We'll have a couple minutes to join, and then we'll dive right into the questions.
Appreciate your patience.
We can definitely do a little mic check while we let everybody join.
Jonathan, can you hear me okay?
I can hear you.
Can you hear me?
Beautiful, beautiful.
That's a start.
We'll take that.
Jonathan, I see you're off mute there.
Can you hear me okay?
Yes, I can hear you.
Beautiful.
Diana, how are we living?
What's up?
Good morning.
Good morning, good morning.
Just waiting for a couple more folks to join, and then we can get things rolling.
For whatever reason, I'm not able to add myself as a co-host, but no worries.
That is the way that the Twitter universe wants to work today.
So we will just be doing this from the main handle.
That is okay.
Just a couple more minutes, and then we'll dive right in.
I'm just waiting for a few more people to join.
We're waiting for a couple more folks, but I don't really want to take up too much time here.
I think Thrive Polygon will be joining in a little bit, maybe.
But, oh, speak of the devil.
Look at that.
The second I mention them, they're up here and hanging out.
So I love that.
I see Luke is in the audience as well, so we'll get them on the panel.
But Thrive, I'm going to pass you the mic first, so no pressure.
I know you literally just got on stage.
You want to do a mic check first?
Can you hear me okay?
How are you doing?
How are you doing?
I am doing so well.
It is Alan.
I am in the listener section, but Twitter isn't letting me on stage, and that's fine.
That's the way the cookie crumbles.
But if you wouldn't mind just giving a little TLDR, an overview of the grant round as things stand, that would be awesome.
And then we can dive right into our panel and get the questions rolling here.
Sounds good.
Yes, everybody.
My name is Martin.
That was directed to me, right?
It was directed to you.
Martin here.
I am at Thrive Protocol running the Thrive Polygon deployment.
So we at Thrive Protocol are super excited to be Polygon's partner, in particular, the Community Treasury Board at Polygon's partner in effecting the Thrive Polygon program.
We are in probably about seven weeks into our three-month season one.
And so we're getting close there.
What we've done in the last six or seven weeks is go from 255 applications for the Consumer Crypto Grant Track to 25 selected grantees.
Many of them are in the audience today.
We've got Introverse, Sniper, WhatsApp, Fantium, 3LOOK.
I'm just looking at the ones that are just right at the top, but there's probably many more in there.
And each of those projects have the potential to earn up to $24,000 in MATIC as part of an $800,000 total grant pool for this first season one.
And this is all part of a broader Polygon initiative to support builders because Polygon is the builder chain.
They have launched a community treasury board, as I mentioned, a community grants program.
We are a part of that program, but that program is a massive billion poll over the next 10 years, $100 million poll every year, which is incredible.
And so, you know, I think this is like, you know, as we talk from the Thrive Polygon perspective, as I noted at the beginning, we are focusing on the Consumer Crypto Track.
There are two grant tracks, and I might be talking for other people here, but there's a general track and a Consumer Crypto Track.
We are at Thrive Polygon working on consumer crypto because we're trying to focus on this really actually giant vertical.
And we have eight categories that we've accepted 25 grantees into.
And so you'll hear from some of them today.
You know, I think the big things that I want to know before everyone starts here is that over the, you know, this week is when we start launching contributions at Thrive Polygon.
Go look at our Twitter handle and go to the page.
It's thrive.polygon.technology.
We're launching our first contributions this week.
So that means everybody in the audience can earn Matic just for completing contributions using the grantees' dApps, their protocols, their, you know, whatever it is they're building, and earn Matic for doing it.
So I'm super excited.
We've had a bunch of calls with our grantees over the last few days to finalize some of them.
And I will stop there because I've been talking too long, and I know this is all about our grantees, but feel free to answer, you know, ask me other questions.
And I'm going to be, you know, really excited to hear from our grantees.
You know, we're also doing a bunch of spaces as well.
We did one last Friday and one tomorrow.
So, anyways, we'll end it there.
Yeah, thank you for giving the TLDR.
And I'm going to pass it to Diana.
We've got a couple of our guests in the audience, if you guys wouldn't mind requesting.
I've sent some invites, but I'm not sure if they're coming through because Twitter's been a little bit wonky today.
So feel free to request, and we'll get you up on stage.
But in the meantime, I'll pass the mic to Diana.
Thanks, Alan, and thanks, Martin, for the rundown.
I just wanted to come in here and briefly talk a little bit about the Community Grants Program that Martin so kindly mentioned.
So if you're new here, or maybe you're wanting to apply for a grant, or you're thinking about applying, or maybe you did apply,
the Community Grants Program is a new program that uses the funds from the Polygon Community Treasury,
which is run by the Community Treasury Board, which is a group of five growth advocates in the community,
not run by Polygon Labs, actually.
It's completely separate.
And it's been announced that over the next 10 years, one billion poll will be dedicated for ecosystem growth.
So I know that's a big thing that a lot of builders are looking out for when they're trying to decide what chain to build on,
is which ecosystems are going to be in here for the long haul.
And that's a really big thing, right?
Because I'm sure a lot of builders, you're also wanting to make sure that the chain that you're building on is going to be here for the long run.
So that's really what this grants program is all about, is to keep that flywheel effect going.
And so this first season, we're still learning a lot about how the board will be focusing funds.
Ultimately, it's the Treasury Board's decision to choose the different themes.
And so this year, this first season was about consumer crypto.
But on the flip side of that, there's also just a general grants track.
And the general grants track is actually still open for applications.
It's rolling applications.
So if you are looking to apply for a grant, you can certainly go and apply for the general grants track.
Then it's funding open to all projects building on Polygon protocols.
If you want to look out for that, polygon.technology.grants.
Go take a look.
And some other exciting news that was recently announced is that there's going to be another grant round that will be all focused on builders that are building Farcaster frames.
So it was recently announced that Farcaster frames now supports Polygon POS transactions.
So if you didn't know, check that out.
I know right now we're on X, but Farcaster and Warpcast obviously have a lot of crypto natives on there.
So if you're building something on Polygon, go ahead and try building a Farcaster frame.
Or maybe if you're a frame builder, test the waters with Polygon POS, there will be a grant round that's 500k Matic.
And that's going to be coming up in August.
So more details will be announced soon.
But just to get you guys excited about that.
I'll quit my rant, but just wanted to get that out there so that if you didn't see those announcements,
you now know all the good that is happening in the world of grants on Polygon.
Well, yeah, grant season is definitely cooking.
So thank you for that update.
And we've got a couple more folks that we'll try and get on stage.
But in the meantime, we can just dive right into the questions.
And, you know, we've got a beautiful panel of folks here.
So the first little piece of this would be great to get a little TLDR on your particular project and what you guys are building.
I'll just go in the order that I see people on the stage.
So 3LOOK, you are first, the first person that I see.
And then we'll go right along.
So a little TLDR would be great.
Yeah, awesome.
Can you hear me well just to confirm?
Crystal clear.
Appreciate it.
So first of all, just to introduce myself, my name is Denny.
I'm a head of marketing partnership at 3LOOK.
Well, we call ourselves the ultimate Web3 content creation hub.
So basically, definitely, it's what we're moving towards.
Well, our platform lets users create nice-looking content like GIFs, memes, and custom images with the Web3 assets fast and easily
because we have various brand stickers, logos, and even whole NFT collections pre-cropped and ready to use.
So, for example, if you're an NFT holder, you simply come to our platform, you click on the editor, you enter a number, and you have a cropped face of your NFT.
And apart from that, we have thousands of face tracking and meme templates that adds a hat of your NFT character or your logo or crypto asset, such as a sticker or anything, a face of a character.
And it adds it to a GIF, and it automatically tracks the movement, so it's super easy to create content for users.
And also, our tool is for brands who want to have more high-quality user-generated content, because, as you know, a lot of creators in the space,
let's say, the quality of the content people create, of memes they create, might be not so good.
But with our tools, it's super easy to execute.
And, yeah, that's 3LOOK in a nutshell.
Beautiful, beautiful. Appreciate that.
We've got a few more questions that we'll dive into, so stay tuned.
The next person I see on my screen is Community Currency, so it would be good to get a little TLDR of your project.
What's going on, guys? Can you hear me?
Awesome, awesome.
It's funny, I sent crypto texts and a message, Alan, right after the last space, and I'm like, we should put up on Polymarket.
Will the next Polygon Twitter space, like, run error-free?
That would be the perfect prediction.
But, so yeah, this is Timmy on the Community Currency account.
Really, what we do, the shortest version is we make Reddit way more fun.
Really, the way we do that is we built a technology platform that any community can sign up for,
and they can monetize user rewards, tip one another, basically incentivize content on Reddit
in a way that had never been done before, and then as we build out, we're going to start bringing NFTs to the platform,
e-commerce, and all of these really cool features so that each micro-community on Reddit
can create their own sustainable, call it mini-economy within the community.
Love that, love that, and I'm sure you remember our Twitter space this morning.
You know, Elon had something to say about that, so that was lovely, but thank you for that update, my friend,
and appreciate you joining this morning as well.
Hopefully, this one will go a little smoother.
You know, hopefully I don't jinx myself either.
Next that I see on my screen is Fantium here, so we'll pass the mic to you, my friend.
That's great. Can you hear me?
Okay, perfect. Yeah.
Hi, everybody.
Yeah, feeling humbled to be here and to be accepted, obviously, to the Thrive Polygon grant program.
My name is Jonathan.
I'm the co-founder of Fantium, and what we do at Fantium is we make the sports investable to fans.
So we enable, on the sports side, we enable athletes and clubs to tokenize their assets and make it available to their own fans,
but also just sports fans in general.
And then on the fan side, we enable everybody who is into sports to invest in sports
and participate also from the success of their passion.
And this is a big, relevant topic in sports because there's a big financing need, right?
And today, without, you know, blockchain as a technology, you as an athlete or club,
it becomes very complicated to tokenize or to make your assets investable.
You need a bank.
You have traditional payment rates, et cetera.
And with blockchain as a technology enabler and Fantium as a platform which covers the technical but also regulatory side to create these offerings,
it becomes very easy now for athletes and clubs to do that.
We have launched the platform one and a half years ago in January last year within Athletes for Tennis.
So that was our POC.
We have now over 20 tennis players live on the platform.
These are like upcoming players who are all vetted by tennis experts and basically sports fans, tennis fans can invest in them,
can buy an NFT.
With the NFT, they hold a certain percentage of the price money that player is earning over time.
So it's like a venture case.
If players become very successful, then you can earn 40, 50x on your investment.
And now in the next step, we will be launching clubs, in particular soccer clubs first.
And very looking forward now for the next couple of weeks together in the program.
Wonderful.
This industry certainly loves sports and tennis and soccer or football.
I don't want to, you know, get cooked up here because I know there's multiple words for that sport.
In America, we call it soccer, but I think the world calls it football.
So I respect that.
So, yeah, it was beautiful.
Love to hear what you're building.
And we'll dive into some more questions shortly.
Next question I see on my screen is Wootz.
So I'll pass the mic to you, my friend.
Hey, hey, guys.
You can hear me, right?
Just checking.
Crystal clear.
Thank you so much for having me here.
And what we do is we are a mobile browser.
We are a mobile browser built Roundup.
And we enable users to earn by contributing data to AI companies.
So this is passive earning.
We realized that most of the AI companies already scrape your data.
They take data from Stack Overflow, from Reddit, from Quora, which is basically your data.
It's like your contributed conversations.
And that's how, like, you know, Gen AI is powered up.
Training data is the most valuable currency of AI today.
So what we did is we made the most simplest way for users anywhere, which is basically on the mobile, to contribute data to the AI and earn through that.
And the way we do that is by basically building a browser.
So you don't need to do anything special.
You just go about your life.
You just browse.
We have engineered the browser to take care of security.
We are open source, and we integrate crypto and Deepin and data APIs very deep into the core.
We take care of consent.
We take care of, like, all kinds of privacy.
And so we make it dead easy for everyone to earn through that.
We partners, Deepin and data partners love us because they now get access to people on mobile, which is not possible otherwise.
Like most people who use Deepin and data marketplaces do it on the desktop.
Protocols love us because we enable the entire protocol to take the lead in running a data economy.
So that's what we are.
We're Woodzap.
We're completely user-side, but we kind of kickstart the ecosystem by rebuilding the browser ground up.
Beautiful, beautiful data.
Certainly, what, digital gold?
Is that what folks are calling it these days?
So good place to be.
Yeah, oil.
Or digital oil.
There you go.
I knew it was one of those.
Beautiful.
Well, thank you for sharing.
And again, we'll dive into questions shortly.
We've got a couple more folks to introduce here.
So Introverse, you're the next individual that I see on my screen.
So we'll do a little mic check first.
GM, GM, can you hear me?
Crystal clear.
What up, what up, guys?
Thank you so much for having us here.
So just in a nutshell, Introverse is gaming as a service mid-layer.
And it's basically designed for brands in both Web 3 or Web 2 to create their own gaming experiences.
And in order to enable them to activate and engage better their audiences in the most effective way.
And on top of these experiences, we launch NFT collections, tokens, we token gate experiences and stuff like that.
And so we are like planning to bring together over 50 different communities and NFT projects over Polygon.
And yeah, that's pretty much it.
We do engagement and acquisition, retention.
And I really thank you so much for the grant because me and Morty are in crypto for nine years.
But just in the last couple of years, we decided to build a product.
And the very first chain like two years ago that was believing first, you know, was Polygon.
So you guys are such family to us.
Well, we appreciate you, you know, joining us today and excited to watch what you guys build over time.
And, you know, just really awesome to have this incredible panel of individuals who are active users in the industry.
So it's awesome.
Last but not least, Toaster Finance.
We'll pass the mic to you.
So are you audible?
I can hear you perfectly.
Yeah, perfect.
Hi, I'm Danny, founder of Toaster Finance.
And first of all, thanks for this wonderful opportunity of being in this space.
Toaster Finance is essentially a DeFi investment platform.
We provide the easiest way to manage everything about DeFi investments.
So, you know, DeFi is very inaccessible for a general user.
But we believe that everyone should have access to the financial opportunities in DeFi without needing to be an expert.
So what we are exactly doing right now is make DeFi as easy as making toast.
That's why we are Toaster Finance.
So we're going to break down the complex process into a simple and intuitive steps that anyone can follow.
A user can invest or exchange with any tokens on any chain with the step-by-step process.
All you need to do is just click, click, click, and everything is done.
Just like a toaster makes a bread.
So during this program, we're going to launch a point system to gamify DeFi.
And motivate users to invest in various DeFi protocols.
Thanks to this Grants program, we have been able to make it happen.
So really grateful for the support and couldn't have done it without them.
Absolutely.
Grant season is absolutely cooking.
And as Diana said, it's really just beginning.
So a lot of us will look forward to.
And yeah, if you drop off stage for a reason, no worries.
A request will get you back up.
Twitter is just being very fun today.
But no worries.
The show must go on.
So the next question that we have is, what is your experience or what was your experience
like applying and then receiving a Polygon grant?
We will do the same thing we just did with the previous question.
We will go along the panel by the individuals that I see first.
So we'll go back to the beginning.
Free look.
The question is for you.
What was your experience like applying and receiving a Polygon grant?
Yeah, thanks for the question.
I don't have much to say.
The experience was super smooth.
We've been, you know, we prepared what we wanted to build to provide for the Polygon community,
like the functionality that we have.
We prepared our vision for that.
We applied for the grant, waited for some time.
And, yeah, thankfully, we got accepted.
We're super happy to be here in the process with Super Smooth.
That's all I can say.
Beautiful, beautiful.
Appreciate that.
And, you know, some folks have shifted on stage.
So if we don't go in the exact same order, apologies.
But Community Currency, I'll pass the mic to you next.
Yeah, so I would say it was interesting.
We have a team and basically it was a long process because we won.
One, we were super excited when we found out.
And then we were talking about what we want to do.
We got on a call together.
We literally just sat and said, like, here are the points we want to make because the project itself can be complicated.
And then really it was, I would say, probably the best thing that the Polygon grants did was it gave us milestones to hit and, like, where do we want to go after and where do we direct our attention?
So it was really, really cool for everyone to come together and just build out that direction.
But it was fun.
It was exciting.
It was, I would also say, a little nerve-wracking because the grant proposal was never going to be perfect.
So it was when, like, every single time I went through to review it, it was like, okay, what can I make better?
And then it just got to a point where I'm like, okay, we'll send it and pray for the best is basically what happened.
Definitely can understand that.
But congratulations again.
And just excited to watch what you guys are doing and appreciate the take there.
Fantium, you are next, my friend.
Yes, thanks.
Yeah, I mean, nothing much to add.
I mean, also for us, it was very easy and straightforward.
So the application process, it was very easy to do.
Very professional, already organized.
And then what we also liked was obviously the flexibility, right?
So obviously there were some things which, you know, we weren't aware of in terms of also the milestones, deadline, et cetera.
So that was also something that we really appreciated, the flexibility here to also slightly change certain things.
And also now with the integration into the Thrive ecosystem, something that we are looking very much looking forward to.
So far, everything has been, yeah, very professional and perfect and very straightforward to do for all types of teams in different stages.
Beautiful, beautiful.
Thank you for that.
Wuth, you are next, my friend.
So the grant process really helped us distill and crystallize what we wanted to achieve in a very short period of time.
What we do is very complex.
I mean, like building a mobile browser from scratch, like in a competing Chromium, it's a very complex process.
And the application process really helped us clarify and distill what we can do, what we can maximize the potential for Polygon and Thrive.
And I think I have to kind of give kudos to the people who actually created the timelines and the form that actually helped us.
And it didn't stop there, right?
Like, I mean, Thrive actually enhanced that, gave more grants for like growth and everything.
And that was the second set of like rethinking of how to get users.
And every one of them came with support, right?
Like, you know, we'll help you.
We'll make sure that you're funded and everything.
And each time we were challenged to basically, like, you know, give the shortest and the clearest version of what we've been doing in a given amount of time.
So I actually am thankful for the process because it actually helped me create like a very accelerated timeline, which I would not have done otherwise.
So, yeah, thanks for that.
Absolutely, absolutely.
Thank you for joining us and for that little update as well.
And next that I see on my screen is Intraverse.
So we'll pass the mic to you.
Of course.
So the application, if I'm not wrong, was through Thrive Protocol.
So the whole Polygon team has been always super, like, nice and cool with us.
We collaborated also in the past.
But I have to shout out to Thrive Protocol, especially on their website.
It was done pretty smooth.
The distribution was really cool.
They asked the right question in the sense that it wasn't heavy to apply.
Like, it was really nice.
Usually there are there is a bunch of questions, but it was all divided in good sections that for my team wasn't that hard to apply.
And I suggest anyone who would like, like, in the next batch to try to apply for a grant.
I highly suggest to try because it's not that complicated.
It was really nice.
Beautiful, beautiful.
And thank you for sharing.
Grant season is just beginning.
So like Diana said, there'll be more opportunities down the road.
So definitely stay tuned on that.
And my friend, Toaster Finance, I will pass the mic to you.
So actually, we all haven't received the full grant yet.
But still, as several people have mentioned earlier, the support has been outstanding.
We have already benefited a lot from their support.
So the Stripe Polygon has provided us with the resources to launch a comprehensive reward program.
And they cover the cost and allowed us to offer huge rewards to our users.
And one more, these grants gave us numerous opportunities to showcase our service and our team,
such as joining in this X space.
So the support was so instrumental in helping us reach a broader audience and grow our platform.
So we are incredibly grateful for their ongoing assistance and so excited about the future.
Absolutely.
Definitely supporting the folks who are moving the industry forward is a priority and something that we should all be doing more of.
So beautiful, beautiful.
And the last question that we have, maybe the most important question is,
what are you guys working on with the new funds that you've received?
You know, I'd love to hear a little bit more about that.
So again, we'll go across the panel and let each one of you share a little bit about what your plan is with the grant that you received.
Three, look, I'll pass it to you.
So first of all, we're adding Polygon to our backend.
It means that we're adding it to our NFT collection parser that will let us easily fetch NFT collections data from marketplaces.
I mean, Polygon NFT collections and crop faces for Polygon NFT collections as well.
So secondly, after the integration, our platform will support Polygon wallets and Polygon token gated features.
It means that after connecting a wallet, users will be able to access extended list of our features,
including something like a custom face feature that lets you add your own cropped face or a sticker that we don't have on the platform.
The last used feature that we have only for connected wallets.
I mean, users who can connect their wallet that saves all the assets that you recently used and you don't have to look for them.
Again, also like the projects feature that we're currently building and it will let you save a template of a, yeah, of content that you haven't finished yet for later.
The similar process as it works with Canva or Photoshop, but online for free.
And also we'll soon launch a token gated Polygon community area, which is a branded, will be a branded token gated space with lots of Polygon branded content that we'll create,
including those GIFs with face tracking memes.
And they will only be available if you hold at least one Matic on your wallet.
And subsequently it will let us create such token gated spaces or widgets for other Polygon projects willing to join, willing to integrate with us.
So, yeah, if anyone of you guys who are listening are interested in partnering, collabing, it's actually a part of our grant program.
Yeah, something that we want to do is embark projects for totally free, of course.
So, we're totally open.
Feel free to DM us.
And, yeah, that's what we're going to achieve or plan to achieve.
Beautiful.
Thank you for sharing.
And, yeah, the space is pretty small.
So, collaborating with each other is definitely an awesome opportunity.
Community Currency, I will pass them like you.
Yeah, so, there's a lot we're working on.
One thing that feature we just released that I'm super excited about that we'll be able to continue to fund with the grant is we just deployed a Polygon faucet directly through Reddit, which is really, really cool.
So, the tokens we create are on Reddit.
We allow users to earn them off-chain.
And then, at any point, they can withdraw them to an on-chain wallet, which is great.
It makes it super easy.
The commands are really easy for users to follow.
But then we're going, okay, well, if you earn some random token and you're a new user and you're not a Web3 native, now you need MATIC to actually use it.
So, we deployed a feature where users can register their wallet address and then they literally just type exclamation point gas and they get .05 MATIC to use on-chain.
It sends it directly to their wallet.
Now, obviously, over time, that's going to get depleted and we're going to be able to use some of the funds to keep that faucet on Reddit to really onboard Web2 users to Web3.
Another thing we're working on is a marketplace where users can or communities can build NFT memberships for their communities to allow certain features.
So, I know I said earlier you earn rewards for your posts, but these memberships may give a bonus on the rewards you earn.
They may allow you to post pictures and GIFs in the comments instead of just text.
They can do all sorts of fun things that way.
We are working to develop an exchange feature for the off-chain points users have.
So, one example using Polygon, Bitcoin is on the community currency and Polygon, the token gone, is on it.
And if users want to swap off-chain balances, right now there's no way to do it.
And we want to build a browser extension to allow users to swap their off-chain tokens from one community to the next so that they can tip in their preferred token.
And I would say that's the sum of them.
Then there's also a debit upgrade, which is basically Reddit developers, where we're going to basically teach other developers how to deploy their own tokens within the communities they work on.
We really see ourselves as building the infrastructure to Web3 on Reddit.
And really, it's giving part of the – one of the friction points, I think, in crypto is like you talk about the AgLayer, ZK, EVM, and all of the pessimistic proofs.
It's all super cool, but it's tough to get users who don't use crypto to get it to resonate.
So, we want to make it literally as easy to onboard as it is to type on your keyboard is really the feature.
So, if we can do that, that's what we want to do.
And that takes a lot of time and design work because if anyone's tried to develop on Web3, they know that it's quite the challenge.
So, we're just really looking forward to figuring out ways to make it easier for people.
100%. Definitely important.
And the good thing about Reddit is those folks are very honest.
They will definitely let you know what their opinion is.
So, always good to get feedback from that platform as well.
Fancy, I will pass the mic to you, my friend.
Yes, thanks.
So, so far, it's mostly it's three things.
First, it's about automating our athlete onboarding process.
So, today we have quite a lot of backlog of players, of athletes in the tennis space who want to launch on Finansium,
who need money and want to launch a financing campaign.
And right now, it's very like the manual process to onboard them.
So, this is something we are looking to more and more automate and we will use the grant for.
To be able to just launch and onboard more players.
And the second thing is the regulatory side.
So, we are in the final step of the process of obtaining the regulatory security license for Europe.
And for that, we need to do some operational changes.
And that's also a bit of an investment.
So, doing that and we need that license in order to launch the first soccer or how you call it, football clubs in Europe.
So, that's going to be happening in the next weeks.
And then, the third one, the final one is also our loyalty program.
So, we are launching our point-based loyalty program soon where we will be rewarding our community for certain actions.
Promoting Finansium, promoting the players on Finansium, giving them, you know, an audience.
So, that's something we are quite excited to.
And then, rewards will come in the form of tennis tournament tickets there, grand slams or football tickets, etc.
So, there will be certain ruffles, but then also other sorts of rewards giving out to the community.
So, yeah, very excited to make that happen now in the next couple of weeks and to involve also, obviously, the Thrive Contributor community into it.
Busy, busy.
Thank you for sharing.
No time like the present.
I love that.
Wutz, I will pass the mic to you, my friend.
Hey, thanks, folks.
So, our mission is basically to kickstart the ecosystem, right?
Like, you know, our partners on Polygon, the Polygon Protocol, etc.
You know, I heard someone talk about creating extensions for users and user onboarding.
That's the problem we want to kill.
That's the problem we want to solve.
So, the very magical thing is that we're actually already talking to some of the other teams in the current cohort.
And a lot of them want to access users on the mobile.
They want to make it simpler for them to onboard.
They want to kickstart the data economy for them.
And we are actually, like, you know, as part of our grants proposal and everything, we are actually working with some of the partners on Polygon.
And one of the big initiatives that we are doing is obviously, like, you know, making a surface in Polygon as a token itself natively integrated into the mobile browser.
You don't need any new extensions.
You don't need an extra wallet.
Have it work natively.
Don't need to install anything.
Don't need to do anything.
So, we really, like, see ourselves as unblocking a lot of partners who really want to do this on the mobile.
And that's actually going to be our highest priority during this transition.
And that's what we've already started working on.
So, yeah, that's basically it.
Beautiful, beautiful.
Thank you for sharing.
Introverse, you are the next person that I see on my screen.
So, I'll pass the mic to you.
So, the grant we got has the objective for us of driving user acquisition and facilitating on-chain transactions.
So, as I said before, we are bringing together over 50 different communities and NFT projects, 45 already confirmed.
And we anticipate reaching at least 60 communities.
And they are coming from, like, communities from multiple chains, including Ethereum, Solana, Waxx and Lina.
They are all in collaboration together to get into Polygon.
And they are all, like, participating in this huge game activation.
And so, we are actually doing for all this community promotion, engagement on Polygon, and giving more utilities to their NFTs, especially in-game.
Because you can use your NFTs in-game if you're participating in the competition.
And also, there is the revenue sharing from the NFT sales.
So, we have, we are planning to launch an NFT collection on Polygon that is basically 50% goes to the price spot, 40% goes back to the projects, to the NFT projects.
So, right back to the community and 10% just to introverse.
And this NFT collection, the game activation and all these, you know, game tournament will bring from 20,000 to 100,000 transactions on-chain, thanks to mint burning, transfer, etc.
So, it's, like, a huge activation.
And we are already in collaboration with a lot of other partners, Woofie, Forge, Dequest, Alcor, Kitty, Inu, BR1.
Recently, Magic Eden also, we got, we onboarded them.
And so, yeah, it's basically, this is the goal for, for us in introverse with Polygon.
Beautiful, beautiful.
Thank you for sharing.
A lot of things going on, I see.
So, that's awesome.
Toaster, next person I see on my screen is you, my friend.
Yeah, thanks, my friend.
Recently, we've been working on adding some, some really cool features to our platforms.
We've added a point system to gamify DeFi and motivate users to invest in various DeFi protocols.
So, maybe in this week, we might launch our reward program where users can earn borders, which is the name of points in our service.
So, you can receive borders by investing in some protocols, exchange any tokens to any tokens, installing our app to home screen, or we have also referral points.
So, if you collect a hundred borders, you're going to be able to claim $5 in Matic.
So, make sure you guys to get your share of the rewards.
And plus, we're going to, we're going to give back to our initial users by sharing a portion of our team grants.
So, we'll be distributing a part of the grant we received to those who have accumulated lots of borders.
So, stay tuned and get ready for some exciting rewards.
Yeah, thank you.
Thank you for sharing as well.
Well, those are the main questions that we had.
But I will pass it back to Diana and then Thrive just to get their takes, perspectives, and thoughts as well.
Diana, we'll pass the mic to you.
Yeah, no, I just want to say thanks, everyone, for coming and chatting about your experience.
It's awesome to get the community together and just to see what everyone's building.
I don't know much to say.
I kind of shelled everything at the beginning about the grants program.
So, I'll just say that one more time.
If you're interested, check out polygon.technology.grants.
And, yeah, I know everyone here in this chat is, like, willing to talk about it.
So, let's use the power of community and DM each other and, yeah, keep the ecosystem and community thriving.
And speaking of thriving, we'll pass that to Thrive.
There you go.
That's such a great, great entry point.
So, yeah, so I think this is great.
It was great to hear everybody, and thank you all for joining, and thank you all for listening, especially if you're in the recording.
I'll leave you with two or three things to kind of end with.
First of all, go to thrive.polygon.technology to connect your wallet.
That's your hub for all things related to contributions and earning MATIC for helping our grantees scale.
So, we have a bunch of new contributions coming up this week, and all you've got to do is check out that, baby.
Follow Thrive Polygon on Twitter.
We announce them as they come out.
Secondly, we are going to be doing a bunch of spaces over the next few weeks.
So, our second one is all about gaming and autonomous worlds.
That is going to happen tomorrow at 10 a.m. Eastern.
Tune in and hear about all of our gaming and autonomous worlds, you know, grantees.
And I think that might be it.
So, yeah, thanks a lot for giving us your time.
Thank you to the panel for joining and giving us information about your project and what you're building, as well as your experience with the grant program so far.
Make sure everybody follows the speakers.
And like Thrive Polygon was saying, we will be having more grant spaces down the road.
So, definitely keep an eye out for those.
And everybody, enjoy your day.
Enjoy your week.
Another beautiful week in the world of crypto.
All right, everybody.
We'll talk soon.
We'll be right back.
