Yo. Ciao. Come on in, Claire. Yep. On me.
I'm sorry, I'm not like Matt I don't wait for people to join so we can just start Crackleca Yeah, I think the topic of this live was mainly gonna be right
But then we started to get into an interesting conversation. So I think we could talk a bit about Ragnarok and then once that gets exhausted, we can get a bit into more about the layer twos and what you can do with them. And, you know, specifically,
Dow or maybe a better term terminology when you come up to the future, but ways to do D-File and Hive, I guess it.
should probably edit that into the title, but yeah, basically Ragnar I can defy on hive. There's going to be the topics for today.
Alright. Simple water, and we'll get into it. Let me pull up the tweet. I did ask if anybody had any questions. Let me start off with you to ask if you had any rag-n-rock related questions.
because started? No, I don't have any questions in particular because I'm not much of a gamer or the fall in the general progress of it, but if you could maybe
be a good place to start since we did kind of delve into this area and we talked about crypto economic systems and game theory and stuff like that. If you want to give a brief overview of the economics system or the crypto economics of Ragnarok,
Yeah, so there's going to be a foundation obviously it's open to change based on the entity holders and their votes, but the basics is Ragnarok is a PvP games one versus one competitive is a competition
that runs every single year, it resets every year. And in that competition, there's crypto rewards, there's new cards, rewards, sort of like you mine out the remaining cards until the cap is released. And there's other things that you can win, potions, weapons, just, you know.
just like you wouldn't any other game. The caveat is to enter this tournament, it's sort of a poker style. There's going to be a fee. There's going to be a paid entry. So you're going to have to pay an X amount of HBD. I like to be fluid, so I don't want to just
start spouting numbers, I'd rather relieve them open ended as we discuss because we never know exactly what it's going to be, what's the best. But right now it's in the not too expensive but obviously not super cheap. You want to get a nice little sweet spot and those funds are going to be an HBD.
And the HBDS you know right now is currently holding 20% you know that's due to fluctuate but you can basically bank on somewhere between you know 5 to even 20% right somewhere in that range which all have been accounted for in the area of the the economics of the game.
So people are buying into the yearly tournament because they want to enter, right, because you can enter at any time during the year. But if you do want to play for those top prizes and be on the leaderboard and all of that, you will have to enter. If you don't, it's basically going to be like practice mode. So once you've
entered the HBD goes into a multi-sig where the interest is then collected. So the HBD just kind of sits and every year the interest from that HBD is paid out to right now it's top-hundred obviously that's due to change that's going to fluctuate based on what we what the community thinks is
best, but there's going to be a top echelon of players. Again, a lot of what the game has drawn from is proven games that have a good track record that are really good at strategy and all of this things. So I set this up sort of poker related, right? Like a poker tournament.
So the top ex players will get the rewards. Obviously number one will get the best and in the last of that cap will get the least and then everyone outside of that, you know, they don't get it. They will be earning as a battle, but they won't get, you know, sort of like a busing outside the bubble of a
So that's sort of the first economic of it to create an actual, because when you're game theory in this, you know, the whole intention wasn't necessarily, oh, I want to go make a game. It's more of like, how do we test economic
of tokens, how do we stress the layer to more than just video and smart contracts, you know, talking about heavy data in general. And then what would be something that could provide good infrastructure that
could start off as something but morph into something else. And the game is sort of like a Trojan horse because if you think about it, gamers will download a 60 gigabyte file just to add it to their, just to start playing. So like, you know, nodes are much lighter. The game's going to be much lighter than that. At least defer, you know,
