What's going on everybody?
How are you doing today?
I'm saying that as if I can get an answer from the people listening, sorry about that.
But you know what it is, it's Wednesday and we are here for another Fang Out Spaces.
And of course, as always, we're having another community episode.
So you guys down in the audience, everybody, all of our regulars, as well as the new faces
that are popping up, you're more than welcome to hop up on the stage and join us for a discussion.
The spotlight is on you guys.
I would love to hear from our avid poet collectors.
I would love to hear from the artists.
Let's see, we've got Busy, we've got Chi Chi, we've got Queso, and we've got the huge community
players as well.
We've got Nick, we've got Z, we've got Tuck, ZTuck, you already know, what's up, and Carbon
Cell as well.
I'm just going to give a huge shout out to Carbon Cell.
I saw that a Pixel Fangster was just minted and inscribed on the Bitcoin blockchain.
I would love to hear a little bit from Carbon Cell as well.
I'm not trying to put you on the spot, man, but that is absolutely huge.
I read on the timeline that that was fangang history in the making, and that really is.
Please prove me wrong if I am wrong here, but I don't think that's been done yet.
So that's huge, guys.
Just want to throw out all of our praises right now while we get started.
As always, I'm joined by Packa and Junshi.
I'm pretty sure Packa is eating, but I'm not going to put anybody on the spot.
No, he's not.
He's on the main, man.
He's on the top today.
Let's go.
How are you guys doing today?
Dinner was earlier today.
RT is not joining us tonight, so I'm going to be running it from the fangang account.
So yeah, back over here, and dinner is finished.
Love to hear it.
I'm glad to hear that we're not we're not ragging you on dinner again and making you
eat multitask this time around, but we love to hear it.
As always, the faces are recorded for anybody who couldn't make it, couldn't be here while
it's being recorded live.
So big shout out to Artie.
As you guys know, if you are a regular here, Arthur Sparks, Artie, another huge player
in the community, community manager for fangang, runs the fangang Twitter account when we do
these things and always slinging the po apps.
Love that guy.
Appreciate all the work that he does.
And shout out to Artie.
But hell yeah, guys, you know, we're here.
We're live.
We're still kicking it.
All things considered, it's Wednesday and it's time to fang out.
Once again, thank you guys for joining us.
I'm Lunalee.
It's definitely where it's at.
No doubt.
I already asked this question, but Packa, I did get a response from Packa Junshi.
How are you doing today, man?
Yo, yo, yo.
I'm doing good, man.
Thanks for asking.
It's been a nice sunny day after a couple of days of rain, so can't complain, right?
It's been good.
Absolutely, man.
You know, we're always we're always building no matter what rain or shine.
So always glad to hear it though, man.
That's pretty dope.
Have you been have you been getting out out and about lately with with a nicer weather
or or have you had a hand too?
Dude, I've been trying, but you know, Zelda came out.
He's been playing all day.
Oh, my God.
You know, I'm sitting on my on my nice cozy balcony playing Zelda and counting it as going
That that's going to do well, that that is going outside.
But how how's your day been, man, Looney?
Oh, man, you know, I feel like these these last couple of spaces have been talking about
the move every every now and again.
But thankfully, all the moving has been long finished.
I'm just unpacking now, man, putting up putting up some paintings.
You know, I'm getting some stuff framed.
It's really nice.
I'm also looking for space to try and get some some NFT prints here and there.
So you know, maybe a thanks there will be on the wall one of these days.
So it's just planning.
Oh, yeah.
I was just about to ask that which which fencer will go on the wall because that needs
to happen.
You know, it's I really, really want to do the red beanie bikini, my OG fencer.
And I feel like I've because that that will always be like my first fencer in the collection,
you know, like my my first but actually not not even the first fencer, but that part
of me, my first NFT overall.
That funny enough, that was the that was the very first NFT I had ever purchased.
I spent a lot of December of twenty twenty two doing a little bit of research.
You know, I there was a huge narrative spun around NFTs like, oh, you know, they're
they're so bad.
You spend your money on that.
So stupid.
And well, frankly, I'm thinking those same things, even though I'm this far in, no, I'm
totally kidding.
I I really was sold on the fanging and and, you know, not only the image that that that
was not only the thought that was put into the image rather, not not the image overall,
but more honestly, like the thought that you guys had put into the project, it really
resonated with me.
Specifically, in our conversation with David Horvath, you know, talking about like
evergreen ubiquity and how, like, you know, you have to speak to the audience primarily.
And I think that was that was I didn't really know it at the time, but that was
that in motion.
You know, that was that was that sort of thought process there.
And I love it.
I will always love the artwork and I will always love the derivatives that have been
spun from it, you know, in the forms of artwork from people in the community, in the
pixel fanksters, you know, shout out to Hans, shout out to Team Naked.
And yeah, man.
And that really it really started me off on this this journey.
I've since bought into more collections.
I've since gotten a bit more involved, you know, in the community, if you could call
what I'm doing here and involved.
That's it. That's a joke for you.
But but no, yeah, I really feel is all that to say that that that OG fankster that I will
I will probably forever hold, you know, like that that'll always be mine.
I feel like it deserves a space in the real world because one day I would like to have
like a wall of just art that I love and I would love for people to be like, what is
that that thing with the eye patch over there and then the mustache in a bikini.
And that'll be a pretty funny story.
But but yeah.
That's that sounds great.
We have to take care of that.
Yeah, 100 percent.
That fankster needs to go on that.
Oh, shit. Oh, man.
Yeah, that definitely is something that that I'm going to have to look into pretty
soon, because every time I want to look up at this collection, I would want to see
that, you know. And yeah, that's all that to say.
And I thank you so much, Junji, for for pinning at the top the first ever fang
gang pixel fankster ordinal on the Bitcoin blockchain.
Shout out to Carbon Cell.
Carbon Cell is a huge collector of of pixel fankers, if I'm not mistaken.
I've seen several purchases and several posts on the on the timeline.
And you got got to love got to love the collectors of pieces like this and people
that are doing things that stand out so much for the community.
And, yeah, I mean, I would love to hear from both you guys about how it felt.
Did you guys know that that was happening or?
I think you mentioned it before.
I think yesterday or something.
Yeah, it's exciting.
I wish I knew more about inscribing
like like on Bitcoin.
I did do the Bitcoin punks.
I inscribed those when they were just launching, I think.
I pocketed it as well.
But that was quite like quite the process.
Like it was super baby steps and super hard to do it.
I don't know if it's changed since then, but I would love to hear more from Carbon
Cell. Yeah.
From from what I've seen, it's way easier now, but I haven't researched either.
So that would be great to learn about because we talked about inscribing stuff
back then, and that's something that we never ended up doing.
But who knows? Maybe in the future, it's never too late.
The numbers are already massive.
I think we're over six million now.
I guess I checked it earlier this week, if I'm not mistaken.
But yeah, it's never too late.
It's hard. It's a different way to get things on the blockchain.
So who knows? Maybe we do something for it.
So yeah, definitely would love to learn more about it if there's someone in the
audience that has experience. I know Carbon Cell does.
So if you want to come up here,
that would be great. If not, we can just chat.
I'm also going to use this as a as an opportunity to remind every I mean, of
course, if you're a regular, you already know that you're more than welcome to
hop up onto the stage. And even if it's just a community episode,
even if we do have scheduled guests and quote unquote like interview style
spaces, that's definitely not the case, guys.
You know, we we wanted many people to
hop up on here and feel as though you have you have you have a platform
that you can come up onto and talk, even if it's just even if it's if it has
nothing to do with the topic at hand, you know, we still would love to hear
from everybody that we see regularly in the timeline.
And all that to say that Busy's hopping up on here.
What's going on, Busy? How you doing, man?
Yo, what's good, homies?
Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, man, Bang City, dude.
It's been a minute since you've been on stage.
Busy, where you been, man? You've been busy.
Yeah, it's in my name, right?
No, no, for real, I've been busy.
It's it's been an IRL, been a.
Yeah, it's been heavy, but I'm good.
I'm good. Working hard, as always.
Absolutely. The man with two phones, right?
Oh, man, don't even.
Yeah, what happened?
Man, I woke up, my phone wouldn't start, you know,
I tried resetting, tried hard resetting, tried everything.
So I was done with it.
I ordered a freaking new phone.
I come to my work the next day and the phone starts up again.
It's so far.
You didn't even put in their eyes or something.
There was no water involved.
Now, it was literally I woke up late because,
you know, like my alarm is set on my phone and stuff like that.
and, you know, I work at a school and it's exam period at school.
So I was kind of necessary, but I wasn't there.
So it was kind of fucked up.
And they couldn't call me because my phone wasn't working.
So what are you going to do with your old phone or your new new one?
Are you going to return it or?
No, I'm just going to pass it down to a colleague.
Well, my oldest.
And did you buy a Salina phone?
I've seen people complaining about those this week.
I'm curious to check them, but then it's been rough for them.
But why would you want it for you?
If I mean, if it's if the network is as good as the Solana.
Yeah, I don't know about that, man.
No, I don't know if it's the Solana phone, but but like having the ability
to do whatever crypto stuff you want to do on your phone.
I think it's about time for that.
I've noticed I read something today
about Axie Infinity being unlocked on the App Store.
I don't know if anyone knows more about it, but it's exciting, right?
Because Apple has been blocking stuff for quite a while and we need that to happen.
Like the moment we have like a native wallet on an iPhone or on a good Android
phone, I think things will change somehow when it comes to adoption.
Yes, it's actually a huge win.
I played Axie a little bit before and I
didn't know they've been trying to get it on the App Store for a long time now.
But Apple is just being Apple, you know.
I remember they also removed the
was it again, the Yuda game when they released it on App Store for a while as
well, but they had like instantly removed it.
But yeah, it will be interesting to see
if it's more becoming more accessible to just deploy your blockchain related apps
on the App Store, hopefully.
But the real question is, are Apple phones
that good because they don't release everything?
Yeah, I don't know, man.
It's been a while since I had an Android,
but I assume there's like a lot of garbage on there.
You're right.
Well, that's the fact.
In fact, I'm not hating on any phones or something.
Dude, you can't cap like that.
I hear the pen scribbling right now.
The Solana phone, Android district.
I already know it's coming out.
He's just he's just being coy right now, guys.
But you know what the thing is?
If you buy one thing, Apple, you kind of buy everything, Apple, because it works
together, you know, you're trapped in their ecosystem garden.
Yeah, I've been sucked into that a few years ago.
And then, yeah, so far they've kept me around.
But I couldn't care less about phones, to be honest, as long as they work
and do their like basic features.
But yeah, it's easier to do things.
Well, I can I can really vouch for the fact that
phones have to do more than just work, because I was on an iPhone 5 this week
for a day. And believe me, it's a hell.
Work properly.
There you go. Yeah, it needs to work when you need it.
iPhone 5, geez.
You still have an antenna?
Yeah, I had to pull it out.
That is crazy. Oh, man.
Well, I mean, yeah, that's that's the thing.
As long as you have something to do with the phone that you got, like,
you're going to pass it on to your colleague so that that's cool.
But God damn, I want to know what happened.
Like what what it just stopped working on you.
That's I would like to know that as well,
because then I can make sure it doesn't happen again.
But I have no idea, man.
I just woke up and the phone was that
I went to sleep and it was working perfectly.
It sounds like it just took a little nap then.
It sounds like it was it was just following your lead, taking a little nap.
Yeah, but but the nap was a little bit too long for me to survive.
Big shout out to Busy, though.
That's that was really I in the a few
times that I did check the other reply guy syndicate, I did see that pop up.
And I I wanted to drop in on that.
But thank you so much for coming up here, Busy.
And then and blessing us with a little bit of the explanation.
You know, we you know, we got worried when when we didn't see you on the timeline.
Yeah. And I can really say being
a reply guy from a laptop isn't it it isn't it.
Oh, but at least you have those reply guy like Chrome extensions on the laptop.
I assume you heard of this.
No, please tell me those are real.
Tell me more, dude.
Well, it's a little thing called the GM machine.
It's it's like, you know, being a reply guy is
literally the hardest job in the world.
Everyone knows that that's to make it a bit easier.
Someone made a GM machine.
You just press a button and it generates a GM reply for you.
That's it.
It's super silly.
But I mean, it's already if if if it was on gaming, it will be called cheating.
Yeah, exactly.
And you can even like pre-write your own.
It's like a name box or something like that.
Dude, I mean, I'm not going to write 300 GMs per day myself.
I'm going to let it do it like a machine for me.
Yeah, guys, that's that's why AI was invented.
Yeah, I was just about to say that.
That's why we use chat GMT.
So so we get an AI to just be for us.
Yeah, dude.
All right.
Speaking speaking of AI, have you seen well, coming back to phones and Apple,
this is turning out to be a weird conversation.
They're releasing or they have on beta version right now.
They're like doing a voice AI of yourself.
So basically you record a few sentences,
like 15 minutes or so if you speaking, and then your damn freaking phone can
clone your voice for basically everything.
So it's kind of I mean, it's interesting, but kind of scary, right?
Dude, I don't even have to answer the phone anymore.
Yeah, sounds like it.
Apple endorsed the soundboard.
Come on now.
It's you already know those influences be making a model of their voice and just
using jet GPT to create content right now.
Imagine spaces, spaces run by AI.
It's what's going to happen, right?
We like it's going to you won't even know who's really here and who's not.
It's kind of hosted by AI.
Come on, guys. That's crazy.
I love that.
I know Johnny Johnny did a space.
I think two months ago where he already made a model of his own voice through AI
and he was using that in the space.
And I'm talking about two months ago, and it was crazy.
Dude, yeah, Johnny is the AI legend.
I think he's a guy keeping up with it.
I haven't seen him around in a while.
Maybe my timeline is fucked up again, as always.
I think he does a space on every Tuesday about AI, and it's a really good space.
Yeah, I got to catch up on AI because I'm so far behind.
There's so much stuff coming out every day, and I like it, but we just don't
have time to explore every damn thing that comes out, right?
I don't think I can totally understand that.
But I think we are in a phase now.
Either you catch up or you get left behind, you know?
I don't think it's worth it to try every new thing out.
In the end, like a couple of them will
win the race and that's what will be the ones that stick around.
Like I can imagine
Google Bard become super big.
Chet GPT will always remain big, I think.
So like getting used to using those will be most beneficial, I think.
Yeah, but definitely like what Parker said with the modeling of the voices,
there are some mix and mastering AI surfaces at the moment that are getting
really good for music producers.
So, yeah, there's a lot going on.
And, yeah, we got to keep up in some kind of way.
True. Actually, speaking about that, you mentioned like content creators
doing everything with AI, I even saw an AI for like Premiere Pro,
like editing videos with AI, it just cuts the interesting angles
from a camera and puts it together and exports it for you.
Yeah, and today I was checking, I can't remember the name,
but I was checking something that basically you can grab a video
cut and you can import a character to it and it reeks you the character automatically.
So there's really good stuff.
I can't remember the name, but I will tomorrow.
But there's really good stuff happening.
And it's becoming more and more clean because it used to be a mess, right?
You created something with AI and you instantly would recognize that that was AI.
But it's getting better and better.
And I've seen really good stuff today.
I was playing with that.
I was actually with a colleague of mine playing with that.
And he was doing like really cool stuff.
The only downside is that it took like an hour to render something.
So you need to be, well, pretty comfortable with what you had already
before hitting the render, but that's what happens with 3D
and everything you render on video.
So I don't think it's going to be a problem.
It's evolving too fast.
And speaking of BZ, we're talking about music production.
Is there a fucking AI out there that can get me a metal singer?
Because I've been looking for a while.
I have them records finished for about a year now.
And I can do anything with it because I'm an awful singer.
But I need one because otherwise it's going to sound dull.
So where's the AI?
Haven't you seen all the videos with famous rappers and stuff like that?
Yeah, I've seen those. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
AI engineered and it's getting better every week, man.
And I definitely think there are some metal singers available.
You can get AI Drake in your album.
I'm about to say, dude, you'll get that Drake feature on your song.
Come on. Heavy Drake.
Yeah, I know it sounds like David Guetta did that song with Eminem AI in the drop.
Yeah, I've seen that one. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's getting crazy, but yeah, I like it.
I want to try it.
I mean, if I may, I think it's something
it's something that needs to be noted within the context of this conversation.
Because right now, like all of us at our disposal,
we have these these tools that we can use to like either venture off into music
production or even like something as as as expensive as a concept,
as expensive of a concept as AI that like we all have the ability to use these
things, however, like given how fast this escape moves,
I think it's it's really noteworthy that like we kind of remember that like in
these next 10, like even within the next decade,
the things that we'll be able to do are beyond like comprehension,
like that, like beyond what we're able to do right now.
I mean, it sounds so simple when I say it out loud.
But I think the like considering where 3D animation is right now,
like, you know, anybody can pick a blender and become the next like 3D modeler.
But I feel like 20 years ago, that was not the case.
Like you needed to be within the walls of,
you know, like these these 3D studios that have already been established and already
been in the know and, you know, not everybody has that privilege.
And I feel like with just something as simple as Twitter spaces,
you know, we're all able to just keep each other in the loop.
And even if it's like if it doesn't pertain to your interest,
even if it's just something that is like relevant to the topic.
And I mean, you know, we're talking about AI right now.
And we were just talking about cell phones not even 10 minutes ago.
But I think it's huge.
I think it's huge that like the advancements and where we are now are like
like miles and miles ahead of where we were just 20 years ago.
And to think about where we will be in the future, you know, it says something,
you know, considering that we're all like that we're all in the in the presence
of builders right now, you know, like whether they be musicians or artists or
coders, it's cool.
We might be we might be getting closer to a WALL-E future, though.
That that's scary part.
Absolutely.
I mean, I don't know, dude, hover chairs sound pretty cool.
Maybe not the morbidly obese part.
Maybe not the physique. Yeah.
Oh, man, I don't know.
There were some people walking around in WALL-E.
Don't forget. Don't don't forget.
That wouldn't be no.
I get the switch installed and that's when I'll finally be able to play the new
Zelda, finally get the time now I'll have I'll have all my my chat
GPT plugins outputting Twitter spaces in real time.
And I can just be sitting there listening and monitoring everyone, just dropping
emojis. But no, man, that's it's scary.
It is a definite scary future, but I'm glad that we're here trying to grapple
with it together and, you know, being in the presence of musicians and for those
who are in the in the space right now that don't know Busy, that aren't regulars,
Busy is one of not only one of our graphic artists in the community,
but also like one of our musicians in the in the fangan community.
And I think it's super cool.
The outsider tape just dropped.
Didn't it, Busy?
Yeah, it dropped two weeks ago, I think.
And it's and if I'm not mistaken, it's it's still minting.
And that's that's you know, we had the we had the outsider collective
on on one of the thing outs.
And if you guys want to go back, check out the recording of that.
Super one of one of my one of my most favorite spaces because it really
embodies the the spirit of the community that that fangang is kind of cultivated
and that I've been privy to for the couple of months now that that I've been
in the scene, God damn, it's been five months since I've started collecting
these these crazy little creatures.
But, you know, it's pretty fun.
It's it's pretty fun, all things considered.
Because like, you know, I'm here talking with musicians and artists.
It's really cool. It's really rewarding.
Yeah, definitely a shout out to the homie
where my partner in crime in the in the in the crowd.
And the hundreds from now and the mixtape is fire, by the way, I'm very happy.
I'm into it.
And if you're here in the spaces, check out the pin tweet
because it's super, super good.
Yeah, thanks, homie.
It was it was a big thing for me, to be honest.
Like I said in that tweet, it was like seven years since I released
the song and this mixtape is kind of my comeback to music, man,
because I'm like literally building up my home studio again.
So, yeah, the world is that is awesome to hear more of your music, man.
And for from work as well.
Absolutely.
Yeah, and I spoiled it a little bit.
But work and me, we are working on on something new together.
Let's go.
That's the out.
That's all for right here.
Oh, yeah.
Hey, who wants to do some housekeeping?
Oh, yeah.
You know what? I got it.
I got it.
I it's mainly because I'm missing already a ton right now.
You already know what go what's going on, guys, if you're a regular here.
But if you're new here at the three thirty mark, our po apps that we drop every
week for the thing out spaces go live and that's what's happening right now.
I will go ahead and continue on with the housekeeping and I will drop the secret
phrase for the POAP this week.
You have about 15 minutes to mint it after it's there already already already.
All right, awesome.
Yeah, minutes to mint it.
And if anything goes wrong, just DM the main fanging account.
We have about six codes to give out if all thing if all else fails.
But if not, get ready to deal with the POAP puzzle if you're a collector.
And thank you guys so much for thinking you guys so much for for popping out and
always showing us your support, it means a ton.
And I can't think you guys enough.
Shout out to K so one of our one of our avid POAP collectors you already know.
But again, yeah, that's that's the housekeeping for me, guys.
I didn't mean to put us in a stint in the conversation, but but yeah.
And it's a it's a community trait week, so.
It's it's been fun to do those on request.
It was actually pretty fast this time.
It was when when did you post it to and she yesterday, right?
Yesterday evening.
Yeah, so.
I really don't go I go I want to say, yeah, I don't want to say I forgot about
or something, but yeah, I kind of forgot to post the day earlier.
But we had some cool suggestions from the community space before that we didn't do.
I think we picked like a two or three from those and then five from the new ones.
I think that turned out great as well.
Yeah, tell that to my blanket and beans combination.
Weirdest combination ever, but the beans, the beans.
Pack is over here eating beans.
Always bear market vibes.
I'm not going to lie, guys, every every time you guys drop the the traits,
they're always a surprise and it just it just goes to show like the amount of effort
that you guys put in for the for the space is it's not just about showing up,
but it's about all the work that you guys put in.
And it really feels like I just show up because like you and Jun Chi,
you guys develop the actual traits and you guys pump them out.
And Artie's over here dealing with the POAP.
You know, we always talk about how much of a headache that is.
And I wouldn't be surprised if this week he was just like, you know what?
You know what? Fuck it.
I'm just not going to go.
All right. I'm so sorry, guys.
Yeah, no, I'm so sorry, guys.
I will not impersonate anybody else.
And I'm a little upset that that's recorded because he's going to come
and he's going to he's going to see you need to sound a bit more British.
You got to say make an oi, oi.
Sorry, Artie. Jesus.
Yeah, sorry, Artie, more than anything.
That's probably. Oh, man. Yeah.
But no, yeah, thank you guys so much for all the work that you put in.
It really makes just hopping up on here and talking to all of our guests
or in this case, just talking to the community super easy.
And I got to say, it's really fun to always do these.
It's a nice sense of stability.
But, yeah, if if anything else and again,
if all else goes, guys, I think we have about 10 to 11 more minutes
on the POAP window.
And if you guys if something goes wrong,
as always, don't hesitate to DM, you can DM either me or the main fanging account
and we'll get you squared away.
So don't worry about it.
But, yeah, that's that's all the housekeeping for me, guys.
And in terms of that, yeah, I think we were in the conversation prior,
we were talking about the outsider collective drop,
the outsider to tape and busy and busy work.
Shout out to work.
You know, we would love to hear from work as well.
You know, it's it's it's it's an open platform and more than anything.
You know, we'd love to hear from the community during the community episode.
But but, yeah, guys.
Dizzy, I think you should you should look
a flight to Lisbon to perform in our event in June.
Hell, yeah. Just say, oh, yeah.
Just say.
Just getting it out there.
He's not so it's six or seven, right?
Seven and eight, the party will be eight.
All right. All right.
I'm going to check what I can do.
Sorry, I got excited, guys.
I got excited. I'm sorry.
What are these sounds?
I got excited. I'm sorry.
He was going to go.
Yeah, June is going to be exciting.
Yeah, we already.
Yeah, we haven't shared anything yet, but
we managed to get a super cool space for our for our meetup pop up shop.
So it's going to be we're super excited.
I was just there last week checking what we're going to do
and being brainstorming with Junji and Artie.
And it's going to be fun.
It's going to be really it's it's different from what we have so far.
So we'll be sharing stuff ASAP, right?
Yeah, absolutely.
I really can't wait.
Junji, do you ever hear anybody talk about eat Amsterdam?
Eat Amsterdam, dude.
I have to tell you now here in Lisbon, I saw a guy with a tote bag from eat Amsterdam.
I think it was last Saturday.
So that was kind of weird.
Like what I haven't heard of it on Twitter, but I
look like I was having a drink and looked at my left side and there was a
guy with with that tote.
It was weird.
So if you guys haven't heard of it.
Yeah, it was actually heard of it because like I live in Amsterdam, but
I mean, nobody's talking about that shit.
So it it's got to be like hell or something.
Has to be emptier than NFT London last year.
Did it happen already this year or it's still going to happen?
I think it's still going to happen.
So that was probably from last year.
I don't know. Maybe one of the guys hosting it.
There's like there's a ton of conferences that I saw.
There is like one right before the NFC one we're going to
right in Lisbon as well.
And then also, I think this month as well in Lisbon.
But like this month is a bigger one, I think.
Yeah, I know there's one happening right
after or right before NFC.
I've seen that one for quite a while.
I can't remember the name.
And then there's one happening
in the in the South in Algarve over here.
And I think like the first board, a party will happen over there.
But it's a community thing, I guess.
I'm not sure I haven't searched about it yet.
But yeah, Portugal is booming when it comes to crypto, even though we're
going through this rough bear market period.
There's still stuff happening like every week.
So it's a nice place to be, to
to connect with people and to check what's happening, even if it's not much.
OK, you're going to laugh now,
but it ends them as literally this weekend.
How much are the tickets?
Because usually they're outrageous.
Probably.
I haven't heard any project talk about it or what.
A bit of Dutch defense.
You got right now.
255 Jesus.
OK, I've seen worse, but that's that's not great.
Jesus, I mean, you can you can slap some stickers at the door.
Yeah, I might go near it.
I mean, everyone is really in a small place.
It's in the back of the swagger.
Do you know that one?
Yeah, I've worked there for a few times.
It's nuts.
It's really close nearby the station, right?
Yeah, it is nice.
Well, I might give it a visit.
I don't know.
I have to see what I'm up to this weekend.
This is the alpha.
I mean, does it count as touching grass?
Maybe I can bring my switch.
The switch is portable.
There you go.
So also, I just really quick question and probably you guys might make fun of me
because I'm the new one here and I just shared Artie's tweet from from last year
on about his his Lisbon poster.
But you guys did you guys also speak at Lisbon last year?
Or is that like the is that the difference this year?
Not that that one the posters we did was during Web Summit.
I think there was a lot of conference tech conferences happening here.
So we did like some ambush marketing.
Well, let's not call it marketing, but we did like
I don't know, should we call it an ARG?
Maybe something close to it and people could find posters.
Just take a picture and they got air dropped a piece that we did back then.
But no, we didn't speak last year.
This is our first time speaking at NFC.
That's huge.
And I'm trying to think about like all the possibilities of a fangang ARG now
because I haven't really talked about it much on Twitter, but like I love ARG
and like puzzles like real world puzzles like that.
And it's so cool that you guys did a little something like that,
especially in the form of airdrops because it's it's a little bit of effort.
But again, it goes a super long way, you know, because it rewards people
for putting in that effort.
And you know what was fun about it?
There was a bunch of people that claimed the airdrop that
didn't even know about fangsters.
They scanned the QR and then learned about what was happening
and shared the picture on Twitter.
So it was a nice way to at least let more people know about fangang.
And some of the posters are still around Lisbon.
I just walked by one of those the other day.
So it's been six or seven months now and some of them still stand.
So it's nice.
It's nice to walk around and see your work on the streets.
Dude, Lisbon is going to be covered in fangang stickers when I get there.
I'm bringing like my whole tote bag full of stickers.
You got to give me some good spots, like good.
Yeah, I got to tell you the stickers don't last as much because that's
whenever I go outside, I slap some stickers and like a week or two after they're gone.
So but it is what it is.
At least some at least the guy that removed them, seen them, right?
Didn't you also stick one on like the door of like a little bar or something?
Like a year ago.
Yeah, but I guess I was probably drunk because I took a picture of it
and I didn't even know the sticker was there.
I only noticed after.
You sent it to me and I was like, hey, what's it fangster doing there?
Yeah, because I think I took a picture of someone wearing a board, a booty or
something like that. I don't even remember to be honest.
And then I zoomed on that image.
Oh, you did, right?
And there was a fangster there.
So it's kind of crazy. Weird stuff happens in Lisbon.
I don't know, man.
For all you know, people could have seen the fangang sticker.
We're like, oh, man, I want that.
And then taking it for themselves because I know for a fact if I saw that
in the street, I would be like, damn, I know someone put that up there
for marketing, but I kind of need that for my skate deck or something
like that. The desire is too big, I would say.
You know, at some point I stopped slapping them and just left them
on tables for people to pick them up.
I did that a few times already.
So it's nice.
People take them home or put them in the trash, whatever.
But at least I'm doing my part.
Oh, man, that just makes me want to go sticker bomb a bunch of fangster
like silhouettes now because, you know, it's again, it's you see it
and it either resonates with you.
It's like, oh, man, that's cool.
Like I like that.
I like that little guy or it's like, oh, all right.
That's just that's just some cartoon.
Like I think I've definitely heard that prior.
Like I've showing my family like, oh, you know, these are my my digital
collectibles, I've shown them fangsters prior and they're like, oh,
like I think I've seen that cartoon of that before.
And it's like, no, not yet you haven't.
But I mean, yeah, there you go.
And you just just share the stickers.
Yeah, those are mine.
Oh, man, the hollow.
Oh, that's so I got the hall.
You know what?
Instead of like slapping it everywhere, you could also like like maybe
give me some or something to meet up and give me all the stickers
and worry about it.
Lizzie, I hear the keyboard clacking for those Lisbon tickets now.
Now that you said that you and she.
Yeah, I probably need to order some more.
I like the hall is a lot.
It turned out great.
And they're they're big to like ten centimeters or so.
Oh, man, like just again, like it's it's it's so it's so striking.
Just like the art style and just like, you know, the the ability
for the different traits to just like come together.
I think it's it's super cool.
And I think there's a definite there's a definite want for them.
And I'm not trying to push because, you know, I'm definitely one of those people.
And and, you know, if you're not going to put them up on the walls, like Busy said,
you could just slide them my way.
But but, yeah, I think that that one for them is definitely there.
And the balls in your court, like.
I got to share something because I'm super proud of this one.
I think I've shared this one on Twitter before, but check the replies.
Let me see if I can pin it to the top.
No, I can't.
It's actually a thanks that my nephew
drew a while back and I printed some stickers of it just to give him
and to get him excited because he's a super good like he's talented.
He's just a kid, but and he's super shy.
He never likes to share his work with anyone.
But I think these are really, really good.
I love this.
So so, yeah, I had to share them and made some stickers out of it.
Dude, I want one like I, I'm not even trying.
I'm not even trying to be like, quote unquote, nice.
Like I want one like this.
That's awesome.
You know, they're so cool.
Let them know they're awesome.
Yeah, the tag is such a nice touch as well.
I love that. Well, that was the answer.
That's not that's not to help people about that compliment to you.
Not to your nephew.
Oh, man, no, yeah, huge props to your nephew, man, because it's just like it.
Like I said, at the beginning of the space, like you guys have put forth
like an image that resonates with people and it also stands on its own as a
derivative, I mean, busy, busy artwork is of a fangster, you know,
and and I think like just the fact that like you see that the fact that I see
that on the timeline, you know, it's it's I recognize like, oh, that's that's busy,
of course, but in the same in the same thought, I'm also like that's his artwork.
Like he's using his artwork to stand out through his Internet identity,
you know, and I can't imagine busy with any other with any other profile picture
that isn't something that has to do with his artwork.
You know, it's it's really cool.
And I think that, like, even even the fact
that your nephew is putting forward some some effort like that,
I think it really shows that, like, you know, there's a lot that can be done
with this IP and it's all super exciting, guys.
Like, I love that you did that back.
It's super cool.
Yeah, and I guess I don't need to say that his room is full of thanksters by now.
He's sounding cooler every minute, dude,
because like that's what I aspire to to live my life like like I think there's
everywhere in the room, but yeah, that's super cool.
And it's it's it's it's really heartwarming to see that that like that's
in the sticker pool.
The thing is, if you get those kids
into fangang right now, you're settled for like years.
You've got to start them early, right?
I mean, hell, if they learn to build in the if they learn to build in the bear,
then, you know.
God, I mean, I will say, yeah, there's going to be some of those in Lisbon too.
So just saying both your flights, both your flights, both your flights,
both your flights.
To get stickers.
Cheap stickers, right?
Yeah, invalid, what's going on, man?
Hey, hey, I it looks like I'm catching the tail end.
I just wanted to come up because those stickers.
They look so badass, Paco.
Oh, my God, dude.
Yeah, man, what am I going to do with this kid is going to steal the thunder, right?
Sorry, guys, I was just taking these replies.
Oh, go ahead. Go ahead. My bad.
No, I was I was just about to say that
I'm I'm trying to this.
This is not specifically about him,
but I'm trying to get him to draw more and more and get more confident about what he's
doing, because I think that's super important when you start trying something
new and when you decide to draw or write music or,
I don't know, write anything else or do something that's creative and that's not
super factual, you know, because there's a lot of subjectivity when it comes to
creativity. Right.
And I guess people need to learn
from from from early days that it's fine to try stuff and to not be comfortable
with the first thing you draw, but keep on pushing it.
So that's that's what I'm trying to do,
because a lot of talented people give up along the way.
And I mean, I before Fangang, I haven't been drawing like on a daily basis
for for quite a while. I spent months without drawing.
And I think it's important to encourage kids to keep on doing what they like,
regardless if they get noticed, if they get followers.
So, so, yeah, it's a bit of a rant, but I think it's super important if kids
around you like to draw, like to do something that's creative and exciting for
them. I think we're responsible to to keep them excited about it.
Oh, yeah, that's definitely facts.
That's definitely facts.
I do that with my son all the time because he started drawing like
I think two years ago, like little sketches and scribbles and stuff like that.
And like he developed himself really much.
And yeah, I'm super proud this year he got accepted to the 2D and 3D game
character design school.
So that's awesome.
So you definitely have to push them a little, but not too much.
Yeah, I agree.
And with AI and everything happening right now,
I've been following you on a lot and he just did an interview and he was talking
about like the I roughly I think the question was
what are you going to tell your kids, Elon?
Like, what do you tell the future generation to do?
And he said, even with the invention of AI and maybe some dark stuff around it,
he was like, tell them to pursue something that they are passionate about
and they like to do and maybe whatever they like to do,
maybe it contributes to humanity a little bit.
And I think I think Paca and Busy,
you guys are on the right track.
It's like, yeah, like get them whatever you see that they're passionate about.
Foster it.
Yeah, because
I think I think in the next few decades, humans are going to have a lot of time
to learn their hands, right?
So they better they better do something that they they're passionate about
with their time. So I really like this sticker Paca.
We got to figure out a way to give me
the sticker ASAP because I have a space on my laptop where one of the stickers was bad
and I had to take it off and now it's blank and this this would fit perfect.
So we got to figure out some I want to I want to go lips then.
But I'm too far away in Southeast Asia right now.
So we got to figure out some way to like maybe maybe something to design
that credit or something. But I really, really like this.
We got to take care of that problem.
Having a space for a sticker is a big problem.
Yes, yes, yes.
And I'm you guys know me, I love sticker
bombing and I love sticker collages and stuff.
So this would fit perfect.
I already know where.
So I'll get you up with that later.
But, yeah, glad to see you guys are still doing the spaces as always.
How are you awake, by the way, isn't it super late over there?
Yeah, yes, it's like five a.m.
Because I'm awake because I had some alarms going off.
Some people are sending me stuff early in the morning.
It's good stuff. It's good stuff.
But, yeah, I'm glad I caught you guys.
This is good.
Glad to have you up here is always invalid.
And I had me worried there for a second when you said you had some alarms going
off and then you said some people send you like that.
You had me worried there.
But as always, glad to hear that you're up.
Glad to hear that you're Adam.
No sleep here, man.
No sleep as always.
GM, the GM is universal, right?
We're always awake somewhere.
So, yeah.
And that is that is truth.
That is factual right there.
My man invalid.
Thank you so much for hopping up on stage is always my guy.
And, yeah, dude, I and for those of you guys that don't know,
invalid is more familiar with invalid.
Sorry, more familiar with invalid.
Huge pixel thanks to a collector.
And honestly, one of the one of the people that come to mind when I think
of the new dynamic pixel thanks to traits, the add on traits that are coming up.
Don't forget that I'm not trying to prompt anybody for any alpha or anything.
I would just like to remind everybody
listening that that is forthcoming as always.
And it's super exciting, guys, super exciting.
I'm looking at the video right now.
Can't wait for what's coming up.
Busy. What's going on?
Yeah, like now, now you brought it up, right?
I didn't do it.
You did it like you.
You brought it up.
This is your fault.
I have some questions.
Is it going to be on chain or off chain?
All right.
OK, she's still keeping me interested.
Good question.
Got me on the hook, too.
It's out of our hands right now, as you can imagine, right?
It's being developed.
And I think it's going to be worth the wait.
Well, I'm sure it's going to be worth the wait.
Yeah, I was going to say it will be worth the wait.
It's it's a big yeah.
That's facts.
We already know it's going to be worth the wait.
It's just like
I'm dying with suspense right now, like
hurry up or something.
When when when when?
That's what I mean.
Those gifts are the when gifts.
You know, those are awesome, by the way.
I see people really engage with them.
Yeah, I got to check the statistics.
Like we had some huge numbers on our old gifts already.
And I imagine these will be used even more.
It's brand brand awareness, right?
This is how I feel about those those new graphics that I put around.
Right. They're very cool.
But if anyone's watched Attack on Titan or any modern hype anime,
it's kind of like I'm a big fan of the 2D art.
And then, you know, you got you got an animation like Attack on Titan
and they animate something like the colossal Titan like with 3D tech.
And then I'm just like, OK, yeah, that still looks pretty cool.
But it's like, man, give me some of that hand drawn stuff.
But then I see this, you know, I come to this place and then I see like Paco.
He's just like, yeah, look at this.
I'm just like, OK, all right. All right.
You guys got me back in again.
So I'm a fan of the 3D stuff, but I'm I'm a bigger fan of the 2D
kind of hand drawn line art and pixel art.
So, yeah, there's enough with this brand where it could just keep evolving
and keep changing and have something for everyone.
And that's why I love it.
So I'm excited for those new those new traits that are coming out.
It's like it's like that one berserk movie, right?
Where they treat the animated everything.
It's that too.
I was thinking the exact same thing.
Yeah, that attack on time, any modern cool anime kind of tries to take shortcuts.
Dragon Ball, right?
I mean, Dragon Ball Brawly is all hand drawn.
Oh, my God.
But like, we know they can't do that forever.
They can't do it forever.
So, yeah, yeah, like I think these these gifts like definitely
we wanted to go for the hand draw animation.
But like you said, it takes ages.
And this idea was kind of like on a whim.
And we were like, yeah, we need some new social media representation.
And it kind of worked out.
Yeah, there's enough for everyone.
Yeah, I love all the different styles of Fangang.
Speaking of which, you know, After Dark has been kind of dead
for a while, and I've been currently working on that on the side as well,
along with Team Naked.
And I we're going through a whole brand revamp right now.
I think you guys are going to like the new logo.
There's a lot of Fangang inspiration.
No, no, no.
Yeah, yeah, it is.
It is dope.
And I'm working with a few different artists for different aspects of the brand.
I'm not going to announce who the main artist is right now, but you guys love
him. And, yeah, there's some stuff that I like that's sprinkled into there.
And then obviously some Fangang inspiration.
So, yeah, I can't wait to show you guys later.
Hi, I love After Dark.
I'm spamming the win button right now.
And I hope you know that.
I'll show you later, Hack.
I've been very busy, but Hack, I'll DM you after this and we'll go from there.
Man, this is like this is our third community space, I believe.
But there's been way more alpha than any of these Fangouts.
But I mean, I mean, you know, I'm not complaining.
I'm definitely not complaining.
More than anything, though, the hour just kind of flew by, guys.
And I think that's why my my heart will always be with the community episodes,
because, you know, these are just laid back discussions.
But more than anything, you know, it shows that we're here and we're present
and we're building together, you know, whether it just be sharing ideas or
bouncing, bouncing things off of each other or just venting.
You know, I think it really proves the amount of strength that Twitter
spaces has that Twitter spaces have, but also at the same time that,
you know, community in general has.
And I'm really thankful that I can be
here, that I'm able to share this platform with everybody here and use
the platform that Fangang has given me, guys, more than anything.
I thank you, guys, Junshi and Packa directly.
And to everybody who decided to come up here and speak as well.
Busy and valid. I see you got your hand up busy.
What's going on, man?
Yeah, I just wanted to ask one thing.
I kind of miss my Instagram demotifational, like one-liners every day.
What happened to them?
I need them back in my life.
We got to take care of that.
We're slacking. Too much going on.
But we're going to pick that up soon.
You caught us slacking.
Well, involuntary slacking.
Let's call it that way.
I would hate to believe that you guys are doing it on purpose, slacking on purpose,
because I know that's not the case.
I think you guys are always put in that work.
But for those of you guys that don't
know what Busy is talking about, a big surprise for you is over on Instagram
at fangangnftz and as well, if you drop a follow on that, that's just for daily
content or supposed to be daily content.
Thanks for putting us on the spot like that, Busy.
But no, no, it's all jokes.
And as well, guys, if you're on Instagram,
don't forget to follow at WLDFNGZ, that's wild things.
That's just to keep up with all the going
ons that aren't necessarily related to fangang and to fangang NFTs.
But, yeah, guys, that's going to be the end of the Twitter space.
If anybody else doesn't have any final notes, Junchi, Packa, Busy and Valad,
you guys all good?
All good, then, I guess.
Good to go, Scott.
Yeah, thank you again for always holding these spaces.
I caught the tail end, but it made my morning because I did not want to get up
this morning. It's five a.m. where I'm at.
I really didn't want to get up.
I was like, oh, there's a space going on sweet.
OK, so I'm going to get some coffee now.
So thank you very much, Loonie.
And, Valad, thank you for showing up, dude.
If anything, it makes me super happy that we're able to start off your day
on a high note and as well, thank you guys to all of our regulars.
Thank you to our Poab collectors and guys, thank you so much for popping up,
coming through and letting out your woo.
We really appreciate it as always, guys.
And this is from Packa Junchi and as well as Artie, who couldn't join us today,
guys, but thank you guys so much for joining us.
Join us next Wednesday.
You guys know the vibes.
You already know what's going to happen.
Got a new guest next week and tune in next week to see who it's going to be.
But until then, guys, I've been Loonie.
Thank you so much for pulling through.
And let me hear you woo, guys.
Thank you, guys.
See you next week.
Thank you, guys. See you next week.
