you get and you turn it into honesty.
You promised me I'm never going to find you faking.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
No, no, no, no.
Something like that.
I loved it.
I love that song and you just made it your own
like you always do and now I love it even more.
Fondue, thank you.
That was so good.
I love the way you do that one.
I'm sure I'll love the way I do it more
when I practice it before I perform it.
But yeah, it's because like so especially songs
like that that I don't play very often.
Remembering the chords and the lyrics and like the transition.
I'm just like, oh, fuck, what am I about to do here?
So something, you know, it's fine.
It turned out it turned out fine.
There was only a couple parts that I was like, oh, fuck.
That's right.
That's what's coming up.
That was great.
It was hard to put you on the spot, but it was a good one.
I love the song.
No, it's listen, it's good.
I think sometimes I need to be put on the spot.
It helps me be prepared for live performances as a general rule.
And I'll usually be, you know, drinking just slightly less.
I don't know.
Some people love to drink when they perform live.
For me, it just fucks me up because like I I'll drink the whole night
and then by like the end of set one,
that's pretty much where things start to go downhill.
If I've been drinking, like I start forgetting chords
and even if I got lyrics in front of me,
I just forget what I'm playing.
I'm like, oh, what the fucking song was that playing?
You know, so, yeah, I like that.
But appreciate you.
Well, hey, appreciate you in the middle of this one.
That's a plus.
Oh, that's true.
I didn't I didn't cough.
I mean, look, when you cough in the middle of your own song,
that's pretty brutal.
And yeah, I did that pretty bad last night.
That was that was pretty serious.
Yeah, we're going to get a song from Mella here in a second,
but salty.
What's up, man?
How's it going?
I mean, it's it's going.
It's going.
We're we're getting a slow start.
I see lots of shy performers down there tonight.
You know, lots of people who I know make great music
that are just they're choosing to listen.
And so there must be, you know, like like Mella said,
Mercury's in Gatorade.
And so there's there's something up.
But yeah, yeah, you know, we're just kicking it like we do.
I'm debating on I mean, I got I got some prepared.
You know, I'm not comfortable with my vocals anymore,
but I am willing to try this.
Well, give it give it just you've got a few minutes
because we're going to Mel is Mel is in the background.
She hasn't unmuted yourself because she went to go
pour a drink.
But Mella is Mella is going to perform a song for us
and then salty.
You can be you can be next.
So yeah, get yourself ready.
And again, just a reminder, if you're a musician
in the audience and you like to play live
or if you like to press play, whatever, whatever
the answer is, feel free to hit the request line.
Okay, I think it was I think it was Miss Eliot
that said, you know, good.
Just go ahead and get on the request line
and come on up and plug your music, please.
Because look, as much as me and Mel are happy
to do a live performance for you, I'll tell you
the space will be a lot shorter.
If you guys just count on us to to play a show all night.
I don't I don't imagine we make it to midnight.
Maybe I don't know.
I guess we'll see how it goes.
But see, now we're getting the request.
But anyway, let's let Mel, let's let Mel plays a song.
I'll get Tim up here.
We'll get salty up after Mela.
Let's go.
I don't even need a spreadsheet tonight.
Like, come on, guys.
Make it make it hard on me at least.
Gin and ginger ale, guys.
That's the drink tonight.
I don't know what I want to play.
I've been sitting here trying to figure it out.
What about what about that?
You had a song that was minting that you took away from us forever.
You know, I feel like it had something to do
with moving your feet and leaking from your.
Oh, yeah, I literally forgot about that song.
Okay, I'll never let you forget about it, Mela.
Never just like I won't let you forget about boiler room.
Okay, okay, okay.
Okay, this is dancing cry, but the smoky jazz version
because Mel is tired and a little tipsy.
I guess I had this coming.
The rain was bound to fall, but I'm not ready.
How could you be steady?
I made a bed, but I can't sleep without you passing it up with me.
No, I'm not saying that funny.
I don't want to know.
Oh, I just got to know.
Does she make you laugh?
Does she make you cry?
Does she scratch your back?
Does she make you satisfied?
Oh, are you satisfied?
Does she know your past?
Does she know your dreams?
Would she give it all just to make you happy?
Oh, are you happy?
I know that I'm not perfect for you.
I really tried how to let you slip away.
I can bear another day.
Seems you've got new plans as you should.
Somewhere, our names are etched in wood.
Ain't that funny?
I don't want to know.
I just got to know.
Does she make you laugh?
Does she make you cry?
Does she scratch your back?
Does she make you satisfied?
Oh, are you satisfied?
Does she know your past?
Does she know your dreams?
Would she give it all just to make you happy?
Oh, are you happy?
I don't want to know.
I just got to know.
Does she make you laugh?
Does she make you cry?
Does she scratch your back?
Does she make you satisfied?
Oh, are you satisfied?
Does she know your past?
Does she know your dreams?
Would she give it all just to make you happy?
Oh, are you happy?
Are you happy without me?
Are you happy?
Are you happy without me?
Are you happy?
Back scratches are so bullish.
I fucking love that song.
Back scratches are bullish.
See when he gets it.
That's the kind that every single man relates to.
Every single man I have sung this song to is like the back scratching line that got me.
Especially if you got nails.
Listen, I'm just saying.
Look, I don't disallow her from doing very many things.
And this is a very trivial thing.
But I'm like yo, you gotta have some nails.
You don't have to have long ones.
It doesn't need to be painted.
I don't give a fuck about anything.
But you gotta have some.
Back scratches, you really get into the crevices when you got a little bit of nails.
I got some back crevices.
I resonate with that too.
My husband really loves a nice back scratch.
And when I used to put the fake nails on, which I can't do anymore because you all know you can't play the guitar with long nails.
But he loved that shit.
But Mela, I wanted to say that that song was so beautiful.
I'm hoping that maybe at some point tonight, there's another song that's my favorite.
And forgive me, I can't remember the name.
But it's the song that was written after that TV show.
You know what I'm talking about.
Take me down.
Yeah, I love that one.
If you can play that at some point, I would appreciate it.
Sure, for sure.
Yeah, absolutely.
That's another song Mela doesn't like to play for us anymore.
She took all the songs that we love and she threw them in a corner and she said stay.
You stay in your corner.
That's not true.
I play them upon request.
But whenever I pick the song, it's going to be something different.
You know?
I gotta have some tricks up my sleeve.
I don't know why I'm talking so much shit anyway because I'm the same way.
It is what it is.
It is what it is.
Rocky have a song.
It is what it is.
And if you don't like it, don't talk to me.
That's what Rocky chose.
You don't like it, don't talk to me.
It's perfect.
Rocky does a really good job of plugging all of his songs at once.
You know, if he starts talking about like freaks and simps,
we did spend a whole good hour talking about simps on the space last night.
What does that mean?
Because I've heard it, but I don't know what it means.
And it was explained to me.
So yeah, thank you for that education.
It's possible that I scared at least one person out of our space
because I was a little drunk and I was making a joke
because this person kept like just throwing mad emojis.
And I was like, man, I was like, look, if you're simping,
like that's okay.
My girl's right next to you.
You just got to shoot her a little DM and make sure it's all right with her
and like we could all get together.
And then she ran away.
Yeah, no shit.
She didn't like that joke.
She was afraid.
Listen, that's fine.
That just tells me.
Listen, that just tells me she ain't made for that fondue life, okay?
Because if you're afraid of me just like running my mouth on a Twitter space,
yeah, you ain't ready for that.
You ain't ready for that.
You ain't ready for no fondue.
Shots fired.
I can relate.
One thing I wanted to mention in this space before I forget
because I do forget things when I'm drinking gin and smoking weed.
I had to postpone the Meloverse private concert for holders,
which was supposed to be on Monday and I apologize.
Um, something came up and I have to postpone it.
So I'm thinking of doing like a poll in my discord,
seeing when would work for everybody.
Like what, what's the most popular time and day that would work for
everybody.
Um, otherwise I'll just reschedule it and we'll just do it a different day.
But yeah, I wanted to apologize.
Um, and I will, I will make it up to you guys.
It's going to be a good one.
We're trying to, part of it is like, we're trying to figure out a good setup
for, um, I don't want to get into the details.
It's tech stuff, but like, we're just trying to figure out a better setup so
that way we can get like direct audio from our system.
And, and it'll just be like a really cool,
like revamped version of the private concert.
So yeah, I'm excited about it.
But yeah, let's push on.
That's correct. We got salty. Uh, did we lose him? No, Tim's here.
So yeah, we got salty and then we got Tim.
Um, and then Darius, uh, because I know Darius didn't just come up here
to look pretty. I know, listen, I know that he coined the, the,
the unbuttoned shirt as like just a wardrobe choice.
Um, but I know he's, I he's, he's more than a pretty face.
All right. He's more than a pretty face.
I've seen him perform. Um, so yeah, I know he's up here to share something,
but yeah, salty. Uh, if you're ready, the, uh, the stage is yours.
And I know you did DM me. I don't,
I think you wanted to perform something first or did you want me to play
something first?
I wanted you to play something first, but I figured, uh, hell on it.
Let me, let me try to vocalize to it. I mean, it, it just don't do
justice without the vocals, but on the same token. Yeah.
My vocals aren't what they were 20 years ago, but
don't worry. I don't know if you heard me cracking earlier. You know,
I got, I got the allergy, uh, season going on. So it's okay.
We're, we're not here to, we're not here to judge. Uh, we're human beings.
I talked about this on the space last night.
Lauren Hill did a whole bit on her, uh, um, unplugged album,
where she talked about how like, Hey,
we're humans and we're here trying to perform things live.
And when you do that, you got to accept that it's not always going to be,
you know, exactly what you want. And, and I think still like, that's the,
that's the, that's the, that's the piece that people really like.
They, they like seeing that you're human and they like seeing that,
you know, you're, you're raw. Like that's,
I think that's really important to people these days.
Well, there's going to be a really raw cause I'm going to play the song off
of one phone and sing into this phone. You're going to hear both. Um,
and also I do, uh,
if anybody ever wants to like actually do the vocals to the song for me,
I would fucking love it just to hear it. So, but here we go. Let's see.
I hope y'all can hear everything, right?
For the record, I did not mean to hit the laugh emoji.
I literally meant to hit the clap emoji and then it was too late.
Cause I was like trying to hit the clap emoji and go in and do the thing.
So it was not what it was literally not trying to laugh.
Um, that was, that was good, man. I mean, I, it's tough. It,
it's tough with the phone cause the phone audio quality, not on your,
like not on the end you were singing in, but the end on the other side,
it's I want to hear the whole, like I want to hear all the,
all the elements of that. Cause I really,
like it sounded like a really rocky tune.
I would love to get somebody to vocalize for it.
No vocalize on it for me. Actually, that'd be amazing.
Well, I loved it. I thought you did a great job.
I appreciate it.
Absolutely. Amazing job.
Thank you so much for coming through audio. I mean, like Fondu said,
audio in here kind of like doesn't do it justice.
So I would definitely love to hear that in real life at some point, but, um,
yeah, I think your vocals, your vocals are just fine, dude.
I find after like, you know,
so many years of smoking and like beating myself up and like just covering up,
I just let it fall off, you know? So that,
that's something that I've been fighting with. I'm like, Hey,
I want to get back into this. But then I realized, fuck,
I'm getting old now. Shit.
Well, and it's more just, I'll tell you as somebody who is,
who has had to make some vocal choices, uh,
for the betterment of, of what I'm trying to do,
it just takes a commitment to not doing all the things that have crushed it.
And then on top of that, right? So you,
you eliminate the thing that beats your voice up,
but then you also have to re put in the work to like retrain your vocals,
which is its own level of effort. So, um, it can be done.
Doesn't matter how old you are. I'll tell you that like it can be done,
but it is a, it is like a commitment to, to different things.
And I think it always just depends on,
on what you're trying to do and what you're trying to accomplish and you know,
how important it really is to you to, uh, to make that shift. Because, you know,
and I think it's okay if it's not as important to make the shift, you know,
if other things are more than that's, you know,
I don't think there's anything wrong with that, but that's definitely,
that's definitely what it comes down to. Um, I'll tell you, I mean,
even me like not smoking weed every day after smoking weed every day for 18 years,
um, was kind of crazy. And I thought, I thought like, okay,
I'm never going to smoke weed again. That's kind of sad, but that it's fine.
And then I decided like, okay, well every once in a while it's okay.
Like, Hey,
as long as I don't got to sing the next day or I don't got to record or do
something, I was like, I just, I make the proper choice based on that. Um,
and as long as I do that, then I don't feel,
I don't feel bad about, uh, partaking every once in a while. Um, but yeah, no,
salty. Appreciate you sharing. Um, you know, it's,
especially you didn't want to sing and I agree.
I think it needed vocals. If you were going to just send me the audio track,
like I'm, I'm glad you, you sung it live. Cause, uh, you know, definitely,
I I'm, I'm glad I got to hear the vocals. What's up number.
Appreciate it.
That was actually trying to hit a hundred, but hit the hands up there.
Gotcha. Gotcha. Okay. All good. All right. Um, well,
it's not like we're in a rush or anything,
but I am going to keep us moving forward at least, you know, it's like,
once I stopped moving us forward, then we,
then we go sideways for a while and then we end up backed up at the end of the
night. So we're just going to, we're just going to keep pushing. Um, Tim,
welcome. Thanks for being here. Hello. Uh, the floor, floor is yours, man.
What'd you got for us tonight? Hi, Karen. Hi, Mila. Hi, Fondue. Hi, Shane.
Hey, Hey. Hi, people. I don't know. Um, Salty, that was kick ass, dude.
And, uh, I'm, I don't know how old you are,
but I'm for some years old and I'm still doing fucking hardcore ass metal,
screaming my ass off and producing right in my own music. And so you got it,
man. You can do it. Um, I'm going to do,
uh, I was going to do under the bridge,
but I kind of wanted to do Mississippi queen, even though I don't have a cowbell.
Uh, so, you know, it always sucks without a cowbell.
Everything's fun with a cowbell.
I need some more cowbell.
Mississippi queen, you know what I mean.
Mississippi queen, she taught me everything.
Down the round which bird, around the Louisiana way,
lived a crazy lady. Oh boy, the Mississippi queen,
you know, she was a dancer.
Move better, I'm wide wide,
I wish the little dudes wasn't getting their kicks.
Boy, I beg your pardon, I was getting mine.
Mississippi queen, you know what I mean.
Mississippi queen, she taught me everything.
This lady, she asked me if I could be her man.
You know that I told her I'd do what I can.
Keep her looking pretty,
find dresses that shine while the rest of them dudes was getting their kicks.
Boy, I beg your pardon, I was getting mine.
Mississippi queen, you know, she was a dancer.
Move better, I'm wide wide wide,
I wish the little dudes wasn't getting their kicks.
Boy, I beg your pardon, I was getting mine.
Mississippi queen, you know what I mean.
Mississippi queen, you know what I mean.
Mississippi queen, Mississippi queen.
Kind of an acoustic rendition.
It's a lot better on electric. It's funner-ist.
Thanks, guys.
I love that.
Yeah, I like acoustic renditions of hard rock songs.
And I'm not saying that you're not on with what you're saying about like,
OK, it might be better with electric, it might be more true to the sound.
But like, I like it because to me, I mean, I guess I don't know,
I guess because I write everything on an acoustic guitar and then like
sometimes later I think about electric renditions,
whereas I think maybe a lot of people, they just start on the electric
and then they're like, oh, I guess I could play this on an acoustic.
But no, that was great, Tim, and that was awesome.
Thanks, guys. I love you guys.
We love you too, Tim. That was amazing.
I loved it. I hope you come in on Friday and play that.
Oh, oh, yeah.
You know, I was going to jump in the space last night,
but the story of my life is a day late and all are short
because now I'm drinking wine and doing music.
I was wondering why you were hanging out and listening for so long
and not coming up and partaking in the fun.
But yeah, I was doing stuff in the garage.
You're doing stuff in the garage noted, as always.
Now he's like fun was making me uncomfortable.
He was he was drinking heavily and
and making people in the crowd uncomfortable
and talking to 13 year olds.
And yeah, no, no, I'm just kidding.
I appreciated you being in there, Tim.
And yeah, you're welcome any time in every Tuesday night.
Every Tuesday night, every Wednesday night, this coming Monday.
Again, I'm just going to shout out that me and Nachi are going to be running
a songwriter space on Monday night just talking about the songwriting process
and, you know, love to have people come in, especially, you know,
if you're an original songwriter, would love to have people come in
and give their takes on it.
People hint, hint like Kara, who are maybe just getting started with that,
because I like I feel like that'll really make the conversation.
And then I did promise Rocky's not.
I don't even know where the fuck Rocky is right now.
He was in here earlier and now he's not.
We're going to do the whole thumbs down bit again.
But we'll wait till he's here.
But I did I he did ask me to to make sure that I plug.
We have literally only seven copies left
of my cover of Don't Talk to Me.
He is put up a $40 giveaway on top, which is about like,
I think about 15 bucks more than than the mint.
So you could end up making some money when that.
And then once we make this out, we're finally going to be able
to make this announcement that he's he just he keeps telling me
I can't say nothing and I'm trying to be good.
I'm trying to be a good collaborator and not not spill the beans.
But there's some beans to be spilled like there's some beans
that have just been they've been like just marinating in the pot
and getting ready to be to be cooked down and then spilled onto a plate.
But yeah, anyway, just I'll I'll post it up somewhere.
I'm sure he's got I think he has a post that says there's eight left.
But there we discovered today there's actually only seven.
So yeah. All right.
I think we got we got Darius.
I love how I think that we're you know, that I'm confused.
There's three of us here, four of us here.
So this isn't that hard.
Darius, what's up, man?
I feel like you haven't been you've you come in a lot to support.
You don't always come up and and plug your music with us.
So what's you up to, man? How you been?
We actually got a few fresh drops of fun, dude.
But right now, shout out to you, by the way.
Shout out to everybody in the building.
Repost the space, baby. It's Pimp Radio.
We're going to be focused on that buzz liberation.
Mr. Darius Festival Trappers remix.
I think they're ready for that fondue.
I don't even know if I'm ready for it, but sometimes like the fear
of not being ready for something makes it even more exciting when it shows up.
You know, think think back to never mind.
Exactly. I don't know if we should get the salties hand first before the track.
So I'll see what you got, baby.
Yeah, well, I'm going to hand, but now just put me back up in line.
I got something else. Oh, I got you.
OK, cool. Perfect. See, thank you.
Appreciate you. All right. Let's go, Darius.
I don't know if I'm ready, but I'm also ready.
All right, baby, repost the space.
Let's turn up Pimp Radio live first time on Pimp Radio.
Sheesh. Let's go.
But we love you. We love you.
We got them.
You know, we got them.
Hey, I'm up, up, up, up, up with a battle of metal and death.
We be humping up the building, man.
Whoa. Yeah. Who that veto?
Hey, I do the airway.
You got no speedo.
What? Got the squad balling like we came up off the free throw.
When the lights out beaming with speedo, damn.
Ride no rego, the fuzz liberated the mix.
Got the trap house popping like I'm raving the sticks.
Overnight at M.I.A., we need some cakes and a flip.
They got only one shot, cause this ain't one that can dip.
They been looking through they soul, we can tell it they pissed.
And the mosh pit, raging roll of y'all on the wrist.
Hey, who all with the shit?
Hey, that's for everybody.
Got them taking shots for that new Ferrari.
When they say you're here, they call that doo-ma-dah-dee.
I'm a poppin' molly, got them feeling awry in a two-seater.
Gotta call them awry, they ain't stoppin'.
We just hit a party, make it clap, clap.
No suits, let's go.
Ain't lovin' like always how we gotta be.
If you ain't get the message, wait a second, cause you been in hell.
Nobody hears a single note.
Even if nobody's watching me.
Damn, Sheesh is right.
You were right.
I was not ready.
I was not ready for that.
And when it started, I was like, what's Darius about to play for us right now, cause it was
very confusing.
But wow, no, that's a great try.
When did you guys drop that?
Yo, appreciate you, shout out to everybody in the building, appreciate the hearts.
That was actually dropped yesterday, actually, yeah, that was dropped yesterday.
Fresh out the press, live on Sound Out XYZ.
We're definitely doing the giveaways, only 50 limited editions, but you got your freebies,
Show the love, let's go crazy.
We're the first lyricists to do that remix, fam.
So this is history, let's go.
Now here's a question.
Are you gonna be performing a lot?
I heard, I heard a rumor, right?
I heard a rumor that you're gonna be up at NFT NYC and that there's gonna be some performances
going on.
Might somebody be able to see you perform some of these great tracks live?
Absolutely, fam, let's see.
So you're mentioning NFT NYC, that's gonna be Friday at 2 40 p.m. Eastern.
That's actually in the Jumbotron as well.
Shout out to Tommy for the link.
We're also gonna be performing at the Pepe Festival.
We might be performing at Third Planet as well.
They actually told me to come by, might do a surprise performance, not necessarily a surprise
now that I sit in a space, but we might be doing one there as well.
Also the poetry space with the jam, with Mindset and LM might be doing a performance
over there.
Shout out to Dave.
Dave is also having a performance on Monday and Stu has all my tracks lined up for his
crazy mix during the pigeons party.
So might have to grab a mic and just do something there too.
If there's a mic over there, I'm gonna do something there too, fam.
So yeah, we're performing all over New York.
Let's go crazy.
Who's gonna be in the building?
Let's go crazy.
Hey, Rocky, if you in the building, I'm pulling Rocky up on stage and we got to do it is
what it is live.
They never seen that live, so we got to do it for the people if he's around.
Let's go.
Listen, he better be around.
I'm already kicking myself enough that I couldn't make this trip make sense.
So I'm gonna be pomoing.
I'm gonna be hopefully living vicariously somewhere.
And if it's not through Rocky, maybe it'll be through Mella because like Mella is playing
all the shows as well that I'd like to be playing.
And so I'm just like, damn, you fuckers, but no, I'm really glad that I'm really glad
that so many shows have got so many of you in one place for multiple nights, basically.
I think that that's like, we already know who needs to be out there and like be the face
of what we've been doing online here for, I mean, some of us for a few years, me for
It's like, when you look at that, I mean, I see Dave down there.
I know Dave's gonna be performing, you know, it's just like, there's gonna be so much
talent at these events.
And I know that there's gonna be a lot of people who have no idea what music NFTs
are or that there's people out here playing live on Twitter.
I think that all that is going to be really good exposure for all of us and the shows
are going to be lit.
So hopefully somebody's live streaming some stuff so I can be plugged, tapping in, you
know, watch it on the phone.
I hope we get some of that.
The thing is, I was the guy at heart basil with my phone just like locked up by the
He's gonna have to bring an extra device and go throw it up there and just put at least
live stream into Twitter.
Okay, at least do that because, you know, just like on spaces, you throw the wide spectrum
on and it's gonna be great.
So I need someone to help me out here.
Okay, need someone to help me out and make sure that I can at least watch these events.
Yo, Fondue, I'm hearing there's gonna be live streams as well as live spaces via
video mode.
Like video mode on, just set the phone up and let the people watch it live in the space.
That's gonna be crazy, bro.
Let's fucking go.
That's what I want to hear.
I'm excited.
All right.
We did finally got finally I've seen him down there.
I was like, Oh, is he going to request?
Is he going to come up and bless us with a track?
I mean, it's not a talent show.
So you don't have to worry about losing the lakeside letter, Devin.
Thanks for coming up here and I know you're laughing back there that when you were muted,
I was like, Oh, he's back there laughing now that I brought it up again.
In case you didn't know, I like to poke the bear and it's especially I don't I don't
always get a dub.
So like when I do get a dub, I really like to remind people like, Oh, who got that dub?
It was me.
You haven't heard me talk much about the bear and bull talent show because I didn't get
the dub dub.
I got like the, you know, the runner up that was I mean, that was fine.
I'm surprised you haven't been mentioning the vibes contest more.
Well, I, you know, I'm still trying to get my submission and I like to do everything
in like batches of stuff because then otherwise I feel like I'm talking about too many things
too often.
I like, you know, listen, I'm the guy that I don't like to shove it down anybody's throat.
But yeah, since you brought it up.
Winning the vibes competition.
You know, thanks for thanks for reminding me actually that's for anybody in here who
doesn't know.
There's a weekly competition going on right now with the hive blockchain call and it's
the it's the vibes web three music competition.
They're running it every week.
They're giving away something like 12 or $1,300 a week, $1,500 a week.
Something ridiculous.
Tell us what first prize is fun to tell us what first prize is, you know, first prize
as it turns out, you know, and I know this because I happen to win first prize.
This last week is 500 bucks and that happened to come on the heels of a $500 second place
win with the bear and bull competition that they're going to run every month too.
So tap in with crypto equip, you know, they're going to be running that and they, you know,
they're not they don't just bring you up if you go into the room and request, although
they did bring somebody up who wasn't on the list, but that's, you know, I felt more bad
than anything else that whoever was in charge of accepting speakers didn't like say, Hey,
we've already got our nine that are that are performing.
So like, we're not going to bring anybody else other than the nine up.
But so when when crypto equip posts about that, definitely make sure you post a live
performance video of some sort in there.
That's what they're looking for.
They're not looking for recordings.
They're not looking for your favorite drop.
You know, they're they're looking for live performance because that's what they're going
to require for the talent show.
But yeah, the vibes competition 500 bucks the first place what it what a what a gem
of a day that was on Saturday to get that message from from a few people because
I was like in the space, couldn't really listen.
I was out at lunch.
And then all of a sudden, I see all these DMS coming through.
They're like, Oh, fine.
I'm like, I thought David won.
But yeah, so exciting stuff.
They're running it every week.
They've already given.
I mean, their goal is to give 500 million dollars in in money away to their community
this year.
And they already did.
They they did 100 million last year.
So like this isn't like, you know, this isn't a joke, like these guys are consistent and there's
more ways to win.
So top six get paid in the contest.
But if you just put a submission in, you can literally win some money.
I mean, I if I didn't win, I would have made 60 bucks just for my submission based on up
So it's like it's kind of crazy.
There's you know, there's a few things to learn, you know, Devin will tell you, there's
like a few things you got to learn to like wrap your head around what what they're doing.
And but once you're in and once you understand what's going on, like it's it's definitely
worth our time.
And Lord Butterfly is the guy who's kind of in charge of it all.
And he is really, I got to say, man, he really cares about trying to create something sustainable
for musicians to be able to earn something like, look, not everybody's earning 50, 60 bucks,
Like sometimes you're earning a few bucks here, a few bucks there, but that's better than earning
zero, right?
Because like your your post on x that you put out if you get a bunch of likes, it
doesn't necessarily earn you anything.
So at least they're creating ways that you can go in, you can compete, you can you
can draw the attention of the community.
And there's definitely enough talent just in this room that I'm looking at, that you could
definitely, definitely make a little scratch at least.
So I will while while we get Devin playing a song for us, I will go over to the vibes
account and I'll post up the way that you sign up.
They he literally they break it down into all the steps so that you can you sign up
for the hive account.
You've got a you're going to post your live video on and it is a live performance
So don't think oh, I'm just going to post this video from last year.
Like no, it's got to be brand new.
It can be a song from before, but it's got to be a new up to date performance video.
You have to say this is for the vibes web three music competition and then whatever
week we're in.
I think we're in week six right now.
But anyway, it says it all in this post.
I'm going to get it going.
Devin, why don't you play as a tune so that I can stop rambling?
Sounds good, buddy.
Hey, Mel.
How are you doing?
Hey, Kara and Tim, man, that last track or that last song you did was just awesome,
That was that was wicked.
I'm actually going to try and play my electric in the space today.
I'm not sure how that's going to go, but I know Fondue and Kara have heard the song
I'm not sure about you, Mela, but I don't know.
I know no one's heard it on the electric before.
So the song's called Number One, and it's pretty much the most pretentious song I've
ever written.
And it's really fun to play.
So I hope you guys like it.
Give us a little strum.
Give us a little strum on the electric so we can do a little sound check real quick
because I want to make sure this sounds good.
I'll probably sing something like this.
Let's go.
All right.
That sounds great.
Nobody gives a damn about me.
You might say, hey, man, that can't be any fun.
Everybody loves to hate on me if that's just the price you pay when you're a number one.
Everybody's always talking about me.
And no one ever really speaks to me when I talk the ranks an ear that doesn't listen
because deep down they all really want to be like me and call themselves a number one.
Always the punchline of some lame ass one-liner, jokes the folks don't even really care to
But when I walk in, they all will crane for my attention and they all try to buy me the
same cheap fucking beer.
No, I can't.
No, I won't.
No, I shouldn't.
No, I don't.
Well, somebody's got to make those fake decisions.
One must rise while all the others will fall.
Somebody's got to take the heat and have the stones to make that final call.
And stand and be your number one.
Nobody gives a damn about me.
And you might say, hey, man, that can't be any fun.
But sometimes everyone shows terrified of me.
And they can't help but call me a number one.
That's it.
So you guys, oh, two roosters, two roosters, let's go.
So you guys caught all of that, did you?
Yeah, man, that sounded good.
I like the electric with your voice a lot, actually.
Thank you, Bella.
That means a lot coming from you.
I like your voice with everything.
It just works because you've got that like, that rasp and that grit.
So it just pairs very nicely if I do say so.
Well, thank you very much.
I'm glad you guys enjoyed it.
And thanks for throwing me the mic.
I appreciate it all the time.
And I care about you.
Yeah, Devin, dude.
Oh, my God.
That was fucking killer.
I love the electric guitar.
It sounded so dope.
Thanks, Kara.
I don't know.
I know you heard it before.
And I will actually DM Kara about that.
Because last time I played it in a space, it was on the acoustic.
And she was like, oh, that sounded great.
I'm like, yeah, it was actually for the electric.
So I'm really glad she enjoyed the actual guitar
it was written to play with.
And I'm glad it sounded great.
So thanks, guys.
Appreciate the feedback, too.
Love it, love it, love it.
I think Fondue is letting his dog out right now.
So I will be Sergeant Fondue for the moment and push us forward.
I mean, what's next?
Oh, yeah, we've got Kyle up here.
Kyle, welcome to the stage.
How are you?
I'm doing really good, Mel B.
Thank you very much.
I didn't expect to fall into place right so fast.
But I just want to give a shout out to Fondue Thumper Danger.
You guys kind of encouraged me to not be so shy.
And yeah, I love music.
I love your space all the time.
And yeah, can I play a song?
Yeah, absolutely.
What are you going to play for us?
Well, I'd love to play something that I wrote.
But let me just grab my guitar here.
And that kind of came quick.
Yeah, it's all good.
Do you need like a minute?
Do you want to get yourself prepared so that way you're not on the spot?
Or are you ready?
I do it right on the spot.
Johnny, you're ready on the spot.
But can I play a Zach Bryan song?
I don't know how my sound comes through.
I'm in northern Alberta right now, and I have very little reception.
So if my sound's coming through shit, just throw some thumbs down so I know.
Are you on an iPhone by any chance?
I am, yes.
OK, so do you know if your phone is set to wide spectrum?
I do not.
OK, so if you swipe down from the top right corner,
just like if you were to adjust your brightness,
you're going to see like a mic mode.
And if you click mic mode, wide spectrum should be an option.
Preferences?
No, I do not see it.
This is an X old phone, so.
Audio settings, sorry.
So it would be, the only way I know how to do this is when you,
yeah, I'm tech support.
So the only way I know how to do this is when you swipe
from the top right corner and like you have your brightness.
It might be swiping from the bottom on the older phones.
I don't know exactly.
But yeah, like, however you would normally get to your brightness on your phone normally.
So if you're just like, oh, my screen's too bright.
I need to drag the little slider down.
Like, however you get to that, that's the screen that you need to get.
OK, so it says standard mic mode.
So tap where that says and see if you can change it to wide spectrum.
How's that sound?
Well, we'll know when you, it just allows for the instrument sound to come through with your vocals.
Because if you're on standard or you're on voice ISO, it makes it so you don't,
it doesn't really pick up the guitar, but wide spectrum is going to pick up the whole room.
Wow, thank you.
So I just hit wide spectrum.
This is the first time I ever actually hit that button.
And the last time I played a song, all I seen was people laughing.
And I was like, well, damn, I played my guts.
So that's probably why they probably could.
You were probably rugging or at least it sounded like you're rugging because it wasn't.
It was probably like kicking back and forth rather than picking it up.
So now literally now this is going to be a game changer for you live on spaces.
Alright, tell me if you can hear this E minor.
Alright, this one's Mela B.
I freaking love your spaces.
Pimp radio.
This one's for everybody in the room too.
Something in the Orange by Zach Bryan.
And it'll be fine by just what I'm telling you, baby.
These things here at your bones and drive your young mind crazy.
When you lean your hair between the color and your jaw.
I don't know much, but there's no way to.
Just checking for a sound check.
Sounds great.
Oh, that sounded great.
All right.
Well, I'm damn if I do and I'm damn if I don't.
If I said I missed you.
I know that you were.
I miss you in the morning.
I see the sun.
I'm just a man.
All I am.
To you, just to blame, to me, all I am will it, hell am I supposed to go?
I'm hoistin' myself against somethin' in the old institute with him comin' home
You leave today, I'll just stare at the wind
The old range touches the hills around
The grass trees in the new house stay here
Please turn those headlights around
Amazing, I love that song and you killed it
You don't want people to be hearing what's going on in the background, that's where you could toggle
And that wasn't a complaint about the dog, I just, I think especially because you just learned about Wide Spectrum right now
It's probably just nice to know all the features that it brings out in your...
Could you give me like three examples of things we might not want to hear in the background?
Um, let's see, let's see, does, oh, here, okay, so like...
Did you hear my microwave? Okay, no, it's my microwave, okay?
My microwave, um, I mean, it's, I don't, I don't need to fart, so like I could've done that, but I like...
The toilet flushing?
Yeah, yeah, oh yeah, alright, hold on, hold on, alright, hold on
See, that's a fake one, that's a fake one, you got to at least...
There you go, okay, there's a real one, alright, there's a real one
Um, so yeah, so like all that kind of stuff comes through when you're on Wide Spectrum
And like you probably hear my dog whining in the background
Um, this poor guy, he, uh, let's see, come on Cheech, you want to make some noise?
No, now he's...
Oh, oh, oh, oh, there it was, hey, come on, tell us, tell us about how upset you are
That's how upset he is, he's really...
Yeah, he's a whiner, um, but he's, you know, he's like a big baby, he's a big 130 pound baby
That's so funny
As long as you're the one that puts food in his dish, he's your baby
Aside from that, he'll fucking kill you
I mean, you know what's funny? He's actually rougher with me than he is with strangers
And like I'm not saying like a stranger who comes up to our house, like he definitely feels very differently about that
But like if we're just out and about and I'm introducing him to people, he's so gentle with strangers that we meet
Little kids, I mean he like, you know, he wants to eat my arms all the time
Little kids come up and they can just like grab his face and he's like, he's all good, he's like, oh, no big deal
So yeah, he also likes to, I think he thinks that he's a defensive tackle
Because he loves, when I turn my back, oh, he loves to try to jump on my fucking shoulders and knock me down
Yeah, he's special, he's very special, but he's my little special guy
That reminds me of a Joe Rogan bit, where Joe Rogan's like, you know, you can have a cat and you can have a dog
And then you can get a hamster, and if you have just a dog, the hamster will live a happy long life
But the dog will like walk up to it and sniff it and be like, can I, and he'll look at you and be like, can I fuck this thing up?
No? Okay, okay, and then he'll snort on it like, you know, I could fuck you up right now, right?
Cheat really likes to snort, so we have this big giant, we got this gigantic tennis ball
I'm talking like 15 inch tennis ball, it's more of a basketball that just has like the tennis ball fur on it
But all the reviews on Amazon were like, oh, the only problem with this ball is it doesn't really hold air that well
You know, if you put enough pressure on it, it deflates a little
Well, that's his favorite fucking thing about it
In fact, when I inflate it and get it to where it's supposed to be, he gets mad
And he puts all his fucking weight on it until it deflates enough that he can put it in his mouth
And so then he like, he doesn't destroy it, right? He just gets it enough in his mouth
So it's like inflated all around his face
Alright, and he goes and he runs around and he and he just
He just does that around the whole fucking house
Like he's God, he's fucking hilarious
Like he is really hilarious for being a lion killer
You know, literally like the lineage is, you know, these guys are raised to defend farms in Africa against lions
But because there ain't no lions here, they we've just turned him into little like mushballs
Oh, there's there's mountain lions in Denver or in Colorado, their buddy, there's mountain lions
But they all stay
Yeah, not on my side
That's because you got a dog like that marking his territory around your house. They're like, nope
Oh, no. Trust me. There's fucking cats
Listen, the cats in the neighborhood have no problem living under my fucking shed in the back
Don't get me started about the cats in the neighborhood who have no homes
And they just, you know, they've made my backyard their shitting spot
Like, oh, God makes me so sorry
I got them started everybody. I'm sorry. I got them started. I'm sorry
Yeah, I love cats as long as they're not shitting in my fucking backyard
Like that's it
Anyway, I guess I'm in charge again. Mela, Mela disappeared briefly. I think she's smoking weed
Oh, in fact, this is perfect
Yeah, yeah, listen, everybody if you guys could all do me a favor
And I know that the crowd's gonna get it delayed
But if we could get a couple minutes of just throwing a bunch of thumbs down
Rocky loves when we thumbs down him
And so if you could just spam the thumbs down emoji
Like, yeah, see just like, you know, this would get real fun doodle
Mela be not you too. God damn it. I thought I thought we were friends
I see you. I saw you camera. She's not doing it anymore, but she did it one time
God damn it. The crowd the crowd was not as excited about that as the speaker panel, but
Yeah, I'm glad I'm glad that we could run that again. Rocky
You don't know how many messages I got in the back and like hey, hey
Have we have we thumbs down Rocky yet today? Are we are we gonna do that?
So like I'm sorry to tell you that it's a thing, you know, just like just like when Shane comes up here
And he tells you he wants to blow you
Away, you know, he just wants to blow you away
That's that you know that that's never gonna die
But the thumbs down when Rocky comes in the space listen, this is just a thing that was started yesterday
This is why are you acting like this is this was not a thing? Okay, I don't know but that's
Everything starts listen, everything starts one day
Right, like everything has a starting point and I'm just telling you that I promise you
This is gonna be a thing that doesn't die
Can we get everyone to do it again real quick?
Cara, Cara
Everyone thumbs down
Cara I thought we were friends
We were buddies
This is that's not cool
Darius, you know what? How you gonna hit the buzzer on me?
God damn it
I'm saying that's not a great idea, you know
Darius I'm starting to think that you don't know what a great idea is then because
This is our way of supporting the homies
See the thumbs down doesn't mean we don't like Rocky doesn't mean we don't love his music
Doesn't mean we don't want him to come up and share something
This is actually we like to give a hard time to the people that we love the most
And so all that tells Rocky is that that's how much we love him
See exactly
We love you Rocky
I mean if we're talking about Rocky
I think Rocky does not the type to enjoy a hard time
You know I'm saying
Rocky's the type
See we like to give the hard time
We're not accepting
Well he doesn't want to be friends with Fondue
Fondue is very well known for giving the hard time as much as getting the hard time
So yeah if that happened man he really done fucked up already
Because he like tied it
He tells people in every space he tied himself to me for life now
Right like we've got this track together
You know we're homies we're talking on the
We're talking on the phone we're not even just on Twitter spaces
Like we're like bud
So he got fucked up
Like he legit if he doesn't like getting a hard time
Rocky I'm sorry man you done fucked up
Because like you said we're locked now
And I get to get lots of hard time
Lots of hard times ahead
This is why I showed up late
This is why I showed up to the space late today
I'm very late
I was going to apologize for my lateness
But I'm not anymore
Now I should have been later
Because that wouldn't have give y'all enough time to thumbs me down
But because I'm here
I'm here now
And look I still see
I still see him going
That's fucked up
Carrot danger
Well they're just catching up
You know some of them are catching up
I don't even know you Kyle
God dammit
Rocky Rocky you'd be so proud of me bro
I already I shilled our track already
And I posted it in the jumbo
And told people that we got seven left
And we got a giveaway
You know how bad I am at shilling our stuff
He's very bad at shilling our stuff
So I am proud
I did scroll the jumbotron
And see that the track was up there
So shout out to fine doodle
For uh shilling things
Speaking of shilling stuff though
I feel like you have something to plug
That is not our our collab
Like I feel like
There's like this really dope
Artist in the space
That you decided to collab with
And and then you drop something
And it's like an open edition
Like I come on tell you
Help me out here
I swear it was something
Uh about about
People who
You know who who just show up
And get it slide in people's dms
And like you know
There's something about it
Tell me tell me about this track that you dropped Rocky
Oh man um
You know what I did go ahead
And link up with the homie
My brother
Nessie the Rilla
Some of y'all may have heard of this guy
I don't know he's you know
He's not really that known in the space
Or anything like that
Um but my guy Nessie the Rilla
You know we got this track
It's called simp son
We just put it up on the
Blockchain
Very limited edition
I think uh
Almost about 10 days left
To go and get it if you haven't gotten it yet
Who got the first one?
I feel like some really awesome guy in the space
Like managed to pick up the first one
Like who was that?
That awesome guy
I can't stand this guy right now
Oh my god I hate this
I hate this
Fine doodly do was the first
Person to uh
This track and I'm gonna throw it up in the
Jumbotron for y'all
But no no on a serious note man
Me and Nessie that's my
I'm a fan of Nessie to be honest
He's been a blueprint for me
In this space
Cause I'm still a baby
When it comes to actual
Blockchain music
I only put my first dropout
In October of last
year so I'm still very new to this
As much as I've been in
the space I'm still very new to
You know dropping NFTs
and stuff and he's
been one of the people that I've credited
of watching and
you know following some of the things
that he does
So shout out to my bro Nessie man
We linked up last summer
He sent me this track
We've been holding on to it since
last summer
And uh it's not
It's the first, it's definitely not the last
It's the first of many
We're probably already about
3 or 4 tracks in to be honest
We done tapped them like that
And somebody told me
There's a possibility
If you're in NFT NYC
You might
just happen to see us
perform this
track live, I don't know
It might happen
I was here early, I wasn't on
the stage but our guy
Tommy was up here
and he was talking about all these people that he
had on the
bill, Mela B included
Nessie was also included
I'm not going to say anything, there's a chance
if you're going to that event
you might just see a Rocky
to grimy pop up
I don't know, I don't know, it's a possibility
There's another person
in this space right now
that I got on track with
Some people
call it the hardest rap record
on the block chain
You know, I don't know
it's a possibility
You might
see a Rocky to grimy pop
up a couple times
I'm not on anybody's
card, that's the crazy thing
There's not a
single event that has my name
on it, but
you might see me
if you're there, you might see me
So, definitely tap in
I'm going to throw this record
If you do see him though, don't talk to him
If you don't see me, don't talk to me
If you don't see me, don't talk to me
It doesn't make sense
If you don't see me, don't talk to me
How you going to talk to me
and you don't see me
That doesn't even make any sense
As far as this record though
in the next nine minutes
I believe it is
We're going to give away
Mr. Darius Preach NFT
and about $30
in cash as well
So that's when we get to Mint 25
everybody that's minted
We're going to give away to
somebody who's minted in between
those mints
And Fran Doodle probably mentioned this already
but once we're minted out
we're seven mints away
Don't talk to me cover
the cash prize
So we've probably given out
at least with that mint
almost $100
Because we've done like
We gave out more than $100 already
We gave out $100 the first day
that we dropped it
We've given out
a little bit with that
Shout out to the people
who have won those giveaways
and all that
We out here giving real utility
My last mint
she won the golden egg
which gives her
of one of my future drops
So she has the opportunity
to just earn
because I'm going to add a
forever edition to that drop
So outside of the initial
drop that we do
there will be a forever edition and
she can just collect money for doing
nothing but being a
supporter so that's the type of stuff
that we're doing out here
but I feel like I didn't talk too much
I'm going to pin my song up
to the jumbotron
and I'm going to let
play that thing right there
and I think this is one of the
I think this is one of the best
hip hop records on the
blockchain I'm not going to lie to you
I'm really proud of it
because he did his thing
and because he did his thing
I had to do my thing too
I didn't really have no choice
because he's not going to
you're not going to do that to Rocky 2 Grimey
so it just made a great track
you remember when Rocky
said he was going to stop talking
and have me play the track
and then he kept talking
this is the problem
you don't like it don't talk to me
this is Simpsun
by Rocky2Grimey featuring
Nessie the Rilla
let's fucking go
I ain't even gonna wait
skating through life like I'm
Bartholomew
but I ain't a Simpsun
telling me my shorts and little rips on
I was in the band wrenching fish guts
no company but music in the
disc hoods talking to myself like
Rilla get up I knew my soul was
gold my blood elixir speak life into
my water when I lift up but
then I don't get the gist huh
remember days when I was in that pinch
I woke up that night man
now I'm right there up in the pictures
biking to New York a couple
bands yelling out the cab
miss my brother dope I'm trying to cope
but I'm still getting mad
can't think of no lyrics hard enough to honor him
it's sad no captain to wrap the man
the realest friend I ever had
depression swallows hate begging my friends
to borrow my name hollow
yet I'm still drowning down in those sorrows
swear on everything nothing props tomorrow
I'm grinding from my twins with open minds
I hope to follow this that vision
never in prison to my situation
Jimmy missions golden eyes on the prize
how can I quit him
god I gotta
finish praying here we know we wouldn't
get riches and then we split them
they're saying Johnny a legend
we getting lifted cousins
off to college and my mama's out them trenches
dreamage like it's been
all and starting on the pistons
I do it all and pray I never fall back to
the pictures
I pray I never fall back
I said I pray I never fall
man you would've thought
that I was something the way that I
was acting I learned the more you
chase it gets harder to attract it
women that I lost now they steady
coming back in she say it's still
mine and I should put it back
in man it's something on my mind I never
thought that this would happen
my homie turned on me straight up folded
like a napkin I just changed my
number I bet he never get it
fuck that dude forever
I don't care I said it man I'm focused
on my goals I know just where I'm
headed I done put in so much time
and now I earn the right to set it
I seen the expectation and every
time I met it I learned that life will
only keep you down if you let it
if I ever said the words I love you
then I meant it but I done had some
love turned to resent me it used to
have me stressing thinking about all
that I had invested a coat of
heart is all that I've been left with
but mommy I'm just letting
shout out to Ness he's sending this record just to
hear me snap that was his attention
a classic manifesting
checking our catalogs for a reference
I'm seeing red but man I got the
method still spitting bars
cause I'm not sure where I should end it
maybe here I think
y'all got the message
I ain't a simp son
Yeah, damn, that's a lot of roosters
But there's a lot of cocks going on in the room like they're going off
I know. Sorry. I forgot that's right. I forgot that Elon read us. That's not that's not what I meant at all
Did you know that mela has a cock on her arm
Well, that was really good man, that was like rolling to I do
She's got a big old cock on her arm
Rooster cock though. Why are you guys minds in the gutter bro? Why are your cousin?
Well, I can't wait to see you next week for real
Can't wait to meet you in the real life
Thanks, I'm so stoked looking forward to it
But yeah, thank y'all thank y'all for playing for playing the record
I'm a pimp
You know, I'm saying I'm here every week. If that's where you're looking for me on a Wednesday, you're gonna find me here
I don't know about next week
Mela like what's your plans for for next week Wednesday because you're gonna be here
So I don't think I will be running next week
I just say that because like it's impossible for me to plan
For that kind of thing. You never know when you're away. So
If by chance I'm like, you know what fuck it, let's do pimp radio, then I'll let y'all know
But as of right now, I'm gonna be in New York doing other things
maybe do we do a live, you know, I'm saying little pop-up edition and
We'll see we'll see you never know what happens. There's a lot of things that can happen here
But yeah, okay, I'm gonna mute my mic now I'm going to take a sip of beer
I can tell you right now. I can I can guess that unless we're doing it early early in the day
It's probably not gonna happen because I'm pretty sure you know, correct me if I'm wrong
Wednesday is the fourth and
the fourth Wednesday
Actually, what is it? Yeah. Oh, you're right
Okay, Thursday the culture tape is talking. I mean is is dropping
That which I'm upset about cuz I wish there was a pimp radio the day before the culture tape was dropping but it's okay
But the culture tape is dropping on Thursday the fourth and I'm on that is a whole compilation
Produced by Rodney dark child. Jorkin's. I'm really excited for y'all to hear this music
We're doing our royal dread space. I
Cannot promise that I'll be on our royal dread space. I don't know what's gonna be going on
There's gonna be a lot of it's gonna be the opposite of the other week the other week
There was no and and cam and now it's gonna be no you
Yeah, you know, I'll probably I'm pretty sure a chantel is gonna be there. Chantel is actually
Heading back to Barbados as early as tomorrow
So she I know she has like a 23-hour flight
So she should be in attendance, but then you know, like we're also doing a bunch of I think there's gonna be like a 24-hour space
Going on with the culture cards. I don't know if that's gonna be like
Jumping from space to space or one big space
But there's gonna be a lot going on and also NFT NYC happening at the same time
So I cannot predict the future
whatsoever for next week, but
shout out to everybody
I'm gonna be hanging out with mela be and and and Darius and and the Nessie's and and and all the people
I can say that much so
We some pimps
Let's fucking go
Okay, Mela, what do you want to do? Cuz that so salty definitely wanted to share another one
I know we're obviously gonna sure know I actually can't believe it's I can't believe it's almost midnight already
That's kind of crazy. Like the time just flew by I was there at 8 o'clock
I was like, oh boy, like we're gonna struggle to get to midnight tonight guys
It was just me and mela nobody else wanted a notch he played a song but like not you didn't want to hang out all night
It's like oh god
It's gonna be one of those nights and then all of a sudden everybody poured into the room
Like we kind of thought would happen. So it worked out. But uh, so yeah, so what you feeling tonight mela?
What would you want to do?
Well, I can't run till 1 a.m. Because I
Need to be up at fucking seven o'clock in the morning. I have to drop my car off to get an oil change
But I can go for a bit longer I'm just chillin I feel like
So do we want to call it a 30 you do we want to call it a midnight midnight hard closer
Great. Don't worry. Sergeant Fonzie will keep us on task. I know you're you're chillin. You got your drink in your hand
Don't be back in the queue fun do
Okay, we're in the queue again. All right. So here's what here's what we'll do
Okay, I think Kyle wants to share another one, right Kyle. Give me a thumbs up if you're you're in again
I think that you're perfect. I thought that's why you put your hand up. So let's do this. Let's go salty. Let's go Kyle
Let's maybe see if Kara wants to share another song, you know it
Let's just see if everybody on stage if you guys want to share another one throw your hand up or something
Yeah, just that'll make it easier because I didn't make any cue today. All right. Okay, the thumbs up is good enough for me
Too so cool. So we're all in Darius. I know is in you know, Darius is somewhere with no shirt
I promise you he's down to play the area said he wants you it at a year way. Yeah
Okay, great. Okay, perfect. So we got you. So let's go to salt. Let's go to salty first. Then we'll go to Kyle
Then we'll go to Kara
Then we'll go to like Darius or Devin or we'll figure it out. Okay, but wait, this is it guys
Okay, if you didn't request at this point, I'm sorry you dumb fucked up
because like we had like an empty stage up here all night and you guys have been sitting down there just like
Diddling your thumbs around or whatever you're doing. So that's it. What we got is what we got
So let's enjoy the the evening of music and salty what you got for us. All right. Here you go
I'll give you a live one
And there you
When I'm down
And raise my
That hell
What it's all about
You are the only one help me
Believe in me
You are the only one who can see
Inside of me
It's all right
You are the only one who helped me
You are the only one
Inside of me
Inside of me
Thank you
That was great salty, uh, this you know, what's funny I think that's who I was a little I was a little surprised
That you played the recorded version of that other song because I felt like I had heard you playing live before
And then you made me question my memory. I was like, oh fuck. Maybe maybe I don't remember salty playing live before but
No, that was that was great, man. I'm just see like I'm glad you played man. I'm glad you're here tonight
Appreciate it
Thank y'all. I just want to say a lot of wonderful musicians up here. Love y'all especially you Kyle
Don't if they laughed at you it wasn't because of your music. I promise you brah. You got that
Oh, he told me in the back end. They were laughing because he was rugged the whole time
That's so fucked up and and you know, I'm not gonna out the person that was in charge of this space because I love him
But like damn like they knew about wide-spectrum
So the fact they let him go through the whole song and didn't like stop him be like hey, man
Wide-spectrum if you got an iPhone and if you don't well, it doesn't sound that good
At least you got to tell them you got to tell the people God
But we fix it now. It's all done. We're never gonna have that problem again, Kyle
I'm I'm glad that we could teach you that today cuz it literally is the savior of spaces if you have it's you know
People want to shit talk the iPhone, you know creators Apple all that shit, but wide-spectrum
Ain't nothing like it
But let's fucking go. All right, in fact, let's go to you Kyle
I can't wait to hear what you got. I I really just wanted to say thanks right now
I'm walking across a 30 acre field
and I really just wanted to come up and just say thanks to everybody because
man, I know a lot of people they're afraid to just open up and I
know I have been and
Just really appreciate you guys like even giving me 30 seconds or two minutes or you know an hour at this point
Yeah, I just I really appreciate everybody it's a little bit heartwarming and I know people like me
I like I live in a bad space a lot. But right now I feel like maybe this is a doorway like
somebody just handed me a key and
Man, I might as well go through the door if I got the keys. So, thank you everybody. Appreciate you
Man, that's
That's fucking cool to hear
Dude, you're welcome on this stage any time you want
I know I can speak for me and Mila on this like you're you're welcome any time and Tony
You know when Tony's life calms down. He's gonna be back
But yeah, you're welcome any time and bro, you ever want to come by on Tuesday nights
to rhythm and wine
You always got a spot on any of my stages. I promise you that so appreciate you coming in and Sharon
I'm really glad that we could
That we could give you that leg up because it is. I mean, it's frustrating sometimes and
So yeah, we won't harp on it anymore, but appreciate you being here. Appreciate you Sharon
All right. Well in that case
Who wants to go next one it one of you that I always make rocky go last because you know
He makes me go last in the royal dread space all the time
And he says he does it because he's like saving the best for last
But sometimes I'm messaging him. I'm like yo rocky. I'm like falling asleep bro, and you made me go last like fuck
So like now it's just my thing like anytime rocky is gonna perform like no fuck you you're going last that that we're doing
Oh cuz it's weird. We're saving the best
That's you know, so either Kara Devin or Darius who wants to go Kara. Let's get it Kara
All right, guys, I've been drinking wine tonight, so I'm gonna hope I'm gonna cross my fingers
Hey, are you drinking that bottle? You said that that bottle is gone
If you can find it fine, it was a really really good wine it was a Shiraz
So look for it
But alright, so I'm gonna do
I'm gonna do a song that I haven't done the space in a while that I know that melon really liked and it's a cover of
ZZ Ward and it's called put the gun down
And I haven't done this song in a while. So hopefully I can play it. Let's go
Fucked up the ending, but thank you
That was like 17 roosters, thank you
Oh, that's yeah, yeah, we're bad
Let me keep count anymore. Really? We really just love the cock
I'm sorry. I know that sounds weird, but you guys got to get your minds out of the gutter
It wouldn't sound so weird if you guys weren't so disgusting. Somebody's cock is getting oil change tomorrow
See bunch of fucking weirdos
That was amazing Kara, I love I love how you sing that song so fucking good. Thank you so much
Thank you for the mic. Thank you for hosting this space every week. It's so much fun. I love being here
We love having you Kara. We appreciate you. I appreciate you
Look at me. It's like I don't know what it looks like on my screen
But again, like, you know, I look like a couple months ago
We have V up here and I was surrounded by Mela B and V and I was like, oh man
This is awesome now. I'm surrounded by Mela B and Kara. Like I'm sorry. What could a co-host ask for?
But to not be just surrounded by these amazing women in this space
Preciate you
Let's fucking go. Let's keep it rolling so we can actually get out on time tonight
Darius you want me to save you for the end like rocky you guys can you guys can like tag team?
Two two songs in a row basically is what I feel like it's like a rocky Darius fucking concert smasher, bro
Rock they ready? Okay, perfect. Yeah, perfect. So let's go to so let's go to Devin
Let's go to Devin then we'll go to Darius or rocky or both of them
You know, well, we'll let them fight it out for who gets to who gets to play the song first. You call her
I think I should go first and you should you should go next and there is oh, yeah
Oh, you're going I mean you're going before them for sure. Okay
Yeah, that was decided but it was I was gonna make Darius and rocky fight it out. Oh, sorry
I thought you said danger my bad. Okay
That's it. That's okay. I can see the confusion, you know, you're still traumatized from losing the lakeside letter and
And so like I know that your mind just doesn't always hear what I have to say because you're like fuck this guy
You can kiss the darkest part of my white ass funny
No, but seriously like that's what I hate about him though, cuz lakeside letter is such a fucking good song
I can't I can't like I can hate on it, but I can't really hate on it. You know what I mean? I
Do know what you mean? Well, the floor is yours can't wait to hear what you got to play. All right. Well, um
You let me show what am I and so I'm gonna give you guys a cover
I'm gonna play you a little little Adam Sandler and then
Rocking Darius are gonna just melt your faces. So here we go
Want to make you smile whenever you're sad
Carry you around when you're arthritis is bad. All I want to do is grow old
I'll get your medicine when your tummy aches
Build you a fire at the furnace break. So it could be so nice growing old
With you and you know, I'll miss you and I'll kiss you and I'll give you my coat when
You are cold. I'll need you and I'll feed you and I'll even let you hold the remote control
I'll fix a leaky roof while you clean up the mess, you know, my heart will always stop when you drop that dress
Oh, it could be so fun
growing old
And I'll shovel all the snow and I'll cut all the grass if someone treats you mean I'm gonna kick their ass
Because all I want to do is grow old
And you know, I'll miss you and I'll kiss you and I'll give you my coat when you are cold
I'll need you and I'll feed you and I'll even let you hold the remote control
So let me do the dishes in our kitchen sink
Put you to bed when you've had too much to drink. Oh, I could be the man who grows old
Thanks guys
Loved every second of that
Thanks, man
Fantastic as always Devin, I know one day you're gonna you're gonna win a contest and it's gonna be it's gonna be a big one
You know, I know I know one day you and I are gonna meet in real life and I'm gonna give you the like
Hardest fucking hug that you've ever had in your life and it's gonna hurt but it's gonna be a hug
Well, I mean we'll see dairy Darius likes to crack back so I don't know but it's possible
I'm not gonna say it's it's impossible. Oh, my dad was a chiropractor and I took to jitsu, buddy. You're in trouble
You do look like somebody who can give a pretty hard hug, you know, I'm not gonna lie
I wouldn't have guessed it from your PFP
But when I saw you, you know real life playing, you know playing live for the vibes competition videos
I was like, oh damn. Yeah, that guy can that guy can give it me and hug for sure
Appreciate you. Dev. Appreciate you. Go ahead care
Yeah, can I just jump in real quick because I am overly excited about that song the wedding singer
Shout out to the fucking wedding singer Devin
I added it to my tabs and I haven't ever heard anyone perform that song before
Live in a space and that's the first time I think I've heard you do it. So that was incredible. I loved it
Thanks. My guess would be I guess would be half the room turned to their their spouse and was like
What the fuck is the wedding singer?
Promise you
Great I mean, there's so many listen the best movies came from our era. So let's not be confused
We're not talking about any of the movies that came out during this era, that's that's for sure
There's some good ones, but are they the great I don't know, you know
Just as Devin what happens when you go up against a lakeside letter type quality and
You know, you're gonna see that, you know, you mess with the bully you get the horns. That's you know, I think that's a saying
Anyway enough enough dicking around and talk about cocks and things
I'm gonna let these two guys fight
I don't know which one you want to I feel like Darius wants to go first though because I'm gonna have to play whatever
Rocky wants to play unless he's gonna do something live. I already know that he's
Maybe his messaged me already and I have my phone on do not disturb
So I haven't looked at it if he has that happens a lot. But yeah
Would you guys figure it out one of you go and then the next one and then me and Mel are gonna close us out
Man I'm gonna say it like beer
Okay, it is way here
And fine do do you load up whatever the hell you want to load up cuz I don't have the time nor the patience to
So, yeah, it'd be a way to yeah, that's what it sound like to me
If you don't like it, don't talk to me
You know, we know it definitely is what it is
Rock and they know we go absolutely crazy up here breaking the stages, but I don't think they heard a preach bro
You know I'm saying I think we got to hit him with preach
What do you think since we doing that giveaway for the Simpson, you know what I'm saying?
You could you could do it and then I'll play it is play everything
Is that actually that makes it easier on me because I I would have picked Coco pebbles again and that's in a row
I don't think he wants to hear coca
Although we did find a new fan listen that 13 year old kid in the space
Love that song so much that he made me send it to him
He's like, bro
Where do I listen to that like and he's probably gonna tell all his friends Coco pebbles is gonna blow up and Rocky's not even
Gonna know cuz it's gonna be happening in some, you know teenage room somewhere
Coco pebbles is probably the Grammy song rocky, you know, let's not sleep on it out
You got to have a video for that. That's gonna be crazy
What's good just rock me swimming in a giant bowl of levels like Scrooge I
Actually do have a video. I have a video. There is a video that was recorded
Was talking about this and found space last night and it might end up as a golden egg
for something, you know
That's all for I don't know man, I don't know we gonna see there is a video that exists
Not everybody is gonna be able to see that and not not everybody will see that period but
Yeah, we're gonna see what happened anyway, yeah
Preach motherfucker, let's go see fondue. That's gonna be one of the movies that you actually gonna enjoy during this time period fan
Let's fucking go. God. This is preach
How are you doing? I just want you to know that I did receive the money and
Thank you so very very kindly and I'm sure that you PS
Process and meaning out of it out. I mean what is life?
God told him drop bars like you serve in a lie
Well, I thought I'd be getting this dry
From the dirt resurrected a man
Just a kind of script yet to a man
God breath to the soul of the way Randy told us keep going. This is how you see it
They try to cage roll to the federal land and compensate the blocks and calling us here
Just know you still a legend. I hear the prepare
Generations when they cry to inspire these women shout out of all the fam like blood so we can
Pray the congregation by their presence
Crazy, I go on through tragedy one revenue life same way pops put down that rock when you discovered the Christ
It's that light across your soul like the Sun to the sky
Magic from the dark. That's the sign of what?
Leadership you can honor the fly
We still you got somewhere to cry
So they asked for the fellowship with days women they walk just like what happens fighting success in this life
It's room in your wife. Yeah, you order why not at least it's a chance to try so many hits the next shift
They pray one of them lie
Connecting with the people a bit and a guy great power known to be in the speech
They say you can impact the world and all you can reach
Great power known to be in the speech. They say you can impact the world when you
What's fucking go
Bro, I love that
I love the sample in the beginning and at the end like love love it was that I mean is that I'm always curious
So I have some friends who used to take like actual
Messages from their machine from people and throw it on it
Like did you just find that sample or is that that a message that you got somewhere, bro?
So that's beautiful right and appreciate that question
You know, we all going through a lot out here and and what inspired me to release that track
there's a lot of people in the space going through, you know different things with the family and and this just reminded me of
My grandmother's, you know homecoming, you know I'm saying she passed a long time ago and
You know went to grace on 311 that's the day 311
And so I dropped this actually finished this track on 311 and released the next day
And I remembered I always had like some voicemails somewhere, right and you got a dig through the crates
dig through the emails dig through whatever files you have to uncover and we uncovered it bro, and I just fucking
Resampled it and echoed it out and use it now. It's on the blockchain forever, bro. Let's go
Love it, that's so fucking awesome
Since we're gonna play it is what it is. Can you actually spin that record for me?
I just realized my phone is gonna die and if I play it and it rugs during the space
I'll be really disappointed. I'd like I just looked I was like, oh fuck
I'm down to 3% and I don't know if you guys have noticed this but on iPhones
Right when your phones about to die like they give you like a 10-second buffer, but they drop your volume
They say nope, they say you don't get the same level of volume anymore. They don't turn your screen brightness down
Nothing, they just take away your volume and all of a sudden everything starts to sound quiet
You're like wait, what the fuck is happening? And it took me a while to realize like oh
That's my final warning call that I either plug in my phone now or it's getting shut off like that
That's what's gonna happen. So
Yeah, rather than me me rugged myself during Rocky's song. Can you spin?
It is what it is for him while I plug this phone in and that way when I actually play my song
I don't run myself as well
And real quick real quick. I just want to say
Without saying too much be but I can't I can't let I can't let things happen because I love this space too much
I noticed that there's somebody in here right now that I'm not gonna name
that is not a good person and
If anybody
After this space happens to get a DM like hey, I love your music
Come share your music in this space and we're gonna and they start making you a bunch of promises and stuff again
I'm not gonna call the person out. I'm not gonna do that
But I just want to warn the family in here
That if anybody reaches out to you specifically after this space
Just block that person
That's that's are we talk is it the same person we're thinking of not the same. I don't I don't I don't know who you're
It's not the one I have no way of knowing who you're talking about
You know who I'm talking about
Cuz I said, yeah all the screen. Yeah, no, it's it's not that person
I don't I don't see that person, but I had a specific
Running when I first came into this space with with somebody that's in this room right now. I actually have them blocked
But you know it shows you that you know that people when you're blocked and shit, so that's how I know
You know what they say
It is where he is
It is where it is. That's what I say. I'm not gonna throw nobody under the bus. That's that's not my thing
I don't move like that
You know I'm saying but I I care about the people in this in this space right now too much
To know that somebody that's in here is a snake and and what they might try to do
And I just don't feel right not saying something
So that's that's what I'm gonna do
But I'm not gonna throw nobody specifically under the bus y'all can just take that information and move how y'all want to move
Love it. All right Darius. Let's let's spin that record drop the record DJ. It is what it is Rocky to grimy. Mr. Darius going
This was your last for
Game time skill niggas see me in these spaces up like a spaceship. They hate buddy. It is what it is
We've been hoping game shows case closed boy, you do what it is
I'm hoping a nigga don't try me. I'm back on my cocky arrogant rocky to bring me
I see all the haters that can't stand the fact that I'm shining
We sell minted out without me actually trying. That's the result of the gear worth actually grinding
Then I double back with Darius standing beside me. I got no love for a nigga who is not gang
I'm about to be the biggest bully on the blockchain. Come on, nigga. Stop playing they be saying I'm fly
But I am not playing intelligent, but not saying this is what will not change
I know you niggas be mad, but I am not staged. You fucking little cop saves the way that I was not raised
What's the care about a thought about that action? I don't care about talk game time
We treat this shit like a sport Pikachu with a jaw a high voltage niggas

Gotta pay for the time bust a cap sit back with clients act that numerical balance
What'd you ask for we are at war only life for a skit niggas bad with a felony
Can't tell what you're telling me fuck a shield what you're selling me acquisition on the registry
Oh, this is heavenly Becky face as Beverly niggas line for the celery gotta bust them down disrespectfully
The same with the blood for the pricing brother. What's why do you roll in the dice a bread on your head?
That's what it is you should take that advice
See me in these faces up like a spaceship they hate buddy
You can like it enough either way man, it is what it is
If y'all want to see that if y'all want to see that in an NFT NYC
Y'all let me know man. Yeah. Yeah, let me know man. I'm not on I'm not on nobody's card, man
I'm not I'm on nobody's list. Okay, but
Thumbs down let Rocky know how much you love that song
Devin you know, you know that that kid spammed rocky with thumbs down the rest of it. Yeah
Laughing I couldn't ball man. That was so funny
Yeah, yeah, what was it? You know what danger, you know, listen, I'm gonna bring you to one of my space
You know, yeah, cuz you know, I I'm actually in control of some things myself
So, you know last night I didn't have any power. I had no power zero power
Muted both of us at the same time. I was like old Trump card
That's good time see and look now my girls down there giving you the thumbs down she thinks it's fucking hilarious
I love that that's messed up doodle wifey. Why are you gonna do me like that?
I'd go we were friends
Okay, I know when when's not coming up here to play a song so let him come back up
Well when what's up what you got before I go into mine go into my little closing spiel
If we could get a radio edit remix of that song and every time he says the n-word
It's replaced with one of the spaces soundboard samples. Oh
The guy like the beep beep or the rooster all the different ones
Yeah, you know, I
Like that, you know, we actually do need a radio edit cuz it will be on DSPs at some point
Right now it's still on the it's still on the blockchain only
But I like that. I like that idea when that is
We go we go me and daddy is going to talk on the back end and see what we can do for that
You know what? We probably about 13 minutes away from a hundred. We probably go shut it down right after that
You know I'm saying so only the first hundred that get in
You know I'm saying could beat the benefits of that going straight viral cuz you know, it's going crazy
Yes straight up straight up man, we we only got a few more
Men still we hit a hundred like he said so we giving away a pharmacy phantom NFT with that
Do we have a cash prize for that too? Yeah, we got to give away some money at that point, too
You know probably, you know 25 hours
That's crazy like hey, they all hit the slack and this pharmacy phantoms there's money y'all ain't get us to a hundred yet
That's crazy
But yeah, not it there will be
there's gonna it's gonna come to DSPs, but but we working on the back end and
You know, you look y'all gotta forgive me. Okay. My name is Rocky to grind me. Sometimes I I show that and
I can't cover that song like that, you know his other song I could change it
But like I that be too many brothers for me
Let's go let's go. All right. Well, we're winding down guys
I know Mel is gonna be back there like, you know, I don't know what the fuck I'm gonna play
So Mela, this is your time to figure it out. I
Haven't really shield myself at all tonight
But I figured so I figure I am gonna play I am gonna play a song
But also if you'd look up in the jumbotron, although Darius did cover it up now with it is what it is
But if you scroll like three my apologies for not now, you're no, I'm just giving you shit. Okay, it's all good
so I did I posted up both of my active mints right now and I posted up the
Little like graphic that I put up for all the all the utility. I'm rolling out for these drops
Which is a I've got a vinyl that I'm gonna drop that's gonna have three unreleased recordings on it
I have a I have a special edition
NFT that's only gonna be dropped to holders that qualify and if you look on that graphic, it'll tell you what it is
And I actually did give rocky a sneak peek rocky rocky. What'd you think of that artwork? What'd you think of that? I
Thought it was dope man. I didn't know what I was looking at initially
I was I was confused cuz we were actually having a conversation about something
Completely different and then you sent me that so I was like, huh is this related to this or like what but um
but nah, it's dope and
I have not heard
You know the music that's going with it
Really I played it. I played it in face
I haven't played the recording to anybody but I've played it live in spaces a couple times
If you have played it, then I didn't get it by name, you know something like you I listened to you play a lot
So, you know, it's it's possible
That I may have heard it and just didn't remember the name
But we'll find that out right now
Let's go. Well, you're not gonna find that out cuz I'm not gonna play that song
But I just wanted to post that stuff up there. I have like a handful of P
I think there's like 19 people who have already qualified for the the limited edition drop. There's gonna be no public sale of this drop
The artwork is fucking absolute fire and the song is is kind of my first collab
I guess it's not the first one that I'm dropped because right like Rockies was the first but it was the first one
I ever did where I actually collabed on a song and it was with my old roommate and it was a poem that she wrote
That we we kind of turned into a song. I had to make some adjustments, but
Anyway, we're getting closer to dropping that and I think there's like 18 people who are one
One mint of my originals away. There's a handful of people. I'm one of those 18. Yeah, you're one of those people
And then there's a if you miss my first drop that's where he's like the number is six like it you you know
That's it. That's is what it is as Rocky says if you miss that first one
You got to find yourself six and six includes for that for this particular thing
The six includes my guy Rocky and my collab the the cover the fondue remix. So don't talk to me
Seven left. There's only seven to heaven left wild
And I know Sima is gonna be like, oh see I told you it counted and Sima
I'm just telling you it still doesn't count to the vinyl
All right, it counts it counts for the free limited drop, but it don't count for the vinyl
So for the vinyl you got to pick up my originals. That's that's what you got to do
Anyway, I thought it would be appropriate that since we talked about this song so much tonight
and I gave
Just felt like it's a great song. It's a great
Song for me to end my night out on and then I know Mel is gonna kill it with whatever she's got
But thank you guys you guys could all have been anywhere tonight and you chose to be here hanging in pimp radio cuz I'm a pimp
Let's fucking go. This is called lakeside letter. This is the song that I beat Devin's ass in the talent show. Let's fucking go
Been here before
Let's hop a porch swing
Sipping coffee in the sun while I daydream couple hazy thoughts that could take me
Through the other side you can write melodic phrasing
All around the room twisted up and leave it blazing set your mind free
It's amazing. Nothing conveys me. Just a memory
Cuz you can write me a letter by the lakeside
Sign it sincerely so I can hear you clearly roll it up inside a bottle
When I'm less sick and tired
Been here before
Top of porch swing
Sipping coffee on my way to the basement
Place to store the letters through the years. They've been raining if I grown up to wait
All my faith in the sun sets fading
By the bills thousand telephone calls kind of good at storytelling
But it doesn't pay it all. Well, you can write me a letter by the lakeside
Sign it sincerely so I can hear you clearly roll it up inside a bottle
We fight for throttle reading soon. I promise when I'm less sick and tired
When I'm less sick and tired
You can write me a letter by the lakeside
Sign it sincerely so I can hear you clearly know
Catch your phrases faint dreamy constellations and days you can feel the way some others feel like I made it to say
That I'm feeling jaded to smaller and understatement
But I keep taking the bait like my life. It's always at stake in time
It rolls on
So well, you can write me a letter by the lakeside
Sign it sincerely so I can hear you clearly
Roll it up inside a bottle we fight for throttle reading soon. I promise when I'm less sick and tired
When I'm less sick and tired
Why are you thumbs down in Devon?
He loves me it's okay, I know yeah
He knows I think it's a great song and you know what man like
Well, you know, honestly, I'm I'm just really happy when I see artists get the notoriety they deserve and you know
What fun do you're you're you're a fuck of a guy. So I'll leave it at that
a fuck of a guy
Well, that was incredible, it's been a good episode of pimp radio
Plug your music, please. Well, I can't believe that I have to be up at fucking seven in the morning
I'm not gonna lie
Pretty tired right now
And I also can't believe I have to sing something right now
Because I'm pretty tired, but we're gonna see how it goes
It's gonna be the lounge version I'm so yeah, it's gonna be like
Super chill. Um, okay. Yeah, I'm gonna play take me down
But please, met my ladies at home and the kids are at school
I guess you thought I'm bluffing, but I'd tell them something
A desperate person doesn't care for nothing, care for nothing
Take me, take me down
Take me before the time runs out
Take me before the time runs out
They set hands up and put the weapon on the ground
I said take your shot, make the best man be the last to hit the ground
They didn't see me coming, thought that a pretty something
Could never manage but I'm back to running, back to running
I set heads up, I've got a secret baby boy
Keep that pretty mouth shut or be my next fallen toy
You might not guess where I've been, no
The trouble I've been, no
The trouble I've been
Please, just
Take me down
No, take me down
Take me before the time runs out
Take me, oh, take me down
Take me before the time runs out
My baby shot me
Thank you
Thank you, Melo
Thank you, Melo
That was beautiful, I loved it
Thank you
I love that, the lounge version, it sounded so good
And Sande, your song was awesome as well
Thank you both
Thank you, that was fun
Yeah, that was definitely the chill version of that song
Sometimes it's just got to be that way though
You know?
You know?
Because I'm a pimp
I'm a pimp
I'm a pimp
Hey, Melo
I love that song
I've heard you sing it quite a few times
What the hell, Fon? God damn it
What is this guy doing?
Are you drinking wine, Fon?
I just wanted to ask, Melo
When are you landing in NYC?
I'm driving, so I think we're going to try
We're going to try to leave here
Pretty early on the first
So sometime in the afternoon
On the first of April
Okay, cool
I just want to make sure I don't miss Melo B
So, you know, once you get here, you know, tap in
We'll have some bacon, egg, and cheeses
And all good stuff
I just got to make sure that these things happen, you know
Yeah, for sure
And I'll be there until the 5th
So, we'll have plenty of time
Dope, dope
I'm going to mute my mic and finish eating these chicken wings
Oh my God
Alright, well
It's been a lovely episode of Pimp Radio
Thank you Fondue
For being the best drill sergeant Fondue
You could be
Oh my God
Cara, Darius, Rocky, Danger Devon
Everybody, I'm not going to go through everybody
Because I'm way too tired
I got to sleep
Your girls got to sleep
Is this what it means to be like getting old?
I got to say that at least once
No, you still made it to midnight
You still made it past midnight
So you're fine
See, like, I'm cheating
It's only 10.30 where I'm at
But I promise you I'm about to go lay myself up in the massage chair right now
And I will pass out immediately
Open a short on Solana, it'll wake you right up
No, oh my God
No shorts on Solana
Don't lose your money quick, guys, okay
There's no financial advice like that
That will leave you money faster than shorting easily the best coin in the ecosystem
Mel, I never feel guilty for being responsible, okay?
Responsibility? What's that?
Also, I'm more annoyed at Fondudo now
Because I tend to forget that he is ours behind us
So I be thinking that he's dealing with the same suffering that we are
And this motherfucker has the nerve to text me on the back end
And be like, yo, bro, um, I got to go to sleep
I'm not sure
Motherfucker, you two, three hours ahead of me
The fuck you mean you not sure?
Listen, I'm two hours, I'm two hours behind you, not ahead of you
But I'm also ten years ahead of you, almost
Not really, not really, but it might as well
Five years is the same as ten years at this point in my life
He said, don't talk to me
Don't talk to me
That's what he said
That's basically what I said, don't talk to me
Alright guys, this marks
This marks the end of episode, I don't know, because I don't keep track
At Pimp Radio with your host, Mela B
Sixty-nine
Yeah, it's always episode sixty-nine
Definitely sixty-nine
And your co-host, Phan Du
Guys, you know what to do
On the count of three, we're going to all unmute our mic
And at end, you're going to start singing Wonderwall
At any point in the song, you can start from any point you want
It's very important that you start on three, two, one
Doo Dang, he's got to be the day
He's got to be the one that saves me
Right now, he's just out of my house
I'mma Pimp!
I'mma Pimp!
I don't believe that I do
I'mma Pimp!
I'mma Pimp!
I'mma Pimp!
I'mma Pimp!
I'mma Pimp!
You're gonna be the one that saves me
And after that role
Look at this photograph
My Wonderwall
I said maybe
