Thanks for coming. We'll get this started nice music stopped.
pretty cool intro music. I'm Alan from Falcwing Green which is a protocol labs project and it works on decarbonizing the Falcwing ecosystem and doing that in a verifiable way. So bringing the ethos of Wendt3 to sustainability. So here we're going to talk about the sustainable blockchain
SPS, the Sustainable Blockhand Summit, which are both to decarbonize crypto and do that in a way that's publicly verifiable and also to use crypto and win three to decarbonize other industries. We think that there's a huge amount that we can do that pushes sustainability beyond
the way it's currently handled in other fields. Typically, when a company wants to be really sustainable to a really good job, they publish a report once a year showing that they've been re-told their operations, maybe purchase some renewable energy or some carbon offset.
or other things. And you know, it's kind of it, right? We can't tell from the outside how much work they're really doing inside to really hold themselves to those commitments that they're making. And so in Web 3, right, we have this, this, this ecosystem public verifiable
We really want to take everything that we're doing and expose it to the world. We want to have people be able to see what our environmental impacts are. If we're using carbon offsets or using renewable energy, we want to publish details on what sorts of projects we're funding and
And one impact so projects are actually having on the ground and we want to make all of that granular and publicly verifiable. And so there's a few different strands we're going to weave together today. The first one, or from our team is here, we just launched the Sustainable Blockhand Summit Hackathon, which is dedicated to tools
development in this space. And so, where he's going to talk a little bit about that, then we have Ultra from zero labs, which is working on the renewable energy side. And he's spoken at a stand on blockchains summit before and he's going to walk you through some of the really awesome work that they're doing, making renewable energy
And then, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know,#
And then we have Adam Spiders here who has a ton of athletes in the industry co-founder of Toucan. And I think right now the chief architect of Toucan is you know anything about Web 3 and Carbon Offsets, you know about Toucan, sort of the leading protocol for taking Carbon Offsets.
