So, thank you.
Well, I guess you meant Jared, right?
All right, Jared, do you want to quickly add on to it?
Yeah, I think pretty much the same thoughts as Brian.
I think there's only so much you can do over the computer screen,
but the way that I kind of approach it is, like,
if you have the foundations laid out when you, like, take off, I guess,
like having good docs, having good developer resources,
if people can self-service information about how to be successful
once they're interested in something
and pretty much go to, like, Docs.Polygon technology
or go to YouTube or go to wherever
and build something themselves based on the resources that you build,
the next step is pretty much just getting people to be interested in it
and getting them to kind of, like, stumble upon or discover it,
discover what you're actually building and what you're working on
and kind of get them to be, like, oh, I didn't know that existed.
And then when they go home, then, you know,
they go to your docs and be successful with the resources
that you've kind of created.
So the way that I kind of view it is it's like an extension, I guess,
of building helpful resources.
Like, the whole goal for me is to say, okay, well, this is, like, what we're building,
get people to find out about it.
And like Brian said, I think there's only certain discussions
that you can have over the phone or on Telegram.
The way that you get people's honest opinions, like, off the record, I guess,
is meeting them where they're at in person, you know, grabbing a drink with them
or whatever it might be to get people's true opinions.
And that's, like, where the real value is, like, come home and be like,
all right, this is what the community is actually thinking.
This is what this developer said.
This is, you know, what the general consensus is of what we're working on
and take that feedback home and iterate on the stuff that you're working on.
Yeah, thank you so much, Jared.
Apologies I meant to say, Jared, earlier.
Yeah, okay.
So I think we've heard from everyone here on the event side of things.
I do want to take a moment for anyone that's interested in coming to EdCon
or is going to EdCon and wants to learn more ways to get involved.
I'm going to pass it off to my colleague, Tina.
We have some resources to share.
We have the scholarships.
We have hacker houses people can get involved in.
And then we'll end off with the aggregation cave as well.
So I'll pass it off to Tina to go through everything.
Thanks, Rachel.
So thanks for everyone sharing, you know,
why in-real-life experiences are so important.
I wanted to share a bit more about EdCon,
which is happening in Tokyo this July 24th through the 30th.
And this event is actually completely free
to help onboard the next wave of Web3 users.
And some of the reasons that we picked Tokyo this year
is because Japan has been recently way more progressive
in their Web3 legislation.
And so this conference is meant to accelerate
the adoption of crypto in Japan.
And we actually have a month long of blockchain events
in Tokyo and Japan leading up to EdCon.
So EdCon this year, we're celebrating a lot of things,
one of which is the 10th year of Ethereum.
And this includes, of course, featuring Vitalik,
as well as Joe Lubin.
We also have a bunch of really cool powerhouses joining us,
like Keisuke Honda, RAC,
and other special performances from people like Triple S.
and the first in real life community activation for an ounce
will be taking place there as well.
So a few things that we have coming up deadline-wise,
we do have a travel scholarship available.
And this travel scholarship deadline is June 30th,
which is coming up in a couple days.
And Rachel, I'm sure, will put a link there.
I know Rachel mentioned she was hosting an Ethereum quorum,
which is effectively a small format model UN discussion
that we have.
I'm hosting Super Demo Day, which is our version of Pitch Day.
Those applications are more or less closed now,
but there's waitlists available
if you still wanted to apply on a website.
And the one other thing I wanted to mention
was our hacker houses.
So we have about four hacker houses.
One is focused on ZK technology.
One is focused on building autonomous schemes on chain.
The other is a creator hacker house
focused on building public goods.
And then we have one other hacker house
focused on developing public goods on base.
And so Rachel can't pin a link to our hacker houses.
But aside from that, Rachel,
let me know if I missed anything
that you wanted to cover for Edcom.
No, no, Tina, that was absolutely amazing.
All the links are pinned here.
So if you're interested in getting involved
in the hacker house, that was the first link I pinned.
The second one is for travel scholarships
brought to you by GCC and ETH Panda
and Real Math Network.
So those are all pinned.
If you need help getting to Edcom,
we're here to support you.
If you want to get involved with the hacker house,
we're also here to support you.
Just so you all know,
if you want to DM the Edcon account,
feel free to open,
feel free to DM.
The Edcon DMs are open
or you can email or ping me directly
at RachelRoseB.
My Twitter's up here as a speaker.
Yeah, and other than that,
I mean, we really have an OG lineup of speakers,
We have Brian here lined up to speak
at Ethereum Quorum.
So shout out to Brian.
Also a little alpha.
We do have Jordi speaking as well.
So really excited to hear
some more insights from Jordi.
And yeah, I guess with that,
let's kind of recap some.
Rachel, yeah, go ahead.
One more thing is,
I would love for you to just pin
a link to have people claim tickets
for Edcon.
Because again, like I mentioned,
due to generous sponsors,
like Polygon,
we were able to make the event
completely free for users to attend.
And so I think it's a really
like fantastic effort
in terms of making this
a really open, accessible event.
And we'd love for you to pin a link
for people to claim their tickets.
Absolutely.
So if you're on this space,
if you're even somewhat interested
in coming out to Edcon,
go ahead and claim your free ticket.
And yeah, if you need help traveling,
like you mentioned,
we got the travel scholarships.
If you're local,
if you're in Tokyo,
you definitely don't want
to miss this event.
Another thing we didn't mention too
is the venue, you guys.
This is going to be at a two-time
Olympic stadium in Shibuya.
Like the Olympics has been
held there two times.
You know, our other activations
are going to be
at the United Nations University,
which is the UN's academic arm in Tokyo.
So the venues are just insane, you guys.
And we have Vitalik coming to speak,
Ethereum Core researchers.
It's going to be a really OG lineup.
Yeah, and I do want to take a moment here
to just let everyone know
if you have any questions,
if you want to come up,
we're open for questions now.
And I do want to share a bit
about our after party.
We have Frankie up here
from the Nouns Cares team,
really, really active
in the Nouns community.
We also have some other Nouners
in the audience as well.
I'll pass it off to Frankie
to chat a bit about
our after party too.
Yeah, yeah.
We could talk about both activations.
We're doing a retail experience
based around minting
and redeeming physical products.
So a big focus there
is bringing in artists
that we've collaborated with,
partners that we've collaborated with,
brands ranging from,
this is a little bit of alpha.
We haven't really talked about this at all.
Brands like Michelin
talking to brands like Adobe.
Yeah, to kind of bridge this gap
in an interesting way.
Will and I were,
who's in the audience,
have been fortunate enough
to serve as some of these partners.
And the interest in the market right now
is really there,
especially from the Web2 perspective.
So on the Noun side
where we're working
with a lot of these brands,
helping them get on chain,
helping them kind of
understand the opportunities
and really just trying to bring them
in the most organic way.
I think, you know,
after the last cycle,
there's a real need
for the operational support
and the bridge,
the same way we saw
in streetwear
and high fashion.
Like worlds merging,
I think is unavoidable this cycle.
And I think there's a good opportunity
to get folks excited,
especially around EdCon.
So for us,
it's two-part education,
two-part, you know,
get to know us
and three-part
really kind of have a good time.
The after party,
I don't want to give too much away,
is going to be,
pretty much foundational
for the space
and how we plan to do things
and a standard
that we hope to set moving forward.
So I'll leave you with that.
you can check us out
at cares.tv.
We are basically moving
as an agency
prop support within Nouns,
create materials,
create branding,
really kind of give everybody
the best effort
to go out and to market.
And we're working with
pretty much everybody
within the Nouns community
trying to kind of help,
things along,
built along,
and, you know,
the best opportunity
for market adoption.
So I'm excited
to meet everybody IRL.
And if you have any questions,
please feel free to reach out.
Thanks so much, Frankie.
And I do want to go around
real quick.
If we have any closing thoughts,
calls to action,
or anything of that nature,
I do want to give a chance
for the Polygon team
to go first here.
We do have the Ag Cave happening.
And I am curious,
what attendees can expect
to see from this.
So Brian and Jared,
if you want to take a moment
and just share
what attendees can expect
and kind of, like,
resources,
calls to action,
anything like that,
I'll pass it off
to Brian first.
So Ag Cave,
it's sort of
a series of events
signature events
that we have been doing
across most of the major,
conferences out there.
And EdCon,
no-brainer,
we're definitely going to host one
over at EdCon as well
with, you know,
the best talents
who are joining
in the event.
And what you can expect
is basically,
it's a three-day
co-working space
that has fast Wi-Fi,
desk chairs,
power outlets,
all available for you.
Water, coffee, tea,
cold beverages
are all available.
We got a lot of snacks.
So you can just come here
and have fun.
And on top of that,
most importantly,
for those who want
to be nurse night,
you guys can show up
for daily hands-on demos,
which we're going
to have a ton of them.
We haven't,
shared a list of it yet,
but it's going to be
announced very,
very soon.
And of course,
whiteboard sessions
that you all love
and roundtable discussions,
tech chats
and deep dives
into deaf tools
and resources.
it's just going to be
a lot of sort of
like a developer ceremony
So developer focused
just a family,
So you guys can just
come there,
talk to us.
A lot of us
are going to be there.
I'm going to be there
personally.
we'd love to meet
and chat with everyone.
One thing I did want
to mention
is we do have
a official community
event calendar
calendar from Edcon
that people can apply
for and add
their events to.
So Rachel's going
to pin that tweet
for that form.
Yep, sorry to there.
So that people can't
submit their events
by, oh, perfect,
July 15th.
Yeah, thanks, Tina.
If anybody here
is interested,
this really is
an opportunity
for you to show up,
create your own event
and, you know,
actually get included
in our community calendar
if that's something
you're interested in.
Yeah, and I do also
want to hear from Jared
on if there's anything
you want to add there,
on what folks can expect
from Polygon
with the Ag Cave
and the overall presence
at Edcon 2024.
Yeah, I mean,
I can give you
my experience.
We did an Ag Cave
at ETH Denver
and it's pretty much
just a, like,
developer space
where you can chill out,
listen to some
gigabrains,
talk about ZK
or pretty much
anything in the ecosystem.
Like, you just
work on things
that you want,
jump in and out
and side events.
It's just like
a little home
for you to come back to
and be cozy,
listen to some talks
if you're interested
or just put your headphones
in and work.
it's a nice little
kind of a hiding place,
or just a place
to chill out
during the time
that you're there.
that actually reminds me,
I'm actually
going to be doing
the socials for EdCon
throughout the event
and doing some interviews
and chatting with people.
Jared and Brian
would love to talk
to you more at length.
We'll have a video crew there.
we have the opportunity
to do a more
in-depth interview.
Would love to hear
the Gigabrain information
and share that out
with our community more.
so thank you so much,
Jared and Brian.
Before I pass it off
to Dabble Club,
any calls to actions
you all want to share?
if you follow
our Luma page,
we're going to announce
the AdCave event
very, very soon.
So, you know,
feel free to sign up.
And of course,
I think it was Tina
who mentioned,
on the website,
you should be able
to find our events
listed there.
So, you know,
check it out.
And it's just,
it's no-brainer.
If you sign up,
it's free.
You can just sign up
and attend.
And it's super close
one of the official locations.
It's over at UNU
you were correct,
if you're just tired
from all of the events,
you just want to take a break,
you can also come by too.
just be aware of this
and we're there.
We're there for you.
come over and have fun.
we have Sky
on the Polygon account
with Lightning Hands
who already got
the Luma page posted.
It's pinned to this space.
definitely RSVP
register now on Luma
so you don't miss out
on that event.
anything else you want to add?
Any calls to actions
or closing thoughts?
not really.
I think that
that was pretty much it
from Brian as well.
I do want to give a chance
for the Dabble Club team
to chat a bit more.
Colin has been
absolutely on fire
in the Bay Area
here with hosting events.
I know Dabble Club
has a lot of things lined up.
I think there's some event
where you can actually win
the Apple Vision Pros.
There's other prizes.
I'll let Colin
go into the details there
and I'll pin that link as well.
Thanks for having me
on this call.
I think call to action
is come hang out with us.
Come talk to us.
We're online.
my Calium's
online 24-7
it feels like.
And when he's not,
somebody in our
Dubai office
is online.
I'm up every day
and I'm up
until 1 a.m.
come talk to us
Dabble.chat
or go to our website
Dabble.club
and you can click
on all of our events.
We're hosting events
30 cities.
I think we did
in the last
three months
and right now
we're planning
road to EdCon.
going to be
a big deal for us
but we're also
going to continue
even after EdCon
we're going to have
more meetups
throughout the
and Pacific Islands.
we're going to have
meetups all over
and all over
the world.
it doesn't matter
where you are
or whether you can
afford to travel
we'll come to you
and if you don't
have a Dabble.club
in your hometown
you can start one.
you're welcome
to ping me
on Twitter
or Telegram
I'm Polygon
on Telegram
Polygon with a C
in the front
or hit me up
on Twitter
and join our
Dabble.club chat
on Telegram
and we'll help you
start your own
what we want to do
is do what
EdCon is doing
but we want to do
it at a massive
scale in local
communities
so IRL events
are a big part
of what we do
but if you
if you know
if there's nothing
in your hometown
you don't want
to organize
you can just
come hang out
we're doing
our Dabble
so every day
Pacific Standard
we're hosting
helping people
get into Web3
so it's really
good for React
developers
so join our
giving away
an Apple Vision
that's the big
that's the big
coming to our
shared some
of the links
I repinned
Dabble.club
DabbleDevCamp
if you all
want to get
those are the
links to do
would love to
hear closing
thoughts from
Michaelian as
working with
the Polygon
Tokyo Mage
site event
there before
included on
somebody in
this audience
them sitting
the audience
small town
party here
in collaboration
DabbleClub
met somebody
that lived
a reminder
know a lot
get apprehensive
in real life
and getting
and seeing
and whatnot
encourage you
absolutely
and whoever
the audience
conversation
to request
Calliam I totally
agree with you
kind of like a couple
days before the
the global
Bitcoin pizza
Colin and I
and I started
helping to
organize the
event here in
just put on
such a good
really spin
really big
impressive
for including
letting us
