if you guys know know his work but he just he does something with Pepe and
with this like this color palette that is super dope and and so undeniably his
style it's it's it's great when you know artists will fuck around and find out
with the variety of different things like our boy animated is always cooking up
some fucking heat some new heat finger on the pulse of the meta and but still
like you know an animated motherfucker motherfucker when you see it like it
just has this like slightly I want to say off but it's like a slightly this
like just different tone to to all of animated motherfuckers where you know
what's an animated motherfucker and I love that man I love it and the same
thing with with filthy like even when he did his jungle Bay like you saw that
likes just a slight touch of the fucking the the light mayhem right that
little there's something about the lines right that just it's just so
distinctly is undeniably is like I could pass the same thing with Marlin
like I can pick a fucking Marlin piece out of anything bro like and it's
really dope when you some of us who have the door like dove in headfirst to
artists into this space and what's being created here to be able to see the
creative process of our favorite artists and and see them kind of respond to the
ways that the space is kind of playing out because like these are uncharted
waters right like these are this is a fucking an entirely new landscape and
these are the artists that are and look if we got pasta come in here to like
talk about everybody all these artists having in their own right they're just
their own and be fucked man like I don't I don't I you know I could go I
could go on about the motherfucker artists but like to see all you guys here
and in one group is kind of crazy to me as a fan and it's like jungle Bay like
to me it feels like the best kept secret similar to motherfuckers right like you
see what MSV and and Thompson did with getting their shit in Lowe's right and
obviously everybody knows about the Amazon and pudgy penguins penguins but
it's like and nobody even talks about that these guys got motherfuckers flags
of motherfuckers in like the most Middle America fucking institutional
franchise bro it just just cuz they could and they put a fucking red band in
on one of them for the first product like that and yet it just goes
completely unnoticed cuz it's not fucking I don't know flashy enough or
whatever it is it does it but I love that man I love this like it's like we
can operate and we can do all this stuff in plain sight until it's too late
for motherfuckers to be able to fully grasp it right and it's like I mean
look at we got bees fucking Pepe cars coming out again like I know I know
I've been looking forward to that one and like seeing all these crazy fucking
hundred X days and then these these projects rolling out and NFTs all of a
sudden bubbling up and I'm like and all these like high fucking caught entryments
like I supply like it's so refreshing man that we have this pocket of
motherfucker artists that like understand the process and like like embrace it in
a way where it's like undeniable right and and animate I saw you just jump up
here too I want to say hi to you and thanks for coming through I don't want
to just fucking ramble on but jm jm jm what's up doc oh good oh good and good
this piece is pretty dope this oasis where the memes go to recharge I think
I think Ruben really it was cool to see that he stayed with his normal kind of
palette or color palette but incorporated Jungle Bay and like the vibe that at
least I feel Jungle Bay Island has like it in where it resides in my mind right
like it's just I don't know it's cool to see like a different artist interpret
what Jungle Bay is what Jungle Bay Island is and also like not even
interpret like dictate right like create like like sculpt it because that's what
it feels like has happened through each of the contributions from yourself who I
mean you kicked off season one card one bro I would have would add it and like
that was when like you didn't know I didn't know like what the fuck this was
gonna be intended to obviously we had like a blueprint of rare Mephers and rare
Pepe's and also with six five six five to nine meme cards were doing but you
really set the tone and you in that piece incorporated so many pieces of like
what was happening there like from from parachica to bats the bats ooh I don't
know what you call it but like the pepper here peppers yeah yeah but like
still fucking included the Marto bear because you're a motherfucker it's just
it's just like each of these pieces have given an entirely different dimension to
to this and like yeah just I'm hyped it that Ruben came on and a little alpha
for the motherfuckers tuning in animated cooked up a really dope piece that is
gonna be a you know we want to incorporate like there's a lot of a lot
of dope things that some of these other meme collections have done right but like
there's also things that at least personally I've been like damn like why
they go and do that like with six five to nine the supply is just bananas to me
like I get that there's a much bigger audience and stuff but there's
something when you can make a relatively low supply and make it accessible as fuck
right make it like relatively low cost for people that are actually in the
community and not looking to flip like I'm not mad at a flip don't get me
wrong but I'm just saying like when they when they're buying for the artist
because they love the artist because that's really the only way you're gonna
be introduced to these different rollouts either you're in the jungle bay
chat or like maybe one of the motherfucker chat or whatever but like
that's really whoever's aware of it so like when we can identify the artists
that we believe in and we believe are just getting started with their path I
view it as like these artists who are not getting paid like I mean what they
should be or what they normally do on a rollout right it's like this is all this
is off the love from the artist it's off the love from like jungle Bay like we
take zero from it I take nothing from it and but it's bigger than that it's
like because there is only that it's intended to be like a response and just
like a something to point to is like it doesn't always have to be about these
fucking extractions and I'm not look artists should be paid to like I'm not
I am all about fucking people being able to make a proper living if they're here
creating and putting their fucking soul into shit like don't get me wrong but
to find ways to make an accessible piece that resonates and that someone knows
that they were there for I think down the line will will prove to be something
that is that was worth participating in and so to that to that point like with
the next card that's gonna we're gonna drop next week from animated he he did
this off the love like he did this just just to do like we hadn't coordinated this
to be a card but because it was so such a dope Pete it captures such a dope kind
of message in my opinion about jungle Bay I was like yo we gotta include this
in the as like a proper card in the season so it gave me an idea and an
anime and I were talking about it and we were also lucky to have one of one
of these from be that's cooking in the background that will be be a part of
season two even though he already contributed an amazing car but in this
format of I was like yo animated like which artist which holders of of which
other artists in the collection should we drop your card to and he chose melted
and so the so cars six will only be dropped for free to the people that have
been holding melt its card card three of season one and hope hopefully be will be
excited about that type of dynamic and select the holders of a of an artist
card that that that he wants his piece in the season to be dropped to the rest
will be new artists who haven't yet contributed to the collection but I like
incorporating that like camaraderie and like artists fucking like being able to
make a statement with supporting other artists in that way you know what I mean
and so yeah I'm pretty hyped that that's like a small element of what we can
include here but you know back to Ruben's card for today I don't know I
think think it speaks for itself I don't need to sit here and you know wax poetic
about it I think this guy is just undeniably fucking authentic and has card
just like a tone and a and a palette days like so recognizably is and I think
it's great to be as all the artists have so far like put his fucking heart into
this piece because I mean dude this this collection has zero percent royalties
like it's not it's that is intentional because it it signifies that the artists
like jumping into it knew that this was like truly for the fucking community and
truly they'll kind of represent like that they understand what has been cooking
here and like want to be a part of it and it means a lot to me I know it
means a lot to the motherfuckers that that you know have been able to glean
that that's you know the underlying intention behind it all obviously there's
the other side of like well 0% like artists should be paid and they should
be but it's it's because like we're not getting paid I'm not like I just think
that there's a collective like when everyone is doing that with just like one
piece of their fucking offering right to the to the to the fucking higher cause like
I think that that can be really powerful especially when it really isn't sullied
by any sort of ulterior motives and so I don't want that to get misinterpreted
that I don't think artists should be of benefit to their hard work cuz that's
certainly not the case I just think in this one instance it's a it's a gift from
them to the small group of people that are able to collect so yeah but yeah I
mean I plan to do these spaces when we launch the cards and they don't have to
be long like this probably won't be long but it's just to kind of take a
moment to show our gratitude to the artists and to the people that have been
here for this ride because a lot of it has been a fucking it's been a pain in
the ass man and it's been it's been it's been kind of it's been not paying the
ass man very challenging especially like dealing with you know when shit just
started going down in the bear in general and there being like no real blueprint
for this type of project like there's still a lot of unknowns with how this
is gonna play out long term because there's no like real income coming in
like we have invested in stuff with the Treasury right like we bought this
Bitcoin puppet yesterday and filthy hooked us up with the new PFP which is
fucking dank and I was like to make a fucking change after two years to to
that felt like a very fucking fun way to to show that we're fucking around and
finding out and I don't know I love I think like the the Bitcoin puppets are I
think it's RFP or RPF but it's essentially the same thing as CC zero and
the artist is very clearly like really just about the heart and and like almost
laughing about how bananas this whole shit has been and so it really
resonated with me and I thought like that that's so motherfucker ish it's
so you know aligned with kind of how I would love to have the Jungle Bay meme
which is really an extension of motherfuckers now be embraced you know I
mean and yeah I'm gonna be launching we're gonna be launching Jungle Bay
Beach which is ready I might just do it tonight but maybe tomorrow tomorrow night
Pacific time and we already got a bunch of art that's hanging there and then we
have Jungle Bay bung bungalows this is announced cyber but what happened
recently which is really dope as I didn't even know it's possible was
we were able to download the file from on cyber and with the help of shout out
I got Dev Alex he he was able to get the Jungle Bay bungalow and beach the whole
layout all the structures everything like copied into our footprint on Nifty
Island so like to see that transferability was just another indicator
that this is this is just the fucking beginning of how expansive like the
Jungle Bay Island meme could get and the fact that the intention of those places
is to allow the community to experience the art of our favorite artists not just
from this collection like we got a bunch of different art from a lot from you
guys too that wasn't for this means by Jungle Bay and MFers artists right it
was just just you guys are part of this and this wouldn't be here without
it and so I'm like fuck like what a great way to showcase some of their
other art and all of that is hyperlinked so someone could go there
being experiencing fucking filthy's dank meme Street Pete's on a fucking
isolated mini island that we have it displayed on and buy it right there like
that is a is a whole new fucking landscape for collectors and for artists
to be able to present their work and connect with with people and we have a
portal that connects Jungle Bay Beach with Jungle Bay bungalows so there's
like a really dope connectivity between the two and one is like sunset and one
is nighttime the bungalows are at nighttime and that the beach is at
sunset it's still obviously like very clearly the nascent stages of that sort
of shit but like I don't know if you guys saw but today the AR goggles or
whatever with Apple they started taking pre-orders and people started testing it
and giving like you know the tech critics or whatever and from what I saw like
there was a unanimous like surprised feedback from some of the people that I
heard speak on it that tested it out that like it surpassed their expectations
from an experiential standpoint and so my mind goes to like fuck if if it's not
VR if it's AR so you don't feel like this so like so isolated and you can be
eventually they can sink something like this where we could unveil an artist
piece on the island or on the beach and have people experience it for the
first time there that could be very fun and also like host the spaces in that
way like I don't know man like who knows what's gonna happen who knows it could
be a whole fucking waste of time but we are trying it cuz it's like without
doing these fucking decisive but like well thought-out moves it's just gonna
fucking wither man like thought it's crazy how many blue chip projects blue
chip right like motherfuckers don't even see them anymore like we were talking to
demon hours last night about nifty was talking about 10 ktf which I never
really like understood or it just didn't resonate with me as much but like I get
why people like it and there's Nike and this and that it's like he said that
some of these things were some of the things that were a 1.4 1.5 e floor are
0.01 right now and we see that across the board like like so many of these
projects that like were the safe bet right and so desirable it was just a
fucking blip in time in hindsight but it felt like it was really like solidified
in the in the culture at that at one point like think about like a cool cats
or world of women right it's like none of those motherfuckers could weather the
storm because there was an artificial component I'm not I'm not here to fuck
any bags I'm just saying like a lot of these were put front and center is like
you know the the ones like the safe bets the ones that were gonna be you
know future franchises what do it or do those was gonna be the next Disney like
there was so much wild shit being tossed around the people were gobbling up
and or you know and so I see that it's similar to how I personally resonate
with motherfuckers and you know even with these the frog roll out with
Nakamigos because it came from Satoshi or at least a piece of it didn't and like
the people behind it seemed to know that I just I I think that there is a lot to
be said about tweaking your time horizon to to be more conducive for
letting motherfuckers cook and letting shit organically happen like there's so
many things that we have encountered such as like this nifty island expansion the
on-site all these things were not available when you know Jungle Bay was
first released and all and a lot of people are buying it and whatever because
they were buying everything and everything was fucking cake in and it
was just it was insanity a lot of these things weren't available then and
like we bought the biggest investment the fucking treasury made was a plot in
the sandbox next to Snoop and we developed this whole site which is
there but nobody uses the sandbox anymore bro the fucking sandbox token was
like five bucks or fucking three bucks at one point like what the fuck dude gone
just fucking evaporated meanwhile like on cyber was just bubbling up right and
and so it's like I some of it is like no one is coming to save you right of
course and you have to fucking show up and try shit but there is a bit of like
you also have to ride the waves of it and and not force stuff because you need
it now and and act out of like an energy of desperation and just sometimes allow
for the fucking means to take control and for the dust to settle cuz I see a
lot of like it's not even only desperation I think it's just people want
unrealistic results from like somewhat vaporous roots and yeah I don't know
man I think I think that's all I need to say on that one but um I don't know if
animated if there's anything else you have to say I don't want to just sit
here and rant but I just it is a nice rant thanks dude I think it's safe to say
that without you all these artists wouldn't have been here and without all
your efforts for a jungle bay and we always need feel the vibe and let's
fucking go you know so yeah all for it let's do it and I was just looking again
through the whole collection and it's it's indeed amazing what has been
created and very proud to to have done that first one and regarding that first
one that's like you know the defend arriving at the island escaping all the
authorities and going to do their thing I'm actually working on a follow-up on
that one your first motherfuckers let's go holy shit maybe maybe we should
because you know it's kind of standing out with the 210 edition between all the
rest we should just make it a burn Wow and only get it by burning the first
one so that's like the pieces isn't done yet by far so there's a very very
early alpha on that one because I think it that would be nice to bring that
number down and have an extra companion piece on that one that would be dope
man that is fucking first off I mean I didn't expect there to be like straight
up alpha in this in this sesh here but that's insane if obviously no pressure
but to be able to bring because because you know when we when we first launched
that right like we were going off of a lot of like it was like pretty much in
that open meta open edition thing like the people were doing five thousand
ten dollars or like there was it was there's no frame of reference for this
as we were saying like this uncharted water so it's like we I think we did a
open edition for that if I remember correctly and yeah in a large large air
drop right right and so and it right in a large air drop and so like we didn't
have any frame of reference in that was still well below like what what some of
the other collections were doing but now that we kind of see that it really is
like just the Jungle Bay motherfuckers and you know the other motherfuckers that
are in the in the mix of our GCs or whatever it's like that would be such a
dope way to kind of bring an extra level of like I don't know just like an extra
level of making the first piece of the collection it's just special so that
would that would be crazy man you know hopefully this is it's gonna give us
time holy shit well time is time is one thing that I you know for the for the
for the artists that we that I've been able lucky enough to collaborate with
for this collection like I always make it very clear that like the most
important thing to me is that they don't feel rushed and I try to reach out
like well in advance like I was reaching out about season two during season one and
and I'm I don't I don't try to lock in like oh you have to be card seven you
have to be card nine like the only the only thing I care about is that like
people connect with like once they have a concept that they just feel like they
have ample time and people since there's this isn't anything that's
keeping their fucking you know kids fed or the lights on whatever the situation
may be this is really just off to love like that's why it's so important for me
to just create that dynamic and when I've worked in the past with artists I do
some stuff in the music world and so I've like you just you just don't get
the same outcome it is a fine line like you it's like you want to you want to
keep people because like a lot of these artists have a hundred things going on
they're also have a hundred fucking amazing ideas that they want to pursue on
their own they have like just just they have their own projects they have
their own drops they see something like there's so much that consumes an
artist and I think it's it's an art to be able to help like help just just kind
of preserve like a pocket for whenever the the muse hits and and and whatever
there is time and but also like keeping it on the radar but not doing so in a
way where an artist feels like there's a an expectation being cast on them I
think like once there's that entitlement vibe I think it doesn't resonate with
with artists in particular because they're so tuned into their creative
process and and it doesn't it's not one-size-fits-all and I think it's tough
for a lot of people that aren't artists to grasp that that just is a
reality and when you can kind of transcend that you can really have some
dope shit come that even it's so fun when I talk to the different artists and
and they are surprised by what came of it you know I mean like initially I'll
reach out and DM's I'll send the overview in the fucking this and that
and it's like all right like we'll add to the fucking thing right you know but by
the end it's like almost every almost every motherfucker that I've done this
with has been like damn this shit came out kind of crazy it's like that is
the most fun thing to realize with somebody and to see them just like
surprise themselves and so Jungle Bay has done that for me as far as like what
this has turned into because it wasn't much to work with for a long time there
bro and in fact there's a lot of baggage and a lot of fucking but her
motherfuckers and I didn't I had to fucking make some tough decisions for how
to get certain people that were had ulterior motives saw a treasury with a
bunch of eating it out of the picture and so yeah there was I remember a time
when there were posts popping up with like Jungle Bay and referencing you as a
rugger it was fucked up yeah there were people that were saying that I was you
know I was like dude here my wallets like I've literally never taken a fucking
and not only that I've invested in it so it's like it's when somebody can just go
and say that it it it hurts and it also like it makes you fucking furious cuz
you're like damn here I am fucking trying to do something different and
and people are out here like really making their own stories up at the at
the expense of like that like I understand if you're making something up
about somebody who like takes a piece of the project in any way but when I
yeah the blockchain sorry what's that sometimes one and one is the equals too
very fast to yes because the answer is actually three exactly but when the
blockchain doesn't lie and and and there's there's no literally no record of
anything that they're saying and I'm like really like there's a couple people
that have been mad cuz they bought you know Jungle Bay when it was peak bull
and then they start to get mad cuz the floor goes I don't know what to do
about that bro like I'm just a holder like this came from a rug project I got
rugged and I was like I'm not gonna get rugged again we're gonna take this
fucking shit and we're gonna turn it into something with alongside some other
fuckers that had a shared that sentiment because it was so egregious and
and so like the fact that came from that it just kind of hits different when
somebody tries to say otherwise and so anyways I'm not I'm not trying to fucking
play it victim here but I am trying to be like chill the fuck out and there are a
lot a lot of people that are worthy of criticism when it comes to taking but I
have yet to profit from anything that I've like been a played a role in as far as
create as on the creator side like I've been a collector and flipped but as far
as like with Jungle Bay or anything that we've done it's all been a labor of love
like even our song that me that we did animated like there were still like
expenses with like it was like a net fucking zero that was like a no it was
a low cost and then we split it up with with me you and and wave club and like it
was all just for the fucking vibes man it was really just to keep it pushing so I
just like I resent how quick people are to just like drag other people's names
man like you should have receipts so anyways I don't and I didn't mean to
sway this negative but I it is it is important to just remind motherfuckers
who they're they're they're probably just angry with their situation and I do have
compassion for that too because I think we've all been in a situation where
we're holding the bag and we feel like it should be otherwise so but anyways I'm
gonna I'm gonna fucking wind this down I I did want to just I don't know if
he's gonna listen I decided to keep this one recorded because I think a lot
of stuff that was said in the last one like would have been dope for people in
different time zones and stuff to be able to just hear so I just want Reuben
to know jungle Bay motherfuckers are grateful that he's now a piece of our
story and and I am really fucking grateful to all of you artists and
motherfuckers who who have been here and just fucking just so just supporting
through just fucking being here and that's that's the extent of my
expectations I don't give a fuck about the floor I am NOT thinking even
within the next year like I'm thinking how if we start putting things in place
how will we position ourselves two years down the line and so everything else is
just noise and just ways that we can proliferate these memes and then we could
highlight these incredible artists that like definitely like the the last thing
I'll just say is like I've noticed when an artist cooks up some fucking dope
piece right and rolls it out if the meta isn't aligned due to people aren't
in collector mode if they're in fucking you know shit coin mode or whatever the
fuck like there are so many times where the dankest drop like look at fine art
motherfuckers the fact that hasn't minted out yet is a goddamn crime dude
someone should be fucking taken out back for that fucking reality but it just
wasn't the meta at the time so it's like you only you only come to like
meet fine art motherfuckers via being in the shits and and and so it's gonna be a
slow cook but one step fucking critical mass gets hit man once more people are
in the space and things change with the macro it's a different fucking
conversation but it's so it's really like timing is it is it is a piece of
the art and then a piece of the way that artists you know it almost kind of
despite all the having the dopest piece the dopest concept whatever it is if the
timing isn't aligned with you it's almost like I think it's almost like help the
artists continue to be sharpened and not swayed by that and just know that what
they created was dank as fuck and that as long as they keep you know showing up
and and and honing their craft like it's really just a matter of time so it's
like dancing with that fucking element as well but anyways man I just want to
