Thank you. Oh Thank you. I'm going to go to the next video. Music Thank you. Music Thank you. Music All right, welcome everyone, welcome. I hope that you can all hear me okay. If you can hear me,
give me a thumbs up. But I am Grizzle, the artist of Trencher. And since so many new people are
here today and a lot of new people from base that I could see, I'm going to start just by
introducing myself and give a little recap of the
Trencher lore because it is a very unique backstory compared to other tokens because I did not launch
Trencher. So in April of this year, one of my illustrations went viral and a serial deployer tokenized it on pump fun uh in the middle of the
night at like 3 a.m while i was sleeping and i woke up to the token above 1 million market cap
with over 5 000 holders and i went from a tiny art account to having over 10 000 followers overnight
10,000 followers overnight and so much attention on me and so many derivative tokens. And I spent
the whole day talking to friends and advisors. Luckily, I've been in crypto for years, so I am
well-connected and I have a lot of connections that are just very smart people. So I spent a
lot of time throughout the day making the decision about
whether or not I should endorse the token. And I ended up putting out a statement back in April
saying that I would embrace the community and continue making art with this character,
the Trencher character. And at that time, creator fees didn't exist yet. A few people were doing
creator fees, but PumpFun was not doing creator fees at that time. So when I put out my statement
about the token, I thought the dev was like out clean because he had already sold. And I, you know,
I was like, oh, this isn't going to be any issue. But then a couple of weeks later, PumpFun introduced
the creator fees and they were not going to
They were going to the guy who stole my art.
So he ended up making over $86,000 just on creator fees alone off of my art while I was
But still, I kept continuing to make daily content for Trencher and pushing forward and
building connections and making partnerships and all at the same time
advocating for PumpFun to make changes to the creator fee system, which they eventually did
months later. And I was the very first person on PumpFun to receive that creator fee takeover.
So now the creator fees do go to me. And I am super grateful to that for, for that. Um, so since then, um, I have registered
the character as copyrighted IP. I have created over 700 pieces of art. I've launched an animated
series. I work with some animators. I host weekly live streams and I've collaborated with a bunch of
other creators and artists. I've also been featured by PumpFun,
Hourbit, OpenSea, Moonshot, BitGet, Radium, and now Base. So my vision for Trencher is to grow within crypto and beyond crypto. In crypto, I want him to be one of the most recognized characters.
And when I started drawing my daily comics before the token ever
existed, you know, I was just making art for the sake of it, like not to make money off of it.
I would make these daily comics just to capture the news of the day or the vibe of the timeline
with my like silly characters, sort of like bold Leonidasidas does but I have a different style than
him and a different sense of humor and that's what I still do and I and I will continue to do
I like to make content around like whatever's going on in crypto because there's always something
going on here and outside of crypto I want to grow my characters in a way that is more like
normie friendly so I've been working on branding and storytelling
as well as evolving Trencher into 3D
because I think that 3D content
tends to translate better on TikTok and Reels
to make like more viral worthy content.
And I have a very specific vision
of like what I want it to look like
in terms of being able to go viral on TikTok.
So if you were in my live stream the other day, you got to see a first look at the finished 3D
character. It's almost done. Well, the model is done, but I just have to finish rigging
him so that he could start to be animated. So I'm working on the rigging right now.
But yeah, I've been working on a ton. That's like a little recap,
but I know that most of you are here, or probably all of you, are here to hear about the bridge.
So let's talk about the bridge. So a couple months ago, Jesse reached out to me and asked
if I would be interested in Trencher being a part of their bridge launch day. And we had some
conversations. I had a video call with the base team. I had a bunch of their bridge launch day. And we had some conversations. I had a video call with
the base team. I had a bunch of conversations with the team. You have to keep in mind, I'm an artist
and I do understand like a bit of like the tokenomics and the tech side, the dev side
of tokens, but not, it's not my area of extra expertise. Like I'm here for the art. So I really, you know, they were very patient with me in explaining everything.
I asked them to explain it so many times.
I just really wanted to understand the mechanics of how this would work to make sure it's a good fit for Trencher.
And they're super into Trencher and really excited about it, the base team is.
trencher and really excited about it, the base team is. And I think it sort of checks all of
their boxes and it fits into everything that base has been working on in terms of being more
creator-centric and really wanting to support creators on their platform. And yeah, it just
sort of like fits the vision of what base is building. And I think it fits into the type of content that the base audience is into.
So, you know, I didn't create Trencher, but in a way it is a creator coin because it's fueled by the continuous content that I'm putting out with this character.
by the continuous content that I'm putting out with this character.
It's like, it's, the token is like fueled by my constant new art that I'm putting out.
So in a way, it is a creator coin and it's an art coin.
And Trencher is an original character that I created.
The IP is secured, so there's no legal issues.
And I also like to, I like to think that Trenter is like a little bit more wholesome
compared to like some of the more like almost like schizo meme coins on Solana. So I think it
just kind of fits into like what their vision is. If you missed it, I made an announcement a few
days ago that BASE also awarded me with a BASE Builder grant that will be going into the entire,
all of those funds will be going into the LP on the base side, the liquidity pool, as soon as the
grant is processed. So yeah, so I took the decision to bridge very seriously. I met, like I said,
with the base team. I chatted with multiple liquidity providers.
And I also chatted with people outside of base and with people on Solana.
I tried to talk to as many people as I could to get a really well-rounded opinion of if this was a good fit.
So I talked to a lot of projects that have already bridged to base.
Um, like for example, Mog bridged to base last year and Sprodo Gremlins bridged, I think
in January or, uh, a year around a year ago and USDUC on Unstablecoin, which is also a
They bridged to base back in July.
Because bridging is not new. It's always been a thing. So yeah, all the projects that I spoke to
who had bridged to base all said that the experience was excellent and positive across
every metric. They said that the volume increase, holders increase, engagement increase, and that
Jesse and base had been really supportive in pushing their tokens. So I've seen some like
dialogue on the timeline of like, well, oh, well, what if the bridge hurts Solana? Or like,
what does this mean for Solana? And we don't, we don't even have to say what if, because this isn't
like an experimental mystery. this isn't like a new
groundbreaking thing that i'm the first person who's doing it uh bridging has always been a
thing there are so many tokens that are available on multiple chains a lot of the top tokens are
available to be traded on multiple chains um so like just as one example, we can look at USDUC, I think just
because it's most similar to Trencher. It's also like one of the top pump fund tokens. It's also
on Solana. It was launched around the same time as Trencher. So like we can look at USDUC and they
bridged to base back in July and the bridge increased their volume, which in turn increased their market cap.
And then so that volume also went up on the Solana side as well.
So like whenever a token is getting more attention and more people are talking about it, it's naturally going to have like continued momentum, which will benefit both sides.
which will benefit both sides. And so yeah, USDUC was successful in their bridge, and they
continued to have a good relationship with PumpFun even after they bridged. They were one of the
first projects who received a PumpFun grant alongside Trencher. I also received a grant
from PumpFun. So yeah, so the bridge didn't, didn't like hurt their relationships on the Solana side and it didn't hurt the token on the Solana side in any way.
Um, so during my talks with base, I was connected with Flaunch, um, and also, uh, wireless who, uh, I'm not sure if you guys are familiar with wireless, but she's a close friend of mine and she's an advisor for Trencher and she knows the team behind Flaunch. So she also was able to vouch for them
for me. And yeah, so Flaunch built a really easy to use app for creators who want to bridge their
coins. And the app also allows me to get creator fees on the base side, similarly to how I get creator fees on the
pump fund side. So Flaunch was really helpful and again, so patient with me and explaining
everything so many times and just setting everything up and also seeding the liquidity
pool. So huge thank you to Flaunch, to No, and Caps for walking me through every single step of
this entire process. So okay, so how does the bridge work? So BASE built this Solana-BASE
bridge, and what that means is that now BASE is able to support Solana assets. So you could trade the assets across both chains. So what does that mean for Trencher? It basically means, sorry if you could hear my French bulldog, she's like snorting.
on Solana or you could buy Trenter on base. If you're on Solana and you prefer Solana,
you don't have to do anything. You don't have to bridge your tokens. You can just keep trading as
normal and it won't affect you. Nothing is going to change. It's the same token. There's no
additional supply. It's just like people can bridge their tokens up in, you know, their portion of supply over to base to trade on base if they
prefer using base. And you can bridge back and forth. You know, you can, you don't have to like,
once you bridge to base, you don't have to stay there. Or if you're on base and you bridge to
Solana, you don't have to stay there. You can go back and forth and you could trade on the different
liquidity pools or you could trade where the volume is higher that specific day, or you could just hold as you normally do and not do anything. It just depends on your trading style
and what you prefer. So really, it just makes it so that Trencher is available to more people.
The biggest benefit to this, in my opinion, is that from my perspective as a creator,
is that it grows the audience and it grows what
I'm able to do with Trencher because it grows my network and my connections. So like the same way
that I have all of these partnerships that I've built on Solana and all of these collaborations
I've been able to do on Solana with different apps and different platforms on Solana. Now I will be able to do that on base
and to be able to partner with people on base. So it just, it really, it really grows like the
network. And now Trencher will have exposure to base and Coinbase. It's trading now in the base app and it's live for
trading on Coinbase as well. And they prioritize tokens on base. So yeah, it just really opens up
what I'm able to do in terms of growing Trencher. It doesn't cancel out what I'm doing on Solana and all of the connections and relationships
I've built on Solana. Like neither cancels, neither side cancels the other out. They both
exist at the same time and I can continue to grow the network and partnerships and collaborations
on Solana while also now being able to grow my network and collaborations and partnerships on base. So it
really just expands the world and the audience base. So Trencher is officially bridged. So to
all of the new base holders, if there's any holders in here, welcome to Trencher. Welcome to the
trenches. Like I said, if you missed the beginning, I'm Grizzle. I'm the artist. My focus is very much on art and the brand and just creating fun,
like entertaining content. I just want to create content that's, that entertains people.
I post new content almost every day, unless I'm like doing, like, you know, doing this bridge.
I've been so much, I've been really busy, but pretty much every day I post new content.
And I also live stream almost every Tuesday night
to like hang out with the community. I do live art or I'll talk about the market or whatever. I do a
bunch of things in the live streams just to like, they're very chill little spaces. So if you're new
to Trencher and you're interested in learning more about Trencher, I recommend checking out the website. There's an interview that I did with OpenSea on there. And then there's also a podcast
that I did with the wise men that's now on Spotify also and on Apple. So some things to look forward
to coming up are the debut, the official debut of the 3D Trencher character. So right now I do have a lot of 3D animations and content.
And those are done by either Tuku or Orly.
I work with the two of them right now.
So they're doing all of my 3D content for me in the meantime
while I work on finishing my own,
like the official Trencher 3D model
that I've been building in Blender.
Like no AI, just completely
built a model from by hand. And that is going to be the Trencher that's going to be on Instagram
and TikTok. So very soon that will go live. The Instagram will go live. The TikTok will go live.
And also I've been doing five weeks of community challenges. So PumpFun awarded me with a $10,000 grant to distribute to the community.
So anyone can participate in the challenges, the weekly challenges that I'm doing.
But you do need, it is a PumpFun grant.
So you do need a Solana wallet with Trencher in that wallet to be able to win the prizes.
And they're big prizes. They're huge prizes, like hundreds
of dollars for multiple winners every week. We just finished week one, so there's like four
more weeks left. So you could check my posts for the most recent challenge that I posted,
and if you want to participate in the challenge, you can. So yeah, I've got a lot going on.
You could just check out my profile to see what I've been up to.
And if you're just joining, this space was recorded.
So if you missed the beginning, you could listen to it.
But yeah, that's pretty much what's going on with the bridge.
Again, welcome to all of the new trenchers.
And thank you to BASE and to Flaunch for making this happen.
This is just one another step in growing the trencher audience and I'm super excited.
So sending much love to you all and I'll see you on the timeline.
