Okay, Kelly, I said the invite to speak tonight is good to be interactive like night
Well, I'll be a host by a DJ for tonight's guys, let's keep on the tweeting while others
Good evening nice to have in our space night
Then we get started for tonight
Open my section. Well, I love to hear they know the beauty by the on the blockchain space these
Projecting guys are working on or working with or if there's any ability guys enough to share, you know, listen to ads you don't want it
I hope my music is not allowed guys
Alright guys that give you let's give us a moment as well as my origin us fight for to start in his face
Alright guys, so we'll be starting off you guys meet with yourself. Tell us what are your skills. Tell us a little bit about a background
down from there
Got a lot of exciting things discussed about tonight
Shall be in your cell opinion lies, you know
In terms of teacher tonight
Guys I've sent you a request to speak earlier safe so we can get started. Okay
One moment needs to get started
Hello guys. Good evening
Excited to be on the space
Imagine quality to see
Hi, you're impossible
Good. Yeah, you're familiar. Yeah
Yeah, good evening, boo. Okay. Let's give a few more minutes. We'll be getting started very soon. Just okay, okay
It's 40 guys. So guys welcome to tonight's open minds open my section. So tonight's game to be interactive
And also he's gonna play the key to if and also he's going to be fun
Also, don't give away
So, okay, let's get started. All right. So this is the fourth
sectional it finally if you read yourself tell us which state you are from
whether I graduate students which project you are working on what are your skills and also
What are you intend to build in future or what is fair to be in future? So let's start from big boss
So big boss. Yeah, you have the mic book
So tell us where are you from? What are your skills?
And also what is I working on or working with and as also plans for the future we're here and also
In the crypto space. So yeah big boss. It's the micro
Good evening guys
Yo, big boss, good evening
How you guys you can hear me bud and clay
Yeah, we can hear a lot
Cano state
I'm a student as you all know
I'm a student and I'm currently working for an NFT project called
Syllabus, I know for a few here know about it. So and for career opportunities, I'm
Looking forward to be a project manager like
Managing community
Using of project like starting of the project from the ground stuff like that
And also in the future. I'm also looking forward to becoming a developer because I like using things like
Building apps that are kind of
African users to use and
During the blockchain in general, this is
Future but currently
Enjoying my my job as a community manager
I find fun doing not really what I really want, but it's just kind of fun
My aim like I said before
If you develop like to build things that I feel you know, I'll just sit down and watch those stuff
I'll say yes. I'm the one that you this thing
Yes, these are just like the plan
future and
For anybody coming into crypto. I just have two ways
Crypto is not like
a get-rich-quick scheme
It's something that you need to sit down
Invest your time
Get gets to know that is not something that I just get into the and get money tomorrow
I know it
We are not really voting to where we are hoping to be
But at least we are we are told and we are
Some state in life
So if you are that person that you think that if you just come into crypto tomorrow, you you
Secure the bag. I know that no, it does not work like that
You have to have people and have it at the back of your mind
You either you like it or not you
Makes you better
I don't know if you guys get what i'm trying to say
So this is something I want to tell people that are coming into this space
Thank you very much
All right. Thank you very very much big boss
Well, uh, we wish you the best with your career in web3 and also
in building
An application or a solution that could serve real life challenges in africa
If there's any ways to get up there you can support it to build up and see that country reality. We would
Wish all the best here in green kilo needs and be on her top agent
Good to see you big boss. All right
So running boss
Learning venture. So tell us
What's your name? What's your background?
What are your skills?
What are you working on? Always put it. Are you working on on us? What are your plans for the future?
Hello, good evening everyone. Yeah, good evening
My name is
Thank you very much.
Although I was unable to hear you clearly, you know what I mean, your network was lagging
a little bit.
Well I wish all the best. Actually she is currently looking for a community manager.
I would suggest to apply to be a community manager for the list.
And also if there is any DApp or Cosmos or Secret that you would love to be part of,
all you have to do is to write a tweet about the app, tell them your interest and what you want to do for the DApp and how you contribute to the DApp.
They are not sweet eat and they will engage in hopefully might get a job, might start a career as a community manager within Secret ecosystem.
So yeah, so the mic goes to Mirchuku. Mirchuku you have the mic.
Hello guys. Good to know. It's a privilege to be here. Thank you for the book.
Okay, so my name is Mirchuku. I am coming to MC.
First of all, you can hear me, right?
Yeah, I can hear you loud and clear.
So, I am currently a student at the University of London, Japan, so far.
I am studying civil engineering.
For now, last year changed my perspective to old blockchain and brought me out of the old cryptocurrencies and that.
So it was then I got to explore Secret.
Secret was one of the first ecosystem that Kotmer had.
It's Kotmer had. And you did.
Well, it's limitless what you can do in Secret for applications that help the financial systems in Africa.
The applications that we do, either to manage more information in the future or even in the future, right?
So in old Secret is Kotmer in the future, right?
In the future, you can do that in the future as well.
Now, I am currently a business developer.
I run multiple startups. Since running multiple startups, I am meeting with Black.
I would like to hear what he has to say, what he has to explain.
So, from there, I integrated all my business with all my business.
I had like many problems.
But I integrated all my business with all my business.
And by the end of this one, one of my businesses was launching an NFC white people.
So speaking, we hope to launch the more cheek-chilling NFC platform.
So that means we have both IoTeX and Secret.
Some of them have blockchains.
All of these blockchains are refined, machine-filed, and some of them are refined.
As a developer, as a business, we have so much potential in the blockchain space.
And I've seen so much potential, right?
So what I would say is that if you begin with a little bit low, we can't hear you clearly.
Okay, okay. How is it now?
It's still a little bit low.
Okay, how is it now?
Okay, it's kind of better now.
Hey guys, if you can hear me, I'm just signifying an emoji.
Yeah, I'm not signifying an emoji, guys.
All right, bro, go on.
Okay, so now, I'll see that that's the goal of this application for all the different ways you can do it.
The first thing you have to do is to indicate, get yourself in the key area of the blockchain.
Second thing you have to do is to participate in what's the community's dream.
I learned from the
community, and even then, it's not just in the AI.
I don't think you have to change something, right?
But now, following a guidance audience, a big audience, where there is a note of which is in the space,
you get to do the last thing, which is connect, right?
As you connect with all these different ways you get to know, increase the expanse of your life,
because it's just achieved that by getting connected to this thing.
Automatically, your extent of experience and knowledge has been divided, has been increased.
So there's so much, there's so much to be done on secret, especially for folks on the African side.
Creating applications like committees, there's so much things that could end us, just like the South Africa, sorry, the Kenya and partnership, right?
Don't force some groups in Africa.
Africa will be easy.
Africa will connect and enjoy the experiences as well.
You will make money for each one of those groups, depending on their responsiveness and responsiveness,
especially for our black guys on the African side, on the African side.
People will make money when they take less money out of their first class.
It's not their experience, right?
All right, thank you very, very much.
Just so I couldn't hear some of the things we're saying, seems your mic was kind of sounding like a robot mic.
Okay, the mic goes to Christa Boy.
Christa Boy should tell us, tell us a little bit about your background, what are your skills,
and also tell us what projects are you working on or working with now.
And also, what are your plans for the future?
Hey, Christa Boy, can you hear me?
If you can hear me, please kindly respond.
Okay, it seems Christa Boy is having issues with Internet escalation.
Okay, so before we move to the next section, let's take two minutes break, then I move on to the next section.
Hey, Christa Boy, we are taking a two minute break.
All right, guys, so welcome back to the space.
So yeah, Christa Boy, can you introduce yourself, tell us a little bit about your background, what are your skills?
Okay, guys, let's go.
Good evening, everyone. I'm Christa Boy, and I feel I should just review my real name on this space.
Well, I'm by name Mahmoud Abdul Majid, then the Christa Boy is just a thing I use and I love personally.
Then, as for my experience, let me see at the start, can you hear me, guys?
Yeah, we can hear you, Kasha.
So as for the stats, before I plugged into the blockchain space, I never really had interest in the blockchain space.
I was this person who loves to get everything easily.
I love not working too much, I love getting things easily.
But with the guidance and let me see the introduction of both folks talking to me about the blockchain space,
I picked interest and I started pulling up and so on my visit to the UNN conference,
that's one of the biggest conferences held in Africa, as for now, I was there.
I was there with secret network, I sat at the booth, I was listening to everything and so on.
And then I pick up the interest and I started and it does not be easy, though, but I've been pushing,
I've been pushing, I've been trying my best, trying to learn, learning from people, learning from others.
And so I'm plugging into different African communities of projects, getting to know what they are doing there.
And so with that, I've been trying to get more knowledge about the space.
And though it's not easy, the blockchain space is not easy for you,
because I would advise anyone who's just about getting money, quick money, not to even plug into the blockchain space,
because you really have to learn about the space before you can even think of anything there.
Except for this type, maybe you have a friend and two that is just into the blockchain
and he only does buying and selling when it is high, increasing and when it is low itself, so that's it.
And for now, I'm not really working with any projects.
I'm just with my little initiatives and my own digital education about the space.
I created a community in my own institution, which is Federal University of Brussels and Far East States.
I created a community for the school and with that, I'm the lead and founder of Blockchain FEG.
And we've been trying, we've been engaging, we've been talking about beautiful things about the space.
And people are starting to pick up from the sessions and posts that we do on a daily basis.
Though it's not easy, it's not easy getting people to engage.
In fact, recently there was a time I chatted both spoke, I was like, why would someone come into the community and wouldn't even engage or interact?
It was so frustrating and so, and with these motivations and so I've been doing it and I give God the thanks for everything.
It has not been really easy to do, but we've been pushing.
And as for now, Blockchain FEG is looking forward to host some workshops, meet-ups and soon enough,
because we've been getting connects from some few new projects who are willing to sponsor an event in the university.
And we've been working on that, we've been trying to get that together and trying to make it happen.
So it's really been a nice time on the space and we are still pushing and we hope for more.
So thank you for having me here and that's literally I think I can see for now.
All right, thank you very, very much, Christa Boyd.
Well, the civil community, we wish you the best with your community.
And if there's anything we can do to support a community that's further diversity, so please can let us know.
Okay, guys, so Ali just went offline.
Well, so let's move to the next section.
So this next section is going to be much more interactive.
I believe most of us will be in the space for about two years, one year, six months, eight months, three years, four years.
So I believe while we are there, we'll be facing some challenges and also be having difficulties, you know,
probably maybe starting up your career or getting to use it in the space or finding the niche or finding the parts working.
So let's start with image.
Because image will tell us what are the challenges you will face in the space since you started.
Okay, good evening.
Most of the challenges will be because I got into the more about the proxy, got into them, right?
So as the developer doesn't, there's not enough resources out there to make this table path for blocking the
dominant programming languages, and we have some non-dominant programming languages, right?
Well, I'm going to give an example.
The secret of this work, which is for the female group, for assembly, for the web assembly, for the upload to, while most of the data is just in another year are used for
all types of programming languages.
In order to render more programming languages, you get into that process, from that view, more programming languages should be available,
which seems like new in this aspect of action.
But with the help of secret university, we are taking one step at each point and figuring out how all these technologies work and how it's built.
Then, also, commenting on this, for the tech community, so we have lots of technical, non-technical techniques to help you out.
And you now have to have commenting on this, so having the community not only grow, but also help them passionately in the space of what is happening.
Because you have a big partnership sign, you have so many goodies, only a few sign of big opportunities, right?
So that's why I've been working on trying to inspire the students to get people to connect with each other and the community.
So, now that's a big secret.
We only want to go back to 2015, and only 50% or 75% in 2015.
So I think that's a big secret.
We are not a one.
But in terms of the two core challenges and two core challenges, the more communities are built, the more resources have made a benefit there.
It makes it easier for more technologists to get a new point change and makes it easier for people to dive back and create a new sustainable community.
All right, thank you very much, Mirchiko.
If I add it correctly, you have two main challenges within the blockchain space.
One is, you know, developer resources for each of you to build, guide, and so on and so forth.
And the other is community, engaging your community to make everyone active and also give value back to the community and also bring value to the community.
Well, I would suggest, regarding this, okay, I learned to make a trade on how to address these issues.
But before that, I would suggest to put out a trade, or probably a trade, about the challenges that we're facing and see if anyone would probably have any suggestions or probably design a business solution to help you solve this problem you're facing.
So, Rashad, we're going to another question.
So, what did you say?
Thank you very much, Rashad.
Rashad, I'll still give you guys a guide on the space before they know the space.
Okay, let's take just a minute, then we move to the boss.
All right, guys, so welcome back.
So, what you made you guys tell us some of the challenges facing in this space.
And these challenges, I believe, all our people have been facing these challenges.
Probably, you know, making a Twitter about the challenges you are facing in this space.
Probably, you need to solve these challenges.
There might be feedback from other community members, who knows.
And also, you might receive some ideas from our families.
It can come together as a group to solve these challenges being faced by the workers today in this space.
Also, for the community engagement, that's also one of the big issues within this space.
And I think there are a lot of factors to be considered.
We're about to solve these challenges regarding engaging in community.
So, okay, before we dive into that, let's move on to the big boss.
So, big boss, what are the challenges you face?
What are the issues you're having?
Can you guys hear me?
Can you guys hear me, big boss?
There are a lot of challenges in this space that, if I want to start making the creation of them, they are very, very long.
Something that you can't know just finished this.
When we ask the community manager that have been for months, or let me say for years now, is that some projects, they don't really value community managers.
Like, what am I trying to say?
They feel that community managers are not really important.
Why community managers are the life of a project?
In the sense that some founders don't really have the time to give to their project that much.
It is the community managers that are bringing up ideas, keeping the community lively, doing stuff for the community to make the community grow.
Or you see some founders, they'll be like, what are community managers really doing to me?
They are not really doing stuff like that.
So, this is a big challenge that we are facing in this space as a community manager.
And we Africans, ourselves, we are not helping matters.
Like, seriously, we are not helping matters.
You see somebody doing a job that five people would do for just a little bit.
Let's say, for instance, you are doing a job that they'll be giving you at least $10, $20 monthly.
That five people you do, you don't care.
You go to community, disturbing people, damning people unnecessarily.
These white guys are not trying to be biased here or trying to say things.
Some of us here are doing it.
I don't want to mention names.
We just go to community, do things that are not really necessary.
We are selling ourselves to these guys.
So, these are challenges that we are facing in this space.
So, what I'm trying to say is that we should set our standards as Africans.
We should not be going into communities behaving like beggars.
We should set our standards in the sense that if this is what we want, we should keep it at that.
This is what we want.
If we are working for communities that we are not really getting incentive from,
we just need to step back, set your standards.
So, these are some of the challenges I face as a community manager.
I know most of us here are facing same challenges.
So, we just take away here, set your standards, make sure that you know what you are doing,
and don't let anybody step on you.
Thank you very much.
Alright, thank you very much, big boss, for that advice.
I know that challenges, the challenges you spoke about, one of the challenges we faced with the community.
Community managers play an important role when it comes to the community in this space.
Because without the community manager, there is no way we can function.
There are no activities we could go on in this group.
Well, there are people who are the community manager, and that is why as a community manager,
you need to stand out as a community manager.
You need to prove that you are the art of this project.
You are the one that can make the project much more valuable.
Probably, you know, make them believe you.
Make them feel like, yeah, the project will survive.
As a community member, or probably, the project will survive without a role of a community manager.
Because without the community manager, I don't think there is a project.
What do you want to say or put us through?
What do you want to say or say is true?
So, a community is very important, so is the community manager.
Okay, before we dive into that, let's move on to running boss.
So, running boss, tell us what are the challenges you've been facing within this space?
Running boss, can you hear me?
Yes, I can hear you.
Please, tell me, what are the challenges you've been facing since you joined the crypto space?
Because I believe you've been facing several challenges,
and what are the major challenges you've been facing so far?
Okay, first of all, the major challenge I've faced is the good of crypto trading.
I've been trying to learn all the skills,
all the rules, all the formulas for trading without losing worth.
It means you've lost someone most of the time.
So, that one is just my first one.
The second one is finding how to make a new bot,
which means you have to, like you all say, like this community manager or working on a crypto project,
it's half the experience you've got today.
So, that's what I'm trying to learn this year.
Half more experience in the future and more interest in my best scholarship.
But I won't do anything secret to my friend last week, but I won't say I will be active,
but I will do to investigate and I won't speak for you, just make some money.
So I will do my full effort into it.
That was the problem I faced in this week, which is good.
Before I dive into that, I have some things I kind of just done for tonight's week, which
I would like to talk about because I will ready this week in the next 15 minutes.
Hopefully we can see continue this week next week with more people to join us and also
to discuss why there are also not only discuss about the challenges.
We need to start figuring out ways to solve some of the challenges because I need us to
make an impact in the world, not just in Africa, in the world because I truly believe in everyone
who was here. I believe in American school, I believe in big boss, I believe in you running
boss, I believe in facts, mine, I believe in digital or ex-digital as well.
Because I believe one way or the other, you guys can contribute to the good and impact
of web3 in not just Africa, around the world, because whatever it is you are doing, everyone
within the blockchain space is watching you, whatever problem you are solving, whatever
solution you guys are providing, someone else is better if it's from the solution.
Someone else's life is changing, is becoming much more better because of the solution you
guys are providing or because of an idea you guys are creating for the space.
So I'm trying to tell people this, don't underestimate yourself. This space is a big
space. No matter what you are doing, no matter the value you are providing, no matter how
little this value is that you are providing, believe me, lots of people are being inspired,
lots of people are benefiting greatly from those value you are giving out to people.
Just that you might not know it, but a lot of people are really benefiting from it.
Probably just one day they'll sit down, put up a tweet like, okay guys, what are we really
getting from this space so fast as a journey space or probably what are the value I will
gain from my tweet and do a problem, what are the value you think you can gain from me?
So this kind of way, you ask for feedback from the community. To be honest, I believe
everyone here has the potential to become great in this space. So I'll just be explaining
some key factors you need to consider when you need to set a clay, to set a clay carrier
path, not just in this space, not just in this space in real life as well. So because
a lot of people are having issues building themselves, setting a clay path for their
carrier. So that's why I started the challenges and what are your skills before we get started
on this space. So most people, first of all, they don't even know their skills, they don't
even know what they are good at. Like I've met several people who meet me and tell me,
Pope, I want to start a career opportunity in rep3, I want to start any morning, I want
to work with the project. But if I ask them what are your skills, most people don't know
what their skills are. I've asked several people what are your skills, most people don't
know what their skills are. They don't know what their skills are. You see, as a person,
they're forced to identify your skills. Before you even start your career, you need to identify
your skills. You need to identify your strengths. You need to identify your interests.
Okay, let's imagine now, as a person now, you know, okay, if this is what I'm good at,
probably, you know, okay, if I should start this thing, I will definitely succeed in it.
Then why don't you start it? Or probably, if you know you're this kind of person, you
love to talk, you love to interact with people, you love to make new friends, they probably
start thinking about what are their skills. Go online, okay, I love to talk to people,
I love to make new friends. What are the traits I possess or what are the skills I have?
You know, that's why I have Google for Google to provide information for you guys.
You need to identify your strengths, you need to identify your skills, you need to identify
your interests. Like for me, I generally make an example of myself to people.
How do I, before I start my career in Web3, I first find and identify my strengths and
identify my skills and identify the interests I have.
You know, initially, one of the strengths I have is building a community.
One of the strengths I have is, you know, getting people's attention.
One of the strengths I have is, you know, being able to speak and make people listen to me.
When I figured out, okay, these are my strengths, I figured out what are my skills.
When my skills was, you know, designing creativity, contributing to something, communicating, and so on and so forth,
then I realized, okay, these skills are what can I use these skills to do?
Then what are my interests? I'm always interested in doing something very unique.
I'm interested in community, providing value to people.
I'm interested in people who are ready to learn and grow with me.
So, you know, when I combine my strengths, my skills, and my interests together,
it gave me a purpose. It's making me figure out what I want to start or what I want to even try to do.
And I always tell people this, I got into secrets.
I got into secrets which in my set of, okay, let me just provide, let me just do, let me just, you know, showcase my talents,
let me just do what I can do, let me build my skills, and also let me use what I have to get what I want.
So, just like that, voluntarily, when I first joined the secret community, voluntarily, I did graphics.
The first graphics I ever did for secret network was a graphics to celebrate, then it was in module.
It was during some period in India.
So I did the graphics for secret network, then it was in drug community.
I did the graphics for them.
So when I did the graphics, the secret network was celebrating in module.
And thanks to, that's why I opted to there. I appreciate Emnalis, Emnalis.
He has been a great impact in my life and he has helped me get to where I am today.
You know, that's, to be honest, but at times, before I even do things, I really think of what people have done to me.
That's why, you know, I want to pay for it.
Because if Emnalis has not encouraged me then, if Emnalis has not, you know, show me support, be with me then,
you know, giving something to me, probably I might not have had the courage to probably go on and contribute to the community.
You know, I was surprised then I did the graphics for the community.
After I did the graphics, Emnalis saw it and he was impressed.
And all of a sudden, he sent me for a salary.
Then for a salary, it was over $8,000 in Nigeria currency then.
And to me, that money was, lots of money.
Because if you have a graphic designer, you will know that you're getting a job over $2,500 in Nigeria.
It's fairly obvious, it's a much more job.
It's very hard.
So the money was very much to me because that was the highest money I've ever gotten for doing a design there.
Because basically, it was supposed to be begging you for $1,150 to do a design for them.
Not now, but everything has changed because guys are supposed to do a free space.
So, you know, I knew how my skill was to do graphic design.
And I went to the community and I did design for them.
Not with the mindset of, okay, if I do this design, I'm going to pay me.
I did it because I love the community and I did it because, okay, I want to show these guys this is the skills I have.
Because a lot of people here, you guys have skills.
Or some don't even have skills.
Some are here to figure out what their skills are.
So once you figure out what your skills are, once you figure out your strengths, then it's time you put it into use.
Now, you don't have to focus on getting word from those skills.
You have to set the standards, yeah.
But before you set the standard, check your standard force.
Is it up to you?
Check your standard force.
That standard is up to the level that you can neglect or probably send to certain things.
Before you set the standard, you have to check your standard.
See where you are.
Imagine a person that can afford the house or the carbon.
The carbon supports himself toward you.
Probably a person that can't afford a standard life, a standard way of living.
That person trying to buy a car, buy a house.
Come on, guys.
See, don't think about that.
If you can't even afford a standard living, start thinking about getting a house and a car.
Probably focus on looking for a way to live a standard life force before you start living, looking for a way to know where the house is.
You have to really also probably buy cars.
Most people in this space don't want to.
They don't want to know their standard.
They don't want to know their standard and their skill of setting the standard.
You don't have a standard and you have to set the standard.
It doesn't make sense.
Because then I knew I had the skills and I have interest in the community.
Then I used my skills to help the community without expecting anything return.
But to be honest, I was really motivated when MNALIS was rewarding me for everything I was doing.
And then also, before you know, there was a contest going on in the community.
I was like, wow, this is an opportunity for me to show myself.
I did different video tutorials.
I did different graphics.
I was putting my skills into making sure I was noticed in that community.
And thanks so much to MNALIS.
It was one that kept encouraging me.
It was one that kept supporting me.
It has been so generous to not just me, to all the community members, with his guidance, with everything.
To be honest, if not because it was very welcoming, it was very nice.
It has been a kind man.
To be honest, I don't think I'll be able to continue that community.
But that is it.
But not all community or not all community managers are like MNALIS.
Not only that, like MNALIS.
Some are not like him.
Some are this kind of people that, okay, just come to the community, do what you want to do, and name those words.
So if that's for each of you, not focus on getting rewarded or probably focus on looking forward to incentivize your skills.
Or probably focus on building yourself, improving on yourself, and also focus on your skills and your interests.
Work towards improving yourself.
The more you do that, probably there might not be notice you, or probably there might not be notice you, and then those probably look your way.
Just keep doing it.
And if we can do it for multiple ecosystem, do it for this ecosystem.
We have a lot of startups, a lot of projects that, you know, all you have to do is to figure out what is the gap in this ecosystem.
What are the things that I feel like it can do to this ecosystem to help them go?
What are the things you feel like this ecosystem is lacking?
And if you have the skills, if you have the interests, and you have the skills to do it, just do it without taking off getting rewarded for it.
Like, when I saw the goal of committee manager from AltiList, if it was, you know, a year ago, I would have, you know,
instant applied for that position.
Even though I know there was no pay for that job.
Why would I apply?
Because I know it's something I'm interested in, and I know I have the skills to occupy that position.
I would definitely apply for that position.
And as soon as I apply, I would just add it to my resume, okay, I'm working for this project.
Even though I know I'm not getting paid for it, I would focus on the way I could provide value to that community.
I'm also giving back value.
As time goes on from there, I keep networking, get to know more people from other community before I start building my connection.
Finally, I will be able to lay a foundation in that ecosystem or in that community.
And to be honest, in this space, there's no funny thing about this space is that as soon as, you know, you've gained recognition from this space,
believe me, that recognition will end you lot in the future.
It might not really be your, it might not really be your day at that moment.
But believe me, in the nearest future, that foundation you've laid in that ecosystem will be of great value to you.
So, you know, and inspire your skills, your strengths, and your interests.
This is the first thing you need to think about, or this is the first step you need to think before you will start your career.
Not just in rep3, also in real life.
Now, after I figure out that, now you need to define your long-term goals.
Okay, now, okay, okay.
After I've found my interest, after I've, you know, discovered my strengths, after I've discovered the skills I have, okay, now I need to define my goals.
I need to define my, define what I want to do.
Okay, I'm just kind of facing, I know I could engage with people.
I know I could convince people to buy products.
I know I could, you know, interact with people.
I know I could do something.
I know I could go, or whatever skills, you know, you can, you have.
It's definitely to find out, okay, these skills are, in the next four or five years, will these skills be relevant?
Or will I, me myself, will I be relevant to these skills?
Or will I be relevant to this community?
Then you need to start thinking, okay, what can I do to improve on my skills?
What can I do to probably increase, does, bring more value to people and bring more value to myself?
Because as a person, you don't just improve on your skills.
You need to improve on yourself as well.
It means to bring much more value to yourself.
Because at the end of the day, if you keep focusing on building your skills,
you really are the best graphics around the world.
But you yourself, there's no, you know, you are not improving on yourself.
Probably, you are not learning the way you could know.
Mentally, emotionally, physically, interact, check out, check out opportunity.
You know, I said from that, look for ways at which, look for ways at which you could, you know,
find a path and make that path, make more people in that path.
Okay, before I move forward, there's sometimes a reality of people.
In this life, once you have a path, it's left for you to work in that path and make full opportunity of that path.
There's something with people, like it's common within the engineer.
There's not one engineer, but once the young guys, they don't really believe in going to homes for a fish by themselves.
Once the young guys, if they go to the river, instead of them turning their nets into the river and cutting fish for themselves,
they will let us tell the river park, waiting for you to go out and bring the fish and be giving it to them,
and then they will be picking this up and adding it for you.
And they are very good at, you know, picking fish and adding it for people,
whether they're going to the sea, cutting home, get their fish by themselves.
What do I mean by that?
A lot of people, you figure out, a lot of people, you create a path for them.
After I create that path for them, they will never move out of that path.
They will never move out of that position.
They will stay in that position, even though it's for the next five, ten years,
because they feel like, okay, I'm comfortable with that position I am, or probably, okay,
they've shown me a way down.
Probably this way, they've shown me, they have not shown me any other way.
Then I will stay that way.
Life doesn't work that way.
If you have a path, you need to figure out how to navigate yourself.
You need to figure out other opportunities in the ecosystem.
You need to figure out other opportunities in that path.
You need to figure out if there's another path that leads to a wider path,
or if there's another path that leads to treasures.
You don't just sit there, and then don't stay there.
Just stand up, know nothing to do,
or probably just keep doing the same thing over and over again.
Once you figure out there's a way in the ecosystem,
or probably there's something I can do to make myself better,
there's something I can do to make myself grow bigger,
or there's something I can do to bring value to people.
Think of several ways you could do to bring much more value.
See, look out for that ecosystem.
See, every day is for you to look out what the competitors are doing.
Look out for what the competitors are doing.
Check out for their strengths and weaknesses.
Analyze their strengths.
Look for ways you could make these strengths much more better.
Look for the weaknesses.
Look for the weaknesses they have.
Look for the ways you could turn their weaknesses to your own strengths as well.
People need to start thinking beyond the boss,
thinking of ways you could make yourself much more useful.
To be honest, I know it's not easy to be honest.
It's not something to start with and then make it tomorrow.
No, like Big Boss said this.
When you join a space, you don't just expect it,
you don't just expect to grow the next day.
No, it takes time, it takes procedure, it takes commitment.
So, you know, you need to make research on your career,
make research about things.
See, the thing is that a lot of people are very lazy to be honest,
but generally, Nigerian guys are very lazy.
One thing with Nigerian guys is that, like I said earlier,
they only go to the riverbank and stay there,
especially to bring fish for them.
They never think of diving into the ocean,
trying to see, okay, this part, there's fish in this part.
What if I move to the west?
What if I move to the north?
Will there be fish in the west or north?
But a lot of guys don't think about that.
Okay, let me just say, if the fish come, if it doesn't come,
I'll just say, yeah, the fish will come.
And to start looking for ways which you can differentiate
all these communities, look for ways at which you could be of value.
If they are not going to be consistent at it,
just keep doing it gradually, doing it gradually.
My brother, one day, one day,
definitely that will turn big to not probably yourself.
You figure out new things you could do to improve yourself.
There's one thing I appreciate so much about Ronin Boss.
Ronin Boss is this guy that is really ready to learn.
I've seen him in different communities,
contributing to that community.
It's hard to with people, you know,
making, building a friendly environment for himself
and also people around him.
And this is also a unique thing that you guys can do.
You know, make yourself know, make people know you.
So at the end of the day, if there's something you want to do,
definitely be able to support you.
Or probably if there's an end, if there's an opportunity,
people are able to reach out to you.
Okay, guys, there's an opportunity.
Attack on this opportunity.
But if there's a situation where nobody knows you,
you're not doing anything, at the end of the day,
if there's an opportunity, my brother, you'll miss it.
You'll miss it.
Last two weeks, there was an opportunity,
and I was not even going through the charts
because they know what I was doing and they know what I stand for.
Someone asked me to tell me, okay,
I think this is your field, you can play a big role in it.
That's what I was not even following up.
It's because I've set a value for myself
and also I've created an image for people about me.
You know, I've made myself known,
I've made what I'm doing known to people.
I've made them know, okay, this is what I'm good at.
This is what I'm good at.
This is what I can bring to your community.
This is what I'm doing.
Even though at the end of the day,
not everybody will acknowledge you or not,
everybody will be supportive,
but you just have to keep building on looking for ways.
You just have to keep building on looking for ways
at which you could improve on yourself.
See, there are lots of opportunities in this space,
millions of opportunities, and I keep seeing these every day.
But these opportunities doesn't come just like that.
No, these opportunities come with
hard work, dedication, commitment,
and as well prayer.
That's if you don't believe in prayer.
To be honest, see, there are a lot of things
you need to figure out.
Except for my strength,
figure out how you could do things
beyond just the normal thing people are doing.
Okay, let me give you guys an example.
I invited some of my guys to join the community.
All my guys were like,
this community won't work out, won't work out.
I was like, guys,
if you guys even think of ways you could make this thing work out.
People don't usually think of ways to make things work out.
They'll probably try it once and then they leave it.
My brother, there is a saying,
he proved up in Yagobah that on a call,
on a call, Roger, what does he mean?
That one way does not list the market.
I've never seen the market,
but it's only one way that lists this market.
No, several ways to list into the market.
When I see market, I mean in local markets,
you can follow several ways into the market.
So, whenever I do the community,
don't just think of one way you could just enter
and then do what's not on the one way.
Think of several ways you could build yourself in our community.
Think of several ways you could create an identity for yourself
in that community.
Yes, identity is very important.
I've created an identity for myself,
not just in sequence,
but for the entire customer ecosystem.
And I intend to create an identity,
not just for a customer ecosystem.
I intend to create an identity for several other ecosystems
beyond customers as well.
Since the blockchain is interoperable,
I need to be able to connect with other chains
around the whole space.
Because it's very important, to be honest,
collaboration works because they look for other things
they could come together to achieve.
So, I need to look for other things that could work together
with other ecosystems to achieve for myself,
to make myself better, to be the bigger focus of myself.
So, guys, you know, it's time, I think,
we need to step up our game.
We need to look for ways at which we could build on ourselves
and make ourselves much more useful to where I could step,
not just remain the position we are.
You need to start developing the plan,
you need to start looking for ways at which
you could go beyond that level, bro.
See, it's not easy.
Like, I do tell people, like, I've met a lot of people that
who tell me, I'm fine bro, I don't make money,
I don't offer food, I don't have to apply for a job,
any job there, I need this one day.
One day, okay, there are five days and updates, do this.
After two days, they'll be like,
guys, I can't do anything.
Guys, I'm tired, this thing won't work out.
I don't want, you know, work.
I don't understand.
Guys, see, well, if you do something once, it doesn't work.
That doesn't mean she doesn't give up.
If I had give up, because, okay, then when I,
then when we first joined the security agents program,
we were not paid for about three months then.
Then we usually get this award too.
The award, everybody is relying on.
Then we all relied on this award.
But from October to December, we were not paid a single dime.
We're not given any award.
But I wouldn't believe it.
When they stop, when they stop paying us,
that was when I was even putting more effort into doing the work,
because I knew then when they stop paying us,
that then a lot of people would stop working.
A lot of guys would stop doing the daily mission then.
So that was when I put in more work, because I knew,
then they were able to notice me.
Because that when they were seeing the award, that was 2021.
Yeah, that was 2021 when, you know,
they were seeing daily mission award then,
when I first joined the security agents program.
I noticed if I was doing it, people wouldn't really know me.
Then when I was still doing this,
then when they stop paying the award,
that was when if I was doing just maybe 50 tweets per day,
then when they stop paying the award, I increased it to 100 tweets per day.
They didn't know why.
I knew a lot of people would have probably stopped doing this because
there was only one coming out for me.
That was when I put in work.
I was doing this much more.
When I was doing this,
I was building a close relationship with both vendor and schooler.
Because I knew those are the two guys organizing
and maintaining and managing the program.
You see, once you get to the ecosystem,
figure out who are the top guys.
Figure out who are the guys killing easier.
Figure out who are the guys controlling the community.
Figure out the way you could build a relationship with them.
I'm not saying, I'm not just that you keep asking them,
spamming them.
Say, hello, good morning, good afternoon.
No, don't do that.
Do something that will give out to the community.
Reach out to them.
Okay, this is what I've done.
And this is what I feel.
This is the value to bring to this community.
Pay attention to them.
Receive feedback from them.
Because another engineer would ask, come to your DM.
Good morning.
How are you doing?
Good morning.
Good afternoon.
You know those things.
At the end of the day, you miss your chance.
Because they will have a good or probably a protest message
or something to discuss with them.
They won't respond to you because you're bringing an invalid to them.
They are not probably discussing something that's of value,
something that's probably a good network, or something that's important.
All you have to do, all you're doing is saying things that don't even matter.
It's good to be kind or probably good to be a good person.
But learn to do some things at the right time.
Learn to figure out what things to do to make things better.
Do the right thing at the right time.
We need to start cultivating the culture of thinking the way other people,
of thinking the way not other people think.
Thinking the way I would think.
Think of the way I think.
Think in a way I think we have to find out this project.
What will you do to make these projects better?
Don't think as if you're just a random person trying to find a job.
Think of it as if you're going to own this project.
Think of it as if you're going to control this project.
Think of it as if without you, this project would survive.
Then there is a key to it.
See, I could boldly say this.
I know my crypto came started in sky as an influencer.
It was just, you know, just now from 7-1 tweets to 2 tweets to 3 tweets.
Before I know, it was interacting with other people's tweets.
Before I know, it was, you know, which is not what I could stand.
Before I know, he has built himself.
This thing doesn't come on a simple place or it doesn't come on a free place.
No, you have to work for it.
To be honest, you have to work for all these things.
These things don't just come down.
We need to start thinking of where you could build yourself, improve on yourself.
And it's okay for some time to take break for some time.
It's okay, but once we take a break, we're taking a break.
Start thinking of results if we could come back much, much stronger, much more powerful.
To be honest, I will keep saying these things tomorrow.
There are a lot of opportunities in this space.
It's less for you to figure out how to utilize these opportunities.
It's less for you to figure out how to navigate it.
It doesn't come easy.
It's not something you can do with a 6-month and end-game results.
Not everybody is so lucky to gain results with a 6-month.
But not keep doing it.
Even though it's one year, two year, one day, those results will pay off.
And then the value we're creating at the end of the day, it's just be a limited dream.
The way it will keep coming back, you will be expected.
As crypto came today, everything he has been getting now, actually,
for how long has he been building this value?
For how long has he been building this community?
For how long has he been building upon all those portfolios now?
It was not overnight, actually.
73LV was also one of us.
We all started the security together.
73LV months, people ate.
Then in the community, then.
And thanks so much for the analysis.
It's very supportive and also has bureaus to this level, to be honest.
Because if he had not bureaus, if he had not supported us, he wouldn't have gotten to this level.
And that is why we are also putting this upon ourselves to also help and guide people.
In any way, we can encourage people and also be kind to people because he has also been kind to us.
And he's very generous.
He has been very generous to all of us.
A lot of us have benefited a lot from him, to be honest, financially, mentally, emotionally.
To be honest, he is a great value to this community.
With that, in South Africa, I won't be sitting here today.
So, guys, I want us to figure out a way out which we could work, improve on ourselves, make things very, very better.
I know I've taken so much of our time and I've exceeded it.
So, probably next week, we'll still discuss more on this space and look for ways out which we could step up.
I want each and every one of us to start learning and as well, building yourself.
In my thoughts, get to where you want to get to, but at least take a step towards that place.
Every day, I know where you want to get to now.
At least take a step.
Although, financially, we are not stable yet.
But mentally, you should be stable already.
You know how to stay financially.
You should be stable mentally, emotionally, physically.
Even though what you want to achieve, you have not achieved it yet.
But within you, you should feel like you've achieved it already.
By taking a step, just doing something.
See, it doesn't matter if the world is seeing what you are doing.
It doesn't matter if you are getting rewarded for what you are doing.
It doesn't matter if, probably, things are not going the way you expect it.
But if there's nothing to do, it's just to keep moving.
Because whether you like it or not, the world will keep moving.
The sun will definitely shine.
Whether you are sad, whether you are happy, whether you are living or you are dead, the sun will definitely shine.
So just keep moving.
Keep going forward.
And also, just keep planning.
See, it's not easy at all.
I would like to hear what I tell you is easy.
Like, I will do this, do that, and end up with this workout.
It's a big lie.
It's not easy.
You have to go through different procedures.
You have to go through a lot of temptation.
You have to go through a lot of breakdowns.
You have to go through a lot of obstacles.
But don't let all these things stop you.
Ask your professor if it was right to go to this stage.
Ask him, one day, just ask him, how did he go to this stage?
What has been the challenges he has faced?
What has been the thing he has worked on?
What are his strengths?
What are his weaknesses?
Ask him, what can you do to make yourself better than him?
See, there was a day I met with some of these motivational speakers.
I went to a summit.
The guy outside, the guy, I just don't know what he's talking.
Then I went to him and asked him, okay,
he's spoken a lot about self-motivation.
He's spoken a lot about being in the career.
He's spoken a lot about, you know, being a better person than yourself.
Okay, I have a question for you.
He was never expecting that question because, you know,
he was like, sorry, how can I become better than you?
Because I believe the goal of every person,
or probably the goal of our parents or people other than us
is to become better than them,
is for us to do much more great things than what they couldn't do,
what they couldn't do, achieve what they couldn't achieve.
There was that when I asked you, how can I be better than you,
it sounds like I asked you, how can I kill you?
Because if the generation coming after us cannot be better than us,
then at the end of the day, the entries are not working fine.
Then there is an error somewhere.
To be honest, now you start to go,
and this is not from a competitive path.
No, this has to be from a partnership,
you need to create value for yourself
and also for the future nation coming,
and also for people to benefit from.
And like I mentioned earlier,
everybody here has a potential,
everybody here has value they can provide to people,
everybody here has something they could do
to impart it to people like one way or the other.
Everybody here can be a source to a lot of solutions,
not just in Africa, to the whole world as well.
To be honest, one way or the other,
it's less for you to just figure it out,
it's less for you to just think of the way you could achieve it,
it's less for you to just think like,
do yourself together, plan and also execute it,
seek for opinion, like I do tell people,
we have Google, we have YouTube,
we have a lot of resources online.
Once, if there's something you don't understand,
before you ask someone, first of all,
go and make research on it,
if you've made that research,
if you've got your knowledge and you don't understand,
then you can meet this person,
okay, I know Web3 is a decentralized platform,
I know Web3, you own your data,
okay, boy, there's something I don't understand,
how do you own this data on Web3?
At least, the only way you've made a step to gain this knowledge,
not that you don't even know what is 1 plus 1,
you're asking me 92 times 90.
It's very wrong.
Before you ask 92 plus times 90,
you need to know 1 plus 1, at least you need to know
multiplication, addition, answer, question.
Most people don't know multiplication, addition, answer, question.
They ought to know probably algorithm or probably equation.
Before you take a step,
you need to figure out the step you're taking,
you need to figure out what are the total factors
you need to consider for taking a step.
It's very important to make research,
dive into different options.
Before you ask me a question,
you need to figure out, okay,
before I ask this person this question,
okay, do I have any knowledge about this team?
Or do I probably try to take out other sources to gain this knowledge?
It's very, very important, guys.
So, well, thanks to everyone that contributed to this space,
thanks to Melechiko, Big Boss, Ronin Boss,
and thanks to everyone that turned into tonight's space.
So, guys, I ask all of you, everyone of us,
you know, figure out how we can beat ourselves,
improve on ourselves, and also bring value to the community,
and not just the community, bring value back to yourself.
Hopefully, we are in this space subsequently
to talk more about this, and to put my section to interact,
communicate, love, just, and so on and so forth.
So, I guess, you know, I've taken so much of your time,
and I believe most of us will go on to one of our day and call it a day.
So, guys, thank you very much for tuning in.
Thanks, everyone that attended tonight's space.
Okay, so, I guess, Melechiko, Big Boss, Ronin Boss,
is there anything you guys want to say within one minute
before we enter tonight's space?
No, thank you very much.
That was good.
All right, Melechiko, thank you very much for coming to tonight's space.
All right, guys, so, that will be the end of tonight's space.
Thank you very much, guys, for coming.
And hopefully, please, guys, make sure you join us more in the same show.
It's good to call this academic area.
I believe it's going to be interactive and festive.
Also, guys, please make sure you participate in this if I get nice on Friday.
Thank you very much, guys.
Have a lovely evening. Good night, guys.
