Hey everyone, thanks for joining. This is Tim, the host for today's KuKun Fireside Chat. Today we'll be going over the second part of the VRAR series. I'd just like to apologize.
some technical issues earlier. So the previous link didn't work and that's why we have a new link for this space. So just hold tight and let me get the guests on.
Hey, how's it going? Hey, yeah, so apologies again for the issues earlier. I believe we are still waiting for two more projects to join.
In the meantime, do you guys want to go ahead and give an intro to your backgrounds as well as projects? Just because we have a lot of guests. I don't want to waste any time here. So how about Firestarter? Do you guys want to start?
I think we lost this connection. Tell me, do you want to go ahead and give an intro while we while the others join? Yeah, sure. I'm the CCR of plutonians. Plutonians is the VR
VR, Metaverse on Solana. We're really happy the work we've done already and happy to be in this space. All things considered that we launched with a VR demo and over a year later here we are.
Awesome. And, uh, uh, parole, do you want to go ahead as well? Give an intro to your background as well as your project? Yeah, sure. Hello, everyone. Hopefully you can hear me part in if there's any background noise. I mean, transit, however, it's such a pleasure to connect
with everyone. First off, thank you to KuKoin, which has been an incredible partner and platform for us to get a lot of like-minded innovators and concert exercise and utility. Firestarter is a launch pad that invests in
and in the VR game 5 metaverse infrastructure space. And we're super excited to be here to meet new projects and investors. Our concept is we believe that we are going to be able to
community is much stronger than a single VC and so we pick out what we believe to be the strongest deals. Average deals are making around 17X ROI if you get to participate and we allow our community investors to participate in these deals whilst super charging these
projects with resources, resourcefulness, exercising utility of the token of the project, as well as allowing there to be big distribution channels so the project can have a lot of relevant users not only to lodge but there afterwards as well.
Awesome, I really appreciate you taking the time to join us today. I believe next up, Diego, you just joined us, right? Do you want to go ahead?
Oh, looks like we lost him as well, I think. So Adam, do you want to go ahead?
I am here. Thank you for the intro. I am very excited to be here. I believe today there will be VR, AR, XR, Summer after the Apple announcement. I am Adam Bamm, co-founder and CEO of Victoria VR. What we are creating is
MMO, RPG, blockchain-based virtual world, in virtual reality with photo-realistic graphics, flash, realistic graphics. We are under engine-based and we are in Prague, so Czech Republic. Excited to be here, thank you. Thank you and last but not least, Diego, go ahead.
Hi everybody can you hear me? Yep. Yeah great so thanks for having me I mean it is a pleasure to be here just a quick word on what is over. Always in our country is an arbitrary metaverse so our vision is to augment the physical world with
AR content that is geolocalized, so it's connected to specific locations. And the core of our technology is a system to localize your space. And it's basically a crop source system that allows people to take pictures of all of these locations. And from location we created 3D maps that allow for precise localization.
Awesome and yeah, so so welcome all four of you very excited So we have a lot to go through and hopefully we can have some time at the end for some audience questions. So Let's go ahead in the same order and I have some questions prepared for each one of you guys, but please try to keep the
the answers as concise as possible just in the interest of time. So let's start with Firestarter, Pearl. What is a launchpad for those who may not be so familiar with that concept and why should VR projects in particular be incubated by Firestarter?
A launch pad is an organization that super charges projects with resources such that they can navigate the sophisticated nuances of launching a project successfully. We specialize in helping projects build community.
We do that by organically sharing the opportunity to participate in the presale of the project's token launch as well as utilizing a ray of different marketing tools from bots to finding local like audiences partnering with
key opinion leaders within the space and giving them the opportunity to invest in participating in the project, participating and follow on investments. We invest in these projects ourselves, so we put our money where our mouth is, and then we help these projects find distribution
channels and utility for their projects. We make sure that their token economic schema is sound and we help them as best as possible. ARVR, XR, GameFi, infrastructure projects, they should participate in launch pads because launch pads will help you go from zero to one and then from
one to ten and then ten to one hundred. What I mean by that is as a project team you typically have expertise whether that's an infrastructure building side, marketing side, product side, defining, being a customer company, defining exactly what your expertise is. And a launch pad will be able to help fill in the
gaps. So I highly recommend exploring launch pads. The way that we differentiate ourselves from other launch pads is we don't only provide community for you to participate to participate in your pre-sale, but we help finding you customers. We help you across various different arrays of
the nuances again of what it takes to successfully launch a project from connecting with exchanges, having a market-making strategy, doing analysis of the market, understanding narratives, making sure that you have the strongest tech team, making sure that your smart contracts are audited, making sure that you have a legal path to success. It is
quite complex to be able to successfully launch a project. So I think projects are more likely to be successful if they go to a launch pad and we operate as a tier one investor. Why would you want to invest in a company that has a tier one investor because the tier one investor is offering so
many resources such that the project Max and I are a chance to be successful. What this means for a customer or a community member is that they now get to participate in projects that they otherwise wouldn't be able to participate until the project is public. Why? Because if you have the best
project, the best investors will have reservation to be able to invest in these projects and hence have the outcome of getting the best ROI on investment, have the outcome of getting to put their stamp on the most prestigious projects, having the ability to
create ecosystems for these projects and investors, but we'll even the playing field by allowing the average Joe or Jane or Pepe to participate assuming that you're in the KYC approved regions. Awesome. Thank you for that. Let's
Let's move on to plutonians. Most metaverse projects we've seen so far have been built around flat screen apps and mobile and desktop. Why is the plutonians metaversome focused on AR and VR?
Yeah, great question. I mean, I think from early on, you know, we launched with the VR demo, and that was really where our focus lay simply because when we first heard the term "metaverse," you know, we truly believed that
the Metaverse is made up of three different things and one of those things is VRAR. So, yeah, not being focused on VR and being a Metaverse seemed like a little bit of a halfway point.
So we just decided to go full on VR all the way and we've just upgraded the main game to Unreal Engine 5.2 recently so we'll be pushing the alpha version
three shortly, and I can see Ron listening. It's like, we're probably going to push that shortly. And you know, it's not, it hasn't been without, without a lot of learning along the way, because the Unreal Engine itself is still
being rolled out. And so we're kind of constantly waiting for features for VR specifically. But as I think we've all seen, or as I hope we've all seen, recently the Quest 3 and of course the amazing
Apple Vision. I can't wait to get our hands on that. And, you know, plutonians as a metaverse, it's, it's, we, we want to be seen in all VR and AR spaces and places and, and we want to, we want to participate
in that metaverse. So that's why we have a world in VR chat. That's why we have lap plutonian labs and we have all of our WebXR experiments up on there. So yeah, we're very much all in on VR.
Awesome, and yeah, so I'd love to circle back to you as well as Parallel from Firestarter later on if we get the chance, but let's move on to Diego
So why do you think currently AR Tech is not as widely adopted and how can over the reality help bring mass adoption?
Well, on our side, the real bottleneck is of course hardware right now. So, as we was mentioning before, Apple just came out with this groundbreaking headset that still is $3,500.
So, we will not be something that gets to the mainstream yet, but still they are setting a very important direction. So, I guess that the greater problem right now with AR is the kind of experience that you can have. And this doesn't mean that there cannot be success use cases.
I mean, we all know about Pokemon Go and actually usually when I talk about over to somebody that doesn't know what they are, I usually refer to Pokemon Go. That is outpower for what that was that use case. I mean, they made build on South of that. Yet, we didn't see so many successful use cases after that.
And this is because yes, I mean AR is very accessible because you can have a good AR experience with mobile phones, but still probably not good enough to become the new way to interact with information. And I mean our vision is that this will be
the new way we interact with information, but this will let them assume as we have devices that have a quality that is good enough and also is accessible enough. And the reason why we believe in that is just that when you experience something in AR is just more competitive.
for your perceptual system. I mean, that's the reason why Apple has been pushing so much since so long in visualizing their assets, that the thing that they are selling in AR, because if you see something in AR, you get a much more stronger impression of that.
because our brain is wired to process assets in space. And on our side, as I was mentioning, our main focus in terms of platform is allowing for precise localization. And why is that? Because we are kind of old geez in this space.
We started the project in 2020 and launched in 2018. We understood how the precision of collectivization is critical if you want to really edit augmented physical work.
go quickly on that. When you do AR and use GPS, your precision is around 6 meters. If it's outdoor and is a perfect condition. So imagine that you want to augment a statue or augment a shop window. You're not sure that on
There are probably the content will not be there and what about indoor GPS doesn't work. So our vision is that the real portal, there are two portals to the AR-Metvers. So one is the hardware, but the other one is the localization system. And that's the reason why companies in Wales
to like niente that the launch successfully Pokemon go and Microsoft and Google itself is working in that direction. So our vision is really to build the web traversion of this portal of special data for the materiality of the Universe.
Got it and last but not least Adam from Victoria VR. I see that you guys are that that Victoria VR is in virtual reality and that you guys are also adopting AI tech in Victoria VR. Can you please elaborate on on both of these aspects?
Yeah, that's right. Before I start, I wanted to say that I completely are in the same line with everyone here because I believe that through definition of the metaverse is actually VR, AR, XR. It doesn't matter if it's AR, VR or XR, but this emerged
So AR, VR and XR is the new big thing and we are in the best sector I believe. We are focusing for VR and at the same time we started 2018 and AI is a very important part of our development. Right now,
Everybody is using AI, right? But we had AI sector two years ago, and we are using it to speed up not just our development, but also for the users. We are creating platform where people will be able to create something. And we are not just speeding out everything today.
But we are using it also that we are creating user friendly builder so everybody will be able to create something without programming skills and we see the future that you will be able to use it as a prompt so we just text you will be able to generate 3d
3D assets and immersive experiences. It's not there yet, but at the same time, all AI departments have some pretty cool stuff. So I believe that in the future will be same like today is easy to create a book or song or image or phone
We just text, we believe that this will be future also in the metaverse in virtuality in 3D spaces and that's what we are working on. At the same time, we are using AI for NPCs for generating more quests and so on and so on. By the way, we launch AI gallery.
that you can check it out, but I believe that it will be very important aspect in the future of the meta versus. Got it. And just a quick follow up. It sounds like you guys are, you know, working on a very complex project that leads a lot of developers. Could you tell the listeners more about the company behind Victoria VR?
Yeah, definitely so we started like they are go here 2018 and so far we had big success So right now we have 80 over 80 in house game developers We are actually one of the most technological advanced game developments to do in central Europe one of all
So we are gaming studio actually and we are focusing on VR only so we started before it was cool and now we are On the run to get 500 in house developers in next year
So I'd like to quickly give each guest another opportunity to speak a little bit more about their projects as well as how they see the future of XR developing. So moving back to Perule.
Talk to us a little bit more about the flametokin. Why would investors want to buy the flametokin? And how does that sort of, how does that marry with the development of XR in the future?
Yes, we were very intentional when we were fundraising for Firestarter to make sure that the folks that got allocation to Firestarter were strongly aligned with what our purpose is and what our vision of the future is as well as they could be powerful resources for our project.
to allow them to be maximized in an opportunity for successful and for the community investors to maximize the opportunity for profit. And so that includes one of the owners of Lionsgate Media famous rappers and artists like GEZ, it includes the co-founder of Twitch in
call it duty, it includes the co-founder of YouTube SalesForce.com, one of the chief legal officer of Ripple, etc. And these resources are available and following us in co-investing in many of our deals. We also have the biggest artist management companies, WME, the head of
blockchain as one of our investors as well. And so as a project, you'll get the most hands-on experience as well as access to these resources that have, in many cases, built out industries of their own outside of blockchain within the blockchain
chain space we have the co-founders of origin protocol, E-thirnity was strong representation in the NFT space, and then we're also advising Quintella graph, Berkeley blockchain accelerator, University of Washington, Deepok Chopra, and the
So this list goes on to really align with the strongest brands. We also have Tier 1 venture capitalists that come in and co-invest in a lot of our deals from A16Z to blockchain ventures, where LPs and light speeds, we really understand this space deeply. As a community member,
Flame right now hasn't we haven't launched a project for a couple weeks and before that it's been about a year because we understand that these projects depending on market cycles could be risky but we feel that the market is now prime for a series of launches especially
within the VRXR space and game 5 space. These projects have been marinating and being incubated for well over a year and some of the projects that we're most excited about. And this will be the first announcement of this project is matera by LandVolt.io which is tokenizing
Basically, it's a protocol for the metaverse and tokenizing metaverse experiences. They believe that the metaverse should be an infrastructure and a protocol. They've raised over $40 million. They are backed by fanbots, some of the biggest VR names.
for me, the metaverse names in the space, fan box, Snoop Dogg, as well as many other folks. I'm going to pause now because the background noise. Yeah, no worries. Let's get Till back on. How do you see the XR landscape evolving over the next few years?
The XR, yeah, the XR landscape. That's a really interesting question because I think that it was no surprise to anyone the direction that Apple took it. I think XR and AR is
It's the first time that I've actually seen kind of non VR enthusiasts get excited about the technology. So you can kind of already tell that that things are going to be quite different. But to speak to the future, I
still really truly believe that to create that metaverse, you do still need those three things, those three key ingredients. And you know that's that's number one, it's got to be VR, AR, number two, it's got to
be compatible. It can't be kind of locked up into a single platform. And then number three, of course, it has to have that persistent state, that constant state, that crypto
is, you know, natively very good at. And so I think that's why when the metaverse kind of first kicked off many moons ago, people did get excited about the marriage of those two things. So I still really believe that
crypto has a lot to do with the future of XR simply because it is the very best technology we currently have at maintaining a persistent state.
God forbid, but you know, if Fortnite switch off their servers, that's kind of it. Game over. Crypto allows true decentralized governance and true digital asset ownership. And I think that will only become much, much more important in the future.
Awesome can can agree more there. Let's let's go to Diego next. I have a rather technical technical question for you guys. I'd like to know how how how you
So how can 3D assets be accurately located in AR? So for example, how can we put a virtual painting on a specific wall inside an office?
Yeah, thanks for the question. So yeah, I mean this is the corner of what they're doing so so the way it works Is that I mean our community members can take enormous smartphone no light are needed just RGB camera take pictures of the location It's around 400 pictures with a guy
that I mean UX to do that is like five minute job and once we have that, basically we use AI to do two things. So one, we basically realign these features and we create a point cloud. So 3D representation of the structure of that location and this
point cloud is used for the creator to have an idea on how is the space to be dimensionally, but also is used by Nervika Beckham from our AI to just like our eyes do looking space and find points to relocate to in space. So it's like a
is very at the basic level is like trigonometry. So you see three points and you try to estimate what's in your position compared to that. And this is these are words through the camera string. So this is one of the products of what we do and the set of second product is what
is called technically a nerve. And the nerve is a neural render. Basically, it's a neural network that is trained on these pictures. And from these pictures, it can recreate the ambient. And it's not really a 3D, it's a basic and hallucination from the neural network of the 2D pictures depending on
what is your position? So is the digital greener delegation? So it's kind of funny because when I started in crypto I was mining Ethereum and I had like 20 GPUs. Right now we have 60 GPUs in the office just to basically run these algorithms. So basically this is harvesting
a 3D structure of the world in order to do two things. So, one to have the precisely called localization with trigonometry NII and the other thing that basically we produce is this digital to the location. And right now what you can see is this flight road, like having a visual drone around
the location but what we're going to enable in the next three months, actually we have a patent pending on that, is that you will be able to actually move in real time inside of these hallucinations from the neuron network. So again in this case I was also was interesting on the former questions because really we're bringing
together AR and VR. So we are creating a digital copy of the location and this digital copy both allows for precise localization but also allow for a representation a digital twin of that location that doesn't need 3D developers to create but just need pictures of the location.
It's like, you know, Apple was hinted to that, you know, when we, what they were talking about 3D pictures. So it's a kind of different technology they want that they're used, but basically the idea is the same. You will not have pictures anymore. You will have pictures where you can walk inside. You can
work inside your memories. This is the future of the meta-resignation. Awesome. And last but not least, we have Adam again. So what do you think are the characteristics of a VR project? Maybe from a high level that you think will succeed in the long run.
Yeah, so in VR we believe that the most important part or one of the most important parts are the graphics. That's why we are focusing on realistic graphics because right now so far everything is cartoon and I'm not speaking only about VR in crypto space I'm speaking about
about VR in general. Now the graphics sucks and we believe that the immersive experience needs realistic graphics. So we believe that the graphics is actually one of the most important part. At the same time, the game itself, because it's not adjustable the platform that you can build something
But it's about the users, about the gamers, it's about not just to make them come, but to make them coming back. So that's why we are focusing to get players, actually, the real gamers. Because right now, so far when we started, there are a lot of meta-res projects, but there are
putting together blockchain which is completely changing the world in gaming I agree but at the same time most of these games are games that we played 10 years ago 20 years ago so to really bring the gamers in
In the metaverse in the project, we believe that it needs to be something new, something crazy. So that's why Oracle is not just to be the best VR crypto VR project, but Oracle is to be the best VR project.
for the real gamers. At the same time, we are creating a builder, so everyone will be able to create their own immersive experience on the level that we are creating and will be able to monetize it because everything you create you own as a NFT on your land.
Thank you.
questions. If you guys have any questions, please request to speak and I will select you guys from the audience. But please remember to direct your question at only one of the speakers on the panel. So first up, we have Fly. Go ahead.
Hello sir, can you help me? Yes we can Sir, my question for Victoria? Yeah, go ahead, go ahead Sir, I wanted to know Do you have any plan for a held any contest like, meme contest?
content creator in future or are they are ongoing this when thank you.
are quitting the builder and there will be a lot of collaborations with creators. So definitely follow us and there will be definitely opportunities and in the future it will be like open world to you will be able to create your own experience and to build your ideas because we know that from the community
there are the best ideas. A lot of people have this kind of idea and so that's why we are creating the builder. So we are creating the tools that you will be able to use and express your ideas and build it actually. And at the same time there will be a lot of contests and already there that we are
collaborating with the creators and artists. Awesome. Next up we have AI bomb. Do you have a question directed at one of the other panelists? Yeah, I have a question directed so far as desert.
I just want to know in terms of investing in most AI projects, what are the requirements you tend to look into before I'm really investing into this project? Yeah, so first and foremost, you must have flame tokens, which you can buy directly from KuKong.
or you can buy it from Sendax or QuickSwap. Number two, you must stake these tokens and depending on how many tokens you have, you'll be put into a tier. And based on your tier, you'll get an allocation. Our allocations tend to be much bigger than other launch pads because we're working much more intimately with our projects.
So we either get bigger allocations or we're getting our allocation winners much bigger allocations. In addition, you must be located in an appropriate territory and we will make sure to follow all laws, local laws to make sure that
projects don't get in trouble. So locations like the United States don't qualify so you'll have to go through KYC and AML and then from there, stake your tokens and then you'll win allocation. We also encourage you to participate in the project social so you can follow
and learn more on our Twitter as well as our Telegram and Discord. I just listed four projects that were super excited. We just announced material land vault exclusively here. Again, they've raised $40 million. They're backed by some of the biggest infrastructure projects in the metaverse. They've been building for
since 2018 they're very profitable. We also have Corpo games which are the 100% plus game studio they've been building for four years as well. Their previous game was a number two game in polygon and we have one to 11 games which now has three and a half million users. This is how $2 million grand. And so if you apply a flametokin
And finally we have Victor. Go ahead. Any animatr? Yeah. Do you have a question for perhaps one of the two opportunians or Diego? Victoria, via. Sorry.
Michael Fungvar, Victoria. Okay, go ahead.
So, my question is what can we do solve the problem with the blockchain ecosystem?
is status is have implement for mature benefit and what benefit do you use your boohold you are token
Hey sorry I didn't understand correctly your question could you please repeat it? Okay, so my question is what can we do to solve the problem we have to be in the block
what is the status of this? I have been in parliament for natural benefit and what benefit do users who hold VR tokens get? Let's make it see.
Okay, so we are asking about the token. So in our ecosystem, in our world, everything is as an NFT and the only currency is Victoria VR token and you need to use it for every transaction. At the same time, we are creating the world with
No barriers for non crypto people because like I said we want to onboard the gamers that maybe they don't understand crypto They don't know how blockchain works, but so they will be able to purchase things with credit card or whatever
But on the background there will be always blockchain. And at the same time, everything you create, you own as a NFT. So once you want to send it to OpenC or to whatever, you will have it as a NFT.
Got it. Awesome. So yeah, so I, I think unfortunately we've run out of time, but I'd like to give you guys the opportunity to have a final chance to share some thoughts or anything of if you guys have any upcoming campaigns or where the audience can find more information.
about your projects. So why don't we go by the same order? So fire starter, Peru, go ahead first. Yeah, first and foremost, I would recommend everyone follow all the projects that are speaking today. Kucoin has done a very
thorough diligence between thousands of projects that have been listed to find the projects that have deep expertise within the space. And as Apple continues to shed light and put energy into this space, taking the baton from Meta, we assume and are forecasting predicting
around the corner before we get there, that this space will continue to grow as major distribution channels. I would encourage you folks to follow us on Twitter, but also some of the projects that we added to this group thread that we're incubating that you'd be able to participate in. And again, the best way to do that is by buying flame.
Firestarter is actually about to go on several other distribution channels. I can't say the names before they come out, but their community own distribution channels. And so I would advise you guys to reach out to us if you have any additional questions. And if you like the Xenon projects, then learn more. Follow us on Twitter. Thanks.
Until you're up next, go ahead. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, and again, like I'd like to thank my fellow guests and thanks Kucoin for putting this on. It's been it's been great. Yeah, look plutonians. I think the proof all I can do is point
to our track record, we have been building in VR through the bear market and we are still here. And we have shown our talent and our skill on all VR platforms and across all current.
leading metaverses, including VR chat and WebExR. We've got a major alpha patch right around the corner any day now. Stay tuned, definitely follow our socials for that. We're also investing more in WebExR and the XR infrastructure that will power this next
just great leap into VR, including plutonians warp worlds, which will be a WebXR and mobile-focused stuff. We've also got NFT launch coming up as well. Game jams and chip configurators and of course the big one,
which will be the beta. So yeah, lots of exciting stuff on the horizon for plutonians. Awesome and thank you very much for joining us today again. Let's have Diego go next. Well, yeah, first of all, yes, thank you for having me here. What I can say
We have quite interesting things coming out in the next month. I can say that the first one will be in two months. We will launch an override that basically brings for your NPCs. So you will be able to create avatars with these brains that can be personalized with their personal, with whatever
personality and knowledge you want and we are using state of the electrolyte-land-lage-lage models for that. And finally, if you happen to be at least one for NSE, I'm flying there today and we will have a very nice AIR experience in collaboration with Sandbox. We will have some
very famous characters are dancing over the buildings so you will be able to actually see what this data work technology can deliver in terms of precise localization and also collect an accessory pop with NFC and send box and over. So yeah thanks for your time and hope to see you there.
Thank you, Diego. And last but not least, again, we have Adam. Yeah, I also wanted to thank you for the support for the whole cook-on and for thanks to all of you, tonight's talk today. We believe that now what's coming is VR season.
and definitely you guys should go to our social media which is twitter and telegram and discord and we have some pretty good announcements pretty cool announcement pretty new stuff so check it out and we will be pushing next days so we're going forward to see
Thank you for your time.
And if you're interested in learning more about XR and how it relates to crypto, we have another, our final part of the three-part series tomorrow night at the same time, 9 p.m. Hong Kong time. So I hope to see you guys there. And again, really appreciate it guys. Good night. Bye.
Thank you. Bye. Bye. Thank you everybody. Thank you. Thank you. Bye.
