and just we're cooking, you know.

It's no easy feat, but I think I'm excited.
Like I started sitting down to plan out my thing
and I got a little overwhelmed because it's like when you've never, I've never built a
website before, but I got to plan out every single action that can happen on this website.
Cause if I don't have it planned out and I can't reiterate that information to the AI,
how's it going to know that it needs to do that? You know? And so, you know, it's, it's,
it's kind of like, I don't know. It's, it's it's it's kind of like i don't know it's
giving me a i feel like i'm in school again does that make sense like i feel like i'm learning
again and and essentially i'm not really learning any i guess i'm learning how to code but
through vibe coding but um it's just it's exciting and and i'm and i'm swinging for the fucking fence
uh grateful with what i'm building i'm swinging to the fence with what i'm building
you got to try out uh on some vibe coding this like vibe coding is such a revolutionary style
of coding so i've been i've been coding since i was like 14 years old right and i've always been
really interested in seeing all the new tools that helped me build really cool
but now vibe coding is a whole nother beast and it really allows the idea man to have the tools to to do something really cool you should try yeah you should try something out

So what I'm building is called Othershop.xyz,
and it's going to be a 3D avatar mint page mint page like so you can create an unreal avatar and mint
it and there'll be a a custom fucking um like uh like you don't know what you're getting mint and
then there'll be there's this many traits left in the collection you can pick what traits you want
and make the custom avatar and then those traits disappear from the collection and you mint that
as your avatar and
um i've got like uh i've got several other things that i want to implement but that's the basis of
what other shop.xyz is and i already own the the xyz and all that um and like i've had this plan
for a while um i just didn't know how i was going to deliver it and then you know with everything
with the other side taking off and stuff like that like like I know exactly what and how I want to do now.
Man, I'm also about to start building an app.
I had an idea.
I think it's a really good one.
I want to build a social trading feed, creator economy, community insights, engagement rewards, cross-chain integration, educational hub.

learn more about what you're building you coming you also coming to apepeChain. So I also read on your profile, Farahox, that you joined crypto in
like 1993. So could you share maybe like very shortly like your journey into this space,
how you ended up and what you've been cooking? Yeah, for sure, for sure, man. Thanks for having
me on and all the above. So yeah, I've been in crypto for quite a while.
As I said before, just like naturally just been a little nerd since I was very, very young.
And crypto kind of found me.
Like always on the computer, just clicking shit before it even paid me.
And just trying to figure out, whoa, what is this crazy black box that has the world of possibilities at my fingertips?
And I first discovered bitcoin 2012 it was like
around like 23 or something like 23 26 or something and crazy yeah yeah it was like i was like whoa
this is programmable money and i'm like wait i can do this and then i started going into the tech
right i'm like okay but how do i not how does this make sure how is this validated what's going on
does it live on a server and then that's when i just dug real deep. And I was like, whoa, that's also when
I discovered the Silk Road. It was around college time, right? So I just started like arbitraging,
right? Just buying Bitcoin at like $25, then buying weed lollipops on the Silk Road and then
reselling them to all the college kids. At the time though, i was reusing bitcoin as currency not a store of value so all
that bitcoin is gone i didn't start actually holding bitcoin until 2015 but uh i paved the
way i paved the way you know what i mean how much bitcoin you actually spent back in the day 64
million dollars for real i'm dead serious the other day i found like that's today's value that's that
i i haven't actually looked the last time i looked was when bitcoin was around like 70 000 and it
hurt it it's starting to hurt me so i'm like you know what let me let me just not keep count at this point, you know, just charge it to the game.

if it's off but how did you come up with with the for Vala? When did it spark?
Yeah, so it sparked late 2023.
It was when I was in Amsterdam.
I was just kind of like hanging out and thinking about where the market was going.
And I really started to see meme coins and culture
was not going to stop.
It was going to continue.
But how do you capture that?
How do you capture that?
How does a value transfer from the good people to the good people how do you make it easy for individuals not
in the space to participate all of these weird zany things so at the time though vola actually
started off as a cross-chain meme coin decks that's what i built first it was like a deck it
was cross-chain gasless bridgeless which means you don't have to pay any gas fees to move, let's say, like, but coin to ape coin.
And, you know, at the time, that wasn't very sexy, right?
It's like, there's a lot of decks. It's hard for me to tell people if I meet them in real life.
Hey, dude, you should totally get on my cross-chain decks.
Like, what the hell is this dude talking about?
So I decided, OK, let me make something that's going to be actually revolutionary.
Let me go the harder route and wrap a social feature around it.
So then that's when I actually wrapped embedded kickstreams.
So those of you who don't know, kickstreams can be embedded into any website.
It's not something that you even need their permission.
There's an API.
You can just embed it into anything.
So I started messing around with embed embedding kick streams into the decks where
you could see, you know, trades and all this stuff.
And funny enough at the, at the time pump wasn't even, wasn't even doing that.
Right.
They were, they were still just very much token launching and all this stuff,
but I saw where we were headed.
I just didn't quite know how I wanted it to be.
And for me, token launching is a good and a bad in the industry.
So I didn't really want to start off with just token launching. Cause I think it would erode the trust that I'm building with Vala.
So anyways, you know, started it like that.
And I just ended up pivoting.
I was like, dude, this has to be a mobile app.
This has to be a mobile app.
So I started off early.
I started building the mobile app.
Everybody was like, dude, you're crazy.
Like a mobile app, like you're you're crazy like a mobile app like you're not
gonna get on the app store like and then around that same time telegram mini app started to blow
up and people are like dude pivot telegram mini app and i'm like dude like your sister your cousins
they don't have telegram mini apps bro what they do have is the app store i'm gonna go the harder
and the longer route because it's gonna build a moat and I see the vision.
So it was really hard.
And we fought Apple for five months to get on the App Store.
They were trying to figure out how to get their paws on any of the crypto transactions and the tips and everything.
And we ended up winning against them.
And finally, they agreed to let us on the App Store.
And here we are just pushing and really trying to put the power back in.
And we'll get into the nitty gritty of how V volo works but I'll give you the floor on that one man this is crazy
and I have a friend here they had a they had a very successful app on on App Store and App Store
they just removed them for a few months or something and it was absolutely wild it was
also crypto related and it was absolutely wild for them because that was their whole business model.
So I think for some time they switched for Telegram in games or how you call them.
And yeah, they fought really strong and they got back because also the App Store, they didn't want to let any new updates for the app.
They let them on like you know for
four months so it's absolutely wild uh and i'm really happy that it hopefully changed right that
it's so much easier and you mentioned that you you actually were in the amsterdam so
before we move on uh i i have one question man tell me again about the hash card

So look, the truth is with the app itself, man, like the features are very complex and
very simple at the same exact time.
So what I mean by that is we've created a social application that has the rails for creators, bag workers,
clippers, casual users, really like however you want to use the application is up to you,
but we'll help you and run like, you know, guide you along some of the features. So this particular
space is being recorded and this space is actually going to be a part of our pilot campaign program where it is going to be offered up to be clipped to our
users and then then post it up on Vala with apecoin attached shout out apecoin
so users are gonna be able to earn this way so let's talk a little bit more
about the feed right when you when you sign in on Vala you can use your
socials or you can use an email when When you sign in, you're going to get

we're really excited to see how the community starts to use that and implement you know all

Yeah, that's a really great question.
I think that's always the biggest question for applications that are building in Web3
and are trying to break out into Web2.
The beautiful part about what I've built is that it comes with a Web2
ethos inside of it already. And we're the most well-positioned application to take advantage of
the current narrative and both sides of the ecosystems, right? For example, when we run
UGC content on TikTok and stuff, right, the conversion rate of getting somebody to come over to

naturally meant i needed to make sure that this thing was completely connected to full trading so

you know just the beginning but it is a is a full blown trading app as well. So
you can go and see what's going on, buy some tokens. The idea also is we're going to also be
really, really heavily focused on ease of transfer. Like, what does that even mean?

happening, you know, you don't go to Phantomantom you don't go to metamask you're
gonna go into vola and share the asset really quickly because we have group chats in there and
everything like it's just a different ecosystem something really different where we'll make it

process a lot because again this world we're used to it individuals who haven't been in this world

And it was, I think, a really long journey to get there because we wanted to prove that we were worth it for working together.
So that's why we wanted to build, you know, something on ApeChain.

I loved the day that I woke up and there was probably Gochita or Captain Zwingli saying,

time because I couldn't find the right one and so we're working with them we are launching the first game on gamify really soon
i'm not going to disclose uh when yet because but it's really soon like in the next couple of weeks
we are launching the platform and there is this game on it called cash or crash and basically
how it works you move forward step by step. And as the squid game logic, you need to mind what is the right tile where you have to step.
If you click on the wrong tile, you lose everything like you put it.
It's all ape coin, of course.
put your, you know, if you click on the right tile, you get a multiplier, you level up,
and it becomes always, for each step, you know, higher and higher the multiplier, so you can
cash out any time, and you can risk it all, honestly, every time you choose another tile,
you're risking, you know, again, but it's really, really addictive. I really love it. I'm like
testing it, you know, every day with my developers and it's really fun. And what we are adding on top
of this, it is having a model of revenue sharing with the communities, especially because I was
always struggling in the past to think about how is it possible for founders of NFT collections to
find a sustainable way of monetizing, you know, through, you know, whatever else, you know, and
not just selling NFTs. And then I was thinking, let's do something which can be considered
individually a referral system, but as a community is a real revenue sharing model because
40% of all the revenue that we make with the platform, we give it back to the communities.
And of course, we give back 10% also individually to the people. So there is a system that we will share really soon.

were, you know, spending so much money from their treasuries to build a game. And it was taking a

to keep everyone busy and you know to help everyone to monetize to prize you know the best you know
holders and so on so forth like there there's so many goals involved in launching a game for your
own community especially web3 so what we want to do is to create this white label you know
games where you can you you know, have your own
game and being able to organize your own tournament. And we can bring a lot of, you know, people
because, you know, everyone is mistaking us as a, you know, software house of games. But our core
business is not creating games, is distribution. We're really good in that, in collaborating with communities
and bringing people, transactions, activity on chain, volume.
We can drive really well.
We are a sort of distribution channel
and we want to help people to get that sort of things
like activities, new communities, new joiners,
user adoption, acquisition, retention, and so on and so forth. And we want to do that in a super
concrete way. You have, like, your treasury, do not waste, you know, all the money in your treasury
to build a game from scratch, when actually even chain is you know streaming classic vibe coding like
we don't need you know any more software out like huge software houses to create a game nowadays
we need you know something ready something fast i don't remember who said that earlier but the
space goes fast and whenever you start to build something and you take some time, the trend or, you know, that vibe already disappeared, like the space in Web3 goes at meme speed and we really need, you know, to work accordingly.
So as I always say, we always listen to our community, which is made not only by individuals, but also by other communities so we speak with founders of other NFT projects and the
biggest pain point it is that when they launch a collection then of course every collection but
also any token is is like dropping down it's really hard to keep high the momentum the hype
it's impossible to keep it high you know all the time What we are trying here is like to give a tool that allows people like founders to give
something to do that has a reason to come back, you know, and this tool is allowing
you to do a lot of stuff, you know, like launching your game.
And as I said, you know, launching your tournaments or even launching your own NFT collection in
game as a multiplier so you have
you know something that eventually you can burn to zero and it's just something else additional
that you can give to your community to play with in game and so on so forth like there is a lot of
stuff that is cooking we're cooking a lot um we were preparing these you you know, for a while. It's not, it wasn't easy, honestly, because we were studying the market. And, you know, it's so unpredictable, right? It's all these, you know, to drain the market you know and do something you know quick grab the money do something
like a cash grab and make you know an application whatever a game on on i don't know on telegram
a click app or whatever we wanted to do something useful for people to use it as as much as an infrastructure, I might add, you know. And I know maybe now the idea is not super polished.
Like you will see the platform will evolve through the time,
through the feedbacks of the community.
But that's the way we used to build.
And that's the way we survived all these years.
