Hello, I'm doing for the guest speaker. Hello, is that best coming from money chain? Yeah, it's me. It's me. I'm here. Can you hear me? Okay, great. Yes, I can hear you. Excellent. Hey, yeah, give me a
We got a brief introduction to today's talk. Hi, hello everyone, my name is Justin and I'm the Marketing Manager of Climate Change and welcome to today's event and the first episode of Tomo Talk with which we'll be bringing you a serious
of educational and impactful discussions on hottest topics in crypto today with some experienced experts. And today we are very glad to be joined by Beth Gov from Martichand, which is the leading cross-chain protocol.
and we just ended up partnership with the merchant quite recently. And today's topic is going to be building an interoperable feature. And I think the money chain is going to be a great guest for this topic. And hi, that's co-sync. So much for joining us today. And you want to do--
Hey, A. Justin, thank you so much for inviting me and it's a pleasure to be here representing Multi-Chain and it's a pleasure to be the host, the host no they invited, the invite of the first episode of Tomotox. It's a pleasure to be here.
Excellent. It's the pleasure to have you joining us. And for the people that are in the room, you can leave your questions, you can drop some questions in the chat, and I will be reading them out after I go through, I'll prepare the questions and I'll
without your questions as well. So if your question gets read out, you will get a $20 reward from the money chain team. Okay, so without further ado, let's get started. And Vesco, do you give us a brief introduction to the money chain as well as a little bit about your service?
So yeah, I can start by myself. So I am a Vashko or a mustard. I have been in crypto since 2017. I have a traditional finance background, but yeah, well, as most of you know, once you try crypto, it's very hard to go back and
I got into Multichain and all of this crosschain D5. Yeah, I couldn't go back and so I've turned Crypto full time for about two years I think. Yeah, in terms of Multichain, Multichain as some of you know has not always been Multichain so it actually started
as any swap two years ago in 2020. It started right around Ukraine, so we were at the beginning of DeFi. A lot of money was flowing in, a lot of TVL growing in UD swap. Everybody was trying to use an L being and was trying to use DeFi
And yeah, we thought that yeah Ethereum of course had a great usability however, it was very expensive and we saw that there was a lot of opportunities in other chains, so to grow other chains and so we decided to launch any swap as a cross-chain that
in several chains. And so you could move your ass across all of these chains. However, we had mediocre success as a DEX, but we saw that there was a big opportunity with this cross-chain bridge. And so we decided to focus on that and over the years,
We've seen that it works pretty well, but I remember when we first got our 10-year-old in NITVL, I remember being so happy and sending a message to Zozin, which is our CEO, saying, "Oh my God, 10-year-old, we need to write." Right now we're doing a few
It does a million in a volume per day, we have billions of TVL, we have 2500 bridges. So yeah, it's been quite a ride. And obviously we changed, we rebranded because any swap was more of a text name and we thought that multi-chain is more
to the brand obviously. Yeah, that's true. And that's very impressive. We all know that transferring assets across chains based states could be very expensive and also a couple of some. And what challenges do you think they are installing today's interoperability issues?
So yeah, I would say that the first priority always when we talk about any, any defibrata code that secures billions, you need to talk about security and obviously bridging as we've seen there have been some terrible bridging
So we need to avoid that. And so security has been our priority. And so several security measures. So first of all, we have a security fund that is filled with percentage of our fees. We also have a security fund that is filled with percentage of our fees.
So I've been completely open source ever since the beginning and the Tango is here is always talking about an effect which is the Lindy effect. This Lindy effect says that something that has not happened, the longer it stays without happening, the less likely it is
