If you want to come up, Candy, I think I invited you to speak.
Let me get my G, uh,ricky Buddha up here as well.
I'm trying to invite you as a co-host.
But I hope it works, actually. Shoot actually shoot anyways we got candy up on the
stage what's up candy how you feeling how you vibing welcome to uh it's a battle day it's
battle day what's up i love battle days um i'm good I'm in Michigan. Still chilling. It's nice. Yeah. Everything's going good. How about you?
Shoot. I'm cooling, vibing, vibing, cooling, all of that. We got Django in the space too, man. Let's get it.
But, uh, yeah, yeah. Uh, definitely, definitely appreciate you for all the fire that you've been putting
in these files you know what I mean
by the files the secret files
so yeah shout out to you definitely
definitely extremely helpful yo
to send like the VO3 stuff to you.
VO3 is the pain in the butt, kind of.
Shout out to the frog one, yo.
That one went crazy, you know what I'm saying?
I was like, yo, I was laughing my ass off.
So, big shout out to you, you know, figuring it out, making it work, yo.
If you don't know about it, you should know about it.
It's where you get all these AI videos.
They're going nuts, you feel me?
But in the meantime meantime we got some folks
up on the stagey and the first one that came up was young tricky buddha
what's good it's tricky buddha from defy space donkeys powered by weed on soul get yourself a
bag of weed yo i think i got sick from the plane ride but you said from the plane ride yeah yeah bro me too bro i don't know what it is about planes these
days but they got some they got some infestations up in you're stuck in a tube with like 100 people
like it's it's and it's a closed circuit like for airflow it's terrible at least i like felt good you know the week that i was there
but i got home and slept for 22 hours yeah and then i took and i was up for like five hours and
i slept for another like 12 or 14 or something like that in the last like 48 hours i think i
slept like 36 of them nah same stuff happened to me bro like it was great on the trip you know what i'm saying it's
great being there and all this stuff but it's like as soon as you come home your body's like
i'll be back now all right now i can stop all of the all the blocks that i had up and you know
let you feel a full force of this tiredness and this sickness and all of that you know what i'm
saying yeah my back is also frozen. I smashed my tailbone.
I sat on a couch, and, like, between the two cushions of the couch, there was, like, a wood bar, like, right there.
That was the worst design couch.
I'm like, do I sue Airbnb?
But, yeah, my back's all fucked up now, and my tailbone hurts.
Like, it was hard to even sit on the plane.
But, yo, shout out to Candy, man. It was awesome to, you know the plane. Oh, it's crazy. But yo shout out to candy, man
I was awesome to be able to go and chill and I sent you a DM candy
I bought a bunch of food so you've got some food over there
Tell your neighbor to get the pineapple and the melon and either put them in the freezer or just take them in themselves
Yeah, I might be moldy by time you get back back. But they were not ripe, ripe.
I would give it to the neighbor.
Will do. Awesome. Thank you.
Yeah, it was great having you there.
I felt very honored to have so many legends in my house.
I got to stay in the AIOW house.
Everything was dope, man.
This is probably one of the best events I've been to.
And I was like, I had low expectations for New York
just because I knew it was going be a hundred degrees the last couple days
so it cooled down and it was nice there you go
me and Django and we got Zal on stage too always good to see you hurricane
like I joined you on the loans account and i was like is he not going live what's going
on now bro we've been flip-flopping between the loans account and this account so we still go
i have yet to see a loan space since we started this just saying you can't you can't just be
coming in here we had a loan space. We had a lone space yesterday.
We had a lone space yesterday.
Yeah, yesterday was long.
Don't be coming over here.
I know what I'm talking about.
Also, also, I pinned up to the top so folks can repost the space because we about to get into it today.
We got Django in the space.
I don't know if he's coming up or if he's playing Super Smash Bros, but we'll figure out what happens, man.
Definitely feel free to come if you want to come up because we doing something new.
We doing something new that's been brought to us by Zoll.
And it's not the thing that Smoke Wavy is talking about on the pinned tweet up top.
That's another fire shit that we got cooking up.
But we're not talking about that yet until it is ready.
But also, also tonight is going down Django song versus song battle.
But we doing it in a spicy, spicy way.
You want to give folks deets, bro.
I'm like, how this is going down?
Yeah, bro. I'm like, how this is going down. Yeah, sure.
So we're going to be having a preliminary battle today at 8 p.m. Eastern in a space where we take eight of Django's top songs and pit them against each other to see what will be the top song of Wave Wars.
So we're going to take eight songs today and do our preliminary battle to create four top songs.
And then from those four top songs, we're going to have two final battles today to determine our two finalists.
battles today to determine our two finalists. And then we're going to be having a 24 hour battle
on Friday into Saturday for our finale. So we're excited to try out this format,
see how it works, see the benefits on it, and see how it can be different than our
1v1 musician versus musician type battles. Here, we're really just trying to get um as much
attention toward django as we can um you know and and the songs that he's created in the past so
we can really put our full force behind this one artist and really focus in and i think it'll give
us a a new lever point for wave wars as well as this whole week is kind of going to be a Django week. So once we get those last two songs for this finale for Friday, we'll hopefully be able to clip up some of what Django says tonight about those two songs throughout this whole week.
So I'm really excited. I'm excited to see what song Django brings and what songs the squad likes.
So I'm excited to see what song Django brings and what songs the squad likes. So I'm hype here.
So like that's essentially the idea of what we got going on here.
Because at the end of the day, if you're not Taylor Swift or Drake or whatever,
how do you really get data as to what people are really feeling from your catalog?
like, yo, of course you can see, you know, the streams and blah, blah, blah. But a lot of times
those are like random people or this song may have popped off in the algorithm, blah, blah, blah.
But it's not like, you know what I'm saying? Accurate to the moment. You know what I mean?
So that's what we decided to create here at Wave Wars. So now we're going to see in real time what
the folks is feeling. And that's
really the exciting part of this because I love the artist versus artist battles. But this new
arena that we're playing in with song versus song battles and me versus myself type energy,
I think it's very interesting because especially if we start to see like some of the old songs beat the new songs i think that's
that's a really interesting you know scenario because it's like there you go like did did did
why did i get better of the time no i'm just playing hopefully you don't feel like that but
hey we about to figure it out today that's what's going down you can set your reminder up top on the
first pin tweet up top and yeah that's how we cook in that's what we're doing but yeah shout out to wave boys
shout out to everybody's working on behind the scenes candy has all been going absolutely crazy
you know these past few weeks or whatever you would call it months or blah blah you know i've
been traveling in and out going to all these different type of places to make sure we get fire-ass content.
So, yeah, we cooking, yo.
Just have some patience with us.
We're making it happen day by day.
But, yeah, looking forward to, you know, what can really blast off and come of everything that we've been created, man.
So, yeah, now let's figure out what my G Tricky has been up to because I ain't seen you in a minute, bro.
I don't know what you've been on.
Shout out to Elijah as well with the Zao account.
Shout out to Intelligent Stoner, Weed.
Tony, definitely feel free to come if you want to come up.
And yeah, man, Tricky, what you been up to, man?
What's supposed to be in the words?
Man, I've been in like four spaces in the last week.
It was weird. It was so weird. But I didn't bring my four spaces in the last week. It was weird.
But I didn't bring my computer with me to New York.
I was like, it's not, you know, not worth it.
I don't need to bring a bunch of, just a bunch of shit.
I didn't know how much I'd be like traveling or like carrying bags and stuff.
So I like, I packed light.
Brought enough underwear to shit myself every day,
but only brought like three pairs of socks. I don't understand. I didn't need like 25 pairs of underwear. I don't know how it made it in there. Uh, I was just like, damn, I haven't
actually shit my pants once, but like, I'm always prepared just in case. And it's a party, man. I was
expecting to go hard. go hard I only got like
maybe three or four hours of sleep like every night you know I was just I was
just so pumped and ready to go it was it was awesome I stayed in the AIW house
with Nessie Tom art out there art Shiba King McFly, Nessie and me were the only two non-affiliates for AIOW that was in that house.
Dude, the thing was three stories.
The two bottom floors were like, the first bottom floor is like a one bedroom, a bathroom, and the living room.
With a pool table and shit.
And the second floor was one two
three four more beds three more rooms and then the top was the roof we had roof access so it was
dope man it was so cool that place is like i don't know seven to ten grand to get it for a week. It was amazing. It was absolutely awesome
And I had some really cool photos. I took the last day
Let me see if I can put it up here
We went to an after party and it was on 450 and the buildings all around us are so tall
It felt like I was only on like the fourth or fifth floor because it's just huge
skyscrapers like going above us. It was nuts
Yo on a scale of one to ten how much of a troll is this Daniel character who just requested to speak?
I don't know about that one but shout out to my g prism
in the space man definitely feel really caught trade dizzy i see you dog and uh zon got his
hand up tricky getting the photos together what's up zon so pumped up fun releases a ios and android
app and my pumped up fun max he isn't gonna come and mention it they've been had app what are you talking about really yes bro they've been had app
but it's like they just like an app app yes app app on the app store they got an app store
for months bro it's been a long time but like they added stuff to it though if that's what
you talked about they added the movers tab they added the. But they added stuff to it, though, if that's what you talked about. They added the
movers tab. They added the live streaming.
what else they added, but a bunch of other
things. You feel me? And I actually want to...
Now that we got Tricky in this space, I want to
get his opinion on the quote-unquote
argument we had the other day. I also want to get
Prism's opinion. We didn't get
Oh, yeah. Check out up top, too.
I just posted those photos.
That's a bet. That's a bet.
Let me ask you this. The other
Yeah, these are fly, bro. This is like Gotham City.
look. The other day, we were having a debate.
Me and Zoll. And we were talking...
Shout out to Jimmy up here.
You know what I'm saying?
Definitely feel free to speak if you want to speak.
But yeah, we were having a debate the other day because I don't know if you guys noticed,
but Pumped Out Fun just came out with this feature where if you create a coin on there,
you can essentially live stream and whatnot.
And they're pushing all these live streamers and blah, blah, blah.
And like if you are doing dope stuff on there, they'll like promote you or whatnot.
And I had the argument that I was like, yo, this is kind of like TikTok.
Like kind of like TikTok in the super, super early days when everyone was dissing TikTok
and was like, nah, bro, I ain't going to TikTok, blah, blah, blah, blah.
a very interesting model for being a live streamer in the sense that you have your coin and every
time people trade your coin you get one percent of course twitch has subs and whatnot but uh the
idea of having like a token is is interesting because it's like people are like investing in
you being a live streamer and your content or whatever you want to call it which a lot of the internet is going towards so and you
know there's this kind of war between subscriptions and and tokens and all this kind of thing and it's
just interesting you know what i mean so i was we were talking about it we were debating about it
we were like yo if we were to run live streams like we should definitely have a pump fun topic but other people were like nah bro pumped up one is pumped up one bro is trash blah blah
etc etc so i don't know i just wanted you did not give a fair argument at all there bro what do you
mean how is that how is that not a fair you gave so much bias into that initial statement, bro.
We had an hour-long conversation, and I can give you five points that you made that were good.
And I do not think you can make five points on the opposing side of where you're at right now.
And to me, like, I just don't feel like you're listening.
Okay, let's hear the five points against your side.
I could definitely make two points.
You know what I'm saying?
The first point being, you guys said that, you know,
launching on Pumped Out Fun, the stigma, you know what I mean?
And I definitely included that in my little dissertation, you feel me?
And shout out to Lemon as well, man.
Definitely feel free to come if you want to come up.
But y'all said that point.
And then also, you guys had a point of like,
a token is like a big responsibility and whatnot.
And like, you know, you got to, I don't know.
Whereas I see it as like, if you're live streaming,
you might as well be on Pump Fun 2.
You know what I'm saying?
That's kind of my perspective.
Shout out to Noya in Space, man.
I would love to hear his opinion on this as well.
I want to hear what you're thinking because you were very much the ops on this one.
I think it's pretty simple.
Your goal is to test out streaming on Pump Fun.
You can achieve that without creating a
token because we've created the token already therefore I don't see a need to
create a token also there's a lot of cons to creating a token on pump that fun
you're looking for additional distribution I personally see the
community in the organic growth we've already created in distribution as a net positive.
And I see the incoming flux of traders from something like Pump.Fun getting involved with
our ecosystem to not only be immediately there to try and game the system and not care about
the artists, but then be also just not be of the same general ethos, whether that be in Web3 or just as human beings.
And then C, it's like, I don't think that making a token for the reason of live streaming
is the reason a token should be made.
So those are my like three biggest points, more than anything of like,
not creating a token to pump fun for something that also to me it's like
if you did this again a year into the future um from where we're at right now i think we'd benefit
from a token generation event more then so a little more content i mean context the compromise
we came to at the end of that space was we would live stream on our old token that was like there from like a while, while back.
So we're like, hey, we already created a token a while, while back so we can use that one to live stream on.
And then it's always like if it gets enough traction, then we we should or we can launch a token, which I agree i agree with and i was like yeah okay i see that
perspective you know what i'm saying because the real goal is to get what we're doing at wave wars
because i really think we're doing the coolest shit i really think this is like the some of the
coolest shit out here on the blockchain it's just barely anyone knows about it you know what i mean
so i've been like yo how do we showcase what we're doing, showcase our live traded
music battles in as many adjacent places as possible so that people that could be interested
could at least see what's going on.
Because making the thing is one thing, but getting it out to folks so that folks actually
see what's going down is a whole nother thing.
You know what I mean? So I've just been trying to optimize that process because if we're gonna do what we're
already gonna do if we're already gonna have our battles and whatnot it's best that we get it as
many as many quote-unquote storefronts or whatever's or like distribution whatever you want to
call it as possible you know what i mean so yeah that's how i've been thinking but uh let's get
these let's get these but uh let's get these
let's get these opinions bro let's get these opinions we got tricky up on the stage and we
got alicia up on the stage we'll start with tricky because you know he's been in the streets
you know what's up you know what i'm saying what's up tricky bro well i pretty much i agree with what
was all said in that aspect of you've already kind of got a token, right?
So you can stream that way.
And then you could mention, you know, we've migrated to base as well.
But yeah, I mean, in general, I don't go over there and shop.
It's like if a homie's launching something and I'll support.
But nobody should just go to PumpFun just to like shop for for potential coins
Yeah, it's just not a good idea
Luckily you can go to like soul scan and if you look at the social medias like there's like a little drop-down menu and
Sometimes I have like their website
But it has like rug checker and a whole bunch of different things like that
different things like that so you can actually like kind of vet the projects
So you can actually like kind of vet the projects through that
through that but it's still key can't do you can't really do much with a pub
fun unless it's a solid team and you just don't know you know all a little
apps help and the deck screener and all of them I think it's like 15 of them
that you can check through and get yourself some information really if it's
obvious red flags then you can maybe you know not touch it but sometimes there's no red flags you still
get rugged so it's it's tough i don't think it's really going to make a huge difference
in like people streaming over there versus just streaming anywhere i think it's better to probably
get like restream or something like that and just
multi-stream like stream on multiple platforms yeah yeah yeah that's definitely the idea
yeah that's definitely the plan bro it's definitely not to just just be there but like
yeah the idea is to restream on as many platforms as possible, including over there. But let's say what's up to Alicia, since I don't think we've met you before.
Hanging out in my family's sunroom right now.
Anyone that's new, you got to tell us who you are, what you're doing, why you came through.
I'm a friend of Tricky Buddha over here.
And I'm associated with a bunch of projects in Web3, such as the Hostile Crypto Halls, Irish Coffee Show, etc.
And I started getting into NFTs when I was in eighth grade.
I'm going to be a sophomore in high school.
So I'm going to be 16 this year on December 30th.
What is the younger generation, if you will, like think about crypto and a tease, all of
this stuff that's going on?
Not many of my friends are into Web3, unfortunately.
Not many kids in my generation.
Are you like the weirdo or whatever?
I wouldn't say I'm a weirdo but i am into crypto a lot my friends
don't understand about it when i try to explain it interesting so like yeah you're gonna be a
billionaire and they're oh yeah i've got like 50 nfts in my collection i think now
so what made you go into crypto when all your friends
i got into web 3 thanks to a project called megadeth digital which is
actually associated with the band megadeth
and oh so i met the co-founder of the hostile crypto hawks through them
so it was basically through music you like yeah and i know that a bunch of different
artists that i enjoy listening to have their own nft collections
an example of an artist is mike shinoda from lincoln park he has his own and a tea collection he has a bunch yo this is super interesting because you
know we've had this idea for such a long time that like you know music was going to bring a lot of
people into crypto and like it's it's like it hasn't really like fully come to fruition yet
like we're still like in that zone where we're still cooking
we're still making stuff but like the fact to hear you say that is very very interesting and like
it really it really helps that thesis yeah definitely i'm also knowing what i want to do
with my life after i graduate from high school i'm not leaving one three ever, by the way.
I'm wanting to be a professional musician.
I'm going to go to college after I graduate.
I'm currently learning the drums.
You're definitely very successful. I was going to say you're going to be successful, but you're already successful as we speak.
Yo, it looks like our guy Sean came up.
Let's see if he has some questions for you as well.
Another metalhead enters the building, and you think all I got is questions?
Megadeth, huge, classic, trash metal band. Of course, Lincoln Park, yeah, Mike Shinola. Awesome. Make it up. Huge classic
It sounds like you talking
through a pillow, bro. Like, what's going on?
Oh, okay. Hold on a second.
Man, these headphones are trash, man.
My Jabras don't work for shit when i'm talking on them okay well they're good for running and listening to music um but yeah megadeth old school
thrash classic i started web3 metal because i was seeing all those projects you know megadeth had one
ozzy had one but no one was like there was no like center place just to chill and talk about
web3 and metal so yeah those old
school you know og um projects were you know the reason i started web three metal and i'm here today
i think so yeah definitely uh interested very cool that the younger generations are getting into it
especially like the younger musicians and shit so yeah i give you a follow and definitely keen on
and hearing some of your stuff what you're into music and stuff. So yeah, super cool
Yeah, for sure. I'm into a lot of rock punk and metal music
Nice nice when I say punk some people think like fans like the clash sex
also not just that I'm into but also artists like
Avril Lavigne simple plans some 41 good charlotte that kind
of stuff too like 2000s punk as well pop punk i call that the pop punk right where they took like
the the hardcore aspects of it but then like they put like good hooks and stuff in it yeah yeah
that's cool awesome that's great when i say rock i don't just mean like Queen, ACDC, Motley Crue, that kind of stuff.
Like new metal and that kind of stuff.
I don't know if new metal sounds, but I'm into like Linkin Park, My Chemical Romance, Green Day, that kind of stuff as well.
Oh, yeah. I'm actually got a band shirt on right now
well sure it is a metalcore band called falling in reverse
solid like it oh yeah they're a good one are you a radki fan? Oh, yeah. My parents, well, my dad mostly got me into rock music.
I got myself into a lot of metal music, like Megadeth, for example.
Some examples of artists my dad introduced me to were, like, Queen, Metallica, Black Sabbath, ACDC, Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, Journey, that stuff.
air smith guns and roses journey that stuff so if you were to like call your favorite the top
thrash battle band between like you got slayer metallica anthrax megadeth and sepulturo who's
your who's the top thrash battle for you i don't really know i don't have a top yeah thrash people
you know it's like if people like megadeth like they're all in megadeth has like
their uh maxis for sure but like i'm i i i fall in the metallica simpultura uh scene so definitely
and in my school a lot of people get shocked at my music knowledge as well actually speaking of
megadeth fun fact about david mustaine y'. Y'all will be surprised that I know this.
So Dave Mustaine was a member of Metallica from 1982 to 1983.
He got kicked out in 1983 because of, I believe, alcohol stuff.
So he was replaced by Kirk Hammett.
Yeah, it's crazy how they all know each other.
Like, I know Billy Corgan and Wayne Static used to have a band back in the day,
and then they go and create Static X and Smashing Pumpkins.
It's so cool to hear those stories like musicians.
And I think that's what we're doing right here.
Like, we don't all share music influences, and, you know,
we're all sharing the genres, but we're all sharing this passion for music, i think that that means something so love to have you here for sure oh yeah and since
i'm a drummer one of my biggest influences in metal i would say is danny carrie of tool
in pop punk i'm influenced by travis barker of blink 182 a lot. For sure. Super solid, yeah.
There's a lot of drummers out there that
influence me a lot. Do you have a kit?
What kind of kit are you playing?
Despite the fact that it's a
I have a double bass drum pedal,
so it makes it easier for me to play metal songs.
That's the best way to start
before you can invest in the double kick, for sure.
I don't know if this song counts as metal,
but I learned Metal Health by Quiet Riot on the drums,
like a year ago. I've been a drummer for two years now and it's incredible getting
I've been a drummer for two years now,
drum lessons from one of my dad's friends. And Metal Hell, I always drum to that like
a beast for some reason. I don't know why, but I go fast after the part, that part, I go fast.
Like, I play the groove pretty fast.
Definitely dope to hear that you're so hyped about music, like, especially at a young age.
That means you got a very definitely very very bright future ahead of
you and then the fact that you're already on game to the to the web 3 stuff which is absolutely the
future like yeah oh yeah you set up you know what i mean let me ask you this what do you think is the
like of all the musicians that you've seen come to web 3 etc etc what's the coolest like
thing you've ever seen like music wise and what three um
i don't really know honestly but a couple artists are there like for example i mentioned mike shinoda
he has his own nft collection and i didn't know this at first
also Avenged Sevenfold, surprisingly
they now have an NFT collection
I'm not a holder of the Deathbats.
However, I have two Avenged Sevenfold
NFTs from the season pass.
And those guys are really cool.
The way they were designed,
Nah, I feel that to the max.
Did they come with any perks or anything like that?
I got to look at some of them.
They're all different, the perks.
Yo, they had one where they were selling merch,
and you could scan the tag
and you got to mint an nfd off of it like avenge sevenfold's ahead of the game man like
man those guys like they are doing so many they were in like they had like a vr world back in the
day when i was first getting them on board and stuff so yeah i i uh really appreciate how Avenger 7th Folds been pushing the team. Yeah, look at their NFTs right now.
If I can see the collection.
Pretty sure I can find it somewhere.
I went to this event for NFT NYC.
And they had OpenSea with a free mint.
Nice little freebie, man.
what are you about to do with the $130?
Oh, it's already spent, man.
I overdrew my account while I was
Oh, man. Let merew my account while I was in New York. Oh, man.
Vajji said, let me get back in the green.
Yeah, it feels good to be in the green a little bit.
Especially after that trip, man.
And I feel like there's a lot of artists out there that are really interesting to me when I find a new one.
In metal, like, for example, I've been finding Sepultura.
I haven't heard of that band before.
And I'm like, every time I find a new band online, I'm like, huh.
I wonder their history and their background and things like that, you know?
Of course, yo. That's like a part of their... Like I look around at their background and things like that you know of course yo that's like a part
of like i look around at their background that's part of the music discovery journey like that's
part of the yeah i mean i'm interested to learn for myself about sepultura for sure
sepultura is classic like uh you know obviously max and igor were brothers and max ended up
doing soulfly which was like one of the keystone new metal bands
So yeah, they're one of the first like death metal bands like they really played a lot with their sound
So glad to hear you doing that. They got a little bit of that like a tribal rhythm in their drumming
So are you are you working that kind of aspect into your style?
I mean, I'm like I'm actually working on surprisingly a pop song right now on the drums in my lesson.
I'm working on Billie Jean by Michael Jackson.
Well, that's super solid.
But definitely, I definitely want to learn artists like Judas Priest and Korn, that kind of stuff.
Why did I think Sepultura was an American band at first?
Because I looked them up and it says Brazilian.
Learn something new every day, man.
I didn't know they're from Brazil.
Honestly, though, like y'all talking about this metal stuff, bro, I think a metal music battle would just be so lit, bro.
Especially if it's like on camera, bro.
Like you could see the real, shit. You can see the
drummers going crazy, the guitars going crazy.
Their drummer, Eloy Casagrande,
he's actually the drummer for Slipknot
Wait, Slipknot is still making new
music? I guess so. They're
touring at the moment, I guess.
I saw Slipknot last year, man, at
Sick New World. We've seen, like, how many
times have we seen Slipknot? Nine plus? Ten plus? we've seen wait like how many times have we seen slipknot nine plus ten plus seventeen almost damn near twenty times probably
i've heard pantera before i've seen pantera in months yeah
hold on let's say what's up
the point with Metallica that...
Hello, hello, hello, hello. Let's say what's up to Katie
who got ahead, though. What's up, Katie?
I think, too. Really? Do they? I didn't know about
Oh, that seems about right. That's when I think Slippin' Out
was coming out with their stuff. I there's a few yeah last cycle yeah system of a doubt we used to rock out to do
i don't think they had that i know slipknot has an nft collection i found that i'm like what
wait according to this system of a, Search Tankian has launched a unique
NFT collection titled Not for Touching
the Intangible Composition.
The collection presented by
pieces that combine art, music,
digital paintings, and animation.
The exhibition is both virtual and
physical with interactive online galleries
Like, do y'all think NFTs will make a comeback?
There's a lot of projects that are still going.
Like, for example, the Hostile Crypto Hogs.
What was the question, Hurricane?
I was asking if you guys think that music NFTs will make a comeback.
I mean, a lot of artists would want to make digital assets of their music.
Like, it's hard to explain what I'm talking about,
but, like, I feel like a lot of musicians want to try something new with it, with digital marketing.
Like Search Tank In, for example, what he did, if you get what I mean.
I think the option to be able to tokenize something else like a discord or whatever it would be super popular
and for vip status and stuff like that to access to be able to see the bands and everything that's
that's definitely kind of where they're going to lean um and spills attract everything so much
easier and cheaper right transactions are cheaper i mean i don't know if you've ever bought a ticket
through um like ticket master or what's the other one called?
I have bought tickets through Ticketmaster for two concerts, yeah.
And the tickets that I have for the Lincoln Park concert, my mom got in my Ticketmaster.
That's when my mom buys concert tickets if I want to go to a show.
See, for example, like, if I want to go to, say, Falling Reverse, my mom would get tickets to there.
Well, she doesn't have any choice. That's the problem.
Crypto Magazine has this liquid NFT marketplace where half the money is stored in a liquidity pool created for each
individual NFT. So if you could do like tickets like that, imagine having like a, you know,
Woodstock back in the day and you've got, you have like a souvenir ticket. I mean,
people are selling their old tickets for a fortune. It's kind of crazy. But you could have
like that commemorative ticket still, or you could just literally cash it out for for the, you know, the value in that liquidity pool.
Why did I not think of that, Tricky?
Why did I not think of that?
Because you're not not like you're not an OG in the space.
You've been here for a year.
If you can think you can make it happen. Like if you can think it you can make it happen like if you
can think it you can cut it yeah yeah and i'm super excited for the concert i'm gonna be going to
soon in like i think 31 days now let me check my countdown app i believe it's in 31 days
yeah 31 days till I see Linkin Park.
Whoa, I couldn't unmute there for a second.
I think what's really going to make a big difference is,
I mean, obviously you don't get paid anything off of Spotify or these other streaming platforms.
Well, unless you're a musician, like, on that platform.
No, they don't make shit over there.
They make pennies for hundreds of thousands over there. Really? Yeah, yeah.
They make pennies for hundreds of thousands of people. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Every stream is 0.0003 cents.
So it's like one third of a penny for every stream, just about.
and i'm really excited that well i'm looking forward to seeing if other artists will do
And I'm really excited that...
their own nft collections no it's definitely it's definitely looking forward to seeing that yeah
it's definitely coming but uh uh like the ways it was in the past like how people were like
dropping their own collections and whatnot i think
that is kind of it may come to an end i'm not saying it will absolutely come to an end but it
would need some kind of revamp or something like that but uh yeah if if slash when a a fire
platform comes through and is able to like allow people to invent their music and actually sell it a lot yeah that would be the thing that starts the the prison's platform is gonna prison's
platform is gonna definitely like accelerate if you can play your music easily then people
will want to buy it more but we say we got a hand up got candy what's up candy
um yeah so i actually i made a tweet about this uh the other day or this weekend um i really see
that like i can see wave wars being like another part of the like another piece in your marketing
tool belt kind of um for musicians because um i think you have like streaming you have social
media you've got like concert tickets you've got
you know music sales and then you can have wave wars battles and for one like it's cool because
it gives like early artists it allows them to like monetize and like make some music immediately
you know like it could just be like a guy that came up with something last night in his basement with some stuff.
And then, you know, they could do a wave wars battle.
And like, if it really is that fire, then like he could be, you know, walk away with stuff.
And then, too, I see it as like, for one, it's it's very valuable for it's really hard to get a lot of attention all at one time, like on one platform.
And with the past music battles, even whenever it wasn't on the platform and we were just doing them live,
it really garnishes a lot of attention at the moment, at a certain specific time and all on one platform. So I could see even album release type battles.
They could do the songs versus songs on the album,
or even maybe just a battle and one of the artists is releasing the album.
It gathers all these people together and it lets them like enjoy the music with other people before purchasing it um and to like when you look at it
from a marketing perspective um when you come to like a wave wars battle you already have the
intent to buy like you already have your wallet out and you're already mentally prepared to spend
money and that's that much further down
like the marketing funnel to like an actual completion of a sale um or like a purchase or
whatever your end goal is um so i i see that like you know this it could really be for one for big
name artists it could be like a huge you know live sort of event to like, you know, figure out which song is the best or maybe two people release an album or whatever.
And then to like I think about it, like after Wave Wars Battle, I'm always like want to buy the music.
That was my favorite. So I think like between I feel like if we had Wave Wars, you know, Battle, and then afterwards you could either mint the songs like singly.
Like I was thinking like if we had like a music marketplace that's like then, you know, you mint it and then you can listen to it right away on M3.
I think that would just be super fire because like I said, you already have your wallet out and like whenever it comes to YouTube videos, you know, in the way that creators monetize, they're paid off of how don't get crap for commercials on your channel because kids don't have any purchase power so they can't like actually buy anything and it's too hard to
do the whole convert the parents and all that and that's short amount of time but like when it comes
to watching um you know how do i start my business or like finance uh, those they get paid the most per mile, which is per 1000 views, because
everybody that's watching that they already are intending, they already have their wallet out,
they're in mindset to spend money. And I think that's exactly what we're creating for artists
and for their music and the opportunity to purchase their nfts because the same thing with the concert
is like you go to the concert you experience the music and all the stuff and then afterwards
everybody floods to the you know souvenir gift shops to get some sort of thing and then that's
like because you're the most ready to purchase at that time so i feel like if we have a marketplace
that to where as soon as the battle's over, like those songs that were in the battle, you could either invent singly or it's all together as whatever.
Or there's just something to purchase from the artist.
And then right away, you can listen to that NFT in M3.
I think that would be a golden funnel from a marketing perspective.
So Prism, go ahead and make yourself a platform with
music player. That's kind of what we
need, right? Unless we can link them all
ag layer, it should be easier too.
What was that, Hurricane?
I know you just came in here
You need to rewind and listen to what Kandi just said
Kandi just went crazy, bro
She just went absolutely crazy
And definitely shout out to you, Kandi
And especially when you talk about the
We would go crazy with that on Wave Wars.
So like anybody on that that's on that, yo, anybody that's about to release, yo, definitely hit us up, bro, because we'd love to put you on.
I think one of the funnest parts about this whole Wave Wars thing is giving artists exposure, like is putting their music out there.
Because when people are involved in these music battles,
people actually listen to the music.
And, like, a lot of times people actually like the music.
And we're like, yo, I want it somehow, someway.
Even myself, there's been multiple battles where I've been like,
So, sheesh. Yeah, I think that's a great idea, Candy.
Somehow we need to, I'm glad we have it recorded.
But, yeah, that's the plan, yo.
We just got to pitch that to folks so that folks understand.
So, yeah, freaking fire, yo.
I think Sean has his hand up first, and then we can get this all.
candy because like i've said i've been looking through distribution roadmaps and definitely
saw you guys as like obviously part of a promo package but like she's right like i'm looking at
my right here i'm like writing final mix prep distribution setup right then you can start
doing little teasers on wave wars just to get people
interested it doesn't have to be after everything's released and done you know i got one done pretty
mixed so i could start you know teasing that more and i could be in the battle so i definitely think
that uh i agree with her that it's obviously going to be part of this ecosystem and this promo
machine and we have lots of cool builders doing different stuff that'll all be
Shout out to Rocky in the space,
Shout out pyro definitely
feel free to come up y'all want to come up we do got to close the space soon though but like if you
want to come up y'all i'll extend it so you can talk to the new folks but uh in the meantime can
i say one more thing real quick i was just i forgot because this is always going to want to
comment on this too because part of that could be like proof of attendances too uh like if there's a way to have like a soulbound token connected to like showing up to the wave
wars or this or that i mean it's all going to be meaning to do that let's um hurricane do we want
to do an unlock protocol i was also going to make a luma link um with our previous zauchella
calendar so anyone who attended zauchella and signed up for the Luma
will start getting our Wave Wars battles as like an event
that people can sign up for.
It's been on my back burner, but millions of things going on.
So I'll make sure I get that done before the end of the day today
so that we can create the like, I don't know, what do we call it?
Round Robin today and finale on
Friday. Um, something like that. So I'll get that, uh, shot over to you, Hurricane and Candy,
and I would love any feedback on that. I'll get that done by today though.
Let's giggity go, go, go. Who says that? Quagmire? But, uh, yeah, I think you have something else to say, Zol. What's up? What's up? Yeah, yeah.
I just wanted to tell everyone that Zao Bootcamp is in full session.
He launched a music NFT yesterday on Bass ETH using Third Web.
So we're really excited to get Django just more involved with Web3.
There's going to be 10 editions of his
original song. That was the first song that ever came out, Wide Awake, which for me was my first
positive some interaction in a musician's life. So it's a very special moment to me.
I believe there are three different mixes that are available so if you buy the um the original
song you're gonna get um two additional mixes that he's been working on since you can talk
more about it today um in the excuse me in the space but if you want to check it out check out
jango uu it's w but it's spelled with two u's dot com and that'll forward you over to that third web page where you
can take a look and uh and claim that uh on base eth so we're really excited to just like um be
able to now replicate that and uh and be able to teach more musicians how to just like off cuff be
able to get 98.5 percent of the uh the the dollar that's spent by your consumer. And I think that's huge. ThirdWeb is one of the
few platforms out here that I believe is doing right by its creators with a pretty minimal fee
of 2.5% to use their UI. But you actually get control over all these smart contracts and
everything is still in your control.
They're just giving you formatted smart contracts.
I think that's a really solid service in this space.
And to me, 2.5% is super worth that in this day and age.
So we're super excited to start sharing that out more.
I personally am actually posting an NFT a day of previous photographs that I've taken from my life.
So the first one is from a photo in Capri, Italy from 2016.
And the second one is from 2014 as well.
So I'm working on my own couple little things behind the back end.
And one of the cool things about third
web is because you own the smart contract even though django is selling um the song for ten
dollars he's able to airdrop or claim um and send it to someone for free so i i'm gonna leverage
that as a as a something of an of the sort whether it's something like what tricky does with his subscriptions or um or or something of the sort to just kind of airdrop all of these uh
all these nfts as i make them to the to the community and the squad i might just use people
who have the zao um token right now right and just airdrop it to everyone and say it right
so i got a lot of ideas cooking and i'm just ready to play more on chain. I think
we're at the right moment of being able to unlock that side of things and really focus on, okay,
now we do all this talk and walk of the onboarding, but like actually being on chain and transacting
on chain, what troubleshooting issues you get on chain, and learning more about actual
web three by participating. so i'm just excited to
be in that part of our life and uh if you guys ever want to check out what what jango's cooking
up definitely tap in with him let's go yes he's been going crazy man he's been going crazy in all
type of ways so yeah big shout out to you man follow him if you want to stay tapped into a lot
stuff that's going on blockchain especially music wise you know and like everything he's building
with the zao bringing talent together folks cooking together building together zao is doing
incredible things yo so follow him if you are asleep everybody should be following by now i
think if you're not i don't know what you even over here for. But, yeah, also, also, later today, we have a new battle with our G Django, with our live traded music battle technology.
First and only place in the world to experience music this way here at Wave Wars is going down once again tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
And that pin tweet is the first pin tweet all the way to the right on top
to set your reminder for that.
So if you want to see the future of music,
if you want to see the future of music battles,
if you want to see the future of music promotion,
if you want to see the future of music on the blockchain,
it's all going down tonight, 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
Definitely, definitely come through and enjoy the vibes with us.
He's going to be showing us five music
as well as telling us how he cooks it up.
I don't know if he's going to tell us everything,
but he might tell us some things.
I know the tips that he's been giving on Instagram
have definitely helped me when creating music.
So that's also an exciting part of what's going down today.
But yeah, it's him versus him today.
So the way he's looking at the mirror in his profile picture right here is exactly what's going down later tonight, man.
So, yeah, shout out to our G Django.
We're definitely hyped for that.
But, yeah, that's it for the space today.
We will be back tomorrow, 11 a.m. Eastern Time on the Wave Wars Vibe Session.
So if anyone has questions, anyone is interested in the battle we have later today and wants to talk about that or, you know, has feedback or whatever on all the stuff we build in and all the fire stuff that, you know, this community is building.
feel free to come through and chop it up because you really get in first-hand experience to talk to
fire builders like here in real life on the ground floor you know which is absolutely insane
so yeah we got we got uh sean with his hand up tricky and muting everybody what's going on bro
what's up sean what's up nothing i was just gonna say because it was because I just got the idea that you could, have you done or considered being able to do the Wave Wars live,
like a live battle of the band's Wave Wars?
So like people are watching the band live while they vote?
Have we considered this is the dream?
We would love for the Web3 Metal Battle to be live music um i think that um is a lot
better on streaming and as well as just like the experience as a whole um is 10 times better
um so yeah if we can rock that out for our web 3 metal event as our first live wave wars v2 i
think that would be a phenomenal way to rock it out yeah bro you
got our numbers you got the back channels bro let's let's put it together man let's put it
together we've been talking about it we've been talking about it it's time to be about it bro
you feel me so yeah that's coming to live instrumentalists live singers uh uh live music
artists blah blah definitely hit us up.
We're definitely trying to get you on camera, get you in the zone, get you live, going on these Wave Wars battles, yo.
Get your name out there, get your music out there, and most importantly, get you some soul as well.
So, yeah, definitely shout out to everybody that came through.
Closing the space in the next 10 seconds.
Feel free to say whatever you
need to say remember battle going down tonight 8 p.m set your reminder top 10 tweet on the right
