Hello, good afternoon. Thank you for joining us. Hi, Xenia.
[Clock ticking]
Hello, if you're talking I can't hear you.
I still can't hear you unfortunately.
If you look at um
your profile. There should be like purple lines to show that the microphone is working. I don't think yours is working.
(sad music)
(crunching)
(coughing)
Can you hear me now?
Hello, hello.
Go on, go on.
Hello, okay here we know.
Hi, can you hear me? Yes, hi, I see you. Yes, finally, finally, I don't know, Twitter just being funny sometimes. It is, Twitter space is buggy and it is very much. And you still can't use
it on laptop. It's like only on mobile right now. So yeah, it's crazy. I see a lot of people actually kind of switching from Twitter spaces to YouTube or Telegram. But it's still, I think it's still necessary to be on Twitter and still push this tech, Twitter tech to be working.
I agree. I've tried to telegram Twitter spaces as well, or telegram calls as well. It's good, but I think Twitter has greater reach. How are you doing? Thank you for joining us.
this afternoon. For sure, for sure. Thanks for inviting me. I'm doing well. It's Friday. Yeah, busy week, but all is good. Great, great. Yeah, same here. So just a little bit about
We've been obviously developing using the GetGems API. Our Dow functionalities and our AI imaging feature allows users to prompt
text to AI images and we actually allowed the users to mint those images to get gems. So we've been very happy about working with your API and using you as the number one obviously in Marketplace.
for the TAN ecosystem. I'm happy to hear you're you find in it very handy. Yeah, everything works well. But yeah, we just launched a AI text to imaging directly on telegram. So have
Have you heard of mid-Journey before? Have you used it before? Majority, of course. Yes. Yeah. So basically it's mid-Journey directly on Telegram. Nice. How's it going? How is it? We just lost it. It's actually in beta right now. It's going well. It's everything
Like you would expect We're gonna release an article and allow people to try it So so yeah with that said I'll begin with some questions about about get gems
So just a little bit of background information if you don't mind sharing with our audience and for the recording. Could you talk about GetGems very quickly? Your role there and how to get gems get to where it is today?
Here, GEDGEMS is the home of NFTs on the Open Network on Tom's blockchain and we went live last year. Well, we just over a year old. And I would say we have the largest number of collections on Tom's blockchain.
all residing on getjams, but we also kind of display everything which has been minted on ton. Anyways, getjams is really like our goal is to reach people through fun and simple NFTs.
Like I always say it like make NFTs fun again because at some point they got too expensive or too complicated and we try to create solutions like maybe you know we have some games like New Year X or Lost Dogs some gamified mechanics combined with NFTs just to make
to let anyone enjoy NFT space. So we're building towards that. So our big strength is we have huge experience in social engagement for tech and we bring in this into web free and on-tune as well and regarding
myself. I'm in charge of marketing on Gagems and my name is Exynia and yes if you have any ideas or any suggestions or any feedback about Gagems just you can reach out to me or for our chats or to our DMs on Twitter anywhere we will be happy to assist and be of help.
Great, that's a great introduction and a little bit more about Sony and our community. We did start in the United States more on the Western. However, I'm pivoting more to
internationally, Asia, Europe, because naturally with how America is regulating a lot of crypto, I think the opportunity is internationally now. And we've been building on time for the past
four months, five months now, and it's been a wonderful journey. Our middleware is always, you know, follows your thesis, making things fun and frictionless, making things easy to do. So we are all about bots, plugins,
on not just Telegram but also Discord, Facebook, Twitter. The idea is sort of bridging what to what to read on the socials. Socialside. So when we saw a ton obviously it was a wonderful opportunity
It's a wonderful transition into Telegram, right? It's just like a very, very kind of resourceful and rich channel, which is kind of more open to web free compared to many others.
It's a great opportunity. I personally believe that not just because I work here, but I do personally think that. And I think it has fantastic potential. So we just have to keep building and let the time go. We're building.
Absolutely, absolutely. So we have a network of builders that I've been trying to introduce, TAN2. It's great that we're doing this Twitter space to introduce the NFT space that's currently on TAN. I actually organized a
an event for NFT and YC a couple of months ago for my community to introduce Todd. So hopefully a couple of builders slowly will be building using our middleware on to Todd. So with that said,
I would say I would give a quick synopsis of the NFT marketplace in time from my perspective. I think there are a lot of very highly engaging projects from punks to whales to diamonds that provide a lot of utility
not just gaming and social, but also DeFi-staking and other things. It's actually quite creative from what I can tell. And obviously GetGems provides
A really good marketplace. To me, it's very bug free, really good engineering. And then it looks like there might be more things down the road on the roadmap for get you to provide more infrastructure.
Like as I mentioned, like building something fun for users, it's also our goal to build a lot of very frictionless stuff for the ecosystem. And like, I'm happy to hear that you have a good experience on the marketplace. That's one of the goals to make it very easy to use.
and then also provide the stats just to give like overview of the whole ecosystem available in one place which is very handy and then we also have an FT bot on Telegram which is again adds up to Telegram ecosystem and making Web free
available there too and just kind of like very unrecognizable as web free but very casual use sort of for anyone. And yet for sure there's a lot of things down the road and yeah, stay tuned.
Yeah, that's that's great and could you talk about your perspective on the NFT space in time? What you know, obviously there's been a lot
growth. Where do you see it going? Short term and what infrastructure do you think is needed for it to take its next step? And then also maybe just like socially
and maybe just your overall thoughts. Yeah, well, the whole NFC kind of movement on Tom started late spring last year.
[Clapping]
Sorry, I can't hear you anymore, Hilla.
Sorry, sorry. You're really far away from the phone. Hello? Hello? Hello?
Hello, hello.
Excuse me, hello.
I've seen you all. Hello. Hello.
Hello, Xperia. Hello, hello.
Sorry, thanks for your patience. Hopefully she jumps on soon.
Hey, we can hear you now. We didn't hear any of the answer. Where did I drop? I mean, like, honestly, from the very beginning of the answer.
All right, I'll just do a shorter recap of what I was saying. I was saying that the all NFT movement on tone started at the very end of global hype of NFTs, which affected very much
the trend for the collections and the creators that were being launched on time. But then again, the founders of the project and the new creators who came
And I think they did like the smartest thing ever. Very much connected to Telegram. And it's a great example of how Web Freak can be used by normal people, which is Telegram user names and Telegram anonymous phone numbers.
hearing loads of feedback from creators, from other blockchains as well, that, and I know it personally too, that this is how people use NFTs and become part of WebFree.
without extra questions like why am I doing that? Why am I paying thousands of dollars for a picture? What's that for? And what is it after all? And in terms of how the future is going to be
looking, I think that this simple utility and very kind of casual use of a web free elements, for example, like NFTs, can be
used in real life. The more projects like that will be popping up and also I see there needs to be and this trend is already starting of simplifying the entry to web free. For example, we in Gatjams, we always talk about that how even like even if you have this really in
and keep to enter a game of New Year X where you can win thousands of dollars just by purchasing an NFT of which costs one dollar, you still need to download the wallet. You still need to remember 24/12 wards to the seed phrase for the wallet.
And that's already like completely, it's very, very complicated entrance to web free and to these fun activity that we're doing. So in that sense, I think there will be a lot of simplification from various projects on-tongued
I hope also universally in Web3. And I think, well, what we do, we do our like fun activities, not just because, well, obviously to unbord people, to get gems and to tawn, but also to showcase it to other creators.
and teams that this is something which is working and people really love engaging with projects like this so why not you do something of that kind too. So I would say these are three main approaches which
will be developing in the future. In the very nearest future is simplification of entry to WebFree. Fun and easy to join activities and then simple utility of NFT or WebFree product.
I hope everyone heard me. Yeah, we heard you. That's great. And something that I think NFT does is it attracts a lot of new users to the ecosystem because it's simple. Everyone can understand
What an NFT is, the mission, the vision. And I think it's a great way for people to join the ecosystem. So ultimately, I think from a marketing perspective, I've been talking to projects partnering with them.
Because our platform and middleware has a lot of marketing tools as well. We are strategizing about targeting Eastern Asia, targeting Middle East and Europe, like how do we market to these new regions.
people oftentimes learn about the NFT and then learn about ton after. So I think it's a good gateway for a lot of people. And because it's on telegram it's so easy for people to use. And it's also like, I wouldn't say it's a unique case, but it's a
One of those cases when a lot of people got unborted into blockchain and into the coin through NFTs. For example, for main blockchains like Ethereum and Solana, it was like first the coin which got the traction and for Solana like a game and things and stuff.
And then NFTs. We had a little bit reversed, but it still was a way for people to join. And there's definitely a lot of things to discover and try. All of us, I think, we all do something that has never been done
before and that's why it's exciting and at the same time very unpredictable yet like I believe that's the future in one one form or another and that's what keeps us going for
than just keep building and doing the stuff we do. Awesome. So, could you talk a little bit more about maybe roadmap? If you don't mind sharing, is there anything on the Getshams roadmap for more NFT?
For example, right now, NFT5 is kind of popular and hot now. I think volumes are down considerably, but a lot of people are doing lightning bar or a state game. I believe the noun, I like
more personally I've seen a lot of collections using the nouns concept where it's like daily releases I think that's a great way for a project to fund raise so it's just stuff like that any any cool things that you can share with the community? Well actually there is kind of like a noun project
Tonton as well, it's called Meridian and they are releasing one Meridian a day. They minted, check it out. They have kind of also like pixelated art which is very cool. In terms of roadmap for GEDRAMs, there is nothing like
very much related NFT-5 or tokenization or whatever because we think it's maybe far down the road. For now, far down the road only because to be honest there is not a single sustainable
example of a marketplace release in the talking and that you can see that it's going to be leaving for years and years. There's a great example of Blurr but that's like a growth hacking growth marketing which is also a time bomb for NFT market.
and it's not about sustainability at all. So that's why we're being very careful regarding tokenization of the project itself. And in same regard with any NFT-fi concepts.
Actually, for now we have some projects in mind and they are also into engaging users and I mentioned making the fun special projects to onboard users into Torn and Webfree and then
another one which is simplifying the entry into web free. These are the two directions we are working hard on and focusing on. But something that I could publicly announce, just I can't. But something is cooking.
Got it. Sounds good. What about you guys? What are your plans?
Yeah, so we just, as I mentioned earlier, launched the AI text imaging product feature so that it's like mid-journey so that telegram users can create user-generated images from
text prompts. So we're going to really focus on that for individuals, group chats, dows, across the ecosystem. I think there are a lot of use cases from something simple like
you and your friends doing a simple competition on it's just a good way for people to catch up creating content and sharing things to all the way from like you know specifically NFT projects where you know
It could be a story-based NFC project where additional collections are generated from the genesis and the story continues and gets created through user generation across the community. So I think that this will unlock a lot of
creativity and an FT creating minting and creation. So we'll see. We're very excited about it. I think, you know, we're we're gonna really add more
or Web3 tools and features on top of it. Because the cool thing about mid-Jerny, it exists, right? I think the hard part is figuring out the Web3 use cases, so obviously minting, but beyond that, there's a lot more things we have in store.
Yeah, yeah, there is so much to do but I really love the thing that you say that These co creation really encourages people to spend more quality sort of time online and I think they just bringing
more of a social element into everything related to web free or whatever like just the experience is makes it more sort of wholesome and make it worth being spend time here.
Yeah, another cool thing that we have planned is Like for example all the NFTs on get gems your NFT You can actually generate images from a character or an animal or you know
or a whale, you can generate stories and other images from your NFT. That could be a pretty cool concept where you're adding more utility and creation from static NFTs. Because you know right now NFTs are
just kind of static PSPs. So I think this could be an extension to more. Yeah. More and free. Oh, actually, did you have a chance to check out the last dog's project, which was launched on Gagems, like in March, I think?
Lost dogs, dogs, lost dogs. I think I've heard of it actually. This is something like kind of correlates with what you're talking about. That's what that was the it was one of those experiments we did with another team.
but they kind of shared our vision in terms of cheap and easy to join collection with really fun mechanics and then just to engage the community and let them have a lot of fun. So the idea was that we launched together with that team.
2222, 2222 entities of the original collection and then it was like dogs of different like in different clothes and feet attributes and stuff like that. But then every dog could mate with
another dog to breed a new dog with attributes from the parents. And then there's also another collection of mutagens and if you have a mutagen in your wallet, the new baby dog will have a mutation as well. And also on top
of that there is some competitions who has the first fully mutated dog or like the dogs with like one eye will win this much ton and that much ton. So this is yes and for sure this the community had so much fun we
We didn't have that many messages for a long time, but we had like thousands and thousands in one week. So yeah, this is something which is definitely being very engaging to community. And this is something which is not actually being
created by projects often enough so people kind of crave this
action and co-creation and just like some little fun stuff when you don't know what NFT you're gonna meet next. It makes it fun, it makes it exciting and it definitely just brings people together as well and as well as into the
space we're holding. Yeah absolutely yeah. There's reminds me of OG crypto kitty. Yes yes it was very much inspired by that. Unsurprised there aren't other collections that capitalized on
sort of like this idea after crypto kitties. Even like in ETH, I don't think there are a lot of collections. Not just like offsprings and parents, but like you said, the concept of, you know, NFTs have power and utility with other collection.
the connection or relation. Yeah, that's something that should be explored more. Yeah, I just think like it's just adds a little bit another level of organization and tech. But then if that is handled, it's definitely a lot of opportunity how
How many cool things could be done? Absolutely. Cool. So I'll stop there. It's been a wonderful conversation. Is there any specific things
Maybe you want to talk about? As for now, well, in the nearest weeks, there is no huge news. I can link you that information. But in the next couple of months,
Something rather interesting is coming, so stay tuned, but for now, come to Get Jams. If you eager or interested in launching your collection, you can reach out to us or you can always use the interface of our marketplace.
We always add in the features which are being requested by the community. We actually very much in tune with the community and whatever feedback we get. If there is a lot of requests for a certain feature, this feature gets developed. So we always in touch
and we will be happy to hear the ideas and collaborate, co-create and build. Thanks a lot for this chat. I was super excited to hear about your project as well and I really love that you bring in the other
American audience into TAN, which is into Telegram as well, because I know it's not like the first really channel for them, but it's definitely a very interesting market for sure, as well as the Asian market where TAN kind of being
building, well it's building a lot towards Asia now as well and a lot of communities popping up there which I love. So it's exciting time for sure. Yeah and crypto kind of gave us a scare over
As two or three weeks, but it's always does. It always does like last few months it does. Yeah, but what I tell my audience and my community is that, you know, don't look at the prices too much, especially for the
ton because ultimately focus on the core pillars. Actually, as the last question, I might just ask you on these lines. It's like focus on the core pillars, which is the fact that ton is very integrated on telegram and telegram can grow as
the number one communication platform for what if you look at like product execution, I just think it's moving the fastest and they're all very in line with what the utility. So I believe in that at the core of it,
because again my thesis, Sonnist thesis has always been sort of socials allowing for Web 3 to grow, right? The catalyst for Web 3 and I think Tonn is just, you know, perfect aligned with Telugu.
Maybe you could talk you could mention that you think could be a catalyst for for this next cycle coming out of this bear market You know what what do you think maybe just from an NFT perspective or whatever you think is Well the catalyst I think will be like more so
the casual use of web-free products and I will get deeper into that just after I add something like ton really kind of went live and public just over a year ago like it went may not yes it existed for a few years
in a kind of like a hibernation stage. And last summer we were joking that Tom is a stablecoin which were like almost around a dollar. Then it kind of skyrocketed to almost three dollars and then got back down. But anyways, like even compared to the
of the industry, which were for years and have like a quite large communities and ecosystems done is steadily holding within like top 20 up to top 30 on CoinMarketCap. And I think it's very much an underdog and not many of them.
many people know about Ton yet it's already there and that's beside the fact that Ton is very much connected with Telegram and Telegram is just one layer obviously it goes way beyond Telegram 2 but Telegram it has 700 million users and there is already
already I was doing calculations the other day about the telegram anonymous phone numbers and the user names both of which are NFTs and if I'm not mistaken there is around 200,000 holders like unique holders of those
NFTs, which is huge numbers actually compared to many blockchains with where NFT market and where all the action just kind of being done by top 10% of the wallets, which is not mass adoption, we're talking about.
But it is what it is. And I think in the future the catalyst will be exactly like the cases of user names or phone numbers. I think it could be go something towards like NFT ticketing, NFT certificate, diploma,
and stuff like that, plus some viral social mechanics, I think that's also something which will help to expand the reach of web free and NFTs and eventually kind of touch upon that mass of
We'll talk about. Awesome. Thank you so much for your time at Xenia. Thank you so much. Thank you, James. It was a wonderful conversation. Hopefully we can do these more and maybe add more people. I wanted to highlight gethems for this one.
So, thank you Jeff. It was a pleasure. Yes, thanks a lot and yep, keep in touch. For sure, we will be happy to do it more often. All right, and thanks for all of our listeners. Please, please check out Getjums.
all the amazing NFT collections there. Check out our AI text to imaging product. You can create anything you want and then mint it directly on Get Your Voice through our bot. And, you know, fun times ahead. Let's keep creating. Thank you.
