So usually every second week or so, we play Minecraft.
This is basically the Taze's community server.

you wanted to see my automatic farms.

It's, uh, so in vanilla Minecraft.
One of the resources you are going to use a lot of, and that is for firework, rockets, TNT, it's called gunpowder.
Now one of the only creatures that drops it is the creeper.
In the overworld, you can get it from witches.
You can get it from in the nether.
You can get it from gasts.
There are options, but...
We have a mod on the server called Better on Bedrock, I believe it's called.

But yeah, so this right here is sort of a gunpowder farm, and the creepers drop extra stuff also.
They drop rockets and more gunpowder and stuff.
So anyway, I just sit up here and it makes gunpowder for me as the creepers spawn and die.
So is there guns?
I love how your gun, like, your gunpowder form is like all the way up there.
So like no one can come there.
Well, it's so that nothing else spawns.
There's no zombies or skeletons.
You know, far up.
Like, if you get deep into this game, there are mechanics and there are sort of like rules that things follow.
But yeah, we've been kind of doing some work around here.
What do you do with a gunpowder?

Well, you make things.
So if we go over to the crafting table here,
and we look up something like, we'll say, T&T.
T&T takes sand and gunpowder in this sort of,
or like you have to make it in this way.
And then you get one of these.
Notice how it takes five gunpowder?

Now, if we look at rockets.
There's a lot of different kinds of rockets.
We'll just do this one.
I usually use three gunpowder so that I get,
that's flight duration one.
I have flight duration three.
They last a little longer.
You can fly a little further.
So it takes three of these and a paper to make one of those.
So gunpowder can get kind of expensive,
especially when it's taking three every time I want to just go like that.

Well, I do know Theo has done some work on his as well.
So we're going to head over to his base.
So, you know, let's, so Teia, basically, this is a marketplace and you can just like trade with,
with with with with the NPCs so there are these enchantments that you need for your items
they don't i mean you can find enchanted items in the game but traditionally you'd have to go
to an enchantment table and create the enchantment and put it on something and then combine them
and there's this whole process the old school way of enchanting and then there is villager trades
village or trades are interesting
Because they allow you access to basically get whatever enchantment you want at the cost of emeralds.
Emeralds are kind of free once you figure out how to farm them.
So we basically have what he'll have once he's finished with the Tea Marketplace on this server is a place to get all your rare books, upgrades, and enchantments on the cheap whenever you want.
And it's kind of cool.
It's much cooler than my underground slave pit.

So one kind of fun thing about this game, AJ, if you're getting into how everything kind of works together,
you'll start to notice that some things work better when they're done in certain ways than others.
Like in farming.
If you make everything in rows, they grow faster.
Want to know another secret?
Bees, pollinate, and make these things grow faster.
Oh, wow.
So how do you?
Why are the bees staying there?
Are they all, like...
I've got this enclosed and get glass.
This is sort of my farming experiment that I did.

So, okay, that's not going to work for me.
Because that's supposed to be potatoes.

At auto plants, that's funny.

So if I'm going, and I'm going to just do this with my axe, let me just kind of, all right.
So we got all these potatoes.
Now I'm a farmer.

Now these bees, they're going to grab pollen off of these flowers.
You notice how their little butts are clean?
Yeah.
And what's funny is, man, is they'll grab pollen off these flowers and then on their way back to this thing.
If they happen to hit any of these crops, it's like I'm hitting it with bonemeal, which is, like, basically speeds up their growth.
And so these things will kind of travel around.
They'll get stuck.
They'll go back and forth.
And eventually, they'll end up pollinating this row and it'll grow way faster than it would normally.
Now, also because it's in a row.
It grows faster.
If I had just done, see the little sparkles down there,
start pollinate.
If I had done these is just a big group of potatoes, it wouldn't grow as fast.
So this game has lots of different things that are kind of like maybe you didn't know it,
but, you know, different things.
The bees get really mad when you collect their honey.
Can you figure that stuff out?

well that's why like if i want honey and stuff i built this this little farm here those are
bees nests and during the day bees will come out and they'll get the the honey and then it automatically
gets their honey this grows the sugar cane oh yeah remember the last time we looked at my sugar
cane farm it was kind of pathetic yeah better now you're now it's going in 60 oh and then remember
when i mentioned my little slave camp my villager trading center
So what K-Torn's made is a much, much better version of this right here, which is my iron farm, which I did fix.
It does work now.

So these guys, like if we talk to him, you'll notice he's got different things for sale, mainly use this guy for Glass to Land.

I can buy that book and I can buy this book.
I can buy weapons.
I can buy tools.
I could sell my farmed goods like my potatoes.
So see I have potatoes?

If you want villagers, you got to find a village.
So like, I guess, let me take you to the closest village,
give you an idea of what that looks like.
We head over this way, down this river,
and through the woods, the grandmother's house, we go.

Uh, that's see here. That is a broken nether portal and then just over this shore should be a bombadadam, a village.
So this is where villagers naturally spawn. This is where you're going to find iron golems patrolling.
You're going to find blacksmiths working. You're going to find, uh, well, not there because I stole it, but.
preachers doing things and clerics I guess is what they're called they're having kids you see that the farming
So they kind of have their own little culture thing going on.
If there's a weird emergency, I can ring the bell and they'll run into their houses and hide.
What I did, AJ, is I grabbed two of these people and I stole them and supplanted them to my world.
And then I force fed them carrots until they filled that thing with children.
Then I made them all work for me.
Yeah.
and they live underground in a hole.
So it's a villager trading center,
but other people might call it something else.
But just to give you that idea, yeah,
I threw them in a boat and I basically had to...
You're basically a barbarian.

You're an impassad there.
This game, there's definitely a dark side to it.
There can be a very dark side, like the cow slaughtering.

So when you start playing this game a little bit more regularly,
one of the first things you need to deal with is hunger.
Hunger is a big deal
More so than sleep more so than even health because you'll start losing health if you don't grab hunger does that make sense and if your hunger is high your health goes up
So yeah so let's see here. I got to go up to slatter and we're going to the we're going to the the cow farm the it's a moosh room
Okay, and just know that. Yeah, we got to go north north north this way. I
Okay, this is the Guardian farm. This is where I go to get all my experience.
It's kind of like the Creeper Farm, but these are called Guardians and we're not actually going to the Guardian Farm, but that is where the Mooshroom Farm resides.
So I go through here. I hear you swimming.

Yeah. I got stuck in this like this caves trying to get out.
Welcome to Minecraft, buddy.
That is everybody's story in Minecraft.
Okay, you see this island over here?
Yeah.
This is called a mushroom island.
And these are one of the safest islands in the game.
Enemies don't spawn here.
Only enemy or only creature that spawns is called a moose room.
And this is what the mooshrooms look like.
Oh, a moosh.
Wow.
It's like a mushroom in a cow.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's like a cow that's growing mushrooms.
Now I can shave it and I can get those mushrooms off of it.
And if a mushroom, if one of these mooshrooms get struck by lightning, I believe, it turns brown and then I can get brown mushrooms off of it.
But we don't really care about that because we're going to abuse a mechanic called only mooserooms can spawn.
So what I've created is this spawning platform here that looks kind of like this.
Do you see that smoke rising up from the middle?

All right. So this is mycelium, which is if you're into mushrooms or you're a mycologist.
This is the substrate mushrooms grow on.
Well, the mycelium grows on substrate.
Anyway, we can get into that later.

And so that means because we're in a zone called a mushroom island,
and this is mycelium, we have checked all of the boxes for the game to believe it is okay for moose rooms to spawn.
I'm going to go in here into this little box, and it's a specific number of squares away so that...
We optimize the amount of mooshrooms that will spawn.
And what will happen is, do you see that little box right there with some fire ahead of us?
Yeah.
Yeah.
What happened is these moose rooms will spawn up there.
They will see the trap doors that I have along the edges and in the middle,
and they will see them in solid blocks.
They'll walk into them and fall, and eventually we will have steak,
because it will fall into that...
This right here.
It's grinding.
Anyway, yeah, I don't want to wait for it to go, but the idea is pretty sound.
And you look in here and you see, look at all this beef.
Yeah, and then I'll just stick it in here.
Right here. And then I need to refill this. I usually have lava going on in here. Or maybe it's full. It might be full or I don't know.

Now, if you're into black buildings, I have a source of black ink,
which is kind of difficult to get, unfortunately.

So sitting up here is supposed to spawn squid.
Now, I don't know if it will.
Right now it's kind of, I mean, we got so many people online on the server that I'm pretty sure Mob Cap is hit.
And that's fine.
I'm not too worried about that.
But when I'm by myself, squid starts spawning pretty regularly.
Only like three of them or six of them could be on.

What do you do?
You just eat the squid?
Then what do you do with it?
So the squid, they get sucked down into this thing right here.
Yeah.
And then that right there pulverizes them.

So if I wanted to, say, add an enchantment to this bow, even though it's max.

In order to do that, it takes experience.

Those are all kinds of enchantmas for other things.
Like riptide is, I think, boots.
Or maybe a helmet.
I don't know.
Riptide is a trident.
Feather falling is boots.
Protection is just armor.
And knockback is like a weapon.
That's cool.
So if you look, my axe was 4333 with mending inefficiency.
And it will be 533 with mending inefficiency.
And then it costs me 32 levels.
Oh, wow.
And so now I'm level 210.
Yeah, too, yeah.
You just, that's cool.
And if we look at my act, go back there and just
level up.
Yeah, yeah, I could just go stand there and level up now.
Basically get back all those levels.
