I think we're live.
Let me just quickly check. Using AI to create bangor content amazing we're live awesome hi everyone
let's just wait for a minute it just takes a minute to get you know a couple of people joining
in but till then i'll set up some quick context i feel today the session that we're having
is a personal need for me and at least 50 of people who follow me on x
yes because i see people so if you just check out the the most recent video i created right i think there's so much
more that can be done to it and that is something we're going to solve in this one 100 so you've
tried um morphic have you tried it out before yes yes so after we had that first call i signed up
on the platform i had some few credits think. And that's how it went.
I'll also just quickly introduce myself so that people have context.
So, hi, everyone.
I'm Ishikai.
So, I lead BD at Morphic.
So, if people want to know, like, what is Morphic?
Basically, we're building the figma for sort of animation filmmaking
so we built this end-to-end workflow where you can engage in all these like generative ai tooling to
basically take your story from zero to one so we've built this mostly like you know for animators for
filmmakers artists all sort of kind of creatives in a way. So initially it started off with just anime,
but now we've expanded it out to like all different styles of film
and just animation in general.
So yeah, like this is what we're building.
I guess right now in the generative AI space,
like the main problem with these AI tools is that it's very siloed.
It's a very siloed process.
So if I want to come and make a film i have
to use like six different tools um like six different subscriptions tabs and all of that and
then put it together on a different editor so it's a very siloed and broken process and along the way
a lot of the consistency gets lost um which we found right to be the case so um this is kind of
the reason we built morphic we wanted to consolidate all of this
into like one nice ui ux and one solid experience um so you can actually you know take your story
without losing that consistency um across so yeah this is like a quick gist of morphic and i'll show
you guys also once i start you know going through the session and we can make a video together.
That was great. I think this is one of the major, you know, friction in terms of getting people to do anything with AI, right?
Either creating end-to-end content or even vibe coding.
I mean, the fact that it requires at least two to three different subscriptions to pull off one single task.
I mean, I think I was having the same conversation with Gayatri yesterday that one of the biggest
friction to wipe coding is not the fact that people don't have ideas, is the fact that
people need three different platform cursor, MCPs, some ID to get themselves up and rolling
and actually start doing doing this is one major
problem that we're solving for here yeah yeah 100 and like even just like you as a creator like the
ability to control like the sort of styles you're using or like the characters you want right
morphic we basically made those here for that so our main value prop is
our character models and style models so if i have a character yeah i can now train a model on it and
use it across all my generations to create this like full end-to-end story without it breaking
in consistency so yeah we wanted to like now push this vibe creation energy with Morphic.
We've been seeing a lot of vibe coding.
So why not vibe creation?
I think there's no other way to do it.
No other better way to do it than on base.
Like with the base creators.
That energy is there.
100% on base.
I think that's good.
We can get i think a lot of people are now awaiting
us to actually get into the platform okay let's go let's do it oh let's share my screen
okay oh my god this is so can you guys see it let me check I don't think so right not live yet just a second I'm sorry I think you have to like
uh there we go yeah now it's there okay amazing welcome to modific guys this is this is the
platform um we'll just give a I'll give a quick intro of the platform itself,
and then let's just dive straight into creating something.
So right now, guys, Morphic is basically open,
so you can just directly log in here.
And on the free tier, you get like 10 free generations,
so you'll have the ability to play around,
and you'll have also the ability to try training a model as well.
So this is the platform.
You can see kind of we've structured in a way where you can use it as a collaborative space,
create different workspaces.
You have your areas here to create both your character model and style model,
which we'll get into, I think, in the next session.
So for this session, we'll keep it really simple and showcase very generic, like how
to create like a really cool video with Morpik. But yeah, this is the area though, if you want to
do experiment with training models. So yeah, and then you're going to create a project. This is
like one project. I'm going to open it up. And now you have your figma sort of ui here um so this prompt bar
uh is essentially quick question yeah i think we should actually dive into
what do you mean by training a model i think that'll be very helpful to you know help people
understand the depth of things that we can do here 100 let's let's do that okay so what does
training a model mean so essentially there are two types of models here um by training a model you're
what you're doing is like uploading a set of data set like of assets um and now you're training like
the machine exactly these assets are and how to generate these assets.
So they understand how to generate these assets in other ways just from prompt.
So for example, right, I have a character Lola here.
So this is like a cute little anime girl we've made.
And I did like a character sheet, some closeup shots.
And this is enough for Morphic to...
So that's what it means by like kind of training a model.
The machine understands, okay, what is this data set
and what can I do with this data set?
So now that the machine knows who is Lola,
I can then prompt Morphic to create scenes with her.
If you see, like if I want to generate Lola riding a bicycle or like eating ice cream,
all these scenes, when I use my character model, it'll keep Lola consistent and I'll generate her
consistently in all different sort of actions. So this is the best way to actually create character driven scenes um any story has your
main character right and you can't do that without keeping the character consistent
so that's what you do when training a model here essentially this is your gateway into playing your
character driven scenes consistently perfect so can i so essentially i can create a character for myself who would essentially let's
say if i want to if i pick uh let's say a youtube channel or even twitter account which doesn't have
my profiles or you know my physical profiles this can be the one who essentially creates very consistent
videos slash pictures across platforms yeah yeah 100 and also like i'm giving you an animated
example right more of a diagnostic like you can just upload images of yourself if you want
and like create like that that's good yeah yeah so uh 3d characters work animated yourself you can
upload real life images so it's style agnostic yeah so you can just like it works across any
context perfect yeah so yeah so that is character model similarly uh you can do the same thing with
style so like for example uh like let's take GTA, right?
The GTA style is kind of like the realism 3D style, right?
So if I want to make a movie in that sort of style, I can upload around like 20 images that encompass the style of GTA and upload it here.
So you want to upload like background images, objects, characters, just so Morphic
understands the world of this style, right? So for example, if you like Harry Potter, I can upload
like all the scenes of a Harry Potter here so that Morphic now understands what is the style of
Harry Potter, what is the world of Harry Potter. So any scene now that I create in the future,
where I apply my style model, all those scenes will stay consistent in this world of Harry Potter.
Right. So Harry Potter has a way of showcasing what like, you know, the flying broomstick,
right. For example, if you were to use that in any other context without the style model,
Morphic would generate it very differently. Right. But if I apply the Harry Potter style,
it'll it'll generate exactly of how this broomstick, you know, is used in Harry Potter. So that's the
point of style model so that you can keep your like style consistent across scenes and also make
sure that world that you're trying to create stays consistent across all scenes. So for example,
right, this was like a mini comic book style I've trained a model on. So you can see it's just like
a bunch of images I've uploaded here because i wanted to
create a comic book so this is the sort of style i wanted to encompass in the comic book so i've
trained i've uploaded these images um good diversity of like background like characters
and objects and now any scene i create will stay in this like comic book style so yeah that's the style model perfect yeah so these two models
are basically kind of your gateway into creating like a full intense story and keeping it consistent
across all the frames got it perfect perfect i think we've set some good context as to you know
perfect perfect i think we've set some good context as to you know yeah how we can play
around and what notes to touch when we're entering this yeah 100 and you know it works with abstract
sort of uh styles as well like for example let's take base right base is like this embodiment of
this like sea of blue color right so if i want to like kind of create a base style in a way
i can kind of do that so this was like a blue and black style i had created in a way it's like it's
very abstract you can see right so i kind of do something similar with base here right if i just
want to take a few maybe screenshots of like base's previous content or even just like basic logo and stuff and kind of make a style around it you can
do that um to create some fun based content perfect got it cool yeah so i think uh hopefully
that sets the context as to like what model set you up for but um we can now go ahead and just
start creating something from scratch we do do have two built-in models
for you guys to play around with.
So if you don't know how to train a style model
or you don't have an idea of what style you want to use,
we have around three here built-in already for you to use.
So we have an anime, realism, and flat anime style.
So I guess in this session,
we can just probably use one of those.
Sounds good. Awesome. so i guess in this session we can just probably use one of those sounds good awesome so yeah like okay let's create some like quick fun videos i think on my uh
twitter recently i posted like this uh like abstract cat in like a purple realm with like
flowers so we can probably try something like that yeah i saw that i so why
when i first started morphek right that was my reference that i want to create that oh my god
nice yeah so are you into like i wasn't i wasn't able to in my first try yeah it's honestly in this
age of ai prompting is like the main kind of tool you need in
order to like get what you want.
Like learning how to do it as well will take you like to whatever dimension you want with
So that's maybe we can go over that, like how to prompt like really good.
So to get the scenes you're kind of like desiring um for both image and video
okay so tell me what do you what do you feel like creating
uh let's create there let's create a cat okay walking on a beach
but the sunset is green in color i mean the sunset hues are green and if that's a little too complex i'm not sure and the what uh but the sunset hues are green in color. Okay, the sunset
So what I say on a beach that's happening and he was a green color. Okay, correct
All right, and should we do like an anime style here
Sounds good. Okay, we can do that You can also also if you don't want to use the style model, you can just kind of directly write in the prompt like
2d anime style like that okay got it yeah so let's generate a few like scenes here
oh my god you know what's so funny so you know how walk of luck he joined powercaster
yeah this is his picture i guess he like did the ghibli trend right so i was trying to animate it uh just like show you got it man winking smiling oh this is so nice
this can be easily plugged into let's say a new social app where anybody who creates
social app where anybody who creates a profile they can animate it damn quick yeah dude there's
so many fun things to do here like it's actually it's so it's so cool like every day i'm just
finding new use cases here cool okay it's so nice this looks like an apocalypse and I'm on YD.
This is so nice.
Oh my god.
Okay, let's add zombies maybe in the water.
Okay, so let's say I really like...
Let's take this. Actually, no.
Let's take this one.
The first one.
Yeah, this is cute.
Okay, let's take this one.
Let's say I want to add zombies or something in the background so we have this in painting tool where you you know you select this
region selection okay let's say i want to add zombies here i can now just describe like
a zombie like walking in the ocean like that or something
and it should generate now in the back honestly i don't know
if anime style understands what a zombie is but let's see
let's see i've never seen a zombie in any anime yeah exactly it's honestly
are we the first people to do that as zombie in anime
style like the only zombies i'm seeing is in minecraft sorry oh there was some lag the only
zombies you've seen are in minecraft oh that makes sense dude what if we're the first person to
create zombies in anime style dude oh my god we're making history right now this is crazy
so out of the four selections basically i can pick and choose what to edit in you know each of them
yeah like and let's say like different elements of different pictures i can merge them as well
oh my god dude oh this is so funny yeah yeah so let's say we don't like he's like blocking
the sunny i don't like that so let's try to segment him out um so what you can do here is
like you can layer out elements that you want to move around. Or if you just want to remove them, you can layer it out.
So in order to do that, we have, again, you're using this object selection tool here.
Okay? Okay.
So we have two options. If you want a more granule way to specifically select what you want,
you use this object selection tool. So this will let you put points over what exactly you want you use this object selection tool so this will let you like put points over
like what exactly you want to segment out right like that and i can segment um but if you want
like a automatic way to do it i'll just show it here while this happens uh we have this auto
segment layers tool here okay this will automatically segment
out the frames based off of what it like picks up god so more or less like you know any uh
editing platform figma uh photoshop it'll just cut out different elements yeah and will that happen
get this into a video as well yeah yeah you can like as
long as everything is in one artboard you can then turn it into a video no matter how many layers are
there got it yeah so like in this case like if i just do the auto segmentation right i'm probably
it probably will just do two layers honestly like the cat in the background that's it
yep so yeah so when you're doing like
more granular way like you would want to use the object selection right got it like if i like this
cat but i like maybe this background here i can segment this cat bring it into this background
and then delete this cat got it got it got it got it
now i'll show you that here okay cool so now i can actually just like remove this zombie here
easy and like let's say i want to move him here i can do that
but yeah let's just maybe keep him here for now okay so this is that auto segmentation right now
so it's like the shadow yeah yeah so something like this happens you can just kind of
just draw over it again and then right the sand or something right and it should like cover it up
over it again and then like the sand or something right and it should like cover it up
but yeah see now i have there's two besties here
so a lot of things to play around that we can do yeah yeah so it's like fun to just build scenes
here little baby we can make him what if we just like put him on top of the head here
what if you just like put him on top of the head here
an even bigger cat
behind the zombie so it's the zombie who's scared not the cat
yeah like you can just like make a giant zombie in the back
so yeah if you want to like do the layer adjusting right you can just like drag the layer
yeah so you can play around
yeah got it cool okay should we animate Yeah, so you can play around.
Yeah, got it.
Cool. Okay. Should we animate this? Like maybe we can try this.
Okay. So now when you have your select image and scene ready, you want to animate it.
Very simple. Now you just have to do an image to video flow here.
So all you do is like select the artboard and on this like bottom left side
you'll select video and now you're gonna just prompt a movement so we can just say a cat
walking on the beach wagging its tail maybe something like that um And by the way, guys, like when you're prompting,
always write in third person.
So don't say something like make the cat, right?
You're not commanding, you're prompting in third person.
You're describing the action or the scene, right?
Cat walking on the beach, right?
Something like that.
So this goes with both image and video so
this is the best way you can get like the sort of output you would expect what difference does it
make though so the way just kind of the tech understands it is it understands that more of
your a description rather than a command right like chat gpt is more of an llm right in that
sense you can command it but here if you're
doing something in sort of media creation it understands like scene by scene right so if you
were a director right right and you were like writing down your shot you're not gonna write like
make the guide move right you're gonna describe it in the whole person got it yeah so yeah cat
walking on the beach so yeah when you're making the videos you
may have to do like maybe two or three times just to get and play around with the prompt to get the
sort of movement you expect maybe the first time won't get the result right so you have to be
patient in that way We can also even just like try oh that was me yesterday so we're generating number now oh i forgot to write oh my god
oh damn this is funny so great for me making as well guys so definitely try now we can animate this like this guy was like
man stops both oh my god this is so funny
crazy the cat's done nice zombie just kind of drowned
let's bring the zombie back
yeah so okay so you can see like sometimes you'll get like morphed outputs right so now let's just
change the prompt a bit right let's write something
catwalk slowly on the beach subtle movement maybe something like that
so the more um i guess subtle the movement like the better it generates so if you were to do like
a very crazy action scene it might like more forbid so it tends to really good with you know it
does it can do action scenes like if you have like a like a sword swinging you it can do that
like gunshot motorcycle like all of that it can do but like some crazy battle scene and stuff like
it could work in some sense but it does best in like more one sort of actions okay so what you're saying is either either the actions have to be sort of single identity slash not very crowded or i mean
if you want to do crowded it has to be a really really detailed prompt correct yeah the crowded
usually gets a bit tricky but it does very well with like a single shot or a character
got it yeah but we can i mean the way we morph the cat we can create let's say you me and 10
other people fighting in a battle indifferently and then sort of pull them on all together yeah yeah yeah yeah you can do it also
perfect perfect perfect oh my god we can oh yeah if you want to like make memes or memes or something you can add text also like perfect
this is nice
maybe let's now like while this while we wait for these.
Okay, let's see what comes up.
Oh my God.
So yeah, guys, you can do realism too.
It works very well with real like images, not just animated.
This is cool.
So we just recreated number one from yesterday so very fun stuff you can play
around with here yeah great okay so while this is going let's maybe also just try creating
something a little more aesthetic so we can probably post it now when you're gonna have
to post one of these like whatever you want no i'll post all of them um let's like let's do
usually the sunset seems a really good okay sunset in a mountain
and let's make this see Sunset season really good. Okay, sunset in a mountain. And
let's make this scene.
A man and woman
having a picnic.
Scenic sunset
in the mountains.
Let's do that.
Also, it works with reference images right so if you have like a reference image you
want to use just add it directly here does it make your sort of renders better or more contextualized
does it make your what do they make your renders a little better if you put a reference image yeah i mean depends
on the use case right like if you have a specific scene in mind and you have the like reference for
it then it yeah it will yeah so it depends on the use case this is nice oh my god what is this
oh this is cute this is cute this is nice this is nice
no the cannabis is wind blowing people laughing
so yeah see like in some cases this may happen
let's try another
cat walking on the beach
we'll try this one also each but i get it like if people i mean if i go into this with clear direction of
what's the sort of output i'm looking for yeah this makes the journey damn easy yeah yeah 100
this makes the journey damn easy yeah yeah 100 this is quite nice i think i'll post this on
farcaster so a lot of people actually lean on this whole ghibli trend they were just animating
their images with morphic so like people were able to create like full like storylines with it
full storylines with it.
I think I saw one of them.
Like a really nice, I think Kunal did
Interstellar, which is really nice.
upload a video as a reference?
Video as a reference?
Not right now. We're actually implementing that soon, but not right now.
This is nice.
I'm just thinking of ideas that I'm going to execute after this.
So guys, whoever is watching, definitely log in
and start trying it out um you have from
three generations i want to see like what people can like vibrate um using morphex
and when you do like post definitely tag will be posted i don't like a live creating uh culture culture you know what let's get let let's get let's open let's make a post uh try to get
a few people a couple of them and get them to vibe create live
okay once we're done with let's you know, creating a video with multiple shots, the third session, we can do this.
Oh, this is really cool, dude.
Yeah, this is quite cool.
Natural in a way.
Can you do the actual thing, you know, with the sunlight?
Like, in one sense, like, it'll look green.
Like, an object will look green.
But then once you, like, take it out, it'll look blue.
Oh, anyway.
Yeah, sorry.
I, yeah, I think Shubham also was saying he wanted to do, like, a session where he just
That could be, like, our first go with it.
Quick one.
Can I make the video a little longer right now
it's like 6 seconds
so if you want to like
I guess more of it
you'll have to like do it again
so it's only like right now limited to 6 seconds
this is cute actually i like this a lot
super what do you what do you want to do next oh yeah by the way you can upscale these um so if
you want to like post and just scale uh so you have like a high quality result here
does anyone from like audience can they suggest things is it like a live chat or something
i think we can get this from the comments yeah if they so if if you comment something that you
want us to try we can quickly pull that up yeah any scene you guys want to try let me know
let's do it
you know like i made a um i was testing out like the real life character
we did like virag chloe it was so funny for sure yeah you know what, let's just try.
That model is in the other account.
Let's try like motorcycle so a gunfight a guy firing a gun while driving riding a bike
oh someone commented that or you on that no no that's me actually somebody prompted a couple overseeing the
mountains during sunset sipping to coconut water a couple that's a couple overseeing the mountains
during sunset
sipping to coconut water
that's water to coconut water. Let's try this.
Oh my God. so it's super quick like literally like maybe like a three-step process to just like create
an image and just animate the image damn this is nice even the first picture oh cute yeah look at that there's so many details damn
oh my god i love this one. This is nice.
So like if we want to do the same prompt and we want to do it in like,
so this is a 3D gaming style at Chain of Model
on like a 3D gaming sort of vibe.
So if we can, I'll show you guys like
same prompt in a different style.
So let's do 3D gaming.
Let's do realism.
And let's also just do the other anime style.
So we can see what can like a scene to scene look like in different styles.
This is cute too.
Wow, they're all pretty cute all of them are cute
okay look at this so this is the 3d style so you can see the like the difference in style see this is so nice yeah yeah even
this one nice cute uh this is the realism style this is the um i guess anime the other anime style
cute damn this is nice so yeah like same scene four different styles
let's see oh my god look at that
damn dude that's production ready i mean in my view dude this is a post ready i'm gonna post
this one oh you wanna post this go ahead i'm gonna push every four of them i'm gonna push four of them.
I'm gonna push this one.
So yeah, this is literally like my creating.
Whatever scene comes to head, just make it,
bring it to life with Morphing.
Now it's possible.
Oh, cute. Because I'm talking and sitting awesome so yeah guys this is literally how you can just make any scene you want any style you want
whatever you're imagining bring it to life with morphic now it's open to everyone so just sign up and start creating and i think third session let's get a couple of them on the stream and i
think by the third session we'll be up and running to create a short crisp video let's you know a
couple of them and us let's create a video jam on this 100 next session
let's go through actually using the character model to create like a full storyline and then
animating that storyline and then let's get like a few creators whoever wants to come on
and just create live on the stream let's get that to happen too done perfect awesome guys
does anyone have questions by the way if there's any questions
in the chat let me know
don't any questions anybody drop in the chat will pick it up create it by code it whatever you want naman tell me how can these guys um
let's say i made a really cool video and i want to put it on chain how can they do that
and they want a video that they want to put on chain yeah
hmm i mean i think yeah zora i feel Zora is the best way to do it currently.
And I mean, the best, quickest way to do it.
You know, one use case to build a mini app on FC or TG would be, let's say, a link between Morphic, a quick minting process on Zora, and an instantaneous post on your feed.
Yeah, dude, like, that's definitely definitely we can probably build something like that. Yeah, I'm actually learning how to create something on Cursor.
That'll be my next project.
Done, done, let me do it.
Diving was like, oh, my God, I love this.
Yeah, you just upscaled it. Oh my God, I love this.
Yeah, you just upscaled it. I just upscaled it now like it's much better quality so I can. Yeah. Um now it gets it gets in
like um 1080 so now you can like post it in good quality
anywhere. Oh by the way, I didn't I forgot to mention you
can make in different formats. So if you want to make like real content, right?
So you can just change the aspect ratio here.
Can I change it after I've done all, all my, you know, process?
No, you can't.
Just, right.
If you want to make like specific, like if you want to make Instagram reels or like,
like a square sort of content, just like change the aspect ratio here you got it yeah dude i love this video monkey on a bike
yeah dude this is so fun awesome um great yeah so this is just like quick session right intro to
morphic basically i love to see everyone try it out um definitely
try it post uh keep creating right this is kind of your gateway into like endless possible
creations whatever you want to tell like you can make it um and so next session we'll probably just
do like an entire storyline using character model n10 so learning how to create like a movie or like a full story end to end
i'll actually choose to tweet let's crowdsource ideas for this and let's engage people to think and you know sort of give us ideas that to create yeah yeah let's do it let's do it
let's do it let's do it perfect good one ishika i mean i and now i know what my next two hours are
gonna be looking like this is what i'm gonna do next no tell me now what are you what are you so
tell us what are you planning to create now what is the story you want to make filmmaker i I am thinking I just posted a video a very random video of some airport shots beach and
I think a couple of boats I'm going to recreate that but by prompting in Morphic with a consistent
style and try to create the same video with the same audio so that's my goal now yeah let's do it if you need help let me know um
by the way also if you guys need like any resources like to understand how to best use morphic i'll
just stop a i guess i'm just sharing one tab right how do i share my whole screen
ah there we go okay
can we bring my screen back on the screen one second
so something's up with my stream yard i don't have admin access today
i've been bugging him the whole session yesterday i called him like 20 times
oh my god but dude yeah like this is so fun like i was doing so many like IRL like sessions with folks and we were just like vibe-cating together.
We should do it definitely virtually.
The third session is booked now.
We're getting people to co-create stuff.
Two things before we end this.
One, this is our help center, help.morphic.com oh so we have like a few
workflow like walkthroughs guides so if you need help with like understanding how to use a feature
this is your go-to or you can honestly just like dm me if you have any specific questions um
so help.morphic.com. And we have a YouTube.
Which has like some.
Oh, this is a long one.
Morphic films, yeah.
So we have a YouTube.
Where you can also check out some of our like.
