Hello everyone. If you can hear my voice, give me a thumbs up or whatever your favorite emoji is. Bottom right of your screen. Hit that button. Yeah, Ellison, good to see you.
unmute yourself, let's jump in and start to welcome people before we officially start. Hi. Hey. Hello, hello. Me, Em. Early in the morning here in California.
California. Yep, why does she leave over here? Sorry? No, go for it. Oh, I was going to tell everyone we're going to get started in about a minute if they
want to help out. I would love it if they could share this space by going to the bottom right of their screen. That purple bubble where you can speak, which we'd love for you to speak in.
and the speakers hit the button request to speak
I see a few of you in here. I want to make sure that I get everybody in if you're supposed to be a speaker we want to hear from you. If you're in the Dow space, if you're in the real estate space, we want to know that too so that we can customize this to you and make sure that this is actually useful. Hit that button on the bottom right. That's the chat
button and let us know what are you doing in DAO's, what are you doing in real estate or what would you like to get out of this session? We're really responsive here. I think anyone who's been in this space in the past or in any of the origami spaces in the past knows I am big on direct messaging people and making
making sure that we stay in touch. So I do definitely want to hear from you. Dom, especially you, I know that you're in real estate. This is JPEG Dom. So I'd love to hear from you. Let's connect. We're going to get started in just a moment.
How's the audio coming through to you, Elson? That's super clear. Yeah. Hopefully there's no issues with the sort of space right now. We have a lot of great speakers coming in today. A lot of them have great experience through executions. I think that's really valuable in space.
Oh, look at this. We've got Matai from Kift. I'd like to love for you to speak. You're in the article that I wrote about this, about real estate dolls.
I see you in there. I'm going to make sure that you get a chance to speak to. But why don't I start by introducing this session. My name is Andrew everyone and I'm with origami.
What got this started was Ben Ha, the founder of Origami said, "Andru, you should be investigating real estate dolls. There's not... there's a lot going on, but there's much more that could be built. This is early days for it to go investigate."
And so I started investigating and I made tons of phone calls. A lot of you here have gotten calls from me. I did a lot of research to understand what exactly is going on in real estate dows. And for those of you who don't know, dows are decentralized autonomous organizations. And I found some really exciting stories.
I found this one group, Kugardow, that was buying a farm together with a tenant and everything. That then they were adding an Airbnb to it. I found another group that was buying a golf course, another group that was buying a
big land so that they could end up meeting up in person this whole online community called Kift. And I said, this is really exciting, but I also see some challenges in this space. And so I wrote up everything that I found, the list of all the gals, all the people who are tokenizing
Invest in real estate or want to start growing a real estate vision can get together and do it But I also found some challenges and the excitement and the challenges are what led me to work with some of the people I wrote
about to create this Twitter space so that you all can hear what is working in this world of real estate tokenization, of putting real estate on the blockchain. And at the same time, to hear what are the challenges, what's not working so that we can find a way to get
through this. That's the vision. You can imagine in a few years more and more pieces of land, more and more buildings, tokenize more accessible, voted on by a community of people like the ones I see mean brains here from Citadel.
