How's it going everybody? Just going to give it a few minutes for to fill up. So enjoy the music. Unfortunately it's not smooth jazz today, but enjoy the tunes and we'll see you in a couple of minutes.
I'm gonna do apologize, it looks like the music has been roped, give me two seconds.
Okay, let's kick things off. Welcome everyone to the first official tip off of our re-launch of the RKL Core Tide Spaces. Based on the recent feedback, we wanted to give the community a chance to connect with the founders and the team and give some extra insights and updates on
topics around in the RumbleCon League as well as information on a variety of our public notion board topics. We will of course have a Q&A section at the end of the spaces so just request to speak and of course you can ask your RumbleCon questions for everything you don't want to
Thank you. I didn't know it was a soundboard as well which is just blew my mind. I was trying it out before the space is there. To life audience, not worry. I'm gonna have some fun with this. I'm gonna stop that right away otherwise the people
will get all upset with me. Sorry, I was just looking for a soundboard because I am as you might hear on my voice. I am finishing my dinner in parallel. It is 9 pm here where I am. But anyway, thanks everyone for tuning in. Actually we have quite a full house.
So first of all, before we start and do anything, the host here today is like you see behind the Rumble Kong League, PFP, however it is 8 and 8 and 8 I want to come, no it's the wrong one, I want to congratulate you before becoming father again.
last week you you shared on social media so I hope I'm not giving away too much but you didn't give that too much you would but yes good to be back after a couple of weeks and yeah just now re-endering the the kids
of the RKL but I've also got the KL so there are two kids now at home so it's not everything's great though and happy healthy baby girl. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, but yeah I've got two girls now and there's
my oldest is absolutely obsessed with her. So it's great and there's you probably, and might as well, I got some RKL baby merch so I'll be putting in my submission for Kongbae as season 2 to see if I can get myself some there. Some Kongbae merch on the go, but yeah, all good.
Yeah, like a kid's series might be a good job. Merge is coming up every now and then. So we have to see. There's a lot of untapped market potential. I've got my hopes up. Awesome. So actually, as we jump in in the past,
We used to have those on stutter spaces in the past already. We stopped them, I don't remember why, but we stopped them and feedback was, "Hey, we'd like to get some opportunities just to know what's going on Web 3 space and NFT Twitter is moving very quickly and very rapidly."
In the span of the last two hours, I think my lady's NFT jumped to 7e and then went down to 4 again just because you must post it a meme using a my lady. If dropped to 1600 and it's like coming slowly back up, so the span
I think it's good to be back and it's nice seeing all the feedback and points.
and things that have been started to get actioned and stuff like that. But yeah, I'd go back to, obviously, we used to have the Twitter spaces, I think it was like bi-weekly. At the time, we didn't have a lot of video content coming from the actual game itself. So that was why
why we sort of took the decision to sort of replace which we did call at the time Rumble Rewinds which was the Twitter Spaces and shift the more and more video format that was a little bit of content that's a little bit more easy to digest and you know some quick updates on the game and some other stuff and obviously
people don't have time sometimes to listen to the hour long Twitter space so it always a way to get some content out there quick for people to showcase what we were doing but I'm happy to see it's back now and I think we can just a few people had mentioned that there was a
a little bit of sort of breakdown with communication in terms of sort of the devs and what's going on behind the scenes, not only on the game, but I think on a variety of other topics as well. So here we are back again and there's a couple more pieces of content that we've got plans around these topics which we will touch on today's episode.
Awesome. All right, let's jump straight in. I might need your help to update if there's any tweet of a reference, but I think the biggest item over the last two weeks or just the last weeks actually have been the change of the way of how we are giving our like an overview of the product.
And then initiatives that we're working on. I don't want to call it a roadmap because there's much more in there, but if you go a little bit back, you will find a notion board that we've shared, which is a public notion board that shows the public initiatives of the RKL. So it's our plan of attack for 2023.
In there, in a very project management and boring matter, we put down a total of, I think, is like 40-ish tasks, initiatives, objectives that we're going to tackle together over the coming months, which includes
There's some unanswered questions that we want to answer that we want to provide more feedback on, which is like a community council. When is the game coming? Is there anything, is there a mini game going on? What about people in the community that have talent?
the three decong model, like what's going on with Gatorade, all of this is this areas that we are answering. And we thought the best way to do this is by putting it all into a public notion board where everyone can go in to the dates, the Canon, the updates, see what has been completed over the last weeks. And
Get a better overview of the RKL ecosystem. Yeah, and I think it was key that we started doing this as well because I think obviously we internally knew a lot of these dates and things that were being worked on. But obviously the feedback from the community was that they wanted to see more of this.
We got some great feedback from the Rumble rewinds and the video format and how those work and I think we covered a lot on the game content. Obviously there's still some points in there which we're going to start to answer with a variety of posts and videos
as well, what does RKL's game call loop look like, what's the reason to play, high boosts and how they work in the game and all that kind of stuff. So you'll be seeing a lot more content surrounding those topics as well in the future.
Yeah, definitely. And I think we can address the elephant in the room that people that haven't been following us that are asking a "when game, when game". And we're very happy to announce that the Alpha Weekend, we're going to have a public Alpha testing session of the game and of this month and of May.
very excited to give everyone the opportunity to try the latest game client. Some of you that are in this call as well in this space is that I see as well tested, played a different version of this game. And of last year I think it was in December and based on the people that we've gotten in those testing sessions based on the like
the answers to a survey of the recordings of back and forth, we've done some changes to the game, specifically around more options of the user-encored, more activities, things that you can do more incentive and moment to moment gameplay. And we're very excited to release this
for a couple of days and give everyone that holds at least one con or one rookie the opportunity to try the archa l video game which is very exciting for us because it while it is an alpha and it's not going to be perfect there's going to be bugs and it's going to be a little bit glitchy at times but you will get a very good idea of what
what is the moment to moment gameplay of the RKL video game look like. And this is something which we're very very excited and it's actually a milestone that we've accelerated a couple of weeks. Our goal has always been Q2 like even on the dates before but we've heard the community in our discord on socials and
we want to get everyone the opportunity to try the game as quickly as possible. So next, and I think in the next two weeks, we will complete the milestone that is going to be the alpha client right now, like to give without going too much into detail of like game development. But we have, I think we have like five or six versions
of the arcade game across various branches. What that means is that there are some branches that have like different animations or like different level of polishing of animations, like different level of UI or features, like of all those things that are part of a video game, that make a video game a video game. And over the next week we're going to merge them all into the production build as we
call it right now we are on pre-trod or like a death build and there's going to be some bug testings, some like ironing out and fleshing out some of the areas and then we're going to roll out this client end of this month and of May. The exact dates I believe are the 26, 27, 28
However, we will confirm this over the coming weeks of course and do not worry if you have a con if you have a rookie you will be able to play the game end of this month. So we're going to open it up to them. Yeah, I think. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
Yeah, I think yeah, we're really excited to get that out there I think as a director of CNZ, it's gonna be really cool to see some of the people that played in the pre-alpha test as well, retesting again and seeing, you know, like all the changes and things that have been made up, you know, I get the beauty of looking at the variety of different builds as well.
and like direct with Saiyan there are you know builds that maybe are focusing more on the tackle and how that works in the game. There might be some work recently on the rebounding and fixing some stuff there to do with the AI. So it's gonna all meld together in a really cool
game that we obviously share with everybody and obviously we're really looking forward to showing this to the public. Yes and also to give a little bit better overview of what are the game milestones beyond the alpha. Like we want to do an alpha test but what then and
We have our product director, Grant, who goes on the name of Grant, Grant Breezer. I don't know how to pronounce him as Mr. Merrill, but I would have reminded him. Yes, sir. But also you don't know, Grant is a wizard on Merrill boards. Like what he does with the
both. I've never seen this before in my life. He's a wizard in this regard. He will give a little bit more insights of the roadmap. You're going to post it on the RKL account and answer all the questions of, "Hey, we want to alpha, but what are you going to do next?" They're going to talk about the beta, about mobile, about
like the game rollout and all of this. So stay tuned for that over the coming weeks. I think another thing that we announced very recently, meaning yesterday has been the Arch-Ella Community Council, which is something that I'm personally very excited about,
it's something that has been requested at multiple occasions. I'm just trying to look up the the tweet about it, but the book I found it. It's the it's the opportunity. So over the last weeks, I'm going to start a different week. Let me start over. Over the last weeks, I'm
We've got some voice from the community, from our mods, for like, internal years as well, that there has been a disconnect between the RKL team, the community, ambassadors, and the mods. And we want to change this, and we feel that a council is a good way, like, it's an effective way, it's a proven way.
to bridge this gap between like this communication gap between like a team and like the community like already I feel we are quite transparent and I'm like we are like there and listen and answer questions that arise but I think we can also improve this and
And use our very talented and skilled community to get a quick feedback and run some ideas by them and just hear their thoughts. So as you can see on the pinned tweet, we announced yesterday the forming the formation of a community council. So what does that mean, community council?
So, well, to basically put it bluntly, there are going to be, I believe it's eight members who are going to sit on the board, who will help us to discuss a variety of topics in the community, things we might have missed. So again, we can address issues
before it gets out of hand and can keep people in the loop with a variety of topics. So if you do want to apply for this, the application process is now open. I believe we have seven people who have applied already and the application process ends at the
end of this month and then we'll go to a voting process which I was actually going to ask you for some clarity on that direct because a couple of people were mentioning how the voting process works and if it's sort of based on the emoji reactions that we've already seen some thumbs up going on plenty of the applications on Discord already.
So the very good question the voting is not based on the thumbs up on this God so first of all if you want to apply to the Community Council all you have to do is head over to our discord and your Put your application there and and make a case
of why you think you would be the right person to join this council. And we're going to have, once we have the applications, we will do a separate beat around the voting process and giving everyone the opportunity to vote on their preferred council member. So there are some familiar names in there.
There are some new names. There are some people that I'm very excited to see and submitting their application. There are a bunch of people that I hope they will put in the application as well because we have a very active community and a lot of people that are contributing to the project and very excited to see where this is going. So this ends in two weeks.
a little bit less than two weeks and then we're going to start the voting process which we're going to share more information about. But you can ignore the thumbs up. It's more like a, no, it's just a direction method for anyone who wants to do this. Another thing that has happened today is
that we've gave the the clubs page a little little facelift on our website. So for this another member of the team who goes by the name of Arner who is our fraud and death, a shadow threat about this. But I'm going to put you now as well.
of a little like facelift of our club page. What that means is that the club's mouth, they have a like the look and feel has been re-banned. This is the first phase of a complete club ecosystem and website organization and social platform overview, which gives everyone the opportunity to do C clubs, the Ross
the first step of adding some new functionality that Arnors is talking about in this thread, which goes a little bit more into the social area and giving clubs more opportunities to really be present and display their brand and voice.
across all of our checks. Yeah, and I think it was it was key for us to get this up and running fairly quickly as well. We obviously want to get some more content and variety of stuff going out there for the clubs specifically because we view them very highly here at the R-Cale. So obviously this is a very basic
So we're going to go through the months and we've got some more updates coming on this front. So again, you'll be able to see upcoming games that clubs are going to be involved in, statistics and galleries. You'll be able to update a variety of things like
your story and how you came to be a club. We're also looking at things like shop integration and obviously when clubs have merged down the road so we can really support them in a variety of ways and really empower them to be the best that they can be.
Actually what's really cool about the club page is as well that it has been designed with the clubs together. We had a we have a record chat with them and the very early mockups we shared in the discord and the feedback that we've gotten there helped us really to shape this version that's going to give also like a lot of look and feel and more.
a person who touched to all the future iterations. So very excited about this and very cool the directments going. So I am personally very excited about it and there are some talks on our discord as well about like a club down like I saw some con members or like some community members wanting to chip in together
to to crowdfund a club something that I'm very excited about I will see actually I'm folded up on this in a while I didn't check the thread so but I hope this is moving on because I think that's a very cool initiative and beyond that actually there is which is
a beautiful segue that I gave myself which is a little new video series video content that is being worked on who goes by the name of buckets and beyond. So like the Ape Antics, what is buckets and beyond?
So obviously I spoke about some feedback that we had earlier on regarding wanting to see more behind the scenes stuff. I think we've done a good job on the game front, everybody really enjoys the Rumble rewinds. I've sort of worked on those as they've been released. We normally go for around
one video a month which gives you a sort of breakdown of a variety of topics that we have worked on to do with the game whether it be the AI or maybe there's some new animations, maybe there's some new skins or there's a new arena being worked on and we get some really good impressions on those as well
well, some upwards of 50, 60,000 impressions. So I think it's great for getting eyeballs on the project and sort of bringing in, not only update in people in our ecosystem, but bringing in fresh eyes to the project in the Web3Egros system and even beyond as well.
more on the traditional game in front as well. So yeah, we are going to now introduce a show called Bookerton Beyond, which we're doing some testing at the moment of the format and how it works. I have sent the first draft to the Discord moderators, so we're trying to get them a little bit more involved in the feedback process.
and again these topics in the future will probably shift as well as the moderators in the Discord but also to the community council. But it's more behind the scenes and sort of not just obviously the game which the Rumble rewinds will focus on but this might touch on a variety of different topics.
so it could be things to do with the branding, things to do with partnerships, a big focus on clubs, you know there's so many moving parts to the RKL and that happened behind the scenes that I thought it was key that we introduced something like this to the socials to not only obviously on the game front with the Rumble Reward
but also fill in some holes that people want to know more information about on everything else really. I completely agree and of course we talked about this internally but I think having a format that focuses a little bit on the things outside of the game is a good idea to just like give
of information only where there is like interesting information. I think one of the challenges that we have when it comes to this type of content or like this behind the scenes content is that we are a decentralized company so we don't have an office like people are spread all over the world like we are cross multiple continents and so it's a bit of a challenging to find like two
to create a video series that talks about this behind the scenes, but from what I've seen on the first draft that you've shared and that you shared with the mods and some of the team members, I think it's going in a very good direction that should have something interesting for everyone that is interested in the archaelic system beyond just the game. So I'm very excited to visit
come out. I don't know if we have a release date but I think this should be within the next one, Nico Tuno. Yeah, correct. Well, the first drafts done. So there's a couple of little tweaks that I'm making with a couple of different sections. There was a bit I'd put towards the end which touched on some of the
updates but we're replacing that now with the more the idea is more of a community/club section and so I had a great meeting with Kongzi yesterday and you know I couldn't think of anybody more perfect for the for the job to you know sort of speak about you know stuff that's happening with the community
things going on with the clubs. We have coined the name to begin with called Kong'sies Corner so that will be a special section of the Rumble rewind where you might find out a variety of topics that happen in the community so I probably could list a thousand of things that are going on off the top nine
head but Kongzi will be the sort of voice of the community as he is already and we want to sort of get him involved on that front to add a little bit of extra space to the video because he's got a lot of energy behind that voice and I think it's key that Kongzi's involved with some
more of the day-to-day stuff with the RKL. So that is the thought process. But yes, it should, I would hope to say, come out in the next couple of weeks there was some feedback to do with the backdrop. I got a bunch of lights which made me look like Casper the Ghost. I'm not going
line so I need to adjust it and work with that. So I need to work on that. But we I just got a green screen as well the day before yesterday so I'm going to experiment with some backdrops and work on my skin routine as well because it's not looking great and forth.
Okay, but that's just there. That's the update on buckets and beyond. But watch out for that soon. The idea is in terms of a content plan for the month then, the way I see it is, is that we would have one episode of Rumble rewind, which we touch on the game front. We would then have a book at some beyond, which would, you know, talk about all of the other topics.
such as the branding, the partnerships, maybe some updates to do with the clubs etc. And then we would have our courtsides once a month as well. So then that will give you a chance to jump on the spaces with us like we're doing right now and maybe you've got some questions you want answered and that's the way that I saw
of see moving forward but of course it is subject to change but I think that way we hopefully won't have any large gaps in between happenings on the RKL socials. Awesome thanks for the update so moving on for the next
point. Sorry, like I found the soundboard at them. I don't know what each sound does, so why are you explaining? I'm trying to guess the sound that's going to make that I never tried it. There was one of them where I expected the sound, but the other point that
actually we have in the notion as a to do for today that we didn't do today or didn't reveal today. I didn't talk about or share today is the the brand book. So that's something which should be talking to a lot of the creative people as we every now and then get the question of hey I want to do a video
I want to create something. What are the restrictions or what are the possibilities of using the RKL, like font, the tone of voice, if I want to create something, what can I do? And for this, over the last weeks, Ape Antics and
and Pedro, our chief creative officer, I put their heads together and worked on a brand book that we will be revealing or we will be sharing I think tomorrow or like this week for sure and it's answering a lot of the question of what is the archael, like what is the colors that I can use, like what is the like font, is that
logo that I have to put if I want to create something for the ARGAD. Of course, there is a lot of people that I have a problem that know that by owning the NFT you get the IP rights to it. So there is already a lot of creative content that has been done, like some people print the t-shirts, polovers, all of this, with their content on it.
But we also want to encourage this and push this a level further and give everyone really the toolkit like this one stop solution of what could be done, what couldn't be done. If there's like if I want to do a basketball, like how can I do this, is there any limitations to it? And this is all those questions that we're going to answer with the with these brand guidelines and the
brand book. There's going to be a second iteration of this brand book, which we're going to put out next week that is talking a little bit more about the clubs. So like, what does it mean for like, what is the difference between clubs? And like, if I wanted to a jersey, if I want to like, what does the jersey look in game? Like, how do I put my logo in game? Like, all of the
this will be answered in this portion. So there's going to be two specific areas. One of them is talking to the like the overall ecosystem of the RKL like anyone that wants to create something. And then we have a like a special edition of this like the the the brand book plus that is talking a big section as well about clubs and
the type of content that they can provide and how we as the the RKL also want to support clubs and give them opportunity to make it look very polished because there is a lot of high quality content from a club site already out there. But also like we want to like it's an hour interest that in game and the
across the ecosystem, it looks polished as well. We also will do some hand holding for some smaller clubs that are new in the space, but that I eager and want to learn something. I think it's key that we become somebody that they can turn to if they need help on things.
So obviously I've got a bit more of a specialty in design and video. So I always say, I think I've even got a pin still on my A-Bunt X Twitter profile, but if anybody wants to get involved with content creation or need some help with designing or character development, whatever
it may be content creation, you can reach out to me. But obviously the brand book will provide some really cool things that we can help to build a rich brand ecosystem. So we're going to touch on some points in there to do with character development, which we've seen a lot of in the
ecosystem already, the likes of Clare Booklets or Irving, Scotty Tipping, there's probably a few more of the top of my head and that can't think of right now but there's a lot more stuff in there as well, we've got the physical side of things with toys that Willow's making, obviously the content creation side, we've got things
like Kong centers, putting some really great content out, all things court side because there's a great variety of things on the sort of interviews and all the updates they've been doing. In terms of the infrastructure we have, you've got examples like Kong stats and there's a bunch of other people that are creating some great content.
content. So within this brand book you'll find some really useful information that are going to help you sort of craft your tone of voice on socials, focus on core values, there will be logos that you can get a hold of the colors and the palettes that we use on our socials so that
you can make your socials look very much like ours and everything can work in unison. The typography is maybe a little bit of a tricky one because we have license for the typography that we use on our socials but there might be a way where you can purchase the
or there is a couple of websites you can get involved with where you can find very similar fonts and they are free. As well as that we've got textures, a variety of drawings, the 3D con files as well which was the topic of conversation that a couple of people have brought up. I was actually speaking with Scott E. Tippin, the boat
getting a Kong model for him, he's got a really cool idea to create some augmented, reality Kongs, a little bit like Instagram and TikTok filters where they will be able to be shown, you know, if you're doing like an Instagram story or a TikTok or whatever. And so it's really cool to see that kind of content and
we will be providing that as well, the 3D con files. We do hope to be able to find some way in the future where any con can get a hold of basically their 3D model of their 2D PFP, but obviously there's still a lot of moving paths to sort out there in terms of obviously getting all the 3D assets together to
build each person's 3D Kong. You'll find a lot of other useful tips and information in there and Lord to do with Athlos tips and tricks on how to use GPT to build some AI and use mid-journey. There's some great stuff in there. I don't know if this was shared in
might have been talked about when I was on paternity leave, but we've also got the R-KL Builder Collective, where if you're a creative and you want to get involved in making some stuff for social media and all that kind of stuff, you can get involved there. But I don't know if I've said too much there, and maybe that wasn't released yet, so I do apologize, but I'll patch it back up with a Marcus#
No, actually I think it's something that we've reviewed. But it's a good question. If not, we're going to talk about it very soon. I know there is a channel, but it looks like it's not open yet. But yes, the build-up collective is essentially everything without like to talk about it. And the thing we talked about it in the past already.
I go over the last few weeks but I'm going to have an outlet for anyone that wants to build something and put something together because we have a lot of people with different skillsets in the community and there's a lot of opportunities and potential to work together. Like earlier you talked about Kongri who's known for his very thick boss accent and like his
energy and other people have very good creative skill sets or video editing or like design which we've seen in over the various art contests that we've done over the past year and beyond. And there's an opportunity to put all of those like creative people under one roof and create
is outlet to just get together, jam on ideas and see how we can improve certain areas of just build cool stuff. There's a couple of initiatives that have been worked on for example. You talked about clear buckets which is AI generated, character that is living in
the RKL ecosystem, but there is actually a project to have a small book attached to it that is like on the using the same Clare buckets IP and brand. And those kind of things is something that we want to support and want to bring to life. And the build up collective is a great outlet for this. So I thought actually that we
talked about this already, but this will be something that we're going to bring up internally right after this call to see when we can announce this because everything is in place. Like I see the Discord channel, it is populated. I just want to make sure that everything is in place in place. So stay tuned for that. And then the only other
point that I think we can like we that makes sense among some other things that we talked about or that is ready to talk about is that over the next weeks as well we're going to bring like we actually did already sneakingly so those of you that are following our various channels know that our GDD document on gitbook has been up
updated and it's much more informative than it has been a couple of weeks ago and we've opened up a lot more information of how do the how do the boost work what does the game look like what is the core loop and we will share more about this over the next few days like a grand
There's work months, I mean, some Twitter threats on the RKS side as well, but the good book already is up to date to date. So that's something that we've done. We put like a few weeks ago, we said we want to put more of our like, um, internal information to the outside. So we're doing this.
And this is something that will happen over the next few weeks continuously and already is available for those of you that are looking for it in the right corners of the RKL ecosystem. And those are the main points that we had to, we wanted to
touch base on we're going to do a recap of the like the achievements and the work that has been done over the last the weekend too over our notions it's going to be just a recap but I think there is a lot of wheels and motion and a big like a big part of it is going to like it's focused on actually preparing for
the alpha end of this month. So for those of you that are just tuning in, we're going to have the RKL public alpha weekend where you can try the game, you can play the game and it's going to happen end of May. So it's going to be open for everyone. So this is going to be very, very exciting. On my side, I
I am done with the key points unless there is anything that I forgot from the list. I don't think so if I talk in my head, I think there's a couple other points that I'll be talked about in set reports, the likes of disowning a refer, giving me benefits.
There's a couple other bits and pieces on the GDD as well which Grant is making a more polished document as well as a couple extra things. He is writing some articles about to do with casual play, club play, and a variety of different mechanics.
and the economy within the game which now we're sort of switching over to video content I think we'll be focusing on that a little bit more so we might be posting out instead of just focusing on threads I think because video is so powerful I think there's a lot of stuff we can do with that and you might be seeing
my mug shot on socials a little bit more with that but I think it's key that we get some of this stuff out in video format because not everybody's got the time to read stuff these days and I think it's key that you know not only we do post those threads out which I think are great and perform well and I hope everybody's enjoying
the user-generated content aspect of the stuff being posted out on the team accounts which I think is cool because you get to see a little bit of information from some of the team members which you wouldn't normally see beforehand but of course I think it's then key that we get some stuff out on the main account as well so full
and on some of the bigger topics that obviously people were asking for more information on which of course will be covered with the Bookerton Beyond video but I want to make it my personal mission to make sure that I get more information out there that people can consume a little bit easier like I said obviously the threads are great but not everybody's got the time to read them.
And so I think we need to push more video content out onto the socials as well. So it's stuff that we're experimenting on and we're learning as we go. But we have the expertise here in-house to make it happen and I'm very excited about the way that the socials are going to shape up over the next few months.
Thank you. I will also lead out with if anybody has any questions for any of us please do obviously drop it in the discord. I am keeping an eye on it in case the flying pizza is okay because he is watching the Indomalan AC
Milan game live and he's sitting in the AC Milan section of the game and I'm really fearing for his life right now because that to me that is just absolutely insane because like I think of it in terms of like a rivalry and like we have Newcastle in Sunderland here and if I was to go to like a Sunderland game
sit in there stand and just pull out my new castle top. I don't think I'd make another stay in the life. But yeah if you have any questions please drop them in there and I've been keeping my eye out on the socials at the last couple of days as well and there were some questions earlier on which the
The first one was from BC Camarcazi. It's a GM firstly. I have a gameplay question. If we own three cons playing in the one team, will we be able to toggle through players live or only be able to play as one player at a time?
So very good question. You will be able to, it's like you, it's not directly toggling or selecting players like you will be in contact at all times. Think of RKL as three versus three. So at all times you will be in charge of the whole team. So who
whoever has the ball or is like a closest defender to the ball is the one that you can do active actions with. What that means is you can tackle, you can try to steal the ball or you can apply pressure or if you are in the offense you can throw pass or sprint
with the ball and all of those are there some actions that are only done by whoever like whatever com or players correctly actor and some of those actions are being done by the whole team and then of course there are abilities that are playing into it as well and that then can have an impact on
the whole team. But you won't have two actively switched or worry about which con you want to play in, because first of all this is something that's taken where we're going to make it very easy for you. And second of all, we are developing an in-house AI that should help you to not worry about
the kind of things because like the the offense comes will run in the right position so that you can just pass to them. So a lot of this like this complexity part and having to worry of where your offense or the defense stands at any given point we will help you with this. Of course there will be options to and the way
of play and give you a lot of opportunities to have your own play style, but in general you will always be in charge of the whole team. Think of yourself as a GM that is managing the team in real time. So that's the way how we think about it. So even if you only own one con or only have one,
con NFT in the team that belongs to you, you will be matched up with the cons of NFTs of other players that are there or that are not currently selected by you or that are. We even have some off-chain cons. So one thing in the alpha we can actually, if you
don't own any cons or you own your own one-com we will fill up your team with off-chain cons that have some basic stats. They won't be as good as regular cons but it still be good over you of the play, the game, how it's going to work and the look and feel. There's always going to be a matchmaking so it should be rather fair but
But do not worry if you own one Kong 2 Kongs 16 or more. I hope that answers the question. Cool awesome B.C. If you want to jump up as well and ask anything else please do always love to hear your voice. But the next question is for the community testing session at the end of
the month can well I be able to use my rookie in game. So you will be able to log in if you have a rookie. However, the rookie models are not yet fully animated in game. So for this session, they're more
most likely won't be available because all our focus right now is on the core gameplay experience. And for this, without meaning to sound like root but the key players are like the con models are rigged and modeled and animated by like 80
80 to 90% and the Rookie is, I think at 50% there would be a lot of lacking animation and it would look very wonky and we don't have all the traits done for the Rookie set. So that's going to be possible in the future. In the case that you own only Rookie and no cons, you will be
get in the off-chain comm model that you can play with. Yeah and I think with the rookies as well because of the size and which of the rookies which obviously thanks to the community they helped us in one of the rewinds to tick like the size which looked the best obviously with the
the models themselves. Obviously that's all changed. So a lot of the animations obviously have to be reworked in certain sections so that looks correct. Obviously we had a couple of queries initially about the ball size and how that would look next to a rookie because obviously they all
smaller than the Kongs and we wanted the Kongs to look the best on the court. But obviously we didn't want to shrink the rugby too small because then it would make the ball look absolutely huge. So we had to tweak some things on that as well. But I think even Grant mentioned if
probably obviously comment on this as well, Markus, but even if you have one Kong, you can still play very much like you would normally in the RKL, but it would be replaced with sort of two Bot Kongs. Is that correct? Ding, ding, ding. Is that right? You are correct.
It's a good job, I've got headphones in the dogby going absolutely apes here right now. So yes, the answer is yes. At all times, like if you hold a, come or a rookie, you will be able to play with three players in your team.
Cool, awesome, that's good. We've got that coming up very soon, so I'm really excited about that. Another question is, any progress on any upcoming mid-strops?
Do you want to ask this one? Yeah, I can do. We are working with a power brand and we've got some pricing in place. The quality is up to the standard that we would deem fit for in our
KL NERG Drop. We've had some samples of a variety of items. The idea is that we are initially, this is obviously working progress, but we're looking at doing sort of like a three quarter zip hoodie and some basketball shorts. There's also been some great discussion with a few of the community members and the Discord.
We are currently creating the designs, it's pretty much just the case so as soon as we've got that design nailed down and we're really happy with it, that we can then obviously ship the design to the company in question and then they can create the product itself.
It's a very cool basketball apparel brand as well. There's some great stuff there. I've seen a lot of the products on their website already and I think there's a few of the team members including Nick and Sik who were able to get hold of the samples and were very impressed with them. So it's just a case of
getting that sort of design, design nail down and exactly what we want to push out there. So we're thinking maybe two or three items maximum and nothing too big. But there's been some great progress on there. It's just mainly a case of getting the design down. So I
personally also looking at the variety of different merch drops from web three companies as well as basketball apparel brands teams MBA teams all that kind of stuff so we can really see we can get something that looks and feels very strong so there is
There's been some great progress on that front, obviously with the basketball shorts, obviously we were hoping to get something out for the summer, so that everybody can hit the court and use their RKL shorts to do it in. But of course, it's still a work on progress, but there has been plenty of movement on that front.
And I think that about wraps it up. I'm just having another quick glance over at the discord, but I'm not seeing any extra questions there. And I don't think we've got anybody requesting the speak as far as I can see. So I don't know if you've got any closing notes there, Marcus.
No, I think this was a almost an hour packed with a lot of information. I think we like join the discord. Let us know of this format like it's more of a recap and giving a little bit more insights and touch points of anything that has happened. We know
the web 3 space is very noisy, there's a lot of talking points, a lot of stuff going on. So we want to give everyone an opportunity to put everything in a nice 2-door space and if you want to ask questions you can ask questions and we will be here regularly. So and I promise next time I will go light on the
the soundboard. I'm sure they loved it. There are a couple of twitter questions. Number one is I demand more elevator music. Don't worry, that will be a trademark of the spaces.
Let's see, can I play with X amount of cons currently from one wallet or I'll have to spread over multiple wallets? Not sure if my question makes sense. That's from Tatoo from Coastal Concrete. You can leave them all in one wallet. So I think if I understood the question correctly,
There's no reason at any time to spread something across multiple wallets. Awesome, I think I'll clear it up. Thank you all for joining us. The idea is we'll probably do these once a month. Obviously it's time for the Rumble rewind.
and the book it's in Beyond episodes to air. Obviously the book it's in Beyond episode is a little bit of a work and progress at the moment but like I said we're being getting some great feedback from the moderators. And it's a good thing I'm not reading this I was great because it's so up. It's like blasting my ears. Thank you all
for joining us. Again, we're always looking for feedback on this kind of stuff content. So if you feel we could be doing a bit of job in any area, you want to know information on any topics in particular. For the next one, or you want to see a particular piece of content pushed out on the socials account, we are listening and thank you very
much for all the support and also a personal thank you for me, thank you all for the lovely messages from my new daughter that I brought into the world and she was very happy and our KL baby girl. That's all we got, thank you very much, we've got a like, comment, subscribe and all that good stuff and we shall see you on the next contact.
Thank you see you soon. Bye bye.
