Good morning, let's see if
I can get this thing started here, let's go like this, I'm going to come over here
and go to the mute for a moment, and let's see if I go, there we go, check it out now,
we are on the recorded spaces here as we go broadcasting live around the globe, thanks
to Metaverse Radio, and it looks like everything is working perfectly here, so now we can get
started, I'm going to go back on mute, get a couple of those tweets pushed out and then
we will get right on our way as we get ready to host the space today, I'm excited, you
should be excited too, this is Hexadize and we are live on Metaverse Radio, actually today
I've got a special treat for you, everyone out there on the Metaverse Radio broadcast,
as I do get set up here, let's see, we are going to test some things out, let's see if
we can play this track as I get it pulled up here, let's see if we can play this track
that is from some special friends of mine called Sky Boss, they are out of the Dallas
Fort Worth area, let's go like this, Sky Boss, if you haven't heard of Sky Boss yet, they
are, not that, they are a metal band, here we go, this folder is empty it says, that's
not right, so they are a metal band out of the Dallas Fort Worth area, they have been
doing amazing things here lately, they had a sold out show not too long ago, and let's
see if we can get this playing here, let's go, that is not their song, but this right
here, this will be heard on Metaverse Radio, this will not be heard right here, on the
Twitter space, but if you are listening in on Metaverse Radio, you might hear this sound
coming out, here we go, this song is called, Red the Conqueror,
that was a clip from Sky Boss on Metaverse Radio, if you are inside the Twitter space
you did not hear, you should have tuned in to Metaverse Radio to hear all the exciting
sounds that just happened, that was just the audio clip from Sky Boss and their single
Red the Conqueror, if you want to hear more, if you would like to know more, by all means
jump in, just talk to your Alexa, talk to your Google device, all your smart devices
and just say, hey, play Metaverse Radio, if you would like to grab a microphone, you can
do that, anytime, you just raise your hand, I will bring you up on the stage, this is
an open space, we are getting started here a little bit early, but we are excited to
talk about all the exciting things, so if you are here, if you are excited with us,
go ahead and start to share it out, let other people know that we are going to be having
some really cool people in here today, alright, I said we got Meta Mike, Nifty Island Music
Fest and Polestar, so welcome in here, as we get set up this morning, I am going to
go ahead and grab some of the tweets that are supposed to be up here, as we get set
up here, and go ahead and start putting them up inside the nest, so that people can know
what is going on, and what we are doing, alright, so here we go, let's go like this, let's go
over to here, and first things first, as we start to get underway, tomorrow on LinkedIn,
we will have the amazing legend of a creator, Holiday Horton, okay, and this tweet is up
here in the top, you can find out a little bit about what Holiday Horton has already
done, she was the lead artist and 3D animator on NFL game day at Sony with the launch of
the first Playstation in 1994, led teams on 12 AAA game projects, selling over 5 million
games, went on to build a game company that later sold to Sony in 2001, has 38 years of
experience in immersive media and stereoscopic imaging, that began using the supercomputers
in 1987, so tomorrow on LinkedIn, she will be on the show, again, we will be broadcasting
on Metaverse Radio, but she will be one of our highlighted guests on that show, she will
also be joining us as one of the artists and creators at South by Southwest, so you will
be joining us at South by Southwest, you will get to see some of her amazing creations,
I'm sure she's going to be designing something that's just top notch, I mean, she's gone
on to do a bunch of other things, I highly recommend checking out her LinkedIn or Facebook
page, she's also the founder of the XRAR school out in California, so she does have classes
that if you're interested in learning about creating some immersive experiences or immersive
design, I mean, well, you saw it, she's got 38 years of immersive experience, experience,
right? So, that said, she's going to be on the show tomorrow, we're really excited about
that for the Web 3 Wednesdays and what's going on over there. Today, we will have, as soon
as they get in here and people start getting ready, again, we're early, okay, we're super
early, but today we will have Apollo official, and I'm going to pin up this little thing
here as well, we've got Apollo official that will be coming in, Apollo official is the
creator, the designer of the Metabot 8, okay, currently they are designing their game inside
of the Nifty Islands, okay, so if you haven't gotten into Nifty Island yet, there's an amazing
spot where all the creators, it's got the game mechanics, I'm calling it, they're calling
it, everyone's calling it the Web 3 Roblox, we're calling it the Web 3 Roblox because
it is where all of the assets are digital collectibles, they are tokenized back assets,
right? So, meaning you can't create with just the GLB file, you have to mint it as the NFT,
okay, it has to be on the blockchain, all of these assets have to be on the blockchain,
where inside of worlds like Spatial or some of these other places, you can bring in
all of these other assets and you can build with whatever you want, okay, you don't actually have
to own it, you can create it and then bring it in, whereas with the, okay, with Nifty Island,
everything you see is on the blockchain, okay, so good morning Metaverse Radio, good morning
Tiny Elephant, welcome to the room as we get ourselves set up here today, we are very excited
to have all of these amazing people inside of our communities, this is an open space,
so if you would like to share, if you have anything that you would like to say, okay,
or if you just want to hang out with us, this is that type of place where we can do that, we do
have some special guests and people that will be in here as the time rolls on, okay, but that said,
it is an open spot, you can share what you would like to share, we can grow together, that's part
of this whole thing, we are live one more time on Metaverse Radio and I want to thank them so much,
they actually have some amazing announcements, they have been partnering up with different
broadcast channels and it's just been one announcement after the other, after the other
and I want to say one of the most recent is being picked up by Winamp, W-I-N-A-M-P,
that is one of the oldest, longest running digital broadcasts that I know of, I want to
say they go back all the way to the 90s when internet listening broadcasting was still like
a new thing, okay, but they had 83 million active users, okay, 83 million active users, so
the potential for being picked up, heard, listened to and grabbed has now, it just keeps getting
bigger, what really sets Metaverse Radio apart is their blockchain web 3 infrastructure that they
established on the near blockchain, if you would like to find out more or you want to visit them
inside of a digital, a spatial world, a virtual world, MetaverseRadio.studio, okay, you can go
visit there anytime you want, start to watch out, start to look out, there may be some interviews
or some different talks, some different shows coming from in world this year, what date,
oh no, you just have to pay attention and find out, but these are some of the exciting things
that are coming our way, now we're about three minutes into the hour, I've been running my
mouth a little bit, let me jump into some of this South by Southwest stuff so that the people
listening to the recording know kind of what's ahead, right, so we've got some really cool things
happening with with a whole bunch of different people, okay, some amazing creators, amazing
artists and one of the things that we're going to be doing, good morning human, one of the things
we're going to be doing are lots of giveaways, right, so as you're in South by Southwest, as you're
Austin and you're roaming around this year, there's going to be so much to see, their theme this year
is look into the future, right, and what better way to do that than with the XRAR revolution
that is taking place, thank you Xreal, thank you Apple, thank you Vue6 and all of the other
amazing glasses and eyewear creators out there that are making these tools, has anyone seen
what Brilliant did, I mean those little round glasses with the AI, I mean it's just thinking
amazing what they've got going on over there, but yeah so all of these really cool hardware,
all of this cool hardware that is coming out right now, and let's use it, right, so we're
going to have different treasure hunts, different types of experiences, so going beyond just the art,
there will be opportunities to receive crypto, right, who doesn't love some crypto, okay,
one of the communities, Spheroid universe, okay, some of the members have started pulling together
some different crypto tokens, specifically Seoul at this point, that they said hey we want to do
some things, so they've started pulling together some crypto tokens to give away out there at
South by Southwest, so there's going to be lots of different ways to receive lots of different things,
we will have some live events with artists such as Dope Steelo, Joshua Worlds, and just some
different, you know, again just some different music artists that will be coming in to host a real
world, you know, actual event, we've got people, Monster Vision, who's going to be who one of the
official South by Southwest artists that's coming in, they're going to be performing and showing
their work as well, we partnered up with Purple B out of Austin, their studio out of Austin,
and so one of their events at Show Me Pizza on the 14th, we will be there hanging out with like
On Chain Records, Monster Vision, so some of the things you'll be able to do is record straight
to vinyl, where that vinyl is attached with an NFC chip that gets it tied to the blockchain,
it's all automatics right there, you will talk to the team from On Chain Records with Dr. Betamosh,
who's been an amazing Web3 advocate, music advocate over the past years,
and so we're really excited to have all of these different things going on throughout the week,
beyond just the AR and the XR, but just a lot of the exciting activities that are happening,
but today, today, to hang out with this amazing, incredible,
Metabot, a creator, founder, Banana Gun, master, Apollo official, welcome to the stage,
I don't want to go too, we're going to get deep into you, okay, we're going to go way back into
the history of things, but first I just want to say welcome stage, how have you been,
what all have you been up to, this mic is yours, just go with it, just make the flow happen,
because this is live on Metaverse Radio, welcome my Metabot Ape friend, how are you doing?
Hey, what's up, heck, so thank you, thank you for having me on today, man, really,
hey, what's up, everyone, yeah, just a Metabot Ape, just hanging out, doing some crazy stuff,
yeah, so glad to be here.
You're too humble, and you're too modest, that means, so he is, I'll go into your backstory,
okay, I'll give the little, like, small introduction into who is Apollo, all right,
so Apollo official, before coming into this web3 crypto Metaverse space, all right,
the guy has the heart of community and people building for the future, and so,
when I first met Apollo was, it was, I don't know, was it a year or two, but it feels like it's been,
it's been longer than it probably has, just because not in a bad way, not like, oh man,
it's been like 10 years, no, but in like a good way, it's like, wow, you know, I feel like I've
gotten to know what's going on here, and Apollo, way back when, had this thing called the Metabus,
all right, where they were going to, they took it to, into the city, and they would take it to
places where kids maybe didn't have the chance because art was being taken out of schools,
and so they were giving students the opportunity to grow and express themselves in ways that they
couldn't, that they weren't being allowed to anymore, and so with this Metabus, they had decked
it out, he'd remodeled it, it was a real bus, and with this bus, they took all the seats and
everything out, they, at one time it was, you know, painting and pencils and paper, and as time went
on, it evolved into the virtual arts, right, the digital arts, and so they put in the headsets
where, where kids could learn how to use these tools, like inside of the Oculus and the Mediquests
and all of these types of things, to give them the opportunity to, again, not just express themselves,
because it, let me know if I'm wrong, but you are also a certified, not really, is it a counselor,
or, and help me out with the words here, if you don't mind. Well, I don't, I don't have a degree
in art therapy, so, but I, what I did was I, I became a certified therapeutic art life coach,
so instead of me going to a whole art, like art therapy, I, I switched it around, said it's
therapeutic art, and I was able to get a certification for that, so that's what I, I started doing,
working with at risk and trouble teens, young adults, that are going through a lot of, like,
mental health issues, and I was working with organizations that specialize in, in, you know,
mental health for, for our young generation, and, and yeah, it kind of, you know, it was doing very
well during COVID. I had, I had my own studio in Meriden, Connecticut, and because of COVID,
I had to shut everything down, and, and then I was just like, you know what, I'm just gonna
buy this school bus, and, and take all the equipment I had inside the studio, put it inside the bus.
I have a YouTube, I have a couple YouTube videos on it, on how I built it, and yeah, I did it in a,
in a, in a parking lot without no access to electricity, so I, I just kept on coming to
the parking lot, to my bus, with a bunch of batteries, and Ryobi electrical tools and
everything, battery-operated tools just to get it done, because I had no access to electricity,
so that, that was a four month, four months working on this thing, and I was able to launch
it October of 2020, and it was doing very, very well, you know, right up until, what, 2022, when
things started kind of slowing down, and a lot of the organizations didn't have the funding to,
to actually continue these services and everything, so unfortunately things kind of came, you know,
school's screeching halt, last year, and right now I'm in the process of, you know, working with,
an attorney, and, you know, working with some other people to, to kind of turn this into a 501c3,
so then I don't have to charge anybody to do this, I'd like, my whole goal was to not charge anybody,
but, I don't think, you know, parents or these organizations should be charged for
a therapeutic platform that's designed to help a lot of these, a lot of these, these individuals,
because I've learned a lot from working with them, I was working with Hartford HealthCare,
working with cancer patients, I was doing one-on-one bedside services with the terminally ill,
so people that knew they were going to pass away, that basically their whole entire life was staying
in a hospital room, laying in bed, not doing anything, so my whole goal was to go into the
hospitals and teach, like, I would walk in with a cart with one of my digital pen displays,
a battery pack, and one of my computers, and I would roll into all these rooms and just work with,
work with these individuals, you know, just kind of get their minds off of things, and it's part
of the healing process, and being able to give them something other than what's in the back of
their heads, they're thinking about, you know, what's actually happening with them, you know,
a lot of, I've got a lot of good reviews on that, a lot of people said that it actually helped them
out, I work with cancer survivors, I've worked with the Institute of Living, which is a facility
that specializes in working with, like, pre-teens and younger teenagers, a lot of these, a lot of
these kids were going through a lot of issues, some of them tried to, you know, take their own lives,
actually, actually one thing that really hit me hard was 20, what was it, towards the end of 2021,
one of the girls that I was working with, she unfortunately, you know, took her life, that
actually, that actually pushed me even harder to want to make this a success and be able to work
with these individuals, so that's where I'm at right now, you know, the bus is, it's a 24-year-old bus
that was the only thing I was able to afford at the time when I first got it, and so there are a
few parts that need to be repaired, there are a few things I need to do with it, but my whole goal
is to turn this into a 501c3, get some federal funding, you know, get some more organizations
to actually help with donations and stuff like that, and actually build a better bus, you know,
and the ultimate goal is to have buses across the country and then hire some really passionate
artists that would love to do the same thing and be able to guide this generation, so that's where
everything all started before, you know, I got into NFTs and got to meet Hex, you know, I love
this guy, this guy's amazing, but yeah, you know, that's where I'm at right now, trying to get this
501c3 all finished, I mean, it's been a process, trying to learn, trying to navigate through this
and be able to, you know, be a blessing to these, to our kids, you know, with everything that's
happened in the past few years, a lot of them are lost and, you know, with lack of funding in school
systems and the way things are going, we really need to do something to, I want to leave something
for this next generation that's going to be able to change their lives and be able to benefit them
in a way where they can actually do this thing for others, that's my ultimate goal, and then I got
into, you know, creating banana guns and meta-bodies and as a way to help fund that, you know, so yeah,
that's where I'm at right now. So, just to, in case anybody didn't really get in there,
one of the things that I've noticed about some of the people that I've been able to connect with,
and I'm constantly, I said this earlier this week, and I'm constantly humbled by the people that come
in here and speak, we had Sephita, Sephita Artist Mills, who's the founder of the United Empowerment
Party, she came in and spoke and shared her journey with her daughter, she spoke on Saturday,
and it's amazing, you know, there's these, the people that come in here, right, and anyone that's
like doing things, like what Apollo is doing where it's like, hey, you know what, I wanted to do this
thing, I saw a need and I could sit back, okay, I could sit back and say, oh man, that's a problem,
somebody should do something about that, but there's an issue here, and I'm not, I don't have
all the VC backing, I don't have all this money, but I'm going to do everything in my power
that I can do to do something about this issue, and so you took it upon yourself, you went and bought
a school bus, which, you know, old or not, wasn't cheap, and then you said, and it wasn't ready to
go out and do these things, you said, now I've got to physically put in my time, in my effort to
recondition this bus to where people can come into it and use it in this way, and utilize it for
these things, and then get the power, because there wasn't power to just plug into, you made
it so that you could sit inside of a parking lot to where people can come up, you don't have to be
plugged up to a building, and you gave opportunity, you did something about it, so major
props, there's not enough things that I can say about what you've already done, now that we've
gone with kind of like who you are, so who's Apollo, he's somebody that says, I see a problem,
I'll fill it, you're not going to be lazy, you're not just going to complain about the problem,
you're going to be active, right, an active community member, okay, that's key here,
now you've seen, now that we get into things like Nifty Island, okay, so the banana gun project and
the Metabot 8 project, before we get to the Nifty Island thing, okay, let's go back to South by
Southwest, the very first South by Southwest that had real world events, real things happening
since COVID, right, was 2022, okay, and you and the Metabot 8 were there, okay, the Metabot 8 were
there in 2022, walking around Austin, I was there because I saw them, because I got a lot of pictures
in my phone, and there's some pictures and videos all on Instagram and TikTok and YouTube, with this
funky colored Metabot 8 that I purchased from you, walking around Austin, Texas, hanging out with my
hospital box, so in 2022 you were there with the Metabot 8s, in 2023 the Metabot 8s were there,
and the whole time you were taking the money that you got, right, putting it back out into the
community to do, to be active with it, okay, and really actually affect some change in the world
around us, so it, you know, no matter what, whether I'm local to you or not, I can feel the impact,
because in the future that impact will really be felt, but these Metabot 8s are out there South by
South 2023, and now they're going to be back out there in 2024, but this time, this time you've got
some variations to some of these Metabot 8s, and that's really where this Nifty Idol of comes in,
um, if anybody looks, I've pinned up a tweet up here at the top, and if you're listening in on
Metaverse Radio, uh, you should go and check it out, go look at Hexadise on Twitter, you'll see,
I've got a tweet out there, one, or an ex post, however you want to call it, and there there's a
picture of some of these Metabot 8s, you can also check out Metabot 8 on TikTok, okay, or on
Instagram, and you can see some of these Metabot 8s as they start to come out and get released,
okay, so definitely go ahead, even people in this room, go ahead, start to follow on those
other socials so you can stay up to date, but you've got different variations of these things,
and they're, we're just thinking cool, uh, you've got this scientist looking guy in this video that's
dancing around, looks like he's got an experiment of a banana inside of a bottle here, got some plop
and bananas on the back, like he's getting ready to take them into the lab somewhere, okay, um, can
you tell us more, what, talk to us about the Nifty Island thing, your experience over there, and what
you're doing, if we can jump into that, and we'll probably bounce around a little bit, but let's,
let's go with your game thing you've got going on here for a minute. Um, yeah, yeah, yeah, sure, um,
but you know, in order to get into that, we have to get into what will lead the whole reason why
I created this on the, the, the Metabot 8s, and then why Nifty Island actually is perfect for,
for what, my whole entire vision, because the whole ultimate goal, and we spoke, we spoken about this,
um, to be honest bro, we've known each other since 2021. I created the, uh, Banana Guns October of 2021,
was when I first, when I first started, um, uh, creating it, but, um, I, I, I did a couple versions
of, like, Banana Guns back early, you know, 2021, and then 2022, um, but what I wanted to do was
create something that had a lot more utility, rather than just being a static image, NFT, you know,
I wanted to, to, to give something, you know, more than just that, um, so I created, you know,
Metabot 8s, and the Banana Guns kind of made sense, um, and I, 2021 was when I entered the
Metaverse, when I first learned about the Metaverse, and, um, really dove into it with my own avatar,
um, and, uh, from there, uh, you know, even, Hex, you and me, we spoke about how we can
gamify the Metabot 8s, because what I was doing was selling my Banana Gun NFTs, and you'll get
a free avatar, a free avatar you can use in a Metaverse. So I was part of this Metaverse,
um, called Neos, which, uh, is almost like a VR chat, but it's, it's a lot more robust,
it's a lot more realistic, it's, um, uh, it's, it's very, it's probably, like, the closest to
Ready Player One you'll, you'll ever get. Um, well, at that time, now there's a new one called
Resonite, which is even better, but, um, but yeah, you know, and, and we got, Hex, we got to meet, um,
there's a few other people, I think, that are on here right now, um, that we were able to meet,
uh, you know, in the Metaverse, um, in Neos, and, and be able to, uh, you know, I would give you
guys these, you know, these avatars, and, um, I wanted more people to have access to the,
to the Metabot Apes, and be able to use it, because I know that everyone has an Oculus,
and not everyone has, you know, a really, you know, a good, a good enough computer in order to enjoy,
you know, getting into this Metaverse and everything, so, uh, over the past, uh,
past year, year and a half, I was trying to figure out how I can, you know, um, get the Metabot Apes,
that they're more accessible, the banana guns are more accessible, and, um, and, and be able to
kind of gamify it, so we were talking, uh, you know, Hex, you know this, we were talking about something,
something like a laser tag kind of thing, you know, in the Metaverse, and I was literally building
an entire world inside this Metaverse for that, um, and then, you know, uh, kind of took, you know,
that kind of took a backseat for a little bit while I was working on some other stuff, I kind of,
you know, pulled back a little bit on, on, on, uh, on creating, uh, you know, some other things were
happening, so, um, and then, you know, Hex, just recently, you know, you, what, uh, maybe a little
less than a month ago, you were like, hey, check out Nifty Islands, like, I checked it out, and I was like,
oh, that's pretty cool, um, and then kind of just kept it in the back of my head, didn't really
think too much about it, and then Hex, what was it, a week ago, two weeks ago, you were like,
you need to check out Nifty Island, I'm like, yeah, okay, I'll, I'll check it out again,
and then, I was like, wait a minute, wait a minute, hold up, I didn't put two and two together,
two and two together in the beginning, and I put two and two together, I'm like, oh my gosh,
the very thing that I really wanted to do, Nifty Island has, and I can actually use
the Metabod Aids, and start creating different variations, and, and, and be able to use those as,
as, as these avatars that people can purchase, and, and use in Nifty Island, in Nifty Island is perfect,
this is, it's amazing, you can build your own world, you can, you can build your own island,
where you can actually gamify it, and have, you know, these, like a laser tag, like, you know,
the closest I can get to it is, is like a Fortnite type of thing, where Fortnite, you can buy the
skins, but you don't really own, own them, but in Nifty Island, you can buy the skins, and you can
own them, you own them, I was like, this is no-brainer, I'm doing this, you know, so, so yeah,
so I started, you know, creating these different variations of, of the Metabod Aids, and, like,
as, as I'm talking to you guys right now, I'm working on, on a basic drone-looking Metabod Aids right
now, that, that I'm looking to, you know, give away, some of them I'll give away, some of them I'll sell,
and everything, but, yeah, you know, this is, this is it, you know, being able to, to have a platform
like Nifty Island, where you can, you know, not only purchase an NFT, but your NFT is your avatar,
or an asset that you can use in-game, you own it, and that's, that's where the future is right now,
when it comes to digital products, and, and digital, you know, items and stuff like that,
and, I think, Hex, correct me if I'm wrong, you know, we were talking about how we can use
these avatars, once they're already, you know, since they're on the blockchain, we can use them
on, on different platforms and everything, and, I just read on the website, on, on Nifty Island's
website, and I, I mean, I could be wrong on this, but I think once they're minted, once someone
purchases and pays a gas fee and mints it, I think that's when we can use them in different platforms,
like, over the reality, you know, like we were talking about, you know, a couple days ago,
that's the ultimate utility for anything, for this, I'm telling you, Nifty Island's gonna be,
it's gonna, it's gonna destroy Fortnite, I mean, eventually Nifty Island is gonna get to the point
where people are like, yeah, forget Fortnite, we're gonna go into Nifty Island, and, and then
having all these communities and all these larger NFT projects coming into Nifty Island,
this is game changer, this is, this is really amazing, I love it, I absolutely love what they're
doing here, and, and if they can allow creators to create, you know, the weapons like the swords and
the guns, banana guns is going in, and, and, and I have a whole bunch of ideas for, for the way the,
the new designs for, for the next banana guns are gonna be, but yeah, I'm just experimenting right
now, I'm gonna start working on my world, but right now my goal is to start, you know, is to build
these, these metabot aids, and, and get these metabot aids in the hands of everyone, you know,
because these are, these are gonna be game changers, it's gonna be pretty awesome, I'm really
excited about it, and the very thing that I was thinking about, we were thinking about a year and
a half, two years ago, is actually happening right now, and all I gotta do is just keep, keep pumping
out these, these, these metabot aids, so there's gonna, there's gonna be some of them that are
gonna be a few of them, you know, that, that people can purchase, and that is gonna be some really
unique, awesome one, one of ones like yours, like that, that one that's up on the, on the jumbotron
right there with the forearms, that was an experiment that I finished yesterday, and it, it actually,
it actually comes, came out really good, but once, you know, Nifty Island gets, you know,
continues on and updating and adding more features, I'm pretty sure they'll be able to add features
that will allow avatars to have multiple arms and multiple legs, because right now I'm using
spring booms for the smaller arms, and it works, it works well, but I would like the arms to actually
move with, with the primary arms, but, but yeah, I know, you know, this is just the beginning, so
when Fortnite first came out years ago, I was, I was playing it, and I'm like, you know, man, this
could be so improved so much more, this, this has potential, you know, and now see, look at where
Fortnite is right now, and we're at that stage in, in Nifty Island, we're at that very beginning of
Fortnite stage, where the possibilities are endless, and, and eventually Nifty Island is going to
exceed a lot of other platforms out there that, you know, that where you can game-ify your,
you know, your, your avatars, and it's just, it's just, man, this is, this is actually perfect,
Nifty Island is actually perfect, it's, it's, I'm, I'm sticking with it, I'm gonna keep pushing,
I'm gonna keep building, it's gonna be awesome. It is gonna be stinking awesome, um, and so
for those of you that don't know, because you weren't in our private conversations, okay, so
it kind of went down like this, I was like, man, you got to get into Nifty Island, and he's like,
okay, yeah, I looked at it, I was like, no, no, no, no, like, you got to go look at it, he's like,
well, I'm at the computer now, it's like, well, cool, so I ran over, I said, just, I said, jump
into this place, right, and it might have been the Music Fest Island down there, so if you go over
to Nifty Island, if you go over to Nifty Island Music Fest, and you, you can check it out, there's
this whole community thing that everybody over there is putting together, and so as we jump in
there, he goes, whoa, he goes, okay, this is cool, I was like, and then he sees, like, I've got
this, like, music note, character avatar, he's like, did you bring that in? And, you know, so,
and he's like, wait a minute, and then he started, and there's like, you could, you could, even though
I couldn't see him, you know how you can, like, see wheels turning, you know, and people, he's like,
wait a minute, wait, so the apes, I said, I know, he's like, and then the banana, I was like, I know,
and he's like, but then we could, that's like, I know, and it was, it was such a beautiful,
magical moment, you know, that we, that we were able to share together right then, and ever since
then, ever since then, he's been sending these videos, he's like, check out this ape, I'm like,
oh my goodness, this one's so cool, and my kids, you know, because they're, they're a part of this
whole journey with me, right, anybody's been listening to me long enough knows that my kids
are part of the journey, and they're freaking out, they're like, the Metabot apes are in the game,
it's like, I know, man, it's so cool, they're like, you know, so now they're into it, I'm into it,
it's this whole, you know, and you mentioned Fortnite, you brought it up,
and they've been playing Fortnite for, you know, the past while, but they kick me off of my computer,
they're like, dad, move so that I can play, they're like that, or like, they're like, dad,
we want to play in Nifty Islands, because now they get to play as these characters that,
like, that they know, they're like, that's our Metabot ape, that's our Aussie Vox Avatar, that's
no one, the only way you can have it is to be me, right, somebody wants it, and they understand
like that ownership layer of having these characters, so it's been such an amazing journey,
I'm really excited to be a part of it, and I'm so excited for you to be like,
I'm gonna say winning, so if anybody's listening, okay, for all of you listeners right now,
now is the time, while he's in the middle of creating these things, okay, you want your one
of one Metabot ape, okay, now might be a good time to say, hey man, what's the fee to get my own
Metabot ape, because while all this is still getting set, okay, you can buy it for the FOMO,
you can buy it for the RISE, if you think there's gonna be something, or you can purchase it,
because, well, it'll be yours, no one else will have it, right, so, and you know where the money's
going, you know the person behind where it's going, he's not coming at you saying, if you give me
money, we'll eventually build this whole platform, and it'll be this whole thing, no it's, he's got
a bus, he's already put his own time into it, you can go back in time and look and see the history
of where he's already invested personal time into things, right, it's not going to be something you
put your money in, and then you hope that you make a bunch of money out of it, no it's, you're putting
in because of who the person is behind the project, welcome to the stage, tiny elephant,
my Metapunks friend, how are you doing, what's up, it's Tech Talk Tuesdays, hey good morning,
can you hear me, I can hear you, can I hear you, hey good morning from LA, I hope everybody's good
in the room, oh yeah man, oh fuck me sideways, I'm just trying to keep my head in the game, you know,
I just read something yesterday and I have a question to you, and first of all I want to say,
what makes somebody successful as passion and having a clear vision, and I'm really excited to
always hear that passion come from you, so that's exciting, so thanks for having the room,
compliment you, and to everybody here who's building or learning as I am, what happened
with Disney yesterday, explain it to me, and who's going to be the competitor to Disney,
you know, I'm a storyteller, so I've spent a lot of my time just writing and hiding and creating
shit, I'm trying to keep up with technology, so two check boxes I'd like to ask you, number one,
what happened, what the fuck happened with Disney yesterday, they bought something, and then, and
who's going to be their competitors, and number two is, I'll start with that, I had my number two,
I forgot it, but I think the number two is going to be about the bull market, and then,
I just also, I just want to have a comment about the glasses coming out, but just start with Disney
if you could, please, thank you. Sorry, I was muted, I forgot to tap the little microphone,
all right, so Disney jumped into this metaverse thing, and just with like a 1.3 billion dollar
buyout, not a buyout, let me, let me pause, let me rephrase, a 1.3 billion dollar investment,
okay, or purchase for, into Epic, right, the creators of Fortnite, who now they will have
a media spot inside through Fortnite, so it'll, here's, and this is all theory, okay,
but the theory is they will use their Fortnite portal to go into like this Disney world,
this virtual Disney world of, because they've been putting like the Marvel and everything
else inside of Fortnite for a while anyways, but now they really solidified it with that 1.3
billion dollars of funds into this whole thing, so yes, that is a huge thing, but that came after
the Ready Player One, right, where the creators of Ready Player One came out and said, hey,
we're going to be making Ready Player One, we're going to make the Oasis, as they said,
we're going to create that one hub, okay, so you've got these different studios coming in and
saying, we're going to do this, and we're going to do this, so is the metaverse dead? I think not.
Question for you, okay, cool, yeah, so they're going to have to, they died on the subscription
on demand, so, you know, they had, and they're just dying right now financially, so the tragic
kingdom, I call it. I personally, when I, I don't know, so yeah, obviously I follow them because
they got money, whatever, have you, and I'm just curious what they're doing. Oh, the other question
I had was this in regards to, in regards to that, the tokenomics of that move of Fortnite and Disney
is that you think it's going to be on polygon? Because I remember Disney was on polygon, remember
we were talking about that way back when, and if they go into a token, a token system in regards
to blockchain, and you know, like we're all, you know, we're in the token, you know, the token world
now, right, coming up, so do you think it is that polygon still? We're just questioning, you know,
everybody in the room probably knows, I'm just curious, your thought. It would be, I, so, you know,
I've seen all this stuff with base lately, right, and I'm not, so just to be clear, like as much as
the cheapness of base, I hate the bridging of base, it's just like terrible, personally, right now,
but polygon is so easy to bridge, and so I would like to see them still use that chain, and maybe
wrap it up somehow, because I feel like it's so cheap, right, it's so cheap, and it's still
fast and cheap. Exactly, so that's interesting, and in this Fortnite on any type of blockchain,
or do they have a partnership, or Epic, and is Epic on any, I'm just, I'm really curious, you know,
I'm just asking these baseline questions of the relationships between all of them, you know.
Right, and so when you look at like the partnerships that have already gone into Fortnite, like
with Nike, you got Disney, you got, who was the other, there were a few others, and, but they are
all on, most of those partnerships have already done things on the polygonmatic side of the chains,
right, so it would make sense for them to stay consistent with those, especially like, as you've
seen, and you've pointed it out before, Starbucks, most of these major brands are right there in our
friendly little matic neighborhood. All right, cool, I'll just try to build those relationships,
you know, I'm just curious, I mean, it's very early. Oh, the other thing too, is like, you know,
I'm obviously really curious about, you know, these new mocaps, you know, transitioning from
video into characters, and everybody in the room just wanted to, can I just introduce the
metapunks? I'm part of the metapunks. I'm glad you are, I was hoping you would. Oh yeah, we've
been taking our time building. If you see my character, my PFP, that's just one of them.
We're a whole bunch of skater punks here in Venice Beach. I'm a filmmaker, I've been doing it for 30
years, and then my team is a whole bunch of degenerates we've been in since the scratch,
and we're building an immersive streetwear brand, and the metapunks are avatars,
metapunks.io, M-E-T-A-P-U-N-K-Z.io, and the big thing that I'm excited about is that we're
building this program with Miami Dade College to help them get into the XR immersive world
from a storytelling perspective, from an AR perspective, and creative development,
an incubator with them. So that's what we're excited about, and we're doing a lot of really
fun things, including augmented merchandise, so that's kind of our big thing. But yeah, we've been
around for a couple years building, going slowly and just studying everything, what's going on
around us, but we do believe in physical and digital assets, so instead of just having a
digital PFP, we believe the physical assets should go with that. And then we have five
artists that we're incubating around the world that we've been working with for two years, so
yeah, a lot of really smart people on our team, working for the biggest companies in the world,
like Apple and, fuck, I don't know his name, I think we've got a creative team beyond belief,
Activision, HBO, whatever have you. We're all storytellers, creators, and different
backgrounds, but we've been building this brand, that's the key word, in the Web 3 space,
and Hex has been a big part of these, hip to hip with us all the way through.
And I just believe when we build a product, we don't want to just rely on the community to
kind of fund the product, we want to create a stable way of creating income to also bridge
people from Web 2 to Web 3, and then use that income to then help the creators of our community.
So I myself, I'm a writer-director, proud pops of two boys here in LA, and I'm surrounded by
brilliant people constantly, and my job is just to kind of bring that together, bring those people
together, the creators together, and everybody has a skill, and much like a football team
or a film crew or whatever have you, just trying to just put everybody in the best position to
kind of succeed. So that's what we're doing, I'm just proud to be in the space. You can just,
I'll be around, we haven't launched yet, we've been really debating, we're going to be on Magic
Eden, and then we're going to have Shopify Store, and we're going to have a lot of events here at
Venice Beach and Miami. We're based here in Venice, because it's the escape capital of the world,
and surf capital of the world, and that's where I live, and then our partners are in Miami,
and we think Miami is a very tech-forward city, so I'll stop talking, but I love Collective IQ,
that's why I'm here, Hex is a great leader, I look at leadership, and I'm just happy to be
part of it, so Hex, thanks for having the room, and cheers to everybody here, keep building,
keep thinking, and say hello to me anytime. Punks all the way, live to die.
Yeah, no, it's going to, it has been a really cool journey over the past
web three years, and I'm really excited to be a part of the meta-punk story overall.
Jeffrey's done an amazing job, everybody behind the scenes has done an amazing job,
all of the artists and creators, like you said, that what you see as the PFP, and what's coming
out is, you're not ready for it, let's just say, you know, I mean, it's just what it is, it's going
to be, it's going to be exciting, and I'm really excited for all of the things. I'm hoping to see
some of the people down at South by Southwest, we've got the coast-to-coast cover, we got,
now we just got to get all of the middle of this thing covered as well, right, so we got the
east coast, west coast, let's slam the whole thing, right, right down the middle. Let's go, Texas.
Leading the blockchain revolution, if I do say so myself, and I do, we were the first state to have
the first city put in a Bitcoin miner inside of their city hall, okay, just throwing that out there,
all these other tech-forward cities, but ain't none of them Fort Worth, we got a Bitcoin miner in our
city hall, mayor done announced it, but that said, going back to the South by Southwest thing,
and as I'm looking, because you brought up, you know, who the competitors were,
and I went and looked up Ready Player One, and it just so happens that Ready Player One
was released at South by Southwest back in 2018, that was the first viewing of it, okay,
because South by Southwest is where first things happen, the biggest things that are gonna happen
happen in South by Southwest, and we're gonna be there, we got so many people that are gonna be
there putting stuff on display. Right now, there's this dude K-Bot, he's got a party going on in
voxels for Mardi Gras, okay, I was in there yesterday, you can go in there today, the Avatar
Convention Center, it's super easy to find, it's so easy, you can go to Google and type Avatar
Convention Center, and it's like one of the first things that pops up, it's that kind of stature
inside of all this stuff, like there's not, I mean, Google's got a lot of things that it could pull
up first, but it doesn't, it pulls up K-Bot Avatar Convention Center, okay, so if you're gonna throw
a party somewhere and you want people to be able to find it really easy, maybe you should start
renting out the Avatar Convention Center, because you just got that kind of use cases, okay,
we got human in here, who's been building some really cool stuff out there on Spheroid Universe,
and helping drive the community over there, they've got the AI avatars already released,
there's going to be some amazing things to see, I don't want to give away all the details,
but that community over the past few months has just blown my mind, the support that has come
out from over there is incredible, they're helpful, they're all about like building together,
it's just really cool, the competitive nature is just not there, as in some other places,
it's the inclusivity that's just really cool, I want to go back to Apollo real quick,
and bring back up these Metabot Apes, because as we go into this Nifty Island thing, and as we go
into South by Southwest, you will have some things out for people to see, is there, do we want to,
okay, this is one of the things I was thinking about, is in here in this space, because you've
got a few of these Nifty Island things, if we wanted to, we could do like a giveaway type thing,
and it's super easy, super easy to give stuff away over on Nifty Island, you can even put in a wallet
address for people to just go claim it, right, or you can make it a claimable thing, like
if you own one of these NFTs, you can claim this thing, it's super, super, super easy,
okay, so do we want to, do we want to give away a Metabot Ape thing from inside Nifty Island today,
are we prepared for that Apollo, or should we wait? I am actually working on the one that I'm
going to be giving away right now, which is, yeah, this one's a pretty cool design, it's more like,
it kind of reminds me of like a Tesla bot kind of thing, because it's just, this the vibe that
it's given, but yeah, this one, this one I'm working on right now, I'm going to be, I've given away a
few of them, so yeah, definitely, I definitely want to do it. How about this, we'll just announce it
today, because I already said it, and then if they come back to the space on Saturday, which is act,
which is usually the South by Southwest spaces, right, Saturdays, like you want to really find
out what's happening, that's the space, what if we give it away on Saturday? Okay, that sounds good,
yeah, okay, so everybody in here heard that, yeah, there's like, and everybody on Metaverse radio
listening in heard that, right? Saturday, Saturday's the day, that's the day you can get,
if you've never had one, you can get one for the first time, a MetaBot 8, that you can run around
with, right? You can play tag with, you can shoot people with it, you can do time trials with it,
you can make it dance, dance monkey dance, it's gonna be, that's gonna be a lot of fun,
and maybe after the space on Saturday, we'll jump in, and we'll have like a MetaBot 8 party.
What's up, Tiny? Oh, I have a question, and I'm stoked about that.
So, can I ask you a question about putting your MetaBot 8 into Nifty Islands, and you know,
I'm learning all this, I'm not, I have tech people behind me, but I'm just like, as a creator,
I'm just curious, like, is that, how did you do that, Hex or Apollo, and nice to meet you?
Hey, yeah, yeah, nice meeting you, too. What was your question?
Oh, my question is, how did you get your character into Nifty Island? Did you create it in Nifty
Island, or did you import it into Nifty Island? And was it a 3D character, a 2D character,
and what was it created in? The reason I asked the question is because our characters are created
in Blender, and I'm trying to figure out how to get our characters into the correct Metaverses,
so I can have them be interactive with other characters. Like, I would love my MetaPunk to
hang out and have a beer with your character in Nifty Island. Yeah, yeah, I create everything,
every, all of my avatars, everything I create is all done in Blender. And then,
Nifty Island has an importer that allows you to import any asset, any 3D model, or even an avatar
into Nifty Island. So you build everything in Blender, you rig it up. I run it through Unity
before I put it into Nifty Island. The reason why I do that is because my Metaverses have
extra bones that allow some certain features, like some of my Metabodies, they're all of them.
Their ears move, so whenever you jump around, or you bounce, or you're walking, the ears are flapping
around and everything. And you can only do, you can do it in Blender, but you need certain plugins
in order for Springbones to work. But I run it through Unity to get that done.
And just, you know, being able to make sure that you have transparencies, so like,
the back of the heads of all my MetaBot Apes have a piece of glass, so you can see the internals
over behind his head. So Unity allows you to run certain shaders that give you the ability to
create transparent glass. You can do that in Blender, but I try to be working with Blender,
and it just gives me a lot of issues. So Unity allows you to do that, and then you can export
it as a VRM, which is like an avatar file that you can use in Nifty Island, or VRChat, or any other
Metaverse where you can create an avatar that has certain functions, like Springbones.
But yeah, that's how I do everything in Blender, and then I run through Unity then into Nifty Island
in order to get it in there. It's actually pretty straightforward, and it's not hard to get
your avatars in there. As long as your avatars are actually done the way you want it, because
if not, once you get into Nifty Island, you're like, oh shoot, this transparency is not working.
Well, now you got to go and mess with it in Unity and import another one. Now you have like
three versions of one avatar that is in multiple stages of development and everything, because
either you forgot something or something didn't work right. Now you got to rework it in order
to import it again. So yeah, I mean, that's how I do it. Amazing. I mean, first of all,
congratulations on all your work. Yeah, you're more tech savvy than I am, so I have my artists
that are kind of helping me, the people that I brought on board. But oh my god, so I'm excited
to see yours, and then I might need your brains. So it's great to meet you, and yeah, amazing.
Congratulations. You know, if you have any questions or whatever, I'm almost there.
Well, how can I get ahold of you? You could just message you. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
you could just message me. Send me a message. Okay, yeah, I'll do it through Twitter. Amazing.
Yeah, congratulations. I love the aesthetic of your work. So if you taught yourself just
all these programs, just like you learn by yourself. Yeah, yeah, yeah. As a matter of
fact, I mean, I've been using Blender for quite some years, but really didn't go really in depth
right up until 2020. 2021 was when I really started going, you know, really hard with Blender.
And I learned Blender in like a week. I was like, you know, working all day, every day, you know,
everyone was home. So you know, there's really nothing to do. So yeah, I taught myself Blender,
and I'm still I'm not an expert. I'm still not an expert. I'm still teaching myself Blender. But
yeah, I love what I do. It's awesome. That's cool. Yeah, no, well, we know I hired all the artists in
my project, you know, so I've got like, there's not one artist, I have like five artists. So one
artist is the artist of the graphic designer who did all the skateboards and all the apparel.
The other one's a 3d artist, I have a, you know, a skateboarder, I have a fashion designer,
you know what I'm saying? So I have all these people collaborated to help us build our project,
and then we're going to, you know, use the funds to help them incubate their projects.
That's awesome. Yeah, it's a system that I learned by building a lot of brands. I helped, you know,
Pat's Blue Ribbon, you know, so I worked on that brand for a long time. And I learned that if you
just help the community, the community helps you back, it's, you know, it's, it's fun to incubate
other people who are creatives. There's nothing like hiring another artist and paying them. It's
a brilliant thing. I mean, so anyways, I'm going to land my plane. I appreciate you Apollo, and I
look forward. So this is the big thing, Apollo. And I think, heck, just if you want to elaborate
as our moderator, is that us as artists, right, or me as a creative leader, hiring artists,
we want to get into these metaverses right now. Are we now, bear with me, are we now in the
predicting state? Remember how we had like our NFT, and I had NFT islands they were talking about,
give me a second, we were talking about like, you know, let me give me all the metaverses.
Fuck, but there's so many goddamn, what are the ones, Decentraland was one, and the other one was
Sandbox, right? Yeah, we're past all that shit. Now we're, we're into like, where Apollo is, and I
want to, you know, my next step is to, you know, rigging my characters over, right? So
are we predicting that NFT island is it? Or does Fortnite, bear with me, this is my major thought,
are they going to open up their space? Is that I own fucking land in the ape world, whatever it's
called, other side, right? Are they going to open up their space to us? Are they going to make it
inclusive, right? And is that the brilliance of NFT Island? Where it's, you know, it's, you know,
it's open to the world. So that's my question, and our prediction as creators, you know, where's our
mindset going now? Where do you see our degenerate culture going? We're the leaders, right, in the
degenerate culture of building things. I follow the Anamoka brands, and Yat, the CEO, pretty
closely on all of his social channels, you know. So comment on them, comment on the predictions,
and then I'm going to just listen, and you guys have a brilliant day.
Yeah. Well, I mean, I don't know, Hex, did you want to say anything about that?
Man, go for it. I know that you, you've got your stuff going.
Okay, so I'm really good at kind of looking at trends and seeing where the current, where we were
at, where we are at now, and where we can be in the future. I guess I have that ability. I don't
know. I kind of, whenever I say something's about to happen, it kind of does happen. And then me,
I kind of jump in on it late, like, I'm kind of like apprehensive about it. But the way I see,
the way I see what's happening with, I saw how the central land was, I mean, still is,
Sandbox, I tried all the different metaverses, Mona, oh my gosh, there's so many of them. My first
time ever getting into the metaverse was VRChat. And I was like, oh, this is pretty cool. And then
got into, you know, found Neo's VR, which Neo's is no more. That kind of got shut down.
Earlier in January. I mean, it's still there, but it's an empty, in an empty metaverse. No one's
there. Everybody migrated over to the resident night. But I'm looking at how things are going
and where everything is starting to move. Nifty Island seems like they're going in the right
direction. But I do see other platforms are going to start jumping in on this once they start
realizing that people don't only want, you know, different avatars or different, you know, items
like like like Fortnite, where you have different backpacks, and you have different, you know,
like the backblings, you have different weapons, you have different different skins that you can
buy and everything. I think once, you know, Disney is already buying into Fortnite, I mean,
into Epic, I have a feeling that Disney is going to try and do what they do with everybody else
and buy them out. In order for them, because Disney, I know Disney sees what's happening,
Nike sees what's happening, Adidas sees what's happening, all the big brands see what's happening,
they see where the culture is going, they see where where the technology is moving.
Everything is getting into AR, VR, NFTs, you know, being able to purchase and own 3D assets that can
be linked to a physical asset. I see that that's that's where everything is going. If you look at
other like video games like Warframe, Warframe is a video game, my son's part of it, my son is
actually building assets that you can buy in Warframe. I mean, they're not part, you know, it's
not part of the blockchain, but I can see something like that happening with Fortnite, where they're
going to maybe start off with a, you know, asset builder where you can build certain assets for
the skins for Fortnite. And maybe get into, you know, allowing avatar builders so you can now
create your own avatars, they might do that. You know, I see how how things are looking,
are looking now. And I see where, you know, where these are young generation is going, you know,
with, like, for example, my son, my son, he's 18 years old, and he got into working with Blender,
he loves Blender. And he is actually building assets for Warframe. And he's like, Dad, look,
I'm going to start making money with this, I built this certain
scarf or something like that, it goes around the Warframe. And I'm like, Oh, amazing, you know,
I see and he's really excited about it. I'm like, Wow, if a lot of other young,
this young generation start getting into this, it's going to be huge. And like, you know,
hex, like what you said, you know, that they're trying to build an actual, like ready player one
and actual oasis, the ultimate, the ultimate, what's actually ultimately going to happen
is that we're going to have a bunch of creators, building all these assets for these games. And
of course, these games maybe take, you know, take a little bit of a profit off of what everybody,
you know, creates. But it's, it's going to get to the point where we're just going to have a
world full of creators for these for these metaverses. And it's going to be some sort of
a ready player one, you know, world where where people are going to be building that you're going
to be living and working in virtual worlds and everything. Look what they did with the app.
Oh, my first of all, I want to say I love your brain Apollo. And we also I also have a cider 17,
almost 18. So we're in the same space in life. So I really, I think we're in the same space,
you know, I, in regards to following trends, I've, you know, hex and, and I've been
going through this together. I think we've all been hip to hip. Maybe we just haven't met. But
I, are you a skateboarder at all, Apollo? No, but I do have a lot of skateboarder friends,
actually, one of my friends. Good. I was gonna say, well, I'm gonna have to get you into the
metapunks. I'm gonna I'm just cuz I think it would be brilliant to have you inside of our community
for sure. Because I think as we go forward, right, and I'm not a gamer, right? But I would love
to push like, I love to put our characters into spaces and hang out together. I thought like the
other side, right? I would love to go into the other side. I don't own it eight, but I want to
go in as my character on my land, right? And if I use your character on my land, right? And then
create like, maybe I'm going to create like a skate park somewhere, right? And we can all hang
out the skate park, right? So in our characters. So and that's what I've always envisioned. So I'm
doing, I'm doing a real world stuff, like we're like I'm working in augmented virtual stuff in
the skate park here in Venice, for building something here. And but yeah, no, but I just
love that. So I'm going to find you on Instagram, because that's kind of makes more sense to me,
if that makes sense. But yeah, I appreciate everybody here. I'm going to pop out. Hex,
you're the man. All right. All right. God bless you guys. Cheers, all.
Yes, sir. Love you, son. Yeah, you're, you're a legend. For those of you that don't know who
tiny is, you really should follow tiny and follow them on all of the socials. They've been in the
space for a while. We go back some days in some Twitter spaces back when Twitter spaces were still
like the new thing, you know. But Apollo, let's, let's talk. Let's talk apes for a second. Real
quick, I do want to give everyone the opportunity. If I pass you a mic, you know, and you don't want
to take it, cool. If I pass your mic, and you do want to say it, go ahead, grab it. If I didn't pass
your mic, and you still want to speak anyways, go ahead and request one. I'll bring you up.
We've been going for just about an hour or just over an hour somewhere in there. I lost track of
time. But if you check the nest up at the top, I have put some things up there regarding lots
of different things. Okay, so you can find if you go way back towards number three. All right.
There's a piece of work that it looks like a Metabot ape created it, I guess. Is that,
is that what's happening here? There's this Metabot ape dancing, they painted a banana,
painted two bananas, and then there's some like robot ladies standing next to them around a
throne or something like that. There's, yeah, so that's, there's just this whole thing happening
right there. It kind of looks like it matches Apollo's PFP. Not quite sure how all that
connects together. I say that I'm lying. I know how it all connects together. It's the lore.
You want to know the real story, you follow the story. It's the lore. But then we've got
right behind that, we got some stuff made by human that's on display on a spheroid universe
already. It reminds me of some dragons, ballsy, call me, call me, action going on there.
There's more information about the Avatar Convention Center from
K bot as well. Right over next to that is Nifty Island. And you can find out more about what's
going on at the Music Fest Island. We've got some information from Metaverse radio and their
partnership with Winamp, which again, connects with over 80 million global users monthly. Okay.
So right now we are, we are broadcast cross Metaverse radio. We are live on Metaverse radio
and we are supported by Metaverse radio and we have been for the past while.
So thank you for all you have done to bring these artists to the front where people can find them.
So people that are on the show that are speaking can have a broader voice and a more global
audience. So appreciate everything you have done for us. There's also Honeycomb Hydro with Seed
the Change. And you can find out more about what they're doing by following them on LinkedIn,
Instagram, all those Facebook, they've got some amazing things. I think they have like,
I don't know, they've got a couple thousand people on Facebook, but they're like, I mean,
they're just blowing up everything that's going on over there. So if you're a Facebooker,
by all means, go check that out. And then there's this thing from MetaMike, which looks pretty cool.
I don't know their exact connection with this cyber crew, but this thing was pinned up inside
of their tweets. So it looks like maybe they're connected in some sort of way. But MetaMike has
been building, creating, designing some really cool stuff. I see Kbot came up to the stage.
Welcome, my friend. How you been? Mardi Gras week. What's up? Is it back to it's today's Tuesday.
That's exactly why I came up. And you know what, everyone? We need to give some digital love to
Charles, hexadise, lead better. He is leading the way. Let's all get some emojis and collapse
in digital love for Charles, lead better, hexadise. Dude, this guy made video for me and the Avatar
Convention Center community without any, like no one requested it. He's going hard in the paint,
man. If anybody deserves some type of like lifetime achievement award in the metaverse,
it's you, bro. That's all I wanted to come up and say. Love you guys. Have a great week.
Happy Fat Tuesday. Happy Chinese New Year. Happy Valentine's Day. Happy Love Day.
And you guys all matter and we are in this. Let's go. I'm going back down to listening. Thanks,
bro. Let's go. Okay, but you are the best. Yeah, you're one of my favorite people of all times.
And thank you for coming up to this stage and giving me all the love. It is almost Love Day.
Tomorrow is Love Day. But welcome to the stage, Meta Mike. And welcome back Apollo. Meta Mike,
man. Tell me more about what's going on with you because you're one of those people that's doing
some really crazy things inside this metaverse place as well. So how you been, friend?
Am I right? Am I right? I saw you posted the cyber crew project there,
which I've been kind of like diving into over the last couple of days.
I'm a little bit disappointed and angry because I didn't know about this sooner.
If you look on spatial, like there's that game, I think it's on the first suggested game on
spatial right now. And it's like cyberverse. And it's just like a little, kind of like a little
demo game to kind of show off like, how cool it looks. And you just like, try to figure out how
to like fix your hacked computer. And that's pretty much it, right? So it's just like a little
preview of maybe what, you know, a little piece of what they're going to build. So I just played it
and didn't think anything of it just moved on. Like, it doesn't say anywhere in there that it's
really like a project or NFT or anything like that. And then I ended up stumbling on it now,
like a couple of days later and finding out that they've got like all 3D assets that are all their
NFTs. And you can like download them and encourage you to like use them in unreal or spatial or
whatever metaverse. And so that's what I've been doing is I just been trying to grab whatever NFTs
they have and see what I could do to make them work in spatial. And I've got like, like their
basement and they're like basically the thing that you have in the post there, I have that
started to set up. It doesn't quite look like in the post because in the post, it's pretty amazing.
But my version of that is just kind of like trying to get it going and, and, and, you know,
put it in spatial and start using it. And it's like really cool. I got like a little golf cart
or a little go cart that's from them. I got like the apartment and stuff, like little cool like
guns, the cyber, cyber avatar thing that I managed to get working and stuff. So I was just really
excited to see like a project building something in spatial that the people that buy into it can
actually use, right? Where like, I want to build and I don't have the time to actually build
anything. So I'd much rather just like build with other stuff, you know, like, so it's just really
fun that now they have assets and a lot of cool stuff going on. They have another project with some
I can't remember what they're called. I think they're like Alia pods or something.
And it's another spatial apartment that is gamified in a way where you have to figure out
the puzzles to unlock and upgrade your apartment. From what it sounds like, I haven't seen it yet
because I don't have the NFT. I don't really, I'm not sure if I want to spend any more money
because it's hard for me to spend money on this stuff. But yeah, like, apparently it's supposed
to be really cool where you can figure out how to upgrade your apartment and unlock the puzzles. And
apparently there's like a computer in there that works that you can make games on or something and
it's all on spatial. So I'm really interested to see like, what they're tinkering on in on the
background. So yeah, it's interesting. Oh, and they got a mint coming up in a couple days for
a couple of the assets because they're actually for a real game that's going to be on Unreal.
And obviously you own all the assets and you can use them in the game and blah, blah, blah.
But if you get all five of the assets that they're selling for like 0.01, 0.02 each,
then apparently you're going to get an airdrop of like some super yacht that is like a massive
deathmatch environment, I guess, or something. And it's supposed to be like a really crazy,
insane environment. So I'm kind of interested to see what they're up to. So I've been
kind of getting involved. That's pretty much it.
You know, that sound that I like everything you just said, the fact that there's like the games
inside of the games on the computer and the games and the things like that's always exciting too.
You you're one of those people. Yeah, that's you just gave me something to dip my nose and my time
into. Thanks for that rabbit hole because I didn't have enough things distracting me throughout my
day. I've got a few friends that are going to be very upset and I'm going to blame you.
And they're going to be like, why isn't this thing done? And I'm just going to be like,
Meta Mike told me I had to do this and blame him. And they'll be like, what is it? Your mom?
No, he's just he just gave me something to look at. So this is this is definitely something I want
to see. Joe, man, it feels like it's been years since I've seen you in cyberspace or heard your
voice. What's going on, my winter friend? What's up, man? I just thought I'd stop and say hi.
Say hi to Apollo. It's been a minute, you guys. It has been a minute. You're you are a banana
gun holder. And you do you own the banana gun or the metal body or both? I got one of the original
banana gun to I have two of those and then the metal body from the old days and the own stuff.
That's right. That's right. You were when you were one of the first banana gun holders as well.
That's what's up. See, look, I love it. Like that's that's when you back in the old days when there
was only five of them. Yeah, beat up in neo and Apollo kind of show you around and get, you know,
like handoff stuff. And it was cool. I liked it. Those men about apes. They're dope, man. Love it.
I remember when we went into the Neos and then he shot me with this one gun and I shrunk down
real small. And I was like, what just happened? He's like, hang on, I'll fix you. And so he's like,
just go in this machine over here. It'll fix you. And so I step into the machine and I see him flip
a switch. And then all of a sudden is like, and jumbles me around. I was like, what? Why is my
arm on my head and my head on my foot? He's like, I'm just playing that machine doesn't fix you.
Actually messes you up even more. Those were the days when you could like really do some crazy,
funky things in the metaverse space before there were laws of the metaverse, right? Now we've got
all these rules we got to follow. You can't just shoot people where randomly, like the ultimate
kill gun where it would delete all of your files and just destroy your avatar altogether. That was
the one that we didn't use, but we all had anyways. But those were the days. Those were the days.
Welcome in here, David. I'm going to pin up something for you. I'm glad you came in here.
All my metaverse radio listeners. Okay. Let me just say this real fast. All right. And I know
we got some people on the stage and I want to hear all of them talk, but I've got to shout out this
guy, David with web three warriors. Okay. I know they literally like just came into space. Like,
what the heck? How are you going to do that to me? But web three warriors, you got to check it out
have been hosting some of the greatest creators, artists, just passionate purpose driven people
in the web three space, not just for one or two years, but for the past few years, I want to say
at least three years. And yeah, just go check out the YouTube channel and go back. They've got 90
plus episodes. Go all the way back to episode one. Okay. You're going to see creators like cyber
nerd baby who have gone on to create things for like the official McDonald's. Okay. So the first
AR QR code inside of any McDonald's was created by cyber nerd baby who was, well, they were
interviewed on the web three warrior show. There are several others that had been on the web three
warriors show as well. I think the latest one was this guy named meta voxels who's a good friend
to anybody that's been in this web three space, especially in the voxel space and now in the
bitmap and Bitcoin space. Okay. They're creating some amazing things over there as well. Uh, but
yeah, so that's my web three warriors commercial. Go check them out. Amazing people like really
passionate about actually supporting the space in a healthy way. Now back to our regular scheduled
program. Uh, Paulo, my friend, man, is there anything you want to add? Anything you want to say
before, before we close out or, or move on to anything else? Uh, I want to say thank you for
coming in today and sharing your story. I love your story. You're, you know, and I love sharing
your story. I love, I love everything you've done for kids or people around your neighborhood
in your immediate real life spot and how you've continued to grow that into this virtual world as
well. Is there anything you want to add? Anything you want to let people know about any of your
projects, how they can get ahold of you. Um, if they do want a one of one or anything like that,
should they contact you directly or just wait for you to make it and then buy it later? Um,
what if I want it brand, can you get them branded, branded, you hear me? Yeah. You know,
like let's, let's say I'm Nike and I want a Nike Metabot eight, you know, I'm not saying that,
you know, somebody in here should go and put Nike on their Metabot eight, but you know,
if they're brand like a web warriors, you know, or an avatar convention center,
eight, you know, just maybe it's branded some way. Um, yeah, you know what, um, uh,
I'm going to keep on building these. And if anybody wants like a unique one that is,
you know, kind of, um, kind of geared towards, you know, like what their brand or, or something
that kind of gives an aesthetic from, you know, one of their projects and you created a project
or something like that. Yeah. I'll be more than happy to, uh, you know, to create one for, uh,
for you guys. And, um, and yeah, just inbox me. Um, I'm going to keep on building these,
these Metabot eight, you know, um, every, uh, just keep an eye on everything I'm doing
because, uh, it kind of goes a lot. It's a lot further than just the Metabot eight and banana
guns. Um, I know hex you, you mentioned, uh, actually you put it up here. Um, the, the Metabot
with the, uh, with the two paintings sitting down on the throne with the crown on his head.
That, that's a whole, that's a whole, that's a whole different thing that I'm working on.
And if you guys really want to know what that's all about, just follow me, keep an eye on what
I'm doing because half of things that I'm doing right now, aren't going to make sense of later.
Um, so that's one of the things that doesn't make sense is why is this Metabot eight,
but he has human hands and he's dancing and, and who are those women that are next to him? That's
a whole different thing. And it all makes sense later. It'll all make sense later. But, um,
but yeah, the whole, the whole thing with, with, you know, uh, with the Metabot eight and the banana
guns was just, you know, to create a project that helped me, uh, fund like, you know, like hex was
saying, you know, helped me fund this, uh, this, um, meta bus and, and the initiative that I've,
you know, that I've taken, uh, that I've taken on and are very, um, very, very passionate about.
So, um, so yeah, just, you know, follow me. If you, if you guys, you know, want a unique
Metabot eight, um, you know, hit me up and, and yeah, just keep an eye on everything that I do,
because, um, you know, and, and if you haven't gone into Nifty Island, get into Nifty Island,
you're going to want to get it. You're going to, you're going to, you're going to hate yourself
if you don't, because I think Nifty Island is, is on the, on the right track into doing what,
what they're doing. Uh, it's just going to get bigger and better.
It is just going to get bigger and better and more active. Um, because at this point, I mean,
there's, you know, every man, it was so fast how many people went in there and, and just started
doing some amazing things. I want to personally thank everyone of the listeners that has come in
today. Uh, I see the molar crew jumped in here. Shout out mother crew. There's a molar island
inside of Nifty Island. It's actually called Molar Island. So don't look that up. Um, but you could be,
if you want it to be a tooth running around, you could be a molar running around Nifty Island in
which that was kind of fun, uh, to, to make and, and to get out there just to see,
because it wasn't for the molar crew. I would have never gotten on friend tech and they've been
super supportive to me the whole time. Um, and so huge, huge thank you. And to Alias,
that's been out mapping. They, I saw they got a huge ruble on, on over, over there with their,
with their maps. So congratulations to you on that whole thing you got going on. Um, yeah,
so there's just been, but they, they've been super to me and I got a, I got a shot of them. So I had
to make them their own little teeth so they could all run around Nifty Island together and, you know,
brag about being the molar crew. Uh, that said, met a mic. Joe, you got two minutes each if y'all
want to say something. Okay. If you wish to let people know what you're doing, where they can find
you, what you have going on, or maybe, maybe you just want to say hello. Bye. However you want to
say it. I'll start with metamike and then go to Joe. Yeah, I guess, uh, you can finally find me
most of the time in spatial, um, at music district. So just look for music district and you can come
by and listen to some music and the longer you spend in the space, the more music district keep
coins you can earn and you can use them to buy stuff like cars for your backpack or snow for your
environment. Or you could even get right now a little heart avatar. So you could run around as
a heart and spread some love during this February. Um, so yeah, come by and, uh, check us out.
So music district's doing some super cool stuff. The fact that I can fit a car in my backpack,
that just sounds super amazing. That's like a dream, right? That's that, that's that metaverse
for you for real. Uh, there's some ant man crap going on there. Joe, man, I've, I've missed you.
I would hope to see you coming back. I know I've seen you coming in on LinkedIn, which is,
which is really cool. You should grab a mic over there one day. But that said,
if you want to share anything, you just want to say hello. You just want to be like, what's up,
peace out kind of thing. You know, just give like the shout outs, you know, um,
or you just want to wave and say, you know, nothing. Just like, give us a little virtual
voiced wave. Thanks six. No, I appreciate all the nice words and stuff there. It's been a while
yet. I haven't left. I just kind of re regrouped a little bit, had some life stuff to go through
and then, uh, I was working with mints for quite a while and he's on vacation in Columbia right now.
So we both kind of burned the candle at both ends there for like a couple of years straight.
Now I'm back, uh, learning unity, uh, C sharp scripting, kind of starting over,
building a better fundamental, and then working on hopefully a larger project, more AR in real
world, trying to get with, uh, a local, a city by me. I don't want to say too much,
but basically what I want to do is create an exhibit through a city in the arts department.
And so there's a lot of like red tape with that. So it's taken a lot of effort and time,
but hopefully within a year I should have something there. Other than that though,
still working with Hollywood land studios doing games and, uh, that's kind of going to be the next
level, I guess, really all I can say. Uh, how's, uh, Cora Apollo and then also speaking to OVR real
quick, Apollo was at NFT Seattle. We had one of the exhibits there and it's still, there's a,
if you get bored and you go on OVR and you go to pikes place and look around a little bit,
there's a, uh, a little trophy case for a banana guns sitting right there at pikes place markets.
Still. Oh, that's awesome. That's really awesome. Um, yeah. Cora Cora is doing Cora doing good.
She's, uh, she's, uh, she's just chilling. Um, in a bedroom right now, uh, hanging out with, uh,
wasn't that about eight, um, kind of consoling him because he said, but, you know, that's something
I, I, I, that was actually the last render I did with her, but, um, but now I'm, I'm going to be
bringing her back. Like I said, there's, there's, there's, uh, you know, a little something I'm
working on and, um, she's going to be involved. Uh, so is a few other, uh, projects that I haven't
even brought out yet. It's gonna, it's, it's going to get, uh, shown pretty soon. Um, there's a few
things that I haven't dropped. I haven't shown anybody yet. Um, I didn't really have a spot to,
like, I didn't have no way of kind of bringing them out or I, I just kind of created it. And now
things are starting to make sense. So, um, yeah, she's gonna, she's going to be showing up pretty soon.
You will make Hakate very excited, almost too excited. I remember last time Hakate was like
getting some virtually jealous everywhere. Like, he's like, I mean, the, the, the language and the
words going between Metabot Ape and Hakate were getting like heated. It was, yeah, you would have
thought Usher was dancing with her on the stage or something, you know? Uh, this is a great time.
Thank you everybody that came in. Last little thing for everyone to know. Tomorrow, okay,
tomorrow we will be on LinkedIn. We'll still be back here on Metaverse Radio. You can hear my
voice again, but tomorrow we will be hosting on LinkedIn. Okay. We will have Holiday Horton,
okay? And who is Holiday Horton? Well, let me just tell you a little bit about this lady,
okay? She was the lead artist and 3D animator on NFL game day at Sony with the launch of the first
PlayStation in 1994, led teams on 12 AAA projects, selling over 5 million games, went on to build a
game company that later sold to Sony in 2001. She has 38 years of experience in immersive media
and stereoscopic imaging and began using supercomputers in 1987, okay? You can actually,
her picture, she was the one in the Britannic Encyclopedia for those of us old enough to
remember those books, okay? Back in, back in 1991, 1992, okay? But if you look up supercomputers,
it's her picture that's in there, okay? She was one of the first creatives to work on the
supercomputers. So she will be with us. She will be the guest with us along with Paul Dreamcolab
on LinkedIn tomorrow. So if you want to talk to her, you want to learn more, you just want to
hang out with somebody. She'll be over there with us on LinkedIn. She's also one of the artists
that is creating for us down at South by Southwest during our XR, what we are calling the art walk,
capital A, capital R, small letter T, walk that will be hosted on March 12th around the convention
center, okay? So South by Southwest, meet this creator, meet the artist. Apollo is also one of
the artists and creators that will have things out for people to see along with human down there.
You'll see some really cool things, different people. It's going to be a great time. If you're
not able to be there physically at South by Southwest, don't worry. Most of these experiences
will be able to be seen remotely, okay? So even if you can't be there physically, you'll be able to
check them out remotely. We've got some amazing giveaways, some amazing things happening.
You heard it here this Saturday. Don't miss the Super Saturday space where you may just be able
to win or to get to receive a MetaBot Ape for yourself. All right. That said, thank you everybody.
Thank you Metaverse Radio for giving us this platform for artists and creators to their voice
heard around the globe and by continually supporting the cause that is the Web3 and the
creators. We love you all. I'm going to end this space like I do every space. We're just going to
disappear. You're going to hear me talking and then all of a sudden you just won't. So here we go.
I love you. Thank you. GN, GM, good night.
