GMGM everyone. I hope everybody's doing really good on this Thursday. Waiting for my co-host to come up and speak but in the meantime, yeah this is your first time here. Welcome.
to see this space being as popular as it is right now. I'm really, really interested to see what type of conversation we can generate from this. How's it going, Donnie? Good, man. I'm glad that this isn't doing what the Twitter space I was on last night was
doing, which is I had to like quadruple, quintuple click to get muted and unmuted. I was having a lot of difficulty, but this seems smooth again. We're back. I'm still driving back from MFT NYC right now. I'll be back coming about an hour. Very excited about it. It was a great experience. It's going on with you.
Yeah, just a winding down my Easter weekend. I didn't go to NFT NYC. I went out to visit family. Her Easter and yeah, just a
just such down yesterday, but otherwise doing pretty good. I actually was on a Twitter space earlier today talking about DID and that was that one really well. I was very excited about the conversations we have there.
What were the general topics y'all were talking about me other than obviously DID where did uh where did the flow go? Um yeah so you know I gotta be honest I feel usually pretty bored with most uh DID
IED spaces because everybody really gets caught up on the ownership of our identity and ownership of our data. And you know, that's just like such low hanging fruit. It's really lazy. If that's really all we can talk about, there are so many
that comes from decentralized identity that it's not even funny. There's things we're not even talking about that could potentially be use cases for DID. I'm always on the lookout for real
good conversations on the topic and I got to say Ben Zinga and Sensible, they're on Twitter, they delivered, actually they interviewed me for a podcast like six months ago and the host has a he's got a lot of
energy and he usually can dig out some interesting conversations from that from the from the person people he's interviewing and I would say he did the same this time around and we were able to dive deeply into some interesting topics so I'm very excited about that
You said Ben Zinga, the same people who hosted the blockchain conference in New York City late last year, I was supposed to go to that and then I for some reason I couldn't do it, I forgot why. I'll go next year, that's good to hear and I'll follow them on Twitter if I'm not already. And I agree, everybody who's talking about DID that I bump into is talking about
talking about it within the context specifically of what web 3 means to them, which is decentralization and ownership. But you're right, it is kind of low hanging fruit, but when you zoom out to that 50,000 foot or like way high up in the sky perspective, you get maybe you can just start the conversation or ask the question, how would it change
daily life. And I think that that unlocks a lot of those other pieces that we were talking about, right? Yeah. Certainly. Like Logan Lee. Yeah. Gosh. The whole sign in with your with your identity kind of thing. I think it's another interesting topic.
a lot of what we can touch on here, obviously, but I do want to, as usual, have fun with the conversation a bit to kick it off so that we can find, hopefully organically, some interesting topics that we can dive into. Again, for anybody just popping in here for the first time,
Welcome. This is our weekly talk space where we usually just like ramble at the very beginning on stuff that's happening in the wet three ecosystem, but also things that we're doing that we're finding interesting. I would say
Donnie and Polaris, do a really good job at exploring new things happening in the Web 3 space, bringing it to the table here, and then diving a little bit more deeply and intentionally through thoughtful discussion. So Polaris,
GMGM Family what has happened to our space is 600 people tuning in
Oh my god. What's happened? Does anyone know? I mean, we know like we changed like our media in terms of where we was advertising.
Alright, okay. Someone must have triggered the keyword "air drop" and we got a lot of people interested. I am by no means advocating or saying "air drops" here as a way to
anyone, that's not at all I do think that I'm aware of but as you know there's there's was a bit there's been a revitalized energy around some of the projects being incubated at anthology maybe that's it I don't know I'm speculating now myself to be honest
