Hello. Hi. Hi. Hi. What's up? Namah. How are you doing? How was the week? Not too bad.
I have my friend Saurab joining in. Saurab has done the house of Shaktilogo. So I told him he could join our space and learn more about Tezos' arts and probably socialized with some NFT artists to get his join status.
That's awesome. I really like your DPs or welcome to this space. Hey, okay. Thanks for tuning in.
There is just a few more minutes, let's wait for a few more people to roll in and then we start with the Wheatley Agenda.
Hey, Akhil, welcome to the room. Hope you're doing good on this Wednesday night. At least you're in India for all of us.
You can't call the sound effects, Shakti. You said it was temporary. You only had the phone for a while. Yeah, so.
I managed to get the phone. That's awesome. Yeah. Do you hear my voice normally or do you hear it with the filter?
You should do this through this space. It will be hilarious.
That's really cool. Are these built into Twitter? Was it some app running on the side? These are built into Twitter on iOS.
Essentially it's an extension of Twitter's cases. I think these are in beta right now and eventually they're sort of rolled out for everybody. That's very cool. Maybe you should do some skits.
Should we start? So welcome everybody.
We bring you news and updates from the Teso ecosystem every week. Usually on Tuesdays. Every Thursdays we have an artist spotlight. We would love to start with the BTV agenda but before that I would love if everybody can
get more people in the room. Also join our discord. We have some amazing activities and surprises for the community that joins it. So you know, you definitely don't want to miss out on the cool things that are happening. And I'd like to sort of, you know, invite
Hello everyone, welcome. This is episode 11. We reached 11. And we managed to do this every week. So I think that that is
some credit. All right so it's been been interesting week. A few things to talk about. Nothing majorly
game changing and you know you have weeks like that you can't expect crazy things to happen every week but crazy things did happen in the last week just didn't happen in the art space so I'll be talking about that soon I know I think you know what I mean
But this is to start things off. We are Tezos, India Arts and Culture and Teppur Indian Culture is now a few months old.
artists understand the Tezos ecosystem to bring in new artists from who are not from Web 3. So a lot of introducing all of Web 3 technology to people through Tezos which is great. This is always amazing seeing people discover this technology
the first time. In fact, one artist recently tweeted and exclaimed, "It's magic." And I'll be talking about him as well. Why he said that. But yeah, for a lot of artists, this is magic, this whole new world that exists to
take your art into the digital space, connect with people and especially in the Teso's ecosystem to make additions so that you can reach more collectors and have your work in the hands of people all across the world. So Teso's Indian Arts and Culture exists to help
grow this philosophy and this experience that artists can adopt. And more than that, we work with galleries across the country to start introducing them to Web 3 technology and on the most public
We are also working with events and festivals and art festivals especially to work on collaborative projects, do workshops, do panels, build interesting art installations. That's something that's going to happen soon. It's too early to talk about it, but it's something we're working on.
And it's this kind of work that happens at Tesos India Arts and Culture. And once a week we do the art week, which is a quick roundup of what's happening at T.A.C. as well as what's happening in the Tesos world in general and the crypto artwork in a broader sense.
So that's the quick intro. We're very active with the community that we're building through our discord. We do all sorts of things. So if you tuned in a month ago, there was events being conceptualized on our discord and then
The events happened and a lot of artists participated. Right now, this month we're doing one month of giveaways, but it is not just a regular giveaway. It's about understanding what goes into projects, especially PFP projects.
So we haven't asked me anything with the founders and the artists of these projects so that we can talk to them about the experience in doing things like this. Ask them questions if we're curious about starting bigger projects of our own and just get an
idea of what it takes to do things in this ecosystem as an artist beyond just putting your own workout, the bigger picture in art projects. So that's ongoing on the discord if you want to participate in the AMA, you're welcome to join and just start
chatting in the general channel. We currently have an AMA with crypto dudes who is the founder of the fellowship of Elmarish which is a very cool project. It is a PFP project, the characters
from a universe that CryptoDoodle's has created and there's an entire story behind it by the exist. There's a wonderful video that they've also created with voice over and things, so really professionally done and quite a helpful founder in that sense and very open to conversations.
So we've been talking to crypto dudes on our general channel and today is the day that we start the second of the Ilmarish Giverways, which will end in 24 hours tomorrow. So if you've tuned in, this is like the right time to just join our Discord, go to the Giverway channel.
Click the giveaway button. That's all you have to do. And then you enter in the giveaway and tomorrow we will announce the results. So if you hear this within the next 24 hours, definitely join our discord and enter the giveaway for ilmarish number 8608. It's a pretty
cool PFP character and I think within the Elmer-ish lore this one this character has some pretty cool armor and cloak and the sash it looks looks like a character out of Game of Thrones actually from
Any of the Game of Thrones, actually I'm thinking of character but I can't remember her name. Maybe you can cyber shut these. Take a look, you might remember who I'm thinking of.
but it's a cool, a pretty cool giveaway. Have you seen it?
I didn't get any of that. Can we have you back please? Can finally come back. Hello. Welcome home. Awesome. I was saying it looks like Jamie Lannister with his fancy armor and the blonde hair.
It is kind of Jamie Lannister, no? Yeah. With the funny, well, the hand is also an eye in hand. Absolutely. This is Jamie Lannister. So I've entered the giveaway.
Hopefully I win. It's a pretty cool project. In fact, if anyone wants to get into it, the floor is super low. Don't judge the project by the floor. It has really don't because we haven't. The art is absolutely amazing. It's like if you look it.
the lighting, the texture, it kind of reminds me of the kind of work that Amrit does with toy faces. It's got a similar vibe. So yeah, it's a pretty cool project and I
selected one from the characters holding up beer. So I had to like, okay, I'm definitely getting that one for myself. And yeah, I think crypto tools is done a good job with this and been very helpful. You know, the since the giveaway is still going on, you can just ask crypto tools
any questions on the general channel. All the answers have been pretty helpful so far. And sorry, go ahead. No, I was just saying the artist beautiful. I'm just checking out the project right now.
And we love to sort of you know ask them what their plans are for the future and where they want to take this project Definitely I ask crypto dudes to join us on the chat, but they live shy about talking so feel free to join and ask those questions I had actually
We love to hear what's next since I'm a member of this community now. What's really interesting about this, which came up in the question that was asked was that it's one of the very few 3D PFP rendered PFP projects on Tezos. Everything's usually hand drawn.
with a little shading but this is straight out of blender so the artist has been able to do the lighting and the modeling in blender and then also have the different variations fit into that kind of lighting and modeling which is really well executed you know with 2d you can
I kind of see the layers but here everything looks rendered in itself which I find super amazing because there are a lot of them. So, yes, the first time I saw this project I just looked at the art. I'm like, it's amazing. Then I saw the floor and
like this is just not right. So this is also an effort in trying to get more people interested because I think it's a great community that is yet to be discovered by a lot of people. It's launched in September I believe. So you know it's still very early.
There's so many cool characters in there. I can't tell you like this. I think there's something for everyone. And there's the Ilmarish, the outer circle, which is the first project, which is all the warriors and the wizards and things like that. But there's also an inner circle, which are the artisan community.
of this world. So you see all of them with luths and musical instruments and paintbrushes and all that. So the one I have is from there. They're the non-fighting ones and they're basically chilling doing stuff or drinking beer which I like. You know, either painting, doing music or drinking
which is nice. That's what people should do while everyone else fights. So it's a fun project. I think anyone who's really keen on understanding what it takes to make live characters and PFPs should check this out.
Sounds lovely. I would love to hear about the big news, you know, maybe that, you know, the one that you were mentioning earlier. The big news. Well, the big news is 7,000 people. And this, I can
across the 7000 people when I was invited to go to the Manchester United event. It was a screening event that happened in Kukata and there were 7000 people there. And I was there because Tezos has been associated with Manchester
to United for a while now. They sponsor their training gear so whenever you see a manual player training or off the field they wearing a shirt with the Tezos logo on it so it's it was one of the major branding exercises that at that Tezos has made. Branding
partnerships. I believe they have partnerships with McLaren and things like that. And we don't talk about this stuff on the Arts and Culture channel because it's it's more about the PR but I was there so I'm happy to talk about it. It is amazing seeing so much
I'm not sure how many of those 7,000 people are really in Web 3, but I would say in terms of effectiveness to just put the idea that something like Tezos exists into 7,000 people's eyeball is
Yeah, it's quite quite something to watch. So if you go to the Teso's India page, you can see some photos of that. I am wearing a Teso's t-shirt and looking at the crowd and the photographer captured that moment. So it gives you the
idea of the scale of this event. I actually thought Tezos running on the S1 tournament that happened in Singapore recently. Yeah, they found some McLaren I believe. Yeah, I think so. So there is this entire side of the Tezos ecosystem
That looked into branding and doing branding activities and this partnership with Manchester United is one of the sponsorship with McLaren is another and use. You see these associations that they don't really come into the
NFT ecosystem not yet. I believe will in a major, major way. But as of now, I think the closest we've come to really corporate sponsorship coming into NFTs is when GAP had collaborated with Dogami and I'm not sure if you saw
that, but dogami is this upcoming game where you can you can buy the NFTs now. It's a 3D file like GLB file that you can buy, but then it becomes a playable dog in the Peterverse, which is a meta
They were building for dog, the dog characters that they've created. So they had two drops where they dropped two generations of these dogs. And after the second generation of dogs, they did a tie up with Gap. Gap is an American
clothing company. I don't know if gap has come to India. I haven't seen any but I live in a city that doesn't have everything. I don't think so. There's gas but not gap.
Okay, all right. So gap was kind of like this very American apparel company. It's really huge in the States. It's one of those proud American companies and it was like very hip. I noticed a lot of gap when I was studying in the States.
many many many many years ago. So yeah, yeah, Avacrom being which you know whether that's kind of a controversial brand now. Gap collabed with dog
And they did a collab where gap designed 3D objects for the dogs, therefore branding, which I think the dogs can take into the Peterverse when it begins.
So that was really the first time I saw a major company coming into the Teso ecosystem. But I would say that they will probably be more of this happening in the future as we see more of these kind of partnerships happen at the top level of marketing for Teso.
And while this is happening, there's also the association with art basil. So, you know, that's managed by a completely different side of the ecosystem. And that, as you could imagine, is more serious art, but also technology.
So there's always FX hash involved in these installations. So I believe that's happening again at Art Basel in Paris. So on the on the event side of things,
entries have already started rolling in. So a lot of spooky Halloween theme just dark noir sort of art is popping up under the hashtag #DarkTes. So there's no cap on the number of editions that you can mint or the pricing as such it's just a way to this
cover amazing art you know in this particular theme and another event that sort of also shot out during this month is Pukituna. So testuna was a huge event a couple of months ago where everybody was just
meaning art that they liked. There was no particular theme but the same sort of people are now doing spooky tuna. And there's a lot of overlap with dark tess and spooky tuna but yeah everybody's going for it.
create a witnessing events it's good good to know and Halloween time right so tears is always very active on Halloween. Are they both from photography organizations like the people who are
who started these hashtags.
Dark test for sure is for test. I actually joined this server as well, but I'm not sure about spooky tonight. It's the same test to na group. Well, I know a lot of the test to na.
group of photographers. So it's really amazing to see photographers take such ownership of the ecosystem. They really made it their own and I think it's super good.
for Tesos that become the home ground for so many photographers because if they're doing events so often that means they're kind of committed to growing the community here so that's great to hear.
Yeah and I'm also seeing a tweet that they're also running a site contest as such within the dark test communities. So up to 120 Tesos will actually be given away as prizes.
to people who have amazing entries. So that's an added incentive, you know, apart from discovering new artists and, you know, getting collected by new collectors, you also get to win a prize if your entries, you know, outstanding or something.
I definitely see more things like this happening, like even prices and Teso's been given or even curations in galleries. I think I hope more people do that as well that have an event on ecosystem and then
After the event take all of the work and have a real life show I know it requires a lot of work to do such a thing but I'd love to see this event culture move into the real world soon especially with the photographers because I really think
If they take their work into galleries, people will appreciate it. It's really, really good stuff. And I've said this before that the photography on Teso's is unlike any photography you'd really come across if you look at it from that wide angle.
great way to build your brand also as a photographer you know because the cost to entry is very low and you know once you have a particular style
that everybody sort of admiring and collecting. Yeah, you could experiment and I actually appreciate a lot of the artists what they're doing because they they go through analog photography and that whole process and then they make them to NFT. It's not just
someone with a smartphone doing it. I'm sure people do great stuff on smartphones but a lot of the photographers are actually using film. So it would be great to actually see those film prints in a gallery show. Now I'm just imagining here what can come out of this and
We can look beyond just showing NFTs on screens, which is the standard way of doing things in the NFT world to break through that limitation and maybe move into physical prints and installations that's something that we have
working on as well. Generative art is beneficial if you're using screens because you can scroll through them or show variations. But photography I would say is just beautiful on physical medium whether it's a canvas or paper so would love to see.
something like that happened for the photographers and Tezos. Maybe we will make it happen. It's too good a concept to kind of leave hanging and wait for people to do it. Perhaps we'll just take this on and do something in this regard.
Absolutely, you know, you were mentioning this artist also had some news and updates, right? Arunang Churoy, I think.
Yes, yes, I started with this is magic that was Arunam Shuroy exclaiming when he sold out his third drop. He was quite in shock. He's like, what's going on? So he's an illustrator from Calcutta.
who we connected with during our workshops. I've known him for a decade now, but from the fine art world and he's pretty established in the fine art world, but also one of the artists who's been doing it for so long that a lot of people are
kind of not putting the spotlight on him anymore. So, you know, they've seen his work. It's niche. It's sometimes a little odd for galleries because it looks like graphics
but it's all pen and ink. So when we spoke at the workshop about the work that it put out on Tezos, actually started with the work that the galleries are not really embracing the black and white very graphic looking pieces.
that he'd done and these pieces are now NFTs but they also the pieces that he has not really been able to sell. He sells a lot of work that's on canvas with colors and things like that which we decided strategically to not introduce
as NFTs we went for like the stuff that really is different and if you see his work it's these really intricate cityscapes where you have all of these characters interacting with each other super super busy every corner that you look
you'll see a different thing happening. And if you're from India, you can almost hear the sounds of these streets because there's, it's noisy, it's lots of chatter, you can hear the trams. It's very visual work, it's chaotic in a lot of ways.
All three of the pieces that he's put out are explored different aspects of that. The first one is very urban. The second one is more with animals and it's more of a larger zoomed in frame. So they're not that many characters, but there's some interesting
creatures living by the rivers and the third one is a more urban rural intermixed. You could say like a town by a by nature is of, you know, I'm just like explaining it in a very loose way, but yeah, that was the third one that he put out
and his second, his first drop was very large edition, so it was 100 editions, so it still hasn't sold out, they're quite a few editions left, but he it meant a lot to him, the first work, it was it's one of his important works, it's six feet in size, so he wanted to
I asked him, how do you want to do this? You want to put few additions after understanding how things work. He's like, I want a lot of people to have this. So you're like, okay, we're going to do this as a large addition. But in terms of building up your collector base, the next additions were small. They were 10 and 15.
and do it sold out in a matter of hours. So the first one sold out in a few hours, the second one sold out, the third, well the first is still available the second and the third, the third one sold out in
18 hours I think and it's quite amazing to see a lot of people really get into his work and it's even more exciting because a lot of his work has not been put into the NFT space. The color, the canvas, the
the paint medium that he's been using. So it's an exciting artist to keep a tab on and you know just follow his career because he comes from a very strong and experienced
background as a visual artist. His name is Arunan Shudroy and you can find him on object. We retweet him on the TAC page very often so you can, that's the fastest way you can find his work.
That's lovely. I have another surf short news to share. So on I saw this on ecstasy news. So Tacos Labs, the software development firm has recently announced that they are integrating Teso.
So, they actually sort of have the NFT automation layer and they have integrated Tezos blockchain to support Tezos NFTs on Shopify. And Tako actually helps brands deepen their connection with customers through loyalty programs, gamification, ownership,
etc to help brands increase their customer engagement and retention and the platform is sort of a complete end to end with three automation solution and this is a great move because we are now in this phase where more and more brands are also sort of turning to Tesla
because convenience like low gas fees and energy efficiency and it's just a clean chain right and that is something that is sort of attracting brands to now explore this ecosystem and the fact that now due to this integration people will be able to add Tezos
NFT to their Shopify experience, which is huge. >> That matter. This is pretty big news. I'm going to get the links from you and we'll definitely share it and put it out through more channels because that's something that is really great for creators.
Yeah, absolutely. And I was actually having a conversation with, you know, a head of her me day agency a couple of weeks ago and he was like, "Yeah, no, no, my brands, you know, they also want to have a very clean, conscious image and NFTs are not good for the environment."
So here we have the solution right here. Tessos is now also getting more into the mainstream conversation with brands being facilitated to use their chain for their customer engagement and rewards and stuff. So pretty cool.
So there is big stuff happening. We just didn't realize it. What we do now. I also have another pretty big thing that's happened announcement.
from the world of music if I can get into that. Yeah, absolutely. Okay, so this comes from Paris where art basil is going to happen. We need to actually talk about art basil. We'll probably get into that towards the end. But this is its music start.
it's a blockchain based service for protecting works that musicians make. So in essence, it's a copyright mechanism for your physical works. And this is being implemented by Sassam. Now, Sassam is a
Music rights company and the history of Sassam goes back a very very long time. I'm just gonna pull up. Sassam was founded on the 28th of February 1851. So they have been working with musicians and the rights of music since
1851 and of course something that old would be a very very very big thing in the world today if they survived this long. They are however they're not very known to people outside the actual music networking
and music support ecosystem where support is given for music projects and bands to travel around the world. Sassam is very involved with that and of course collecting payments on behalf of artists wherever the music
is played. So they are a rights collecting agency. So say you're a musician, you have your music copyrighted and registered and someone plays it on the radio or someone plays it at a show. You as an artist as the owner of the copyright have the right
collect royalties for these actions. So, Sassam is a system that has been built in France to do this. It's not a very easy task. Like we could do hours of conversation on how this is actually achieved. But it is something that is an undiluted
the music industry for a long time and they are doing something new. So I'm going to quote Cecil Rap Weber who is the CEO of Sassam and he tells music start marks a new
stage in Sassam's quest to develop more value linked to the diffusion of music for the benefit of those who created. We have become a global leader in collective management and it's a long quote. Today's new challenges arise with the emergence of uses such as NFTs and a metaverse
the challenges related to transparency and traceability of the work persists. Sassam is providing a new answer to the essential question of protection of works. So as most quotes from CEOs go, it's cryptic, you know, it's
kind of saying impressive things without revealing things, but I've dug into the announcements and it looks like they're going to give use Tezos NFTs to give copyright protection to musicians and you have to pay a small fee for it. Right now there are two pricing schemes that they've put out in the public.
it's in Euro. Surprisingly, I don't know why. But it says a one-off protection for your music file is 399 Euro and a monthly subscription for unlimited protection of your music file is 499 Euro per month. So my guess is this is a on demand
way of using Tezos to create a contract with Sassam, which enables your music to be copyrighted. And I don't know about enforced. If they are also doing the enforcing of the copyright, that would be super interesting. I think that will be a game changer.
But they are using the contract to establish a sense of blockchain, provenance, provenance for copyright, which is really great that they're using the Tesos blockchain. That means this company that was started in 1851.
believes enough in the Tesla's ecosystem that it's going to make it a platform for all the future rights of music and they deal with a lot of music. So I think this is big news. We don't really get such big news or conversations when it's
related to music because it's always tricky how to plug in music into NFTs. But I think this is a fantastic huge thing that's happening. Hope to see more news about this, a little bit more noise. I really hope as a project it follows through and gets implemented.
They are situations, especially in Web 3 where projects are announced and they not follow through. So I will be following this giving update. So tune in whenever there's an update on this. I'm going to make make myself responsible for for talking about this because I think if this sees itself
through is going to be a game-changing thing for music. So yeah, I'm really happy to finally be able to talk about this. Okay, you know, a few segments earlier, there was somebody who had joined it.
as well as the name was Buddha, they had Buddha illustration of P.P. and I researched a little about them. Apparently it's a new P.F.P project launching on Tesos.
that's launching on Teso's, I think 10 Tes, a PFP, I'm not sure, could check it out, but they also Teso's bakery, that's what's exciting. They're a community bakery, so if we want to get involved as a delegator, this is actually, and you're looking for a small community,
to understand delegation and baking, I think they're a nice community to be part of because it's a bit art as well because of NFPs. So I think they plan on interl, in terms of connecting the two, the baking and the Buddha NFTs have.
Oh wow, I don't know what the baking part that's amazing. Yeah, yeah, I think they're giving some offers to the first bakers who delegate. The first people who delegate, as you know, baking is something that the baker
needs a certain amount of Tezos locked in and then everyone else can delegate the Tezos like no matter where they are, you can have them in your wallet and just delegate them and that gives the baker the right to pick more blocks which is authorized more blocks
or and also gives them the rights to vote when it comes to Tezos upgrades. So it's the process of how Tezos really works and gives responsibility to each person.
in the ecosystem and it's the essential framework of decentralization on the Tesla's ecosystem. So if you want to form a small group to bake together, this is one bigger and project to check out.
A lot of bakeries are like these really really big things that are you just delegate and then
give you a percentage and it's quite cool. So I think the smaller community is in delegating to people that you can talk to. I think is a better way of really participating in the ecosystem. Again, you know, when it comes to the arts and culture,
We don't give financial advice, we don't want to give financial advice, it's more about understanding the ecosystem and the community and participating. So it makes sense to delegate your your Tesos if you're just holding it because
It's a waste otherwise you're not really participating in the governance, but while you're doing that also understand that it's another way of connecting with the community and getting to know more about the technology that runs the Teso's ecosystem.
So yeah, thanks for bringing that up. Yeah, absolutely. And the art also looks cute, you know, just for keep sakes. The art looks pretty neat. Maybe it should reach out.
and have them speak to us next week. That could be cool. Yeah, absolutely. They popped in for a little while ago. Okay, we'll plan it properly and then love to hear what they have to say. Looks looks like a cool new community getting its first start.
absolutely. So just to round up today's conversation, we spoke about the amazing visibility and branding exercise that Teso has been doing with these amazing sports events.
you know soccer events and F1 events and we also spoke about the doctors photography event that's happening. We spoke about the artists that have you know just embraced the Tezos ecosystem and how life changing they find this and yeah
And now these updates like you know taco, NFT labs sort of integrating tezos into Shopify and we've heard some more updates about the music scene. So the scene is actually getting very exciting and it's a great time to be in the Tezos ecosystem and you know make
the most of your connections and resources available here. And for new artists that don't know the Tesla's ecosystem or want to get started on our Discord, we have a lot of learning and tools to get you started. We also have a faucet.
the sense like if you want to you know get your first few tests to just get started and you know just to mint your work so you just have to go to a discord raise a ticket and we'll give you your first testos too you know I'll set you up rarely
Yes. If they are new artists, new people you want to introduce to Teso's please have them join our discord. It's the best place to really get started and ask all the questions. There's a one-on-one help line that we have through our ticket system. You can just open a ticket and
chat with us and ask any questions that maybe you don't want to ask in public because you might maybe feel like you don't want to ask a simple question but any questions welcome just open a ticket and ask away and we have to help you out if you're a first-time artist that's
opening your wallet for the first time, then you can apply for the fountain, which as I was exactly mentioned is just like a small amount to get you started. And we'll help you through and get you going. Maybe it could be the next
sold out artists we already seen a few artists that we wanted selling out multiple editions like Arunam Shuray that we talked about. So it is an exciting place to get to get going and we're doing all we can to help on the T.A.C. Discord.
Absolutely. I don't think it was some more alpha on the PFP giveaways. So we introduced two projects so far. Maybe could you just give us a small teaser on what more projects do we have on board and what kind of communities that can be accessed by winning one of these PFPs?
So up next you have the next 24 hours will be the fellowship of Ilmerish. There's one right now. And after that, I don't have the order fixed, but we have the vessels, which is an amazing project, the first PFP project on
on VERSO by Jake Completon and then we have the Mutant Gecko Gang which is like the mutation of the cyborg Gecko Gang. We have the cyborg Kids Club, one of the early PFPs. We have the Taco Doods which is one of the favorite PFPs for developers. We have
who are very respected projects and also one of the first projects on Teso's first collectibles. They have a new developer and marketing person and they are going to do new exciting things.
also have the GoGoes who are finally doing something new. So, GoGoPore and this is the GoGoes project from last year and it was quite a big thing in the ecosystem because it's very, very
unique and it has been drawn by one of the iconic artists from Tezos, like when you associate Tezos art, early Tezos art, Arya Mularamam, an Indonesian illustrator and his
colors and his work has been pretty well embraced. If I'm not mistaken, I think this is the same artist. Do you remember the controversy of the artist going on to OpenC and then some employees of OpenC being filed?
because they had prior knowledge of the drop. Do you remember this? It was kind of a bit of a controversy last year. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Over a year ago. Yeah, so they had heard about an artist minting for the first time on on OpenC so they had the
So they managed to buy the NFTs early and then it became a big thing with the community. Like why did you give your employees advanced knowledge? So the the the artist behind the art that became controversial was actually Arya. This was because Arya was so big on on Tezos.
It was a very big deal that he was going to do the first drop on Ethereum at that time. And this is when everything was really hyped and things were selling for a lot. So it was this really major moment that Arya is going to do something on ETH.
unfortunately that controversy was connected with that. The art was fantastic and I think he saw all of it very quickly. But he's been pretty quiet. He always puts out his drops on Teso's to say that I'm here and this is home.
But the GoGo's project has been very quiet. They did a lot of innovative stuff. In fact, the GoGo's also a little controversial. I don't know if you follow this project, but they had the PFP drop and then they did gifts to people. They analyzed the behavior
of artists and collectors on Tezos and they gave them different objects based on things. So if you were a flipper, you got a lump of coal. They actually studied the data of Tezos collecting and figured out whether someone was flipping or undercutting
and sent them a lump of gold that you could not burn from your wallet. Wow. It became super, super controversial because a lot of people are really angry like how can you send me an NFT account burn. It's my right to burn it. Yadiara and of course later
public opinion one in that sense. So they created a furnace on the website. So if you've got a lump of coal, you can throw it into the furnace and it makes all this noise and burns. So very innovative project. I think one of the most like forward
thinking code coders who work with Google for in who worked with area this code goes by the name o x 10 dot test I really don't know much about the person behind o x 10 but
Yeah, quite a cult following amongst a lot of people and a little bit of infamous reputation because of the coal which they fixed. So in credit to them, they fixed that stuff and yeah, it's a cool project to check out. So we're going to be giving
the exciting ones too that you can win. Sorry, I just went into the GoGo universe. We'll definitely explore them a lot. I don't want to focus just on what? We have the DGEN, Ducks, the DGEN Foxes. Then there is a Bigfoot Mafia Club. There is
Also, of course, the one everyone's very excited about the Neons and a really, really cool Neons at that. And then we have a few other like very large editions, you know, the Adrops that usually give to projects. We thought it gives some of those away on Twitter, not within the Discord, which is general Twitter giveaways.
So we're going to do celestial otters, we're going to do a DOS Punk X, the Mutant Gecko Gang Tesserts Tribute, the Mutant Gecko Gang Otters Tribute, the Transparent Tessert, the Changis Tessert, these are all
Tribute drops, so they're not really the from the PFP itself. It's not like a one-of-one type thing that you get with the PFP, but just fun little ways of having Memorobilear from a project. So yeah, all of that will happen this month and into the first week of next month.
beautiful so you know definitely join the discord and just participate in the giveaway and you know we are sort of doing a randomizer pick out the winners so we don't really know who's gonna win it
It's random, but all the winners have been different till now. I'm going to check and see how many people have actually entered the Ilmarish giveaway. I need a minute to start up this code and check.
Yeah, there are only three entries. So if you've already entered the giveaway, you have 33% chance of winning. So yeah, it's a good. The chances of you winning as an active participant on T-Act.
active meaning you just have to press the button. Go to the discord press the button. We don't have that many members right now. So with all of these PFPs there's a good chance if you just joined a discord you're going to win something. So just join the discord. It's a good time and we got some really cool projects. We're going to talk about it. So it's not
just about winning some random stuff. We're going to talk about everything and give you an idea of what it is so that you understand the value of what you have because sometimes it's like in the case of the Ilmer HpFP, it's more than just the floor value of the work. You have access to people.
If an artist, you have access to their discord and if you look at it even in the most common denominator, what do I get for this? You might get access to a SHILT channel, I can just share your work. So another place, close space to share your work, if you're looking at really like what's this going to do.
help me as an artist. You can help you, she'll do a smaller community, go check it out, maybe you'll find a collector in that space. So a lot of reasons to get into PFPs. I can definitely talk more about developers, although we don't have, I don't think
we have developers listening in but if you are a developer listening in and you want to get involved with art projects this is the place to be you know all the artists are here these projects are here discussions are happening and you never know we want to help artists and developers meet each other
and create projects. If you want to create a PFP project, a generative project or any kind of innovative large scale project on the Teso's ecosystem, Discord is a great place to start the chat, get things going, meet other people who might make your ideas come to life.
So that's I think that's it from from mind of things. So cyber check day I think oh yeah, there's always one last thing tomorrow we have Today happened a day late so our next space will actually be tomorrow and
that is our Tezos artist spotlight and I am excited about this one. Did I tell you who is coming?
We might have lost cyber shakti, but okay, this is something that I know a lot of us on the discord have been waiting for a long time. So tomorrow Stasos artist spotlight will be Karthik Don Dette.
he has been a very very big favorite amongst the Indian Tezos artists and collectors. He is a computational artist, he is an architect and a generative artist as well. He has done projects with
Harvard GST, MIT, he comes from a pretty strong background in terms of his qualifications, but he's also an absolutely amazing artist. He has a series of landscapes called Algo
which is his second project so he makes his work under Carthage on that he as well as Algo Scrapes and the Algo Scrapes is one of the fastest moving projects that I have seen on Tezos it's almost impossible to get one in second
one of those drops that just disappear. If you look at the algal shapes you see why they absolutely gorgeous. Anyone would want something like that on their wall, they're highly detailed and they are these computational landscapes which are just beautiful to look at. So we have
not spoken to him. I don't think he's spoken on a space before this is the first space. So we're really, really excited to talk to him tomorrow. That's Tessos artist spotlight with Karthik. Don Depe tomorrow 9 30 Indian standard time 9 30 PM.
And yes, this is only going to be life. We don't record artist spaces because we want them to be candid and open and you know maybe some of them want to reveal something that they don't want on permanent record. So the
only way you can listen to the amazing story that we're going to hear tomorrow and you know all of these reveals that a lot of artists give are at the space that's going to happen live tomorrow at 9.30.
And I can't hear Shakti, so I'm going to wrap up the room today. Thank you everyone. We really appreciate that you come and listen to the Tezos art weekly because it's
It's more of a weekly catch up. We don't really get the chance to speak to everyone because we have so much to talk about. So we appreciate it even more that you're coming and listening to the space live. If you're listening to this recorded,
Thank you for tuning in and we'll see you next week and tomorrow at Teso's Artist Spotlight. Good night everyone.
