Thank you. Heyo, welcome to Sundinimocracy.
There's looks like eight of us right now.
We'll continue growing the room, so we'll just kick it off and get started a little here.
Mic check. Always a good way to start. Can I get a thumbs up or a couple emojis just to confirm I'm talking to somebody?
Can I just get a thumbs up?
So I'm JD, obviously, and I'm dev of Soon.
So you'll be hearing from me from the JD account, but Soon is our host,
So good to see everybody.
We've got a lot to cover, a really packed agenda.
We're going to try to get through this in an hour.
I'm very considerate of time, my own time, your own time.
I think time is money, and time is important, and time is finite.
So we only have so much of it, and we've got to use it right.
So I will be considerate of your time always in these spaces.
We have other spaces where we kind of just chill, and those are positioned as such.
But this memocracy is important information.
It has to be shared, and I want to make sure it's done in a concise way.
So if you're here now, please retweet the room. That would be amazing. No pressure. If you love
what you hear, retweet. If you don't, that's okay. But I want you guys to love it, right? I want the
right people on this project, people that really love the project, and that's the way that we'll
be successful. So for those who have been around for a while, you've seen that we've been building for three months.
The chart shows like slow, steady growth.
People pull up and try to offer us quick pumps.
We're not interested in that.
We're really trying to build something big, something long term.
And, you know, we'll talk through what that looks like today.
A lot of you are familiar with the project. So I don't need to start from scratch. something big, something long-term. And, you know, we'll talk through what that looks like today.
A lot of you are familiar with the project, so I don't need to start from scratch,
but I'll briefly go through an overview of the project because I think there are some new faces here. So the first thing I want to do is walk through tokenomics. I did a post, by the way,
from the Soon account that has the agenda, so I'll throw that on the Jumbotron. That way you guys have good expectation of what we're going through today together and the order that we go through it.
The first thing we'll talk about is tokenomics.
So if anyone wants details in tokenomics, just request the mic and feel free to ask questions.
We have a post that's on our highlights on the soon
account that goes through like specifics of tokenomics. So there are wallet addresses
for our marketing wallet and stuff like that. Our liquidity pool is locked, right? There's
a link to that. Our liquidity pool is really thick. It's about the same as our market cap.
I think it's like 63K. That's locked permanently on Meteora. So very, very secure in terms of, you know, being able to buy and sell this token.
We don't ever have to worry about that.
This was originally a presale.
So the people that bought into the presale helped to fund an 8% marketing budget,
as well as a liquidity pool that will be with us forever.
And that sets us up for a really good foundation tokenomics-wise.
Some of those presale buyers sold right away at the beginning at the initial pump.
And that's their problem, right?
Because they left behind a lot of liquidity that's locked and a marketing budget that we get to use.
And I'm sorry that they left maybe the FOMO back.
That's their problem and their decision.
So I just want to give you guys a sense for what this project's about.
And I'm sorry for those who have heard it too many times.
I'll try to be as quick as I can. The question is when.
We're always asking and hearing people ask when.
When is this website update going to happen?
When is marketing going to kick in?
When will the dev show up in the Telegram?
When, when, when, when, right?
And the answer is always soon. And then we wait, and we wait, when, when, when, when, right? It's always when. And the answer is always soon.
And then we wait, and we wait, and we wait, and nothing happens.
In so many cases, we get disappointed and we don't get what we hoped for, right?
So that feeling of waiting is something we decided to bottle up into a meme coin.
But once we came up with the ticker and we felt great about the logo and all that, right?
And the narrative just worked.
The emotion was working on people.
We wanted to have more fun with it.
And so that's why we created this character, Benjamin.
And he's in the room right now, right?
So Benjamin is like Benjamin, but he has to win a lot.
He's tired of waiting just like us, right?
So Benjamin is fun now, right? He's having a good time.
And Benjamin decided to take matters into his own hands. So, he decided he was going to hire a team
of Alpha Scouts. And this is not just a cartoon joke, right? This is what we're really doing,
and we'll move into that next. But Benjamin's been recruiting this team and individuals on the Alpha Scout team are responsible
for owning a category of crypto. So for example, Deviled Megs and Aria are both Alpha Scouts.
They're in the audience now. Meg's responsible for DeFi. Aria is responsible for InfoFi,
which I also call SocialFi and she yells at me and corrects me and maybe she can talk about that a
little bit but they're going to own individual categories we're adding to the team so we have
more Alpha Scouts to recruit but once they own these categories for example SocialFi if ARIA
finds something really interesting a project that's been delivering time and time again
showing up for their community,
not promising soon and then just ghosting, right?
They actually deliver repeatedly.
She's going to watch that project close.
And when they drop some tech, a new release,
she's going to create a little TLDR,
And so the soon timeline will be full of these simple summaries of tech that just dropped releases.
And we'll only highlight tech that we, as a team of Alpha Scouts, have already vetted and feel good about.
We're not promising number go up.
We're not telling you when to get entries.
But we're giving you our assurance that this tech works, that it was released, that this dev shows up, and that they deliver.
tech works, that it was released, that this dev shows up, and that they deliver. So the soon
timeline will basically be a place to go to find projects that are delivered. And the way we can
ensure that we're giving you good stuff is by recruiting good Alpha Scouts for the team.
So we've got about 20 applications in so far. The Alpha Scout recruitment is underway, so I'll throw that in the Jumbotron.
Also, some of you have seen this. Some of you have applied already. To those who applied,
thanks for coming, joining the space, right? And you know who you are. Once you apply to be an
Alpha Scout, there's a screening exam. So it's a pretty straightforward test. Some of you are
taking now or have already completed. We basically have to summarize releases. Show us that you have what it takes.
Show us you can take complicated information in your area within crypto and then distill it into
simple terms that can help people understand what just happened, why does it matter, and how can I
use it? If you can be really good at communicating that in a tweet, then we want you in the Alpha
Scout team because that's going to help the Zoom brand deliver the stuff in a really easy-to-consume
way. So that's all underway. It's happening. It's going really, really well. I thank everybody who's
submitted an application. I thank you, Aria, and Meg, for being part of the evaluation process and Sam, you too, for like looking at some of these applications with me.
it helps to have your eyes on them and have us as a team looking at the
applicants. So appreciate you all for that.
The next thing I want to do is show you guys something pretty cool that
So on the Jumbotron, I'm going to post in the space comment.
Why is the space doing that thing where you try to post and it doesn't want you to post in the space?
Stop laughing at me, Lee.
Let's see. I'll just post it like this. Come on. Stop. Stop doing that.
Hmm. All right. I'm just going to do it like this. I got a plan.
Here it comes. Here it comes. comes here it comes wait for it wait for
it okay so I'm putting a video up and in a second the video that you'll see is
designs for our new Alpha Scout pages on the website.
And I welcome feedback on it, but just kind of wanted you guys to see this in progress
because I'm really excited about what we're going to end up having.
So now that you know, right, the Alpha Scouts are going to be doing their job,
finding the Alpha, we wanted that represented on the site too
and we want to give people opportunities like you know build their own reputations in the space
right so for example meg's running defy if aria is running info fi we're going to have people for
gaming i our gaming scout may or may not stick with the job he's got some stuff he's dealing with
but each of these individuals will have their own page. So if you look at the video that's in the
Jumbotron, there's going to be a page on our site that's InDesign now where you can meet the scouts.
They'll each have their bio, their face, their link to their socials. Meg might have a TikTok
and Aria might have a link tree or whatever. So it's flexible
enough to accommodate that. And if you do play that video, you'll just see what that's going to
look like and that you can click from one of their bios over to their individual page. So it's all
DeFi, right? And then within that, you've got this feed of Twitter posts within the DeFi area,
our most recent alpha from that category so this will all be like curated
on the site so pretty cool like we're putting this whole thing together right as a package
um and it's a lot right i'm gonna keep going through this agenda next up is the voice of
wenjamin uh but i'll pause because i've said a lot. Welcome to the stage, John Lee Raw Dog. If anybody else wants to come up and chat, just grab a mic.
Just you always support my spaces, so I figured I'd come by and say what's up.
Did I hear you guys are hiring for talent scouts?
Because that's something I prided myself in in college.
It's an alpha scout, and I know the kind of talent you can bring john so you
know yeah we don't mind we don't mind but no that's not exactly what this is sounds pretty
cool i mean you guys someone from uh the soon community like raided the fuck out of one of my
posts the other day so that um i definitely saw that and whatever you guys are doing keep it the fuck up
good shit thank you thank you we we uh we play into the kind of when soon waiting meta a lot
right like that that simple raid like i'm talking about a lot of fancy complicated utility right now
because we are delivering in that right but that's that's big but in the meantime there's just so much
fun to be out on the timeline where people are just tired of waiting and they just come in with the when and soon stuff.
So that alone is just memeable.
We're having fun with it.
So you'll see a lot of that out there.
Yeah, I mean, it really is a good narrative because people say,
like, when is one of the most used words in crypto.
So you just respond with cash tag soon and, like, you don't have to do anything else.
And that's how it started right
we could literally just be a meme coin and do that but that wasn't enough Benjamin's too tired
of waiting he's doing more than that so that's where we're at now Lee what's up man I see your
hand hey mate just coming in as support obviously it was uh I want to just share a conversation me
and you had the other day if you don't mind because I think it's been spotting about you
in a positive way if that's okay um got the thumbs up so let's go all right so me and me and jd obviously have been
um becoming getting to know each other a little bit better over the last last month or so maybe
six weeks and what's really nice is that we were just chatting about another token and then jd said
to me well bro i just want you to know that i'm doing this thing and i'm like bro i know and i'm
going to support you in every fucking way that I can so I know that you're a
good guy JD I love the narrative of this I think it's fantastic mate and I'm going to see what I
can do to to get as many other people to buy buy a small bag I'm going to go and look at doing one
myself now mate so congratulations I think it's a wonderful idea it sounds like you've got a great
team around you as well and yeah I think I think it's one of those things like being being a dev myself I know how much fucking hard work it is it's hard right but got a great team around you as well. And yeah, I think it's one of those things like being a dev myself.
I know how much fucking hard work it is.
But having a good team around you is everything, you know?
So I wish you all the best.
If I can do anything to help at all, I'm here, brother.
You helped me a lot in the background.
And I think John's just obviously echoed the same thing.
It's like, I want everybody to win.
I want good projects to win.
I want good people to win. So yeah, that was it really, bro. Just here.
You're going to listen, hang out. I'm going to go and buy myself a small bag very soon.
And I'll let you know when I've done that, mate. So much love.
And I'll be listening. When, Lee? I know. When are you buying? I know. And when finance.
I'm going to buy within the next hour, John. All right? Dude, you just
fucked up. All you have to say, there's one word that you have to answer that with he teed it up for you perfectly
It's the title of the fucking ticker. When are you buying Lee John? Remember? I'm a fucking boomer. I'm a boomer
All right, just fucking cry. I had one job one job
And I can see someone else does someone else want to take this out of you because like I teed it up perfectly and it's the easiest fucking thing ever
you because like i teed it up perfectly and it's the easiest fucking thing ever
there you go you're hired there you go well defy chard welcome to the stage and lee i genuinely
appreciate your comment you know i don't like to to cross shill in your space but i know you're
oh fuck that mate fuck that good people help good people that's what it's's all about. And if people want to dump one project to go to another,
then they're fucking stupid as well.
They should support all good projects.
So no, that's good for you, bro,
DeFi Tired, welcome to the stage.
I mean, you shout out the ticker pretty well,
but do you have anything more you want to jump in with?
Oh, no. I've had my bag is soon for a couple weeks and uh i like enjoying spaces with
you especially the sunday morning one with the coffees it's a good one so uh yeah just keep up
the good work i'm glad to see you uh you're expanding and you're getting your alphas that
you need oh damn it what's the market cap at you guys are gonna make me buy this shit
Fucking buy it dude was 60 right?
Yes, 65 ish 68. I don't know dependent soul like sold to take it back to 73 where it was this morning
All right, someone did it someone send me the CA fuckers. I will send it to you John
Hold up. I've just wait to hide the CA. When are we sending the CA?
Can someone DM at me as well because I'm fucking lazy and then I'll just buy it now?
Yeah, I'll do it soon, Lee.
JJ, sorry mate, I just had to, one more
I'm a fucking idiot, one more, sorry mate
The CA is in the Jumbotron now
for those who like to make soon now
Pikachu birthday hat, something or other.
Pikachu, if you're coming up to ask for the CDA and when you should buy,
the CA is in the Jumbotron and you should buy now or soon.
Stein requested. Come on up, stein welcome to the stage
stein looks smart all right i think i just front run john so that's good i mean thanks very much
john if you can now uh just send it to about three mil market cap and then uh that would
be lovely please mate thanks john i've actually i've got a list of tokens that I'm going to crime candle,
but I will put this one on there.
There's several that, like, the next time I get drunk,
I will probably go absurd on.
But that'll be about an hour then, right?
No, it will not be an hour,
you fucking weird English wanker.
Hey, John, but when? Soon?
I don't know. that's a crime candle oh please tell me please tell me you dropped him down please tell me you did that
i i i totally didn't but it definitely looks oh i'm so fucking happy with you jd i'm gonna go
and increase my bag now so thank you for for dropping John. That was really alpha.
I just want to know which one's
Abbott, which one's Costello, but I'm
baiting myself, so it's another story.
All right, we're moving on. We're moving on. We got a ton
I will just, I'll jump ahead to
something that was later in the agenda.
I don't mind. I can hop around.
We are doing daily morning spaces now.
And Lee, like straight up,
shout out to Lee from Tradie
because he was my inspiration.
I saw him waking up every morning before work
I think it goes along the way for the community.
So real much respect to you for that, Lee.
And, you know, for me, I'm an early person.
Like I realized this the other day
i'm like i'm hanging around from 6 to 9 a.m at my house sometimes i go to the gym sometimes i do
yard work sometimes i just grind on web 3 i always grind so if i'm here anyway why not open up the
mic and just chill and hang out with people who can build together so they've been smaller um but
the past couple days has been really productive like we came up with our approach to TikTok. So I'll just talk about that for a minute now. Crypto guy who is down there
in the audience has been a real Chad, just stepped up voluntarily to create sticker packs for us and
to run our TikTok. So he and I have gotten to know each other. Amazing man. He's actually a student. And, you know, we've gotten to know each other real well.
So he's doing the TikTok.
He's doing a real good job already.
If you guys haven't been following Wenjamin's TikTok, you should.
I'll throw that in the Jumbotron.
But it's definitely worth a follow because it's a new opportunity for us to get in front of people on TikTok.
It's a new opportunity for us to get in front of people on TikTok.
And, you know, the conversation we had in the morning the other day was actually about,
you know, how to think about TikTok because it's a different audience, right?
It's not the same people that are on CT.
And we don't want to break our community up so that some is in TikTok, some is in CT,
some is in Telegram, right?
It gets crazy when projects have too many places to manage their communities.
So in the Jumbotron, you can see, you know,
Benjamin posting about how to find him on TikTok.
You can use that username.
And what we decided to do is because TikTok is a much broader audience,
It's not just crypto buyers and
traders and investors. We wanted the broader appeal messaging there. And we wanted messaging
that's going to be good for people who might be thinking about getting into crypto, but haven't
quite come over yet. Or maybe retail that's kind of been here in previous bull runs and is thinking
With those audiences, we want to be a little different the way we approach them.
And we think because what Soon is doing is providing a service that helps people understand what's a safe, not a safe buy, right?
But like what tech has been vetted and actually works and is from devs who are delivering. If we can go to TikTok and convey that message
that you want to follow soon on X
and pay attention to our website
because you're going to have an easier time
finding the real stuff, the good stuff,
the real tech, the devs who show up,
we're helping people with that shortcut, right?
And so that can be a really good on-ramp
for people who are a little scared to get into, call them shit shortcut, right? And so that can be a really good on-ramp for people who are a little scared to get into,
call them shit coins, right?
And we think that could be the right way to approach TikTok.
So Crypto Guy is going to be working on messaging for TikTok that's going to be more around
helping people understand why paying attention to soon is the way that they can have a more
is the way that they can have a more comfortable and safe on-ramp into the crypto world.
comfortable and safe on-ramp into the crypto world.
So that's one of the reasons we need such great Alpha Scouts, right?
We're not saying these are guaranteed to send,
but we got to feel real good about the projects that we're highlighting and spotlighting.
So pay attention to Benjamin on X.
And his personality is kind of morphing a little bit
because we have officially found our voice of Benjamin.
but if they don't want to throw up emojis,
I'm not going to call them out.
If they're listening and they want to throw their emojis up,
but I appreciate the hundreds.
But I appreciate the emojis anyway and the excitement that we do have a voice of Benjamin um that person auditioned it
sounds great myself the team and the Alpha Scouts have all heard it and like it so we're just
finalizing like the the negotiation on that basically but we're going to be cooking soon
um Benjamin will be on stage with us, talking to us.
He's going to be hosting roundtables with devs and Alpha Scouts,
talking about the stuff that just shipped.
And so now that we have the voice, he's getting ready to do that once a week on Spaces
and also record more of our animations.
Some of our animations, they don't have voices, right?
The one that you've seen.
But we've got multiple animations
already in the can, and the animator's still
some of these will actually have Benjamin talking on them.
Like I said, we're blessed
with a good marketing budget, so this is all
allocations that we've already got
available. I've accumulated
some extra students so that I can give allocations.
Because my goal is to just run this project for a long, long, long time. And, you know, a year from now, there might be a
whole new category Web 3 that we have to scout. And so I need to be sure that I have an allocation
available for a new Alpha Scout in a year. And that's the way I'm thinking about this project.
And that's the way I'm thinking about this project.
Oh, Meg, do you want to come on stage and talk about your giveaway?
Because some people are winning some stuff today.
You've got to give soon away.
Meg did a giveaway of $100 in Soon to celebrate her inaugural Alpha Scout action.
I'll throw that in the Jumbotron.
But it's too late to enter.
It's time to pick a winner.
So up in the Jumbotron, Meg's requesting.
Meg, I got to say, before you speak,
I have no idea how you live your life. I'm telling you right now,
like the fact that you tagged us in that giveaway and I'm managing the Benjamin account and the
Soon account and you said to follow them, my head is spinning. Like no wonder you had a migraine
last week the amount of notifications and how i'm going to read them all and reply to them
last week. The amount of notifications and how I'm going to read them all and reply to them,
i mean the life of a fucking kol anyway nice to see you it's but it's crazy hi jd yes we got a
lot of action for the giveaway i'm excited i'm excited a hundred dollars of soon token i'm still
um i'm in the process of picking the winner now. So I haven't gotten like getting the X picker together.
The one I used to use doesn't work anymore.
So I had to find a new one, but I'm excited.
I'm happy to be giving away a hundred dollars to somebody who participated,
Maybe they'll be here in the audience. Maybe not. I don't know. We'll see.
Amazing. Are you, no pressure if you need to do this after the space, but if you feel like it,
I could, you know, we're going to probably go another 10, 15 minutes if you want to do your
pick and then announce it. Yeah. Yeah. I will try to have it already by then.
Yeah, I will try to have it already by then.
And also, I want to thank you for your contributions in the Alpha Scout chat.
It's like I know you and Aria, I know both of you and myself and Sam, as we dig into that, are still figuring out what the process is exactly.
We have the separate topics for each each category and all but you know it's still us
figuring out exactly what our routines are and our meeting schedules and all
that so just really appreciate you and Aria bearing with us as we figure that
out and bring on more Alpha Scouts and then we figure out you know standard
meetings and stuff like that so just just thank you for leaning in on that, right?
Like, we're the beginning of something that's never been done before,
so we've got to figure it all out together.
We've got to come up with ways of doing it and all that.
I think we're doing an amazing job.
We've got our Monday Memocracies.
I know we're going to start doing Thursdays.
I think we're doing a wonderful job
and I'm super excited. And yes, you know, a little bit of a learning curve, just learn
our base schedule, but everything is going great. Nice. You know, it's funny because
as we bring on more Alpha Scouts, everybody has different levels of experience in the space and
reach and interest. So we'll still refine that a little bit, but DeFi is such a broad space. I feel
like every time something comes up and I don't know where to put it, I just throw it in the DeFi
folder. So you're going to need some help. So for anybody who's here, if you feel like sort of the DeFi space is your area of interest, throw your application
in. Also, just, you know, the people that are taking initial roles as a leader in the category
like Meg and Aria, they'll ultimately like be recognized as the leader of that category. So,
you know, when you, over time, like I imagine like Meg's Meg's you know face and bio is going to be
the the head of that page and then there'll be people that are supporting and adding value and
getting recognized and all that but like if if that sort of role excites you just to sort of be
a leader and be in a leadership role then I would encourage you to apply if you're listening and maybe own other categories.
But there's also a really important need to have people that support the categories.
So, you know, if you're the type of person that wants to be front and center and own a category, then there's opportunity for that.
And if you want a lighter weight role where you're contributing in the background, that's also great.
We're going to need both of those things. And, you know, it ultimately does become a real leadership role.
Like, you know, my aspirations for this are really big. And, you know, I expect like, you know,
don't get scared, Megan, Aria, but like, this will be very rewarding too. Like, you know,
it's going to become like you're sort of managing a team of people maybe someday and not even doing
your own scouting. I mean, there's a potential that it goes there if we do this right. So
we can really build on top of it. And then you kind of each have a team of DeFi or InfoFi scouts.
We've got Kerry. Kerry Legit is too legit to quit.
What's going on, Kerry Legit?
Tell us how legit you are.
Well, welcome to the stage.
On mic, anytime, if you guys want to.
I think I started to talk about this I did earlier. Sorry,
yeah, the morning spaces. So we are going to do those every single day. Those spaces won't be
you listening to me. They'll be us talking together. So bring your ideas. If anybody's
here and you're like, you know, interested in the roles and maybe just don't want to come up in front
of 50 people right now, totally cool to just pull up in a morning space.
But Alpha Scouts do need to be comfortable on stage talking to people.
That's an important part of the role.
So that's why I love to have the Scouts also come to spaces and chat, even if it is just the morning.
You got to be the kind of person that can sit there and interact with a dev, talk to them about their projects, talk to Benjamin, have some fun up here.
with a dev, talk to them about their projects, talk to Benjamin, have some fun up here.
I know I'm going through a lot of heavy content right now, but we've got to be able to just
vibe and have some laughs too.
Welcome to the stage, Light Block.
People love being on stage.
Sometimes they just like the stage the bright lights the podium
the little bottled water that the stage assistant brings you sometimes it's in a glass and you look
real cool because you got a glass of water and you like unscrew that evian and you pour it in
just a little okay jd i have my winner all right i can stop talking with Evian on stage.
Thanks. I have my winner for the $100 worth of soon.
It is, and I'll share it on here also.
I used some type of Twitter picker.
It is priest, and the username is at priest110589.
So congratulations, Priest.
I believe we've been following each other for some time.
So I believe I do know this person not super well, but I am familiar with them.
Okay, I didn't even realize they were in the audience.
I just saw him down in the audience Aw, that's even better
Somebody who actually has shown up
And I'm happy to have him in the community
That's so exciting for me
I don't see Priest priest i'm searching through the
audience oh there he is throwing hearts priest congratulations a hundred dollars and soon man
i mean look that's you know i might be a little biased but i happen to think that could be a lot
of money someday so hodl and build we appreciate you priest um i guess meg do you just need an addy or you already have
one i don't have his address no i was just posting the um just like the draw id and everything here
on the giveaway real quick so that we all know it's legit i just haven't used this this picker before
um but no i haven't i haven't like reached out to him or anything i just drew it
and then it just so happened he was actually here so that's great
nice all right so you'll do some kind of post that celebrates him and we can retweet it from
the soon account or something like that yep i going to just post the winner down below and then I can do a separate post announcing it.
This is just kind of so people can see the how I drew it.
Awesome. All right. Well, when you do that other post, make sure you give soon some love.
Um, all right. So one thing that we didn't talk about yet today, and I just want to make sure
it's clear for all you guys is when we celebrate this stuff that ships, we've been talking about
what happens on the soon timeline, right? You follow soon,
you get alpha. We're genuinely adding value where it didn't exist, right? Like nobody's doing that
today. So we're creating value out of thin air, well, out of amazing people. And that's exciting.
But on the other side of the equation, we're also adding value for the projects that ship.
And so the reason I keep talking about adding value is because I think too many people believe crypto is a zero-sum game.
Meaning there's only so much money to go around and it just won't grow.
Like the pie won't expand.
And I think there's an opportunity with projects like
Soon to change that thinking. Because, you know, I told this example on a space the other
day, I'll use it again. Some of you are old enough to remember a magazine called Consumer
Reports. When I was a kid, nobody in their right mind would spend a couple hundred dollars
on a television if they didn't look in Consumer Reports first and make sure it was a kid, nobody in their right mind would spend a couple hundred dollars on a television
if they didn't look in consumer reports first and make sure it was a good television, right?
Or DVD player, whatever the new thing was, maybe microwaves before I was born or something.
So people were really hesitant, right?
Like, I'm not going to buy a TV.
How do I even know where to start?
I don't understand whatever
and then they got this magazine called consumer reports and it said the panasonic dv 7900 blah
blah blah is a good tv and here's why and it would compare it to sony or to shiba or all these other
tvs samsung whatever and that gave people comfort to go spend the money on the thing.
The electronics industry grew because that magazine existed. It couldn't have grown without it,
right? Like if that, if no one did what Consumer Reports did, people never would have been comfortable parting with their money to buy electronics. So soon it's like that. That's
the whole TikTok thing. There are people that should be hesitant to buy crypto because they don't know enough about it. And soon can help them get the information that gives them a little bit more security. And so I see soon as an opportunity to actually add incremental value. It's not PVP. It's genuinely an opportunity to grow the pie if we all work together and do it
right so i'm super excited about that and the devs should be really excited too because there are too
many devs and there are too many projects it's kind of like there were too many companies making
tvs and not enough people buying them so these devs need us or somebody like us to like
show them to the world, right? And when devs ship tech and all of a sudden soon shows up out of
nowhere and start to celebrate them really loud with custom animations for these individual devs
projects, right? Because that's what we're doing. Like our
animators right now cooking up animations for the specific projects that Aria and Meg are already
tracking. So when they ship tech and we show up loud on their releases on the timeline, all of a
sudden that whole community is like, whoa, what is this soon thing that's like celebrating my bag?
And that dev's excited. If I'm a dev of a, I don't know, $500,000 project, maybe a million dollar project, it's a relatively small utility project, and all of a sudden, something called Soon just starts to post about me with an animation that has my logo in it, I'm taking that link and I'm putting it right in my telegram.
I'm like, guys, check it out.
We just got this recognition and we got a special animation, right, with our logo and this group of people that's celebrating us. And so when that happens, it's going to expand our reach because now we're in even close to their category, right? Yeah, we're all in crypto, but we're not a tech utility project.
So the stuff that we celebrate is not anybody that's competing with us.
We're not a meme coin celebrating a meme coin, right?
And so we're not poaching from them.
We become a value add for those devs.
And all of a sudden, they're just excited about soon and what we did.
And that's it. It's a simple a simple thing right we provide value for them we provide value for the people
that follow soon and we grow and grow and grow our exposure and so far none of that is actually
generating revenue right so far this is just crypto we speculate we buy that's going to be
popular and we buy it because it's going to be popular and you can just buy soon because it's
going to be more popular and you can tell it's going to be popular. And you can just buy soon because it's going to be more popular.
And you can tell it is because of the size of the space compared to our last space.
So if you want, buy soon just because it's going to keep getting more popular and that
means more people will buy it.
But the more important reason to buy soon is because eventually we do this well enough,
devs will want to pay to get on our stage.
So my long term thinking is that if we do this right, a dev should want to
buy and burn soon tokens to get on our stage. Now, I'd love to put DeFi Tide, you're amazing at
DeFi. You're the type of person I'd love to talk to and strategize on this sort of stuff with,
maybe on a morning space if you're around, but, you know, anybody jump in, let's talk it through. But this concept of like eventually having a dev, I think buy and burn
soon makes so much sense. Because if you hold soon, now our incentives are aligned, right? Your
job as a soon holder is to get more and more people to pay attention and to get devs to want
to be on our list and be celebrated by us and then if
the dev pays to get on our stage and talk to Benjamin and be showcased they're going to buy
a bag of soon they're going to burn it and then your bag price goes out because supply was burned
so it's a it's sort of like this like flywheel that we can build together where all of us have
the same incentive which is just to get more people to be part of the community and want to be on our stage.
So I think that's kind of an interesting way for us to approach this in the long run. And that's
sort of like the revenue share, I guess, aspect of this whole thing. Because I want you all to win.
Like, you know, some of you have heard me say this before. I'm trying real hard to hire people who genuinely work hard and deserve jobs in this space.
Some of them never had the opportunities before.
So, you know, I don't care what country you're from.
I don't care what race you are.
I won't listen to anyone who tells me that everybody in this country is a bunch of scammers or whatever.
Like, there are good people and bad people in every country.
And I want to find the good ones ones and I want to help elevate them. And, you know,
I feel a little weird talking about specific countries and people, but just know that I've already done that. Um, uh, and, and I do it carefully. So I have a really good approach
to protecting our budget while also like bringing on people and paying them.
And so it's really simple.
For example, our TikTok guy has milestones to achieve to get his payment.
So when he gets to 100 followers, which he did already, he got a little bit of Zoom and a little bit of Soul.
And if he gets to 1,000 followers on our TikTok, he gets the next batch.
Our animator gets paid at a scale based on how many animations he produces and our market cap.
So he's aligned with us too.
Like he gets a lot of money when we get to a million and then even more at 10 million.
I'm not promising 10 million, but I aspire to get there.
And he's going to be very, very, very well compensated at that point.
But he knows that he has to stay with us and keep working
because together we're going to get to those goals. So everybody that I have these arrangements
with all have like allied incentive compensation plans at like these scales that pay out over time
in increments. And that's how we make sure that we're like planning for really, really
sustainable growth. Sorry if I talk really fancy. I'm a 45-year-old marketing director, so sometimes I
forget I'm on a Web3 space. But anyway, Raw Dog, welcome to the stage. Funny how I just went from
that to Raw Dog, welcome to the stage. That was good. Hey, it's all good. I think this is going
to be an interesting project. I'm so glad to be here. The crypto is just full of just, as you said, you know,
just full of devs and not enough people to buy in. And to me, this speaks volumes because I,
you know, a little backstory on me. I've been going raw dogging spaces for a while now.
And it's, I'm finally happy to like potentially highlight something that I passionately,
you know, have been screaming at the top of my lungs.
Love what you guys are doing.
Thanks for pulling up, man.
I appreciate you very much.
And I got to say it again.
Shout out Priest who won $100 a zoo. Thank you, Meg.
That was amazing. Let's see. I got another request. I got another request. Do I? I don't. I don't. Hey, guys. I did see what Raw Dog's doing, by the way. And I know you just came up
just to chat, Raw Dog. But I have no problem. I'm not the type of person who's ever afraid to talk
about a ticker or a project that people should be exposed to things and make their decisions so i'm not going to sit
here and shill your your condoms but um just a heads up what raw dog got me thinking about is
merchandise and like retail brands and whether that's a category we want to cover um because
that's essentially what they do right like they sell condoms and condom related um funny hoodies and stuff and some of them are pretty funny check it out those
t-shirts are kind of cool man um but yeah i wonder if that's a category in and of itself like
i don't know i i've thought about this myself is crypto going to become you know that merch isn't
just a tactic that projects use an extension of a meme coin, but the primary focus of a crypto business
would be to make retail merchandise and sell it.
It's an interesting category that's kind of new,
Can I give you, I call it a brand coin.
So if that helps in any aspect, I think
it kind of helps differentiate from what
majority of the crypto world is doing at this time.
Brand coins. Awesome, man.
Well, I'm very careful not to invite bias into the AlphaScout room, right?
Obviously, you're biased with one project.
But don't hesitate to hit me up on an individual level if you just genuinely like this kind of Alpha Scout idea and you want to represent brand coins. We've got to be careful that we won't
have too much bias. But I want to just touch on that briefly too. Welcome, Ricky.
We're very carefully vetting the Scouts. Truth be told, everybody in this space has bags,
right? I'm not going to pretend that these scouts don't also own crypto.
And I can't be sure what they own and what they don't own.
So in good faith, like, we're bringing on the best possible people into this team.
And I will be very, very careful not to let bias creep in.
Like, I'm going to obsess over that.
So, like, for example, here's Raw Dog.
Met him the other day in another space, glad he's here. But if I see him come in and like start to promote Raw Dog, I'm basically going to, you know, take him out of the equation. So I know the people, I know Ari's favorite projects and Meg's and like, when we bring you guys in, we're just going to be real careful that we try our best to mitigate that kind of bias.
try our best to mitigate that kind of bias. But at the end of the day, like if an Alpha Scout
has passed a screening exam, you know, has been continually producing unbiased Alpha,
and then wants to also tell us about a bag that they own and love, that's okay too, right? Because
if they own the bag, they passionately believe it and love it. And there's no reason that that
person shouldn't also represent that bag i guess um
so i've thought about this a lot i think it i think it all kind of works itself out um but
yeah i'll be real careful not to bring someone on who represents one single brand if that makes
sense raw dog no i 100 agree and again i think what you're doing is so important so yeah i don't
want to talk about raw dog because there's there's other good projects out there. So please tell me to shut up if I need to
shut up. No, no, no. You did nothing wrong. I invited it. You did everything. You're fine,
man. I mean, you did bring the account on the stage. It was a little sneaky. I'm not going to
lie, but I respect the hustle. So we'll leave it there. It's all good. No worries, man. But yeah,
Anything you want to add?
Sorry I came in a bit late
Yeah it's evening over here
So basically almost midnight
Hello I actually had a question, but I'll just wait
to like, we're done with the introduction. If there's any further introduction with other
people. So I don't like cut out on your time. No, no, please go ahead. We've been on for
50 minutes. We're nearly wrapping the space in the next 10 minutes. So yeah, go ahead. We've been on for 50 minutes. We're nearly wrapping the space in the next 10 minutes. So, yeah, go ahead. What's your question?
I remembered you guys said something about finding new projects
and making soon the hub for new tech and stuff like that, if I'm correct. Am I correct? Am I like there?
Yeah, you're in the right place. I know this. I understand crypto and Web3 and crypto Twitter
is very overwhelming and there's so many things in front of us all the time, but you're definitely
in the project where alpha scouts look for new tech that's been, not necessarily new tech, but techs that dropping releases repeatedly,
devs that show up for their communities. And we basically look for these projects they're
delivering on their expectations. And then we watch them close and we celebrate when they drop
new releases. And we make those releases understandable to people that pay attention to crypto Twitter because Web3Tech is complicated. spaces with the devs of these projects when they release something new or when they they like they
catch our attention or also just going to be like a post thing because i feel that a lot of people
get closer with the devs of projects when they hear them talk rather than when they just create
a post like um new invention creating like there's always something extraordinary being
created every day in web3 everything is extraordinary so i was wondering if like
there'll be a platform because i heard you guys are doing for doing weekly spaces i think it's
weekly spaces so would there be like sometimes maybe an impromptu space or maybe under the
weekly spaces you can bring up the devs that have done something
amazing for that week and just let them talk about it talk about their work talk about how
it's going to improve the space and give people an insight because not everybody learned or
understand things when they read it some people understand better when they hear things i was
wondering if that's going to be part of it or it's just going to be like,
Simple. Yeah, we're doing that.
Depends on the volume of projects
that we highlight. We might be able to get them all in.
We might find that we're finding too much alpha and too many projects,
and we have to be selective.
But we definitely plan to bring them on stage.
Benjamin is going to have his own voice.
So if you look down at Benjamin, he's in the audience.
He's also on the Jumbotron.
I hope everybody's following Benjamin and his TikTok.
Benjamin's going to have a voice actor behind his account who will record the animations and also represent him on stage.
So imagine that account is a co-host and he's talking to the Alpha Scouts.
So let's say, let me paint a picture.
Aria finds some new release from Kaito.
Sorry if Kaito's not right, Aria, but just bear with me.
So let's say Aria's watching Kaito
and they drop some new release
and she comes to, she finds this thing.
And she's like, man, this is cool.
She writes a little write-up,
soon celebrates it on the timeline.
We engage with the Kaito community.
And then we reach out to the dev and say,
we'd love to invite you to our space. They may or may not write back, but we're also going to
post the space link in their community. We won't be obnoxious and go into real communities on X,
but maybe we raid a Kaido post of their release and say, pull up to soon, we're going to be
highlighting your release. And we all raid it. And then we get them to maybe come to our space okay and when they do
we do let's say we do this to 10 projects per week eventually because we've scaled up to that point
if like three of them happen to show up when jimin will already be on stage aria will already
be on stage and if k Kaito dev shows up,
we're going to put on the Jumbotron
the post that we did about their release.
And then we're going to invite them on the stage.
And then Benjamin's going to say,
so Aria, tell us what you heard about Kaito this week.
And then Aria is going to be like,
they just dropped this thing.
And then she's going to tell us about it.
And the dev's going to be there.
And the dev can be on the stage being interviewed by Aria and Benjamin.
And I imagine like Benjamin's role and the voice actor is not here right this second.
I'll talk to him about this.
I want Benjamin to sort of be the less informed one in the room, which is true because our Alpha Scouts would be expert in their
category, right? So Benjamin probably doesn't totally get InfoFi or SocialFi or DeFi or gaming.
Benjamin's kind of like, all right, Aria, you're the expert in Kaito and you told me these yap
things are cool, but I don't even know what a yap is. I can hardly even text my friends.
Like, help me understand this, right?
So Benjamin's going to be sort of the dumb guy in the room.
And he's going to be like the simple mind that Aria and the dev have to simplify the information for.
And I think that's good for all of us, right?
Like, I don't know everything about this space at all.
It's so scary and overwhelming sometimes, right?
So I'm like a lot of the people in the room that want
Benjamin and the Alpha Scouts to help me understand why this stuff matters, because I can't follow it
all. Like Meg's always telling me about some new HyperLen thing or whatever, and I'm like,
HyperLen, whatever, and I'm supposed to know all about it. And Ari's telling me about Kaito,
and then Gina pulls up and tells me about, know i don't know tradie or something and you
know crabby's down there with his vest on and he's just telling me to check out i don't know
the thirst traps because they the tradies get the ladies and you know goes on and on and i'm
seeing on the defy tires tell me about defy mfr which i did buy a bag of shout out but you know
there's stuff everywhere and even though i listen to to DeFi Tart all the time, I still barely understand why I bought this damn DeFi MF firm.
But I did because he tells me it's cool.
So you guys get it, right?
And the Alpha Scouts and Benjamin are going to simplify this.
Like three projects in one hour.
So I hope that long-winded answer helped, Ricky.
Does that sound like what you imagined?
I really appreciate the breakdown.
I look forward to the future spaces.
All right, we're going to do morning spaces my morning, which is about 7 a.m.
Not going to plan in advance.
This is my time. Come if you want. This is me enjoying my coffee. about 7 a.m. Not going to plan in advance. This is on my time.
This is me enjoying my coffee.
My second cup is with you.
My first is because I'm not ready.
My second is when you guys pull up and we strategize and we build and we come up with
cool ideas like me and Crypto Guy did.
And now we have a TikTok channel.
So mornings are when magic happens.
Here on Mondays is when I do the updates like this,
bring new people up and meet new people.
And as Meg said earlier, Thursdays,
most likely we'll stick to Thursdays.
That'll be when we do our alpha readouts and bring the devs in.
We probably will also want to work around dev schedules
now that I think about it.
Like, you know, if the hyperliqu liquid dev is willing to come on our stage, we'll do it, you know, Sunday at midnight if we have to write so so we'll make it work in some situations. But got two requests. Come on up, guys. And we will wrap in a few minutes. Make this really productive and not take too much time from people.
Welcome to the stage, Christian and Crypto Guy.
Christian, anything you want to say before we wrap?
So basically, and I'm new here, I know Meg kind of knows me.
Been following you guys for a while.
So it's basically like you said, Consumer Report.
If there's a project out there that we're interested in, do a write-up.
But the people that do the write-ups are in these roles called Alpha Scout role.
And so if you look in the
one of the posts that has an animation with it.
It's probably all the way to the
right or second to the right.
You can see the hunt for real
builders begins there's a form to fill out to apply to be an alpha scout we got about 20 applications
so far alpha scouts get allocations of soon and they become a core piece of their team and they
focus on a category so you might be let's say you know we need a gaming scout for example if someone's
like really into web3 gaming then they would take job, and they're just going to focus specifically on that category.
But they have to pass a screening exam that we involve to make sure that person's what we consider qualified to be a soon Alpha Scout.
And that's how we can go tell people that these projects are legit, right?
Because our carefully screened Alpha Scout team is actually the one that's paying attention
So keep in mind, this is not all about number go up.
You know, when people hear alpha, I think they hear,
like some of you probably hear that
and think like early CA or something.
This is, we're looking at the tech that works.
We're looking at the devs that said they'd show up and they showed up and then they did it again and they did it again.
Like the projects that just deliver on their promises, we're not saying that this thing is going to make you rich.
We're not telling you when to get entries.
We're just trying to showcase the people that are building stuff that really works and they're continuing to you know advance their product offerings and like
stay with their projects and not ghost their communities that's who we're highlighting and
showcasing um so we're going to celebrate them and raid them to grow our community right get in front
of them and then we're also going to you know highlight them in simple ways on the soon timeline
And then we're also going to highlight them in simple ways on the soon timeline.
So honestly, guys, I'd love you all to buy some soon and help build with us.
It would be amazing because we're going to build some great shit together.
I invite you all to be part of this.
But no matter what, you're crazy not to follow soon because we are going to deliver like
careful alpha that we're building a paid team to deliver to you.
of that for free even if you don't want to buy a bag so there's that um does that help christian
yes yeah that explains everything great product there's this great community i mean so well thanks yes thanks so much it's great it's greater because you're
here brother thank you appreciate it appreciate it i mean it man look every single one of us
matters here in crypto that's the most important thing that people don't realize i mean gino we've
had our dms about this once or twice like if if people don't show up and work like it's it right you know and
everybody's got to participate um you know that's how it is right it's like we in this space like we
all have to have to represent our bags um i'm one human being and you know i like to i like to work
for my bags and you know guys i've been, I've been in multiple projects where I was just
a bag worker for free. And the dev like asked me for an Addy and sent me like 10 to 20 soul.
That's happened to me like five times. And it happens because I just recognize that I'm not
going to sit around and wait for somebody to solve my problems for me. That's why my PFP is what it
is. My kid made it right. It says, what the hell does it say exactly? I'll read it to you. My PFP says, what did I just do? Join space. That doesn't make sense. It says, if you quit once, it becomes a habit. Never quit, right? And my kid made that. If you quit once, it becomes a habit. Never quit. He made it because he sees me as a role model that demonstrated that for him right so i work i work hard but
we all gotta do that right so you know we can build this together but i'm counting on the
office scouts counting on people that help set some raids people that bull post people that want
to make small dca buys when we dip, which we haven't done much, all
that kind of stuff, right?
And so I appreciate all of you.
So welcome to the community, Christian.
D Queen, you got your hand up.
Oh, yeah, I just want to ask a simple question.
You said you'll be having your space in the morning and sometimes in the evening.
So I just want to ask the country, are you in?
So I can know the specific time.
I am in the U.S. and it's 6 p.m. right now.
So I'll do spaces every day around 11 a.m. UTC.
even when I'm talking to East Coast people
because I just think it's the considerate way
to interact with global communities.
So I'm always going to talk UTC
no matter what people say to me.
That would be like 12 p.m. here.
Yeah, so 11 a.m. UTC every morning, approximately.
Just watch the Soon account, and you'll see me spin those up.
But then we always do our Monday Memocracy at 9 p.m. UTC,
and then the Alpha showcases.
It's going to depend on all the Alpha Scouts and Dev schedules,
but like Meg said, probably Thursday, 9 p.m. UTC, probably.
Omo, you got something to say.
I'm going to give it five more minutes
just because it's a good space,
I want it to be great and not drag on.
Well, I just wanted to ask,
I think this is my first time doing something like this, so I'm really intrigued you get. So for the
Scouts, what kind of categories are you going to be giving? And I just want to clarify,
will you give those categories out after you have selected your Scouts or maybe now to
get some, I just want to, like you said, there are gaming scouts.
You get so many categories that everybody has to pick.
I hope you understand what I'm going to.
Yeah, it's a good question.
It really depends on the scouts.
So the way I've been thinking about it is I want good people that are going to find good projects.
And I'd rather that than force a certain category.
So if we don't have a gaming scout for a whole six months, I don't care.
I'm not going to force a person that loves DeFi to focus on gaming.
Maybe we get to a point where we're like, like man we really need a gaming scout we'll go
find one but the way i've been thinking about it is at first let's bring the people and let them
identify the categories because like i said before we're gonna need more defy people
um and we're gonna need you know aria is InfoFi and she's always telling me about how InfoFi and SocialFi are different.
And like that, that area might grow to a point where we need more people on her team.
So if we find great people that will fit into existing categories like DeFi or InfoFi, I don't want to like turn them away because they're not a gaming scout.
I think the most important thing is that we get good people finding good alpha.
And then the, you know, if we get to gaming eventually great.
And I also don't know what the full list of categories should be.
Like I thought about AI is AI a category.
I think it is, or is it not?
Like it is, I think it is, but AI is sometimes used in games or used in trading bots.
So then how do you separate it?
But I think it's a category.
But I think as of now, you know, the meta is currently on, I think, InfoFight.
I think that gets most of the attention currently now.
So I think getting a lot of people on this
a set of five categories and we're going to
rather focus on the people first.
And then once we have four or five Alpha Scouts
and we're already having weekly meetings
and sometimes more often when we need them,
you know, we'll get together with the Alpha Scout team.
So Megan, all right, I think this is a conversation
for us to have actually, like I'm rambling a little,
but we should really have it in our next meeting.
Like talk about what categories we want and need
and then maybe even do like a community poll or something to see what's most
popular, interesting to people.
So, yeah. Thank you for pulling up, Omo.
Thank you to those who jumped on stage and didn't speak,
but most people talked. So I appreciate you.
DeFi Todd, this space wouldn't have been the same without that soon.
I mean, if you want to do it again, I'd love to hear it if you're still up here.
No, we might not have him.
But if you get him back, man, that was good soon.
I feel like I'm not worthy, man.
Everybody give a few emojis for priest because
he won $100 and soon today um Meg is there anything we should look out for on your end
for that post I posted it under the giveaway post the his the winner and then I've already
posted I already got in contact with him and got his wallet and
everything oh i see it okay so i'm gonna throw right on the jumbo chum right now
just before we break yeah congrats priest everybody smash that let's give priest some love
let's make sure that he feels the love on top of the hundred dollars that he's getting
and um yeah man priest that's your money.
You do what you want with it.
We don't sell shame in this community,
but if you hold on to it and, you know, you build with us,
Anybody else have closing remarks, last thoughts, questions
before we wrap and go on with our nights, mornings, afternoons?
Thank you so much for pulling up.
And as always, we wrap with a signature.
