hello hello
Welcome to the space.
We're just getting set up here.
Give us a few more minutes to sort of get positioned.
Appreciate you.
Welcome to the space.
How do I move you up?
I'm already up.
Transitioning to co-host and we'll be set to go.
All right.
We should be good now.
You hear me well, right, Max?
You sound great.
How have I sounded?
Pretty clear.
All right.
So let's quickly give it one minute or two for more people
I'm going to be sending some the tweet out as well
and pin some stuff maybe and we'll get started in like two
Sounds great.
Actually, we can also talk in the meantime while I do the stuff.
So let me know, man, how has your day been?
Day's been fantastic.
It's been a lovely, beautiful day down here in the Phoenix
It's 2 p.m.
In the afternoon, the weather is a nice like mid-70s.
It's in Fahrenheit.
So I'm going to guess it's comfortable with the sight of
Nice, nice.
And you got any snow over there now or not?
So if I look around at the mountains around me directly, no
snow in the foothills.
Although I believe if you go up way up like Flagstaff, you
might start hitting the snowman.
Yeah, it's been weird, man.
Like now, you know, I live in North Greece where normally
there is much more snow and more cold, obviously.
But right now, for example, they have no snow here.
It has been sunny and stuff.
And down in Athens, it has been like the weather is getting
worse and worse.
They're preparing, you know, for a snowstorm and stuff like
I don't know what is going on.
But yeah, looks like it's shifting like we
We are seeing snow rare, more rare and for shorter periods,
more extreme stuff.
But at least we did see, you know, like a few weeks ago,
some snow could take the kids to play around and stuff.
So that was nice.
That's nice, man.
I do miss the snow.
Keep in mind, Phoenix hasn't had recorded snowfall in over
50 years.
Oh, so how long do you have to drive, you know, to get
somewhere with snow?
In the winter, you can drive about an hour and a half north
and you start getting into Prescott and that's like the
foothills and it's beautiful out there.
I mean, if you like, if you like seasons, you definitely
get them up there.
But we're done here in the Valley.
We just, I think, what is it?
Maybe 20-30 days out of the year.
It's it's raining.
That's it.
All right.
I see some people joining already.
Welcome everybody.
Welcome Tuesday, Tuesday.
This week a community call.
So this is all about, you know, you Tezos and the stage is
always open.
If any of you want to jump up and just chat, ask questions
or talk about Tezos, feel free to request.
Otherwise, you can also post, you know, your questions down
in the comments.
But yeah, so today, as you can see, I have a new co-host
with me, Blanks.
You might know him.
He has been Tezos like forever, maybe even longer than me.
So really good to have him.
He will probably be around from now on.
So yeah, welcome Blanks.
Pleasure to be here.
Thank you for the opportunity and it's always been a joy
to sit in these spaces.
It's an honor to sit up here at the head.
Oh, for sure, man.
I mean, you know, we appreciate you a lot.
So plenty of stuff happening, you know, around the ecosystem.
We just recently had the five millionth block.
I think I said it right.
Just five millionth.
Yeah, that's correct.
Yeah, five millionth block in Sunday morning for me Saturday
night for you, I think.
So five million blocks produced on Tezos already, which is crazy
and we were discussing, you know, like it took about three
years to do the first one and a half million blocks and the
last one and a half 1.7.
Actually, it was only three hundred days because you know,
the block time was reduced.
So goes to show the evolution that the protocol has gone
through, which is pretty, pretty crazy.
Pretty, pretty fantastic.
And with what I said on 10 seconds soon, too.
Yeah, I mean, I heard somewhere.
I don't know why I read it.
I think somewhere I heard it that they might be even planning,
you know, to to introduce it in the P upgrade like the next
So if that happens, that would be really, really good.
But they said that they want to do it in 2024.
So it's going to come anyway.
Yeah, there's a lot of stuff planned.
I mean, there's a lot of infra and back-end stuff that needed
to be laid down so that we could move like this.
For sure, for sure.
Well, Parax, Paraxeno, Parazeno.
There we go.
Parazeno.
I'm sorry.
I probably just murdered you.
I apologize.
Welcome to the stage.
I saw you regretting.
How are you?
How's it going?
I'm okay.
Glad to be here.
Glad to hear you and meet you.
Hello, Kryptonio.
How are you, Kristina?
And everyone.
I'm fine freezing with ice.
You're down in Athens, right?
We have ice rain, no snow.
But ice rain, it's like small hail.
That sounds terrible.
It is kind of creepy, but it's like winter.
I missed winter.
Now, does it freeze like really beautifully on the top of
your car, at least?
Yes, it does.
Last night it was.
I don't know.
Today is a little worse.
Not sure what we see tomorrow.
We might get some snow as well, but we'll see.
We'll see.
Now, does that just mean it's been really cold where you're
at lately?
Yeah, it's close to zero, close to the freezing point.
Zero Celsius.
Celsius, yeah.
Yeah, that's cold.
I don't know what to do with myself.
Once it drops to that level, I really don't know what to do.
It's been a while.
I do hug the cat, cuddle under the covers and watch TV
or do minimum stuff.
That doesn't sound that bad.
I mean, no, no, no, it's okay.
Yeah, it's okay.
It sounds like you're making the absolute best of it.
That's for sure.
When wife gives us lemons, we do lemonade.
Or you sell them back to the world too, right?
You can always do that.
You just return to sender.
Actually, I do sell my lemonade.
And my beater up jams, you know, I make jams with sour fruits,
orangies, beater, orangies, grapefruits and lemons and stuff.
And I sell that stuff.
Have you tokenized those on object yet?
Yeah, no, no.
I might do, I might do because you know, the vases, the vases
I put them in, they're pretty fancy and they would look some,
I could make some pretty NFTs out of them.
Welcome to the stage, Ash Brown.
I just want to say hi there.
I said, I had you up here.
I hope you're having a great day.
Thanks for joining us.
Welcome, Ash Brown.
Yeah, thanks for having me.
The Angel question.
Have you made an NFT of that yet though?
Because if so, if not, it doesn't really exist.
Yeah, thanks.
Thanks for having me.
Good to be here.
Good to talk to you again.
Good to have Tony though.
Long time no talk.
Tony's meeting and then jumped right back in here.
So yeah, having a good morning so far.
Yeah, and I see more people joining.
So just to remind, it's an open stage, guys.
It's community call today.
So yeah, feel free to jump up and, you know, chat with us.
No specific agenda or topics tonight.
We just talk anything you got going on about Tezos if you
have any questions or anything.
So yeah, let's have a nice, nice space.
We'll be going for at least another hour, I think.
But excellent.
Welcome to the stage, Ryan.
Okay, let's go back to Perzino though.
I'm just going to say hi to Ryan.
Thanks for coming on.
Perzino, you definitely were in the middle of there before a
catch-off.
I apologize.
No, no, it's one question I have.
Maybe Kryptonio will explain to me later if we don't get a
chance in this space.
What's the Tetherlink, I've seen people write.
So Etherlink or Tetherlink?
Etherlink.
Etherlink is, yeah, I could explain it probably not in too much
I got a pretty simplified version of the Etherlink if you
want me to go through it.
I kind of, yeah, go ahead.
I was asking myself some simple time.
Go ahead.
Let me see here.
Where is it?
All right, I just wrote this down.
Don't you love when you write notes and then you can't find
Yeah, now it's hidden in me.
Oh, here we go.
Here we go.
Etherlink.
Okay, so it's a new project that lets Tetherth work with apps
made for Ethereum.
So this is like making an Android app working on my iPhone.
Does that make sense?
Kind of, yeah, go on.
Okay, so the reason why this is exciting is it means more
people who use Ethereum can now use Tezos without learning
something new.
It's like using a new app that feels really familiar.
They can just plug their MetaMask right into Tezos basically.
That's good.
That's good.
Like what object had on previous version that people could
buy tokens with Ethereum.
It's quite different.
There needs to be some small clarification there.
So Etherlink, first of all, is going to be a roll-up on Tezos
and like it's an unchained thing.
Like in general, how I described is what it's going to be
accomplishing.
Yeah, the purpose is exactly that now you will basically
have a network, Etherlink, where people will be able to
deploy smart contracts and use wallets that are integrated
with EVM.
You know that can use EVM, EVM is the Ethereum virtual machine.
So like MetaMask, for example, or some projects that are already
launched on Ethereum could very easily with the same code be
deployed on Etherlink.
Now deploying something on Etherlink, we should clarify, is
not the same as deploying on Tezos because Etherlink is a
It's like roll-ups are taking some of the computation out.
I don't want to get too technical of the main chain.
So it's basically you need to bridge from Tezos down to the
roll-up, which is very easy.
But the important thing is that anyone can deploy stuff from
Ethereum on the roll-up and have the security of the Tezos
network because roll-ups in Tezos are not a multi-sig smart
contract.
They are enshrined, which means that they have the security of
the main chain.
So as Blanc said, the main point is that now everyone, all
the Solidity developers, all the tools that are available for
Ethereum for another EVM chains can easily integrate Etherlink,
which is basically on Tezos and without having, you know, and
still keeping the decentralization of Tezos and stuff, they
will have some even more specific benefits.
Let's say like they will have a centralized sequencer.
It will be a distributed one, which means that there is not
one entity that can censor your transactions and stuff like
that. So it has some benefits in that sense.
But yeah, the main point is that anyone will be able now to
deploy EVM stuff and use EVM stuff with Etherlink.
Does that make sense?
That is great.
Yes, it makes sense.
And I think it's something that we could embed on Teztones, things
which easily it would help.
For sure.
Like, but the thing is that there you would need to start working
with a different language, for example.
Right now, for example, I don't know, your devs are using a
specific programming language, which is suitable for Tezos L1.
But on Etherlink, you basically need to code in Solidity or
Viper or the other languages that Ethereum is using.
I will ask for more info from you.
You will send me one.
The good thing is that we can, you know, that way we can bring
people from the EVM land, as I like to call it, into Tezos with
that way, much easier to bridge and stuff.
That's great.
All right.
So, Hashbrown, Ryan, I don't know, I think Hashbrown came first.
Yeah, Hashbrown, what did you have on your mind, my man?
Thanks for coming out.
Oh, I'm just coming up to say, hey, yeah, let's welcome Ryan up.
Hello, can you hear me?
Okay, awesome.
Hey, Hashbrown, we've known each other for a long time.
So, even before Tezos, and nice to see you around here.
I do have a short announcement to make, which is why I'm here,
but, so you might have heard that typed dot art went down.
The tech, I don't know what's happening with that, but at
least from what I've seen, it doesn't seem like they're going
to continue it.
So, I wanted, you know, it's such a shame because I do think
they had a pretty vibrant community, you know, it's not
not very flashy, right, but there were people using it and
posting all the time and it would show up in my app, the
Teia Cafe app that I'm currently working on.
So, I'm working on a proposal right now for the Teia Dao,
where I want them to continue, basically give support for
text mints and actually Hashbrown, you might be interested
in this too.
And because while I added, why don't we give support for MIDI
files, which was something I've been pushing for for like
over a year.
So, I just decided to bite the bullet and so the idea is
that we're going to propose for Teia to basically support
text mints similar to type and also support MIDI files
because that's something I want to serve even in my Teia
Cafe project, which is really, really reliant on like Teia
and Object.com's NFTs right now.
So, I'm going to fund this project because it's going to
take a little bit of work.
Most of it is like UI front-end stuff.
I talked to the devs already and they say it looks doable.
We just need someone to do it.
So, currently we're looking for candidates who might be
willing to do this and this is a paid gig.
You get paid through the DAO.
So, specifically what type of devs would you need?
What type of services like front-end devs for UI?
Mostly it's front-end, but it'll help a lot if they're somewhat
familiar with the way the minting process works.
Is there an official announcement that we could pin
here in the States?
Not right now.
I don't I would prefer to find someone who's familiar with
the ecosystem.
I don't want to find some random person because it's a
little bit like you shouldn't have to make any big changes
to the contract itself.
So, I don't think you have to mess with the smart contract,
but we do have to make the site compatible because you know,
like when you go on the minting page, it's like a lot of
details need to be figured out.
So, yeah, so I just like if you know anyone or if anyone's
interested, please DM me and because I have to get a
estimate of how much time and labor is going to take before
I propose it.
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, we've done a few things here and there, but we made
some important decisions, but most of it is internal, you
know, like recently, like where do we allocate
treasury to which Delegator?
So, so this would be the first one where you basically
funds external services in a way.
Yeah, so the way it's going to work is that I'm going to
make the proposal.
It'll be a cost estimate and assuming it gets approved,
then I will put in the money into the treasury with the
understanding that that money is going to be used for this
So, so it works to my advantage.
You know, it might seem like a little bit like charity, but
but it's actually works to my advantage because I need I
need to be able to showcase novel ideas in the Tesla's blockchain
if that makes sense and I do think text and the MIDI thing
especially I've been obsessed for a long time.
So definitely need that in the space.
Yeah, and then, you know, just like boop boop, you know,
fun fun little sounds, but but it should be doable, you
know, so so that, you know, so if anyone, if you know anyone
and and everything get a reasonable quote, then that'd
be great and I'll get the ball rolling.
So I just did I'm just doing this like semi, you know,
this is public, but I'm not gonna show the document just
yet. I wanted to ask around first.
So yeah, that's fair and I hope you have your DMS open for
everyone, right?
Yeah, I do.
So so if you know anyone who might be interested, please
send send them my way.
You heard him and although maybe we don't have anyone
down in the audience that might be available.
Maybe somebody from the from the recording will listen to
or maybe you have some friends.
Yeah, and this is a this is kind of like I'm hoping, you
know, maybe like we've been talking to each other about
the Dow for a while and it's new and we're trying to still
figure out like how and what will be used for but I think
we kind of realize like, you know, a lot of the core members
have been very active there for a while.
We have to kind of like set the example, you know, of like
what sorts of things can be done through this.
So this is like a first step towards that as well.
So for sure.
All right.
Thanks for sharing that and announcing it and also thank
you for joining us up on stage.
You've been here.
Thank you Ryan so much and everything you do so much.
What else?
I didn't see the hash brown hash brown.
His hand was up first.
He snaked the Arizona.
I saw it.
Yeah, I know right before I was so lucky to take that.
So Ryan AA good to good to see you around these parts.
I'm I just kind of on a really nerdy level.
What's the MIDI how exactly would that work?
Does it does it read audio from a specific repository or
would it just be the MIDI files themselves?
Would there be audio tied into that?
Would there be like a little player or how?
So I hear musicians say you know, so it's just that I think
the way I'm conceptualizing it because because I did talk
about this about a year ago with some of the devs but it
got hung out.
They got hung up for that reason that you just asked actually
like how are we going to render it?
So I think what we're going to do really is just treated similar
to like mp3s and waves and but where there is going to be a
default General MIDI.
Like we're just going to pick one very very common package
and that makes sense.
Yeah, so yeah, I was recently talking to someone Johnny
Waster I think it was about like on ordinals because they're
talking about like inscribing, you know, very basic like
chiptune 8 kilo like 8-bit super tiny kilobyte files and then
they were saying that from there you could do a recursive
call to like call those specific ones.
So it almost be kind of cool if you just turned it into like
a chiptune variety thing.
That's what I'm thinking.
Yeah, because I mean it used to be I don't know about now
maybe not as much but used to be like MIDI had had like a
really cult like following like back in the day, you know,
because I remember there was this is in LA actually but
there was a little in the art space that that did karaoke
nights with MIDI and it would just do it every weekend
and then people will come and know this sing along to their
favorite songs and it's all MIDI, right?
It's all like yeah, but but it's fun, right?
And I'm thinking like this might help with getting musicians
interested in minting again because you know, it has slowed
down quite a bit at least on teah and object is a lot of
the musicians that used to be active.
They're kind of busy doing other things now, but most musicians
I know have MIDI files sitting around because it's part of
their work, right?
And yeah, why not?
Yeah, like why not?
So yeah, I love it.
And yeah, and even those like those little 8-bit sounds
like they they're all you need, you know, good little kick
is if you put the time into it, if you put the time into it
it can you can make a song good, you know,
well, you do some of my favorite beats are those like
Yeah, yeah.
So like a gaming, if this is like a gaming thing, right?
It would be like the 8-bit or like 16-bit kind of aesthetic
right that just does for music.
So it is though, it's literally 8-bit sounds and stuff like
it's where we are the same visuals and audio artists in
this one and I thought it might be just fun, you know,
there's something fun.
But I think I think we need stuff like that right now
make a system.
So yeah, and so yeah, I mean, please I want to get this done
because yeah, I have like some MIDI files on my own that
I want to make so.
Yeah, yeah.
Thanks for clarifying.
Happy to nerd out on it.
If you ever want to just talk to someone else about that
kind of stuff and yeah, thanks for doing all the cool stuff
you do for the ecosystem.
So Ryan, there is no alternative right now like in the
ecosystem right now where to meet MIDI files right now
because it's too weird like, you know, because it's like
MIDI is okay.
If you don't know what MIDI is MIDI is the programming
language of digital music.
So it's basically just a sequence of notes and sound is
a sequence of commands basically you're like, okay,
play this note here play this note play this chord.
Is it basically a script for music?
It's like it's like how vectors and like how flash video
back in the day didn't require actual images.
It's just a vector saying go this way and terminate there.
Maybe there is programmatically tells things what to do
and then you plug in the instruments that then read that
and then make the sound so you don't need all the audio
files you just program rip that still is this the stuff
they threw into those and the music videos on YouTube
that were super popular with the really smooth marbles
bouncing off of drums and it and xylophones maybe that
You know what I'm talking about sure, but but I mean, oh
come on man.
This is like classic digital art.
This was some of the most amazing animations time.
You don't remember it was and then music and then music.
Wait, wait, wait, wait and then music everyone is good.
Right Microsoft made an actual real one that shot marbles
using like sensors and was ridiculous.
Oh, okay.
Now this this is a different one.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, but it runs off of middies.
It is a very high likelihood that it did use me maybe because
if you're doing anything with computers and music MIDI is
what is running everything.
Okay, okay.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, not totally.
So when most people listen to music they're used to mp3s
or you know, one of those compressed like audio formats,
but MIDI is like a very pure language of music and it has
advantage that you mentioned earlier about ordinals, right?
They're probably looking into that because the you can keep
the file very very very small.
So like one minute of music and mp3 is like one or two megs
usually but one minute of MIDI music is like probably less
than a kilobyte.
Yeah, yeah, okay.
So yeah, I mean, I mean think about like Super Nintendo,
But it had it had a has kind of fallen out of favor in recent
years because when I was looking into doing this project turns
out a lot of sound cards don't it has trouble rendering like
most sound cards used to have like onboard MIDI, right?
So in that sense, you could probably mean to those totally
on-chain as well.
If they are so small inside, right like you do with so it's
gonna work very similar to how Kia works already, which is
that it's just gonna point to an IPFS link with the MIDI file
So yeah, I was I was thinking that if you know, you have
want to meet a MIDI file, which is just a few kilobytes that
you could easily know means on-chain.
Yeah, I feel like it's related to the text thing too, right
because it's so small basic people can have fun with it,
you know, and who knows there might be some interesting
things that come out of it.
So yeah, interesting, interesting.
I wasn't aware at all.
Thank you for bringing that up.
Are you trying to like inscribing like an ordinal kind of like
writing on the actual data of as opposed to linking to another
yeah, that's what I was asking actually.
So like put it totally on-chain and then have some sort of
I don't know a way to see that on-chain and play it, you
know, or exactly and then you can build on top of it, which
is the more interesting part.
So someone could take a MIDI from an NFT and turn it into
animation, for example, right?
Yeah, you can do all kinds of stuff like endless possibilities.
Yeah, but it's good to brainstorm with this stuff.
You never know, you know, when the killer idea will come out
and it's yeah, it seems pretty apt for ta, you know, because
that's what we're known for.
So yeah, for sure.
You still have the biggest size available to me, right?
Yeah, we still have the two gigabyte thing.
If you so we're going extremes in both directions and
remember folks size matters.
Yeah, if you want to upload your two gigabyte JPEG then go
ahead, but it might have trouble loading.
If they are the artists, artists have did not know it.
You know, they don't think about that stuff, right?
Cuz I'm take FA were serving everything wrong.
So some people just like I gotta get them highest quality
picture for import to perpetuity, right?
And like, yeah, that's great.
But I'm at your your one picture just killed our site, you
know, so there's like a lot of those issues you have to work
out. I need to get a compression like a thumbnail thing at
some point that we're just starting out right now.
Yeah, just so it opens, you know, the full size too much on
the separate window or something if it is very raw in our
current version.
Yeah, that would be helpful for sure.
Well, gentlemen, I hate to interrupt, but Para has had her
Oh, yeah, please.
She did because if we could maybe maybe direct our attention.
Yeah, I just want to ask Ryan about the type card card.
Will it support a size as well or on the text?
The idea that is going to be yeah, that's why we need a good
dev because we need someone who cares about the details.
I wanted to basically do whatever type.
That's great.
Even more if there's I don't know what more you can do to
it. It was pretty nice.
I see some new faces in the room.
Ryan, could you once again, let everyone know what's going on
Welcome to the Tezos Commons community call where we invite
you up here to share.
Ryan is sharing what's going on.
Ryan, what's going on?
So hey, everyone.
So I'm doing sort of like an informal announcement, but I'm
working on a proposal with Teia and I want the site to support
text mints and MIDI file mints, which is a music format
that musicians are used to working with.
So I'm working on a proposal for the DAO right now and we
are looking for a front-end UI UX type of dev that might be
willing to work on it.
And this is a paid gig, but it has to go meet the approval
of the DAO first, but if someone's willing to do it, you
would get paid for your time.
And so if you're interested or know anyone who might be
interested, please have them DM me.
I haven't made an official announcement yet because I'm
trying to ask around people I know first.
So let's spread word of mouth folks.
If it's not you, you got to know somebody.
Let's find someone.
Yeah, let's make this happen.
That's the beauty of a tight-knit community like this.
So I just started the search like this week.
So and this is no rush, but I would like to get started.
Yeah, I'm sure you will find somebody like there is a lot
of talent, you know, roaming around the community.
So yeah, I do have like I have the like the requirements
and so we need a estimation, you know, like how much it costs
and the way it'll work is that we'll get an estimation.
We'll have your name on it.
We're going to send it through the proposal.
The DAO will vote on it.
If it gets approved, then we can start the work.
So awesome.
And you'll get paid through the Treasury.
And as we said, it's going to be the first like major proposal
for the DAO.
So that will be another test in a way.
Yeah, this is also an experiment.
Another milestone.
Yeah, cool, cool, cool.
So in the meantime, I have pinned up top like a few random tweets
from the Teles ecosystem.
First of all, there is the Missouri report that came out.
I don't know if anyone checked it out.
I didn't have the time to check it out yet.
But seeing the headlines, it is about Q4 of 2023 and seems pretty
positive like a lot of rising stats and numbers, which is promising
because I think 2024 will be even better.
I don't know, but like game isn't 2027 the year.
We're going to hit like $7 or $6 or something like that.
Or we're going to be dead.
One of those.
I think they even created a meme talking about it, right?
2027 coin on Tezos.
It's crazy.
I believe so.
Yeah, well, I'll be playing on 2028.
I'll be playing the Yovis song Tezos Endent.
I don't know if you heard it, but it's pretty cool.
Well, if it was on MIDI, we didn't know.
But it's on YouTube, I think.
It's also minted as well on Tezos.
So if I find it, I'll pin it up as well.
What else?
What else?
Have you noticed anything else in the ecosystem, guys, that you
are, I don't know, excited about or maybe you would like to discuss?
Yeah, Tara, what did you see?
I see you over there.
You've got something.
Well, I added it here.
I took the liberty.
There's a Tez for Palestine event up until the 20th of February.
It's a cause.
I think some people like Malicious Seed and other people from mostly
Teia community and Tezos community in general have started it and
put it together and I added it up there and about 2027.
I think it's the year that the Tez will be the alternative world coin.
Not the death of Tezos, as they say.
That's even for me and I'm biased 100%.
Yeah, but I hope you're right.
I hope you're right.
I'm right.
I know the craziest things I think of come true.
You'll be there to see it.
I hope so.
I really hope so.
I saw Malicious Seed requesting.
I think she's transitioning now.
They should be transitioning.
Yeah, Apple speakers.
Are you with us?
Hello, I am.
How are you today?
Hello, welcome to the stage.
Yeah, I just wanted to pipe in with the Tez for Pal initiative.
Any details in case anybody is unfamiliar.
It's organized by a loose group of Tezos folks.
We have raised, I believe, we're coming close to 3,000 if we haven't already
hit that today.
It looks like we're about 44 Tez off of 5,000, or 5,000.
Sorry, 3,000.
So that's very exciting for folks who want to get involved.
There is a tweet thread on art for Pal here on this app.
It has details about how to add a Intera, which is the organization
that we went with.
They have a Tezos wallet, thankfully.
They worked with...
Sorry to interrupt, Malicious.
Is the thread different than the one that Para has pinned up to?
Let me check.
Because it quotes a thread from the chat.
That one's good.
That one's good.
Okay, cool, cool.
Sorry, go ahead.
No problem.
Yeah, so Intera, the members who are organizing Tez for Pal,
also, not everybody, but some people from Tezquake Aid are working
on Tez for Pal, and so we had previous experience with Intera,
which is an emergency medical organization for conflict areas,
as well as a natural disaster.
And so they are hoping to raise $2 million for the project that
they're working on right now, which is evacuating children with
one or multiple amputations and or burns, complex needs to evacuate
them out and provide them with the care that they need and hook
them up with hospitals in the region that will be able to deal
with those complex cases, often multi-year surgeries.
And they're also providing mental health care to first responders
and to children.
So grief counseling, complex CPTSD counseling and resources
for that, and they will also, when a ceasefire is granted, they
will be bringing medical supplies in as well.
But currently they are on the other side of the Rafa border in a
field hospital and then doing a lot of logistics between neighboring
countries, hospitals for the specific care.
So yeah, we've worked with them before, so we were very pleased that
they were working on a project for this initiative.
And I think it's something that really is going to change a lot of
these kids' lives, obviously.
So if you are thinking of minting a piece, it goes from the minting
period for the event was January 20th, and it goes until February
20th. And when you do mint, make sure you're adding the inner address
as a beneficiary and not as a collaborator.
Otherwise, they will be forced to sign, and that's just a lot of extra
work that they don't need to be doing.
They should be concentrating on what they need to.
And make sure you add your Tez4PAL hashtag.
There is an event page as well, which is Tez4PAL.tea.art
and you can see the items that have been minted so far.
Yeah, any other questions?
I'm happy to answer.
We've been working on this for a while.
I was just going through the thread and basically in the thread,
you can find the Tez4PAL address for the organization where you can
direct the funds if you want to mint a piece about that.
As you said, it is until February 20th, right?
Otherwise, you can obviously buy some pieces that are minted for that
cause. And there is a hashtag that people can easily find those
pieces. The Tez4PAL.
Yep, Tez4PAL.
And it should be work both on object and Tea, I suppose.
Awesome, awesome.
And yeah, just been really pleased to see all of the community
support so far.
So you can mint something, you can buy, if you want to donate just
to the Tez address, like you don't, for some reason, you don't
want any of the beautiful art that has come from this.
Who knows?
You can donate Tez directly to that address.
We do ask that people do not send NFTs to that address.
And there is also, if you are looking to donate in fiat instead
of Tezos, Intera also has a donation portal on their website
as well. And you can find more information about them and the
program that they're working on right now on their website.
I don't know if I can allow curse words like that in this
Which one?
I can't say it.
It starts with an F.
Oh, I see, I see.
True, true.
I should smack my hand for that one.
No, it's fair.
It's only like the most commonly used currency in the world.
One day we will be free.
We can only help.
Yes, exactly.
Well, thank you much.
That's quite an undertaking and quite a responsibility of
shoulders.
So appreciate all that you're doing for all of these people.
So thank you so much.
Thank you so much for coming up on stage.
Of course.
I always love tuning in.
So I'm going to pop down unless anybody has any questions.
I can always pop back.
You can just stay around in case maybe somebody comes up
later and ask something.
No need to go down.
Again, thank you for sharing and for letting us know.
And maybe it's a good point to also remind to everybody
because I see new faces joining down in the audience that
it is a community call.
It's Tuesday, Tuesday, you know, we're here to chat anything
about Jesus what you have going on in general.
So feel free to request and come up and join the discussion
or share what you have going on.
We'll be going on for about 20 25 minutes more.
I think before we have to wrap up.
So yeah, welcome.
Welcome everybody.
With that Sarah, I see your hand up again.
I was going to ignore it, but I'm not.
I promise.
I want to say to myself safe.
I love your girl.
Thank you very much for what you're doing.
I love you too.
See, it's good you stayed up here.
This is true.
So I would like to point out that it is the two-year anniversary
for Autez.
Autez has been active in the community as a raging mascot
for many, many, many folks.
So wonderful PFP a fun wonderful NFT experience with mutations
and derivatives and it's been two strong years and still
going strong.
So here's a shout out for me and Kryptonio here to the Autez
Congratulations on two years for sure.
And honestly, I like I saw the you know the tweet about we
are now officially two years old and I was like shouldn't
that be one year old like was it type of but time actually
flies like we're in 2024 already and it's crazy how fast
times goes, you know, especially here in crypto land where
you got stuff happening like every week and in one month
you already have forgotten about some things that happened
and new stuff came out like so much information overload,
Gotta write it all down.
Don't forget it.
Yeah, that's a rule.
I have no as well.
I have to write everything.
Hash brown.
What's on your mind my man?
Yeah, I realized that I should probably talk about what we
have going on also with my project has known but perfect
segue actually can shout out Autez because they sponsored
our team team Indigo with a their mascot is an Autez created
piece by wombat and Yoshi's, you know, huge huge fan of and
part of that community and we have our finals coming up for
the last two teams.
It's been like a nine month or something season from the
preseason to now.
Test tones is a sports league for artists.
We made where we've paired up audio and visual artists.
Potto is actually the captain me and her were both captains
going to the semifinals and we both lost.
So now there's only two teams left.
It's a team Indigo and King cheetahs and yeah on February
10th, we're going to have our events.
We have the pieces minted soon and yeah, just just a shout
out to that test tones.com is our website or at test tones.
But yeah, shout out Autez two years is killing the game.
Eric go ahead.
I may add to what hashgram said and if I may pin it as well.
We do have an open call for artists.
We're giving out 50 Tezos.
We are not very rich yet, but we're doing some work on it to
make us the trophy for the first season final match a 3d
trophy. I will post it on the pin in case you have friends
that doing 3d things and are interested.
It's not much of a reward, but it's better than nothing.
So yeah, what do you mean?
It's not much.
It's the first it's the most prestigious.
It is the one that holds the candle to all others.
This is the most important one that has means little it will
be remembered as a piece because it will be the first trophy
of the first season of test tones and test tones going to
have a huge future.
Trust me.
Believe me like the Tezos will be the token of the world
parallel economy exactly like that.
Yeah, so it's not that it's not too much, but it depends on
how long you are going to hold it, right?
Well, did you pin it by the way because I don't see it yet.
Yes, I will.
So since we touched on that and because we might have, you
know, some people that are not very familiar, would you like
to give like a quick explanation of what this one is?
How people get can get involved?
So, you know, maybe some people will find it interesting
and want to join.
Yeah, thank you.
Also feel free to cut me off because once I start sometimes
I just like get excited and keep going.
So just literally just cut me off or mute me if you need to.
But yeah, test tones is you got it.
I'll mute you.
That's a little early.
But yeah, no you will.
I'm glad the folks who works good test run because you will
need that.
This is not a this is not a threat.
This is a promise.
Anyway, test tones is us just, you know, looking at I mean,
I've been in blockchain and music.
I mean Brian kind of mentioned that we've we met pre-tesos
like when we were doing some stuff on Ethereum and you know,
music coin meetups and we've seen we both seen many projects
rise and fall.
I had a crypto rap group we made in 2017.
I made a song called like Lambo land and we had some like
Oh, yeah, Lambos.
I remember people used to talk about Lamos.
Welcome to Lambo land.
Yeah, like we I got like we got flooded in New York.
And so bottom line been through a lot of stuff and and seen
a lot of like kind of flashes in the pan and kind of made
me realize like we need more, you know, like we need to build
something that's kind of longer lasting and culturally and
in the last few years, you know, I grew up a musician and
was kind of like, you know, sports is that and that's jocks
and we're like we're artists musicians over here and then
I've just randomly gotten into sports more the last few years
and I've like realized that there is this like communal
nature that even though it seems competitive.
There's this like camaraderie amongst these teams and people
say like, oh, you know, I missed the competition a little
but I missed the locker room and these people coming together
and it's it's that all of that and as a musician like I live
off-grid in the mountains sometimes in winter.
I would like wouldn't go now.
I have a job so I go to town every weekend, but I wouldn't
see people for like two or three weeks and I realized the
only time I really talked to people most time is when I
collaborate with them.
So like how can we build a structure?
How can we make teams?
How can we like build those kinds of things now for people?
So, you know, we created a sports league where we randomly
assigned like one visual and at least two audio artists to a
team and literally, you know, some of these people had never
met each other before.
A lot of us had never met each other before and it's, you
know, a challenge with time zones and different genres and
styles and all that stuff, but we've created like some amazing
like I didn't know Pada before this at all and now we like
we can't get rid of each other.
You know, we're like we if we tried and it's just created all
these friendships and stuff and and you know, like it's definitely
a turnoff for some people like even at first Pada wasn't super
into the competition side of it, but it's like it's the fact
also, you know, I'll just say right now the world by default.
I think we live in a physical realm when plants grow like one
plants roots is going to get the nutrients like there there
is competition by default in a physical realm.
So like instead of running from it and pretending like it's
not there to embrace it and be like, oh, we're going to kick
your ass this month or we're going to kick your butt this
match and then like have that in the air.
I think it it both makes it kind of more exciting for both
us as artists and then fans to watch it also, but it kind of
like man, how does the how does this go down?
Like give us like a fourth graders view of this sort of
like imagine me as an outsider.
Prepare like when you when you do a voting period how long
does it last how you decide you know go into some of those
details. We signed teams teams are at least three artists one
visual artists to audio artists.
We unassigned a theme for each match as a group.
We vote on it because everything we do is communal.
We've done color themes for everyone so far to keep it super
simple and then let people just go whatever direction they
want with that only requirement being that it's 2000 by 2000
pixels the end product because we then put that within one
frame that like we customize for each team, but kind of to
make it look like it's a like a communal project piece kind
of like sports cards in a sense.
We give the teams the four weeks to make it after they make
it we spend a week to mint it promote the pieces and then we
have a live match in the metaverse events and also during
that week we have voting live where we have a public vote
and in the past we've had some judges one of them being I
think wise, right?
I mean, it's been so long.
It seems like a year ago to go.
Yeah, so, you know, why is this down in the audience?
I look down and saw that I was like am I just like is this
a mirage?
Am I imagining this?
No, we've had Shoku Koblin wise flex.
I know I'm going to forget one.
Hey, wwxx mortal.
Yeah, Rubis Ko from yeah, but yeah, we're probably forgetting
one, but we've also had judges and and you know, we've had
a pure vote before and we're it's something we're trying
to figure out, you know, like what what is the system that
feels best and most just because if it is a competition,
we want us to all feel good about how it's being discovered.
So essentially, yeah, it's about a five-week process.
This season was four matches in the regular season than the
top two teams went on to the semi-finals from there.
We got eliminated and now there's two teams going on to
win the final prize pool and ideally next season.
We want to like really ramp it up and make the matches ideally
maybe like a live match where it's a few hours and we have
we have a bunch of ideas, but bottom line is we're very
live cooking session would be fun.
Dude, we yeah, but you know, it's not to not make you mute
me. We're very proud of what we've done so far.
It's been amazing.
We've had over I think we've got like 40 artists from 14
different countries.
We've made 53 pieces.
It's been an amazing ride super also happy that the season's
about to be done so we can rest a little and then plan in
the offseason and then get the next season started.
So yeah, any artists that wants to reach out to me or Tez
Tones, it's at Tez Tones is our Twitter.
We're doing our Discord and we'd love to bring as many people
on board because you know, a rising tide raises all ships.
I actually I didn't have to mute you while I pinned up top
of the mini documentary you also prepared for which was
really really great.
I told you before so yeah, people go check that documentary
out and you can also find the Tez Tones Twitter from
that's sweet.
This is Metaverse, right?
So could I dive in this with my breast and stuff?
Yeah, yeah, it's it dude.
It's crazy in quest.
Yeah live.tesstones.com will take you to the Metaverse
gallery that has all the pieces we've made this season and
if you go into spatial, I don't think you can type that in
directly in it.
But if you look up a Tez Tones Parthenon, it'll bring you
there or just type in Tez Tones and it'll come up.
You got it man.
And we had rubies from the Tezos community as well as a
judge and she was great the last match and WBX and so many
people have won all of this.
Who are the judges going to be for the final February 10th?
We don't know yet.
We're locking in a couple.
We're about to announce it.
We need to get our organization a little better to be honest.
But you know what we have.
We have I think two of the three locked in.
One of them had to cancel.
So we want to get the full lineup before we announce it.
Yeah, that's fair.
That's quite good so far and we're very close and we're
aiming high.
You want you want to imagine who we're planning to approach.
There's no other way to aim because everywhere else is
below that.
Yeah, exactly.
That's exciting guys.
These competitions are very very for those of you who have
never set up any tournaments or big events coordinating
even a group of six people is very difficult let alone 14
and having operations to push this thing bigger to scale
it is just awesome.
So this is this is great.
It reminds me of there was back in pre YouTube days.
There was a website called Channel 101.com to the computer
man come cute man.
I was more into the rock.
That was what got me in there, but you know anyway, so the
channel 101.com was they did these things from the Chinese
where it was a bunch of washed out TV producer director
actors and they produce shows five-minute long shows and
they'd have a competition and the one that was voted the
worst of this the night would be voted out and then a new
pilot could start and so that was how they would create
this sort of fresh influx of content.
It was really great.
So this just really reminds me of that.
This is solid beautiful work do thank you.
And I love Channel 101 and and C is four zero four D 14
would have been way easier by the end.
We had like 30 artists like with within the 19th but over
the whole season with a couple dropping out here and there.
Yeah, I know it was four D artists my mistake for D.
Yes, that's bordering on large like that goes from small
middle to large organization.
You're pushing like 40 the grumpy boss and it's like the
funniest thing ever cuz I'm usually like the the low-key
guy distracting everyone and it's like, you know, sometimes
I just got to step up and be grumpy which Pada helps with
so shout out our grumpy contingency.
It doesn't must be in the water.
It's actually a dream come true there.
I couldn't believe I would find myself in such a community
with people from all around the world it still can't believe
it and it's almost a question.
So when you do these events get minted somewhere.
Yeah, so the final the final pieces of each each submission
gets by each team get committed.
We've been doing it on object because you know, we can then
have our own collections separate, but I'm telling you
the the 2.5 gigabyte limits pretty tempting, but also then
we might shoot ourselves in the foot getting everyone like
sending us 30 gigabyte and total of stuff.
But yeah, we've been doing it on object and then
they have a link somewhere that it's been a while.
Okay, I'll check it out.
Yeah, it's been a while.
I know you've been busy, but
the open call for artists about the about the design for
your that as well.
So good for people to see and if you don't want to participate
go go share it guys.
There will definitely be some artists that want to you know,
give it a try or participate in that.
It's really cool.
Thanks guys appreciate it all and yeah, thanks for asking
that. Yeah, it's been a crazy whirlwind of a year, but you
know, I think it's been really really cool to see how much
people come together and the bonds of the form.
So, you know, just grateful to all the artists all the judges
everyone who's helped support it and stuff, you know onward
and upward.
I think we got a lot of we got like merch, you know, I just
got a CNC laser engraving machine.
So I'm literally making hats myself here.
We're about to get merch out to the world and player cards
and jerseys and like really try to, you know, realize this
this concept of like sports to it and make it something that
can can bridge from digital collectibles that people may
or may not want, you know, to like everyday fans to be like,
oh, I want to play our card and you know, they get that
value proposition.
So trying to you know, trying to take it to our community
and then bring it beyond us and you know, everyone helping
us do that's been been amazing.
So, you know, big big love to the community 100% like the
community is in the heart of all those initiatives and projects.
So I think it helps you touched on it, but I think it helps
you know that you still see some sort of competition between
the teams, although it doesn't get toxic, which is good,
but there is still a lot of healthy competition and this
makes it more fun like there's nothing wrong with healthy.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying like we shouldn't compete.
Oh, by the way, Aro, welcome to the stage.
Hi, everyone.
Hey, Rubisco, welcome.
Good evening.
I just wanted to say I truly love Deathstones.
I love those events.
They are much fun.
The songs are just awesome.
It's amazing how like they said people from around the world
with different backgrounds, different timings, different
ideas managed to pull out a full album each month.
It's just impressive and yeah, I got a lot of them on my playlist.
So it's not just something to look at once.
They are actually nice music to listen and yeah, I just wanted
to say congratulations to them and I'm really looking forward
for the final.
So I think it will be a blast and I also wanted to take the
time to because you mentioned Otis and their second anniversary
next week.
We'll host events with them.
They'll be our sponsor at TTC.
So we'll have a lot of prizes.
We'll do an AMA with the raft about their token about where
they're going through with the projects, the ideas for the
So we are all welcome.
I think it will be a lot of fun.
They are awesome.
Teiter is awesome.
He's a very active member and also I see Brazil Tezos here
all up on it and we started recently with an experiment with
Portuguese spaces me and terabytes terabit coins and this
week we'll do something different with the bunny Knights
project because Bruno is Portuguese is not very comfortable
doing a amazing English and yeah, I was unfortunately supposed
to do all the English runtime.
I'm also their community manager.
Oh, okay.
So I hope to see you Sunday.
We'll try a different model.
We'll do an AMA with Bruno about bunny Knights and about his
artwork in Portuguese.
So anyone here that understands and wants to participate.
It's more than welcome because as we do in English will also
keep the mic open for anyone wants to come up and share their
thoughts or their art or whatever they feel like.
So yeah, congratulations again.
Oh good job by the way getting Bruno out of the shell.
I don't know if you know how hard it is to get that guy to talk
to other people.
He is such a sweet guy.
He's so nice.
He's so timid and he's afraid his English is terrible.
And I feel so bad, but he's so smart and bright.
Yeah, he's a great guy.
So thank you for pulling him out of the shell.
He did this all without me knowing to which is beautiful.
I must give credit to rain.
She was the one that approached him and somehow convinced him.
But yeah, she doesn't speak Portuguese.
So I'll be the one with Tara hosting the spaces.
So I hope to see you there and maybe you can help me with some
questions since you know him better to try to to get a little
bit more from him.
But yeah, thank you all and thank you Krypton you again for
an awesome spaces.
Oh for sure.
I was going to ask you will the space be solely in Portuguese
or will also be part Portuguese part English?
We're not sure this is all new to us what I was thinking and
what I said in our announcements because I haven't treated
it yet is that if anyone has a question and don't speak Portuguese
they can leave it in our AMA channel at these courts or they
can tag the question on Twitter with TTC AMA and we'll ask
the question in Portuguese and then we'll pass the information
in English but if someone in the spaces wants to to use the
translation features and want to ask anything in English
we can translate during spaces to ask Bruno in Portuguese.
So yeah, everyone basically is welcome to join and we'll figure
out a way to accommodate everyone at spaces.
By the way, I also pinned the tweet up top for that with the
link for the space.
So those are the reminder and be there on Sunday while you're
chilling.
Yep, I think I got the right one.
All right.
So we've been going for a little bit over an hour now.
We will be soon wrapping up in like five minutes.
So I don't know if you guys want to share any final thoughts
any final comments.
I really appreciate you for joining me today and for coming
up and everybody down in the audience.
I see also why is Kevin just joined?
Oh man, like I could get you up and go for another two hours,
but easily if Kevin got up here, we wouldn't be close.
I see people down, you know, that we could get him get them
and we would go easily for another two three hours.
Like yeah, you're absolutely correct about that.
But don't worry about that because you know, we're here like every
It's really nice to see you guys, you know, coming back every
I do see you.
I appreciate you a lot.
So we are doing community calls like every two weeks and in
the weeks in between we usually have a guest but we open the
stage at the end as well.
So definitely join, ask questions, come chat with us.
We love that and it helps us as well, you know, to learn what's
going on in the community.
What you have going on and sharing those stuff.
So yeah, I'll just go around for some final comments in case
you have blanks.
You have anything to add before we wrap up?
It's just been an honor and a pleasure to be up here at the
the co-host seat with you.
My man, I appreciate the opportunity.
Tezos has been something that I have passionately worked on
as a part of my life for a very long time.
When you believe in something, I don't know, it doesn't really
matter kind of what you get out of it when you pump that
handle and I'm here to support all people who are willing to
help me pump this handle.
So just love everybody, love the community, can't believe
the amazing things that people are coming up with on their
own that are adding long-term and productive value, not
these weird strange esoteric pump-and-dump financial schemes.
I mean, they're there.
They're always going to be there.
That's crypto, but it's different here and I still love it.
I mean, for as long as I've been here, the attitude has really
never changed.
We are about as realist as it comes.
It might be good, but I can't make wide speaking judgments
for you folks.
I agree 100% I agree with you there.
Thanks for keeping this going every week.
You know, it's like that consistency is very valuable.
Thank you for joining, Ryan, and I love having you up, you
know, and yeah, we are here for anyone whenever you guys
want to, you know, share something or ask something.
I don't know, like I started out from the community as well,
you know, before even I worked for Tezos Commons and stuff
and there's nothing like the Tezos community for me.
This is what it is all about, you know, the community, you
basically.
So yeah, I want to keep doing that space for as long as we
can, you know, so we can have space where we can just talk
and connect without, you know, scripts without anything.
Like those community calls for me are the best thing.
I always have the most fun with the community calls because
we can openly talk for everything and yeah, I shouldn't
rant more, but I don't know any final thoughts.
What you said and Blanc said and yes, it's it's kind of
family in Tezos.
I've been pushed over and over to go on other blockchains,
but I can't fit in those communities.
And I don't know.
So yeah, I'm appreciative about that.
Yeah, yeah, it's it's just right.
Yeah, now with every family, we have that one black sheep
and I brought him up on stage Kevin.
Welcome to the stage.
We love you guys.
Congratulations.
Welcome Kevin.
Hi Kevin.
Wow, black sheep.
You know the origins of that term, don't you?
Well, my God, man, it's 2024.
Oh, no, I uncorked the bottle.
Oh my goodness.
I don't know.
Well, there will be a trial.
Well, you'll have your day.
Well, welcome to the page.
I mean, how are you?
Congratulations.
I hear there's good news on the horizon for certain entities
associated with one man named Kevin.
A lot to be thankful for and a lot still just you're always
thinking about that next thing, you know, like even it's
like great.
We're here now.
Let's do the next next step.
So yeah, testing of course has been the big launch for yeah,
past few years.
We've been working on it.
Our production launched the audited version came out just
a couple weeks ago.
So this is I just wanted to post this thing.
It's in the nest right now from the at tesos account.
We're going to be having a space on the on the at tesos finance
account where on Thursday with Michael Mendez who will be coming
in from the at tesos account of Trilla of Trilla Tech head of
DeFi Trilla Tech and member of the Technical Advisory Committee
at tesos Foundation or at least until that means it's really
important. Yeah, it's really important.
Yeah, it's a very it's a consequential thing when it comes
to different areas grant funding and yeah, but also yeah,
and then and yeah, Trilla Tech, of course is very consequential.
Yeah, Trilla Tech is a very constant, but a lot of people
don't know what Trilla Tech is because it's not like it's an
independent company, but I mean it's it's like it's very
consequential for for overall.
Is it like saying the skeleton is independent from the muscles?
No, because it's it like I feel like there's a decentralized
way of actually maybe that actually makes sense in the way
I get what you're saying because in my like I started going
through the logic and I started thinking like yeah, like
organs and you're like, oh wait, that's that's pretty much
what he did, you know, kind of let me really have the lungs
and the heart in the or the heart or no the the brain of
the kidneys and folks.
That was Kevin. Welcome to the stage.
Appreciate you.
So I was going to say, Kevin, just put that tweet down in
the comments. Well, we got a room full of artists, I think.
So, you know, a lot of people like to think in terms of
abstraction, so I'm sure that interested them.
Anyway, we're having a space on Thursday.
So yeah, you can go and see that go to the link and yeah,
it's in my profile too.
So yeah, he'll be coming burned of plenty will be coming.
So plenty network the plenty bridge the plenty decks the
that's the and the plenty wallet, of course.
Yeah, they're all they're all plenty now.
It's all it's all connected.
It's going to be and right.
Yeah, Dimitri from core dot Phi which is and becoming quadrats.
I think I said it right finance.
Yeah, where so he's been so like you will know core dot Phi
it like you cannot do margin trading and or I'm lending a
margin with liquidity banking to the point on where you can
you have mentioned for a big powerhouse.
Yeah, if I nice work, man, this is going to be quite the
space for people who do not understand decentralized finance
what he said was there are four very very very intelligent
individuals who have figured out niches in this environment
of decentralized finance and they're all going to talk about
it and you want to come listen to Kevin.
Oh, yeah, and I hope we do like other parts of this because
there were others that we wanted to bring in and not
like and of course, there even more than that, but it's
just like, you know, how many speakers you can actually fit
on stage, but like just scheduling conflicts and things.
So yeah, it's always good.
I think and I think as we expand the conversation have more
of these like regularly.
I think it'll just will have a very sophisticated vocabulary
to talk about Tezos DeFi overall.
So I hope it's the first of many things like I think we need
like a terms spaces, you know, where we can we can relate
these terms on a more relatable level.
Maybe use like email analogies and maybe something along
those lines where it's a little easier for people to digest
because you said a lot of things man that I most people
I think went over right over there, but I love you.
Yeah, that's that's the irony of it because I'm talking
about how like it's you know, we need to expand.
We need to have like a shared language that's shareable
a lot of people for this thing to scale in any sense in a
literal sense even and in a figurative sense even and in
so many ways too, but like to have that to have any kind
of a language you need to have conversation, you know, whether
that's in your village or your nation state or you know,
your region, whatever like you need to have there used to
be talking being had so that's why we'll be I mean, I've
been saying this for all but yeah, I believe starting either
this week or if not this week then definitely next week.
I'll bring back the Tesla's DeFi Friday spaces that I've
had so but I really hope there's just so many of these
from so many people to I hope that kicks off because it is
a world in itself to like like there's just so much to be
had there. It's like in my mind.
There's like a CNBC or a Bloomberg or Wall Street Journal
whatever just in like running that has to do with this stuff,
but it's such a niche area and very few people are also doing
that thing, but I know they got that running in their heads
too. So it's like we can convene together and illustrate this
in many different ways and in that way bring in new people
because like the fact that like we know the power of this
and all it takes is like that's communicated to other people
and then we have a really growing Tesla's DeFi community.
That's all it really takes.
I'm with you.
One hundred seven dozen space is largely misunderstood in
my opinion not that it's misrepresented.
It's just misunderstood.
But I am going to have to cut you off because we're going to
be wrapping up this space, but Kevin, thank you for coming
up and I don't mean to give you a hard time.
That was you left it right open.
I had to take my shot.
Oh, come on.
Oh, you're giving yourself too much credit.
You know, there I've faced the most brutal.
Remember we we we butted heads in the clubhouse spaces four
years ago.
This is you and I have been dancing for a while.
No, it's so blended to me.
Sometimes I get sparks of memory from that like the it's like
you're like I'm trying to remember.
It's like do I remember his little icon thing positioned on
that screen in in those rooms on Clubhouse two and which ones
and how many times like like as though my brain is wired many
you can remember in such a because those were the days
where we were defending the linear wings and arrows of the
ethereum. Do you remember that where it was just we were
fighting ethereum in general.
What was your name then on on the thing?
Tesla's gaming blanks was getting it was Brendan Langston
but blinds maybe blanks.
I think blanks was your thing then.
And then you then you became then you did the Tesla's gaming
and then you brought back blanks on well, I've been I heard
Tesla's getting from the beginning.
That was the first one.
I never I never represented who I was on the discords.
But now you're giving me too much credit that I'm going to
remember all these things.
No, you're a busy man.
I just think that you're smart and busy man.
So maybe you might remember.
Anyway guys, I have to catch you because as I said 20 minutes
ago, we are wrapping up the space and I want to give the
chance to that's how you know, it's a good one.
Oh, for sure.
So, you know, we could go on for another three hours easily,
but I also want to give the chance, you know to malicious
and hash brown in the Rubisco to give their final thoughts
before we wrap up.
So yeah, let's start with malicious malicious.
You have anything to add make fun of Kevin blanks me or anyone?
I am looking forward to Kevin space because he does explain
in a way that I understand at least.
A lot of the defy concepts that I just don't grasp as well
as I should.
So I am looking forward to that.
I have enjoyed myself very much in the space and I thank you
for being consistent with it and bringing this to us every
So thank you so much for joining.
Thank you and thank you for sharing the initiative about
the Palestine.
We have pinned it up as well for the people that joined now.
Make sure you check it out.
Meet your artworks or buy some cool artworks that are minted
for that cause.
Hash brown.
What about you my man?
Hey, yeah, I just want to firstly appreciate malicious
what you guys are doing there.
Tez for pal and all that.
Yeah, great work.
Also on the defy stuff, you know, we really want to figure
out what says tons like I would love to do some sort of like
fantasy League at something with our artists when we have
matches and all that stuff.
So, you know, what I would love to talk to you guys about
that kind of stuff.
I know we're ending right now, but I'm gonna message some
of you guys about some of that stuff making just just some
fun stuff.
You know, I think there's really fun ways to get game of
fire like the culture side and the defy side, which is already
obviously happening with like pole and vent and all that
amazing stuff going on.
But yeah, stoked to share what you guys have building on all
that and Ryan likewise with what you're building just everyone
everyone playing great job building.
Love you all Tez tones.
We've been like very just head down like finishing our
season, but really want to like open up to collaborating
with a lot more projects and stuff because you know, we've
I mean we've been about collaborating.
We've just been so busy trying to hurt all the artists this
season down this offseason would love to reach out to more
So, you know, appreciate everyone and you guys for hosting
the space Kryptonio blanks and have a great day everyone.
Oh, thank you, man.
Thank you for sharing as well.
And yeah, definitely go check out the stones.
They also have the open call for the design for the trophy
or the final of the season one.
You might be interested in that as well.
Last but not the least Rubisco any final thoughts you would
like to share?
I'm just glad I didn't break spaces this time.
I just want yeah.
Sorry about that.
And just for context for the rest of people the Rubisco was
speaking at the 5 million block party we had on Saturday night
Sunday morning depending on where you are and it cut off as
she was speaking.
So she said did I break the spaces or something?
But no, no, it wasn't you.
It was on my end of that time.
Yeah, apologies for that.
No worries.
I just want to thank everyone who keeps building in Tezos
who keeps going here consistency is a great word.
I really like it and we try to live by it.
So yeah, see you next time.
Thank you for hosting and always doing stuff also Kryptonio.
Have a great night everyone.
Thank you for being here and for all the stuff that you've been
doing you're in so many things.
I think by now most people know you.
And yeah, so with that said there are a lot of really really
good people.
We've mentioned it many times already.
There are a lot of good people into Tezos community that
bring value that do good stuff, you know, selfishly.
They bring a lot of value.
Selflessly.
Yeah, 100%
Why did that say?
It sounded not like selfless.
I just wanted to make sure that was clarified.
Oh, yeah, I know that's what I meant in any case and they
I think they deserve to get some recognition.
That's why you know, we are running also the Tezos community
rewards program which speaking of which it is the last day
It's almost the end of the month and the nominations are still
I have somewhere a pinned tweet about the yeah, it's the second
tweet actually guys go nominate people, you know, it really
takes less than a minute to fill out the form.
We have nine different categories go to Tezos Commons
dot org slash rewards.
You can see them all there and nominate people from the
community.
We want to reward them.
We give out up to 5,000 Tezos every month.
I know it it's not just the amount of tests they get.
It's the recognition that you know, people see them and value
them now.
Kryptonio.
Can people tag into tweets with a hash?
Yes, sir.
So not only on Twitter, but also on Reddit and Discord as
well in the Tezos main Discord.
I mean you can if you see something good, you know, somebody
helping somebody else or onboarding somebody in the ecosystem
just put the hashtag Tezos CRP beneath, you know, that comment
or anything and we will see them.
We will we always see them and we count the mass nominations
normally.
So yeah, definitely go check that out.
Also subscribe to the Tezos baking sheet.
That's the first been tweet up in the space.
Every Friday, you know, we collect all the important stuff
some news and everything and we put them all in there.
Like I had 10 more things that I would like to discuss from
the Tezos ecosystem in this space, but there's just not
enough time and it's not easy to keep up with everything.
So that always helps, you know, to get all the info together.
And yeah, with that said again, I really appreciate you all
for joining for being here every Tuesday.
I hope I see you here next Tuesday as well and Tuesday
after that.
I love you all have a great day or night and yeah, good night
and take care everybody.
