and welcome back to our morning coffee wax wednesday space today we're starting off the
familiar face um we have marius from daniel games um the team behind avalon an open world fantasy
mmo plugged into wax um the last time we had Mario's on, I think, was back in April.
They're talking about the transition, I think, from the alpha into the beta.
So I'm excited to hear kind of what's changed since then,
where things are headed next.
So as a quick heads up to everyone listening,
also keep your ears and eyes open.
Mario's going to be giving away some Avalon Game Passes today,
so stick around and hear how you can score your own.
As always, nothing shared here is financial advice. If you hear how you can score your own um as always nothing shared here
is financial advice you hear about a product you're interested in make sure to give them a follow
um and do your own research on that so without further ado marius it's great to have you back
welcome thank you um for joining us and how are you doing today
all right there was some issues with the microphone.
Well, thank you for all the claps.
I appreciate that always.
And thank you for the invite.
Probably one of the best hosts in the Web3 space, Tommy, over the last almost four years
since we've been here. I'm three and a half, almost on four going on since we are here. in the web-free space, Tommy, over the last almost four years
Three and a half, almost on four going on since we are here.
Since April of 2022, and Tommy has been around in hosting
Box and supporting all of you guys, little creators,
big creators, getting it going for us.
And thankfully, we're located, I believe,
in the same time zone, which is great.
Maybe everybody always says, oh, wait till the end
and we're going to tell you how to get the process.
Well, I'm going to flip the coin here
and I'm going to tell you at the beginning
how to get everything so you have actually time to get stuff.
And then at the far end, I may change one rule
and you get suppressed. And then at the far end, I may change one rule and you get suppressed.
make sure you follow all our social media,
which is follow up the X that you see here,
join our X channel, then basically read there on the top
and you will see there's our YouTube channel,
follow that one, Follow definitely our YouTube.
We have tons of great videos there from the production,
from the early 2022 times when the game was kind of funky looking project
all the way till today that we think it's on par of a really good AAA studios,
aside of animations, of course, but the gameplay is there.
And follow all our socials and definitely join our Discord.
Once you join the Discord
and you have all the social proof, just
open the ticket for players
wallet and we drop the yearly
pass to you. That yearly pass
allows you unlimited access to all our
that will come from certain missions into your wax wallet
we're trying to add a little bit fresh community so we welcome everyone we're open to any
constructive criticism about the game we really need um a watch for eyes and a fan base here
um so that is how to get the pass, and I'll repeat it later on.
What was the first question, Tommy?
The question was, how are you?
Yeah, I just started my double Nespresso coffee,
so I guess I'm doing great.
I think I'm going to be awake in a second.
It's been a heavy process of running
It did take toll on the team,
community loves and supports and
helps us build. And I think there's not a lot
of projects that survived even on wax
We're preparing for launches.
We've been approved by Xbox.
Just building more and more friendships.
We've been just approved by Xsola
as one of our publishers,
which is one of the largest publishers
and stores for indie games that exists.
Like XLS, one of the top ones.
You see Dune there and tons of great titles that go there.
So we are one of their titles currently.
And thank you for asking, Tommy.
I hope you're doing great.
I mean, the weather, guys, is incredible.
We have our palm trees, our beach here
in Newport Beach, California.
I can't complain. Just the next day we get
So I don't want to preach here too much,
but just enjoy. Whatever you do today,
guys, just enjoy to the max.
That's really good advice
at all times. Definitely to
enjoy what's around you and
take it in. Take a moment to look around and enjoy what you got, right?
Tomorrow brings new things.
It's just the promise of tomorrow.
So these guys always remember that.
All right, so let's talk about a little bit.
When I last talked to you, we were talking about the beta.
So when you were here in April, we mentioned transitioning from alpha to the beta.
So the first question I have about that is how has beta gone?
How has the progression been?
What have been the biggest milestones or improvements that have been yielded out of the beta?
improvements that have been yielded out of the data?
Well, when we spoke last time in April,
we were finishing alpha version 4.
That could be already called beta a long time ago,
but I decided to still keep on calling it alpha
as the main inventory system was not changed.
We have begun work on our inventory system
in September of last year.
And it just ended, I would say, a month ago.
This is the main change because everybody's like, well, what is the big difference?
Well, the big difference is that we're running on free chains and you can play all in one group.
And our systems need to understand where you came from and properly
distribute your rewards and nfts and avalon currently has over i think over 600 different
items in a game that you can collect in a world and over 100 different nfts that you can collect
and for us the as a small team the technological challenge was the proper inventory,
not duplicating of items,
items not disappearing from your inventory,
properly saving when you die,
properly saving when you exit the server.
So that's been the largest challenge for us.
this took significantly longer than we were hoping
it's going to take take so i know the community
has been where why is not beta yet well it needs to work first before we release it so we're just
still holding up we're in um i would say last finish in weeks of our beta before we released
it to to the current pass owners only um i mean, alpha servers are live, guys.
The game has over 200 hours of gameplay.
You will get lost in this world.
You don't really need additional expansion in this second.
It's been live nonstop since January of 2023.
In December December really,
but January 2023 we started.
just for those that want to be hyped up for beta.
which we're not trying to hit for the MMO
because we're not massive multiplayer.
We're more of like 10 people co-op
where you just join the groups
and you go in teams and do raids.
There's not 100 or 200 people
at the same time in a mob.
I find it difficult on maintenance on the back end,
a little bit overwhelming for players even.
You don't really need to run that much through the people.
A 10-player co-op is mostly what we would like to be called the online cooperation,
up to 10 players in the rate.
Avalon currently has six characters that are playable in different classes,
like you guys can see in research.
This is a lot for any game, to have six separate characters that trace and save
everything in the blockchain which means your stats and your in your levels right uh we have
additionally added a female versions of vikings that were really asked by the community so now
our vikings have a female and male version of the character and um a giant upgrade for us is we brought this she's not an nft but she will be our core female
character um her name is morgan lefay she's like this redhead dropped it gorgeous night
um that i know people go will go crazy and we have one of the very i cannot say who but we have one of the very, I cannot say who, but we have one of the top world Celtic singers
that's coming to take her voiceover
that has millions and millions of followers.
We're going to really make this character up
equally to our Temporary Grandmaster or Inquisitor.
I strongly recommend going on Twitter
and going down and scrolling what we did with her. So that is one of the big updates. It's beautiful. I strongly recommend going on Twitter and going down and scrolling what we did with her.
So that is one of the big updates. It's her. It's fully playable in beta.
Another beta update, like I mentioned, is brand new inventory system.
Now you can dismantle your weapons and take the items inside of these weapons and craft something else or um you know just sell
them um you can now hear ships which is cool you can now milk cows which is great right all these
little little add-ons uh we were just announcing today that um our witches got voiceover so now
they they laugh they curse they they talk to you, they sell you different stuff on the voiceover.
We have one of the most talented sound guys from,
also I cannot say what company yet,
but it's a really, really good voiceover company
that helps us with all the sound.
And you will see more immersion when it comes to the sound in this game.
And I'm sure everybody that is following our Twitter
saw that after two years of work,
we have added finally the water dragon, the green one,
that is only ridden by druids.
Everybody was waiting for the third dragon.
It's there. It's gorgeous.
There is gorgeous as a saddle.
You can fly it first camera and third camera.
Another update, we have added additional third version of the camera to the game.
So you can do first person view, a standard behind the character view,
or far zoom in view that we didn't have previously.
So you can play far behind, or you can be close,
or you can literally inspect everything with your eyes.
So I think these are the main things.
One of our guilds sponsored a tavern map.
So we have this beautiful tavern with different events
going on there, a bunch of goblin bands that play for you,
different music that you order.
You can get drunk with special drinks.
There is brawling going on there.
It's a beautiful new map with the usual fishing,
a little bit hunting, a little bit trolls.
And this is pretty much the newest update that you guys
will see will be that map that you will land.
And as you've seen it in World of Warcraft,
they call them tutorial maps.
So it's not very overwhelming.
just couple quests teaches you about the game if you feel like it's your thing you go further so
that will be the the most of the updates that we did the beta is not live yet the alpha version 4
is still all the servers are live on the beta you will need to guys wait a little bit longer and
On the beta, you will need to guys wait a little bit longer.
I promised everyone there's going to be a five to eight year project.
So I'm sure you can be patient while you can still play the game.
I think it's great to be able to play while waiting.
I think that's one of the things I liked about Steam on the early access,
personally. I saw, I wanted to talk a bit about the community.
You mentioned how they've been a part of the development of Avalon.
You mentioned like the female Vikings, something they were clamoring for was the third dragon
be released through Radobor the Druids, like you just mentioned.
I also saw that you have on your Discord, you have like a bunch of
mini fireside chats scheduled with Avalon's community. So I was curious to ask about that.
Is that the, is that your most preferred way to provide new updates to the community over like
social media or blog posts? How was it that you landed on like short weekly updates?
Not every fire chat will happen that's posted there.
We usually kind of remind people if we do one,
we try to do one once a month if there's more stuff going on.
I think that fire chats are good.
If community wants to come together and throw ideas and just have a live conversation.
I may start doing more of access, I guess, because people, I believe, prefer that way these days because it's easier on your phone than the Discord fire chats.
But we have that with the screen sharing.
Players show what they don't like, what they like.
It's been extremely helpful in Alpha currently because majority of our community already
completely finished the game.
They have levels 300, they have all the gear that they can, they just have everything,
They're not actively participating in these until we launch beta because then there is
something to talk about when all the new mobs are there and new issues coming out.
The game has been designed and built by our team,
but there is a significant amount of stuff in the game
that community players, with our agreement,
were able to bring into the game.
So we have quests designed by the community members.
We have pets named by community members.
We have locations named by the guilds.
We have NPCs placed in the map, giving the quests or teaching
historical facts designed by our Nordic community that is really
active on the historical side.
If someone always had the desire and dream
of bringing something to a fantasy game,
We're going to overlook it.
And perhaps, finally, you're going to get something
that you always wanted in a game.
Maybe there's something that you want to teach people.
Maybe there's historical facts
that you think people should know.
We like people to bring brilliant ideas.
The more minds, the better product is.
The game is not a serious game
in a way like you will have plenty of laughs.
There's plenty of internal jokes,
plenty of crazy things happening.
It's not this typical boring medieval game.
It's more of an RPG fantasy with a little twist on the jokes.
So I don't expect from this to be a stiff type of a game.
More of like a Witcher spin with some crazy humor going on here and there.
I mean, there's tons of jokes.
Every fisherman will talk back smack to you.
There's an incredible amount of stuff that we put into this product
that I don't want to really spoil.
The NPC interactions are not...
And I want to clarify it for everybody that's here,
here and it's all AI crazy. Let's get to this one for just 60 seconds of the stream.
Let's get to this one for just 60 seconds of the stream.
I don't believe in AI NPC interactions. I think people that pay for the premium product
should get a premium service. AI NPC interaction is not a premium service.
When you pay for this game, when you come and play play to us when you buy any products that you do
you put the food on the table of families
you don't put the food on the table of corporations
that have servers and we're cutting the costs down
an AI and PC interaction in this game
I just see a lot of companies, they're blowing up.
Everyone is going to remember what you...
That's what you guys want in these games?
I don't think that's what you want in these games.
I think when it comes to AI, and my time is running out here on this one,
is why don't we have AI companion that follows you
and remembers what you're supposed to do and gives you advice?
But you're not going to see AI voiceovers.
You're not going to see AI quest lines.
It's just not going to work.
So I'm just letting everybody know we're not AI crazy.
We are AI support crazy, but the game is not going to be,
this is your next AI MMOmo let's let other people do
that let's we see what the community says about it and and and then maybe in the next project we
do something i just want to let you know guys that our writers in scotland are getting paid
our writers in england are getting paid our voiceovers whatever the country we have them
from and it's like pretty 13 different voiceovers
that we have, there are just
guys and girls just like you
that need to get another Starbucks
or need to do the car payment.
people that just are talented,
and we have to make sure that
everybody's paid. So that's kind of
my two cents about AI. Sorry, I got distracted.
Ready for the next one. No, I think that's a good point. You brought up like the follower
that follows you around. It kind of reminds me of Navi, I think from Zelda. I think if you're
using AI as a tool to help increase productivity, I think that's a great thing to do. I also agree,
I don't think it should be a replacement for art or for creating a lot of stuff like that it doesn't need
to be a replacement there should still be it takes something out of it personally that's what i feel
helpful too yes yeah i was gonna i was gonna ask about like how the community kind of influenced
that one but you hit it already like with different like special quests named pets special locations
and different common pieces of the game. It sounds like there's a lot of interaction.
Yes, yes, yes, Tommy. So the biggest things, and I want to mention to someone that is leading a guild or knows guilds here.
Guilds like to have the treasure tokens in the products in the game to show their strength in a
name we have multiple very big not not very but very large game game guilds in avalon so as a
guild you can found a town then all your guilds guildmates are moving into that town you can build
it you can run businesses in it you can name name it. You can name characters in it.
And we are not built games.
So you don't just run to the mob and you use a software that builds all the stuff for you.
I'm not completely against it.
It's just not how we do it.
And you just go like in your brand new community that you really like.
I want this one oceanfront.
And you can claim them in the game immediately if you own the NFT.
You can share the houses with your friends and guildmates.
You can give them access to your chest so they can unload stuff.
We're a very community pro-driven product, which is very welcoming to any guilds
that would like to establish new communities
and make their city and towns known.
I was just trying to touch base on the guilds.
No, that's a good call-out.
All right, so I want to talk for a second about the game passes.
I know a lot of people here probably have the it them have their ears open
If you missed it at the start
If you want to participate in the game pass drop what you need to do
Follow Avalon follow Daniel games Avalon right here on X join their YouTube fall and subscribe there as well
Once you've done that join their discord open support ticket and let know your wallet, and they'll be dropping that to you.
It's called First Come, First Serve.
say, hey, I've been playing all my word MMOs
and my friend always been playing with me. Can I get a pass for him? Of course, you guys join. It's all good. We're very open to people that, hey, I've been playing all my word MMOs, and my friend always been playing with me.
Can I get a pass for him?
Of course, you guys join.
We're very open to people that do something.
And the bad news for everybody that tries to resell the passes,
they're not going to drop anything for the owner unless they're activated in a game.
Once you activate in a game, you can't resell them.
So this is a game. Once you activate in a game, you can't resell them. This is the game. This is the pass for you to play,
not to just go and drop it for
$5 because it's not going to help
anyone. It's not going to activate.
Just letting everyone know this is not that
type of a game. You have to download,
log in, play a little bit
something, then play and get a drop of
actual NFTs inside of the game and then trade them with someone into a community, right?
Big thing, there's also chests in Avalon that you can find keys and open, and they drop a bunch of cool items.
So it is a game for explorers, but these passes, guys, are not like, you just got to go, activate, play, and that's how it works.
Yeah, absolutely. So I And that's how it works. Thank you. Yeah, absolutely.
So I think you covered how they work.
If I think you already covered that too,
if a player missed the giveaway today
and still wants to pick one up, is there
Maybe they catch this as a replay later in a month from now.
Where can they go and find out more info about how
to pick up their own pass? The best idea is jump into the Discord, our Discord, and then type
hash FAQ, and all the guide is going to come in for you.
You can also go to our website, avalongame.io, and there's a game guide
on the top left. There's also a download button to the
top right, avalongame.io. It's in our X. There's also a download button to the top right,
That's where you can download Avalon.
You have to connect your Wax wallet in order to be synced.
And in order to allow you to download,
you need to have the pass inside of your Wax wallet.
I also encourage supporting our different players that we already have.
There's a bunch of bundles there.
If the bundle has a pass and 21 budges,
you're more than welcome to buy one from our players
and just support them that way.
And that allows you lifetime access to Avalon.
These bundles, I think there's like five or six left.
I think an extremely cool thing because it gives you access
to Avalon lifetime, not even a year,
as long as the servers are going to be up
with this bundle, you can access.
And that's the beauty of our alpha testers.
They were playing and they play all the rates.
They got all the badges for it.
And they're rewarding the next generation of players
with access for 15 years to the game,
which I think is the setup that we did
That's why community loved us so much.
I want to ask a little bit about moving to some of the lore and the characters.
In the past, I know we talked about Templars.
We went kind of into the history and backstory there.
Right now, you mentioned earlier, you recently introduced Morgan Le Fay as a playable character.
So what can, like you told us so far, the red-headed knight, what more can you tell us about her and her role in Avalon?
Well, I don't know where to start.
First of all, it's a female knight character, right?
He is a spellcaster, but she's mostly an archer.
So it's an archery with a little bit, I would say, spellcasting here.
And I think what players are going to like about her
is that she doesn't belong to any of the groups.
So she will not associate with Inquisitor side of the game,
not with the dark side, not with the light.
She will not associate with Templars.
It's just her own hero that it's on the path
to finding a tomb of King Arthur.
And I think Morgan Le Fay is for someone that doesn't,
it's less interested in the historical path of a game
and more interested in the fantasy realm of the game, right?
So, you know, in Arterian Legends,
she'll call it like Morgana or Morgane sometimes.
And she was known for sorcery and illusions.
So she will have in this game a lot of abilities,
like ability three and four are going to be a healing probably
and also necromancy, so reviving people
once you level her up a little bit higher.
And I can spill the beans a little bit.
She also has a quest trail.
And once you finish her quest trail,
she will give you a shapeshifter ability
because that was her main thing in the games.
And I'm not going to tell you what she can shapeshift
and what she can do, but her quest line is going
So one of the main things here is everybody was asking us
for more of an Arthurian character in the game
because aside of Knights of the King Arthur that we have,
So I decided to bring her in
and just give you all the quests that you can expect
from Arthurian lore. Just remembering that he was a villain in a way,
and she was always plotting Arthas' downfall.
But now she comes back, and she's tried to find his tomb
in order to find what he buried with him.
She's looking for something.
So I can tell you guys that much.
This is for people that really likes Excalibur,
that used to watch the Marilyn series,
that read the comic books.
That's something for you guys that say like,
well, historical path, okay, cool.
I understand, but I'm a really fantasy fan
and I want to really run this direction.
So a special set of gear for her,
a special set of weapons,
and ultimate goal shapeshifting.
Of course, she has her own companion.
I can already spill the beans
that her companion is a fox.
that you can train and raise,
actually is getting specific companions.
We already had the companions in the game.
But now they're getting character-specific companions.
So druids are getting bunnies, for example.
I know, not funny until you try to fight the bunny in Avalon.
So those of you that play Avalon, you know,
so bunny is one of the most dangerous enemies in Avalon.
Those of you that uh watch certain shows and know how one bunny can slaughter 15 templars already know what i'm talking about
so um i like as soon as you said bunny and like oh okay i know exactly what you're talking and
the sorcerer tim will probably make us maybe make us an appearance too yeah so it's um which we're
just trying to like to show you guys
that killing little animals not always
ends well for you in games.
So we're trying to spin it.
And when you come first time into the game
and you don't expect all these things,
you have a lot of laugh, you have a lot of wow moments.
And that's what we're trying to do.
It's you going from an interesting moment
It's not a game where you need to collect. Well, we have a bunch of quests. We need to collect 200 things. It's you going from an interesting moment to interesting moment. It's not a game where
you need to collect... well, we have a bunch of quests, we need to collect 200 things. That's fine. But the game is not based on that. So Morgan Le Fay, again, to summarize,
he's a guardian of secrets. He is like a betrayer to King Arthur, but now
he seeks this forbidden power that he hides.
General, this is the character for guys and girls,
and we have a lot of ladies in this game, just so you guys know.
Somehow all our ladies are playing druids.
I don't know why, but that's what I throw the Morgan Le Fay.
Maybe some ladies just want to beat somebody up too.
So I added Morgan Le Fay and see if there is any female
that can kick ass with her
and a little bit dark magic there.
I mean, every character that we do,
we take commentary from our players
and we improve the characters over the years
based on the top leader players.
Because we have people that are richly guys
dedicated 300, 400 hours of their life
to play a particular character
and take it all the way up
and what could be a little bit improved.
And we take it from multiple different people
and then discuss it in a team and put
certain things up. And I just had
World of Warcraft players that came and played. I have different gifts that came but i had some professionals from aws
gaming division and they say many of the games they switch up after 15 minutes just how the
character moves many even good games and in our to stay for hours and hours and they make us
list of the little things and they really like like the old school World of Warcraft general approach to entering the game.
So that's it about Morgan Le Fay.
Sorry, I got always distracted.
It's always fun talking about new characters,
especially something that's kind of like a little bit mysterious,
and you're crossing classes almost
like an Arcane Archer type.
Speaking of classes, I want to ask,
how many classes and playable characters
will players be able to test or use in the Alpha 4 slash beta
that we're going to be running right now?
Well, if God allows me to have some strength,
I hope by April of the next year, it's going to be 10.
Right now, you guys are at 6 and 2 females, so that's 8.
I think that the total is going to be 10,
counting Vikings as 2 and 2,
because female has different attacks
and some different abilities than male Vikings.
It is a separate, the same class, but different character.
If we really narrow it down to the class,
And we are not the typical MMO class.
We mix these classes a little.
A lot of people come in and expect the Holy Triangle
So you guys figure it out.
Yeah, we have the obvious tank.
It's very easy to figure out.
We have the obvious sorcerer.
That's also easy to figure out.
But any other one, like Inquisitor,
is really a mix of assassin and dark mage.
There is a lot of stuff in this game
that we pull from different classes and put in one
and created a whole new class in gaming.
And people love it or hate it.
Really play it and tell us what really is good or not.
So you guys, right now, five.
But when it comes to characters, you can expect ten different characters, I would say, by April.
Because they're ready now, but we're building spec attacks and different abilities for them,
and that takes usually five, six months,
two months about per character to get it tested and done.
I mean, a lot, guys, more than in most of the games that you have seen.
For us, it's most important.
I mean, we've posted this on X, Tony, because my team just told me,
because my team is crazy on tracking what we do.
I don't really even follow.
My team posted that we are in the top 10 games in the world
with amounts of different enemies that we have.
I think it was 70 or 80 different types of enemies.
There's AAA titles like Zelda doesn't have that many.
So we have a lot of different enemies, and they are different.
Also, yeah, okay, guys, you have a lot of enemies by how they behave.
Yes, we have some of them that are really polished,
and some of them that will trip over their own legs.
I mean, it's totally fine.
There will be ogre from time to time.
They will suicide himself falling on his own freaking stick.
Or there will be wolves that you'll be chasing them versus returning from time to time.
They will jump to the ocean and drown themselves.
You still get the XP points and a bunch of laughing.
Not everything is polished,
but neither was the new Assassin's Creed when it came out, right?
So that's a different budget.
So just have fun with it and just make
screenshots record some videos just you dare to have a laugh in your life that's what it is
i hope that was a good answer yeah that was a good one i think one thing you said that stuck
out to me um you mentioned that the the female characters are different than the male counterpart
is um how did you come to that i just for games I've played, there's not a gameplay difference
between playing a female or male character when you're building it.
Well, so the way I was designing Avalon in 2021
when I started the book for it, was that the abilities in the game
will not be within the character,
but they will come assigned with the weapons
that the character can use.
And that is also for all the animations.
So, for example, female characters can use different weapons
that give them different abilities than the main characters, right?
So you will see different of the movement animation, obviously,
but then she can, or all of the movement animation, obviously, but then she
can, or all of the ladies can equip different types of the weapons that guys are blocked from
equipping. And that system on the back end gives them completely different abilities and different
attacks, right? There will be different stamina, mana, all these systems that you see on the bottom in UI, they're different, obviously.
And how they skill and what they do.
But the general movement is locked into the weapons that they can use.
Every single time you will have a female character, at least two of four skills are going to be completely different than the large Vikings. So we have the Vikingiking tank but we have his wife the lady viking and she's a
really decent sized character i can say very muscular she's in our videos uh you will see
smash you will see clash she will tear the heads off um but then also she has the flower poison
kiss and things like that so there's um there's female side to certain characters. Keep in mind that our Vikings are two classes.
Vikings of the Water Clan and Viking Raiders.
Water Clan is a giant size of Vikings that basically is more of a tank.
And Raiders are more of a fast, way better with horses,
and they can train horses.
So two different types of Vikings is something that we went for here.
So yeah, females, I promise you, at least two skills will be different.
It gives you something else to think about when you're making your character
rather than just like the class.
Speaking for myself, I know you mentioned Avalon
is more of like a 10-group co-op raid, not necessarily an MMO.
I wanted to ask, I did hear this.
I heard there was a rumor about a single-player version.
Is there any truth to that?
Or what might players expect from something
like that kind of experience?
So that came from our publishers and discussions.
And there's a large group of players around the world, and you guys know that,
that not necessarily are interested in playing with other people
or be dependent on someone in a raid or waiting for people.
for people, not everyone likes that.
If you will research sales of single-player RPG games,
they're also larger than multiplayer RPG games in the world.
The only thing that we would like to keep,
and we are launching that for consoles and PC,
it's going to be a single-player version.
It will have a couple different maps.
The rates will be adjusted.
There's some smaller rates for that.
We believe this is the way to reach out
and grow the community that then maybe
if they feel that they're really good,
they want to join the multiplayer side of the game
and they will have access from single-player
to launch into the servers.
But we think the community that does not want to be constantly online is larger and it's
And if you guys really look at Everfan, it is going to bleed into the, let's call it
And therefore, we're designed to put a couple of our guys
onto a single player version.
It's much harder to make multiplayer games than single player.
We just need to go backwards, which is totally fine.
We're keeping our multiplayer.
And we're reaching out to the wider community on Xbox
and PC for now to get a single player in.
However, your rewards, your updates, your upgrades,
and certain coins and things
that you're going to be able to get at Exola, for example,
So it's something like Assassin's Creed in general, where you need to still log in and
pull your inventory, right?
But then you just buy yourself and do your own thing, right?
You can play without logging in, but we need to keep the inventories on the server so there
is no playing with inventories and level on people's computers.
So that's how we're going to keep it.
I personally think it's a strain on the company
to spend the additional money.
But I think for the future,
how you guys can see it even now,
20 years later, people buy single-player games for $5.99.
And they're still buying them
because they want to play something new.
So for us, it's the additional support
and the larger community outreach
and much easier in Unreal 5
to give you more interesting game in a single player
than push the whole thing into multiplayer right now.
So that was like, I think it's exciting for a lot of people
because maybe here in a web-free space,
everybody's like, oh, I'm connected.
I still want to be with people.
But there's millions of players around the world
that all they want to do is just play
by themselves just download to the console and don't be connected to internet or buy it in a
store don't forget that we still live in that era and um we would like to give it to everyone
why not right we don't need to be always a multiplayer game and i think i'm a really big
fan of assassin's creed i always bring it up. And the early ones were single players.
And then multiplayer servers did not
that very well over the years.
And if that would be an MMO, it would not work out.
So we want to cater to this crowd
and maybe make the multiplayer crowd bigger
because there was a single play version.
Yeah, I like the idea of that because I'm exactly what you're talking about. I'm not someone who likes to go online and play with others. I'd rather just sit by myself. We don't always have time at the same time for everyone else. That was something I found difficult was coordinating large guilds and large raids and finding out the time. It's kind of like trying to schedule a D&D session. Being able to do it on your own at least to me is pretty great it's it's
it's it's time i think it's time um for this game to be accessible to everyone that does not
need to necessarily be connected to the other person and be in the chart and and wait like you
say waiting is it's not so we so we look through everything, and we do adjust the rates
because they're too difficult for a single person.
So we're working on that one.
It's all the technical stuff on the back end,
and we're making sure that both groups have a little bit different maps
so they can say, oh, you know what?
But this is actually a little bit different.
It's not exactly the same game. It's a little bit different here.
The titles are also different.
It's Avalon the Druids and Avalon Rise of the Templars.
And for the single player, it's going to be the Druids,
Just avoid more confusion between the two titles.
But we did publish a big article about that last year, I believe,
I think it's a great thing, honestly.
I'm a little bit challenged here because I need to do two games at once, but it's a great thing, honestly. I'm a little bit challenged here
because I need to do two games at once, but it's OK.
That doesn't distract us from production
because we're using the same material.
I just want to say, guys, that we are bringing...
I want to spill some beans because everybody's always like,
hey, OK, but what is the big thing?
Well, there's some big things that are coming,
and I'm under a lot of NDAs with certain, I can say, stars
that we're bringing into the game.
One of the things that we're bringing very soon
is going to be a dog character, a dog companion.
Yes, Avalon has already seven companions, we know,
but this one is going to be different.
It's a dog that belongs in real life to a very famous actor,
and he's coming to help us do some voiceovers here.
and that dog will be supporting their dog adoption foundation that they have.
So for all the dog lovers and pet lovers,
we bring in something here that is going to be very cool.
He's going to be always with you.
He's going to be a little puppy.
Then with time and levels, he's going to grow to a dog.
He's not going to be a battle companion,
but he's going to be a find direction and sniff danger companion.
It's always helpful, specifically at night.
And I think that's a big thing.
Just for those that are new here, quick run up about,
because I need to just tell you this.
There is not a lot of games in the world that
has three PVP-enabled Bottle Dragons,
in three different chains that players can possess and fight in the skies.
We have that, fully developed.
There's not many games that have it.
You can probably count six or seven,
and they're giant companies.
Not many games has companions.
Yes, maybe 20 games in the games has companions. Yes,
maybe 20 games in the world has companions in multiplayer, right? The large ones.
But then less of them has bottle companions.
We have mountable bottle companions
and then we have mounts that you
can mount and bottle on them.
again, six, seven games in the world has that currently.
So Avalon has the whole lineup of anything that can support your player into just scouting
I had to add it because we were really proud of that.
We already started from horses, and now we're up to dragons and spiders fighting for you
and six players riding under giant trolls to kill a
dragon um it's it's um it became very fun and we really like it um that's that's something that i
want to bring up is there any question following up yeah i've got a couple questions left one from
discord yesterday and then i'll have the final question remember if you're listening here if you have questions um for avalon um you can start requesting to speak um right now and then after our short
interview if you are a wax project um representative i want to share what you've been building this week
or this month from wax we'll bring you up then too so uh first off this one's from discord north uh
some alien w's in discord you know about when Avalon
will be fully released. Earlier
year, I think you want to say, when you're talking about
with production like this,
I don't like to give dates.
But we haven't been behind with releasing the alphas.
We've been just a little bit behind with beta.
I don't really want to promise somebody some kind of date when it's going to be released.
I am quite positive that this year we're going to push the beta out.
year, we're going to push the beta out.
On the full release of the game, our schedule shows end of 2026.
And we hope that's exactly what's going to happen.
Before that, we're going to have a demo on Steam for non-web-free
As you guys know, we have two different versions of the game
for the web-free and for the web-2 that may bleed over to the Web3 community, may not.
But not everyone is a fan of NFTs and blockchain.
So we made a specific version for Web2.
I would say you can expect something at the end of 2026 if we able to do
that, right? We're going to release
there's no issues that we
want, whatever the changes are going to
we're not that far guys, we have 8
easily 200-250 hours of gameplay
we're just polishing at this point.
We don't think there is...
We need another three years of building.
We're just trying to make it more professional
So again, I'm going to back away
but our calendar shows end of 2026,
unless there are some major delays,
but the game is playable today.
Sounds like it's playable now,
and there's lots of updates coming,
and the team's working extremely hard
to bring even more and more value and content
whether it's Web3, Web2, or Web Blockchain on your own.
Yes, we've been working extremely hard.
Is there more questions coming?
All right, so I have one last one.
This is the last one for me.
We've talked about a lot of different things today,
from Morgan the Fae, different knights,
characters that might be coming in the future,
community-driven quests and stuff.
What is it that excites you the most
over everything we kind of talked today?
And then we have a question for Pantheon after that.
If I'm honest, what excites me the most is the April meeting with –
so we are – I'll be honest.
Production is one thing, but tell me.
I'll just tell you like my friend what excites me the most is we have a
meeting in bristol england um next year in april we're renting a giant castle with additional small
um a castle next to it to bring some of the community members, the players, the guild leaders,
our actors and the team to a meetup after all these four years.
It's one of the most beautiful locations you can imagine for the Celtic Castle in the world.
This has been wonderfully sponsored by one of our Scottish founders
as we promote Scotland a little bit.
But we decided to get this get-together.
For us, for me, that's the most exciting thing.
I have not seen in person many of my team members
because we are all probably, almost everybody works remotely.
So we get to meet each other.
I get to meet the guild leaders.
If everybody's interested in joining,
So you can join in the Discord
if you've been active with us.
We still have a couple of invites,
You're going to see the Templar Grandmaster.
You're going to see the Inquisitor
We have a couple of actors coming and stuff. It's going to be one of these events that
the giant meeting that we just did with Reddit
scale. This time we're going to go to
Phantasy Medieval. We're going to make it like a true
Disney meeting in a style. Not
Disney Disney, but you know, guys, what I mean.
We're going to be joking.
We're going to have some ale.
We're going to break some glass and we're going to have some laughs.
And these moments you will remember for 15, 20 years, you not always need to be glued
And we're going to do a live stream from there for those of you that cannot join.
That's what I'm excited for in April next year.
It's still several months away, but the time goes so quick in our lives.
Good days, bad days, before we know we're older, right?
So that's what I'm excited in life when it goes around the game.
What I'm excited for the game is to get its footprint, to just people to understand
and appreciate that there is 29 Avalons out there,
games that share the name Avalon.
And it's something that the community understands
that it is an Arturion Legends.
It always tells you very quickly what the game is about.
What can I expect, right?
And what I'm excited the most when it comes to the game development,
well, not only working with a couple of great voiceover actors
that I can't wait to just have a drink with them,
but it's bringing the world that you guys get lost and have fun
That was a great evening.
That game didn't annoy me.
That didn't crash all the time.
And I learned something new and I can recommend it to the friend.
You guys all play RPG games to get lost, to forget about the world,
forget about the problems, forget about certain people that may annoy you this day.
That's how we all go to games. Some people go to make 20 bucks out of NFTs.
There are better ways of making money than 20 bucks of NFTs, I'm sure. But if you go for fun,
this is what we're trying to do. And all the jokes that we're putting is that's what excites
our team. The players have a great time. That exciting for the game development i say tommy to be honest i'm really excited about the single player because that will speak to a way larger
audience than mmos and um our rented servers speak to um we are um and i want to say here
that we also cooperating one of the largest german companies that helped create and push out Valheim.
I don't know if you guys know Valheim.
It's one of the most successful games in indie studios in the last years.
So we're cooperating with some teams over there.
I'm flying to Germany to speak to them.
We make sure we use the tools that are the best in the market,
try to follow the leaders, and just to make the product better.
But I think once we release the single player,
for me, that's very exciting
because it's a new kind of shift for our division.
And that one is going to be probably ready faster
than the full multiplayer version.
So that's kind of, I talk a lot about that,
but I think that's the excitement
that's coming. Again, I'm hyping up the
meetup in April, so I'll be
posting a lot about this one.
And for those of you that cannot join,
we will have some live streams
from there. We'll for sure reach out to Wax
to join in. Maybe someone can fly
in from Wax from Santa Monica to just
join us and just have some time.
Have some great, great times.
That's a great way, a great kind of like parting idea about what you're excited for.
Anthony, please go ahead.
I'm actually really excited to explore Avalon.
Also kind of nervous because I do get sucked into games like that.
I've probably bought Skyrim on five different consoles
and hundreds of hours into there.
So if you guys don't hear from me from a couple months,
you know I'm just lost in the game.
But question for the speaker, from a creator's perspective
and a game designer, what's been maybe one
of the most important lessons that you've
learned over the past four years or challenges overcome?
Just curious to hear your perspective on that.
Oh, thank you for the question.
I really appreciate that.
And I spend quite a bit of time in Skyrim myself.
So I tried to keep that first-person camera helpful in the game.
Skyrim was one of the first large world games that I was playing, actually.
Somehow I skipped World of Warcraft when I was younger and got it from Skyrim.
Avalon, just remember, Avalon doesn't have 1,760 employees on team.
It's Skyrim and it's not a multi-billion dollar corporation.
So we're just little people.
But yes, what's the challenges for us, the biggest?
Well, for me personally, this is a first MMO.
And I wish I started from something easier, I'm going to say.
But I just don't give up.
I build a lot of businesses in my life.
And a lot of trolls came after those businesses.
And I make sure they never came after us again.
So we've faced incredible things at the beginning of the game.
One of them was the item and inventory system and distributions.
I'd probably say the back end,
what you guys never see in these games is the back end,
is the code, is a thousand hours of the person
that was writing the code.
It's the C++ and blueprints that you don't see.
The codes, you see multiple different companies
and they're using these codes.
And you see this company launched 17 different games.
They're a little bit similar
because it's all the back end.
And the back end is what for us was the biggest challenge.
We had high expectations.
We think everything is easy.
When you think it's easy, it's hard.
And when you think it's hard,
it's going to be five times harder than you were thinking.
So building games is a very difficult process.
These days, people say, oh, AI is going to do this and that.
AI can do some tasks and gets better on simple tasks.
But you cannot do it with people that have 15 years of coding experience.
So let's keep that in mind.
I say for us, the biggest challenge and surprise was inventory issues.
The items, that was that was surprise um also an ai in a mops so the everything that you see fight interact with
chase um their behavior versus environment for us even experienced people that we had, because we're working in Unreal 4.2.7, now 5.6.
Our guys have some really good guys on team.
Some of them have 15, 20 years since early 2000s
in these different gaming projects.
And we are still getting surprised every day
like how stupid AI can be.
No matter how you're going to program it,
there's always something that's going to piss it off
and it's going to do something unpredictable. so these will be the things that surprise me the
most also upkeeping interest of the community has been a challenge which is a problem with mmos
that we notice too people stay in groups when they're interested then they're
kind of fade out and they come in when there is an update, which is the story for most of the games.
So that was the surprise on the building side.
Now, positive surprises are a huge support from AWS gaming division.
Amazon has been incredible with us since the beginning.
And if anyone here works at your own game and you're planning to do something online,
huge recommendation, reach out to Amazon.
They have very deep pockets.
A second, of course, I'm not going to be kudos to Wax,
because Wax has been with us since the week one.
Huge support, too, from all the guys in Germany and here in the States.
But the second big support that we have received was from Microsoft.
I'm also a huge believer after several
meetings with them in what I'm
doing and where I'm going with it.
And also DeepPockets, so I highly recommend
guys jump in there and if you need any
equipment, anything, I mean, Microsoft
Just great people. Just got to
meet in person, got to go to the
different places and meet them in person.
And the third, great support for us.
And that took freaking 11 months.
And that was also surprising for us.
We couldn't get into some of these publishers.
Because when you do your first game, people just think you're going to flake.
You're never going to deliver.
There was a lot of negativity when you knew.
And you probably got spacing in different areas of your life. Just keep on banging on the door. Keep on sending
your process. Keep on sending whatever you do in life. If it's creating a car right now or building
something, you cannot give up. You just cannot. You just have to fight it to the end. So that's
what we did. And finally, Xceler says, okay, well, we're going to play your game. And now we decide if you are trustfully enough.
And they come and play the game and spend hours with me. And they were like, what the hell?
You guys can make a game like that? Yes, we can. And so then allowed us for current pre-sales for
the web too. So some big surprises, I will say, on how much help is out there for little developers. If you really reach out, if you're personable, and you go and meet with people.
And I highly recommend the new builders here.
If you can go to GDC or any, if you're in Europe, if you go to any of the European conventions for gaming,
go, knock on the booth, get some support.
And the guys are going to help you.
And ladies, they're just encouraging people to build.
And WAX is pretty easy to build.
I mean, guys, it's a super...
I don't understand what's happening here.
Transactions are pretty much for free.
Marketplaces are working.
I mean, it's a great chain.
We had no issues, and our players, many of them,
moved from Polygon to WAX.
Because of the faster marketplace, when now we have Polygon to Wax. Tons of them. I would say 60%. Because of the faster marketplace.
Well, now we have Polygon inside of Atomic Hub.
And I'm going to say a bunch of kudos to Wax.
A bunch of kudos to Tommy over the years.
Always professional, like almost nobody in the industry these days.
And just stay with Wax, guys.
If you're Wax people, stay with Wax.
Encourage people to use Wax. Encourage people to use wax.
Encourage people to bring game,
And it's one of the best chains
for just playing the games.
We have issues with every single chain
including some of the big chains.
We had a lot of issues with them.
We had new issues with wax since the beginning.
So that's, I hope that was a good answer.
Yeah, I think Anthony had to head to the next meeting.
Yeah, that was really great.
Thank you so much for the kudos.
It's really, I think you mentioned GDC.
A lot of, I think it's so important to start building relationships like that.
I've only been to GDC once,
but there's a lot of connections that I made that have kind of starting to
it's definitely an experience that I think is a worthwhile if you're a game
that's all I've got for you today.
Thank you so much for sharing the update,
for bringing the giveaway.
I'll talk about the giveaway again before the show closes.
Remember, join all the socials,
join the Discord and open a support ticket to let them know that you are
excited to try Avalon or maybe you've got a friend who you want to get in
Take advantage while you can.
I'm going to open it up to the rest of the creators. on the past, take advantage while you can.
I'm going to open it up to the rest of the creators.
Marius, you feel free to stay up here if you'd like.
I think that's everything we want to talk about.
MARIUSZ GASIEWSKI- Thank you for having me.
And I'm open to listening to anybody else that
has anything else to add.
Thank you for everybody to listen and join the Discord
more awesome all right so if you are a project building on wax go ahead and request to come up
and speak i think we'll have pika first um sharing about the journey um and then byron i know you had
i saw something cryptic from you earlier today about a secret so if you want to come and share
that a little bit as well please by all means, come on up. Pika?
Hold on, I think my ex is rocking me a little bit because suddenly I can almost not hear anything.
But I had a quick last question for the Avalon final. You mentioned the opportunity about guilds and other projects
coming into the game and exploring it.
And I love the idea as well.
One thing I was wondering a little bit about was,
as far as I understand, most of the game is off-chain.
Would there be some sort of Avalon API or something to be able to track
the progress or the events or different things within the Avalon game to be able to reward
players or incentivize playing off-Avalon from within, for example, the Wex blockchain?
So we had a lot of proposals and we have them the whole list is a bunch of companies that
connects api to your game and tracks everything and then rewards players we have not at the second
decide who we want to go with i try to don't connect company in the first year or second
year of existence um i try to while i'm building and i'm close the end, I will see which of these companies are still existing
So we're going to choose someone that's popular
that can distribute some kind of rewards,
and I want to mention that to everyone,
and it was since the beginning of the game.
Avalon rewards you in the raids based on your skill and level
and engagement in the game.
And Avalon, once it's released, the Druids in Web3
will be rewarding you in some kind of drops of tokens,
either ours, either different chains that we have,
also based on your skill and your level
and your participation in the game on a weekly basis.
So we're going to have a scoreboard,
which is going to be showing the most active players,
the highest level, the highest level today,
and the highest level in a week and highest level in a month.
And they'll be receiving rewards for that.
But that's us internally when it comes to separate platforms.
We have not the site yet,
but we are also partnered with IMX and they have their own rewarding system
inside of the marketplace
and that is based on activity and logins.
We also are partnered on the WAC side with...
We have Wombat rewards that are currently...
And Wombat is tracing everything,
all our quests and everything.
So if you want to gain any rewards directly on the WAC system, Wombat rewards that are currently, and Wombat is tracing everything, all our quests and everything. So if you want to gain any rewards directly on the WAX system,
Wombat is connected to us. So you can get some drops from Wombat.
Wombat has tokens, right? So that's the stuff that we have,
but any API aside of that, currently not connected,
and it will be connected shortly before we release and it will be announced.
Okay, that sounds awesome.
That was more or less what I wanted to do.
I'm also a creator myself of the Pixel Journey project on WAX,
and we also have a token and some NFTs and stuff like that. So that could be something interesting at some
point. Definitely I want to look into.
Where are you located? Christoph, where are you located? Just really quickly. What country are you in?
I'm currently based in Spain, but I'm from Denmark.
Yes, so Wombat is also located in Europe.
You should, I think, connect with them and have a conversation.
Wombat currently also owns Atomic Hub,
like really the best people that I work with
over the last four years.
Please look at the rewards and everything.
They're really strong in European markets.
So just my recommendation.
Yeah, I think that's the way we've done with the restructure for that, Diga.
But yeah, that's good stuff. That's a good idea. Sorry, Diga, I didn't mean to cut you off.
Yeah, no problem. It was just the whole Wombat thing.
But that's a long story for another day.
Well, then from the pixel journey front, the only recent news I wanted to quickly add in here was that we're building a pixel market, and it's slowly coming together these days.
So look out for some news and get stacking some wax to be spending in there
because that's what you're going to need.
So tell me, can you share a little bit more?
Is it just pixels? Is it pixels, pips, and the ingredients?
Is there anything else that you're planning to do as far as including other
pixel journey adjacent collections
on atomic market for the most part
we are giving it a little bit of a
special twist. First of all, it's very mostly special journey centered, so we have all our
different mechanics and different tools and opportunities that we have integrated across
WAX, all integrated into the same portal, kind of like Atomic Hub is in itself.
But we tried to build in a little bit of all the different platforms,
so we can also access some Wex style tools and some Nifty blends and a little bit of everything.
We also have tied in a few unique features, such as having a PixelPFP unlocks more content or more opportunities on the PixelMarket. And we have sort of a little integrated pixel market chat
where people are going to be able to chat or post directly
within, for example, a collection page
or on a single NFT listing or on their profiles
So we're going to try to incentivize.
Well, we also have incentives, rewards,
for people shopping on the Pixel Market market.
We'll get some rewards back both in PXJ
and in form of our Pixel ingredients.
So while our direct cashback and tokens
might be a little bit lower than some of the competitors,
then, I mean, firstly, you're going to get the PXJ.
And secondly, you might have a chance to get some NFTs as well.
So we're trying to do a little bit of all the things all at once
and with our Pixel Journey twist.
I like how you take kind of everything and you, like you said,
the Pixel Journey twist, and you grab it and you pixel journalize it and you share it as educational content, as opportunities for the entire community that you're building. I think it's very worthwhile. Thank you, Pika.
My pleasure. And yeah, we are here to explore all the opportunities and all the projects and all the tools, all the upsides that Wax has to offer.
So it's just to get started and enjoy the journey.
Well said, sir. All right. Let's I see Byron, you've made your you've shambled your way up to the stage.
your way up to the stage, Byron. Welcome. It's good to see you. Happy Wax Wednesday.
Byron, welcome. It's good to see you. Happy Wax Wednesday.
Saw you doing a little bit of sketching yesterday while I was poking around
while working. How are you? Welcome. Thanks. I'm doing okay.
My live stream sketching schedule is kind of off the rails
lately, but that's life, right? How are you?
I am busy. I am tired. I am
waiting, eagerly waiting impatiently for some things to start
and to happen soon on my end. But now I'm just, that's it. That's about what I'm working
on is this and helping. We're going to do, probably should have talked about this again,
but I think I'm going to rebuild a little bit of the wax onboarding for the end of the
month. We can start opening that up again. so i'll have a space about that next month
sorry this isn't about you byron what's good no no problem no problem um what's good um the
orde catacombs uh that i launched uh last month or so uh people have completed that so that was
cool it was really neat to see people buying and burning all those old low value nfts
of mine to to get through there some people thought it was too much like real work and they
gave up but most people enjoyed the showing up every day to do something slightly different
on the wax blockchain where they burn eight nfts one per hour for eight hours you know
like a typical job right so that went well learned a things, tweaked it out to make it better, and I'm working on month two.
In the meantime, though, I always like to try to make little puzzles, so I put together
a new art puzzle for the Horde. It's going to be available
on DHC only, so if you don't have any, go get some. You can get it at
TacoSwap or Elcor. But the thing is, it's
just one picture that I cut up into 20 different
of parts. There might be nothing in it, because
we're all Deagans. We like the Gamble Chance.
So there could be nothing, but it could be one or two
parts, most likely two. And then
you need those 20 parts to complete
right? And there's only 20 of the
complete picture, so it's a little limited edition.
The twist is, though, again,
you can only get it with DHC,
and then you can also only get 10 packs every 20 hours,
10 from NFT Hive and 10 from Nefty Box,
so that, you know, spread it out a little bit,
use both platforms, make people work a little bit,
and try to bring a bit of kind of fun and excitement.
get like up to 20 packs every day roughly every 20 hours so it kind of encouraging a bit of trading
and swapping in the in the discord amongst fellow collectors so just trying to bring a little bit of
fun to the people that collect my artwork on the wax blockchain and you know if you don't have any
dhc and you wanted to get somebody can't afford any you can always join the discord and work uh if you do enough work you know all you do is hit
the exclamation mark and type work in a certain channel and then you get points and you can
exchange those points for a dhc later on so that's another way to earn some and that's about it i
made a new art project i dropped it on wax for my collectors uh just like the other guy was saying
wax is so easy to build on.
Nothing really ever fails
unless you're not doing your proper math
or if you're not paying attention.
Sometimes I do spelling mistakes on my templates,
so I have to re-template it,
Now I have to go and see a man about a horse.
I guess your back teeth are floating.
I like that your brain always comes to the fun.
And on a side note, I'm starting to list my artworks for sale in my coffee shop.
That's nothing to do with Web3 at all.
But, you know, I'm trying to start selling the originals because I've got a big pile of them here in my studio,
and it's just taking up space.
So if you want art, reach out.
I think we're about towards the end of our show um if there's any uh last minute folks you want to come up and share um i think
next week i will not be having a space next week is october 1st um so i'll be clearing the way for
the grand returns of our favorite streamers and space hosts. But that'll be next week.
This week, I think that's about it for this week.
