okay i think we did it hello welcome jam jam recycle this is the beginning of the super
cycle actually we're just waiting on trump trusting the plan i did some really good sentiment hedging yesterday
well do tell uh
so we were discussing sentiment hedging right
this is what you would call a fairly good sentiment hedge, I think.
I was laughing. As soon as I posted this tweet, I went and I did a lot of things that made me net short.
Because I realized that if I was willing to post this tweet, my instincts are almost always like Pico top buyer.
So I should do something about it.
And then we got this out of it.
So you're using basically you're using your followers is exit liquidity is what you're saying.
On the Bitcoin pair.
That was funny. I was laughing about that i mean the thing is i wound up being right on both
counts like yeah i think if btc is actually making or made new lows which is pretty impressive
yeah it looks it looks like it did uh i mean, Bitcoin honestly is back above my buys now from last night.
Yeah, it is what it is. It's like, I do still wonder if there's going to be any using crypto
to evade sanctions, but I guess like, or not sanctions, tariffs. I guess they just like,
But I guess like, or not sanctions, tariffs.
I guess they just like, you can't like ship stuff, like physical goods over the Bitcoin network.
So that probably doesn't work.
Oh, you went to, we went to 89 last night.
I didn't realize that.
I guess I, I didn't show up to like 87 and a half.
That was on the tariff.
He just announced the 10% thing and everyone's like, oh, that's nothing.
Like, that's not a big deal.
And then he like brought out this whole spreadsheet of how raped everyone was about to get
it's a rape sheet yeah the rape sheet who doesn't making fourth world countries out
of third world countries is crazy work i wonder uh i wonder what we're looking at in the strategies.
Yeah, that's about what I thought.
That's a nice little take there.
You know it's bad when you're like euphoric over a 2% gain.
No, I'm always euphoric over a two percent gain
no i'm always euphoric over a two percent gain man what are you talking about
i'm honestly surprised uh more people aren't going into these things
not necessarily because i myself would go into these things but because I like, if you're hoping for ranges, like this is like, we had a minor,
a minor deviation from the range, but it's like back in the range, right?
You say range here to here-ish. I don't remember where exactly it's set at, but like,
it's a range, right? We're at a level uh we're in a range what's interesting is sentiment in these type of periods is always so split up
like there's just no consensus at all.
Yeah, this is actually like...
People just trying to provide to each other's shit.
This is a little more interesting now, I think,
than it was like a week ago.
There's a lot of like broad positive sentiment.
Last week, I think.
Yeah, half the fucking group chats are calling for 73k the others are like up only season is returning
after this dip i promise
that doesn't sound good man
i mean i don't know like i think it but like how much do tariffs actually impact
this because like maybe this is my brain lit take but like uh
i just whenever there's like a big news event that involves trump typically what happens is it like uh
goes really hard one way and then reverses harder the other way and then in a week gets back right usually like a day it's back
My usual strategy is to like grid bot I
Honestly, I'm really thought out how tariffs realistically should
Impact or would impact Bitcoin or crypto
Yeah, well, I don't even know how I would make that mental model
if we're being honest.
Yeah, that's why I would-
Like I don't know which factors are more or less relevant.
Like I could do like an extremely detailed analysis
and put together a 15 page research paper
and then just be like completely wrong
because I like forgot about like one or two regulations
like one or two regulations that might matter.
that might matter.
Maybe a good thing for like deep research,
like chat GBT.
I don't think,
I don't think chat GBT deep research is going to work well for this because
most of the like economist articles are just like libtard trump fud yes
and i assume it's going to be referencing a lot of those right we're about to find out
you said something you only get 10 per month be careful don't use all your detroit no actually i
think you can just spin up more gmails so like actually let her fly you said something interesting
lucas about uh like you know what regulation am i forgetting
about like the the little implication there is that uh basically the more real this stuff gets
and by real i'm basically just implying like the degree to which like institutional capital like uh
tried fine everything like starts uh to buy bitcoin holdings and everything the more like in tune
bitcoin especially will be with like tariff price movements basically
like it's uh i'm sure that i'm sure that like uh over like the course of this whole week it's
going to look pretty similar to the like s&p for instance yeah not going to be that different
especially bitcoin it'll be different for it'll be different for other tokens, but Bitcoin will be...
This is just a correlate of everything is computer.
Yes. Everything is computer
and people really like computers.
The more Bitcoin gets normalized,
the more it's going to look like just a stock,
The stocks run on computers.
What we really want is we wanted to start following gold but it seems like that's
just not the case yet the stream brought to you by gold yeah the stream brought to you by xau index
can we get the the free the free gate io promo off the screen
oh yeah here yeah hold up i'll come back diabolical i'll stop promoting great
gate uh this guy's saying i would be in the strategies but i got liquidated by them you know
the same here i don't think i got fully liquidated i think like i think it did a thing where it was
like well technically i still have three percent left uh But it felt like a liquidation in my heart.
But that hasn't prevented me from continuing to experiment.
How's it going, Suv?
Good, good.
Did I have the vacuum on when I was in the back room before?
Yeah, you did.
Vacuuming got to happen, too.
You know what I'm saying?
Can't blame you
oh it's got a vacuum
how's uh um how's the market
it's a decent bounce on bitcoin gold is at at 3,200 almost. Kind of a...
Actually, this bounce is not that big on Bitcoin.
It was at 88 back to 82, right?
We just got like a huge juke in both directions.
Yeah, wow.
It looks like we did make a new low.
Yeah, I think it was at 81 something for a bit.
But it's kind of been the case for like the last week, in my opinion.
Like I kept telling people like it's such whipsaw environment right now.
Like the, I guess, range, but like it felt kind of aggressive each time.
So I went on this giga candle this morning.
I went short. Then we went down for a bit
and got that fucking giga tariff candle nice i was gone from the computer for like an hour
and right when i came back the tariff news came out i got fucking stopped out and then it just
giga dumped down again it's the most whipsaw like untradable environment all my friends who were
short like they covered into the tariff announcement
because they were afraid of a pump.
And so kind of traded like that as well, I think, the market.
Yeah, definitely didn't really seem priced in.
About 49 Cambodia, didn't seem priced in.
Cambodia insta-dumped.
But you know what was priced in?
Cambodian whales dumped the You know what was priced in? Cambodia and Wales dumped the market.
This was priced in.
The stream brought to you by Ox.fund Strategy Vaults.
Yeah, literally. It's just like, what is this? Like a hundred million
ox gain in the OLP? Like that's not bad.
I think these tariffs are so hilariously high
that aren't they going to just have to pull them back
after like a week?
People are just going to make a hunt of these numbers.
Yeah, it's like
I don't know. I feel like
I don't even want to comment because it's either
like they're just
really retarded or they're just trying to
convince everyone they're serious.'s the way they're brandishing the weapon let's look at the cnn cnn article on
this okay so is no one gonna just make me a tariff chart? Trump did that for you. You can probably pull up the picture of it.
This is low-key really bullish for Canada, though, guys.
Watcher Guru also has it. Have you checked Watcher Guru?
Yeah, Mexico, too, was also, like, immune, right?
Or not affected.
Wait, who's this bullish for?
It's bullish for Chinese World Order, I think.
Oh, I thought you said Canada.
Yeah, it's definitely not bullish for the United States, I don't think.
I'm not super happy about it.
It's kind of a cucked move.
It's kind of a cucked move because it's almost like sanctioning yourself, right?
almost like it's almost like sanctioning yourself right yeah like self-sanctions like the amount of
It's like self-sanctions.
benefit we get out of like us hegemony and like the dollar being the world currency is like way
more than whatever we're going to recover from these tariffs i think yeah i mean it's like you
know how people always say like oh each should tariff l2s if they actually did like everything
would just be like like bsc or something right like bsc and tron don't pay anything to you yeah so if you tariff
them they're they're just gonna fight you even more at least like alignment is cut but it's more
cut to actually fight your allies right like there's still a like a spectrum of being caught
and i think it's being aligned is actually still not the worst,
like the alignment play.
Yeah. Cause at least they're still using ETH.
It's not like it's own.
So it's more just like 10% on Singapore.
Is it literally just 10% every country bare minimum?
Can someone say it's like the inverse
of some trade deficit that they're doing?
Is there like a 5D chess gigabrain argument for this
or is it just purely retarded?
Like someone out there must have a copium gigabrain argument for how this is actually based and I don't see the vision, right?
I mean, the bullish argument is bringing manufacturing back to the States.
Other countries will reduce their tariffs to try to get on our good side again.
I guess that's it. That's all I can think of.
Well, do most of these other countries even have tariffs on us?
Yes. Yep. Yeah. Well,
almost everybody tariffs us.
Yeah. I think ultimately it's a question of like,
can U S manufacturing come back? It probably can, right? It's not that hard. It's hard, but not that hard.s manufacturing come back it probably can right it's not that hard
it's hard but not that hard so if this kicks it off more electrical engineers i will say
like everybody went into everyone went into comp sci and that's cool and stuff but like uh
manufacturing needs a lot of ease and they're currently like very underpriced by the market
relative to like how much value they are. If you're doing your own manufacturing.
I just don't think it's like,
we're like sacrificing like our high tech economy to bring back manual labor
jobs. That seems like a step backwards.
I don't think it's really the case that we're necessarily sacrificing high
tech, the high-tech market
you gotta really see uh i i don't know like explain that like i don't really see how this
that correlates to the tariffs frankly
well all of the economic inputs that we're using for like chips and everything are going to go up
using for like chips and everything are going to go up right um so like ai requires a ton of chips
that's like one of the major sources of like our us tech growth tech economy at the moment
i mean is there a reason we cannot simply move fabs here they're already doing that
simply move fabs here they're already doing that like that's already happening
yeah but i guess that's what i'm saying is like if this is purely about like tech inputs
like isn't that a solvable problem
yes probably but i mean the cost of it is still going to be more if we're manufacturing them in the U S right.
Yeah, probably maybe there's a, so there's like a Taiwanese, a Taiwanese belief that
they're like genetically better at manufacturing chips.
I, I was told this by Kyle and I started asking some of the people here and sometimes it'll be like,
like, oh, it's like, because like high dexterity or something, but often it's like some belief
that it's like the Taiwanese people were like born to like speak to Silicon or something of
this variety. There's not much manual dexterity that needs to go on in a really modernized chip
fab. Yeah. I don't know.
I haven't been asking chip manufacturers.
I've been asking random Taiwanese people.
So these answers will be skewed.
Yeah, I don't think.
This is like Machi's take.
I mean, to run a semiconductor facility well, you need to have like electrical engineering
PhDs willing to wear a hazmat suit for 10 hours a day. academic doctor facility well you need you need to have like electrical engineering phds willing
to wear a hazmat suit for 10 hours a day so you know you have that in taiwan i don't know if you
can get that in the us it's not easy to want to do like imagine you have to study like stem for
like a fairly long time and then wear like a hazmat suit for like hours a day. How many Americans can we think of? I mean, it's easier to lock mean coins
and to like, you know,
be a banker or a lawyer.
So, I mean, you can,
you can get anyone to do anything, right?
Like, if you were to say,
you are going to stay inside
and live a sexless life,
eating dextroamphetamine pills all day
while masturbating to fake women and trading coins on Solana.
I'm already doing that.
They all would have said, I'll never fucking do that.
But study the tragedy.
Maybe if they make it enough like a casino, then the electrical engineers will wear the hazmat suits.
I think you need to make it like
some kind of a survivor game where it's like that. That's has to be gamified. It was not gamified.
I don't know if people are going to do it. I mean, it is like a survival game, right? It's
like, if you don't do this, none of us are going to eat and we're all going to die.
I think Trump's trying to trigger like a Sputnik moment. He's trying to be like, okay, guys, we're actually super behind.
You know, the US is super behind on like manufacturing steel.
Like we actually went to war.
We run out of weapons in like a few years.
Like can't actually, like you ultimately can't wage war unless you manufacture, right?
Because you literally don't have like.
And this is like, we do actually need to like up our manufacturing.
There have been several articles now from like random sub stack writers who have even noticed that like China controls like more than 50% of like the global drone production tooling, which is like, and that's like China alone.
alone, right? So it's like the entire rest of the world could wage war on China and China will be
able to outlast them on the drone attrition game. And nobody really knows, I guess, what an all-out
world war would look like at this point, but I think it's safe to say it doesn't involve that
many nukes. I think what's interesting about the Chinese economic pivot is they massively had an
overinvestment in property, right?
Which needs a lot of steel, steel rebar.
And then when property markets slow down, they just pivot all the steel capacity to shipbuilding.
So they just build tons of like Navy.
So essentially like it's been like, you know know i think they've seen manufacturing as like a
strategic or or like infrastructure construction as like a strategic like pillar to then have like
a bigger navy or to have this or that so i think trump is trying to also say that like okay we're
gonna be strategic doesn't matter if there's short-term pain um i think that's
absolutely the case yeah because it was painful in china to some of these big transitions like
at some point in china a few years ago they looked at all the web 2 companies and said this is all
kind of a joke you guys are just making got gotcha games for kids so first of all we're going to ban
sales of gotcha games into like app stores secondly we're going to ban like you
know obscenity on like most children's like you know social media stuff and then we're gonna like
make these kids do something other than make web 2 stuff so and then crypto they looked at it and
they're like okay bitcoin's probably okay if you want to buy like i don't care but like 90 of these
mlms are scams so like you can't show mlms to grandmothers anymore
you know because they used to allow that right like foul coin and like stuff like this was like
shielding grandma circles in in china so i think it's kind of a yeah like trump's almost going in
china mode he he's being like i don't like these these sectors, so we're going to nuke them. And then I like these other ones, so we're going to moon these. So I think it's very good
in Trump's America in certain sectors, but it's extremely bad if you're on the wrong side.
Like if you're Nike and you just moved all your factories to Vietnam, you're kind of cooked.
So- I do, I mean, the amount of like military industrial production capacity that China
has now is actually something that is sort of like a doomsday.
Like you must do something about this.
Like, right.
Cause like win condition Civ game shit.
I mean, there has literally never been this big of a production difference in the world
outside of war, right? Like usually when these differences happen and one country has like a
much higher production capacity, it's like because they have so BTFO'd another country in an ongoing
war that they now can make nothing. If this happens in peacetime it's like what the happens in war yeah
i think if you look at uh active chinese warships by type this is from csis but it's already flipped
america now as of mid last year which is the first time in history america like And I think that, I mean, most American Navy is not in Asia-Pac,
Indo-Pac anyway. So it's going to be like, yeah, I think it's like naval investment is the main
thing, right, that China is focusing on uh for obvious reasons so
i think that america like like in a way they're kind of like i don't necessarily want to get into
like a naval battle because it's just like very painful to do it's very expensive
um so yeah there should be more naval simulators.
It's a good time to make these kind of games.
I feel like that's gonna be early, be early in this.
Yeah, what if war happens again?
Like what if we actually, uh.
Gonna be long naval simulators if the war happens um i feel like we fumbled a lot by not uh by not having
like more strategic uh military mmos like maybe we did cod too hard and we used cod as like a
recruitment play like oh like they're gonna like cod they're gonna like shooting people so we'll
get some recruits but like uh we could have run the enders game thing right hmm enders game yeah i feel like that strategic
thinking would have avoided ukraine happening the way it did because that was kind of i mean
afghanistan and ukraine were giga blunders by america i feel yes we need starcraft players
running a u.s foreign policy you need like civ pro like starcraft like some some kind of
yeah yeah civ civ might get like uh that might pull it the wrong direction i think starcraft
might be like the the autism typing we need yeah no like the ukraine thing is always uh like i never even followed it that much but every time
i heard anything that was going on i was like we've basically recreated like uh a european
afghanistan situation where it's just like there's just like random petty war crimes going on and
then one day someone will release this
or that piece of propaganda and uh like it appears that there can actually be no definitive like
victory uh without one side saying like i'm going to just stop now because it's like getting painful
yeah yeah as long as the us is funding it anyway like if ukraine had to do it by themselves they
would probably give up relatively quickly yeah and then you just have this zelensky guy who like uh
i mean it's like we were talking about before how all the all the women in the millennial and zoomer
class just love zelensky uh and so like inherently that just makes me hate him right like i just i
just assume that he has to be like the worst goofball like uh stand-in uh astro turfed
lead of a country in in the entire universe and uh it's the insult yeah yeah like nothing nothing
he's done really disproves that I guess. Right. Like
he's out here, like doing all this big tough guy posturing, but it's like, he's like posturing
to the U S using like the confidence that he's gained by like the U S military supporting
him. And it's, it's just like, what's going on here? Like, he's like pointing your own
guns at you. It's like very strange.
It's also crazy how he like came out and said half of the money that we sent him was missing and then i don't think i heard anything else about that like it
just kind of got memory hold but i think in the west generally like there's two forms of war which
is like social and physical and all of the west has been focused both internally in their own countries and externally on social wars and then meanwhile
like china was like yeah you know these other countries are like yeah fuck all that um let me
manufacture some more navy ships and then in the end you kind of realize oh fuck you know we're so
far behind in the west in terms of actual like war that actually is going to matter in the long run and then we also started like specking really heavily into like psyops overall
as a strategy but we we gradually started selecting less and less competent people to carry
out these psyops like if you were to look at like 9 11 propaganda that was actually really good
like from a from a purely like propagandistic standpoint
like the level of like emotionality that it evokes when you watch it is it's like startling compared
to what we have now like the stuff now genuinely feels like it's a marvel movie and it real says
the government back then was more aligned with like the actual like nature and inclinations of
the people of the united states um now it's like fully occupied and the the ruling class like genuinely has no
idea about like the like uh the emotional like disposition or uh or value system of like most
of the people it governs aside from like the tiny slice of the electorate that like it nominally
represents yeah and they like i, it's the meme about being
unable to like the libs being unable to model conservative minds or whatever the fuck. Uh,
I don't know if that's like true, like always, or if it's just acutely true now because of exposure,
but like, it is just clearly true. And, uh, it's led to really bad propaganda. Like it's led to
propaganda that like you look at it and you just think like, I don't like my government.
Like the propaganda achieved the inverse effect, right?
Like the Ukraine war stuff made me think like we might actually be the bad guys.
The Russian propaganda might be good.
And that wasn't even me seeing like the Russian propaganda.
That was me seeing our own propaganda yes yes i mean if you look at if you look at someone who's really interesting
like all the leftists from before are now right wing and vice versa all the right-wing people are
not like oliver stone was was a leftist um was like the leftist uh kind of like uh truth teller
type right and he did a documentary about you
ukraine in 2014 about the made on revolution and how like like america was doing like foreign
influence to cause the revolution and then like in 2023 like it becomes a right-wing view to view
that the u.s government caused ukraine right so it's like full full displacement of like what what the
left and the right view it has like i think that that's been like a shocking change that
doesn't that also count for elon he was like loved by the left wing he was completely
yeah and then i mean same with trump like trump trump was like democratic golden boy for
a while there too right maga is honestly like just the democrats it's like a democrat psyops
where the democrat the dnc nuked itself and then maga is the real democrat like uh agenda like if
you think about the agenda of clinton in the 90s yeah and then like yeah i mean this is very much like a protectionist uh style like you know local
manufacturing increased wages at the cost of corporate profits like this is like 80s democrat
type stuff that yeah like blue dog shit like blue dog shit yeah exactly and it's actually amazing
that you've gotten a lot of right-wing people to to be in favor like i think the mitt romney conservatives just got pushed out and then
they're kind of just yeah they like they like just objectively lost there was there was a long
period too where like if you would get into political arguments or something like in 2016
when you would talk about like uh like if someone would find out you were a trump supporter and
they were like a democrat and they would respond with like well like but like aren't you a republican like you know trump supports like
and then they would say some like populist policy or something right and you would be like
yeah like i like that right and they would just be confused because they're like well like but
conservatism is like this thing and you're like i don't really know what conservatism is like this thing. And you were like, I don't really know what conservatism is.
I just know that I like this thing that he said.
I don't need to be Republican.
Everyone who calls themselves conservative
is only nominally so.
But the actual position of what conservatism was,
even eight years ago,
has completely shifted.
Yeah, massive massive massive shift like all those are saying they're conservative but i don't know if they think they know what that means like i think my theory is that they're actually still liberal
but they just don't that they redefined what it means to be conservative yeah all these words
just got like the semantics just got completely jumbled and everyone's just using words colloquially how they want and just assume they know what the definition is.
I don't really think it's a matter of semantic drift. I think it's more a matter of just like value realignment.
Like the classic saying, like everyone is conservative about something they love, about the things they like, you know, like they like them.
They don't really want them to change. Like that's like proximally what like conservatism
actually means, right? Like conserving the state of something. Um, the, the classic saying that,
uh, right-wingers have been saying for years at this point is, uh, it like it's to interrogate,
like, uh, their conservative representatives and so forth. It's like, what have you conserved?
You know, um, a lot of the a lot of the values are the same,
but like the realignment has been necessitated
by just like a total failure on the part of politicians
and institutions and especially narratives,
I think is even more explanatory to like deliver
what like certain portions of the population actually want.
It was funny that we wound up in such a cartoonish Hunger Games scenario
that you had an actual majority of the country
had views and beliefs and wants
that the majority of the people in power actually
could not predict and did not understand like that i thought i like i think everyone was looking
at this around like covid time and saying like you know i think it's probably cooked
right like i think i think they might actually just close the loop here and it could all be over
forever uh the loop here and it could all be over forever tesla stock actually looks okay still
i wonder what the share of uh like domestically versus foreign produced vehicles are for like different manufacturers.
It's like Tesla has a few fairly big factories in the US, but also like quite a few abroad,
like even in China. But I'm sure that other car manufacturers are worse off.
Toyota also has a decent amount of factories in the US. Anyone that really makes trucks
probably has some factories here
because trucks were already tariff pretty high yeah i'm no car experts just wondering the
differential no trucks trucks are a like category of vehicle in the u.s that's actually like
like every single car manufacturer has to have like entirely different truck lines
if they're exporting to the U.S.
because of our ridiculous combination of what you know we have like regulations involving uh
like the size of the vehicle versus like the emissions that it can put out so it's like
in order to actually function as a truck you have to make it enormous because otherwise at the towing
capacity that it has as a truck, it will not be able to go
and, uh, like it will, it will not be fuel efficient enough unless you make it huge.
So it's like legally mandated that your truck must be like a three times wider than the average
U S parking space. I guess that makes a lot of sense. Why we, why our truck market is the way
it is. But I mean,
I guess it's maybe a good thing to look at like how it might affect the
broader car manufacturing space because like trucks were sort of already
affected by tariffs before any of this happened.
Like that was already like a major thing we were tariffing.
So that's why a lot of like Toyota manufactures their trucks in the U S maybe like a good thing we were tariffing so that's why a lot of like toyota manufactures their trucks in the u.s um maybe like a good thing to look at i guess no trucks trucks are almost like
market non-viable now uh like body body on frame like actual workhorse shit is like frankly
impossible to produce in the u.s everyone is like why is it not getting produced it's literally not
possible to make that here, given the current regulatory
environment.
So now it's like you have unibody trucks.
You're saying like it's Sepsier, like gigantic diesel
like F450s
and stuff? No, no, no.
Even the gigantic diesel trucks cannot be
body on frame because it's like
a combination of safety, emissions,
You can no longer have like a modular truck
just doesn't work i think most of the like quarter ton half ton and up trucks are still
body on frame they're just like 90 000 or whatever oh sorry i meant yeah i was talking about like uh
the little boys uh once you get to like yeah i
got your saying yeah yeah yeah like the tiny like the tundras and the tacomas and stuff yeah the
ranger uh no it's uh but like every every single guy in the u.s has gone to like asia and you see
those tiny little it's like you basically have like an i4 and then it's like towing a flatbed
or something and you're like wait why can't we have this we're like this looks cool as fuck why can't i have one of these this would be so much better
for everything i need a truck for but it's like again it's literally just like regulatory
yeah i got in uh when i was in thailand i got kind of into the local car scene a little bit and they
love those like little tiny isuzu diesel
trucks they like drag races with them and stuff yeah dude uh everyone uh and then it's so annoying
because you go back after after like seeing that every other country has stuff like this and you
see like all these these posts from like libtarts saying like this evil truck is evil you can't even
see the can't even see the children in front of it. They're just going to bulldoze
thousands of kids every week.
Why do these conservatives
insist on driving these huge trucks to
flex their penises? And you're just
like, god damn it. It's your fault.
It's your fault. I will drive the
fucking Miata truck, dude. Just let
Yeah, I do
wish we could get those in the States. there's some really cool stuff we don't get
i mean i didn't realize that was because of yeah uh i mean i thought it was more like safety
regulations rather than i mean it's a it's a combination but like the truck thing specifically
is because they actually have like a size per emissions thing i see yeah yeah that's really stupid because then like really
we're making bigger trucks and like uh more wear and tear more that's more emissions in general
this is why the new ford ranger needs to be like the size of an f-150 yeah it's huge i think uh
when we were in enzo's it's like substantially bigger than my old piece of shit f-150
that i've kept around yeah
it's like an enormous truck yeah like i'll probably never get that truck because it's like uh
they just don't make them like that anymore you know yeah did you have the old uh what was it like
the second or third gen f-150 that has like the i6 that's like uh it's like it runs like she'll
always run but like uh like the jellybean one where like the
first f-150 that kind of got like arrow it was like kind of rounded it's like an 03 or something
okay it's not like an old the old ones are like really boxy and probably cooler but i was just
looking for like a cheap truck to tow my trailer you know like take my buddy's got like a boxy ass
one that is legit like uh i think he picked it up for like 800 bucks uh he got it with his trump stimulus check uh he put he put he put a vanity plate on it was like trump bucks
uh that car was that car was a fun joke for our circle for a while that thing was just like uh
i don't know he saved my ass a few times when i had to move. But that's always the thing. Everyone wants to ask you to help you
with everything. Like, yo, can you move this? Can you help me move? It's actually gets a little
tiring. There are a few things in life that you don't realize until you've done them that result
in you being the guy to handle a lot of things. One is like, if you ever demonstrate to anyone
that you can fix things in general, it's like, you're now the guy anytime anyone's anything breaks very bad. If you're ever jacked,
every time someone wants to move, they're like, yo, can you help me move? That's also kind of
annoying. If you demonstrate like, you know how to fix computers. Now you're the it guy. Uh,
if you're ever the truck guy, you're in mover guy territory also yeah uh yeah there's a lot of secret pitfalls where you
can just accidentally get time rugged by a bunch of people who like uh it's like it's like owning
a dog too like if uh all the guys posting about like oh you want a dog to get girls or whatever
uh you don't actually want to dog yourself uh you want your neighbor to have the dog
to have the fucking dog and then you walk it sometimes that's an interesting arb the neighbor
and then you walk it sometimes
dog interesting yeah i accidentally i accidentally figured that one out uh when i moved from my first
job and i was living uh living in a duplex with this girl who had this like really cute like little
mini corgi thing i would just walk it i would walk it around because i like i think i like the dog
just much more than she did uh i walked around it basically met half the girls in my town uh just because of
that so you need like a tiny like fake dog that's how it works better i mean i personally like big
dogs a lot better uh because it's like when i the of a dog, I think it's like you come home from work and this enormous 180 pound dog like barrels you over and just tackles you and says, oh, my God, like you're back.
I'm so excited. And a tiny dog can't do that. Right.
Like you may come home as many times as you want, but it will never have the impact velocity required to like work up the momentum to topple you like a bowling pin.
And so it just it literally never hits hard enough.
Like the dog doesn't hit you with enough force that you experience that effect.
I've never heard of this one before.
Catch, honestly.
Just to pick up girls, you probably want the little retarded gay dog.
Definitely.
Yeah, I think also there's a lot of girls who have an experience with a dog that's just come up and relentlessly hump them.
And it's always a big dog, right?
If a little dog does it, I don't even know if they notice it.
They might just think it's jumping or something.
When the big dogs do it, there's enough visible actuation of their hips that they know what's going on here they're
like oh no yeah every time i like um i actually get pretty annoyed when like little kids ask to
pet my dog because he's like he's like 90 pounds he's not small so i know now now you're in the
position where you're like i really hope my dog doesn't eat this guy yeah yeah yeah because like
because you don't want like if your dog accidentally like gets excited and knocks the little kid over and now the mom
is beating you with an umbrella or something just not a situation you want to be in yeah yeah the
little one was definitely much safer for that but i was always like i would go out to like let them
pet the dog but i've just like reached the point where i'm just like no sorry they're like yeah you feel bad but
you feel bad but your dog didn't eat their child so it's like in the end you won
yeah back in a trust in a in a trust-ridden america when we were when we still liked each
other you could have the dog yeah there's definitely uh knock him over it's just like
kid stuff yeah yeah it's like lawsuit territory like we're gonna sue your ass and
put your dog down all of covid uh all of covid there was a period where like uh
we were able to like work outside like my my company didn't do like, uh,
forcing work by home or anything. Like, I think you could, if you wanted to,
I did a fair period of like remote work stuff, but, uh, it was like mostly, um, it's like, you can just go outside if you wanted to. Uh,
and I spent a lot of time outside just like panning shirtless while working
with this neighbor dog sitting around there, just like throwing, throwing uh throwing the frisbee for it to
run endlessly the whole summer home discourse is interesting to me because like i was fully on that
like way before covet even like i think i've been remote working since like 2018 so now like it's
just interesting the perspective people have on it like now like oh it's time to
like return to return to the office or whatever and it's like the remote work discourse had been
going on really heavily with uh like software developers like before covid ever started
uh and like devs were all euphoric over this over covid basically because it finally like
yeah it finally it finally gave
them all the opportunity to actually do the remote work thing uh and the majority of companies i've
worked for haven't even had a physical office at all physical offices are nice though i will say
it's definitely there's definitely pros and cons for sure. Yeah.
I'm pretty sure it's
better for productivity for like
95% of people, honestly.
There's definitely like a
curve though. You can tell like
there's like a certain type of person
actually can like work remotely
at like a decently high level
of efficiency. but then also
there's a lot of people who like there's a lot of people who if you let them work remote uh they
will literally they will literally produce zero value uh and then if you have them in the office
they might actually be like really really good workers i guess like my um i mean i guess if
they're at the office and they are really really good workers
then that's one thing but i would just more like default to get rid of those type of people
that can't provide any value you know i don't know like that's like uh it's a character tell
wait so did trump just make up the tariff amounts that he thought america was terrified hd type
is what it would be very based so trump just made up the numbers that uh that he said america is
terrified uh because he just calculates it based on the trade deficit it's not actually because
it says including currency manipulation and trade barriers. Yeah, I did
The trade deficit and saying that was the
The tariff that that is also what I read that he just made that shit up
Everyone's trying to see what the calculation was but no
Or something like the guys who's catching my president
i actually feel like the government would probably be better if we just like default
the chat gpt for everything at this point probably be run more efficiently it's probably not wrong
i mean it would definitely be run more efficiently, right? Like it's, uh,
it's hard to be more efficient than like,
you have zero guys doing anything.
You're echoing, man.
Okay. What about now? There you go. You're good. Yeah.
I think it's funny that we've gotten to the point now where like immediately when Lucas's mic starts spazzing out, we're just like, dude, cut that shit out.
It's good that we've all built up this level of trust, right?
This is all part of podcast.
This is all part of streaming.
It's like 300 actions per minute microing all your different microphones.
Sometimes they slip by and you leave one on.
I'm looking I'm looking at these positions that the the ox OLP has taken and it's like.
How like it's like giga long Bitcoin. I guess that's because it went from 45 mil to 15 mil, right?
Like today.
Like I think so many people were shorting it that it's like, well, we've got to be long,
Isn't that the reverse?
Well, I mean, if they're shorting it, then OLP works.
If clients are net long, then OLP will be net short. oh okay and vice versa so clients are all short i mean in in general our
oxfine users like to short the daily runners nowadays because that's been paying them a lot
recently like they shorted like starting uh please jibli but sometimes like they just keep running for longer like tickle
and it wakes a 45 mil i think that was pretty fast move and fat as well
wow that's a big bounce
i believe in tick coin this stream brought to you by Ticcoin.
We can only be sponsored by assets with like multi-billion dollar market caps.
We can't make Ticcoin sponsorship jokes.
We can make gold sponsorship jokes.
This stream brought to you by the US dollar.
This stream brought to you by Tether.
This stream brought to you by Blazinbot this stream brought to you by tether uh this
stream brought to you by blazing bot we can be we can be sponsored by blazing bot uh
oh did you guys see that did you guys see the fd usd stuff no what justin sun said that it's
insolvent and people should get out and he's gonna do a press conference today at 2 p.m singapore time to uh tell everyone
well that's interesting it's like a that's like almost binance's
project right or am i yes yes look at the chart of fd usd it nuked to 88 87 cents
now it's back to 99 cents.
Dude, this is such a funny fucking post.
Look at this.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Another traumatizing day in crypto.
Yeah, then CZ retweeted that uh that arbors can redeem fd usd so then did trx do anything on that on that announcement did it move any no trx is just stablecoin yeah at this point also one of
the best charts in crypto yeah by a long long shot on the justin sun owns like 95 of the best charts in crypto. Yeah, by a long, long shot. Justin Sun owns like 95% of the float probably at this point.
Yeah, and it's burned so much too.
Even on lower time frames, it looks good.
Look at the one month, yeah.
You're crazy.
I don't know if i can do one month here
yeah that's godly charm this is the real eath
imagine if tron flips one day but then coinbase still won't list tron
wasn't it listed at one point i thought it was never been listed okay he tried really hard in 2017 to list it but then they were like not listing many coins back then like like what is
one of the only ones and then when he tried again that they're like oh you already were you know
this is just like a geth fork because back then you could not list it on the basis that it was just a geth fork uh but then they started listing tons of evm forks anyways uh like l2s and stuff so
that one didn't carry it but then like so like phantom and tron because they tried in like
those days um yeah but it's like a double standard basically i remember in 2017 some serbian scammer came
into our discord voice chat and started saying like you must buy tron like it's going to infinity
it's go and then uh it went up like a 15x and then he came back every week for like two months
like gloating about his tron call and i faded it for literally the entirety of last cycle because
i was so pissed
off at that guy and now i'm looking at it and it's like i would have made like 100x holding this
this coin god damn it i try actually had a lot of innovation last cycle in 2019 like on chain stuff
but the problem was that whenever something would do well he would try to like make his own version
of it that was better or he'd try to like get the team to work for him. So over time, he couldn't attract the ecosystem.
it is a good BD style
other types of stuff.
Just not for DeFi.
I just found out today that the
ETH core devs are actually launching an L2
that I didn't realize.
It's like Surge or something.
Surge.wtf.
I thought that was kind of interesting.
Is that good?
I think it's kind of the same thing like what you just said
where they're making their own
version of stuff and maybe not
that great for attracting builders, but
I don't know.
From a decentralization standpoint it's
probably good yeah this this is just a disgusting chart how have i never seen
like i literally all of tron season never looked at the tron chart tron season air quotes
it's actually crazy how much of it is just that one candle
well it's curling up trust i mean honestly if you just if you just say it i'm gonna i'm gonna
call this entire thing here a deviation like this still looks really good yeah it's like
there's just no sellers right i don't know nobody owns the coin to sell it
they're burning so much supply on fees too.
The crazy thing is that Tron fees are actually kind of high now compared to ETH, but people
still using Tron.
But who is actually using Tron?
Because I've never bridged that chain ever in my life.
No, it's mostly just tethered activity, right?
It's the exchange stable coin uh
a wall is reaction a lot of walls in southeast asia use tron
how much did it even sell off during that uh like it went from like 24 to like 23 and a half
like it went from like 24 to like 23 and a half during the tariff sell-off news like that's pretty
good it's it's kind of crazy to me to see a cultural split in the west and east in terms of
like who uses what with like a lot of eastern countries using tron and bmb and then on the
west where it's like no eth solana and there's actually a cultural difference
like even on chain yeah there is literally zero 24 hour volume on tron on ox.fun
we don't have tron whales yet we gotta get some on i'm gonna become a tron whale
it's along i'm gonna become a tron whale
we should just bridge ox to tron we should remince it on tron it'll be the tron beta what we should
do instead is we should not we should not bridge it but we should launch 17 additional pools where
we pair tron with assets like ox or we pair ox with assets like tron and sundog and then when you search on deck screener
there's an additional 117 ox pools for people to be confused by
see sue is the one that has like the sort of ethereal mike uh background ghosts now
yeah his are just more like ambience it's like an ambient music type thing or something
the cicada i wouldn't i wouldn't describe it as music it's very unsettling first well
i mean i think ambience is not really like people make music like that that isn't really music right the whole genre is kind of
not music i'm just i like i experience so much anxiety when i hear the beginnings of microphone
feedback now because i'm like oh god i have three seconds until this reverbs its way into
fucking deafening me but it's like his stays just at the sub level where it's like uh like it's
gonna happen it's gonna happen bro but it like it never happens just at the sub level where it's like uh like it's gonna happen it's
gonna happen bro but it like it never happens which is almost like elevating my cortisol more
I've always enjoyed the cicada ambiance
what's crazy is that Justin Sun funded FTUSD so publicly and then Binance didn't seem aware
that he was going to do that.
And now Binance an hour ago has released an FTUSD attestation report.
What is FTUSD?
First digital USD.
It's just a stable coin yeah is it like migrate they were trying to migrate
like all their pairs to that right or something yeah it's a hong kong based trust company
like last cycle that there was busd right and that was paxos and then like paxos stable coins
got shut down by the government
so but it didn't have one anymore and now they try to do a stable coin again throughout the usd
um every exchange should have a stable coin it seems
it doesn't hurt i mean it's especially with like rates right now. It's like free money, right? If you can attract capital.
And I mean, every exchange kind of has the moat to like just use their own.
It's kind of like Athena, right?
Where like they could all have their own Athena.
Wouldn't that be like almost trading against their users though? Well, I mean, that is also what a market maker is already.
That's quite shocking to see.
So like First Digital did a statement immediately.
They released an attestation report confirming backing.
And they said they're going to do an AMA as well.
It does seem just like really dumb to not be solvent right now as a stablecoin.
Because you can already just make so much money just like buying treasuries or whatever, right?
Like why would you attempt to mess that up yeah maybe they just froze justin's money and they didn't let him redeem so he was going nuts on
them yeah it does make you wonder why he did that so publicly this is a little rough
that still looks great, actually.
Whoa, we're at the level.
The one we put in yesterday.
I think that was two or three. It might have been five days ago.
All the days just blend together now, man.
Well, it stopped. yeah what stopped
yeah this is just an extremely depressing chart
this is like the inverse of many of the meme coin charts i think
i think it's like pretty much exactly most of the meme coin charts not the inverse
the inverse would apply that that guy that guy who was shitting on the toilet uh like
hosting vlogs from the toilet with his like 18k coin i guess it literally did like a 30X, 35X.
That's so funny. You can literally do anything to pump a coin in these conditions.
You can actually live vlog yourself on the toilet.
What's your excuse, man?
Yeah, what's your excuse, Incel?
My shit coin goes 30X yours just sits there yours is 80 and you know why it's because it's because i had the balls
to sack up and start streaming from the toilet
if he was serious that's what he would do. He would just start streaming. He wouldn't
release videos. He would like do like multi hour long streams of sitting on the toilet.
Yeah, I actually, I had a few, uh, one of my videos from like the, uh, lifter, the lifter
influencer Lucas phase. There was a video of me, uh, in like a bathroom stall uh fake crying over like uh it was some like
made up incel reason uh and then just chugging chugging a bottle of maple syrup that sounds
painful man holy shit no dude it was so good it was like right after a workout and i was
like oh like i feel i feel i got potassium refilling my muscle. I guess if you're sufficiently glycogened out.
But just static, like swallowing a whole bottle of maple syrup.
That sounds like a dire hitting your stomach.
Okay, Asia Open Red Sea.
What do we think about this?
What do we think about this?
Are we going to get the Asian bid here,
or are we going to get the Asian reverse bid? Are we going to get the Asian sell everything?
I'm just going to hope it goes up.
I'm just praying for up at this point.
I've had enough.
I'm going to be honest, man.
Asia's been outbidding the US boys recently.
Asian open has been so much
more bullish than the u.s open did not used to be this way the chinese are bid mogging us
we've also just been getting absolutely nuked at the u.s close like every day yeah it's getting
pretty tiring open a long live on stream i don't have any
of my accounts set up here uh this is all like guest account stuff so it's like uh but i should
i should open a long i had a couple yesterday glycogen recharge so fucking true
i don't know what fxi is is he a genius or is he retarded i don't know what FXI is. Is he a genius or is he retarded?
I don't know what it is either.
Asia buys the discount. That honestly is the way that it's gone a lot of the time. Like Asia does
buy the US sell quite frequently. FXI is more or less just Chinese S&P.
frequently.
I is a more or less just Chinese S and P.
Oh, oh, okay.
So we're just idiots and we don't know even very basic levels of Asia.
I wouldn't trust us.
I wouldn't trust those guys who don't know what the Chinese stock index is on financial
It's probably a bad idea.
Dude, I think I'm actually going to buy Tron
after looking at this. This has now instilled in me a ridiculous level of conviction.
It's a good chart. I mean, I don't know what else to say about it.
Yeah. I mean, it could also become a very bad chart with like two candles
i remember during the bear market i got like obsessed with shorting tron for some reason it
lost a bunch of money i was like shorting it seven cents or something and i would have been
i've become such a uh like a bull on any accumulation chart because of MOG specifically.
Yeah, that range around 20 mil.
Where were they?
I honestly want to find…
You got to go to the DEX chart.
Go to crypto and then…
Yeah, I'm just going to say.
I probably have to just look at the…
No, no, no.
You can look at it on TradingView.
I mean, you can do whatever.
But it is there on TradingView, the Uniswap pool.
It was like...
Where was it?
It was this.
Yep, yep. where was it it was this yep this this exact pattern is the thing that like
i just i just now buy this whenever i see anything that looks remotely like this like if it's if it's
going and you're seeing a uh you're seeing a higher low every time like i always fucking
punt because this like giga laser candle after that uh and then i i like i think i tweeted
somewhere in uh like here i was like oh my god mog looks amazing and then i didn't i didn't even
buy then and i wake up the next morning and it's like it's like a 3x up and i'm like my god dude
like i did it again i fucking shilled before filling like i'm too old
for this i should know better for shiller kill that was definitely like a crazy move i was i
remember being pretty euphoric that was like right that was like eath denver when that laser candle
went up to like yeah what else kind of looks like that now i think we have
like bear is kind of doing that yeah you might look like that a bit um jt o jitto looks kind of
like it from my memory i was doing the dumbest thing of all time during this like i was literally
like like buying here and then selling here and then buying hereish and then like buying here and then selling here and then buying here-ish and then like selling here and
I just kept doing this for increasingly smaller gains and then it came up here and I like sold
and then it like did this and I was just like okay well congratulations on your eight consecutive
six percent scallops Lucas That was really good trading.
You've completely missed a literal 50X in one week.
Take me back, man.
That was a good year. Dude, that was an insane year actually yeah that was like the dead ass middle of the bear market too
i don't know about that dead ass and not the laser well the uh the accumulation range some
of it was but like the laser candle was definitely not. Yeah, yeah, that's true. I think Bitcoin just went to like 16.
Mog, Pepe, all of the Remelio shitcoin season,
that was deadass middle of the bear market.
Yeah, when they first got launched, definitely.
One of the most profitable periods of my entire life.
All good coins basically launching the bear, right?
All the building.
All the building down in bear markets.
Let's see who's up the most today.
Ghibli, wow.
That's good.
I think OLP is pretty long, Ghibli.
That's what I thought.
EOS pumping.
EOS. Wow, this actually is...
You know, I gotta say, it is kind of amazing that the Ghibli edit shit is still going on, right?
I feel like it's kind of dying down, finally.
I think it's gonna die off.
I mean, it's dying down, but it's like...
I'm just amazed that it has continued this far.
Yeah. down but it's like uh i'm just amazed that it has continued this far yeah i still do did see a
couple like posts today that went pretty viral with it like someone posted a gibbified apple
chart of it just nuking it's kind of funny orca doing good lucas do you know why on on on live stream on x like it shows 4.6 k on my hosting and 1.2 k
on yours how's that counted because it's aggregating across all of ours so like each of us are running
our own individual streams so like uh if you look on it's like enzo has 176 viewers, you have 4638, I have 1268.
So that's like my followers who clicked it, basically.
Yeah, they streamed it off your profile.
Oh, well, let me press my face.
Yeah, but all of us have our own individual instance of this stream.
instance of this stream. Like in the end, they're all seeing the same thing regardless
In the end, they're all seeing the same thing regardless of where they click it.
of where they click it. But like, yeah, we each only show it to our own audiences. There's
actually a weird thing going on where like the ratio of my followers to your followers
has been fluctuating extremely heavily. There was like two or three days ago where for some
reason like we were almost exactly equal.
Just nobody was clicking on your account.
But it appears that they're back again.
I was wondering if it was like some Asian holiday or something.
Oh, Antoine is streaming, making thousand dollars a day trading meme coins live
we have to we have to get sappy in here and uh we have to compete with antoine
it might be hard though he's actually been pretty good i think he's actually good and he has this like stock chain software to track wallets yeah no antoine is just actually uh
it's like that meme of like you have to find a thousand follower guy who like
has the giga alpha and he's like secretly a genius and stuff but it's like uh Antoine is somehow like
a handsome like large platform guy doing all of this stuff like uh extremely ethically and like
high uh both high conviction and like high alpha.
And he still will frequently get less viewers
than like some random fat scammer
who's just using people as exit liquidity.
I don't quite understand.
People relate more to the scammer.
He speaks to those. There's just almost no metric by which uh
by which he should have uh as few followers or viewers as he does like everyone i should find his thing we should just chill antoine this stream sponsored by Antoine. Fuck. I can't, I only remember his YouTube
handsome finance. Uh, it's like an, I'm sure you can find his Twitter on his YouTube.
Yeah. Oh yeah. I think it's this one. Oh, look at this. He's got a fucking overlay. He's got like a heads up display of what he's doing.
See, look at this. He has 560 views on this.
It's like less than one 10th of ours. and all these people are making one million dollars i shouldn't say this everyone's gonna leave our thing to go to his
anyone that's like still capable of regularly making money trading shitters in these conditions
is like superhuman as far as i'm concerned like i'm definitely not that guy like
every time i make a trade lately i just lose money because everything's like I'm definitely not that guy.
Every time I make a trade lately, I just lose money because everything's nuking to shit.
It would be fun to just be a trading stream
or to feature trading heavily.
I think the problem with being a trading stream,
it's like you do, I think,
attract more followers or whatever.
And people are more interested because now they're like motivated by like, oh, I can
make money by doing this.
But they also get very mad.
There's almost no way in which you can do it that they don't get very mad at you.
Like, if you look at all the people who are trading live on stream, those are the people
who became like very broadly hated when the market started turning down.
Like those are the people everyone was calling to be sacrificed.
I don't know, man. People will cope how they will. It's better to just...
Well, yeah, but it's like when they start coping by beheading you with a chainsaw when they see
you at a conference, it's like a type of coping that you're hoping you avoid, right?
Well, my only response to that, has that ever actually happened? Have we lost any crypto,
any traders to chainsaw?
I do think we're
getting to the point where like crypto people are going to start experiencing more like broad
violence uh both from like robbers and at conferences yeah like did you see like the
amaranth thing where she got like pistol whipped for bitcoin and then like her fiance shot the dude
you didn't see that i thought she shot the dude no no
she like led the robbers into like their guest house or garage or something and he was i mean
are we sure it wasn't staged yeah she's like she's like a world historic uh like every yeah
like everything she does is fake streamer yeah but i think it's like she like released police
reports and like video it seems pretty real she was like all beat up i thought it was fake at first
too but like i mean everyone's i can't believe you didn't see this lucas how did you not see
the drama with her like uh getting abused by her husband or something like that popular streamer
amaranth revealed that she shot and scared off a group of armed
thieves who broke into her home during the night demanding access to her crypto assets
she showed her like ledger or whatever her bitcoin holdings on stream yeah her coinbase account
she had like 30 mil or something in btc that was really retarded yeah it's like
art is yeah it's like not that smart not very smart oh wow footage what is actually the best
like offset i mean the best opposite is let's say what you're getting hypothetically if one
of us would be very secure like obviously some sort of combination of multi- stigs maybe like an npc wallet maybe a few stash at weird locations
i don't know
just make sure you're well armed is what i have to say make sure you're well armed
yeah i mean it does like they are saying that right like she blasted them
i think it was her it was her fiance that did it but yeah
wow she's claiming credit for even shooting the guy this bitch is just
fucking unbelievable yeah i mean it is actually pretty crazy that um
she was able this is exactly what we were saying by the way women act and it lists they they uh
women enact their agency through men
all the time like she can't even shoot her own robbers
like in theory a gun equalizes everything right a gun makes a woman just as strong as a man but
for some reason the man is still required to shoot the gun like they all talk about like
equal rights and they can't even shoot their own robbers. Pathetic. But it's like, I'm sure she'll custody her own Coinbase account,
but she won't shoot the robbers. This is a clear pill podcast. you must understand the nature of the void i mean i'm pretty clear
pilled on this uh on this video it looks fake to me like actually i don't know man there's like
why did they try to rob the guy got shot also like they literally shot one of them and he's
like bleeding out as he's running away like uh i actually don't think it's fake research i'll make my bet it's fake
this would be like it seems like a barely like reasonable thing to happen though like you you
flashed 30 mil online and you get robbed like that doesn't seem that unreasonable at all well
a lot of people are flashing 30 mil unreasonable at all well a lot of people are
flashing 30 mil online though and not a lot of them are getting robbed but yeah but are they like
supremely face docked with like a known location and yeah and the woman the white easily overpowerable
there's been a lot of there's actually been a lot of other instances of like people getting
robbed or like murdered there's that one guy that like got cut up and put in a suitcase i think
happens to the best of us
average day
my thing is just if you haven't been cut up one four percent it's very suspicious that like
like even even granting that this is a thing that isn't uh super rare you know it's it's it's merely
uncommon rather than rather than not unheard of um the fact that it managed to happen to her
just uh makes me very suspicious because this bitch
isn't that just like more it's like more it's like more likely though because of her high profile
like that makes it like there's there are tons of high profile like streamers with like known
locations like uh that hassan guy um like everyone knows where he lives he's never been like attacked
you know well i think someone
else just get a lot of it also depends on the audience who watches your streams right so it's
like if you looked at those people who were like robbing her like those those are probably a large
portion of the people who are watching stream well you you make an interesting point in that like
they're the the these uh these content creators or whatever the fuck you want to call them
they also kind of depend upon the notion of who their audience is right and like she has taken
it like like that's what i'm saying like i i'm i'm more i'm more bullish on it's a scam theory
because of who she is specifically because she's done this before like i don't know how like aware
you guys are of the drama but like yeah yeah yeah this is her marketing boy yeah there have been multiple times where this person has claimed
that she's been like attacked or abused or something like that and she has specifically
marketed it to her fans who then will like send her like millions of dollars like when she did
the scam about like her husband abusing her or whatever which ended up being completely fake
um a couple days later she
posted like a letter from a guy who's like like like her anonymous guardian who like gave her
like like a commission for like some bodyguard and sent her like 50 grand like in a suitcase
to like uh so for so she could like uh she could like get out and like unmarked bills or yeah or
something like that so she could just so she would be like dependent on anyone or like or something like that right like that was
probably fake too right but like she has been doing this for a long time and like and like
very and also like in scams very reminiscent of this one if it is indeed a scam yeah but i mean
in this case there's actually a lot of evidence like i saw i saw the blood on the i saw the blood
on the tiling outside i still
i still uh think it's fake like at a certain point she would have had to like make it even
the police i think they arrested the guy like they they caught the guys i think you do yeah
but i wonder who's to say that you didn't uh pay the police off also like it would probably
if you think about it if you think about the total revenue generation capabilities of a scam like this she could probably pay the people involved like uh two
to five hundred k and still be guaranteed that it's going to be like a net roi for her
how much would you have to get paid to get shot like i don't think that's how much would i have
to get paid to pretend to be shot no i thought i don't we there's no footage of him actually
getting shot there's footage of them going there is yeah we there's no footage of him actually getting shot there's
footage of them going there is yeah no there's actually footage of it no no no that's just
that's just footage of people dancing around with a gun in their hands or with a gun in their hand
or something like that there's no footage of uh bullets actually going into people right it's all
on like grainy like 140 piece you know it is pretty grainy you're right about that it's like a
bad security camera or something yeah i don't know like there was skepticism over whether the trump thing was
real or fake and that was like way more like video confirmed than this right so it's like you should
you should be able to like uh entertain some degree of skepticism over this one i guess i've
i guess i've already just like deter like come to the conclusion that it was not fake even though i
originally thought it probably was.
This is just a principled counterposition on my part, though.
I'm going to claim it's fake regardless.
Justin's son bailouts are infinite.
What does this mean, VV?
Infinite immaculate accumulation.
What is he saying to me?
That was when we had the MOG chart up.
It's like Don's accumulate pump video that went super viral 2500 ox credits to get shot personally
he's starting from a very low position
he's he's starting from a very low position in the bargaining
in the bargaining
new marketing ploy
we got victor vinegar
so the way that would be
that would be like really funny ox marketing
it's like after hefe dao like we've
decided that like
instead of just like freezing funds
we're going to be
we're just going to shoot you like we're going to be sending the men in
suits for you like If you try to exploit
us again, expect lead.
Someone actually was asking about how the AUX credits worked yesterday, Sue. Maybe it
might be a good thing to explain yeah yeah so right now the way it works
is it's just you can use it as margin and it's worth exactly the same as one ox like one ox
equals one ox credit um but it can't be staked in the vault yet on some feedback we may actually
start to do the opposite where you can stake it and you can restake it in strategies whatever
olp whatever and get uh as if it's one ox
and then in six months it all gets all ox credits get minted to ox basically and then we were
announcements but uh we'll do that soon and then we'll also lower the ltv on ox credits because
we realized that some some people are like gonna wash ox credits into ox like across the two
accounts and then they basically get
opening clothes or something yeah yeah like they go long short and there's just so many bangladesh
autists on the platform so you know what i mean like the we had this one dollar a day promotion
a few months ago and then immediately got like thousands of like bangladesh guys making youtubes on like opening ox fund accounts to make one dollar
so yeah so ox credits will be good for like it's basically the same as ox except say how so well because I have I have like an innate desire to hedge things just
like not even because I'm great at hedging but because I it just appears to be what my brain
does it's like you're very indecisive like you should hold both directions of the position at
the same time somehow. So now everything.
Well, now OLP has forced me to have all of these different multidirectional positions by holding it.
And so I'm like, well, I must hedge the other direction with my discretionary account.
But I'm like, how much and in what ratio, right?
Like every day I wake up and I'm just like absolutely shackled by this neuroticism
over like what would be the optimal hedging strategy or like do I even need to hedge or like
it's horrible. Like what is the point of holding meme coin shorts now in a discretionary account uh
when you're you're already like in olp which is going to be short the most longed meme coins
right like do i really know better than the market makers historically no uh
in the past like definitely no currently probably still no in the future probably no also
tough to say yeah
i actually do admire like how hedged you are at all times.
I don't think I've ever... Well, very rarely have I ever hedged positions.
I'm generally just one direction only.
We're just in cash.
You also admire the way that I have largely not experienced any large moves in my net worth this entire cycle.
I mean, there's something to that, though.
You're just slowly grinding up like that's
probably good i had like one or two pretty decent wins that it's like okay like uh that will carry
my desire for gambling uh it's really like all you need right like yeah like giga was a good one
retardio was a good one uh mog was a good. It should have been 100 times more good than it was,
but because I'm a pussy, it was only so good.
I mean, realistically, I only have a few massive ones to cycle as well. It was like Mog,
Lockin, and Bitcoin Puppets. Oh, Bitcoin Puppets was huge, but I don't count it because that money
is now in my self-directed ira
so like i don't even count that in my portfolio it was like do you remember that time when i was
just like i just learned about self-directed iras guys they let you buy fucking bitcoin puppets
ordinal nft knockoffs and oh so you're gonna i'm gonna go all in on them because i think this will
be the thing that like most upsets my mom and makes money that was actually a great trade yeah i like shoved those pretty hard i had like
half a percent of the supply of the collection at one point yeah yeah i i uh i bought them at like
like day the launch day basically like a couple days after launch i could have done much better
on that there was a point where like the creator at some at some point came out and tweeted like uh racism is bad yeah he
basically he basically made a tweet that said like edgy racism is bad and then bitcoin puppets were
like half of it and then from that exact point they just went straight down for like eight months
like that was like the actual picotop talk about not knowing
your audience i think he was also a milady too before that like i think he hung around in like
milady village there's a parallel universe where he said racism is good and it mooned it is it's
funny also like um i was working with pseudo at that point and like
we had always he had a eth collection before that was uh i can't remember what it was called the
you should we lost money on that i think right yeah we yeah i was about to say this is the one
that we got raped on together it was like uh i think i still hold those actually no no because i uh this was the one where i held so long
that it eventually had like a reverse pump and i like got my initials out and i still hold like
three or six of them or something uh but anyway we used to use those ones probably still in one of my
wallets like test nfts uh because they were so worthless so we have like a bunch of them sitting
in liquidity pools at like zero dollars practically and like as soon as bitcoin puppets launched they all just got like
scooped like if we would actually like had those withdrawn it would have been crazy yeah let's see
i'm gonna gonna figure out what these are lasagette god these these were yeah yeah lost how do you even pronounce that i think he's like
is he french or loss i get loss of getty i don't know i remember reading threads on like the the
thesis of why these must go to like some percentage of uh some percentage of the Bitcoin puppets market cap when the rotation occurred.
It's the silver to Bitcoin puppets gold.
It was literally when the bridge occurs, right?
Because it was like, we're going to bridge these to like the Bitcoin chain.
But it's like, what is this?
What am I looking at?
Like he's wearing a cock hat.
It's very like old OG ETH NFT.
Why are they all wearing cock hats?
And these are the ones that are like left on ETH that are worthless now, basically.
Wait, did you ever make the bridge?
Yeah, they did the bridge and then they closed it. So all the ones that are stuck on ETH are just like stuck there forever now.
Sounds familiar.
Yeah, that was honestly like a really great top signal for just Bitcoin ordinals in general.
Because like when people start
pumping an asset that's on Ethereum because of like how bullish Bitcoin NFTs are, like
that's kind of a tell, right?
Like, yeah.
Remember like E-scriptions and like AVACs inscriptions?
I think AVACs inscriptions is always the top.
Like when there's AVACs in like the version of it, it's good.
Rare sats.
When I learned about rare sats, I was like, this is very reminiscent
to me of the people squatting like an ENS, right? They're squatting like an ENS that's not remotely
common or desirable. And it's like you have a rare sat and your wallet is classifying it as
a rare sat because it's like, this was a Satoshi that was gifted by this person you don't know to this other person
you don't know in the year 2017 during the historic event of this market's acquisition
of this exchange or something. And you're just like,
you're telling me that this money is worth more because it was used to bail out an exchange?
Well, it's kind of like um what is the term
it's like you know there's like rare pennies and stuff like that like nu mesence or something uh
somewhat similar like there are like certain coins that are very valuable because they're like rare
um i like fully believe this is a thing that people believe is a speculative trait that the market may value.
And I believe that for currency, that may be the case.
But it sort of loses the glory when it's a digital thing, right?
Yeah, that's true.
It's all just pixels now.
It's not like...
You don't sit there and say, I'm holding the penny that Abraham Lincoln used to carve his fake wooden teeth or whatever.
You're like, it's just a, it's a thing on your phone also.
Ordinal's definitely just like saved me this bull run because, uh, I was still like fairly
heavy ETH.
Like I had gotten exposure to other stuff at that point, but
then I hit the Bitcoin puppets trade like crazy. And just like all of a sudden I had way more Bitcoin than I've ever had. And I was like, well, what am I doing holding all this ETH?
And I just like- I remember there was a point where you started caring more and more about
Bitcoin than ether. And gradually you joined me in my uh, Bitcoin is like the only real coin.
Like this is the greatest, this is the greatest, hardest asset.
Uh, and it wouldn't have been for like catching that ordinal's pump.
I probably would have like bag held each a lot longer.
And you flipped, you flipped conviction a lot sooner than me too.
Cause I was, I was like, you know, I think ETH may still do something. Right. Uh still do something right uh and you were like you know like fuck it i'm not holding this shit anymore
like i'm just selling it all out uh definitely was a good move like looking back yeah but uh
i'm very grateful for this because i just i just actually with um yeah same i actually wish eth would have done
something because like it's still like uh one of the first like assets that i actually liked in
crypto you know like i think that a lot of people are like just have that like emotional attachment
to it still yeah everyone does kind of want it to do well like even when i fought it the
fud is not out of a place of like i want everyone holding eth to go to zero it's like uh i'm fighting it because i'm trying to like spiritually enrage it
into going up right through the bottom right try to trigger the bottom yeah it's like the prodigal
son like i i made a post about this like so long ago actually like i made a post about how i've
been trying like every trick in my lucas book of
like rage reversal counter trade lucas pump tricks uh to get eth to be like mad enough at me that it
would finally start going up again and like i made this post probably like 18 months ago and it still
is going down like i don't know i've never i've never been so unable to cause a real coin by footing at the bottom.
Lucas finds out he can't move a $200 billion asset.
I don't think I can move any of them necessarily, but I think that I can be a good enough inverse
indicator that when I'm feeling like max pain, it usually has to go up, right? Like,
I'm a really good bottom seller and a really good top buyer. If I just buy off of my pure instincts,
I'm like the perfect normie. E aí like this. Like this is just so sad to look at
like i'm just begging it like at this point i'm like on my knees like please please just stop
going down
i said it's like the prodigal son coin
we all want it to come home but
until it does
no reason to bet on it
in my humble opinion
of course speaking from my own incentives
I sold and I'm never buying it again.
Oh, these are so sad. This is like, I'm feeling the same feelings I have. If I imagine like what
it would be like to be one of those guys is posting about like, I fumbled my like high school love. Like, uh, I had everything that I needed and I didn't know it. And now it's all
gone. Like that's, that's the exact same feeling I get reading this post. It's like you imagine,
it's the fucking Futurama episode where the guy's dog is is he's waiting there every day for him to come home but
he never does yeah kobe tweeted this uh like chat gpt thing like if you ask ai how would you calculate tariffs
um and then they said sure just trade deficit divided by total imports
my president what a beast E aí i did like that one you did about like how uh
like vitalik is the antichrist and ethereum is like the devil incarnate or something
remember you that was also me trying to foot it into fucking going up like genuinely like almost
the entire time you've known me sayuki i have been working my ass off to create a bottom in
this goddamn coin like i've been i've been pulling out all of the stops like i'm calling the founder
like the antichrist and saying that everyone who
transacts on the chain will go to hell.
It just is what it is, man. It is sad
though because it's like...
The main use case of Ethereum is selling.
Ethereum was the first and last coin every token launch
since has been somewhere between a good coin slash great coin
like at this point it's just not even like it's just like getting very sad at this point you know
to like continue dogging on ethereum
it's like making me depressed and i'm not even i don't even hold the asset at all
oh my god dude what were we doing you remember this and yes i'm long
it's just like yeah we i mean we both did this a bunch. This was in September 8th, 2024.
What was the price at that time?
2,000. 2,000.
So like higher than it is now.
Yeah. Oh my God. lines 2000 so like higher than it is now yeah oh my god this i think this was us dude
oh yeah that's that's definitely us some sort of like protection squad for each other
you can see my fucking voice to text a aetherium my it missed my cell
yeah for the longest time i thought you were just like misspelling it on purpose to trigger people
but then i realized it was just your uh yeah your voice to text that is a new funny fud though
you've completely forgotten how to spell it like i don't even yeah like it's like uh you you spend
all day thinking about me i don't even know
who you are it's so irrelevant we forgot how to spell it
i don't know what ethereum is what is this ethereum
it's actually incredible how many posts you've made about this
like that's what i mean like it somehow still gets engagement too like uh it's a true love
but i mean these are all like super that's the other thing these are all like world historically
low engagement posts for my account and i'm still making them just like for like,
I'm like the,
I'm like the old man screaming at the wall.
Nobody is like 65 likes.
Nobody's listening to this.
my average,
like lowest liked posts will be like about some fucking like my new
intricate detail about kitchen knives.
And it will get like 300 likes
literally nobody wants this content i'm doing it as like a method of catharsis and therapy for myself like it is kind of true though right like there's some truth to that there is like that's the other
thing with ethereum it literally works better when the token costs $4.
It used to be like almost free to transact on.
Look, 25 likes. Who am I posting this for?
Look, 25 likes.
Who am I posting this for?
It is interesting because you're almost like, you're like not really a crypto account, like in general.
Yeah, I guess that's true. Maybe that's why no one's liking it. Maybe everyone would secretly.
Oh, that was also us
and what was that sorry what what was that at
that was probably this this was dude this is amazing this was at 0.03 like 0.043 like you
you were literally down 3x versus bitcoin at this point like you i think that's when
i finally capitulated so fucking late to that trade and you still raped so hard it's insane
probably and then look at this look at this look at my response
yeah you were right and we we actually did like the next candle on that i remember it was just
straight fucking back down it is it is interesting like going back and looking at your tweets um
after the bull euphoria is kind of faded and everyone's like sobering up it's so low effort ethereum is gay
it's very telling that like uh every stream we just like end up falling into just
shit talking ethereum we literally cannot resist it's too fun it's too relevant again 45 likes this is for nobody like you can you cannot accuse me
of posting this for engagement like i know that nobody will engage with the guantanamo
rape house ethereum validator node post.
That one just gets like cucked by the algorithm. Cause you use the word rape probably too.
It's like.
Maybe Ethereum is going to zero until Frank D gods,
Frank bridges D gods back.
It's crazy that that didn't even create a bottom.
Sometimes when I think about the Ethereum foundation,
I get really angry and worry i might
do something bad it's like threatening the ethereum foundation like please do something
there was somebody else you were like like vaguely threatening for a while i can't remember who
it was pac-man. Oh yeah, Pac-Man.
This is the art that I was generating while holding the video.
Yeah, that was the tweet.
That was the tweet I'm talking about
where you said it's like the Antichrist.
Ethereum holders brainwashing themselves.
it's like the what it feels like to chew five gum but it's like what it feels like to hold
ethereum the ethereum death aura you buy you buy ethereum and instantly die
that's a nice level
this was at 2800 by the way damn near 60 higher or something
if you hold ethereum you're a loser okay Okay, well, I cannot find the tweet that I'm looking for for the life of me.
And I'm just going to stop because it's now been like 30 minutes of me scrolling like Ethereum Doom porn.
You actually made it all the way through.
through. That was the last one right there. Really shocking, I guess. The other funny thing
That was the last one right there.
is still whenever I post almost anything, I guess this stopped two or three months ago,
a bunch of random retardio profile pictures would come and say, you're just saying this because
you're trying to like shill ethereum
foundation like assets or something and i'm like what are you talking about like i have
fudded ethereum harder than like literally anyone in this entire industry like you were definitely
like an early adopter to saying ethereum is dog shit you should just banner the if you hold ethereum you are a gay tweet i should yeah like uh i i mean because we were all in like the lady remelio etc group chats where
like everyone was like an ethereum devout like hold out like oh my god like and this is the
future of everything and do you remember how mad they got at me when i was like guys we should use
solana like we should try solana. I remember last cycle.
It was fast.
It was fast and you don't have to pay fees.
And they just got fucking pissed at me.
And then now it's like we could have actually just printed generational if we had flipped over at the point when Lucas was like, I'm too poor.
I don't want to spend the Ether fees.
Ethereum is the future of finance, man.
Yeah, I genuinely got so much shit in those circles for building on Sol and having an app on Sol.
It definitely should have been a better signal to me that I should have just full ported at that point.
Yeah, like Tim Clancy repeatedly saying, oh, you are evil and have no soul or something.
Yeah, yeah. You just know like these people are gonna lose yes anyone with that attitude is just gonna
lose that energy is just it's like it's an it's a magnet pulling every single eye every single
clothes lower than the previous one and it's still like there are still people that had like have
that attitude which is just insane to me like they're not building anything like that's the
crazy thing like all of the actual builders left ether like eath denver you talk to everybody who's
building anything and they're like well i'm building on this l2 and you're like why and
they're like well you know and it's it's like they're just going to like ETH Denver to hang out with their boys who used to like be ETH bag holders.
But now they're all building on like SWE or like Aptos or fucking Soul or something.
ETH Denver and nobody holds ETH.
That literally was this year.
Pretty much was exactly what it was. Yeah. Literally, it was this year. Pretty much was exactly what it was.
I mean, I was at ETH Denver, bro.
I was there.
Sue's going to come back and be like,
are you guys still fucking shitting on ETH?
Good lord.
I mean, this is a goal.
It's like we're at a level and this is a goal, right? He says, my goal is to outhold the ETH Foundation itself, even after they get liquidated.
No, no. Let's check in on AVAX.
Let's see what this thing's doing.
The thing is, with AVAX,
no matter how bad it is,
if you chart it versus ETH,
I think it looks good.
That's like a truism.
Not really saying anything there.
Yeah, this actually
didn't make a new low, right?
Yeah, dude, the AVAX chart looks better than
Yeah, Sol made a new low during that whole
era of escapade.
Well, maybe not, because I think, didn't it go
Yeah, I guess it wasn't quite
a new low, but it's...
I mean, I guess right now,
if we put in the low right here
for most stuff, it's like a higher low.
That could be good.
Yeah, that is one way to view it.
Just kind of cling to that idea.
So I'm not suicidal.
This is like, let's see.
I mean, if you get really precise with the lines, it's like this may.
Maybe this didn't even break the level. Right. Let's see. I mean, if you get really precise with the lines, it's like this may, uh,
maybe this didn't even break the level, right?
You just have to redefine the level a little.
Just make the line thicker.
Yeah. With a thick enough line, like, uh, that supports pretty strong bro it's a lot of esoteric charting practices they
don't teach you in school kids you always want to make the support line green also don't
make a red really yeah hmm if you make it red then the chart is scared to touch it again
oof that's not great sue told me to claim my airdrop and i did like right around here and
i was like oh my god like it's a this wow i actually like am getting it at a fair price
and now it's at this price which is maybe it's also a fair price, but it's not fair to me.
Did you sell it?
No, I still haven't sold my airdrop.
It wasn't like a big enough amount of money that I was like, I was just like, I'm just
going to hold onto this and see what happens.
I guess I'm seeing now.
Look around, find out.
The whole point of the coin was to incentivize people to shill the airdrop.
Why are you holding it now?
Well, if you'd told me that one week ago, I would have just sold.
But you didn't.
And so now I've been convinced that it might have utility by posts that I read to confirm
my biases.
So I'm going to keep holding it and losing money probably.
Don Kryptonium is saying sick.
Unsure of what he means by that. Yeah, so is it over? Let's look. Let's look at a...
Is what over? Is everything over? Like, yeah. Is it all over?
I hope not, man.
Wait, the stock market is up? This isn't making a lot of sense no that's way at yes is that like
55 53 right now so that was like maybe at the close yeah you got to look at the futures chart if you want. Current price after hours.
Yeah, it's 55.57 right now.
Yeah, quite a hilarious after hours drop.
It is funny that Trump waited for the market to close to rape everybody.
Trump's been doing that a lot.
He doesn't like to operate during market hours. He likes to play around when Trump's been doing that a lot. He doesn't like to operate during
market hours. He likes to play
around when everyone's in bed.
He's really giving the TradFi
boys a little bit
stim shock to their balls.
Yes, he is.
Every TradFi community I'm in is
really, really not happy right now.
Yeah. Even the pro-Trump ones. like try if i community and is like uh really really not happy right now yeah even the even the uh pro trump ones i have noticed i have noticed that they're starting to get a little mad
he was supposed to pump our bags man what happened supposed to be the golden age pumping our bags
but they're dumping and then he's pumping them and then they're dumping harder and then so it's like you know i think you did good buying vix right
like i think you did good the one thing you can say about trump is that he increases volatility
in all markets yes it honestly is like retarded of me to have not just bought vix like outright
because there was never any point in my life where I was like, I think Trump is going to like decrease volatility, right?
Yeah, it's up 13% in the last six months.
You know, a lot of these like theses, I just didn't have enough conviction to like invest in maybe like five years ago.
But like, it's just really obvious, right?
Like, why not buy VIX when Trump's coming and it hasn't repriced for that yet?
People always forget about the volatility indexes.
I think it's just because.
I always just forget you can even trade that, right?
Well, yeah, exactly.
typically can't you only can you actually buy like is there like an etf that tracks it i thought you
had to use like options to express no the one we're talking about vix it's a you can buy vxx
right yeah okay but these trend towards zero but they just have big spikes it's kind of like buying
puts basically yes exactly so you have to time it but there's like vol strategies that people do like you can
short some some like big cts long other ones that was one of the first strategies that i was doing
when i started out in finance yeah they're cool instruments they're cool there there used to be one called tvx i don't
know you ever heard of it but it was kind of a crazy one tvx yeah credit swiss note volatility
note tvix oh daily 2x vix yeah this was crazy because they halted creations on it and so the thing went to huge premium
over its fair value everyone got hosed that's so badass
so ultra short vix yeah i mean ultra short vix looks really good until it blows up in one second
basically i may have bought some ultra short vix today
that's a good trend if you think it's going to calm down it's a very good trade
I mean it has to calm down after this right right this is worse than 911 right
it uh I think it was kind of a trade to be honest i like bought it in the morning frankly thinking
that uh he would uh like it would uh like the tariff analysis would happen like during the
market and i was thinking it would kind of just not be that big of a deal and things would calm down
so i think i will lose money on that trade. Hmm.
Well, it seems that the markets are causing everyone to be a little sad.
Why is this on our feed?
What is the Oxfam feed following?
The market caused that.
The market switched.
That's the market right now.
Maybe we should go back to
talking about how to find love now.
Because it seems like financial success is being tabled for a while.
I don't know.
Does love correlate with financial success?
Probably in some way, but it might be inverse.
Because it's like we were talking a few days ago about uh like the meta right now how you
probably don't want to tell a girl that you're like into crypto or whatever it's probably on
average on average like a negative ev strategy um i think that the the stock market is like more uh
like just like trad fight right it's like a little bit more
respectable to like normies but um every once in a while it's like they'll ask like how much
have you made today or something like that it's uh oh today was like a fomc fomc meeting and i
got fucked yeah like i always just respond with like you don't make anything
until you close your positions and then they're like do you ever close your positions and i'm like
why would i close positions right and then they just don't ask more
like as long and they're like what is closing a position even like what does that mean uh to a girl like if your girl knows what closing
positions means uh like you're in danger that's their boyfriend yeah that's like 10 bodies yeah
10 bodies minimum boomers will get one who do you think in some months either financially or mentally
uh why only boomers i think it seems everyone involved in the
market is getting one-shotted by the tariff fractal right how can it be a fractal if it just happened
well everything is a fractal uh on some time frame right
timeframe, right? That feels wrong, but I don't know why. I just tell women I gamble at casinos.
Yeah. I don't know. Have you guys had any friends who got broken up with because they were not
talking about politics and then the girl forces them into the who did you vote for thing
and they're like, oh, I voted for the mean one
and then they're like, I have to end things with you.
You voted for the wrong guy.
Only in 2016.
Holy shit.
Ultra short VIX is up 22% after hours.
That's badass.
That's kind of cool. Someone says women see gambling is a huge
turn off. That depends if you win or not.
It's not gambling.
It's not gambling if you know you're going to win.
And then you just talk for like an hour straight
about how it's not gambling.
Yeah, I don't know. I never really experienced any of these like generalized uh like dating complaints but i had a lot of guys who i was friends with that would like you remember floyd
gate when uh there was like every guy i knew was like they they unmatched me because i didn't post
the black square like this was a thing it was like
they were like locking their pussies down to only people who posted the black square for like two
years while everyone was like locked inside during covet there was just like shit going on during uh
during floydman like like i mentioned i think it was yesterday, legit before and after,
flip of a switch,
all the girls at the gym were dating
black guys. It's the most black
guys I've ever seen with white women in my
entire life
during the summer of Floyd.
find it really hard to conceptualize that because
I've dated quite a few
libtarded women and they were well aware of my politics never really seemed to be like that much
of an issue yeah like i never i never had something either um the other thing is that like
women will frequently like not typecast you as like a standard Republican because their idea of
a Republican is like a cartoonish
meme version of it.
So if you just have enough views that are like
confusing to them,
they're just like,
I don't know, he's just crazy or something.
He has esoteric opinions.
Yeah, it's definitely a better strategy to just be weird
well my politics are weird okay you've never met a guy like me before
but also i just don't really care that much about politics at this point either
so like i don't really feel a need to like argue with someone over so it's like i'll sometimes
like play devil's advocate or something if i hear
something that's like a super poorly constructed opinion but like i mostly am not like you know
it sort of doesn't matter like unless you have like a hundred million dollars and you can literally
like buy changes to like the politics of the nation uh it's one of those things where i'm
i'm sort of unconvinced that like uh going around thinking about or talking about it all day is
going to be like hugely beneficial to you it's actually it's detrimental to do that like if you get it's like
brain worms that if you're like focused on all the time like it's nothing you can control
you're better off just focusing on things you can control well the bigger issue is that politics
is like the political like accounts and influencers is that they have like a world historic gap between
their like rhetorical aptitude, their speaking ability, their IQ, their humor and their earnings.
Right? Like they're using, they're using like an 850 horsepower engine to like mow their
lawn essentially. Especially like in recent times, like it just feels retarded to really care that much.
Well, yeah, because we just haven't historically been able to like influence that much.
So it's like with COVID, like what did you get by like reading and keeping up with it
and keeping up with it and doing all the things.
and like doing all the things?
It was mostly zero, I think.
I think at best it was zero,
and at worst it did severe spiritual and psychic damage to you.
No more so than was done to normal people, man.
That's what I'm saying.
I think the normie fallacy here is a play.
It's like normies are in agony all the time.
It actually helps to be clued in like soberly
like that's like my thing about that it's like it's there's not a lot of value in like being neurotic about politics but like politics now is sufficiently mediated that like even if you're not
talking about like oh i voted for trump um you're going you're you're going to say something
political kind of whether you know it or not or like it or not like people will just make people
will just make inferences like they will put you into a camp yeah I mean I'm not saying you should
just completely ignore it and be like head in the clouds but like it's more the neuroticism that
arises from when people just get way too into politics yeah
it's kind of kind of a truism though i i don't know like all things in moderation
except for ethereum
well there is there is moderation that should be had with ethereum right
but it's mostly in determining how many leverages you should use on your short.
I sold my house. I took out a HELOC to short Ethereum.
You're taking, I mean, the Ethereum play.
How do we feel about the housing market here?
Everyone wants to be super bearish on real estate.
Yeah, everyone has some notion that it's going to blow up any second.
Like, oh, next year, 2008 is going to commence again.
Which just kind of inherently makes me think that it won't happen.
It's like if it gets, if like a, if a crash gets like priced insufficiently,
I kind of feel like it just doesn't crash.
Just like too many people want to buy cheap.
Too many people want to buy cheap institutions kind of clue in and then they
start to modulate.
It's like.
Unless it's like truly unavoidable, like it's actually like a derailing train.
Things can.
Yeah, I feel like in a situation where like.
My house value crashes, everything else that I'm holding is just going to be so retardedly fucked that.
I'll just be happy to have someone to live.
Yeah. I cut out while i was
while i was talking about the ethereum looper play that's the looper play no my dude i was
doing the dumbest thing for the longest time where i was like taking my eth and i was lending it to
abe and i was taking the stables and i was like longing bitcoin and solana and shorting ethereum
to hedge myself out but then it was taking the the profits back to Ethereum so that I could lend them out because
they had the highest, it was like the most like liquid lending on Aave. It's very silly. It's very
silly. But also it prevented me from having to pay long-term uh or i had to i had to not pay short-term
tax capital gains tax because instead of selling my ethereum i simply shorted it while getting paid
funding right yeah and making interest on it so it was like the little interest points i was out
there collecting them what year was this this was actually actually my global hedge strategy for probably up until six months ago.
I was doing this for two years.
It was literally just long Bitcoin and Solana.
The ratio depended on how the funding was because Ethereum usually had highest fundings for some reason.
It would just have the highest funding rate all the time.
So you could short 100K Ethereum and you would be able to cover the funding from longing 160K of Bitcoin.
And in theory, you would be screwed here if Bitcoin underperformed Ethereum.
But I just bet on that not happening good bet so this was like this was like the main uh the mass of my portfolio over a very
long time uh and so i basically just got the fbtc gains as like the main multiple on net worth.
And then I suffered a lot of Ethereum deflation, I guess, because I still was holding a bunch.
Just not in that.
And then there were a few meme coins and the Oracles thing that did pretty good.
But other than that, I didn't really do much this cycle
you missed on altcoin altseason
yeah it's altseason altseason is coming on i think we had altseason everyone's been talking about mythical alt season for thousands of years
and then it happens
and they have another name for it
then they keep saying
alt season
it is a little bit tricky because like
last cycle's alt seasons were like
giga insane right
like it was not the same thing
it was like last cycle's alt season was like
okay like every single coin you hold will now do a 150x
and like i think the idea that that is ever going to like the uh
the mog laser candle we were talking about
so it sort of did happen
it did but like uh it was much more selected right like last last cycle it was like every coin if you held it for long enough would at some
point like have a pump right like it was really hard to pick a loser this cycle it's like i don't
know there's a lot of easy ways you can pick losers. Yeah, I guess that's a good point.
I think there's still more money going into it, though.
There's just more capital this cycle.
What do you think?
I think everything just got diluted.
The market is much bigger, so it needs more money to move it.
Yeah. Yeah.
I mean, there's also like a limited it's like okay you're gonna have you're gonna have one l1 and you're gonna have bitcoin right and it's like okay we're really
concentrating our pumping lasers and then you're gonna have 200 l2s and 50 l1s and you're gonna
have like l3s and L0s. Nobody really
knows what either of those mean.
All of these have ecosystems also.
You literally now magnify
the amount of things that the capital has to be
focused at by a factor of
It's like, yeah, there's more money coming
in, but maybe you could expect a 10 or
20x more, not 500x
more. 500x would be required for it to all be equal. So like.
It's kind of good though. I think everyone was right when they said the next cycle is like the
builder cycle like this current one or you mean the next one that may or may the next one like
i i think like uh the general consensus that i heard from people was like uh next cycle like
trading will probably not be the way to make it. It's like you will use the tools that it gives you to trade maybe like TradFi or RWA assets or something. But in general, the way to make
giga billions from crypto next cycle will just be building something that people use as a consumer
app. I mean, I think that's always been the best way to make it is actually building something.
If you look at the richest people in the world
very few of them got there by uh investing yeah yeah like it's actually more than 10 i think the
more interesting part of the statement is that it's exclusionary it's like it's it's like trading
will no longer like play as big a part it's like well it's like retail is just not gonna have uh it's just not gonna play as
a big a part as it used to the potential just but maybe i'm wrong like maybe speculation
increases forever and that is also like a totally valid thesis but but i i think that when people
say that like oh the next cycle is going to be the builder cycle that's more what they're saying
it's like like you're you said psyche it's like invariably like there's more value in like
building things and creating value than there is just one time yeah there's a ceiling there
yeah when so when people say like oh next cycle is going to be the builder cycle as if like other
cycles have a builder cycles like they're implying an exclusionary principle like trading is going
is going to actually like lose, lose efficacy.
110 110. It's gonna go up like even more than it already has.
So you're like ordering it a drive-through or something or?
I am at the 7-eleven
what is it taiwanese 7-eleven like
uh they're very nice i think uh i actually don't know if there's other countries that have better 7-elevens like everyone talks about the asian 7-elevens but taiwanese 7-elevens are quite high on the list implying taiwanese is not asian or
no like i'm comparing it to the rest of the asian 7-elevens i think taiwanese 7-elevens are uh
definitely one of the harder moggers epic
moggers epic everything about taiwan is honestly pretty good but uh i've stopped like hard shilling
it on the timeline because i realized that it would take very little it would take very little
expat import for this place to be destroyed completely the balance is too fine yeah there's just like it's a very not crowded place right like uh
i'm walking through this right now and it's like if you put if you put 200 cryptocurrency
traders in this city like that would actually decrease my happiness by like five percent
i'm like young enough that i've never remembered i i really don't remember a time where 7-elevens
in the united states weren't shitty people like they might have always just been shitty in the
u.s like i it's like you go to the asian ones though 11 nationalists but it's like no they
used to be amazing like back in like the before time like the 80s or the 90s or something like
that maybe they were i mean they sell like uh it's like you can go get like a yellow baked sweet potato or like uh they have like a bunch of
like sandwiches and like uh onigiri and like stuff that's all actually like decent food like
if you want to just go and say like okay like i will go in and i will buy this meal and i will
eat it and it will be done in seven minutes uh it's totally fine and doable whereas like if you do that in the us 7-eleven
you get like yeah yeah yeah i mean they have like the enzo they literally have cooked chicken
breasts like you can go and buy a cooked chicken breast for like uh it's like a 30 markup on like
what the raw materials really yeah jesus because uh i don't know you want like literally literally just pure literally just
pure like uh it has like the macros on it too like it like it's just on the front like i don't
i don't know which ones are which but you can tell by the ratio like you're familiar enough
with like the general distribution of like chicken macros but it's like okay like this one's slightly
fattier this one will taste like this like uh and then you can tell based on what some of them have like sauces on them, but it's like after, after a lift, if you
forget to like go, uh, and like, uh, bring food or something, it's like, you can just go in and buy
like a 80 grams of protein for like $5 at the seven 11 and just eat the chicken breasts.
Actually the first day I came back to Taiwan, I was doing this in front of Sue. Uh, he was,
I was like, Oh my God, I forgot.
I'm like being like a raccoon person eating like the,
like unheated raw or the unheated like seven 11 chicken breasts in front of
you. Like, uh, forgot I'm back in polite society. Now I can't be doing this.
Yes. yes the notion of uh like gas stations and corner stores and everything selling food that doesn't uh immediately fill me with dread is pretty novel honestly it's quite nice you walk into a come and
go here like a 7-eleven or something and like you walk over to the hot dogs, you know, how they have like the hot dogs is warming up and you can just,
you feel sick as you approach, as you approach the hot dog incubator.
They have the hot dogs here, but they're actually, you know,
they're pretty good.
They also have like just like tea eggs and like chicken and stuff like that.
And I mean, I told you this before, you pay all your bills at 7-Eleven. they also have like just like uh tea eggs and like chicken and stuff like that uh and i mean
i told you this before you pay all your bills at 7-eleven like when i get my like water bill
and my electrical bill i go to the 7-eleven that's the most alien thing i've heard and they only
accept cash it's like this with like phone bills and stuff too right uh it might be but i think
that gets lumped into my rent payment so i don't notice it but i also
pay my rent in cash there's there actually is kind of funny um like i was living in pennsylvania
for a while and they had some there was like sheets which is a gas station restaurant that
was good they had like pretty good food so it's not like completely unheard of in the U S but.
Yeah. Like,
you can still,
Costco still kind of rocks actually.
even in the U S like not necessarily,
there's a price point where like even the shittiest food actually becomes
and I think the,
the dollar 50 Costco hot dogs,
when you're in like a high cost of living city,
like something about your brain just says like,
this is such a good deal.
I don't even care if it's like filled with like microplastics
and like endocrine disruptors
and it's going to like rape mate forever.
Like it's like, it's the cheapest rape you can ever buy. are eggs in taiwan notably better you mentioned this yesterday
yeah uh so thinking about it the main the main thing the main thing is just
that they don't have those dog shit eggs that most like in the u.s like if you get the shittiest
version of a product like it can actually just be pure poison and i think eggs are one of those
like the the 60 the 60 pack of walmart eggs you get for like four dollars or whatever like uh
i think that's actually just going to trans you instantly.
Whereas the lowest price you can get for an egg in Taiwan,
it's much less cheap than it is in the US,
but it's almost impossible to get one of those dog shit rape eggs.
Those eggs are fine, actually.
Once I finish the 120 of them that are in my fridge i'll agree with you yeah i mean i i eat them too also many times like i do think there's a large amount of eating
dogs that you can get away with uh but it just needs to be like a little bit calculated right
like uh like i figured out you can actually just live off of like chicken breasts and rice for a very long period of time. And you only notice that you need vegetables and like a
bunch of leafy greens, when you start experiencing like the notable signs of micronutrient deficiency,
like you start getting muscle cramps or aches or headaches or something. And then you can just go
and buy like a bunch of like broccoli or kale or whatever the fuck, and just like munch on it.
And then you're
good for like two weeks right yeah that's one thing about the uh the vitamin grift in the
united states i don't know how it is in like uh that'd be that'd be interesting i wonder because
uh the vitamin grift is huge right now like basically across the entire west like it's
bigger industry than it's ever been before i'm curious how big a market is in like asia and like taiwan or like mainland china
or whatever um i get the feeling it's much smaller but it's like that grift like kind of depends on
you having some like uh i hesitate to call it insecure that's like the word that comes to me it
actually is kind of like appropriate like some insecure notion that like you're just constantly like uh um deficient in something it's like oh well almost almost everyone
even if they're like perfect well yeah like almost everyone even if they're perfectly functioning
believes themselves to have uh some sort of like health problem at this point right like uh yeah
like i i tell this story about my friend who all the time like thought that he had low t
and then he went in and got himself checked and he actually had like giga Chad, like unheard of levels of IT.
He just didn't like being a software developer that much. Right.
And like, there's people who will be like, Oh, like I'm so tired.
Like I, I myself thought this for a long time. I was like, Oh my God,
like I'm so fucking tired all the time. Like, and then,
and then everyone was like, Lucas, like how, what do you do? How are you so high. And then everyone was like, Lucas, what do you do?
How are you so high energy?
And I was like, huh,
maybe I've just read a bunch of neurotic internet posts
and ascribed random symptoms to myself.
And you're also unhappy
because you're working at some fucking annoying job as well.
No, I wasn't even unhappy.
I just assumed that like,
I just assumed that like,
wow, there's periods of the day where I'm tired. This must be like a sign of something. Right. But it's like, actually, I think it's just a very bad level of understanding of like the basal level of like the natural energetic fluctuations that you appear. Like everybody has like a natural
rhythm. Like I've learned now it's like there's periods of the day when I'm like really high
energy. Like I really kick on between like, uh, like somewhere between five and 7 PM at night.
Like that's my like optimal time for like recording a podcast or talking or anything like that.
I'm really social then. Uh, and I can keep going really, really, really, really late. But I should not like I should go
to bed at 11. Almost nothing good happens after 11pm. If you look back at the memories of things
that I remember in life or the things that I'm like, this was like a good decision that I like,
this really meaningfully advanced my life. And then you look at the proportion of those that happened after 11 p.m it's like uh none right like maybe maybe the only example will be like if you conceive
a child it will probably be after like 11 maybe uh but like other than that i don't know dude
actually even that i would say probably conceive in the morning probably some uh mumbo jumbo there's
a reason there's a reason you wake up with a boner right
yeah i definitely have like a rule for myself about this where i don't
make big decisions late at night like it just never ends up well last night was one of the only nights that i did it well actually when i wound up staking olp i had like 88 the stream brought to you by OLP yeah yeah really I think I actually I think I
actually lucked out because there's usually like a one hour ish time delay on when you stake and
when it actually goes into the bowl so I think it even pumped a little bit after I went to bed
but I was sitting there thinking about it for like two hours like I was just looking at my phone and
uh beloved housemate was sitting there
what are you doing?
And I was like,
I'm ruminating.
Like I'm deciding,
I'm deciding how to move around.
Interrupt my rumination.
please don't interrupt my ruminations.
I'm cooking.
It's hard to explain also.
Interrupts me when I'm pondering.
I didn't necessarily hate it. She was, I mean, she was pretty good about it she didn't like uh bother me or anything but i think she was just curious about like uh it's like you see the guy looking
at the screen for like two hours like deep in thought you're like what is he thinking
right it's like uh it's like just a combination of 600 neurotic thoughts simultaneously.
I eventually just decided though that like,
I was too euphoric.
And like, even though, like the directionally,
the directionally accurate thing for me to do at that point would have been like,
sorry, the more like even hedge, I guess,
should have been like stake it all
and then take like a bunch of the ox credits I have
and just like dig along Bitcoin
to like hedge out that risk.
And I decided not to do a big Bitcoin long.
I instead only did like, well, I don't know.
I think I added like 20K or something
just for the culture.
I love Bitcoin. I love Bitcoin.
I love Bitcoin so much.
I can't stop thinking about Bitcoin.
That's like actually me now.
Every time I look at the Bitcoin chart,
I'm just like, I love you so much.
I get hard whenever I look at that chart.
Yeah, it's really good.
And it's really nice now also
because I do just have such high conviction that overall Bitcoin dominance is a safe thing to bet on at this point.
Well, I think that there's something that underlies that, namely that the entire market assumes it and it may in fact structurally be depending upon it.
Maybe. fact structurally be depending upon it maybe i just know that for the last like six months or something if i bet on uh like if i think things are going up you can just bet on bitcoin going
up and you'll catch most of the move uh and if you think things are going down you can also just
bet on bitcoin because it will go down less than everything else. So like,
like look at,
look at the ETH charts versus like the ETH chart,
the Solana chart versus Bitcoin right now. Right.
Like I don't even need like total two versus total three or whatever.
They're like both markets versus Bitcoin dominance,
Like I just,
you just look at the charts.
One of these is much stronger.
And now I can literally just long the coin with all of my hopes.
I agree. Yeah. It's real. Real fit. i agree yeah
great corn
there will have to be a reversion presumably right like bitcoin dominance cannot just go up to like
120 so i'll probably get my ass blown out at some point but
I don't know man I think it might
I mean it literally cannot go up to 120 percent right? Like Bitcoin cannot make up 120% of the cryptocurrency market dominates.
It can if ETH trades at negative prices.
That's happening tomorrow, by the way.
They start taxing you on electrical payments as bits of Ethernetwork.
they start taxing you on like electrical payments as like bits of either network
ethereum goes negative and the foundation just ships all it's like all its validators it controls
to like the first person who trades the first person who trades on the network after it goes
negative yeah once ethereum once ethereum trades below zero
dollars for the first time the ethereum foundation is going to get back to its roots and start
building seriously what do we think of that l2 that was mentioned earlier in this uh in the
stream the one that they're launching yeah it seems like uh i i i think we've we've obli we've
talked about this directly or obliquely enough like over
the last like two weeks or something like that like it's just you're you're an L1 like if you're
if you're building if you're building like your own uh L2s and services on top of your own L1
then you're just like pulling like market share away from people who would otherwise be building
on the L1 right it's yeah I don't think it really ever works out.
It's like, you've already said like all of the builders have already left.
So it's like, yeah, exactly.
Like I do, I do actually, I do actually think that, and it's also a very different
situation when you're looking at like pump fund building on Solana versus anyone
building on Ethereum, because like pumpFun is genuinely building something that is bringing
users into the ecosystem, right? Like there, there is a broad network, like, like wealth effect
that happens because of PumpFun activity. With the Ethereum L2s, I think it's much harder to
make the case that any of these people are bringing users to ethereum i think like the number of
people who like used blast l2 but didn't use ethereum already is probably zero
yeah that's a good point i also have some some notion that a lot of the people who are
actually like using ethereum l2s don't even necessarily know that they're ethereum l2s
yeah i mean what is an l2 like explain what an l2 is
are you asking me seriously i i mean it's both a rhetorical question and yeah sure like i mean
i i don't really know it's like theoretically it's like this is a faster, like lower security
network that like settles to the Ethereum mainnet in some sort of package bundle, right?
Like in theory, in general.
Yeah, that's pretty much it. I could go in more detail, but we'll just start hemorrhaging
viewers. Like literally nobody wants to hear that.
And then, but like, what is an L3 now? What is an L3?
It's the same thing, but it settles to the L2. But it settles to an L2 that settles to an L1, right? What is an L0?
A marketing gimmick. It's a bridge, essentially.
What does anyone need to know any of this about realistically to transact
like the only meaningful distinction comes if somebody is worried about the security of an l2
and such like such that they want to use an l1 instead right right yeah and i think l2s all have
enough security for the average person to just say like i am comfortable
transacting on this and holding assets on it like very few people would be uncomfortable or would
yeah like be uncomfortable holding their assets on base uh versus like which is actually like very
incorrect because uh why well because it's literally um it's what they call like a level zero L2 meaning
like at any point in time
Coinbase could unilaterally
rug you take all your money
zero your balance out
it's only governed by like a
multi-sig that's completely
operated by Coinbase
so like it's
the idea that
L2s are actually inheriting the security of Ethereum is actually just incorrect with the current state of L2s.
Like there's not a single popular L2 that can't rug you unilaterally.
Because they implement their own security in the smart contract or lack thereof?
It's actually just because they're permissioned enough that they can...
Everyone's all worried about a bug, right?
A bug freezing everyone's money and they can't get it out.
So essentially, they allow themselves to upgrade the L2 contract via a multi-sig.
So three of seven people or five of seven or something can push updates to it.
But that has the effect of like
uh they can rug you they can just rug you and take your money yeah like exactly what happened
with bybit could happen to all of the major l2s right now there's not a single one that that
wouldn't uh apply to so that i mean that's i missed everything i just missed everything. I just missed everything for the past three minutes.
It's fine.
It was right when I was saying, I think that it is correct that people maybe mispriced in their assumption that an L2 is just as secure as the L1.
But it's one of those things that's sort of hard to price in as a risk until you experience uh what goes on with the risk right it's like everybody trusts sexes with their
money until they experience like an incident where they shouldn't trust the sex with their money
right yeah it's something you don't think about until it's too late
yeah it's actually a lot of like uh fintech firms that are kind of like having
that are kind of having like the same problem where like none of them are like technically like fdic insured people assume that
they're banks but they're not and then they just like go under and people lose all their
fucking money thinking that they were insured um and but they weren't
but this actually sort of happened with like uh genesis and uh celsius and stuff like that right
like people thought celsius was like a bank yeah we're basically presented
finding out why there are financial regulations from first principles here
like yeah we are becoming trad fi and we love it
this has been the meme of we're just like recreating every trad fi asset like a lot of uh
a lot of crypto innovations in terms of oh but this is like uh and then it's like uh
re re re re re staking is just three hypothecation uh
that was another dumb thing that I bet on working.
Oh, the eigenlayer thing?
Just restaking in all forms.
I was like, wow, this is going to be so awesome.
Think of my yield points.
Explain to the folks what restaking is. Like what versus staking like what what's the distinction there uh you're you're basically like
leveraging it out multiple times in different ways uh exposing yourself to like exponentially
increased smart contract risk while also earning an additional 0.9% APY.
Well, that's genius. I'm going to do that.
I did this for a very long time. And then I looked at the mechanisms being used to generate additional yield. And I was like, wait a second. Like, this is like, this is really like,
not that smart, like, in terms terms of risk exposure.
I guess the idea is that you can do
additional consensus on top of the L1
by restaking it.
You can run another network on top.
That was the general idea.
It's not really being used for anything useful right now.
I mean, a lot of it is like, if there's no velocity of money on the networks being used
anyway, then you don't really need to be doing it.
There's a lot of ways in which markets can be made more efficient by flash loans
or acute mobilization of capital. But if there isn't anything going on on the network
that would require people to be moving funds quickly, the value of a thing that allows you
to move funds quickly and have a highly liquid pool of funds able to do this is like for down, right? It's like, if you're in a pool and you're like pooling, you're LPing
assets, but the pool has like 0.7% utilization, you're not going to be getting great APRs for
being in this pool. Yeah. That's just like crypto in a nutshell right now right like a bunch of useless infrastructure
remember when ox was considering an L3 what change uh we should still do an L3 there's
no reason why we shouldn't have an L4 on top of that L3 and then L5 on top of that L4
just work all the way up to the chain until we
admit the world's first l10 ox chain was a thing for a while there
yeah i bridged some money to it and then forgot about it i bought like i bought like a meme coin
on ox chain um i think i just literally vaporized 5k like i iK. I don't even know if I got my money off
the chain actually now that I'm thinking about it.
There's a good meme coin though. It was like XOXO. It was like a nice m'lady like i love you site uh unfortunately i was one of seven buyers so
Good stuff.
I remember telegram meme coins because I tried to like buy them.
And this was when I realized that like, first of all, the integrated telegram wallet is
literally not even like a telegram company app, right? It's like some third party
thing that's actually sort of like scammy. And then also you can't even use it unless you have
a phone number that is within one of like seven countries where it's allowed to use the telegram
blockchain. So like, it's one of the only ways in which people are meaningfully location gated in
all of crypto, because in almost every other case, you can just VPN around it. It was almost impossible for me to
actually bridge to the Ton blockchain. It was just so fucking hard. And I also wanted to do this
because I was like, oh, I get a $7 discount if I buy on the Ton blockchain, if I buy my Telegram
premium subscription instead
of buying it on Google Play. And I wound up actually trying to bridge for 90 minutes and
failing to get a $7 discount. And at some point I looked in the mirror and I was just like,
what are we doing? What is any of this for?
like uh looks at the camera any of this for like how jewish are you dude yeah yeah that was you're
How Jewish are you, dude?
saying just the wallet that's like built into telegram though because there is a like tom
keeper you could just use that yeah when you go and you look at telegram like there's like an icon
that will appear sometimes like the wallet button and it's literally like not made by the telegram team like they that's like an
enormous security risk allowing somebody else to be like they also say that they are not the ones
that launch the network or like are in control of the network it's like a plausible deniability
thing like when in reality they did um i don't know. The only thing I did on Thon was they released those NFTs where you could
sign up for Telegram without
a phone number. It's an anonymous
phone number and it was on the chain.
I bought a ton
of those in the middle of the bear market.
to use one because I refused to use Telegram
because of how bad it is about leaking your metadata.
It'll show your number to people. but anyways i ended up buying a ton
of those and they like they went up like 300x or something like i bought them for like eight
bucks a piece and they went to like four or five hundred dollars yeah i know a lot of guys who
bought like telegram usernames or stuff and they did really fucking well. Like the ton meme coins is like the only thing that made me remember that I bought
all those number NFTs and then just like start dumping them basically.
Like when I saw it on the timeline, I'm like, oh yeah, I have these things.
We were doing like a super cycle space and some guy came in and told me about how we
made like generational wealth off of telegram numbers. That's crazy.
I should have bought more.
I only bought like 40 or 50 or something, but then they did like such a ridiculous multiple.
They just like float through and they just hit you with this like absurd alpha that you've never even like, like no group chat I've talked about or I've been in has ever like even mentioned this mechanism of making
money and then they like give you like a 30 minute rundown on the whole thing and then they just
disappear into the ether. VV's asking about telegram metadata leaks like yeah they've been
historically pretty bad about like uh like I don't know like also like your settings can be very
weird and if you don't set them up
in a specific way, like telegram will show your actual cell phone number to people you may not be
aware of or want to see. And then by default also, like if you share your contact info,
it's like, you have to check a box so it doesn't share your number. Like I was just adding people
to my contacts all the time if I called them. And then at some point I was getting calls on
my real phone number from like crypto people that I I barely knew. And I was like, wait a fucking minute.
What is going on here? Yeah. I basically refused to use the platform until they came out with that
anonymous number thing. Yeah.
I still don't do that usually, but I have enough burner phones and burner numbers.
There's always a way. I should make a. Like I should ban the ETH chart from.
From the stream.
From the stream.
Just don't need this in my life.
It's definitely a good.
Maybe that's a good habit for sure.
I just keep looking at this chart.
Like this one also looks pretty good.
But you can't really chart it.
I guess maybe there's a support level somewhere in here.
Like this, it was...
We have a support resistance flip down here.
And then now we just had a breakout.
We're retesting all-time highs.
Something like that.
Yeah, it's at a level.
I'm charting yield.
We should start charting birth rates, actually.
That's going to be depressing.
It's like asking TradingView to support fertility rates by country.
I wonder if trading view has it
i would there's no way trading has it no there's no shot
it's like the ethereum chart why do you think birth rates are going to go parabolic bb that's
pretty crazy prediction like what's going to cause that well at some point they have to right
i dude i posted i posted like a poll about like who do you hate more like indians or chinese
uh and then someone's like and they tagged like the oxfon account they were like didn't know that
beyond being scammers the oxfon team is also racist and i was like what do you mean you didn't know?
I'm no scammer, but I am racist.
You object to one, but not the other.
It's like tagging the Twitter account that made casual racist merch.
Did you know this guy works for you? The way that you made a poll asking people whether they prefer Indians or Chinese is a disgusting level of racism.
It does not demonstrate the values of financial markets.
Where's the finance? I can't find it.
Let's see.
Okay. That's fair actually that's a i'm willing to just accept that at face value yeah i mean maybe maybe many of us have children this summer even
yeah it's possible yeah it's definitely possible a lot of uh pregnancy scares in our lives recently
i don't really i mean i guess when i was like in high school or whatever but i don't really
understand at this point like a pregnancy scare i know that's the thing like oh god like it would
be so awful if like the person like oh no with, with, if I had kids, I mean, the main thing, the main thing is like, it's scary because it's like, well, I'm on finasteride now.
So whatever sperms I have are like giga nerfed.
So like it would be ideal if I had six months of no finasteride.
So I don't have like retarded, retarded, like gimp sperms.
Do they like do, um, they'd like you on hcg and stuff as well for
finasteride or is that just like it nah uh hcg i actually think is like another one of those like
ah this is really not great like i used it one time uh when i was like 18 or something when i
was i think it was like when i was trying to uh oh yeah after i'd done the fucking deca
cruise and i was coming off of that uh and it like it really makes you uh like super womanly
uh there's a lot of weird emotional side effects like interesting yeah there's people are like oh
yeah just take hcg the whole time that you're on cycle or something and it's like uh like you're
kind of you're kind of saying like what if we condensed like giga estrogen and then injected it right
into our balls forever? Right. Like, uh, like I think HCG is literally like sourced from
like the urine of pregnant animals or women or something like it's like, you know, you
just don't want to be injecting pregnant girl
pee and saying that this
won't impact my emotional state
what's wrong with pregnant girl pee
not much if you're not injecting
it like you can do lots of other things with it
you just don't want to be like IVing that shit
the stream brought to you by pregnant girl p
yeah the stream this stream brought to you by water sports
oh i'm getting tagged by it.
I didn't have a scare.
I am not having a kid out of wedlock at Lucas Fish.
Now she's having like a pregnancy scare scare where she's like scared that I'm accusing her
of having a pregnancy scare.
Soon it'll be a pregnancy scare scare scare.
Yeah, it's like an L3
pregnancy scare.
Wait, that was your
voice saying that?
This time it never settles back to the main network.
What's the value proposition
of a pregnancy scare scare scare scare
how much would this trade at on the free market what's the fair market
has anyone in crypto thought about tokenizing this
do you remember uh people are still doing the oh we should do uber on blockchain by the way
like still there's many people when you teach them about crypto they're like You remember, people are still doing the, oh, we should do Uber on blockchain, by the way.
Like still there's many people when you teach them about crypto, they're like,
dude, what? So you're telling me we can just decentralize transactions? So what if we did decentralized Uber Eats? And it's something that everyone in crypto by now has like basically learned like uh to just refute
on the face of it like they don't even yeah yeah like they don't even they don't even bother saying
like why it's a bad idea at this point they just say like just shut the fuck up man yeah yeah shut
the fuck up don't ever say that in front of me again. Never talk to me again. But it's like you don't actually want to decentralize something that needs to be centrally controlled, right?
You need there to be central control over Uber drivers or else they just will commit theft and robbery and rape you when the market deems that it's price efficient.
Uber drivers are perfectly efficient market actors
there's nothing this happens all the time in the u.s where like if you get like a long uber or
something like i've had them be like oh dude like i when i accepted like i didn't realize that it
was a three-hour drive it doesn't show you bro it doesn't show you, bro. It doesn't show you. I don't know, unless you're going to
pay me cash. I don't know if I want to. I always just respond to this by saying, I've been recording
this interaction and you're not allowed to say this. I know that you're able to see the length
of the ride before you accept. If you'd like to cancel the ride, that will be on it, but it will
impact your reputation and I can find another Uber.ber otherwise i will not be drifted out of an additional 50 because you want me to like tip
you to drive or something uh and usually they just are like ah fuck okay i'm gonna be sitting
in the car for three hours with this guy like i think they can only see it if they're like, like good.
Like if they have like a lot of ratings,
then they like get more information on the ride.
Like newer,
newer drivers.
They can't,
they actually can't see.
That's super funny.
I don't know.
Fuck them.
I've never used an Uber.
I kind of really on principle.
Just like I've never done DoorDash or Grubhub or anything like that it's just uh that's even more insane to me really yeah dude i i probably spend
like i don't even want to know on uh doordash yeah so you got a straight up fucking like five
figure doordash airdrop man i've never never done any that. It just like bothers me at a, at like a temperamental
level Uber less.
No, it's really, it's really good for like, uh, getting dropped off at the airport in,
in the town of my first house. Cause it's like, uh, it's like a 90 minute drive. And
I, I frequently want, I I've learned by now that when I fly out of there, I usually just
leave the country for like a year or something. Uh, And I don't know it at the time. Right. So there was a time where I
like left my car at the airport parking lot. And then they started calling me and they were like,
hello, sir. And like, I had been ignoring the calls because they were calling me on US hours
and I was in like Taiwan. Right. So they're calling me in the middle of the night. I'm not
seeing anything because I have my shit on D and D Then at some point, they finally get a hold of
me and they're like, you've accumulated $19,000 of parking fees. We're towing your car. I
was like, oh, fuck. I forgot about my car. And so I had to work that out. And it's like, it was, it was silly
because like, they were telling me that the amount of parking fees I owned were like more than like
the car was worth in the first place. I guess you can just keep the thing, man. It was what?
You're like, I guess you can just keep the car. That was basically what I said. I was like, oh
yeah, I was like, I don't know. That's more more than the car is so i don't really want to pay it uh and from there they started like bartering with
me right because they were like well fuck wait we don't actually want to have to like deal with like
this now like we we like if you call their bluff you know you can do the sam hyde thing like uh
oh geez dude like my leg bro bro like i got i got this thing bro it fell on my foot i'm injured man
like i don't i got these meds i'm all loopy bro you're on the pills bro
how much did you end up having to pay yeah how much
that's still a lot. And damn.
Yeah, it wasn't ideal, but it's like, it was my bad, right? Like I did just fuck off and leave the country and like leave my car parked in like the,
the short term lot where they're charging me like $120 a day or something.
So like, and there, there was some like goofy fee where it's like, if your car is here for
more than three months, like we're allowed to charge you $10 million. So yeah, they got me pretty good on that one.
Yeah. Game is game. Like airport parking lots. So now it's like, I always just Uber there
because it's like, God knows like how the fuck long I'm going to be.
Yeah. It would never occur to me to like park my car at the airport and fly away.
I've never done that once. I did it for years and years.
And then at some point I noticed, because I like Enzo, I just don't think of Uber as an option,
partially because in that town, Uber literally doesn't exist. Like you actually cannot get an Uber from like, if I, I, I missed several flights because when I learned this and I was like,
wait, like it was after this exact incident where I like almost got my shit towed away. I was like,
I should just use Uber. What the fuck? I'm an idiot. And then, uh, so the next time I scheduled
an Uber ride and it said, okay, your driver will pick you up at this time. Be ready here.
And I'm like, I'm ready there. I'm waiting. And then it just says like, okay, your driver will pick you up at this time. Be ready here.
And I'm like, I'm ready there. I'm waiting. And then it just says like, we're calling your Uber driver. Like we're summoning them. And it says this for like 20 minutes. And then it says,
we failed to find your Uber. And I was like, what do you mean? Like I scheduled the thing.
Like what's the point of scheduling the thing if it just like-
Because your perspective Uber driver was like- You know what's even more of a scam- if it just like your perspective Uber driver
was like, you know, what's even more working off all day.
What's even more of a scam is they actually charge you more to schedule it ahead of time
by like a significant amount.
It's like, it's like, thank you so much for making our like logistics and transport chain
easier on us on the backend.
You get to pay a hundred percent premium.
30% premium. It's like an extra service though bro i have like
legitimately considered in the past like completely switching off driving and doing uber only but
it just doesn't work because i like fast cars too much that is nuts if i didn't like cars
i would totally do it uber everywhere yeah yeah and oh yeah and like other
countries it's like hilariously cheap sometimes like i remember paying like two dollars and like
columbia for an uber like across the city yeah this is one of lisbon's actual strengths like
many things are not actually cheaper there but like ubers are definitely cheaper uh those were
all like two dollar ubers also um and uh yeah no uh, yeah, no, but I, I, I missed the Uber and I
had to like reschedule my flight over and over and over again until eventually I, I literally
just like called up one of my old coworkers from my old company and said, like, I will pay you $600
to drive me to the airport right now. And he, he was like, well, I guess that's more, that's more
than, uh, that's more than the value of my PTO if I were to cash it
out. So it's a fair market trade, right? Really silly. I think I got to go, guys. I'm crashing
out. That's fair. we hit three hours yeah three hours
we broke 9k viewers even though sue is off gooning somewhere nobody knows uh i've been like low
energy the whole night i've been like half alive i almost i was gonna say enzo seems like he's
dying a little yeah i almost i almost skipped this one i've been feeling like shit all day
if i if you had an aura ring i would be interested to see what your biometrics
look like i recently broke 40 into the 40 bpms on my resting heart rate so we're back
we missed the opportunity on the valentine's deal
i'm actually bullish on aura versus ring con again because i looked into the amount of uh
the amount and the methods that they use for their training data.
And I do think that Aura actually has better algos, unfortunately.
We have a hypocrisy saying, I only order Uber Eats when it's a torrential downpour outside,
so a minority has to ride their bike through the rain.
He's getting these boys rained on. The problem that though is like when you order from uber
eats uh and you get one of these uh drivers right it's like there's many ways in which you could
theoretically like uh punk them epically i guess but in the end you're punking yourself because
now you're paying them 50 to spend 90 minutes gooning and then smoking weed in the car with your food that they deliver
cold. So like, it's one of those things where it's like, you're hurting them, but like you're
hurting yourself more in the end. You're like an enabler at that point.
Yeah. It's like, it's like getting into some like PR war with your ex when you're like a
billionaire. And like, uh, it's like over the, it's like when you were dating, it was like,
you had $10 million. Uh, and it was like, maybe this was worth your time. And now you're like a
billionaire and you're still just like, but it's like, she, you keep seeing the things that she's
saying and it keeps triggering you. So like, you know, you see her like FOID group chat leaks and
you're like, wait, this bitch is fucking lying about me again?
I must go on a PR
crusade against her. And it's like, well, actually
you can, I don't know, you can
just ignore the retard Foyd.
You can just act like she doesn't exist.
It's always good life advice.
Yeah. Take care, guys.
I'm going to pass later.
