Hey guys, hope I'm audible.
Hey there, we're just going to wait a few minutes as more people join.
Sure, perfect.
What's up, guys?
Hey, Brandon. All good, buddy.
August said, I sounded different, but I think it's because I'm eating a sandwich right now.
We'll give it another minute, and then we'll go ahead and get started.
All right guys, we'll go ahead and kick things off.
I'm excited to have a danger exploit from Swiffy, some context.
There are decks that's building on Nibiru chain.
I'm really excited to be chatting with exploit today as we get to learn more about their decks,
what they've been building the last few months here, and yeah, just get to know the team a bit better.
But before I get started, I just wanted to do a quick intro.
I'm Brandon. I am the head of growth here at Nibiru.
Been with the team for over a year now and, you know, just leading a lot of the go-to-market
initiatives, work very closely with the BD side, as well as just, you know, general
engineering to kind of do like product launches and whatnot.
So I'm really excited to be chatting with the Swiffy team.
They, I think we originally were approached by Swiffy in our community Discord.
I recall just like managing the channels and then saw someone from their team reaching out.
And since then, they participated in one of our earlier hackathons and we're the top projects.
So really excited to see that, you know, out of post hackathon, they've been continuing to build.
and we've been supporting them fairly closely on their soon launch.
So they'll be launching alongside Nibirut EVM once that goes live.
So exploit, feel free to provide an intro.
How about take it away?
Thanks a lot, Brandon.
Thanks a lot for the perfect introduction.
And thank you for all the kind words.
Hi guys, I am Danger Exploid and I am here representing Swiffy and just to give you a little background, I have been in this D5 space for around half a decade and I have been handling the marketing efforts for Swiffy recently.
And, you know, I have taken up roles as a product manager as, you know, marketing head, BD head.
And that has been my background, complete Dgen.
And of course, you know, that is a little bit about me.
And just to give you a little bit about Swiffy also.
So as Brandon beautifully mentioned, we are, you know, native techs building on Nibiru chain.
We have been doing pretty good strides in terms of the development progress.
And yes, we are all set to, you know, launch as soon as possible.
And of course, we know we'll keep you guys updated.
Thanks a lot, Brandon.
Thanks a lot, Nibiru team for having us here.
Incredible. Well, so before we get started with the questions, I wanted to quickly ask, why danger exploit? What is the background behind that name?
Brandon, that's very tricky man. I don't know how to answer this. This is something, you know, like, I have been asked multiple times.
So that's why I didn't change it because, you know, it of course becomes, you know, conversation starter in most of the calls and something like that.
But to be precise, you know, just don't, just so don't, I don't get judged.
But this has been, you know, my, what should I say?
This has been my game attack since I was a kid during my teenage phase.
So when I got into defy into like the Dijan phase, so my all the IDs, my discord and everything was by that name, of course, you know, because coming from a gaming background.
So everyone started to, you know, recognize me with that name.
Then, you know, all that process just came through.
Everyone liked it.
You know, some complimented it.
Some asked questions that were there.
So I thought this is the perfect entry point.
So that's the funny story behind it.
Hey man, I totally understand it.
I think my username on Xbox was like toxic love.
It was like super emo at the time when I was a kid.
So I definitely rock that username grown up.
But that's awesome, dude.
And I'm glad you stuck with the name.
You don't want to hear my email, Brandon.
It's Xbox Live.
Xbox 360 Connect.
Oh, wow, dude.
That's crazy.
Yeah, dude, we'd love to learn.
I mean, before we dive into the Swissy questions, how did you first kind of dabble into
crypto and like what kind of led you into, you know, really pursuing a profession in space?
Very interesting question, Brandon. So initially, you know, as any D-Gen, you know, I was first approached by all these, you know, gambles that were playing around, right? All of these gambols, all of these air drops and everything. That got me excited. Like, you know, if this space is giving so much, this space has too much to give. So let's, why not, you know, get into it and explore a little bit more.
So that was my interest pointer.
I got through a lot of these communities.
I started looking into it, started to hold some tokens.
Then I got into consulting for a few projects in the initial stages around, you know,
2021 phase when, you know, we were seeing, you know, Bitcoin touch its all time high of 70K.
And that was the time when the market was hot.
Everything was, you know, going very jolly well.
So that was a time. Fortunately, I got into a few projects, started to do marketing for them.
And still then, the trajectory has been quite positive.
That's cool. Yeah. I mean, I love to hear that, you know, an OG like yourself has been in the space for some time, kind of dabbled in and then, you know, really fell in love with the space and, you know, decided to pursue a career in it.
I kind of have a similar background. You know, I also kind of dabbled in it early, late high school, early college. And then, you know, from there it was just all smooth sailing, right? With a little bit of rocky bumps here and there, you know, I've,
rode most of the crypto waves from bulls and bears so um you know glad that we made it so far
bandon yeah yeah we're still here right um old and uh old and wise right
Exactly, that is what makes sense, right?
We all OGs are coming here, connecting and we are all the strong guys, right?
We are not the guys who are flattened in the front.
We are the guys who have been standing at the back supporting this wave, you know,
down, ups and down.
So, you know, it's completely like a good feeling, isn't it?
Yeah, yeah.
Here we are.
Yeah, I think what really empowers me at least is, you know, thinking about how we can build products that can really revolutionize and just, you know, reshape the way crypto is currently viewed.
And then, you know, just onboarding like the next set of retail audiences.
So love to see Swiffy and Nibiru's on like, you know, the same wavelength there.
So I'm glad, you know, we've been collaborating so closely.
Cool. Well, I'll start with the first question. And this is more of a general question around just current
dexes, but what do you think is like the biggest barrier for mainstream retail adoption, right?
So you have sexes, so centralized exchanges and decentralized exchanges, dexat. What do you think is,
you know, really the barrier for retail audiences, you know, maybe not Web3 native, but
but for like maybe like my mom right or you know someone that hasn't really dabbled into the space what is the biggest barrier
so initially if you ask me brandon the biggest barrier is of course you know in going into the space is of course the handling of all of these things right it looks so different right when we come from a very centralized background isn't it yeah yeah absolutely um i
