Testing that people can hear me. Can hear you. Hey guys. Oh wow. I did it. You did it. So this is this is Ben's first time
hosting a space, speaking on a space, so really through a minute, deep and there. Yeah, well done, we're at one minute past and you've already nailed it, so very, very proud, wasn't you? I mean, honestly, if you could also
the amount of panic I just went through in that in that one minute you wouldn't be congratulated. I just got a panic message being like how do I turn off the music? I've ended so many spaces accidentally.
trying to stop the music. It's like space is over. No one yeah no one warned me about the music but I figured it out so that's fine. Amazing. I mean we've already got a ton of people here so I think we could crack on.
Yeah, totally. I mean, yeah, welcome everybody that's here right now and for those who are going to be joining over the next few minutes, this is the first ever restless life, which is a bit of a momentous occasion. I can't really think of a better way
to kick off our restless lives than this one. So super cool to be doing it this way. I'm very used to doing restless weekly, which I'm sure our community will have seen. So that is a video and it's edited and it's not live. So this is very different, but super cool to have you all here.
My name is Ben, I'm the head of creative and partnerships for restless and also for Charlie Cohen. We have up as co-host Charlie would you like to introduce yourself? I mean everyone here, everyone here has heard me introduce my
myself so many fucking time. I'm the founder of the founder of restless in the founder of Charlie Cohen and here mainly just to fangirl my girl Claire who we're doing this incredible collaboration with. I usually fan curling Charlie.
That's what's what we do when we hang out, right? That neat pocket. Yeah. That neat pocket sticks, exactly. All the important things. Yeah, so that's, you know, I've been in fashion, digital fashion for a very long time and restless.
is allowing us to bring that into working with lots of other incredible creators and start to set new precedents and new bars within the web 3 space for digital fashion and the experience surrounding that.
It seems a little bit odd to us to introduce ourselves. I think everyone here kind of knows who Claire is, but would you like to introduce yourself, Claire? Yeah, I can do a brief. And actually, before I do, can I ask, is it loud? Do you hear like an airplane taking up? I've got the air conditioner running and sometimes it picks up.
Your noise counseling is doing an incredible job because it can't hate anything. Fantastic. $10 here we go. Alright, so I'm Claire and I'm an AI collaborative artist for a bunch of years now. Around seven at this point, crazy. I adore
Charlie and Restless and everything they are building. Charlie is not to pump you up too much. Such a legendary visionary around digital fashion has been doing it for way before basically anyone I know. And I really...
It's true, Charlie, it's true. And so I was so excited to get the opportunity to dip my toe into digital fashion, which I've been dying to do in this way. So there's a new collection coming out, as probably you all know, and it's a collab between Restless and me.
Awesome, thank you. I mean, just very quickly as well from me here, I just want to thank you for being here. Claire, I really appreciate your super busy. And I've seen all the art pieces. The community have seen several of the art pieces. They are beautiful.
So thank you so much for the work you've put into this. We really hope that the overall collab does your pieces justice and please that you enjoyed the trailer. It was so good, it was so good. I felt like I had no right to be in something that cool, so thank you so much for that.
As I think I said to you, you transcend course of course you deserve to have all of the you know, I do well. We're just so glad that you liked it and that it's you know you feel that it's representing you and your work and the way that you're happy with it. It's brilliant but huge shout out to Johannes
Matt Senn, who created the trailer, who does, well, has done our previous trailers is just an incredible, really artist and character designer and animator and did an absolutely banging job on this. Yeah, stunning. I hope
be tunes in this evening actually. We'll see if he does. We'll have to give him a bit of a shout out. Okay, cool. So I think we'll go straight in then, Charlie. This is, I think, more a question for you. So what exactly is restless times, Clare Silver? I know that a lot of our QBT are here. They probably have a very good
understanding already, but there'll be a lot of people on the spaces live and listening to it post live that won't really know. So are you able to give us a bit of a summary? Yeah, so it is an NFT collection, a digital fashion collection.
When you mint a piece of restless times class over you are getting one of Claire's incredible art pieces a garment that that has been applied to There are six different garments half of which are restless tech wear silhouettes and half of
which are whimsical Claire Eskilloerts that she has designed and we have rendered into 3D. So you have that with Claire's incredible artwork applied to it and then you also get a game ready fully rigged avatar
are that is wearing the piece that you can take into a wider sort of metaverse environment. There are also a selection of pieces, so four out of the six garments can also be forged as physicals to
of them are too whimsical to be commercially viable for forging, but the majority of pieces you can get your physical and then with the other pieces that don't have a physical there will be some extra AR utility that you get with those.
So I think unless anyone has any initial questions on what Ressas Times class silver contains, it'd be super cool for me personally, I think, just to hear some bits from Claire around the artwork. So as I said, I've seen the art.
all stunning. It's very much my kind of vibe anyway. It's very haunting but at the same time very beautiful and I just wanted to hear a little bit about the inspiration behind the pieces and yeah sort of get your thought processes behind creating them. Yeah absolutely happy to. Yeah so digital fashion is something I've been
wanting to work with for quite some time. And I haven't really been able to because I'm so conscious of scarcity for my collectors that doing large collections of digital fashion I was scared of. Then you might want to mute your mic and get some feedback.
There we go, sorry. But because restless would be restless X, Claire Silver, so minted from the restless wallet with my provenance included, that was a way that, after speaking to my collectors, I was able to, yeah, that'll work. So I'm so happy to get to do it. As for the aesthetics and sort of the inspiration
So as you can probably all imagine making a digital fashion line takes some time and so most of the designs were made several months ago with an earlier iteration of stable diffusion. So it's kind of the last kind of like time capsule of
art style that really was foundational for my work now and I imagine my work going forward. So this is sort of the last mint that will ever be probably with that aesthetic which I'm really happy about. As for the designs, it was a little tough because I was trying to make sure to
work into restlessness and Charlie's techware aesthetic, futuristic minimalist cool aesthetic, and I'm often very visually verbose and otherwise verbose. So I have a lot of stuff going on, and so trying
to translate that into some silhouettes that fit restless aesthetic, while still having some of me was a challenge, but I think that we definitely pulled it off. I definitely think this is the definition of collaborative. Charlie had a lot of input, which I'm so grateful for with my busyness and
my flakiness, it was very difficult, I'm sure, but she did beautifully. You are always a joy to hear the Swedish and angel. And then finally, as for the actual sort of inspirations, which I think is what you were asking about before I went off, I took a lot from Harajuku fashion, which now that I've been to Japan is definitely
a larger influence. I took a lot from Baroque and Renaissance fashion, also Techware, futuristic minimalist fashion, and then a lot of jewelry as well, some metallic lines and elements that would go into the art work.
So kind of blending that all together with a little bit of impressionism in there, a little bit of oe in there, it's kind of east-west past future contemporary smash up and then Charlie made it coherent. So I'm thrilled with it, I can't wait for everyone to see.
Yeah, amazing. I mean, the the agents of Harajuku Tokyo Fashion Element is definitely something that both myself and Charlie are huge fans of anyway. So when I did see the artwork, yeah, I was completely blown away by it. I do I do love it. Yeah, thank you so much for creating it.
Charlie, do you want to talk a bit about the fashion pieces? Yeah, so first of all would like to shout out Catherine, Twitter handle, Catherine the worst, who did an incredible job of
rendering out class designs into 3D for this drop. Like absolutely smashed it. They look so beautiful and I think and I hope Claire agrees that it's like a really great representation of the initial designs that Claire created.
the pieces, we say with our restless pieces they are much more of a street wear aesthetic. You will have seen some of the core collection through the key drop, from the Toadstrop. They're very much designed so that
When you forge a physical, it's kind of an easy, an easy way piece, right? You have your tech-worthiness code that's along sleeve and there as well. With class pieces, they are so exquisitely beautiful. They are born to be
displayed and worn in the digital world. There is a piece in the mix that is a sweatshirt. That's the piece that will be physically forgeable as well. It has these like aluminum sleeves. It's a really like cool statement silhouette.
And again, just looks really sick, where the applite to it. Very excited to start sampling the physicals of that for forging. And then additionally, with the digital wearables, there are three different accessories.
will be randomly applied at the point of mint to each piece. The accessories come in a number of different textures that are based around rastluses, kind of key law alchemical elements of sulfur and mercury. So the accessories are
will impact the overall rarity of the final garment you meant. And the accessories are there is a neckpiece that was really a key characteristic of a lot of the designs that Claire conceptualized for this and was really kind of important feature for us.
to have in. There are also a pair of crystal wings which are the rarest accessory and then there is a pair of the wrestling headphones. So if you've seen the trailer, you've seen the wrestling character and the kind of bunny ear headphones.
So all of those will be randomly applied to each mint. I also should pop in and say that with the exception of a print for Sotheby's contemporary day auction that was included with the NFT, I think these will be the first physicals. So even if you're not someone that would
typically where a elaborate voluminous sleeve dress, I imagine you could probably either keep that or auction it for. It would probably do pretty well. I don't have physicals particularly. Well, I do have a few physical paintings from the very beginning that jeeps owns, but other than that, yeah.
which is amazing and yeah such such an honor to facilitate these like first physicals and certainly the first physical garments. So yeah if you're not going to wear it, display it. Like it's as you'll as you'll see
And we've started drip feeding some of the art and some of the silhouettes as well. In the trailer, you can see the different silhouettes that are cloud designs. They're just really beautiful pieces, whether you physically wear them yourself or not.
Just a question then Charlie we've started to very recently send out our first restless physical piece and so with the declare physicals will they also have sold bound
I love how you're asking me this, like you don't know the answer. Yes, yes, oh my god, thank you. I'm so glad you are. They will be so bound. So that means that they have
have an NFC chip which you can scan to authenticate your garment and that will give you a sold-bound NFC which comes with its own utility.
Cool, thank you very much. So moving again onto the actual utility of the minza itself, so you've covered off some bits here already, so I'm going to have to refer to my sheet here because you've
already ticks some stuff after it. So we've talked about the first ever physical. Oh, let's talk about the extra unbind your anima section to the viewer. Oh yeah, so this is really cool.
feature and it will be so to give like a little bit of a sense of order the mint will happen there will be about 24 hours after the mint completes for the reveal and then
Then shortly after that you will get this new feature within the NFT viewer to unbind your animal, the animal being the soul of the piece. And it's a, you know, keeping in
team, it is a process where you will be collaborating with AI to write a story, the law of the garment that you've minted, and that story and law will then become part of UNF2.
Yeah, exactly. So using Chat GPD. We're able to create backstories to each unique garment based on the
individual garments metadata and accessory that is attached. It will then create and write a story in a section of the viewer that will then live in that NFT viewer forever. So you will be able to reveal the history and story of your garments. Your garment will then
also come to life and be fully animated. So the garments that everyone will receive will be in stasis, their animal will be bound, their souls will be bound. And then through this process of collaborating with AI, you will unbind it and give your garment life and a story.
which is really cool. So, Charlie, you haven't spoken about the actual mint process that people will go through. So previous Mints have been on the restless app. This is the first time that we're doing a desktop mint.
and we wanted to create something that felt still in line with the trailer that we had created and the story that we were trying to tell. So do you want to talk a bit about the process? Yeah, so the trailer gives a, you know, certainly some like contact and story around the way
that we have built out this minting experience, but you will tomorrow you'll come into the mint site and you will be prompted to make a few different decisions. You'll choose from
two different sets of prompt words that will inform which combination of art and garment that you get. So once we come through to publicments or for those who are
holding multiple keys and toes and have multiple allowless spots. You have the ability to select garments and art from multiple different categories and end up with a good variety of different types of pieces for your final mint.
We wanted to speak to the AI creation process and although this Mint Experience isn't actually using AI, we wanted to kind of bring that storytelling and that fun into it. And for anybody that mints it on mobile, you know we like to
bring elements of customization into the mental experience and to give you something of a say in the final piece that you get, especially if you want to be able to forge the physical and you want to be able to pick something that is more to your personal aesthetic if you're going to physically wear it.
Yeah, awesome. Just interested if anyone has any questions at this stage, anyone has any burning questions they'd like to... That was my dog snoring, by the way. That was definitely Suki. She's such a pig. Seriously.
promise that wasn't me everybody that was me. The embarrassing news actually I have the dog and I was like me. It was bound to happen. Please raise your hand if you have a question. In the meantime Ben I thought we could talk a little bit about
So, class spoke about how the garments were inspired by Harajuku. We brought Harajuku in many ways into our story and dropped a few breadcrumbs and our community have gone crazy in the best way.
Harajiki for things relating to this min. So do you want to talk about what you set in motion? I mean, I honestly at this stage I don't know what I've set in motion. But we had a few community members
spending their entire weekend going up and down Takashi district looking for portals or signs of restless symbology or some I don't know, Claire, still of a symbology somewhere. So bless them. I am absolutely rewarding them for their time.
and gifting them something but yeah I almost feel bad at this point for starting the conspiracies. To be for like one of one of my favorite things I have many favorite things about our community because you're lovely but the fan theories really go off
in our Discord and it's truly the best. So yeah, this was just another example and yeah, we will be ruffling up some prizes for those who have dealt the speaking of competitions, Ben,
there is one that we are running right now. Yeah, so for everyone that is currently in the space, we would like to run a competition whereby if you would tweet out tagging the restless account and Claire Silver, sorry Claire,
What it is about the rest of the time's class silver drop you're most excited about. We will be picking a couple of random tweets for a very cool post drop claim that we are going to do. I can't actually say what it is, which is a bit annoying, but it's very cool. You'll have to just believe me. Can I?
just pop in and say like add anything that I'm missing here. So you get the art piece, restless timesclair, you get the digital fashion, you get the physical fashion, you get the fully rigged avatar wearable and metaverse is on cyber one of those that it works in. So I would love to
Yeah, killer. Okay. You have puzzles like riddles in some way with the hard jacquery thing. You have a contest that you're running. You have physical forging. And there was something else I think, oh, that anima and soulbound and the utility
of that as well. I just like no one puts this much effort in, no one puts this much time in. You had a top-notch trailer that was crazy. The mint price is super accessible, relatively speaking. I'm not trying to hype man too much. I'm just floored as all.
Thank you. We're trying to create a new precedent. We all understand that a lot of what drives this space right now is speculative investment, which is
of valid and we're always trying to drive value in that sense as well. But for the longevity of the space, it is really about what can you do with your assets, what do they mean to your identity and how does that build out
over time. And you know, that is how we grow and on board more people into the space, you aren't just in it for the financial gain. It's figuring out what the other stores of value are. So it's like the most exciting thing for us to be able to experiment and put together
together, something that hopefully offers so much more than just the utility of investment. We've always been super ahead of the curve and I think that it's fairly obvious that digital fashion, especially with AR, and then Metaverse. Those are kind of the next thing
on the horizon one or two year sort of timeline before they start to pick up probably when Apple releases its classes and in any case I think this will be so cool as like a pre, there's pre AI in terms of mainstream consciousness and digital fashion and AR and MetaVar
that those will have that same sort of pre and post moment and I love that these are right on the cusp and before kind of thing as a as a memento of that time. That'll be a big flex for people that have them I think before and can wear them. It's like a rare sold-bound wow item but better.
I mean, I just, I love the fact that, and I know we've talked a bit about how like it's, you know, it's kind of strange to look for you to look at the art now and it is that kind of last era of stable diffusion for you.
I think it's amazing that we have the honour of capturing that last part of that chapter for you because it was such a fundamental piece of what has defined the class over aesthetic.
just really awesome to hear you say that. And then, yeah, thinking about the the cost of another phase of tech evolution that we're on. With the with the rigged avatars, we
have also created them in a way that they are UEF and ready. UEF and being the new UGC system that Epic have created within Fortnite and the slowly
out. So it's not in a position where it will accept avatars and individual assets yet, but when that happens and it's not too far down the line, these will be able to be ported into fair as well.
Yeah, that's totally right. I mean, on the subjects of avatars, we are absolutely looking to do a post-mint community party/gathering within spatial. So we are super excited to be partnering with spatial
to build a restless space there. This will be a permanent restless space for holders and community members and you're all invited obviously to flex your clare silver or wrestling avatars in there at the gathering. I'm just inviting up Monk as a speaker
Thank you for being such an incredibly supportive member of our community. I did not have a question, but I just wanted to jump on the dropping of accolades for all of you guys up here. I am an older person.
in the space, two daughters. So I'm not necessarily myself into fashion, but I found the discord early on and I can't even remember how I found it. But so I've been been around for quite some time and have of course fallen in love more with the fashion and what you guys are doing
But the thing I've been impressed with on goingly just in the space and also being part of a lot of other projects in the space is how you guys are building and I would just say with the intentionality that is so clear that's already been said in the midst of like what the market sometimes want
With hype cycles and people that just want to make money and it's just very clear and evident by the value That you guys are providing day in and day out and staying true to yourselves and and with a long-term vision of really knowing what you are shooting for and not wavering from that but also
doing an amazing job of listening to the community and taking all the different viewpoints into consideration and the people you're collaborating with, like Claire of course, is just awesome. It's cool to see. In the midst of where it can get really frustrating in this space sometimes.
You know, sometimes you just kind of go like, "What are we doing here?" It just provides, it's just, I'm very hopeful. It's projects like this that bring me a lot of hope sometimes when I get frustrated. So thank you very much. It's great to be a part of it and can't wait to met.
It really means a lot. Thank you so so much. We definitely, I think I've spoken about this before recently on a space or in fact on one of our weekly's that I recorded with that.
I've been running businesses since I was 15, which is like 17 years now. And this is the first time that I've been able, we've been able to have a direct dialogue with our community and
the people we are building for as we are building the company and as we are building the product. And it's just so valuable and amazing to be able to adapt and modify on the fly by having that open dialogue.
And it's just a real, you know, like it's definitely it can be challenging like there are lots of different opinions in the mix and so on, but to be able to have this level of access and collaboration is the minute
You know, it's the point of Web Through, it's the point of what we're doing. But it is just incredible. I know Ben agrees with that as well. He's been in a lot of these years with me. Yeah, I would just say like some of the communities I'm involved in and running spaces and just trying to, it's like a dance. You know, and you guys are
I don't know what kind of dance it is whether it's the Waltz or whatever but you guys are doing a great job in just staying true to yourselves but also really I don't know it's like harmony and balance and Just stay the course keep crushing it man. I love it. So just want to say that I'll let other people speak up. No, thanks
Thank you so much, that was awesome. Really, really lovely to hear that. Thank you. I just want to touch on a few things you mentioned there, Charlie, actually. Why don't you give everyone here a bit of an overview of what it is that we're actually building towards with RESTs because this drop with Claire is incredible.
and we're so thrilled and honored to be doing it but there is a long-term play here for restless can you talk a bit about what it is that we're actually building yeah so you know ultimately we are building creator tools and a standard for
intropable variables. So the platform that RESTless is evolving into is something that will allow not just like amazing artists who are collaborating with right now like Claire and Grampin, but any creator or
brand artist designer to come in and easily put together and build their own metaverse wearables, whether they are a 2D or a 3D designer, we have the tools to facilitate that, and to publish into
open metaverse publish into traditional games of which we have for a lot of you know a lot of president precedent of working with over the years we have some incredible partnerships that will be progressively announcing through the year and you know it really came
from my experience in the traditional fashion industry, it's very, very difficult to even be in the privileged position to be able to break into that industry. You need to go to one of maybe five
universities to do your fashion degree to be within the right circle and that work. You have to be based in some of the most expensive to live in cities in the world for years, like grinding on free or low paid internships. It's just a near impossible
industry and then even if you've done all that the chance of the pandemic success in the industry are very slim. And what we have now with the kind of advent of digital fashion and this like $60 billion game-skinned industry is the ability for brands to start
in a different way and to be started by any talented creative person who is living anywhere in the world as long as they have access to a computer and an internet connection. And you know we just want to make it as easy as possible for
creators to be able to create and to be able to publish into these platforms that maybe they wouldn't be able to get a partnership with themselves. And I'm also want to make it easy for any individual to be able to really participate in the creation of their digital identity as well. So,
If you're not an artist publishing the rest of the platform as an individual, you can come in, you can design your look, you can take elements from multiple different artists and designers who will all get paid royalty from the final piece that you create, and you can then take that into the games and spaces that you like to inhabit.
it and you can redeem yourself with physical as well. So that is what we're building and being able to do these collaborations like we're doing with Claire right now, it just kind of helps to showcase exactly what is possible as we build out those tools
Yeah, totally. Back to the mint tomorrow then Charlie, do you want to run through the details? So mint's available, art pieces, etc. Just so everyone is
for the clue dub. Yeah, so I don't have the numbers in front of me. Am I right? That it's well, 136 minutes. Correct. Yes. Within that, there are a range of one of ones, additions
of 3 editions of 5, 6 editions of 6 editions of 9 and editions of 17. The highest edition is edition of 17. So that makes up the 2011 edition.
36 minutes. The allow list is for holders of the restless key and of restless times cryptodes. There is a guaranteed mint for every holder. You have one mint per wallet. If you're holding both a key and a toad in the same
wallets, you have two minutes from that wallet. The price for keyholders is 0.13 ETH. The price for totals is 0.15 ETH and the price for public mint, which opens at 10 p.m. Eastern time tomorrow.
is .2 if the snapshot for a lourist is taking place tonight at 7pm ET so that is what about how many hours away not very many hours away
Not sure. A few hours away. I can't talk and do the timezone calculation. What was it? What was the time? 7pm Eastern time. That's a yeah about four hours. Thank you. Oh wait, no. Two thirty central times.
Yeah, yeah, like four hours. We're close. We're close. Couple hours. Four hours last to be able to secure an allowless spot. If you want to pick up a key or a restless code on secondaries, the secondaries links are all
in the very detailed pinned tweet on the restless account that already has all of this information in a much more concise and easy to understand way than me babbling right now. And yeah, that is the key information. The AllowListment opens at 2.5
PM each time tomorrow. Yeah, I will also add as well that keyholders are also eligible for an exclusive keyholder claim as well as part of this collaboration that is only for our restless keyholders.
Yeah, I'm going to tweet out a little on what that claim is shortly after the space as well. And do you want to talk about the name of it as well? Well, I think you should talk about the name of it because pixel-guys I believe was well,
It was a collaborative effort, but it was coming from your concept. No, the name of the claim is entirely my responsibility because Ben hates it, so therefore it's mine.
the clam. So because the restless toads claim was as cute old toad, his name was claimant, we decided to keep the theme. So yeah, the
the claim is the claim. I'm sorry everyone. I can see Luke is in this crowd. Luke is probably nodding with approval right now. Luke is so proud of me being the top tier partner of
on our team. Yeah, okay. Well, I mean, so far none of the community have thrown any hate to me about the clams, so I'm fine with it. It's totally fine. Any questions from the crowd at the moment?
Like, is anyone raising their hands?
Doesn't look like we have any questions, but as per we are in discord, we are on Twitter, so any questions that you guys have about minting or anything else, ideally kind of on steam, but I guess if you have just random personal questions, by all means shoot your
But yeah, we are in discord and we are on Twitter and we, yeah, we're probably not going to be sleeping much for the next couple of days, so we'll be around. Yeah, probably not. I just want to say again, a huge thank you to Claire for all of the work that you
put into these pieces and for being here with us as part of the mainline restless roadmap it's super cool to have you here. And also if we're just being an absolute hero in the space and generally huge thanks. You sweetie. We need you. You sweetie. No, I'm thrilled to be part of this. The honours genuinely mind. Thanks for giving me
the opportunity to work with digital fashion in a way that I didn't have and wouldn't have without you. I'm so excited. And I'm over here listening to you and prompting Charlie Cohen look-alikes in my anime 1920s illustration generators. So I will. I will. I will.
Thank you to everyone who is here right now, just a reminder there is a competition running. So if you tweet out and tag the restless Twitter and Claire Silver, sorry Claire, with what it is about the rest of times Claire Silver collaboration that you're
We'll be picking a couple of random tweets for a very special post-mint claim that we are running. Can't tell you what it is, which I know sucks, but it is very cool. You'll have to believe me, I'm afraid. But thank you everyone for being here this evening.
that you all showed up. As Charlie said, we'll be in discord to answer any questions about the mint. I'll be posting up a video walkthrough of the actual mint process in discord very shortly so you can all see what's in store for you tomorrow if you are interested.
it in minting just so there's no surprises and you can all be fully prepared. Yeah, thank you so much everybody it's been it's been awesome thank you. Thank you so much guys appreciate you all so much. Thank you so much can't wait to see all the designs everyone gets and have a good night.
Take care guys.
