well man happy to be back it's been a little bit since i've been on one of these so uh happy to be
back in the mix man yes sir we got a good bit to discuss here within the DeFi Kingdoms community.
As we've seen our first champion invitational, the biggest prize yet,
rewarded to the champion of that tournament.

champions invitational um this past weekend march 29th it went down. And, you know, a lot of, there's a little bit of drama around it.
I kind of want to wait for Mega to get into that.

some stuff but make us having some I think I think technical difficulties with his dog
so yeah yeah exactly the the drama um hola what's up Emerson good to see you. Yeah, there's some drama out in the Kingdoms over the weekend.
And I was in the chat and we'll get into it.

It was a good championship invitational.
And we saw Hitman Burt and Cryptoierre, CryptoDream, Jeweler, in the championship.
Hitmanbert did take home the crown.
And I believe he's already got the crown on his warrior.
The first crown of Summersia was dropped.
So that's the reward for winning the Champions Invitational.
And I don't know, what's the ability call of the Coliseum? I haven't honestly kept up with it.
So I'm sure probably, Si, you probably know if you can let me know in the chat while I'm stalling
waiting for Mega to get back. I would much appreciate that.
I also just, you know, something else that Megan and I were talking about right before we went live,
I have been entering some tournaments and having not so great results recently, man.
Okay, let's see. The effect was insane, right? somebody was telling me that if you get off
like if you can get three of those and have all three on you know your entire team it's pretty
much game over like um so okay i'll wait for your screenshot. Thanks for the help. There, Stixinter, and I appreciate that.
But yeah, I was saying that
I've been entering some of the dailies, some of the patrollers.
They're switching things up. I'm a little bit upset about some of these changes.
What drama? We'll get into it, Emerson. Don't worry.
I'm sure we will get into it once Mega is back.
But yeah, these recent changes with the patrollers, I do like the new levels.
And I think it does make sense for the patrollers' tournament to line up that way.
But I'm a little bit upset because I won one of the patrollers.
It was actually me and Mega in the final of one of the patroller limited tournaments and uh was
able to take home that and went a whole two dollars and fifty cents i was very excited no
chest unfortunately um but i was going to run the same exact team in the treasure uh i think they
call it treasure hunts um patrollers treasure hunt where you do get a chance at the chest and
I was really looking forward to running that same team hoping I can have the same results and they canceled that and rescheduled it
Rescheduled it with level 9 so I can't run that same team
It was I was a little upset. Okay, here he is
Welcome back. I've been stalling bro. I I've been, you know, my comp is stall in the game,
and then you put me on the spot like this.
I've just been stalling hard.

So these things actually are, like, almost soundproof for me.

It was almost, it was crazy so i had had to jump into action there so uh bless you t for taking over the ship
but yes sir so i heard you were talking about a lot of the good stuff within that tournament
yeah first invitational here biggest prize a thousand dollars going to none other none other
than who was it t um it was hitman burt hitman burt the legend yeah so they beat crypto dream
fellow jeweler yes had a nice run he had a nice prize to take home as well i'm trying to find the
damn tournament here how long ago was that? Here's SI coming through with the...

So we were talking about how the first crown dropped.
Or I guess we.

He was keeping me going in the chat.
So, yeah.
He just sent me over what the call of the Coliseum is.
And it's each party member
gains the following effects for 40 ticks um so you use the move it's like an extra active ability
and you get 25 percent lifesteal 10 percent haste which is speed increase five percent increase to
critical strike chance uh 15 percent uh recovery chance, stack limit 1.
So if you have 3 of those, you can fire 40 ticks, that's 120 ticks of a lot of buffs.
Yeah, that's pretty damn strong. I love to see it for an item of that caliber.
You know, this is a high stakes tournament.
Right. It housed a item of that caliber. You know, this is a high stakes tournament.
It housed a lot of great games. Again, me and some guests,
Just, Kong, Worm, and Stix Intern,
you know, went through a lot of the matches.
You could find a video, a live stream
on Stix Intern's channel.
You could find one on our channel.
We kind of divided up the brackets.
It was a lot of fun.
We showcased almost every game we could and yeah dream versus bert bert takes the prize again
these prizes were outrageous thousand dollars three tests and two tokens for just first and
second place to the all-star qualifier that tournament's going to be crazy i think that's
where the grand prize of ten thousand dollars is going down to right yep so that's going to be crazy. I think that's where the grand prize of $10,000 is going down to. Right. Yep.
So that's going to be a lot of fun. Even if you landed in the final four, round of eight,
got double their buy-in. But everyone got paid out for this one.
Big money. Well, it was a free, so okay. It was $20 buy-in, right?
Yeah, $20. So you basically got a free buy-in.
Free buy-in. Right buying right okay so because i
wasn't i was out and about this saturday night i was out and about but i was i was catching flack
actually from the wife because i was in discord a little too much and she was not loving that
because of the drama because and this was like let's get into a little bit. We don't have to give it too much time,
but there was, who was it that entered?
Help me out here.
There was an entry, it was Shock Velo
who basically loans heroes to a guild mate
and gave the entry token,
which not very many people have these entry tokens
and they can be sold and traded obviously are tradable right
right and i can't remember what they were going for but they were like listed for a pretty penny
to buy one so the night before it was around 250 ranging from 200 to 250 us right so right
again and we go look at these prizes that means you have to get second to even make it worth your
unless you consider the chest to be like $100 value of sorts or $50 value.
I guess you get to the final four, but you know that I didn't, I'm not,
you know, that's the people make the market.
So I'm not saying that's wrong by any means.
I think a few were bought up actually.
So yeah.
And Stixintern himself.
I'm pretty sure he bought his before the tournament so he could stream and play the legend himself.

20 bucks yeah five cents i don't know i'll tell you in one second but um still i mean still not
cheap but but the token was given the team was given and you know back to the drama and so at
that point you got a free entry because if you pay your 20 to get in you're
going to get it back no matter what right and in fact if it didn't fill up all the way so if you
got lucky enough to get a buy it's an automatic double up right so so there's no risk there and
it's just kind of like and i believe it was who was it the ender you have more dog drama going down
no we're good we're good okay um was it pavlov yeah that's who it was pavlov was was the uh
and so yeah somebody spotted it i think maybe it was uh fact spotted it and called it out
and discord said here's somebody that's never entered a tournament and now they're in the biggest tournament yet like this is kind of fishy and uh again it is what it is like
bowl on me to the point that it's web three you can these are your assets you can loan them out
whatever but to enter as your first tournament the biggest one is just kind of a bold move
in my opinion like it's just kind of BS, if you ask me.
Come on, man.
So I guess there's some things, and I missed a lot of this because I was streaming it, honestly.
I didn't get to see a lot of the drama actually unfolding.
Dude, I was in Discord kind of going after it.
Because I was just like, dude, there's no risk in doing this because you get your money back automatically.
Maybe even double your money if you get a buy.
You water down the competition for your guildmates
to hopefully have a chance
because if you've never done a tournament,
you're going to get waxed.
You don't have a chance.
So it's an unrealistic entry,
but there's no risk involved
because everything was given to them.
And like I said, no matter what,
you're getting your money back.
So in this scenario, if you get lucky enough to get the buy you basically guarantee a 2x as well right but i mean yeah it's tough to say i mean if you could stack the tournament
with like half of your guildmates you know that you're getting a bunch of chests
yeah the only thing is with these ones is I guess they are Primarily, you know one within these skirmishes or within weekend warriors actually or no this one. Yeah within weekend warriors, right?
Don't know it's tough to say cuz they are one and then who's to say he didn't buy it for like 50 bucks
You know what I mean within the guild or something even if not bro

i was gonna lose though i mean yeah unless you get unless somebody gave me a team like i know
my heroes aren't good enough to compete that's what i was gonna say next because i don't know
where the where the heroes were left i and it's tough say, I think that I was half in and out of the AMA today.
I think the team commented on it a little bit in regards to, um, whether, you know,
options they have, they can lock heroes per wallet, but does that dis,
discentivize a lot of guild stuff? Um, can they do that without allowing,
like, can you still sell a hero and it still be allowed to, like, I don't think you'd be allowed to do that.
Right.
It was a strict seasonal.
If it worked the same way as duels, it wouldn't.
Right.
So that would hurt a lot of the market, I honestly think.
Hey, just to call back to the token or the price of the entry token, SI paid 70, right now $76 worth of Joule.

I was thinking about it and I, and this is bringing up thoughts maybe I was thinking during that tournament.
Because I kind of saw the rumblings within general chat when I peeped in and out during the champion invitational that we were casting.
But I was thinking about it.
You know, there are levels to players.
Like me, myself, I like to play a fair bit, bro.
So I don't mind playing any tournament.
I was in the Patrollers Limited that I went AFK for, actually, for this one.
I completely forgot about it.
But I don't mind jumping in for the cheap buy-ins just because it's that competitive nature.
But just to say, like high-stake poker, there's some players that only are high rollers.
You know what I mean?
They only play
for the big money they they just like that that competitive feel with the big money on the line
so maybe brovia just wanted to kind of jump in he didn't want to jump in for just 30 bucks
winnings he wanted to go in for the big rack you know i mean the big prize i mean i don't know
but i i see both both sides the argument truly
But yeah, like DAX says and it says in chat
You know if it's if it's tradable it is low-key fair game, so I don't think the team

I mean, I guess you heard um while you're handling business they
switched up because we were in the patroller uh limited finals a week ago i i don't remember what
day they all blend together but they had the same um like same level cap same stack cap on the schedule for
a Treasure Trust tournament
that I think was supposed to run
yesterday or today.
They took it off the schedule and replaced
it with the new
level 9 cap, so I can't use
my team.
Damn.
Yeah, I did hear about this.
I just can't catch any luck, any chance i get out they just they
canceled the tournament there was that level 15 that i was telling you about that i felt like i
could have won that one didn't make like it's rough out here it's rough out here i i like
i understand to an extent because we have to you know find where our niches is. But this one I really didn't understand.
I guess maybe the idea is that everyone who's competing strongly right now leveled up their heroes past 9 in our 10.
But what about the people that just cooked up a bunch?

I literally just made teams for 6 and 10, and now it's like, well.
But I guess I think they're still still gonna run regular dailies at that
at that same range i believe yeah but it's just the patrollers right i mean some of them just
row i mean some of them are so close to filling we've had a few sevens out of out of 16s and you
need eight of course if we got 16 you know that does suck because then you just don't get to play
it at all um i mean over time hopefully we get that just straight queue up system. Maybe you can just play a live match for elo
That's what I'm kind of you know looking forward to versus the waiting
Period for this because you know we've been doing a lot more scribbing though, you know scrimmaging between the guilds
I've been running a lot of games. Yeah, I mean, it's fun stuff.
But team, of course, has a few more things, I think, within the Metis contract.
So some things to look forward to.
And classes will definitely shake things up.

That's, man, that was kind of the big thing, you know, I took away from the AMA today.
It wasn't a super eventful ama but they did kind of
hammer home a couple times that more classes is a priority which was great to hear man because i've
been i've been begging for it honestly right on dude i mean we need more more classes is going
to cause a big stir up into tournaments themselves right i mean cause a shift in the economy as per usual when these new things come
out just more heroes available as well um so you may see you know just a a bigger inflow i think
we're gonna get a sneaky drop of a pirate next everyone was anticipating wizard i think pirates
coming yeah i mean that's interesting t you T. You said that behind the scenes briefly before the show.
And, you know, I didn't see Pirate coming, but I'd be excited because Pirate has a bubble bopper, doesn't it?
Well, and I'll need to read the codex again.
I have some great Pirates, so I need to read it again and get myself prepared for what I'm going to do because I have some really good skill high high rarity it's probably my best basic class that i just got lucky on a lot
but anyways um but yeah there was something because everyone's saying wizard everyone was
thinking wizard and i can't remember where i saw it but uh hubert basically said somewhere
that wizard's a little further out and that there's going to be another class before wizard,
which I think means it's got to be pirate.
But the thing about the pirate, the only question I have there is it's supposed to have moves as the,
and this is probably the involved with what you're talking about, has the little gun, right?
And we don't have any equipment right right now so that could be interesting well i think that maybe
just might be like a more of a spell type of ability where you don't need necessarily i i
don't know maybe they bring that in but i think because the pirate holds like the cutlass so i
think you can hold like those type of right swords right i i don't know though for sure but i i do know you know if we're
thinking about the full launch the team showed or i think it was hubert or no maybe it wasn't hubert
maybe his workhorse who tweeted it or second best dad one of the two and it was a photo of a nice
skill that definitely looked like a frost type of you know yeah wizard spell so i don't know if we're
showing abilities maybe we're closer on the wizard and maybe things have changed well that's why that's
why i was saying that that i think is what created all the buzz i mean there's been speculation
between pirate and wizard for a while because we haven't got a class for a while um you know
not complaining not complaining just saying it's coming it definitely is coming though
right right but yeah there was all that they did a teaser a long time ago um and i think it was kind
of three and i want to say like the thief was the other the kind of third one in that teaser
um i think so i'll be i would love thief too, because I feel like that's one of the most interesting,
if you ever read the codex on that,
it's one of the most interesting counterplays for PvP specifically.
There's some really interesting moves,
interesting, you know, steel and stone,
things like that that can really turn the tide for you.
Yeah, I like their kit.
I think it was probably you in our guild chat there
discussing a few of the Codex things
because they're interesting.
And like we said, that's going to be one of the classes
that truly shakes up the meta
just because of the kit alone.
There's just so much utility and can change any game.

I haven't been openly doing patrols often within the the week lately within the months but um you know the
amount i do do has been allowing me to do the patrol is limited so i i don't mind those it's
a small buy-in but they don't really fill that often which i'm surprised to see i don't know
there's a few new names that i saw in there today so i wonder if they're ygg folks
well i think jumping in yet i feel like that that's you know they're YGG folks. Not many jumping in yet. I feel like that's, you know,
they're trying to make shifts around to get, you know,
some of the YGG folks into these tournaments, hopefully.
So hopefully that works.
We'll see because your point,
haven't seen much participation there yet.

Big point I saw brought up in Gen Shed as well, I think.
You know know we have
sponsored a hunt switch which you know to this point i think we got two days left on the honk
one and then we're temporarily you know dumbo on those which is interesting um but why not why not
while we have these these hunters attention these ygg folks attention why not give incentivized potentially
metis patrols if able you know i think that'd be a pretty good idea to keep them around
same raffle system right i mean work something in with with the ygg folks where they you know
let them i don't know if it is an upcoming task for them because a lot of what they're doing it seems to be tasks within their their guild and they can kind of earn rewards potentially from that.
But make one of their tasks enter tournaments you know get top four in a tournament get because you know if they have the incentive to get top four to get top eight even they need better heroes they need to learn the game and you know that's that's all
that's what we're best at baby that's what the community's best at um outside of what the team's
already great at you know what i mean so let's bring them in that would be sweet that's what
as i just said the same thing in chat they wanted to fill they make a quest for the next gap exactly
exactly dude so and i don't know that's why i
speak in in kind of you know unknowingly because truly they could be doing that this seems like a
long kind of sprint within their guild that they they have this going on so um could be an upcoming
task you know we're kind of guinea pigging um pvp anyways right now tournaments overall so you know blonde spoke today
and said five weeks t it's only been five weeks so i don't know what's your thoughts i mean he's
right in the grand scheme of things it's six months is the whole tournament schedule for this
initial and that's just supposed to be season one two is my understanding right so you know we're just at the start of things i know we have
um everybody a lot of complaints in a lot of different areas depending on you know you're
talking about some people want to complain about the the tomatoes the stall comps and that kind
of things other people want to talk about you know just the domination of certain folks you know cleaning up all these tournaments the team today i will say sounded pretty happy about what they've seen so far
they did acknowledge you know that there are some things that they've seen that they haven't liked
and they have acknowledged that along the ways you know they immediately um you know made the
shift to nerf the ability to use the high level weapons and level six tournaments um you know made the shift to nerf the ability to use the high level weapons in level six tournaments
um you know so we have um we have seen them make shifts now they're changing up the level
requirements and trying to make it a little bit more friendly to patrollers and that kind of
thing so we have seen them you know take what they've seen act on it um you got to give them credit there i can still be a
little salty that um you know the only tournaments i seem to have a chance in don't ever make
it is what it is man i was i was begging bowl on the other night too because i made a bunch of 15s
like that's kind of where my heroes i had a couple good around 13 that i stamp on it up to 15 was like all right i'm
just gonna hold these it seems like that's maybe a less popular area where maybe i can have have
a chance and i had to go out of town for for a week unexpectedly and when i come back the next
week there was no 15th on the schedule we do have some back next week i was like yeah that's what i
was saying to the 15th it was this past week it didn't make
um so yeah i was begging ball on like we got to get these back in there man that's that's like my
only chance to compete is in 15s i like the variety um or rather i like having a variety i
like when they include all the the sets right um i haven't because and sorry, one last thing on that, because when they have that mix, I mean, even the whales, which, you know, have plenty of good options, they can't have everything, man.
They can't have 15s, 20s, you know, and even now that they're shifting even more up to 9s, 5s, 6s, 10s, you know, it's a lot to, especially when you're talking about having these like, you know, double transcendent type heroes that we see.
You can't have them at all these various levels.
You can only build so many of those.
So it's nice to have the variety.
Hopefully we can just have that variety fill up, really.
Right.
And what allows that, I think, for the most part is having available players because
imagine if we could have say because as of now you know if there's two tournaments going on like
they do on the weekends you can only be with one wallet logged into one tournament so imagine if
they had a 20s and a fives or sixes going on at the same time so then you know most most of the
going on at the same time.
So then, you know, most of the
bigger whales, you know, more competitive
players can jump in
to that one.
And the other players can jump
in to maybe like the sixes or the
tens and kind of divvy up the player
base. But for us to do that, we
need more players. So, you know,
that will come with time, I'm sure.
We can hope.

Like you said, though, I will commend the team for kind of bringing in
or taking action at least, attempting to take action on a lot of complaints
or problems within the community.
As far as far as like tomatoes
goes.
Where do you feel it stands currently?
I'm not sure if you talked about it when I was gone.
I didn't.
I mean, you know, honestly, I don't hate tomatoes.
I've actually maybe been one of the most outspoken people in favor of them kind of
because I do kind of feel like it is a equalizer
to some degree um you know it just adds a extra layer of strategy i don't totally hate it but i
understand the reason that people don't like it i also understand why it's there and ultimately i
really wish um you know i've heard others suggested i don't want to make it sound like it's my own idea,
but I really wish they had some type of time bank, you know, like I think somebody said Poker's has it.
I think Chess has it where you have, let's say, both players start with 10 minutes on the clock.
And as you make your move, you know, if you moved in five seconds, you only lose five seconds off your 10 minutes.
And tomatoes start when you run out of your 10 minutes, you know. Like they're only throwing them at your side because you're being slow, slow, right?
Exactly.
If they could implement that, it would be amazing because then you're really that's to me, I've thought a fair amount about it.
And that's as far as I've heard, the only option that really incentivizes fast play, which is what they should be wanting to incentivize. Right. Right.
So, you know, and the faster you play,
like sometimes I've been in some of these matchups where I'm not a stall comp
and I'm going against one.
So then I'm trying to fire off mine as quick as I can to get as many moves in
before we get to tomatoes hopefully you don't
waste their get a kill in or maybe waste their MP whatever it is you know I don't want to get
to tomatoes not my strategy there so I just lost my train of thought no but what I was trying to
say was in certain situations you know you play your strategy and it can work out or it can backfire.
But the fact that the tomatoes are there, everyone knows it.
It's a known factor.
But if you're playing fast, you might make more mistakes.
This is what I was trying to say.
Sorry, I'll bring it back.
Playing fast, you might make more mistakes, but it incentivizes players' skill there.
So that's where the time bank really should get you moving and get get you going and maybe we see people make more mistakes that way but also it could be
a big benefit if you're able to fire off moves you know very quickly right i love the idea of
time bay you know you bring up a great point there of you know the pressure i think the pressure was increased i felt it at least um
within the the 26 so the new new idea you have to play within 20 seconds basically or you're
getting a penalty you're getting a overall damage penalty for the whole game from all sources
that that scales basically exponentially it seems until a max of like 10 iterations.
It scales pretty high because I was actually playtesting it.
And yeah, this is a good topic because the one thing,
one big thing, and I'm not against what they did as well.
I think it's a pretty solid mechanism.
But there was plenty of times where I've been in tournaments i'm sure you've
had it happen to you too where um status effects are resolving and you're on the clock but you
can't even make a move and then you get the the damage buff hits you and you're just like damn
how's that my fault right no i i've noticed if you're gonna play it if you and i'm not even just saying to play it on a
stall if you're just gonna play it overall and you are maybe a slower player like myself um in
decision making and and going over all your options then you're gonna want to hit the you
know i'm gonna whatever i'm gonna show you here when you're making a move, you're going to want to hit confirm by 13 to 15 seconds for real on the shot clock.
Because if you have any latency on your system, you might get turtled,
as we've been calling it.
Right.
Whenever I was playtesting it, and it was a half-assed test, to be honest with you.
But whenever we were play testing it
there was really we were just kind of passing turns and just kind of letting it like stack up
and so there wasn't this like status effects or this that and so i was really trying to game it
a little bit and see like okay how long can i wait and in those tests i was able to wait to like
it said about eight seconds on the clock and I wasn't getting hit with it.
But to your point, now that it's like in action, because especially if somebody is using like a sear, maybe you got bleed on you.
You know, there's a lot of things going on in the time bar.
It will hit you where like you have 15 seconds on the clock when it's time to move.
And to your point, that might not actually be enough time like that.
You just automatically are getting turtled yeah it it makes it interesting honestly and maybe they
can adjust it to even like maybe turtles at 25 seconds because i don't think it's been as big
of a problem with stall i don't know has any stall been as success successful as it was those first
few weekends i don't know well so i will say, the other change they made that I think has a bigger effect
is in any of the championship bouts, the tomatoes start 10 minutes later.
So I think you have like 20 or 25 minutes.
So that's really hard to stall for that long.
I mean, possible.
But yeah, so I feel like stall comps maybe have gone away a little
bit they're still around but i feel like they've gone away a little bit because you're not going
to win the championship like if you can get there with the aggressive comp you're gonna have a much
better chance and that um you know longer no tomatoes setup right on yeah i like that change as well um creating a
little different dynamic avoiding the tomatoes all in all for a complete tournament win condition
you know still allowing it in a sense to to bring you pretty far but to give that little advantage
against stall comps is pretty cool uh we got new patch notes uh oh mid stream new preach new uh priest
changes bring them up bring them up yeah yeah buddy let's go so we got changes to holy light
blessings of light okay interesting prayer of Mites getting some reworks.
Ooh, Holy Circle is getting a big Amnesia 3.
Everyone's been calling for that.
Priest might be dead.

Well, not necessarily, but Circle is a huge part of Stalkom, huge part of Priest overall though.
I think regardless of Stalkom, dude the Circle, the AoE, I mean this is insane. T, break it down baby.
Yeah, that's tough because, and I've talked about this plenty in other streams, about how that Holy Circle is like, I mean you're getting sick,
or sorry, you're getting three guaranteed actions like guaranteed heals
They're gonna hit for their full amount. I guess I'm right and at 20 it's 190 guaranteed plus credit
Right plus you get it plus yeah in those crit chances when they hit it they hit hard
So now you're not only getting amnesia three so you can't just fire that again
Because whenever it comes tomato time you would just see people firing holy circle holy circle, you know holy circle a lot of times just heal everyone stay alive
Now you can't do that and also you're gonna lose speed you're gonna lose 500 initiative as well after you do it
So you lose half a turn
And they reworked they were and I would imagine here here's another key thing Damn dude, insane. A few others...
And they reworked, and I would imagine here, here's another key thing, we'll have to see,
but they reworked the heal on that. It was .9 spell plus 3xWiz.
Now it's 1.6x spell plus 1xWiz.
So that was one thing too, if you had like a 60 or 70 uh wisdom priest you were
doing like insane amounts of healing on holy circle and now that's just been nerfed heavily
because it's not no longer three times scaling on ways it's just one time oh yeah and look at this
increase to the holy wrath stun this is. Plus, new combo damage as well.
So it's going to hit harder and it's going to stun more often.
I like that. With the combo, that is.
Yeah, well, they added... I don't know if you saw that.
They did add to target receives 5% extra damage on attacks.
I imagine that that is for other heroes too.
So it could be an interesting way.
If you're playing an aggressive freeze comp, you could go Holy Light and really target on an opponent, right?
Yeah.
The saving grace of a—and I've tried it out.
I didn't love it before this patch, so I obviously don't know how to speak on it yet.
I haven't played this patch so i don't obviously don't know how to speak on it yet i haven't played this patch but holy light and holy wrath combo prior you know your saving grace was that holy circle
now it being such a a risky move the attack priest is going to be a lot more risk reward here
i like it i like it a lot dang it looks like prayer too, looks like it got heavily nerfed on how much damage it's going to scale off of Int.
So those, I know some people were building Prairie of Might comps, and that got nerfed a little bit too.
As far as how much power you'd be able to crank out, so, dang.
I mean, it scales twice as hard with the intelligence, though.
But, yeah, you lose 10 flat.
But high level, it might be actually better if you have high intelligence.

if you look at it is they made priests go from stall to now uh it's it's a little bit more of
an aggro play if you want to play it um Holy Lie, Prayer of Might, Holy Wrath, these things,
you can deal more damage on them.
So basically how they're combating,
it seems not necessarily all stall,
but Priest overall being very strong.
They're just making things hurt harder.
People have said it.
I've seen a few people kind
of been vocal about it they just want things to die faster realistically they want to kill
you know what i mean so right it's more entertaining i'll give it that as well if you're streaming or
playing you'd rather you'd rather be knocking people out or or i don't know is it gonna suck
more if you have a quick loss i don't know but i feel like it's gonna be now i i i feel like you're right it's gonna be more a priest i feel like it's gonna be more like
a little bit of support but really you're gonna be trying to work in like kill windows where you're
you know lining up an attack and you're doing a boost of of um you're either doing the prayer
might boost on um an archer as it's fully ramped um or maybe your
combo and holy light together with holy wrath because it finally gives you you know that five
percent damage plus a little bit more damage on the on the combo and the stun chance all that is
great so i just feel like they made um you know this way more um offensive which again to your point is what they want to see less heals
more more offense also this is a sneaky one at the end we didn't mention the full heal gain 300
initiative that is a sneaky play i feel like for um if you do want to run stalls and if you know
somebody's about to die right is tomato time you get that full heal on your tank.
It can be the thing that swings the match for you.
So that's interesting that they made that a little bit better.
It looks like they didn't remove the exhaust,
so you're still exhausted, but still getting that initiative back is huge
because it feels like forever after you get exhausted.
I tried.
I attempted to play stall a few times with full
heal i never got a good one off i don't think right whether it be just too late in the game
and i valued the full the holy circle more or mana was expensive or whatever it may be but
you know yeah it's it's very situational but i have done it just like in practice before and
it's kind of like it's a big game changer
if somebody's really focusing on taking out like, you know, a certain hero and then all of a sudden, you know,
they get you down to like 20 and then all of a sudden it's like right back.
Great points from Dewey as well. You know, the boars might hurt even more.
He's a hunter, so he's complaining his team might not be able to heal enough with all this
amnesia going on within and no matter changes as well between all this between all these nerfs
right well because we saw and maybe we didn't read this um yeah holy beacon amnesia one which
that is a great war move i feel um but you can still work around that you know if there's
other prayers still did the teal without amnesia even after these changes
for facts priest still has a place looking at it you know I say agrees with
the positive buff to full heal that's nice well and speaking specifically on
hunts there at least I know this might be dated now, but whenever ADFK released their hunt data, Priest was the comp that had the highest success rate.
Like, if you ran a Priest in your team, I think it was like 71% success rate, and it was the highest single class.
So, they've been OP for a lot, you know for PvP and for for hunts for a while so
Their nerf was coming.

wisdom to cleanse, as well as critical heals gain a three times wisdom percent chance to make target

well yeah because that was what everyone was running was was the uh you know crit it was 20
previously 20 uh increase to crit heal chance.
And when you were doing the Holy Light, like every other turn or every turn,
so you got three, we're not going to get into all the math,
but you'd expect to hit it, I think, at least once every other Holy Light.
And then add on to that, if you specifically build for luck,
I mean, then you're just going to be popping off crits left and right. Yeah to that if you specifically build for luck i mean then you're just gonna be
popping off crits left and right so yeah that's that's very true so this is definitely gonna
change the meta up pretty fast bros i'm just i'm honestly shocked i know they mentioned i thought
i read something more changes to come or something like that second batch of changes will feature
smaller and bigger changes to the remaining classes.
This is kind of dope though.
I mean, it'll be interesting.
I do kind of like the switch up here.
Take Roy, crit, heal, but now you make it where you get a chance to cleanse,
which is very valuable.
And also becoming unstoppable is very valuable.
