introduce you to my friend my co-host mr. Enzo 305 mr. 305 how are you doing
this afternoon outstanding Steven thanks for bringing me up in here and hoping you
co-host tonight yeah I'm ready for a jam-packed you know next hour hour and
a half of ordinals different you know projects that are dropping and everything
everyone is bringing today to the space so I'm glad to be here and join a nice
day here in sunny Florida yes sir well as you guys know in the past we've
always led with a little bit of a macro and majors overviewed cover a couple of
top stories but this week we've got a very special presentation for you we've
got a great interview lined up we've got a great project to speak with and
frankly I plan on going real hard in this episode so if you want to really
make sure that you're connecting people the right way to the right content
we're here to add an ungodly amount of volume value to your web through
experience today so I would love to dive right on in but just so that you
know what you've got to look ahead to today we've got a great sit-down
interview with the one and only Alamo aka Sean we've got the ordinal eggs crew
in the house appreciate you guys for turning out and we're gonna be talking
about a couple more gem plays but I would love to dive a little bit into
these top stories with you real quick see if we can rapid-fire our way
through it while we get some more folks in here but again please go and
retweet the space and we're gonna dive on into this so Enzo I want to start
with a little bit of a majors play and just kind of get your thoughts on it
right now obviously had a relatively red day it's been kind of an off week but we
also did get news that Fidelity's ETH ETF decision was delayed to March 5th
any thoughts on that decision and where the market is at right now yes even
everyone who's listening here yeah the market you know it's kind of rocky start
for beginning of the year in the back of very strong third quarter to finish
the year so right now tech is still winning tech isn't play Netflix had a
great earnings today adding reported adding 13.1 million subscribers here during
their fourth quarter stronger than expected now they're sitting at 260
million pay subscribers so the stock kind of extended here to the upside so
we'll probably have a strong opening in the tech sector tomorrow in those triple
Q's and in the NASDAQ and then overall you know we're waiting for for a slew
of earnings that's still coming up tomorrow we'll hear from Tesla they
report after after the market close at 4 p.m. we got IBM as well and then Visa
and a couple of major players Thursday but also Proctor and Gamble reported
this morning as well very strong multinational corporation there some of
the best consumer products that you know most of you probably heard of
Gillette Pantene bounty Sharman so they did extremely well today and so yeah I
expect for us to be a little choppy here right we see Bitcoin struggling there to
hold it's making new lows every day and right now it's trying to rebound there
towards a 40k level we know grayscale there's a lot of selling pressure from
grayscale as those people that bought that discounted a futures ETF they got
converted and they don't want to hold that in paying 1.5 percent fee makes
perfect sense so there's gonna be a lot of rebalance in here we have eventful
you know a couple of weeks ahead as all these institutions start wrapping up
these ETFs and and sending their you know teams over and start selling these
ETFs out so it's gonna take a while I expect the next few weeks and leading
into the halving for Bitcoin to find a bottom here this is nothing new we know
Bitcoin in the previous halvings it's it's sold off you know 20 to 30 percent
normally we saw in 2020 it went down to 5k around March April right during
Covid time and then 12 months later it was at 60k right a complete 12x so
nothing to worry here as we talk about just DCA you know and and huddle just
hold hold you hold what you got this is a very volatile asset so but that's
pretty much all I got tonight for the overall macro hey I certainly appreciate
that and Enzo as we go along feel free to chime in we've got a couple other
stories I wanted to put on everybody's radar before we dive into this interview
we've got of course the Bitcoin ETFs officially surpassing silver this week
as the second largest commodity ETF in the States and in a very interesting
news from abroad in the APAC region in Hong Kong expecting a broader spot
crypto ETF by mid-year very interesting story there especially because we're
gonna start seeing more of these commodity ETFs be bundled right so you're
gonna have different assets all bundled into one place so you can kind of get
exposure on the on that sort of normal stock market play pretty interesting
stuff but you'll find at the very top of the space tonight we've got in our
Xbox if you will a couple of other really big stories so first and foremost
got to talk for at least a second about the Sotheby's auction that just
wrapped up that was the natively digital auction that they were running entirely
focused on Bitcoin ordinals curated by 0x far which is the artist from taproot
Wizards and quantum cats we had 19 lots close and it netted roughly 1.1 million
dollars so very successful auction very very great art featured of course
taking the top spot you had far as quantum cat number one which sold for
roughly 254 K unbelievable sale there then we also had some rare sats which
took up about 25% of the overall volume which I still can't believe it's pretty
incredible and then front of the show des Lucrez who has some upcoming drops
they were gonna talk about probably at the end of this show had his Bennett
benediction between worlds which sold for 95 K which was three to four times
that of what Sotheby's estimated its value at other highlights on this one was
that we had the I'm not making this up the first poem that Sotheby's has ever
sold in its history sold at auction as part of this ordinals auction it was
Anna Maria Caballeros cord which sold for eleven point five K and then of course
you had all these other sales that wrapped up from the likes of shroom
Toshi as per a Bugatti Nolish but pokey XC pinata like the list goes on and on
but it was a really impressive turnout for the very first ordinals auction that
we've seen and so did you follow any of those just throughout the entire time
that we were observing this auction yeah I kept going to Sotheby's website
and trying to keep up with the bitty right the aspirin egg the Bugatti egg I
kept an eye on that obviously that's a little bit tied into the OCM community and
also the yeah the taproom man the cat and that thing went up it kept going up
every day and you know every day I found myself on the site there just
checking the price on it so much content I saw the content you put out as
well phenomenal I can't wait to see that thing trading and drop to the
community do you have any insights of when that will actually you know be
available for for any listeners in the space right now to anyone who really you
know wants to pick up one of those cats in the near future here so what I've got
for you on that is we are gonna be finding out probably in the next 24 to
48 hours from the taproot team and the team captains as to who actually got
allow listed for quantum cats I really don't want to spend a ton of time on
cats today because we spent a ton of time last week talked about cats but what I
do know for absolute certain is that that mint is going to be taking place on
the 29th that's what it's scheduled for right now total supply of three thousand
three hundred and thirty three and a mint price of point one Bitcoin so not cheap
but for all intents and purposes you're seeing the very first price discovery
for that collection in that first sale over on Sotheby's so worth taking a
look at and of course as I said up in the Xbox at the top of the space
right now gave a quick recap and I've got to give a quick shout out to Roger
Dickerman and the folks over at 24 hours of art great community very art centric
if you've not yet joined up and you're interested you should go check out
Roger's platform he does a lot of great work in terms of tracking the overall
art market but he did a great recap on what happened with Sotheby's if you
want to get more into that next up in the Xbox I wanted to quickly bring to
your attention that the good people over at Delphi labs aka Delphi digital
and astroport have worked together and officially debuted an experimental
inscriptions protocol on cosmos which they're calling asteroids this is the
biggest individual upgrade the cosmos has seen since IBC and it essentially
solves a huge problem because they didn't have the ability natively to have
NFTs on the protocol or fungible token so what they're now calling CFT 20 tokens
they now have officially added support on cosmos for those I'm really bullish on
cosmos I think that a lot of people this cycle have been benefiting greatly
if they've been state if they've been staking their assets over on cosmos so
I'm pretty bullish on the fact they've made this big upgrade officially public
and now starting to test on that so if you're over on cosmos highly recommend
checking that out and getting a little bit out of your comfort zone with
something brand new the last piece that I've got for you this afternoon in terms
of our top stories on the week so far non fungible Dow came out and that
basically announced that they're gonna be launching with an NFT token like
literally NFT is the ticker for that token in partnership with magic Eden so
the goal is to develop and drive adoption of protocols powering the future
of NFT commerce and that is the entire vision over there so you can check out
more of those stories in the upper part of the space but we're gonna start
moving things forward I wanted to toss it one last time over to Enzo before we
move into our conversation to introduce our guests Enzo any of those stories
really pique your interest where you what are you gonna follow of that yeah
I'm gonna follow up on the cosmos ecosystem I've been you know staking
Cosmo I have Celestia you know I've been diving into that ecosystem for a while
now so that definitely piqued my interest so I have to do some more
digging on that as well yeah I I really do think that we're getting to this
kind of fever pitch in the first leg of the recovery for crypto where it's
like you could throw a dart and get a win and it's a really wonderful thing
to like have that be the case when you run a show called stacking dubs and
it's all about stacking up more wins but you've got to take every opportunity
that you can that makes sense to you that is within reason right so just make
sure that you're keeping your eyes and ears open but for right now we're gonna
put the headlines behind us and move into the first segment of our show
where today I am thrilled to be joined by Alamo aka Sean Sean is a phenomenal
artist really focused you know within what a lot of people kind of refer to as
like post-pop imagery very very strong background lots of great partnerships
that he's been involved with over the years he's collaborated with different
clients like Patagonia Volcom Apple 10 barrel brewing he's been all over the
place but he is what I would consider and I believe he would probably say his
own words we'll get to that that he is kind of a multi-medium artist so it's
not that he's necessarily locked into just you know painting on canvas it
really does span across a number of different mediums and even into NFTs so
Sean welcome into the space I really do appreciate you taking the time to join us
today would you mind sharing a little bit more with us about your background
and what has moved you to create in both digital and physical thank you guys
yeah thanks so much for having me Steven it's been a crazy day still
scrambling for the drop for tomorrow but I'm happy to be here oh yeah let's see
so hard-hitting questions right off the bat I don't know like my art career has
been going on since I was a little kid like nothing you know every kid for the
most part is drawing and then at one point they start moving over into
different programs like you know with writing and math and science and whatnot
but I I really just never grew out of it and it kind of took me into college
going to art school and during art school that it was primarily a concept
school and so every type of medium you could imagine I was exploring and they
really didn't care what you were creating but they really wanted you to
understand what the concept was you're creating and kind of what the narrative
around that could be and so that was really what the grading criteria was so
that taught me a lot as far as you know exploring and having fun and then
being able to to talk shop on what you're what you're creating and then when
I graduated I really you know I started working for different surf companies
and kind of freelancing this is like well before the clients that you that you
mentioned but I was helping with kind of production design and more graphic
design elements and then it kind of moved over into you know in college I
guess back it back in episode second Alamo was created in college and once I
got into the real world Alamo kind of got pushed underneath the carpet because
I was yeah I was doing more graphic design but yeah I was learning all these
different mediums and and learning print design and just the whole entire
like design industry I guess if you will and then flash forward I was living
in San Francisco for a bit and I ended up quitting all of these freelance jobs
and I started me and two other friends ended up getting a studio right in the
mission and all three of us kind of quit what we were doing because we were a
little we're kind of fed up with our work and we all got this space and none
of us really knew what we were gonna create and during that whole year a lot
of my friends were like hey what happened to Alamo you should restart this thing
and so I ended up relaunching I guess if that's the right word but really just
rethinking of what this project was and it turned into you know me creating on
Instagram you know story every single day and then there was a fair in San
Francisco called West Coast Craft and it's this fair that kind of brings in you
know about 30,000 people over the weekend and it's kind of lots of arts
and crafts and like high-end ceramics and jewelry and things like that I ended up
applying for it and I got in and I had nothing like but I had six months which
was insane and I ended up creating this entire kind of merch drop and so I
built out this whole installation I created a bunch of t-shirts and air
fresheners and this whole works and when I got there I had no idea what I
was doing in so many ways and that kind of that whole event put me on the map
and so next thing I know I'm getting these different collaborations with
companies and during that process I was creating so much I mean I had
distribution out in Japan I was all over the place and I was having these
moments of why am I producing so much and all of a sudden I was having these
inventory problems and so many issues in the world of just like why am I creating
and then of course COVID happens and so everything shuts down like what's crazy
is during COVID my sales skyrocketed higher than they've ever been as far as
e-commerce goes but again I was having that moment of why am I creating the
world's ending COVID like what are we doing and then you know a year later one
of my friends was like hey have you heard of NFTs I was like no idea what
you're talking about kind of brushed it off and even in the studio in San
Francisco they like two of my friends already bought into into aetherium and a
Bitcoin and ironically the same building that I had my studio in was was where
a makers place was born and so I was even surrounded with this whole group of
people but I brushed all of it off like none of it resonated with me I had had
no idea what they were talking about and during that time my buddy told me
about it brushed it off and then a year later he was like hey man like really
I need to tell you about this thing just hear me out and you know I met up with
them for a day and he really broke it down to down for me and I had this
crazy aha moment and then next thing you know I'm learning about NFTs for
about six months and then I dropped my first project so it's really this very
long story but yeah I've done so many different types of mediums but at the
end of the day it's it's just what tool can I use to express my my thoughts you
know at this moment in time it's still a lot of fine art with my physicals and
it's a lot of digital kind of bridging for both things I mean it's it's really
interesting the journey that you lay out for us and I really do think it's an
incredible journey that one of the things they didn't necessarily get spoken
to in there is that across a lot of your art which again your Genesis work
in the NFT space for everybody in the audience who's you know curious about it
spans back to April of 2022 but in that journey you didn't necessarily speak to
the fact that a lot of it is travel bound right you you've traveled all
across the world and you've pulled from different trips that you've taken in
different you know put different focuses across all of your travels was
there anything in particular as we you know start shifting gears over towards
japanuary were there any experiences across your past that just really stuck
with you that meant I guess a ton to you from your own experience as an artist
and developing into this new this newfound career yeah I mean I've kind of
I found myself over the years drawing all the things that I love to do and
almost everything I do is in the outdoor space whether that's surfing
snowboarding camping just anything that gets me actually away from the computer
since we're all so stuck in this matrix for the good and the bad and when I my
first was looking at what to drop you know prior to that I was drawing a ton
of surfing and that's that's a primarily part of my business was all
these different prints that went out to retail and things like that and right
when I jumped into NFT space I could have just grabbed all those exact images
and minted them and called it good but I really wanted to figure out like what
during that time people were doing the PFP projects and I was like well look
maybe I could do this and then I looked into it I was like I have no idea what
I'm doing I should probably reel it back a little bit and you know I was
looking at all my moleskine sketchbooks and all these different like basically
my whole library of ideas and I kind of came up with this idea to create you
know 24 images that represented a roll of film and when I really started to deep
dive into that it was going okay maybe I could pull in a story of snowboarding
to really kickstart this this idea with the web 3 world and that's kind of
where it started and it really made me think of dang I have traveled all over
the world in so many different places and so many of those experiences nobody
like I haven't written a book on all my work you know I have I have a lot of
art but none of it is really sharing out those personal moments and so that
that Genesis project was this kickstart of really like sharing these
intimate moments and then during that Genesis it went really well and then it
kind of evolved into these other collections and the next one was sharing
out my sketchbooks which is kind of under the radar because that's such a
different style that people aren't necessarily used to and then then it
started to bridge out into you know approaching different companies to try and
do collaborations with them and then Nifty Gateway with Brian Brinkman and
then next thing you know it's just gone into these okay where where is Alma gone
and how and does this make sense to tell the story and so yeah snowboarding and I
did this camping one and then now it's kind of going back to my roots of
snowboarding out in Japan yeah I mean it's really interesting because you see
these early life influences right because you had mentioned that you know you had
been skating you'd been surfing you've been snowboarding you know for a good
portion of your life at this at this stage of the game and you look at the
different collaborations and it's really interesting to me how that has led you
to this moment with japanuary I mean when I originally discovered your work
I was introduced through a different community called crypto climates where
you had basically done two collaborative drops with made by Megan the creator
over there and one was surf and one was snow so it's it's always really
interesting to me to see how your work is of all their time in terms of like
looking at a landscape versus looking at the people in it so I'm just kind of
curious on that sort of note like would you say that your work is more driven
around the people or is the places or is it some strike balance of both I think
it's a strike of both I found myself drawing things that represent water or
at whatever that means so that kind of goes back to that camping and that
project with crypto climates and just surrounding yourself with that and then
it's also this fascination that I have with people and their everyday lives and
when I again I look back at my sketchbooks and all the things that I'm
drawing are just people and these really weird expressions that I'm walking
and I pull on my iPhone and I see them kind of crouched over in a certain way
and I'm like I got to take a photo of this and I'll kind of look back at past
experiences to pull that in yeah it all kind of it all relates I think in some
way or another I don't know if that answered the question or not no it
definitely did I just think that it's it's an interesting observation to see
how when you look at different projects that you've delivered on whether it's a
collaboration or something that was very personal like you know whether it's an
addition work or one-on-one that you've done in the past how people end up
viewing it so for me like I mean obviously we all interpret art uniquely
and differently but for me I tend to look at the people a lot more whereas
if you have this you know larger appreciation of extreme sport maybe it
is that you're really more focused on the scene and what you're capturing with
that so it's just interesting always to hear from like your perspective as the
artist like where your focus lies so you definitely you know hit right to the
heart of it so I appreciate that but let's kind of shift gears now into
talking a little bit more about Japanuary because not only is this kind
of what you've considered like a really really big trip that you had
taken a number of trips they kind of have culminated all into this one
project but you're doing a lot of really special things with it for those
that are not fully aware I just want to kind of fill in some blanks on the
concept of Japanuary we talked about it a little bit on the show last week but
this is a project that Shawn is working on with nifty gateway in collaboration
with transient labs the drop will be going live tomorrow it's a 24-hour
randomized open edition with a delayed random reveal we'll talk a little bit
more about that in a few but in this open edition you're gonna have the
opportunity to basically get one of six different artworks in this randomized
open edition so as you go through you can you know purchase three and get an
airdrop to your wallet after the fact or you can purchase six and I believe if
I understand this correctly you get the guarantee that it's not randomized
you're gonna get one of each of the six works themselves in addition to two
airdrops so there's a really really great depth to this collection that you
put together and I would love for you to share a little bit more with us about
the journey to creating it and how you ended up you know putting this
together with nifty gateway and transient yeah thanks for breaking that
down you nailed it on just about all all of that yeah so I was in Japan last
year for a snowboard trip and it's kind of my annual two weeks of like don't look
at the computer even though I do surf and snowboard quite a bit it was really
like I need to take a break I'm like exhausted and I was out there and still
you know snowboarding with my friends and and I just knew that trip was so
special that specific one I knew that I needed to to figure out like what a
collection could be for that and so you know that was in that was in early
February of last year and I kind of brewed on it for quite a while and even
prior trips that I've been out there I knew there was something there but I
really had no idea how to express that and you know fast forward throughout the
year I had my first solo show out in New York in July and the whole entire
collection there was all large-scale physical paintings that were all paired
with these NFC chips to where you know if you scan your phone over it you can
kind of see that proof of ownership and it was it was my way of onboarding
traditional buyers a big part of my business are these commissions and a lot
of a lot of my buyers have no idea what NFTs are and a lot of them have
resistance and a lot of them really just don't quite understand it and so that
show is my first real onboarding about it you know show amazing art and have
tech under the hood and without being intrusive and without a big spotlight
saying NFT it's just saying this is art and that was a huge success and
afterwards I basically took a month off just because my head was just so
exhausted and I really didn't know what I was gonna do next but during that
process I was building tech for these NFC chips and the proof of ownership and
kind of that certificate of authenticity and I kept finding all these issues with
the security you know it's like I could create these NFC chips and I can put
them onto my paintings but you know all it's doing is taking it to an open C
page and there's nothing really past that and the more I looked into it you
know if my wallet got like compromised someone could go in there and update
any of the HTML code that was developed and I could put a smiley
face over it and that whole image that someone spent thousands of dollars on
both that physical and digital is just gone and you know sitting off sitting on
that trying to figure out what to do and I heard through the grapevine that
trace was working on a very similar project and so I approached them just to
have a conversation and we're chatting I put together a pitch deck of you know
some of my ideas of how this has been going some issues with it and you know a
couple millions later it made sense to partner up and at that time we had no
I had no idea that was gonna do Japan like that wasn't even on the cards the
concepts and the idea was how can we create a secured certificate of
authenticity like that was the goal and so the first partnership was with
transient labs and once that got secured I really started to develop these
different concepts for you know I was looking at Japan I was looking at
Mexico City I was looking at prior trips that I was trying to work on and the
more I saw it you know what transient labs was doing with their they have a
thing called stacks where they're kind of building out their own website and
really pushing out people's projects you know it's like if I usually I would
create my own website and code that and then I would share everybody hey this is
this project I'm working on and now it's on this marketplace and for those
reasons you don't get very many eyes on your work right it's just word of
mouth on that one specific website and I've found that anytime you collaborate
with anybody it's just going to elevate your work by 10x whether that's the idea
whether that's what they bring to you and what you bring to them and the two
projects that I worked with if they gave way prior it was such an amazing
partnership as far as I give and you know what I'm giving to them and what
they're giving back to me that I approached them saying hey I've been
working on this thing with transient labs you guys have never worked on anything
with them yet what do you guys think about this project and during that you
know that conversation kind of blossomed quite a bit and again I didn't have any
drawings done this was all like the craziest pitches and like going oh you
guys this makes sense to you guys and originally it was you know the
certificate of authenticity and then you know how can we and then I had this idea
of Willy Wonka in the chocolate factory and having those kind of golden tickets
and that was really the base of it and during those months that's really when
Japan you worry got developed and we kept going back and forth on these
mechanics and then it made sense that nifty gateway could house all of these
randomized editions and then transient labs would do the trace and so and here
we are so it's been this insane back and forth and really pitching and couldn't be
more thrilled with the outcome to be honest yeah I mean it really is an
interesting drop top to bottom I mean you've got first and foremost art that I
think that people are gonna find that they connect with different parts of it
along the journey I mean there you spend like a very diverse subject lane across
all eight of the pieces that are you know in the drop itself whether you're
talking about the airdrops or what's actually in the open edition and for
everybody in the audience we've got them pinned up top if you want to take a
look and flip through the different works that are featured in this drop
you've got wabi-sabi life you've got the onsen hot tub and then of course
you've got these physical works that are also involved in it so the piece that I
just want to make sure that everybody understands to this is that it's it's
not just a drop it is also a gamified drop you know in a couple of different
ways so if you could expand on it a little bit for us and again I'd like to
invite everybody in the audience if you would like to ask any questions you know
as we go forward feel free to raise a handle bring up to stage but I wanted
to kind of unpack this real quick because what people don't necessarily or
may not necessarily know is that you do you have an opportunity in getting one of
these open editions if you go through and collect them they're essentially a
ticketed opportunity of sorts to get their hands on a piece of your physical
work and that's where Trace comes in Trace is tied to the physical works so
can you expand on that a little bit for us and give us a better picture of
how they can I guess best increase their odds and best you know play the game and
collect your work yeah for sure so I created six open editions and those are
all digital those are very classic digital NFT and those will be all open
editions for 24 hours on each edition that you purchase is all randomized so
you don't know which one you're gonna get if you don't need to gateway page you
can actually see all six of them when you're on that rotating gif you can it
kind of expands down and shows you all the panes that are that are possible
but you don't know which one you purchased and sell the 20
and kind of like kid toys Sean you're breaking up just a little bit I believe
you were just trying to explain that up there you go are you are you back oh
yeah I'm back when did I get okay you you got rug just when you were talking
starting to talk about kid robot toys yeah the kid robot is you never know
what you're gonna get because on the side of the box you see the options of
the toys but then once you open it then then you see what you got and then you
go oh shit I want to get the other one and so you ended up you end up buying
more toys and so in this case we are encouraging people to buy more of these
NFTs and if you do then there's these kind of collector perks where if you buy
three of them then you'll send you an extra airdrop and then if you buy the
whole set then you'll get two additional paintings and so in that case you're
getting eight total digital drawings out of the whole deal at the end of 24
hours we're gonna do this live drawing to see who wins the two large-scale
paintings that part is very unique that's gonna be pretty fun that's gonna
be on a stream yard and so we'll all kind of jump online together and we're
gonna pull a snapshot of the purchase now we're gonna do basically pickers and
we're gonna see who lucky winners are and it's crazy cuz I I've never played any of
my fine art to me it's the best of the best of work and honestly some of my
favorite ones I'm just laughing at myself going I'm giving these away I'm crazy but yeah so
there's there's the open edition these air drops and then lastly the online kind of
raffle yeah so essentially the the raffle itself is the at least to me one
of the craziest parts of this right and just so that everybody at home knows and
Shawn just so you know while you were breaking up just a little bit there the
fill in the gap if anybody didn't catch it there's gonna be a live reveal as to
who these two lucky winners are but he's never given away these works before
like in terms of his fine art his physical works so it's really interesting
to see that like we're gonna see an experience here where two people who may
in a lot of ways have been priced out of what I mean your your works go
anywhere between 7k and up in terms of your physicals so like you have an
opportunity to get your hands on something really phenomenal they can live on
forever in your home it's it's a very very cool opportunity especially because
each of these open editions are only gonna cost you $75 apiece so to me I
think it's a great opportunity and like I said the subject matter across the
collection is it's very wide like you have a phenomenal piece one of the two
airdrops is a ramen shot that I'm that I have to imagine was somehow snapped
from an Instagram post that you must have made at some point or another and
then you've got a really beautiful picture of Fuji in the background with
your vending the vending machines the jihanki so truly like it's a very vivid
collection there's a lot of really great variety to it and something really I
think for everybody to connect with but I'm very excited to see where this
whole thing goes see how it all plays out and who gets lucky and picks up you
know one of those two pieces the physicals but is there any other things
that you'd like to I guess put on people's radar about the collection or
what may be coming next for you thanks Stephen yeah you break it down very good
I keep rambling so thank you so much for that I mean additionally outside of
this trough I mean this is a beast of a project for me so I will definitely be
taking a break after this but there might I mean some alpha I depending on
how the project goes I'll likely be doing some signed limited edition
prints for collectors and likely for the public as well but collectors would have
that first opportunity first and then once once they're all sold out will be
it if I do that that will be in a few weeks so that that's potential alpha as
far as future projects go I'm being another friend I've been we've been
looking into the generative idea with my work so think of think of all these
wild works built on code so that that is definitely something that's on my radar
that could be really fun and whether that's you know deployed on a layer two
or if that is on you know Bitcoin with the ordinals I mean who knows but that
is definitely on the what the next horizon and that idea is just because
my line working color palette are pretty fun and also you know mid-journey kid
figured out pretty soon and I want to be ahead of that whole entire curve so that
that's another like fun fun project that's been brewing in my mind for the
past year I just haven't had time quite yet well it's awesome you're able to drop
a little bit of alpha on the space so we certainly appreciate that too but
for everybody at home please please please make sure that you give Shawn
aka Alamo a follow and please go participate in this drop tomorrow because
straight away it's a really exciting drop the work is phenomenal but if you have
any other questions from the audience please feel free to raise a hand come on
up I do want to toss it over to our other speakers that are on stage with
us right now to see if they have any questions for Alamo I know Stephen Morse
came up so I have to imagine Stephen you may have a question for Alamo do you
would you like to throw any any questions his way I mean I have many
questions I love to see you know artists mixing tangible and digital within the
space so how do you do it you said you're taking a break that's probably it
taking breaks right I mean as far as not being burnt out well yeah because just
you know staying active in both spaces I mean it can be very demanding right yeah
it's it is insane I mean I'm a I am a one-man team I I have some health as far
as you know all my e-commerce I have a separate facility that ships out all
those goods when an order comes in so that takes away and frees me up and then
good old tax lady and bookkeeper but outside of that yeah it's psycho like
running a business is is not like something that I like to do to be honest
I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to that but I have been doing it
for a long time that I guess I know you know little but not very much yeah
I mean as far as the balance goes I have to be in the water to surf and
snowboard and if I don't do that then I'm not happy and I and I don't get ideas
and so when I'm inside like I have been for the past you know I basically this
project has eaten up a lot of my time I am looking forward to you know not
necessarily disconnecting because yeah the internet is part of us and
running a business doesn't really get that the ability to put on the brakes
but it is making sure that I am stepping away and enjoying myself and you
know why am I doing this in the first place you know it's so I can do these
other things and so when I do those other things that I can create again and so
it's really that 50-50 yin and yang for me I think it's a really really
interesting answer like just looking at the fact that you do have so much that
you have going on but it definitely says something that you know you're one of
the artists out there that has found success that has really achieved at a
high level across your work with fine art and in the NFT space which granted I
still refer to as fine art in its own right I think that you've started to
find that type of balance when you can release some of the workload to other
folks right like understanding where your strengths are what it is that makes
you a phenomenal artist and finding others who can make up the things that
you don't necessarily want to do yourself right that's a very big thing
and I think a piece of alpha that frankly everybody should become a little
bit more self-aware of so I applaud that in you that you you know have started to
figure that out and I think that taking those breaks are essential so I hope that
you get the type of vacation or rest that you're looking for after this one
concludes but I'm curious to the rest of the folks on the panel right now
Enzo do you have any questions for Alamo about his drop or about his career yeah
first off I want to say man this is amazing work right winter in Japan I'm
looking at the pieces right now this ramen here is very inviting to me I
live in Hawaii for quite some time large Japanese population so looking at
that with the poached egg and you know the chives and everything that's
inviting congratulations on that the colors I mean the color palette and the
painting there is stunning it's really nice to see that natural light you know
come through but um the question I had was you know if in the future you intend
to work in Bitcoin right obviously a lot of people talk about that is gonna be you
know the medium of choice for fine art and and obviously the largest protocol
so you already answered that so I definitely wanted wanted to see maybe
the future some of your generative artwork but yeah congratulations on
there and I definitely I'm a person I love collecting artwork one of my favorite
pieces is from a you know an artist in Hawaii Christian Lassen and he does a lot
of the marine artists and outdoor stuff so um yeah I'm gonna go over there and
dive through this work that's dropped that you're having there and ma'am I
have to pick me up a few pieces man I really like this especially you know the
fact that you know you're you're there interacting basically you're going
through right through those things and then and living it and then putting it
on canvas so congratulations again and you know you know best wishes going
forward and everything you're doing well thank you so much that was so nice of
you to say on on all that I don't even have the response that was just really
nice words so thank you so much well I gotta tell you I think there's a lot
that can be taken away from this today and again Sean I really appreciate you
taking the time to come out and talk with us a little bit about the
collection about you know what you've done across your career and get everybody
a little bit more familiar everybody in the audience thank you guys so much for
being here for it we still have about half the show left but I have one final
question for Alamo unless the folks over behind the ordinal eggs account which
I believe is mash if mash has any other questions for Alamo in the moment
before I give him the one final question that I have for him mash is
that you behind the ordinal eggs account GM yeah it's me I am representing
ordinal eggs on this account right now and I just want to say that you know the
pleasant surprise hearing this conversation because my own journey
into NFTs started on nifty gateway way back in you know I think early 2021 or
something so it was great hearing about it you know I haven't
talked about nifty gateway to anyone in a while so I'm definitely gonna check this
dropout and you know maybe pick some up awesome nice thank you so much yeah I
feel like nifty gateway is such a pioneer on onboarding and then it's that
gateway in their name the gateway drug into all the other things that we can't
live without now so I yeah I applaud them and give them as many flowers as
possible because they I don't feel like they get the attention they deserve
sometimes so Sean my final question to you is kind of all encompassing of this
journey right you you've got you've come a very long way to where you are right
now but across the journey especially over the course the last year while you've
been working with nifty gateway and transient on this drop what advice would
you give to an artist who's considering trying their hand at you know
balancing both the physical and the digital with new technologies like trace
is there anything in particular that stands out from your experience that you
know you would give them advice on I you know I think the main thing is just
curiosity I've always really I've liked tech I've worked in tech you know
with all my graphic design before I jump into my art career you know eight
years ago it's really curiosity and what can help elevate your own work and so for
me it made sense you know I was I was drawing on the computer like I was
already doing this digital thing that no one really do what it was and then now
there was this other way so it was this kind of gateway as far as you know a new
person coming in it's it's really it's that curiosity and then their community
you know it's really catering to to who they have been you know offering their
work to and really asking them a lot of questions to see if that is something
that they would all jump on board with that is I think that those two things
are pretty key and as far as the medium it's really just you know what do you
want to make don't make it for other people and make the stuff that you
want to make and don't follow trends just make and have fun I think that's
phenomenal advice looking to the future for you know any anybody in the audience
that's an artist that may be looking to try and branch out into almost the
multi multi medium space that we were referring to the very beginning but
like I said Sean really appreciate you spending the time telling us more
about your career the drop you can of course get in on
Japanuary tomorrow over on nifty gateway at I believe it is 6 30 p.m. Eastern time
going off the top my head here I think that oh no yeah you're right yeah 6 30
p.m. Eastern time I'd say the the best way to really understand the project is
to check out my pin video that is this little mini documentary that kind of
gives a little backstory into Japan and my process and all the pieces of work
and then the mechanics as well that we briefly talked about awesome well in
that case everybody you know where to go find that video it's over on Sean's
profile I believe it's still the pin tweet but again man really appreciate it
and feel free to stick around if you have any questions you know for our next
guest which of course is gonna be us diving into ordinal eggs would love to
have you join in and talk a little bit about what's going on over on ordinals
but again for everybody at home check out the drop info try to get in on it
it's gonna be a really really fun experience I've got a feeling at least
and I certainly hope that you'll participate and support Sean's work but
let's take a quick pivot quick break and just kind of again refresh the room
for everybody you're here at Stacking Dubs this is a weekly show that we do
at 7 p.m. Eastern time every single week and of course if you would be so kind
please make sure that you're spreading the word about the space give a retweet
right hand corner ahead on the show we're gonna be chatting with ordinal
eggs we're gonna be talking about a couple other drops that are coming up in
the space both across ethereum and on Bitcoin ordinals and of course dropping
no shortage of alpha across the rest of our time together this evening but
let's go ahead and dive right on into it we're of course joined by the ordinal
eggs I believe head of their socials which is mash and ordinal eggs has been
around for a hot minute but they've got an exciting new collection coming up
called the mother cluckers love the name by the way but mash would you mind
giving people a little bit of background on what's been going on
with ordinal eggs and you know essentially how you guys have gotten to
hear if they are not familiar themselves sure you know basically to
explain it I need to give a whole history lesson of how we came about but
basically you know I joined the team a few months ago the founders we have two
founders Aiden and Ahmad they were artists on counterparty for a few years
I think they started way back in 2017 or so they've been doing it for a while and
early last year when the rumors started going around that you know the ordinals
have started and all that you know they they heard about it fairly early since
they were they were on counterparty so they started looking into it and you
know even at that time there were there were two sides one thing that
ordinals would make it one thing the ordinals were just a sad so they kind
of sat down and looked at it and you know they were intrigued by it so they
decided they wanted to try to do something so and then they started
noticing that you know inscription rates kind of started skywriting
skyrocketing for a little bit and there was a race going on with the
first 10k inscription so these two artists you know they don't have any dev
experience or anything but they still wanted to you know stamp their name into
this legendary sub 10k status they quickly got in contact with the dev who
knew how to do all of the inscription process and all that and again for
those of those for those of you that don't know or weren't around at that
time you know inscription services were very hard to find it was a very
different way to inscribe stuff in the very early days so they found a dev who
was able to do this and within three days of no sleep you know just
constantly constantly staying in front of their computer they decided that they
wanted to do a hundred hundred piece collection of eggs and so they created
the art for that and I think they started off with I think four or five
hundred pieces curated it down to 100 pieces submitted that to the dev and he
inscribed them and they were able to do all of this you know mostly within sub
6k I think a couple of pieces might have gone over 6k but clearly under 10k so you
know after this they they wanted to form a community they formed the discord and
you know I was actually a collector at that time I had heard about or knows
started looking into it but everything I was seeing you know at that time was
going for about you know thousands of dollars with the early inscriptions I
think scribe Pepe's were we're going for crazy prices at that time so I was
lucky enough to come across or no eggs join the discord and you know found out
that they were gonna be pricing them for five hundred dollars each so I was
you know very happy but again for those that don't know at that time there
was no like wallet like experts the unisat wasn't around then everything was
done on Sparrow there was no magic even marketplace any other marketplace really
so everything was done OTC within discord so coming from Ethereum you know
I've had my share of rugs and all that from over there so of course I was a
little worried that you know this might end up being the same but
something about these two guys and the way I was they were interacting with
everybody they just seemed very genuine to me and you know it kind of gave me
some faith that you know this isn't gonna be a rug so I ended up aping you
know I collected two of the eggs and went through the whole OTC process you
know sent sent the Bitcoin and received my two eggs and all that so that's
basically how the community started and so from there you know most of the
early communities on Bitcoin even now kind of they're fairly small compared to
the communities on Ethereum or other chains so the two founders were you know
it was if they wanted to keep doing stuff for the community so they came
out with a secondary collection called mutant eggs which was a 200 piece
collection 100 for the original eggs and another 100 which was sold for new for
new community members and so this whole time you know their whole desire was to
allow people to access ordinals and enjoy the ride at a cheaper rate
compared to what everyone else was doing and while also you know kind of finding
any of the new tech that's been developing the whole entire year really
and kind of jumping on that as early as they can and give their holders access to
that so after the mutant eggs curse inscriptions came around and they were
fairly early and in seeing that and you know they gave holders an option to get
a cursed egg which ended up being their third collection and that way and so
you know they were always active in the discord and all that but then kind of
towards August or September the bear market kind of started and you know I
dm'd Aiden and you know again liking the project and the two founders
themselves you know I wanted to reaffirm to him that you know I'm supporting them
this whole time and immediately he asked me if I wanted to be on the team which
you know I was based honored that he asked me that and accepted you know so
from two founders we've formed into five team members now and over the past
couple of months as ordinals I've you know really come back to life and are
taking off you know we had a desire to increase our community even more and
onboard more new people from different chains or even from Bitcoin and so we
decided to do a 10 10k piece collection called mother cluckers this time
focusing on pixel art but also introducing some new innovative tech one
of which will be that when you get your ordinal you'll be able to click on it
and it will open up a whole trade console so right there in that window you
can play with all the traits at once you know create different types of
cluckers and that way you can see you know what you like if you have a desire
to maybe try to buy one of those you can search those exact traits if they're
instead of going through the entire 10k look collection and looking at every
single one which you know will take a lot of time so that's one of the one
of the innovative texts where we're introducing with this one the other
one is that we've used recursion and with the recursion we have you know we've
kind of given the mother cluckers a night and day effect where at nighttime and
this is wherever you are in the world so if you know I'm based here in
Atlanta Georgia so right now it's nighttime here so if I was looking at
my ordinal the background will be somewhat dim and there would be a moon
in the background and throughout the night that moon will be moving across
the screen the same way that a that the moon moves you know in the real world
same thing once it's morning here that that moon will change into a sun and
same thing the Sun the background will brighten up and the Sun will move just
that the Sun moves in the real world across the screen going like that and
so these mother cluckers are actually chickens now so that's another thing
that we're doing is you know we started off as eggs and now we feel that it's
time for the eggs to hatch so we're introducing chickens which also I feel
you know in the animal art meta hasn't really been hasn't really been done so
that's why it's time for the eggs to hatch into chickens and you know let
them free it's symbolic a really interesting moment of growth for you
guys and I'm not just saying that to play on the pun but like it really is
a big moment to be stepping up the way that you guys have to not just a 10k
collection but a 10k collection that's bringing along like unique innovations
that I don't believe we've seen in the space yet you know the the use of
recursion for time you time utilization I think maybe like has been experimented
with a little bit time chain is the one that immediately comes to mind but in
terms of the customization element that is unheard of at least from what I know
so that's really really interesting to me that you've got that going on but
let's talk a little bit more about the technical of it because I'm kind of
curious you said that it's gonna be relatively affordable again 10k
collection what's the you know I guess path in for people right now is there you
know allow list spots that they can go after do they have a specific price in
mind at this at this stage of the game yeah so we we are giving out white list
still although from what I know you know we're running pretty low on them
we've given out quite a bit we've been very surprised you know by everyone's
reaction to that pricing wise we have priced them at seven dollars and seventy
seven cents in Bitcoin whatever that is on launch day and you know it will be a
blind random mint we'll be making some more announcements you know on the
launch pad and the actual mid-day we'll be finally finalizing that within the
next by the end of this week I believe so you know keep an eye out on our x
profile or in our discord for announcements on that but yeah seven
dollars seventy seven cents you know we feel that's you know again being a sub
10k project we're giving people access to that you know of course this
collection won't be part of the sub 10k inscription range but it gives us you
know it gives a connection back to the ordinal eggs and we feel that you know
it's very reasonably priced and giving people access to that awesome yeah look
I'm I'm really interested by it again the art is really cute everybody here
knows by now if they've stuck if they stuck around for these spaces I'm a
very big fan of the cute meta and I think that this does check a lot of the
boxes for me so to everybody that's in the audience right now again open
opportunity open invite to come up ask any questions to mash about about ordinal
eggs about you know the mother cluckers project but my immediate ask I
understand that like you know the whitelist of course is getting you know
thin there's not a ton of opportunities is there any chance that we can squeeze
maybe two or three whitelists out of you tonight to give away to the audience
that stuck around and as you know had interest in ordinals yeah well to
everybody in the space this is your lucky moment you've stuck around you've
got an opportunity here to get in on the whitelist for ordinal eggs mother
cluckers the big thing that I do want to impress upon here I know that Nico
just hopped into the audience as well I am anticipating you'll be coming up and
speaking to me and Stephen Morse here shortly I'm not gonna get into that just
yet but Nico and I were in a different space talking ordinals with some folks
and the biggest complaint that people have about ordinals is that it may be a
rich man's game and I think that this is just a very good example that it's
not so like you can in fact find great projects with unique art that's
doing things differently at a completely approachable price point so
again I just want to commend you and your team on that like I think that it's
a really really great way of allowing for a more inclusive drop but if you
would like a shot at getting in on this whitelist opportunity please do me
the favor of going down in the lower right hand corner and giving the space
a retweet and a like and make sure that you are following me and the ordinal eggs
account and in fact if you could just follow everybody that's currently on the
stage would be very much appreciated they've given a ton to the space already
tonight and just want to again show some appreciation of them but the big
requirements will be following the ordinal eggs account follow my account
and making sure that you retweet the space so we will run that via a Twitter
picker at the end but I want to throw it around the horn and see if anybody in
the audience has any questions for mash about the project Enzo do you have any
questions about the project right now yeah I have one question here yeah I'm
looking at some of the honorary drops that you guys did it looks phenomenal
very you know nice cute meta there's a phrase I learned from Steven and I use
it now and we've seen what happened with some of these projects that were in
early right so you know we know a Bitcoin right right now it's not a crowded
space but it will probably become a crowded space in the future just one
question to keep it short you know do you guys plan on any other drops in the
future or you know any any type of incentives that you give these these
holders you know long term so yeah you know we are definitely here for the long
term we're not planning on going anywhere you know I was asked this
question in another space and my you know about a roadmap and you know that's
something we don't do we don't we don't do roadmaps we just like to surprise our
holders you know with what's coming and we don't even know you know if there's
some new tech or whatever new tech is coming out you know we don't know what it
is yet but we definitely want to be a part of it we've made some nice
connections in this space already we want to keep building on that and you
know hopefully you know whatever whatever new thing comes out next we
want to be a part of that and we'll definitely look to get our holders into
that as well well great answer man appreciate that yeah
roadmaps are so 2021 right already lived through that now people kind of want to
surprise going forward so I'm looking at some of the gifs here man I absolutely
love it so congratulations on the drop and and best wishes going forward thank
you and I just wanted to say a couple more things you know again the the
trade console we've gotten many questions on this the trade console will not
change your ordinal whatever clutter you get when you mint that will be the
clucker you have but the trade console is there just to play around with it
and see all the different traits in one place and we also introduced our
holder distribution yesterday you know we we always want to look to reward our
holders so we feel that you know we've been decently generous in giving them
their allocations for this mint coming up but at the same time you know we're
looking to forward to welcoming all the new people that will also be minting
and again at seven dollars and seventy seven cents you know we're hoping fees
continue to stay down as they have been over the past week or so and
with including fees we're looking at a mint price of probably you know around
20 maybe max $25 so again we feel that's definitely reasonable and thank you
Stephen for mentioning that you know we definitely want to keep prices down for
anyone to join we're not we're not trying to be cash grabbers or anything we
do need some funds for our Treasury of course so that we can keep providing
value to our holders and that's the main focus here and no I think that
you've definitely brought a lot of perspective to it across the board so I
appreciate the answer appreciate you know you taking the thoughtful time to
walk us through it I with reservation now I'm not gonna say that I with
nothing but joy in my heart welcome Nico to the stage Nico did you have any
questions for the ordinal eggs crew I came to the two for one deal that's you
Stephen that's the two for one deal and it works actually I love the art I heard
about I think you told me about them on Thursday and I looked them up and all
that no no I'm actually I love the art no I have no questions like there's no
roadmap I checked it out already looks really cool I want one hopefully we get a
whiteness out of the tool I guess yeah yeah look we've got an opportunity here
tonight and again for those of you that have not yet retweeted the space you
have a very very rare opportunity right now to hop onto an allow list with very
little competition so make sure you retweet if you want to be in the running
for that and follow the ordinal eggs account we'll be running that here
shortly to Stephen or Sean do either you guys have any questions for the
ordinal eggs crew no questions for me I was just looking through all the art
it's amazing just yeah shout out on that and like the whole breakdown that you
said is really nice so I mean it's gonna do well I love it yeah well likewise and
thank you thank you the cute meta I love it so the cute matter is always like yeah
and now like and there is like I already know how I'm gonna like talk shit with
them like you know just like yeah they're chicks so yeah no no I'm gonna figure
something out yeah no no it's gonna be fun thank you looking forward to it and
yeah I just you brought up I just wanted to add we have been doing honorary you
know for the numerous people that we have worked with in the space so far and you
know to show them appreciation that will be a separate collection that will be
also tradable so definitely keep an eye out for that but definitely looking
forward to you know to launch date and hopefully welcoming you know a whole lot
more members to our community awesome well again thank you so much for coming
up and telling us more about the collection I will just go ahead and
assume that my honor areas in the mail that is of course a joke I don't ever
understand people who beg for honoraries I think it's just the silliest
thing in the world but I love good honorary collections and I'm excited to see
how viewers turns out to everybody else again in the audience if you have
questions if you want to come up you want to share some alpha of your own
this is an open stage so feel free to raise a hand come on up but I know
that we're about to wrap things up for the evening I've got some final minutes
to put on your radar is on our like a treat on our way out but I want to go
back to Sean real quick Alamo Sean do you have any final thoughts for everybody
I know that you have to head out here shortly do you want to drop anything else
on everybody's radar say last goodbye nothing new I mean thank you guys so
much for listening and and hearing me ramble for a little bit on my work
I really really appreciate it doesn't go without notice so I really can't thank
you guys enough and thank you Stephen and everybody that asked questions yeah
feel free to DM me anytime I'm not a I'm not hiding I like always down the talk
and hopefully you'll get some good rest and if the mint goes exceptionally well
which I hope it does we will hopefully see each other in now Shima at one
point or another happy epic yeah we we connected on Japan early on after I had
found out about the drop and definitely bonded a little bit over a shared
appreciation for Japan so a little bit of an insight there but again appreciate
you Sean for coming up Nico did you have a question or something that you wanted
to drop by way of Alpha I have a suggestion for the ordering rights guys
yeah shoot away so you guys should do like a commercial type thing like what
the cats did but like everybody do something stupid like I don't know
something like how to not pick up women and then use a line like hey you want to
look at my chicks or like I don't know or I want your eggs something like that
something stupid something really really stupid we had definitely discussed you
know the video aspect of people getting white lips and stuff but at the end of
the day you know we kind of decided against this and other projects that you
know already been big on that but we could have definitely gotten some some
funny ass videos made if we had wanted and also real quick I just want to add
you know I forgot one more thing about the new tech that we're doing the
recursion with the recursion you know as far as I know most file sizes up till
now have been you know minimum I think 600 bytes and these mother cluckers will
be a file size of 120 bytes which you know again should reduce inscription
cost and all that so we're looking forward to introducing that you know
into the ordinals world awesome yeah definitely a good addition good to be
aware of that I would love to again invite anybody up if you have some alpha
you have a question feel free to come on up but to wrap up our show this
evening I would love to break down for you guys a couple of the bigger art
drops that are coming up and give you a little bit of news behind the scenes
here from the stacking dubs fam again guys if you have not yet gone down and
retweeted the space for your opportunity to get in on the on the mother
cluckers drop please please make sure you do that I want to make sure everybody
has a fair opportunity but if you are not aware of what I do throughout the week I
also post up a pretty comprehensive mint list called all eyes on art it is a
pretty comprehensive mint list that goes around both Bitcoin ordinals and
Ethereum to kind of promote artists and what they have coming up in terms of the
near term for art drops and this week we have no shortage of quality drops you
can find the whole mint list pinned to the top of the space but among those we
have to I'm sorry not today tomorrow I believe it's voxed by Tangle art
is going to be dropping on our blocks curated I think it's a really good
opportunity for those that have not yet had an opportunity to get exposure to
generative art unfortunately I think that the last drop they did to start off
the year was a pretty slow drop but I think that the art quality for that drop
in this drop are both very very high quality and it would be worth taking a
look at it to see if you can get in on those drops at a nice price point so
be aware of that that drops tomorrow in a Dutch auction you of course know
about Japanuary by Alamo dropping on nifty gateway tomorrow evening and then
for those that are collectors of gen art that are really like well versed in it a
name that you probably have heard before is William upon he has done a number of
different drops both bright moments art blocks curated and I think he's done
drops on highlight as well he has a drop coming up with avant art for
physicals called centrifuge it is something you can just go and easily
enter a raffle for it's a very simple raffle drop system those who are selected
from that drop will have the opportunity to purchase one of those
physical works I believe it is limited at 40 pieces so a very small drop but
would get you a physical work from William upon a true one of one so be
aware of that that's coming up tomorrow then throughout the rest of the week
Thursday we have a really big drop on ordinals coming up and when I say big
I mean it's going to be highly contested memory blocks by dialogue frog
d-a-i-l-o frog f-r-o-g memory blocks will be dropping through an independent link
memory blocks dot art the supply on it will be a hundred and twenty eight and
it's selling at point zero zero five Bitcoin each that drop will be Thursday
at 2 p.m. Eastern time I will of course go ahead and pin that one up to
the top I got to tell you like of all the drops that are coming up this week
like in the generative space not looking like it handmade art like what
Alamo's got I'm super bullish on that drop I would definitely be looking at
this drop if you're looking at getting into the generative art scene over on
ordinals it is a very unique collection by all standards of measurement it looks
a lot like what you would expect from like 90s computing where you have to
like defrag your computer to like get rid of like poorly used hard drive space
and the like so it's a very interesting project I think that the art has a very
standout lasting style that's honestly kind of caught on like wildfire a lot
of people love this drop so be aware of that one it is now pinned to the top
as well then on Friday some of you may be aware of field trip by Andrew McWay he
is officially back with a new collection called stencil I'm very interested in this
in this drop I'm not sure that I'm gonna be able to mince it because I believe
there's a lot reserved for his prior collectors but it's definitely one to
watch last but not least early on next week before our next show we've got two
pretty damn big collections coming up one of which you've heard us mention
earlier on the show but also we mentioned it pretty much throughout the
entire show last week which is quantum cats that'll be on the 29th collection
three thousand three hundred and thirty three or point one Bitcoin if you have
made the allow list there the last one is an eath drop from Claire silver who's
a very renowned AI artist she has a brand new drop coming from brain drops
it is called corpo real or court or corporeal if you decide to put them
together she is not so I'm honoring the fact that she's made them separate so a
lot of great drops coming up a lot to look out for please make sure that you
go up and take a look at the mint list and familiarize yourself with some
brand new artists man because straight away like we got to keep supporting the
artist in this space and that's really one of the big focuses of this show is
making sure that we continue to support artists and give them the type of
spotlight that they truly deserve because they're doing great work out
here Niko what do you got for me alpha I'm dropping my only fans I don't have
money to mint all this stuff so yeah I'm dropping an only fans you're too much
Steven are you gonna go and you know buy into Niko's only fans or not absolutely
not yeah fuck that guy all right anybody else have some outfit they want to drop
for us before we call this one a night
yeah mr. 305 what you got how can we forget on chain monkeys they migrate over
tomorrow as the portal for Bitcoin opens up so if you don't have a on chain
monkey or a karma collection it's over on the open C on the Ethereum side and if
you buy one you can migrate over to Bitcoin and get four inscriptions with
that so I just wanted to put that out there if anyone is thinking about the
OCM community but yeah I wrote down the dalo frog obviously the quantum cats I'm
gonna keep an eye on that next week not that I'm gonna get in but it's
definitely something to watch and I love the animal Alamo drop so the Japan drop
so that's gonna be nice so I'm gonna go ahead and do some some due diligence on
that tomorrow so mr. 305 reminded me uh what the fuck is this comic coin stuff
that is a anybody know so that's actually a really good thing to bring
up right now perfect I do have somewhat of an answer but I want to throw it to
the other guys on the stage while I work out the Twitter picker Enzo Stephen do
either you want to chime in on this one I'll keep it short I really don't know
much about it I know it's it's an airdrop coming I was on a space
yesterday the only thing I understood out of there it's probably gonna be for
the for the Genesis holders but no tokenomics on that we don't know dates
or anything like that unless you guys got any other alpha fuck I gotta get my
so I got my Genesis in a in a in a smart contract right now you haven't
transferred your gems over yet no what it has to be on Bitcoin yep has to be on
Bitcoin cuz how else are they gonna airdrop you that token because it's
gonna end up being either a winner BRC 20 oh shit oh shit indeed when is the
next portal after this one tomorrow at 9 a.m. after this one I don't have a date
for the next one do you Stephen I haven't heard any dates but I do for the
following I do not have one for the next one I believe it's every quarter this
year so it might be you know a couple months out it's a shit to get an eco well
yeah please and do get you get your get your shit together yeah if anybody wants
to see what a really quality submission is for that you should go to mine or
Nico's profile and find the most recent video that was a trip we basically did a
parody of the Sarah McLaughlin commercial in the arts of the angel
for the ASPCA and basically did it for quantum cats so it was a more time I wish
we had more time I would have thought up some other shit and I wish it wasn't 19
degrees here honestly it was like I literally that no printer had to walk a
couple of blocks the staples and then go back and like yo there was no way oh
my god I wish we had a little bit more time these motherfuckers chose
generative delicious oh man that's funny yeah I know it was it was rough but
it is what it is you can only get so lucky Stephen what do you have I'm going
to mention my upcoming space in which I'm gonna be deep diving into my project I'm
working on which is an interactive on chain generative experience on ordinals
so Thursday at 6 p.m. EST all right all right all right love to see that love to
hear it I will do my very best like I believe I told you in DMS to be there I
also have one final announcement I did put it out earlier on today I am very very
lucky and grateful to be able to share with you that I am going to be hosting
the official launch party for function gallery which is going to be a brand new
generative art house over on the Bitcoin blockchain so that will be tomorrow I
believe it's at 4 p.m. Eastern time I will make sure it's pinned to the top
along with all of the other things that are pinned to the top but function has
a couple of really really phenomenal artists that are currently lined up to
drop on their platform in their launch week slash month so please go over give
them some love I'm really honestly excited for them I think that it's
gonna be a great addition to what's already becoming a beautiful ecosystem
over there on Bitcoin so please go check that out I will again have that
pinned at the top for you but we'll have actually we haven't announced it but
I'm gonna announce it here because I'm an anarchist there's going to be a couple
of giveaways during that space if you want to get your hands on some
physicals that will be an opportunity so if you want to get a physical print of
some dope gen art I would definitely set a reminder for that space all right
gang we're gonna run this Twitter picker right now and see who is getting
lucky the qualifier is you have to either be in the space or I've had
have to have known that you were in the space so let's run this thing
through and pick our three winners and we have of course we have the goat dot
Eve we have Anton Anton I think you were in here yep you're right there
Anton congratulations I will be in touch with you for your entry and our last
spot goes to ironically because he joined us up on stage I want to hear from him as
well speed racer speed racer congratulations on your allow this spot
that is what we've got for you this evening speed racer would you like to
share any I guess thank you speeches or anything like that with the the
audience thanks I was actually just going through their their pages as we speak
looks pretty awesome just love all the tech that's coming into these projects
we're kind of past the phase of just you know copying and pasting stuff from
ETH and putting it on to Bitcoin so I think these we're kind of getting into
phase two of the ecosystem and more mature art I think the one of one art
that Steven you've been promoting with a lot of your spaces is starting to come
to the spotlight I mean we just see the volume that's been being sold at
Sotheby's and places like that I think that's only the beginning yeah I'm right
there with you so stellar assessment stellar commentary to tap us out on the
evening again to our winners I will be in touch with you to Nico go fuck
yourself I hope you guys have a wonderful rest of evening
hey hey Nico Nico just the quick on the OCM Karma coin you do need to move that
over it's all this is all gonna be based on the tap protocol and I think it's
gonna kind of replicate this NAT token that came out recently and it's all
done by a by a builder and and yeah so you get you got to get it over because I
think that that protocol I think is gonna be going live in a month and I
think we're gonna be part of that but if he posted a Jason Fang posted a thing on
here it said announcement about karma coming out Wednesday Pacific time get
ready on chain monkey track BTC tap protocol pipe BTC all three of those
were were developed by somebody who sorrow invent sorrow ventures backs just
like they do meta good so it kind of makes sense that he would meld both of
these investments into one one conglomerate in a sense well there you
have it you have all of the alpha that you could possibly go off into the week
with and that's what you get here on stack and dubs we bring you collections
that are worth having on your radar we bring you art and artists that truly do
stand out from the pack across both Bitcoin and aetherium and occasionally
somewhere else we don't talk about Solana here that's the one thing that I will
draw a hard line on yes yes that is a joke about Solana anyway do really
appreciate you guys it's always about uplifting our community here so I
appreciate you guys coming through and supporting the space we do this every
single Tuesday at 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time I will tell you right
now in the near future this space is probably going to get a lot bigger we have
an opportunity that I am NOT going to be making a full announcement on for
probably another week but we are going to be growing our little family here so
you may see a different name but the space itself will be here at the exact
same time 7 p.m. Eastern Time every Tuesday that's been it for me I'm your
host Stephen Miller signing off for the evening and we will hopefully see you
next Tuesday but go out and get yourself a couple more dubs this week have a good
