Oh there's music on Twitter spaces now
Really? Didn't know that.
Okay, it's not working anymore. That's sad. There was music. Okay. Let's have Catalyst. Thank you for joining. We will give it some time. We have for some folks to trickle in.
How's your day going Carlos? I'll be hot here so I have 21 degrees enjoying the weather. Good stuff. What's happening on your end?
Um, things are good. It's like, I don't know. I need to do the conversion. Probably like five or six degrees here, but that's like warm. So I'm.
I'm excited about that. I'm going to go on a walk later. It's, it's, yeah, it's weird because like this is the coldest time of the year here, right? And I think two days ago was like,
20 degrees or so and the lowest I've seen it's like 18 so everyone was like crazy going just panicking like it's freaking cold and but it feels cold and it didn't win you right so I'm not sure
that's funny. Yeah, no, I mean, I feel like it's all like relative, right? Like if you're used to one thing, then it's going to be worse for the other. But hold on, I'm just
tweeting. Tap in. What's up, Nathan? Great. Nice. What's good?
- Oh, it's good, it's good. - All right.
Yes, come to stage to join the conversation.
I just wanted to say hi. What's up? How are you? Been pretty good. Yeah.
good stuff, good stuff. We'll give it to O5, let some folks trickle in. The way this is going to run for the people who are here. Carlos and I are sort of just going to like briefly riff on a couple of these topics that were covered
in the TC Year in Review report. After a couple of minutes of riffing, we will open it up to the larger audience to come to stage. Go deep around that particular part, ask any questions, make any predictions, any hot takes. We want this to be an opportunity
community for folks who have a rather report, maybe you haven't read the report, but you're interested in it. So go a little deeper on what was discussed and make it as concrete as possible, maybe to the work that you're doing and how it applies across the board. So super excited on that ends.
Yeah, what's up, Dan? What's up, Dwayne? Oh, man, okay, we're getting some folks. Good stuff, good stuff. Carlos, is there any section specifically that you would like to begin with?
Anything you're most excited about. So begin with I think the observation
What like the biggest stake that be sort of like
Knot with compared to like the last report reposition 2001, right? So yeah, that would be interesting to see like how things change and how some of the prediction we made, you know, then I think we had like in Cooper was the one
It's extremely bullish as well, jazz. We all made some crazy prediction. And I think it would be interesting to dive into like, you know, if in any form or shape, some of those prediction can to life in part, I think so, right? So we can jam a little bit there as well.
Yeah, just jumping a little bit broadly on like what's happening today and where we see the future going. So I think I would be crazy. Like how social how everything went from social tokens to community tokens and that transition what happened what we noticed in a building like throughout this life cycle.
Awesome. Yeah, I guess we can start there. Maybe we can start off a little bit more retroactively in the past. But we talk a little bit about this reports. I want to pull up the section just to make sure we're getting this rate.
We talk about how in late 2020, forefront began as like this home of social tokens, aggregating everything happening from creator tokens, the NFT collector tokens and more. And as the NFT way it began to happen, it quickly became clear that social tokens were sort of trending in the direction of community tokens from individuals
And then we talk a little bit later about this 2021 report that came up. The discussion of SWB of rally of bank was down and then later that year communities like Cabin, like Kraus House, like song camp beginning to launch.
