Okay, for those of you just tuning in, we will begin in about five minutes. We're going to let people join both our Twitter spaces lobby as well as our telegram lobby. So we'll begin in about five minutes.
For those of you just joining us, we will begin in just a few more minutes, about 10 past the hours when we'll kick things off today. It's about three or four more minutes.
Okay, for those of you who have already joined us, we will begin in about two more minutes. We're just going to let some more people populate both our Twitter spaces lobby as well as our telegram chat lobbies.
Okay, we'll begin in just one more minute, just letting a few more people join, and then we'll begin.
Right. Looks like we are good to go. Love everyone. Good day to you all and happy Friday. I hope you were all having a great January so far. Thank you for joining me for the third episode of our Rubik Weekly AMA of 2023. I'm your host, Colin O'Brien.
And today I am delighted to bring you some new news on the recent developments with Rubik. If you'd like to follow along with our weekly update report, it is currently published on our medium. So go check out that article right now. You'll find links to it in both our telegram chat as well as our Twitter itself.
So, as usual, I'm hosting this AMA through Twitter spaces and also through our Telegram as a video chat. So both formats are saved. You guys can listen or watch them after the show, share them with friends. Now being an AMA, I will do my best to answer as many of your questions.
questions as I can. There are still certain things that I can't talk about regarding any of the recent hacks. So those are current ongoing investigations with law enforcement. But any other questions you guys have on development, you know, partnerships, things like that, you're more than welcome to ask.
me and I will again do my best to get you a response. So I'll start by going through the weekly update report and then I will pause intermittently to check to see if we have any questions from both telegram chats and Twitter spaces chat. But if you are interested in lending your voice
to this podcast and you are feeling up to asking me a question live. You're more than welcome to click the microphone icon in the lower left hand corner of the Twitter spaces UI or the raise your hand icon in the Telegram chat UI. But again, as always, feel free to ask your questions via text and you can do so.
Again, both through Twitter spaces or through our Telegram chat. Without further ado, let's jump in to the weekly update report this week. Starting off with developments. We have a limit order. Next week, we are launching on-chain limit orders on several major networks.
have Ethereum, B&B Chain, Polygon, Avalanche, Phantom, Optimism, Nosis, and Aurora will be part of this on-chain limit orders launch. This is done via one inch as a provider, and this will enable our users to gain more flexibility in efficiency.
you when trying to get a desired price for a particular token that they have, you can catch dips, you can sell peaks in the market and you just have more control over your trades. So looking forward to that, I know that's been a
Requested feature from the community for some time. It was something that we were working on What feels like forever ago, but we are happy to To include this and big shout out to the guys over at one inch for all the hard work that they are doing And we really appreciate having this feature now
available on our platform in the coming week. Moving on from there, we have Stargate integrations. So we have been working with the team over there at Stargate, integrate the Stargate bridge on all seven chains that they currently support. That would be Ethereum, B&B Chain, Avalanche, Polygon,
on Arbitrum, Optimism, and Phantom. So Rubikusers will then be able to swap native assets across chains via Stargate in a single transaction. One of the really cool features about Stargate is that they use layer zeroes ability to transmit information. So this helps connect each blockchains
funding liquidity to improve the capital efficiency of the system as a whole. We're very excited about this integration and we will keep our community informed when we have that fully up and running. So, ETA on that is sometime in the next few weeks, but again, we'll
be like an accurate ETA on that as we get closer to the release of that integration. Moving on from there, we have a new hire internally. We have hired a new chief information security officer, so our CISO
We'd like to introduce Alexi to our community. Alexi has a master's degree in engineering and in innovation from HEC Paris. And before joining Rubik, Alexi gained 15 years of experience in IT and security engineering with big corporations.
like Yandex, QI, WI, Kiwi, and Roku. So, he's been in crypto for the last seven years, and he's been performing private audits for DeFi companies as well as working for the symbiosis project. So, he's now involved in the process of our upcoming
coming new contract release and is consulting the team on contract security processes, protocol architecture, and working with our partners, other security firms to audit and ensure that the entire platform is secure. So welcome, Alexi, to the team.
going to be a great addition and maybe in the future if he's up for it, I haven't asked him about it yet, but if he's up for it, maybe we could have him come on as a guest on a future AMA and answer any security questions that our team may
you know, be facing from the community and from, you know, the broader crypto community. So let's take a quick pause. Let's see if we have any questions here and either of our chats.
see, Oli says, "Hi, Colin, how are you, brother? I am doing well." 2023 is off to a busy start in the industry. It is a building year for developers in the space, and that's what that's
what I'm seeing across the board right now is everyone is very heads down and in deep in development mode trying to take advantage of market conditions where the general public is not
You know, win-moon, win-moon, win-moon. So it takes a little bit of that social pressure off and you're able to focus on building these fantastic products. So I'm doing great. Thank you for asking, Ollie.
Let's see in the Twitter spaces chat Ma asks when is the next air drop I meant it for birthday galaxy NFTs I hope I will get a decent amount of air drop I have some more information to share about that later in the weekly update report
And then mom also asks any benefits for us those who attend AMAs and other activities for Rubik any any part in your next embassies.
I have more to talk about that as we go through the weekly update report as well. So I will jump back to it and then we'll get to those questions in just a moment.
Um, Vale it. I see you raising your hand. Let me just get through the rest of our development updates and the weekly update report. And then I will call on you to ask your question in the telegram chat. So give me one sec to get this.
So another feature that we are will be adding to Rubik is a revoke allowance page. So revoking smart contract allowance or token approval is important to all users.
And this is a huge security concern for a lot of people. So being able to revoke permissions or access to certain smart contracts from your wallet makes them less susceptible to wallet exploits.
security measure Rubik is working on creating our own revoke allowance page. So very soon we'll present you a solution to keep track of all the existing approvals and a way that you will be able to easily revoke them. And then we have a screenshot
shot there, a little sneak peek of the UI for that the revoke allowance page. And that again is a current work in progress and we'll have more information about the release date on that in subsequent weekly updates.
That does it for the development side of things this week. We have a bunch of things to go over in marketing. But before we do, I turn back to our Telegram chat here and I'm going to call on valent.
to go ahead and ask their question. Bill, you are on with Colin. Go ahead and ask your question.
Yes, I can hear you.
My question is, what do we start with the integration and growth start?
into what?
start with that.
when the product and the traditional individual start integration into staff network.
Got it. I don't have an answer for you on that right now. That is eventually what we want to do is we want to be able to integrate every major network.
Obviously with the recent events that have unfolded, we're going to be even more meticulous and methodical with who we integrate and the order in which we do that.
It's integrations are probably going to go a little bit slower moving forward. But we'll have to wait and see, right? So what we're doing is we are integrating different providers, different bridges.
systems and different decentralized exchanges across all of these multiple chains. So if we believe there is sufficient infrastructure in place for us to be able to make it easier to add that new chain to our ecosystem,
That is what we will do. I don't know where that lies on the priority list for the developers. But, you know, we signal usually weeks or months in advance what the next networks we have.
coming down the pipe are like we did in our last weekly update reports. So no answer for you on that just yet, but we will continue adding more networks to the Rubik Ego system throughout 2023 and beyond.
Thank you for your question.
All right, looks like we may have some more here in our Twitter spaces.
[Clock ticking]
Right, says your voice is not stable. Hmm. Hopefully the connection is coming through. Okay.
Let's turn back to the weekly update report and go through the marketing updates now. So regarding the Rubik 2022 NFT RBC claim. So this goes back to what Ma was asking as well.
lot of our community members have been working hard to earn all the NFTs from our recent marketing campaigns. So now it is time to earn some rewards. We have a list of NFTs that we had done. We did our birthday NFTs. We had five of those that was
celebrate our second birthday. We had two NFTs as part of an exclusive giveaway partnered with Telos and Omnidex. We did one NFT exclusive giveaway with Kishu Inu and then we also did one NFT with
W3DNA or Web3DNA. So those community members who were lucky enough in managed to claim all five birthday NFTs on Galaxy will be the first to get their 5,000
RBC bonus rewards. We have opened the reward claim already, it opened yesterday. So head over to cubeclam.ruvic.exchange. Link is in the weekly update report to be able to earn those RBC
a hair drop there. If you didn't get every single one of those five birthday NFTs, do not worry. You are still eligible for the claim, but your reward will be less than the 5000RBC. So we'll share all the details on the second claim coming up.
in the future and we'll share that with all of our community members and let you guys know what the parameters of that are, what NFTs you'll need, and how much RBC we will be handing out at that time. Moving on from there, we have our Meetis governance Twitter
So just yesterday I attended a Meadest governance Twitter space. Meadest is a layer two chain. And right now they are holding a vote with their community at governance vote that will decide whether or not to include Rubik in
into their ecosystem. So the vote is still active and so far so good. I think we're sitting at 100% yes right now. But if you have any meetings, you can go and participate in this governance vote.
is a link in the weekly update report for you to have on over there and check that out. So thank you to Amidus for the AMA yesterday. I had a great time. They drilled me with some tough questions and you guys can actually go ahead and listen to that. They recorded the session so you can listen to those.
you know, sometime later today, there's a lot of, a lot of really great stuff updates, what we're, what our plan is for 2023. And then we did a bunch of, covered a bunch of stuff regarding security. So, all right. We also have our
cross-chain tools scale up that we are working on. So there's a new article that we are putting out at the moment. And this is for scaling up our tools for making it easy for Dex's to gain interoperability. So we cover things like recent changes in the DeFi market.
it, how the recent crises have hurt trust in centralization and have incentivized people towards more decentralized solutions, what next steps are for DeFi projects, and how cross-chained X's can help in Web 3 DeFi developments.
So all in all defy is flourishing. Dex's are going cross chain and Rubik is there to be their helping hand. And we are also working right now on similar materials for game phi as well, which is a perfect fit for the Rubik SDK.
Also this week we published a link for Spotify podcast that I had done with lifeblood podcast. We go into
what Rubik has been working on and you know, again plans for 2023, you know, how Rubik is going to help the average person and how it's going to help development of a Web 3 as a whole. So if you have some time,
I think about 30, 40 minutes or so. Give that a listen as well. Before I go any further here, I'm going to see if we have any more questions. One of the next things on the weekly update report is just to
about this weekly AMA that I'm doing right now. Link to the spaces in the weekly update report. May we also have a recording up in our telegram later today as well. Let's take a look at some of these questions here on
water spaces.
Now let me go to our telegram chat.
Mitochi asks, do you already know which audit company Rubik will consult for the new contracts? There are a number of different audit firms that we have been in contact with and I'm not part
of those discussions. So I don't have a list of the names of the companies that we are currently deciding to go with. I think it's still an active work in progress on contracting one or more of these firms.
When we do feel comfortable sharing that information, we absolutely will. And I hope to have some of that information for you guys either over the course of the next week. And that will come out in the way of posts on our official website.
Twitter or in our next weekly update report. But again, I am not part of those conversations that is being done with our COO, our CISO, and our founders of Vladimir and Alexandra.
Let's move on to the last section here of our weekly update report on marketing. This is our future plans. So this is a quick update into what you can expect for
over the coming weeks and months. So new exchange listings. We are working hard still on getting RBC, the new RBC listed on major central exchanges and that will be a
an ongoing effort throughout the course of this year. The new tokenomics that we have now allowed us to allocate additional funds for providing liquidity to some of these major exchanges. So as a part of this process, we're actually
actually applying to participate and will be prime vote three. And we're going to need a lot of our community support. So stay tuned. We'll share more information on that. And hopefully we
we win that vote for who we, but they are just a part of the puzzle when it comes to exchange listings this year. Again, we are working on getting listed on some major centralized exchanges.
Also, we have a bug bounty campaign. So with the approaching launch of the fully functioning Rubik protocol and the release of our new smart contracts, we will be starting a brand new bug bounty program for people in our community and for other developers.
to dig into our smart contracts looking for exploits or vulnerabilities. The total bounty pool is $100,000 in RBC and rewards will be distributed according to the impact of the bug vulnerability. So critical ones will obviously
be rewarded far more than just minor or medium security risk bugs. Critical ones would be things that lead to hacks and losses for either the platform or for users and other
would just be stuff that affects the functionality of the platform. So we'll have more information regarding this bug bounty coming very soon. And then we will share our new smart contracts that we will deploy with our community for this bug bounty program.
Moving on from there, we have a new platform usage, RBC drop campaign. So thanks to the new tokenomics that our community voted on at the end of 2022, we're now capable of running more generous marketing campaigns. So we are happy to announce a brand new drop for platform usage in 2023, which will be focused on boosting
transactions at Rubik.exchange. So right now we're trying to work out the exact rules and conditions and we'll share those at a later date. But when the program goes live we intended to be live for a term of 12 months, one full year. And rewards will depend on how many transactions you make at Rubik as well as
the number of NFTs you gather in various rubric marketing activities throughout the year. So get your crypto ready and we are going to have some fun earning more RBC. And then last but absolutely not least is the Rubik Ambassador program. So we have always been close
with our community, we really cherish our community for being so proactive and giving us so much amazing feedback. Our community really has helped shape the direction of Rubik over the last two years and we'd like to strengthen that even more with an ambassador program.
And this will be for some of our most loyal members. So the objective of this would be to promote Rubik and our cross chain tools, our SDK and our widget. And that would be just across to the industry, across social media. So the ambassadors will be renovated and
the amount of which will be linked to the overall tenure as an ambassador along with the significance and consistency of your contributions. So, lists of possible activities would be promoting Rubik spreading the word through social media networks and through other
influencers in social media, too, would be content creation and design. So, you know, bring it back to the songs and the memes and all that kind of stuff, and then also business development. So, finding and connecting us with projects that
are going to integrate our SDK or our widget. So basically contract BD work essentially. So if any of that seems interesting to you and you'd like to take part in spreading the word about Rubik and also increasing the reach of the platform and expanding our partners
then you are the person we are seeking. We are in the process of creating it right now, so we'll reveal more details at a later date, but we are excited to work in coordination with our community and to give our loyal community members an opportunity to
work side by side with us to promote Rubik. So that is going to do it for our weekly update report for the week. Let me check and see if we have any additional questions here in our Twitter spaces.
in there. In Ma, yes, you can definitely apply to the ambassador program. Anybody can apply. So that is something that interests you. We'll have more information as soon as everything is ready to go and we are ready to start accepting ambassadors.
We will absolutely post all that information in Telegram across all our socials. We'll have a medium article about it and then we'll obviously announce all of the details in the in a future weekly update report. So stay tuned for that.
0x valent says is it possible in the future for Rubik to have their own network? That is not something that we are focused on.
anytime in the near future. We feel like there are a number of amazing teams out there who are building incredible architecture and infrastructure for Web3. We would be happy
you're taking the different networks and making it so that they are all interoperable versus trying to create our own network which would just be adding kind of to the chaos. So we're going to we're going to stay in our lane and focus on what the
for Rubik's which is making interoperability a baseline function by having this interoperable protocol operating inside applications at the application layer with our easy bit.
integrate software development kit that enables developers to have full access to users across all major blockchain networks without having to worry about any of the coding on the backend for themselves.
I would say, while it anything's possible, that's not something that is on the docket, and that's not something that's currently within the scope of the vision of what we want Rubik to be.
Thank you for that question, Violet.
See if we have some more questions here.
All right.
Let me check our price charts. See if there's any questions in there.
All right. Yeah, he says I love how the team removed features then read out those features at a later date bullish. Yeah, I mean, you know, market conditions change, right?
I think it's important to be dynamic and pivot and focus on what current industry needs and wants are not only from our users but from developers as well.
And we're going to continue to be flexible as we continue to build the Rubik ecosystem and integrate additional projects. It's a very, very dynamic space Web 3 and
Yeah, I think you need to be willing to adapt and willing to be flexible in the space and knowing when you should not pursue something that is particularly sought after at any given time and really focus
your efforts on on you know integrating things methodically right things that makes sense and do them in the order that makes sense and that's what our team has tried to do since it's inception. But again, I think a lot of a lot of projects smaller startups.
to be able to succeed. Yes, you need to be very flexible. You need to adapt. You need to know when to put things on the back burner and then bring things back when the time is right. So chalk up limit orders to one of those items for us.
All right, let's see if we have any additional questions. Anybody raise their hands?
Don't see.
any new questions here?
But again, we will be launching that ambassador program soon. That is a fantastic way for a lot of our loyal community members to continue earning additional RBC.
You know, it's a...
It's again a building year, I think, for crypto. So who knows what's going to happen with macroeconomic trends and the crypto market as a whole? You know, a lot of people think that coins going to drop below 10K.
They think that this recent run up is just a bull trap. So we'll see what happens. I mean, it's anyone's best guess like it has been over the last, you know, 10 plus years, but
Again, we're in build mode right now ourselves and working behind the scenes, signing on a lot of new partners, additional projects that will be integrating our SDK. Again, with a renewed emphasis on
decentralized exchanges as well as DAPS themselves like Game 5 for example. So we'll have a ton of information to share with you guys as we progress through quarter one 2023 and through the remainder of the year.
So, I'd like to thank everybody so much for lending me your time today for listening to me ramble on like a tech nerd and talk about all of this stuff. So I'd like to give a big thank you to all the listeners
who are listening right now live on Twitter spaces and in our telegram chat and especially to those as well who are listening to this as a recording here at Rubik, we tremendously appreciate the support of all of our community members and we can't hope to succeed.
without your support. So on behalf of everybody at Rubik, I sincerely want to thank you for giving us your time today for listening to all of our updates and for participating in our community. So that is going to do it.
or another Rubik Weekly AMA. I've been your host, Colorado Bryan. I want to thank you all so very much for stopping by. And as always, stay happy, stay healthy, stay hydrated, and most importantly, stay cubic.
Take care everybody.
