Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. so
OK, so first time I'm streaming on a laptop,
so I'm just trying to get it.
Probably get a second monitor actually for this. how are you can you hear me okay
oh sorry yeah uh i had my mic turn off. I'm good, thank you. What about you?
Yeah, I'm good, man, I'm good.
So far, very good call on Fartcoin.
But, you know, I was kind of, well, is the stream going?
let me check on twitter yeah
the only issue today i because i haven't got two screen oops that was a mistake i'm gonna have to
like if we need to go on deck screener i'll have to like reshare the screen because i want to
in fact i'm gonna minimize the stream on if you can keep on top of like comments and
stuff and just tell me them and i'll just minimize it sure i'm on it bitcoin is pumping
right should be good everyone see all right i feel a bit lost not having the comments on the
screen this week it's gonna be weird i'll watch them for you don't worry i wonder if I can have them open on my phone, actually. That might be a good idea.
In fact, I know what I can do.
Me and technology is always enjoyable.
I'll retweet the stream as well.
Oh, you can't even see the comments on there.
All right, okay, fuck it.
Hello, good morning. Good afternoon.
I kind of, where are we at?
We obviously, you know, broke this high, consolidated.
Sailor basically was buying into a brick wall we broke down
we lost a monthly open again we chopped around and now it's very likely that we're probably
just going to close right at the monthly open and give everybody zero idea as to what we're
going to do next um general view on the market is um i'm kind of bearish in the sense of i i'm bearish in the
sense of i don't think it's a market you want to be holding positions for a long time just yet
there's not really a signal to say buy and hold um but i'm kind of bullish on the fact that there's
good volatility still and there's decent intraday trades so i'm quite happy dipping in and out
when i see a decent opportunity um i think last stream i just closed my fart coin is that correct
i think you closed just before the stream uh yeah and then i felt the sense of regret and FOMO.
Because, yeah, that was it.
My view was that I was looking for a dip back into, I think it was here.
I was looking for a dip on Bitcoin back into the open of the week.
Took long than anticipated.
I did feel a bit like, oh, God, did I close too early?
But I maintained my patience and conviction,
and we finally got the dip down.
I got out of Fartcoin, I think it must have been around 58,
Yeah, 56 cents, if i remember correctly yeah and then i was kind of hoping for a dip into 46. it did that but it's obviously it's come through it's rejected
and it's come down again um i decided just before us open to get in again i was posted in the telegram chat if you guys are in there i'm not sure what
my entry is let me check it must be around 39 i think uh yeah uh reason being um bit of a four
hour divergence uh back at previous support i suppose we can move this up slightly just to trick us into thinking it's the bottom.
And I'm a bit more inclined to take some risk because I've already closed and I made quite a nice profit on this trade.
So quite happy to take a punt here.
Just going to chill and hold it.
If it closes below here and holds I'll take the loss
if it gets above here and holds I'll be quite bullish and I'll take it as I see it
60 cents being resistance again and the final target being a 68
so my kind of view the reason the reason for taking the long is one i think it's that support
i think there's been a lot of selling over the weekend generally i think one cool thing about
crypto right now is everyone knew the tariffs thing was coming this morning so it feels as
though it was kind of priced in over the weekend and the only thing to do now is bounce because the headline's already been and everyone's already positioned for
it in the other situation where everyone's short now um and you know it's probably that's probably
already a finished move in my opinion uh there's a nice flush to start the day on equities decent reaction on the es and my view is when people already know
the headlines out and rsi on the four hours at 20 i'm not going to break down short this like
if it does keep going down it's it's you know it's it's just one of those situations where
it is what it is but like when the rsi is already slammed and everyone
already knows the news like i'd rather take the other side you know um another good example like
if you we look at solana here like it's been diverging for the last two days is it's clearly
finding support around this 125 so you've got a clear and validation
so basically all i did today um is i rotated my money back into solana so just to let you know
i rotated back out of solana at 138 136 to 138 i think it was 138 i basically rotated into solana
swapped it for fart coin then i swapped my fart going back to solana, swapped it for Fartcoin,
then I swapped my Fartcoin back to Solana and swapped my Solana back to USDC.
And I decided to swap back into Solana this morning, swap back into Fartcoin.
And I'm just going to hope and see that this plays out.
The invalidation is 125 and the invalidation is 38, 39 on Falkpoint. So clear so far?
So far, nothing from the chat.
Johnny Pistos on YouTube is asking, though, long or short?
But we kind of already answered
Like if you check the 15 minutes chart on Bitcoin, like it's down, up, down, up, down,
And this actually could be, this could be the sweet before lower
actually so i'm just being mindful you've got to be very very very quick to and quite open to just
flip-flopping to be honest people are always like oh don't flip-flop don't flip-flop um
i'm actually going to take profit on my Falkcoin right now. Hang on.
Because Bitcoin's just put on a 15-minute div and it swept some of the weekend highs.
So this is the key in this market, in my opinion,
is as soon as you lose that conviction,
you just got to get out, in my opinion,
and wait for the next setup.
Okay. Yeah, i'm out that's not that little profit um so yeah everything i've just said is invalidated now no i'm joking but um you know
there's a good chance it takes these lows now actually to be honest
and then might try again same with solana
yeah happy to hopefully get some questions
or some chart requests. Anything you want to look at Michael
pardon me anything you want to look at
oh yeah I got absolutely again for you today
okay let's call it fat on the screener it's called fat yeah yeah but I think we should start with you know maybe
overlook silver and gold before we enter my you know section of absolutely
shit okay we're probably I think I'll refrain from calling it its full name
excuse me there are a few questions so the first one is what's your target for solana
coke or pepsi uh coco pepsi yeah diet coke diet coke okay so we have an answer and if you could
look at grass it was showing some strength over the weekend
apparently yeah that's that that's that's the ticker yeah I like the part basically
um to be honest I don't particularly have a a target in mind on Solana like I just said like
I was hoping for higher but then after the sweep on bitcoin i'm already
thinking you know chop my view is chop it's not really having any strong conviction in targets
um it's trying to take anything i can uh so targets i kind of try and break it down in
where the stop loss is uh you know it's been chopping in here for a few days
you know the next level I'm interested in would be here
and it would be you literally have to be so
vigilant you have to be so you know you have to be really dialed in
and at your screen because you because this would be another potential scalp.
Ideally, somewhere up into here, 130 would be nice.
That could be a nice trade.
But again, it's about breaking it up because I think the idea of trying to capture,
I mean, I've got this trade marked out because I still like these stops but until we do something a bit more constructive I'm just going to take these
shorter time frames as far as like let's let's try and determine where would I start having
higher targets I think right now I'd say anywhere in here is basically the, you know, the chop zone grinder.
So I'm kind of looking for another entry here, hopefully.
I think if you're looking for higher timeframe targets, a reclaim of this 136 would be quite constructive.
It's all, you know, it's consolidated here failed at 180 consolidated
broke down had one test in the consolidation and failed to hold so i think if it gets back above
this 136 and uh then there's a good chance it's going to hold and then i would be looking at
targets up into 160s 163 and then a view of like taking these equal highs at 180 so if you're looking and
holding out for bigger wider targets where you haven't got to be as actively trading
set a set an alert on this 136 50 and if it holds above good chance we're going to get up to 160 and 180 i think um until then i think you've got to be comfortable scalping and i
would probably recommend most people sit on their hands until something more constructive happens
um grass is grass better to look on here or decks i think we can try and try a trading view I'm
not sure though I'm not it's not on my watch list basically so yeah mm-hmm
let's see it's one of those charts where instantly looking at it it doesn't give me any like signal to be honest
i don't i'm i'm really not a fan of engaging with these slow grinds up
um i'd i'd probably guess that it's going to pop more than it is going to dump.
You know, this looks more like potentially,
I think people can misconstrue these as bare divs,
and it's probably just, you know, it's just,
it's kind of a market that's moving but with not much momentum
and it's just as likely to do this as it is to do this i think um i think if it does pop
probably up to two dollars this breakdown level is quite likely to get swept so
i don't like taking these trades but if you want like a really tight gamble
like something like this you can have a really tight stop honestly
I'd be tempted to maybe go to this one, to be honest, because the way it's maintaining this kind of trend line, you kind of want to see it hold the trend line for the pop.
If it breaks it, then there's a good chance it comes down here.
So one of those, it feels a bit gambly, but if you want a slightly wider stop, maybe down to here.
slightly wider stop maybe down to here I mean this is a 20% move from price so
it's kind of a nice nice one if you want just a tight risk but it just feels a
bit gambly to me the next question is I think we answered it a few times in the past but have you been trading if at all uh yeah a
little bit i took a bit annoyed actually bit annoyed i can't remember the last trade i took
but um i've taken a couple of shorts on on eath um really annoyed that i shorted i think it was exactly this price like 292 293
um and i closed when did i close try and remember
i think i closed on this spike back up for break even because i was just like ah god
it just feels uncomfortable being short
when there's not really particularly good highs.
I'd rather see a stronger rejection.
And my target, what was my target?
I think my target was down here, 2,000.
So quite annoyed at myself for closing that one at breakeven.
But overall, not really i've been focused on solana far coin and bitcoin the three standards
i'm sorry um there is a comment that jim is nooking my heart coin bikes life on stream yes that's exactly fuck what we are doing
yeah and Zig is asking his position positioning for a long on XRP and what do you think about it point 22 22 that's literally my my line uh i mean it's got a four hour div
which is nice so based on that i think you could probably put your stop loss i mean it might do
the three drives down into this support again that's something to bear in mind but this div's quite nice uh and i think that
yeah i think the div's good i think the target's good i think a move up into the 50 on the rsi is
kind of in line with this 2.22 um so yeah i kind of like it i think the one thing that I would bear in mind potentially is the markets quite
likes to do three drives so just bear in mind that it might do this and then bounce and it
might put in some sort of like triple div type thing but yeah I think you know whether it
plays out or not I don't know but I think the trade's good I think, you know, whether it plays out or not, I don't know. But I think the trade's good. I think the target's good.
Just goes to show you should never sell your fart coin it's like gold there's two things there's only one thing more valuable than fart coin
right now and it's physical gold
when are we getting physical? Answering your question, Tester.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm here.
Just looking in the chart.
I'm getting anxiety because my internet is...
Yeah, so the telegram is free.
I will post a link here in the chat, basically.
Just last time when I proposed the aiming knee,
Jim said it's too scummy.
So today we are going to do another way.
I think I closed the generational bomb.
It's quite unpleasant to trade, to be honest.
Like, any little spike on the ES
and altcoins and stuff just like
squeeze quite aggressively.
What a strange market we live in where
altcoins are moving because of es one minute candles
it's not what i got into crypto for
okay i guess we're looking at this fat
sorry ben what did you say i'm trying ben said like i shouldn't Sorry, Ben. What is it?
Ben said I shouldn't trade and host at the same time.
But that's the point of those streams, to learn something.
There are a few more questions.
How do you use the DOM while trading?
I mean, that's such an insane question.
I could spend an hour talking about the DOM.
It's so technical and stuff.
I need to do some homework. I'm not that familiar with DOM.
Yeah, and one more question.
Would you re-enter a position after closing it
if continuation looks likely,
like your part going trade.
It's one of the hardest aspects of trading.
If the price changes, then you you just gotta bite the bullet and get
back in like i just wanted the hardest things to do because you you've get you're stuck in the
mindset of like well i closed it because of this reason so i must stick to that reason um you know
it's very difficult but yeah um i'll def like i'm i'm already wait i'm already looking to get
back in that's my mentality i've already closed and now i'm just waiting to get back in um
old losers it could i could just be losing every trade like this until I have nothing
at least the mentality is good
what's the best way to start learning technical analysis
to be honest I think the key to technical analysis is
using your own brain instead of like what other people are teaching you
it's about because it's all it is is is a way for you to identify repeatable patterns that give you signal.
So for me, the key is like the usual approach
is to have as many indicators as possible to try and,
because it's like if you have enough indicators,
it's like some magical formula that's going to tell you
exactly what the market's going to do.
But there is absolutely no way
of ever predicting what the market's going to do all you can do is react to what it's already done
so if you can find a way to find repeatable patterns of what the market has already done
so historical price data then that's how you start and i would i would recommend one indicator
that can give you repeatable signals the one that i always tell people to use
is the relative strength index oh i've already got it on idiot um
because it's tried and true it's it's you know it works and i don't even you know there's some
bait you could go watch creds video on the basics of rsi so you get an understanding of what it's
telling you but but the key then is to to actually put it into action and find patterns that make
sense to you because it doesn't matter it doesn't matter like technical analysis is
fucking you know it's horoscopes it's bullshit in a sense um all you're trying to do is find a
repeatable pattern like you could be profitable by trading 10 minutes after every time you take a shit and you might be 80% profitable.
but the key is having the data,
if you take a hundred shits in a year and you win 75%, you don't win 75 out of 100 trades straight after having a poo,
that's your technical analysis.
It's about as technical as you need it to be.
So, you know, I think the key is just find something
that gives you a visual cue to take action, basically.
When I first started trading, this was my bread and butter, actually.
Not as actionable as it used to be.
You can kind of do this on any time frame there
but this triple divergence three drives pattern has been like a tried and true method of trading
for since i've been trading 2018 um so and again the the trick to using technical analysis
and the trick to trading is the patience to wait for
this signal because if you want to be a profitable trader most people want to trade too much because
they want to click and they want to trade but the key is you want to make good trades and you want
to win trades and the likelihood is like let's say you get one of these signals once a month by the
looks of it just based on this previous two data
points you've got three three drives triple divergence into resistance you've got three
drives triple divergence into support if you can get really good and really disciplined at
finding these triggers and then executing the trade um and you, you know, you can discern how you enter the trade yourself
by your own parameters and stuff.
But the key is wait for the signal, execute on the signal,
and stay disciplined on the target kind of thing, you know.
Most people don't do that.
Even traders I'm friends with and stuff don't do that
you know most people over trade and don't stick to just be a robot all of us i'm a shitty trader but i just sometimes on a
sunday evening i'm bored i don't have friends and i just click yep a few buttons to feel something
guys i posted again the link to the to the group so on twitter this time because
the previous one was on youtube i believe so if you want to join just just click the button as you
would trade all right we're gonna look at this fat coin because this is a beautiful chart
i told you it's my game i'm trying to get it listed on wax to to be fair like the chart is
absolutely beauty yeah like you have to bet on this upside right here um
you know i think you could even get aggressive and just take the trade now
uh let's put it on market cap actually it's better you know i would target 25 mil round number
stop at i mean you could have a stop at 10 mil honestly but this is you know this is one of those glorious charts where you have to bet on the trend, because it just looks so
Do you not see Dex Greener?
That was my mistake, because I'm watching from another monitor
just to trap everything, and there was some latency.
I'll tell you what I'm going to do, because can you
have dual screen or deck screener?
I didn't see it, but let's see.
And they have really good memes okay yeah i'm not sure if i want to click on them right now to be honest
it might get copyright like i'm not copyrighted but sent to jail but yeah this is a nice looking chart it's just one of those nice
organic looking charts whereas people interact it's like people's input that's printing it
as opposed to this foulness on bitcoin
okay any more any more questions or chart requests?
Nothing in the comments currently. Maybe we could see hype, because I'm quite bearish
on it here. It filled the whole week after the exploit.
I'm not sure if I say that on the stream with you or with SKU.
I think I said it on SKU.
I was saying that it was trading around 13.5, 14.
And my thesis was they are going to fulfill the whole week from the exploit. And for me
it's better to look at it.
I wouldn't like to bet on it
down here based on this RSI.
I'd need to see a bit more constructive price action to the upside.
Because I've got a few signals like this where it looks like it could potentially bullish diverge.
But I'm just waiting for a bit more strength.
Come on. bit more strength uh come on yeah i don't really like betting on downside here he had some previous like small support like i don't like i understand the reasoning for being bearish on it but
like if we'd look being objective right now,
we're bearish at support with some potential diverging structure.
even though like I get the logic for being bearish on it.
Technical indicators and like levels are telling me that you should be long
which kind of makes sense if the whole market's bearish and it's telling you
the opposite through the indicators and price then you know a lot of the time the best signals
are contrarian so um i'd rather be long i would
oh my god did i sell my thought coin okay got it good to know yeah
yeah it's kind of similar to solana here it's kind of struggling to you know it's grinding down into support without much momentum so yeah
but yeah i kind of get the feeling it feels choppy here it feels choppy so i'm just gonna
wait for something better
i mean this on solana's foul i'll just make it pinned like this for so long it's just bad
people calling me rat because apparently someone couldn't type the type the the token that i i recall i recommended you to have a look on and you're
cut and i'm a rat so tom and jerry yeah it looks terrible it's it's coin I was looking at it over the weekend
maybe let's check Trump coin are very curious how it looks like and I haven't
checked the chart in like two or three weeks did this just go up since the
stream with people I hope people aren't buying hype because of this room no no no it was it was going up before we we we started I was
actually arbitraging from AVM hyperliquid during our I mean I just
don't I just don't know the reasoning for even looking at trump to be honest
for me just a pure joke well you know it had certainly there's so many paper
there's so many paper millionaires on this coin that the idea that it's ever going to pump again
is just like stupid to me.
Any, like it's just, it's over, it's over.
Like I just don't, there's no reason for being,
even looking at it like holders.
You know, like look at a half percent, half percent.
Like, what's the liquidity? You know, there's so many people half percent, half percent, like also liquidity.
You know, there's so many people
sat in multi-million positions.
tell you. Why would you want to be
long Trump now, anyway? He's probably the most
hated man on earth right now.
No, I don't want to be long trump now anyway he's probably the most hated man on earth right now no i i don't want to be long i don't want to be short like i was just curious how the
chart is looking i haven't checked in quite a bit of time there is a request for lqte
q t e is that on deck screener i don't know it's first time when i l q t e uh no e like you are
i'm so bad in english like you the first letter that starts with when i say you i don't know how
i don't know how to pronounce it like yeah exactly
to pronounce it like yeah exactly
i can't believe someone's sharing an eve
what's wrong with you people what are crazy is it looks dead and it's at 64 mil market cap you know if it was at like
one mil market cap or something i'd be like yeah sure chuck a hundred dollars in it or something
but it's you know like I'd want a bounce to be like
2000% you know what I mean
back up to this resistance so
something looks this bad you want it to be at like
rock bottom market cap so you can at least
get multiples if it does some sort of
Jesus man multiples if it does some sort of stupid squeeze but jesus man
i mean look 121 transactions in the last 24 hours like bro
well well well sounds solid
that's someone that's been holding it since
someone said no good project
sir good project yeah looks fantastic i can't wait to
research it i can't wait to see what the 120 users doing there
Well, actually, two people are defending it.
Yeah, the two users left on it are defending it.
Well, another question about Telegram is, yeah, I just scroll a little bit higher.
I'm DoolDool and just click into the link.
You can hang out with us and talk about it.
And another question about Fartcoin.
Could you have another look on it?
It didn't do anything else than we discussed a little bit before, apparently.
What am I doing on Fartcoin?
I mean, it keeps squeezing.
I mean, this is what it does.
I closed and now I'm feeling like I've closed too early but i'm just gonna chill for a bit because it kind of did this last week i closed
early and it kept going and i'm like ah sake so you know but it's doing it dropped quite a bit later
a bit later after exactly yeah so yeah i'm not bothered right now it can do what it wants like
i'm only i'm only interested i guess now as far as like we're at the midpoint of my two levels
so bad place to take it take an entry if it comes back and sweeps again then i could consider
re-entering again if it gets above this level that I wanted to see it hold last week,
then I'll get in again, basically.
So it's about interacting with either side of the extremes of this midpoint
and avoiding the midpoint.
So as far as I'm concerned, I caught the little spike up.
If it keeps going, then so be it.
I could have played it better potentially but yeah don't do
anything here don't do anything here again could be diverging so so
jim how do you filter which coins to trade is it a mix of sentiment and some screener if as if screener which stats do you look at and which site
and which side um i mean it's generally yeah i guess it's generally sentiment so now solana's
still in my rotation because it's basically being a solana bull market so and you know i think the
i like i like doing a bit of on-chain shit coining. So obviously I need Solana in order to do that.
So Solana is always there because I like to rotate our USDC to Solana to shitcoins.
Fartcoin has basically been, you know, it's the only coin I actually see consistently on my timeline.
So that's the reason that's there, just for Mindshare.
And then Bitcoin is's just you know
bitcoin's just the one i always look at so um and i usually generally keep it to less than five
it's usually two or three that i look at um because i think it gets quite confusing when
you're looking at more um so really the one that can rotate out easy like most is fartcoin so it'd be bitcoin
solana and then if i see a meme coin that i like the look of has good traction and stuff i'll play
around on that um but like generally it's not really worth looking at any of the rest of the list currently,
You know, BNB potentially, but I'm not particularly interested.
I mean, it's not a bad-looking chart, to be honest.
It's probably the best-looking chart out of any, isn't it, really, BNB?
Well, it's strong but also i uh when times are good it doesn't like pump it's very stable
exactly it's it's strong but it's been utter misery to trade um
i remember when we've been looking on bnb like four months ago. And it was the same.
And, you know, it was, yeah, weak when we pump and strong when we dump, basically.
Yeah, it's basically been at the same price since we've been looking at it on streams.
Well, considering the current market situation, it's quite of an achievement.
This is one chart that has me concerned, though, as far as
and Fiatcoin and stuff. This whole
I mean, just saying it kind of looks like kind of looks like if btc
right yeah it's quite similar but it's like if six months ago let's see salty
salty does it look pretty good on salty still ETH seeks moms to go. Let's see Salt ETH. Salt ETH.
It looks pretty good on Salt ETH still.
Yeah, it looks very good actually.
So yeah, I'd still rather be Solana
I think another thing to think about that I've only just considered is it's April tomorrow, which means there's a new monthly candle. what's the likelihood we take out these lows
before you know any constructive price action going into a new month like are these lows
going to hold going into a new month like especially like when you consider there's
this stops here stops here stops here um so i think it probably pays to be patient
because quite a good chance really
that it's going to take those into a brand new month
to take the stops and the liquidity
I really think holding above
sort of 85k is where the real high signal
is that we get some upside um yeah i wouldn't feel too
worried about missing anything on the last day of the month because the likelihood was take some
liquidity so might be there is another question like overall question uh it's about your trading style is it similar to last cycle it's
completely different are you using a similar strategy yeah i mean it's much more discretionary
now than really like high signal um i'm kind of at the point now where my gut is very good. But, yeah, it's quite similar.
I can get some stats, actually.
Maybe I'll get them for next time.
But, basically, my win rates dropped a lot
from when i used to scalp but i take i think i'm at like a i think i'm like a four to one risk ratio
for my trades and then i'm like 42 win rate something like that i'd have to double check
because i can't uh but i think that's about
where i'm at um and generally my losses uh my i my win rate has gone down a lot because my
i cut my trades very fast if i they don't get on side quickly so that's why i have quite a lot of
losses but generally they're cut very fast so i don't take big losses and my trade duration has
gone up quite a lot since my sort of prolific period of trading i think my average trade time
now is like 9.5 you know 9.5 hours whereas before it was like two or three hours um so i've definitely had to adjust to the market but i would
say my trade style and the type of trades i take are kind of similar but just on a higher time
frame and a sort of higher yeah a longer period than i used to i don't generally trade five and 15 minute time frames anymore
we don't see any more questions
maybe is there anything else you would like no i think we're good i think we're good generally yeah i'll just recap kind of bearish
on any long like higher time frame momentum in either direction not necessarily you know
not necessarily bearish on like where we're going i don't really care but i'm just reducing my time exposure to the market not looking for any generational entries
if i can capture small moves that's what i'm going to do because whilst it's choppy there's
still really good volatility so it's best to try and make the most of it because potentially there
could be a period where there's no volatility and
that's when it gets really depressing so whilst you may be depressed now that prices are going down
um try and look at the bright side you know we're getting decent intraday moves if you can capture
one or two of them every week then you're going to be doing better than 99 of the people in the
market right now so just bear that in mind.
Have a good day, everyone, and thank you for joining.
Cheers. Bye, guys. Cheers.
