Yeah, so um, I quit I worked at a warehouse in I think I quit in 2020 I was uh
You know, I was like I know I quit yeah
I quit in 2020 and I was like fuck it
I'm gonna drive my car pack up my car and drive down to LA because I was I was doing like content creation and
I was like using my 9 to 5 money to fund my content creation journey, right?
I'm over it and I packed up my car and I drove down to LA now right when I got to LA long story short
Covid had just hit so I'm there for like a week. I had to fly back
I left my car out there at a friend's house had to fly back, you know, Covid took a lot longer than I thought
I got back out there. I think like finally this year beginning of this year
But yeah, I've been a full-time web 2 content creation since 2020 and now full-time web 3. So yeah, little little backstory. I
Love that. I love that any any so you're up in Canada, right?
Correct. Yeah, just outside of Toronto
Any plans on moving to California?
The thing about that is is so getting a visa is actually like pretty difficult
There's like there are like ways around it and kind of like loopholes
So I don't know if I would ever live full-time
I'm sure there's a lot of beautiful parts in California, but I was strictly only going to you know, Los Angeles, Hollywood
Just because that's where everybody is for like collaboration and to film content and it's just such a shithole there
Like I don't think I'm sorry if anybody lives there and you genuinely, you know, you love it there
I'm sorry that I just said that but I couldn't stand it. I I like going there filming content and then getting out and coming
Back home. Um, so I don't know about ever moving there full-time
I'd have to figure out the whole visa situation, but I know I can stay there for up to like six months
I do know eventually I would love to get a spot
You know to go to whether it be Florida, you know somewhere down south
I don't know to kind of escape this harsh winter on that Canada has but I just bought some property
Just kind of up north here in the Skoka
It's a nice part and you know, Ontario here where there's like nice cottages and stuff
So I'm excited to spend my summer there. So I don't have any plans moved for you, but I will tell you smoky
I think I'm coming to Los Angeles at the end of January to actually film some content
So we'll have to plan and meet up and stuff
Yeah, absolutely. I'm I'm just about 60 miles north of Los Angeles
and it's like a little beach town called Oxnard, you know Oxnard Ventura and
Yeah, it's quite nice up here. It's like basically pretty much 70 degrees year-round
It gets a little cold, you know, like in the 50s

But yeah, man, definitely definitely let me know when you're down here and you know
If you do plan on moving down here, I'll you know, I can speak to you guys about
Doing a Bell Studios content house that could be cool. Yeah, dude, I mean
to speak about what the future holds who knows right just because everything kind of like moves fast in this space and
Bell Studios like in itself is expanding and growing very

Especially like from the very beginning before kind of Ryder came to the equation like me and Brody had always discussed
This was before even Bell Studios was even like an idea or a thought this was around when we were thinking about noti gang
And we were all just talking about having a house together, you know filming content and you know doing live streams and stuff like that
And this was way back. So that's always been a plan and I think we're just getting a little bit closer to that
So I would imagine that it would probably be in a hot spot if we were to get a house kind of like that
would probably be you know, the the hot spots like Los Angeles, New York, maybe even Nashville Nashville was a lot of fun, but
Yeah, I think that's that's a future plan for sure

Doing some streaming in the D God's house, you know

I think that people would be super interested to see you know

You know, I know that Bell Studios is on to doing all these different forms of content creation
and I was in a space last night with leap and
writer writer was in there for a little while as well and it was just a few speakers up on the panel and

How what things would look like?
Once Twitter is moving, you know once once they've moved more towards
having a creator economy and what that could look like and
Yeah, you know, I just I guess I just wanted to get some of your thoughts, you know
leap was able to bring like a really good perspective because he came over from
Twitch streaming where I guess you would just like talk for like six to nine hours and he had like enough subscribers to get
like I don't know. Yeah, I think he was saying like three to six thousand dollars a month and
Then he came over and he started doing Twitter spaces
It was really interesting to hear about like, you know how he started out and he he was just talking about what twitch does
With subscribers and and different things and you know, it seems like with spaces
They just kind of slapped something together, you know, that kind of looks similar to clubhouse
But now with Elon at the helm, they're going to gear it more towards content creation and and you know rewarding content creators
But yeah, I mean, what do you what do you think about all this writer?
Yeah, no, I think that Elon is obviously very pro creator
You know what? We've got there. There's so many things coming out like with Twitter blue that he stated
They're gonna hopefully be spawned into existence at some point soon
like for example, like one of the things I was talking about today with Jake and birdie was the
Identifier for like, okay, let's say you have entities associated with the business, right?
Like, you know, like you have you have Starbucks entities, right? Like on Twitter, you know, Starbucks is a business and then those
You know, then those people with that business will be able to be probably send a request from the main business page
That is verified as the actual business
Which will have its own different check mark by the way and then they'll be able to be identified as somebody associated with Starbucks
I'm assuming that's probably not gonna go down to the barista level. But like, you know, like for high level
you know, like employees for companies like that will be identifiable and that will work as well for things like
For things that Bell Studios like right like we're gonna pass that down to like everybody associated with the studio
Like all the content creators, you know will have that Bell Studios affiliation like in their in their Twitter profile
you know Twitter and Elon are going to try to break the
Try to break the mold as one of the top
Creator paying platforms that exist in today's world, you know trying to beat YouTube's I believe like 50 to 55%
kickback on ad revenue, for example, you know in trying to kind of strong arm them out into
You know kind of being greedy on profits, which let's be honest that YouTube could definitely afford more
It's just a matter of whether or not Twitter can pull it off
Right with their recent small exodus of advertisers, but it looks like most of them are coming back
Quietly, it looks to have been a PR move
Which is quite hilarious to watch play out
But so I don't think he should be in a good position
to try and make that happen and if it does happen in the minute that announcement drops you're gonna see a huge influx of
People just flock into this platform to drop their content on here
They're probably already setting up their accounts as we speak. I'm just really looking forward to it to be honest
Absolutely, you know and and and with those advertisers like leap was kind of talking about like what twitch streaming does and
in order to not see ads on someone that is streaming you have to pay five dollars, right and
Twitch twitch will get half of that they get 50% and then and then the creator gets 50%
So if they did something similar if they're gonna move towards something, I mean, it seems like twitch that model works pretty well
So if they went a similar route with Twitter spaces
I think that that could be really really interesting and we were also talking about, you know, like the comment section, right?
If they kind of moved a little bit more towards
Like, you know like on restream or something where like the comments are just like they're just going right?
There's like a ton of them just for some of the larger spaces. It's it seems like that that would be kind of a good format
So yeah, apparently smoky we're gonna have four thousand count
Four thousand character count tweets as well
I really hope there's a read more button there where it's just like the original 240
And then you can keep scrolling if they don't grab your attention in those first 240 characters. I think it'll be a great model
And really encourage some good some good content and I saw Elon did some replies as well
Talk about the thought tree
Actually, he posted a picture of some internal discussions at Twitter on there. I'm assuming it's slack. I guess
some messaging platform and
They were talking about thought trees and what thought trees are is that you scroll up and down right to view like different people's content
Right. So like the current timeline now and then if it's something more than what already exists here on Twitter
Like this is this is like a complete
Like almost it's not a complete redesign
But really a huge pivot on what Twitter is now
And so like what they would have is that like you'd have you scroll up and down like you normally do right now
Right to view different people's content, you know, whether you're in latest or top tweets timeline
Regardless of whichever one you're in then if they have more content to that tweet like let's say it's a threat, right?
It would automatically be able to swipe I guess to your left probably to view
That thread in sequential order you just swipe on it rather than having to click open up a new window and then click back
To go back to your timeline if you wanted to keep going on the timeline at any point during swiping through that thread
You would simply just scroll down
Mmm fascinating. Yeah, it'd be really interesting to see how it develops
You know, I've seen some changes within, you know Twitter like right after Elon took over and and and it was kind of like
Oh, what's this new change? But then like after a while you just get used to it, you know
I remember the notifications the way that the notifications popped up changed, you know

This is the first time that we've kind of seen an established social media platform that's been around for a long time
Um have like a reformation like completely right from head to toe have someone new in charge fire
What was it like 70% of the staff and the thing is that these platforms when they come out?
They need to offer a model that's different than the others, right?
So with twitch you had live streaming and it was it was live stream focus and they had gimmicks
To to help with live streaming whether it be donations or the subscription set up
Whatever then you had tick-tock where it was like kind of like taking the model from buying a little bit making it more
Music oriented and like music plays a big part in getting on the for you page
Like there's trending sounds kind of like that
So that was their model to kind of coming over and taking over and now with Twitter
They kind of have the option where they already had tweets
They already had their model kind of set up but they have the option now with Elon who is like actively has supported
Content creation all that kind of thing. He doesn't really feel like a corporate entity, right?
so with him in charge, you know, the ball is kind of like it can roll either way he can um
He can evolution like he can he can completely reform like Twitter where it's not just like tweets
Yes, I'm sure he'll come right back up I know that internet connection can be a little tough in Canada
They do their best but yeah

And to see what Twitter does with their own a little special take on the creator economy

We're seeing we've seen a pretty dramatic decline in the Solana to BTC pairing over the last few days
Where things like lite coin and a few other tokens like ETH and BNB
They've definitely pulled back a little bit against Bitcoin, but not very heavily
What's very interesting about that is Bitcoin dominance has arisen
However, Solana is not typically liquid enough to change the dominance of Bitcoin, which is very weird that today
So this has been happening for about two days. Go this would be like the third day that we're noticing this
So basically over the week, okay
How interesting is that considering on Monday evening? We find out he's arrested
So does this imply that whatever Solana was available has actually been sold into the market or does it imply that we're watching?
Desperation moment before the good news because like with SPF getting arrested that sounds like bad news
But is it's good news like it means that we can move on
Right. It means that whatever has occurred can be accounted for and the market can react accordingly
Because all we've been waiting for is clarity if he's really been arrested then we have
Clarity and that's very interesting that Solana of all the assets is
Taking the the majority of the decline
with the minority of the cell volume and for some reason Bitcoin dominance is
Rising even though ETH and the other altcoins are basically staying steady
So this implies that you've got a lot of buy orders coming into Bitcoin in comparison to everything else
But it's all mostly green against Bitcoin
Well that usually happens before a move begins
Because what you need is you need liquidity inside of altcoins to pull inside of Bitcoin so that you're not
Telegraphing all the market buys there has to be some arbitrage
Well in order for that not to break down the market you have to rally those alts against it so that they can lose liquidity
When this happens, well is Solana gonna springboard?
and come back into parity with the market if it does that'd be like a
23% move or like a 25% move and then it would just be on par with the rest of the market
So it's like an $18. I know that sucks, you know to talk about Solana at 18 bucks or whatever, but that would be like
That would be parity. So we'll see this is really interesting that we're fighting out
