Do kids today not know keyboard shortcuts because they just
write code?
Oh, it looks like Enzo does... He needs
a premium Twitter account.
He doesn't have...
He doesn't have a premium enough account.
You haven't paid
Elon enough money. That's like 48
and a half steps for this. I might as well
here when I just buy it right now.
No, no, no, no.
It's too late. We would have to restart it now we can do it tomorrow we'll do it tomorrow we've already
i think it takes some time anyway to like they have to like approve you right yeah or maybe it'll
work as soon as you pay i think you get some of the features we have goat ferengi back saying hey
we have goat ferengi back saying hey i need a fucking it's literally goat ferengi
it's an honor yeah it's an honor goat ferengi it's been a good guy though
oh wow it's like uh you can see it like collating all the different viewers as
everyone is coming in across the different platforms uh so do we have no one is viewing this on abstract though
which is sort of interesting because uh yeah in theory there should be viewers there right
Okay. Well, let's go check out the markets here.
We need like an intro video or something.
Ole looks okay at 125. Pigeon shielded Eugene. Sorry, not Eugene. Well, fake Eugene Ng, real Daryl Wong.
But Pigeon is chilling at 125.
He says, long at 125 for medium size.
Think we swing pretty violently from 88 to 82,
while GME and Mara Catalyst, coupled with ultra bad tariff scenario,
already playing out, makes us a decent risk-award spot.
I mean, it is pretty much like it's got to bounce here.
It's just going to die.
So definitely seems okay to stab along.
DeFi liquidations are usually short-term bottoms in ETH,
I've noticed over the years, especially big ones.
Because what people do, I think,
is they short into the liquidation,
and then they buy back the liquidation to cover.
So usually it's like people expect to cascade at the big lick,
but actually it's shorts will cover with the big lick.
Some galaxy brain inside.
I guess that makes sense.
It's how you get the best fill probably.
Yeah, exactly.
Because you know you will get your cover from that liquidation.
Whereas a lot of people are betting that it's going to cascade, which it might not
even happen.
There really have been many cascades this cycle, man.
No, it's actually been really chill this cycle.
There's been even very few large corrections.
I'm starting to believe that the meme about FTX causing all cascades was actually true
and correct.
I think the reason why there are more cascades before is
because there's like waves of leverage and there's like a lot of waves of hidden leverage um because
ftx was so big on portfolio margin so you had these waves of like stuff where and also alameda
was internalizing liquidation so much that like like when the market nukes and then you get all these licks and then
the market now goes calm for like a week like they have to now t-wop out for a week of this thing
but meanwhile you have tribucca bull posting it being like oh you should buy the lick look how
crazy this liquidation is to buy and then but they're trying to get out on that liquidation
but if they can't then you cascade again right because then they basically guaranteed
the backstop it's like hlp basically they but except you can't see it like they they have bought
back client longs for like huge size now they have to sell it back in the market because if they don't
they're holding giga risk right so yeah like hlp if it got big enough would also cause liquidation
cascades uh if everyone was using hlp uh in hyperliquid
it would be completely insane imagine like hlp gets like suddenly long like three billion dollars
and then it just has to and then everyone can see it selling so everyone rushes to sell in front of
it and then it nukes again uh public market making strategies just don't really work in the long run you have to hide the strategy
don't market making public you can build in public but don't market making public
so i mean the whole thing with market making is basically that like uh
you're trying to not let you're trying to move large amounts of capital without getting front
run right yeah like what happens when you know someone is moving large amounts of capital like
you it's just like you can actually get sandwiched attacked by like uh a manual discretionary trader
yeah it's like it's like playing poker showing everyone your cards be like i'm max transparent
here i just want to be transparent up front here are my cards i got eight seven of diamonds hoping for a flush i just wanted to be honest i just
wanted to be honest yeah so that actually would be a kind of cool like poker variant if everyone's
cards were visible well yeah there's still some variants there yeah i mean it would just be like
a game it would just be like betting odds would be like probably like yeah yeah it just becomes
like all well i mean i think the thing is the average the average casual poker player doesn't
actually know like the odds well enough so like it still would be yeah it's like all the power
retardation it would be like it would be like watching chess where two players who have no idea what's going on are just blundering against each other over and
over it's a pretty funny meme and poker to just make up cards in your hand and tell people
yeah what if they also have that card though now you look like a retard
maybe there's a...
You never know.
Maybe the deck is fucked up.
What if you just actually tell them your cards
and they assume you're bluffing them?
You tell them your cards,
but one of them is different.
That's like the Lucas strat.
Tell them your hand four times,
hand four times and then on the fifth time you tell them your hand except one of the cards is a lie
and then on the fifth time,
you tell them your hand,
except one of the cards is a lie.
so you so you rope them in and then you hit them with a big one
I think it's just like you have to like establish patterns and then break them
like isn't that the meme with poker like uh it's a meme with like all uh interpersonal lying games
is you're supposed to just you know it's the same
with markets actually right like it's why you get like the three wave breakouts like after people
are like oh this is a pattern it will now continue up then it says well you actually
we're not going to do that anymore no this is interesting though because like uh i'm talking about like uh three wave shit
looking at this it's a lot of waves it's a lot of waves
i saw people like dumping pay pay like it's like a seven day negative scalp of 40 percent
people are doing so huh it's like capitulation to me yeah i was uh i remember when this wick happened here
and uh i just had ptsd because like last cycle every single time eth wicked down like this
it was guaranteed to uh like it may fill the wick but then it was going to fill the gap
later like it always did this last cycle right like if you ever saw an Ethwick down to a price, you could just safely short until that price again.
And it would always fill.
This was my like one alpha that I had all of last cycle.
So I saw this and I was like, well, it's a different cycle.
There's less Cascades.
Maybe it won't do that this time.
And then it just it did it.
And then and after it did it, it like gig a candle up and I was like, oh my God, maybe
it was like, maybe, maybe, uh, God isn't letting it happen again.
And then just instant, instant revisit, like one day revisit.
It is crazy that it's literally trading like lower prices than some of my bear market buys at this point.
There are points in the bear market where it was above $1,800.
It goes to show how overvalued it was in the bear market.
I think there was this idea of it's a safe haven during the bear market.
the bear market like it's got revenues at least it's got it's productive bitcoin is not productive
It's got revenues at least.
It's productive.
Bitcoin is not productive.
while really i think a lot of the issue was that like three like what the 3ac liquidation was
mostly bitcoin and so that created this weird like fbtc move as well afterward because it made
it look like there was more demand for eath and for perfect and then also celsius was similar so
you ended up with this like dynamic where uh and then you had the merge
which sounded really bullish so you had this like triple threat of like you know eth is the new bear
market and bull market asset and then people got really comfortable with it because they're like
well in the bear market it's already at 0.07 bull market's like like 1.15 yeah i mean also i think
everyone that stuck around in the uh bear market was just very heavy ETH.
Everyone was bullish on ETH.
Everyone was still trading on ETH.
I got sucked into it as well.
I was mostly positioned in ETH from the lows.
And then luckily, I realized I was wrong and flipped, bought Sol and then bought BTC.
But that was all the residual buying that was left is like people
were buying eth and so just kind of survivor bias too obviously yeah yeah because like if you were
in like luna or like salunovax you you got like you got a little bit owned so so you probably died
but then if you were in eth like you know it didn't go down that much it went down like 40 or
something and then so it actually outperformed like crazy on the way down.
Like it held up so much better than everything else. Yeah.
So it is weird that that is like a really weird dynamic.
I really don't understand like where the buying came from to keep it floating
like that, the entire bear market.
Cause it can't all have just been like CT retards that are bullish ETH.
I don't know.
I think that there was the POS narrative.
A lot of people wrote, wrote, rotated in for the deflationary tech
um and yeah i think like after lunaclapse like it was very bearish for seoul as well and also
for other l1 and so i think that money also rotated back to eat yeah it's like big i mean
that's the hope for all season right you get finally this idea of like okay
like everyone thinks bitcoin is extremely safe as like the asset to hold and then you have some
rotation back but it would be harder to do now than it was like last cycle because there's too
much money required like you would need to get bitcoin etf buyers to buy eath to create that
all season and they may just not care they may just be like
i'm not i'm not rotating guys it is funny like every single time we stream somebody comes in
and comments about how like this is good r and r here for eve like yeah it's just going down
at a level this cycle we've actually started looking at valuations. The average person this cycle now, the average
smarter investor is starting to get aware of like, wait, okay, how much revenue does this generate?
What is its current market valuation? And they're now comparing it to actual companies.
And when you look at the Ethereum-
You're gigacodes if you do that. You're gigacodes.
Yeah. And the reason that we never did this before is because the valuations were so absurd,
right? Like Ethereum was valued at like $500 billion while making nowhere near that in revenue
last cycle. So everyone was just like, oh, crypto is a new paradigm, like valuations don't matter.
But now it's like, it's appearing that they're starting to matter and so you can't just say like well your token
price is like uh it doesn't correlate to the valuation uh at all right like you you actually
appear to need to uh either generate revenue or act as like a serious store value to get trad
five flows at any serious level yeah I mean if you look at like shanghai composite pe it's like a 4p of 13
while you know the the the so-called defy renaissance coins is like 25 pe on average
and they're justifying it be like well it's growth so like if you if you start and that and that's
coins that actually make revenue whereas most of the the coins are like 1000 PE because there's no earnings.
Yeah, PE is not what we want to be fishing.
I think, I mean, it makes more sense for like DeFi protocols and stuff like that, but not
L1 networks. Definitely not L1 networks definitely not l1 i think
that that was really dangerous i think we kind of contributed to that because we were like oh
eth is a productive asset so it's like you have productive sovs and unproductive ones
and then i think yeah people have five nine the hype around that was very bearish in retrospect
because it doesn't get max attention and max activity on eat like you can never reproduce that in the next 50 years that this kind of nft activity right
and so you can't benchmark the roi to to that basically because then you'll never like the
growth will not be there right if you if you extrapolate it you'll be like well next year
like everyone's going to be minting nfts like they're going to spend all that word if these trends continue you know so yeah like at the top of the bull market like well if these
usage trends continue this is every day right by 2025 the entire world will have two addresses
on the ethereum mainnet yeah i mean you have to believe that to buy openc at 10 billion right which people
did right it raised that 10 billion i think so it's actually wild how much capital did they
actually raise off that valuation like hundreds of millions i think that's checked but yeah
but there was so much money in crypto vc back then too like now i think it's the same as 2018
like in terms of the dollar amount in crypto vcs i think it's like venture um
so like in 2021 like the sheer difference in amount is just crazy like in 2021 just write
checks for eight figures like everywhere i I remember like there were like DeFi protocols on like third tier chains like Nier. You would see it, your analyst would say
it's good and be like sure let's put like five mil in. Yeah that's fine. At like 300 mil voucher
let's just do it. And like now it'd be like extremely hard to like get a valuation of like
20 mil I think even with that same thing. So like 0% interest rates.
It's crazy.
Yeah, this was actually something that like I've always wondered about for Amelia was like, did we fumble by not raising last cycle? That would have made like that would have like really kick-started the exponential curve it was nice in the end
because we didn't have to like uh deal with the type of people that were like shipping checks then
ever and i think that would have actually been like horribly destructive to like remelia overall
to the extent that like it might have just killed the whole thing but uh it does feel silly when you see stuff for it and
also like at that time too like uh that that thesis was sort of like nobody was like oh i think the
i think this like jpeg is going to do so well that xyz or like i think this will be worth it
i think you're almost always better off like not raising if you don't have to.
It's better to maintain complete control of your project.
Yeah, especially as a product.
With NFT, a little bit different, but still.
I mean, you could have done a raise.
Pudgy Penguins did a raise, and they went more consumer direction.
But Remilia going more consumer is kind of weird.
It does have that kind of edginess that might have been unpalatable to a lot of like vcs i can see them being like you know can you
guys turn it down type of thing like not understanding what the value prop is yeah i agree
so and you guys ended up doing like the cult launch anyway which almost
was like a public raise. It ended up working out
Yeah, in the end.
So Safi sent me this thing that I popped up here.
There's a new launchpad on base, right?
I do, yeah. Well, I worked on that with the pseudoswap team. Yeah, it's called Basecamp. It uses like V3 liquidity pools and stuff.
But obviously, it's like...
Activity's pretty low now.
For a while, it was doing okay.
Well, what am I looking at here?
Some sort of advanced...
I think Sabin's showing you another token launchpad.
Yet another token launchpad on base.
There's literally like hundreds of launchpads now.
Spawn. Sustainable pyramid of assets where no one loses money.
I saw not so fast posting about that.
It's like somehow if you buy someone's token, it automatically spawns new tokens or something.
It actually seems kind of like an interesting gamut.
So it made like a launchpad where it's like a launchpad for launchpads.
It's like Spore.
It's like Spore. Yeah, it's like spore yeah it's like
when you buy a token it like creates more tokens so it's like i was i was about to make a joke that
we should just keep like making meta launch pads such that you have launch pads that launch launch
pads that launch launch and so forth uh but then it's it's like that the joke would have actually
been like no lucas you misunderstand the. That's actually what they developed.
So when you buy someone's asset, it creates your own asset.
But who will buy your asset?
I don't know.
We should just launch one right now on the stream.
That's a really...
We should just launch one on the stream.
Psychotic based oxygen.
Supercycle coin.
It'll go crazy once the supercycle starts.
Yeah, I'm not sure you actually get to choose the name of it.
It's like all randomly generated.
Oh, I see.
This is like a big, big net.
It's like a mesh net.
Safi is saying go.
So, Safi, here's a quirk of StreamYards.
When you send me a comment here, I actually cannot copy-paste your comment.
Like, I need to be sent it over Telegram.
No, you definitely can.
You definitely can.
I can copy this. Yeah, yeah. Yeah can i'm doing this yeah yeah yeah you probably have
a key logger or something it's probably no no no because well mine replaces the copy paste dialogue
because like i'm running the stream which it just like if i click over this the comment it just says
hide or show and i can't copy or paste it just control C man use it so we could control
see it to you on telegram and then you click it there yes I like actually
right-click copying come on no like you can't control see it okay
control a your whole web page and then copy it into a notepad and then look for
what you want just to take a screenshot of it and then text it into a notepad and then look for what you want. Just take a screenshot of it
and then text translate it.
Yeah, I'll take a screenshot of it
and then I'll send it to my Telegram saved messages
and then I'll open it on my phone
and then I'll use the built-in
take a photo of it on your phone,
Google Lens,
and then you just press it.
It's powerful.
So how does this work sappy is this like are we early is this oh we're early like we're
definitely within the first like thousand years he showed me tst at 50 km cap and i faded i was
like bro test token i'm not buying any test token
test that tokens don't do well what do you mean test test nft test nft vermilio's
study contract design it was faded
okay that was definitely uh not one of our best one of our best names but
in the end it wound up being our best name so i thought it was
it wound up being really fitting uh but it was told it was a total accident if we're being honest
okay so the spawn asset itself is only 2.3 mil mcap so it's not not huge yet
this looks really rough guys what is this bounce this bounced 20 off the bottom here $20 is now a percent Lucas money.
Like $10 moves are now real moves.
That's the power of math.
How many times have we hit this level here?
It's like one, three four five six seven
it's stronger every time you hit it right yeah right that's how it works
this is though like there was a there was a a period during the last, whatever this goofy period was down here where the meme would always be like, Solana would look like this every time.
every time. Ethereum would look like this or like a little below every time. And Bitcoin would look
exactly like this somewhere in between. And I'm feeling some type of way seeing this all recreated.
Okay. So Savvy says, so every buy and sell creates a new token. Every token generates a 2% fee,
which goes to the upstream token
creators central one and the one generating all fees going to spawn so there's incentive for
people to pump their token or create more to make fees for themselves so i guess the idea is okay
it's like an mlm ponzi like it's it's a ponzi scheme but it's like priced in like it's built in
yes like it's mlm
so spawn is the actual protocol token yeah
so are we supposed to ape it here?
It's on base?
Why did they launch on base?
Base is still the apex predator EVM right now.
It's definitely the most used L2 for sure.
Actually, do we have an L2 usage chart anywhere uh you could pull up like defy llama
or something oh no i think l2 read is i think it's most technical stuff but like the user
okay you're gonna
apto sir stepped in to say hello he says everything looks good here
yeah kyle tells all the guys it looks good here whenever he sees them all the new guys
you'll learn. I'm kind of like more inclined to just buy the protocol token than in any of these thousands
of shit coins at spawning to be honest with.
I don't know. That's's tough a lot of these seem
like really good buys like just imagine if spawn goes to 250 billion like these things all have
to be beta right so you'd probably make five billion dollars if you buy one of these
i still don't quite understand it actually. Do you guys understand how it works?
So I think there's probably like it's in the transfer function or something that it creates
a new token if I had to guess from like a contract perspective.
Yeah. So each time it gets stressed, it you're going to get all the upgrades.
But when it creates a new token, who owns the new token?
Like how does the LP pool?
The buyer, whoever just bought or sold.
Like if it's your transaction that spawned the token, then that's your token.
So you own all of it or what?
I'm not sure.
I don't know.
I think it goes into the liquidity pool mostly.
I think you own like the fees that are coming out of it really you might get some of it i'm not sure but so wait it's literally every
time you buy a token it makes a new token or sell yeah buy or sell i do i do appreciate this from
the sense of like uh you're you're basically ddosing the chain right like this this whole
project is like basically like let's test base
throughput this is a great way for new l1s to pretend they have a lot of users actually to
create a new spawn it's not even pretending like at a certain point you you do now uh okay so it
looks like three random letters normally.
And then spawns sits in the middle.
Wow, this is amazing.
Look, this is... Wow.
Sustainable pyramid.
Sustainable pyramid.
Already such an amazing start of assets where no one loses money.
Dude, that's so good.
each generation has a larger
creator fee. Creator fees
are deposited into BTC
coin with the
portion being used to buy tokens up
the tree and given to creator.
That's pretty sick actually.
That's pretty sick, actually.
But no one's going to buy the coins below the second layer, right?
Like you would just buy spawn so you constantly create
clusters around spawn I don't know I don't know what the game theory is man
dude look this look oh my god look at this like the random like the n at the end stands for no one loses money like it's like a four letter
like or a four word it's good branding it's good brand i'm saying i do think i do think we have to
buy something on this now actually i've been convinced by their acronym game like i do like this bubble map they have it feels it feels like home
it feels very basey i have to say like uh this this particular yeah this image in particular feels very basey to me
so is there like high taxes on the spawn token itself or something because
I mean this I think the whole thing is that just every transaction has to be taxed at like five
percent or something right I don't see anything on deck screen here but
see anything on deck screen here but i don't believe spawn trades get taxed i believe that
um the new tokens those have a two percent fee on them which go to upstream token creators
well okay if spawn trades don't get taxed, then isn't it like every time you buy or sell
spawn, you make a new coin?
Oh, is that it?
Every time you buy or sell spawn, you make a new coin.
But doesn't that new coin need to get seeded from something? And doesn't that have to be
your buy or sell? So wouldn't that have to be a tax? Or does it just launch a coin with zero lick?
It launched four hours ago.
So we are early here.
Asia Open.
Asia Open launch, like Trump token. Which one is Lucas which one do they think is Lucas
so you could do you think that people could plausibly confuse the two of us like is there any way that someone would think like this is lucas
i don't know there's no way he says he says he guessed it was you
good guess man you're correct
doesn't it say who's who somewhere no right oh you took it out if you have camera on no i don't
know how to i don't know how to put it in like it ever since they put these weird demo scenes in
here it like took all our names out and shit and we're just confusing everyone it seems like it
only puts it in when you're uh not sharing screen yeah all right i bought the. I bought the token. All right. So let's see how it goes. Although it seems like I got slipped to hell or there's some kind of fees or something because I'm like immediately underwater.
That's what I was going to say. Like you have to get slipped to hell. This has to be like slippage, the protocol, right? Like it's not even slippage. It's just like the bid ask spread can never be tighter than 5%.
So you're not even getting slipped. It's just that the market exists in a constant state of gap.
Welcome to my coin. You're raped.
I'm looking at the transaction to see if like routed taxes somewhere, but I can't
really tell.
You have to buy on their website.
That's kind of based.
Oh, do you?
Did I just waste my money by routing it through?
I don't know.
I usually use DeFi Llama for most EVM stuff still, even though the DeFi Llama guy is sort
of a dick to charlie
yeah i actually started making like a remelia themed version of their website because of that
yeah that's actually not bad i might do that or i might be down to support that sorry i'm
not gonna do that i don't know how the to do that i've got a pretty pretty decent uh amount of the code written so did i just rape
myself by buying off the website or oh or defy llama okay yeah i used defy llama so we're good why is defy llama so why is that guy so angry at charlie he seems angry at me too but but
that's more normal but i'm just confused why he's angry at charlie i don't know man like he basically made that big threat about like uh milady's evil pedophile
rapist stuff uh and then at some point like you know it's like at some point everyone in the thing
is doxxed and it's like okay if you like if you truly believe there's like a case of charlie
raping chinese babies like you can just file a police report at this point uh you like we don't
really need like you know like if you if report at this point uh you like we don't really need like
you know like if you if you're bringing serious claims of anything against anyone like just do
the police instead of Twitter threads uh it makes a lot more sense and uh nobody really did the
police thing and uh I guess but he's like leaving the thread up or something which like I think
Charlie's basically like this is annoying because it's like uh this is like a weird defamatory relic
that is just like you know it's like you're being kind of an asshole
especially like a lot of the people that he's friends with came out and apologized and all that
yeah like it's basically everyone involved in that whole cancel has walked it back and said,
like, even if I do personally hate Charlie,
like that was like a bit of a dick move on our parts.
Like we didn't necessarily need to set up
like seven figure bounties on like headhunting this person
based on Discord rumors.
That was a little bit out of hand very true i like i like raf having a is this a small brains nft or is this a
soul what are the soul nft things i can't see that an SMB. That's a salon monkey business.
I've been seeing the small brains NFTs a lot more than I thought I would actually.
I had a pretty good trade on those at one time. I had an amazing trade. Dude, that was my one
giga whitelist haul from last cycle.
I whitelisted a lot of those.
Because they eventually changed the whitelisting parameters.
So you had to go in and post your hand in the Discord to get verified.
And I fucked with my hand.
I had one where I had long nails and I had dirty hands.
dirty hands and then I clipped my nails and I cleaned them and then I used my other hand and
And then I clipped my nails and I cleaned them.
And then I used my other hand and then I mirrored it.
then I mirrored it. I generated like 10 fake hand pictures one Sunday to get everything whitelisted
and then like every wallet wound up being like 60K or something and I got one of those like super
goofy rare like I got one of the pink ones that wound up being worth like 250K or something
and I round tripped the shit out of it.
I giga-round-tripped that pink monkey.
That's crazy.
I didn't actually mint them.
I just bought them pretty low during the bear market.
It was before Miladies recovered from the cancel dump.
So I bought some of those, and then they 3X'd, and then I sold them and bought more mladies with it so that was pretty cool
this is uh I think NFTs are the best beta cycle is this real beta to what beta to that's the thing
is like they actually have like my NFTs that I've been holding on ether have appreciated
in the number of ether tokens however that that has still not been able to outpace the rate of
ether uh downing yeah but if I was holding Solana nfts I think I actually would agree with that
right like I think if you were holding Solana nfts no no really everyone got completely raped on salon nfts yeah
hmm like d gods were like a thousand soul or something at the bottom oh i don't even consider
d god the solana nft i can i mean they were at the time like a cultural pillar in some ways
a culture they're like the mladies of frat unfortunately frat bros don't buy as many nfts
i mean same with like uh one of the popular ones at the time that was when it was like bear market
was like abcs uh and they were like going for hundreds of soul now they're like sub one soul
like it's if you were holding your soul value in nfts you got raped compared to holding soul
what about uh mad lads
are those cooked as well uh they've probably done the best but they're definitely i'm pretty sure
like if you had a mad lad at the bottom when soul was like 12 it would have been much better off
just selling it for soul and holding it on the way up yeah yeah makes sense i mean on the way down
it's like people don't sell the n because it's like this bottom thing anyway,
but they can sell the liquid token.
So the best beta is just the coin itself.
And then when it actually like tops off, usually,
like you would see a wealth effect NFTs,
only this cycle hasn't happened.
Like there hasn't been that rotation.
Because most of the soul is either in meme coin guys
or it's in like ETF.
I mean, not ETF, but in like institutional guys
who are buying the galaxy sales. So you don't get that like wealth effect triple in the same way
yeah i feel like a lot of the meme coin traders just take profits into stable coins really yeah
maybe that's why you don't get that same well they do a strain of watches oh yeah
straight into m bmw m4s and hs yeah and then they win
then they win and then they win like that's the store of value so he also so he'll season
It's the heel season.
so he'll season
Broke with flourishing.
That's the thing.
That's art markets, right?
That's art markets for you.
Spawn going up
three mil now.
Yeah, I guess I'm up
already. That's not bad.
Oh, someone just full stack
it was sue i don't really understand the router i don't think i got raped that bad buying but it
looks like if you sell on anywhere else besides the website you get kind of raped i might have
I might have gotten raped somewhat the first buy,
gotten like raped somewhat the first buy but i just bought again on the website so
but I just bought again on the website.
I'm sure this was Safi.
I'm like 40%.
Literally, that could be.
Safi waits for the exact moment at which you say,
oh, it looks good.
Safi, yellow.
I see you're showing yellow a bunch on BSC.
Isn't that like the 500K MCAP?
Or is that a different yellow yellow what's the thesis on yellow
that the binance logo is yellow chinese people are yellow
sign up coin 500 km cap
so is the new TST yellow?
Chinese people are yellow.
some are more yellow than others.
Some are more yellow than others.
I almost feel like Latinos are more yellow than Chinese people.
Yeah, there's a brand of mestizo that puts the Chinese to shame.
It's like proper yellow.
Fake yellow. What was the highest meme point on Basecamp that it ran to? Probably Base Melio, and it went to 10 million.
Oh yeah, I know Base Melio. I think we listed it one.
Yeah, it was listed. The problem with that token, it ended up being...
When we first started the platform, I think we had our initial liquidity provisioning set a little bit too thick.
So it was just like super high MCAP to liquidity ratio, like too thick.
You know what I mean?
So if it was like...
Yeah, if it was on Solana, it would have straight up gone to like...
So kind of disappointing, but it did really well.
I mean, to get to 10 million on like bat liquidity is still pretty good.
But then we did adjust the liquidity profile for like the starting coins and stuff.
And I don't know, it's just, it's impossible to compete with pump.
Like they've really got it locked down, you know?
Maybe we should bring base camp back.
We should just have it on Oxfam.
You can like launch base camp coins.
So I was just like working for pseudo at the time.
So I, it's not really like my code base to do with what
I want. Yeah. It's like their intellectual property still, but yeah. Otherwise I would be
like, let's do it. But I mean, it is like open source, I guess. So I don't know what kind of
licensing is on the contract on chain, but yeah, it's just business. Yeah.
Yeah, it's just business.
So did you guys wind up changing the liquidity ratio?
Yeah, so we basically ended up adjusting it, the default to be pretty similar to like
Didn't PumpFun adjust their liquidity ratio also?
They did when they released the AMM.
They made it even thinner i guess makes sense since there's like less money sloshing around so to get the same move you like
but they get full stack killer it's so much faster so like it's easier on the way up sure
but like on the way down it's like one guy can get out and it's toast so yeah yeah i know like
that's the weird thing here is like i i kind of expected that at some point people were going to like uh start preferring like liquidity again like they were going to start going back towards
like the eth token model where there's actually like uh things to buy and sell into and uh i mean
i guess i guess having like super thin liquidity makes for better games because now you can play like goofier like if you're using like uh like meteora or something you can put your liquidity at a
concentrated level that makes it much funnier right like you can hold levels you can break
levels by removing the lp like uh you can just around uh and you can't really do that if it's thick throughout.
I mean, it's also just like the majority of what people are using these tokens for is like gambling, right?
So you want the dopamine of the price moving a lot.
Like I think if you want to trade something with thick liquidity, you're just going to go trade like perps on majors rather than trying to trade on chain
and yeah i guess they are just recreating leverage in some way right yeah like you're
recreating leverage but the fee you pay instead of being funding is actually just slippage
it's like pumpamentals is what they call it i mean we've had this debate in the AUX community for like a year now where
whenever those pools are low,
like low liquidity, people are like, oh,
we need to have huge liquidity, then it will pump.
And then we incentivize huge liquidity
and then it doesn't pump. They're like, no, no, no.
Liquidity is too much. It's too thick. We got to let go
thin liquidity so that
it can pump. It's like, I think
there's arguments people make
on both sides of it.
But obviously, like thinner liquidity works, I think. pump it's like i think there's arguments people make on both sides of it but obviously like
thinner liquidity works i think um because it creates a better game theory as well like if you decided to buy it you you know you're not going to be able to get out until much later
it almost becomes like more like semi-liquid it becomes like venture you know if you have five
percent of a coin for instance you can't get out anyways
into the pool you almost have to wait for more catalysts you know and like spread across multiple
wallets and like so it naturally incentivizes the right behavior whereas like yeah you should like
almost treat it like an angel investment or something yeah exactly whereas when it's like
a really thick pool it makes dumping easier uh and then buyers are like, you know, because they like to see market
impact if they're buying. Like, okay, if more people
buy after me, then it's going to go up even more.
Whereas if they buy
and there's no impact, then they're like, oh, shit.
It takes like billions of dollars
to move this coin.
There's not be a stupid debate to even have actually just because it seems pretty proven
and clear that like uh pump fund figured out what people like to do and it appears to be low
liquidity yeah people still debate this though like you'd be surprised like like for us people
say well because of the pin all currency it needs to have super liquid d5 pools
and it's like what if there's not and it's just more fun that way because then you like
there's more slippage and there's more like crazy stuff it's like okay um you know so
i can see it both ways like but like we have crazy big pools now relative to our mcap on
all stuff but we have a i think total of like four mil liquidity uh on like a we have like a three to one ratio
so so so now all the big pool guys are like no we need smaller pools like so that it can pump
it's like no you just told me we need bigger pools but when it was higher um because bigger
pools really do allow people to dump easier like Like, it's just like dumping technology.
Yeah, they do.
When someone sees, oh my God, there's this much liquidity.
And if there's any FUD, they're just like,
what if someone pulls the liquidity?
Like, I have to get out now, right?
That's what they think.
I mean, it's also definitely,
it's definitely better to err on the side of thinner liquidity
because like if they choose to the projects can always add additional liquidity it's
like you can't remove liquidity if it's yeah yeah that's exactly the thing like uh if you
hypothetically release like a coin with like a ton of locked liquidity over six months uh
and then it's just trapped there and it's's like, okay, well, it would have made much more sense, actually,
to use half of that tool for marketing or for anything else, really,
than just putting it there in a stagnant tool that doesn't generate any fees
because no one transacts in it because the biggest move has been 7% up or down
like the biggest move has been like seven percent up or down in the last month
in the last month.
mubarak is uh people are mad about mubarak do you guys trade mubarak no it's absolutely what
happens what's the lore well i mean it's just dumping on like uh in mubarak and it's the end of ramadan yesterday yeah um
we should start blaming muslims for the coins going down now like this is like we've like run
out of fun cycles it's like we're just blaming different religions that have holidays it's It's kind of a crazy ticker to get listed on Binance, like Mubarakoin.
Is that not?
What are the chances it was launched by a Muslim?
That's what I was getting at.
It probably actually was.
It probably was.
We need a Christmas coin then.
We need an Easter coin coming up.
There's probably some funny seasonality with it.
I think they'd be pretty evergreen.
Easter is funny. Oh, God.
Is it not April Fool's?
Why are we not...
Someone has to run an April Fool's coin up.
It's ticker Fool.
We need to launch it right now.
He's going to launch as we speak on
10 different chains uh saffy launch launch pool coin right now just stream two percent we're gonna
get yeah just no no just give every commenter don't give any of i don't want to be responsible
for anything that fucking happens with this coin give it to our commenters this is the lucas rape cabal and they have two percent each of
supply no no no i'm glad i took my ens isn't like public wallets out of everything people used to
always like people used to always send me the coins and then be like okay we've already sent
it to your wallet like now you're gonna market for us right and i was like no no no no no like here you go it was chilling now
like i have no conviction but did you guys see that novigrad's 200 mil fine for
for shilling luna while dumping it no
so apparently what happened was because he got the tattoo and he posted the tattoo
on the same day that he like he was apparently selling in galaxy um but i think the lore is
though that he he promised that he would get a tattoo of luna hit hundred dollars when it was
at 20 like he made a tweet about that or he promised dokuan or someone and then it actually
hit 100 so he had to get the tattoo but so it's like you're like
locked you're locked into getting like a 200 million dollar fine because you made like a
public like you all that with your friend yeah like if he had just it's priced like he's like
he's like sitting there the whole time he's getting the tattoo like god damn it
yeah like i actually i'm not i'm not i'm not like white knighting him but i but i do
think like there's actually some honor about getting the tattoo while selling because the
lesser man lesser man would just sell i'm not gonna tattoo and then he wouldn't even be fine
because he wouldn't get the tattoo but like imagine like the only way he could have avoided
this situation is like he gets the tattoo
and then he posts the tattoo and he says despite my luna tattoo i am no longer bullish on this
promise uh what's that mean now uh promise made promise delivered is the trump meme promise me yeah he's
just he's just yeah he's just promise made promise kept he's not saying like because you can get a
tag like like sometimes like a girl might break up with a guy and get a tattoo anyways of the
experience right is that it's kind of a real thing in some in some in some places so it's like he's
getting a tattoo to remember it yeah exactly it's like i just made millions of dollars
of course i want to i'm pretty sure they'll just make this defense but if i was their lawyer i
would have made this defense for them i feel like like why are we why are we assuming the tattoo is
bullish first of all i i know a girl who got like uh she kept like tattooing her boyfriend's names
on like some part of her thigh and like then she would get like a cover-up of like another guy's tattoo and then like she just kept covering it up and it was like at some point it went she
was like well yeah it used to be like a thing because like i just made bad decisions but now
i like actively do it because i think it's funny uh you just keep rewriting you keep rewriting the
voice right tattoo every time you have a new one. That's kind of disturbing.
Advanced whoring.
I appreciate anything with self-awareness. The world's best whore.
Literally no one does it better than her.
And do you know that there's actually
an incel coin
launched it was it actually was uh one of our friends used to be someone who worked with us uh
and uh he he minted it and gave me five percent of supply and i've just been sitting i've been
sitting on it and everyone's like lucas is surely going to shill the incel coin soon
every now and then i do i do come out with a post saying like this coin surely going to shill the Intel coin soon. Every now and then I do, I do come out with a post saying like this coin is going to zero,
but it appears that it's like,
it appears the effects of my like posting about it going to zero,
are just more bullish than like me saying nothing about it.
And there's also like,
and there's a bunch of people who have accumulated like ridiculous amounts of
on the thesis that at some point,
uh, I, I must pump it, uh, because it has my like profile picture as the, have accumulated like ridiculous amounts of supply uh on the thesis that at some point uh i i must
pump it uh because it has my like profile picture as the ticker icon yeah and uh so i'm kind of
hoping that these people that are holding like 20 of supply eventually sell but it gets worse
actually like there were like two of them that had like massive amounts and they sold but now new people came and accumulated huge amounts of the supply so like uh yeah i think it's like it somehow has
not actually gone to zero i think it's because i have the five percent and i have not just market
dumped it right like the last person to sell in the liquidity pool
when lucas sells is a true incel going down with the ship i do like the i do like the meme of like uh it has to go to zero like it's going to zero like uh no one loves you no one will ever be
there for you the coin will abandon you as well like just like blackmail posting of all time not the
coin not the coin i feel like you need to make like those ai videos if you want to do an incel
coin properly like fat is doing really well off of their ai videos i don't know if you've seen those
uh it's the fat fat inward season coin i don't know if you've seen it. Yeah, babe. Got some pretty high quality video production going on there.
You can do that same for insult and just be like,
when insult hits this price,
like everyone's getting like an automatic girlfriend or something.
Automatic girlfriend?
That's what it was already supposed to happen.
Like a robot, just an automatic girlfriend.
I mean, it's just Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is insult tech.
ETH is insult tech gone wrong.
No, blockchain is incel tech as a whole.
Like the entire thing.
It's like who needs permissionless, trustless transactions?
It's the person who trusts no one.
It's the user who trusts no one it's the user the user who cannot love like
someone says you know i can you know you can say it right you know i still don't feel comfortable
saying the n-word i i actually got semi-canceled in 2020 for a rosa parks tweet i actually had
never told lucas the story uh basically i tweeted something like uh owning crypto is like being Rosa Parks
at the back of the bus
like we're going to get to the front of the bus
and I thought it was funny and true
by the way at that time
but I got like pretty cancelled by like
a bunch of guys on it and I was like okay fine
I can't make that joke
was that like one of those things that like uh it's like an early early re-entry into like
american libtard culture 2020 was pretty libtarded it was um 2021 was the peak 2021 was the peak
yeah 2020 had like mike dudas being like oh my god this guy's so racist he hates black people
20 had Mike Duttas being like,
oh my God, this guy is so racist.
He hates black people.
And it's like...
Actually, I should just tweet that same tweet again now.
Actually, no, I deleted it.
I can't even find it now.
But I should just find what I tweeted and tweet it again.
Did you get butted out of it?
Like you got...
They harassed you so much that you said,
I capitulate like tweet is gone.
I'm so sorry. I was like, you know, this is a medium capitulate like tweet is gone i'm so sorry i
was like you know this is a medium to low conviction tweet maybe crypto is not like
we're both the parts maybe i don't understand we're both the parts well enough because it was
like this is exactly the meme of like when asian people experience libtardism and like what what
they do with it accidentally and then how they respond when they get yelled at and they're like confusion like there's like a perfect template of that exact thing
it happens all the time in like stem fields and stuff like that
yeah chinese people when they go to the us like especially like bobs they'll say super racist
in american standard stuff without realizing it
uh yes and everyone everyone just stands like it used to be this really funny thing where like nobody knew if you were allowed to like uh yeah like nobody knew if you were allowed to say it
because it's like yeah you're like i'm white am i allowed to like correct this this minority who
said this accidentally racist thing like uh and then at some point in libtardism like
uh white girls just said no we're gonna do it like they're evil for it uh and then like you
had these like very confused koreans and chinese people being like uh i think they're breaking the
conditioning yeah it's right the asians on the racism we're breaking the conditioning do it live
yeah like koreans in la versus like blacks in la or like latinos in la all the race riots in the 60s and 70s it's pretty funny history yeah
the period with the uh the rooftop koreans that was a good one too that was the la when
oh okay that honestly would be a great computer game someone should make like a mini game like
koreans versus blacks versus latinos in la this is what i was thinking when you were talking about
like the incel videos i was and then whites and the whites in like the suburb and like like
you you said uh the incel ai videos i immediately started thinking of like an ai slop game where
like you play as elliot rogers and you're doing like what was that like modern warfare 2 level
where like the level is that you're going around like uh you just kill all of the civilians as
part of the level yeah yeah just like a kill everyone mission yeah
every single villain in the level is like uh it's like the hottest woman in the universe
like you're going through and it's like a giga stacy like plow down right like you have elliot rogers and all of the women
it's like it's like a building group or like bohemian grove seven foot two world economic
forum for hot women you infiltrate it and then you kill them all
and then like and then like uh for the power-ups like after you hit a kill streak, you get a power-up where you can summon a bus driven by an illegal Mexican that comes in, and it just crushes a hundred of them walking on the side of the Apple store.
Dude, we should be game devs. What the hell?
AI has enabled us to do such things, we're just sitting here uh not coding this i wonder who are like are there any other like incel is that chud mass murderer is he an insult or not i don't think so i don't think that
was ever his thing okay it's like harrison clebold count or Columbine?
I think that they were
too misanthropic generally to
earnestly call them incels.
They were incels incidentally, but
it was neither here nor there. I think Elliot Rogers is the
most classic, right? Yeah.
He was explicit
Elliot Rogers was just honestly
extremely memeable.
Calling yourself the Supreme Gentleman
and taking that wine glass
picture. It really is
evergreen. The Supreme
Gentleman. That shit's never getting old.
The Supreme Gentleman.
What did he do in his life? He killed
a bunch of girls.
Supreme Gentleman looks inside mass murder
the supreme gentleman like uh oh check the early life on that one and it's just like killed nine
people i mean you can just have an insult like om style thing and then the meme can be that like stacy's will buy from us eventually or something like chad will buy like like chad chad will buy and then we sell to chad or something
and make videos around that chad exit liquidity some kind of like a underdog thing it's like um what is it
yeah i mean maybe it's like easy will cz will list us eventually like cz is the king incel
i don't think he would like being characters and so though i don't i don't think he would
uh i think it would prevent you from getting listed but that's almost more bullish because like a strange narrative to never be realized that would
honestly be a hilarious bnb chain coin where it's just like cz the incel and you're just like we're
celebrating cz's insult them something i think the bb validators might just block you that would
be a really funny test of the uh like CZ's listing
every runner like what if you run the CZ as an incel coin up so that it's the highest MCAP coin
on uh BNB the highest MCAP like meme coin uh but he still doesn't list like no you guys
Savvy why do you like BSC though? It's such a
tough chain to make money on now.
Unless you're really early.
I think that's why you like
the Zappies literally
really early after things.
Like stuff doesn't run past 3 million. take a look he's posting arcane gems the ticker is yellow Chinese people are yellow
the chain is yellow CZ's favorite color is yellow cheese is yellow
the possible pump on airdrop is horrifying
do do we think that they're actually going to do an airdrop or do we think that they like the
idea of an airdrop i think they'll do it i think they'll do it savvy says i like it because there's
no competition i can buy early every time you mean in terms of deployers right like there's no
there's no one else besides you building narratives on bsa
that's kind of funny because this is also true of a chain that has no users in general
like you can buy everything early if no one else ever buys it
right like i can buy something early even two weeks else ever buys it right like i can buy something early
even two weeks after it launches if i'm the only buyer
I don't know, man. The pump on airdrop thing is actually really like, uh,
i don't know man the pump on airdrop thing is actually really like uh
I don't know. I mean, there, there's definitely like seed investors and stuff. So
you think they're eventually going to launch token.
It's definitely going to come. I think, I just think they have a lot of benefits from doing one,
um, in terms of reactivating community and stuff.
And I think actually they should not do the hype playbook of like max buybacks and like
max that kind of stuff.
Because unless you can buy back every coin you have, you should actually just like do
the treasury model instead, in my opinion.
And just make sure you build like a proper virally expanding community around it
that's my view because with buybacks the issues that you will buy back at the most euphoria of
your product and then you will create that higher you like you will create that exit liquidity for
whales but you won't actually have money like you won't that'll then look bearish when it's going down like that's
what's happening with hype now right now people are saying this is the problem with safi man
this is a problem with safi safi can literally go to the most ridiculous place in the planet
and then generate 10 million dollars so there's a lot of chinese users if i can
find an error that'll catch
their eye potentials a lot safi is the uh god damn it safi
um yeah safi safi is sort of like a weird like I don't know like it's it's there's too much
yeah safi safi is sort of like a weird like
giga chatting going on in Safi's general trading strategies we we need to do the 1k to 1 million
challenge and we need to just copy trade you okay yes we need to get ECA on all the launches. We bought $100 and now it's 100K.
I think they should airdrop to some users for sure.
But mainly I think they should airdrop to...
Well, I mean, there's a lot of ways to do
it, but I think they'll do a token.
If they don't do a token, then it'll just mean that they keep charging fees, which is
also fine.
I don't know.
I mean, the thing is they actually have like revenue.
So like they have a lot more options than the average crypto protocol.
Like they can get really creative because they have revenue.
What do you think made them win so hard, Sayuki? Like in terms of Onslaught even itself,
like versus competitors and stuff?
Probably, I honestly, it was just like really good timing for one like um i think there's a lot
of activity being directed at meme coins and like most of it started out even on eth right like you
had all those first eth runners like pepe and mog and stuff and there was like a huge issue with
like these are a bunch of new users not very like tech
savvy and then there's like rugged contracts right like where you buy it's like a honey pot or
whatever and then like solana um the token infrastructure is a little different where you
can't really uh with a regular spl token anyways there's no like way to add additional logic
and so i think that was like a big draw is like, okay, like for one, it's like cheap fees, but like they had a really good
timing and launching a platform where like, you could say like, okay, if this is launched from
pump, then we know it's at least not like a rug and it's going to freeze my, freeze my money.
Like I'll always at least be able to sell for whatever it's worth, even if it's like nothing.
So I think that's really like the main thing is like, they just got main thing. It was really good timing and they got the
attention and then people just came to associate tokens that were on pump with being not rugs.
It's something people started looking for. Yeah, it makes sense.
I mean, now it just seems like you can't really displace them because they have this lore around it,
right? And they have the community around it. No one's fee sensitive enough on any individual
level to be like, I'm going to use a new one with lower fees.
Yeah, exactly. There would have to be an actual 0 to 1 improvement to get people to switch
off and I don't think we've really seen that. There would have to be an actual zero to one improvement to get people to switch off.
And I don't think we've really seen that.
You see the 1% fee in a Telegram bot.
And then my first question is always like, okay, what Telegram bot does not have a 1% fee on every transaction?
And then everyone's like, I don't know.
I just used this one.
I started with it. And I'm sitting out here like, wait, am I just...
Why does nobody else care?
To me, I must find one that has at least just a 0.5% fee
or else I'm going to end my own life, right?
Yeah, it's very fee insensitive
just because of how hard the assets move.
People really prioritize getting filled more than saving half a percent on fees, I think.
Yeah, I think the latency infrastructure matters way more than the fee.
So the good bots know they can charge you a fee because if they get you in the block,
then you're getting a 40% better fill than the next guy so um and then the bots that don't charge that
much they don't they can't get you good fills so it's like yeah see i've actually never had
an issue with the telegram bots like using limit orders on there but i may be the only person who does that
yeah i mean like a lot of them they're trying to like trade the graduation right
like the pump from graduation so there's usually like 50 snipers will try to snipe every graduation
now now it's a bit different because of the pump swap but
yeah like the snipers are supposed to make sure you can get in the block that you
want to get into but i don't know but also i mean even even if you use like a chinese forked telegram
bot it's not like the uh latency infrastructure is different like uh like some of them like they'll
have they'll have their like servers like they'll they They'll have co-location, for instance, like near validators.
Yeah, there is definitely a difference.
The quality of fills you can get from different platforms.
Blazinbot was the only one that I saw that actually ground up, redesigned
the whole thing without using the Telegram bot
source code that's floating around
that like uh you remember you remember the secrets that safi told us about that source code right and
so i've i've just inherently been like kind of spooked of it i mean like the the the bot itself
is basically just the front end right like what really matters like that's differentiable is what
happens when you put the order in like where their servers are at like how they route the trade
through different pools like are they close do they have validators where they're like able to see
uh the blocks in that slot or whatever the transactions in that slot. There's a lot of things you can do to more optimize fills.
How do fills work on Solana versus Ethereum? What is the difference there? Because I have
noticed that when trading any pool, it seems very different in terms of getting a fill just off of an aggregator on either platform.
I wouldn't say it's that different.
It supports a lot of the same things.
You can multi-hop through different liquidity pools, combine them for better fills, things like that.
I haven't really looked too much into Pump's own AMM and how that changes things,
but I would assume they probably just forked radium or something. So,
because everyone seemed to be able to add support for them pretty quickly,
but I mean, it's pretty similar. Like you just route the trade through
all available liquidity to get the best price.
Why? So like Jupiter limit orders were like notoriously, I haven't tried them again recently,
but they were just
notoriously like, you're going to place this order at this price, and then you're going to look at
the chart and you're going to see Wix up and down, and the price might move up above it, but it just
doesn't activate and fill in a way that has never happened to me with limit orders on Ether through
any front end, actually. Is that literally just
latency thing? Is it a size thing? Is it a chart display thing?
I think it's probably a product of... When you do a limit order on cow swap on ETH or use
Jupiter limit orders, just because the pool price drops below your order
doesn't necessarily mean that it's going to route you liquidity. Someone actually has to fill your
trade. Usually it's an arbitrage or something that notices you have an open limit order.
It's sort of like a liquidity thing then.
Well, what I was going to say is I think that there was less there's probably less searchers
on solana like searching for arbitrage opportunities like people have been building
mev infrastructure on eath for years and years right so yeah maybe that's wise because there's
just like less people constantly scanning to make a trade um i don't know otherwise
they i have they have been a little flaky for me as well, though, so I think that's a common sentiment.
But mechanically, how they work, I don't think it's that much different.
Before everyone's... God, it's so dark.
I need this light above me changed.
I need a dark Lucas.
I'm even more Teperq-ish than before.
I don't know what Maestro is.
It's just another Telegram bot.
It's like one of the original
ETH bots, I guess. They're pretty early.
I kind of want to get Safi in one of these streams.
I don't know if he'll pop on on voice.
Have you made your own sliver before, Tugue, or no?
Not particularly, no.
It's not really something i've um done too much i've written some basic like arbitrage bots but not like tried to like snipe new launches or anything like that
it's really it's pretty high stakes you know yeah you on solana you really need like
validator infrastructure to do that properly otherwise Otherwise, you're playing against people that can see the state of the mempool every slot and you can't.
You're just never going to win.
Do you need multiple validators or do you just need your one to have the peek in?
The only people that have access to the information about like which
transactions are in the current slot is the leader so that validator can see the transactions so but
yeah you need like in order to like follow the state of the mempool essentially it's like private
but um you have to have every single validator that picks the slot.
The leader are the ones that can see it.
If you have a network of a bunch of validators,
then you can probably see more slots.
I know there's some dark mempools.
Like private mempools.
Yeah, private mempools where a bunch of validators
will group together and share information with each other.
It's a little bit like gray area but um yeah did you run mev on ethereum as well back in the
day when i was getting into when i was on ethereum i wasn't really like
rating on chain as much i guess like i was like back in like 2017, 2018,
I was just starting to get into code, like writing code.
So not, not really.
MEV is like one of those like black box things that like,
like I understand how it works.
I understand how the infrastructure works,
but by the time I maybe could have done it,
the competition was already like so fierce.
kind of difficult to i didn't think it was worth trying to compete basically
yeah it's insanely high iq insanely high barrier to entry nowadays
well i mean one trend i've noticed with these younger like meme coin sniper kids is that like
a lot of them don't know how to code they just like use ai and stuff yeah like it's almost like the learning curve is is like you know if they're like fully
like ai native kids like they just don't know how anything works but they just somehow make it work
because they you know it's like very like scrappy kind of vibe but um i mean i think you can do a
lot with like uh if you're making a sniper instead of like
winning on latency you can win on like selection of coins and you went on logic yeah you went on
logic and stuff like we back in 3ac non-crypto days we did a lot of foreign exchange and then
we dabbled in hft for a while so we had like bare metal servers in like tokyo new york london we
we did that strategy for maybe two, three years.
And it's like super competitive, you learn.
But at the same time, it's like,
there's logic stuff you can do that's like,
people are not thinking about this,
or not thinking about that.
And there's like stuff, but it's like super competitive.
I think when Memecoins first started,
like it was like a lot of young kids made a lot of money
because they're just like completely fresh
and they just use some code and then they're like okay we do this we do that um but now it's like
yeah back in um the 21 cycle me and some friends had like because like solana nft mints got pretty
popular like at the end of the cycle yeah and so we did have some bots to like
snipe those and stuff like that that did really well because at a certain point you could almost
like mint any garbage that was coming out and sell a few hours later for like a 10 house yeah
like i actually made money off of scattermints back in the day bro like that's insane think
about that and then whereas on like the eath mints it's very expensive to try to snipe um
it's like the only
thing that happens on soul is that your transaction will fail maybe you'll lose like a tenth of a cent
or something so it's like much more like just spam the shit as much as you possibly can get as
many transactions out there as you can and hope some of them land so that was fun but uh probably
the closest i've gotten to like I don't think I would call that
MED, but botting and stuff like that.
I do enjoy manually clicking the buttons, you know? So it's just like not something that ever really appealed to me that much. But Enzo, I think is kind of into algorithmic
Yeah, I'm learning it. So I'm not a button presser.
Yeah, there's two types of people in the world. They love the button or they love
the no buttons.
Yeah. I think they're operating like a slot machine or
something for me you know it's like got a certain yeah yeah i like buttons as well it always
disturbs me to trade without a button really
i used to be a big button guy but i at this point, I like seeing what the little bot collections can do.
Also, the thing is that I'm a lot better at writing rules than I am at following the rules.
So bots just keep following the rules, regardless of what my tattered emotional state may be.
the rules regardless of what
my like tattered emotional state
maybe yeah
what scratches my brain
about like
like auto trading and everything
is I just enjoy the notion of
like numbers just going up automatically
and just like crazy
compound interest and everything
I've been like in my younger
years I was suckered into a lot of
borderline like protogotcha games over it.
Yeah, that was just like how the RuneScape
merging hit us.
Yes, exactly.
Is there like ridiculous coil whine going on?
Yeah, I was just about to say something about that.
Because I muted mine and it didn't stop. and now i'm wondering who else it could be
what does it sound well i think there's just some like feedback rumbo jumbo let's let's just go
through and try muting everyone one by one and seeing yep it just it just instantly stops when I muted Sue.
Wait. Is it better now?
It's coming back now.
I don't know. It's a very eerie noise. It's like the noises that they make EVs play, so they sound like they're like a real car.
I figured there's cicadas.
It's just cicadas, sorry. Cicadas, cicadas.
That's like a Lucas pronunciation, bro. Cicadas?
That's straight up some...
That's straight up some like enchiladas.
Enchiladas.
I took, I took my, my bit about being unable to pronounce words out of my bio yesterday
and I added in effective altruist.
What's the difference?
I, there was a period where I had data scientist in there and I think that got like the funniest
responses from people, but I think effective altruists might actually like, that might, that might be the next tier
in terms of a pissed off people replying to me. Because the funny thing about effective altruism
is that you can actually like, uh, like it would be believable that I could say like,
oh yeah. So like what i believe in is like
grinding all of the humans in africa to paste and then distributing this as as like a food product
to the chinese or something and then someone could say like what's your political philosophy
and then i say effective altruism and they could actually believe that that's real
when they try to argue with you you just like
flip around like okay well what about feeding the chinese to the africans like which is more altruistic
or like you have to like like make make me like a value value free statement about which of these
two populations is higher ev to the world and i i will grind the other one into pay
i will be on board instantaneously
what's the perception of chinese people in africa from the the us and what what what kind of stuff do they show you on media everyone just assumes that you guys are like mega slave masters and
you're like hooking them up hooking them up to like uh shot call collars and arcoflagellating them like it's a Warhammer 40k?
He's not denying it.
What was that video
that went viral recently?
I'm a Singaporean senator.
There's actually a lot of like migration from china to africa to find wives now and i think that's kind of bullish because china has this massive issue of like there's a generation where
they have people had a lot more sons than daughters because it's one child policy so now you have this excess like you call it like like incel overflow of like 50 million to 100
million dudes basically um so africa is the answer i think too many dudes that is kind of a weird
art because in america those are also the two like those are the two
dating demographics that wind up like the most uh the most fucked if you like if you look at the
way that tinder like racial flows go it's like uh the two least matched wind up being asian men
and black women uh so like the idea of like asian incels going to find black wives in china is like
a global example of like uh the tinder arbitrage like playing out again yeah definitely and um
i like i think africa is getting much wealthier much faster actually a lot of people don't quite
realize what's happening but like like rwanda for instance is actually like the singapore of africa right now uh it's like there's a guy who rules it he has like
98 approval rate obviously but you know like they they actually have like great airports and great
infrastructure now like china's built tons of infra in the country so like you can get around much
easier but then i think i think that like they like chinese
probably made a lot of investments that were like i think it was like 100 billion plus like per
like period um so i think in terms of recouping in terms of like investment maybe not easy but
in terms of like soft power they they did a lot um so yeah it remains to be seen i mean the chinese are much better at
assimilation actually than americans are right like they americans have almost never moved to
a new country and then just like stayed there because they're like why would i stay there i'll
just go back eventually right so whereas the jews on the other hand the jews can do this yes the jews can do this
because they're all into like portable assets right um whereas yeah the jewish bitcoin art
you know like gold that kind of stuff so like chinese people actually move to africa and just
like like mass migrate there and then settle it right and like build businesses because as long
as they can make money they don't care where they're doing it from so it's kind of it's kind
of bullish africa long term um like indonesia is three percent chinese but it's 70 of assets are
controlled by chinese so i think africa is going in that direction over time,
but it has to be more subtle.
Like, I think there has to be like,
like they'll have to do a lot of intermixing basically,
because it's all guys going, it's not women going.
So it reminds me a lot of the first Boer Wars, like Afrikaans,
like the first guys go and then they intermarry.
And then, you know so but like you know like the
u.s could never do that like you can never get like millions of american dudes to move to africa
and intermarry black women like that'd just be insane can you even imagine like
it's like the land shark brigade
but african women are actually not that fat, right?
I can show you some propaganda if you want here.
They have these promotional videos on social media
where it's like super hot African girl
and her Chinese husband.
Let me find some.
That's so funny.
I'm just going to Google it.
Super hot African girl and her chinese
well it reminds me of that one mde post of the white guy standing there was just a lot of porn
hub seven inch uh like painted on eyebrows and the caption is just like this is my chinese wife
like yeah this is all just porn it's giving me a little bit too specific one bill one love
add ccp as a tag ccp images oh that made it even worse actually
i haven't i haven't like really browsed porn heavily recently so i'm out of out of meta hard
here every time i refresh the google search it like gets a little bit more tame like it went
from it went from like porn hub a bunch of porn hub results to true story three chinese men and
their beautiful african wives on youtube that sounds like what's who's talking about
yeah it's also funny that they feel the need to
add true story as if this is such like an unbelievable thing that it's like this could
like someone's faking the fact that there's three chinese men that like have african wives
like this is you know there's actually a ton of these now and i think um there's a lot of
africans moving to china china also so there's
like i think it's like 500 000 a year moving to guangzhou and shanghai and places so if you go to
like guangzhou it's like all nigerians now um so the east is fine the east but i think the interesting
thing but i think the interesting thing is like china can assimilate them. Because it's such a...
They all speak Chinese.
They all intermarry.
It just believes in assimilation much more.
But it believes in hierarchical.
It's like when the Manchus invaded during the Ming Dynasty
and then it became the Qing Dynasty.
You think of those people still as Chinese now.
Even though they try to resist it for so long.
The Manchus are essentially kind of like Mongolians
in northeastern China.
They have totally different customs and language.
And within 200 years,
their children became the same as any other Chinese person.
Is that because there's actual consequences
if you don't assimilate?
No, it's because of
it believes in his culture as the high culture.
It believes that even if you started from
the outskirts, you come
into the high. It's kind of like the Romans.
The middle kingdom. If you conquer
Rome, you will just become Roman, so it doesn't
even matter. Then we will assimilate your
genes to our gene pool. Anyways, it's probably better for our gene well now that you're in
yeah you know it's an idea that like all like empires eventually converge on like rome called
they call it the pax romana china has always referred to itself as the middle kingdom yeah
um and and there was a wave of like reactionary manchu where they were like okay we have to stop
acting like you know like han chinese we have to like stop sleeping on these comfortable beds we just
start sleeping back in like the horse sheds and stuff like the stables and whatever but it didn't
work because like because the high china culture is more is more comfortable you got silk everywhere
you've got like concubines everywhere then they're like okay we'll just do that now like we don't
need to do the hard life anymore so i think it's like, they just hardcore believe in assimilation. They're like,
our food is better, our girls are better, our language is better, everything is better.
So within 2DNN, you won't remember the old anyways. Or you won't want the old. You can still
remember it, but you can't resist, basically. Gotcha.
That makes sense.
Because a lot of African culture is similar to Chinese culture, right? It's very family-oriented.
It's agriculture-oriented.
It's like, what do they do for fun?
It's like, celebrate some holidays and play some cards or something.
So, yeah, it's interesting.
Retardio doesn't actually look that bad retardio bounced pretty decent off of this
it's like it doesn't look that bad and then you keep scrolling out more and more and it's like
there is a lot there is a lot going in there that i didn't necessarily see, but I don't know.
Do you think it's possible that America could ever do the Chinese strategy of assimilation?
Because America is too comfortable.
It's too wealthy.
Ask the question, why don't homeless Americans just go to Latin America or something?
Or go to some other place? Be a passport bro. I mean, they're starting to do it now, but, um, I was going to say like, people actually are figuring out that like, uh, there is like a better standard of life
with $2 elsewhere. Uh, that's true. That's true. That's true. I think, I think largely a lot of it
comes down to the fact that homeless people in america are simply not homeless people in any other country like they are they are like psychopaths usually like extremely mentally ill
yeah and so they're like they're the type of person where like an agentic act like moving
actually becomes damn near impossible like if you look at the uh if you look at like the average uh
moves like how how far do you live from the place that you grew up among the homeless in America?
It's extremely, extremely small versus other countries.
Other countries will have homeless nomads.
And the US will have homeless guy who lives on the same exact alley that his homeless dad lived in that his homeless grandfather grew
up in or something it's very strange they're like literally living within like a three mile radius
of where they were born yeah like in in general i i think americans like to go home after some
period of time maybe it's like 5 10 15 years whereas i i think that for chinese it's been
more it's been a little bit different because you have like like dynasty overthrows so then you have
like people like just move to whole continents right like the like the like south america has
tons of chinese people too for that reason because of that like because china was just so poor for
so long that you had to like leave to like get somewhere
better whereas i think america would have to get really poor for a lot of americans to leave
in mass like yeah you have like digital nomads leave but they're almost doing like a grand tour
and they come back right yeah yeah it's like the mormon thing where you go you go on a tour of the
rest of the world just to see what america would have to have like your mission yeah if america
had like famine then that would happen like like potato famines and then boom everyone's going to corn famines corn famines but barring that i don't
think it's in the nature because it's like it's monolingual country plus like relatively
nationalistic like why would you go to like africa to like live there right that's why like i respect
a lot when americans do that i think the only place that they do that now is japan because of anime and so like you do have like a lot of americans moving
to japan now and assimilating um because i think they view it as a culture sophisticated enough
and deep enough that they want to integrate into it whereas like if they go to like some other
country that they're like i wouldn't want to integrate like i don't want to learn these
customs i don't want to learn this language i don don't want to intermarry. Whereas Japan, at least tens of thousands of
Americans have moved there and intermarried and fully assimilated. I have an American friend. He
changed his name to a Japanese name and he got citizenships uh as well he speaks to like natively but then he left anyway
because of taxes which i find hilarious that's the most american thing of all one of the most
og devs in crypto yeah i won't dox them but yeah it's just hilarious i think
it's like that video of the guy who's like it's like the white guy in like the kimono with like
the sword walking and speaking
like exactly like a japanese man would and you see it in your brain just like your brain almost
says like this has to be ai dude this has to be fucking ai yeah i think there's something about
japanese that really speaks to like semi-autist like computer devs because the japanese language
is very is very easy to learn if you're a developer, if you're autistic, because everything is like the rules are actually very clean.
There's no there's no exceptions to anything.
And also, like the way you express emotion in Japanese is also more like you use
the words to express emotion as opposed to the tone as much.
So it's like you can just use more if you want to say what you want to say,
just use more if you want to say what you want to say just use more words basically and so what do you think about like uh like the u.s incel brigade going and
doing passport broism to spread uh the american seed of values it's it's a the eternal incel divide is gonna mostly dictate
the way that story uh turns out between like the noble incel who just rejects it on principle and
then basically just the the normal guy who can't get laid yeah the normal guy who can't get laid
um the latter they'll uh it's it's a i think they're actually like picking it the only thing
that actually stops the latter from doing it is cost.
So like if it's somehow prohibitively expensive and cultural perception,
it's like, if he has not, not even cultural perception,
but just if it's sufficiently censured,
then then he'll like defer to it and just immediately assume or think too
poorly of himself doing it to even do it in the first place.
Basically that's like the number one thing. Cause like, it's like what you were going back to before where you said that
like the incels on the internet were sort of like the canary in the coal mine in terms of like
the guys who were like complaining about the things that incels what the incels complaining
about the traditional insult complaints uh they seemed like few and far between like 20 years ago
and now at this point it's actually the same exact complaints as like the average zoomer dating has yeah uh and like i've
actually noticed the same thing with like passport bros like they used to be uh like used to be like
a freak sex pervert yeah yeah yeah like the mig tao people and i'm noticing that more and more
like normie guys are sort of like, yeah,
why not? Like, uh, what's the, what's give me the pitch for why this is a bad idea.
Yeah. It's also, you can tell that it's, um, it's gotten more accepted as well because it's not so,
uh, it's not so specialized now. Like there's been a lot, there's been a lot more, um,
work actually done into like feeling out like the total territory of like potential like
passport broism. Uh, like, and there's now like uh debates within the faction like oh no you should
go to the you should go to eastern europe no you should go to asia and you should go here in asia
no like no have you ever gone to columbia have you ever gotten your head cut off in columbia before
um that kind of thing so like there's now uh it there's enough people that are into it that
there's like more ideas. There's like
more diversity of thought in the, in the space.
And the other, the other metric that I use to judge like the cultural prevalence of a
thing is like when, when somebody is shamed for being part of a group at first, when the
group is small enough, they will instead reply with like sort of a whiny justification of
why they're doing the thing and like why it's a good idea given X, Y, Z. And at some point it reaches enough cultural
like, uh, like prevalence that the people instead start responding and saying like, uh, no, fuck
you. It's cool. Right. And like, that's actually kind of where like the passport bros are at now.
Like when someone's like, Oh, like you're a a gay bitch you have to go leave the country just to get laid uh they just respond with like yeah lmao you're
blown out or something uh that's yeah you're you're owned like you wish you could be doing
like you should or even like being like my favorite i've seen is the guys who uh kind of play like the
old uncle like old like uh like dad routine they're like i listen
listen sonny i know that you don't i know that you're like young and you don't understand the
world yet but you'll come or you'll come around in my way of thinking eventually yeah listen to
your dad listen to your dad and go to thailand that's i mean it's usually been like the other way that i've seen it's like you have the uh
oh you just don't understand women well enough so you'll uh do x y and it's like if you're
gonna be real like i think probably like 80 to 90 percent of either gender will just never
understand the other gender that well so like i think it is a fallacy to say like when you
understand x well enough right because it like, they probably just won't. Yeah. There's frankly
too many things, uh, too many better things to think about for like 99% of people than like
knowing the ins and outs of the opposite sex, basically it did like that, that degree.
And there's also a degree to which also like understanding the opposite sex
too well like actually like kind of i don't know if i don't know if it's a there's a causal link
in this sense i think maybe it's more uh it depends on your level of androgyny like it's
your high enough androgyny and you understand them well enough then it's like it doesn't make
you that mad because you feel the same impulses within yourself to some degree. But if you're extremely high masculinity but low femininity or vice versa,
and you get to the point of systematically understanding the opposite gender,
it just winds up making you hate the shit out of them.
I definitely have noticed that uptake in aggression,
the shilling of the Passport Bros, though.
Yeah. Yeah, they're forming like they're in the right or something online yeah it's it's it's just a metagame thing it's like you you have like uh like any like any
game any market you know there's people will be uh kind of negotiating between themselves like
different ways to play it different ways to accrue alpha whatever um and uh
just you can you can infer like the underlying dynamics that are governing the market or the game
or whatever just based on the strategies that people are preferring um and the passport bro
thing is kind of kind of taking off honestly um i think on one hand it is because like there's also
like another reason for it um just beyond like you know the nominal like state of gender gender
sex relations or whatever in the west um and i think more generally it's uh because of the fact
that we're sort of like sufficiently far enough into uh call it like the internet age that people
are taking it at face value and like they're like oh yeah there like is no difference or there is
nothing weird about like uh about like uh like uh meeting someone
who like lives halfway across the uh halfway across the world because they do it all the time
um on whatever game or social network that they happen to uh frequent so why not just like do it
in person and you know just go from there it doesn't seem so alien a prospect anymore
all right i found some good tick tocks guys You can take a look and post them in the private chat.
We're all tossing them in the...
Oh, here we go.
So this is like African wife in a Chinese chinese city like day in the life kind of thing
this is so funny
is so funny
listen Listen. so
so i think this video is like trying to show chinese guys like hey look african wives can also
like clean up the house
who is like actually putting this content out is my question like where is the chinese communist party
i mean it does change the way you perceive an african wife now right
after having seen this just a little bit i the thing
is the blurb in the upper left is so funny actually it actually seemed like such a ridiculous blatant
like i mean part of it you told me it was propaganda before watching it so now it's like
my brain already is like oh like reject any messaging therein it's all fake it's it's a
chinese scam but like uh i think even if i hadn't seen that, it seems so out of line with what I would assume
to be the described relationship or dynamic that my brain is like...
The Overton window is too far.
My brain cannot accept what it just saw as being modal in any way.
I think it's very powerful though like
i think here let me send you a couple others this is with like the chinese guy in it but i think
this is kind of all it takes right because i think in the west you have this idea of the african girl
as like a land shark like a but but i think like if you show like African women, then it solves everything.
When I said the Landshark Brigade, there's a poster on Twitter called Landshark Rides,
who's a notorious, soft-hearted white nationalist.
White nationalist might not be out of it.
A nationalist?
He's a something.
Yeah, but he's a Bulgarian guy not be a nationalist. He's a something. Yeah. He's a,
but he's a Bulgarian guy who has like a famous private account who is like,
he had a period where he would always post about how beautiful he finds
African women to be.
And everyone was just like used because like he lives in a place where it's
He's ever,
never actually seen an African woman.
And the only ones he's seen have probably been like yeah
uh like american uh american style i guess uh
but the main resentment in africa now is like a lot of african guys are mad that like chinese
guys are taking the like the like the skinny women basically so that's like the big backlash
they have in a few countries um this is the new market like truly the dating market
This is the new market. Truly, the dating market is all that's left.
We're going to defy. We're going to have decentralized marriage protocols. We're going
to have flash loans on wives. We'll call them girlfriend.
It's like on-chain auctions for African wives yeah this I mean the ones in this video like
this actually seems sort of like a soap opera like it seems like one of those goofy Indian
soap operas when you look at the people
like both of these are two like outlier for what I would expect for their like
respective populations it seems like a K drama.
Like you have like Ariana Grande and then like, uh,
like this Asian guy has like one of the sharpest jaws of all time.
Like I was sitting there like, Oh my God.
This is like truly.
There's new points on the tech tree.
Yeah. Like study CRISPR. god this is like truly yeah there's new points on the tech tree yeah like study crisper yeah i'm very bullish africa
check out jerry a davis's last comment it's a bunch of dudes get some chicks on the vlog this is a vlog are we
vlogging guys yeah on the vlog a vlog collage that's actually a friend of mine where the
fuck is everyone well where the fuck is everyone is it's like Sunday night.
This is actually like not.
So the Ethereum usage chart actually lines up pretty well to the Twitter activity chart. The best time to push like an Ethereum transaction through is Sunday night because no one's there.
It's actually the same thing with like Twitter.
There's damn near nobody on the fucking website right now.
Monday morning, everybody comes back.
Everyone logs on hard.
Do they do it from work, you think, or they do it from home?
Like what, school?
I think it starts off as soon as their day starts
because the activities start rising as soon as EST guys get up.
And then I think they stay posting for the commute into work.
And then I think the first hour or two of the day is
just twitter right if i had to guess right it's not like i've ever done that thing where i
consistently burned the first two hours of every monday tweeting yeah i don't know. The same exact number of people are using Ethereum as I've always used Ethereum
is what I learned recently. Maybe nobody, maybe many people, depending on how much Ethereum
you're holding. You've heard about stable coins. What about stable protocols?
What about stable protocols?
Well, I mean, it's like, it's just like hard to shill.
This is like the stable protocol, right?
Like, like it is stable, but it's stable as in,
if you chart this, it's just Y equals negative X, right?
Actually, you know what? You gonna do i'm gonna take out and take out this pen
what sort of what sort of indicators do you think we can fit to this
Hmm, probably not this one.
I check him again.
Okay, I'm going to try it from the very top.
The inverse modified shift pitchfork okay let's see if we can time wait oh shit
okay we start one here we're about to figure out ethereum
let's see if we can time it to yeah it, it doesn't really work for this one, it's looking like.
Okay, well, on to the next one.
There's always an indicator for this.
The modified shift pitchfork.
So this thing...
Oh, yeah, there was a line this...
Wait, I fucked it up again wait
how do you use these Sue like what
I don't use these I don't know what you've never used I just thought pitchfork I just like how you
ran a punt but the fibs these are so epic fib speed bumps okay that one was a failure let's try uh okay
so here. And then we...
Oh, this one kind of works, actually.
Maybe I have to keep pulling it out more.
Yeah, this kind of tells you something.
Like, the start...
Oh, I fucked it up.
Oh, Jesus.
It keeps telling me that it's placed the indicator
and it hasn't.
What do we have here?
The ghost feed.
We're really underutilizing the markdown
often. We can write so much funny
shit on these charts.
What is...
What the fuck is this? why would this ever be necessary
oh these are good these are quite good the elliott triangle wave the elliott triple combo wave
elliot triangle wave the elliot triple combo wave okay so the first elliot impulse here when we did
this we did this this oh i fucked up yeah the perfect elliot wave distribution pattern
elliot has made his determination.
You're fucked.
Well, I mean, the question is, which Elliot is it, right?
Is it Elliot Rogers or is it a different Elliot?
Because that really matters.
Elliot Rogers is short Ethereum.
He's very bearish.
where's the uh
oh this one sometimes works
this one sometimes works
yeah uh okay well they have to find a shape that rolls over those bumps
seamless i mean this this does no no no like uh okay it it has some misses it has some misses
but generally like if you time it to like one of the big moves on a high enough time frame it will usually correspond with other
big moves in some way uh and then sometimes it doesn't but that's okay because it doesn't need
to always be right uh but like here it did uh here it did uh it did not here unfortunately
uh it did not hear unfortunately um and it missed this this is a miss maybe this is kind of right
kind of right i don't know if i'd call this technical analysis staffing no no no no you don't
listen dude
it's like i think like the technical analysis kind of percolates upward, percolates upward out of the mashing together of the various shapes.
We begin to form a picture.
The only way that anyone actually draws anything that matters in crypto,
I think is like,
it's either a diagonal line or three arrows.
One might say definitely more partial to the straight like the horizontal lines myself yeah no nico started doing
the uh the diagonal lines and his lines were actually pretty good uh at some point i was i was fairly impressed
and i tried using them myself and then it uh didn't work anywhere near as well as it did for nico but
i kind of feel like um diagonal lines or are you more of a straight line guy yourself
i'm straight i think the reason like some people are better at this stuff than others is
because some people actually have the ability to like tell the future to a degree like a few percent
of people it's like lucas's thing with art school yeah like it's like you can you can point to whatever the tool is that the people who
are really good at ta you are doing and it's like it probably doesn't matter they might just be
wizards like yeah it's just like a like future site or premonition or something yeah mega pattern
recognition precognition pattern precognition i should start adding in more lines
on the ether chart though honestly
like this is clearly
let me do the fucking horizontal line
this is clearly a level
god it's so much lower than all
of my literal bear market
levels God, it's so much lower than all of my literal bear market levels.
Oh my God.
This is the new range.
I don't know if that's level.
No, I'm bullish.
It's going up from here.
No, I think this is pretty clearly a level actually.
There's a lot of candles closing in this area like this this whole thing candles closing in the area candles closing here candles closed here on the top side it might be like uh i need a little bit of
adjustment up that looks more like a level why are we comfortable calling it a level exactly like
what what are we uh what are we gleaning from that category?
It's literally just when candles close there.
Or maybe when wicks go there because a wick is just a candle on a different time frame.
I would say.
When price reversals occur there.
I mean, it doesn't even necessarily have to be like a reversal there's many times where like
i mean for like bitcoin you kind of have to like make up levels uh at this point right
like so you're like well this you're like okay well i guess this daily chart close here might
be a level just because there's nothing else in this fucking area or maybe you would say well oh
but this is 50 of the move on a Fibonacci extension.
So that's why it's a level, right?
But you literally just need to make up a reason why it's here because it is here.
It is here.
And if you believe that it's here for a reason, you have to make up the reason because we
don't really have any.
like i mean you can look at the historical bitcoin chart and like
it's never it's never been supported by this it's never had a resistance here before uh
it just now is deciding that this is an important area for it to be
so it's almost like the bitcoin price is debunking technical analysis to such an extent that you need
to like uh you need to start relying on things like fibonacci extensions just to make it make
sense right this is why i'm just like a intuition-based trader completely yeah it's all i go
off of i mean i am like a totally intuition based trader, but I must justify it with
something right. Levels in this case. I'm like really good at gaslighting myself
into believing anything. So. This is like a really funny tab to have open the interracial
Chinese and black relay, and then you can't see the rest like but
then you see it's like if someone just pops into the stream now and they're unfamiliar with what
we've been doing they're gonna be like are they like reviewing interracial porn why is it chinese
and black woman like what is yeah i did think it was funny that first one they had the title like Asian male, black female, or was it the other way around?
It's like a new acronym I've never even heard of.
What is this?
This is a fairly long TikTok.
What is he giving her?
I'm worried
she might lose it and then on the plane
she won't understand and she might lose it
The Foyd travel experience.
I'm wrecked. What the fuck? Why is Lucas using a sniper scope to do technical analysis?
TA is fake. Dude, I don't know. TA, it's very real.
Have you seen my quant?
Just because Safi makes $10 million a month more than I do,
doesn't mean that my approach to markets is any less
valid than his. Lucas, stop doing astrology. Our viewers are furious. They're like, Lucas.
Did you guys know, just for the record, I was using therosoft surface pro 11's built-in pen to do all that technical
analysis uh and the reason that i kept fucking it up is because it has such like a strong surface
like screen indicator that even like an inch away from the screen it thinks you're touching it such
as the power of the surface pro which one do you guys think is the abusive one out of the two
the black or chinese the black female
yes yes we can trench saffy i've been trying to get you to
trench with us forever sue come back saffy's responding again okay well do i have to like
okay safi what chain are we starting trenching on
are we doing bsc are we gonna go the bsc trenches
he went to whole foods whole foods chain
whole foods coin it's Fool's, by the way.
Actually, it's not April Fool's
in the US, so it won't be until tomorrow
that I can start ending everything with April Fool's.
It's not April Fool's tomorrow.
You guys are already so April Fool's
Like April Fool's.
Happy fucking April Fool's.
It's actually my birthday tomorrow.
I need somebody else to,
I need somebody else to be running the sniper on stream here because like,
I can't copy and paste these CAs fast enough.
And like me doing the thing of trying to AI translate,
convert his message and then extract a CA on top of my already
shitty sniping abilities is going to result in like a seven minute
latency on like CA being sent and by.
I'll put it in.
I'll put it in telegram.
Lil Grok. This already pumped dude it's at like 50k
already trying to get us to buy the power
50k is already
pumping we invite sappy on
to treasure this and he just scams us
exit liquidity
this chart is so funny.
What do we use? I need to know
what's the chain?
We should use Blazinbot, actually.
Fuck it. We're going to use Blazinbot.
So this one is
Let me see.
Damn, you're right about sunday though what just about the zero uh zero activity yeah yeah no like weekends are actually uh i mean the
whole like usage thing users activity it doesn't really matter that much on twitter
but like uh you do at some point notice that like everything you do on a weekend is basically
irrelevant like i had a i had a couple tweets that went to like five or ten k uh like yesterday and
i was like euphoric because like hitting five to ten k on a weekend is like, uh, it's like Epic hard mode. So I'm just sitting there like
jerking myself off. Uh, but like if I was a more, um, I was a more like clout grubber person,
I would have saved those tweets until like Monday morning to then post them at peak activity hours to instead juice them what is what is peak activity hours
uh they like weekday mornings and then weekdays when people get after work when people get off
work or they're on lunch that's also good lunch isn't as strong because like uh every time zone
has like a different lunch hour so you're like you're dealing with a three-hour period of like
lightly increased activity there and then like when everyone gets off of work they log on
they go watch netflix and goon and uh get on twitter makes sense yeah
fuck i need an access code for blazing bot v2
it's just blazed it should be auto filled for you
is it really yes
No, it isn't.
Why did you do this?
Why did I fall for this?
Why would you know?
Like nothing about this situation.
Like this was just like a full fledged show of retardation on my heart.
Like go and like refresh the blazing bot like V2 access thing.
Wait, are you being serious? I'm completely serious. It should just be auto filled blazed. refresh the BlazingBot like V2 access thing.
Wait, are you being serious?
I'm completely serious. It should just be auto-filled Blazed.
Oh, Blazed?
Yeah, B-L-A-Z-E-D.
How do you know that?
Because I've done this.
You used BlazingBot?
Very, very recently.
As in within the last three days my access code doesn't work what the fuck i'm i'm friends with the guys who made this i'll dm them and ask uh
for the code i'll tell them we're going to use it on stream to run up one million dollars on bsc
promoting them every step of the way i actually really do like the blazing
bot team uh they they like spent a lot of fucking time to like rebuild all of the things because
like they were suspicious of uh some built-ins on the other bots that i think they were right
to be suspicious of it is an it is an impressive product i'm'm already, uh, already liking it. How did you find it?
I was just doing research for,
other like implementations of,
algo trading and shit like that.
It's not exactly algo trading,
but I was just curious how people are still doing it,
automatically.
And I was especially interested in blazing bot because it's
connected to so many chains.
And they have, they, I mean, they really did good on the on the like,
their their security is good, basically, like they have. Yeah, they have a much better handling
of custody than most of the other bots that I've seen. And honestly, blazing bot like,
well, it may not be like my favorite name name i think it's like probably the best of the
bot names because the rest are all like uh like bonk bot like fuck you dude uh i'm working on one
called henry like it's like i don't want to be using something called trojan like i'm trojan
forcing myself by actually moving any capital to the managed wallets on this bot, right? It feels for, yeah, like you're used, like literal, like Zogbot.
Sheldon Edelman bot.
Let me DM these guys.
I think I'm still VPNed actually.
That's amazing. Oh dude, did you see, did you see this thing? Can anyone can anyone hear me yeah i'm i'm watching the yankees made new bats blah blah i'm not a baseball guy like uh i have never watched baseball i think in my life but like look at this
they did something here bro she's uh she's looking curvy. They circumcised that bat. Yeah. Like,
I think I was sort of like, my assumption was that bats were such a standardized thing that
like the actual shape itself had to be predetermined by some sort of rules or regulations.
Right. Uh, it never occurred to me that you could actually redistribute the weight,
but like, I'm wondering if what happened here, wasn't that like in the OG baseball days, they preferred
having like a wider section because it would allow like, uh, it's like when you're making
a tennis racket, right?
You want to make, you want to make like a bigger sweet spot if you have someone who
hits the sweet spot less.
So when you're making like a tennis racket for like a grandma, you have like this
enormous sweet spot. That's like the entire racket size, but it's like hitting the sweet spot.
Isn't that good, right? It doesn't actually like launch it as well as it would otherwise.
But when you're making a racket for someone who like really consistently hits the same part of
the racket every time you can make the sweet spot really like small and concentrate like all of the boinging energy in it and like maybe that's what
happened with baseball bats too where like they realize that players now have such like an optimized
swing that if they're going to make contact with the ball it's always going to be in this area so
they might as well stiffen the fuck up out of this area he's got a real classic classic
swing ball pops off his bat i see i watch money ball so i'm an expert with baseball like i know
everything about it now and uh my expert intuition of baseball tells me that like it's been historically
like very uh very superstitious and everything yeah Yeah. I'm sure that
in the before times,
before the new generation of the curvy
circumcision bat, it was just like,
oh, bro, the balance
is how thick the bat is.
The bigger cross-sectional area
is if they would use that as if they would say
cross-sectional area of the bat.
I mean, they'd say the girth.
They definitely say the girth. Theal area of the bat you know i mean they'd say the girth of the bat you
know a bunch of like like a shoot like uh like dipping talent scouts so like the yankees or like
the oakland a's or whatever talking about the cross-sectional area of the bats the cross-sectional
girth like you get like some like some fat billionaire uh team owner coming up and saying like uh
we need to we need you boys are looking girthed out you're looking girthed out we need we need
the team owners like we need bats that look like my penis i mean check the girth on this thing
call like this this simply is like uh i mean just looking at it right it's like it's obviously optimized
to have stiffness in a certain place like you're you're putting like you've changed the whole mass
distribution very obviously uh and people were saying well I don't understand why they need to
be um uh radially radially symmetrical because you you're always going to be holding it in a
particular way and trying to like like swipe in a particular uh like trying to swipe along uh or
swing along a particular arc so like why not optimize it in that direction too like why not
make it more of like a hammer profile not necessarily like with uh like a team that
you're supposed to strike the ball with oh yeah yeah yeah, yeah, yeah. Where you have a tapered back airfoil.
Yeah, exactly.
So that it's even more aero.
I would be really surprised if they didn't have a rule that it has to be round.
Yeah, that's what I was going to say.
I assume that they say somewhere that it has to be a round profile.
Last chat, you can see what you do.
I am kind of curious why they chose to stiffen the section
like not at the very end of the bat though because like because the end of the bat isn't where like
the way the way that like uh according to these things work if you hit at the end of the bat it's
very like uh that's that's not the spot. Basically the sweet spot will almost never be at the end.
unless you design something like really goofy,
like you have like a metal sledgehammer or something.
It's like,
it's hard to get the weight distribution far enough out to the end of
something that is like a consistent material density that you're going to
have the sweet spot be there.
It's interesting though,
because like when you swing a bat,
the end of it is the one is like clearly moving the fastest. Right fastest right so like wouldn't it make sense to hit out as far as possible
i don't know this is a thing with tennis rackets too where like if you hit you would think that
if you hit like uh further out your lever arm is like like just the whippier that the bat the bat
profile is going to be so like uh depending upon the harmonics of the bat and
actually the more i think about them uh the less it makes sense to me like you can like just
engineer the harmonics of the bat you you can't really do that much when you're using wood and
it's like structurally sort of weak and not that uh wow oh my my God. This is amazing. So I randomly searched tennis rackets and second,
second result, 2013 Aero Pro Drive. Get fucked haters. This is genuinely, this is the best
tennis racket of all time. This is, I have like a 12 of these from when I used to be sponsored.
This was the actual racket that I used for my entire junior year career.
They tried to get me to switch to the pure arrow, and I just said no.
This is too good.
So if you're hitting the ball like up here, or even up here,
like this is like really high on the sweet spot on this particular racket such that like if you hit down here, it will usually go like much faster and feel much better than if you hit like –
I mean, that makes sense to me because it's like a net that's under tension.
That doesn't really have the same characteristics as a wood bat i don't know
the the string sliding does introduce like weird dynamics but like it is sort of still uh there is
sort of still the same like dynamic of like flexion um because in order to launch and i guess a lot of
it is predictability also like the closer that you get out to the end of the thing the more likely
you are to have like a random uncontrollable launch uh i mean partially because you can frame
it and then god knows where the it's going uh but also partially because like
the profile of the racket like it bends when you hit it like if you look at like
if this ever loads through my vpn here
oh it's whipping oh it's too it's too fucking is there a way that i can slow that down even more
i think it's just like not enough frames per second, really.
Yeah, that's what I was wondering.
I'm wondering if it's not accurate.
There's no auxiliary frames.
It's cooked.
Okay, you can kind of see it there.
The important thing is they bend a lot more than you'd fucking imagine.
And I imagine a similar thing happens with baseball bats also.
Because tennis rackets are obviously thin, light, carbon fiber.
They're under a lot of tension themselves.
They're actually under thousands of pounds of tension because of the cross.
If you pull every string at 50 or 60 pounds, and then there's 18 cross strings or something,
19 on this particular
racket i believe uh that's just a lot of force but uh in a baseball bat or you you you're hitting
something that's going like uh really fucking fast and it's also pretty like heavy compared
to a tennis ball right and uh pull up a pull up a slow motion baseball next let's compare it
it's crazy too because
baseballs are built with like a huge amount of compressibility into them
but uh the stream is sponsored by microsoft bing by the way not on the scale of the bets
i love copilot i love microsoft i love windows 11
i don't know if that's really giving us like because it's not like
these are like total grug like sports ball guys who don't understand like what slow motion is
okay here we go oh they got the tech whiz on this one
it's crazy what this kid can do with computers i mean it's yeah it's pretty big
the bat doesn't really move a whole lot the ball really flexes a lot well like this is also like
this is not a professional baseball player hitting a ball that's 100 mile an hour fastball this is a
random guy swinging a bat at a stationary ball so like i imagine if this ball is going 100 miles
per hour uh i'm pretty sure that one was moving. This one, this one's definitely moving. Like,
uh, like if you look at the axis of the bat, uh, that head is like way fucking out of line.
Yeah. It's definitely whipping a little bit yeah yeah i don't know a lot of it might also be like uh what is going to give everyone like
carpal tunnel instantly when they use it right, like, there are tennis rackets.
I mean, this one in particular
actually is a little bit notorious for,
like, although the generation before
it was much worse for it, but just giving everyone
tennis elbow because, like, it's such a vibrate-y
fucker that, like,
you're holding it and after every, you know,
as it's oscillating when you hit it, you just
feel like, ah, fuck. It's like I'm holding on
to, like, a vibrator.
It's like hopping off of a four-cylinder bike or something your arms yeah
so i don't know i think that's kind of cool like i'm a big fan of the fact that we managed to like make an iteration on uh on something that's been around for so fucking long
and honestly like it doesn't look awful like normally if you were to like uh optimize something
and make it all like uh you know like you're doing your fucking uh cfd and you pull out the model and
it tells you this is the optimal shape for this member it usually makes it look much much much
worse um this looks fine.
Yeah, they just moved the mass a little bit down in the bat.
Yeah, it looks like a bowling pin.
It's like a bowling pin.
Whatever engineer made this is probably going to make a lot of money.
Oh, someone made a lot of money off of this, right?
Because it's like, I believe this is their Twitter.
Let me check. Okay, well, whatever I'm doing to check is like confusing you more than I would just
say it's probably the thing.
Let me see what I have bookmarked in my other tab here. It
is web.blazingapp.com. They've taken out Blazing Bot now.
It looks like it is. Yeah. That's the correct app. You're following it. This is like a really funny crypto quirk, right? Is like the difficulty with which you have finding
legitimate protocols. This is an actual thing that has actual users and is an actual product.
Yet, if I were to search BlazingB, I'm going to find like 32 scam companies
before I find this. And then if I go on Twitter and I search for the name of the bot, I actually
find like 32 like coin launches and scams before I find the actual thing. Like if you do not have
an account on crypto Twitter with like at least like 500 mutuals that generally follow somewhat relevant upcoming things,
you're just totally fucked. You're gigafucked, man.
Yeah. We actually, at the Incinerator, we run into this a lot where
people actually set up Google ads for Soul Inc incinerator whatever and pointing people to like drainers
yeah and they just you just get like phishing link seo log people like googling for us and
then they just get as you actually don't know anything about seo like this is i literally also
get paranoid even like going to a platform i haven't used in a while like like i have almost
everything bookmarked but i mean i've been doing this shit for years and i still get freaked out like trying to find everyone everyone updates or
rebrands or pivots so much that like uh you you wind up with the same situation you have with my
like 9-11 truther bookmark folder where like two-thirds of your links just don't work anymore
right yeah like uh that actually just happened to me with wormhole they completely
killed their like wormhole bridge.com uh domain name now it's just like portal it's like oh awesome
i gotta go find the real one yeah and then it's like you're now now at this point you're like
weighing like is it even worth like is it even worth me trying to collect the Kaido airdrop?
Or is whatever I make from the airdrop going to be higher EV than the negative EV of the very likely chance that I just fishing link myself?
Yeah, it actually is a huge problem.
huge problem and then ecosystems don't actually like uh like you have an ecosystem like infrastructure
page for like every l1 right but they're actually usually not that maintained like they're very out
of uh they're very out of meta i think actually abstract had seems to have a pretty good one
i know abstract i think has done very well i need to learn what i'm supposed to be doing because i'm like i'm now posting these streams every day
to abstract but like uh i don't even know if anyone's viewing them off of abstract
or like what's going on there kind of seems to have like under underperformed expectations i mean crypto streaming is already sort of a hard thing but like
uh at some point at some point my main hope with crypto streaming was that it was going to work
because uh you're just going to have someone who says like yeah like as long as you like don't like
do child porn or like rape somebody on stream like uh it's allowed right like i don't care if
you make like a joke about how you called i don't care if you make like a
joke about how you called someone a bitch or if you like punch someone in the face like just don't
do like explicitly illegal things right you can even punch them in the face as long as they don't
press charges i think the main issue with streaming is it's like very expensive to maintain info for.
It's like world historically, like not easy to have.
I mean, anything that you have like high user, like, I mean, streaming is literally like
the highest throughput activity that you can really do with the web right now.
And then like, I mean, pump could have probably done it pretty well but everyone got really
i don't know i don't know i think people still like um like i mean you can see as much as you
want about the fact that like pump made a lot of money but at some point i mean i'm not saying that
but like they um no no no i'm not saying that you are but i think the market oh you're saying
that they got hate for it yeah they actually got
so much hate for their streaming part of the token thing that they took it off they like removed the
feature yeah because people were like doing i don't know like there was like some snuff video
stuff going on and yeah there was a lot of gunner shit where you would have like some indian man
looping like a gunner video of some girl who recorded it for 90 minutes.
Just saying, oh my god, this is my first masturbating bathtub token launch.
Thanks for joining me.
Where can I buy what chain is going?
This feels so good.
Dude, we should do that also.
I can't stop thinking about masturbating bathtub coin
no like i'm pretty sure that if you uh you you give us like a foid filter we could have a really
funny race to see who does like the best like uh the best gunner stream
i think even if it's a lot of outfitting from like the follower disadvantage, like a six
to one ratio follower disadvantage, I think I can still get more followers on my bathtub
gunner stream than Sue can.
There's so much untapped EV and pretending to be masturbating women on the internet
dude there's so much like that woman lucas account that i had where it's like uh i was just like
speed running 10k uh and i managed to do it in like 50 tweets jesus dude like that taught me so
much about uh like just how much easier it to be yeah you'll find uh it's i mean it's a
story on like right wing twitter it's like some new like dumb bitch account appears and you're
like oh wow another dumb bitch you see it again in like a week and has like 5k followers yeah
yeah like uh the farming like right-wing twitter for like engagement meta uh it's it's
just too easy actually at this point like they've made it far too easy that that also that like fat
new girl that came out where they're like oh like i'm holding trump accountable by like talking i'm
more nationalist than trump is or something like Sarah stock.
That one, uh, that one was the first time that I've looked at like one of these new
influencer girls and been like, this one was actually substantially like less attractive
than the last one, which, uh, that's, that's sort of like a community top signal there.
It's like when your generations of kids start getting fatter
instead of skinnier when they start getting shorter instead of taller lower iq lower net worth like uh
all of these things are sort of like uh pretty leading indicators to what's to come
i'm pretty sure she's a plant as well it's another thing with like a lot of these uh
e-girls they're all like plants to one degree or another i mean the thing with plants
is that everyone assumes it's like oh this is a person who's been like explicitly coached to do
like xyz things usually it's a person who because of their own conceits just happens to be retarded
enough and then they get yes and effectively be like mentally massaged into being like an agent or a plant right like uh it's probably one of the best stories and uh serial
killers and everything like the whole yeah like it's one i think a lot of these uh these agent
types are literally people who like like the example uh that i was given is of this Russian couple that throws parties for a bunch of engineers in the US. And they are just clearly Russian spies, but they don't know that they're
spies. They actually think that they're just social node hosters who are given funding by
the Russian government. And then they're friends with the Russian government,
and they talk about what happened at the parties. They're like, oh yeah, this is what the US devs
are doing. They appear to just not know that they're spies. They just expose state and company
secrets. They're just conducting corporate espionage. It's cool. But I mean, when you, when you hang out with like all of the people who work in these fields,
like everybody just exposes the secrets, right? Like everybody is just talking about,
Oh, this is what I'm doing at work today. This is what I like. NDAs don't work for any,
for any reasonable thing. The only point of an NDA is such that you can go. And if somebody like
objectively, like is the root cause of like a leak, you can in theory try to like sue them for some compensation.
But like if you actually don't want anyone talking about the thing, NDAs don't work.
You have to just make sure nobody knows.
Like because you cannot you cannot sue somebody into enforcing an NDA.
You cannot sue somebody into untelling a secretnda you cannot sue somebody into untelling
a secret like the secret has already been told right now you can just collect damages
but like if the damage is actually primarily from people knowing then there's actually no
way to make you whole again yeah that's uh like how the government handles secrets it's like a mega secret uh mega light
compartmentalized stuff yes like you actually just have to make sure that everybody only knows what
they they need and then like at some point even within the same project you need to like at some
point like a sufficiently litigious enough company that has like uh sued enough people
will cause everyone around them to just realize like oh i actually
don't want to know right like at some point every like bright-eyed bushy-tailed idealistic person
comes into the industry saying like uh yeah like i'm really i want to be in every meeting like i
want to hear every i want to be involved in everything and then by like year five it's like
your boss goes on a call with like legal and he comes back. And instead of being
like, what happened? What's up? You're just like, okay, face down. I am. I actually, I have no
interest in knowing, like it behooves me to not know. I'm like, so fucking Jesusesus so it's so dark i can't even see my face like it's actually like
unintelligibly dark in here i need to get like actually there may be a ring light hold on
i think that's what this is
i thought you were just doing this this on purpose to set the mood.
It's a fucked up mood.
I want there to be electricity on screen.
If you can't see…
I might as well just turn my camera off at this point.
Oh fuck, what? Okay, I have to choose something to turn off. What am I turning off?
They can use this outlet actually.
He's in the light. You need like a power strip or something, I guess, man.
Is it like, does Amazon not work in where you are or something?
Or you can't, there are things you need.
So there is an equivalent of Amazon, but like I have to sign up with a Taiwanese credit
card, which can only be signed up with a Taiwanese bank account.
This is actually like, what is the worst part about living here is that like i've had to borrow
a native taiwanese's uh like log on to like every single usable app that's crazy
let's fix it we'll fix it with day five holy shit let there be light
We'll fix it with day five.
Holy shit.
Let there be light.
Oh, I broke the gorilla pods.
Oh, shoe's back.
You guys talking about the Yankees?
We were talking about the redesigned bat shape.
And then we started talking about NDAs and the ways that e-girls are federal agents accidentally without pay.
If you're good at something, never do it for free.
That's not
true at all. If you're good at something, you should
only do it for free.
You should do the things that you're bad at for
So that bat,
they move the weight
of the wood
yeah they kind of
moved it downward
like the top of the skinny
yeah that looks quite
different than bats when I was playing baseball
back in the day
this is like even goofier
this is potentially a new thing
that they just figured out
anyways guys I gotta take off I gotta be up kind of early tomorrow this is it's like a brand new thing that they just like
anyways guys i gotta take off i gotta be up uh kind of early tomorrow
godspeed later man do they allow metal bats and mlb no right no they had a brief period where metal bats were legal and then it got rolled back because it like btfo'd the entire game
yeah yeah you would have had to like made all the stadiums bigger or something yeah that'll be not game
breaking did you guys play little league do you guys play baseball i played t-ball i played soccer
excuse the t's fuck that tennis tennis is way better dude tennis is just so much better you're always
moving uh you get like a a big net instead of a bat um the balls hurt much less if they hit you
yeah i did play i played a little tennis in high school as well
yeah tennis mogs i shield this is like because there are only so many one-on-one sports right and like most
of them are just combat sports and combat sports mog but also like you can only do so much boxing
until you develop cumulative like uh cte right right you just become functionally retarded
you're like minorly retarded not even minorly like majorly retarded you're like yeah yeah yeah
like if you if you talk to like professional or even semi-professional fighters a lot of the time
uh you know it it's not like a big deal if you talk to them for like an hour or two but like if
you hang out with them over multiple days you notice that it's like they're big repeaters
like you're gonna hear the same exact thing like hundreds of times
also hasn't there been cases of people with cte like snapping and like killing people
you heard of that yeah uh and it's like they're already sore it's like these are the people you least want to be snapping
right it's like guy who's like trained mma semi-professionally for 47 years you now have
like a senile grandpa with like dad strength that can actually like he's like he doesn't know what's
going on he doesn't know who the people next to him are like his grandchildren's
faces are no longer familiar to him and he's on
a rampage i didn't ever think about that before that there's like not a lot of one-on-one sports
you know it kind of sucks because one-on-one sports are like the only sports you actually like want why why do you say that uh because i'm sorry but you actually want like
past a certain age because like right now like i just can't do team sports um because now you
you need a team of people to do anything like you can do basketball basketball is fine because you
can do like pickup basketball with like 3v3 uh one of you I mean you can you know like there's always like pick up basketball
stuff but uh other than that and like basketball sucks also because you need like uh you need a
hoop right yeah tennis is bad because you need a net uh but like if you're in a nice neighborhood you're much more
likely i think to have tennis courts than basketball hoops in my experience this is like the main the
main reason pickleball i think took off is because it's a very low barrier to entry because the courts
are much easier and cheaper to make net doesn't really need like adjusting uh you can just use one of those boards or whatever uh soccer is like because that explains why racquetball is kind of getting popular as well
because it's like one on one yeah yeah
i can't even i think i really like grappling though so like but grappling is also like a
less useful one in any sort of like a
public fight because like you don't really want to uh you don't really want to be on the ground
if they have like buddies around you know you just get kicked in the head a lot
here we can probably call this actually there's like we've gone on for a decent bit wait actually
this is this this can happen wherever but you said you got like an mt09 right
yeah yeah i just bought a bike new bike that thing out wait is this your first bike
no absolutely not no i've been on i was gonna say the first bike mt09 rider is like a world historic squid
i don't know i actually don't understand what you mean by squid does that uh so squid is like
in motorcycle parlance uh it is they're called a squid because if you like kill yourself on the
road your guts like spill out all over the highway and you look like a squid nice you look like a
no yeah i've been i've been on motorcycles since i was like six like dirt bikes and shit long time
yeah if you grew up on dirt bikes you're fine it's not even it's actually um i was mildly
disappointed honestly with how fast the bike is i don't know if i'm just like numb to acceleration at this point but
wasn't as fast as i thought it would be well the fun with the mt09 was less about like the overall
speed and more about like the uh like you're sort of high up in the air and it has like an unusual
amount of torque like yeah it's a great bike i mean it handles well and i like okay the other
thing is like i don't know which
year you got but like early iterations had like a very poorly tuned like electronic throttle
might not have even been electronic uh but but it was like it was just an accidental wheelie
machine because the difference between like idle and like halfway open was just like a couple
millimeters like they did something really
goofy with the uh the throttle and they smoothed it out later and it got a lot less like uh a lot
less rambunctious uh yeah i was trying to get the uh front end to lift up just by cracking the
throttle doesn't really seem to want to do it like i really drove a few mt10s yeah i'm almost
wondering if the bike's actually like not running
as good as it should be but it feels like it's running fine i don't know that's very
interesting so what year did you get it's a 23. which color this one yeah that color it's blue
on the left that's like a cyan that one that's pretty much my bike
but i mean honestly like i'm okay with having a slightly slower bike i mean it's still 120
horsepower it's a shitload for a bike but i did drive a few of the mt10s or ride so that's what
i originally wanted was like the leader but mt10s are quite i love those actually i've ridden
a few of those around i it's a nice bike but like the reason why i decided to go with the the 900 is
because um the riding position is much more like a dirt bike like the mt10 it's still fairly upright
because it's a naked bike but you're you're a little more pitch forward i like the mt10 but
my thing is that i fucking hate the uh i hate the r1 motor and like
you can detune it as much as you want but i still just like hate it uh it is very much so like you're
riding a race bike and yeah forming it into like a street bike thing as opposed to like the mt the
mt09 is just like cross plane triple so it's a nice end yeah look it's
very clearly designed to just be like a fun street bike yeah uh ground up as opposed to like we're
going to take like the used components from our existing manufacturing lines and shoehorn this
into like a nice uh nice street bike yeah and the other thing is um like it's an inline four the mt10 and this is
like a cross plane triple yeah like well i think my last bike was an inline line they just vibrate
the fucking shit out of you like it's legitimately like painful on long rides like it's kind of like
that thing where you're saying like how the racket gives you tennis elbow like if you take a inline
four-cylinder bike on like a long ride, your hands are going to go numb.
This bike is way less vibrations.
I will say, man, there is a way that you can make an inline 4 extremely smooth.
I don't know, man.
No, no, no.
You can definitely do stuff to help it.
But it's just an inherent
vibration because of the layout of the engine.
Like, unless you're adding like a balancer shaft internally into the engine.
This is one of my favorite bikes of all time.
This thing has two balancer shafts in the engine.
It is the sweetest fucking I4 I have ever used in my life.
But I mean, you can't add it.
If they didn't do that from
the factory you can't like go in and add an additional balancer shaft you know what i mean
like it's cooked yes i mean you can but it's like you're building engines now yeah you definitely
well yeah i mean you can do anything sure but like uh i was gonna say like you can always do
it it's just a matter of like it's just have to cnc out a custom you know case yeah you're gonna you're probably gonna have to get a new casing like you're probably gonna have
a new engine case uh which is like cool though i mean i i would be it would be epic like you would
now because also this is a bike right this isn't a car so when you're making a new engine case
you're also making a new tranny case yeah and then you'd have to probably like reroute the exhaust or whatever yeah yeah
what was the other one you showed us it was like an aprilia uh
i don't know if i put an Aprilia up here. Let me disconnect from this.
I was like,
I almost bought a bike when I was in Thailand last year.
it was like,
seemed like the thing to do,
but I'm kind of glad I didn't might not be fun there, dude. I gotta i think it would be pretty fun on the island but uh sv650s i still fucking love the shit out
of like i'm a huge v-twin maxi v-twins have the same problem as inline force to me where they
just like vibrate the hell out of you sv6 i mean there's a lot of ways that you can like
you can always make an engine smooth right
sv650 has a really smooth engine it's a really fun bike too in general like i think it's like
60 maybe 70 horsepower uh decently light uh suspension is dog shit you probably want to
work with that uh you probably want to do something about the brakes they're a little bit like meh
but like just it i it's like a very like miata
tier uh bike in terms of like fun to ride around at street speeds and like it might be a little
bit small for you actually uh it's just on the just on the smaller side of usable for me uh
that's i definitely noticed the brakes on the mt09 are touchy as hell like they grab yeah yeah
yeah the whole the whole control schema was like noted for being like ungodly uh
actually have you played around with the rider modes
um no actually i have not okay because if you're having trouble keeping the front wheel uh
like in the air like it doesn't want you to do it you're being cucked by some electronic drive
that's what i i figured as much yeah because i just bought the bike things will wheelie you as
fuck like i remember the first time i got on one like i very rarely am like the guy who gets on a
bike and gets on it hard enough that you lift the front wheel. But like, yeah, within the first like 10 minutes of the test ride, I was
noticing I was accidentally picking the wheel up and like, okay, that doesn't happen to me.
It probably is like a rider mode thing. Yeah. I could tell that it's like something holding the
bike back. Cause it's like not, it doesn't feel as fast as it should. Like, uh, my last bike was,
uh, I had a CBR 650F.
And it's like an inline four naked bike.
Makes about, I don't know, 87, 90 horsepower or something.
And it feels like as fast as this bike.
Like the acceleration feels very similar.
And like the new bike is like wider and it has 40 more horsepower.
So it feels like something's holding it back. So it probably is like a rider mode or like traction control or some bullshit that i need to figure out how to turn
off the problem is i just bought the bike like on tuesday and then it's been kind of it's just
been raining the whole time right as soon as i bought a bike like it was like beautiful weather
like warm i'm like i'm gonna go buy motorcycle today. Like, look how beautiful it is outside. And then just instant, like, rain clouds.
Yeah, that sucks.
Yeah, but.
This is a bike that I actually, I currently own one of these.
It's the most cop bike of all time.
That's pretty cool.
So it's like the police BMW?
It's literally a police BMW, yeah.
They have a few.
Yeah, they ride those out here.
I think, like, yeah, one of the counties has a bunch of those it's like i think it's like
designed to cruise at like 130 on the highway and have you look like you're doing 50 so because
like when when the police see this i think they assume assume that it's a nice old man or a fellow police.
So it doesn't occur to them.
And it's a very upright riding position too.
They're just like, oh yeah, he's going a reasonable speed.
It doesn't look like he's going fast based on his riding position.
fast based on his riding position but then you are uh the only issue with these guys is uh the
But then you are.
30 recalls addressing literally every single part of the motorcycle that most of them are
unaddressable uh and then it has also uh it has a gear drive but the gear drive they like fumbled
something uh and there's too much there's too much room in the chamber so like under heat
the oil expands so much that it
like blows air out of the seals and like fucks them up uh and so the gear drives frequently go
out and it's like it's like replacing a gear drive on one of these things is like i don't know what
you paid for it but the gear drive replacement is going to be more yeah i mean it's a bmw so that
kind of tracks yeah is that is this the bike you were telling
me about that like the has the problem where like gas leaks on the yes yeah yeah so this
actually i i should say like if i accidentally made this motorcycle sound good to anyone i need
i need to make it very clear do not buy this motorcycle like never ever i don't care what price it is. Do not buy this motorcycle. You could be like,
dude, Lucas, it's 300 bucks, bro. Thank you. It's 300 bucks, bro. Just give me the lessons here.
How bad can it be? Every single part of this thing is fucked. You have an injection molded,
blow molded gas tank in here that has a spout that always cracks because of the design,
because the injection molding was just designed improperly. It always fractures at the tip of this, the outlet where you refill it. However,
like that point is literally right over the electricals where it commonly has like another
electrical problem that like sparks. And so like these things will burst into flames a lot of the
time. Not a lot. I mean, it's not like 1% of the time, but it's like enough that they did a recall
for it and they sent out a recall letter. And the recall isn't like a normal recall where they say like,
okay, like take it into the shop and we're going to like deal with this problem.
It's like a recall that says like, take it into the shop and we'll like pay you this
much money and like take the bike from you because it's like a safety hazard.
Like you shouldn't be driving it.
They don't have to
lose it. Some guy on the aftermarket has like a clamp that like mostly gets rid of the issue.
And that's what I have on mine. But you never know. Like you can always have a fire that
springs up right here, which coincidentally is right where your balls are. And you know what
happens to your T levels if they get too hot, right? Like it may burn you and you you know what happens to your t levels if if they get too hot really it's
like it may burn you and you may die but you're definitely going to be lowering your t levels
castration by motorcycle fire absolutely
i just got a funny list somebody says thoughts on on Honda Rebel for first bike for small city cruising?
I mean, I don't really like cruisers, but it seems like a decent bike for a first motorcycle.
It's like relatively low power, probably pretty cruisable.
Seems like a good choice.
I would prefer something a little more agile and like lighter, but that's just my personal taste.
Let me look at a Rebel.
If this is one of those Japanese standards that is LARPing as a cruiser, it might be fine.
If this is one of those...
Yeah, it's probably fine-ish.
The main thing with cruisers is if you're you're in the cruise no actually i'm now that
i'm looking at this i'm saying actually it's probably not the greatest idea i really just
hate the cruiser riding position yeah like the main problem is like if you if you look at a
cruiser you see that like you're going over a bump here and the thing that is absorbing the
bump is going to be this like this down here like it's going to come down
to the bike the cushioning and the suspension on uh on like a traditional naked bike um like uh
let's look at where is somebody riding one of these yeah so this is a better this is a better example uh
if you see like i mean this has been this is maybe a retarded example because this is like a guy who might have moved his pegs
actually no never mind this is a suzuki advertisement this is stock okay so his feet
are now under his ass right so like when he's going over a bump of some sort he can lift himself
up like he can support himself with his like quads. Uh, so that, and
like, this doesn't really matter that much, uh, for like short around town stuff, but for like
really long rides, which you would think cruisers must actually be good at, right? Like you would,
you would assume that something called a cruiser is good for like cruising. Like you're going to
just go out and you're going to cruise, but they actually really, really suck at doing that because you, you just
keep railing your tailbone with the fucking seat. And like, after like an hour or two,
it just gets so annoying. Uh, because you can't, you can't just step over the bumps.
Yeah. You want to be able to stand up on the bike for sure. Yeah. Lift your ass off the seat and stand on the bags. Yeah. Like, I mean, you
can still do it, but it's like, it's harder. And like, again, on like longer trips, it's like,
this is a harder position to like elevate yourself on. Right. Because you're not like,
I mean, you're like, imagine yourself doing like a wall sit from like the worst angle of
inclination versus just like standing up from like a squatting position, right?
Like it's a different in the ease of standing.
You have to literally pull back on the handlebars in order to like lift up.
Cruisers are also just like very heavy.
You really like the look you enjoy.
I just also don't really like the look.
Like they turn like the look. I just also don't really like the look. Yeah. Like they turn like
Or like you're trying to turn a
boat or something compared to like
more agile, lighter, like naked
bike. Much more
enjoyable to turn.
I really like the weird like retro
styling and stuff. There's always like the goofy cafe racers
that uh that all the companies are making now like they're all doing like retro throwback bikes
i personally am just not a huge fan of like uh like i it's just too associated with soy jackery
for me um in that like all of the people that I knew that do like cafe racers and stuff like
that in my own personal life are like the type of people who have like this
really convoluted,
like coffee making process and they try out all the locally roasted beans.
they're basically just hipsters straight shave with a straight razor.
Whereas I'm, I'm all down with these
disgusting like bug-like transformers mobiles uh like to the i'm like oh this is based right
uh this is literally like the same bike though like is that other one like all the all the
componentry the engine like it's all it's the same shit but like they just did a they did a reskin and they said
like okay this one is instead going to look like a cafe racer and this one is going to look like a bug
pretty interesting oh bikes are really cool man yeah bikes i think have like the highest current
differentiation of any like vehicle that you can get.
You can get a 250cc single-stroke dirt bike.
You can get a cruiser.
You can get a BMW adventure bike.
What is it?
Is it the G?
They might have updated them oh it's the r's i think
yeah oh sorry the r1250gs you know these things are so so good though and they're like they trick
you into thinking that they're supposed to be good at off-road and like i think that's what like
everyone who buys them thinks they're gonna do with them but you don't they're actually just
like the most comfortable touring bikes somehow like the the
riding position the way that it gets the wind off of you like these are like the most comfortable
bikes to do like 16 hour days on i was also looking at this uh ktm They have like an adventure bike. They kind of have like a dirt bike suspension.
KTM has a couple of really, really
good ones.
Yeah, Aura was trying to show me
the Duke 900 or something instead of the
The parts are expensive.
They're not the easiest to work on compared to like
a yamaha is like was it this thing uh i can it's kind of pixelated because my screen's tiny let me
see uh i don't think so it was it had like orange metal
It had orange metal bars on the outside of it.
Like dirt bike brake lever guard type things.
These are just fun as fuck, man.
These are just so fucking fun.
Considered buying the Duke 900 or whatever instead.
These are like Giga Wheelie machines too.
It's just like a massive V-Twin that you could just rev the piss out of it.
This was one of my most fun test rides.
This was another one where within the first couple of minutes,
I did intentionally wheelie because that's what you're supposed to do do with these motorcycles but i'm not a big wheelie guy generally i'm too scared
of dying i'm definitely gonna have to like go i guess i'm literally gonna have to like read the
fucking owner's manual and figure out how to turn off the traction control because it does not want
to let me wheelie the bike and it's like default configuration it's kind of annoying it's like default configuration. It's kind of annoying. It's like the wheelie bike. Yeah, the tigers are good. Actually, I'm a big fan of the tigers. Tiger. Uh, and honestly,
the street triple is pretty good.
I was thinking about buying one of the eights off of one of my co-workers a while back
these are also really good uh so do you just like continue to collect random
junk vehicles even though you don't not even living in the states anymore
uh yeah i haven't gotten any new vehicles in a while okay but look at this tell me the od green
is not sick as fuck bro goes hard like this is insanely hard it's pretty that's pretty sick i
do like the od green color it's always looks good on bikes especially that beak that beak actually
looks the only thing is the lights get a little bit uh oh these these usually have uh the offset
lights where like one is bigger than the other so that's nice they finally evened them out uh does that bother you the asymmetric lights not a huge fan yeah uh but
no i haven't bought a bike in a while it like i used to just have a i would just buy like three
or four new ones a year and i'd probably sell like uh two maybe three of them uh and i'm just like
gradually collecting one per year yeah yeah and like all
all of my uh co-workers at my old place would ride or all the ones that i'd hang out with and
we would all uh like there weren't a ton of great roads around but we lived by this reservoir where
it was just a super fucking nice uh roads and like curves around the lake just like awesome
and uh there's some really nice riding roads out here man like i couldn't
see that yeah through the mountains is always just gigabase there's also like uh if you're
into dirt biking we have like just miles of like single track dirt bike trails out here
kind of i kind of want to get a dirt bike again it's been a while since i've had a dirt bike
i think your mic just died
i think your mic's down or something you can barely hear you
motorcycles in taipei do people use them out there they're super uncommon compared to every other vehicle. What about like scooters?
Is that similar to like other Southeast Asian places or?
It's all scooters because of parking, basically.
Also, I think Taiwanese drivers are sort of lazy.
Like riding a bicycle even is kind of dangerous because they don't like, like today I had this scooter guy, like literally just like turn right. Like I was going across a road, uh, and it's like,
it was a walk sign. Like I was good. It was, it was a walk sign that said like 60 seconds. Like
I had 60 remaining seconds or something like that. And the guy just comes in and just rides like
right in front of me. And I like, it's raining
out. Also, I was able to stop in time that I hit him like fairly slowly. So it didn't really matter,
but I did hit him. Like I did make contact with him. Uh, and then I just kept going and he rode
off. I was thinking about like, uh, I could like, I could have actually justified like a road rage
situation where I like kickstanded my bike and then just like threw him
off of the scooter and started beating the fuck out of him uh but i'm i don't want to do that
kind of guy with a tourism stamp either like i don't know that they'd be that kind to you even
if you're like justified yeah i know i i yeah i just can't really get that mad at like a bad
asian driver right like it feels sort of retarded.
It's just like getting mad at like the natural order of the world.
Like, oh my God.
Like the Asian driver didn't check before making a right-hand turn.
Like that's crazy.
All right, cool.
I'm down to call it though.
Yeah. Same. A little late Sunday. I'm going to call it though yeah same a little late sunday sleep earlier god speed guys love you all
oh you can't even really see it the lane is so bad
