ん welcome everyone we're going to get started in just a few minutes i just want to leave the space

It's been raining here, so they're losing their minds. Thank you. so Thank you. all right i think we can get ready to start I have it recorded so if anyone misses it they can listen after the fact but yeah let's get started um so it's gonna be a quick space I just wanted
to go over a couple things to go over the announcement. So welcome, everyone.
I'm Grizzle.
I'm the artist of Trencher.
And since so many new people are here today, I think there's a lot of new base people that
have maybe never heard about Trencher or don't know the lore.
I'm just going to give a little backstory before I go over the bridge.
So yes, I'm Grizzle. I'm the artist of Trencher. And seven months ago in April,
I posted this illustration with the Trencher character. And it went viral in the middle
of the night while I was sleeping. And some random serial deployer guy tokenized my art on pump fun.
And I woke up to the token above 1 million market cap and already with 5,000 holders.
I woke up to like millions of impressions on my account. I went from like less than 3,000
followers to 10,000 followers. I had thousands of comments and DMs. People were
tokenizing my dogs. It was just the craziest day. It was so wild. And instead of rejecting the token
like so many artists do, I decided to take the opportunity to take advantage of all of the attention on my work to grow my brand and grow my IP around this character.
So many artists dream of that moment where people can see your work.
And I think that a lot of the times in crypto, when an artist's work is stolen from them,
you know, they reject it for many good reasons.
But I decided to take a different approach and take a risk in supporting this token in the community that had formed around it. So I paused all of my freelance work that I was doing at that
time. I wrapped up my freelance jobs and I paused. I didn't take any more freelance work. And now I work like 10 hours a day at least on Trencher.
I've been working full time on Trencher since then. And those early months were a very crazy
time for me because when Trencher was launched, creator fees didn't exist yet. Like not many people were doing creator fees yet. So when I
decided to support the token, I thought the quote unquote dev or the deployer, I thought that he was
like out clean. And then two weeks later, PumpFun announced that creator fees were going into place,
into place, but they weren't going to me. They were going to the deployer, the guy who stole my

art. And he ended up making over $86,000 off of my work while I was earning nothing. But even when
all of that was happening, I still stuck with Trencher and I kept working. I just, I kept
working and grinding and posting art and like all the same time advocating for those fees
to be redirected to me so I could earn the royalties off of my own art. And eventually
they were redirected and I'm so grateful for that. And since then, since all of that happened,
I've registered the character, the Trencher character as copyrighted IP.
I've created over 700 pieces of art in the past seven months.
I've launched an animated series and I work with some really cool guys who are doing animations for me while I'm working on my own 3D model to do my own animations, which is coming soon, which is going to be so fun.
I'm really excited about that. I host weekly live art sessions, like live streams, and I've collaborated with a bunch of artists and creators. And I've also been featured by PumpFun, Hourbit, OpenSea,
Moonshot, BitGet, Radium, and now Bass. So to me, I sort of see Trencher as a creator coin, even though I didn't create it.
To me, this is about my art brand and building this long term. So my vision for Trencher is to
grow him and the world within crypto and beyond crypto. And within crypto, I want him to become one of the most
recognized character IPs in crypto of all time. Outside of crypto, I want to grow him in a way
that's like really normie friendly. So I'm working a lot behind the scenes on branding and
storytelling, narrative building, and then like I said, evolving Trencher into 3D to make him more like palatable
I guess for Instagram and TikTok I want to make some like viral TikTok content and jump on TikTok
trends so right now I'm working on a bunch of like 3D content to get Trencher ready for his
Instagram and TikTok debut.
So yeah, that's what I've been working on. That's a little backstory of Trencher.
And I was really excited when Jesse first approached me a couple months ago about wanting to bridge Trencher to base and have Trencher be a part of this launch day. I feel really honored
to be a part of it. And I took the decision to bridge
really seriously. I wanted to make sure that this was a good fit for Trencher.
With everything I do, I like to do max research. So I met with the base team. I video chatted with
them. I chatted with multiple liquidity providers. I had multiple meetings with
people from base with Jesse. And I've, I talked to as many people who have already bridged to base
as I could. And every project that I spoke to like USDUC, which is also a pump fund token,
and they bridged back in July. I talked to Mog, I talked to Sproto Gremlins,
and everyone who had bridged to base all said that the experience was excellent. They said that
their volume increased, their holders increased, their engagement increased,
and that Jesse and base had been really supportive in pushing their tokens.
And I kind of like went through to see what all of those tokens like what their
announcement was like what their engagement was like what was the level of support that
Jesse and base were giving them and it all it just like looked really great to me um
I and I spoke to a bunch of other project leads on Solana who haven't bridged yet to see if they were considering
bridging themselves. And like literally everyone that I talked to was so excited about it. I didn't
talk to a single person who was against bridging. Everyone said that it sounded like this would be
a really good fit. So during my talks, I was connected with the Flaunch team who they've built a simple bridging app and their app will allow me to also
get creator fees for Trencher on the base side. So I'm working with Flaunch on the bridge and
getting ready for Trencher to go live. I can't say when exactly it's going to happen. We're
working on some backend stuff right now, but it's going to be very, very, very soon.
So yeah, so huge shout-out to Base and Flaunch, especially to Jesse, to Tony, to Nobi, to Caps,
to all the people who were providing support to me over the past month.
So now you guys know why I've been so busy, why I've been saying I'm so busy,
because I've been working really hard behind the scenes on this. And this doesn't even include all of the other stuff I already was working on behind the scenes that I haven't released yet. So it's just been wild, so crazy
busy. So, okay. So Trencher is bridging. What does this mean for Trencher? Does this change anything?
change anything. So Base has built a Base Solana bridge, which means that now Base apps are able
to support Solana assets. And you can trade assets across the two chains to tap into both
ecosystems. So for Solana Trencher holders who are listening and are like, what does this mean
for my Solana Trencher tokens? This changes't, this changes nothing. Like it doesn't affect you. The only thing it changes is that now
the token is going to have a lot more eyes on it and new holders and new volume, which
benefits everyone. So you can continue trading on Solana as usual, the same way you are right now,
if you prefer that, or you could bridge to base and trade
on base when it goes live, or you could go back and forth and trade on both or whatever. If you
change your mind, you can go back and forth. So it's the same token. It's just tradable on both
base and Solana. The biggest benefit with bridging is the support that Trencher is now going to receive and is receiving from Base and Coinbase.
So they prioritize tokens on Base, and now that Trencher is on Base, it's exposed to all of these apps and services.
And it's going to be tradable in the Base app, and it will be tradable on Coinbase.

and i agreed that trencher is a really good fit for base because it's a creator coin and an art
coin and it sort of fits into everything that base has been working to do in terms of creator
economies um and it's also i think like i like to think that Trencher is like a wholesome
coin. So I think it's a good fit for base. So yeah, so this is another reason why I've been
spending so much time behind the scenes getting Trencher ready for Instagram and TikTok, because
like these are all steps that I'm taking to make Trencher more appealing to retail now that it will be more available to retail on base
and Coinbase. So yeah, so from my perspective, there's no downside to this, like from what I'm
seeing. It benefits the holders on Solana and it will benefit the new holders on base. So again,
massive thank you to the base team and to the Flaunch team for helping me with
this. I'm so grateful. And to all of the new Trencher holders, welcome to Trencher. Trencher
is about grinding for a better life for yourself. And that means something different to everyone in
crypto, but for me, it's through my art. So I'm grinding on daily content, whether it's cartoons,
animations, live streams, or I do these like sort of like thesis blog style posts. I'm super active

the bridge for you guys in case anyone was confused about what it means. But yeah,
it just means it's the same token tradable on base and Solana now um so stay tuned for uh the announcement post for when the
bridge is going live and once i make that post it will be live for trading on base and you could
trade on base and solana or base or solana whichever you prefer um yeah so thanks everyone
